Real talk. Real talk. much for joining us today. It's a wild and crazy, it's like the wild, wild west here in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Charlotte County. I just found out two seconds ago that we had a shooting and a stabbing right down the road.
Correct.
Sleepy little Northport.
That's crazy. I'm so glad I did not work out today down at the gym.
Literally wild.
Because I would have not been happy trying to get home.
Right.
Yeah, that's exactly the direction you would have been going.
I've been mad.
Today is my off.
I mean, I actually did work out, but not having to go to the gym.
Today is my off day like that.
You were actively resting.
No, I was actively walking.
Actively walking.
I was walking instead of lifting weights
much my body is killing me right now.
Oh no.
Keep upping my game, girls.
That's it.
Keep lifting more weights.
But it's nuts.
So apparently,
I'm going to let the peanut gallery tell what happened
because I'm kind of
like not in the know completely but i feel like i'm back in washington dc right now and vanessa
said she moved from new york the bronx to get away from this literally left brooklyn thinking
i'm going to the suburbs you know no you're, you're not. No, you're not.
Brought the Brooklyn with you.
What's going on?
Tell everybody what's going on because it happened at the Wawa.
Tell us the 411.
Yeah, give us the 411 and the 911.
On the 911.
He said, there was a mentally unstable homeless man squatting in the parking lot.
The property manager went to confront him and was attacked.
I believe the property manager used a knife to defend himself, but was shot by the homeless man.
And the suspect is in custody.
Okay, this is the question us girls were thinking.
Like, first of all, you're homeless.
So how do you get a gun?
Like, you can't afford squat.
Apparently, you're not supposed to be able to afford squat.
Correct.
And then, like, bullets.
How do you buy bullets?
You got no money.
Right.
Or do you really?
Right.
Why did it escalate that quickly?
That quickly, right.
Because apparently he's insane.
Yeah, he's not all there. Or he just wanted to go to jail so he could get some free meals. One quickly, right. Because apparently he's insane. He's not all there.
Or he just wanted to go to jail
so he could get some free meals.
He ain't coming out.
He ain't coming out.
Not in the state of Florida.
You do something with a gun in the state of Florida,
you're gone for a really long
time. Bye-bye.
See ya.
I don't feel bad for you yeah what a crazy morning yeah like
apparently it just opened up we had yeah yeah within like the last 10 minutes to get food after
this i mean it's probably go at your own risk yeah go at your own risk yeah i mean whatever
i need to get fitted for like a bulletproof vest.
Yeah, that's not a bad idea.
That's why we're going to have the G's.
The G's, it doesn't matter.
I'm so excited about this.
Now more than ever we need the G's.
I want to carry so bad.
Like I want to so badly.
Where would you carry?
I know, that's the thing
like I've got to figure out
where
I know where I'm carrying
do you
I don't like
I'm Barney Fife-ing it
all day long
right there
putting it right back
in the back
when he was undercover
Barney Fife always
now he ripped his underwear
pulling it out
but like
okay whatever
whatever the cost
I'm not counting them
yeah yeah
I'll just
yep it's gonna be on my person oh yeah Okay, whatever. Whatever the cost. I'm not counting them. Yeah, yeah. I'll just.
Yep.
It's going to be on my person.
Oh, yeah, for sure.
Not in my purse.
Ooh.
Oh, she's double fisting.
That's frightening.
Oh, man.
But I will tell you, I'm working out all the details with Travis.
I love it.
Because that's mandatory.
You ain't. I love it. And cause that's mandatory. You ain't not around me.
You're not taking,
unless you've taken some gun,
a gun course.
Yeah.
You will not be shooting anything around me.
Yeah. Smart.
Yeah.
Or any of my friends.
Yeah.
Let's be smart.
Let's be smart about this one.
So yeah,
we're going to,
we got,
we got it in the works and,
uh,
we'll have some, we'll have some'll have some paraphernalia to wear.
I like it.
I love it.
And representing.
That's what we're going to do.
We're going to represent.
So in case anybody wasn't here last week when you announced it, the G's is?
I don't know which one I want to do.
Okay.
We can ask everybody which one they like most.
The G's. We're the G's. It's the girl. What? I wasn't know which one I want to do. Okay. We can ask everybody which one they like most. Okay. The Gs.
We're the Gs.
It's the girl.
What?
I wasn't here.
She's lost.
What?
You're 18.
You can be a part of it.
She walked out.
Yeah, you walked out.
Yeah.
Okay.
So it's called the Gs.
It's the girl's gun group.
Okay.
Or the girl's gun gang.
Okay.
I'm not sure which one I like.
I like gang. You like gang?
Yeah.
I like gang too.
I like gang.
Didn't I tell you I was leaning towards the gang gang too I know I didn't have a preference
Ask
I've always wanted to be in a gang
I kind of did too
I was
I wanted to join a mafia
Even though there was no name for it
You wouldn't
Oh my gosh
It's somewhat of a one
Kind of It was not good You wouldn't. Oh my gosh. It's somewhat of a one.
Kind of.
It was not good.
Lots of not good things go on.
This gang is going to be really good.
Yeah, this will be a good one.
My mom was in a gang.
What?
A motorcycle.
Oh my gosh. No.
It was a Christian.
Okay.
Wow.
She drove a motorcycle?
Romans 828, I think, was their slogan.
She was on the Lord's army
I grew up on the back of a Harley
oh wow
I've never not
until I married Tom
never not
now Norma has a motorcycle
I've never not
had a motorcycle in my life
until I married Tom all my life I grew up had a motorcycle in my life. Oh, my gosh.
In Telenary Town.
Yeah.
Like all my life, I grew up on a motorcycle.
That's so crazy.
I know.
It was pretty wild.
It was awesome.
Well, up north, people now actually had to ride on motorcycles and ride in cars around motorcycles.
Yeah, right.
Not in the state of Florida.
Oh, my gosh.
Not safe.
For real.
No.
People are idiots on both.
On the motorcycles, I don't care.
Like, I cannot stand when I see the cars that say,
look out for motorcycles.
And sometimes those very people are the ones driving the worst.
Right.
Right.
Or, like, the people who just do not pay attention
and do not look for a motorcycle that is driving
just like a normal individual in a normal vehicle?
Like, how can you miss them?
How are you not cognitive of your surroundings and people?
People just don't look.
Like, I literally today coming here,
this lady went to get in my lane.
I was like right next to her.
And if it was a motorcycle?
I know.
That person might be dead.
I mean, how can you not?
I mean, we're in Florida.
There are so many motorcycles.
Why are you not paying attention for that vehicle?
Got to look.
Come on.
I know.
So many senseless deaths for no reason whatsoever for motorcycle riders.
And they should be able to ride that bike without worrying about some yahoo running them over.
Yep.
Yep.
True that. So in the state of florida no and tom tom was like my dad was like uh when we were dating he a bunch of of
our friends were riding up to sarasota to go out to eat and where they were all on their bikes and
i was like my dad's like yeah you want to go and i'm like yeah and then i was dating tom and i knew
he hated them and even though we we like very, very serious at the time.
So I was like, hey, listen, I'm going to ride on my,
I'm going to ride a Sarasota on my dad's bike.
