Real Talk. Real Talk. Real Talk.
It's Friday, people. It's going to be a great weekend. The weather, is it supposed to be good?
Before I say it's going to be great weather, does anybody know what the weather is supposed to be like tomorrow?
So we have a meteorologist on the team.
What is that?
It is 77 right now,
and that's a high. I know what the
weather is right now.
She wasn't even listening. God bless
you, child. No, the weather
is going to be terrible. It's going to rain the entire
weekend. No way. Yeah, 75%.
Stay inside. 60%. Warm fire's burning.
Yeah, I mean, 74, though. People will be getting
pregnant this weekend because
it's going to be a wet and rainy weekend in Florida.
So I expect in about 10 months from now.
No.
That's what happened with COVID before.
Okay.
Well, they were stuck in, shut in.
That's what happened in North Dakota, apparently, from my mother.
In North Dakota, you're shut in.
So even if you're not married, I mean, nowadays, but you're limited to the activities that you can do.
So that's what happens.
Do a puzzle.
Do a puzzle.
Well, if you're single, do a puzzle.
But I'm just saying, like, if you're married, lots of babies are born in the fall, beginning of winter.
Okay.
I'd still do a puzzle.
That's how it goes.
So you see this beautiful thing right here?
Okay, so have a great weekend, even though you might be in the midst of bad weather like we are.
That does not mean that you miss church because it's raining outside.
None of you are sugar.
You're not going to melt.
Trust me. I know this. I know most of you not. And I say that about myself. Okay. I I'm not melting. So I'm going to be going to church.
If even if I get wet, okay. This baby right here.
That's right. This baby right here is, this is a beautiful job. I was telling Tracy before the podcast, this thing is like.
Praise the Lord.
Yeah, like that's awesome.
Like I want one of these.
I don't know where you got it.
I can breathe now.
But it's from India, made in India.
Well, yeah, of course.
Way to go.
Something not made in China.
Oh, I don't know.
We might now be blocked.
I know.
Thanks a lot.
Because I said that name.
But I'm just saying, this is beautiful.
Okay.
I mean, I think I like this more than my favorite things.
Oh, wow.
Which now this might be one of my favorite things.
There we go.
There you go.
You just added one.
Apparently, this is an ice.
Yeah.
Like ice cooler.
It's like a drink.
Like a presentation.
Yeah.
A drink.
A drink holder.
It says it on the side.
Beverage something.
Beverage tub. We have one of those, but it's full of candy here in on the side. Beverage something. Beverage tub.
We have one of those, but it's full of candy here in the podcast room.
That is true.
That is true.
It is full of candy.
Full of candy.
So, all right.
So put yourselves on because here is the winner.
Here is the winner.
Yay.
Congratulations.
Congratulations.
So, Norma, get over here, girl.
Let's bring her her favorite things.
Now, listen.
We skimped on these, but we're, do you, have you ever had them before?
You've never had them before.
She's a woman of many words, people.
We're not going to hear her talk very much.
She's kind of shy.
So I'm going to force her out of her shell for two seconds.
Thank you, Norma.
My beautiful presentation host. So, okay, I'm going to force her out of her shell for two seconds. Thank you, Norma. My beautiful presentation host.
So, okay, I'm going to tell you right now.
Cindy, you will be out of that sweater very shortly as it gets hot in here.
There it is.
So you've never had an Alani.
No.
Do you like energy drinks?
I'm a little caffeine sensitive.
Oh, boy.
Maybe we only stick with the one.
I knew she just needed one.
Does your husband?
No.
Does anyone in your family?
You can give that to somebody.
You pass it along.
You'll bless somebody with that sucker.
Okay, I was going to get you a 12-pack, but we're not doing that.
I knew.
You did know, even though you didn't know.
We're not doing that because, like, you'll though you didn't know we're not doing that because
like you'll be here on saturday for church on sunday waiting in the parking lot because you'll
be so jacked up on caffeine you'll be ready we're going to go very her husband this is like not that
i didn't want somebody who doesn't come to the church to win because i would have been happy
about that too but what's awesome is your husband plays the drums for us.
He's one of our drummers, which, you know, I didn't know he was married.
I didn't know he was married.
Okay, so I literally thought to myself, now, girls, you can say if I'm wrong or not,
but I thought to myself because he was single, I thought, well, he's such a cutie.
We're going to have a lot of girls come into this church just to look at him play the drums right yeah he's like tom he doesn't
wear a wedding band right does he hate does he hate like tom war a wedding band uh gosh for like
15 years so it's a drummer thing't wear your ring when you're drumming
because it clicks on your stick.
Well, Tom doesn't wear it because he hates all jewelry.
Tom, the only piece
of jewelry you'll ever see him in
is a watch.
That's because he is a watch
nut. But no.
You're never going to see him with a necklace. You're never going to see him
with a pinky ring. Not in your
lifetime. You're never going to see him. But necklace. You're never going to see him with a pinky ring. Not in your lifetime.
You're never going to see him.
But he did for the longest time.
He lost one of the wedding bands.
And then after that, he still has two, but he doesn't wear them.
So I literally didn't know he was married, and I'm like, he's a good-looking guy. So we're going to have some girls just be so happy.
But girls, he's off the market he's
married to her so for a very long time yeah how long you've been married um 20 oh no 18 years
18 years you guys look so like they look like babies i know we've been together for 23 wow
okay so when did you get married you had to get married really young
yeah oh my gosh because hey norma hey i'm just kidding okay i'm 23 23 normal one is normal
wanted to be married when she was like 1920 yeah you said you would be 21 to 22 oh okay
wrong oh okay can norm. Can Norma leave?
So whatever I report is actual truth.
Yeah.
Norma's here.
She can't change it.
She's our fact checker.
Yeah.
She's my fact checker.
Okay.
So you got married super young.
That helps because Tom and I got married really late, like 28 and 29.
Right.
That explains a lot.
Now, the next thing, how long have you been coming to the church?
Just over a year.
That's awesome.
And you guys are, like, faithful.
You're here all the time.
We love it here.
Oh, my gosh.
Last question.
Maybe.
How did you find the church?
A couple of different seeds planted, actually.
My husband started watching Tom.
We're kind of on podcast.
Tom's podcast.
Oh, wow.
And then also when we moved here, which was just over two years ago, someone that I met
through the homeschool community invited us and we weren't we weren't going to church
then.
So when you lived up north or where you lived, was he watching the podcast then?
I think so. And it just so happens you moved to the same area did you know we were in the same area no wow i love that that's crazy because that's not the that's not the first time oh yeah like i've
heard that story way more than once yeah like multiple times for a reason yeah oh my now i
have known people who've watched the podcast and moved here for, to the church
because of the church and the podcast.
But you moving here, not knowing it was here.
And we were in Englewood when we first came here and we moved to Northport.
And then you guys moved to Northport.
Oh my gosh.
So we're like, okay, we have to go there.
That is so funny. God is go there. That is so funny.
God is just amazing.
That is so dang amazing.
That is so good.
I love that.
Me too.
I was going to, after I said I only have one more question, I was going to ask you one more.
I thought I had another one, but I don't think I do.
I don't.
I think you're free.
I have one thing.
Are you happy about that?
I have one thing.
Oh, yeah, Tracy.
Because I was going to make Tracy ask a question.
Go ahead, Tracy.
My question is not a question.
You actually have a bonus in here.
Because I had originally said the New Testament, Perry Stone, only.
Oh, you did?
Yeah.
You weren't going to give her the whole thing?
No.
I was just going to do the New Testament.
How could you do that to somebody?
So you have the old and the new.
Thank you.
