Starting point is 00:00:00 Hello and welcome to the Hope Hotline. Thank you for joining us on Wednesday, March 7th? Is it the 7th? 6th. 6th. Golly, slow down. Oh my gosh. We do not need to.
Starting point is 00:00:35 Time is moving way too fast already. It's so fast. It is. It's ridiculous. It's March. I cannot believe it's March. I know. I know.
Starting point is 00:00:44 Yeah. Easter is only like three weeks away. Well, it's's March. I know. Easter is only like three weeks away. Well, it's also because Easter is ahead. It's like sooner, which I like Easter and March. Even though it's only... I do. I like it in March way better than
Starting point is 00:00:58 in April. There's reasons. All the snowbirds leave. They do. Easter, snowbirds leave. They do. Easter, snowbirds leave. Traffic dies down. Are they leaving, though? I think there were less snowbirds here this year than last year.
Starting point is 00:01:15 I do. I think that we had far less. The traffic here is far less than it was for the past two years. Now, you don't. Logan's in the house. She's just waiting for her child care provider. Now, you don't, what did you say? Logan's in the house. She's just waiting for her child care provider. So Heather, get your butt here. We're waiting on you. She's working on it. Oh yeah, that's true. Logan says the hurricane contractors made it feel like there was, it was heavier. That is absolutely true because you know what? We don't have all
Starting point is 00:01:42 the big black trucks hauling right trees away things like that that is actually accurate oh my gosh i see something i actually was going to talk about that were you yeah oh my gosh okay so love the love i don't love that it's march already i wish we would still be in january because things would slow down okay love that it's March already. I wish we would still be in January because things would slow down. Oh, okay. But if it's got to be, it's got to be. So thank you, Jesus. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:10 At least we're all here to experience March. Okay. Which we all will be because we all have a hedge of protection around us. Exactly. So that ain't going to change. Amen. But you want to run through your thing and then we'll hit some topics? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Cool beans.
Starting point is 00:02:20 Absolutely. Okay. So we are live on Facebook. If this is your first time watching, welcome. If you could just like and share and comment on Facebook if you're on there. If you're not, don't go over there. Just follow with me. Leave the building.
Starting point is 00:02:36 Yeah. Well, the building would be Facebook. Leave. Leave this platform. Yes. Leave the platform. Okay. So when you do, you like and share.
Starting point is 00:02:46 If you're already on there, like and share. And then comment. Tell us where you were watching. It'll help with the algorithm. I hope people see that this is live and everybody that forgets that we're live because they didn't do all the things, they'll hop on. And then I need you to have subscribe and ring the bell and all the things. If you forgot to do those things,
Starting point is 00:03:02 well, guess what? Facebook, you're there. Say hello. Move along. Okay, so now we're on Rumble. If you forgot to do those things, well, guess what? Facebook, you're there. Say hello. Move along. Okay. So now we're on Rumble. If you could like and share, or I need you to like, I need you to follow, and I need you to comment in the live chat. If you have something that you want to say that you want it to stick around, you've got to add the comment. So if you look underneath the video, there's a comment section. Whatever is in the live chat will disappear at the end. And so if there's something that Talia or I missed, then just put it in the comments for me. And again, you can always send your questions later.
Starting point is 00:03:33 I'll get to that slide in a second. We've got YouTube. This is where you can subscribe and you can hit the bell. And when you do that, if you have like your Gmail that you've logged in through, you'll get notifications on your phone as a reminder that we are live and then black robe is our own platform so it's our safety zone for anything that goes wild i know a lot of um we were a little bit busy yesterday because our tuesdays are busy but i heard that facebook was having a rough time and instagram too so if that ever happens guess what we our own platform. So we are safe and sound. And we are also on audio podcast. So that's on Spotify and Apple Play and all those good things.
Starting point is 00:04:11 If you need to just listen instead of watch along with us. If you're watching the replay, let us know wherever you are, whatever platform you're on. Let us know that you're watching the replay. Okay. Moving along to send in your questions. We are getting some very different questions and we appreciate that. We love the different questions. We love when you guys have a question to a question. If we don't touch on a certain thing or it makes you think of something
Starting point is 00:04:34 else, we love that too. If you don't know if we've answered your question, send it again. If it's been a couple months, like Hope said, if it's been like two or three months and we haven't touched on it, just send me an email. AskHope at HopeHotline.com and I will get it and I will look for it. And if you aren't sure we've asked the question, ask me. I'll get some information to you guys. Lastly, we have our merch and today I will be taking care of the hat situation. It looks like they are coming in. So, um, if you are interested in what we've got right now, foundationchurchfl.com, click shop. If you guys are wearing your tea or you have your mug or anything like that online, just tag, if you're Instagram, tag the whole pot line, or if you wear it or have your spoon and you're cooking with it, or you're drinking out of your mug. Only if you're cooking with it.
Starting point is 00:05:27 Please do not share if you're doing anything else with it. You might get arrested. Yeah, exactly. And you know, if you know, you know, right? Liability people. If you know, you know. Okay. So if you have it, send a picture in.
Starting point is 00:05:38 If it's appropriate, who knows? Who knows what will happen with that picture? So yeah, if you are sporting any of our merch, we would love, love, love to see it. And we have this. Do you want to touch on this or do you want to wait? Yeah, let's do it, girl. Keep her going. Okay.
Starting point is 00:05:53 So then we also have our Beloved Ladies Conference. And this year it is victorious. So this is our save the date. And we will be together August 22nd, 23rd, and 24th of this year. So mark that on your calendar. Like Hope said, this life, these days are going so fast. So before you know it, it is going to be August. Hot August.
Starting point is 00:06:15 It'll be hot. And we will be together in very cold buildings. So don't worry about that. But yeah, it'll be here before you know it. So just jot it down real quick. Put it in your little calendar on your phone. Write it down if you've got a calendar at home. Don't forget.
Starting point is 00:06:31 And we'll keep talking about it. But we're excited for that as well. And I think that's it for today, for now. For now. Yeah, because we've got a couple other things. You know, I wanted to make a correction. Because when we were talking last week about about um you know how i was talking about how the media department like they have their own church and stuff like that and i was
Starting point is 00:06:49 referring do you remember that and i was referring to the number of people watching yeah i was referring to the people watching live right not referring to the yeah that's true replay that's because good call live right now we have anywhere anywhere between 500 and 600 people watching. That's insane that our media department, that's our actual church. Because that's a little less than what we have in the actual building, in the sanctuary. I know. Because the sanctuary can be anywhere between 700 and 800 and something people. So that's nuts that they have, like they are, their church service that they're running is live.
