Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome to the Hope Hotline and thank you for joining in with us on this beautiful, hot, steamy, like, Hades-driven Friday afternoon. Literally. I drove past a church and it said, pray for rain. Oh my gosh. I started praying. Yeah. I scoffed at it at first. I'm not going to lie to you. I was like, no, I thought, then I saw the crispy grass and I went, maybe that's not such a bad idea.
Starting point is 00:00:48 I know. It's common. So then I began to pray for rain. Okay. Then I thought about Elijah. Seeing that cloud. Yeah. You know how you can remember which one's first, Elijah or Elisha?
Starting point is 00:01:01 Everybody never can remember that. Including me until I learned this one trick. Do you know which one's first? No. You don't, right? Nobody can never remember it. I gotta fix my zipper. Do you know how I remember it? How? Because J comes before S.
Starting point is 00:01:17 So Elijah came first. There you go. Genius. Little trick. I went to one of those baby showers where you had to have trivia it was this trivia and it was all about the old testament characters listen i could have walked away with all three prizes because i learned those little tricks i learned like i like i like knowing facts yeah about i think that's why I love Perry Stone so much. Yeah. But I almost walked away with all three, and this preacher hated me. Like the preacher that was throwing the baby shower for this person.
Starting point is 00:01:52 Why? I had to go to another person's church to go to this baby shower because she came to my church, but her mama came to it. And this preacher hated my guts. Oh, my gosh. Oh, she did not like me. Why? And I almost walked away with all three prizes, but I was like, hold up. Wait a minute.
Starting point is 00:02:08 You're so humble. I was like, I'll only take two. I did. I took two. I was like, she hates my guts. I'll take two. I'll leave the third for somebody else. Oh my gosh, you're so sweet. So kind and caring. Yep.
Starting point is 00:02:23 I almost won the jelly bean one. I literally won it. But I was like, I'm not going to be so greedy. I walked about with my hands and my arms full. Nice. Did not feel a bit bad about it. You shouldn't. You won.
Starting point is 00:02:37 No. She made it. Listen. She made it abundantly clear. Yeah. I don't like you. Wow. For meeting me.
Starting point is 00:02:44 Wait. Was that your first time meeting her? Oh, yeah. That's wild. I know. Yeah, she made sure that I knew I don't like you. Wow. At least for me, it takes a while.
Starting point is 00:02:55 No, I'm joking. There's a lot of people that I don't like. Listen, there is some truth to when Tom says, I have no soul. Because I kind of laughed at it. Yeah. I was like, well, this is no soul. Because I kind of laughed at it. Yeah. I was like, well, this is kind of funny. I don't know you.
Starting point is 00:03:08 I know. But all right. This is kind of funny. And so you just kind of make, listen, it's like what Tracy says. And I think about this all the time, Tracy. Because I'm like, it's really so true. Live your best life. You be you.
Starting point is 00:03:23 Live your best life. You be you and live your best life. You be you and live your best life. Because seriously, like why? Why would I not? Right. And you're never gonna be able to control anybody else ever. So I was like, this lady hates me. That's pretty funny. Like I've never met you. I've not done one daggum thing to you. Right. I've never even spoken to her ever. Yes. And yet. It wasn't about you, Hope. Right. It was about her. That's what I was thinking.
Starting point is 00:03:47 Well, it's irrelevant. She was making sure. Yeah. But my thing is, is this. Like, who does that? People that have issues. A lot of people do it. Insecure people.
Starting point is 00:03:58 Insecure people. A lot of people. Yeah. That's probably. But a lot of people do it. Right. Yeah. Like.
Starting point is 00:04:02 People that aren't living their best lives. Right. Because they're sad and they see you winning and that doesn't make them happy. I really wasn't winning at the time. To be perfectly transparent. Wow, okay. She really didn't like you. Maybe it was the joy of the Lord. We were really no different than them
Starting point is 00:04:19 to a certain extent. I mean, we didn't have like... Some people, as god blesses yeah people become more and more like like mean they just like i don't know why it is yeah like they just say nasty things yeah and so, I mean, people have, even with, like, Tom has talked about how he was blessed with that Rolex. And do you know that people have said nasty stuff
Starting point is 00:04:51 about that Rolex? Yeah, there's a whole Instagram page. No, I'm talking about in this church. Yeah, no, I know. I know. I know. What? Oh, yeah. There's a whole Instagram page called Prophets and Watches.
Starting point is 00:05:07 And they post about it. And preachers with sneakers. Yeah, exactly. But like Jonathan and all of them, they comment on it all the time. Like, yeah, wow, I can't believe Rodney would wear something like that. And now they know the guy. But Rodney's most recent watch was given to him. And that's the thing. I believe it was the birthday present that a whole bunch of us two years ago
Starting point is 00:05:27 chipped in. I mean, it was a huge amount of people who came to his birthday party. Yeah. Yeah. And everybody, what they said is, um,
Starting point is 00:05:40 if this, if, if you really like, he's a watch guy. Yeah. So they were like, I mean, everybody can buy if they want something separate for him. But here, just if you really, like, he's a watch guy. Yeah. So they were like, I mean, everybody can buy
Starting point is 00:05:46 if they want something separate for him, but here, just so you know, we're all, a lot of us are going in on this gift. So if you want to be
Starting point is 00:05:52 a part of it, then just any, no dollar amount was required to give. It was whatever you could give and then you were,
Starting point is 00:06:02 then you were just a part of it. Yeah. So it wasn't like somebody who gave $25 compared to the person who gave the $1,000. It was all equal. Yeah. Right. I'm like, what's
Starting point is 00:06:13 up? I know. He gets hate for it. What's the big deal? For a birthday present. And he did not even buy it. And he didn't even buy it. I looked at that watch because I saw it. I looked at that watch and I was like, I think I helped buy that watch. Yep. I'm pretty sure I helped buy that watch. Oh, I love it because I saw it. I looked at that watch and I was like, I think I helped buy that watch. I'm pretty sure I helped buy that watch. Oh, I love it.
Starting point is 00:06:29 Whatever. And that man has given away so many watches. Oh, my gosh. I know. He literally, he told us a story. Okay, in his office, his office is like no other because it looks like you're in Africa. Because in his office, he has, he hunts. Now, what he does is he, like, hunts for trophy.
Starting point is 00:06:50 Right. But the food, but the animal is eaten. Yeah. If that makes sense. Yeah, it does. So it's not like he's killing to not eat. Right. But he's not taking it.
Starting point is 00:07:01 He doesn't live in Africa. So he ain't going to take that stuff home. Well, if you go up into his office, I just was just up there last week. And I was like, Adonica had bought him this tiger that he really wanted a tiger. And so there was one that was needing repair that this, what do they call those people that. Taxidermy. Taxidermy. It just escaped me. So this taxidermist had this tiger and so um they paid
Starting point is 00:07:27 to have it redone and so now he has that one up there so not all of them did he kill but most of them he has a huge elephant like the elephant is like unbelievable but i don't know why oh so he was telling us about his closet because we had gone into his closet a long time ago and he literally will go through that closet take every single thing out of the closet and give it away to different pastors or different people in need yep sounds right he's living he actually went and bought things clothing for people who actually hate his guts he's taken them they didn't know that he knew that they hated him he's taken them. They didn't know that he knew that they hated him. He's taken them to the store or seen them at the mall or whatever, or wherever, bought them suits, and then walked away.