So she got a bonus.
Oh, my gosh. Yeah. We don't do things halfway. You've got you have the old and the new. Thank you. So she got a bonus. Oh, my gosh.
Yeah.
We don't do things halfway.
You've got to give the complete thing, girl.
Listen, somebody approved.
I'm going to tell you the same thing I told Sarah
because I gave Sarah hers on Sunday, I think.
You can never go wrong.
I'm just telling you, when you read that, when you read his, do you have one, Tracy?
No, no.
We might have to change that for you too.
You will never look at the scriptures the same ever again.
And the time in which Jesus walked and before that, the Old Testament and the New Testament,
everything you read, the Bible is going to come to life.
People say you have to go to Israel for that to happen. I've been to Israel and to a certain extent, I would say that seeing things made it, made it very practical and made it like I could
now, like there are certain places that I can now see, but they've changed things so much. Like Israel is the Israel
that Jesus walked is under the real, the now new Israel, right? So you're walking on top of what
Jesus actually walked on. And then they've changed like the caves to a certain extent. You can't go.
So you do see things, but I'm telling you before I ever went there, as I studied, I had that.
And as I studied, I would look things up, and that was more real to me than when I went to Israel.
So I'm just saying to you, that's going to radically change your walk and how you view things in Christianity.
It's off the charts great.
It's a beautiful thing.
I'm going to have to get you a set.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Tracy's next.
And the next best thing.
What is that?
Yeah.
And you're fasting.
Let's not talk about it.
So are you doing the six to six?
Yeah.
Yeah.
More. I mean, just from six to seven, six. So, so doing the six to six? Yeah. Yeah, more. We just eat from six to seven.
So you eat from six in the morning or six at night to seven in the morning?
From six to seven p.m.
P.m.
It's just one hour.
One hour?
Yeah.
Oh, my gosh, man.
It's hardcore.
Like, I'd be shoving it in there so dang fast.
We do a lot of intermittent fasting, so it's just a little bit more than what we normally do.
You do a lot of fasting? Is that what you said? Yeah.
Fasting has to be a lifestyle.
Now, how long have you fasted?
Literally, my first fast was last January.
Oh, okay.
So last year, did you fast?
I mean, your last year was January of last year was your first fast.
And did you fast all throughout the year
or just January we did that well we didn't quite do 21 days we did 14 uh-huh that's good if you've never fasted seriously that's so good yeah and then we just kind of continued looking into more
fasting and living more intermittent fasting lifestyle so Well, I'm going to just tell you.
Did you feel like, did you see a little bit of a difference just for the 14 days?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
If you could convince people to fast and make it a lifestyle,
and what they see and how much it dramatically changes their life and the lives around them, it's so crazy.
But you'll end up making it a lifestyle. You really,
really will. If you, if you started doing it like that, you'll, you'll not be the same,
but I will tell you like last year, I don't, I'm not doing the Jonathan. I'm doing a different one
this year. Um, so, uh, I'm going to tell you this. I ate so much in that first hour
that I don't think I could have eaten anything past seven anyway.
Right.
So, except for Snick Snacks before you go to bed.
It's true.
There's a couple Snick Snacks.
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
But otherwise, like, I was so hungry,
which I fast a lot, so I'm always starving.
But I almost think, like, my five-day fasts are easier than the six-to-six.
I told Tracy that.
I actually agree with that.
You think so too?
Yeah, because your body kind of tricks itself into being fine after two days, I think.
And then you're like, oh, I'm fine.
I can go a week.
I mean, you're hungry, but that's six-to-six.
That's a killer.
I don't think it's like a hungry, though.
It's more of like a weird little
not like i could eat but i'm like i'm not needing it yeah i agree so super proud of you that's
awesome that is awesome i'm so grateful you won and i'm so grateful you're a faithful watcher
yeah do you watch every single podcast i'm putting you on the spot right now. I have been for probably a couple months.
I love it.
Do you do the hashtag replay when you miss it?
No.
Okay.
I don't blame you.
I don't do a lot of hashtag replay either if I miss it.
Thank you so much.
Seriously, thank you so much for playing.
Thank you so much for watching.
And I love your family and I love your support for this ministry. And I can't thank you so much for watching and uh for the gifts i love your family and i
love your support and for this ministry and i can't thank you enough because listen your husband
playing the drums means he's home away from you yes so and that's not and and you have to practice
and everything so it's not just a sacrifice of the one that's playing it's a sacrifice for the
family and we appreciate that very very much because it's a lot. It's a lot. So love you. You're free to go.
She's so happy.
I know.
That was like not that's out of your comfort zone.
Oh, that was my ring hitting the table.
That's OK.
All right.
That was exciting.
That's fun.
That was fun.
I know you're going to stay here with us for the whole.
She's going to stay for the whole podcast.
Yay.
Awesome.
That's so awesome.
I don't know.
Okay.
Okay.
Vanessa is not here.
Yeah.
Because she's on vacay.
She just texted me.
They landed in Vermont.
Hot dog.
And it's flurrying.
It's snowing.
It's snowing.
So the kids.
That's what they wanted.
The kids just wanted snow. That is awesome. That's all they wanted. So it's already snowrying. It's snowing. It's snowing, so the kids... That's what they wanted. The kids just wanted snow.
That is awesome.
That's all they wanted.
So it's already snowing, which is perfect.
I'm jealous.
That's awesome.
I love it.
And come back to the beautiful state of Florida.
That is like the best of the best.
God answers prayer.
Yep.
Logan's pregnant.
Or no longer pregnant.
Logan's had the baby, so she's not here.
Logan's on.
She's here.
She's been on.
She was on when we were
Doing the countdown
Hot dog Logan
Yes she was
We love and miss you
Yeah we do
Sarah's not here
Sarah's MIA
She's online though
She's online
Way to go Sarah
Way to go Sarah
Sarah must be like
Hunkering down
Like taking
Taking care of business
She
You know how she is
She's probably reading
She's probably reading her Bible
Her Perry Stone Bible Huh? She's probably reading, she's probably reading her Bible,
her Perry stone Bible.
Huh?
She's probably reading her Perry stone Bible.
If we're being serious,
she said she wanted to hibernate and read that thing.
I'm telling you right now, outside of myself.
And I think my mother,
yeah,
I don't think anybody like her face.
I like,
I know.
Oh,
I can imagine.
I wish I was there.
She might sleep with it i i know i don't blame her i don't i don't think there's been anybody who like like had the most biggest you know that emoji with the puppy dog guy thing oh yeah that
was my favorite one she when you said it she started to do the puppy dog eyes. Yeah. So.
Yeah.
That was sweet.
Because I wanted them so bad, I could taste it.
My mom wanted them so bad, she could taste it.
When they first came out.
Okay.
And I don't even, I think they had just got done being on production.
And he said, listen, when these are gone, they're gone.
There's nothing else.
Oh, wow.
And he only ordered a certain amount.
So however many years it takes, he's not producing anymore.
So we bought like the first ones.
I mean, this is years ago.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I was so happy.
Oh, my gosh.
But when I gave them to her, I was like, oh, that's familiar.
I know that face.
That's how I felt.
Yeah.
I love it. All right.
What do we got going on, girl? All right.
Well, we've got our, you know, like, share, subscribe and comment on all of our platforms.
So if you're on Facebook, say hello, like, and share, and then jump over to Rumble.
Because you know, that's where the conversation's happening. I know a few of you are on Facebook,
Natalie and Tricia, but if you want to hop over to Rumble, we would love you.
And then we've got all of our people on Rumble.
I mean, it is just a conversation over here.
Talia's running the conversation.