Starting point is 00:07:34 And then the replays are off the charts. Like how many people watch the replays is way, way, way, way, way more. Thousands of people watch the replay. Just on Rumble alone, Rumble alone runs like 1.8 on average, 1.4, 1.8 that watch it on the replay. Then there's Black Robe, and then there's, we took it off of Facebook, and we took it off of, we take it down off of YouTube,
Starting point is 00:07:59 which we would have far more, but they use that against us. Yes, they do. But it's crazy. Like if you think about ministry, about your abilities to like share the gospel, and that is one of them, if you don't, if you've got a skill set for media, like anywhere from, you know, changing the words on the screen during worship to being a camera person to, you know just being a director like um
Starting point is 00:08:28 sarah does if you have a skill set you need to be using that so you know how to do lights you know you're not going to run the sound i can promise you that that's like a you like you have to be really high you have to do what naz does Ty does, you have to have a higher skill set. But the other things you can be easily trained in. So, but I was thinking about that. I was like, that didn't sound right because I made it sound like 600 people are what watch it. No, 600 live. We've been, we've gone over that, over 600 live, but normally it's between five and 600 people that are watching it. So if you have a skill set for that, and if you're watching us, um, our Sunday service, cause you don't live in the
Starting point is 00:09:09 area, then you're being blessed by what other people are doing in this building. So everybody gives kudos to like worship team or like the pastor or whatever, but it's usually the greeters. It's the ushers. They get lost in the shuffle, even like the camera crew and things like that. But you can't do anything. I just had somebody visit the church on Sunday and they were saying, and they go to a very friendly church from out of the area and their church is very friendly. They're like, never experienced a church like ours as far as friendliness, message. And I was telling you, and you were like, you recognized who I was talking about. And you're like, they were literally sitting on the edge of their seat the whole entire time.
Starting point is 00:09:53 They were. I was like, and I found out later that they loved the service. They loved the message because they don't, you know, you don't hear the true gospel. Now, you'll see where people don't really like it. They get offended by it because they're not used to. It's always funny to me. The same people always stay and the same people always go. They're usually very weak when they leave.
Starting point is 00:10:21 They're weak individuals. They have no fortitude. It's like they never were disciplined when they lived in the home. individuals. They have no fortitude. It's like they've never were disciplined when they lived in the home. Do you know what I'm saying? Like discipline to them or correction to them is an offense, but the word is full of correction. That's why Jesus offended. He was such a great offense, but most people, they can't handle it. And how has people grown up nowadays? They've grown up with being raised in daycares or hippie parents where let my kids make their own decisions. That's not biblical.
Starting point is 00:10:53 When you raise a child with no biblical standard when they grow up, they will be offended by the word of God because you never taught them biblical principle, which is discipline. And that's what we have in most bodies of Christ. Most people can't handle the truth. They can't handle the word of God because it's such an offense to them. But it's always the same kinds of people. Women who run their homes never make it here
Starting point is 00:11:22 because they don't know how to cement. They don't want to cement. And they don't want their husband to be priest of the home. They want to be priest of the home. So nine times out of ten, those women never make it unless they see that within themselves and they know it's a struggle, but they're trying to beat what they're struggling. Yeah, true. Because there's a lot of women who are strong people that recognize that that's really what the word of God says. So they're going to try and
Starting point is 00:11:48 defeat their carnal nature. They make it. Yeah. They make it. And oftentimes they actually win. Right. Why are you guys laughing? That would be me. Me and Logan are like, hey. Guilty. Guilty. Wow. Logan, you really? Yes. know i know tracy because tracy already admitted to it i didn't know that logan i didn't know you were like that kudos that's wild i thought you were very no because she's listen the thing is is i'm a strong personality. Yeah. And I'm a very independent person, but I'm also always and have been always very submissive. Yeah. So I know you can be a strong woman and still be able to be submissive.
Starting point is 00:12:35 Right. Most strong women, though, are not submissive. Yeah. But I thought she was like me in that. I mean, anybody who eats their own, you know, placenta is probably, you know, submissive. What? I don't know. I just like to throw that in there.
Starting point is 00:12:52 I know you do. She loves that. She's like, bring it up somehow. Always. Yeah, if I can do it, I'm doing it. Oh, my gosh. I'm doing it. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:13:02 But that's interesting that you're, like, because Chris doesn't seem like he'd be the kind of person, like, that would back down too much. You know what I'm saying? He's not. He doesn't seem like he's a passive individual. He's not. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:22 So most husbands, not most, a lot of times when you see uh the women taking the lead role the guy is usually kind of very submissive himself very placating very passive and so he just he's not any of those things yeah he's kind of a mama's boy and that's but that it's easy for a woman to like lead him lead yeah that sounded bad yeah it did I'm sorry that sounded like he's a wuss but he's not he's so opposite of no and I have done a really good job at being submissive I believe Yeah, and Jer is very much like a dad, like a girl's dad. So he has like that tenderness. So that's what you're saying about Chris.
Starting point is 00:14:10 He's got a tenderness. So it's like, I guess they know that we love them but we're not called to lead them, but they trust both. Like both Jer and Chris trust us, but that still doesn't put us in a place where we should be making like the final decision. But sometimes it's easier.
Starting point is 00:14:25 Yeah, but Thomas liked all of that. Yeah. But he would never would have been like, there would never have been a question like who was going to be leading. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Mm-hmm. And he didn't grow up in a Christian home. Yeah, no, neither did they.
Starting point is 00:14:39 Well, neither did J.R., I should say. But it's, I think it's just, it's a different way of thinking. Yeah. Like, because he just was like, yeah, that's not going to happen. Because biblically speaking, I should say. But I think it's just a different way of thinking. Yeah. Because he just was like, yeah, that's not going to happen. Because biblically speaking, he knew it. But also, both Jer and Chris have actually learned more biblically here than anywhere else. So that probably has a lot to do with it. Do you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:15:00 Absolutely. There's reasons for everything. I'm just trying to process it. If it makes sense, we're both type A. So if we disagreed on something, we would just do our own thing. Now it's me coming under submission. If he has the final say, I cower down and say, okay, kind of tuck my tail and follow. Whereas before, I would have been like, no, that's what I'm going to do.
Starting point is 00:15:23 So see ya. And then I would do it. And then we'd come back and it'd be fine but gotcha he still didn't do what you wanted to do he did what he wanted to do yeah and it so but he wasn't gonna submit to you it was just okay then you're gonna do your own thing and i'm gonna do my own thing exactly which probably if probably is the case for a lot of people then, that even like the wife is trying to roll the roost. For strong men, they're like, well, that's on you then, because I'm going to do my thing.
Starting point is 00:15:55 Which is actually more biblically correct, because then, although the wife isn't submitting to them, they'll be held accountable for that, versus the guy having to answer for it. Interesting. I never looked at it like that. That's very interesting, actually. That's good that you guys are succumbing because you don't want to answer to that.
Starting point is 00:16:15 Nope. That would not be good. And just in general, like if it's not biblical, then it's not best. You know what I mean? So it's like, why fight against, if the Bible's very clear on it, like very clear, then why fight against it?
Starting point is 00:16:29 Carnally, you get like, you know. You can get hard-hearted. But I'm right. Yeah, but you can get hard-hearted through that. Yeah. Well, thank you. Yeah. Or resentful of him.
Starting point is 00:16:41 Right. That might be a reason why people have divorces, because both of them are struggling for power. Yeah. Yep. Did you ever deal with that? No. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:52 I didn't think so. I didn't think so. By nature, you're just like a, you got it. Just a sweet girl. You know what? From the jump, I trusted Jeff. And so because of that, it was very easy for me to submit because from the very beginning, I trusted him. Because you didn't grow up in a real strong, your church was archy.
Starting point is 00:17:18 So, right? Isn't that what you said? I grew up in a Pentecostal church, a conservative Pentecostal church. When we got married and transitioned to non-denominational, that's when it got a little archy. Okay, but then that means you did grow up, if it was Pentecostal holiness, then you grew up where you did know that you're supposed to submit to a guy. Right. It was modeled for me.
