Welcome to the Hope Hotline, all is well here in the sunny state of Florida.
I'm depressed to say that Peace Be Still did not work.
Yeah, that was, yep.
Instead of, it was chaos and pandemonium.
It was fine for me.
Shut up.
Oh my gosh.
Oh my gosh.
Shut up.
It felt like a normal day.
Everybody has power except for the light police.
We do now.
You do now, yeah.
But, like, everybody had power.
People are texting, you doing good?
I'm like, yeah, we're doing great.
I mean, it's pretty normal.
In our neighborhood, if the wind blows like that, no electric.
Power's out.
It's true.
Yeah.
The dumb thing was is everybody did their laundry and i'm the last one and i get through my first load and my second isn't this is two o'clock in
the afternoon nothing's going on right and all of a sudden boom yeah yeah second load full of water. I'm sorry.
Yeah.
Shut up, Vanessa.
I lost power too.
No way.
Two hours.
Oh, shut up.
We just got it back about two hours ago.
The power went out and there was like a glimmer in Jeff's eyes that I've never seen before.
He was about to die, wasn't he?
No, he was so excited.
He was like, I get to do all the survival things that I've been training for up until this point.
Which is what?
Pull out the generator and start hooking things up?
He had gas ready.
He was like, we're doing this.
We're surviving.
Two hours later, he was up again.
He was like, well.
That's fine.
At least you did that.
I am on the hand. You know, it was up again. He was like, well. That's fine. At least you did that. I, on the other hand, this is, you know, this is so sad.
Nick, first of all, Tom came to do the podcast.
So he left the house pretty early.
And he was like, I probably shouldn't have left because it was so bad.
And Norma came home early because I was like, it's getting bad.
Because our neighbor right along the Myakka River.
So there are certain areas coming in and out of our house
and in and out of our neighborhood that flood.
And it floods bad.
Yeah, it does.
And so I was like, you better get home.
So she took Tom's truck, just girl smart,
takes Tom's or now Tommy, black truck to the church.
And she can't get, she's like, I'm scared.
Somebody's got to come and drive this thing into the neighborhood.
I'm scared.
So Tom goes to get on his bike,
because he's going to come and rescue Norma, right?
Goes to get on his bike, and by now we have no power, right?
So the tires are flat on his bike.
And his manual, somebody broke the manual pump.
Oh, no.
That made him happy.
Yeah, no.
Apparently, well, we weren't thinking generator.
The wind is blowing.
It's raining.
So we're like, we're not going to turn on the generator just yet.
So we have no compressor.
So he's like, I said, well, what I'm going to do is I'm going to drive you down there
to where you can not ride your bike anyway.
Right.
And then you're just going to.
She decides.
She's like, OK, I'm going to be brave.
She is shaking like a leaf.
And she knew it was bad.
She even took a picture.
She's like i
don't know if we should be going through this and maybe i should just go back tom's like come on
down you're fine he goes to leave the neighborhood like 15 minutes later after she comes he's like i
shouldn't have told her to go he's like she was right if i had known he's like it was it was bad
it was coming up over the top of the truck.
Our truck, that is an F-250.
Yes.
It was that high in our neighborhood.
Yeah.
Not good.
Not good.
Not good at all.
So then we decided to go on a stroll.
Yes, you did.
Which if you look at Norma's Instagram page, which I'm begging you, please don't.
I shouldn't have even suggested that.
Oh, just keep it on mute.
Don't listen to it.
Yeah.
So, not because there's cussing.
It's just Norma being Norma.
Which, in some cases, is not always the greatest.
But not horrible.
Just not great.
So, we go on the stroll.
And, man, like our our neighbors one of our neighbors
they just they have no insurance on their house right no it's a wood frame home they're an older
couple and they the last storm in blew their roof back like three feet just the roof is still on
it blew it back three feet. Oh, my gosh.
So one of the neighbors is a roofer.
So he's like, you know what I'm going to do, bud?
I'm going to do this.
I'm going to get everything.
I'm going to do it for you for nothing.
It took them forever to get back into that house and living.
And when we walked past there, I'm like, you guys good?
And they're like, because it's up to our thighs and to their house.
They had four inches before it was getting into their house.
Well, I know because when I drove past there this morning when I was leaving the neighborhood,
it was in their house because the storm surge hadn't even really hit yet.
This was like at, I think, six o'clock when we were walking.
Oh, my gosh.
And storm surge was bad at 10 because my chickens nearly died.
I literally, yeah, I had to take them out their coop.
I had just, I went out to check on them because everything's underwater.
Right.
Because of the lake in the back, the pond we have in the backyard.
Water was almost intruding into Heather's garage.
My chickens, their coop was floating.
And it was almost into their house.
I pulled them out, and then it was.
It literally had, like, two hours later, it had water in it.
But it's just, like, some areas, it's nothingness.
But it just depends on where you live right you know that's any like venice the island of venice if i'm sorry for those that
don't live in the area but yeah like venice island my sister's best friend said i've lived here for
20 years never seen anything like no flooding never experienced this karen was telling me that one of her employees was on the island and had four feet of water in his house because they have a big
picture window and the pressure from the water up against the picture window broke it and all the water came flooding into this house.
It's just devastating. I mean, I
and then we have a family in a
church that we just found
out like is
in bad shape
or their house is in bad shape.
People are coming to the rescue.
It's great to have a good
church, but
I mean you just sit there and go, man, oh, man.
Until you've gone through it, you just don't know.
I know.
It's true.
Yeah.
A couple other people that I know, their houses were flooded that attend the church.
Oh, wow.
And they were like, you know what?
It'll be all right.
Right.
Yeah.
And that's how you have to take it. I mean,
I think me and Tracy did the same thing. We got mad at the insurance companies, but
you're just like, you know what? God will take care of it. I'm not going to worry about this.
It'll be better than it was before. And it always is. Always. Always is. Like,
I'm not going to say that. I mean, my house is better than it was. You know, it is because God makes sure of it.
But would I go through that again?
I hope I never go through that again.
Same.
It's not that it's not worth it.
It's just not worth it.
Yeah, no.
It's not.
I mean, you just know God's going to turn and work it for your good.
But through the process, the insurance companies are not good people at all.
So I have such compassion for the people who are today having to pick up a lot of pieces and massive aftermath.
What's the name of that?
So Tracy and Jer have a restoration company. And what's that name of that so tracy has a restore tracy and jare have a restoration company and
what's that company called so we have uh leak heroes that does leak leak detection and then
we did dry heroes to dry out and we're just simply drying out right now so do you have a lot of
people obviously you don't need leak hero because you have what you know if you have water or not right right
yeah so now your guys are now trying to help so it's dry hero leak hero is for people who have
like if they can't find a leak in their house and then you go and find it for them right correct
yep yep if you haven't like i had you guys come out for my house though to indicate where water
was for the insurance company and you did that also for the church because actually is helping us fight the insurance company to prove that we have yeah
water behind walls right which a lot of people mean you can't see it right yeah especially if
cabinets and stuff are there right that's why you got to have leak here right that's why reports
will prove that it wasn't somebody like throwing water on a carpet by getting it wet. Like it's coming from a pipe, usually underground. And a lot of people don't
want to do a lot of demolition. So we'll come in and we'll listen with listening devices or
Jair will like smell it. He knows exactly where it is now. And then he'll come. I know it's,
he just, his brain just knows like probably, I mean, you do things so much for so many years,
you figure it out, but he'll be able to spot it.
And then usually like a 12 by 12 tile, they'll usually be able to chip just that out if it's underground because they know exactly the right sound.
The exact where it's at.
Yeah.
So that helps with, you know, putting your house back together too.
Now that's when you just have like a pipe leak or a gas leak.
We can find those too.
But this is a totally different obviously you know where the
water came from this isn't a yeah but a leak but and for some of our cases like even with your
house we had to prove that it was behind walls yeah yeah i had to prove that yep yeah of course
to be able to get them to replace the walls that sometimes because sometimes it's your paint that
yeah starts sliding and they'll be like oh okay But then you really got to prove after that how far it goes, which really helps.
But in this case, so Dry Heroes, what's the name of the company in Fort Myers that you guys work with?
What's the name of that company?
Devoted Restoration.
Devoted.
Now, I say this because you guys are Christian companies.
Christian companies.
That's a big deal.
Not every Christian company is a good company.
True.
