Starting point is 00:00:00 Real Talk. Real Talk. Real Talk. Real Talk. Hello and welcome to the Hope Hotline. It is wonderful to see all of your smiling faces. Yes, I am Mr. Rogers right at this very moment. I felt, I was like, I literally was thinking,
Starting point is 00:00:40 that sounds like Mr. Rogers. It does sound like Mr. Rogers. I miss him. I do too. Because he told boys that you can't be little girls that's true can't be little boys facts and boys have peepees and girls don't well Heather says he was a sniper in the Marine Corps yeah I can not picture that me either yes yeah he was something wild I cannot picture that soft-spoken man you know like those
Starting point is 00:01:10 are those are the ones you gotta watch exactly like a Sean yeah like a Sean yeah yeah yeah he'd kill you just as soon as look at you I I can see that Sean I can see that silent but deadly keep them on your good side what are you laughing at Heather and Vanessa I just made Heather giggle why is that which is like my favorite thing to do because I said mr. Rogers from the neighborhood the house is full today people we got a full we got the peanut gallery plus one so it's heather's here heather's in the house heather's in the house and then we got trish who isn't an official peanut gallery person yeah but yeah might as well be to a certain extent whatever um i missed everybody from not doing friday but i'll i'll be telling I'm just telling you, you'll be glad we didn't do Friday. True.
Starting point is 00:02:09 I was not I was not in shape for that. That's tired. Yeah. I didn't take a nap, but I would never have been able to function. I didn't leave this place. Oh, no. On Friday. But I would never have been able to function and do the podcast.
Starting point is 00:02:25 Yeah. It would have been bad. It was resting time. It was. Listen, that conference was so... I know. Next level. It is.
Starting point is 00:02:40 It really was. I loved the past two. The last two were really really good um but even magalas was like that um she was uh texting with me and she was like some things there's a shift yeah i agree there's a shift i said i told her i was like i agree with you 100 percent um so that was so awesome so are you um first of all before i i am gonna for the people that haven't seen it because they're either um not on social media like facebook or whatever we're going to show you like each session um what it was like very short and briefly briefly but let me just say this like um things always leading up to when you do
Starting point is 00:03:28 something like that like between Christmas when we you know it just is such a monumental effort to put something like that together and what I love about our church and the people that, like almost everybody was so grateful to walk into a place that had been. You can have a conference, but the atmosphere is what kind of like. You can turn you guys off so people can see you. But it's the atmosphere. It's the, this word you're going to think is gay, but it's the ambiance of the whole thing. It's true. Yeah, absolutely. That is gay.
Starting point is 00:04:16 And I meant that homosexually. Very ambiance. Because I'm telling you, a homosexual wouldn't be able to snap that thing. But we're girls and we did it. Yeah. I'm just saying it's the ambiance. It's the it's the mood it's the whole thing and i'm just like uh vanessa over there vanessa that vanessa and then deb abbott and then katie croyle and then heather um because heather actually they if they had questions, and Heather has great ideas.
Starting point is 00:04:45 So Heather is always, like, feeding the decor herself. But you three, Vanessa, Deb, and Katie, like, you guys literally killed it on just, like, putting into. I said I wanted what the tables look like and I said I wanted what the the um the stage looked like but the whole entryway that was not me yeah that was those three and then Heather I think chimed in and gave her two cents um on that as well so um like so when you walked in you walked in and thought you're like, yeah, you said, wow, wow, exactly. So props to them on creating a great, like
Starting point is 00:05:33 wowser moment when you walk in. And I will add, like, I speak for Deb and Katie, like every single day we reminded ourselves, like everything everything we do everything we touch is unto the lord so we made sure that everything was done in excellence because ultimately we were doing it for him absolutely yep yeah absolutely and so you then you have you have all of your team your decorating team like they killed it that decorating team did a great job. And then you have the, people don't understand, like, the levels of effort and the group of individuals that you have to make that thing pop. But then you have Heather's team, which did all of the food, which the food was fantastic. So good. And then she.
Starting point is 00:06:19 Those pretzels. Amazing. Auntie Anne's has nothing. Nothing. Nothing. No. Didn't even touch it. Nothing on that lady who is that lady again Destin Destin pretzels and it's a food truck right find that food truck people yeah I'm just telling you dad gum it they like those were like, Ooh, something else. Yes. The food was always good. And then her team having that table decorated and like, like it's all.
Starting point is 00:06:49 Yep. Yeah. It's all got to go and all flow. Like it really did great. And then the, you know, you have the great people that would greet people and make them feel welcome to the people helping people get to seats and everybody.
Starting point is 00:07:03 It was just such a great atmosphere. And I think that's, everybody was really excited about it, but everybody's hearts were all in the right place. And if you didn't make it this year, I can promise you, you don't want to miss next year. It's going to be off the chain. It's going to be so good. So thank you to everybody who helped out,
Starting point is 00:07:24 even if it's small. We had girls back there working and helping out all the volunteers because volunteers had to have help with their kids because I wouldn't have had catchers. Just the whole thing. So from people who are willing to do things that nobody wants to do to the things that everybody wants to do. Right things that people, everybody wants to do. Right.
Starting point is 00:07:46 I appreciate that very, very much because you made the whole conference look like this. This. How many times can I stop it and say how much I loved everything? As many times as you want, girl. Okay, perfect.
Starting point is 00:08:07 Such pretty girls. The gifts, okay. You guys killed it this year. I love that we had the Bibles and the gift things. Everybody was so excited, especially this lady. She was so happy. What did you win, Vanessa? The hair basket.
Starting point is 00:08:25 That's my girl right there. And Pastor Clover, I love The hair basket. That's my girl right there. And then Pastor Clover. I love her so much. She's such a great person. Chris won the Perry Stone Bible? She loves Perry Stone. And then Hope did amazing. Like every year, you were just going up and up. And look at that. Look at those two.
Starting point is 00:08:43 And this thing was insanely beautiful. That is Heather's complete idea to have a heart genius super smart yeah that heart was beautiful yeah food was insanely delicious i went at the end so i got extra of everything oh so good there's nat nat she wanted that bag or Natalie. There's Nat Nat. And so is Magalas, as always. She wanted that bag. I appreciate when somebody wins something and they're super
Starting point is 00:09:12 excited about it. Oh, I know. There is nothing that makes me more happy. And the worship team, oh my gosh, that was another level this year. Oh my gosh, they did so good. Magalas was amazing. Like her message.
Starting point is 00:09:26 Beast woman. There she is dancing. I'm so glad I got that on video. I'm so glad you got that. Talia, you did a great job on capturing. Thank you. That's what I was going to finish with. Okay, you can say it because she's on your team.