Starting point is 00:17:41 Not in my home because I grew up with a single mom. But you did see it around. In the families at our church, it was modeled for me. Okay. Not in my home because I grew up with a single mom. But you did see it around. In the families at our church, it was modeled for me. Yeah. So you already knew going into it. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:52 Interesting. Yeah. Very interesting. I know. So we have two rebellious individuals and two submissive individuals. The two rebellious are learning to be submissive. We're working on it. To be submissive. We're working on it. What would you give yourself on a scale of one to ten? To give people hope or to know how bad you suck. One to ten. How do you think you're doing? I'll give myself a seven. That's pretty good. Oh, is it? Okay. That's pretty good for somebody who's not really,
Starting point is 00:18:26 who battles it within. That's pretty dang good. Okay. A seven. Yeah. Okay. Logan. It depends on the issue,
Starting point is 00:18:35 but I'd give myself a solid six. It's better than a five. Okay. But you're newly saved too. So like. Yeah, but I'm good at following rules. So I should be good at this one. But like, for instance,
Starting point is 00:18:48 the house, when we were doing all the construction stuff, Chris said, this is your job. You make the decision and I trust you. But if I couldn't make the decision, I'd come to him. He'd make the final decision.
Starting point is 00:18:59 But there were a couple of things he tried to push back on. Like he really wanted the laundry in our master closet. And we, exactly. I was like, no, no, no. We can't do it. No, no, no. Like you're a cop. You need to come in through the garage.
Starting point is 00:19:15 You need to take off your clothes there. That's not the reason why. That's not why I would hate it. Why? Because I would hate hearing that thing in my bedroom. Oh, you would hear? Oh, I didn't even i didn't even know because i do it laundry at night yeah i am here like i would hate having it in my bedroom just because of the hearing it would it and just so you know that is not a good selling point so you made the right decision yeah real estate wise you't put. Well, that was my argument is I do the laundry.
Starting point is 00:19:46 So let me make the decision. And then he was kind of like, whatever, you know, but resale not good to have it in your master bedroom. So kudos to you for a thanks. He would not have like solid six. I'm working on it. Sarah's watching
Starting point is 00:20:01 and she gives herself a strong fork. You're not here. So I really don't know. This is funny. Coming from a negative 20. You get no voice when you're not here. Just so you know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:16 Sarah. Sarah's playing hooky today, which is okay. Well, she let me know it was, she had something generator issues. She had things. Well, it was like a generator issue. I don't know. Something, something work had something generator issues. She had things. Well, it was like a generator issue.
Starting point is 00:20:27 I don't know. Something, something work related. We'll allow it Sarah. Yeah. I think she'd probably rather be here. Cause we're so amazing. That's Tracy.
Starting point is 00:20:38 She's modest. So this is what I wanted to, I went, I'm not like, I'm a, I'm a brag. Cause I'm a, I'm a brag. Cause I'm a, I'm a mama.
Starting point is 00:20:48 But like yesterday was such a special day. Like we didn't tell anybody that she was doing this, not for fear of backing her bank, backing out, but we just didn't really tell anybody about it. Cause you know, you don't want to be like, guess what?
Starting point is 00:21:01 You know, but now I am. Okay, good. Cause it happened. So now I'm going to be like, guess what? Yes. Proud mama moment.
Starting point is 00:21:09 Yeah. Yesterday, Norma. You know, this is like, people always wonder, like, how this steps, your steps are ordered by the Lord. And I will say this. So first of all, thank you to Brian, who watches this podcast. Thank you so much for giving her this opportunity. Um,
Starting point is 00:21:27 because like people are, how does things like this happen for people? Well, cause God sets you up, he'll set it up. Right. And that's just so sweet. But,
Starting point is 00:21:37 uh, someone that comes to the church actually works for the brave stadium. And the guy he works with does does is the one that brings in the singers for the national anthem and it just so happened this guy said hey listen if you ever hear about somebody who can sing you know I'm always looking for people and so he was like I do know somebody who can sing so he called the church Norma took the call, um, voicemail. She was so excited. I made the call back and then you have to, you have to like, um, send in something of you singing because you, you, they just don't let you, it's like an audition that you have to go through.
Starting point is 00:22:18 And this, we send it in and he was like, uh, heck to the yeah. Yeah, yeah let's do it and so that's how it all happened for her and it was a great experience yeah and that's a hard song that's a flipping hard song like hard and you have no people people i mean lots of people realize this but you have no instruments to hide squat right yeah that And there's an echo. She never got to practice, which was a concern. And she's like, there's an echo. And I'm like, well, let's see if we can get you in for practice. But it didn't work out that they could.
Starting point is 00:22:58 And they were like, she'll be fine. And they were right. They know what they're talking about. But there was still an echo. But she made it through all of that and um it was such a special for my family for her brother for her dad for all of us me well yeah that's true i loved it that's true but i played basketball so like that song like every time i hear it it just like it's so special to me. And then to hear her singing it. It is super special.
Starting point is 00:23:26 Like it really was really special for me. Do you know the lyrics of that song? Absolutely not. There's so many lyrics. I think I made up some words as I go. Yeah, I think I made up some words. But I never sang it out loud. They don't, like you don't get to take, they were like, the thing that you need to worry
Starting point is 00:23:42 most about is forgetting the words. Right. Right. I think the rest of it will be easy. But it's not really that simple because you can majorly hit wrong notes. And if you're super nervous, you'll not hit the notes. Yeah. I can imagine.
Starting point is 00:23:58 I don't know, but I can imagine. Oh, yeah. Because your voice tightens up. Right. So when your voice tightens up, then it makes it so it's very difficult to hit notes. So super proud. Yeah. I don't want to hear the whole thing, but what did you pull for me, baby?
Starting point is 00:24:13 Well, it's Jagger's video, and it is the full thing. Do you want to play a certain part of it? Let's play, like, it's two minutes, right? Yeah. Let's go to, let's hit the middle of it and then go the rest of it. Okay. So this is about a minute. What do you think?
Starting point is 00:24:29 Yeah. Let's do the middle. Halfway at the end. Halfway. So go halfway and then finish it. Let her finish it off. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:36 Perfect. So then like at the 56, 52nd mark or something, would that be? No. How long is it? It's 220, right? It's 202. 202. Yeah.20, right? It's 2.02. 2.02. Yeah, so a minute's like about half. Let's start at the 60 second mark.
Starting point is 00:24:50 Okay, here we go. The red parts we watch were so gallantly streaming And the rocket ro red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Starting point is 00:25:14 Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave Yay. She did good. That's my girl. The place was not sold out, so that did help. But they were still, like, they just kept coming in, kept coming in. I mean, it was packed. Was it? That place was packed, but it wasn't sold out.
Starting point is 00:26:12 So I told her, I'm like, it's not sold out. That'll help. There's still thousands. Yeah. I don't know how many people that place holds, but there's thousands. But I told her, I'm like, they're drunk. At the time, you start singing, they've already been here told her i'm like they're drunk at the time you start singing they've already been here for about an hour they're drunk they're not gonna know no i have no idea it's all right right oh my gosh so it can accommodate up to 8 000 people i believe that
Starting point is 00:26:39 eight cool today park i think probably 6200 six probably if I were to guess. 6,200 fixed seats. If I were to guess, it was half full. Okay. It was half full. It's about 3,000 then. Yeah. I don't think it was more than that. But I'm not great with numbers.
Starting point is 00:26:56 It was pretty full. Yeah. Full. Pretty full. Full. So shut up. Not sold out, but full. Not sold out.
Starting point is 00:27:03 But to me, that's a lot of people. Like I told her, I said, you're seeing in front of lots of people every Sunday. Right. What's the difference between this and that? Right. I mean, it's several thousand more. it's just the song. No, I know. And it's special. It is special. And it's different.
