Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey everybody and welcome to the Hope Hotline. We are ready and we're in to go on Friday. We have all of our social media and now we have Tick Tock. Yeah. We got Tick Tock in the house. Yeah. Tick Tock's live. Hey guys, we got two Tick Tock's live actually.
Starting point is 00:00:38 We have the Hope hotline live in front of me and we've got Hey It's Hope over on Hope. So if you are watching on a computer or an iPad or anything else and you have another device, go hop over there and go see us. Yeah, thanks for joining us today. We appreciate that. I don't really have nothing to open up with. Do you guys have anything up to open up with?
Starting point is 00:00:58 Got anything great going on this weekend? I got nothing. I am going on a charter boat tomorrow with Captain Tom. Are you kidding me? Yes. With Jeff and the kids. Oh, going deep sea. Yes, half day, three quarter day.
Starting point is 00:01:18 That's awesome. Deep sea. I don't wanna do that so bad. What is, what do you, your family's in town. I know, I think we're just gonna go to the beach tomorrow. My sister-in-law's very pregnant. It's very hot. And yeah, and they're from Massachusetts,
Starting point is 00:01:36 so it is warmer even for her. But I think she wants to do the beach tomorrow. They're close to Boca, so maybe Boca or, is Minnesota, is Inglewood open? I don't think so. Is that crazy? Englewood is. Okay. It just opened somebody told me. Yeah. For those of you who are not from around town, yeah, that would be from Helene and Milton. Right. Thank you very much. The storm surge just took us out baby. Took us out. But we're coming back with a vengeance. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:08 It's taking forever. What else is going on? Nothing? And then Sunday. Sunday, Sunday, Sunday. It's Sunday. Baptism. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:18 Baptism Sunday. I'm really excited for that. It's one of my favorite Sundays because we do baptisms during worship and I have to like hold it together. Thankfully I'm working so I can like put it in the right spot but when I wasn't working I just cried the whole time. Yeah I'm not usually crying I'm usually mad about something. Something's not going right. What is that? It's a working Sunday for you. That is that? It's a working Sunday for you. That's right. But I'm usually like, what is going on? Oh, I know.
Starting point is 00:02:47 No, I zone out and then, and I don't hear anything either. So you hear all the things. No, I'm not usually mad. I have been mad on baptism Sundays, but I agree with you. Sometimes man, especially when those little kids go in. Yeah. Oh my gosh. I know.
Starting point is 00:03:03 I want you to know someone who is making that decision. Or you know where they've come from. Yes. That's the tougher pill to swallow. It's like you see like where God has, where they started out before God and where God took them. Yep. Those hit.
Starting point is 00:03:19 Those will get you. Those will get you. And rip my heart out. Mine's the older people. I'm like, oh my gosh. Yes. Cause I'm like, And they're like gosh, yes. Cause I'm like. And they're like having a hard time even like going in.
Starting point is 00:03:28 I know, I know, I know. I know. Like they decided to do that later in life. Hope, do you remember when we used to do it at the beach? Oh my gosh. Cuddy literally just asked. She's like, why can't we do it at the beach? I'm like, thank God we don't.
Starting point is 00:03:41 Oh my gosh. They, there was one time. They would pack up the whole church and just head to the beach. Was it on a Sunday? On a Sunday. After service. Oh, after service, okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:03:50 Oh my gosh. That's so funny. And Tom wore a white t-shirt one time. Yep. Oh no. And he should not have been wearing a white t-shirt. Doesn't he know? I was literally just like, what are you doing?
Starting point is 00:04:00 Oh man. Oh, it was disgusting. That's so. It was disgusting. That's her husband. Those were the days. I mean, you could see the hair through the t-shirt, the man boobs.
Starting point is 00:04:12 You're definitely not beach people. No, I'm like, what were you thinking? I wasn't thinking. I'm like, he's like, sorry, I've ruined everybody's pictures. Oh my gosh. Yeah, you could not, like I don't remember who's taking the pictures at the time,
Starting point is 00:04:24 but they were like, I don't even know what to do. I'm like, I mean, don't even pass those out. Cause all these people are gonna not look at the picture of the person getting baptized, but of the man breasted, hairy chested, wet t-shirt. Aaron is thin. Yeah. Aaron is thin.
Starting point is 00:04:45 Aaron is thin and he could wear a white t-shirt if he wanted to. That's funny. Dark colors, guys. Yeah, wear your dark colors. Yeah, Tom's like, never again. And that's here from now on. A girl that he worked with, you know how cops are.
Starting point is 00:04:58 A girl they work with is like, dude. And he's like, I know. So bad. I'm like, oh my gosh. I was like, he literally got in the water. The wave, first wave hit him and I went. Uh-oh. Uh-oh.
Starting point is 00:05:14 Like this is not what you wanna see for what t-shirt contest. No. Definitely not. No, that wasn't it. So funny. But yeah, that one was bad because that one, a friend of mine went in there
Starting point is 00:05:25 because her children decided to get baptized that Sunday and she was in a dress and she decided cause she just had to be out there with them. And her dress went right over her head. Oh my gosh, no. And she was like, I'm like, oh, well, there you go. It is what it is. It is what it is.
Starting point is 00:05:40 You wanna be out there and you got the pictures you wanted. So who cares that everybody saw your little white butt, huh? The waves were big. They were huge that day. And you can't determine that. No. I mean, people were getting knocked over, hitting the shelves as they were coming out.
Starting point is 00:05:55 You weren't even wanting to sign up for it. I was a rough one. But yeah, I'm glad we don't do the beach anymore. That's a good thing. That ship has sailed. But okay, so busy glad we don't do the beach anymore. That's a good thing. That ship has sailed. But okay, so busy weekend for everybody but me. I'm happy about that. I'm happy for you.
Starting point is 00:06:11 I love that for you. Me too. Oh my gosh, me too. I think I'm gonna just, I was thinking about this. I'm gonna clean my house in the morning and then I think I'm gonna just veg outside by the pool. Good girl. It's gonna be perfect weather tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:06:23 Be still and know that he's God. Well, I'm gonna veg by the pool. Good girl. It's gonna be perfect weather tomorrow. Be still and know that he is God. Well, I'm gonna veg by the pool while I write things because I have a whole bunch of stuff that I gotta write to send to you, but I'm gonna veg. Okay, I like that. Yeah, so you wanna do the thing that you think? I'll do the thing. I'll do the thing.
Starting point is 00:06:38 All right, guys, so if you're on Facebook before you be obedient and hop over to Rumble, I'm just joking, but if you want to hop over to Rumble, I'll copy and paste the link real quick for you guys. If you want to head over, there's a live chat over there. But before you do, just like and share this podcast. Get it out to your friends.