Starting point is 00:08:15 And Adonica was like, we need to buy groceries. But he's like, God will get me my groceries. That's what God told me to do. So, I mean. That's living your best life. That's living your best life. That's living your best life. It really is because you can't let people bother you. Listen, I'm just telling you right now,
Starting point is 00:08:34 lots of people live with a whole lot of chips on their shoulder because of what people have said and done about them. And the bigger sphere of people that you know, it's so funny to me because people are like, well, nobody feels like that about them. And the bigger sphere of people that you know, it's so funny to me because people were like, well, nobody feels like that about me. I'm like, well, okay, either you don't know a lot of people or you know, really, you don't know anybody or you're fooling yourself because pretty much there isn't anybody that I know of even that has attended this church. There is no one that has ever attended this church that I know that's ever really done anything
Starting point is 00:09:06 that has escaped people being bothered by something that they've done. It's not possible. And the bigger... Oopsie. That's my daughter, and apparently she doesn't know that I have a podcast. Norma.
Starting point is 00:09:20 So Talia, when you want to tell her to... Busted. Yeah. Tell her to do me to... Busted. Yeah. Tell her to do me a favor. I appreciate that. So for me, the bigger sphere of influence you have, the bigger amount of people you talk or speak into their life or deal with or whatever the case may be,
Starting point is 00:09:40 the more people that you deal with like that, the more people are not going to like you. Right. And if you can't handle that, then don't do it. Like that's business wise. That's church. That's that's being a coach of a football, baseball, basketball, whatever team like that's the way life is.
Starting point is 00:10:07 That's like if you have a large group of friends, it's like Tracy and Vanessa's group. I've known people who have had small Bible study groups and there are issues within that small Bible, but on a small scale, the bigger that group grows, the bigger the amount of problems you have. The more people come, they go. They get mad. They get
Starting point is 00:10:28 happy. They come back. They leave. Really, that's just life. And if you let that rule you, even like with my family and stuff like that, when there's been issues within siblings or aunts and uncles
Starting point is 00:10:44 or whatever, everybody doesn't think alike and not everybody is the same. So guess what? And here's the thing. The person that just called me, my daughter, is probably outside of Heather is the closest thing like me. And I hate myself sometimes because of them. So you don't even like yourself sometimes.
Starting point is 00:11:05 Okay? of them. So you don't even like yourself sometimes. True. Okay. So how are you like, it's a thing of having to water. Hey, don't we talk about Pastor Tom's podcast? Let me just finish this thought. Okay.
Starting point is 00:11:24 And then let's talk about Tom's podcast. Okay. So all I'm going to say to that is, whatever, even if it's in your family, because it's sad, but even in my family, there are people who just don't like each other. And it doesn't have to be like that. Like we should always, always, always.
Starting point is 00:11:43 And I say that there's boundaries, but boundaries should drop as trust is renewed or sometimes it's not trust. Sometimes it's like hurt, right? So as you got to let go of the hurt. And so, but we should always be looking to renew. Yeah. Always to restore. Totally agree. That's really, because if we keep, if we always keep the boundaries, and sometimes it's healthy because it's abusive. And when I mean abusive, I mean it's verbally abusive, it's physically abusive.
Starting point is 00:12:16 But I'm just saying, if there have been things that, like, for me, like when I had gossiped about my brother and stuff like that, that wasn't the first time I ever gossiped. Like I was a gossip. He was too. Like nobody's perfect. We all need to examine what our responses are to when things happen. Did we behave the proper way, right?
Starting point is 00:12:41 So if we know that we don't do everything perfect, then maybe we need to cut some people some slack. Especially when it comes to family, because Satan loves nothing more than to keep families apart with either brothers and sisters or aunts and uncles and cousins. And our job is to win them.
Starting point is 00:13:02 Like for me, my aunts that don't like me, I need to win them to the Lord. So restoration is imperative. But always know the bigger the influence, the more people don't like you. And that's okay. That's life. But you can't, like, for me,
Starting point is 00:13:19 I don't behave to them the way they'll behave to me. For the most part, unless they're super nasty then i'm just like be you know you gotta i'm not gonna be a um i'm not gonna be a punching bag when when you get outside when you get done being you then let's talk when you become more like jesus yeah then let's then let's do that but never uh never never don't live never don't live your best life never don't double negative i love it i know double negative it's just more powerful sometimes yeah that's what tom goes that's a double sometimes i'll say other things that i can't think of right now that are double negatives um and he'll be like but i'm like there's nothing
Starting point is 00:14:03 more fitting it right it just makes sense i have to say it that way that does make you think you're like oh yeah does that mean what i think it means yeah it means exactly what you think it means exactly 100 yeah all right go ahead talk about tom okay so obviously you guys know that there was like a whole trump thing going on yesterday and most of you probably feel like it's all fake and how could this happen? But if you don't fully understand like what was happening and why we think it's crazy, Pastor Tom had a great podcast on it last night. Excuse me. And if you go to Rumble and then you just like, obviously later, just remember, you can pull it
Starting point is 00:14:42 up, pull it up as like a side tab, but R and then um do tom lapley and you'll see trump verdict um what is it trump verdict trump atrocity atrocity thank you um it's the replay and it's so good and if you just skip through and right when he starts talking he goes right into it and he's going to fully explain why. And it's so cool because he was in law enforcement. So he's fully, fully explaining it. And some of it might be over your head, but at least you'll have verbiage for when you like, you know, this is wrong. But you actually have like verbiage to be able to explain to other people why you don't think it's right and why it makes sense that it's happening right now. Why other people aren't at blame for all this. And so head over there. It's really good. It's a great podcast. And I think there's a lot of people that just don't know what they believe.
Starting point is 00:15:34 And so that's that. I felt like that was really important. Yeah, I think it is important. And he broke some serious records last yeah i know which was awesome big news days sometimes do that um but um what happened to president trump that that's banana republic right right i know i know i feel like we know that but like pastor tom did a great job like actually actually explaining it. So it made sense. The legal part of it. The legal part of it. Because a lot of people think, well, certainly he did something.
Starting point is 00:16:10 Right. In order for this to, all 34 counts that he was convicted on, not one of them, not one of them stands. I mean, if people, like it's not, he did not do it. That's the crazy thing. It's not that he didn't do it. It's like, not like the man who said that he didn't kill his wife and he actually killed his wife no literally what they're convicting him of right are things that are legal and they're and they know they're legal but yet
Starting point is 00:16:35 they're convicting him of it it's like which uh derek chauvin um when they said he killed George Floyd. It's now come out that he did not kill, George Floyd died not of asphyxiation from being on the neck of George Floyd, which was not smart, but that's not what killed him. He died of a fentanyl overdose. That's legitimately what he did, which causes you not to be able to breathe, one of the side effects.