Starting point is 00:09:39 Go ahead. Yeah, no, literally every single video you're watching right now, Talia put all these together same day, turned them over so quickly to me. And so we were able to get them posted and, you know, just show what was going on this week. And there's something about being very timely right now. Everybody's expecting quick turnover. So the fact that Talia did it and like just the stuff like you have to be anointed to get certain things like Magalas dancing like that. You'll see the last part of this video, like the storytelling.
Starting point is 00:10:06 You can't appreciate it until you try to put your own video together. And then you're like, wait, this doesn't make sense. But Talia did such an incredible job. So thankful for her. And when you're referring to quick turnover, you're referring to that I require quick turnover. You're right. Yeah, but really, like even like if you pay attention to like what people are doing in the
Starting point is 00:10:28 world, like if they have something going on that day, you're going to see it that night. You're going to see that quick turnaround and people like, that's kind of an expectation. And then of course we have no, we have no volume. Where did it go?
Starting point is 00:10:41 No, stop it. Stop that right now. Pause, pause. Stop it. Stop that. Right now. Pause. Pause. Pause. Pause. Not happening. That's so sad. Oh my gosh. So next year? Okay. Wait. Hold on. Let me see
Starting point is 00:10:54 on my Dropbox. Can we see it? No. You don't do that, girl. Let me see. I don't even know if I can. Yeah. I can't check on my thing. Okay. Well, we did. It might be this one, but I don't want to if I can. Yeah, I can't check on my thing. Okay, well, we did. It might be this one, but I don't want to mess it up. Okay, just try it.
Starting point is 00:11:09 Okay, let me try it. Yeah, just try it. This says full recap. I think it's this one. Yeah, let's try it. Okay, okay, okay. Hold on. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Starting point is 00:11:15 Let's see. In Jesus' name. Let's see if it's this one. You got it, girl. All right, ready? Yep. Yes. You did it.
Starting point is 00:11:21 Woo-hoo. My God, this is great. Yeah. I love them coming out. What is that? But like the storytelling of it. It's like, oh yeah, they nailed it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:42 Then I'll pass focused on myself when I saw this so hard oh my gosh it helped me get the number one answer it really did thank you guys thank you I was very impressed with you. I appreciate that. I didn't know you had it in you. I literally did not know you had it in you. Listen, I told you. This is funny.
Starting point is 00:12:12 Somebody told me. Oh, is it in Dallas? I think it's not Dallas. Heather is so freaking funny. When you kiss her hand. When you kiss her hand. When you kiss her hand. So stay tuned.
Starting point is 00:12:28 You never know what's going to be next. But something else is coming. So incredible, incredible few days. Sad it was over. I know. I know. It was a really good time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:42 If we do a cruise, I was thinking if we do a cruise, we'll have to get Revival Today and Foundation Church to do a cruise together. Oh my gosh, can you imagine? I'm going to tell you right now, what's going to happen is the captain and everyone else will throw themselves overboard because they will not. We will drive them all night. But we probably will.
Starting point is 00:12:59 Norma, I mean, Norma. Heather, we can take Rodney's yacht. Yeah, exactly. Not a bad idea. I mean, Norma. Heather, we can take Rodney's yacht. Yeah, exactly. Yes. That's a good idea. I'm just telling you. I'm just telling you. It's nice. Best sleep I've ever had.
Starting point is 00:13:13 Tom. Tom said that's the best sleep he's ever had is on that yacht. Really? Oh, yeah. He said I've never slept that good. What in the world? I know. It was so good.
Starting point is 00:13:20 Well, the thing is, you're not moving. We didn't move. Oh. You're not like we could never feel. It's so big. You can't feel anything. we didn't move. Oh. You're not like, we could never feel. It's so big, you can't feel anything. Oh, my gosh. Okay. Maybe not.
Starting point is 00:13:29 You don't move at all. But that bed on that thing. Oh, I bet. It's nice. It's nice, Clark. Do you have a link? Do you have a link? Can we get a dupe?
Starting point is 00:13:40 What do you mean, can you get a dupe? Of the bed. Of the mattress. Yeah, we want a bed. We want the a mattress we want the link amazon you know what i mean it is on a yacht so they probably put the best of the best on that sucker i know i don't know it is there's no there's no way it was it came with the yacht when he bought it yeah there's no way anything that he bought bought special i'm telling you that master cabin or should i say you can't say master anymore oh it's the primary primary it's the primary i say master that master cabin i didn't know about that you're not allowed to say master
Starting point is 00:14:11 suite no master bedroom it's slavery people yeah of course what were you thinking how could you how could you say master it has to be primary now primary that's ridiculous absolutely not now i will now you're gonna say it i'm gonna say it all the time we're gonna get banned on facebook again my new favorite word will be master if you put if you put if you put big mike and master together we're off youtube again i'm done red flag done just when we got back on no okay so listen before the podcast um like heather's laughing so before the podcast happened as a hot sweaty mess right true from top to bottom i'm gonna give a shout out because i think my friend which is my only friend now at the gym,
Starting point is 00:15:06 because everybody, I only have one friend at the gym, and I think she might be watching today. Oh, my gosh. My friend Natalia. Natalia. Is the only one that was willing to come out when I was outside changing out the sign. I never change out the sign.
Starting point is 00:15:22 I've never changed out that sign, and I will never change it out again. Ever. I don't blame you. Yeah. You were sweaty. But Tom wasn't like a freak about making, he, I told him, I was like,
Starting point is 00:15:36 I got to get that sign changed out because it's been, from the Victorious Conference, he wants it out the next day. It'd been two days and on the way home from the podcast, Heather and I are in the car with him, and he's like, oh, Victorious Conference is coming up, or passed or something. And I was like, did I not tell you guys? So I was hoping I could get Travis to do it,
Starting point is 00:15:56 but Travis had to leave for the men's conference. And then I was trying to recruit Heather, but Heather was not having it. She's like, she, huh? She had a reason. I mean, I was okay with if her reason, if whatever happened out there happened, I was okay with it. We got a washer and a dryer, Heather, which is what I ended up having to do. All of my clothing.
Starting point is 00:16:20 Yeah, all of it. Washed it and dried it before the podcast because my and my face was so red norman's like why is your face so red don't even ask but my friend came to help me my only friend left in the gym so natalia god bless you yeah for stopping you hot little thing she's i get my last letter down i can't barely reach anything if anybody knows because that sign is so daggum high. And I'm 5'2". It's true. And I got a long stick, but it's not long enough. And Natalia is a hot, like she's hot. Like she is not hot as in like it's hot outside. No, I mean hot as in smoking freaking hot.