We have John from Alabama.
Hey, Talia's on there.
Sarum, of course, Logan and Sean.
And I don't know who this one is.
SJB.
Oh, that's Sarah.
Hey, Sarah.
I was looking for you on Facebook.
What a good girl.
Okay.
YouTube.
We have a couple people.
Jolene's on there.
Hey, Jolene.
And Daniel Lopes.
Hey, Daniel.
You are the bomb.
Hey, thanks for moving in that big piece of equipment for us.
We love you for that.
Especially Norma.
None of us will now have a hernia.
No, exactly. In Jesus' name. In Jesus' name None of us will now have a hernia. Exactly. In Jesus name.
In Jesus name. And we got four on black robes. So whoever you are, we appreciate you. You know,
whatever you can do on any of the channels is amazing. We love the live chat just to hear what
you guys are thinking and doing. So thanks for being here today live. And if you're watching
the replay, feel free to type that in. I usually get like a notification or something that you guys are watching replay and I'll try to hop on and say
hello if I can. And then we've got our questions. Send in your questions, askhope at hopehotline.com
and we are looking for some new questions. So send them along. Next is our merch. We've got
our Hope Hotline mug. We've got our spoon, and it is multipurpose. If you have questions, please comment, and we'll let you know.
UBU t-shirt is available as well.
And just a reminder, we are doing the fast.
If you are Foundation Church, we're setting this time apart for God.
And if you want to do Jonathan's revival today's church fast.
That one's the perfect one, especially if you've never fasted before.
I'm going to just add my two cents in.
Yeah, please.
If you've never done a fast before
and you want to get your feet wet,
you don't,
you just do it for a week,
like six to six for a week.
And then you can even work your way up to 21 days.
21 days is a really long time to do that fast
if you've never fasted before,
to be perfectly honest with you.
It's definitely doable,
but if you're really, like, wanting to,
and like I said at the very beginning before it,
what was it last week before it started?
Like, if you can't do food because of age or whatever,
you're a mature adult and that's not going to work for you,
then what you
want to do is potentially give up coffee or do like my mom's 7 at 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Something
along those lines that fit the scheme of things of what you are allowed to do. Right. But even if
it's 21 days of no coffee. Yeah. For some people, that's worse than not eating. Yeah, that's the
facts. So, yeah, yeah. it would be best to do that.
Yeah.
And Jonathan always says, if you can't fast, if you're a nursing mom or pregnant mom,
like you can pray.
Everybody can pray for 21 days and set this time apart for God.
And then we have our last but not least, and I'm going to have it be on your little screen
so that you can talk about it if you want.
We've got our Dare to Be.
So this will be at the end of the month because it's the fifth Monday of the month.
And that's how we run these.
So if you are interested, if you were there for Hope's Revival or what's it called?
Revelation.
That was so good.
It was all of three years to do Revelation.
It was the first time I ever came to
Foundation Church. That's what you were doing. Really? And then we ended it here like a month
ago. No, I'm just joking. It feels like Revelation. Oh my gosh. That was COVID though. Yeah, it was.
And it was perfect. It was all of COVID. And it was necessary because people were wondering like
what, like what's happening and trying to read that.
We started in Genesis and then like three,
three weeks after we started in Genesis,
that was what I was going to teach on and COVID hit.
Remember?
I know.
Cause it was before I came.
You were in Revelation.
Oh,
that's right.
But Norma was there.
Norma was there when you're teaching about Genesis.
And then we switched to Revelation.
Because everybody started getting freaked out.
And I was like,
does it people want to do Revelation?
Everybody pretty much was like, yes.
Because they were scared.
A lot of people were scared and then they realized,
oh, I'm okay.
I know.
Exactly.
It's good.
So it's January 29th.
It's 6.30pm to 8pm.
There is child care.
It's right here at this church.
It was a huge turnout last time.
So, yeah, and it was really good.
It's not Revelation.
It's something completely different.
So, dare to be.
I mean, we could go back to Revelation, but it's going to take us for five.
It's going to take us another five years.
I was done.
I know.
You were.
I have all the notes, but I'm done.
My goose was cooked with Revelation. I don't blame you. I don't want to go back. I don't blame you. I have all the notes, but I'm done. My goose was cooked with revelation.
I don't blame you.
I don't want to go back.
I don't blame you.
And we did it.
We did it.
Yeah, we did.
We should have recorded it.
Listen, I cycled through so many people when we did that.
Yeah.
And Tom preached it one time, and it took like four months.
Oh, I can imagine.
People hightailed it out.
Really?
Oh, yeah.
We dropped in numbers.
We dropped probably 100 people when he preached revelation. Oh, wow. Oh, I can imagine. People hightailed it out. Really? Oh, yeah. We dropped in numbers. We dropped probably 100 people when we preached Revelation.
Oh, yeah.
I feel like this group of people might be more interested.
We have a different group now.
Yeah.
Weak sauce before.
Yeah.
Seriously weak sauce.
Oh, yeah.
Okay.
Hey.
Okay.
Is that it?
That's all I got for today.
So I'm in the middle of my podcast.
Are we in the middle of this right now and
guess who's texting me wait vanessa no dang it tommy logan logan logan we need baseball caps
because i'm wearing this one right here which i was in the shower going man i need a teal
and a pink baseball cap for the whole pot line. But I really, I mean,
that's what we need.
Yeah.
So I was like,
I'm going to have to talk to Tracy.
I'm a,
I'm one step ahead of yet girl.
Wow.
Great minds.
Great minds.
Great minds.
Think alike.
Yeah.
So I was,
so we'll,
we'll do that sister.
Okay.
We will get some baseball caps,
but yeah,
I see it come across my computer.
Okay.
Logan.
Logan.
No, it had the whole pot. Logan. Is that UVU or whatever?
No, it had the whole pot.
Yeah.
What about on the back?
You can have a wording on the back.
I don't know.
That's a discussion for after the podcast because we're dropping flies right now.
Nobody wants to hear this discussion. No, we're good.
We're holding strong.
Hold the line, people.
Hold the line.
We're going in.
What is that?
We're going in.
Those people are weak they can
leave okay that's why norma's not here normally oh my gosh she's ticking people off left and right
all right okay oh my goodness i went to listen i went to i went grocery shopping with norma
because norma's got a new task here at the church.
So I go with her yesterday to just help her because some things like, some things you
don't know where they're at exactly.
Like if you've never baked or whatever, you don't know where things are.
I'm like, I'll just go with you.
We can, because she already went with the person that actually she took it over from
and sweet enough to show the ropes, everything that she would need walked her through
the whole entire place well that's several weeks ago yeah yeah that was nice and plus new stuff
has so i'm like i'll go with you well like the girl wants to bum rush people and sam's i'm like
oh my gosh you're so my daughter like i'm just saying some people need to walk with some purpose
in life and they just don't so get out of the way with people who does have who does who do have purpose in life okay i got things to do people
to see this is the b that was yeah you can't that was me back in the day a little bit me still
oh my gosh i i was like i literally turned around to her and went you are my daughter
oh my gosh okay the one lady,
okay,
that you're talking about who said when you were saying I'm your daughter,
okay,
she could barely move her legs.
Get a scooter so you can move a little quicker.
Hey,
Norma,
she's like trying to like keep the blood like flowing through those.
It's not worth it.
Do it in your neighborhood,
not in the store.
Norma.
Okay.
I just known her for about five minutes.
This is why I have to go everywhere with her because I apologize for her.
Oh, there we go.
You never apologize.
Don't even.
No, sorry.
No, you don't.
She's never apologized once and she's been just as bad as I am.
Oh, my gosh.