Starting point is 00:17:04 But you know what? They charged him twice, and now he's serving. You can't be charged twice. You're either one. It's either one or the other, not both. And this country is, but people are making up their own rules, and it's just like January 6th. These people who are in jail, they've been in jail for four years now,
Starting point is 00:17:26 going on four years in January of next year. It'll be four years. And what they were charged, you're right, certainly they deserve three years. No, what they did normally, what would have happened is people would have been charged. It's a misdemeanor. You don't even go to jail.
Starting point is 00:17:46 You pay a fine. And these guys that were sitting in, and these jail conditions are so poor and so wretched. Like, we should be praying for these people. Now, some people have gone to jail. Like, they have the, what's that guy called? The something boys. What were they called? Starts with a P.
Starting point is 00:18:08 The poor boys? No. I can't remember it. Proud? Proud boys. So the proud boys, some of the proud boys, they said were the instigators for the insurrection. That's not true.
Starting point is 00:18:25 They were a part of the January 6th situation. But what happened was, is the guy that's like the president of the Proud Boys, he wasn't even there. And he is now serving, I think, 20 years in prison. Because they said he instigated it and he created it. And they have no proof of that whatsoever. Nothing.
Starting point is 00:18:49 Not one thing from what I understand. And now he's serving 20 years. He wasn't even there. Yeah. We are. Listen, I'm just telling you, be very careful.
Starting point is 00:18:58 Tom says this all the time. Depending on where you live, be very careful. Like Steve Bannon right now is, as they're trying to do the same thing to to him that they did to donald trump and they're saying that he didn't show up for congress when he was what is it when you're told to come um and stand before congress or um but also when you're told you have to go to a court of law, it's subpoenaed, but not subpoenaed.
Starting point is 00:19:29 It's something else to find out what it says that Steve Bannon's being charged for. So he didn't go. And the reason he didn't go was because legitimately he didn't have to because he didn't do what they said. And he's not he's not obligated to go at all. And in the past, Democrats do this all the time. They never show up. In fact, one of their big guys just did it, and now the Republicans are trying to do the same thing.
Starting point is 00:19:56 What are they saying? Court-martial? What is it? Court-martial? No. No. It says Steve Bannon convicted on contempt charges. Contempt of court, because he didn't go to the Congress. Committing, yeah. Yeah, which he did not do. It says Steve Bannon convicted on contempt charges. Contempt of court because he didn't go to the Congress.
Starting point is 00:20:05 Committing, yeah. Yeah. Which he did not do. It's not true. Yeah. And so now they're trying to put him away on charges that are not actual. They're not even the right ones. It's just the craziest thing.
Starting point is 00:20:19 So, but they're transferring people to these blue areas because they're conservative, they're Republicans. And nobody will, like what happened with Trump, nobody wanted to take that case. Right. This guy, Merchant, the judge, was the only one that would. Wow. But there's reasons for that. And if you look at him, he's extremely corrupt. And so does his daughter.
Starting point is 00:20:37 And they strung out this court case for so long because his daughter was making millions every day off of it. It's ridiculous i mean guys the corruption is at the highest level people need to wake up even if you don't think politics or what goes on on the news or what's going on in the world it doesn't interest you in any way shape or form because it makes you like i just don't want to know you better find out what's going on because someday you might care. Like all those people that went to January 6th, they thought, oh, I'm just going to go in and walk around the Capitol. They didn't even go in the Capitol.
Starting point is 00:21:13 They just walked around. Now they have like, they've been arrested. Okay? Because they probably didn't pay attention to what was going on in and around the world. You need to pay attention. This is a crazy time we live in. You need to know what's going on in and around the world you need to pay attention it's this is a crazy time we live in you need to know what's going on and then you need to be restraining you need to resist because if there's no resistance then there's nothing so people have
Starting point is 00:21:35 got to make a stand the greatest thing of all is since this happened more people are saying they're like they have turned the democrats have ruined it for themselves because more people are saying they're like they have turned. The Democrats have ruined it for themselves because more people are now saying even Dennis Quaid. Dennis Quaid is saying I'm voting for Trump. This because of the the judicial system in our country has gone overboard and gone crazy. And he's not even he's not conservative. But Trump's donations skyrocketed yesterday good so watch out because all you did is solidify him for people wanting him to be president but that's the stuff you'll learn if you watch the tlp yeah absolutely and also one of the things
Starting point is 00:22:20 that i learned from pastor tom the most is like they eventually will eat their own so eventually you like if you're on the opposite side, you're like, Oh, good, Trump's going to jail, blah, blah, blah. But if it wasn't a fair trial, and then you're putting that same situation, because you will one day if this gets like totally crazy, you will want a fair trial, like, right. So we need to stand up for what's right. You have to like, that's the whole point of this is hate Trump, love Trump, like at the the end of the day, like, you would want a fair trial. He deserves a fair trial. It should have never even gone to trial. Right.
Starting point is 00:22:49 What they're saying is, just so you understand, what they're saying is, is he used campaign that because he did not use campaign financial finance reform or his campaign finance finances to pay off Stormy Daniels for an affair that he says that never happened. She even admits it never happened. She was actually having an affair with the attorney, supposedly. And so even the attorney is corroborating all these things. You're not allowed to use campaign money to hush people up, just so you know. And if he, so, but he's saying because he didn't use campaign finance money and he used his own, we're going to arrest you.
Starting point is 00:23:33 You can't, you can't do that. They would have arrested him if he used campaign money. And he wasn't even running for office at the time. That's how crazy this is. He wasn't even running. Yep. Yep. And Aaron said they've set a new precedence at the time. That's how crazy this is. He wasn't even running. Yep. Yep. And Aaron said they've set a new precedence at this point.
Starting point is 00:23:50 So that's the scary part of all this. Yes. Anything goes. Right. Change the rules. Anything goes. And people better wake up because if you don't think it's coming to your door, you are sorely mistaken, especially if you live in blue states.
Starting point is 00:24:04 Yeah. You should never be afraid because you've got a hedge of protection around you. But what you should be doing is fighting for what is right. Right. Stand up against. Yeah. Stand up against this stuff. It's not OK. Wage war. I mean, spiritually wage war. Yeah. You should be praying over these things. You don't know about them. Guess what? You don't pray about them. Right. Putting your head in the sand does not change a daggum thing. It only makes you ignorant to the devil's devices. That's all it does. It doesn't help you in any way. And a lot of people think if I don't know about it, then I don't have to deal with it. That's an untruth. You're fooling yourself. You're being ignorant in doing that.
Starting point is 00:24:41 Ignorance is almost worse sometimes than stupid. Yeah. Right. Especially if you choose to be ignorant. When you're choosing, yeah. That's even worse. So, okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:24:52 Let's do your thing now. That's important. Because I now know why Tom screams. I know. See? I know. You had your hope voice on.
