Starting point is 00:00:00 I know. Yeah, I don't know if you heard, but Vanessa goes, Vanessa's dancing over there to the music, and she goes, it's been a while. It has been a while. I miss you guys. I know. We're here. We got to get that sound.
Starting point is 00:00:32 I know. I had it. I think I have it. I think it's in here. I think it's in my Dropbox. Oh, man. You got to go to watch the movie, though, to understand. I still haven't watched that movie.
Starting point is 00:00:41 Oh, well, then you don't understand. But I have watched Hallmark movies. With that in it? No. Oh, dear. Oh, gosh. Oh, my gosh. I don't have watched that movie. But I have watched Hallmark movies. With that in it? No, dear. Oh, gosh. I don't have time for that. I do not have time for that. Do you have that sound? I know. I'm trying to figure out. I think it might be a screen
Starting point is 00:00:56 recording. I'm afraid it's not showing me. I think it's right here, though. Let's have it for Friday. We'll get it for Friday. Yeah, let's do it for Friday. Yeah. That's a great idea, sister.
Starting point is 00:01:07 Hot topic Fridays. I hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving. Oh, my gosh. I had a really. So good. Yeah, I had a really. Talia, didn't we have a really good Thanksgiving? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:19 Oh, yeah. I was going to say, girls, did you have a good. Talia was with me. Oh. That's sweet. She's nice. Yeah, that was nice. We were very relaxing. Yeah. I was going to say, girls, did you have a good... Natalia was with me. That's sweet. She's nice. Yeah, that was nice. We were very relaxing. That's great.
Starting point is 00:01:30 I love those. Very chill. Very small. Very small, intimate group. Yeah, I love that. I know. It doesn't happen. But was your house small and intimate, Vanessa?
Starting point is 00:01:42 Because I remember you said you're having family. I did have a... I had quite a few family over. So it wasn't as small and intimate, Vanessa? Because I remember you said you're having family, right? I did have a, I had quite a few family over. So it wasn't as small and intimate, but it's family. So I can still wear my like stretchy pants that have like a stain on them. Yeah, exactly. It doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:01:58 Yeah, I don't have to like perform. We didn't get dressed up, but we just put on not do you think not eating we put on not sweatpants oh man yeah but they were stretchy always oh my gosh I literally the next day Tommy was like feeling so gross and so was I he goes I think I'm gonna fast all day I said I'm gonna fast with you he's like said, I'm going to fast with you. He's like, I need to like, what is it? Detox. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was bad.
Starting point is 00:02:28 I know. By Thanksgiving though, I've already had Thanksgiving dinner like three different times. It's true. So I was just like, I think this is it for me. I only had one time with leftovers and then I was like, you got to go.
Starting point is 00:02:42 Yeah. Which was, what was Thanksgiving? I'm good for turkey. It was a Thursday. It's always on Thursday. Always. So Friday, nothing. Saturday, leftovers.
Starting point is 00:02:53 Sunday, trash. Oh my God. I always thought Thanksgiving was the third Thursday of the month, of like November. But it's not. Yeah. It's the last Thursday of the month. Is it always? Has it always been that wayursday of the month is it always and i believe wait a minute is it the third thursday not this year last thursday of the month every single time
Starting point is 00:03:14 okay look that up i am and i could swear that's what it was but we celebrate thanksgiving on the fourth thursday has it always been the fourth and Yeah. In my brain, it has always been the third. I think it always falls like so early. It feels like it. Normally it does fall. This was super late. It was late. It feels weird. Yeah. Super late. Like I needed to immediately get my Christmas decorations done, which I'm still not done. I didn't have that problem. my god we know this true because somebody is sick in the head oh my gosh listen there's a study out there i know i sent it to you that people who decorate for christmas early are the happiest and so i'm really happy that's excellent you're the one over there making noise Always Is your house decorated, Tal?
Starting point is 00:04:11 No Your mom's not been home Well, we don't Because we had everything in storage from the hurricane Okay, Hurricane Ian was Yeah, we still haven't 2022 We still haven't unboxed it
Starting point is 00:04:22 We just got it out of storage a few months ago okay that's rough our garage is like packed with crap all the fun stuff and now you gotta try and find it
Starting point is 00:04:32 you threw away you guys your house got totaled yeah like abys abys abysmal is that the right word
Starting point is 00:04:40 sure no obliterated oh I was going with you. Don't ask me, Vanessa. I allowed it. You don't know.
Starting point is 00:04:48 I just say yes. You're not good. Sounds like a good word. I'm barely good. What did she say? But you're definitely below me. Obliterated? Obliterated.
Starting point is 00:04:56 Is that what you said? That's a word. I said obliterated. Yeah, that's right. What did you say? Obliterated or something. I said obliterated. I didn't say anything.
Starting point is 00:05:02 I just said I will allow it. I said abysmal. I'm like, that ain't right.'t right sounded cool but i'm pretty sure that's a word okay it is a word i know that but that ain't the right word obliterated is right like her your sliding glass doors flew in yeah yeah and then the storm came in with him yeah that was rough man it was interesting abysmal unfathomable that's pretty close no it's not that's very bad yeah but that's talking about you're abysmal but that was abysmal but that's not right with that i vote that word instead their house was obliterated and destroyed obliterated that's such a like can I even say that word? Obliterated.
Starting point is 00:05:47 Obliterated. It's because you want to... I do. I do want to roll it. Obliterated. You can't do that. Obliterated cannot be rolled with an R. Are you sure? Try it.
Starting point is 00:05:58 Obliterated. Not with your R. Oh, you can't. It can't be done. You can't do it.'s can't be done you can't do it it can't be done without hurting yourself oh my gosh okay what did you so that like i want to know because i haven't even seen you guys i know it feels like forever i saw you feel like it's been so long. I saw you guys at church, but I didn't talk to you guys. It was like seeing an old friend. Like, oh, hello.
Starting point is 00:06:27 I miss you. That's the thing. We see each other at church. We all see each other at church, but we don't all get to talk to each other. Even people that are watching. I see you guys, but I don't get to talk to you. Sunday is wild. Sunday.
Starting point is 00:06:41 Running around. Don't tell me anything important because then I'm not going to remember gonna remember it anybody who's told me anything important don't even have a conversation with me on a sunday just smile it's not gonna end well just come give a hug just ask pastor tom tom learned that yeah glazed over yeah she literally, just go give her a nice hug and then go on your day. Just pat me on the head. You know, just entertain you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:11 It's all right. Um, okay. So what did you do? You went away. I did. I went to Massachusetts. Um,
Starting point is 00:07:19 Linda, she, did she, she stayed at the house. Yes. I know. Such a sweet girl. She was so helpful.
Starting point is 00:07:25 I thought it might be her, but go ahead. Yeah. So, yeah, we went to Massachusetts, and it was wonderful. It was very cold. Did it snow? And it did snow. It snowed on Friday. You didn't tell me that.
Starting point is 00:07:38 It was flurries, and it was, I know. And Allison was doing, like, snow angels on the driveway, but there was no snow. So it was just the falling snow. And it melted immediately. Oh yeah. It was, it didn't even hit there. Like it touched the ground and melted. It didn't, it never stuck.
Starting point is 00:07:52 Oh my gosh. But that must have been so nice. Yeah. Everybody wanted to see snow. So Talia's mad at me. She's like grilling me right now. I'm so sorry. It's summertime when you go.
Starting point is 00:08:02 There's no snow in summer. I know. I expected though. I know. I expected, though. I know. But it was a tease. It wouldn't have been enough for you. You want to be able. Allison did make a little snow ball.
Starting point is 00:08:13 That's it. But she had to go through the whole table. And it was like an hour. She came out an hour later. But yeah, but it was wonderful. I got to meet my new little nephew. And I found out I have another nephew-niece. Hopefully a niece.
Starting point is 00:08:29 That's what we're hoping for coming. I'm hoping it's a niece, too. The due date is June 25th. And I told her, I said, you better hold those legs in until June 30th. She wants it on her B-day. Yeah, but I can guarantee you that ain't going to happen. That's number four for her. I was shocked by that one.
Starting point is 00:08:47 Her babies come fast. I know. She thought so, too. I was so shocked, but in a really exciting way. Because I kept saying, one more. Yeah. Let's do it. I want everybody else to have the babies.