Starting point is 00:16:59 Like she is like beautiful. But her beauty does not, like her height is really what i needed i didn't need the hotness she's like five seven oh i needed the inches yeah and she comes pulling up she sees me struggling she misses her turn so she has to come all the way back by then i'm done with my last letter but it's the thought that counts it is that counts what a sweet girl well in this case it was the thought that counts it's a very fair moment Sarah right it's the thought that counts yes cuz it's your only friend but she had to turn around twice my only friend that I have a gym anymore but you have and she's not only friend
Starting point is 00:17:44 that I have at the gym oh sorry sorry yeah i know that's true that's true because heather said she was your friend today heather's not my friend she said no she said she was your friend no she did not oh she's not i said all my friends she's my only friend that i have at the gym and you both were like like ouch and she goes well i'm not really friends i'm family to eliminate herself from the equation of dumping me i'm like touche that's true that is true but thank you natalia god bless you woman amen all right okay you got you want to do your thing yeah i do let's do your thing really yeah okay all right so we've got youtube up and going today um so welcome back to our youtube channel um But if you are there,
Starting point is 00:18:26 if you want to head over to our Rumble, I'll drop the link in real quick for you. Well, they have us. They have us so shadow banned. I don't even think anybody's on there. We've got a few. We got a few people watching. So if you're over there and you want to hop over to Rumble, I know it is literal miracle, but they're there. So if you want to hop over, if you want to join the live chat, I know if you're probably just listening on YouTube, sometimes you're working and doing that. But if you head over to Rumble, we to join the live chat i know if you're probably just listening on youtube sometimes you're working and doing that but if you head over to rumble we've got the live chat is bumping today we got all of our people on there sean wants to know what he did wrong what did i ever do silent but deadly exactly um and then we got some people on facebook
Starting point is 00:18:59 if you want to hop over on to rumble as, you can click on that link. And then Black Robe is always there and available, of course. But if you click on the link that Talia just dropped for me, you can come over and join the live chat. We've got the podcast, obviously, on the audio podcast. So anywhere you listen to your audio podcast, it is live. I mean, it will go up after the live. It is not played live. It's a replay. And then i think
Starting point is 00:19:25 that's it for there you can always if you leave anything in the live chat on rumble just understand that's going to disappear at the end so if you have a question the best place to send them is to ask hope at hope hotline.com you can send in any question you want she's answered all of them so send them in and if it's already if you're like well maybe she's already answered this that's fine we'll find it for you we'll let you know if it's already in. And if it's already, if you're like, well, maybe she's already answered this, that's fine. We'll find it for you. We'll let you know if it's already been answered or if it's a little bit different, that's great. But don't worry about that. Just send the question in and we will go from there. We've got our merch. It's available at foundationchurchfl.com. You just click on the shop and it will lead you right to our shop.
Starting point is 00:19:59 And we have our UBU t-shirt, which I just got my first one. I've never had one. Are you kidding me? It's your shirt. I know got my first one I've never had one are you kidding me it's your shirt I know how is that you don't have one listen so I had the Canva one that I made when you were like just make a shirt I was like okay I'll make one in Canva so I had that one but the little logo was like crooked on it because it was Canva and I didn't know so that's the one I've had but I've never had like an official official official shirt until today. I have one now. You be you. You be you guys.
Starting point is 00:20:27 Thank you. Thank you. I feel official now. You are official. Now I feel official. Next is the hat. So we'll have to pick up that. I don't have that one either.
Starting point is 00:20:35 I do have the mug. No, I don't have a mug. I do have the spoon and I've used that. No, I haven't. I leave it out because it's too pretty to use. And then Allison's 10 now. So she doesn't really need it in that way either. Yeah, that does change things. Yeah, we're good both ways.
Starting point is 00:20:52 And then we have Miss Natalie is ready to come back on and share her wealth of knowledge. And so what we need you guys to do is send in your questions. Anything that you have that's health related. Like literally anything. Anything that you've wanted to ask. Supplements. Supplements. I mean, she has like a farm life.
Starting point is 00:21:14 Like essential oils. Essential oils. To like pharma. Yeah. Everything. She can answer everything. I mean, we might not stay on YouTube that day, but. We got kicked off again for her last time.
Starting point is 00:21:26 We did. That was our other hit. On many platforms. Yeah. I don't care. I know. What are we going to do? I just don't care.
Starting point is 00:21:33 Right. Exactly. Because people will find us where they're going to find us. Again, our largest audience is not live. Right. Exactly. By not even a long shot. It's actually not even on Rumble.
Starting point is 00:21:45 Yeah, exactly. It's like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and what's the other ones? Like they're not even like, it's the ones, it's the audios. Those are our largest audience. I know, I know. No, it is.
Starting point is 00:21:57 And there are like tons of downloads and everything. But Spotify will kick us off because they've kicked Tom off. Right. But we'll still say it. Who cares? Exactly. I don't care.
Starting point is 00:22:07 I don't care how big or small the audience is. You got to do it. You got to do it. You know, sell yourself out. Exactly. Exactly. Oh, my gosh. What are you guys laughing at?
Starting point is 00:22:18 I'm working on some comments over here. Spicy. We have a little spammer. We have a little spammer. We have a little spammer. Well, we got a spammer. We got a spammer, but a mute user. There we go.
Starting point is 00:22:30 I found it. I love his username. Yeah. Okay. He's going fast. He's still going. Okay, I got it. I got it.
Starting point is 00:22:36 I got it. I got it. I'm trying. Bye-bye. Bye. See you later. Yeah, so anyway, so send in your questions to Natalie.
Starting point is 00:22:44 She is a wealth of knowledge and she loves the Lord. So she is definitely going to be able to answer your questions biblically. Kind of like how we trust pastor Tom for all these political things going on right now. We can trust Natalie for her, her medical information and what she has and, and she'll be honest. And I always appreciate that about people like a mechanic, Hanson's mechanic, like just be honest. Like if it's
Starting point is 00:23:09 a big deal, if it's something big, yeah, that's fine. Just like be honest about it. Yeah. And then you've won my, my business forever. Big time. You know, you spend more money with people that you trust. So 100% about that. Yeah. So Natalie will be on in September. I'll let you know, Natalie, what dates we have available for you. So, but yeah, send those questions in so we can get them, we can get them going. And that's it for today. Coming back to you. Well, our, our questions are very interesting today.
