Starting point is 00:00:00 Hello and welcome to the Hope Hotline. I hope everybody had a great Memorial Day weekend. Hello and welcome to the Hope Hotline. I hope everybody had a great Memorial Day weekend. I enjoyed it. I did enjoy it. I painted the remaining parts of my bathroom. OK. What did you do?
Starting point is 00:00:38 Well, it was my girl's 19th birthday on Tuesday. So we did like a weekend celebration. So clearly went to the beach. And then also went to a resort, the Sunseeker, in Port Charlotte. I love that resort. And I'm like afraid that we're going to lose that sucker. I know.
Starting point is 00:00:56 That's why I'm trying to take advantage while I can. It's just a matter of time. I know. I know. Then it might go swirling right down the toilet. And it was like dead, dead when we went on Tuesday, which I was happy about, except I'm not, because I also don't want it to go away.
Starting point is 00:01:10 I mean, it's a great resort. Are you going back there Vanessa for 4th of July? Are you afraid to tell me? Because you're afraid I'm gonna come. We haven't made solid plans, but I think so. Last time, I was afraid we were gonna get you kicked out of your condo. No way.
Starting point is 00:01:24 Oh my gosh, seriously, I was too. Screaming from the balconies. Those girls. Listen. I didn't help, but it was- No, I was gonna say, like, the girls that were in their early 20s are screaming, and I'm in my 50s, and I'm just as bad as they are.
Starting point is 00:01:39 True story. I don't think you could tell the difference. True. Oh my gosh, that was fun. Sadly true. It's all about having fun, people That was fun. It's all about having fun people. It is. It's all about having fun. Oh, that's not good.
Starting point is 00:01:51 Thunder. Why? Why is that bad? Because we, That was thunder. I'm not gonna even speak it. Oh, I'm worried because my chickens. Oh, okay. Yeah, you might have to if it starts raining.
Starting point is 00:02:05 What do they do if they get wet? Do they melt? They won't melt. It's my tarp that I have over him. I got things rigged right now. Like, yeah, go and look outside. I care about my chickens. I get made fun of.
Starting point is 00:02:19 I saved your chickens one time. Yeah, a couple of times. That was nice. And I was like, ooh, that looks bad. I'm gonna bring them in. I literally act like these are my babies. I know. It's bad.
Starting point is 00:02:31 It's a problem. I feel bad. Like we just got new chickens. Like we got an incubator, me and Heather, we got an incubator and Heather took some of her chicken eggs and they were fertilized and then we hatched them. Okay.
Starting point is 00:02:52 And so now I got two of the babies at my place, but I was so nervous yesterday because we moved them from her house to mine. You act like I gave birth to these things. Poor Brinley is like, Nina, it's gonna be okay. Oh my gosh, Brinley for the save. I'm like, I'm nervous. And she's like, it's just chickens. I can see it.
Starting point is 00:03:14 I mean, I can kill them as soon as I just look at you, but they're my babies, it's different. I mean, I don't mind killing meat chickens. Yeah, cause you haven't connected with them. That's why you're not supposed to name animals, right? Like meat chickens are ugly. They're ugly. They smell.
Starting point is 00:03:28 She is right. They're ugly. Have you ever raised them before? No. Well, what am I saying? You grew up in like the city. Brooklyn. She lived in Alabama for a little bit.
Starting point is 00:03:37 I had a rooster though, in my backyard. I know. That kind of lived its life. We got one for Easter. All of us got these little chicks. Were your neighbors not happy about that? Cause the thing crowed. No one liked us because that thing crowed
Starting point is 00:03:51 every single morning. But yeah, I had a rooster in the middle of Brooklyn. That thing lived a long life too. It was mean. Oh, it was so mean. Holy smokes. I know. Did you ever cock fight with the thing?
Starting point is 00:04:03 Never. No. Cause you know cock fight with the thing? Never. No. Cause you know the cities, the cities do that. I know, especially the Puerto Ricans in their white heaters. True. Yes. And their Newports. Oh my God. Listen, I know about Newports.
Starting point is 00:04:16 Yes. They would pause their, their domino game to cock fight. So I get that. No, we never signed her up or him up for cockfighting. Bought liquor and in new parts. That's the thing. True. You hang out in the right parts of the city. That's what you're going to get. True. And wife beaters and wife beaters. Oh my gosh. That's fun. Do what you got to do. Exactly. Um my gosh. So, do what you gotta do. Exactly. Okay, so you celebrated birthday.
Starting point is 00:04:49 I did. Tell. What was that? What did you do for Memorial Day? This weekend, Memorial Day, your house. I was just hanging out. Yeah, and Norma had a Memorial Day party. Oh, fun.
Starting point is 00:05:00 Well, not really. It was just like the band. Just like the band geeks and our worship team geeks. And then- I was at the beach and I burned probably two layers of my skin off. Oh my gosh. Yeah, it's not good, but it's fine.
Starting point is 00:05:18 I have a base tan now for the rest of the summer. Norma's burned herself pretty good. Yeah. You gotta do it. Now she's tan. Yeah. Flora girls. You gotta do it once, you gotta burn once. Right.
Starting point is 00:05:31 And then rub it off like dirt. Exactly. Kelly's here, Kelly, what did you do? For Memorial Day? Nobody can hear you, so I will tell everybody what you're saying. Sorry, nobody can hear me. No, don't worry about it.
Starting point is 00:05:42 Um. Get your chair though. Go ahead. Played outside and did productive stuff around the house. And you make a killer sourdough bread. Yes she does. And she made sourdough. Listen, that is one hard thing to make.
Starting point is 00:06:00 It is sourdough. I've been watching this stuff on Tik Tok about people who do sourdough and neither people like it or they are not happy about it. I don't know. I don't know if some people love it, but they hate it. And look, Pete, for everybody, we got new, what are these called, Tracy? Like koozies?
Starting point is 00:06:25 Koozies. And it's for a soda. So it's not, cause a lot of them are thin and you can only put in like either alcoholic beverages or Elanis basically. Or a very tall Red Bull. Or a very tall, but it has to be the right size Red Bull. That's right.
Starting point is 00:06:40 Cause otherwise these ones wiggle around in them. So yeah, so this one's great. This stays cold for 10 hours. And those things work, especially if wiggle around in them. So yeah, so you this one's great This stays cold for 10 hours and those things work Especially if you live in Florida and you're like wanting by the time you get halfway done. It's like warm So this is the new gift for the TLP And then we have Foundation Church ones Shop, huh, so hot. I feel like it's some fresh ones. It's very exciting. Especially for the summer. They'll be in the merch shop. It's so hot. I feel like it's hotter than normal.