But you have a better chance of it being a good company if it's a big deal. Not every Christian company is a good company. True. But you have a better chance of it being a good company
if it's a Christian company.
Absolutely.
So devoted, what is it?
Devoted restoration.
And they're only really in Fort Myers,
so they're not coming up here too much.
They're going to be helping down there.
And then their customers, maybe if they have them.
I know there's one in Punta Gorda they're working on this morning.
We have people who actually watch from down there.
That's one of the reasons why.
Because if they're in need or if they have a friend that needs help,
I mean, obviously, they can call you guys.
But if there's somebody further south, that's a big deal.
And you can email us, too, at askhopeathopehotline.com
if you have any questions.
And I can probably send you the right person.
Even if it's not us um we can help you guys yeah and the thing is is what what we're
very blessed at this church because we have really good plumbers really good electricians
really good like people who know how to do fix it jobs and things like that the guy that fixed my My mom's house was phenomenal. Yeah. Like top notch guy.
Yeah.
And like her house, when it was done, now she didn't have insurance, so she paid out
of pocket.
Right.
But he was really reasonable.
And when it was all said and done, like, holy crap.
The meticulous care that he did.
I love it.
I know.
Most people aren't like that.
No.
But he's old school.
Yeah.
And he ain't old.
He's like my age. Oh, wow. Okay. Yeah. But I've known him before I knew it. I know. Most people aren't like that. But he's old school. Yeah. And he ain't old. He's like my age.
Oh, wow.
Okay.
Yeah.
But I've known him before I knew Tom.
Oh, wow.
Yeah.
He's a contractor that I knew.
Interesting.
Isn't that?
So a lot of times if you need somebody good, just ask us.
Nine times out of ten, somebody knows somebody.
Yep.
Especially if you're new to the area.
I find like Florida is so transient that a lot of people don't know anybody
because they're brand new to the area.
And trusting somebody is...
You're moving from somewhere where you have a Rolodex, right?
Which, I'm aging myself.
But you'll have a Rolodex of all these names and numbers
of people that you've known throughout the years,
and they're trustworthy. Then you move to another area like i know people who go back home to get their
teeth taken care of to get their medical stuff they will not go to anybody new because
it's too sketched for them they have their doctor they have their dentist some people i've even
known only go back to get their hair done by the person they had their hair done. I'm not kidding. No, I do. But
that's not that's because it's my sister in law. But I get it. Like, I think I still would. Because
I trust her. I trust that when I'm like, I just want a little trim. They're not like, well, we're
just gonna cut it all off. Because I know it's hard times. So yeah. I know. I get it. Yeah. Like, for me, like, I've been with Jolene now.
Right.
I don't know, five plus years.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I can't see myself.
Not that I don't trust somebody else.
I might, but, like.
But she knows you.
Yeah.
She knows Tom.
Right.
Yeah.
And that helps.
There you go.
Because she's like, I know he won't like this.
But she doesn't do it.
Right.
Whereas some people are like, eh. Whatever. whatever let's just you know what i'm saying so it's like knowing your person right really pays off from your hair too so if you've moved here that's why i say if
you moved here and then you really need some work done a lot of times it's like tough yeah so um
but i'm glad that thing is out of here i wish my prayer i wish i would had the
faith that i know that i have sometimes but i will not change yeah i was hoping it really was
i was like it can totally happen and then we'll be like woohoo yeah so i don't know it's yeah
and you know what's so so beautiful is and this is like, do you know who was calling Tom last night to make sure we were all okay?
Not just us.
Not just Tom and I.
But the church and our people.
Pastor Rodney.
Of course.
I mean, what a great man.
He is.
Oh, my gosh.
He really is.
I think Tom said just before the podcast started,
he called him up and said, hey, I wanted to check on you guys,
see how everybody's doing there.
I know.
Did they get hit pretty hard over there?
Well, Tampa on the Bay did.
Right.
But if you were inland, like Arcadia is to us.
Arcadia really didn't feel anything, right?
Yeah.
Even like Northport, parts of Northport.
The further inland you were, you were pretty much okay that's deep creek yeah we did great like yeah i think jamie peck was saying
that they did pretty good crystal said they did good i talked to her today and she said the church
is fine yeah so the further inland you were better off you were right because that storm surge was
but she said that else she she said that i think it was jam Jamie that said that it was worse if you were on the water.
For sure.
Which, it's the surge.
That's what it really was.
It wasn't wind.
It wasn't rain.
There was very little rain.
No, yeah.
Very little.
I mean, we were standing outside and it's raining.
And I was totally like, I mean, I looked a hot mess.
But I wasn't like going, holy moly, I'm getting drenched.
It stinks, too, because I feel like it's like the little boy that cries wolf.
Like they talk about storm surge every single time.
And then it ends up being like nothing if it's not a direct impact, you know, like this
wasn't a, this was way off the coast for us and it was terrible.
So I could have no, I like, I'm like you, right.
Tracy, I'm not kidding you.
I'm exactly like you. I'm, I'm more or less, I've heard you. Tracy, I'm not kidding you. I'm exactly like you.
I'm more or less, I've heard storm surge for 20 plus years.
I've lived in Florida almost my whole entire life.
Right, right.
14 years I didn't, but pretty much.
I'm 57.
Right, that's a long time.
Almost all my life I've lived here.
And I was saying to Tracyacy i find it very strange and the last several years we've never
had really bad hurricane seasons after august all of a sudden we get these wacko storms coming out
of mexico yeah yeah i have my theories i have my theories there's have my theories. There's another one. Me and you guys' theories don't always line up.
But in this case, I think we're...
It's an election year.
It's an election year.
It's close to election.
Well, plus...
Plus...
I was talking to my mom about this.
And I think my mom is right.
I think it's my mom that was saying I think my mom is right. Okay.
I think it's my mom that was saying this to me.
Like they hate DeSantis.
They want people to move out of Florida.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I agree.
And so the harder they make it to live here for insurance and everything else.
Yeah.
Which they're doing it.
But the thing is,
they don't know us Floridians.
I know.
We're like,
like go look at Norma's story.
Yeah, what?
Go look at her Instagram story.
And go look at Tommy.
How about that?
You know what's so funny?
Because the weather people,
one of the things that I saw,
a lot of the weather people saying,
I think it was once we got our generator on
and I could actually watch TV and follow the storm.
They were saying how like Floridians, it might have been Tommy on YouTube, but how Floridians are kind of chill.
It's like one of the things they were like, they're eerily calm.
They're like, this doesn't even like, they're not all freaked out.
Everybody's very calm.
It's like, what else is there to be?
I mean, I guess if we want to be like them, drama and hype.
But what does that get you?
I mean, for them, it sells sponsorships and makes them money.
For us, we got nothing to gain.
So it's better, and biblically speaking,
it is better to be unmovable,
to be stable in all your ways,
to have faith and trust in the Lord.
And although I didn't see what I wanted to see,
I feel like it could have been way worse
if those winds would have been way worse along with that
surge it could have like right and it could just kept going up the coast like it it would have
like yes it hit that one area but if it went a little bit more and the eye of it hit all the
way up the coast can you imagine all of Florida from Naples all the way up if it stayed off the
coast I know it really could have been bad.
But you're going to have another opportunity because it looks like something's brewing in the exact same spot.
No way.
Yeah, there is.
No, I know.
They announced it.
No way.
It's like.
You are freaking kidding me.
I'm not.
And it's the same spot.
But I saw that it was headed like towards Texas now.
Okay.
Wait one minute.
In the Gulf.
It's in the Gulf somewhere.
It's down in Mexico, like the same spot. It's a little. It's just hanging out. In the Gulf. It's in the Gulf somewhere. It's down
in Mexico, like the same spot. It's a little
thing that's just hanging out.
October 4th. It's like waiting its turn.
They're saying it's October 4th at a land.
Yeah.
It can't hit Florida. We have our
Crave Night. Oh,
perfect. I'll be here.
We'll just be here. Even better.
Go to Texas. No, i'm just kidding oh my gosh
dissipate we're gonna do it this time we're gonna do it this time gosh we did it before we're gonna
do it again no there's like well isn't perry wasn't perry one of those another one after that
there's probably two more coming in the gulf just hanging out yeah so we'll we'll be able to
but it's still early like right. This is all forecasted.
Right.
But why?
Anything can happen.
I'm so sick of this.
This was never the case, guys.
Oh, I know.
I mean, I never have seen this like this.