Trish Hansen agrees with Norma.
Thank you.
There you go.
Trish has some backup.
Oh, gosh.
She's got some backup.
Do you know Trish?
Okay, yeah.
That's funny. Trish gets me. Trish? Okay, yeah. That's funny.
Trish gets me.
Trish would never be bold enough to say it.
That's the difference.
Oh, my gosh.
She might.
Trish thinks it.
She doesn't say it.
Oh, I'll say it.
There is a difference.
Yeah, I won't say it either.
Norma, are you fasting right now?
Mm-hmm.
This is my one day I don't, though.
Okay, so your carnal nature is this high.
Yeah, it's high. So it needs to nature is this high. Yeah, it's high.
So it needs to be coming down here.
Well, it's not high today.
Yesterday.
When we were out yesterday.
You must have been hungry.
Yeah, I was starving.
She was hangry.
I was hangry, so I just wanted to push all the old people to the ground
and run them over with my shopping cart.
That's when you, like, kill your carnal nature.
I couldn't.
All I wanted was a big Mac fan.
You let the spirit man rise and the carnal nature die.
I was so hungry
i was out and all i could see is croissants okay don't put a croissant in front of me
yeah that's right people that's tempting slower than molasses dude oh dude okay i'll shut up
oh my gosh 26 26 minutes later or is it uh there's more viewers no there's more
20 21 minutes later so they relate You know what that's from?
No.
SpongeBob.
I let my kids watch SpongeBob.
I know that's simple.
I did it.
I was like, this is a demon show.
Did you watch SpongeBob?
I did.
When you got older.
Oh my gosh, I did.
You did.
You watched it all the time.
This is a true story, people.
And then we'll get to the real business of things.
Me and Tom, when we filed our taxes one year i file i i was so late that we had to make it to the post office midnight
and this is not normal for me i have not even filed mine yet for last year
so i was on time well i actually can't because of the storm i normally i usually file an extension
but this year it's an extension upon an extension on an extension i don't know it's not my fault
people because it's all the storm yeah and my account not our file just yet yeah this year
that year though we're filing and it's like I have to get it to the post office
to be in the mailbox and stamped on April 15th by midnight.
So me and Tom and Tommy, we pile in the car.
Norma's not here yet.
I might be pregnant with her.
I don't know.
So we get in the car, and as we start going tommy starts talking and if any tommy's not a tommy doesn't talk a lot
to a lot of people but he does talk a lot to the people he knows talia and norma am i correct
absolutely yes he's a big talker if he doesn't talk like a lot of times he won't talk to people
at church or whatever he's just not a's just not an extrovert like that.
So we get in the car, and from almost the moment we get in the car,
Tommy starts talking about SpongeBob,
and he starts telling us about an episode,
which leads to another episode.
So we get to the post office in Sarasota,
because none of them are open but the one in Sarasota,
which is 45 minutes from my house.
Of course. I go in in I put everything away I mean I get get everything stamped and I get back in the car Tommy's still talking about Spongebob still and it's now I think another episode Tom's Tom
says to me he goes don't say anything let's see how long he actually talks. Like if he will go all the way back home.
The whole way home.
Wow.
He never stopped talking.
Not one breath.
Not one thing.
The whole entire.
What is that?
An hour and a half?
45, 45?
That's a long time.
So at least an hour and a half.
Tommy talked about SpongeBob SquarePants.
Oh my gosh.
For the hour and a half.
That's impressive.
Did not take a breath.
Like laughing and me and Tom were just laughing.
Yeah.
Can you imagine?
Yes, Norma.
I have one thing to say.
For all the people that are saying that I'll grow old and slow, I rebuke you.
I'm going to be like Abraham.
I'm going to be perfect until the end.
Amen, sister.
I just want to let that person know because one person said I might be old and slow.
No, I ain't.
Oh, my gosh.
I'm going to be spring chicken my whole life.
Yeah, you'll be climbing a mountain.
I'll be climbing a mountain.
I'm going to croak on a mountain.
Your eyesight will not be abated.
Or no, your eyesight won't be dimmed, and your force will not be abated.
Amen.
Yeah.
In the name of Jesus.
I don't know who that is.
I don't know either.
They're just trying to get you riled.
They don't know the word God like they should.
Get your Bible, people.
Just kidding. You're going to get you riled. They don't know the word God like they should. Get your bibble, people. Just kidding.
You're going to get me riled.
I mean, no one should.
For in all seriousness, whoever posted that and said that,
I'm going to be the word police right now.
Love you anyway.
Yeah.
Word police is, don't speak that over.
Life and death is held in the tongue.
But Norma shouldn't be talking bad about old people
and not being able to walk either.
So I do understand your plight. To all the old people and not being able to walk either. So I can, I do understand.
I'm sorry to all the old people I threatened at Sam's.
I love you in the name of Jesus.
Walk a little faster,
but also be fast.
All right.
First question.
Now that we definitely lost people.
No,
it's we were rocking and rolling over here.
We might make record numbers.
You guys,
you know what you guys are?
Yep.
You're like sadomasochists.
Masochists.
You love the drama.
Oh, is that people who like?
No.
Infliction.
Like pain infliction.
Things like that.
Oh, I wouldn't know what that is.
They like.
They like.
Yeah.
They probably watch a lot of MMA.
Oh, yeah.
All right.
Does your husband watch MMA?
Oh, he does.
Okay.
We know Jared does.
Yeah.
All right.
Let's roll.
Can you discuss the differences between the four types of prayer mentioned in 1 Timothy 2.1,
supplications, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving?
Okay.
We're going to go to the scripture, which is 1 Timothy 2.1. Everybody turn to the Bibles. Open your're going to go to the scripture which is first
timothy 2 1 everybody turn to the bibles open your bibles or into the scripture there you go
there it goes right on the screen for all of us that don't have our bibles with us
tracy's even for us this is actually entitled prayer for all men or pray for all men not prayer
pray for all men therefore i exhort first of all men. Therefore, I exhort, first of all,
that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men.
That was Paul talking to Timothy. Timothy was taking over some churches, and so he was receiving
instruction from Paul. So here's the thing. When we are communicating with God, the four things that
were mentioned, which is supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks. I'm reading
it myself. That's why you see my eyes go up on the screen. All of those things should be offered
to God when we pray. Okay. Like a lot of times when people pray, all they do is ask, ask, ask, ask, ask.
Well, there's something about you should ask for things,
but you should also give thanks for things.
A lot of times it's like the Lord specifically spoke to me,
and he said, listen, I want you to write all of your requests down,
and then we're going to start crossing them off.
As you cross them off, you should also be giving thanks so like one of the things I love that
Kenneth Hagen said like when he would pray for specific things whether it be healing or something
like that what he would do is he would write down the date and the time in which he prayed for those
things and then what he would do,
and I do this just so you know, I do do this in my prayer time. And I actually listened to some,
the pastor that he actually learned it from. I listened to a teaching from him. And then also
I've heard Andrew Womack, who is a Kenneth Hagin disciple, he has done this as well. So what Kenneth Hagin says is what he would do is he had a daughter,
one of his, his only daughter, had an issue with her eye.
It began to droop.
And so the doctors basically said it's incurable.
It'll get worse and worse and worse.
And it's something she'll have to live with and he said
no i'm that's not going to happen it's not going to happen so what he said is he prayed on a
specific day at a specific time every time he prayed over her which was several times a day
he would say i believe i received when i prayed and he would say at this time on this date right
and then he would specifically use whatever,
like for my daughter, whatever, I can't remember,
I don't remember her name,
my daughter healing for this, okay?