Starting point is 00:07:07 Yep. Alrighty. Oh, don't tell me, don't talk to me about climate change, Vanessa. I'm not, I'm not going there. It's the ebb and flow. But it is warm out there. It is, it's hotter,
Starting point is 00:07:21 it's hotter right now than I think I've ever remembered it to be. Colder winter. Colder winter, colder winter, hotter summer. Okay, I remember moving out my dorm in Lakeland at the end of July, I mean, end of not July, end of April, and we would be dripping sweat. Yeah, but you were new though. So like anything's hot in comparison to what you move from.
Starting point is 00:07:44 Mass is like freaking freezing. Yeah, I don't know. It was like, it was bad. So, I don't know. I'll get, I mean, April was pretty hot, at least in Lakeland every year, all three years that I did that. Miserable.
Starting point is 00:07:58 No, it was 20 years ago. So maybe we're on the 20 year mark again. Now it's like the ebb and flow. Yeah, hot time again. I don't know, it's hot. There's's chairs over and go get a chair over there. Now roll out. El Nino? El Nino? There's both. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know which one it is, but I know there's like they're saying one of those was common. I don't know which one it is, but I know they're saying one of those was coming. I don't know. There's been crazy weather to biblical proportions, and I'm not kidding about that.
Starting point is 00:08:32 Biblical proportions with some of this weather. Okay. Come on, Jesus. I'm ready. Same here. Let's go. Same here, girl. Talia is shaking her head.
Starting point is 00:08:44 Yeah, I know. That's true. Same here girl. Talia's shaking her head. Yeah, I know it's true. I'm sorry Talia. I've lived life so. I know. Sorry about your luck sister. Norma's, Norma's, I'm ready to go. Aww, Norma. Oh man. Whatever. Okay. Okay. All right. Let's do the thing. All right. All right. Let's do the thing. All right, all right.
Starting point is 00:09:06 Let's do the thing and then we'll get to the first question because the questions for today are really, really good. I like them. All right, all right. I like them a lot. I like them a lot. All right, if you are on Rumble, what I need you to do is we're gonna start with Rumble today
Starting point is 00:09:18 because I want to. I want you to click repost and then I want you to say watch live with us. And then I want you to give a thumbs up because there's those two options right there. And then I want you to say watch live with us and then I want you to give a thumbs up because there's those two options right there and then I want you to just text in there even if you're watching the replay if I actually don't know what the option is for replay if there is a repost if there is please do that if you're watching the replay please say replay so we can come back
Starting point is 00:09:37 and see that and then if you have a question put the question with it say watching the replay and then send your question and I'll check the comments I usually get an email anyways but I'll check the comments. I usually get an email anyways. But I'll check them out, and we'll get them answered for you. Anne Marie says that it's cold. It's been 50s and 60s in New York right now. So sorry about that. My mom says it's been raining.
Starting point is 00:09:57 I saw a video that said, I think it was somewhere upstate New York or something that it has rained every single weekend since, like like November. Oh no. They've had one dry. Where? Massachusetts? No, I think it was New York. Every weekend?
Starting point is 00:10:11 Every weekend they've had either snow or rain. Oh no. Not fun. It's not good. Not good guys. So I'm sorry about that Anne-Marie. That really stinks. Oh my gosh. So moved to Florida. It's been very very very dry. Like so dry that our grass is not even green. But yeah, so if you could do that repost and all that good stuff for us, that'd be super helpful. If you have a comment where you're watching from, that'd
Starting point is 00:10:37 be awesome too. So if you're on YouTube, if you're not, if you are watching on rumble, but you don't know on YouTube, we're putting a bunch of shorts out. So if you are watching on rumble, but you don't know on YouTube We're putting a bunch of shorts out So if you haven't already subscribed to YouTube, please do if we get 50 more we get to do some more fun stuff So if you could do that, I'm gonna make a graphic soon and put that out But and I'm gonna encourage all of our ladies in the abide chat to go subscribe if they haven't yet Because we have some friends and they're gonna hook us up because I'd love to try something new And and then of course we have Facebook like share and comment and then head over to rumble if you're watching on blackrobe cool whatever do your thing that's our own platform so that we can always have
Starting point is 00:11:14 somewhere to go and we're not relying on anybody and then the audio podcast will come up later hello to our tick-tock people you can see both hope and me watching so we're glad that you're joining us. And if you head over to our profile, you can kind of see some of the other stuff that we love doing over there. All right, so if you have questions, you can send them in to askhope at hope hotline.com. You can find that in my profile on the whole pot line if you're watching on tik tok. And if you're listening, hopefully you had good listening ears,
Starting point is 00:11:46 askhope at hopehotline.com and you can send that in. We got some new graphics for, hey, it's Hope. We got the updated because we got 12.8 thousand views on one of our TikToks and Hope is dancing. Doing her dance, doing her dance. And we're at 181. So Hope has 181 followers and we have been working our little butts off doing these.
Starting point is 00:12:09 So we've had our first like viral like TikTok and it just keeps going up. So we are excited about that. Yeah, I mean, like we haven't really done it that long. No. So I'm gonna be honest with you. I thought it would take a little bit longer. Yeah, we did good. But that was you. I thought it would take a little bit longer. Yeah, we did good.
Starting point is 00:12:26 But that was like, I thought it would, you know what I actually thought would happen? Yeah. I actually thought it would go like that first one, we did 800. And then I thought the next one would be like 1500. I didn't know, like we've had two viral ones, just shy of 5,000 by like, I don't know, 40 views.
Starting point is 00:12:50 So one is shy of 5,000 and this other one's like almost 13,000 because we're not animals and we're not cooking and like all the things that they tell you, you have to do. Like we've not done any of that stuff. So literally the way we're doing it says you're gonna have to like, it's gonna take a long time to get the viewers,
Starting point is 00:13:12 like the people who follow you. But then I'm like, okay, well, I'm in it for the long haul anyway. It's kind of like the stock market. I'm not pulling out anytime soon. So I'm in it for the long haul. But to be honest with you, I mean, I literally thought it would go small like that.
Starting point is 00:13:28 And you kept telling me it doesn't go, but I'll be honest with you. I mean, not that I didn't believe you. I just thought we were such a different genre. And we're sticking to our niche too. Usually people do something kind of like crazy and throw something out there, but then you don't even get your people.
Starting point is 00:13:41 Like we're looking for the people that enjoy this stuff. Which they told us not to do that. Cause listen, we're learning people. We are. It is. And it's always changing. As everybody knows that studies TikTok and all these social media trends and YouTube,
Starting point is 00:13:56 it's always changing. Always changing. Always changing. But we have a method to the madness. We have a bigger picture here. We do. Yeah. That people don't understand.
Starting point is 00:14:05 Exactly. And we have the Lord on our side. That's right, people. I mean. That's right. That's right. Whatever our hands touch shall prosper. That's right. I do pray that.