I know.
I've lived here, I don't know, 10 plus years.
Yeah.
Half my life now.
Yep.
This is ridiculous.
Absolutely.
But I'm going to stay here.
I'm officially a Floridian. I do not claim my New York side. Right. Only when you go back. Only when I go back. That's because she so she can eat the food. Yeah, exactly. Come on. But I'm an official Floridian. So I'm not going anywhere. We're not evacuating. We're not, you know, we're just going to ride it. We're all just going to ride that pony. OK, so let me ask you this.
OK.
Like.
Look at that thing.
I want to know where that thing's going.
OK, I was literally.
I literally am right now.
OK, so Mike.
Mike's weather page is a guy that started.
He's been doing this 20 years, but he started doing as a hobby.
I was doing like a social media thing.
So now he's on like Fox News and stuff, but he's usually very reliable. He
lives in like North of Tampa. And so he put it out. He's like, I'm really sorry. I'm putting
this out. And he's like, no, please like keep us informed. Like we want to know what's going on.
Cause if it's there, it comes quicker than if it comes off the coast of Africa, obviously.
Yeah. So you have less time to get ready for something like this. But I did do my research. So I looked on my own radar and looked at the forecast of my own radar
just to see if it was like a prank, but it did show it creating and going up pretty much the
exact same path, but that was, it's forecasted. So things can change, obviously. This is just an assumption of low pressure and high pressure.
And so if Texas, it just, but it looked like a perfectly formed storm by October 4th in the forecast right here.
Like out in the Gulf?
Like landing right here.
Like not here?
Yeah, yeah.
Like here in Northport?
Yeah.
I mean,
it's,
it's huge again,
but like,
um,
I,
I have,
is that,
yeah,
that's it.
Okay.
That's going to literally hitting us through the state.
Also,
I'll show you the screenshot.
I'll,
I'll need a second,
but I'll put it.
That just really irritates the crap out of me.
And this is from my phone,
my thing.
I still don't really know how I pulled,
found the forecast, but this is from my phone, my thing. I still don't really know how I found the forecast.
This is really irritating.
It's really irritating.
I have so many things.
Okay.
That's really irritating.
I know it is.
So does anybody want to go on a long vacation away to Massachusetts? As long as there's snow.
No, there's no snow yet.
As long as there's leaves. As long as there's leaves.
Yeah, there will be leaves.
Do we all dip out and leave this
beautiful
state? I'm not dipping, but
I'm just getting a little irritated.
I'll leave while it's here.
It's just irritating.
Like, what the what?
So this one we're going to get. This one's going to dissipate. Let's just irritating. Like what the what? I know. So this one we're going to get,
this one's going to dissipate.
Let's do it.
Should we start praying and fasting now?
I already fast like crazy.
I fasted when I prayed over this.
Okay.
So that's Helene,
right?
No.
So the red line is what was,
that was last night.
I took the screenshot at 10 PM. Okay. So let me show it. Yeah last night i took the screenshot at 10 p.m okay
so let me show it yeah show it so i took the screenshot at 10 p.m last night because i saw
this video at the bottom you'll see saturday october 5th the red line that was the actual
hurricane last night okay this new one that's presenting itself is the new one that they're showing me. So this is the forecast at 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 5th.
And that's how big, that's like it.
That's what they're saying.
Well, where are we in that?
Blue dot.
Blue dot.
See that blue dot?
Yeah.
Okay.
So it's right there.
And it's going through the blue dot through Orlando is what the forecast is showing me.
Similar to Ian.
Right.
And how big is it?
Are they saying this one?
A cat fourth?
Are they?
Yeah.
Well, that's Helene.
That's Helene.
That's Helene.
Oh.
Yeah.
So this is just.
What are you doing over there?
She's excited.
This is why.
This is why people fear monger.
Okay. No, this this there is no information this is just a forecast that possibly is like what it could be on October 5th
like worst case scenario not even worst case scenario just what they think with low pressure
and high pressure and how they would forecast anything so but this is this is my phone my screenshot my weather app climb is what I how I found it
so yeah so that's kind of um frustrating and what happened was I might may or may not have
been doing some research last night on TikTok and a video came up and they're like well you're so
focused on Helene there's two more brewing right behind it.
Like right behind it.
So, yeah.
So just what we were
not looking forward to.
This is man-made.
I'm just going to say it.
I mean, thank you for breaking the silence.
Harp.
Okay.
Now we're totally getting kicked off.
She's saying whatever we're thinking.
Exactly.
This is insane.
Like, come on.
Well.
And why are they always a four?
And a five?
Right before they hit.
And why is it always us?
Why is it always us?
There's a
whole other side of Florida. A whole
other side. There's a whole other side of Texas
and Louisiana. There's also
just dissipate. Like just don't work out.
That too. Don't be perfectly
formed. I know the weather. I know the
water's hot. Blah, blah, blah.
Still.
No.
So. You really want to make me mad before. still. No. So,
um,
you really want to make me mad before.
So if you watch him on Facebook,
the prayer meeting.
Yeah.
This is like a week long Sunday.
Okay.
I'm not getting you get past her. Tom on it.
No.
We'll all join in.
Yeah.
Okay. We got some people agreeing that this is the government. So it's not fine. We're all on the same page. Okay, we got some people agreeing that this is the government.
So it's not fine.
We're all on the same page.
We're all conspiracy theorists.
Yes.
We're all on the same page.
It's not a conspiracy if it's true.
True.
Just saying.
This is like, I had no idea.
I know.
That's why I'm telling you.
Because we have to know things.
Right.
We have to be a step ahead.
I'm looking at my daughter.
Did you know another one is brewing out?
Yeah.
Yep.
See, she knows.
No.
It was too soon.
I know.
We have to be a step ahead of the government.
We do.
Yeah.
We do.

like
I'm sick of it
so time to war
I'm not going to. I know. So, time to war.
I'm not going to eat for five plus days.
Literally.
All week.
Next time you see me, I'll be half of myself.
So skinny.
Ozempic, I got you.
Yeah.
Just don't eat any food.
Yeah.
I got you. Until the next hurricane's over.
Gosh.
All right.
Let's just skip all the other stuff because we are now down to 30 minutes.
Let's do it.
Are we, we're starting with this, right?
Do you want to show this real quick?
Just what we've done so far?
God bless.
Okay.
Let's go.
You just.
See, I'm going to make you happy now.
I royally made you upset, but also informed you.
So now we're going to.
Sometimes being in the dark is really okay.
I know.
I hear you. You know what I'm saying? I'm like, I have never been happier to be in the dark is really okay. I know. You know what I'm saying?
I'm like, I've never been happier to be
in the dark sometimes.
Caneblas, you're right.
Still, you gotta do what you gotta do. I know.
I cannot believe this.
It's not gonna come, because we're gonna pray.
This one we've got. We've got this one.
Yeah.
People can't...
I know. I know. I know. This is not good for people. No, it's not. It's not. I just, people can't, this is like. I know. I know.
I know.
This is not good for people.
No, it's not.
It's not.
I know.
Okay.
So hard.
It's so like, it's so heart wrenching for me.
I know.
Like rip my heart out.
I know.
I know.
I know.
That's why it's like annoying.
I'm like, no.
Norma's saying hopefully it makes people leave Florida. We don't
want that. She's a Florida girl. You can't hear her and I'm glad you can. Okay. You go ahead and
you just tell us our seven most Googled questions. We're going to keep going past Norma. Let's do
that. Okay. So seven most Googled questions about God.
If you want to go back and watch the other previous episodes, you'll be able to find them pretty quickly.
It's the cover photo.
So one of the episodes that we did not too long ago was why does God allow suffering and evil?
Question number two, does life have a purpose?
And then the next episode was, is Christianity too narrow?
And then fourth question yesterday and, or sorry, Wednesday was four and five.
Can I know God personally?
And does God exist?
So we are moving on to six and seven, maybe.
Moving right along.
Moving right along.
We'll see what we get.
I think we're going to get the rest of these done.
Yeah, I think so.
The rest of these two done.
Not that we're rushing or anything.
Because we have another hurricane coming.
So what's the point?
I know.
Hello.
Thank you, Norma.
Norma goes, two.
Bless.
Don't you have something to do, child?
No, I finished my work.