Starting point is 00:06:56 And yeah, you can check out our live stream and live chat on Rumble. So we're over there. But like, share, comment, all the stuff on Facebook that you can do, then head over to Rumble. If you are on YouTube, make sure you subscribe and like and do all the stuff over there as well. Like I said, for I guess Facebook sometimes lets you know as well, but YouTube's pretty good about saying like, Hey, they're live now. And we always do our 10 minute countdown. So it'll help you remind help remind you that we are going live
Starting point is 00:07:23 because it's 3pm. So sometimes just get caught up in your day But if you're over at YouTube subscribe to all that stuff and hop over to rumble as well I'm gonna drop the link for you guys as well just to make it super easy for you and And if you have to sign up and stuff rumble is really easy once you're signed up you're good And if you subscribe to them there get their premium then you don't have to which yes, it's a cost, but there's no ads and that's wonderful. And we like to support companies that do let free speech happen. So anyways, if you are on rumble, now you've got some homework to do. I need you guys to click on the repost and just say watch live with us or something. And just post that and then you can like and make sure you're
Starting point is 00:08:06 following. If you scroll over it, it'll say unfollow. So if you are following it'll say following. You can also share it. There's a little link there to share. If you put the comment in rumble, it'll be easy for us to go back and see later on. I actually usually get emails about that as well. If the live stream or sorry, the live chat, if you put anything in there, it will disappear at the end. So I won't see that unless I'm watching which I will be but it won't see it later on if you are watching a replay Your only option is the comment. So which leads me to my next thing But before we go we do have black robe TV comm that you can watch later and the audio podcast That's always available for you. But if you do have a question, you can send it over to ask hope at hope hotline comm
Starting point is 00:08:44 You can send them in DMS and stuff like that, too But it is it's very convenient when you send I'll also send you back a little graphic that will say that we got your email And then we usually get them get to them pretty quickly unless we're doing something special or it's a holiday or something like that But we usually get to your questions pretty quickly And then Let's see what we got next. We got Instagram. So if you are over, you obviously know we're on Facebook because we're live there,
Starting point is 00:09:11 but we are on Instagram as well. And then we have our TikTok, which we are live on right now. We've got some viewers. And Hope has hers as well. So make sure you're following all those if you're on these platforms. Hers is hey, it's hope01. So make sure you go see her. She's got some cool new things there.
Starting point is 00:09:28 I have to update that picture so that you can kind of see the new stuff she's doing. But head over there, go check it out. She's got some really good questions over there. They're not done the same though, either. Very different. TikTok's very, very different. So we try to do different things on different platforms
Starting point is 00:09:43 just because it's fun. We like doing fun stuff. So head over there, go check that out. And then our friend Natalie, she is going to be here. So you're going to send your questions in to askhope at hopehotline.com. She is going to be here every single month. I should have shown this one first.
Starting point is 00:09:57 So ask Natalie every month, the end of the month, the last Friday of the month, she will be here. So start sending those questions in. Even if you hear this replay at the end of the month, she will be here. So start sending those questions in. Even if it like if you hear this replay at the end of the month, send it in anyways, we will keep it in a nice little list for her for the following month. So you're going to send them in here. Ask Hope at HopeHotline.com. Send in any questions that you have, medical, peptides, all the fun stuff, even follow up questions, because we just had her on. So if you have a follow up question for something she talked about, we got into nicotine, we got into all kinds of stuff. So yeah, feel free to
Starting point is 00:10:27 send those questions. You know, even if it's controversial, just send it over. We'll see like what we can do with it. And if you are local and looking for an amazing physician, her company is Saved by Grace. So you can go to her website, which I'm going to go back to again, SavedbyGraceiwc.com. So make sure you check those out. And last but not least, our merch, FoundationChurchfl.com. You can click on Shop or if you come get baptized on Sunday or watch somebody get baptized or just come to church because you love the Lord.
Starting point is 00:10:58 And it says to do that. You can come get your own merch and you get it same day. So come visit us. Even if you live in a different state, I mean, I've been watching, I'm gonna come back to us. I've been watching people do in and outs. What is that? Down and out and down, out and in.
Starting point is 00:11:14 They leave at five in the morning from New York, New York, fly down to like Tampa, and then they go to the beach for the day and they fly out in the last flight. So they spend the whole day, their whole Saturday at the beach and then they go back and they're the day and they fly out in the last flight. So they spend the whole day, their whole Saturday at the beach and then they go back and they're home by like 10 p.m. That's brilliant.
Starting point is 00:11:31 In and out, down and backs. How's that? That can't be cheap. It depends like what time of year you go and stuff like that. So, and those are different places. Like they'll just go wherever. But it can't be too expensive
Starting point is 00:11:41 because you're not spending the night anywhere. Right. And you're not checking a bag. Right. No bag. No bags, yeah. You know what I mean? Oh my gosh, girls, we gotta do this.
Starting point is 00:11:50 Okay. Yes, let's do that. Let's do it. We'll take the whole pot line on the road. Whole pot line. Where can we go for just a day? New York City. Anywhere. That's a really good idea.
Starting point is 00:12:04 Okay. Let's do an in and out. That sounds perverted, but let's do an in and out. I'd use chat GPT, but unfortunately we're live. Oh, thank you. What is it called when you leave early in the morning and you come back late at night? This one girl does it all the time on TikTok. I love watching it.
Starting point is 00:12:20 She got her like systems down. It has to be close enough because you don't want to go to California with like a four hour. Right, right. Or even a four hour flight, that's not fun. It's exhausting traveling. But yeah, if you're just going, quick little flight. Well, when we go to Pittsburgh in May,
Starting point is 00:12:35 that's like a two and a half hour trip. Right. Straight through. Oh, Charleston, South Carolina. I was gonna say another, South Carolina would be easy. Yes. Savannah, Georgia is another one. Yeah, like Outer Banks.
Starting point is 00:12:46 We could just get on the Legion right there. Hi. We need to think about this. OK. Portsmouth, that was a super cute old town. Yeah, that's super cute. It's a little further, but still not a bad flight. It's direct.
Starting point is 00:13:00 I know. So many opportunities, so many options. Oh, Talia would be so happy to see the world Tell ya but the Americas We gotta talk about this. Okay. This is very interesting. I didn't know anything about that I just started seeing somebody do it. That's very interesting Did you hear about the people who were on a cruise? They didn't want to live in a retirement home. So they've been cruising all year round They literally get off of one cruise
Starting point is 00:13:25 and then they hop on the next in the same port. Like they're just moving from one cruise to the next. And so literally they never, it's like living in a retirement home, but obviously with all the amenities, way better flipping food. Right, right. Yeah, and those retirement homes,
Starting point is 00:13:45 if you go to like, there's a nice one up near Boston that my parents or grandparents stayed at, they are so expensive. A cruise is way cheaper. They save way more money. Yeah, yeah. Isn't that crazy? All your meals are.
Starting point is 00:13:55 Everything. All your drinks, meals. Entertainment. Yep, yep. Exercise, the whole thing. True. Like they're like, this is the greatest thing. And apparently it's becoming quite popular.
Starting point is 00:14:05 Oh, okay. Yeah, people are like catching onto this and it's becoming popular for people who don't wanna like, well, you think about it, you have medical care on the ship constantly. True, true. They don't wanna have to have somebody live with them. They don't wanna have to fix their meals
Starting point is 00:14:23 because they can't, some of them can't. Like it's a perfect setup. And you can keep moving, move your body, but also you can just chill. Sit down on the pool deck. Guys, I want you to be really disciplined. You know what I mean? Just let yourself go at that point.
Starting point is 00:14:36 All those buffets. Just let yourself go. Oh my gosh. You're like 70 at that point. Well, I think if you know that you can always get it, eventually you're like, mm-hmm. It's very true. Yeah, cause it's not a novelty to you.
Starting point is 00:14:50 Like I have to do this now because once I get off this boat, I go back to normal. Well, then that is normal. Right, true. Isn't that interesting though? When I saw that I was like, that's flipping smart that that couple did it. They're saving money.
Starting point is 00:15:03 Yeah, yeah. Sold their house and now just cruise. Yeah, you sell your house, right? Yeah. I saw it. It's called In-N-Out. It is In-N-Out? Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:12 In-N-Out. In-N-Out Trips. In-N-Out Trips. Interesting. Yep. Okay. Let's go to the first question. Let's do it.
Starting point is 00:15:21 Somebody's gotta work at some point. That's what you pay us the big bucks for. True. Actually, this is free. This is all free. Somebody has to do it though. We think we're just smart enough to do it. So we are going to talk about spiritual dreams.