You're good with that, right?
And he's like, let this be the last time.
He picked too many brains up off the side of the road.
He's like, I'm not for that.
And he wasn't a big faith guy at the time.
So he probably feel differently now.
But he's like, let's let this be the last time we do this.
My dad actually after that, he's like, you know what?
I'm done.
This is just going to be a pretty little thing in the garage.
Oh, yeah.
Because he even said, you know, it is way different to drive here than it is.
And that was like 20 plus years ago.
Because this is like 28 years ago.
Wow.
That's crazy. Because Tom and I have been married 27. I'm 28 years ago something like that that's crazy because tom and i've been married 27 on 28 yeah so it's crazy so i feel for motorcycle driver motorcycle
riders i do really do but then there's the ones that we've in and out and like between me and
the car next to me and i'm like how do you know that i'm not gonna actually actually go to my
right right i know i I know. I know.
You're going 100 miles an hour.
Yeah, I know.
So next topic I want to talk about,
it's not a question.
This is what I want to talk about.
Okay.
Okay, so remember, like, was it two weeks ago when those people sent in something
or you saw something about potentially in this month
Trump would be tried to be assassinated again and we prayed over that? You remember that? I do. people sent in something or you saw something about potentially in this month,
Trump would be tried to be assassinated again. And we prayed over that.
You remember that?
Yes.
Do you not think that there's a whole bunch of people praying over that man and his safety?
100%.
I'm just saying there is absolutely no way that God is not preserving this man's life.
Right.
Literally.
We need to keep him in prayer and angels surrounding him wherever he goes,
along with RFK.
Yes.
Yes.
Because they're speaking truth.
They're risking their lives to do what is right.
Along with like Steve Bannon, who's in jail right now.
There are so many patriots that are not saved.
Right.
We can't even get the saved
to do this. And the lost are actually like doing righteous things. They sure are. We need to be
paying a hedge of protection, especially if they're willing to do the very things that we're
not willing to do. Just put our neck out on the line and say the things that need to be said and
doing the things that need to be done.
I say if you attend this church, the odds are high that you're not one of the people I'm talking about.
Because most of the people that come to our church are very patriotic.
And when they are in the right situation, they do say what needs to be said and they do do what needs to be done.
But a lot of Christians are too afraid and too cowardly to do that.
We need to pray heavily over this man.
What are the daggum odds? I mean, what are the odds that a person is going to see in a fence,
a little rifle poking out? What? I mean, what are the odds? God. God? It's literally. Like the turning of the head?
Yeah.
God?
Right.
I know.
It just floors me if people don't believe that their steps are ordered by him.
Right.
Yeah.
Your steps are very ordered by him and you are not going to go out until your job is done.
Yes.
Yep.
Trump is not special.
Right.
We're no different. We have we have a purpose and a plan
and we need to fulfill that and God will protect us as we do. But I truly believe I mean, this
first of all, two things. One is all they're doing is making him more appealing. Yeah. And then waking up the left that thought that the right was crazy.
Right.
Now, like I, and I'm not sure about this,
but I think I saw Chris Cuomo who wanted to apologize to Trump
because he's now seeing things.
Like if you can do that with a Chris Cuomo,
tell me if I'm wrong about that.
Are you looking that up right now?
I am because I remember seeing something about that too too and it was on like a very reliable source if I remember right that I saw it
but if you're waking up to the left to that degree how hard is it going to be for them to win
because a lot of times you play on people's sympathy and they will they will simply vote
for Trump out of sympathy for him because of everything that's coming up against him.
You're stacking the odds,
and you're making it very difficult for you to even win this election.
And then you add in the God factor.
I mean, if his life has now been spared twice,
you have to sit there and wonder.
I mean, like, is he not going to win?
Is this not going to be miraculous, a miraculous winning again?
Yep.
For me, I just like, you start looking at the odds
and how things are all shifting and the crazy,
I mean, there's less than 50 days now until the election.
I was just thinking like November is like right around the corner.
Right around the corner.
It literally is.
Yeah.
Yep.
I mean, for me, it's, like, it's pretty wild.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
And I can see the left, like, eating each other, you know?
Oh, well, look at Sean P.
Or P. Diddy Combs.
We'll just leave the Sean out.
Yeah, P. Diddy.
Look at what's going on with him.
You know about that, right?
No.
Oh, my God.
All I know is that they found a lot of baby oil.
They did.
I was going to say that.
In his home.
Yeah.
You know what?
The baby oil.
I have an idea.
It was a lot of...
Listen, he was... Oh, it's so bad. A lot of, listen, he was.
Oh, it's so bad.
A lot of blackmail.
And it wasn't with, it was same sex.
That doesn't surprise me.
No, that is.
That's how he's been controlling people, apparently.
Of course.
And the powers that be, you know.
Right.
Something went wrong.
Something went awry.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
That's pretty wild.
Mm-hmm.
It really is.
Eventually, they will eat you.
Yeah.
Yep.
Yep.
You get into the wrong hands.
I mean, you have to sit there and go, oh, my gosh, is he going to be another what's-his-face?
Mm-hmm.
What's that guy's name that killed himself?
Epstein. Epstein. Yeah. Oh's name that killed himself? Epstein.
Yeah.
Oh, yes.
Epstein.
Epstein.
Because he was arrested.
He suicided himself.
Yeah, he did.
Yeah, he suicided himself.
And alive himself.
Oh, wait.
Is that?
We're not supposed to.
We never said that.
That was a joke.
And alive.
And alive.
I think you can say it.
It's fine.
Well, I.
We don't want to trigger anybody.
Well, the thing is, is we don't want to trigger anybody. Well,
the thing is,
is Facebook is not even real.
Anyway,
it's like what we were talking about,
like,
uh,
uh,
even on Tom's podcast,
like they,
they'll say that there's a certain number of people watching and then you have more people commenting.
I know.
It's not possible.
And then you have 22,000 people on our Facebook page and you're only going to have 10 people watching.
No way.
That's impossible.
Especially because we have diehard people.
You said like we have patriotic diehard people.
It's not real.
It's impossible.
It's impossible.
They just make the number be smaller so nobody knows the actual number watching.
And you can't show up on the main page because it's all a game.
Well, the thing is, is back in the day when Tom really hit hard on Facebook,
I remember he was at like 800.
And people were like, 800 people are watching this thing.
What is this thing?
What is going on here?
Correct.
Because the larger the number, the more people are attracted to find thing what is going on here correct because the larger the number the
more people are attracted to find out what's going on but if you keep it small then people are like
i don't really care about that correct yeah but they don't realize there's actually more people
watching than yeah then what's really being seen such a fraud it's so dumb so i know it's evil it
is evil at its core. It absolutely is.
So you want to do our thing.
But I just had to talk about that, that Trump thing, because I just so like.
It's amazing for a person to see that far and to see that.
Yeah.
Yep.
Went in the brush on top of that.
Right.
And you're right.
Chris Cuomo did reach out and he's like really bothered by it.
He said, like, what really bothers me is the lack of reaction to the second attempt on Trump in the last couple of months.
This quote unquote, the guy didn't even shoot. And then he said, oh, what if this was your father or Kamala Harris or President Biden?