Oh my gosh. Extra stuff to do child no i finished my work oh my gosh extra stuff to do because of that pretty little storm all right first question is jesus presented as god in the bible
you know i find this question i actually was like that's interesting i wonder if jesus was
presented as god in the bible i mean i know that there's there's specific scriptures but i was like, that's interesting. I wonder if Jesus was presented as God in the Bible. I mean, I know that there's specific scriptures, but I was like, how does it?
Because you read things so many times that you're like, I know that he is.
But what was better is scriptures that actually came from himself saying that he was God.
To me, when the man himself says it, or God says it,
that's way more like, what do you call that?
Ironclad, ingrained in stone, like something you can stand on.
When the person himself says that he is who he says he is,
then you're like, dang dang that's even better so
we're gonna go to john 10 30 and it says i and my father are one do you remember seeing that scripture
john 10 30 no i am yeah i am my father are one i'm like oh my gosh no i do not remember ever
reading that scripture i don't either john 1 1.1 says, in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
You know how many times I've read that scripture?
That's like my dad's favorite.
I never once did I look at it, and the Word was God.
Was God, right.
I know.
My dad's like, do you get that?
Do you hear that?
He loves that one.
When I hear that verse, I always think, oh, Jesus is the word, like the Bible.
Yeah.
But it's never highlighted.
Well, he's God.
Right.
God.
Yeah.
Okay, so you know the Trinity is the Trinity, right?
Hello.
They're all one, right?
But then, I mean, we know this.
Right.
But you don't ever put, I think sometimes, again, we read the Bible, we don't study it.
But I'm just saying, I was like, wait a minute, what?
Back up the truck.
Like, holy mackerel, the word was God.
That's so awesome.
And John 1.14 says, and the word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory,
and the glory as of the begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Acts 20, 28 says, therefore, take heed to yourselves and to all the flock among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers to shepherd the church of God, which he purchased with his own blood.
God said that he purchased it with his own blood.
Jesus actually purchased it with his blood.
So he's saying that he is Jesus.
Yeah.
Yep.
But I'm telling you, I never read these scriptures like that before.
That's why these questions are so like people think, well,
not that these are Google questions from you know like
seven most popular but people are asking these questions and that's why i say no question like
you can always learn like i'm always learning from when people asking questions sometimes i
know the answer but because i have to dig deep right i learn more about it yeah And so, but this one, I was like, what the what? Like, this is, this is such good
stuff. Then Jesus's own disciples tell us that Jesus was God. So it's not only God and Jesus
saying that he is who he is. Then the ones that walked among, which is even more profound that they knew who he was
because they didn't they doubted when he died on the cross yep right but then they go on to say
who he was in the gospels because it all made the puzzles pieces all came together and they're like
oh my gosh yeah he really was the son of God.
But they even say he was God.
So John 20, 28 says, and Thomas answered and said to him, my Lord and my God.
Have you guys ever noticed that?
That's so good.
I mean, we've read that. But I never put it in the same perspective.
In Hebrews, God refers to Jesus as God.
So in Hebrews, nobody really knows who wrote Hebrews.
We all suspect it was Paul.
I believe it was Paul.
Look that up.
It's either Paul or Luke.
I think they suspect it was Paul.
Might be wrong about that.
And Paul didn't even walk. Paul, possibly Paul. Yeah. That's, they're not 100% sure, but based on the time, I think that it was written and the words that were used.
Yeah. That's what they normally determine it by. It says, but to the son, he says, your throne, oh God, is forever and ever.
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom.
And then I'm going to give you one last scripture.
Second Peter 1.1 says, Simon Peter, a bond servant and apostle of Jesus Christ,
to those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
I love you, whoever wrote these questions.
Not Google people.
That's what I'm talking about.
Because you make me step up.
Now when I teach something or when I'm looking at something,
now I'm going to sit there and go, wait a minute, that refers.
I will read it deeper than that.
Same.
It's so good.
So we always say it's like what Vanessa was saying is we always refer to Jesus as the word.
Right.
He is. So the scriptures were the inspired word of God by every man that wrote it.
And in that, those men recognized him as God.
He's also the word Bible.
I mean, Jesus fits the bill of so many different things.
But God supersedes that because he is claiming to be Jesus himself.
It's so much.
I know.
It's so deep.
It's like eternity.
And there's layers to it.
Don't bring up eternity.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
What is that?
I said, it's like eternity.
And she said, don't bring up eternity again.
Oh, yeah, please don't bring eternity up.
But it is.
It's so deep.
It is so deep.
This question is, like like all the other ones
were kind of like i mean there's a scripture like if they googled it real quick a scripture
would pop up but this one is like i mean i and my father are one like that's confusing
yeah well that verse if you look up where that verse actually took place yeah that was with the
pharisees and they um accused him of blasphemy because of him saying that.
Yeah. Yeah. Right. Yep. And then like in the beginning was the word and the word was with
God and God, can you imagine like not a believer? Like what? What do you mean in the beginning was
the word and why is word capitalized? And then, and the word was with God and then the word was
God. Like that's for somebody that's Googling this question, you know, that's like, that's
deep.
Right.
So like, yeah.
Well, you know how many Christians don't even know that he is called the word?
Yeah.
If they understood that he's called the word, then all these people that sit there and say
that Jesus never said that homosexuality is a sin.
Right.
Right.
Right. They can't make that statement. that sit there and say that Jesus never said that homosexuality is a sin. Right, right, right.
They can't make that statement.
They don't understand he's the word.
Like a lot of people in all their, you know,
how do I say this nicely?
People think that they know so much more than what they actually do yeah and they pontificate
as if they know something that they know nothing about right and these that just scripture right
there in and of itself shows how less or how the least amount of knowledge they have of the word
based on what they're speaking about because they don't even understand what that scripture means.
Like I did, in all fairness,
when I say that,
it's like the first scripture
that says that he and the father are one.
I'm like, I've read that scripture.
Yeah, right.
And I stepped into this going,
yeah, the Bible does say it.
I know it does.
I've read it. I know that it does. But then you start sitting there going, well, yeah, the Bible does say it. I know it does. I've read it.
I know that it does.
But then you start sitting there going,
well, yeah, the Bible doesn't just say it.
It's better than that.
Jesus, God, disciples, they all said that he was,
which is like way better than what I even,
I was going to use scriptures that say it in the Bible,
but then when I started finding the ones
that Jesus said it himself, I'm like, well, forget the others.
Forget that.
Let's take it from the man himself.
I'm like, so a lot of times people say a lot of things
with the lack of knowledge.
Literally, I cannot tell you how many people say
homosexuality is okay because Paul said it, not Jesus. And Jesus
never preached against it. So they say homosexuality is okay because Jesus, well, you can't, I mean,
it's just not possible because he is the word. So he did say it.
How about the Christians that say, well, we're not to judge. Well, you don't know your word.
It's the truth. Because it says it throughout. And Jesus tells us to judge. Well, you don't know your word. It's the truth. I know. Because it says it throughout.
And Jesus tells us to judge.
Judge the fruit of others.
Absolutely.
And a righteous man judges on all things.
All things.
Not unless you're doing it, though.
If you're doing the same thing that you're judging somebody on, you shut your mouth.
Take the plank out of your own eye.
Right. Exactly. Don on, you shut your mouth. Take the plank out of your own eye. Right, exactly.
This is what Tom would call shuttyville.
Exactly.
Take a time out on the old high shoot.
And we don't judge unbelievers, right?
Because they don't have the same standard.
So there's layers to that even.
Because a lot of believers want to judge
and say
to unbelievers, you're
sinning. No, duh.
Or get frustrated when
they do something that is
clearly a biblical
value. Of course they're not going to
act like the world.
You literally want to say,
were you ever saved were you ever
lost right a lot of these people were not saved right like they didn't grow up in a you know
in a home that was from the moment they came out of the womb they've served the lord and never
walked away right okay that's not the case for most people right and so you sit there and you go, and I have said this to people, and I'm like, you did no different.
Like, this isn't grace here that we're applying.
It's a thing of not having the perspective.
And you didn't do any difference, so why are you patting on things on people that you yourself would have never comprehended or understood when you yourself
was lost. Like, well, let's put ourselves in the position of the very person that we're like
casting this dispersion on. A lot of people forget that. They do. You do. You forget. Or they get mad.