So for me, that's what I do.
I don't always say, Lord, I speak to the mountain on this,
or I speak to this.
What I do is on certain things that I've already prayed for,
I say, I believe I received when I prayed, and I have the dates and the times in which I
prayed for those things, for in the person that I'm praying it over, and I stand on that. And he
said it took him four months. It might have been longer than that. Four months for him to see that
his daughter's eye was healed, and that it was back to the same one as the other. And he said it literally had been healed
and he never even noticed because he just kept believing and standing on it and things like that.
So, and he never once faltered or failed. And then this is a man who himself was a big time
believing and fasting and praying. He fasted two, on average, two days a week.
It depended on, I think he said he usually had the two same days,
but sometimes he had to switch them up.
But on the average, it was two days a week that he fasted for years.
And that's to get rid of the carnal nature
and to see and receive the things that
he was believing and standing for. The more you get rid of you, the more your spirit man rises up
and the more you actually have the faith to receive the things that you're standing and
believing for. That's what fasting is all about. It's that you have the faith with no doubting.
The doubt starts depleting the more your spirit man rises up
because you know the word is true.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God.
And when you know that word, because when you're fasting,
you're supposed to spend more time in prayer
and you're supposed to spend more time in the word.
And that word will come back to you.
It'll rise up in your spirit man.
And then all that doubt and unbelief that the carnal nature hangs so tightly onto, it starts just shedding. It starts just getting, you get rid
of it more and more and more. Your faith increases. And that means you start seeing the results that
you're standing on. That's why you're not moving God. You're moving you out of the way and your
spirit man is rising up.
Does that make sense?
Yeah, that's good.
Beautiful.
So good.
That's the important thing.
So supplications.
When we look at the four different things, supplications.
Now supplication means to repeat, right? But it also just means simply asking for something.
So you can ask.
But once you start asking, shouldn't you start thanking? And that's
another thing that I do in my prayer time. I thank the Lord, like all the lists of the things that I
have, I believe I receive when I pray. And then I thank him. I thank you that I know that I've asked,
so I shall receive. If I ask anything in your name, you'll do it for me, is what the word of God says.
So I begin to thank him for the things that I may not have seen already. Faith is a substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. That's what Hebrews
says. So I may have not seen those things yet, but I know that they shall come to pass because even
though my eyes don't see them, the word says that I will. And calling those things that be not as
though they were. Again, another scripture that clearly says, even if you
visually cannot or tangibly touch the very thing that you're believing for, the word says that if
you have faith and if you believe, you will. And that's a huge thing. Knowing the word is key to
everything. But again, if you don't know your promises and you don't know what to stand on, that's where doubt and unbelief just totally rises up and it takes over. So supplication is
simply asking for something. That's all it is. Prayers refers to communication with God. So
that's what that is. Intercessions refer to the requests we make on behalf of others. As we pray,
there should be time when the needs of others find a place in our prayer time. A lot of times people, like, all they do is pray for one thing after the other for themselves.
I mean, they have a huge long list of I wants, I wants, I wants,
and then a small list for the ones that they love so dearly.
I mean, your list for others from healing to salvations,
things like that,
they should be way more than anything you want.
Because with him, you have all things, right?
And so, I mean, you should have things.
Like if you have health issues,
you should list those suckers
and you should be believing for them and receiving them.
If you have financial situations, you should be tithing. If you aren't tithing, then you can pray all you
want to, but the covenant is not there for you and the promises do not stand. If you tithe,
it's guaranteed. You can pray all day long, but God doesn't go against his word. Okay. So you
could say, well, there's plenty of wealthy people out there who've never tithed. Yeah, I do.
But the wealth of the wicked is stored up for the righteous.
Okay, so there are one-offs.
On the whole, though, we as believers, if we pay our tithes, we are guaranteed.
Test me in this, says the Lord.
Okay, it's the only place in the scriptures that clearly says to test him.
And he's going to show himself off to you and how he keeps his promises and he keeps his word.
If he doesn't keep his word, then the whole Bible does not exist.
It's just not real.
It's not.
There's no truth in it.
But every single time he says something, he follows through.
So I promise you, pay your tithes.
It's just like fasting.
There are guaranteed results when you fast and there are guaranteed results when you tithe. It pays off in dividends. It really does. The last thing is thanks, which is what I've talked about. You should be thanking him. You should thank him for the things that he's
come through on and you should be thanking him for the things that you're believing for
that shall happen. And like we have so much to be thankful for. If you're in the United States especially,
we are above and beyond blessed beyond measure.
There is not one thing that we don't have to be thankful for.
And you can say, well, I have a broken down car.
I have this, I have that.
But listen, how many places do you know that have transit?
Like there are ways that you can even get your car fixed.
There are places that there are no vehicles.
Everything you do is by foot.
There is no bus system.
There is no metro system.
There's no nothing.
Like everything in the United States, people are longing for.
People have longed to live in this country because of the freedoms and the blessings and the lifestyles that we all live.
And we've become so complacent and so ungrateful and so entitled that I think oftentimes we forget how fortunate we really are because we could have been born in another country.
You don't have 911. You don't have hotels that you get to stay on when you're traveling from
one place to another. There's just so many, like, there's not a Chick-fil-A on every corner.
True.
You know?
And the McDonald's ain't McDonald's in other countries.
So I'm just saying, we are fortunate as can be.
If you live in this country, you have a lot to be thankful for coming out the gate.
Amen?
Amen.
Tracy, do you have anything to add, my dear?
I do. In Mark chapter 11, it says that, For surely I say to you, whoever says to this mountain,
be removed and cast into the sea and does not doubt in his heart, but believes
that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. So it literally says,
speak to the mountain. And I think so many people are begging God to do something they have full
authority over. So I think all the things you just- When you speak to the mountain though,
speaking to the mountain is not speaking to a mountain. The mountain is whatever is big in
your life. And let's make that clear. If you have sickness, illness, and disease, that's your mountain. Because a lot of times people think that's so big. I can't. No, it's not.
Speak to that mountain and it'll be cast into the sea. And it will. People don't think it's true,
but if Jesus said it, it's true. So you speak to the problem. Sometimes it's a financial...
And hey, listen, there's 78 people watching right now i love you thank you so much if you would like and share this podcast that will help us out hugely for growth and listen
our purpose is to share this to work share the word it's also to have fun but it's also to win
win the lost so anything that you can do to help us with that i would love you for that as well as
my team over there yeah but huge thank you, thank you, thank you.
But here's the thing, like what I was saying,
if you have a big financial problem,
a lot of times people think that that's so big
and that mountain is so large
that it's not even one that you can climb.
It's just not true.
I can tell you this,
if you are looking at a financial situation right now
and it seems so
impossible, go to church, write a check or go. Here's the thing. Maybe you can't go to church.
Go and find the church that you get fed by. I'm sure they have a way for you to give online and give.
And when I say give, that's not like giving like $10.
Give what hurts.
Give what hurts.
If you got paid today, then give 10% of the gross, not the net.
The gross is the complete amount of money that you were paid for the week's work or the two weeks' work, right?
That's before insurance, taxes,
everything. We've done that forever. And not one need has not ever been met. In fact, sometimes when I look at my taxes and I see at the end of the year, how much I have in my account versus
how much went out, you can't even figure out how it worked out. The math never adds up, but it doesn't have to add up with God because God's got a cattle
on a thousand hills and the streets are made of gold and whatever it is on earth, like
it's the Lord's prayer.
What's on in heaven is also here on earth for us if we stand and believe for it.
So I tell you, you won't be able to do the math.
It won't add up, but give and see him come through.