Starting point is 00:08:58 I know. Me, too. Not me. Me, too. But I want everybody else to have them. Me, too. Me, too. I love it.
Starting point is 00:09:04 That's going to be easy for me. Everybody else can have them. That too i love it that's gonna be easy for me everybody else can have them that's true and i'm okay with that i know um yeah wowzers so like i was shocked that she was pregnant i know this summer when we saw her she was like i'm done yep you know you're not and the lord's sitting on his throne like, maybe not. That's what you think, sister. I got one more. One more. One more for the kingdom. Yep.
Starting point is 00:09:29 I know. Nothing like babies. I know. Nothing like babies. That's awesome. It's like what Pastor Tom says. It's such a punch to the face to the enemy. It really is.
Starting point is 00:09:39 I am going to have babies, and I'm going to raise them to love you, Lord. Yep. It is true. Let's have the babies. Let's have the babies. Yes. You guys to love you. Yep. Lord. Yep. So. It is true. Let's have the babies. Let's have the babies. Yes. You guys have the babies.
Starting point is 00:09:49 Yeah. Not me. Imagine. I have no. Imagine me having a child. That'd be so funny. I'd be the next Mary. We'll rename you.
Starting point is 00:10:00 But not virgin. Right. We'll rename you Sarah. Oh. That'd be nice. There you go. That would be very much like that. Yeah. We'll rename you Sarah. Oh, that'd be nice. There you go. That would be very much like that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:08 Straight up miracle. Miracle. Straight up. I'm done. This too shall pass. Yeah. And it has. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:17 God bless it. Absolutely. Praise the Lord. The Lord operates in seasons, and I'm out of that season. Yeah. But there's other women around me that are still very much in that season. Very much. It's awesome to see. I'm out of that season. Yeah. But there's other women around me that are still very much in that season. Very much. It's awesome to see.
Starting point is 00:10:27 I'm out of that season. How old are you? Old. None of your business. Oh, you're afraid to say your age. No, I'm not. I'm 39. She's a baby.
Starting point is 00:10:36 Yeah. She's a baby. I'm not a baby. She's a baby. She's a baby. Okay. So let's see i can think of three people right now that come to the church that are pregnant yeah am i missing anybody because you guys know all the same people one two three one two three yeah one two three i think so yeah huh yeah that's a great little thing. Keep adding them to the mix.
Starting point is 00:11:07 Keep adding them. I got nothing. You want to do your thing? Yeah. Then we'll move right into the questions. Yes, absolutely. Great. So Facebook, I have a huge request of you.
Starting point is 00:11:18 If you haven't liked our page yet, please go do that because we have 666 right now. And that is absolutely inappropriate. Somebody might think we are the antichrist. and liked our page yet, please go do that because we have 666 right now and that is absolutely inappropriate. Let's change that now. Somebody might think we are the Antichrist. So please, please go over there if you have not liked our Facebook page.
Starting point is 00:11:32 Just real quick, hop over. You can keep, Rumble should keep going because I know you guys are all on Rumble. Thank you. Thank you for that.
Starting point is 00:11:38 Yeah. Go over there, like and share, send it to your Facebook page. People will find it and then eventually we'll get them over to Rumble. Aren't we on TikTok?
Starting point is 00:11:44 We have, yes. We have a TikTok account. Can we talk about TikTok? Yeah, we can talk about TikTok. So if you guys are on TikTok, I know a lot of you guys like, well, I won't say you older people, but no, it's more, it's mature adults. Yeah. Mature adults are a little bit cautious because China. That would be me. China. But if you are on TikTok, please come over. It's the Hope Hotline. We're putting stuff up pretty regularly. We've got lots of questions up there. We can go pretty
Starting point is 00:12:14 long on TikTok. So I'm trying to decide how much and what people are doing. But if you go on TikTok, if you're a TikToker like me and Vanessa, Talia's on there too. If you do and you see our stuff, please like, comment, share, save and repost. Do all the things and that will get that out there. I really think there's a whole generation on TikTok right now that are looking for answers. And so if we can
Starting point is 00:12:39 get them over here, we'll have new questions. We'll have a new group of people and it's time to level up. And I really think TikTok's a a great avenue um you know it's not really regulated like youtube is youtube is great if you are very compliant if you don't talk about anything that raises ruffles feathers if you are just kind of there doing your travel and blah blah blah you know youtube's great but as soon as you start ruffling feathers um like we do often, not necessarily even on the Hope Hotline, but across the board for anything at Foundation Church. We've already been suspended twice on the Hope Hotline. Yeah. And we do on the Hope Hotline because we talk about medical stuff and we talk about things that are true and honest and we don't hide anything. And so unfortunately, YouTube is not the greatest avenue for us.
Starting point is 00:13:22 So I really do think TikTok will really help us find some new people and yeah, get the gospel out there and do our little salvation message at the end. We're fresh on TikTok, right? So like it's like we're like ground zero. Yeah. Okay. Perfect. Yeah, absolutely. So help us. Yeah. So help us get going on there. And yeah, if you just, if you repost anything that i post that would be super helpful so if you see it go follow it and then as you see things come on just keep reposting them um i usually put out really like good stuff i'm not just putting like you know i don't know something silly like actually like good content so you can be confident when
Starting point is 00:14:00 you repost it that it's something really good for somebody else. Okay, so that's TikTok. And I'll get a little graphic up so we can remind you guys. And if we have anybody new that's listening or watching live, you can get that little reminder. So anyways, Rumble live chat going. If you drop any questions in the live chat, just know they will disappear. So you can send it over to the email. I'll share that in one second. We have Black Robe always available. That's our own platform. And then our audio podcast will be available later today. We'll do merch real quick and then I'm going to go back.
Starting point is 00:14:33 So we have our merch. We have our four things that are available there. We have our shirt, a t-shirt, a mug, and our spoon. And you can get it online or you can get it at church on Sunday. And then if you're sending in your questions, again, if you're in Rumble, because YouTube is kind of the same way, anything with a chat, Facebook is different.
Starting point is 00:14:51 Facebook is comments. It's not actually a live chat, but Rumble and YouTube both have live chats. So if you do it there, they will disappear. So I just need you guys to, if you send a comment, I usually get an email.
Starting point is 00:15:02 So that's, it's fine to do that, but you can put in the comments underneath the video, whatever your question is, or just send it to askhopeathopehotline.com. You know, I'm sure a lot of you guys are interacting or see things online and you might be like, I don't know if I really believe that, but you don't have like a definite answer to it. Like this is the time to not just say, eh, I don't know if I believe in that, like to actually know why you don't believe in it. So if you're not going to take the time out to research it, guess what? Hope will. So she puts a lot of time and effort into it and, um, and she learns a lot too. So it's, it's kind of a win-win, but, um, or if you don't
Starting point is 00:15:40 know where to start, you don't know like a resource that you trust. This is the best way to do it because you know that hope is going to, you know, be honest, number one, and then also find really good resources to answer your question. So, yeah. So that's what I've got to say about that. And then coming up very soon, it's going to be here before we know it. Can you believe it? It's December 4th. We have 20 days, people. 20 days until Christmas Eve service. Hello. That's nuts. Absolutely nuts. And yeah, so please already
Starting point is 00:16:13 start thinking about who you're going to invite. If you usually do the same thing every year and you just bring your cute little family, that's fine. But also like really consider this an opportunity to reach out to people, you know, in our community, at work, in your neighborhood, just anything. Cause this is, this is a great opportunity to get them into our building and be able to hear some really anointed music and just to be able to watch a really great performance across the board. Everything we're doing is going to be really great. So yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:43 So we would love for you guys to be there. And, um, if you're looking for some kind of like graphic or whatever on Facebook and Instagram, we're posting stuff on there throughout the week. Um, so you can save that, you can email it to somebody, send it in a text message. Um, if you didn't know, cause tell you didn't know on Facebook, you can just right click and save a picture and then you can have it and you can share it that way too. Um, if you can't figure out how to do something and you want to send a graphic to somebody, just email me, do, do ask hope at hope potline.com. Just send it right there. Yeah. There's also an email. It's going to be sent out next week to everybody. Perfect. You'll
Starting point is 00:17:16 be able to forward that to people. You know how I look at this is seed. So if you are trying to get somebody that normally would not come to church this is an opportunity for you to say hey and you go and pick them up and you invest in them and you you sow seed into this person and see you know like those scriptures are very clear some of us plant seed and some of us harvest seed. And it's great when you can be both. Most people want to harvest the seed. After it's grown, you harvest it. Most people don't do that.