Here's what another thing is. And a lot of wives get mad that their husbands aren't growing as quickly as they should i get it
i'm not saying when i say i get it not that i've actually like tom's always a step ahead of me
almost all the time spiritually speaking so that's not where i'm referring to i understand being
frustrated that's what i'm saying to you i understand the frustration but i'm like
you don't move i'm including myself you don't move, including myself,
I don't move as quickly as I should on some things either.
Like, can we put that same thing on us, the same onus on us
that we're putting on another person?
Or are we just going to try and just go, you know what, Lord?
In the time that this is taking longer than I want it to,
let me evaluate and look upon myself and the places that I need to grow
quickly. Yeah. And that I'm not moving as fast as I should. Yeah. And patience. Maybe I need to use
some patience. And patience is a fruit of the spirit and it dwells in each and every single
one of us. Maybe we need to take a chill and pray and stand behind. And so we see the growth but a lot of times it's just we
rather be frustrated and that's not good yeah so but that's some good stuff there man i was like i
like that question that question really helped me out a lot spiritually speaking and for like if you
ever got to teach somebody something and that's one of the things that these seven questions i
think that when we started out i said these questions will help us when we witness to others right you are right about that for sure
because if you don't know the answer and you're not ready for it because you just didn't think
like you probably didn't even think when you read that verse you were just like yep like it just it
didn't stop you in your tracks because you're like yep and then but when you have to research
when you have to research it and then put it into a teacher mind to be prepared to be like, okay, this is the answer.
It looks different.
Well, I think these are the seven most asked questions.
Like I said from the very beginning, you're going to run across people who are going to ask you these questions.
Because these are the most common questions asked.
And it doesn't say by saved people.
Most people aren't saved.
So the odds are this is from people who are not.
And that means that if you take these questions and you try and remember the answers to them,
you're going to run across somebody.
Yeah.
Probably more than one that has these same questions and you're going to be able to use it.
That's why I was like, this is so dang good.
I'm going to be able to use this. That's why I was like, this is so dang good. I'm going to be able to use this.
Yeah.
Again.
Yep.
And probably again and again and again.
It's really good stuff though.
Yeah.
Let's do our sponsors real quick.
Let's do it.
Laura Keller and Real Estate Appraisal Associates of Southwest Florida has been in business since 2005.
She is a Florida State Certified Residential Appraiser and has been for 24 years with three locations,
Lakewood Ranch, Port Charlotte, and Tampa. And 24 years with three locations, Lakewood Ranch,
Port Charlotte, and Tampa, and she can assist almost anyone, anywhere. Laura Kellan Real Estate
Appraisal Associates is one of the most trusted appraisal companies in Southwest Florida and has
been doing and has done approximately 10,000 appraisals and are approved by over 300 banks,
lenders, and government entities all over the United States. Her company does appraisals for
just about everything from residential properties up to four units.
They work with FEMA using the 50% rule, selling estates, probate situations,
inherited properties where the heir or heirs are not local and need the appraisal for their attorney,
step-up and basis appraisal for capital gain taxes, and they also provide assistance in selling properties.
If you get your appraisal, if you call and ask for an appraisal,
tell her that you heard about her from the Hope Hotline,
and you'll get a $50 discount.
You know, I just hung up the phone with her about,
before I got on the podcast and we were talking about some things,
but one of the things is one of her properties was damaged in the storm.
And, you know, like it just shows where
somebody is spiritually yeah by how they respond like she has some property damage
it's probably it's i don't know how significant it is but i know it's not it's not good and so
um like she was so chill she was like you know you know what? It's going to be okay. And like that's somebody who has not faith in the system,
but faith in the seeds that they've planted and sown,
and God will come through.
And it won't maybe be the funnest of things to have to do,
but you know it'll all be okay.
Right.
And God's going to see you through it.
Amen.
Even in the stuff that is not so much fun.
Right.
I mean, the stuff that's not so much fun can be a boulder or it can be a pebble.
Yep.
It really can.
It's all in how you look at it and deal with it.
And I always say, for me, when I really get mad about something,
like when something really ticks me off, I give myself like 30 minutes. There you go. Give
myself 30 minutes. I don't need 30 minutes very often unless I'm really, really mad. Most of the
time I can get over things pretty dang quick. But when I'm mad, mad, mad, I give myself 30 minutes.
And then after that, it's time to move on. And so that's how you can look at all these situations and circumstances.
And there's no reason for crying over spilt milk because it's not going to change nothing.
It's true. So you might as well just look at it, proclaim who God is in your life,
what he's going to do with the situation. Trust, believe, and know that when it's all said and
done, you're the cream of the crop and you will rise up.
Amen.
So, but that's, like, she was so chill.
I was like, that speaks volumes about who you are spiritually speaking.
I hope that anybody who's having to deal with anything, that you don't crumble.
You, like, you just rise up. And you, like, put it in the face of the devil because what he wants you to do't crumble. You just rise up and you put it in the face of the devil
because what he wants you to do is crumble.
Don't let it do that to you.
Don't let it do it to you.
If you are paying your tithes,
if you are doing what you're supposed to be doing spiritually speaking,
you can't help but to win.
It's not possible that you're not going to win.
That's just the facts.
So stand on those things.

They are auto-motivated.
Their business lives by Proverbs 16.3.

And they are phenomenal.
Phone number for them is 941-460-3962.
941-460-3962.
And can you put up the number for,
I meant to do that,
if you're listening and you're not watching,
it's for Real Estate Appraisals,
Laura Keller's Real Estate appraisal group. It's 941-743-3700. Again, 941-743-3700. All right, we got 11 minutes.
I think I'm going to be able to answer two of these questions. And I think we'll be done after
that. I'm not 100% sure, but let me, I'm scrolling people. Yeah, we'll be
done with the seven questions and then we'll be moving on to back to everybody's questions after
that. The next question here is the Bible reliable. We kind of actually answered this on Wednesday
when we said that it's very reliable. And the reason it's very reliable, the reason it's very reliable I'm not gonna I I don't feel I mean I literally answered this with four bullet points which is
the Bible is the most proven book out of any book that's been written it has been
tested and tried it's been tried to be proven that it is not right even when
the little shepherd boy found the the Dead Sea Scrolls in the Qumran cave.
Like, they put the Dead Sea Scrolls up against the King James Bible.
And it was basically word for word.
Translated from English.
I think it's Hebrew.
Hebrew is Old Testament.
And Greek is the New Testament, right?
Yeah.
They can't do it.
They can't prove that it's not right.
I mean, even those validated it.
But then you put on top of that, which is what we talked about on Wednesday,
2,500 prophecies that were spoken in the Bible
from the beginning of the New Testament
all the way to the end of,
I mean, beginning of the Old Testament
all the way to the beginning of the New,
or end of the New Testament.
2,000 of them, approximately 2,000 of them
have come to pass.
And 500 of them are future prophecies
and they will come to pass.
They just haven't had the opportunity to be fulfilled.
That's it.
So for me, I'm like, no other book has done that.
So it's a proven, proven book.
It is extremely reliable, more reliable than any other book that has ever been written.
And I think that's one of the reasons why it's the most purchased book every year,
hands down, year after year after year.
It's the most printed and most purchased book out of anything that's ever been printed.
So, yeah, I believe it's heavily reliable.
You can't see what I see, but you might be able to.
Talia and Vanessa are like blanketed up.
Turn down that air condition.
I'm comfortable.
I came in and it was 78 and that's not normal for us.
So it had to get nice and cold. Yeah, but Vanessa's freezing.
I'm good.
Not anymore.
She's shivering over there.
Norma's shivering.
Norma's over there.
Everybody's in a blanket.
I know.
Go turn it down one temp.
As we are the most professional podcast ever on the face of the earth talking about the temperature in the room. Wait, turn it down or turn it down one temp as we are the most professional podcast ever on the face of the
earth talking about the temperature in the room turn it down or turn it up oh women turn it up
don't turn it down i don't know which one you got you guys will die okay just turn it up one
temperature that might help you now that's normal what is that 75 it might be because
of helene totally i blame everything on her it's absolutely her fault
you know what the next one's an I everybody keeps saying the letter I is bad it is but Irma
Irma Ian isn't it wasn't it Ida Ida I think that was another bad one
what would it be this year?
I mean, I.
I hate to bring up that again, but let's.
What is it?
Here's the full list.
Okay, I, Isaac.
Okay.
Isaac.
That's biblical.
That's a name in the Bible. So God's going to come out to our side.