God forbid. And then he just like he went on and on and he just said he doesn't deserve this. And he said, you know, a guy pointing the AK-47 at him while he's playing golf.
He doesn't get the round off.
Like, I don't even know how he's still in the race right now.
Like so much.
That's huge.
Yeah.
Like, I mean, it's a whole conversation.
I'm just saying that there's going to be a lot of people that they don't even realize that turn.
Because the evil is beyond even them being able to support it.
Because your conscience, it's not that seared.
So if that can happen, you sit there and go, I wonder how many people that were far less like.
Verocious about him.
Yeah.
Feel.
Yeah, of course.
I know.
Yeah.
Because you do.
You think like, what if this was my dad?
What if this was my friend?
Like, oh, yeah.
Everybody has that spot that if it's not seared.
Yeah, absolutely.
It's amazing, though.
Let's win this.
Amen.
You just have to wonder if that's not what God's doing.
I know.
I do.
I do wonder.
But we still, regardless of anything, we definitely need to pray.
Continue, continue, continue to pray over this man and the hedge of protection.
Absolutely.
Because they say he was shaken by it.
Yeah.
But he was more bothered that he couldn't continue playing golf.
That's what it said.
He was, he was, he was shaken by it, but he actually wanted to finish the golf game because
he was doing pretty good.
Gotta love it.
Oh, I do.
I do love it.
So good.
Yep.
Do your thing, sister.
All right.
Okay.
So, um, Hey, Facebook facebook people we actually have a decent
number on facebook so um talia's going to drop the rumble link in and if you guys want to jump
over there um that would be amazing so just let us know who's watching um and if you're watching
the replay you can always put in replay um and just keep that chat going sometimes that's super
helpful um when it comes to some kind of algorithm if we can beat it somehow. But if not, just hop over to Rumble. You can, you know, on the Facebook page,
you can like and follow and do all the stuff over there. But again, commenting, letting us know,
and then head over to Rumble. It's great to see everybody in the live chat. We got our
conversation going. I was so engaged that I wasn't really paying
attention. But hey, Sarah, we miss you. You're at home. Bye. Okay. YouTube, if you head over there,
if you want to subscribe, get those notifications, Black Robe, you can always head there. But
if you're watching live, Rumble is the place to be. You can hit that thumbs up button.
Um,
that might help us.
Who knows?
We'll try it out.
See what happens.
Um,
we got the audio podcast that will go live later.
As always,
you can always ask,
um,
in the actual comment section on rumble.
You can send a question there or you can send it to ask hope at hope hotline.com.
Um,
that would be the best place if it's in the live chat and we miss it somehow, which most likely we won't.
But if we did, it's just it disappears afterwards. Live chat does not live forever.
So those chats disappear. But we need questions just in general because we love obviously that's the whole point of this podcast is to answer your questions. But also, Natalie will be here on Friday, September 20th.
And we have the opportunity to ask her any questions
when it comes to medical, when it comes to supplements,
when it comes to hot topics right now
with whatever people are dealing with in the world,
anything medical.
And she's going to be here, and it's going to be here and it's going to be
awesome. I love having her on. She's just a wealth of knowledge and she's just the sweetest. And so
come prepared on Friday, September 20th. Are we going to open up? Like, can they ask questions
in the live chat that day too? Okay. So if you can't think of any in the meantime,
please like have those ready and you can ask and we'll hopefully get to them. But if you can't think of any in the meantime, please have those ready and you can ask and we'll hopefully get to them.
But if you really want to know something, please send it in.
I'm going to go back to askhopeathopehotline.com.
Just send those questions right to us and we will get them over there.
And then we'll head over to our merch real quick.
Available at foundationchurchfl.com and just click on the shop button.
Foundationchurchfl.com is our actual website for a church.
So when you click the shop, you'll see other merch in there as well.
And of course, if you're here on Sunday, you can always buy any of the merch available in the merch store.
Friday, October 4th at 630 p.m., we will be doing another night of worship, Crave, and it will end
at 8 p.m. So make sure you're here on time. Come prepared. Have your heart prepared towards what
God can do for you. And please invite somebody. This is a great opportunity to get them in our
doors. If somebody's been asking about church and they're like, oh, I don't know if I'm ready to come. Like this is a great, great opportunity to do like an outreach of some sort to
get people here. And our just, our worship team is so anointed and who knows what will happen,
healings, restoration, all kinds of stuff. So definitely come to this night in October. And that is it. Coming back to you.
That is good.
Bring a friend.
Yes.
Bring a friend.
Bring a friend.
Especially one that loves worship, but bring a friend.
Because if you're trying to get somebody saved
or somebody who is soft to the Lord, bring them to worship
because that's a great way to,
music is such a great way to, music is such a great
way to bring people into the fold.
So, and it soothes the savage beast.
Seriously.
Like starts chipping away like an ice pick.
It really does.
Yeah.
So bring somebody to worship.
It'll be easy for them, but it'll also be something that I think really moves them and softens the heart.
So plan to bring somebody with you, and it'll be a good night.
So even if they go to another church, for me, it's like there is no childcare for grave.
Or did I do childcare for grave last time?
I feel like I did.
I did do it. Are you sure? Yes, there'll child care for grave last time? I feel like I did. I did do it.
Are you sure?
Yes, there'll be child care.
You say no child care.
No, because if you do no child care, then people have small kids and they can't come.
Then they won't be able to come.
I do not want kids running around during worship.
How do you worship if you're watching your kid?
Yeah, you can.
And then they're disruptive.
There will be child care for grave.
Perfect.
So funny you brought that up because I was just thinking about that.
What's today?
It must have been Friday then.
Friday of last week because it's been several days.
I was thinking
did I do child care or am I doing child care?
I just don't know what I'm doing for that. But I was like
you got plenty of time.
But we don't anymore
because I just said we're going to have child care.
So I'll be looking that up. That's not
a problem. That's actually super easy.
Perfect. That actually will make it
be more people.
So I know what I did last time Heather. So perfect. That actually will make it be more people. Yeah.
So I know what I did last time, Heather. I did do child care.
I remember what I did. Two different classes. God bless.
Brainstorming on the Hope Hotline. Yes. I don't know if it's actual brainstorming in real time.
All right. Let us do our sponsors really quick because I don't want to lose time for that.
Laura Keller and the Real Estate Appraisal Associates of Southwest Florida has been in business since 2005.
She is a Florida State Certified Residential Appraiser and has been for 24 years.
She has three locations, Lakewood, Ranchport, Charlotte, and Tampa.
She can assist anyone almost anywhere.
Let us continue on. I lost
my spot. Sorry. She
is one of the most trusted appraisal companies in
Southwest Florida. They have done approximately
10,000 appraisals and are approved
by over 300 banks, lenders, and government
entities all over the United States.
Our company does appraisals for just about
everything from residential properties up to four units.
They work with FEMA using the 50%
rule, settling estates, probate situations situations inherited properties where their heir or heirs are not local
and need the appraisal for their attorney step up in basis appraisal for capital gains taxes and
they also provide assistance in selling properties and if you get an appraisal you can tell her that
the hope hotline sent you and she will give you a 50 discount 50%, like I said last time. I'm looking at Heather right now.