Starting point is 00:17:56 They don't really want to plant the seed. The seed is much harder because you don't see any results. I just, a friend of mine from before I met Tom came to church for the first time on Sunday. I've known this person for over 30 years. I've walked the walk, I've talked the talk. And then they were not saved then. They've gotten saved. We're going to another church um fell upon tom's podcast then just
Starting point is 00:18:32 by chance uh emailed me oh wow and said hey listen like i'm looking for a church yours is too far which it ain't and they realized it's not because they live in Venice. But then they drove it. But first time in 30-plus years. And she came to church on Sunday. And it was amazing to see her. And she's going to come back on Sunday. But 30-plus years is a long time to have planted seed and to not get the harvest.
Starting point is 00:19:05 Now, I didn't harvest it. Somebody else got to. Right. Reap the reward of it. But you know what? I don't care. I know. The person's saved.
Starting point is 00:19:15 Right. I don't care. I know. So for me, this is an opportunity for somebody who wants nothing to do with God, but will absolutely come and watch a phenomenal Christmas performance, which that's what they think it is. We know it's not a performance.
Starting point is 00:19:31 It's actually a time of worship and a time to honor and rejoice and celebrate Jesus being born so that we have eternal life and that we're redeemed because of his birth. So for me, I invite people. A lot of times they don't come. And that's just the truth. You're going to invite people and they will not come.
Starting point is 00:19:55 But then they'll, that's a numbers game, just like sales. For every 10, you're going to get one. Okay. So if you get turned down, who cares? Ask more or ask the next year. Somebody eventually will say yes. And I mean, last year I invited, I think, two different sets of people. Both of them said they might and then they didn't come.
Starting point is 00:20:17 But at least I tried. And so for me, if you don't try, you get nowhere. If you do try, you plant seed. And then at least if you're inviting people, they know you're also a Christian. So it's a great opportunity to introduce the church. But also, more importantly, the Holy Spirit is going to be so strong. I have been praying. I have been fasting over this, as well as other people.
Starting point is 00:20:42 This isn't just come and watch a really great show. It's not that. It's come and experience Jesus. And you don't even know you're going to experience him. So if you can, invite your friends and family, and they don't have to be saved. A lot of times people will go to those things that aren't saved. So time of planting seed.
Starting point is 00:21:07 But it's going to be a great night but it's going to be a great night it's going to be a great night trust me in that we're all working really hard on it what did you say yep absolutely yeah so very excited it's very exciting yeah um so enough about christmas eve unless somebody wants to add something to it anyway Am I? Good. Nope. Good. Okay. We're good. So let's go to our first question. Our first question is, Pastor Tom said, and listen, just so you know, this is all Christmas this month. So all the questions this month, yes.
Starting point is 00:21:40 So if you have questions about Christmas, now's the time to write them in. Yeah, send them in. Okay? Because right now, that's the time to write them in. Yeah, send them in. Because right now, that's the only ones I'm going to answer. It's the ones that are Christmas related or this birth of the Savior. What? She's excited. I said, come on. I know.
Starting point is 00:21:56 Let's go. I know this is the only time I'll do like theme months. Yeah, okay. Maybe Easter. But otherwise. I'm going to find your background. Oh, you can. I think you like the one from last year, so I'll find it.
Starting point is 00:22:09 Oh, there was one from last year? Yeah, it was very similar. But similar to this. Not too crazy. And you liked it. Yeah, let's do that. So this month is totally related around Christmas. So if you write in a different question, just know I won't get to it until January,
Starting point is 00:22:27 but I will get to them. But for now, any Christmas questions, those are going to be answered right now. So the first one is, Pastor Tom said on Sunday that there are things about Christmas that are pagan. Is that true? And if yes, what are they? Well, I will tell you, if he said it, it is true. He wouldn't just like make up that stuff. He doesn't just say that something's something and it not be fact.
Starting point is 00:22:51 He would never be dishonest about any of that stuff. So yeah, it is true. And the crazy thing is a lot of people don't even know that. And it's okay not to know it. Unless you're making staunch stands on things and you compartmentalize your staunch stands on things. And that was basically what he's trying to get at on Sunday is people are watching you.
Starting point is 00:23:17 So don't be a hypocrite. Let your yes be yes and your no be no. Because if one thing's wrong over here, but another thing is okay over here, and they're both in alignment with each other, people are going to say, oh, you're okay with that, but you're not okay with that,
Starting point is 00:23:32 and they're both the same thing. You look like a hypocrite, and it's not good for your kids, and it's not good for anybody that you're trying to win to the Lord, is basically what he was trying to say. One of the things he was trying to say. So, yeah, there are things about Christmas
Starting point is 00:23:47 that are pagan and I'm gonna go over a few of them. But before we go over them, just let me let you know that it doesn't matter if you still celebrate Christmas after I tell you these things, because it's all about the heart behind when you're celebrating Christmas, okay? That's what God looks at.
Starting point is 00:24:03 So when I tell you these things, when I list these things, you might be like, what the heck? Perspective. Keep everything in perspective. You're not worshiping something pagan when you're doing it. Why are you doing it? That's what you must remember. What is that? Oh, sorry. No, it's just me. I'm trying to find the background. I'm too far over. I saw something you guys didn't see. So I was like, is she trying to tell me something? No, I know. I usually do.
Starting point is 00:24:29 That's how I tell you stuff. Yes. So the first one, I'm going to name a few of them, and then we're going to go over them. And if you guys want to add anything to it, please feel free to do so. While you look for it, Vanessa might have something. Are you going to change it out? Do you want me to do it now? Yeah, why not?
Starting point is 00:24:45 Okay, let's try. Let's live in the moment, guys. Okay. Do you like that? I love that. Okay. Perfect. Great job on switcherooing.
Starting point is 00:24:53 Okay. Hey, I was going to do it during the sponsors, but listen, we do. Now I'm going to fix this one, too. So I'm coming back to you. What do you mean you're going to fix this one, too? Just wait. The lighting? No, no no so see how
Starting point is 00:25:05 their background but like on the other screen is still your flowers do you see that on the split screen with both of us here i'll come back see right here see the background she's gonna change that oh gosh that's not that yeah keep going we're doing great i don't know what she's doing anyway guys it's like foreign language. She could be giving me sign language or talking Chinese. I don't know. Okay. So here's the pagan.
Starting point is 00:25:32 To name a few of the things that are pagan is Christmas trees, candles, bell ringing, gifts. Now, that's not the only ones. Those are the ones I'm going to touch on because there's other things about Christmas christmas that are pagan stockings are pagan believe it or not there are there are things but let's let me like all those things i'm going to tell you how they're pagan and then when you hear that you're going to be like well i don't do that with it it's like people who um people feel very convicted about halloween if you feel very convicted about halloween then you don't do halloween and that's the truth people don't feel convicted about doing halloween and their kids are just dressing up in costumes and hitting the streets and collecting candy that's
Starting point is 00:26:16 it's nothing more than that for them then work out your own salvation with fear and trembling because actually halloween was the only now i say, some say yes and some say no. But there's a lot of people, Christians, theologians believe that Halloween actually started out as a Christian holiday that ended up getting taken and made into a non-Christian holiday. Whereas both Easter, which is Eastar, and Christmas all started out pagan. So again, I'm not here to debate it and I don't really care. I'm gonna be honest with you
Starting point is 00:26:58 because for me, I'm celebrating Christmas and I'm gonna do Easter because the reason why I do them is because I am celebrating and I am'm going to do Easter because the reason why I do them is because I am celebrating and I am rejoicing in the Lord Jesus Christ and what he's done for me for both holidays. But I do know great, great people that do not celebrate any of them. And I have a high regard and respect for them
Starting point is 00:27:22 because they have let their yes be yes and their no be no. So everything across the board for them, they are the same. They're not hypocritical about it at all. And for that, like I have a high regard of respect for them. So if you don't celebrate these things, I don't think it's bad either. So I just think everybody kind of needs to let everybody figure things out for themselves. And the Lord will do that. He's great about that. And if somebody feels convicted about it, like I didn't let my kids grow up believing in Santa, but I know lots of people who have.