He's going to redeem. Let's redeem the I's. He's going to redeem us. Isaac. That's biblical. That's a name in the Bible. So God's going to come out to our side. He's going to redeem.
Let's redeem the eyes.
He's going to redeem us.
Amen.
That's right.
I'm going to speak to this stupid thing.
And then Joyce is after that.
That one sounds a little sketchy.
Joyce sounds like a little grandma.
She's going to be a nice little tropical storm.
She's going to fizzle out.
Yes.
So they have a whole list.
Joyce is fizzling out.
That they think are coming?
No, they're just ready.
So like Helene, these are the names.
Oh, they do it every year.
Yeah.
They have names every year.
You're 18.
You don't know the hurricane process.
That's a lot of names.
I know.
Yeah.
Alphabetical order.
Every single one of them.
Mike just confirms the next storm.
No.
No, Mike.
Yeah, he did.
Mike.
He's a trustworthy. He was worried about this one too i don't like mike i don't like wayne sidell i do like i like him too he's not a hyper
no i know but he probably is talking about it too he stays calm check him out did he talk about it
wayne sidell he's on a hiking trip right now okay he's gonna be away good for
him good for him bad for us no mike's not a hyper but he because he was true like he he was concerned
about this one um and he was up there he's right in the middle right where the eye was he said it's taking the same path as helen helene helene
it's gonna take the wasn't calling helen keller did you see that you called her no no i didn't
people were calling this storm helen keller okay oh my gosh isn't perry isn't perry like um one of
the most unpopulated areas,
and that's why they were hoping it went to Perry?
I think so.
Because there wasn't a lot of people that lived there?
Yeah.
Okay, that's good.
Listen, if it's going to go somewhere,
an unpopulated area with the most vast land,
and a lot of it along the waterway had nobody that lived there.
So when it hit, it wasn't going to do monumental damage.
And so for that, very grateful.
Yes.
Yep.
Very grateful.
But so they're thinking Helene is the same path.
Yeah.
The next one, Isaac, will be the same path as Helene.
Isaac. will be the same path as Helene.
We're getting this one, guys.
Yeah, this is it.
We're getting this one. This one's going to be a win.
And it's biblical.
We are set up to redeem what has stolen.
It's starting now.
It's starting now.
We're going to close out in prayer.
Amen.
I'm not kidding you.
We're going to win the lost and close out in prayer sharon and my mom are saying we speak to these things
and we have authority over them so did you speak to the last one because you did you're you're like
no she was just all she was doing was praying for my flight which got delayed by the way 30 minutes
oh that's what she's praying, she's not helpful in these things.
Talia wants to get married first.
I told her that.
She goes great.
She was disappointed.
Yeah.
Kristen says that your hair looks amazing and she wonders what shampoo you're using.
My hair is amazing?
Kristen said that.
Oh.
I don't know.
I don't know the name of it.
Drop the link, Kristen.
Yeah, Kristen, drop the link.
We know.
What is that?
I said, did she give it to you?
Yeah, Kristen gave it to me.
It's so funny because Jolene had me on some stuff,
and I was almost empty out of it.
So her stuff came just in time.
But I really like what she like what christine gave me i'm always if it's a hairdresser yeah i'm always willing to listen

things she does tiktok absolutely okay tiktok got us down a really bad road that's true with uh
with what are those called? Parasites.
What was wrong with that?
I don't trust you with parasites and I don't trust you
with shampoo. It did the job. No, it did not.
The first time it did.
You don't even know how to
measure.
You don't know how to
measure squat. That is true.
You didn't
know how to measure for your parasites and you didn't know how to measure for your
parasites and you didn't know how to measure for your...
The thing with me, if it doesn't
radically change my life
within the first
24 hours.
I'm done.
I need to see
real results fast.
Yeah.
None of this 30 days stuff.
That's too long. Apparently she has no patience. real results fast. Yeah. None of this 30 days stuff. Okay.
That's too long.
Apparently she has no patience.
Zero.
That is the fruit of the spirit.
It is.
The only thing,
like,
I have no patience,
but I'm not nice.
So that didn't work out
well with my kids.
You all have no patience,
but you're actually nice.
So it's been very good
for your kids.
Like,
it could be a really bad thing.
It could be.
No patience and being mean.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's true.
But if you're no patience and you're sweet, it works out.
It's true.
Within reason.
Within reason.
That's true.
What else?
But yeah, you're not a patient person either.
Like you got to like see it.
I do. It's probably one of my downfalls. whatevs but yeah you're not a patient person either like you gotta like see it i do it's
probably one of my downfalls i'm a product donkey you're spontaneous the dope very spontaneous
oh i will cut some bangs in a second you'll do a lot of things in one second what are you talking

Okay
You don't need to bring me into this
I've been doing good
You can't hear Norma
But Norma is giving Talia like what for
Which is really boring for you
To hear only half of a conversation
Norma grab the mic
We're going to spare you on that
She needs a mic. We're going to spare you on that.
She needs a mic on the couch.
Norma goes, the viewers are fine.
Norma's always spicy.
Always.
Always spicy with the viewers.
It's because she's been bit once, so now she assumes all the viewers need to be.
She's like a viper.
She is.
She's like a viper. No, they don't viper no they don't they love you oh my gosh
okay let's our mascot moving right along
let's try let's try go ahead okay just you okay so we're at minute and 17 i gotta answer this
question we can do it yeah we got it why is the Bible not in chronological order? That's a good question.
I have two chronological Bibles. My mom bought me one and then another, some viewers bought me one.
And I am so happy about having those because that's one of the few Bibles that I did not have.
Yeah. And I'm going to be honest with you. I know the order in which the Bible is set up,
but I'm going to read to you what I found.
It makes it so much, it's going to be faster, more concise,
more understandable.
You're going to walk away after I'm done reading this to you
not confused, because if I explain it to you, you might be lost.
Because I'm going to be all over the place.
But we're going to do this fast and easy.
And then you're going to be like, oh, that makes sense.
Now, I will tell you, like, everybody should know these things.
Like, if you've been saved for five years,
you probably should know how the order of the Bible is set up.
Most do not.
That's why I say like the last class that I went to of our essentials class,
this was actually talked about.
And if you're,
if you've been saved for a while and you don't know this,
maybe you need to take the essentials class because a lot of times people don't know the basics.
But foundational things are super important.
And then you just build on them.
And it's okay if you've been saved for five plus years and you don't know it.
But you do something about it.
It's not okay if you don't know it and then you still don't do anything about it.
You need to understand what you don't know it and then you still don't do anything about it. You
need to understand what you don't understand
so that you can have a firmer foundation
in your walk with God.
That's why newly saved
need to go to the essentials, but seasoned
people who have been
saved for a long period of time
but still don't know, they need to be
taking these classes. Super
important. It says the books
of the Bible are not in chronological order. Rather, they are primarily arranged according
to the type of literature. And I'm going to explain to you what that means. For example,
Genesis through Esther are historical. Wait a minute. You know what? I sent you in an email
and I didn't tell you. Can you pull this thing up? I sent you in an email, and I didn't tell you. Can you pull this thing up?
I sent you in an email a graphic, and I forgot to tell you.
I forgot to tell you that I sent this to you.
How long would it take for you to pull that up?
It's already made.
The graphic's made?
Yeah, the graphic's already made.
Two seconds.
You want to talk about the hurricane that's coming again?
Are you wanting me to stall?
No. Because I was going to say, I'll
make Norma come over here and sing a little
ditty for two seconds. A little ditty?
A little ditty.
Oh my gosh, we don't need a little
ditty of anything. Please don't.
No ditty at all. No ditty at all.
That might get me banned on
Facebook again.
Okay, now. That's so cute.
The thing is,
it's funny because the
essentials group, they have one that I
used with my kids and that I taught
in children's church. But this one I
liked, so I pulled this one up.
So can you pull this example up?
We can't get that any bigger,
can we? I can. Can they see it bigger? I can zoom in. Okay. So do you want me to start? Is that okay?
Yeah. Then you can scroll, correct? Yeah. Okay. So if you look at that, the Old Testament is at
the top. So listen to what it says. Genesis through Esther are historical and are grouped together. Okay,
so Genesis through Esther, they're historical, right? But if you look at it, I'm going to break
it down for you even more with this graphic. So Genesis through Deuteronomy, that is called
the books of the law. So those are the first five books of the Bible. Moses wrote them.
They are what is called the Torah.
And everybody hopefully has heard of the Torah.