Starting point is 00:14:14 I know, it's the Bible. Found a favor wherever we go. But there's a bigger picture here for TikTok. So like, I don't know. Like again, I weren't in it for the long haul, but I just didn't know. I was pretty shocked when it like, Tracy kept saying I would do it that way. And you're consistent, like you post every single day,
Starting point is 00:14:34 your content stays the same. Like you said, you have a niche and you stay true to it. AI likes that stuff. Yeah, it does. And then Tracy's always like, what are we about if we do Yeah, what about if we do that? I'm up for anything I know yeah those sticks and what we're doing Yeah, so but it's just it just kind of yeah, it was just spicing things up a little bit. Yeah, it is fun It is next you have to do one of those viral like dance
Starting point is 00:15:01 That's not my niche That's not my niche Vanessa that I I'll do that one with you. That's not my niche, Vanessa. I have Norma and Taya trying to memorize. Well, then you do the samba one for us. On the whole pot line. Yeah, there's a trend with like doing the samba. Let's do it. We're doing it.
Starting point is 00:15:18 Not with me, but let's let you. Yes, exactly. I bet Taya could learn it real quick. Oh, yeah, probably. It's all in the hips. Norma? All the hips. You got your, it's all in the hips. Norma? All the hips. You got your hips?
Starting point is 00:15:26 You got your hips today, Norma? The samba dance? Do you know the samba dance? The samba trend on TikTok? The samba trend on... No? I'll have to show it to you. OK, are you up for learning the dances for the Hope Hotline?
Starting point is 00:15:40 Oh, we could take turns and then we could take turns and see who does the best samba. Well, we know what's going to happen. It's the Puerto Rican. Puerto Rican. I mean, it would be you, Kelly. So are you a good Samba person? Oh dear Lord, it's in the head. Look, what you're forgetting is it's in her blood.
Starting point is 00:16:04 It's in her DNA. It's like literally in her DNA. Vanessa's got the Samba DNA. I came out of the womb doing the Samba. You got that right. With her tambourine. Cheer, oh my. Frightening. It's true, it's true. Okay, I'm gonna finish.
Starting point is 00:16:19 So Hope has 181 and we got one that like 12.8. You can see in the corner as proof. And then Hope hotline, we got over a hundred. So we have 104. Oh my gosh, we broke a hundred. We broke a hundred, yay. And then Natalie's coming in on Friday. So if you have any questions, we have a bunch of them.
Starting point is 00:16:35 But if you do have something like you really, really wanna know, send it in and we'll try to get it to it. You're talking really fast. And then also Instagram and we're alive. We're on Instagram, but we're not live on Instagram. So you definitely follow us over there. This is an old screenshot,
Starting point is 00:16:49 but definitely follow us on Instagram. You know we're on Facebook because we're live right now. You know we have a YouTube, like I said, before Black Robe is our own personal platform. We have audio podcasts, we're everywhere. So if you aren't on one of these things, if you're on another, we're probably there too. And then last but not least, I know Sharon, if you're watching, I of these things, if you're on another, we're probably there too. And then last but not least,
Starting point is 00:17:05 I know Sharon, if you're watching, I know, yep, you are. I know we're working on the zip-ups. I don't, the color and our logo and the textures, so we're working on it. But, and it's gonna be good because listen, I know that it's getting hot. By the time it's ready, it'll be fall. But also look, like, is it's cold where we go?
Starting point is 00:17:23 I know. This church, if you attend this church, you are gonna be fall. But also look, like, it's cold where we go. I know. This church, if you attend this church, you are gonna be freezing. If you walk into Walmart or Target. It's freezing. Target's freezing. My home's actually cold now, because we have new windows.
Starting point is 00:17:34 So it actually gets cold in there. It's the weirdest thing. What's life like having new windows? The weirdest thing ever. Because it's literally, we don't even have all our siding up yet, which is starting very soon, praise the Lord. The house across the street,
Starting point is 00:17:46 the whole house got built before our house got put back together and they just started like a few months ago. That's bad. That's pretty wild. Yeah. But we'll see who stands the test of time. True. That's saying something.
Starting point is 00:17:58 When you're in, when you are required to get insurance on your home when you build it and live in it, but they're not, and instantaneously, but they're not required to pay out so that the home that they required you to insure is not, a house gets built faster than they pay out. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:18 But it'll be done very, very soon, praise the Lord. Yeah, so, but it's cool even in my house. So it's nice to have these like little, like something to layer. And so that's the goal for this next. I'm serious. I'm not even joking. And then by the time that it probably will be out and then it'll be fall time and you know. That is true. Then it will be not fall here. No, because I'm already excited for fall. I'm hot. I'm hot. Where are you going in the fall? Because not Florida. No, but I'm just saying it'm hot. Where are you going in the fall? Cause you're not Florida.
Starting point is 00:18:45 No, but I'm just saying it'll be cooler than what it is here. I hate, I mean, I hate the summer. Really? It's so hot. I mean, I will, unless God tells me, I'm not moving from Florida, but I do hate, it's like people hate the winter up North. Well, you're stuck inside for six months.
Starting point is 00:19:03 Well, I'm not stuck inside cause I can actually go outside without dying. Like you guys will get hypothermia and die fall over. I can actually live down here even though I hate how hot it gets, which is you guys are up North, you're flipping freezing and you really can't go outside. So you're stuck inside for six months, miserable.
Starting point is 00:19:23 I'm stuck inside or, well, yeah, for like six months, opposite. People always say that to me. How do you do it? It's so hot. I'm like literally like, how do you do it? Yeah, it is. It's so cold.
Starting point is 00:19:37 Yeah. You just stay inside more. You stay in the air conditioning, just like you said. And if you have the pool. Or travel. Yeah, or travel. And go up north. Yeah, just like you travel down And if you have the pool. Or travel. Yeah, or travel. Go up north. Yeah, just like you travel down here for.
Starting point is 00:19:48 Snowbird. For the heat. So maybe you need to think about a fall trip. Yeah, I can't, tell them I'll go. I might have to go with girls or something. I know some girls, yeah. Hey. Change in the leaves.
Starting point is 00:20:02 By then we're gonna have so many followers on TikTok. We could just do a live on TikTok. Yeah. And it will be sponsored. And somebody will be paying our way. How do you know this? The Lord. The Lord told me.
Starting point is 00:20:16 Download from the Lord. Okay, now that everything's for crazy. What's that scripture? Yeah, it is. Call those things that be not as though they are. Thank you. Is that not what as though they are one. Thank you Is that not what I just did yes, it's the power of the imagination The imagination it always starts here first it always starts It's good and bad out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks right
Starting point is 00:20:35 I think so is death and life are in the power of the tongue and those who love it will lead it through and then Feel like a hippie. Oh, it's this. Yes. I am so embarrassed. I love it. So I have a friend who lives in Washington state. Okay.