Starting point is 00:27:22 And you don't want to screw that up like Roseanne Barr. Or Fergie. Do you remember? Oh, Fergie's is special. And it's different. And you don't want to screw that up like Roseanne Barr. Or Fergie. Do you remember? Oh, Fergie's is terrible. What was she doing? Poor Fergie. And the thing is, I watched that just before Norma did. Did you?
Starting point is 00:27:36 Just last week. I was like, oh, dear lords of mercy. And she, like, I felt bad for those basketball players. And as you see them going panning by them, they're just like not wanting to laugh. Right. You know what? I want her confidence.
Starting point is 00:27:51 I know. Because she was like, I'm killing it right now. Right. I don't even understand what's happening. I think she was high. Okay. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:27:59 That or she had nothing in her in-ears. Okay. She had no in-ears in because how you think. Right. You're killing that. She turned it into like a jazz moment when it shouldn't have been well i asked norma i asked norma how are you gonna sing it and she was like i think she was just planning he's like i didn't know i was like because she has a twang to her voice already i'm like are you gonna make it be like with your like normal?
Starting point is 00:28:26 Are you going to not sing like very like white bread kind of thing? I didn't know how she was going to do it. But the little she did a tiny little run at the very end, but you can't hear it because everybody was clapping. Oh, OK. But she wasn't going to make it very. Yeah. Like extra. No, she was. She just
Starting point is 00:28:45 was making it very... I love that it's like her style. Yeah. When you hear Norma, you're like, I know. She has a style. It was so special. Oh, she does. And that's what she brought. Yep. And that was cool. Yeah. She just sounded like her. She did. And it was good. And I shaken like a leaf for her. For you? My hand. I have my hand over my chest. Right. Oh, my gosh. I know. I was nervous.
Starting point is 00:29:09 I can imagine. I said to Jagger, I said, you're going to, well, he has a way better phone than me. Like, his phone is newer and stuff like that. And I'm like, you're videoing, right? Because I'm going to take the pictures. Yeah, yeah. Because I can take a thousand pictures. And while I'm shaking, if one of them is bad, one of them will end up right.
Starting point is 00:29:24 Oh, my gosh. He's like, yeah, I'll video yeah because it'll be like this right oh my gosh I mean like when Tommy's fighting oh I know I'm shaking like a leaf yeah Talia goes oh geez because Talia is normally stuck next to me yes Yes. To a certain extent. It's not pretty. No. So proud of my girl. Me too. And then I wanted,
Starting point is 00:29:50 now this, this is slightly, I'm worried to a certain extent, but, I can slap it already. Okay. Did I, I sent this to you, right, Vanessa?
Starting point is 00:30:01 No. I didn't send this to you? I'm offended. You should be. I sent this out. How did I forget you? Right, right, Vanessa? No. I didn't send this to you? I'm offended. You should be. I sent this out. How did I forget you? Right. How could you?
Starting point is 00:30:09 Did I not send this? I didn't send this to Talia. Me and Talia are. I sent it to Tracy, Logan. I sent it to a crew. Obviously not all my crew. I didn't even send it to Sarah, I don't think. That's it, I quit.
Starting point is 00:30:21 I sent it to Clover. I sent it to all the people who always send me. There's a group that we send Instagram. I don't do TikTok, but we send Instagram posts to where it's jacked up. But Vanessa, I usually send these to you. I don't know what the heck. What happened? The ones that we share the same sense of humor.
Starting point is 00:30:45 So there's a group of us. Okay. Some of them don't even know each other. Well, they do, but they don't know that I do this with other people and they do it with me. I have to share this one with you because I died of laughter. This video is daggum flipping hilarious. I mean, did you think it was funny? Yes, and I found the videos of him doing the original acts.
Starting point is 00:31:08 So I have to find those and send those to you. Yes. Okay, so I have questions then after this is over really quick. Okay, we got to show them. All right, show the clip. All right, here we go. City police have charged a man, 31-year-old Dwayne Townsend, is charged with indecent exposure and disorderly
Starting point is 00:31:25 conduct on several occasions dating back to November of 2018. And you see that's what the problem is. Now, it's a beautiful day. I want to come outside with my shirt off and I was just jogging trying to get my body back in shape and all of a sudden I get hit stick like I'm on Madden. Boom!'t know where by a cop and uh you know it scared the hell out of me i was so scared y'all i didn't on myself and i'm talking about i was wet i was wetter than a well in a bubble bath drinking a bottle of water okay and to myself i said indecent exposure hold up wait a minute something ain't right what you want me to I'm a man. You want me to put on a bra? Man, that bra strap will snap like a budget card. Just go. And, you know, I just came out of court and they just gave me two court dates. One for each titty. I'm sorry. It's not a fantastic response. I'm sorry. It's not a fantastic response.
Starting point is 00:32:25 I'm sorry. I want to be this man's friend. Yes. I'm not kidding you. What a storyteller. I want to be this man's friend. What is he wearing on his head? A baseball cap, I think. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:32:39 Put it back up. From a Mennonite. Oh, my gosh. Oh, no. It's like a Jewish beanie. That hat don't fit. I never noticed that. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:33:00 Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Okay. I can't even tell you how many times I've watched that. I'm not kidding you. I cannot even tell you how many times I've watched that. I never. I paid attention so much to how when he peed himself, how wet he was.
Starting point is 00:33:18 I watched it so many times. I'm just saying, guys. I was dying. Oh, my gosh. But the hat. The hat. I want to be his friend. I was dying. Oh, my gosh. But the hat. The hat. I want to be his friend. I have to be this guy's friend.
Starting point is 00:33:29 We got to find him. Oh, my gosh. He's hilarious. He needs to be in the peanut gallery. Okay. He's not well mentally, though. Oh, he's not? No.
Starting point is 00:33:39 I can't be friends with you. The video that I saw of him doing one of the acts, he made a slip and slide in Walmart. What? He ain't right. He had no shirt on and I think no pants, just maybe boxers. And he made a slip and slide like where you check out.
Starting point is 00:34:02 So that's why he got indecent exposure. They couldn't get him on anything else. There's no property damage because you can wipe up the water. Like he just... Oh my gosh. I think it was like milk and water and he just was like, let's go.
Starting point is 00:34:16 And he slipped. Oh my... Because here's what I was going to ask you. Okay, that's what I was going to ask you, Logan. Like was he ever indecently exposed? Like, did he ever, like, was he, like, ever? He was exposed and his body is indecent, so I would... Wow. So I would say absolutely. He has, check the statute
Starting point is 00:34:40 there. Oh my gosh. That's dang funny, girl. that's dang funny girl that's dang funny because i didn't know like i don't know any much about law so i don't know if being in your underwear is indecent exposure like he didn't make it sound like he's ever like been naked thank you jesus i'm just saying well. So it's more than one act. It wasn't, because I thought, well, why are they giving him two charges for the same thing
Starting point is 00:35:11 when it was only one act? Maybe there were two Walmarts he hit. I don't know. Oh my gosh. No, he said he was out running. Yeah, running. He ran and slid. So it wasn't like
Starting point is 00:35:30 he was jogging. He said that he was running to get into shape. So him getting into shape is at the Walmart jogging on a slip and slide? Yeah. Oh, he ain't right.
Starting point is 00:35:40 Maybe he jogged from the parking lot inside. Yeah. And he needed to cool off. It was a beautiful day. He was running. Seriously, he can't be friends with me.