So this is what Paul memorized, and that's what made him a Pharisee.
Pharisees, that's not what made him, but it was one of the things they had to do.
They had to know the five books of the Bible, and they had to memorize them.
If you go to Israel, you will see students in the temple, or not the temple,
where David's tomb is, and you will see students in there sitting outside of the temple
in a little classroom that is kind of set up but you can still see them and they are studying and
memorizing the torah while people are going in and looking at david's tomb super interesting
so genesis through deuteronomy first five books of the bible they are the law they're also called
the torah and um then the history which is what this is talking about,
is all the way from Joshua all the way to Esther.
But I don't see it right next to Job.
I'm trying to close my eyes.
Thank you.
Oh, my gosh.
There we go.
So this is why it's not in chronological order,
because it's breaking it down on subjects that all match and are the same. So you have the law,
you have the history of the Old Testament. Then you have the books of poetry, okay, that are
grouped together, which is Job through the Song of Solomon okay which interesting about job is and
we're gonna get into that is job is actually one of the first books of the
Bible if you were to put in in chronological order it is actually if
you get a chronological Bible you'll see it in the book of Genesis you won't see
it in this right where it's at obviously but a lot of people don't see it in this, where it's at, obviously. But a lot of people don't realize that.
Okay, so Job through Song of Solomon form another group of mainly poetry,
and Isaiah through Malachi are prophecy.
Thank you.
So you have the major and minor prophets, okay?
A lot of times, Isaiah through Daniel,
you're going to see those are really big as far as
book of Revelation, explaining like end times prophecy.
Those are your major prophets right there.
If you want to correlate Revelation, you're going to look at those five, mainly Isaiah,
Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel.
Those Ezekiel's big time.
Daniel's big time.
Actually, all of them.
I shouldn't even say that.
All of the four mainly are the ones
that you're going to see a correlation
with the book of Revelations prophesying about it, okay?
Then you have your minor prophets.
They're good as well,
and super important to read, okay?
So let me keep going isaiah through malachi our prophecy with some historical narrative similarly matthew through acts are historical
romans through jude are letters to churches or individuals and revelation is prophecy that's
new testament within the type of literature the books of the Bible are sometimes arranged in a basic chronological
order.
For example, Isaiah's prophecies occurred before Jeremiah's prophecies.
That's not how you see it, though.
Right.
In other cases, the books are arranged longest to shortest, such as for Paul's epistles.
So the longer books are put in front of the shortest books. To arrange the Bible content
in chronological order, some books would have had to been split up and inserted into other books.
Does that make sense, girls? Yeah. That would not have looked well, and we would all have been
confused. That's the reason why they didn't do it. For example, 1 and 2 Chronicles would have had to be parceled out into 1 and 2 Samuel and 1 and 2 Kings.
That wouldn't have worked.
There might be some benefit in grouping historical narratives to cover the same event,
but the overarching theme of 1 and 2 Chronicles would be lost in the process.
That theme, with its related purpose to encourage exiles returning to Jerusalem of their spiritual heritage concerning the priesthood and the temple,
can only be followed by reading 1 and 2 Chronicles as a unit.
So if it had been split up, the purpose and the meaning and the theme
would have all been, you would have been kind of confused.
It wouldn't have made sense.
So they didn't do it on purpose so that everything was concise and understandable.
Additionally, some books of the Bible are hard to place chronologically because we aren't
sure exactly when they were written or when the events they record took place.
For example, no one is sure when the book of Job was written, although there are hints within the book
that Job himself lived early in human history,
which is when it refers to the Nephilim,
when it refers to dinosaurs and things like that.
They don't say dinosaurs.
They use, like one, he describes,
in Job, he describes what in Job,
he describes an animal that would refer in sound like a dinosaur.
Yeah.
Does that make sense?
Ladies?
Yeah.
I'm not saying there were dinosaurs.
Don't freak out on me.
Might've been,
but there might've been some people are,
I know,
I know.
Don't be hard and fast.
I mean, that's my only thing.
Don't be hard and fast on anything that is not heaven and hell.
Yeah.
That's all I'm saying.
Chronologically, the book of Job would probably fall within the book of Genesis.
Some lists place it between Genesis 11 and Genesis 12.
Yeah.
The fact that the Bible isn't in chronological order can sometimes make studying the Bible difficult,
especially for the student who wants to keep various passages
from multiple books in their historical context.
That is where chronological Bibles come in.
Everybody probably should have one,
just so you can, like, that's one of the reasons I wanted it,
so I could have a better understanding of how things took place.
Especially when you're talking about the history of the Old Testament.
That's where it's really awesome.
A chronological Bible puts the content of the Bible in chronological order.
And as an example, Isaiah ministered during the times of the kings, which he did.
So a chronological Bible puts Isaiah's prophecies in the appropriate places of the books
of first and second Kings,
which is, again, one of the reasons why I want it.
A detailed chronological Bible,
as well as many study Bibles,
will also harmonize the four gospels,
putting all the events in the life of Christ
in chronological order.
So if you're reading Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John,
it's going to intermingle.
Like if you're reading one of the stories,
you're going to see the same story at the same time.
And you're going to see the variations,
if there are any, at the same time,
which a lot of times confuses people.
Bibles International provides a basic chronology
of the books of the Bible,
placing them in the following order
according to the time of the events described in the book.
So we're going to look at this.
I had for everybody to be able to understand
the chronological Bible.
I'm looking at something to my left.
With the traditional, what is called the traditional Bible,
which is like King James and stuff like that, NIV.
So I had her put it in the order so you can actually see the difference between what the chronological Bible puts the order of the books of the Bible versus the way our Bible, the traditional Bible is.
So put that on up there, sister. So the chronological Bible, instead of
going traditional, which is Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, la, la, la, la,
la, la, la. And you look at it while I'm doing this, but chronologically, it is Genesis, Job.
This is the Old Testament first. Genesis, Job, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy,
Joshua, Judges, Ruth.
So there's only been one change right now, correct?
Which is Job.
Yeah.
Correct?
Then there's Ruth, 1 and 2 Samuel.
Then it goes 1 Chronicles, where it should have been 1 Kings, 2 Kings.
Correct?
Then it goes on the chronological, it's actually 1 Chronicles, Psalms,
Song of Solomon, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes,
and then we go back to 1 and 2 Kings.
2 Chronicles is then followed, Isaiah and Jeremiah, Lamentations, Hosea, Joel, Amos,
Obadiah, Jonah, Nehemiah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Ezekiel, Daniel.
See the difference?
I mean, it's pretty significant.
Ezekiel, Daniel, Ezra, Esther, Nehemiah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi.
So it ends up being, I mean, if you decide to get a chronological,
you're going to sit there and go, this is very different.
Then let's look at the New Testament real quick.
Did you do one?
You did.
Then there's Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, all the same.
Then we switch it up.
1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians.
Galatians, Romans, James, which is very different.
Colossians, Philemon,
Ephesians, Philippians.
Then it's 1 Peter, 2 Peter.
It's very different.
Hebrews, 1 Timothy.
Then it goes to Titus.
And then it goes to 2 Timothy.
Jude, 1 John, 2 John,
3 John, Revelation.
It's very different. so if you got one if you got a chronological Bible you would sit there and see the Bible in a whole new light and sometimes
having it being in the chronological order I've heard people go it makes so much more sense to me now yeah i remember the first time that i read it um
chronologically it blew my mind that job was like in the middle of genesis oh yeah i was like wait
a minute yeah where'd that come from that ain't right that ain't right yeah yeah i know but a lot
of people don't even know that right it would It would help them to know that. Yeah.
It really would.
If you look at the Bible in the light in which God really made it for us,
it's what will radically change your life.
But a lot of people never open it up.
True.
Yeah.
They never even understand it.
And they sometimes will say, it's too hard to understand that's a cop-out
it's an it's i mean they have the message bible true okay there's no reason you can't understand
but we also have the holy spirit okay and the holy if you pray before you read and ask the
holy spirit for revelation those who ask will receive and how many times i mean for me i can't tell you
how many times i've went up before i opened the bible i say okay lord help me to understand what
about to before i had good study bibles i would pray that all the time especially in deuteronomy
but there's so many good oh my gosh those are the ones you're going
not me i find them very interesting in these books please the repetition
but you know what i you know i used to be like the repetition yeah oh my gosh but then it was
revealed to me the holy spirit was like i really feel like it was the holy spirit i should say i
feel like it was um i don't know for sure but i felt like the Holy Spirit was saying to me, that's how much God loved them.