Starting point is 00:21:04 Who has a very serious job. And I'm not kidding you lives in Washington state, who has a very serious job. And I'm not kidding you, very serious job. Washington state. Washington state. Okay. She lives right outside of Seattle. Like her job is rough. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:21:15 Rough. Okay. Like she is in the inner workings of people's homes and it's not good. Ooh, like social work? Ugh. Yeah, that is tough. She said the other day she was watching the podcast and she was having to go into a serious situation and the whole entire, on the drive there,
Starting point is 00:21:33 she was watching the podcast and she was crying, laughing. And she was like, I had to walk in there and be serious. Oh my gosh. It's serious business. I wonder which episode she was watching. I know which one was it. I said, don't watch Fridays or Wednesdays. I said, we took a hard left turn, girl. Please don't watch Fridays or Wednesdays. I said we took a hard left turn girl. Please don't watch Wednesdays. True, true. You never know. You never know. You never know
Starting point is 00:21:54 what's gonna happen on these things. We do have great questions today. We do have great questions. So are you telling me to move on to them? I will get on to it right now. I'm really excited about them. In other words, we only have 40 minutes left. Get on it. Correct. First question. Progressive Christianity has become a growing movement that emphasizes inclusion, social justice, and reinterpretation of Scripture through a modern lens. But what exactly does it teach and how does it its core beliefs align or conflict with historic biblical Christianity? Can a Christian embrace progressive ideas while staying faithful to the authority of the Bible?" You know, I really don't think, like unless you're like my age, Maybe you guys' age. Wrong way. Maybe you guys' age. Natalia.
Starting point is 00:22:52 You got, I think after you're, what are you guys, just turned 40? I'll be turning 40. This year. You're turning 40? You just turned 27? Which is another way to say 40. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:09 I think, I think it pretty much ends with you guys, maybe not even, but because it only depends on the church you grew up in. But if you're younger, if you're in your 30s, somewhere in your 30s, usually early 30s, forget about it. Most people don't even know what progressive Christianity is because they grew up in it. So they think that's real Christianity.
Starting point is 00:23:33 Whereas versus me in my 50s, almost 60, I'm 58, right? So I grew up in like hardcore Christianity. And I'm not saying hardcore, like if you danced, you're going to hell. I didn't grow up in a church that preached that stuff, even though I was very holiness based, but Vanessa, you did, like you couldn't do squat. And then I grew up and I wore a dress until I was 10, like dress, we didn't cut our hair or anything like that.
Starting point is 00:24:04 But I still didn't grow up. Like if you danced. If you breathe the wrong way, you're going straight to hell. Yeah. Skip, so. Do not pasco. Right, yeah. So bad.
Starting point is 00:24:14 Do you know how now everyone's like promised heaven. It's like hyper grace. Oh yeah. It was the opposite of that. It was like everyone promised hell. Good luck getting to heaven. For sure. And now see, I know,
Starting point is 00:24:27 and I think that's one of the reasons why we have gone so extreme to the opposite direction. Balance people. There is such a thing. Full gospel. It's called the Bible. It's called the full Bible. Not man's made up Bible,
Starting point is 00:24:48 but the actual legitimate inspired word of God. But I think like there's so many people that are younger that you literally, like the ones that come to the church, they're like, what is this scripture you speak of? I've never heard of it. And they're not like from like Mormonism, they're not from Judaism, they're not like, they literally, they're not Catholic,
Starting point is 00:25:18 which my husband grew up Catholic, and he's like, we didn't read the Bible. The priest told us he'd read it for us. Like these are people who legitimately grew up in evangelical churches and they know absolutely nothing at all. So for me, like the progressive Christianity is pervasive. It is what people are being taught and what they're actually walking in. And it's not like what we teach. Like, a lot of these churches just, they buy their messages off the internet from, what's the name of that? Sermons.com. They go to, sermons.com, Associated Related Churches website. It's
Starting point is 00:26:03 sermons.com or Associated Related Churches website. It's sermons.com or Associated Related Churches is also a place that people go and buy messages from too. Yeah, that. But I don't think sermons.com is affiliated with it. They're two different. Yeah, they're two different. So people don't even make up their own messages anymore. They just, they have a year.
Starting point is 00:26:24 What happens in these churches, and listen, both Vanessa and Tracy have gone to them, so you can say whether or not I'm wrong or not, but these progressive churches, which is mostly of what you guys were finding in and around the area every time you went, correct? Correct. Yes. So what they do is, at the beginning of the end of the year,
Starting point is 00:26:45 they plan out a year in review of what they're gonna preach for the whole entire year. So 2025, what they were gonna preach for 2025, it was presented sometime at the end of 2024 to the board. And then the board approves it. And then that's nuts to me because that's completely crazy to me. Where does the Holy Spirit fit into that
Starting point is 00:27:10 where he's telling the pastor what's good for the church and what he wants the church to know for that. I've never grown up where you pulled a message from the internet instead of the Lord giving the message to the pastor. Right. Yeah. I asked kind of that. Who's the shepherd the pastor. Right. Yeah. I asked kind of that. Who's the shepherd?
Starting point is 00:27:26 Yeah. Right. Go ahead. I asked. Chet GPT? No. When I attended a church like this, I was like, OK, so all of the churches do the same message? And they're like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:40 And I'm like, so what happens if pastor so-and-so has something else that he wants to say? It's like the same exact message. Like, no, no, no, it's not the same. Like there's just a message that's given and then they can, like the pastor of the church can decide like how it's preached. And I'm like, yeah, according to the outline, right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:00 So it is basically the same. Yeah. Right, and I was like, okay. And so I also went to a church similar to that in Alabama. So it is basically the same. Yeah. Right. And I was like, okay. So I also went to a church similar to that in Alabama. And the way the pastor explained it to us, cause we didn't know we were signing up for that. And so we sat with them just to kind of like
Starting point is 00:28:15 pick the rain and he said, it's just like a curriculum. We use a curriculum for our messages. Are you kidding me? Okay. We didn't last very long there. Yeah. Yeah. This isn't school.
Starting point is 00:28:32 I know. Like who's, you're not a shepherd then. I know. Right. They're no longer a church anymore. Are you kidding me? Yeah, no, I'm not. That's sad. They have dissolved. What year did you go?
Starting point is 00:28:48 Oh, Norma, that's not really that sad. That is true, Norma. I know. Good point. That's not good. Almost 12 years ago or 13. No, longer than that. Did I meet these pastors? They can't, they can't. These aren't the ones that I met? Mm-mm. Oh, wow. Interesting. So way before COVID. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:11 Way before. Way before forever, but yeah. Is this the one that sat and watched Stephen Frederick memorize every single thing that he did, his jokes and laughs? The grunts, even the stories. He didn't even change the family stories. He just claimed them as his own.
Starting point is 00:29:29 Are you serious? Yeah. Holy moly. No way. That's extreme. Yeah. And then he got caught. Right.
Starting point is 00:29:37 Oh my gosh. Well, yeah. And that's when we sat with him. Because we were the children's pastors there. And so we never sat really in service. We were always back with the children's pastors there. And so we never sat really in service. We were always back with the children. And so when we stumbled upon it, we were like, whoa, what's going on?