Starting point is 00:27:56 It doesn't bother me. It's all okay for me as far as I'm concerned. God will take care of it. It's his business with them. It's all okay. For me, it's not a heaven and it's not a hell bound sin kind of thing. Celebrating Christmas, celebrating Easter. And if you do celebrate Halloween, I don't think it's hell bound. I just don't. So, but here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:28:19 Let's look at these things. Okay, gifts. This is how gifts are pagan. There was a Celtic priest named druid okay and it was also a called it was not called it was also a spiritual movement um where this druid offered gifts to his goat that's what made made it pagan, because he was not a Christian. And it was part, and by giving the gifts to the goat, this was done as part of a pagan ritual.
Starting point is 00:28:55 So because gifts were given to this goat as part of a pagan ritual, that's the reason why gifts are pagan and that's why people don't celebrate Christmas and don't do gifts because of that. Huh. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:29:17 Okay. Yeah. Okay. So no gifts. No gifts. Ever. Because of a Celtic priest at this time gave gifts So no gifts. No gifts. Ever. Because of a Celtic priest.
Starting point is 00:29:36 At this time, gave gifts to his goat during a spiritual ritual, which is pagan. Okay. A pagan ritual. Next thing, ringing bells. They are used to drive out evil spirits. Whoa. Candles were used to drive out cold and darkness. Christmas trees. Christmas trees are, like I grew up in my house, we weren't allowed to have a Christmas tree.
Starting point is 00:29:56 Oh, okay. Because it was pagan. Okay. I understand. I wasn't allowed to do Halloween. So some of this stuff, I get it because I grew up in a house where, but we did do Christmas, which we did gifts. I probably had more gifts than the normal human being,
Starting point is 00:30:16 which is it was borderline insane how many gifts we got, which I was grateful. Not complaining. But we did Easter. But we weren't allowed to do it. And some of that stuff I question. Like as a kid, you just need to know this is from a person that grew up. One way was okay and then other ways were not.
Starting point is 00:30:39 My parents were doing the best that they could with the knowledge that they had. But you just need to understand this is where you let your yes be yes and your no be no for anything more than this. It's from the evil one. It was okay for us to do the fall festival at the church, but we were not allowed to go out and do trick-or-treating. And I always thought, that makes no sense. How is it that it's okay for me to dress up and go to church
Starting point is 00:31:03 and celebrate on the same night, but I can't dress up and go to church and celebrate on the same night but I can't dress up and go to a door-to-door and still collect candy and I go to you just need to know your kids aren't dumb they're not dumb and I've known people who don't celebrate it but pass out candy and they will chastise you it's a it's a whole lot but then you have the ones, like I said, you have the ones who do nothing. And you have to have a certain respect level for that. I mean, kudos to people who make strong stands
Starting point is 00:31:33 and they stick to them. I love you for it. I'm not kidding you. I mean, I mean that sincerely, like makes me want to like high five and I don't high five. So that's pretty big. It's funny. Yeah. I mean,
Starting point is 00:31:50 don't you? I mean, aren't you like that with people who are like, yeah, the thing that drives me the craziest is the fall festival thing is when you do fall festival 31st or you do trunk or treat, it's the exact same thing, but you were like, and you're not, you don't, you're not just picking that because it like feels better. You're actually like against everybody that's doing the neighborhood trick or treating. Yeah. I'm just like'm just like very vocal about it right that's what i mean yeah but the ones that are like just adamant about all of it and like i'm just not gonna do it my i'm like good for you mad respect i love i love it yeah mad respect mad respect there's no level hypocrisy it's just that's that's where they stand and usually they're not loud and proud about it they're just like that's just where they stand that's right that's what they're not afraid to
Starting point is 00:32:27 talk about it right they're not like a jerk about they're gonna respond but it's not like they're like on the street corner like like trying to sell their their goods right and then making you look like an idiot for anything oh yeah no i do i know people like that too and i do have a lot of respect for them i love it i mean i literally love it I mean Tom talked about that um quite often when we talk about this subject and we're just like it's very impressive it is super impressive I agree um but I go the opposite um I'm like I'm opposite of people who say absolutely no I'm just like absolutely yes because my heart and the way I do things is not the same in the same mindset. My mind is totally God all the way. Like my thing is I do it totally focused on the celebratory part of who Jesus is.
Starting point is 00:33:20 And like I don't want to miss out on celebrating him. Right. And rejoicing in what's been done for me not that that people say absolutely no don't do that in their own way i'm just saying i go the opposite extreme of yes is yes whereas your no is no and so i totally get that that's where i think i have a great like van Vanessa said, mad respect. Mad respect. Because I'm on the opposite side doing this, making a strong stand myself and facing adversity in the strong stand against people who are not necessarily all no.
Starting point is 00:33:58 Yeah. They're mild no's here or strong no's here, but a little yes there. Mm-hmm. So not cool. so Christmas trees pagan so here's how pig Christmas trees are pagan pagans in Europe decorated their homes with evergreen branches during the winter solstice to represent new life and fertility other pagan associations with the Christian Christmas tree to include everlasting life pagans believe that evergreens represented everlasting life.
Starting point is 00:34:27 So you're going to say, well, my tree is not evergreen. It's a Fraser fir. I get it. But at the same time, it's a Christmas tree. Return of light. Pagans believe that evergreens represented the return of light after dark days. Protection. In many countries, people believe that evergreens would protect against witches,
Starting point is 00:34:45 ghosts, evil spirits, and illness. Sacred trees, the Christmas tree tradition may come from the sacred trees of Northern European mythology, such as Yagdrasil, a giant ash tree that held all the worlds in its roots and branches. So for me, like I have a Christmas tree and I have lots of ornaments on it and all kinds of different ornaments. But I will tell you, I have a lot of ornaments that are about God, about Jesus. I mean, they have the nativity on them. They're, they celebrate, they have angels, They celebrate the day, his birth. So they have significance to that. I don't look at that tree and I don't worship it.
Starting point is 00:35:32 I don't look at that tree and think that it's going to give me a long life or keep me from having witches and goblins. I don't look at it like that. I look at it as something beautiful that makes my house smell phenomenal because ours is real. It smells great. Do you do real tree? I do both. That's what I, I thought you did a real tree. I have a real tree. Yep. Okay. Where does the real tree go? Um, where I can see it in the family room. Mine's in my family room. Where's the other one in the living room? Yeah. Fireplace with the front window. Yeah. You have a fake one.
Starting point is 00:36:03 Yes. Vanessa has a fake one because that fluffs itself that's 20 feet tall no it's not how tall is it i don't know is it like 12 it's like the one in the is it 14 it's a nine foot oh oh mine is really tall mine's like 10 yeah you think so is it taller than mine tell that i have in my house right now? Cause that was 10. So maybe hers is 12. Her ceilings are so tall. I know.
Starting point is 00:36:30 And it just feels tall. I'm going to measure it when I come over. You're going to measure it? Bring your measuring tape. It's probably 12. I'm a carpenter's daughter. If you reach your hand up like that's like eight feet. That's taller than that.
Starting point is 00:36:43 Okay. Okay. I don't know. I'll come back with the measurements uh vanessa's house smells me and tracy smells great wow hold on hold up hold up wait a minute i do all my purpose cleaner okay is pine okay okay so you took a candle that's christmas but she doesn't like it doesn't matter i don't. But she doesn't like smells. It doesn't matter. I don't do smells. She doesn't have smells at all. It doesn't matter. It doesn't smell real though.
Starting point is 00:37:09 Says you. You can tell when you walk in. Says you. Says me. It's true. How is cleaning product going to make it smell like a real pine? It's infused with essential oils. Okay.
Starting point is 00:37:28 In case you missed that, i was rolling my eyes yeah don't believe it oh yep yep but i mean like my house my my christmas tree has really old decorations from when i was little all the way to present day. Because people are sweet and they give Tom and I, you know, decorations for the tree and stuff like that sometimes, which is very sweet. So we add those to the tree. But like what is your, like nothing of mine is pagan with my tree. I don't ring bells, but I could. I have bells. I have decorative bells that I got from my mother.
Starting point is 00:38:07 And they're Christmas bells. They're in the bathroom on the shelf. I mean, if you wanted to ring them, you could. Could, yeah. But I ain't using them to scare away whatever or bring in whatever. I have a cowbell. I was going to say, we use a cowbell for a bye. Is that why we do it?