It's $50, people, $50.
And I'm telling you, you'll want an appraisal if you,
well, you're going to have to get an appraisal if you sell your house
because the lenders are not, unless you do cash.
A bank ain't going to let you loan money to you if you don't have an appraisal,
but it would be far better for you to have an appraisal before you list it
so you know what the price is worth.
And if you have to get an appraisal because you're buying something,
make sure it's done by somebody who's reputable so you get the highest value of that property.
And if it ain't worth what you're buying it for, they'll be able to tell you instead of just
making the numbers work because that's not good either. You know why I lost my space or my
lost my spot? Because I was thinking about how great her
hair looked on sunday who laura oh her hair looked fantastic when she walked in i don't see her i
don't ever see her either she wore it straight and it was super cute oh i was thinking in my head
and i lost my my i i don't know squirrel i don't know what to tell you. Yeah, that happens. Her phone number to call if you are listening to us and you're not watching us.
It's 941-743-3700.
Her website is www.swflappraisals.com.
So it's www.southwestfloridaappraisals.com.
Southwest is SW, Florida is FLidaappraisals.com. Southwest is SW.
Florida is FL.
Appraisals.com.
Again, number is 941-743-3700.
You will not be disappointed.
Hanson Automotive.
Hanson Automotive Services has been in business since 2017 with 20 years experience.
They do everything from oil changes to tires to AC work to engine repair and replacement.
They are not just motivated to do their best. They are auto motivated. Their business lives by Proverbs 16, three, commit to
the Lord, whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. And you will not be disappointed if
you call him to check out your car. You know what? Another good thing that he does,
and you might want to do this before you buy a vehicle, you might want to have it out absolutely by an auto mechanic i don't know that might be a smart because that's a
very expensive purchase especially if it's used and you're buying it from somebody you don't know
yep i know he does that yep he does that a lot for people so you might want to run something by
him have him take a look at it instead of buying a lemon yeah yeah you should definitely have somebody look at
it his number is 941-460-3962 941-460-3962 he is in inglewood florida again you will not be
disappointed but you know but lots of people forget like you should probably get your vehicle
checked out before you buy it yeah cannot tell you because that's when we've been thinking about buying something used before
and not from a dealership that doesn't have a warranty.
Right.
We always go, well, we'll have a NIC look at it.
Yeah.
Yep.
Before we buy it.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
Because heard too many bad stories.
Yep.
About buying lemons.
Yep.
Not good.
Yep.
Exactly.
So that'll save you some time and money.
Absolutely.
So we're going to go into the questions.
Okay.
Right?
Okay.
So what I did is last week I started on the seven,
because, and I'm holding off on some of the questions,
but we'll collect them and we'll get back on those.
But I was very interested in what are questions that are very common
that are asked by Google?
Now, I've done the 100 before or the 20, top 20,
and these didn't appear to be in.
I don't remember seeing these in the top 20.
But what I typed in is,
what is the most common questions asked by people about God?
And the seven most common questions came up Google says
here's the seven most common questions I've already done two of them and I
don't remember what they are because I don't have them in the list anymore okay
sorry about that now the next one we're gonna get to is is Christianity too
narrow which you know that's it's in those it's in the bible like
it is for me i'm like well why don't you just look at that yeah but if you know the bible you
wouldn't know that it's in there that's the i literally read that i'm like well that's a
scripture how could you not know that well duh if you don't read the bible then you're not gonna
know it correct if you forget you seriously forget what it's like not to be saved after a while. I'm very happy about that. I'm very happy that
I don't remember what it's like being saved. But the common things that we think is common
knowledge, are there not to an unbeliever? And so let's look at that.
I know the other two questions real quick. Do you want me to throw them out there?
Yeah, what were they? I'm not going to answer them again.
Yeah.
Why does God allow suffering and evil?
And does life have a purpose?
Those were your two from last week.
Thank you for that.
Absolutely.
Put those on a little notebook cause you're going to have to keep those up
starting next week after we do these.
Perfect.
We'll do.
Yeah.
Because I'm hoping we get to two of the questions today.
Yeah.
And then we'll only have three more after that.
Perfect.
After Nat, Natalie.
Yeah.
Okay, so is Christianity too narrow?
I hate to tell you, but yes, it is.
Most people are like, no, it's the greatest thing.
It is the greatest thing.
But yeah, it's super narrow.
It's super narrow.
We're going to look at Scripture.
In Matthew 7, 13 through 14,
I'm going to use the New Living Translation for this because I loved.
I usually look at the different ways Scripture is said, and that's how I base on how I'm going to read it to you guys.
And I loved how the NLT said it.
It's called the Narrow Gate is the title.
So obviously, Christianity is narrow because the title is called the Narrow Gate is the title. So obviously, Christianity is narrow because the title is called The Narrow Gate.
It says you can enter God's kingdom only through the narrow gate.
The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way.
And it has to be wide because more people will be going to hell.
And that's what the scripture says.
But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult
and only a few ever find it. Do you notice that it says, and the road is difficult?
It is. And there's reasons why it's difficult. See, a lot of people are going to be shocked
because they believe that being a good person gets you into heaven. Going to church gets you to heaven.
There are wrong doctrines that basically teach as long as you say the sinner's prayer,
and you can be 5, 10 when you do it,
and you can live like the devil when you turn 20.
But if you live to 10 to 20 and you are a good little Christian,
but in 20 you go hog wild, well, you said the sinner's prayer
and you meant it.
So you're going to heaven.
That is not scriptural.
And people who believe that, that's a bad doctrine.
In fact, I heard a Calvinist pastor said it's a doctrine of devils to preach that.
Which I was shocked.
I was shocked when I heard him say that.
But it is true.
It is. It's adding to the word because in no way shocked when I heard him say that. But it is true. It is.
It's adding to the word,
because in no way in the word does it say that.
It actually says there's going to be a great falling away.
In order to be a great falling away,
you have to be a part of something to fall away from,
which would be what it was talking about is Christianity.
People will walk away from the Lord is what it's saying.
You had to be a part of it to lose it.
So, and that means a lot of times people will say, well, you never meant it to begin with.
Well, then you were never a part of it then.
Right.
Exactly.
It boggles my mind.
I literally makes my head itch because I just go, this makes no sense whatsoever to me. But what it boils down to is really like personal responsibility.
No one takes it anymore.
No one ever examines themselves honestly and says,
am I walking a narrow way or am I walking a broad way?
Am I walking like so many other people?
And I'm not talking, the Bible is clear.
We're not to compare ourselves among ourselves.
So you may be doing better than somebody who is hog wild into sin,
and you're just a little into sin,
but you're not to compare yourself to them anyway,
because they're not going to heaven either.
I mean, you compare yourself by what the word of God says
you're supposed to live like, you're supposed to be like,
you're supposed to live like, you're supposed to be like, you're supposed to reflect. Christian, if you carry that title, in the Bible, it specifically says in the book of Acts
that Christian says you are a replica of Jesus. You are Christ-like. If you are not acting,
talking, behaving, looking like him, you're not a Christian.
That's just the way it is.
Do you struggle with things and can be saved?
100%.