Starting point is 00:24:59 I kept mine. Yep. It was close. But I wanted to. Yeah, I see why he screams. why you're empathetic towards him. That's not really kind of kind of a little bit. All right. So if you're on Facebook, I want you guys to just head over to Rumble real quick.

Starting point is 00:28:10 her little cute leech, and Norma at the end with her cute glasses, and then the three little girls, we've got Charlotte, Brinley, and Tootie, so just love that, just needed a little,
Starting point is 00:28:21 just needed to show our little peanut gallery again, I know, so cute, so cute, well, yeah, I love that. Just needed a little, just needed to show our little peanut gallery again. I know. So cute. So cute. Well. Yeah. That's all our stuff for today. I guess it's time to get rolling.
Starting point is 00:28:32 I know. Because it's only 32 minutes left of the podcast after my rage. Listen, but that was important and people need to know because if they're waking up this morning and they're seeing, like Sam said, she trusts Pastor Tom to do the research and figure it all out. And's so much information out there like what is true and what's not true and and coming from a cop is just like the best thing ever because he does know the law
Starting point is 00:28:53 and he's a pastor so he's going to be honest about it that does help knowing the law it does yeah it doesn't like he said last night like you guys don't know because you have jobs and you have lives you can't like he worked in it so like he knows and even when he said about like the prerequisite to what he was charged with like you had to be robbery versus theft like he just the way he explained it like it all just made sense oh yeah I appreciate it once you find out you're gonna be so I know I know it's shocking that this was allowed yeah yeah because you know it's wrong but like to know how wrong it is it it is it makes me very very frustrated and this has happened to other people throughout like even um there are people in jail yeah that are not supposed to be in jail right
Starting point is 00:29:42 but because it just looked just perfect. And this doesn't look perfect, just so you know. It doesn't look perfect at all. In fact, it's totally opposite of perfect. But there are people that are rotting in jail right now for the same thing, and they didn't do it. Yeah, not good. Trust me, most of them did.
Starting point is 00:29:58 But there are people that did not do the things that have been great. As much as I don't like DNA because they can track us through it and stuff. There are some good things about using DNA because they've been able to prove cases of they were people were accused of things and they did not do it. Yeah, I can't imagine. Riding in prison for years and years and years when you know you're innocent. That would be like torturous. I think that's what makes me so mad is like. How do you live your best life?
Starting point is 00:30:28 I mean, I would. I would figure out a way to have a prison ministry. I would. But I would be like deep down. I'd be like, but I didn't do it. Like at least just say I didn't do it and you want to keep me in here. Well, because a lot of people. Yeah, that's true, too.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Because it ruins your reputation and your character. And it's just frustrating. Which is frustrating because that's happened to us. Yeah, you're like, no. But I'm not in jail. And I don't, you know, if somebody wants to besmirch my character and stuff to a certain extent, I'm like, there's only so much you can do. But nobody said I've raped or killed somebody, which is a way bigger deal than some of the stuff that people accuse you of.
Starting point is 00:31:06 True. True, true. But prison ministry? Yeah, I'd be all about it. I'd be winning the loss left and right. Absolutely. They'd be kicking us out. And kicking some tail.
Starting point is 00:31:14 Probably getting in a few fights left and right. You totally would. You would. I ain't nobody's Mary. Okay? So, I mean, Vanessa is, but not me. Wow. Listen, Vanessa would never make it in jail i would never like be accused of anything that's true nobody would believe it nobody didn't think he'd be accused
Starting point is 00:31:35 of anything either vanessa's the unicorn they'd be like no way not her not her uh i don't i don't believe that for a second. I'm just saying. Just like I survived the hood in Brooklyn, I would survive prison. I would be friends with like... That's true. She would find... That's what she would do.
Starting point is 00:31:55 The biggest... The biggest burly girl. Oh, yeah. And I would be her bestie. Yep. And she would protect me. Yeah. Totally.
Starting point is 00:32:03 That's how it works in the hood. That's how it works in the hood. That's how it works in the hood. It's true. She's that long. I didn't play, when I was, I didn't live in the hood, but I made frequent stops
Starting point is 00:32:13 and I'm just telling you, not because of drugs. I never did drugs. I just made frequent stops and I'm just telling you, that's not how I roll. At all. You were the one.
Starting point is 00:32:26 You were the biggest, baddest one. No, I just had short girl's disease like nobody's business. Which almost led to me being killed. Yeah. And thank God somebody saved me because I couldn't save myself. You thought you could until you couldn't. In my mind. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:32:48 When I was getting into it, I'm like, you got this, girl. Yeah. And then I got into it and I went, you're in over your head. You're in over your head. Yeah. This probably was not the wisest of moves. The biggest, baddest girl was Amaryllis. You've met my friend Amaryllis.
Starting point is 00:33:04 Yeah. Yeah, she was no joke. You messedllis. Yeah. Yeah, she was no joke. That's with her. Yeah. Yeah, but and listen, she and I, I can totally... I know. That's what I'm saying. Rub shoulders with, but I'm just telling you. That's my ride or die.
Starting point is 00:33:17 But there are other people out there that are bigger and better than her, and I'm just telling you. You got lucky. Probably. She had a lot of protection around her. Trust me. I know just telling you. You got lucky. Probably. Trust me. Trust me. I know. She did. Yeah, you had to know.
Starting point is 00:33:32 Because you too. She did. Unless you got a shank, you're in trouble. I wonder where all those people went back in the day. Like, where are they now? Like all my friends? No, the ones that weren't so much your friends. Oh, they're probably living their best life now too.
Starting point is 00:33:47 Hopefully. Hopefully. Hopefully they all climbed out, took our heads out of our buttholes and started. I wonder if they did. I hope so. I know. Because listen, it's just the hood is not just, I mean, like you got all of complected. You got black people. You got light-skinned people.
Starting point is 00:34:08 And then you got whiteys. You're not going to ever see Asians in the hood unless they're at the store and they run that store. They know how to make money. They're not stupid. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:23 Give me your people's names. But you're going to see Hispanics, Whiteys. That's true. African Americans. You're going to see us in that hood. We're not making money. We're out there doing some naughty stuff.
Starting point is 00:34:35 Living our best lives. Your best not Jesus life. Yeah. So hopefully they all got themselves. I have a PI. So if you want to like drop me some names, I'll. I could care less. I don't even remember their names. That's funny. I have a PI, so if you want to drop me some names, I'll... No, I could care less.
Starting point is 00:34:48 I don't even remember their names. That's funny. I would. Somebody almost got me. I didn't know them. Oh, really? No. No. I didn't know them. You're an idiot when you're on the street. Somebody looks at you wrong. What you looking at? You're an idiot. I dealt with that with Norma in Target when
Starting point is 00:35:04 she came up. Yeah, Norma gets it right. Norma comes by it right. It's okay. It's okay. She's looking at Kenzie wrong. And I'm like, it's okay. It's Target. They're just getting their makeup.