Starting point is 00:35:52 Something ain't right in his head. But I'm telling you, he's flipping funny. He's a storyteller. He's a great storyteller. Hold up. Hold up. Could you imagine being the judge and him coming to the, and the judge being like, okay,
Starting point is 00:36:05 well what happened? Like him? I would never, I would never make it. Oh my gosh. I would never make it. But the reporter at the end. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:16 Like how do you keep it together? You can't. The reporter. What do you, she's the newscaster. Right. I don't, do they even get to see these before they're,
Starting point is 00:36:27 you would have to see that in order not to lose it. Right. And I don't even know how many times you would have to watch it before. Because I'm telling you, I laugh so many times. I've watched, I can't even tell you how many times I've watched that thing. I can't.
Starting point is 00:36:40 Remember the one, Hide the Kids. Oh, I love that one. That one will forever live. Oh my gosh. That one's up there too. And you know the other one that's up there
Starting point is 00:36:52 is the one about the heel. The one about the heel, about the bread, the bread and the heel. I don't know how appropriate that one is. It's not. It's not appropriate. No, but it's funny.
Starting point is 00:37:09 You sent that one to me, actually. You did. Yeah, and that, I can't tell you. That one made the cut. I cannot tell you how many times I watched that thing and laughed so daggum hard.
Starting point is 00:37:21 I'm like, it must be funny. The guy can't even say it. Right. That's funny. Now, is that lewd and lewd joking or is that crude joking so I've sent repent right now ready you're not allowed to do that
Starting point is 00:37:35 that wasn't though right yeah that's not well I've caused some people to sin because that heel one I sent out to several people. Sorry about that. Yeah, you do. And I've even, when I've gotten down to the heel, I've said the joke. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:00 Because I think it's funny. I might not ever do that again. See, we're all refining and perfecting ourselves. We are. One day at a time. One day at a time. A renewing. Renewing.
Starting point is 00:38:11 It's constantly happening. A fresh start is a new beginning. Yes. We're a hotline. We're a hotline. We're always working. Always. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:38:24 All right. Now we only have 20 minutes left 22 minutes sorry guys but i have an agenda and sometimes it ain't answering your questions it's really all about me so thank you it goes you that is true ben shapiro has his um peanut gallery if you will show him videos on the spot and then he reacts. We should maybe do a day of that where we pick videos and you watch.
Starting point is 00:38:51 That would not be good. No, it would be, you would pick them because you and Hope have the same level of like whatever that is. No, because Vanessa has sent me some too.
Starting point is 00:39:01 Vanessa, listen. I'm pretty good at it. Listen, if it's going be like tom tom does not have the same sense of you whenever i if you're falling if you're farting then he's he's liking right now i like the ethnic like yes you do come on yes you do like yes you know let's and i think it's my dc yeah coming out love like. It might be. Yeah. Don't, like the falling and the farting.
Starting point is 00:39:28 I mean, sometimes the falling's funny to me. And I'll laugh at it. Yeah. But Tom and I do not share the same. Now, Tommy, Tommy laughs at them all. Tommy's, Tommy, I can show stuff to Tommy and he thinks it's funny. Norma always thinks almost always what I, but she's like me. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:41 Okay. Yeah, you're going to have to stick with Logan and Vanessa. Oh, I 100% agree. Or Clover. Clover. Clover. We'll add her in. Come on.
Starting point is 00:39:49 Maybe she needs to come back. Clover can send me some good stuff. Maybe she needs to come back and watch the videos with you. We'll watch videos together. A reaction. A reaction video with Clover, Pastor Clover, and Pastor Hope. Definitely. Can we just eliminate the titles
Starting point is 00:40:05 for this particular, when we do this particular podcast, though? Because I don't think we should have that title in front of anybody's name, potentially. Okay. After the videos that I've shown. It might be sacrilegious. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:20 Like when the Pope is doing things that he shouldn't be doing. I think he removes the name Pope. We'll keep it PG. He just goes by doing. I think he removes the name Pope. He just goes by John. Yeah, we'll keep it PG. We'll keep it PG. Yeah, we don't want to send.
Starting point is 00:40:31 We're not sending him. We're not sending him. Yeah, not with Vanessa. Vanessa won't let us. I've seen what Vanessa sent me. Oh, wow. That's bull. Okay. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:40:46 It's pretty dang funny though I'm sorry like I'm sorry that heel one Simone wants to know if you remember the bronchitis video oh heck yeah I almost said that one but the heel one beats the bronchitis one there's a
Starting point is 00:41:01 about the fire yeah the fire up in here nobody got time for that? Yeah. The fire up in here. I grabbed my shoes, Lord. That one's, that one we could show and not get in trouble for. Okay, see. Oh, Lord Jesus. There's a fire.
Starting point is 00:41:21 Have you ever heard the song? No. Ain't nobody got time for that? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. That's the best. Have you ever heard the song? Ain't nobody got time for that? Oh yeah, yes, yes, yes, yes. That's the best. She might be crazy, but I'd like to be her friend too. She might be crazy.
Starting point is 00:41:33 That's okay. That's funny. Listen, there's another one that is stinking funny. It's these two girls. I'll show it to you guys afterwards because it would take too much time to find. But it's on YouTube. And it's about mosquito repellent.
Starting point is 00:41:52 Have you ever watched that? Oh, my gosh. These two girls from Louisiana. That one's clean. It's dang funny. Well, I'll show it to you guys after. Oh, I know which one you're saying. Have I ever showed that one to you? Yes. They're in a car together? Yeah. I know exactly one you're saying have I ever showed that one to you?
Starting point is 00:42:05 they're in a car together me and Tom watched that that he thought was funny I thought it was funny too some people don't think it's funny I on the other hand cried laughing I think we're going to have to do a video watching video
Starting point is 00:42:21 that would be funny people are like Rumble is having a good time in the chat watching video. Yeah. That would be funny. That would be so funny. People are like, Rumble is having a good time in the chat. Yeah. Yes. They're loving us. There's a party in the chat.
Starting point is 00:42:30 There's a party in the chat. Party in the house? Yep. Party in the house. Sounds good. Well, as Tom said on Sunday, we're about to end
Starting point is 00:42:39 on a downer. Oh my God. I cried laughing. That man makes me laugh so dang hard. I know. He is the funniest. That was funny funniest he's probably one of the funniest human beings
Starting point is 00:42:50 ever I need to redeem myself with him though oh my gosh no please don't because that makes it even better I told him Sunday I don't remember I said Tom when Vanessa said I'll never do it again I laugh so hard he is like Sunday or I don't remember. I said Tom when Vanessa said, I'll never do it again.
Starting point is 00:43:07 I laugh so hard. He is like, oh, my gosh. Even like the kids are gone all the time now. They're doing their own thing. Tommy's in Tampa all the time. Norma's right now house sitting and stuff like that. So he and I are by ourselves all the time. And that man, the other night, he had me cry and laughing so dang hard.
Starting point is 00:43:32 I love that. He is the – that's the only reason I liked him, because he didn't have much going on with him when I first met him. But he made you laugh. He was so dang funny. That's the secret, ladies. He was so dang funny. Oh, my secret, ladies. He was so dang funny. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:43:49 He hasn't lost that skill set. He got hotter. He just kept the funny. Yeah. And it really helps to get hotter and be funny. And be funny. I know. Hey. Double Annie.