But struggling and living like are two different things.
Because the Bible is very clear.
Those who live like a certain way will not inherit the kingdom of heaven.
So if you decide to live a certain lifestyle, accept it into the way you live,
then you're not heaven bound if it's considered sin.
And that's just the way it is.
Most people, though, will never look at themselves honestly because change scares them
or it makes them think they're going to have to live without something.
So they try and fit God into their way of being a Christian.
And if it doesn't fit the convenience or the way of life for them, then they shelf God in this
area and they bring him in and out of their life as they see fit. And Jesus is not a Jesus of convenience. He is a Jesus of an all-consuming fire.
He's all or nothing.
He wants all of you or nothing.
Be hot or cold.
For the lukewarm he will spew out of his mouth, which is in Revelation, I believe, 3.
So be very, very careful.
Be very careful.
But I will tell you this.
Most people, I mean, there are people at Foundation Church that are like this,
but I would say most people at Foundation Church are honest about themselves because it's preached
so heavily to be transparent, to always do self-evaluation, not OCD, not where you're
obsessed about like, am I doing this am I doing that or
you know not that's not healthy but you should always be healthfully healthy um that's not the
right word I want to use um uh what is it when you are looking at yourself
in a I guess more balanced is what I'm maybe trying to say.
I can't think of the right word.
Examination?
Like cross-examination?
No, you are.
You're looking at yourself in the mirror and you're saying, am I these things?
Am I not?
But some people do it to the extreme where it's always like they nitpick everything.
So there's always, that's not healthy to behave like that.
Like tearing yourself down.
Yeah, but I'm trying to think of the right word for healthy.
I'm trying to help.
That is.
Sober minded?
Yeah, that's probably a good way to say it.
That's not what I was thinking.
But actually, stable is more of what I'm thinking.
But sober minded is because both of them are biblical.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You're,
you're supposed to be stable in all your ways,
but being sober minded is actually probably better of what I'm trying to,
to say.
So when you're doing a self eval on,
on yourself,
you need to be sober minded with it.
So you're not like some people are extreme streamist and they're in
everything,
right?
That's not being stable.
That's not being like,
that's like,
like a wave to toss to and fro.
And,
and that's not,
that's not healthy,
but to be sober minded is to be somebody who can look at something and not be.
This is what I love about men.
They can always look at a situation and kind of be objective about it.
Most men do not live in an emotional state.
They are not highs, highs and lows.
Or like if they have to deal with the situation, a lot of times, like women look at it emotionally, right?
That's just our nature.
Where men can stand back, remove their emotion from it and say, well, this is what I see.
This is how we should deal with it.
This is how we should handle it.
But even if they hate the very person that they're having to side with, they can do that because they're objective.
They're sober-minded.
And that's how we should really look at ourselves.
Not off kilter, not off balance.
A lot of people don't do that.
What they do is they go to churches where everybody looks the same.
Nobody's really saved.
They go to a social club.
They hang out with each other.
They live all the same kinds of lives.
They compare themselves among themselves, and they're never, ever looking at their fruit.
So true.
You guys want to say anything to this while we keep going?
Yeah, no, that is, I think, the worst part about most churches is that they get stuck in, like, a doctrine that they've decided is real and there's no, you don't,
they don't check their fruit.
Okay.
I don't believe in healing, but I see them doing all these healings and I'm not receiving,
seeing any healings, but nobody even like checks that.
They just like, nope, I don't believe in it.
Like that.
Like what?
It doesn't exist today.
What happens when you need healing?
Then are you going to believe in it?
So you care more about yourself than to like work this out and be like, okay, I don't,
this seems off because I haven't seen a ton of healings.
Like work it out.
But the church is just like, meh, like it's not my problem.
Oh, well.
Well, because if they say that healing does exist and it's not God's will, then they have
to answer why there's so many sick, ill, dying people in their congregation, and they've done absolutely nothing about it.
Yeah.
They take accountability.
And then they have to check their fruit.
Exactly.
Or they go out on a limb, they stand on these things, they don't come to pass, and then
they have to answer for that.
Yeah.
But it'd be far better.
Like Andrew Womack, one of the things I love about him is he was standing on faith and on healing
and on prosperity and he had seen no healings he was sick he kept getting sick he kept being in
financial destitution not eating his wife is pregnant yeah she's they're both fasting but
not voluntarily like they were not seeing the results of what they believed in.
And people would say, you're a fraud. But he's like, I'd rather believe what the Bible says
and look like a fraud than to say it's not what the Bible says. And the word is not true.
Because I can't do what the Bible says. And he told the Lord, I respect that much more.
Way more. And so he said to the Lord, he goes, I don't care whether or not I ever see what the
word says. I'll still preach it. I'll still teach it regardless because the word is true. And even
if I can't accomplish what it says, the word is still true. Amen. And I think that's the problem. A lot of people who believe like this, like healing God heals,
if he wills it, um, they're not reading their Bible. No, they're, they're reading books about
the Bible or they're reading commentaries or they're just going attending on a Sunday. Right. Yeah. And so they're not, you know, digging in to truth.
And what does the Bible say about this?
They're just relying on, instead of taking ownership of their faith,
they were just relying on other people.
Yeah.
They don't look at like with James,
it says a man that is double-minded will receive nothing.
Like they never look at that scripture
because he's tossed to and fro like a wave.
Yep, nothing.
And so like that scripture is there to teach you something
and to help you to not be double-minded,
to evaluate yourself.
Am I double-minded?
Do I say one thing with my mouth
and believe another thing in my heart?
Kenneth Hagin, I love it. And I've said this to people a lot of times.
People beat themselves up about not having faith or enough faith or the God kind of faith.
Well, don't beat yourself up.
Just get to the level that you're seeing the result.
But he even says, you know, like you can have faith in your heart and doubt in your head. It's what do you say
to your head? The heart is what God looks at and he determines whether or not you have the faith
to believe what his word says. Now your head is going to, that's where Satan gets in there. That's
where we're warned against our imagination. Satan's going to come against you and he's going to make
you believe everything you're believing with your heart can't come to pass.
But that's when you fight it back with the word.
That's where having word knowledge like Jesus did.
Every single time Satan came against him, he used the word against him. Even when Satan used a little bit of the word, Jesus used all of the word against him, knowing it to be able to fight it.
But Kenneth Hagin says when um, when Satan would come
against him in his head, he would just sit there and go, okay, well, you guess what? Now it's,
I'm up in the game. Now it's going to be this, like when Satan was trying to make him not speak
in tongues, like he spoke in tongues and he was like, I'm going to dedicate an hour to you, Lord.
I'm going to speak in tongues for an hour. And he said the first 15 minutes, he thought he was done.
He thought it was the hour. And he looked and he went, oh gosh, it's 15 minutes.
Only 15 minutes have gone by. Then it was like, he tried, he was like, okay, let's get back on this.
Only five minutes had passed. It was 20 minutes. Satan was coming against him. He was like, you
can't do an hour. You can't do an hour. He's like, okay, you know what? I'm not going to just do the
hour. Now I'm going to do two, you know? And then Satan came against him. You can't do two.
He's like, I'm not only going to do two.
Now I'm going to do three.