Starting point is 00:38:21 To get rid of the evil spirits in the room? Get out of here. No, Tom's in the bathroom ringing it. I need toilet paper. That's right. They ain't staying. Those bells ain't staying in their room. That's pretty convenient, though. Ring a bell?
Starting point is 00:38:36 I know. I need toilet paper. That's not a bad idea. No, it's not staying in there. He did that to me normally one time, and I literally wanted to kill him. He's like, Tom, you need a toilet paper. Yeah. Like, what if he's sitting there and he needs a toilet paper?
Starting point is 00:38:52 He comes in the room and still shakes it. Okay? Tom's very annoying. Tom's very annoying. He's very annoying. Just trying to have fun. He likes to irritate, agitate. Yes.
Starting point is 00:39:06 I get that. All the time. It's his love language. Sounds like a love language to me. If he's not irritating you, then there's a problem. Right. It's only bad when he's really bored. When he's bored, then he just picks.
Starting point is 00:39:16 And I love it when other people are around that he likes it because then I don't get picked. Yeah. It's not you. And I just sit back and I'm really quiet. I refuse to make eye contact with him, though. Yeah. I don't get picked up. Yeah, it's not you. And I just sit back and I'm really quiet. I refuse to make eye contact with him now. Yeah, I don't blame you. If I was you, I would never look at that man.
Starting point is 00:39:31 I see him coming, I go the other way. I don't blame you on that either. I don't. Oh, my gosh. But for me, like, as probably you guys, like, when you're doing Christmas, like like gifts and stuff like that you're giving gifts for me when i give gifts i'm not thinking of the wise men okay i'm not doing the gifts because the wise men gave it to the wise men give it to jesus i do gifts because it's the one really
Starting point is 00:39:58 outside of my kids birthdays or other people it's the real really the one opportunity where you can justify giving something to somebody that you absolutely love without them feeling compelled to give something back to you. Do you know what I'm saying? It's like, so for me, it's like it's a great opportunity
Starting point is 00:40:17 to just love on people. It's not. There is nothing pagan about any of that to me. Yeah. And I know there are a lot of people who are staunchly against it and i understand that but it's not like that for me i mean go ahead yeah same no i i had a family member that said that it was um the reason they didn't have christmas trees in their house is because you would have to bow down to it to place a gift underneath it oh my gosh wow and you that's that what for real like they were like
Starting point is 00:40:49 how like they were hello i never even heard that one before hello he probably saw that or that person probably saw that on facebook it was like a video shared and then probably this was a long time ago so it was probably yeah it was probably a friend of a friend told them that that's what that was. But yeah, no, it was like legit. Like they were like, ah, ah. But the level of hypocrisy. In that person's life. Oh, so bad.
Starting point is 00:41:14 Like so bad. It was a control thing. Like he didn't want their kids to like, it was just yucky. It was a gross thing. But so every time somebody, once you get that like smell once from somebody, like every time somebody comes to me and they're like staunchly against something, I'm like, well, why? And not many people have good reasons. So when they do, and like we said, they're consistent across the board. I'm like, okay, I can't buy that. When they're consistent across the board,
Starting point is 00:41:38 their children are usually very, like they're stable, like people who have been consistent on the other side of things that's the truth that's a good it's the ones that have yes to this and no to that right yeah and they both look very similar their kids are usually their kids are usually messed up right to a certain extent or want nothing to do with god right you know You know what Sarah said? Go ahead. She said, um, Tracy, that's a good one. She goes, I bow down to tie my shoes too. And your kids too. Like the times you bow down to your kids and tie their shoe or fix it. Like, like it was, it was, I know exactly. It was absolutely ridiculous. And, and that lasted, I don't know, a year or two maybe that
Starting point is 00:42:20 they, and then they changed their mind and it was just yeah it was so i just don't do like we're going to celebrate jesus at some point so it doesn't matter if we celebrate him in september when it's his real birthday quote unquote or december like well nobody knows and i know i mean some people think they literally was is is which is one of the questions like okay what is his real birthday i mean when what month was he really born? There are two. And what's interesting about this is NASA, there's evidence that NASA can trace it all the way back. And I'll tell you what they say about that.
Starting point is 00:43:02 And then, and I know for all of my conspiracy theorists over there that don't buy into NASA. I didn't say anything. You didn't buy into NASA. I didn't say anything. You didn't see my face. I didn't say anything. Yes, I did. I saw Vanessa say it. I can feel it over here. I'm listening.
Starting point is 00:43:12 Okay. God forbid I use those four-minute letters. It's so funny. The river had like a whole space theme and there was like NASA everywhere for the kids week. There was NASA everywhere. I was like,a everywhere for the kids week there was nasa everywhere i was like who's gonna tell them who's gonna tell them if you tell them they're going to like jump down your throat yeah we'll be somebody else somebody else because listen
Starting point is 00:43:36 trust me on this i know where they stand with that stuff i know where they stand on the demonic and deliverance. Had very good talks. I also know where they stand on sphere and flat. Very strong opinions on those people, as well as some other people in other ministries that we all know and love dearly. I know where all of them stand. And it was so funny to me is like, like, oh, we'll just go to the deliverance thing. Like when you talk to Pastor Rodney, or you talk to Jonathan, or even Daniel about those why people do the they're they're they're not very kind i should say um when uh you know how people um when they're going to do a deliverance or something because i've i've known of this where they make you fill out a form and you have to give it to like the interview process
Starting point is 00:44:45 like i remember talking to daniel about he's like interview process he's like when i'm over there i ain't got time to interview anybody i can only get we can't we cast them out i'm not talking to that thing and jonathan basically is the same thing why am i conversating with a demon right not conversating with the demon not doing it i'm not going to find all about you. You need to be delivered. Let's take care of business right now. People who are into serious biz, like in Pastor Rodney, would laugh. It's laughable.
Starting point is 00:45:13 So all of this stuff that people are being taught or think is correct, they need to be very careful with it because people who deal with it and have dealt with it on high levels, that's not how they do it. Right. They don't. It's not how Jesus did it.
Starting point is 00:45:33 That's one of their big things that they say, which I've cast out demons before. I didn't sit and talk or have conversations or write things down. I mean, I literally prayed in the spirit. I spoke to it and I commanded it out yep that's it and guess what it's gone it's gone come on so I mean there's nothing to be afraid about if all of that stuff either I don't think a lot of people who are doing the interview process are afraid I don't think that they're horrible people and I don't think but it's again back to philosophy it's just like about the philosophy of christmas easter it's just the philosophy on flat earth round earth all of these things like none of it to me
Starting point is 00:46:18 none of it is heaven or hell no it's not so have your opinion work out your own salvation but what is the heart behind whatever you're doing absolutely and if you are somebody like since i busted on the deliverance thing let's talk about this if you are somebody who believes that maybe the interview process is important maybe that's what you do until god tells you differently if you're having success and you're casting out demons right if there's fruit. Mm-hmm. I ain't got nothing to say, but it's not the way Jesus did it. That's all I'm going to say.
Starting point is 00:46:51 Right. And so I would get, I'd do it, I'd get it to a place where you can literally speak to the mountain, cast the mountain into the sea, be done with it, call it a day. Yeah. Let's go. Yep. That's good. Move to the next, move to the next person. But yeah, when talked to daniel about it one time daniel was like americans america true
Starting point is 00:47:11 americans we complicate everything why he's doing he's like i hear some of this stuff like or he he goes to churches all the time he's like what are you guys doing i know like if we did what you did right we don't have time for all that. Right. They got a tent. They have a tent. Just go to the tent until you're done. Yeah. And you go on your merry way. Nice and free.
Starting point is 00:47:31 Come on. All day long. All day long. I mean, there's a lot of people that show up at those things. Because they deal with so much witchcraft over there. Yes. Yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:41 Incredible how much witchcraft it is in Africa. Yeah. A lot of people don't understand how demonic that country really is. And between, oh my gosh. With the different tribes and just cultures. Well, the thing is, it's a very Muslim-based country. But the thing is, along with Muslims, then you have, which is what Vanessa was just referring to, you have all of these other side religions. I can't remember what they call them specifically
Starting point is 00:48:12 because it's one of the things that I've been doing research for for Christmas. But they have all of these side tribal. It's not religions, though. What are those things called? But it is like a religion so they all have their own but but here's the thing they have doctors witch doctors and when i say doctors not like a physician doctor they have witch doctors they have um they have people that they
Starting point is 00:48:39 actually go to and their spells cast and there's voodoos and And it's really, it's a crazy, crazy thing. It's legit. It's demonic. It's legit. And these people come and they get freed. So it's crazy. It's great to be a part of that ministry as well as some others that happen.