Starting point is 00:43:58 That's gold. That's like hitting a jackpot. Yeah. Because, listen, he was fat, not attractive, and funny. And I, listen, I've dated really great looking guys, and I have dated really ugly guys. Now, he wasn't in the category of really ugly, but he was pushing it. Oh, my gosh. He had potential.
Starting point is 00:44:22 He wasn't that great. Huh? He had potential. You wasn't that great. Huh? He had potential. You could see the potential. I could barely see his eyes because his face was so fat that his eyes were squinting. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:44:34 I was like, as he lost weight, I went, oh, your eyes are green. Oh, my gosh. Bless him. Bless his right. Bless his pee-picking heart.
Starting point is 00:44:44 So funny He gains weight in his face His eyes do get squinty I didn't They do The heavier it gets The squintier the eyes Oh my gosh
Starting point is 00:44:59 Yep That's funny But He's dang funny And oh my gosh The man makes me roll. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:45:07 So 15 minutes left. What a podcast. We might only get to one question, people. Listen. Sorry. I don't know. I'll rush through the first one to get to the second. Blame it on Logan.
Starting point is 00:45:27 Yeah. It's all Logan's fault. It's always Logan's fault. My man was a buck 40. I thought he was gay, but he made me laugh. He made me laugh. You thought Christian was gay? I did when I first met him.
Starting point is 00:45:42 Tommy's laughing. Tommy's in here. I really did. And I've told him. He is so not gay looking to me. It was the selfies on his Facebook. Someone showed me his Facebook and he did the selfies in the mirror and I was
Starting point is 00:45:53 like, oh, so gay. He was just filling himself. He was. You did them in the Planet Fitness mirror. No, he did not. You can't take selfies in Planet Fitness. 10 years ago.
Starting point is 00:46:08 That's against the rules. He's probably the reason for the rule. I might have had a problem with that too. Oh my gosh. I don't know if I would have thought he was gay. I would have just been like, okay, ease up shorty. Nobody needs to see you.
Starting point is 00:46:23 I'm working out all the time. La la la. Tommy said he can see it. been like okay ease up shorty nobody needs to see you i'm working out all the time tommy said he can see it tommy when he left for the gym yesterday i was like um you need to go back in and change you're married he wears the big baggy shirts with the short chubby shorts. Yeah, the short shorts. He's hot though. I mean, come on. He's pretty. He's very pretty. Logan's very, I mean, Logan. Logan, you are very pretty. But Chris?
Starting point is 00:46:58 Yeah. Chris is really pretty. And a hot guy sort of way. Yeah. You have to be blind. You have to be flipping blind. I think Tom, when Tom saw him, he's like, dang,
Starting point is 00:47:07 he's good looking. It's true. Dang. It's true. He's like, I'm so sorry. Chris is like, what is that?
Starting point is 00:47:17 I'm just, Sarah pointed out that I've called him a mama's boy and gay. That's true. Chris is like, I'm so sorry, I love you. Chris is like Hallmark hot.
Starting point is 00:47:28 There you go. Good point. He can start his own Hallmark movie. He literally could. Oh, my gosh, he could. I mean, he would have to change his name to Blaine or... Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Some kind of like...
Starting point is 00:47:40 Jack could be his funny best friend. Or Jagger. I love that. He'd have to change his name to something very, like, cool. Yeah, yeah. Other than Chris. It's too white bread. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:51 I like Blaine. Too whitey. Hold on. Dwayne? No, it can't be Dwayne. It has to be very, like. Shamar. Shamar.
Starting point is 00:48:03 Oh, dear Lord have mercy. I'm now down to less than 12 minutes and Shamar's not gonna work either Shamar
Starting point is 00:48:12 Shamar Shamazzle oh my god Hoss and Pepper Corporated do you know what that's from do you guys
Starting point is 00:48:18 know what that's from no Shamil Shamazzle Hoss and Pepper Corporated you guys don't
Starting point is 00:48:23 know what that's from somebody on somebody who's watching't know what that's from? Somebody who's watching, tell them where it's from. Okay, somebody tell us. Somebody has to tell them where that show's from. Or Sean. Sean, come on.
Starting point is 00:48:34 Come on, Sean. Let's go. Whoever gets it gets a free. What did you say? Shamazel? Whoever answers it and gets it right gets a free mug. Because that's the most expensive thing we got. Okay. Get a mug. Shamil.
Starting point is 00:48:50 Laverne and Shirley. Who did it? Sean. Everybody's doing it now. Unless you don't already got a cup. If you got a cup, then you win some merch. You'll get whatever you want. Yeah. There we go. Jam'll get whatever you want. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:05 There we go. Jamal. No, not Jamal. He is no Jamal. Jamal. Okay, I give up. What is he, Tommy? I give up.
Starting point is 00:49:14 What's a really great, what's a really great, cool guy's name that you would see on Hallmark? Jackson. Yeah, Jackson's a good name. With an X. That's how Jagger's brother's name is spelled. His wrestling name was The Eruption.
Starting point is 00:49:36 Oh, dear Lord. Okay, that even. I wish we could get Tommy laughing. Pull up a picture of, pull up a picture for people who don't know what her husband looks like. You got to see him now. Cause you got to like put a face with the name.
Starting point is 00:49:52 His wrestling name. We're not doing eruption. Oh my gosh. We had a tag team wrestling duo. Called the eruption. The eruptions. They were volcanoes. I don't think that's what it means, guys.
Starting point is 00:50:11 Vanessa, it's not volcanoes. No. Oh, my gosh. He was not saved, apparently, with that name. There ain't no way. This was like childhood when they were really big into wwe they built a ring in the backyard they charged admission and they they had a full-on match how old was he oh i'll have to ask him he's probably in middle school
Starting point is 00:50:39 okay he knew he knew he knew what he was doing when he knew he was doing that. Oh, yeah, he knew what he was doing. Yeah. It wasn't meant for volcanoes. I'm sticking with my answer. Yeah, I'm sure you are. Okay, are you having a hard time? I'm trying to find a picture. I've got so many good pictures of him. Oh, you should do the one with the baby shower.
Starting point is 00:50:59 Which one? This one I'm looking at. That's what I, okay. Which one? Which one? This is our pictures. Which one? Pick one. That one what I, okay. Which one? Which one? This is our pictures. Which one? Pick one.
Starting point is 00:51:06 That one. Okay, okay, okay. Don't, but you're not going to show it through the camera, correct? No, no, no. I'm getting, yeah, I got to pull it up. So it's going to take a second. I got nine minutes in half. The people are happy. They are happy people right now.
Starting point is 00:51:24 They don't want to know about a Jesus question. They just want to know about how hot Chris is. We're just the people to show you how hot he is. We are. Don't worry. And when you see him, you're going to sit there and go, you're right. He's Hallmark hot. You're 100%.
Starting point is 00:51:40 Seriously. I mean, like, what a good-looking couple. Everybody. They are. I know. They're a fantastic-looking couple. Yes, that's what I'm saying. He was like a buck 40.
Starting point is 00:51:51 Now Tommy's looking into it. Yeah. See? Thank you. I'm missing something. Okay. You got it? Almost there.
Starting point is 00:52:04 Downloading it now. Hot diggity. Good thing we got high-speed internet in this joint. It's a gray picture. It's a gray picture? Great. Great. Oh, great.
Starting point is 00:52:13 I'm like, don't do gray because he's black. It's not going to be good. You got to see the chocolate skin. Oh, man. Come on. There. Oh, yeah, baby. We're going to do some zoom. There we go. I'm going to zoom in so you can see him a little bit. Oh, man. Come on. There. Oh, yeah, baby. We're going to do some. There we go.