I'm going to subject my flesh, and I'm going to come against you.
And so that's we as believers.
That's what we have to take.
We have to take the fight to our minds and say, I'm not submitting to you.
And devil, shut your mouth.
You are not going to rule and reign.
And there are times when I'm fasting I'm like you know I don't know if I can just I don't know
if I can just do another day this week like if I can just make it to 6 o'clock
you know what that would be good if I go to 6 o'clock that would be good that's
that's still good fasting and then I like, what are you talking about?
And I can't tell you how many times this happens to me.
I'm like, what are you talking about?
No, I've committed to the Lord this time.
And I don't care what my mind is saying.
I'm beating my flesh.
Because that's when the fast is the fast,
is when you have to beat the flesh and the carnal nature.
If I give in to that, I've just lost the whole thing. but it does, it comes against you. And that's when you have to
say, no way, no way. Can't tell you how many times I wanted to quit because I was starving.
Yeah. Yeah. That's a real, that's a real thing when you're fasting, but then it translates over
into when like you start getting like upset with people and then you're like, no, like I'm not,
no. So it's like that, that, whatever that like muscle reflex, whatever it is, when you're
fasting and you tell your flesh, no, I'm not eating.
That's just the reality of today.
I made a promise to God.
And then in other areas of your life, when you want to like freak out, you're like, no,
it's that same like, like pull back, you know?
Because you sit there and go, if there's a financial situation i was just telling
jara there there was something that i was believing for yeah that i was gonna have to have the funds
for next month yeah and i was like i kept saying i kept saying every day i'm a kenneth hagan junkie
i'm a groupie if you want to know the god's honest truth if the man was still alive, I might be sitting in the front row listening to every word he says.
Just because everything he says is Bible, Bible, Bible, Bible.
It's not his opinion.
It's either life experience, good or bad, to learn from, or just the word.
And so I remember he said when he was going through situations where he was standing in faith for money,
the Lord gave him good instruction.
But one of the things he would say with the good instruction is,
Satan, take your hands off my money.
So I do every day, multiple times a day I tell the Satan to get his hand off
of our money my me and Tom's money our homes our personal finances and then I
tell him to take his hands off the church's finances every single day yeah
I'm not praying for God to do something he's already said he's going to do I'm
telling Satan to stop and thwart his plan of what he's trying to keep from
happening just like with Daniel when Daniel was praying and then God sent the answer immediately. And then a couple chapters later, I think it's
the next chapter he's praying and it's the 21 day fast. And when finally Gabriel comes to him with
the message, he's like, I, I had the answer right when you prayed, I've been fighting the Prince of
Persia, which is Satan. And Michael had to come in
and he had to,
Michael the angel,
the fighting angel,
had to come and help me
to get through
to be able to give you the answer.
That's what we're fighting against.
It's spiritual warfare.
Satan, get your hands off my money.
So I get this email,
which I wasn't going to open
because I was like,
I thought it was junk mail.
It actually wasn't.
I get this email
and it says, I have until next year.
Saint, get your hands off my mind.
Amen.
I got till next year and we'll see how that all plays out.
Yeah, absolutely.
But right now I'm standing on something big for the church with the insurance.
And today something happened and I don't
know it might open the floodgates it might not but Satan get your hands off
because the insurance stuff needs to be done yeah it has to be finished
narrow is the road right but the the things when you walk that narrow road
what you get in return far exceeds what the broad road is going to give you
absolutely by a mile galatians 519 through 21 and the amplified classic is going to tell you what
sin is and those are the things on the narrow road you just can't do that's the broad road
anything that's sin and you guys can add to it if you want to but it says now the doings which is
practices of the flesh are are clear, obvious.
They are immorality, impurity, and decency.
So here's the sin.
Idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger, which is ill temper, selfishness, divisions, dissensions, party spirit, faction sex with particular opinions or heresies.
That's the party spirit.
Envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like.
I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously,
that those who do such things
shall not inherit the kingdom of heaven.
I just gave you a list.
Do you do those things?
Do you do one of those things on that list?
If you do just one of those things on the list
and you allow it to be a lifestyle in who you are on a day-to-day
basis or maybe once a week or whatever, you have made a relationship with that sin and you're not
giving it up, guess what? I hope it's worth heaven to you because you're not going. That's just the
facts. I don't care what anybody tells you. Narrow is the way.
Few there be that find it.
But broad is the road to destruction is another scripture.
1 Corinthians 6, 9 through 20 in the New Living Translation says,
this is another that talks about the different sins.
Don't you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the kingdom of God?
Don't fool yourselves.
I love that.
Because most people are fooling themselves.
They're a fool. They're believing somebody, whether it be their pastor who won't say anything from the pulpit or their friends who they believe are good or solid believers telling them everything's
okay. You're being fooled and you're foolish because you should be in the word knowing what
the word says. It's your responsibility whether you go to heaven or not.
Not the pastor's responsibility, although he will be heavily judged.
But still, don't fool yourselves.
Those who indulge in sexual sin or who worship idols or commit adultery.
And worship idols is not like a golden calf.
It's maybe a football player or an athlete or a singer or an artist of some sort that you know more about than
you know about Jesus Christ himself. If you are like that, then maybe it's you. You worship you.
And that's a very dangerous thing because a lot of people love themselves more than they love
and making sure that they're happy all the time. They're very self-indulged. Or commit adultery or male prostitutes or practice
homosexuality or are thieves or greedy people or drunkards or are abusive or cheat people.
None of these will inherit the kingdom of God. Some of you were once like that. That talks about
being saved. Some of you were once like that, but you were cleansed and you were made holy and you
were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the spirit of God.
So you've turned away from that or you turned away from your sin. Now that doesn't mean that
you can't go back to it though. You can't because Hebrews clearly says you can. This is a great one.
Revelation 22, 13 through 15, Amplified Classic. Evaluate yourself. Is this you? If these things are you, you're not on the narrow road.
You're on the broad road.
All you got to do is admit it and fix it.
It's not hard.
I am the alpha and the omega, the first and the last, the before all and the end of all.
That is the very first verse, 13.
That's all in one verse.
I am the alpha, which is the beginning and the end.
I am the alpha and the omega, the first and the last,
the before all and the end of all.
So before anything was around
and at the end of everything that exists, he is it.
Blessed, happy, and to be envied
are those who cleanse their garments,
that they may have
authority and right to approach the tree of life and to enter through the gates into the city,
which is heaven. That's what it's referring to. Verse 15 says, but without are the dogs and those
who practice sorcery, which is magic arts, and impurity, the lewd and adulterers, and the murderers and the idolaters,
and everyone who loves and deals in, this is very important, make sure this is not you,
falsehoods, which is untruths, errors, deception, and cheating.
If you do those things for whatever reason you do them,
you're not inheriting the kingdom of heaven.
If you struggle with sin,
it is one thing versus living in sin. Christians live like this all the time though. And I say this
all the time that there are so many Christians that believe they're on the narrow road while
they're on the broad. They have deceived themselves. And it's as simple as saying you're sorry,
getting your life right with God,
fixing it and going in the opposite direction
of whatever sin or sins you're operating in.
It is not hard.