Starting point is 00:15:36 Are they real? And what is a spiritual dream? So we started talking about this on Wednesday. For those of you that were watching, I'm not gonna go into great detail. For those of you who didn't watch,'m not gonna go into great detail. For those of you who didn't watch, I'm gonna catch you up really fast. So basically there are regular dreams that people have
Starting point is 00:15:54 that, you know, a lot of people, like we talked about on Wednesday, a lot of people don't even know they're dreaming. Like I wake up every day and I'm like empty inside, right? I don't remember anything, but everybody dreams. Everybody dreams and a lot of people don't remember them. Spiritual dreams are way different. You're gonna remember them
Starting point is 00:16:15 because they're gonna have significance. And like Vanessa said, when she's had her spiritual dreams, she knew they were significant because her heart was pounding out of her chest. She only had a couple. Or how many have you had? Three her chest. She only had a couple. Or how many have you had? Three.
Starting point is 00:16:26 Three. I've had a couple. I think everybody said they pretty much have had one except for Tracy. No, I haven't. Cause I was like, maybe I have. And then you guys are like, no, you haven't. No, you would not.
Starting point is 00:16:35 Like, but Tracy, I mean, Talia, you said you did, right? Yeah, she did. Yeah, that's what I thought. I was like, Tracy's the only one that did it. Norma did too. Norma did. Norma's had a couple or a few actually. So, but you know that you know you've had one.
Starting point is 00:16:48 So, because it's way different than just a regular dream. And like I said, everybody dreams and the best dreams they say, or you usually are having dreams that are, you're usually dreaming what is called during REM sleep, which is rapid eye movement, which I think they said happens between 11 and two in the morning, something like that.
Starting point is 00:17:14 But they also say, they also say your best sleep, everybody should sleep or purpose to sleep between 11 and two because 11 and two is when you get, are in your deepest sleep. You miss that time? You're screwed. Pretty much. What time did I go to bed last night? Two o'clock.
Starting point is 00:17:35 Hope. Yeah. I like, oh my gosh, crazy. What do you stay up doing? Well, I didn't do that, but I'm just saying, what do I stay up and do? Cause I was like, I'm not saying anything. So they're thinking I'm did that.
Starting point is 00:17:50 Not last night. No, I'm not here. But let's see. I was working. I was, I, well, I get home from Tom's podcast at like, last night was 1130. Okay, that makes sense. So there's the winding down from the screaming man
Starting point is 00:18:08 and then like from him yelling on his podcast. Although he has his voices out. So like he can't do everything. Like he doesn't, cause he starts coughing. But if I start looking at something, I'm done because it's hard for me to shut it off cause I start thinking while I start looking at something, I'm done, because it's hard for me to shut it off because I start thinking while I'm looking at this or studying something, or I just can't turn it off sometimes.
Starting point is 00:18:33 Yeah. And especially if you come home late like that, you're already geared up, you're in your second wind. True. So I was like, when I finally went to bed at two, I'm like, six is gonna come real quick. And it did. Then I fell back asleep.
Starting point is 00:18:51 I got up, did what I had to do. It's like, I'm going back to sleep until seven. That's good. So, but let me move to where I wanted to start. So spiritual dreams are in the Bible. But let me move to where I wanted to start. So spiritual dreams are in the Bible. A lot of people think, I know there's like, if you look at other, like we're gonna talk about the Christian spiritual dreams,
Starting point is 00:19:15 cause all, like there's a lot of religions that actually believe they have spiritual dreams. Did you guys know that? Yes. I did not. Different religions. Different religions. Think like they have spiritual dreams. I did not. Different religions. Yes. Different religions.
Starting point is 00:19:26 I think like they have spiritual dreams. Like new age. What? They're hearing from their God. How did you know that? Because like the new age people talk about like, like angel numbers and dreaming and then all that kind of stuff.
Starting point is 00:19:38 And manifestation. And that they have the, there are people that talk about like going like aliens, like they literally go to sleep and they're actually physically transported to these places like inside a moon, they went inside the moon and it's during their dream state. But they actually go.
Starting point is 00:19:54 Where did you see this on TikTok? Yes. I knew it. That's for you guys. Oh my gosh. But also before that, I've heard of other people like when I was like looking looking into the new age stuff and what do they believe and that stuff,
Starting point is 00:20:07 they do weird, I'm not even gonna get into it. They get into really gross stuff too. But there's this new thing where they eat specific mushrooms now. Right, right. And put themselves in a state to have these visions. Psychedelic dreams. Yes, and they think that they're real.
Starting point is 00:20:24 And I'm like, but you just ate something that makes your brain not, like what? That's weird. It is crazy. Your husband said they're on mushrooms before I even said that. Right, exactly. Yes, thank you, Jer. You know, you know what's up.
Starting point is 00:20:36 Wow, okay, I didn't know that other religions had them. Cause everybody thinks Christians that have spiritual dreams are like, we're quirky, we're weird. But if other religions are doing it, then how weird can we really be? Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, they just, yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:49 Probably not that weird. Because if everybody's doing it, can't be wrong. Everybody's doing it. Right. It's just a counterfeit of what the real thing is. There you go, girl. As usual, just the counterfeit. So in the Bible, the spiritual definition for dreams is the
Starting point is 00:21:09 scripture declares that the influence of the Spirit of God upon the soul extends to its sleeping as well as its waking thoughts. So visions, people, there are visions in the Bible and then there are dreams. They're two different things. Visions are considered while you're awake and then dreams are while you're asleep. Let's find out who dreamed dreams. So when I say it's biblical, it's because it's in the Bible. It actually happened. It happened, it occurred, and so therefore,
Starting point is 00:21:40 it must be real, right? Yeah. Yeah. So tell me if you guys remember anything. I mean, if I miss one, tell me just in case I miss one. Okay, so Pilots wife, remember when, what are you guys laughing at? Nothing.
Starting point is 00:21:55 I was gonna ask you at LGBT. Go ahead. We are. Just in case. We are. Don't worry, we got your back. Cause I looked this up and where I looked it up might not have had it all of it.
Starting point is 00:22:11 Cause I didn't want to miss any bit. Not every place that you go online does it get all of them. I was like, well, we'll figure it out. Huh? Chat GPT might not. I mean, it's frightening, but. We'll see. So there's Pilate's wife when Jesus was being crucified
Starting point is 00:22:28 and she had the nightmare and she told, I wanna say it was Potiphar, right? Wasn't it Potiphar that she told to not do? Pilate, God, I'm like Potiphar doesn't sound right. What is Potiphar? Potiphar is also something. Wasn't it part of Jesus is Christian? But it was pilot. But it was pilot. But Potiphar also means something too. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:54 Potiphar's wife. Was it Potiphar's wife? She was stricken with illness. I don't know, but Vanessa nailed it because it was pilot for sure. So I just said pilot's wife. I know. I didn't give that, you didn't think that for yourself. I'm giving you props and that was what I said, dang it. It was me and I just was reading your notes.
Starting point is 00:23:15 I just said pilot's wife. Seriously, I'm having one of these. She's being very aggressive right now. Such a blind. Poor Vanessa is just trying to help you out over here and just looking. And I'm like, pilot's wife. Vanessa's so sweet.
Starting point is 00:23:28 She wasn't like, I didn't say that. No, I was going to take it. I was going to take it. She was going to take it right in the chin. Always. I was really going to just take it. You know why? Your shoulders can handle it.
Starting point is 00:23:39 You got big shoulders. You can handle it. Do you know who I'm married to, guys? True. Yeah, you're married to me. True. A version of you, that's for sure? True. Yeah, you're married to me. True. A version of you, that's for sure. Yeah, true.
Starting point is 00:23:47 That's right, the man version. True, true. You can handle it all. That means you could handle me if he leaves. Look at that. That's why I keep like sticking around. I'm telling you right now, you have to be the woman in any homosexual relationship.
Starting point is 00:24:00 I would have to be. You can not be the man. I don't want to be. No, I know. Like you in jail, we say this all the time, but you in jail, you are gonna be somebody's, you know what, as soon as you walk into that place, they're like, she's mine.