Starting point is 00:29:51 Let's hear him out. Maybe he has a good reason. Exactly. And he's like, well, you know how in children's ministry, you have an outline and sometimes you use curriculum. Well, we do the same on a Sunday for our own service in, you know, I didn't even do that when I touched. Yeah. And we don't do that here. We don't have a curriculum here. We didn't. We also didn't. It was Jeff's,
Starting point is 00:30:16 like he would bring a message every week, but he was so used to the people that he had hired before to use curriculum. And so he was just like, it's just the same thing. And I was just like, oh, okay. And we then gave our two weeks notice soon after that. Cause when you know better, you do better at that point. We just could not align ourselves with that and be able to sleep at night.
Starting point is 00:30:43 And so that's what actually brought us to Florida. Holy moly. Wow. Yeah. That's interesting. Well, progressive Christianity for people who don't know, because like, it comes in all shapes and sizes, but, and you guys, since I've never, like, I've never even
Starting point is 00:31:07 attended a progressive church in my whole life. I mean, I've gone to ones that were weak and kind of like there was sin in the camp for the leadership, but, and that's bad, okay? But it's way different than going to one that is like progressive. That's another whole thing because a lot of times there is leadership issues as well as this. Like it's crazy. So stop me.
Starting point is 00:31:46 I feel like there's also levels to progressive churches. Like, cause there are some that are to the extreme that invite and are like tolerant towards the LGBTQ, B T Q, whatever. Which is yeah. And then there are other progressive churches that necessarily will outwardly say that they're okay with that lifestyle. But they also don't touch on it either. They're like Switzerland.
Starting point is 00:32:16 Right. And sometimes not even Switzerland. They're totally accepting of it. They just don't vocalize. But you can tell they are because of the things that they allow in their congregation as well as the people that they allow in leadership to hold positions. So it's very dangerous. But I looked this up and you know who I looked it up from? My buddy. Tracy's good friend. Tracy's best friend. My bestie. Chat GPT. We gotta think of a name for chat GPT. I call him chat sometimes. Chat. But it's chat.
Starting point is 00:32:58 Who also picked my color, my nail polish. Oh my gosh. You know what's just kinda weird? Because you know she's a blue girl. Mm-hmm. How in the world? I said, this is what I did. I was confused because I didn't know what I wanted and then I asked, I was like, I'm just gonna ask Chachi BT. So I circled three of the colors on the little nail thing that they give you. I circled them and said, which one should I pick? And they said, well, what's your skin color and all that. I said, well, I like to be in muted tones, but I want like a bright color.
Starting point is 00:33:24 And so it gave me a breakdown of all the three colors and like. I said, well, I like to be in muted tones, but I want like a bright color. And so it gave me a breakdown of all the three colors and like why I would like them, but it told me to go with this color. And do you love it? And I love it. I love it so much that I got a matching hydro flask, hydro jug.
Starting point is 00:33:36 You bought that on purpose because of that color? It just arrived this morning. Oh. I'm inspired. Yes, she does. Norma, it's my girl. But it's. Norma's chat.
Starting point is 00:33:49 Oh, I like Conrad. Conrad is Norma's chat. Conrad, cute. That is cute. I feel like he's like a older British guy. Oh, older British. Older and British, that's why you got the name. All right.
Starting point is 00:34:00 That's actually a really good name. That's super cute. I just stick with chat, so. I like that. Conrad. Hmm. Interesting. OK. I'm talking about it.
Starting point is 00:34:13 Might be actually, apropos, just shorten his name to Con. Con. Oh. He might get offended by that. He might. I'm offended by it. He's Con artist. Con artist. Okay, well what did Chad say?
Starting point is 00:34:28 Okay, so the core characteristics of progressive Christianity are, because I didn't know even all of this to be certain to, and then I'm going to add one to it, but emphasis on social justice. So the emphasize on social justice, which is really what the Democratic Party, a lot of times where we're seeing a far left movement. Like back in my day, Democrats were like blue collar workers. They were like blue blood. They were like J of Ks, right?
Starting point is 00:35:01 They believed in the sanctity of life. Their core beliefs were very much conservative. And they actually probably would be considered Republicans today versus, that's why I think we saw a lot of turning on that party for this election, to be honest with you, not to get too political. But I do believe that there is like, like for if you're a Republican, there's a difference between being a conservative and being a Republican. There really is. And then even in the Democratic Party, there's a difference between being a liberal and being a socialist. Two different things.
Starting point is 00:35:47 I think that there's like this divide in both parties. And one in both of them are so diametrically opposite of each other in a lot of ways. But I find this to be true even in the Christian world. It's very much like the political world as far as I'm concerned, but stop me and just say, hey, hold on, I want to add something to that, okay? If you think of something. So the emphasis on social justice for a progressive Christian church advocates for the marginalized, which is the poor, which we do that, like LGBTQ plus individuals, racial minorities, we do that too, like, which I don't understand this because like anybody, any church that believes
Starting point is 00:36:38 in any kind of in any way, shape or form of any race or any color or any gender, except for if you're like one that doesn't even like believes there's multiple genders, but most churches that believe in two genders and I mean, we're all like fighting for the rights of the people that biblically have been done wrong or should be done right by, right? I don't think, or to be treated fairly or racially equal, I don't think that's for me, like that's all like a no brainer, correct? But how is that more so with the progressive? Cause I don't see it than a normal church,
Starting point is 00:37:21 the LGBTQ thing, 100%. The other two things, yeah. What's up with that besides having car washes for free for people? And usually the people that get the free car wash aren't the poor. Right. The ones that are entitled. Right. Same with the food banks. Yeah. Yeah. So many people that don't need a food bank go to the food bank and it just takes me off. And they make the rounds to the different ones. It's not good.
Starting point is 00:37:54 So the people who actually do need it, don't get it. Right. Right. It's just crazy. It also is inclusivity, which often affirms same-sex relationships. I do agree with this. Same-sex relationships ordains women and LGBTQ clergy. I think women should be ordained.
Starting point is 00:38:15 So that part I don't get, but I know that there are some denominations that believe that women shouldn't be pastors, but I mean, that doesn't say that in the Bible. I know people will take certain scriptures, but if they study those scriptures out, which I used to think that those scriptures meant that women shouldn't be, but I was wrong about that. And once I actually studied it out, I was like, well, you're wrong.
Starting point is 00:38:38 That's not what that means. And literally studying doesn't mean you just read the verse. It means like you dig deep and you understand what was going on in that time and what the Greek means and why it was said. Like then you find out you're missing it on that. That is not what it was saying.
Starting point is 00:38:55 It supports interfaith dialogue. What does that mean? Interfaith dialogue. Do you guys know what that means? Cause I have no idea what that means. Is that like embracing other like religions? Like Gandhi, because I know lots of people were saying Gandhi was actually saved.