It is not hard, but I will tell you this
because I know people personally right now
who are dealing with this,
that so many times here at the church, and I'm sure you girls have I know people personally right now who are dealing with this that, you know, so many times here at the church.
And I'm sure you girls have heard it, too, because of Abide.
Right.
You can put yourselves on.
So how often do you hear before I came to this church or before I came to Abide?
I didn't even know.
I don't even know if I was saved.
We hear this all the time.
Yeah.
I don't even know if I was saved because I didn't really know what the Bible said, but I was living in sin.
And I've been going to church all my life.
Yeah.
And I didn't know.
I'm taken aback by that.
Yeah.
Okay.
So do you guys hear that?
Yes.
Yes.
As like soon as like yesterday.
Yeah.
Literally.
Yeah. You're kidding me. Yeah, literally. Yeah.
You're kidding me.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Somebody told that to you guys yesterday? Well, not in those words, but they are newer to Foundation Church
and they are struggling with like fear and with like all of these other things
where they just have not been taught.
Yeah.
They don't know their identity in Christ.
They don't know the promises of God. They don't, they just, not been taught. Yeah. They don't know their identity in Christ. They don't know the promises of God.
They don't, they just, they lack foundation.
No pun intended.
Yeah.
But.
Literally.
So.
Yeah.
Before coming, did they go to church before coming here?
Yes.
Yes.
Sure did.
Because the people that I'm thinking about grew up in church all their life. Yes. Sure did. Because the people that I'm thinking about grew up in church all their life.
Yes.
And when they came here, they were like, I mean, they felt the spirit.
They felt the Holy Spirit.
Yeah.
But their lifestyle, they were like, it was bad.
We didn't, like, we weren't going to heaven.
Yeah.
I'm like, oh, my gosh.
They're like, thank God we found it.
They were like, we would have died and went straight to hell
because they were living, they were like getting drunk all the time,
almost every day.
Didn't think a lick about being deceptive or lying, even gossiping.
Gossiping was nothing, nothing for them.
Right.
And now what these people are dealing with is,
and I made a list because I was thinking of them
while I was making this list.
What happens is when you turn from the broad road,
which we all know in this room,
and I point to Heather who's sitting to my left,
which would be your right.
What happens is as soon as you decide to no longer be on the
broad road and all of your friends that are saved, and I say that in quotes, as soon as you decide to
do that, this is what you're going to come up against. And we all know this because we've all
been there. Now people are going to think you're crazy. People literally think you have gone off your rocker that was my second
one they think you're in a cult yeah they think you're hyper religious yeah right like you're
like you don't need to you don't need to be at this extreme right and you walk with the lord
i know heather goes it's not that extreme but they think. Heather goes, it's not that extreme. I know. It really isn't.
But they think it is because they absolutely have no walk.
All the while, they think that they do.
Right.
Now they think you're judgmental.
You're unloving.
You're closed-minded.
And now you're all the phobics that are out there that you used to be like.
Open-minded is not the right word.
It's more like you embraced. You kind of had compassion for you.
What is it when like, it's not compromise, but tolerant.
God bless you.
You were tolerant to it.
And you didn't give anybody much trouble over it
because you could understand where they're coming from.
Understanding where somebody's coming from and embracing it.
It's two different things.
Totally two different things.
Yeah, absolutely.
And that's what has become in the Christian church.
We now embrace the sin and tolerate it all in the name of love because Jesus is love.
That's very dangerous.
Very dangerous.
So Matthew 5, 11 through 13, when this is happening to you and you have, you're walking
the narrow road, right? And you've decided
you're not turning back and you'll leave all those people behind because that's a tough thing, man.
It is a tough thing and it can be lonely. Not if you're a foundation church though,
because if you're a foundation church, there is no way you could be lonely. You just got to plug in
and you'll have more people that are like you
or that you're wanting to be like than you need.
In fact, you might be like, this is too much.
Probably.
To a certain extent.
Yeah, for sure.
Verse 13 says,
Blessed, happy to be envied,
because I'm doing the Amplify classic.
Happy to be envied and spiritually prosperous.
Blessed, spiritually prosperous.
That's what that means.
Love it.
Isn't that awesome?
With life, joy, and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation,
regardless of your outward conditions.
That's what that blessed is right there.
So good.
Gosh, man.
I love the Amplify classic.
Oh, my gosh.
Are you when people revile you and persecute you
and say all kinds of evil things against you falsely on my account,
you've gone off your rocker.
You're going too far with this religious thing.
Them as a Christian are telling you you're taking Christianity too far.
How is that possible?
Then that's saying Jesus took, I mean, do they look like Jesus?
Probably not.
So how are you taking Jesus too far because you're going to,
looking like him as close as you possibly can?
Makes no sense to me whatsoever.
Or you're in a cult.
Yeah.
Be glad and supremely joyful for your reward in heaven is great.
That word great is strong and intense.
For in the same way people persecuted the prophets who were before you.
You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, its strength, its quality,
how can its saltiness be restored?
It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men. Let that not be us.
Let us be the salt of the earth.
This is what I put.
Be salt, and most won't like it.
But you know what?
God will love and he'll honor you for it,
and long life will you get an eternity with him.
And for me, say what you want to say about me.
Call my friends, whatever you want to call my friends.
But when I go to heaven, I'll be with them,
and hopefully you'll make it.
That's how I feel about them.
But words can only hurt you if you let them.
So say what you want to say, do what you want to do,
but at the end of the day, I'm going to chase after him and holiness 100%.
And hopefully you will too because narrow is the way,
and it's that serious.
You guys want to add anything to that?
That's good.
Yeah.
That's really good.
I think what I love about Foundation Church is that what separates us from all the other
churches is that we, as a body, we equip each other.
And we encourage each other to like take ownership like there's
so many times where pastor tom is like you know go study it out for yourself you know and then
then bring it to me i will admit i'm wrong but like go like take ownership and i think a lot
we have all these big churches and what are they do? They're, they're filling their, their services with at the movies,
they're filling their services with fluff and they're not equipping the body.
Yeah.
And I think that's what separates us from many is that,
yes,
we are a church and we come together every Sunday,
but we're,
we're,
we're in,
um,
we're equipping the saints.
Iron sharpening iron.
And there's something to be said about, oh, yeah.
We're honest about the narrow way.
Like we're not, none of us say like,
this is gonna be so simple.
Like we say, like you gotta choose your heart.
Like it's hard to live a life being drunk all the time
and waking up and feeling terrible.
And it's hard when you have to say no to friends
that you've had to be around all the time and it's a new walk. It's just, you're choosing your heart. And,
and you specifically pulled that out on that early verse about the difficult road. Like,
there's, it's okay that things are difficult. Like you're the winner every single time you're
going to win. So who cares if it's a little bit hard? Like we get so soft when we talk about this
all the time, but like, it's okay if it's a little bit challenging. Be excited.
Embrace the challenge.
And then when you, like, overcome a challenge, you're like, yes.
Like, I did that, you know?
Yeah, I passed the test.
I passed the test.
Come on.
Exactly. And there's something sweet about winning.
There is.
Winning's fun.
But you know what?
I find winning is fun.
Winning is fun.
It really is.
It is.