Starting point is 00:23:39 They're very easy. I love that. They're very easy and very interesting. I love the first one um yeah okay do you think we should bring back corporal punishment in k through 12 12th grades i would love to say what the shirt said on mcgallis and adalas family fluid shirts go ahead i can't don't say it i'm not don't do it i'm not doing that well like they would not tell me what their shirt said of course they didn't i'm like what are you wearing they're we're not telling you no they're like yeah so i can't ask them again like the next day you
Starting point is 00:24:20 guys are going to tell me like what you're wearing they're like nope you're going to see i'm like that's why they didn't tell me because they know right they know stinkers yep stink butts that's why we won though that is why we won awesome so my thing is a yeah i think they should bring back corporal punishment because they ain't getting it in the home so you might as well bring it into the school at least there there'll be some boundaries. Who's that video that I found? I just found this last night. I'm sorry. You sending your kids off for these teachers to watch your kid, your terrible kids for eight hours a day.
Starting point is 00:24:53 The least you could do is defend the teachers when they say your kid is terrible. No, dude. Skyler would never. Skyler would never. Skyler would never. He would. He's terrible. If my dad ever found out about me disrupting,
Starting point is 00:25:14 he would come up to the school, beat me in front of the class, say I'm going to lunch. If he does it again, y'all hit him. Bro, we got spanked in groups growing up, dude. Remember that? I was asleep one night. Asleep, dude. I got woken up to be spanked in groups growing up, dude. Remember that? Remember, girl, I was asleep one night. Asleep, dude. I got woken up to be spanked.
Starting point is 00:25:32 Wake up, we're being spanked, all of us, oldest to youngest. No explanation. Tell us your truth. Tell us. My brother farted in church. I laughed. I got spanked. That is so funny.
Starting point is 00:25:52 That's what we need. Yeah. We need spankings. I mean, the Bible is true. Spare the rod and spoil the child, right? And it says clearly that if you hate your child, you will not discipline your child so for me yeah i think corporal punishment like when i went to school i i went to school here in
Starting point is 00:26:12 florida i was born in florida i was born actually in sarasota memorial then we moved to fort myers and then my parents moved us to lakeland um polk county don't play for real so that's some country and so i when i went to school i went to school all the way to first grade and it and if you talked you got your butt whooped they brought out the paddle they took you into another room and you got a you got a weapon and it had the paddle had holes in it like they didn't play. Tom, all the way up to high school, because his parents were Lemon Bay teachers, and so he would have the choice of getting wax, or his parents told.
Starting point is 00:26:57 He's like, I'll take the wax, and it hurt like crap. He's like, I'll take the wax, because it's far better than having to go to his parents, who back then disciplined. People don't discipline their kids anymore. they laugh and they think things are funny that are not funny so we don't have good training for our kids there's no consequences whatsoever anymore in the home so if we brought back corporal punishment into the school system which you know back in the day you got your wax and it hurt, but a spanking should hurt.
Starting point is 00:27:26 But it actually made people think about what they did before they did it. Yeah. What a concept. What a concept. And it's just like people don't come to Florida and do certain crimes because they know they ain't seeing the light of day. Right. Like you go in and you do an armed robbery with a gun you ain't coming out
Starting point is 00:27:46 like you're there's certain states in the united states that have stricter uh stricter laws on crime and people don't live in the criminals don't live in those states a lot of times because they know the ones they can get away with getting away with way more than others. Like California, come on. You can do anything in California and not be charged with any crime, any punishment. So for me, bring it back, baby. Bring it back. And we'll see a whole different world.
Starting point is 00:28:22 And that's the scripture that I was giving you proverbs 13 24 is he who spares his rod hates his son but he who loves him disciplines him promptly so when we don't discipline our kids it basically saying we hate them and kids just like adults like the bible is full of boundaries and guidelines and it's not so that god keeps us from having fun. It's to keep us safe. And so the same thing goes with a good parent. Just like God is a good dad, if you're a good parent, then you have boundaries for your kids because that makes them feel safe. And boundaries make us feel as though we are cared about and loved. And that's just the facts.
Starting point is 00:29:01 So let your kids do whatever the heck they want and make their own decisions and see how well that goes for you. They will, when they grow up, they'll have no respect for you. They will not honor you most of the time. And they will feel like they're kind of not that important to you
Starting point is 00:29:17 and they'll treat you the same way because the Bible is the Bible and it holds true every single time. And you let your kid do whatever it wants, it will hate you for that. You don't think so? Do things your way and see how it works out for you. I mean, if people would just follow the Bible, their lives would be so successful. Ladies, what do you think about that question, my little peanut gallery?
Starting point is 00:29:46 Well, my opinion is that everybody gets one of these bad boys. Amen. Brings it in. And then just have it on the table. Just a little like tap, tap, tappity tap. So when Pastor Tom, when they said that Pastor Tom, did you say wax?
Starting point is 00:30:02 Like W-A-C-K? Like a pow pow? A pow pow is a whack. Okay. And so what did you say wax like w-a-c-k like like a pow pow a pow is a whack okay and so how what did that look like for back in our day yeah yeah when i went to school right they took you into another room the paddle was about this big yeah it was about that thick yeah obviously the older you get the harder they were. But like you heard it. Yeah. And it stung. And you usually cried.
Starting point is 00:30:30 Like on the butt? Oh, yeah. They spanked you only on the butt, not on the legs or anything like that. It was on the fat. Okay. I mean, and it was always in the presence of another teacher or the principal, depending on what the situation, right? Interesting. But like back in my day when I was in school, like if a kid was going to get spanked we had a pod and there
Starting point is 00:30:50 were like four teachers in this big pod so four classes and so what would happen is the teachers in the pod would come together i think it was like three of them the teacher spanking in the two so that was always watched and it was always like people are accountable for their actions. Right. Yeah. Yeah. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:13 The problem, people have a problem with it is because they don't discipline their kid. Right. Right. So it's always the bad parents that don't want, like, I know we have some cray-crays out there in the school system, but on the whole, teachers are, for the most part, like, I know we have some cray-crays out there in the school system, but on the whole, teachers are, for the most part, very, very good. They go into it. They go into it for multiple reasons.
Starting point is 00:31:33 A lot of teachers go into it because they want to teach. That's their passion. That's a gift and a talent that they have. And so, or they love kids. Right. Right. And they want to be around kids and then there's some that those two things apply and then they love the schedule that it provides because they want to be moms to their kids in the summertime and stay home with them I mean teaching is is a great profession
Starting point is 00:32:01 and it has some great benefits to it yeah um so um for the most part teachers are not in there like people think that a teacher is picking specifically on your kid are you kidding me are you like out of everything in the world that the teacher could do they're gonna pick your kid out and they're gonna like your kid's the one that they're going to, like, pick on. Come on. Does it happen? Yes, it does. But on the whole, no, it doesn't. Because most teachers are very good people. They really are.