Starting point is 00:52:26 I'm going to zoom in so we can see him a little bit. Oh, yeah. There he is. Okay. There we go. Except for he looks like a little bit of a porn star with the mustache, but that's it right there, man. What's that pose? This was at the baby shower. He was just doing his thing. Look at his
Starting point is 00:52:41 new balance shoes on. Chris actually is a two-time champion in karate he does not talk about it he is very very humble um but he is an incredible karate doer of the things you want to talk about it karate doer the thing the doer of things that he kicks the things and he does them well that pose is a karate but it looks like karate to me is it a karate look at that it's a karate tommy doesn't look like is this karate look how karate that is that is yeah tommy said yes taekwondo potentially yeah i can't remember the style he studied, but yes. Listen, if you come to this church, you got to meet him.
Starting point is 00:53:30 He is just a great person. He is. He will make you laugh. I might have to put him at the door on Sunday. Heather has done that a few times. I like that idea. So that everyone can meet him. And he would love that.
Starting point is 00:53:43 He'll increase the number of, listen, if we take off his wedding band. Oh, my gosh. No, no, no, no, no. It would increase the level of women who attend the church. I can promise you that. It's just like Cindy's husband who plays the drums. He's a cutie. He wears no wedding band.
Starting point is 00:54:02 And I'm thinking, yeah, Tom doesn't wear one either. Neither does our pastor. No. Tommy doesn't like it either. No jewelry. Tom wore one. Tom wore. We're now down to six minutes.
Starting point is 00:54:15 Okay. I got another picture coming. You have almost 80 people tuning in right now. Oh, dear Lord's mercy. Okay. They're sticking around. Tom never, always wore a wedding band up until about eight ten years ago no no no even less than that uh because of weightlifting it like and he he's
Starting point is 00:54:36 lost one uh broke another from weightlifting and then he's like gotta take it on off on and off on and off he's like i'm not doing off on and off on and off he's like i'm not doing it and plus he hates jewelry the only piece of jewelry he loves is watches that's it that makes sense he doesn't pinky rings now you're not gonna see him he's not gonna see him with pinky rings you're not gonna see him in a necklace it's not his thing jewelry is not his thing a pinky could you picture tom with a pinky ring tap tap tap tap tap yeah can you imagine tom with a pinky ring never gonna happen my dad used to wear one that's good oh yeah my dad interesting my dad like right like he didn't like have all his fingers covered in rings but he'd
Starting point is 00:55:20 wear like he never wore a wedding band oh my dad had them but he was like tom he didn't like them but a pinky ring my earrings my my diamond earrings that i wear um my dad had um a big huge it looked like a um like he won the super bowl I think it was on his pinky. Now that you mention it. Actually, my dad had my dad was a bodybuilder, like when he was younger. So he was he was a short little Irishman, but he had huge hands. Yeah. And so he would wear it on his pinky. It was a pinky ring. And so I would my mom, what she did is she took my dad's ring and she took a diamond out of each of oh yeah yeah and she gave all the girls there's four of us no is there three no yeah there's four of us my sister-in-law my older sister my baby sister and me so we all got diamonds from
Starting point is 00:56:21 that ring so diamond earrings so yeah so that's why I wear it all the time. I wear those earrings all the time because I'm like, then my dad's with me. Wherever I go, I got my dad with me. Now we got four minutes. We are going to get to a question. Are we? Why? Yeah, I can do this one really fast. And I'm going to do an injustice to ask.
Starting point is 00:56:47 But listen, I've already answered this question before okay oh okay perfect that works yeah okay so all right three minutes and 50 seconds and then we're gonna win you to jesus okay so it's the question is what happened to joseph jesus's earthly father okay in the bible it doesn't say that he passed away. It doesn't talk about him. You only know about Jesus's earthly father, Joseph, from about when he was found in the temple, when they had to go back. They had left, I think it's Jerusalem. No, no. Is it Nazareth? Because they had to go back for the taxes, the census. Yeah, that was Jerusalem because they lived in Nazareth. I don't know. When they had to go back, I think it's Jerusalem. Joseph also went from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to the city of David called Bethlehem. No, but that was for the census.
Starting point is 00:57:46 But that's not where he went when they went and they found Jesus when he was in the temple teaching and learning. I want to say it's Jerusalem. I'm almost positive. Because they came from where they were living, which is Nazareth.
Starting point is 00:58:05 So whatever. Now we got two minutes. I have extended this question. Super sorry. But what happened was is when he was a young boy, the last we hear of Joseph is when Mary and Joseph had to go back because they thought Jesus went with them and the family and headed back home after the census, and they didn't, and he hadn't.
Starting point is 00:58:26 They had to come all the way back after days of being on the road to come back and find him where he was in the temple, where he actually was learning and teaching. So somewhere in between that and Jesus dying on the cross is where he passed away. And how do we know he passed away? It's because, and again, I answered this question before, and it was in a little bit more detail, but it doesn't need to be that long. When Jesus was dying on the cross, he was the oldest male child. And it was the responsibility of the oldest male child when they passed away,
Starting point is 00:59:04 or sometimes I ask, you wouldn't know they would be passing away. But in this case, if you were the oldest male child, it was your responsibility to make sure that your family, the mother in particular, was to be cared for. Actually, not in particular, if the dad was no longer alive, it was your job to make sure that at your passing, your mother was taken care of if she was still alive because it was your job to be responsible for her. It's like my brother is the only child that's the male child. There's four of us, so he's the only male child. So when my dad passed away, as any good son a, he's the only male child. So he, when my dad passed away,
Starting point is 00:59:46 as any good son does, he took the mantle for my dad. He took care of all the paperwork. He took care of making sure my mom was, um, all of her bank accounts were set up that, um, anything that my dad was handling, either he took it over or he taught my mom how to do it because it was a day-to-day operation, which she should be taking care of. So that's basically, and he still does to this day, to the magnitude he is capable of doing. But so that was Jesus's job. So that's why you see it at the foot of the cross when Jesus says to John the Beloved, take care of my mom. And, or take care, yeah, take care of my mom. And then John, then at the passing of Jesus, Mary lived with John for the remaining part of her life. He didn't give her to his brothers.
Starting point is 01:00:39 He gave them to his best friend who he loved more than anyone. That's why he's called John the Beloved. So Mary was taken care of by John at the passing of Jesus. If Joseph was still alive, Jesus would never have done that because Joseph would be taking care of Mary. And if I were to guess, if Joseph was still alive, he would have been at the foot of the cross with Mary, caring for his son and mourning over his son. We don't see that. So that's what they believe. Nobody really knows much about Joseph. When you do research on him,
Starting point is 01:01:19 you really don't know that much about him. The things that are the most important and the most endearing about that man was the way when the level of obedience that he walked in was amazing. Like, amazing. Because he could have divorced Mary. He did not. And the shame of him not divorcing her that he walked through along with the shame of Mary because she got pregnant before she actually had consummated her marriage.
Starting point is 01:01:55 And then on top of that, Joseph did not consummate his marriage with her until after Jesus was born. Like what a man. God was like as much as God chose Mary to be the father of Jesus, our mother of Jesus, God specifically chose Joseph. He didn't pick just anybody. He specifically chose a man of just great strength, integrity,
Starting point is 01:02:24 and character to be the father of Jesus and to raise Jesus appropriately as well, to be a great example of what a man should be. And we all should be just like him if you're a man, and we should all be like her if we're a woman, right? Not if you identify as one or the other. Yeah, exactly. You have to actually be that sex.