Starting point is 00:39:14 Is that what you're talking about? I think so, that's what I believe what that means. It's people from different religions talking to each other in a respectful and peaceful way. The goal is to learn from each other, build relationships and work together to make the world a better place. So I asked Chachi BT what the difference was between Pentecostal Christians and progressive
Starting point is 00:39:37 Christians. Okay. And then they wrote it in a very nice way, like very high level. I was like, take it down to eighth grade level. So this is what it says, this says Pentecostal believe in Bible, the Bible is the God's, nope, Pentecostals believe the Bible is God's perfect word. They think everything in it is true and should be followed. Progressive Christians believe the Bible is important,
Starting point is 00:39:59 but they may think that some parts are more like stories or need to be updated today. Which explains the next questions then that people were asking. Okay, so then, beliefs. Pentecostal believe in the Trinity, Godfather, Jesus, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and that Jesus is the only way to be saved. Progressive Christians may believe different things. They often focus more on being kind and fair than on exact beliefs. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:24 That sounds about right. My chat, GBT said. Yeah, please. What are we calling him? Conrad. My Conrad said, they have a progressive Christianity emphasizes or emphasis is placed on content contextual and metaphorical interpretation, especially
Starting point is 00:40:42 around difficult or controversial passages. So, wow. I think Pentecostals, the Bible is seen as a historical and spiritual, oh, I'm sorry, no, progressive, see the Bible as a historical and spiritual document, not necessarily as a literal, the literal word of God. Now that's, that makes sense too. Yeah, it's more metaphorical than anything. Now, the churches you went to, did they preach like that or did they not preach like that? So it was whatever the ARC Association The Associated Related Churches? Yeah, is what they gave them.
Starting point is 00:41:31 Now, did that, was it very like subliminal, progressive preaching or was it like? I think that it was hyper grace and they focused on love. That was with me. I don't remember any messages. I don't remember ever being like, that's too close to this kind of stuff. This says progressive Christians support LGBTQ people,
Starting point is 00:41:51 women's rights, including abortions and other modern idea. But none of the ones I went to even touched that. They were really big in a foster care, very big into pregnancy centers, all this kind of stuff. And never touched on the gay stuff. No. Never touched on the Holy Spirit, like speaking in tongues and stuff like that either.
Starting point is 00:42:10 Never really touched on sin even, or like consequences for, you know, like. And I know they would preach on the tithe message 10% of the year. So they would like tithe the tithe message, if that makes sense. That's how they decided to preach on it like that when they would so there wasn't too much. Interesting. It was very seeker friendly. Yeah. And like new belief like they cater to the new believer. This one yeah exactly. This one says
Starting point is 00:42:42 progressive Christians may believe God loves everyone, and they don't always say that you must believe in Jesus to be saved, which that's not any of the ones I went to. So this must be like, this must be like, what's the Unitarian or something? Oh, the Universalist? Let me tell you. Okay, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:43:01 Because you guys are hitting the nail on the head. Yeah. These are the churches that they're listing. But I was wondering like, if you guys had any of this stuff. Mm-hmm. Some of it, but not really. But most of the grace,
Starting point is 00:43:16 because it says- It's the hyper grace. It's the hyper grace, yeah. There's literally nothing that you can do to separate you from God's love. And they never say, but you can. You know what I mean? There's always that like, there's nothing you can do. It wasn't the full gospel.
Starting point is 00:43:27 It was like the part, like just the nice fluffy gospel. Right, and it wasn't even really once saved, always saved. Never even talked about that either. It was just like, there's nothing you can do. So there's no reason for it to be once saved, always saved because everybody's saved. Right, right, pretty much. I mean, as soon as you accept Jesus.
Starting point is 00:43:46 No, as soon as you, what is it? What is it, hope? For a start and a beginning. That's it. That's all you need. Interesting. That's how it felt to me, but I was already like saved for the most part.
Starting point is 00:44:01 Like, I mean, at this point in my life, cause I'm like thinking. Yeah, I was too. Like I came from like Pentecostal background. Right. So this, that was, it just didn't sit well. Right. Yeah. We didn't last very long in those churches.
Starting point is 00:44:16 I know. I can't imagine why. My gosh. So here's the thing, I'm gonna tell you with the denominations, but this is funny because the focus on the teachings of Jesus, especially on love, compassion, which is what you're saying, and non-violence, often more than substitution, yeah, airy, atonement or judgment. But then, open theology is what it says.
Starting point is 00:44:39 Willingness to question traditional doctrines, hell, original sin, the virgin birth. Okay. Which is what you're saying, you guys didn't, but the others have, correct? That's what you were trying to say. The other, like this universalism and things like that, that's them. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:59 And they're the ones that have the women pastors that are gay. Or yeah, have like the clergymen that are gay. Right, right. Which are the United Church of Christ. Okay. These are the denominations. Yes, yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:10 United Church of Christ, what is that? It's called UCC, United Church of Christ. What is that? That's not like Scientology, right? Is that Lutheran? Is that Lutheran? Scientology is Scientology. No, United Church of Christ, is it Lutheran?
Starting point is 00:45:23 I don't know. No, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. ELCA is the other one. So this can't be that because that's another one. Lutherans had like gay clergymen. Episcopal Church, they definitely do and that's in here. Is Methodist in there? Presbyterian United Methodist Church, which is in the transition of moving in this direction and people are dropping like flies from the Methodist denomination. I have a family member who was a, I would say pastor, like he was a chaplain
Starting point is 00:46:01 and then he transferred over and became the for a huge Methodist Church. He was the pastor of it. I don't know do they call him pastors? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. And he totally is always been progressive. I've never known him not to be progressive. Like he's always been very... he's a socialist, socially on the Democrat side. Interesting. Yeah, that's frightening. And he basically told our family that he went to seminary, so we didn't, and that the Bible changes. And then when he was told, that's not what it says, it's the same yesterday, today and
Starting point is 00:46:50 forever. Well, and I paraphrase this, and it's super nice person. Like when I say this, very, very nice person, but we were, we're not really educated. We don't get it kind of thing. Yeah. Long thing to say to my dad. The Unitarian Universalist Christian Fellowship. What is the United Church of Christ, Tracy? It says the United Church of Christ is a Christian church that began in the United Church of Christ, I'll put myself on, is a Christian church that began in the United States in 1957. It was formed when several different Christian groups came together and created one United
Starting point is 00:47:31 Church. They believe the same thing as Christian churches do, believe in God, following Jesus and reading the Bible, but it also has some unique beliefs. They welcome everyone no matter their race, gender, background, or sexual orientation, supports LGBTQ rights and says that God's love includes all people. You know, there's a lot more, but I think it's its own thing. UCC Church is what they call it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:57 That's interesting. It says they feel like other Protestant churches singing, praying, reading the Bible, and hearing a sermon. But they obviously have some other stuff. So it's Protestant. It says it feels like it feels like other Protestant churches by singing, praying, reading the Bible. Their UC, their motto is that they may all be one. Working together in love.