Starting point is 00:32:33 They're flawed people, but they're still good people, and they went into the profession because they feel like they can bring something to the education system, Even if they're liberal. They still, a lot of liberal people, I think, even in the midst of all of their liberal mindset, I still think that they think that they're doing a good. I really do. I do too. And so, and they love kids, generally.
Starting point is 00:32:58 And the younger, like elementary, I'm more specifically talking about that. Because I think the older kids get there's more of an agenda driven behind teaching but even still with that i still think that they're good and they're not out to get kids they're just not right but there should be consequences how these most of these teachers are so flippant frustrated because they spend more times having kids go down to the the nurse's station to get their meds or to the principal's office because they're not controllable I mean teachers deal with so many disciplinary issues that our kids are not being taught because they're disciplined
Starting point is 00:33:33 they're the kids aren't disciplined right so they're dealing with problems in the classroom more than anything and probably Sarah if anybody knows it because she's been in the public school system and she's been a teacher so am I saying things that are wrong no you're saying everything right um i would also add that teachers definitely aren't in it for the money right so they have to have other motives for doing it very true pay is really bad um and people say oh you get the summers off oh you get this off you get spring break and you get that yeah But they take the money that we make through the whole year and they split it up. So it's not like we're getting paid for our time and it's just not enough money in terms of disciplining. still have is that there's no support from the administration so you can send a kid out for I mean I had kids like straight up cuss me out to my face write him a referral one of them was my
Starting point is 00:34:31 own son one time wrote him a referral oh yeah that's a story for another day wrote him a referral um you're gonna send him back into my classroom during the same class period so that all those kids now go there's no consequence then i had a parent teacher conference and it went a little bit like this so your son cussed you out today yeah what do you think about that somebody literally asked me did you talk did you call the parent i said i am the parent it was to Toby. And he, anyways, long story. But there's no support for the teachers. So if they want to discipline, if they want there to be consequences for these kids' actions, they don't get backed up. Right. why I resigned because the parents have way too much control over what is
Starting point is 00:35:29 happening in terms of like how their kid is disciplined. The kid is not behaving. They need a consequence. Well, the parents can come in and upturn all of that. Like this is crazy. And what she's saying is true. Could you not,
Starting point is 00:35:44 we had a Tom when he was in the school system because he was a school resource officer this was in junior high which she is saying absolutely and then we'll let you finish that thought but i'm just saying i want to before you move on because this will solidify a kid came in cussed out the teacher cussed out the teacher f the teacher off like like, up and down. Parents are called in. And the parents goes, little Johnny would never do that.
Starting point is 00:36:10 Never. He doesn't use that language. Little Johnny not only used that language in that meeting, but effed his own parents off in the same meeting. And the parents then said, Johnny still doesn't behave like that. Oh, my God. After he effs them off and right teacher yeah in front of everybody the parents are still going not my Johnny no he doesn't talk like that and
Starting point is 00:36:33 Tom's like he just did and to you right this second no so blue you know the sky is blue it's actually red and they're gonna try and convince you of it yeah it's like yeah it's very frustrating it's like yeah like who's on first who's on second it's like a constant like Abbott and Costello kind of thing like there's no winning so when I first started teaching and my degrees in special education so I was you know with kids that had special needs and learning disabilities and there was oh, oh, and emotional. Back then they called them emotional handicaps. I don't know what they call it now because the names continue to change because they will get a negative connotation.
Starting point is 00:37:18 So like, you know, back in the early 2000s, you went to get a certification in special ed. It was for mental retardation. Right. Well, you don't say that now. Now it's intellectually disabled. Right. So they keep changing all of the terms. And it's, you know, dumb because these kids get labels put on them. But I digress. I taught special ed and I had one girl that I like built this relationship with. And it was like if I was there, she wasn't going to melt down. Like she knew she had that relationship with me. So I was out one day, she went to another adult and tried to get help. Like, I need this help. I'm starting to feel like I'm going to punch someone. Nobody helped her. She ended up getting in a fight and they were going to expel her as well. They should write regardless of what disability she has what emotional handicap or
Starting point is 00:38:07 any of those things um but then you can only you can only suspend students that have an IEP for a certain amount of days oh interesting I did not oh yeah they're only allowed to do 10 days a year because they're then they miss too much school and then, okay, well, that's dumb. So this whole time, the parents are saying she doesn't have a disability and the school is saying she does have a disability. Well, now that she's getting suspended, we have what's called a manifestation meeting to determine if her behavior was a manifestation of her disability. Oh, my gosh. Hold in from the hallway to this meeting. I have no setup to it whatsoever. I'm literally a brand new teacher.
Starting point is 00:38:51 I'm 23 years old. Oh, my gosh. And they were like, what is your professional opinion as her teacher? And I told them everything that I thought about this girl. And I'm like, yeah, you guys dropped the ball. If somebody, if she had a support system, if I was not absent that day, this would have never happened.
Starting point is 00:39:08 And I got reprimanded. I got disciplined because then at this manifestation meeting, everything flips. Now the parents are saying, yes, my child has a disability and the school is saying, oh no, but that's not the reason why they did this. And it was just the beginning of all of these,
Starting point is 00:39:24 like what is actually happening? In my opinion, we don't need to bring corporal punishment back we need to ruin the entire establishment and get rid of public schools altogether you need to teach your own kids you need to figure out your life like i'm just saying there's no point in send farming them all off now because there's no fathers anymore that's another big deal like no no it's not there was a study that was done with elephants where they took these elephants and they brought them to a different place but they left the bull like the father figure elephant and those like um mainly the male like what do you do you call them? Like the teenager, right? The teenager elephants, boys, were killing rhinoceroses like crazy,
Starting point is 00:40:10 just like all this aggression. And they brought, they were like, what's going on? We don't understand what's happening. They put the bull elephant back in there. And all of a sudden, the juvenile elephant stopped acting that way. And then we think we can dismember the family unit and not have these issues that we're having so it's not just that parents aren't disciplining at home it's there's
Starting point is 00:40:31 no more family unit with a mother and a father now you have a mother and a mother or you have a father and a father or you have a whatever there's three parents and they're all in a what do you call that when there's triple a triple they're all in a what do you call that when there's a thriple. They're all in a thriple or whatever. Or the kids don't have mommy or daddy and they don't even have they have grandparents but sometimes they don't even have the grandparents. An aunt or
Starting point is 00:40:56 an uncle is raising them. I mean it's a hot mess. So the schools aren't going to fix it. In fact anything that happens in the education system takes way too long to change it anyway. It's like ridiculous. So, yeah, teach your own kids. And people say, well, I can't because I have to go to work and I need to.