And I'm like, what?
It's because he made sure that they understood
that if they failed, it's because they failed,
not because he failed them.
Wow.
Not for a lack of communication.
I'm like, you're telling me the punishment is the same for like something that's very similar
but it was to make sure that they didn't fail yeah it's just setting them up to succeed and
if they failed then it was on them and it was that's how detailed God is and making sure that
we succeed right yeah and for me it's like even even like I, like the temple,
if you've ever studied out the building of the temple
or even like the building of the tabernacle
or the Ark of the Covenant,
if you've ever studied out how detailed God was
when he gave the instructions for them,
you sit there and go, are you kidding me?
But then you, if you pray about it,
then you realize that God is in the details and everything. And if he cared about the details of the ark or the details of the temple, how much more does he care about the details of our lives?
And I'm like, he's in those details. So what do we have to worry about?
Super important.
I mean, those things aren't.
And he doesn't change, right?
And so he's the same God that was in the Old Testament is still the same God today.
And we are his temple.
Yeah.
So like.
Yeah.
Super like.
Yeah.
Empowering, I think, to know how important and precious you are.
Very true.
I don't know.
Super good stuff.
All right.
Let's put some smack down on the hurricane.
Let's do this.
Isaac.
Yep.
And then we're going to pray for, huh?
And Joyce.
And Joyce.
Just in case.
We're not going to rejoice.
No. We're going to rejoice that she dies We're not going to read Joyce. No.
We're going to read Joyce that she dies.
We're going to crush her, yeah.
That she's unalived, just in case.
Norma thinks Joyce sounds like her grandmother's name,
so she goes, Grandma, Joyce is about to die.
Grim.
That will make Norma super happy.
The hurricane, just to make it clear.
Yeah, just the hurricane.
Not real people. Not real people.
Not real people.
Joyce, good luck.
Okay, so let me get this right.
Okay.
This guy, Mike,
says that
Isaac is just like
Helene.
Taking the same track.
And taking the same exact track as Helene. Taking the same track. And taking the same exact track as Helene.
Like Cancun, up and around, all of that whole thing?
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Yes.
Okay.
And where, if they don't go to Cancun,
what happens if they go out to the left?
I can't, I don't know what's below Cancun.
It's not even a, it's just like that cluster again.
It's not even anything that can be like, it's just there creating.
Remember how they didn't even give us like a cone yet?
They weren't ready.
Where is it exactly?
I want to be able to pray specifically.
Okay.
Where'd you see that?
Is it near Cancun?
Is it near?
Oh, it's nope.
It's between, it's like the Yucatan.
The peninsula?
On the other side.
Yeah.
So like where Texas is, it's like right below it near Mexico.
And then it goes up and then goes through Cancun and then goes like this?
So not on his page yet.
On his page, it's just a big blob. On my thing, on my radar from last night,
it was saying that it was going to go right to Northport.
I literally just saw it.
Yeah.
Is it this one?
It's this one, right?
I think so, yeah.
On his Facebook page?
Yeah.
Yeah, his name's Mike's Weather Page,
if you're wondering what we're talking about.
And most of you probably know if you follow this stuff,
if this stuff's interesting to you,
which it's very interesting to me.
So I needed to go, when I tell it to go out,
I needed to go down past Cancun and out towards Africa then
and then go up through the Atlantic.
That would be wild.
I've never seen a storm go backwards.
Wait a minute, wait a minute.
You're telling me it's coming from Mexico underneath Texas.
Africa is over here, correct?
Most professional.
Okay.
Okay, wait a minute.
There's Florida.
It's right where I'm thinking.
And now it's saying it's going to go up and around through here.
No, it's going to go up and around through there. No, it's going to go up and around through there.
You don't see what we're seeing.
Sorry.
It's going to go this way and then go through there, that little peninsula area.
And then Africa's right there.
No, I want it to go towards Africa and then go up and through the Atlantic.
I'm saying let's go down that.
Open that sucker up.
It had the arrow. No, just do the arrow. Open that sucker up. It had the arrow.
No, just do the arrow.
That's not it.
Dang it.
What I wanted to do is to go through here, go down in her through here,
and then go up that way.
Okay.
Do you understand what I'm saying?
I do.
But I don't know what those islands are. I don't want to destroy anybody on this path but i want that thing yeah going to the right and up okay let's
do that let's do that as if we got it i wish i had a plane okay i wish i had a plane that was
just like a bulldozer and we could just bulldoze in the plane those clouds and all that crap.
And just.
Yeah.
Okay.
That's an idea.
I know they're doing something in there.
Hey.
If they can do that, why can't I do this?
That's what I'm saying.
Okay.
I need it to go like this.
Okay.
And then like this.
And then like that.
In Jesus name.
Or dissipate.
But I like your plan.
One of the two.
We're going to pray over the storm, then we're going to pray over salvation.
Okay, let's do it.
So if you don't know Jesus as your Lord and Savior,
or if you have gotten saved,
and you need to rededicate your life to him,
we're going to do that at the very end.
Okay?
So let's pray right now.
In the name of Jesus.
Lord, my faith was not good.
I admit it.
I accept it.
I receive it.
But not this time.
Not this time.
I command and I believe along with my peanut gallery.
Amen.
And all of the people who are watching and
listening within the sound of my voice and along with all the others that I don't even know about,
we're all standing against these storms, Lord. We're done. We're tired. And I believe that it
is all evil and we are to fight, spiritually speaking, evil and the principalities that are pushing and enforcing them.
So I speak against them.
I command Isaac and Joyce, in the name of Jesus, not to come up into the west coast of Florida.
Not to even come into the Gulf of Mexico.
It's not going to harm Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and the state of Florida.
We're done. We command these storms to go out and past the lower part of, what do you call that?
Caribbean? The Caribbean. I think that is correct. Then going up towards Africa and out to the
Atlantic and then never to be seen again.
Amen. In the name of Jesus, Lord, we command this, we receive it. And we know that if we ask anything
in your name, you're going to do it for us. Lord, no more storms. Amen. No more storms. Just like
you miraculously saved and spared Trump's life twice. Amen. Lord, miraculously save and spare
the lives of everyone in the paths of these two storms. Let them not harm a hair on one person's Amen. loose in Jesus' mighty name. And for those who don't know you, Lord, just repeat after me,
say this prayer. Heavenly Father, I thank you for what you did on the cross. I thank you for
your sacrifice. I thank you for dying for my sins. I ask you to forgive me of all my sins.
I thank you for the stripes that you bore on your back so that I might have healing.
I receive my healings for anything in my body that might have sickness, illness, and disease.
I receive it. Depression, anxiety, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, anything, anything that goes against you, Lord,
anything that is not of you, whatever's not in heaven, I claim healing on earth for myself.
I thank you that I will do whatever you say to do. I will not do what you say not to do. And I will live eternally with you forever.
In Jesus' mighty name we pray, amen.
If you said that prayer, come to church on Sunday.
Get involved.
That's the best way.
I mean, make some friends.
Iron sharpens iron.
If you get involved and you make friends,
you'll never, it'll be hard,
you'll be hard pressed to go back
to an old lifestyle. But repentance means 180 degree turn. So whatever direction you were
heading in before, you're going to go the opposite direction. So if you were drinking,
you're not drinking anymore. If you were smoking, you're not smoking anymore. If you're cussing,
you don't cuss anymore. You look like Jesus. That's basically the direction you're heading
is to be Christ-like. Whatever he did, you do. Whatever he didn't do, you don't do.
And I promise you, you think you're giving up something? No, you've gained. You've gained more
than you ever dreamt possible. So we hopefully will see you on Sunday. If not, then tune in on Sunday to the service, live stream it.
You have that stuff up?
Yeah.
Oh, you did have that up already, right?
Yeah.
Sorry.
That's okay.
Tune in.
Watch it.
You won't be disappointed.
Phenomenal worship and praise.
Yes.
Great message.
And connect with some amazing
phenomenal people you think you've had
friends in the past you haven't met people like
the ones that come to Foundation Church
they are amazing people we love
you we'll see you on Wednesday
or hopefully Sunday thank you for
tuning in see ya
bye
real talk
real talk See ya, bye. Real Talk.
Real Talk.
Real Talk. you you you you you you you you you