Starting point is 00:48:21 Interesting. That's super interesting. So dangerous. So dangerous. Holy cow. Like if you are, if you are saved under that gospel, like you're, you're not saved. Nope. But you think you are.
Starting point is 00:48:37 Yep. And they're leading you straight to hell. Yep. I don't want to be those pastors and those clergymen before God on Judgment Day. They obviously don't read the Bible. No. What it says to the people who are preaching and teaching, how much more you're accountable. Yeah. That's scary. That is scary.
Starting point is 00:48:57 The second part of his question was, can a Christian embrace progressive ideals while staying faithful to the authority of the Bible? I'm gonna clean my response up versus my friends that I love and they would say it a different way, but I say heck to the no. Holy mackerel, how in the world? And the reason I think people ask this question is because in their heart of hearts, they really know, like to believe this theology is diametrically different
Starting point is 00:49:38 than really what the true word of God says. Yeah. Like it is completely opposite of what the Bible says. So I think the reason why people like, first of all, everybody wants to feel open-minded, that they embrace all things, that they don't want to create conflict. They want to be able to go with the flow and never really ruffle any feathers. But that's not Jesus. Actually, that's opposite of what Jesus did.
Starting point is 00:50:19 So in order to be his follower, it means like you got to like, you can't go with the flow and you can't say things that are wrong are right. And you might have to create some conflict and confrontation because he did. I mean, you don't get to be open-minded. You don't.
Starting point is 00:50:43 You get to do what the word of God says and that's a dictatorship. God is not like this all-encompassing, all-embracing, you know, come as you are. You can come, but repentance follows, which means you go the opposite direction in the way that you were originally going. And you change and you go his way. And his way is not inclusivity. It's not. It's very narrow. Narrow is the way and few there be that find it. But broad is the road to destruction.
Starting point is 00:51:22 I just don't, I like, you wonder why do people teach this bad doctrine? Is it because they want to live like the devil and believe that they're okay and they need others to do that too so that they don't feel like they're alone? I don't know, I don't understand why you would preach the opposite of what the true word of God says. I think it's that. Yeah. I do think they wanna justify their life decisions. Yeah, cause you know what?
Starting point is 00:51:53 Like when I was really bad, when I was really bad, I always, yes ma'am, absolutely. When I was really bad, I used to like, I would bring people with me or I would surround myself with people who were either doing the same exact thing or talk them into, because I'm a great salesperson, talk them into doing it with me so that I wasn't guilty by myself.
Starting point is 00:52:23 And then nobody would be holding me accountable for my bad behavior, because we'd all be doing it together. Right. Right. That's it. Yeah. That's why scripture is clear. Good morals, bad company corrupts good character.
Starting point is 00:52:39 And you are gonna be the company you keep at some point. True. You hang around the good ones, you'll become good. You hang around the bad ones, well, you're going to head in that direction. It's just the facts. Nobody's strong enough. Nobody. What is that? Straight facts.
Starting point is 00:52:56 Straight facts. It's true. I don't know. So like I'd be scared to death if I was preaching opposite of the word of God. I'd be scared to death if I was following and under the leadership of people who were, you know, not preaching the true word of God. I don't know, girls, let's say you.
Starting point is 00:53:22 Yeah, no, I think it is. I think they justify their actions. I think some people are delusional. Then they just believe what they were told. And I think people don't read their Bible. I think some people get into ministry for wrong reasons, and then they just stay in it because of the wrong reasons. And there's so many things, but it's like, if you really believe in God, like, aren't't you a little nervous about your bad decisions and reasonings?
Starting point is 00:53:47 So the verse that popped into my head just now when you were talking about, you know, I'm concerned for these pastors. Matthew 18.6, if anyone causes one of these little ones, those who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Ouch. Yeah. What does seven say?
Starting point is 00:54:16 Woe to the world. Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble. Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come. And people don't even know what a millstone is. Most of the time, they literally don't know, but millstones, huge.
Starting point is 00:54:35 They were used for crushing grain. I mean, they are huge. You couldn't even lift it. Some of them are smaller, some of them very large, but either way, even the small ones, like it's worse than having your feet. Like back in the day, the mafia would take trash cans or buckets and fill the buckets up with cement and your feet would be in the bucket as the cement would get hard. And then they toss you over the bridge. It's rough. It's
Starting point is 00:55:05 better for you to do that than lead someone to stumble. Yikes. Those buckets are far less than what a millstone is and you can't get out of those buckets. So can you imagine a millstone? It's frightening man. Scary business but people just don't think of the concept, I'm a forward thinker. I'm always thinking, this decision here, what does that look like later down the road? How does this affect me? And like, how does this affect others?
Starting point is 00:55:39 Like, is this positive or negative? Like you gotta like, you can't live in the now, your decisions, what you make now? I learned this from screwing up my life in my early 20s. And I realized I probably should have thought about what this was like living in the now isn't the greatest for living in the later. Because looking what later looks like
Starting point is 00:56:00 after you lived in the now and you never thought about the future, you're like, that was dumb. Yeah. And for other people, like you said, it's not all about you. I'm like, people are so selfish and so self-focused. People think they're the main character. I know, I'm like, you know there's other people
Starting point is 00:56:14 in your life, right? Like other people that like- Care about you or you're hurting. Right. Because you wanna be selfish. So stop being selfish. And then people are like, then their brain's trick and then they think they're actually like,
Starting point is 00:56:27 well, I care about those people. And then it just becomes this like mess. And it's just like, just be a servant to Christ. Just try that. And then live your best life. Cause then it will be. Yeah, but that's what a lot of people don't realize. They feel like they're giving up something
Starting point is 00:56:41 if they become a follower of Jesus. What you're failing to realize is all the things you gain by becoming a follower. Like peace, nobody has peace. No one does. Like talk to anybody, go up to somebody random and be like, how much peace do you have in your life? And they're like, I don't even know what that is.
Starting point is 00:56:57 Do you know why people struggle with just sleeping even? Right. Well, because they feed on the drama. Yeah. They feed on the drama. Like they love the drama. Either they feed on the drama. Yeah. They feed on the drama. Like they love the drama. Either they love watching the drama or they love being a part of the drama.
Starting point is 00:57:11 But what you really don't realize is it gets old real fast. Real fast. And eventually you're not just a spectator anymore. You're actually a participant. Cause you can only spectate for so long until you're drug into it. And that's a mess Every time. Every time. Every time. If you haven't got to that place yet it's coming for you. It's gonna happen. It is coming for you. I'm a hypocrite right now. You know why? Why? Confess your sins unto one another. We'll do the Catholic thing.