Starting point is 00:41:13 So you're going to go to work to pay to live, but you're going to send somebody else, send your kid to. I don't understand the whole thing. Like when you've been broken of that paradigm it's like you go what are we doing right we're gonna go to work so that we can send our kids to daycare for someone else to raise our kids oh yeah and then we wonder what's wrong with the world well you're not raising your own children somebody else is raising them and usually the person that's raising a child in daycare it's the lowest pay so let's figure out the kind of person that you're getting not to say that that's
Starting point is 00:41:48 always like my nieces both my niece and my my nephew's future wife like their quality their quality but they're in a if i remember right they're in a church daycare where there's actual like guidelines for the kids that come in there like the parents have to like their their guidelines for if your child wants to come here they're gonna act like this yeah okay and it's in a more of a religious setting versus just let's throw and it's so expensive yes like I don't you almost work
Starting point is 00:42:28 to put your kid into daycare exactly that's why I quit 20 years ago when I was pregnant with Trace I was like
Starting point is 00:42:32 there's no way I'm gonna pay almost half of what I'm making for someone else to raise my kids we'll be poor and Derek worked
Starting point is 00:42:43 his butt off and I schlepped makeup on the side and we made it happen but I those are things that I'll never get back like oh yeah and parents don't get this like when your kid takes a first step there's only one first step there's only one first word like you're gonna allow you're gonna pay for somebody else to be to raise your children yeah and then it's all this indoctrination starts to happen. And then you don't know what they're feeding into them.
Starting point is 00:43:08 Like, oh, you know, little Johnny's put a dress on today during playtime. So little Johnny, oh, you think you maybe are a girl? No, little Johnny just likes to put a dress on and be a fool. Like my little boys, we used to dress them up in costumes all the time. But they were still boys. Yeah. it's just crazy though it's just a different world too i mean it's just there's always an agenda behind almost everything but right now there's this term called gentle parenting oh and it's a whole movement what are you talking about yeah yeah what yeah what are you talking about yeah Yeah. Yeah. What? What are you talking about? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:45 Gentle parenting. A whole new way. You don't yell. You don't raise your voice to your children. You don't spank them. Like, you're gentle. You just say, don't do that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:54 Don't do that. And you keep saying it. You keep saying it. Redirect. Yep. Yeah. They would have called mine violent parenting. Yes, they would have.
Starting point is 00:44:01 Meat. It would have been called abuse. It would have been. It would never have been. It would have been child abuse. They would have said. It would never have been. It would have been child abuse. They would have said, that's violent. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:08 Yeah. Yeah. Because I'll rip you up out of that chair. It's two seconds flat. Yeah. And we don't do what you're told and how you're told. The world is not gentle. No.
Starting point is 00:44:15 Why are we bringing our kids up in this way? That's why kids need a safe space. Yeah. Ridiculous. No. There's no fortitude with anybody. Gentle parenting. Yeah. Yeah. It's called gentle parenting. Oh, yeah. Yeah. There's no fortitude with anybody. Gentle parenting. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:25 Oh, yeah. Have you ever seen it? Like, have you read books or something on it? This is a new movement. So I've never seen it because my circle, my tribe. My tribe? Our village. My village?
Starting point is 00:44:41 We will push it. Doesn't do it? I'm going to vomit over here. I have a very quick black gag reflex. And if I ever did see it, I might be like, I might want to step into that situation. Well, you need to step in because it's not biblical, guys. Well, if it takes a village, I'm part of your village. Let me whoop your kid, please.
Starting point is 00:45:03 Yeah. No, I've seen it on social media please yeah no I've seen it on like on like social media and stuff I've seen it like how to do it and I'm like I don't think that would work for me
Starting point is 00:45:11 yeah I don't think that would work don't you can't raise your voice right everything has to be eye level get
Starting point is 00:45:17 get into like come down to your child yeah yeah yeah yeah you're never pointing down
Starting point is 00:45:24 yeah you gotta be eye to eye with them i will i'll bring you to my level i ain't getting down to yours you're coming up to mine and ain't gonna be fun and ain't gonna feel good but have you read that verse that you shared in the king james uh probably but give it to me in the king j James is it it's probably harsher and meaner because I read it in the New King James yeah this is New King James um but do not withhold correction from your child for if you beat him with a rod oh I love that he will not die yes he might get close to death he won't die he won't die yeah it takes 40 lashes to kill you. So I'm sure none of us are going to do that to our kids.
Starting point is 00:46:06 And then 14 says, you shall beat him with a rod and deliver his soul from hell. Amen. There's a word. Preach. Preach. It's true. It's true.
Starting point is 00:46:19 Again, you can get your spoon in the merch. I know, exactly. Hold on one second. I'm telling you. Right here. So guys. They're life changers this is it this is a bigger conversation but it starts here they're life changers
Starting point is 00:46:31 your whole household will be completely different yeah just one nice little whack-a-dack-dack on the little i love what galena said she's seen it. And the mom got on Johnny's level and told him, hitting is not nice. And Johnny slapped his mother in the face. And both of Galena's kids looked at her and said, that boy needs a belt. I literally one time, this is a God honest true story. I mean, I have plenty, but this one comes to mind.
Starting point is 00:47:03 And I just was like, these were very smart people. These people had, this husband and wife had this son and he was beating the crap out of her. She's small little thing, beating the crap out of her her and the dad would just kind of like because he's very passive and just kind of like oh well little johnny i don't know what we're gonna do with you i'm thinking to myself i i know what i'm gonna do with johnny yeah she said to us one time to me and tom and like biting our tongues literally biting our tongues we were at a t-ball all our kids play t-ball together and she's like he's just so smart he's so smart that's why he does that he's like got a higher intelligence level than almost every kid that's why he does that no and i was like
Starting point is 00:47:58 you you're a moron you are so smart but you're a freaking moron. But you are not smart. Well, no, educationally wise, like, she was, her career, she was smart. You had to be smart to do her career. But she was, I thought to myself, who are you trying to sell this to? You think we're that stupid? Like, you need to beat that boy's tail. He was beating the crap out of her. Oh, I would have jumped in there.