Starting point is 00:24:14 And you're gonna be like, okay. Literally. I'm telling her eyes, whatever it takes to survive. And then she like snaps. And then everybody stays away from her. Oh yeah. And then she's by herself. Then she's blacking out and she's going berserko.
Starting point is 00:24:26 Yes, yes. She's gonna black out. Yes. Everybody's dead. She's never gonna remember what she did. No. And then everybody stays away from her. No friends.
Starting point is 00:24:38 Is there gonna be like one eye open while they're sleeping? Literally. That one's crazy. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Okay. So Pilate's wife. Pilate's wife, yep. Has a dream about not crucifying Jesus and she warns him, don't have anything to do with this.
Starting point is 00:24:56 Yep. Then there's the wise men and the wise men were warned not to go back. Was that Potiphar? No? Or is it Pharaoh? No, Pharaoh. Pharaoh.
Starting point is 00:25:13 It's a P, I know it's a P. Then there's Joseph, which was Jesus' stepfather. And he had two dreams, one to marry Mary, when he found out she was pregnant and not to divorce her. And then the second dream he had was to leave and go to Nazareth, I think is what it says. He was warned about Herod, and he was warned to go to Nazareth.
Starting point is 00:25:37 I'm pretty sure it was Nazareth. Yeah, it was Nazareth. Cause that's how Jesus would say, it was said so that he would be a Nazarene. Then Paul, he had a dream where a man told him to go to Macedonia. And then there's Peter, when the sheet was lowered with the animals and he was told that all meat was good.
Starting point is 00:26:02 So everything was good, which was pertaining to the Gentiles. The Gentiles were to be engrafted in. So it wasn't that Jesus wasn't only didn't only come for the Jew, but he also came for the Gentile. Are you following along? Do you have all these so far? I have where Joseph had four dreams. Oh, okay. Joseph the father? Yeah. Okay. What was the other two? An angel appeared in a dream telling him not to fear taking Mary as his wife.
Starting point is 00:26:32 Yeah. An angel warned him in a dream to flee to Egypt with Mary. Oh, it was Egypt. It wasn't Nazareth. Nazareth. Oh, that's right. Okay. Another dream, an angel told him it was safe to return to Israel after Herod's death. That's right. Okay. Another dream, an angel told him it was safe to return to Israel after Herod's death. That's true. I remember that.
Starting point is 00:26:51 And then a fourth dream where he was warned in a dream not to settle in Judea. So he went to Galilee and stuff. I don't remember that one. I don't remember that. And that's in Matthew 2.22. Isn't that interesting? He had lots of dreams.
Starting point is 00:27:07 It just goes to show you some of us got it and some of us don't. I don't have it. I don't have the dreams. But if you're doing something for the Lord, which apparently I'm not, he'll be giving you dreams. Right. So Tracy's out.
Starting point is 00:27:19 I'm out. She's got none. I already told TikTok I might have to rededicate my life to the Lord after this. Everybody's questioning me. Oh my gosh. Yeah, well, we can get you saved after we're done. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:27:32 So then there's John the Beloved. Now it's controversial. I say it was a vision, but some people say it was a dream, the book of Revelation. Yep. Okay. Yep. People don't know which say it was a dream, the book of Revelation. Yep. Okay. People don't know which one it was because it was so real,
Starting point is 00:27:50 but dreams can be real. Like I think it was a dream. I don't think it, I mean, excuse me. I think it was a vision. I don't think it was a dream that he had. What do you think it was? I think every time I thought of it, I thought of it as if it was a vision and not a dream. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:05 But there was no thought, there was no reason behind it. Yeah, me either. But I guess, cause like, maybe I haven't had one. I'm like, that's a lot of information from a dream. Yeah. And people tell me their visions versus now that I'm thinking about it, when you guys told me your dreams, they weren't,
Starting point is 00:28:21 like there was detail, but there wasn't a lot. Like yours wasn't super long. And when people tell me visions it's like like it's so much information yeah at least that then I've only heard a few different people so that's you know that is true okay uh-huh I'm tracking okay oh my gosh okay all right all right okay so not to get off on something. Oh, Potiphar's, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:28:47 Potiphar's wife tried to hook up with Joseph. That's what it was. Whoever told you that. That was- God bless you. That was Jer. Thank you, Jer. Cause that was bothering my brain. I'm like, I know.
Starting point is 00:28:59 Oh my gosh. I'm like, who is Potiphar? I know he's in there. Yeah, I know. What is he doing? An Egyptian official. He was a captain of the Pharaoh's guards. Yeah, he picked Joseph right up when he came in as a slave.
Starting point is 00:29:13 Thank you, Jare. I can't believe you know that. He probably had G.B.T. He probably did. Or he's just studying that. Oh, maybe I read it. He just read it. Did he just read that, Jare? I don't know. He knows Old Testament stuff. He is an Old Testament guy. He just read it. He just read it. Did he just read that Jare?
Starting point is 00:29:25 I don't know, he knows Old Testament stuff. He is an Old Testament guy. He's gonna kill us. Then there is, okay, so let's look at the book of visions. Let's look at the visions. Now, and then we're gonna go into other things. So Joseph had a dream about his brothers and his father and then bowing to him, remember that?
Starting point is 00:29:49 And then they got ticked off at him. Even his dad got ticked off at him. Then there was the butler and the baker, they had dreams. Remember the butler and the baker where Joseph, they didn't know what it meant. You don't remember the butler and the baker? Joseph, the same? Imprisoned by Joseph, both had dreams that Joseph entered.
Starting point is 00:30:09 Yeah. Yeah, I remember that, because AI just told me. The butler and, no, none of this rings a bell. You know how many times I've read Genesis 7,000 times? This wasn't important yet, guys. The Lord wanted to show me this next time I read Genesis. I can't believe you don't know that though.
Starting point is 00:30:25 You know how many times I read Genesis? Actually, maybe I always stop at 39. This is Genesis 40. Maybe you stop at 39. And I get bored and I go somewhere else. I love the New Testament. That's where you live. I live in both.
Starting point is 00:30:39 Or Genesis. But apparently I don't remember who Potiphar is. I know the name. I just caniphar is. I know the name. I just can't place them. I know the face. Don't know it. So let's see. Then there was Pharaoh that Joseph,
Starting point is 00:30:55 that Pharaoh had dreams with Joseph. So all these people are with Joseph, which is for people who aren't really familiar with what we're talking about, like Joseph and the technicolor dream coat. Joseph, like if you look, the Prince of Egypt, that Joseph. A lot of people know those movies. Then we go to Daniel and Daniel had the four beasts.
Starting point is 00:31:19 He had, King Nebuchadnezzar had two dreams and he interpreted those. Then there was a Midianite soldier who went up against, who was going up against Gideon. And in that dream, he dreamed that they were gonna lose and they overheard that. Do you remember, do you know what I'm talking about? Yep.
Starting point is 00:31:44 Then, so you have dreams, you have visions, and then there's those who interpret them. And what I'm telling you all of this is, see, everybody always focuses on their walk with certain things, but don't be afraid to dream dreams and then learn how to interpret them. Right. Because there are, I know people who do dream dreams.
Starting point is 00:32:05 And they come to me and they'll like actually come to pass. Or when they tell me about them, I'm like, what the what? And or they'll give me something like, like just last week, two people gave me a word. They felt like they had to stop what they were doing and that the Lord wanted them to tell me a specific thing. One gave it to me on a Thursday, the next one gave it to me on a Friday
Starting point is 00:32:29 and they were both the same thing. That's my thing. And both of them said, I can't do anything else until I tell you this, that the Lord will not let me do anything else until I reach out to you and then just share this with you. So, or I'm paraphrasing, but that's pretty much what they said. And both of them, same exact,
Starting point is 00:32:52 to down to the name of the person. Crazy, I love it. That's God. I love that. I love that too. It's down, like, it's crazy. So, don't be afraid to walk in your spiritual gifts and things like that that God has for you.