Starting point is 00:35:17 So I totally can see it. She never heard me say that. I totally can see that. But I tell you. Yeah. You have a child that's just like you. I know. You'll hate yourself and love yourself all at the same time.
Starting point is 00:35:26 Nature versus nurture. Sometimes nature just wins. Yeah. Yeah. There's not a lot of nurture in this person. Very little. Very little. Very little.
Starting point is 00:35:40 Oh, man. It's true. Tom's more of the nurturer. Yeah. I can see that. That's okay. That's all right. Somebody's got to fend for the family. It's true. Tom's more of the nurturer. Yeah, I can see that. That's okay. That's all right. Somebody's got to fend for the family.
Starting point is 00:35:48 Somebody has to. Somebody's got to kill and eat. That's true. That's true. Chickens and all. Yeah, whatever. Oh, my gosh. Whatever makes the household work.
Starting point is 00:35:59 As long as the priest is still the priest of the home. Yeah, absolutely. That's all that matters. Absolutely. Just love your best life, Hope. Keep your roles, people. Keep your roles. So, oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:36:11 Oh, man. Okay. All right. That's Norma again. God bless. Norma. I told her. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:36:17 She acknowledged that she knew I was doing the podcast, but now she's telling me. She doesn't care. She's updating me on the issue. Okay. Oh. I don't care about it right now. Yeah. It'll be all right.
Starting point is 00:36:29 Yeah. Okay. Question, because now we're 24 minutes in and you guys really don't care about anything else. What are your thoughts on asking Siri things or telling Alexa and other electronic equipment to turn on the lights, music, TV, etc.? I get that it's convenient, but I can't help but think talking to something that is not alive and not human is like asking a Ouija board questions. For me, it opens a door for summoning a demonic spirit to communicate. The only spirit I want to talk to is the Holy Spirit. Like we said on this Wednesday, I never thought about talking to Alexa and Siri as demonic.
Starting point is 00:37:04 Right. Same. I never thought about talking to Alexa and Siri as demonic. Right. Same. I mean, I do have my thoughts and opinions on them, and it ain't good because I think, do I think it's smart to have everything set smart in your house? No. Because then they can turn everything off. They have everything that you,
Starting point is 00:37:22 like anything that you put on that phone, trust me, I know, connects you to everything in your house. Every single thing. From your computers to if you have it through your TV. Everybody has access to everything if you electronically set it up that way. So for me, my AC blows at the temperature when I manually set it myself. I'm not turning on lights unless I want them turned on with the old switch.
Starting point is 00:37:52 Like, no. I'm not doing all of that. Because I want control, not the powers that be that are trying to get them, like the ones that are, you know, just convicted pastor, convicted President Trump. So for me, I don't look at all of those things, Alexa. I mean, do I think that this phone right here is listening to everything I say? I do. You know why? Because if I tell you if I say I want to go down kayaking down the Myakka River, I'm going to have a kayak advertisement on my, you know, whatever I'm looking at next.
Starting point is 00:38:27 Okay? Or something about the Myakka River. Okay? That's the way it works. So, I'm not so stupid to know that both devices that I have right now are not listening to my communication. But I don't want them to have any more control than what they
Starting point is 00:38:43 already do. And telling Alexa to turn on something or play this song and don't do this and do that, I'm not concerned about spirits because I have the Holy Spirit. He dwells in me. And my house has got angels that surround it on all four corners of it. Like I, each and every single one of us actually have an angel assigned to us. That's what the Bible tells us. It's at least one, okay, that we know of. So for me, I don't worry about that stuff. But I also don't want to give power to powers that don't need it.
Starting point is 00:39:18 So I don't feel like it opens up in a demonic door. And unless there's scripture that tells me something about, I don't want to talk saying that the word Siri or Alexa has to be in the Bible. I'm just saying something has to veer that way. I don't see it. I mean, ladies, do you? Because, I mean, Sarah kind of said that she like thought about it, but we didn't really pick her brain because I was holding off for this question.
Starting point is 00:39:48 I guess because when I use it, I'm just, well, I don't really use it. But if we do, I'll be like, put instrumental worship on level two. Like, that's all I ever used it for. So I just never was like, hey, can you tell me this? Can you tell me this? Can you tell me this? I mean, I use Google to answer questions for me. Right.
Starting point is 00:40:03 And is that different? But I don't use Siri. But what's the difference? So I guess that's my thought. Well, I mean, I'm typing into to answer questions for me. Right. And is that different? But I don't use Siri. But what's the difference? So I guess that's my, I mean, I'm typing into Google. Do you know what I'm saying? I'm not talking to something.
Starting point is 00:40:10 So when I say that, but can't you talk to Google and tell Google? Yeah. You can say, Hey Google. Even my, so what's the difference when I'm using YouTube? So I'll use my,
Starting point is 00:40:18 um, remote and say like YouTube, like Tom Lively podcast and it'll pop up or Jonathan Shuttlesworth or whatever, and it'll pop up. So I'm technically asking my TV to turn on something. But again, it's always like God stuff or like travel, like, you know what I mean? So it's like, I don't know. I guess my brain just doesn't. What does the Bible say about pure thoughts? Like if your thoughts are just pure, you don't think about other stuff. What that what's that that uh whatever is pure whatever is lovely is that i don't know something like that like if you think on those things yeah well
Starting point is 00:40:48 it's like kind of yes that one too but it's like if your thoughts i just never go that route yeah that i'm like summoning things so i never thought it and i i feel that if it were to be like i would have a conviction about it immediately i just well she did. But then the thing is, let me just play devil's advocate with you on this, okay? But she does think that it is. So is, do you know what I'm saying? She's trying to find out, is this conviction? And is this demonic? Do you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:41:22 I do. And some of the rule followers you can't go by your feelings right right and some some of these people are like extreme rule followers so they don't want to like even dabble in the like is this like you know is this new age is this Christian is this so they just kind of like avoided at all costs so it's good you're asking the question um but I just yeah me personally I've never considered it and also like we discussed earlier on another podcast like this is a very like this subject is very on trend right now and so if you're constantly like filling yourself up with like different like things like this like are you being in possession
Starting point is 00:42:02 like just like that yeah that kind of like subject like if you're and so you're gonna that's what you're looking for yeah you know it's in the forefront of your mind yeah yeah if you're always watching if you're just whatever is lovely whatever is here whatever you know thinking on those things like i don't know that's just where it's true though if you're on youtube and you're always watching things about like summoning demons and this and like there was like a book that talked about like a clawfoot tub how that you shouldn't have that in your house because the clawfoots like were demonic and then it goes to yoga then it goes to halloween and then so it like it kind of like a rabbit hole that you like yeah everything's demonic so that's my thought on it yeah clawfoot tub yeah yeah I've heard that one are you kidding me
Starting point is 00:42:46 like the pedestal like those pedestal tables or whatever pedestal sinks well I don't know pedestal tables you know those tables and they have the clawfoot feet too
Starting point is 00:42:54 they're big circle tables and you can take like the the leaf out in the middle and they have like the clawfoot feet as well like old school ones wooden tables they have claw feet as well and like that's,
Starting point is 00:43:05 like that could be demonic. I know. I've never heard of this before. Yeah. It's true. Yeah. What is that? Like growing up,
Starting point is 00:43:17 it was, it was the Smurfs. Oh. Like growing up for me, it was the Smurfs. I thought we had a ghost over there. No. No.