Starting point is 00:48:23 And she'd be like, you need to stop. She wouldn't even, she wouldn't do nothing. But then to sit there and tell me how brilliant he is and that's why he behaves like that. People will convince themselves of anything. 100%. Even going to heaven with active sin in their life. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:39 Absolutely. Grace. There's enough grace. There ain't enough grace. The Bible is very clear about that too but people will convince themselves of anything so they can not have to deal with the situation i agree i totally agree absolutely anything anybody else want to add anything peanut gallery um i worked in a middle school for two years and so i was a paraprofessional and so i was i didn't know
Starting point is 00:49:01 that i did seventh and eighth graders and so i got to be in a lot of different classrooms and saw a lot of different things. And I agree with you. All the teachers are there like just wanting a little bit of help. Like just give me a little bit of help. And the ones that did the best were the ones that were very, very, very, very tough for about two weeks. And then like mean. Like they were mean. Like kids came in afraid of them.
Starting point is 00:49:22 And then all of a sudden by the middle of the year, they were like playing kickball in their room, like doing basically whatever you want because she could call them back in two seconds. Oh, yeah. And so I learned her name was Karen Green and I love her. And I learned so much just watching her interact with middle school kids because that's a tough age. They will love you. Yeah. Yes. I loved her.
Starting point is 00:49:41 That's like me. Like all my favorite teachers were very, very hard on us. Yeah. They were strict. Yeah. Because very, very hard on us. Yeah. They were strict. Yeah. But then they weren't. Because you knew you cared about them. Right.
Starting point is 00:49:48 Like, Melissa, who comes here. Yeah. Well, she lives in. Yeah, yeah. She comes. She used to come here all the time. But now she's moved to Tallahassee. But Tom used to go to her class.
Starting point is 00:49:57 She would have Tom come in. And he would speak. OK. She worked at Imagine here in Northport. And, like like he loved because he did that a lot he would go in and speak at a lot of different classes and the teachers just had no control of their classroom now he would gain control because like he's in a uniform right like who's gonna mess with that
Starting point is 00:50:17 and he's six two nobody's gonna mess with that yeah but he'd walk into that room and it you could hear a pin drop. She had set. He's like, she has such control over that class and they love her. He's like, but nobody, nobody dares cross that woman. She is five one.
Starting point is 00:50:37 And if she is 110 pounds, that's probably soaking wet and the cutest thing and like adorable and sweetest pumpkin pie. You don't mess with her. Yeah. probably soaking wet. And the cutest thing. Adorable. And sweet as pumpkin pie. You don't mess with her. Yeah, I love that. But she, like, it just goes to show you, it doesn't matter the size. I know, it doesn't. None of that matters. It matters, like, how much do you love that class, those kids,
Starting point is 00:50:58 and having a, I wouldn't say reverent, but there is some reverence to having organization and having a classroom that honors and respects. And there has to be some reverence to the person that is in charge. Absolutely. And there's something to be said for that. It does. She don't play. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:23 It's a beautiful thing. The way it has to be right now oh yeah listen survive yeah it's so funny because when i did children's church i ran children's church i would have between 40 and 60 kids and i was by myself a lot talia will attest to this because she was in my class i could have anywhere between 40 and 60 and I did it by myself and I was like I was scary yeah but I awesome yeah she goes yeah but everybody knew I loved them right yeah I mean everybody I would go and eat lunch with these kids at school I would just I would have special things for them they knew I mean if they needed something we would lay hands on them. They would, you know, they knew if they needed anything that I was going to be there for them.
Starting point is 00:52:08 But when you have that many kids in a room, like there has to be some kind of like. You have to walk in your story. You have to own it. You have to be. You do have to own it. That's too many kids to just. I didn't mind it they were they were actually really good for the most part um because once they knew the system right they knew when
Starting point is 00:52:32 the time was for them to be free and then they knew the time where this is this is we're not playing absolutely and and there's then you can have just a great class and you have so much fun right but like also with like the events we did we got to see that side of you so it's like we knew that in class you were that way for a certain reason yeah because at the events you were like more relaxed because it's an event so we're all like running around yeah yeah yeah so like game time snack time it's one thing but yeah when you're teaching plus there's always how can you teach when there's the one that's disrupting and then nobody's gonna learn anything so you gotta reel, plus there's always, how can you teach when there's the one that's disrupting and then nobody's going to learn anything.
Starting point is 00:53:07 Right, I know. You've got to reel them in. That's right. Sponsor time. All right. Are you good? Everybody good? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:13 That's interesting. I had no idea you did that. Interesting. Let's do Laura Keller and Real Estate Appraisal Associates of Southwest Florida. Laura's been in business since 2005. She is a Florida State Certified Residential Appraiser and has been for 24 years. She three locations lakewood ranch port charlotte and tampa and she can assist almost anyone anywhere and she has the most trusted appraisal
Starting point is 00:53:34 company in southwest florida they have done approximately 10 000 appraisals and are approved by over 300 banks lenders and government entities all over the united states her company does appraisals for just about everything from residential properties up to four units. They work with FEMA using the 50% rule, settling estates, probate situations, inherited properties where the heir or heirs are not local and need the appraisal for their attorney, step-up and basis appraisal for capital gains taxes,
Starting point is 00:53:57 and they also provide assistance in selling properties. So if you need an appraisal, tell her that the whole potline's in, you get a $50 discount. And if you're going to sell something or buy something, listen, even if it's cash, don't be foolish. Get an appraisal and get it by somebody that's trusted because you don't want, like, there's appraisers that will go in and they'll, like, write something up. And it won't even be accurate. But then you're upside down automatically on a house.
Starting point is 00:54:28 Or you need to buy it and it's actually worth the dollar value for what you're purchasing it for, but the appraiser is dumb as a box of rocks, doesn't really want to do the work and put in the time and then they put it in at a lower price and now you've got to come up with the cash
Starting point is 00:54:42 for the difference. Don't think that I'm wrong or you think I'm wrong. I'm not because I sold real estate and I would have to deal with these appraisers that just wanted to make the money and not really put in the time. I would have to send them the comps to prove my point, whether it was worth it or it wasn't. And then voila, miraculously, they changed their appraisal because they knew they hadn't put the time in so find somebody that will and actually cares about their client and that would be laura keller so i will also uh hansen automotive hey i got hansen automotive's wife right here how long has nick
Starting point is 00:55:20 been in had his own company just seven years celebrating an anniversary of just seven years I remember when he stepped out and did his own thing because the guy he was working for sketch and he was not doing it he's like you're gonna be sketchy I ain't working for you no more because he is honest as the day is long I'm telling you I just this personal this is a personal endorsement because I just had my truck in there. So the truck, Tommy's truck, which Talon Towing, Josh Partridge, who attends this church, you need a towing company, Talon Towing.