Starting point is 00:49:01 But it's a pretty crazy thing. Like people don't understand like how the demonic really is. We, we, we do have people who are demonic in the United States over there though. That's demonic. That's some wild stuff. So let us do, do you think we answered that question? Yeah, I think so. I think it was good. I think, yeah. I think you did. I think you said everything. And then we went into other things that we just didn't need to go into.
Starting point is 00:49:29 Well, that kind of goes along with everything you said, though. Absolutely. It does. Yeah. Pagan. Deliverance. Yeah. I mean, because a lot of times people think if you do.
Starting point is 00:49:39 Oh, my gosh. Because a lot of people think if you do celebrate a pagan holiday day, you're opening yourself up to the demonic right you're opening a door if you are saved if you are saved and you're not inviting i love what andrew momick said and kenneth hagan said the same thing and i've even talked about this both of them when they first started out in ministry were devil devil devil demon demon demon and they were big time into it. And they were big time into the deliverance and stuff like that. And both of them came to the same conclusion. They gave more power and authority to the devil than they actually did to the Lord Jesus Christ, who redeemed them from the curse. And so what was happening is, is they were dealing with the devil
Starting point is 00:50:20 and they were talking more to the devil than they were actually talking to Jesus and praying to the Lord. And they found out that they were like, what am I doing? Why am I constantly doing, like this is not, I'm off here. This is not balanced. And then they changed their focus and that's when things blew up with them
Starting point is 00:50:41 because Andrew Womack literally woke up, literally in the middle of the night, was battling a demon. He had physical injuries on him. Wow. Yeah. Wow. Physical blood, bruising.
Starting point is 00:50:55 Just goes to show you. Scratches. Be careful what you magnify. He wasn't demon-possessed. He was fighting one, and that's the other thing. Neither one of them believe that you can be demon-possessed and be a believer. Because light and darkness do not exist together.
Starting point is 00:51:11 But they found out that they were magnifying. Yes. Be careful what you magnify. I know. Especially if you're concerned about opening up portholes or whatever there. So like doing Christian stuff or eggs. But then you're magnifying opening up like portholes or whatever there so like doing christian stuff or eggs but then you're magnifying the devil all day long like i don't which one's worse like having christmas celebration or yes talking to satan all day i i mean literally have known like
Starting point is 00:51:38 that's what andrew womack says i saw a demon in every doorknob right he's like what good is that like was it really me or was it really that or was it because he was like satan only has says, I saw a demon in every doorknob. He's like, what good is that? Like, was it really me? Or was it really that? Or was it because he was like, Satan only has a number of demonic forces in his, like, so was it me? Or was it really what I was? Which is very profound and very honest thought process. And God will give you that.
Starting point is 00:52:03 Like, the second you're in a situation that it's like God's going to tell you, you need to take care of that. You don't have to be hunting them all the time. When it comes and somebody says to me, I have darkness inside of me, then deal with it. It's usually like depression, though.
Starting point is 00:52:19 A lot of times people, the darkness that they feel is depression, which is the spirit. It's not. It's the spirit of oppression. Right. Not possession, which are two different things. But a lot of people don't know.
Starting point is 00:52:32 So they get confused about what what the situation is for them. Right. Yes. Right. But if you celebrate, that's the only thing. That's why I started out with it as I did. Well, you're going to go, oh oh my gosh, I have a Christmas tree. You're not opening anything up for yourself because you have a Christmas tree.
Starting point is 00:52:52 It's all about the heart with the Lord. And he knows your heart and he knows why you have it. And if you have a Christmas tree, if you ring a bell or you pass a gift to somebody, you're not opening yourself up to any demonic activity. And that's the one thing that I want to make abundantly clear because a lot of people, the demonic thing right now, the deliverance thing is a trend right now. It's a big trend.
Starting point is 00:53:18 Listen, I've been saved since I was five. I only did not walk with the Lord for like six years. That ain't that long because I'm 57. So 51 years of my life, let's just say 48 of them, 47 of them, I've been cognizant of what's been going on in the Christian world, the church itself. And I'm just telling you, I have seen fad after fad after fad and repetitive fads. This ain't the first time deliverance has been a big thing.
Starting point is 00:53:51 Or there's things about the big grace movement. That's here to stay, though. But it used to be, it was around, then it kind of faded out, and now it's big. When I was growing up, it was being left behind. Yeah, that was a big thing. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, me too. I was convinced like twice that I was left behind.
Starting point is 00:54:13 I can't tell you how many times the rapture, like Jesus coming back in 1985 or something. It's the year I was born. I graduated in 1985. Thank you very much. I graduated high school in 1985. I was bored. I was one. Ouch.
Starting point is 00:54:33 Ouch. Talia ceased to exist. Her mother was but a memory. That's the thing, guys. If you do, don't worry you for me like if it's not sin if it's not sin right what I would always tell you is this if it is not sin know that God looks at your heart and trust him yeah trust him like like you do your kids if you're a parent you get it then when I say like you do your kids that's how're a parent, you get it then. When I say like you do your kids, that's how he looks at you.
Starting point is 00:55:07 Okay. You know what's real. You know what your kids really are about. You know if they're trying to be sneaky or if they're manipulating a situation or they're being deceptive and they're just telling you a certain thing so they can do a certain thing. But it's really not the truth. The Lord knows the same thing about you. So if he knows your heart behind something, trust him with that. And don't walk in condemnation. You can't when you're in Christ. But a lot of times people put guilt on themselves
Starting point is 00:55:37 versus conviction. And conviction is where the Holy Spirit tries to bring something to light for you so that you can change it. A lot of times we live in the world so much that we cast guilt upon ourselves that the Lord would never do. It's not even his thought. That's so true. Yeah. It's so true. It's not even condemnation. It's guilt, which is the world's way of doing things.
Starting point is 00:56:04 Condemnation is the Lord's way. It's a spiritual thing. So make sure that you just don't do something that's not really there. And I think a lot of people live in a lot of guilt. Be free. Be free. Be free. Come on.
Starting point is 00:56:19 There's something to be special. It's something special about that. And that's why I loved Pastor Tom's message on Sunday. And he emphasized on like know what sin is and what sin isn't. Yes. You know, like people perish for lack of knowledge. Okay. Like read your word, open it up, know what really sin is. Like a lot of people will say, you know, I'm struggling with depression and you're having, you're dabbling in adultery. We're all in process.
Starting point is 00:56:47 No, one is sin and one is it. I literally have had people say somebody who will drink and somebody who smokes. And they'll tell the person who smokes, they're as much of a sinner as the one that's drinking. No, sorry, not happening. Smoking is not a sin. And I can't tell you how many people have told me that smoke says. It's dumb, but it's not a sin.
Starting point is 00:57:13 Exactly. Can't tell you how many times Christians have told me, I know I'm sinning, I smoke. I'm like, no, you're not. It ain't smart, but no, you're not. Got to know what's sin and what's not sin. Yeah. So that nobody can sell you a bill of goods that's just not true. And a lot of times people don't want to be Christians because people make things, things that aren't things.
Starting point is 00:57:36 Yeah. You're true. Yeah, that's true. Yep. And people don't want anything to do with it. Right. Because the religiosity of things or the mindset behind people. I literally want to say to some people that have all these, that are extremely rigid in certain things that make absolutely no sense whatsoever.
Starting point is 00:57:58 I want to say to them, how many people are following you? How many people are actually friends with you and actually agree with you on these things? Not that narrow is the way and few there be that find it. So the majority won't follow us and the majority won't agree with us. Okay. I get that. But when nobody wants what you have, nobody wants you have, wants what you have have you might be wrong right and i don't know and if it's not producing fruit right it's time it's time to like evaluate and search yourself out like if there's no fruit then there's a reason 100 and sometimes it's because you're off a little bit, but it's also because you're off, spiritually speaking, as well. So take note.