Starting point is 00:43:26 There are no such things. Like I was, I was saying like for me growing up, it was the Smurfs. It was cabbage patch kids. It was all these other things that were like demonic, like that. I could not like somebody told you cabbage patch. Yeah. Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:41 Yes. Yep. Yes. Absolutely. You can't have babies just popping out of fields are you kidding me oh my gosh yeah no it wasn't no not kidding that's what i mean though that's what we're saying right what's that verse i'm perplexed by that that's very perplexing see for me i did a comparison like if you talk talk to Siri and you talk to Alexa,
Starting point is 00:44:07 let's look at the Ouija board. You are asking the Ouija board questions, but they're yes and no questions. When you're talking to Alexa and Siri, you're asking them to turn something on, turn something off. You don't open up with prayer when you do Alexa and Siri. You open up in prayer when you play the Ouija board.
Starting point is 00:44:26 I didn't even know how to do the Ouija board. I had to look it up. Like, what is it? Like, what do you do? Well, also, when you're doing the Ouija board, you know what you're going into. Whereas, like, you know you're talking to something. You're trying to communicate with the dead.
Starting point is 00:44:41 Whereas, when you're doing an Alexa in Syria, you're just... Yeah, you're just asking it to play a stupid song. Or like, hey Alexa, did Trump get convicted last night or yesterday?
Starting point is 00:44:52 Yes. Yeah. Do you know what I'm saying? Yeah, yeah. There doesn't... When you have Alexa and Siri, there aren't like people who are warning you
Starting point is 00:45:03 about what you're about to do and embark into. So make you can handle it because that's what they with the ouija board that's one of the things that i saw like there are warnings not that you're warned when you open up the box and you start but people know there's warnings about when you play this or you participate in it that there's things that can happen it might be you might be stupid and you nothing might happen because you're just goofing around but then if you take it serious things can happen and so but that never happens with siri and and alexa there's no demons coming out of alexa and siri now ouija yeah it's not the case. You're talking to spirits when you're playing Ouija board or you're doing the Ouija board.
Starting point is 00:45:50 You're not talking to spirits when you do Alexa and Siri or Google. That's just not what the – it comes right down to it. For me, it's all a matter of the heart. What is the purpose behind what you're doing? What are you trying to do when you're doing Alexa and Siri or Google? What's the purpose behind it? Because that's really what we're judged on. That's what's looked at.
Starting point is 00:46:13 But when you do the Ouija board, you know exactly what you're getting into. When you go and do a seance or you do anything that's demonic of any kind, going and getting your palm read or whatever the case may be that's, you know, relative or related to that. You know what you're doing and you know what you're walking into. Most people when they're doing Siri and Alexa, not most, everybody that has the right mind, not that you don't have the right mind you're feeling like questioning it i'm saying people with purpose know that they're not talking or they're not wanting to communicate with spirits like they do with other things they're trying to figure out their future through those devices do
Starting point is 00:46:56 you know what i'm saying so there's a heart behind it yeah and it's one thing to question it and try and figure it out. It's another thing to be like, it is. It's not. So let me see. Where am I at in this? I want to make sure I cover everything. I think I covered it all. So pretty much be free. I don't do Alexa and Siri because I ain't talking to nothing
Starting point is 00:47:25 I'll type it in and I don't want them what's the difference of typing it in and asking them though seriously is there any difference I'm not a computer person I don't think there is a difference because it's pulling from the same information so like asking Alexa
Starting point is 00:47:40 except for if you're asking them to play something I don't do that but But if you Google a question, it's no different than asking Siri the same question, correct? Right. It'll come from the same source. It's all the same algorithms. Right. And it'll come from the same source. It'll come from Google, Wikipedia, who knows where it's coming from. Is it even accurate? Does it really matter?
Starting point is 00:47:57 No, it doesn't. I should just start talking to Siri. You know what? You just helped me. I'm now going to ask my questions to Siri because i hate touch screen it infuriates me oh you just might have saved me some steps sister or a friend or being efficient brother yeah exactly efficiency okay i have the bible verse titus 115 everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure but nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving because their minds and conscious are corrupt so like that's what i'm saying when i go
Starting point is 00:48:24 to like look up something on YouTube or ask, I'm not thinking like, how can I manipulate this situation to get what I want? I'm just like, can you do this for me? Thank you. Like, it's like asking my PA over here.
Starting point is 00:48:35 Hey, like, do I have to get anything out of the hallway? And she's like, no, you're good. I'm like, cool.
Starting point is 00:48:39 I wasn't like summoning Talia. I was just asking her. She's helping me out. I mean, whatever she was doing before, I don't know. I don't know how you do that, but I'm just saying. So no, I think that was good though. It is a
Starting point is 00:48:51 heart condition. Am I even doing that right? I don't know. What is it? Is it fingers? Oh yeah, this. You weren't even doing it right. Whatever. I'm not actually doing it. Yeah, see?
Starting point is 00:49:05 Good heart condition. There you go. That was good. I don't know. All I know is, no, I don't believe Alexa and Siri are anything like doing anything that you shouldn't. Get an Alexa. Start talking to Siri or Google. You'll be all right.
Starting point is 00:49:22 You'll be all right. My stamp of approval. Oh, no, we need that. You'll be all right. You'll be all right. My stamp of approval. Oh, I know. We need that. We really do. Okay. I say it's okay. I think I can figure that out.
Starting point is 00:49:33 Great question. I mean, listen, you, girl, or if this was an urban guy, I don't know who it's from, but you just opened the door
Starting point is 00:49:39 to like, some of these questions, I seriously, I'm like, these are so good. But on top of that, there's some questions that are coming up and I'm like, I learned so good. But on top of that, there's some questions that are coming up.
Starting point is 00:49:45 And I'm like, I learned so much. Yeah, that's fun, too. I know. I learned a lot. Yeah. Look at you love learning. So proud of you. Love learning.
Starting point is 00:49:55 That's what it should be. Yeah. We should love learning. And look at you. We're getting so far with this podcast. She's such a cheerleader and such a sap so full of crap it's unbelievable
Starting point is 00:50:08 no it's not it's unbelievable this is good this is so good some days it's harder to tolerate her than others but most days it's not and that one right there that was a rough one okay let's go to the next question
Starting point is 00:50:22 I wish people would leave me alone was not not they love you no not her definitely not me just i'm not going anywhere you guys are stuck with me praise the lord was adam filled with the holy spirit when god breathed into his now listen this one i'm telling you yeah this was a great question. Was Adam filled with the Holy Spirit when God breathed into his nostrils? If so, do you think the Holy Spirit left when God said he would die? Because people question whether or not they went to heaven or hell. Adam and Eve, I personally believe they went to heaven. There's nothing that says one way or the other.