Starting point is 00:33:09 And listen, some people don't even think about that as far as like, it's not really a gift that's listed in the gifts, but interpretations are, but like when you dream and stuff like that, you can use that for the Lord. He might be having you dream something. I know somebody who dreams all the time. And it's about all different people, and until they know what the dream means, or what they think the dream might mean, or they feel like they're supposed to go to tell the person what the dream is and they might not know the meaning, they don't do anything with it. But they dream a lot.
Starting point is 00:33:48 And like, don't shut that stuff down. Try and figure it out. When you start seeing aliens, we need to talk. Are you in the moon? Yes, but if it's all biblical, then let's experiment with that and see what that, what God might be doing. So, but then you have to be able to interpret them.
Starting point is 00:34:11 You can't just like, what's the point in having a dream if you don't understand it? Now that might happen, but it should happen less and then more than it does. So, let's see, Joseph and Daniel were great interpreters because Joseph interpreted the butler, the baker and Pharaoh. And then that's how he got elevated into being second in command
Starting point is 00:34:32 when Egypt was going through famine. And then there's Daniel with King Nebuchadnezzar and he interpreted two different dreams for him. And one of them was really bad because it basically said that he was gonna be eating grass and living like a wild animal and his nails would grow. And it all happened. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:50 So, how do you interpret them? A lot of people are like, great, I've had a dream. I don't know what it means. Let me tell you, this is one of the ways that you can find out if you dream a spiritual dream or if somebody gives you a spiritual dream. Somebody just gave me a dream that they had and it was for me and I'm like, okay, well,
Starting point is 00:35:15 I'm going to write it down. So this is what you should do. If you have a dream or somebody gives you a dream and don't take anybody's just anybody's dream and don't let anybody just speak into your life. Cause it's weird enough for people to give you a word from the Lord. That's weird enough. Okay. Or give you a dream that they had.
Starting point is 00:35:35 Okay. So don't make it weirder by listening to every Tom, Dick and Harry who is half cocked and you don't even know to trust them. Fair. Right. Only listen to people who you know have a good prayer life. They have a solid walk with God.
Starting point is 00:35:54 And like the two people that gave me the same exact word one day after the other, like the first time that person, the first person that wrote me about it, I was like, I trust this person. I mean, I literally know their walk with God and their prayer life. Then the second person reached out to me,
Starting point is 00:36:16 I was like, I can listen to this person. Don't just, oh yay, somebody's giving me something God wants me to know, okay? Don't be like that. Because if you don't know them, they could be completely wrong. You got to know the people who are speaking into your life. It's very dangerous to do to not to just listen to somebody. If they're wrong, then and you listen to them, you might make the wrong decision because you are so happy
Starting point is 00:36:42 that somebody is giving you something. I mean, if people just want that so badly, but it's not good. So, okay. So how do you interpret a dream? I'm going to give you some suggestions. First of all, you write, so write all this down. So you're going to, um, when you get a dream, you're going to ask certain questions. Um, and I made a list. What was said in the dream?
Starting point is 00:37:07 So what was being said in the dream? What was the main focus of the dream? Who was in the dream? And this funny thing is the person that gave me the dream, they could tell me all this. And that's what they do. I mean, it's so funny that they paid attention to all these things. When they gave me, when they gave me the dream they literally gave me all this information. It was crazy. What did, what did they represent? So the people, what did they represent in the dream? Where did it take place in
Starting point is 00:37:46 the setting? The time period, was it past, present, or future? And what stood out? Colors, symbols, numbers. And then what were your emotions and feelings? When you were experiencing all, when you're having the dream, what were you experiencing in all these things? And if it wasn't you and somebody's giving you the dream, make sure you get all of these things from that person because that person literally could tell me all of those things, which is profound, which will help you maybe be able to understand it. Now, there are websites that you can go to
Starting point is 00:38:25 that'll tell you like, if there was a river in the dream, was the river doing this? Was the river doing that? Because it'll take you back to biblical situations maybe that may help you understand why you were having that dream. Was there trees? What kind of trees?
Starting point is 00:38:47 Cause trees represent something. There's all these things. I don't know how far I go into all of that. I'll be honest with you. I'm a big skeptic on a bunch of stuff. Everybody knows that. So, I mean, examine everything, be thought provoked about it,
Starting point is 00:39:06 but take your time and trying to figure it out because don't think you, I mean, I don't know how to explain it, but just make sure you pray over it. You have a peace about it and- Yeah, test the spirits. And it always, always, always has to line up with a word. If it does not, toss it out and throw it in the trash can
Starting point is 00:39:32 before your letter stray, because it has to line up with the word. So you guys, do you have anything you wanna add to that? No, I like that. I like that there's like steps. Like when you receive a word, ask these questions so that you can get more clarity on what the Lord wants to share with you. I like that. Yeah, because when I got that when I got that, when somebody gave me the dream, I literally didn't know to have those questions. But as I was looking at the list that they say,
Starting point is 00:40:05 to interpret a dream, and this came from a Christian website that is not specializes in it, but it basically is helping people so that they don't get led astray. Because people are crazy, man. Right, you are correct. So it's like, if it doesn't line up with this, it ain't right.
Starting point is 00:40:28 That's why, but when I started seeing the list, I was like, that's interesting because I know all this information. Yes. So just be, don't fall for everything and don't be anxious because somebody says they got something for you. Like be very weary of that.
Starting point is 00:40:48 Does anybody have anything else they wanna add? Also, doesn't it say in the last days, young people will have dreams? And so, like this is something to definitely like explore and like pray about it. Lord, I want to have dreams. I want to have visions. Those who ask shall receive, right?
Starting point is 00:41:10 So I want all that. Yep. If you're weird though, if you're weird. Be weird though. Don't be weird. Fix yourself on your weird-isms. Oh, old people, sorry. Old people will have dreams.
Starting point is 00:41:24 Oh, I thought it was young people. I thought it was young people too. Is that Jer telling us? Yeah, Jer is fact checking me. I think it's, I don't think it's old people. I think the young will dream dreams. I think that's what it is. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:37 But a lot of times here's the reason I say that. If you're weird and you know that people think you're weird, okay, fix being weird because no one's gonna to listen to you. Yeah. That's just the way it is. Nobody's going to listen to what a weirdy has to say. So Joel 2 28 says young men will see visions and your old men shall dream dreams.
Starting point is 00:41:57 There you go, Jer. You're right. Acts 2 17 says in the last days, God said, I will pour out my spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy and young men will see visions and your old men will dream dreams he was right because we said dreams we said the dream dreams not the vision part both way to go chair so smart such a youth pastor oh my you know what Jared you know what that means chair Naz even jumped on and said young people people will have visions, Jer is right.
Starting point is 00:42:27 No, it's old people will. No, young people will have visions. Oh, young people will see visions, yeah. God help me. You know what, Jer? I'm gonna get you hooked up tonight. I'm hooking you up tonight. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:42:37 With what? With what? With Blondie over there. Bra. That's your, you win the prize. You win. So, you're getting Bl. You win the prize. You win. So you're getting blondie for the night. Okay, he's so happy right now.
Starting point is 00:42:53 Let me just tell you, he is so happy right now. He's happy. He said sweet. I'm gonna let you have her. Starting point is 00:44:50 The next topic is procrastination. How many of you guys love procrastination? I hear crickets chirping. I don't love it, but I do it a lot. I love it. Are you both procrastinators? Oh my gosh. We need a sense of urgency. We do, and then. I love it. Are you post procrastinateers? Oh my gosh. We need a sense of urgency.