Starting point is 00:55:59 Listen, use Christians. Talon Towing came. Tommy was on 41. Stake went right through his tire blew it out immediately he's sitting in the median and called talent owing they were there in like 10 minutes not lying Tom left left because we were coming home on Saturday night from the conference Tommy's like need some help somebody's gotta come and get me by the By the time Tom got to Tommy from our house, which is 10 minutes,
Starting point is 00:56:29 talent towing was pulling up basically at the same time. Wow. Wow is right. That's impressive. Exactly. I'll take that. All day long. I mean, they're on the ball.
Starting point is 00:56:39 We haul it over to Nick's. Nick takes care of everything. And we get treated not, I mean, I know we're friends with him, but he does this with everybody. I've never had it be that people think that, like, he doesn't care about them, you know? He's not like that. So all four tires get replaced, and the hubcap is bent,
Starting point is 00:57:02 and most people will not even tell you that your hubcap is bent. So you might feel a little wobble wobble. You don't need an alignment, which most people, if you get a wobble, you're going to think, I've got to go now spend money on alignment. No. He's like, it's okay. It's just a bent. It's just a little bit of a bent hubcap or not hubcap.
Starting point is 00:57:21 What is this thing called? Rim. Rim. And so Tommy got in the car and he's like oh i can't even feel it but that's what you're dealing with tommy didn't even know it but nick is so honest like he could charge for uh an alignment probably tommy we would never have known because we can barely feel it right and like that's what most people do that's not what you're going to get amen so if you need anything automotive related done he's your guy and he will take great care of you take great
Starting point is 00:57:52 care of you all right i'm going to do one more question let's do it i got two minutes let's do it so this is an interesting question do you think the think the Pharisees started out with good intentions? I learned Pharisee means separated one. So if their goal was to separate themselves from those not following the law and they took a standby setting themselves apart, setting themselves apart to obey and study the law, was that really bad? Why do you think they went so wrong that they missed the Messiah right in front of their face?
Starting point is 00:58:23 I wonder how many Christians would do the same today. Well, they are doing it today. I can promise you that. Do I think that they started out with good intentions? I had to seriously think about this, but I do think that they did. I think, I mean, I'm not, obviously, I'm not sure about it. This is just my opinion, okay? But I think that in order to put that much effort and time into studying things and memorizing it, in the beginning, I think that they did have good intentions. But I think pride, as always, gets in the way of things, which means when you get very prideful,
Starting point is 00:59:02 you get very covetous of the thing that you've been given, which is they had clout, they had prestige, they had everybody thinking they were the smartest things, the all-knowing things, the ones that could forgive, the whole nine. So I think pride got in the way, and because of that, I think they they a part of me really believes that they did know he was the messiah i mean i seriously thought about this
Starting point is 00:59:32 question thoroughly through for a while i do think that there were some because some of them did because joseph who gave the tomb his his tomb to jesus when he was uh when when he was hung on the cross, he actually was a Pharisee. And he knew he was the Messiah. I believe the ones that rejected him and hung him on the cross, even though Joseph was not participating in that, I believe that they did know. There were some of them that still had him sent and crucified knew he was the messiah but because they did not want any of the prestige taken from them they were so full of pride it was more important for them to say he is not the messiah because it would have taken everything
Starting point is 01:00:20 away from them and given everything to jesus and for that it was worth it to them so I think yeah they probably there was plenty of them that started out with good intentions and then it went south because of pride that's my opinion I have no scripture to prove any of that other than again Joseph giving up his tomb you know nobody had even ever been in that tomb a lot of times tombs were used by families and uh so there had been and that's this that's very significant that jesus was the first one in that tomb nobody had ever laid in there so it would happen is is they would put these people when they died they obviously wrapped them and and and they they decomposed then they would take the bones and then you if you go to Israel, they have these little boxes.
Starting point is 01:01:06 Everybody thinks they were for babies, and I can't remember the name of them, but they're not for babies. They're actually little boxes of the remains of a person, which is their bones. And so that's what they would do. They would put them in the cave, and as they decomposed, after they were decomposed, they would take them out, and then they would put them in a smaller box. And then somebody else, when they died, would go back into that cave jesus that was a brand new
Starting point is 01:01:29 tomb it had never been used and it was him i mean that's the purity of jesus and he's not second class and he doesn't get somebody's leftovers he gets the first amen so that's the way that goes but i truly believe do you guys i mean do you have any thoughts on that? Like, quick thoughts? Anybody? I just think of, like, Nicodemus and, you know, in John 3, how he, like, went out at night and was like, I got to find out. You know, I got to know. And then Jesus explains to him, like, you have to be born again.
Starting point is 01:01:59 Yeah. He doesn't really quite get it. But to me, I don't know how you could be in that close capacity with Jesus and not know who he was. You know what I mean? It's the same way when people, like the conference, okay? There were so many people just like filled with and on fire with the Holy Spirit.
Starting point is 01:02:19 How can you walk into that and be like, this isn't real? Well, you think about it, though. You think about the soldiers when Judas went up to them and kissed them on the cheek, and all those soldiers went down to their knees. I mean, people have a problem with being slain in the spirit, but what do you think happened to those soldiers? I know. They fell down.
Starting point is 01:02:39 They couldn't even explain why they were falling down. Because every knee will bow. Every knee will bow right every knee will bow and even those the pharisees and the sadducees they felt that they were just there that's where you can go so far that that that's what people forget that's the unpardonable sin that's how far you go where you're not even susceptible right to those things because you're so full of yourself. Yep. And that's why pride is so dangerous. Yep. So dangerous.
Starting point is 01:03:07 It'll make, it'll take you places that you never dreamt you would go or probably, well, no, you will, you want to go cause you're, you allow yourself to go there. I was going to say,
Starting point is 01:03:16 or you wouldn't want to go, but no, you do want to go there. It's just like Pharaoh. Pharaoh knew how far he had gone. He knew that the plagues were attacking the Egyptians and they were suffering. Even he was suffering.
Starting point is 01:03:27 But his pride was so big. And he wanted to be the biggest and baddest and own and like... Pride will take you places that you think you wouldn't want to go, but apparently you do. And it hardens the heart. Pride will harden the heart.
Starting point is 01:03:46 And it's just that simple anything else i love that question though because that made me think i'm like huh that's interesting yeah very great very good stars definitely recommend bing bing bing bing come up with more questions whoever wrote that one yeah because that's a good one we got plenty more that are very interesting like that and we will be giving them to you on Friday.