Starting point is 00:58:50 I just sometimes want to say to people, you're a really nice person, but you're weird as crap. And if you could get rid of the weirdness, man, you really got something going for you. How do you say that nicely? There is no way. And they don't ask, so i don't say anything but i literally am like you're weird as freaking crap yeah why are you so weird why like what is it like why are they weird like what do they get from because i think that they
Starting point is 00:59:17 think that they're so that they're spiritually above it all okay They're spiritually, they're on a plane here so the rest of us will never get it. And I'm like, no baby. You're weird. You're wrong and you're weird. Not a great combo. If you don't have
Starting point is 00:59:40 good fruit, if you repel, and I'm saying on the whole you repel. Not the few, but on the if you repel and I'm saying on the whole you repel right right yeah right not the few but on the whole you repel you seriously need and listen it isn't as if I haven't had to look at myself and say I'm always examining myself girl you got to fix that chill out I've had to tell myself plenty of times as well as my husband has had to tell me you got to fix that yeah yeah and then you have a decision to make in that moment I reject that because you're wrong or you know what there might be some there might be some truth to what you're actually
Starting point is 01:00:16 telling me I might not agree with everything you're telling me there is some truth so maybe I need to fix the part that I do agree with and then eventually when you start fixing the parts that you do agree with you find out you're completely all wrong because then your eyes are open to all of what that person was trying to say to you right you have to be humble enough and honest enough yeah and a lot of people and I know this too because I was a very prideful person very prideful person and when you're so so full of pride, you're not teachable. And when you're not teachable, you're not usable at all. I mean, it's just the way it is. That is so true. Who does, I mean, well done, good and faithful servant. That's what i want to hear when i go to heaven you don't be teachable you're not usable there is no serving all it is is about you and there's
Starting point is 01:01:12 nothing good that comes from that right not one thing yep so anything you want to add we only got to one question but it it was good. Surprise, surprise. Like you covered so much in that one question. I know, that was a lot. It was layers to that question. Whether we wanted it or not. It's like an onion. Oh, man.
Starting point is 01:01:37 You know what else about the weird thing is if you're considering if you're weird, you probably aren't. Because usually the weird people... I know, Sarah was like... 100%. Sarah was like, am I weird? can you define weird please because I because I'm weird no we're all weird a little bit weird it's it's the ones that like you said it's the high like there's a higher they're at a higher level and nobody will reach that there's no way to even
Starting point is 01:01:58 like explain it it's like you just know they're like like, you know what I mean? Like, I don't even know how to explain that. I have people in my head, but I can't say it. Hope. I'll give you people example if you're close to me. I think all of us to a certain degree can think of, see, I know people that are weird, but they're super nice and they're super teachable and they're very correctable. Talia.
Starting point is 01:02:24 Yeah. Okay. And I don't know if they're very correctable. Talia. Yeah. Okay. And I don't know if they'll ever not be weird. Right. Okay. Because it might just be their personality. No, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:02:38 I think that they married somebody weird, so now they're weird. Oh. Or their parents are weird, so they're weird. It's like homeschool parents. It's like everyone thinks the homeschool kids. Yo, yo, yo, yo, yo. Listen, everyone thinks the homeschool kids are weird, right? It's like homeschool parents it's like everyone thinks yo yo yo yo yo everyone thinks the homeschool kids are weird right it's like no it's about the parents like there's normal homeschool you're right there's weird but there's weird public schools right right it's all about the parents yeah yeah well i would say some of it is genetic like i mean some of it is genetic some things like what let's like I can think of siblings right now that have quirkiness right one of the parents is
Starting point is 01:03:15 quirky and two of the kids out of the four of kids two of them are quirky and the other ones are not and the two quirky ones have the same mannerisms. They think the same way. They joke the same way. That ain't the parents. They got that genetically from the parents. You didn't grow up and see that, so that's what you did. They came out
Starting point is 01:03:37 of the womb doing the quirky, alien things. Genetics is wild. Genetics is wild. Genetics is wild. Yes. I agree. Got good genes. We all have good genes.
Starting point is 01:03:50 I mean, it's funny to me because I have a friend who has a weird kid and I don't think they're that weird. They've always said they're a little odd,
Starting point is 01:03:59 right? And they always thought that the weirdness came from the father. Yeah, but really. But then they found out when they had other kids, and they found out it was them. Or they were like, maybe it's not the other person.
Starting point is 01:04:17 Maybe it's me. I love that. I was like, that's freaking funny. Maybe it wasn't. Maybe it is me. I mean, you got to be funny. Maybe it wasn't. Maybe it is me. Yeah. I mean, you got to be honest. You got to look at yourself.
Starting point is 01:04:28 You do. You do. Do it. But sometimes it's not because the parents are weird, but it is true. I mean. Sometimes it is. Sometimes it is. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:36 Sometimes it's just how they come out. Yep. Yep. But you can do something about being weird. You can. Right. Yeah. Not repelling weird.
Starting point is 01:04:44 It's all of us. Like, you be weird. You can. Right. Yeah. I'm not repelling weird. I'm not repelling weird. Like, you be you. Be who you are. But don't repel people because you're higher than thou. Like, just, I don't know. And surround yourself with, like, good, like, sound people. Yeah. Because you start becoming the average of the people that you surround yourself with.
Starting point is 01:05:00 Yeah. Good company. Yeah. Corpse. Or bad morals. If you're a little weird, just look at your surroundings. Who are you surrounding yourself with?
Starting point is 01:05:09 And then do the opposite. It's true, though. I know it is. Positive peer pressure, negative peer pressure. Having the right friends will save your life. Yeah, because you tend to be like the person you hang out with.
Starting point is 01:05:26 They tend to rub off on you. It's like if you have somebody who is, if you are from New York and you end up having a really close friend that is Southern as the day is long, it has the country-est twang you've ever, eventually you might, a Northerner might start sounding like a Southerner and the Southerner is going to take on some of the North. It's just the way it is. You rub off on each other. Yeah, you might a northerner might start sounding like a southerner and the southerner
Starting point is 01:05:46 is going to take on some of the northerners. It's just the way it is. You rub off on each other. When I lived in Alabama for like 18 months, I started saying things like, wah. Oh my gosh. What's that mean? I wish you could have seen her face. Wah. It was that
Starting point is 01:06:04 very moment Jeff was like, we're out of here off to california we don't when he came home and she was frying up some uh frog legs in the wearing an alabama t-shirt saying roll todd we gotta go we're out oh my gosh it's so true my brother lives in alabama he's been there for a really long time yeah you change you do change you do something i don't care who you are i was yeah that's i was unwell you become corrupted rather quickly so if you're weird find some normal friends beg them to let you stay in their in their good graces and hang out with them. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:46 And eventually you'll look just like them. Yeah. Don't talk a lot. That helps. If you're weird, ask questions. Hushy hushy. Be curious.
Starting point is 01:06:54 Just listen. Observe. Observe. Be a people watcher. Yeah. Don't say anything. Say nothing. Cause I can tell if you're weird and you start talking,
Starting point is 01:07:03 they're going to like, they're going to know. Mass exodus out of the group. I knew two people. Weird. Yeah. They went to a church, a home church. The home church up and left.
Starting point is 01:07:15 Never told them they were leaving. Wow. Left the group. Oh, my God. They moved the group. Never told them. They went to church, to the home church on a Sunday. And the place was locked up.
Starting point is 01:07:25 Oh, my gosh. That's, yeah. You know you're bad. And then you're so stupid that you tell other people that that's, and everybody already knows. Right. I wish I could do that right now with you. But what's so funny is when those same people are sitting there
Starting point is 01:07:41 and they're telling you all about everybody else and how everybody else is wrong, and I'm like, you just told me that a whole home group right that didn't speak english you speak english they didn't speak english and they wanted that's bad that's bad that's a whole nother level that's not good guys but it's everybody else and it's not you right yeah delus. Delusional. The Lulu. Oh yeah. But people live like that. Guys, I could write a book.
Starting point is 01:08:08 I literally could write a book and I'm just telling you. You would sit there and you'd go, there ain't no way. Confessions of a pastor's wife. I kid you not. That would be a bestseller.
Starting point is 01:08:19 I would read it. But the problem is people would start being in the process of elimination and trying to figure out what it was. Totally. And they'd be wrong because I'd only write about people that nobody knew about. I would read it. People would start being in the process of elimination and trying to figure out. And they'd be wrong because I'd only write about people that nobody knew about.