Starting point is 00:45:07 We do. And then we get it done. It's always done on time, but there has to be some urgency. It's gotten worse since I've had more. I don't see. I don't know if I consider like, okay. I've never really worked with Vanessa,
Starting point is 00:45:22 but Tracy, I don't feel like you're a procrastinator. I feel like you have a lot on your plate, so you're putting one fire out after the other. I don't necessarily feel like that. It's either I get it done now or seven to ten business days. Is that because? If I don't get it done like right this second and that's why I have to make notes. I have to like I have to list out levels of urgency. Like I have like 10 things I need to do, like right now. Yeah, okay. So here's my thing. Okay.
Starting point is 00:45:51 I don't find myself to be a pro, I'm no Heather. Like Heather hates having the list. Yeah, right. So she will take and get every, if you tell her something, it was done 10 minutes ago. Yeah. And you just told her now. Right.
Starting point is 00:46:04 Like in her mind, it needs to be done like 10 minutes ago. Okay, I'm not like that at all. But I am a person, I don't really, I don't think that I really procrastinate. It's just, you have so many things you have to do. So I'm prioritizing them. That's what I feel like you do. You prioritize or you forget.
Starting point is 00:46:22 But forgetting and procrastinating are two different things. But I hate doing certain things. Like there are certain jobs that I hate doing. Like having to micro and like, okay, for taxes, for example, like one of our, I had to go through and find like in 2022 and this day, this time. Oh yeah, I procrastinate on taxes. You're right about that.
Starting point is 00:46:43 And like, it's just like those micro things where you have to literally sit down, dig into all these different areas. You don't even know where to start. So you're like, I don't want to do that right now. Like that's the last thing I want to do. That reminds me, I got to do my 2023 on tomorrow. Me too.
Starting point is 00:46:55 Me too. Wait. And you say 2023? Yeah. I know. I'm not messing it up. It's 2023. Same. Taxes.
Starting point is 00:47:03 It's not 2024. That's what happens when your house gets blown away in a hurricane in 2022. Right. I mean, you can't file your taxes. True. Cause your house got blown away. True.
Starting point is 00:47:14 We have till May, don't we? May 1st. I know this. I keep getting these people calling me up and saying, you're back. I know. Like the taxes thing, I am a procrastinator. Because I don't want to pay them. I know. Right. I owe. So I'm like, you're back. I know, like the taxes thing, I am a procrastinator because I don't want to pay them.
Starting point is 00:47:26 I know. Right, right. I owe, so I'm like, you're not getting my money. I am sorry. Anytime sooner. But people keep calling me. You're behind on your taxes. I'm not behind on my taxes.
Starting point is 00:47:35 I'm not even going to owe anything because I'm late because I have a valid reason, but I'm like, quit calling me. I don't want to pay cause I don't wanna pay. Okay, so what's a procrastinator? A procrastinator is a person that will put off a job as long as they possibly can in order not to do it. A procrastinator is somebody like, for example,
Starting point is 00:47:57 we live with a lot of people who are procrastinators in our homes, right? People who don't like to clean. So they'll put off cleaning. People who don't wanna go out and garden, like weed the garden, weed the landscaping. They procrastinate it. People who start jobs, like if you have a, like this is famous when I was growing up, my dad could fix anything. He'd start the job. He would never finish the job because it was no longer fun. Starting it was fun, ending it not so much.
Starting point is 00:48:27 So he would procrastinate. I hate it. It like, I literally hate procrastination almost as much as quitting. Not as much, almost as much. I hate quitting. So literally procrastination to me, I mean, listen, if anybody wants to procrastinate
Starting point is 00:48:52 cause of taxes, you have my approval. But outside of that, I'm like pretty much, please just do it. I mean, I do stuff all the time that I absolutely positively hate. Like not knowing how to do something, a lot of people will procrastinate cause they don't know how to do it.
Starting point is 00:49:07 So it's just way easier to just keep putting it off. But you know what? You're eventually gonna have to do it. So just do it. And nine out of 10 times, once you do it, it's not a big deal and it's done very quickly. And then you're like, why did I wait to do this? This reminds me of something on TikTok.
Starting point is 00:49:23 Some girls doing a new series. Listen, no, no, somebody's doing a new series and it's like, how long did I wait to do this? This reminds me of something on TikTok. Some girls doing a new series. Listen, no, no, somebody's doing a new series and it's like, how long does it take to do this job that I've put on for two and a half years? And so she didn't wanna clean the bottom of her pantry. So she times herself and it took her like 27 minutes and she left it for two and a half years. Two and a half years.
Starting point is 00:49:39 So I'm like- I do a procrastinating on painting. I have to finish painting my bathrooms and stuff. That is true, I didn't. So you can do a TikTok and just see how long it takes you. And I need motivation. I need somebody to motivate me. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:52 There has to be like a price. Sense of urgency. Yeah, sense of urgency. See, this is where Heather comes in. Okay, because here's the thing. Heather loves this crap. I know. I mean, she genuinely loves this crap. I know. I mean, she genuinely loves this crap.
Starting point is 00:50:08 How? And she, it's her love language. I don't know. Like, God bless. Like, if I have anything that I need, she's a blessing man, cause living right across from me. You know what I do, I am married to a virgin of that.
Starting point is 00:50:20 Like if I, he gets it done. Gets my dad. It's my dad. All the time. And then he gets frustrated with me because I don't move as quickly as he does on things. Yeah. I mean, that does, I think it frustrates Heather, but she's too, she usually gets really nice about it,
Starting point is 00:50:36 but usually, not always. He's nice to me too because. Yeah, normally, yeah, normally she is, but then you push her, and she's coming for you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. True. So, but she, like literally, if I have a task, and it might be because it's like she's my kid, but if I have a task, she's always like,
Starting point is 00:50:59 I'll help you with that. I'm telling you, Tracy, if you said to her that there was something you literally didn't wanna do that you hated and you needed just that, she'd be like, I'll do it with ya. She genuinely would love it. I've taught, I know, I've talked to her about many things, but then I got, now, like most of them are work related,
Starting point is 00:51:17 like not here. Oh yeah, then you can't do nothing. But I have, now I have people. I have my two girls that do help me. And so, and Naz used to be my girl and she was like, I would wanna take Naz and be like, I love you so much. Like I'd make her come over on Wednesday and cook her vegan food.
Starting point is 00:51:32 And I didn't know how to do it, cause I loved her so much. I still do love you so much, Naz. But I was like, please, let me just make you whatever you need. Cause she was such a great helper. Like she just got things done. The best.
Starting point is 00:51:44 But she is like that. She's like a yesterday person too. she did, she just got things done. The best. But she is like that. She's like a yesterday person too. She is, she is. And she doesn't take no for an answer, which I love. Oh, I know. You need those people. Everybody needs those people, but everybody needs to not be a procrastinator.
Starting point is 00:51:57 There's nothing good about it. I know, there isn't. Not a daggum thing. And like you said, like when you get it done, you're like, oh, that wasn't that bad. So you have to remember that. Well, I didn't say that, Vanessa did. But it is true. And you said, like when you get it done, you're like, oh, that wasn't that bad. So you have to remember that. Well, I didn't say that, Vanessa did, but it is true. And you said that.
Starting point is 00:52:08 And your brain, you just need to be like, remember last time? You need to create a whole pathway. Yeah. In your brain. It is, because it's like, yeah. It should be like the minimal, like being a procrastinator should just be such a small,
Starting point is 00:52:25 like there's only like two projects that you've procrastinated on. But a lot of times people, it's their whole life. It's everything. They procrastinate everything. Everything. I mean, there are some things in life you're gonna just have to wait on.