Starting point is 00:51:02 But their lives, God continued to bless them. God continued to cause them to have more children. And even though they had to toil and work the earth, there's nothing that says that God turned his back on them completely. So let's look at scripture. Genesis 2, 7 says, And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being.
Starting point is 00:51:40 Now, if you look at the Hebrew word spirit, it is, the Hebrew word is ruach. I believe I'm saying that right. Which means wind, breath, air, and spirit. So, when God breathed into his nostrils, that word in Hebrew means spirit. That is wild. I know. That's good.
Starting point is 00:52:07 I was like, oh my gosh. Yeah. So I personally think, yes, he did breathe the spirit into him because the Holy Spirit, Jesus, and God were all present at the time the earth was formed. Right. Right.
Starting point is 00:52:20 You know, spoke it with the word. Yeah. Right? You know, I heard a great teaching, Charles Capps. A friend of mine sent me this teaching. And they were like, you got to listen to this. They know I'm a Charles Capps person. Never listened to this teaching.
Starting point is 00:52:36 But he said something so good, I'm going to steal it and act like it's mine from this point forward. Okay, you've said it once. It's good. As Andrew Womack says, it's in here now. So it is mine from this point forward. Okay, you've said it once. It's good. As Andrew Womack says, it's in here now. So it is mine. There you go. But what he said is when God formed the world, if God formed the world with words,
Starting point is 00:52:55 then you can form the world with your words. I like that. I like that. I went, yeah, I sure can. I sure that. I went, yeah, I sure can. I sure can. So how my world develops and evolves is based on the words that I say. And you need to remember that. Life and death is held in the tongue.
Starting point is 00:53:16 So make sure the words that you speak are life. And they are building a fantastic world for you to live in. So powerful. But so when God breathed into his nostrils, it says that the spirit, that word breathe could also mean spirit. So, yeah, like I said, I believe that, yeah, he probably was. I don't believe that the Holy Spirit left Adam. I don't. And there's reasons why um that i believe this and and i'm going to tell you genesis 3 15 says and i will put enmity between you and
Starting point is 00:53:54 the woman this is god saying this to adam okay and i will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed and if you look look at that word seed, I'm looking at it to make sure, but that word seed is with a capital S. That means something. Grammar always means something. Pay attention to when things are capitalized, when there's a semicolon, when there's a comma. When there's a comma, that means in addition to a lot of times, right? So you got to pay attention to those things. So this is, when I'm done,
Starting point is 00:54:28 you'll see why I think God didn't turn his back on Adam because he allowed him to be a part of the biggest thing. Well, the redemptive, the redemption of us all. He allowed him to be the seed to that. So I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed and he shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel.
Starting point is 00:54:52 Okay. I have read that scripture so many times and I just breathed right over that because I didn't look at the capital S and I didn't look at the capital H in his. Have you ever like read that and looked at that like that before? I missed the capital S and I didn't look at the capital H in his. Have you ever like read that and looked at that like that before? I missed the capital S for seed when I saw it. And this is in Genesis, guys. That's where, I mean, that's where, again, most people think only God was present when the
Starting point is 00:55:19 world was formed. It was not. If you look at it, the scripture is very clear that he talks about us and we. And it was Jesus, Holy Spirit, and God that were present at when the world was formed. So I dug deep on this. And it's amazing. So I'm going to break this down. I'm going to look at my notes really quick. Okay. So
Starting point is 00:55:52 there is, it's called, I got to look at the words like a bunch. So when God casts judgment against Adam and Eve, this is called the Proto-Evangelium Proto-Evangelium, Proto-Evangelium, which is the first gospel. This is where they say this is where the first gospel was ever present. Isn't that interesting? Okay, because here is where it introduces us about Jesus, about Jesus, our Savior.
Starting point is 00:56:27 This is where it first introduces us. And that the curse, can you hear me? Yeah. Oh, I pulled this out. I was like, we're good. I can't. Oh, I'm back. I was always here.
Starting point is 00:56:39 Yeah, I was going to say. You're here. And that the curse of sin would be taken care of by Jesus himself, the Savior, which is the seed, which is why that S is capitalized. Okay. God is allowing Eve, even though she's the one that took the bite and then gave it to Adam, he's still allowing her to be the person that the seed starts from. He didn't remove her. Like, if you look at it, God, like God removed Saul and said, David will be your replacement. He could have done that with Eve, but he didn't do that. And you have to also remember, we didn't have the Ten Commandments at this time.
Starting point is 00:57:24 There was no sacrifice for sin. There was no repentance, really, to speak of. And you have to also remember we didn't have the Ten Commandments at this time. There was no sacrifice for sin. There was no repentance, really, to speak of. They didn't know what we know. They didn't even know what Abraham knew. Abraham sacrificed, right? Noah sacrificed. They didn't know that.
Starting point is 00:57:47 Now, some say that God sacrificed for Adam and Eve when he got them their clothing. That's the first time anything was sacrificed. But God did that. And who's to say that Adam and Eve were present and they even knew what all of that meant? So the word here, the word seed here, the lower capitalized word seed here actually means offspring which is pretty unbelievable and it's singular which means one which which is why the word seed capitalized is jesus and it says that the soul tempter will be countered by the soul savior. So Satan is bruised by the heel of Jesus, right? So if you look at that, where it said that in Genesis 3.15, and he shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel.
Starting point is 00:58:37 That's Jesus to the devil. And how did that happen? It happened on the third day when Jesus went down to the grave, took the keys of death and, and brought them back and redeemed us so that we have eternal life. If we, if we know him and we accept him as our Lord and savior. So he crushed his head and he took sin and death away.
Starting point is 00:59:03 And that is powerful. And for me, I just think that there's something to be said for grace and mercy. And I think that that's what God provided to Adam and Eve. And if for me, I sit there and go, well, okay, they ate the apple or they ate the fruit or took a bite of it or whatever after after they were told not to do something, and how many times have I done something I'm not supposed to do that God's told me not to do that's maybe not causing the world to have sin in the world, right? They change the trajectory of everything.
Starting point is 00:59:42 I'm not saying that my sin changes the trajectory of everything. So obviously there's degrees. But I'm just saying to you that I look at it as I can ask Jesus for forgiveness for my sin. They didn't have that option. But I also have grace and mercy that's provided for me. So why wouldn't that grace and mercy be provided to them? Like they would have to be forever damned because of this. I just don't think that that's how God works when they didn't have the same
Starting point is 01:00:11 things that we do today or even hundreds of years later with Noah or Abraham. They didn't have the same tools. And this was all new. It was bad enough that they were, you know, evicted out of the garden. Right. That's bad. I think they're penitent. I don't think the ultimate punishment for them is hell. I think the ultimate punishment was that you will toil. You will have to work with your hands. You will have to provide your own food. Woman, you will have pain in your labor. Those are, I think, were the punishments that he said.