Starting point is 01:08:38 But I literally, you know, I've had friends and I'm like, just like, I can't believe sometimes. And I'll be told I would tell stories like they wouldn't know the people. Yeah. I would tell stories and I'm like, surely that's not real. And I'm like, surely it is. it'd be real oh my gosh they're like there's no way there's people out there like that and i'm like no no no there is that's trust me on this so funny i know the pastor's wife is something else. Yeah. The stories. Something else. I mean, it's the lying. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:08 It's the lying. And the whole entire time, the person's lying to you. You know. And you know they're lying to you because you know what they've done. Right. Because social media doesn't lie. I mean, I've literally been in meetings with people lying straight to your face. Oh, man, that's the worst.
Starting point is 01:09:28 Acting like they're doing you a favor. And you know by social media what they've been up to. Yeah. And, like, you just say nothing. Because you're like. You just smile. And then the results end up that they end up going or whatever. And the whole entire time, everybody in the church is like, they're so great or they've been wrong or whatever.
Starting point is 01:09:48 And you're sitting there going. Time will tell. I'll say nothing. But oh my gosh, the stories. Oh, the stories. I'm telling you. That's funny. That's it.
Starting point is 01:10:01 That's the book. I wish I could write one. You can. We can do it. Oh my gosh. We have so much time on our hands. I'll the book. I wish I could write one. You can. We can do it. Oh, my gosh. We have so much time on our hands. I'll start now.
Starting point is 01:10:08 Oh, my gosh. I said one time, I said to Heather, I think it was a meeting with Tracy. I said, I'm going to do that. And so I said to Heather, email me to do that. And in the email, it goes, in your spare time. I was like, died of laughter. Now that we have nobody watching yeah oh yeah no they're here they're here um let us do the sponsors and then we're going to close out okay uh no that doesn't mean you get to leave because i'm not going to close out just close out just for the record
Starting point is 01:10:37 you have something else to say i have something else to say dang you people don't think you're getting ahead of me because because you're not. I slowed down so just in case, if you needed one of those things, you know what she can do. I did that on purpose.
Starting point is 01:11:38 Because otherwise I sounded like an auctioneer. So if you give her a call, tell her that you heard about her from the Hope Hotline and you will receive a $50 discount. Listen, it's the Trump economy coming in, which is good. It's better than the Biden economy. And I think the stock market has gone up. Lots of things are moving. And I'm just saying to you this, I think the housing market's going to come back. I think properties are going to continue to rise. And super important, if you're going to buy a property or sell a property, make sure you get an appraisal,
Starting point is 01:12:14 and you're going to definitely want to use somebody you can trust who will honor you, treat you like family, brothers and sisters in Christ, super important, and not rip you off because a lot of people don't take the time to really, I know this because I did this for a living when I sold real estate. I worked with a lot of appraisers. Some of them are really good, and some of them are really bad. And some of them just want to make the quick and easy money. But you really need to find somebody who's not looking for quick, giving you quick results. They want to give you accurate results. That's where it really matters. So give her a call. If you are listening, you're
Starting point is 01:12:52 going to want her phone number because right now you can't see what I'm seeing. And that is all of our information. So call her at 941-743-3700. Again, 941-743-3700. Starting point is 01:14:32 and so okay so here's what we're going to do the next hopefully we'll get to two questions the next question that we're going to hit on next on. What was I going to talk about on Friday? The video. Whatever that video was you guys were talking about in the beginning. What is that? I can't remember what we were talking about. Did it have to do with the Christmas movie Hallmark? No.
Starting point is 01:14:55 I'll have to rewatch. The horn. The horn. No, no, no. We are going to get that. No, it's a question. It's a screen recording. We did that one. No. That was the Hallmark one. I was talking about we're going to We are going to get that. No, it's a question. It's a screen recording. We did that one.
Starting point is 01:15:05 No. That was the Hallmark one. I was talking about we're going to address something when I get back, when we come back. Oh. What? No. Mm-hmm. You don't have to watch it, people.
Starting point is 01:15:15 Yeah. I have to go rewatch it. I've already forgotten. Me too. But the next one is another Christmas question. All of them are Christmas questions, and they're very good. The next one's super interesting because I had no idea about it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:28 At all. I've only heard about it from Vanessa, so Vanessa's going to give her two cents. That's right. Be ready. She's ready. Listen, she only has four cents up there, so she's giving two of them to us. She's only going to have two left. That's going to be scary. So please come.
Starting point is 01:15:44 It's going to be scary, people. Join left. That's going to be scary. So please come. It's going to be scary, people. Join us. She's going to be rubbing two pennies together after we're done with her on Friday. We might need to walk her back out to her car. Literally. She might be drooling. Oh, man.
Starting point is 01:15:57 As she drives down the road. Might have to ask Jeff to pick her up. Oh, no. I know. She only got two cents. Two cents. Two cents. After that. After that. That's it. That's all i got started going on me wait a second we'll get you some more sense girl
Starting point is 01:16:14 only pennies please oh man well she could afford some more are you sure maybe yeah because there's gonna be a deficit shortly thereafter okay Okay. We might need some quarters. Okay, fine. Quarters. I have no idea what we're talking about. What is that? She has no idea what we're talking about. See what I'm saying? The two cents are already gone.
Starting point is 01:16:37 Please, guys, send in cents. Go fund me. Start it up right now. Have a great Wednesday night. There's youth tonight, So if you got kids. Yeah. Bring them. Bring them. Not kids.
Starting point is 01:16:49 Youth. 9th to 12th. Yeah. 9th to 12th. God bless. High school. We're going to have a whole bunch of kids show up here. I'm sending you home.
Starting point is 01:16:54 Well, you know what? Like, I always think of that. Yeah. With Jonathan's youth group. Yeah. Like Maddie was saying, parents literally were bringing to the youth group their teens and then the siblings of the teens so they could be watched. Oh, well, they're like, this is a youth group. They're like, we're not taking it.
Starting point is 01:17:15 OK, everybody. That's the elementary school kids. You're like, no, no. The conversations that are had sometimes, elementary students should not be listening to them. Absolutely not. There's a time and a place for everything and that ain't it. So have a great Wednesday night. If you ain't got your tree, put that sucker up.
Starting point is 01:17:34 Some people are saying they're not doing decorating this year. What are you thinking? Come on. It's Trump 2024. I know. Leave it up all year. I don't know about that. Holiday tree. I don't know about that. Trump 2024 tree.
Starting point is 01:17:47 Just change out your decorations for Trump faces. Somebody's really happy Trump went. I need to get my hat back. A lot of people are. A Trump star. What is that? A Trump star at the top of the tree. Like a picture of Trump.
Starting point is 01:18:00 Aw. And then every, like January can be like snow Trump. And then February can be Valentine's Trump. The star of David. Trump has taken the place of the star of Trump. And then every January can be like Snow Trump. And then February can be Valentine's Trump. So the Star of David. Trump has taken the place of the Star of David. Good to know. That's a pagan thing. Just for all of you who don't know it, that's pagan.
Starting point is 01:18:15 Bow down to the Trump tree. Now we're in trouble. We've crossed the line. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Take it back. We didn't cross the line. Tracy crossed the line. That's right take it back we didn't cross the line wait a minute tracy crossed the line that's right i don't have that tell you it's with me i'm gonna come over and ring bells around your tree
Starting point is 01:18:33 on the shelf i got plenty of bells i'll do it and we'll take a video okay yeah I'll bring my two cents. You do that. You don't need your two cents. You do that. I still don't want any. Appreciate that. Okay. Then she really will be drooling after she's done.
Starting point is 01:18:53 Have a great Wednesday. We'll see you on Friday. Bring a friend. Invite a friend to watch us. Yes. With us. Come on. Hang out with us.
Starting point is 01:19:00 We're so fun. We're so fun. Get a cup of coffee. Yeah. We think we're fun. That's part of the problem. We might be like one of those weirdies. We probably are. We think we're fun. That's part of the problem. We might be like one of those weirdies. We probably are.
Starting point is 01:19:08 We think we're not weird. We think we're fun. But in all actuality, everybody's like, when is this going to be over? And I'm not coming back. Love you guys. See you Friday. Bye.
Starting point is 01:19:20 Real talk. Real talk. Bye.