Starting point is 00:52:42 Or I mean, I'm not saying that, I mean, I literally hate it, but in reality, there are things that you just put off. But when it's everything that you do, and there are some people that are procrastinators, like there are some people that are hoarders. Their whole house is a mess, and the procrastinator is, their whole life's a mess because everything's procrastinating. Just flip and do it. But if you think about it,
Starting point is 00:53:09 there are people who, so in your personal life you can procrastinate and then there in your business you can procrastinate. And here's the thing, when you procrastinate on your job, you're keeping yourself so that you don't go to higher levels and higher positions. Even more importantly, the respect of your fellow co-workers goes right down the toilet as well because they can't rely on you to get the job done. And like everybody does something they don't want to do. Everybody. Just flip and do it. If you don't know how to do it, listen. When the hurricanes came through, I use this as to do it, listen, when the hurricanes came through,
Starting point is 00:53:45 I use this as an example a lot, but when the hurricanes came through and they destroyed this building to the tune of $4 million in my house to almost 300,000, I had never ever filed an insurance claim. I didn't even know where to begin. Right.
Starting point is 00:54:03 Okay, but, I mean, we're still, we had to file a lawsuit on both things. Like I didn't know what I was doing. And I asked people, I'm like, have you ever done this before? Trusted people that I know are like, nope, never have. I'm like, okay, I guess I'm gonna have to roll my sleeves up and figure this thing out.
Starting point is 00:54:22 I did not want to. Because the thing is, is there's intimidation there and I get it. Sometimes when you don't know what you're doing, you're intimidated because what if I do it wrong? But the thing is, is if you don't do it, it's as bad as getting it wrong because you're not doing it. So it'd be better for you to potentially get it right than you to do nothing because that's the same as getting it wrong because you're not doing it. So it'd be better for you to potentially get it right
Starting point is 00:54:45 than you to do nothing because that's the same as getting it wrong. Does that make sense? It's not fun, but it's a must. You have to do it. Why do people procrastinate? There are many reasons, but I think the biggest two that I find people procrastinate on, worldly wise is being lazy, and I hate laziness, being lazy and then intimidation. Those two things, can you think of other reasons why? No, lazy, yeah, cause you don't wanna, you just don't feel like dealing with it right now. Or you're like, well, if I could do it tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:55:24 So that's, yeah, that's a lazy thought process. If, for like, for example, me, if I can't be perfect at it from the jump, I will delay it. That's Kylie. But that's kind of like it being intimidated not to be able to. Yeah. So that falls under that.
Starting point is 00:55:41 Those are two good ones. Something happened to my screen over here. Maybe it might've stopped. Tell can you check? After like 30 minutes. Oh wow, okay. So that's the reasons why. But here's the thing,
Starting point is 00:55:56 I'm gonna give you two scriptures and then we're gonna move into the other side of this because the other side is way more important to me than just the lifestyle. Because lifestyle,, I mean everybody can just deal with. Spiritual procrastination though, there's life and death in that and that's super important. So Proverbs 12 24 in the New Living Translation, which I love how it says this, is work hard and become a leader, be lazy and become a slave." So procrastination is not so great. Proverbs 18, 9 says, a lazy person is as bad as someone who
Starting point is 00:56:32 destroys things. So it's not good, but way more important than those two things. Like I can live with those two things. I mean, I hate them, but really they're not, at the end of the day, they don't really define a person completely. There's great people that have great character and morally are right, but they procrastinate. Okay, well, I take a morally good person with strong character
Starting point is 00:57:07 that procrastinated over a person that procrastinates and has none of the other things. Who cares? A big scheme of things, it really doesn't matter. Spiritual procrastination is something that all of us do. I don't know one person, not one person, including myself, that in some way spiritually does not procrastinate. And if you say that you don't, you really need to examine
Starting point is 00:57:29 yourself thoroughly. To the degree that you spiritually procrastinate is differing. But it's life and death for people. And I would say, since I only have two minutes to go, I would say this, here's a list of things people do that they procrastinate in. And like, I think it's like, see if you guys can add any more onto it. But I mean, these are like, these aren't good. Forgiving people.
Starting point is 00:58:05 People procrastinate in forgiving people. You understand that forgiving is not an option. In so much you forgive, you are forgiven. That's what the Bible says. So that's life and death. You better forgive. You don't have the choice of not forgiving. Like why would you procrastinate in that?
Starting point is 00:58:23 Right. That's not laziness. No. That's like wanting to harbor ill will and bitterness and anger towards somebody. That's only hurting you. It's the victim. For me, I don't get it.
Starting point is 00:58:36 I mean, there's pretty much, and people will say, well, you weren't raped. You don't have somebody who has murdered, all these different things. I've dealt with stuff, but the Bible doesn't say, here are the exceptions of not having to forgive somebody. The Lord knew all the worst to the easiest things to forgive, and He said, you must do it.
Starting point is 00:59:00 So like, it's not an option. No matter how much you justify or rationalize you being able to harbor ill will and unforgiveness towards somebody, that's not, there's no validity in it. So, but people procrastinate forgiving people all the time. True. Yep.
Starting point is 00:59:22 They get sick from it. Yeah. True. And they justify it. It's not good. Yeah true and they justify it It's not good yeah, it's not good no, I mean it really it's not good for you The other person's not even thinking about it to be honest with you right so just forgive them who cares Let it go. That's right. Live your best life like Tracy always says the best thing you can do to somebody who's hurt you or tries to cause harm
Starting point is 00:59:49 towards you or hate you, you know what the best thing you can do is live your best life. And then you know what Aaron says? Be successful. Yes. Yes. Yes. That's your best life. Keeping coals upon their heads is what Proverbs says.
Starting point is 01:00:05 When you are successful, that's exactly what they don't want you to be. They don't want you to be laughing. They don't want you to be like living life to its fullest. They want you to be right where they're at. And when you don't do that, that just irritates them all the more. Never, I say this all the time too,
Starting point is 01:00:27 never let anybody have authority over you. Like don't let anybody like control your emotions or your feelings. You control your emotions and your feelings. You know, I won't let anybody, nobody has that right. I like myself too much to give that to somebody, especially somebody who wants to hurt, harm, or belittle me.
Starting point is 01:00:51 They're not getting that from me, sorry. It's not happening. Sharing the gospel and winning the lost. People procrastinate on this. And there's reasons why you got family that needs to, when the door opens with them they need to hear about the Lord and you're either too intimidated to do it or so self-consumed that you don't. But that's life and death for people. There's no time for you to be spiritually
Starting point is 01:01:22 procrastinating. And if you come to this church we have every other Sunday no time for you to be spiritually procrastinating. And if you come to this church, we have every other Sunday an opportunity for you to get out there. And if you don't know what you're doing, you know what, that's okay, because we have somebody who will teach you. And then you'll go with somebody who'll,
Starting point is 01:01:37 you won't have to go by yourself. You know, we're not Mormons or anything like that. So we're not like knocking on doors and things like that. But we do go out there and make sure people know that Jesus loves them. And like if they have something in their life that they need to be prayed over, I mean, they just, somebody just, uh, I don't know if they, um, I don't know if this has been told, but a group went out and they prayed for some people and this person had been having pain. I don't even know how long in their body. I think it was their shoulder and they literally couldn't take it anymore.
Starting point is 01:02:10 Like mentally they couldn't take it because the pain was so, so bad. They so some of our team ended up saying, well, we'll pray with you about that. Do you want us to pray for it? They said, sure. And they wrote the church and said, I don't know who these people are. They said they go to your church. They were out in this area on this day. They prayed for me, went home.
Starting point is 01:02:35 I think they took a nap or something. Shortly thereafter, no pain and hasn't returned. That's what it's all about. But if you don't ever get out there and do it, right? Yeah. Like get your big boy and big girl panties on. Be about something. Quit procrastinating. Yeah. People hearing the good news. So somebody shares the love of the Lord with you, right? And you're like, I'll think about it, I'll do it tomorrow. That's procrastination. If you hear something that penetrates your heart and you know like, I'm interested in that, don't delay.