Starting point is 01:00:48 Instead of saying, you're eternally damned, I think he said, this is your punishment. This is what you're going to have to deal with. But you'll still go to heaven. That's just my opinion. What do you guys have to say? That's good. That's a great question, Annette. That's actually something that me and Kara were
Starting point is 01:01:06 talking about it's one of the conversations that we were having I'm like I wonder what Hope thinks about this I have I had no opinion because I did not know yeah so I didn't either that's why I was when she said it I'm like huh that's interesting it is it was so interesting and I I'm so happy well you were the one asked me that question or was she the one that asked me that question we were talking about and I was like I don't I don't I didn't have an answer either I was reading that I was like and it's so interesting he breathes he breathed into the nostrils not into the mouth either like not into the lungs he breathed like it's just the whole thing like every part of it's so interesting that is just unusual it really is like he doesn't his
Starting point is 01:01:43 ways are higher than our ways yep you know and so but for me i was like i am so glad somebody asked this question because i learned so much there's another one in here that i was like oh my gosh i never saw this scripture like this before yeah like i'll never forget that stuff yeah which helps me uh what were you gonna say vanessa no i i'm like sitting here like, oh, my gosh. And it's the living word of God, right? It has so many layers. And so if we just like slow down and just like study it and allow the Holy Spirit to reveal those things,
Starting point is 01:02:17 like there's so many nuggets out there in his word that it's just it really is wild. Right. Yeah. And this is way more fun to talk about like what God did at the beginning than like, can we talk to Google or chat GBT? Like, you know what I mean? Like,
Starting point is 01:02:33 this is like life giving. Yeah. There's such like a different like heart posture towards both of these things. You know, that would be art terminology. I like that. It is.
Starting point is 01:02:42 It is. It is. Because if your heart position is always focused on another arc terminology and your village is always talking about demons then you can't you can't be you this right you miss this stuff because you're focused on that your heart posture is towards the wrong thing and you have to love to study. Right, Hope? Yeah. You have to love learning. That is true.
Starting point is 01:03:10 I hate all that art. I mean, I like literally, I want to, that. I know. You look like you're turning green a little bit. I told you I have a quick gag reflex. You do. It's everything I can do. It's true. F do. It's true. Facts.
Starting point is 01:03:27 That's why. But again, I bet everything you just said is so true. It goes way back. It literally goes back to studying the word. Yeah. And there are so many layers. Yeah. And the deeper you go, the more grounded you become.
Starting point is 01:03:41 Right. It's just the way it is. I know. And there will be no one and no thing that can pull you away from him the more you know the word right yeah because you'll just see how valued you are and how the the lengths that he will go for you yeah it's just crazy to me the lengths god has gone and goes for each and every single one of us. And the word shows it over and over and over again.
Starting point is 01:04:09 And it is through the layers. But you have to read the layers instead of reading a book that tells you about the layers. Right. Right. Exactly. Good. Because that's no good. All right.
Starting point is 01:04:20 All right. Let's. Hey, listen, I want to do it again. Today's. Today's the day. I heard Kenneth Hagen said, this is such a funny story. Listen, people. I don't know what to tell you. I listen to hours and hours of the man along with other people.
Starting point is 01:04:36 Because I can't read all the time. So when I'm working or cleaning and I'm going through the car wash and cleaning the car. I'm listening to teaching. I'm like, I'm not wasting my time not getting something. Like you can always be learning. Yeah. So like this is why not have something. I'm listening. Unless I'm praying.
Starting point is 01:04:55 But he tells about a story about he went and saw this evangelist because he was at a church doing, he would do like three weeks. The shortest he ever preached at a, when he would go and visit a church doing, he would do like three weeks. The shortest he ever preached at a, when he would go and visit a church was three weeks. That's the shortest. So, and then when his kids were older, they were in school, so he'd have to go by himself. So he and the pastor and his wife, he was at a church and he was speaking. They decided to go over and listen to this real popular evangelist that was in town. And the whole thing, Kenneth Hagin said, was the most negative thing. Nobody came up to be saved. No one came up to get the gift of tongues,
Starting point is 01:05:31 and then he left it to Kenneth Hagin for people to get healed because he didn't really believe in that. I'm like, why even have this evangelist in? But one of the reasons why he had no one who wanted to get saved is his thought process was, you never know what day is your day and and the thought thing the thing is is every day is the day of salvation every day is the day of salvation so lots of people think that i don't know uh i don't know when i'm ready i'll just do it you should be ready all the time. Like you should know that your life
Starting point is 01:06:06 is pretty miserable. Listen, I knew my life was miserable. I just didn't want to do it. But I, but I knew if I wanted to get saved, I could get saved that very day. There was no question about it. It's whether I wanted to or not. And so hopefully if you're not living for him or you need to get your life right with God because you've walked away, that you know that you don't have to wait, that today, right now, you can be saved. Because it is an untruth that who knows what day that will be. I mean, who in the world would think that?
Starting point is 01:06:40 I know. The Bible says otherwise. Today is the day of salvation. So today's your day. If you so choose for it to be, today is your day. He is ready, willing, and able to welcome you and receive you in and give you the best life now. You'll live your best life.
Starting point is 01:07:01 And I'm not just saying that. I am making fun of Tracy, but seriously, you will live your best life. I say this all the time. You'll want to pinch yourself. Somebody was just telling me this. That they literally feel the same way. They feel like they should pinch themselves because life is that good. That doesn't mean life is perfect.
Starting point is 01:07:17 That doesn't mean that you're not going to go through things. But the word is clear. You'll face many trials in this lifetime. But I will deliver you from them all. So you have the hope. And you know that the victory is clear. You'll face many trials in this lifetime, but I will deliver you from them all. So you have the hope and you know that the victory is yours. But if you're walking this life alone, you don't have that promise. So let's change that right now
Starting point is 01:07:32 and say this prayer with me, please. Heavenly Father, I thank you that you died on the cross. I thank you that you died for my sins. I ask you to forgive me of my sins. I ask you to be the Lord of my life. I ask you to lead me, guide me, and direct me from this moment forward. I accept that a new day is for me, and I walk in it, and I walk in it in victory. I thank you for what you did on the cross, and I will live each day for you. You will be the Lord of my life.
Starting point is 01:08:16 In Jesus' mighty name we pray, amen. If you said that prayer, let us know. If you need a good Bible, we're here for you. We'll get one right out to you. If you need anything, come to church on Sunday. If you can't even come to church because you don't live in the area, tune in on Sunday mornings at 10 o'clock. I think it's 10.05, isn't it? You'll see Vanessa's husband making our announcements, telling everybody what to do and what not to do. That's true. He's very good at that. Come join us. You'll never be the same. I can promise you that. And life will be good. We'll see you on Wednesday. If I don't see you on Sunday,
Starting point is 01:08:54 have a great weekend. Bye. Real talk Real talk