And if you do that for three months,
I've never had somebody try and pay tithe for three months
and it not work for them.
I'm not saying that there aren't times that things are tight,
but he still comes through every single time.
And that's when faith grows is when things are tight
and he still meets every need.
And then you see at the very end of it, when you don't quit, you see how he not only came through,
he rose to the occasion and went far beyond your hopes and dreams. This only seasons and times,
guys. Things have seasons and times. It's what you do through those seasons. And in that time
frame, if you have an endurance, if you don't quit, if you don't,
you know, a lot of people won't quit. What they do is they'll moan and groan and complain.
And the word is very clear. We're going to do nothing with arguing and complaining.
If you're complaining, that shows lack of faith and unbelief. So get rid of that too. Speak life
into the situation. Speak the word into the situation and see how fast it resolves itself so quickly for you.
Because when you're looking at things more in a proper perspective,
it's funny how fast you walk through them
versus when you're moaning, groaning, and complaining,
it feels like a lifetime, right?
It's like when our kids are really young and they're very dependent on us
and you're like, am I ever going to get through this? We're like, I can't, if mommy, if I hear mommy one more
time and then before you know it, they're already grown up and you're like, can you please call me?
Can we go back? I literally say to my kids and my mom says this too. I would go back to when my kids
were like, Tommy was two. There's only barely two years between them. There's not even two years.
I would go back to when Tommy was four
and Norma was two
or Tommy was three
and Norma was one.
I'd go back to that
and just give me 24, 48 hours.
I would love that.
I would just love that.
That would be such a precious time, huh?
You know what that means?
I don't want a child.
It would be miraculous.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
I don't want a foster child. No? I don't want to adopt. I don't want grandkids. I don't want a grand. It would be miraculous. No, no, no. No, no, no. I don't want a foster child.
No?
I don't want to adopt.
I want to have my grandkids.
I don't want a grandbaby.
I'm just saying.
I'm just saying.
No, I got friendly.
Just saying.
I'm just, for right now, like I love, okay, for example, like Tommy, Tommy's dating, first
time ever, right?
I love this period of time, like with Tommy and the girl he's dating, first time ever, right? I love this period of time with Tommy and the girl he's dating.
Super sweet girl, but I love this time.
Norma just started dating, right?
And so for me, I love the guy she's dating too.
It's a very precious and sweet time.
But for either one of them to start thinking about having children,
I might throw up.
I got Brinley.
You do have Brinley.
She's literally like,
I truly believe,
because I'm so close with Heather and stuff like that,
I truly believe that
that's probably what it feels like to have a great grandchild.
Because I feel like she's mine.
I do.
But when that time comes,
I'll probably have to fight Heather for Norma's baby.
Because it'll be the other way around.
Do you know what I'm saying?
I'll be fighting with Heather for my grandbaby, which she'll think is hers.
Oh my gosh, it's crazy.
But I'm loving where life has me.
And I'm loving the time with my kids and then them experiencing new things in their
life.
It's awesome.
I know.
And they picked wisely.
Both of them have picked wisely as far as who their first relationships would be with.
I can't.
I feel like, to be honest with you, I feel like an accomplished parent in that regard.
Yes, you are.
They were very smart.
They waited a long time.
And then when they made the decision, both of them chose wisely.
Yep.
I agree.
Very grateful for that.
Norma's always been super picky.
Always, always, always.
And Tommy's been so much into his own lifestyle that he's, it's not even been because he's
picky.
It's just because he's been busy.
But still great.
It's still wonderful.
So I don't want grandchildren though, Tracy.
I'm not saying you want to.
I'm just saying that usually happens when you start missing those like younger ages.
It's just, it's science.
It's not me.
It's like, it's like data.
It's like scientific data.
What science?
Please do share.
What science?
I'll get the graph.
Statistics. Are you talking about? Statistics. If you like start missing that age group, but you're outside of being able to make
those babies at that time, you're ready for grandchildren. It's just data. I can pull a
graph that I'll make on Canva real quick. Exactly. Because I'm going to be honest with you. I never
heard of anybody like that. I've known people otherwise not ready for grandbabies at all.
And then their kids are popping up.
Well, yeah, of course.
But they're not blessed and highly favored.
I don't want any grandbabies right now.
I got one and that's good enough for me.
Just saying.
She's a handful anyway.
She's got a lot of sass.
She's spicy.
I love it.
She's a little spicy every now and then.
A little spicy girl.
But I was just telling Daniel.
Yeah.
I think it was Daniel.
Who was I just telling this morning I was just telling Daniel. Yeah. I think it was Daniel.
Who was I just telling this morning?
I don't know.
Like she's just the sweetest little girl ever.
I know.
I love her. Like hardly ever does she, and if she does, it's because she's the most, she's super tired.
But she's such a, for somebody who gets so much attention, she's a very sweet person.
She is.
And genuinely, not like, you know how people manipulate to kind of like, she could probably manipulate.
She doesn't do that.
She's cute and she's sweet.
And so parents, raise your kids.
Raise your kids well.
Raise them like Brinley.
Yeah.
Super good kid.
Okay.
Next question.
I always pray. I lost people because they don't know who Brinley. Yeah. Super good kid. Okay. Sweet. Next question.
I always pray.
I lost people because they don't know who Brinley is.
Okay.
Always pray, but nothing is changing.
I always pray, but nothing is changing.
Why?
Okay.
Now, I have no idea.
I always pray, but nothing is changing.
Why?
That's the whole question.
Lack of faith.
I have no idea. What are you praying for? That's the whole question. Lack of faith? I have no idea.
What are you praying for?
Like, it depends on, like, the situation.
And listen, you probably typed this up really fast, and in your head, you knew what you were talking about.
But in my head, I know nothing of what you're talking about.
Give us a couple situations, Mom.
I made a list.
Because I have no idea.
Do you know who wrote this?
Do you know who this one's from? I don't. Tracy doesn't know. I don't think so. Because I was no idea. Do you know who wrote this? Do you know who this one's from?
I don't.
Tracy doesn't know.
I don't think so.
Because I was going to say,
maybe if you knew,
maybe you would know
like the inside scoop.
There's so many pathways
this can go down.
Sometimes we know
who writes these,
Tracy does.
Sometimes we know
who writes these things
and then other times
they come from like
other states.
We've never met the people.
We don't know
what they know.
And then sometimes people
online send in stuff. That was this one. It was just a random one. Never seen their name before.
Okay. Okay. Yeah. I don't have any info. Okay. So if you're watching, I'm going to, I have a list.
I wish I knew exactly what you're talking about, but I will tell you, I think there's probably not
one person in this room that can identify to a certain extent about always praying and nothing changing.
And what I mean by that is maybe in the situation of what we're asking God for or we're wanting to see, not in general.
Yeah, right.
Do you know what I'm saying?
Yeah, yeah.
But in specifics, I have felt like, how much longer?
Right.
Like, how much longer am I going to be walking this road of perdition?
Isn't that the right word, perdition?
I think that's a great word.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Might not be the right word.
But I'm like, how much longer do I got to do this?
Because this is long and drawn out.
And I just want to see the end of it.
I think all of this,
but it goes back to what I was just saying to you.
If you use the word and you speak life into the situation
instead of moaning, groaning, complaining,
then what happens is it goes a lot faster.
And a lot of times too, I will tell you,
I've experienced things like,
it's so funny because a lot of times in life, we'll experience the same
things over and over and over again through a walk in faith. And they may not be the same exact
thing, but they're very similar. And what happens is, is the more your faith, the more you see
God come through, then the more you just automatically know that I've already been here before. So I'm
going to come out on the other side. There's going to be victory. I know I'm going to win.