Starting point is 00:57:42 Yes, I'm feeling like a hypocrite right now. Cause you know what? You know what I'm a little addicted to right now? Is the things that, Vanessa was trying to explain to me that I could not understand what you were talking about on TikTok that you love to listen to. The ones, the cheaters and the, the cheaters and the first daters,
Starting point is 00:57:59 like the second dater that won't call back. Like the parts, like the different parts. I'm addicted. I'm addicted. Wait, what is it? Do I know it? And there's part one, part two, part three, part four. If there's like a parts.
Starting point is 00:58:11 Oh, oh, oh, knowing the parts. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. But it's this radio show. It's Jubal and, Brooklyn Jubal in the morning. I know what you're talking about now. Oh my gosh. And it's drama people.
Starting point is 00:58:29 But how they figure out this stuff, like these, why these people won't go back on second dates, why these people are cheating, how they figure that out, like, um, like... We have our own person right here. She'll find you. First name only. I'm just telling you. I'm a hypocrite right here. She'll find you first name only. I'm just telling you, I'm a, I'm a hypocrite right now. I'm feeling, I'm feeling convicted and I have to confess my sin. I'm proud of you. You felt convicted so fast, so fast and then you repented and then I'm not changing though. Okay. You're not repented. She's not repented. Listen,
Starting point is 00:59:00 I hate, I, I, I, I need a digital detox. If you looked at my TikTok, it's pretty much all broken, broken jubilant in the morning. Oh my God. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding.
Starting point is 00:59:15 I'm just kidding. You know what it is? Oh my gosh. Tom thinks I'm crazy. Which I am. If you look at my TikTok, you see a lot of animal, like farm.
Starting point is 00:59:26 I watch a lot of farm. I love farm videos. Okay, a lot of donkeys. Okay. A lot of donkeys, like horses. The other thing is I like to watch horses get reshoed. Me too. I don't know what it is about it.
Starting point is 00:59:41 Or when they find an infection. Tom thinks I'm weird. It is weird. I've never seen one with an infection, I don't think. Oh, yes. I watched the weed whacking and the mowing. SB lawn. The pool ones? The pool ones?
Starting point is 00:59:52 I follow SB lawn. Yeah. Have you seen the pool ones where they're like pouring? I love the pool. Oh, so good. They're cleaning the pools. Yeah. So good. I don't watch people cleaning their houses
Starting point is 01:00:03 cause I don't want to clean and it compels me to get up off my butt and clean. It motivates you. It is. It's very motivating. I don't want people cleaning their houses because I don't want to clean. And it compels me to get up off my butt and clean. It motivates you. It is, it's very motivating. I watched the stay at home dad with he has kids. And his wife is no longer alive, correct? Okay, there's a different guy. And he's super sweet.
Starting point is 01:00:21 He's super sweet. There's, I mean, I don't know. Like I like anything that's fast forward, running fast. I watch a girl do laundry, like making money. There's another girl that I watch that goes grocery shopping for people. She dashes, door dashes. She does a lot of grocery shopping. It's, I gotta make $800 in five days for my rent.
Starting point is 01:00:50 So did you hear what you said? So you like watching people create and document, not create. Isn't that interesting? Most people like watching people document their life, not what they're creating. So like creating like, we've created this. No, I don't like that.
Starting point is 01:01:08 Yeah, and that's so funny. But I like seeing people, I like seeing people work hard. Right. Yeah, yeah. And like their everyday lives. Everyday lives. Yeah, right, right. Like doing it to work with you.
Starting point is 01:01:20 I wanna see what you're doing. Oh, right. I don't want you to see what I do. I wanna see what you do. That's an idea. No, I don't want people to see what I do. I want to see what you do. That's an idea. No, I don't want people coming to work with me. No, you go to them. I want them to come to work with me.
Starting point is 01:01:30 That's an idea. That's an idea. That's an idea. Marking it in. It's in there. I think it's already, Dirty Jobs has already done that. Yeah. Everybody's already done everything, Hope.
Starting point is 01:01:40 Yeah, I know. We're just going to do Hope's house. I mean, Ghostbuster remakes. I mean, everybody's remaking. I know. Who cares? True. I mean, everybody's remaking. Who cares? Exactly. But it's very interesting. Yeah. But drama is a big sell. Yeah, it'll steal your piece. It will steal your piece unless you're watching somebody get caught cheating. And victory. I love a good like you've been caught. Like, you deserve.
Starting point is 01:02:07 Yeah, I love that. Have you ever watched the guy that goes around and catches like pedophiles? Oh no, I don't like those. Oh, I don't like that. I don't like those. Have you seen that one? That's too sad for me.
Starting point is 01:02:18 But he's very nice to them, and he like convinces them to tell him what's going on. And he's like, no, no, I know. It's cool. Yeah, so how old did you think she was? He literally is so good at it. And they're just sitting like this, and he gets them to confess. Are they out, or are they in the jail?
Starting point is 01:02:36 No, they're out. They're at their house. He catches them as they're doing it, right? Well, the one that I've seen, he literally has them come outside, and they don't have to talk to him, but they do. And I think they think they have to. It's the most it's like the crate. He always gets people to admit what they what they thought.
Starting point is 01:02:55 And they like like their buddies. And the whole thing is recorded. Yeah, that's like, I don't know if I can watch that because that's like makes me sad. It makes me so happy because I'm like another one is, cause I'm not worried about the ones. That one bites the dust. Yeah, I'm not worried about the ones that already are like, we know that they're pedophiles.
Starting point is 01:03:11 Like they're, they're, they have like a red cross, or what is it? The one that you have like a red thing on your arm, or that you know who you are. It's the ones that haven't been caught yet. Like that's scary. Like nobody knows, they're still in secret. So once they're caught,
Starting point is 01:03:25 I'm like, bye. Another one bites the dust. Have fun in jail. Good luck with that one. Yeah, I'll stick with my cheaters. I'll stick with the cheaters. It's, it's more uplifting as far as then you got to hear what that person was. Yeah, I can't do that. Yeah, it's all right. Wouldn't make me sad. Let's do sponsors. Let's do it. Not that I've confessed of my drama.
Starting point is 01:03:48 I know, I'm proud of you, but you didn't repent, so. Well, I can't, because I can't repent. I'm gonna do it again. I know, that's why I'm not proud of you. Like you only repent if you know you're not gonna do it again. So I can't be proud of you. I'm not asking for forgiveness for something that I foresee happening.
Starting point is 01:04:02 Oh my gosh. Oh, in about 30 minutes. It could happen. Oh my God. Oh, in about 30 minutes. Oh my gosh. It could happen. It probably will. It probably will. I'll probably catch you. Or sooner, I don't know. Or sooner.
Starting point is 01:04:13 I don't know what I'm doing after the podcast. Well, yeah, I do. So it's not gonna happen in 30 minutes. It probably will, because we have something to do before the other thing. We have a commercial. Oh, that's right. So you'll have to be sitting and waiting. So I might be bored. You might be bored. But I'll be in here.