Starting point is 01:03:18 Don't procrastinate on that because you're not promised tomorrow. And you might wish that you had because we aren't promised tomorrow. If you're not under the covenant, then wish that you had. Because we aren't promised tomorrow. If you're not under the covenant, then you don't get a promise of it. So you might want to think about when somebody like shares the good news with you about Jesus Christ, you might want to receive him and then know that you have an eternity awaiting for you in heaven
Starting point is 01:03:45 instead of saying, maybe I'll do that tomorrow and the next day and before you know it, days have passed and you've not made that commitment and who knows if you ever will. Super important, don't procrastinate on that. I will tell you this, I've told this story and I'm ashamed to say, cause it's something that I have to live with
Starting point is 01:04:02 for the rest of my life. And I really, I cannot tell you how often I think of this. I don't beat myself up over it, but it's something that I wish I could do differently. We had when we had our pool built, the guy that was building our pool, he was, he was in new age. And so we would share, I would share him about, I would share with him about my Christianity and my walk with the Lord and what that looked like and he would share with me about his new age and all the angels and stuff. And he had gotten done with our pool but we would still see him, he would treat our pool
Starting point is 01:04:43 and things like that. And he had stopped, he became less frequent in coming. And so I started kind of taking care of the pool myself. Well, I remember praying in my prayer time or just something, I just sent something one day. It was like, give that guy a call. The Lord gave me his name, give him a call. And I was like, yeah, I'll probably do that later. And then the next day, I think it was the next day,
Starting point is 01:05:13 the Lord was like, give him a call. It's like, okay, okay, okay. I never did. And it was shortly thereafter, I found out he had committed suicide. And I thought to myself, the Lord was telling me to call him because I might've been the very thing that could have changed everything around for him.
Starting point is 01:05:34 And I did not. And so it breaks my heart that like, and I witnessed to that guy over and over and over again. And he really liked me and Tom. I mean, he would come and he would hang out and stay with us and just visit and chat. And I just, I live with that regret because I'm like, because Tracy, you tell the story of somebody who did do it.
Starting point is 01:05:57 So tell that story, because when you do do it, tell the story about the person that was calling. Do you remember you just told, I think you recently told me, somebody called somebody and they saved them from committing suicide? Yes, because I have another one. I have a similar situation with you. I was reaching out to her.
Starting point is 01:06:16 She lived in Northport, and then she never came. She was going to come here so many times, and she never did, and she ended up committing suicide. And that one was like, she was right here from Massachusetts. So disappointing. But yeah, somebody I know was not doing well, and he was into drugs and alcohol and all kinds of stuff, very hard stuff.
Starting point is 01:06:37 And he was done. He got his heart broken, and he was done. And he was ready to be like done, done. And he was about to be like, done, done. And he was about to do it. And then somebody called him and interrupted him before he did it and saved his life. And he's like, I don't know why I'm calling you, but I just was checking on you, seeing how you're doing.
Starting point is 01:06:57 And like only God could do. Don't procrastinate. And he's radically sold out at this point. Like he knows like there is no, like you can't even make sense of that at that point. Well, one of our friends that's a pastor up in Baltimore and like he has a pretty good sized church and everything, but he was into drugs and alcohol.
Starting point is 01:07:23 I mean, he looks like opposite of what you would see a pastor tatted from head to toe. Yeah. Gosh, he's a great guy. But he was about to commit suicide and somebody called him just at the right time and it stopped him. That phone call got him to go to church
Starting point is 01:07:43 and radically changed his life. Don't procrastinate. I mean, you can procrastinate in your job got him to go to church and erratically changed his life. Don't procrastinate. I mean, you can procrastinate in your job and with your family. But spiritually speaking, you can't. It could be the difference between somebody being healed from sickness,
Starting point is 01:08:00 like a common cold, you could pray over somebody. I mean, when Jesus went in and prayed for Peter's mother-in-law, she had a fever, guys. It wasn't like she was dying. But she had a fever. He prayed for her. She got up immediately and started fixing the meal. Now, if you had a fever, you'd be like,
Starting point is 01:08:16 thank God somebody prayed for me. And most of us just go, it's just a fever. Like you have the fever. I know, thank you. And see, if you wouldn't appreciate it, sure it was just the fever. I know, thank you. And see if you wouldn't appreciate it. Sure it was just a fever, but to her it was a matter of laying down or getting up. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:33 And that's what we have the opportunity for. So here's the thing people procrastinate in. You procrastinate in your prayer time, praying. Most people don't pray. They are like, I can do that tomorrow. They go, I'll do that in the morning when I wake up. The whole day goes by. I'll do that when I go just before I go to bed. And by the time they get ready for bed, they're exhausted and they can't even spend time in the Bible or pray. Procrastination. And before you know
Starting point is 01:08:58 it, days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months and months turn into years. And you haven't cracked that sucker open. You haven't even spoken to the Lord. So are you really saved? I don't know. I mean, the Bible says we'll know them by our fruit. So people procrastinate and worship. They don't even really worship. They don't really even sing. And the Bible says, if we don't worship Him, the rocks will, because how have the rocks do it for Him, in spite of us, right? Who wants that? And the last thing people procrastinate is getting involved, like volunteering in whatever capacity the Lord's telling you to do it. From a retirement home to doing it in the church,
Starting point is 01:09:45 to going to a school and just ministering or teaching tutoring kids, and that'll open the door for you to share the gospel to a child. There are so many ways that the Lord has gifted and given you talents so that you can use them for Him. It doesn't have to be in the four walls of a church. It can be out and about into the community where you can be something of a light, a lighthouse if you will. And that lighthouse will draw men. And then you will have the opportunity to win the loss, to talk about Jesus, to pray with people, to heal people, to be him in the physical, tangible body. That's our job. So stop the procrastination and be about His work. That's the most important thing. Ladies, do you want to add?
Starting point is 01:10:32 Yeah. In James 4.17, it says, if anyone then knows the good they ought to do and doesn't do it, it is sin for them. We are accountable. God has given us a task and he desires obedience. Those who love me obey me. So show them how much you love them by how much you obey
Starting point is 01:11:00 and do what he's called you to do. That's really the most important thing. And if he's calling you to do it, man, that means he trusts you, right? To do it. And that, yeah. That's huge. That is huge.
Starting point is 01:11:15 Trace? I agree. And I'm not gonna procrastinate anymore. I know. I'm gonna do my taxes. I'm not doing my taxes. Oh, I am doing my taxes probably tomorrow. I got most of them done. I do too. I'm doing do my taxes tomorrow. I'm not doing my taxes, I am doing my taxes probably tomorrow. I got most of them done.
Starting point is 01:11:26 I do too, I'm doing really good. And as you would be so proud of me. It's pretty horrible though. It is pretty horrible. I don't even wanna give them to the accountant cause I don't even wanna hear what it is. I know. And mine's the nitty gritty part of it.
Starting point is 01:11:40 Just too many. Do you not have a tax person? But you have to organize it all. Yeah, you have to organize it to give it to them. Right, I do. Vanessa, okay people. I know, I'm touched. I love you so much.
Starting point is 01:11:51 Vanessa just lives. She just exists. She does. She has a husband that does all her things. No, no, please. He does all the things. My mom would say the same. So do I, in my house.
Starting point is 01:12:03 Tom, Tom is a Vanessa. I mom would say the same. So do I in my house. Tom, Tom is Vanessa. Yeah. I didn't choose this life. Okay. This life chose me. Hey, listen, that ain't a bad life, sister. No, not at all. I'm talking from a place of I wish.
Starting point is 01:12:15 Mm-hmm. That's so funny. I'm happy for you. Me too. Me too. Tal, you got anything to add? No, that was great. Okay.