And there's, this is a blip on the screen. Instead of what was before climbing a mountain,
now becomes a hill. And then you do it again. And now instead of a hill, you're like going over a
speed bump, right? And then next thing, you know, you do it again instead of a speed, you're, you're, you're like going over a speed bump. Right. And then next
thing, you know, you do it again instead of a speed bump. It's like a little pebble in the road.
That's how we, as you ever are ever increasing in your faith and you're seeing God like come
through each and every single time, it will always be, some things will always be similar,
but because you've been there before, it's not, it's not even a blip on the screen.
Like with finances, if you've walked through or you've struggled in finances, but you've seen God
come through every single time, you just get to know, okay, this is just a season. I'm going to
get through this. This is nothing. It's going to be okay. God never fails. His word is true. Okay,
that's what I'm referring to.
If it's a health issue and you've had to deal with health issues
over and over and over again,
and he comes through over and over and over again,
then you just realize this is nothing, right?
It's all those things, correct?
Okay, so for this question, I came up with some things.
Maybe you guys can think of some of that.
So here's a list.
Are you saying that nothing is changing in your walk with God,
with your lifestyle, seeing answered prayers, with your words?
Because a lot of times people can't overcome the words that they speak.
What else can you think of that might be what this person's talking about? I almost wonder if they're saying, like, I'm praying for things constantly and nothing's coming to fruition.
I'm praying for things constantly.
Yeah, like I'm praying for my health and I'm always sick.
I'm praying for a financial breakthrough and I never see financial breakthrough.
Like everything?
Yeah, they have like a list.
There's a list that they have and nothing.
Nothing's coming through.
That's what I was thinking of as well.
I never thought about it like that.
That's why you got us.
That's why, yeah.
The peanut gallery.
That's why the peanut gallery.
I never thought about it like that.
Yeah.
I thought it might be one thing specific,
but I don't think like that.
That's why it's good.
They have a laundry list of things that we haven's good. They have a laundry list of things they haven't seen.
They have a laundry list of things and they haven't seen anything come to pass.
That might be it.
Okay, what I would tell you to do.
First of all, what I would tell you to do is examine your lifestyle.
If you're seeing things and you're not seeing things change.
If you have a long
laundry list first of all i would tell you to do what god told me to do write them all down and
maybe you already have okay every day you pray specifically over those things but you should
date and time it like i told you kenneth hagan man moves moved mountains there ain't nothing you
can't learn from the man what are you two girls talking about over there oh yeah i thought you were on tv they're over there chit-chatting i'm like what are they doing
no her aquaphor bottle just made a very interesting sound oh okay that's all all right so um
so for me i sit there and make the list uh watch god start crossing them off. Because a lot of times, I'm going to tell you,
I have thought that nothing was changing until I had to sit down
and start dissecting things, like things I've prayed for,
and I realized, oh, I'm not praying over that anymore
because it's not a thing anymore.
Sometimes we don't think because we already have so many
and then more get put on our plate.
Have you ever had a job? Like for most of us in this room, we, we're a skeleton crew here at the church. So
a lot of times we're always taking on new things, right? Nothing's ever off our list. We're just
putting more on the list, right? For right now. And so sometimes what happens is you're adding more and adding more and you forget that you're
not you've already done that you've already done this you've already done that you know it's like
a list of things to do and so you realize oh I've already done this so I can take cross this off my
list but but because things keep getting added you forget you've, but if you don't have the list, you don't remember.
That's why I do have, I have a lot of lists.
Like when I'm doing, like if I'm scheduled, if I'm going to do an event,
what I do is I have a list of the things that have to be done for that event.
Guess what?
At the beginning of it, I only know a small amount.
And as I continue on into doing that event, more things get added because
you're having to, there's things that you didn't even know about. That's how our prayer life can
be sometimes. We go through life and more circumstances come our way. So we add more
things, but we realize that thing's gone. So make a list so you can start crossing it off. Because
I bet you you're answering, having prayers answered way more than you even think.
But if you're not, what you need to do is examine your lifestyle.
What is your lifestyle like?
Sin can keep us from having answered prayer.
Doubt and unbelief can get us so we have unanswered prayer.
Unforgiveness can keep us from receiving prayers being answered.
There are certain things in our walks with God that hinder us.
Sin, sin can keep you from getting answered prayer.
So what are those things that I just listed?
Just four of them.
Let's look at four of those things and say,
is there any of these four things
that are existent in my life?
Like maybe you might need to get rid of some friends.
If your friends are not of good influence
to you. And it says in Corinthians, bad, bad morals corrupts good company. Right. So you need
to like it's not bad morals. It's bad company corrupts good morals. That's what it is. So if you
hang around the wrong people, guess what? You're going to start acting like them.
That's how it works.
So you need to make sure, iron sharpening iron,
you're to be equally yoked, not unequally yoked.
So pick your friends, pick them wisely,
and if you haven't and they're not good, get rid of them.
That doesn't mean that you have to dump them completely,
but what that means is you shelf them and you only spend time with
them minimally okay because what they do will influence you and potentially draw
you right back into a poor lifestyle I know this because I was not saved for a
period of time in my life and I had to go I had to leave the the place that I
was living because I couldn't I could not stay saved and
still exist in the lifestyle or with the people I was hanging out with. It was not going to happen.
Are you being disciplined and going to church and spending time in the Word, spending time in prayer?
Sometimes they'll say, I pray all the time, but I don't see any changes. But the thing is,
you're praying and you've only done it for two two weeks two days whatever but you've lived another lifestyle
for a longer period of time or you've sown seed and you want it to be like we live in a microwave
world depending on how how old you are you're used to things happening spontaneously, quickly.
Me?
56.
Guess what?
I grew up with no microwave.
I grew up where you put something on the stove and you had to wait for it to warm up and heat up, right?
That's a whole different.
I don't live in that mindset.
I know that good things take time. I also know that if I've sown seed, then there's a period of time where whatever I sowed has to be pulled up and uprooted.
And that doesn't happen overnight sometimes.
Sometimes it does.
Sometimes it doesn't happen overnight. A lot of times, uh, it can, but a lot of times it depends on us.
And most of us, especially if we're newly saved or for not seasoned in our walk, it takes a little
bit longer because there's things that we are having to renew our mind about.
Make sure you're studying the word. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word. I made a list.
You have to renew your mind. Like I just said, life and death is held in the tongue.
Make sure that the words that you're saying are life. They bring life. Life and death is held in the tongue. And people think, well, that only pertains to if you hate somebody, if you're
speaking kind to somebody. No, it doesn't mean that. Some people say, well, it means like if I say I'm afraid I'm
going to die and I'm sick. No, it's not just mean that either. It means you can speak life into your
finances. Some people will say, I don't have the money to do that. I can't afford to do that.
What did you just speak? You spoke death over your finances. You don't have to say those things.
You can say right now, I'm going to hold off on that.
But in the future, I will be purchasing that.
There are different things that you can say that speak faith and knowing that things will
come to pass.
But you saying, I can't do that.
I don't have the money to do that.
Well, again, it's like, be very mindful.
And I'm not telling you to be the word police and be the word police with other people.
All I'm saying is just be mindful of the words that you speak.
If you're believing for something, what you say matters.
And if you want, like there's people who want to have children that can't have children
and they'll speak that they can't have children.
But what you should be saying is right now we're working for it.
We're working to have a child
or I'm believing for a child.
You don't say, well, the doctor says I can't have a child.
I hope I have one one day.
Okay, you double-minded, double-minded right there.
Doctor says I can't have one.