Starting point is 01:02:45 Whenever you were born as. Right. But we forget that Joseph was just such a high caliber of individual. Right, right. It's a hard situation to be in. Really difficult because men. Pick up leave. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:03 Well, men, women were owned property. Right. It's different. Yeah. Way different. So for him to be like that with her, like it made him look weak. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:15 And really. I agree. He knew his mission. He knew his cause and he was going to fulfill that no matter like what it looked like to people. That's where not counting the cost and doing what God's called you to do is really what matters, not what anybody says about you, not what anybody thinks about you.
Starting point is 01:03:33 He's giving you a mission. Fulfill that mission no matter who agrees with you, no matter who thinks you're crazy, no matter what people say because everybody has an opinion. Everybody, no matter what you do, no matter where you go, everybody's got an opinion. And you cannot be about that. You cannot. You've got to rise above and say, you know what?
Starting point is 01:03:59 I will fulfill that mission. I will fulfill that calling that you've put me into. And walk with your head held high. Which is pretty impressive because that's what he did. Yeah, he did. You know? You don't hear any complaining or anything. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:18 He just said, this is what the angel told me to do. This is what I'm going to do. But to not consummate that marriage. I know. That's impressive. Right. Because that would have ruined everything. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:04:28 Even he knew not to do that. And it doesn't say that the angel told him not to do that. Right. It was like. He knew. Using his head. It's amazing. It is amazing.
Starting point is 01:04:38 It's the little things. Yeah. It's the little things. Yeah. That make you who you are. Yeah. Mm-hmm. So character matters.
Starting point is 01:04:46 And how you conduct yourself in all things matters. Because it'll be where people will be, even after you go, people will be talking about you after you've gone. That's what we really want, like to have a name that people say, man, that person, when they said this, that's what they meant. Or when they did that, they did it with the utmost integrity and character. Like that's these these characters in the Bible aren't like the only ones that can can accomplish all that God's called them to do. Amen.
Starting point is 01:05:19 Especially in the times we live in today. And listen, I'm just telling you, like, the stuff that, like, Pastor Rodney and Jonathan and Tom and there's Greg Locke. And there's other people in that river realm of pastors that, like, the one that I think of in Norway. Like, everybody closed down. He stayed open. And it was Finland. That was tough. These guys, these pastors did not close down. He stayed open. And it was Finland. That was tough. These guys, these pastors did not close down. And then that river hemisphere and stuff like that,
Starting point is 01:05:49 they could not care what people were saying about them at all. And right now, in this moment, we're all making names for ourselves that will live forever by how we either support the ministries that are making the stands. Because the thing is, is if you don't support the ministries that are making the stands. Because the thing is, is if you don't support the ministries that are making the stands, then not that God won't keep them open, but it speaks volumes about yourself.
Starting point is 01:06:12 You want everybody to do these things, but you yourself don't want to support it. It's crazy to me. Let's make sure it all stays around as long as I don't have to do anything to make sure it all stays around. Right. It's crazy. Yeah. So support these ministries. And listen, and it's another thing,
Starting point is 01:06:29 like where you support will also determine the return that you get. Yep. It does. It really does. You think that it doesn't support a place that should be closed. It's not good, but support the ones that are doing something for the body, doing something to be the restraining, and that actually are out there trying to wake up the Christian and win the lost so that they also can be restraining as well. How profound would it be if you can win Fauci, Pelosi? Disney World. Can you imagine if we just shake Disney World? The power behind that. if you can win Fauci, a Pelosi, you know.
Starting point is 01:07:05 Disney World. Can you imagine if we just shake Disney World? The power behind that is unreal. I know. But that's really what we should all want. Instead of trying to beat them down, can't wait for them to go to hell, can't wait for them to get what they deserve.
Starting point is 01:07:21 Really, nobody should want what we deserve. We should all want to save. Even your worst enemy, you should want to save. If you know anything about hell, you don't want your worst enemy to go there. Because I would, personally, every time I hear one of these liberal political people, whether it's either, you know, you got CNN, newscasters, things like that. When you hear one of them have passed away or you hear one of these politicians, like for me when Dianne Feinstein died, my heart broke. It really did.
Starting point is 01:07:57 Because I know unless she got saved. Yeah, that's it. That's it. And that breaks my heart. I know. It really does. So hopefully, hopefully nobody knows. Right. Yeah, that's it. That's it. And that breaks my heart there by the grace of God go I. And we have no right to not want people to be one to the Lord, no matter how or what they've done on this earth. How bad you think it is, you should still want them saved.
Starting point is 01:08:40 Because it could be you. Exactly. Absolutely. And my heart would be to say, if that's your heart, how clean and how pure is your heart? How much of offense or bitterness and anger do you walk in? Is that, are you really saved? Right.
Starting point is 01:08:55 Because you can't walk like that. Unforgiveness or bitterness and anger is a true, it's a true path to compromise and sin so yep okay we are eight minutes over only one question do you guys have anything you want to add that was good that was really good that you're so full of crap no there's nothing good we did nothing today that was the best podcast i've ever been involved with ever so professional i learned so much now you know why i keep them around they're blowhards they're full of crap no way listen thank you seriously thank you if you watch this podcast
Starting point is 01:09:39 and you learned absolutely nothing which i'm pretty sure is the case today. Outside of the fact that Chris is hot. Yeah. Okay. Logan's husband. Thank you for tuning in. Thank you for joining us. Let's win you to the Lord. If you don't know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, if you too want to be as hot as Chris, get saved. God will do something to you. He'll take ugly and make it beautiful. He takes beauty, he makes ashes into beauty from ashes. But he takes ashes and makes them beautiful. That's what the Word of God says. Because if I say it the right, the phrase in the Bible, people are like, what does that mean? Beauty from ashes?
Starting point is 01:10:20 People are like, what? What does that mean? He'll take ashes and make it beautiful. So if you don't know Jesus today as your Lord and Savior, or you want to get your life right, say this prayer with me really quickly, and it will begin a new thing for you. Amen?
Starting point is 01:10:34 Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you right now. I thank you for dying on the cross. I thank you for being my Lord and Savior. I thank you for forgiving me of my sin. I turn from my sin the opposite direction and I will live completely the opposite of the way that I have been. So whatever was my path before, I am headed in the new direction, the opposite of it. new decisions, new way of life, new way of thinking, a renewed mind. I will do what you say to do. I will go where you say to go. And whatever you tell me not to do, I absolutely will not do from this moment on. In Jesus' mighty name we pray. Amen.
Starting point is 01:11:21 You said that prayer, eternity in heaven is yours. Stick with it. Stay on that path because the parable of the sower, which we see in Matthew, talks about most people who say that prayer do not stick with it. It's a fact. So don't let that be you. Get involved in a great church. If you live in the area, come to ours. If you need a Bible, let us know. We have some great discipleship classes that you will learn so much. You'll plug in, make great friends, iron sharpening iron. Fellowship, huge if you want to stay saved. It's huge. And that's the reason why it says in the Bible to not forsake the assembly of yourself.
Starting point is 01:12:00 Because God knows you have to be around like-minded believers to not only grow stronger, but to stay the course. So we will see you on Friday. It should be interesting. I am sure we'll get to way more questions than we did today. Maybe. Yes, we will. Hopefully. See you Friday. Bye. you