I, you know, I find that, like, of people like, and we hear this a lot, like we're widely
hated by a lot of so-called believers and Christians and stuff.
What did you say?
They're jealous.
They're really jealous. I think one of the reasons I mean we I don't I say that we're hated and it doesn't bother me a bit
that we're hated. But I think it bothers these people that it doesn't bother us that we're
hated. I truthfully I truthfully think that it bothers them because the thing is is they care
more about what people think. That's the reason why they serve god the way they serve god it's because they can't stand the heat they can't stand
not being in the in the in what's considered the popular crowd like that what what um
the modern christianity the the thing that's most, they can't stand not being in that vein
because it will keep them from doing the things they want to do first and foremost, but then it
would put them on the outside of the ones that they love more than they love serving Jesus himself.
And so for us, all of us, we sit there and go, I really don't care. It's his way or no way. And people don't
like that because there's a confidence behind just being confident in and of yourself is if I
have to do this by myself, then I'll do it by myself because he's worthy. And if all leave me, still I will follow.
Yeah, absolutely.
Because I've decided to follow Jesus.
And so I don't think people, that's how the man that,
the guy that wrote I Have Decided to Follow Jesus,
well, he didn't write that song.
The man that he took the words from won a whole tribe
because he lost all of his family and he lost his
own life because he chose God over his own tribe. And by that, the chief is saved and the tribe is
saved because of the strong stand that they took or his family and him took for Jesus. And that's what people don't like. Yeah, it's true.
They just don't like it. I think they don't like it because they don't have the fortitude and
they're maybe what Heather's just said. I kind of laugh at it, but maybe they are jealous because
they don't have what it takes to do that. Yeah. So that's maybe where the hatred comes from,
along with they think that we think we're better than other people. I don't think that I'm better than anybody. Outside of him, I'm nothing. I understand that. But with him,
I'm everything. And you can't stop me. And that bothers people because they don't understand
who they are in Christ. And that makes them unstoppable. That what anybody else says or
does around them has no effect on you yeah you just keep trucking absolutely
and that's hard for people you got to add anything else to it that was good that's a that was a mic
drop amen and with that if you don't know him i'm gonna segue because that's a good segue. But I seriously mean it. Like if you don't
know him or if you did and you want to be like us as far as not like us, but if you like what you
see and you sit there and go, I wish I had that. I cannot tell you how many times people have said
to me, I wish that I had the self, uh, um, uh, confidence, the self-confidence that you do.
I wish I had that.
Well, it's easy to get because the reason I am confident is because I know who I am in Christ.
And that makes me very confident.
You can have it.
It's simple.
It is such an easy thing to get.
And all it takes is opening up the word of God to all the right verses.
And you start getting puffed up.
You know that there is nothing that you can't win.
And there's nothing that can defeat you.
You will beat everything, every single time that comes against you.
I mean, it's just a game changer. Or if you've never known
him before, if you've known him and walked away, or if you've never known him before, today's your
day, like new life, new opportunities. And again, I always say this, but I sit there and go, I mean,
I know Vanessa feels like this for sure. Like you just want to pinch yourself because life is so good. You just can't imagine growing up like you did and the family
like you did. And now having the life that you have and the family that you have, you sit there
and go, it's outside of God. This is not possible. Life is just can't be this good. 100%. Yeah.
And we're no different.
And Tracy, I know, like, life's been hard for you too.
Like, none of us in this room, including Heather,
Taya's not had it that hard, but, I mean, she's 18,
and she never will have it that hard.
Praise the Lord.
She never will because she grew up in a fantastic home.
But all of us but Taya really, to to a big extent have probably gone through a
lot of what people are watching have gone through and we just sit there and go how is this possible
but without outside of god it's not possible you you don't get the life yeah that doesn't mean that
everything goes right every single day but what that means is you don't go it alone and you know that it's all
going to be okay. Like you have the peace to know that this isn't that big of a deal. God will figure
it out for me. It's going to be okay. And then you just go on about your biz. But a lot of people
don't get to live like that. And you can. So say this prayer with me right now and let's just,
let's make you a part of the team Jesus.
I know that sounds corny, but it is true.
Heavenly Father, I come to you right now.
I thank you for all that you did on the cross.
I thank you for coming to earth.
I thank you for sacrificing yourself.
I thank you for dying on the cross for my sins.
I ask you to forgive me of my sins.
And I will live for you forever.
Whatever you tell me to do, I will do.
Whatever you tell me to go, I will go.
From this moment on, show me and guide me in the direction that you would have me go to do your will and the
calling you have on my life. In Jesus' mighty name we pray. Amen. If you said that prayer,
we can send you a Bible. We can help get you started. But seriously, find out what God wants
you to do with your life and then start fulfilling that and that'll radically change everything for you that's the beginning and but uh but most
importantly whatever direction you were headed in go the opposite so whatever
sin you were living in or sins for me it was multiple there's multiple sins so I
had to turn from all of them and And he'll start showing you them, and you just start getting rid of them day to day, every day.
We will see you on Friday.
We're going to have Natalie.
That's going to be fun.
Oh, my gosh.
Listen, if you never watched Natalie, or you've never, she's been on the podcast twice before.
It is, like, she's so stinking smart, but she's so great. And like, there is not one question
you can't ask that if she doesn't know it, she'll find out the answer, but she knows most everything.
And there's some, there's some, uh, do you want to tell the one that we're going to talk about
that we're going to ask the question about that I think is going to be super popular.
Amazing. Yes. So I'm, I, I'm personally very excited because all this stuff I see constantly on my
news feed or my For You page. But the first question is about the weight loss shot Ozempic.
So the semi-gluten, semi-gluten, something like that, that everybody is talking about. And there's
pros and cons to it. People are losing a ton of weight, but also it's new to the market. So I'm curious what her insights are going to be on that.
Very interesting.
Yeah.
I know you sent me some of the questions, but I didn't get to read all of them.
But that one is super popular because there are a lot of people who want to lose weight,
and they just don't know about it.
Oh, it's semi-glutide.
Semi-glutide, yeah.
Thank you, Sarah.
Yeah.
That's enough. Even from afar, Sarah is helping us.
I know, of course.
Listen, we're not medical professionals.
We never claim to be.
It's ozempic, okay?
It's ozempic, yeah.
Gotta love her.
She's laughing at us from home, Sarah.
Oh, because whatever we said was probably something really bad.
Probably.
We don't know what we're talking about.
I'm glad I didn't.
I'm glad I didn't.
Oh,
yeah.
That,
whatever that is.
Lots of good questions.
There are very interesting questions.
Yeah.
There's really good stuff.
So tune in.
And then if you have one,
like this is free advice.
I know.
Free medical like questions you can do and she loves
the lord so it's coming from like how pastor tom loves the lord and talks about politics she loves
the lord and talks about medical stuff and like to be able to find those two realms like who trusts
anybody that's a lawyer in politics or in the medical field not this girl not this girl when
you start finding your people it's like
a breath of fresh air
it is
as Vanessa would say
your tribe
your tribe
when you find your tribe
find your tribe
and love them well
okay
welcome home
and I'm gonna
and now
I'm gonna have to
swallow the vomit
that's in my throat