I'm believing I'll have one one day.
That's not what you do.
You say, I'm believing and standing on the word of God.
And the word of God is very clear that barren women can have children. It's what you do. You say, I'm believing and standing on the word of God. And the word of God is very clear that barren women can have children.
It's what you say and how you say it.
And there's, I mean, Abraham, everything, the world was founded,
the sand on the, I mean, Abraham was told,
you'll have as many children as there's sand on the seashore.
There's many stars in the sky.
The first three generations were all cultivated by barren women. So it doesn't matter. God turned the womb,
opened it, and then they had multiple children. Okay. Do you have your prayer language? And that's
a must. If you have, listen, Satan does not understand your prayer language.
If you do not have your prayer language, you need to get it.
And I'm going to finish up with this.
Prayer language changes everything for everybody.
Okay?
I don't think there's anybody.
All of you guys have your prayer language, right?
Talia, you do too?
Problem is a lot of people are afraid to get it because of the unknown. It scares the tarnation out of them okay because they don't know so Tracy how old were you
when you got filled with the Holy Spirit I was only like 12 years ago 12 years ago so what was
that being in your 20s yeah like late 20s early 20s late 20s okay early 20s? Late 20s? Mm-hmm. Okay. I'll tell you. How old were you?
I think 14.
14.
Norma?
I was 18.
18.
And I was 27 or 28.
Yeah, about the same.
Somewhere around in there.
Mm-hmm.
Oh, I was 26 or 27.
Excuse me.
If a 14-year-old can get it, hasn't Charlotte gotten filled with tongues or is it Tootie?
I think Allison and Brinley. I haven't heard her, but she said she did.
Yeah. So, uh, my son, he was 16. Yeah. So I'm just saying that, and the next question that we'll go
into on Monday clearly talks about this. And it, it is, it's a great question.
The question is, if I want to be baptized in the Holy Spirit so that I can receive my prayer language, what do I do?
Tune on Wednesday because it's great instruction.
But if you don't have your prayer language, the word is very clear.
Paul says he spoke in tongues more than all of us
and longed for us to speak in tongues.
People will say that was back for that time or at the time of Pentecost.
Paul was way past the Pentecost, way past.
So he was speaking in tongues.
Lots of other disciples were as well.
So tongues are not for then.
It's still for now.
And I've had a lot of people, like Baptist.
Some of my friends were, I'm thinking of two really great girlfriends,
staunchly Baptist, very much against speaking in tongues,
didn't really believe in it very skeptical studied out the word
actually studied it out
and they were like oh my gosh
because it's a doctrine
and a theology
it is not what the Bible says
and both of them were filled with tongues
both of them
speak in tongues
you could have never convinced them
that it was real
that it was actual factual
I was a skeptic
I was a huge skeptic
you too?
but they were worse than me
and I used to say
I don't believe in it
not that I don't believe in the Holy Spirit
I just didn't believe in speaking in tongues
and until it happens to you
and then when it radically changes your life, then you know this is real. So that's the main
thing that I would tell you. Examine your lifestyle. Find out, like, maybe it's nothing.
Maybe your lifestyle is perfect. Maybe you're not doing anything wrong. Maybe you don't have
unforgiveness in your heart. Maybe you're not sinning. Maybe your lifestyle is very pure and very good.
You're doing all the right things.
Maybe you are consistent in your prayer times and in reading the word and things like that
and going to church and iron sharpening iron.
Maybe all of that's great.
Maybe you're wrong.
Maybe you are seeing things more than you really think you are.
Or maybe you're not.
But I can tell you but I can tell you, and I can promise
you, if you received the gift of tongues for personal prayer language, I'm not talking about
for the body of Christ. I'm saying for your own personal prayer language. There's two different
ones. It'll be the best thing you ever did in your whole entire life. Hands down, you won't
even care about unanswered prayers. They will be answered.
Trust me.
The other thing is I would say if you're not seeing what you want,
the end results of what you're wanting, start fasting.
The Holy Spirit will reveal to you why.
Maybe you don't understand why things are going wrong. He will reveal to you because the more you break down yourself and things like that,
then you're able to hear him more clearly and
you'll find out what's hindering you from receiving answer prayer. That's the important
thing. Speaking in tongues though, don't live without it. If you're living without it,
start changing that. Because again, would you say, I mean, for me, it was life changing.
Yeah.
Same.
Norma?
Yes.
Tal?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm just telling you, it's crazy.
All right.
We're going to close out.
It's the weekend.
It's going to be wet and rainy.
Is it both days?
Yeah.
It's both days? Yeah.
High percentage.
Yeah.
Saturday and Sunday.
I'm taking down the tree tonight.
Oh.
That sucker's droopy, man.
It is droopy.
Dry and droopy.
Ours is real.
I'm taking it out.
It's preserved.
It's preserved.
Like, we put this stuff in the water that makes the tree, like, just...
Yeah.
And stay there.
No needles fall off.
Oh.
Oh, no. Oh, wow. Mine are, like... Mine were, like, snowing off. You don fall off. Oh, no.
Oh, wow.
Mine were like snowing off. You don't have the stuff, girl.
You got to buy the stuff.
Okay.
Next year.
I'm just telling you.
Next year.
It mummifies it.
Literally mummifies the tree.
Interesting.
It does.
It's the best thing ever.
I'll try that.
But tonight, taking down the Christmas tree,
taking everything down.
I don't want to be walking out in the rain,
dropping that tree off.
Trash day is today.
No, trash day is not today.
What about today?
Personal questions, personal issues right now, people.
Sorry about this, but trash day Monday was a holiday.
Trash day is tomorrow.
I took it out too early.
My son's out of town, so I took it out.
But actually, even if he was in town, I still might have taken it out.
Same.
Yes.
God bless him.
Love him very much.
Can't wait to see him.
All right.
If you don't know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, today is your day.
If you've known him but you've walked away, listen.
Just get it right.
Quit running.
There ain't no point in running.
Life does not, you've tasted and seen that the Lord is good.
And once you've tasted him, nothing ever will fill that void.
But if you don't know him, you're walking around empty.
And you might or might not know why you feel so empty,
but he's the only thing that will fill that void in your life.
That's it. You can keep running. You can run, but you's the only thing that will fill that void in your life. That's it. And you can
keep running. You can run, but you can't hide. And he will try and find you, but he's not going
to push himself on you. So you just need to figure out today's the day to receive him as your Lord
and savior. Start fresh and new on an amazing life that he has in store for you.
The word says he has our steps ordered for us.
So your life is already played out and he has the best one planned for you.
You will never be able to do for yourself what he is willing to do for you.
But the thing that you must do is receive him as your Lord and Savior.
From there, you just sit in the passenger seat. but the thing that you must do is receive him as your Lord and Savior.
From there, you just sit in the passenger seat, you let him drive,
and he'll take you places that you never thought existed or was in the realm of possibility.
I promise you that.
I give you my word on that.
So if you don't know him, let's say this prayer really quick together.
Heavenly Father, I thank you for dying on the cross. I thank you for the forgiveness of my sins.
I thank you that through the stripes that you wore on your back, healing is provided for me.
The chastisement of peace was put upon you so that I can be saved. I ask you to forgive me of my sins.
I ask you to be the Lord of my life.
And wherever you tell me to go, I will go.
And whatever you tell me to do, I will do.
And I will live the best life I've ever known from this point on.
In Jesus' mighty name we pray.
Amen.
Have a great weekend.
If you don't live in the area, you will probably be dry.
Maybe not sunny. It could be gray. It could be cold, but at least it won't be raining. Have a great weekend. Bye. Real Talk you you
