hello and welcome to the hope hotline yes we are glad to be back we were just saying it feels weird
but we are so happy to be back we're minus vanessa we're minus sarah i don't know when
we're getting sarah back i know just a worker girl sarah's working two jobs right now she's
doing her thing i liked her when she worked only one. Yeah. Because then she could sneak out. Because we fit in that.
Exactly.
So those who are missing Sarah, you're not alone.
We miss Sarah too.
Yeah.
But someday, maybe someday, we'll get her back.
Vanessa is, she'd be back from Mexico today.
Yeah.
She was gone.
We got Talia.
We got Tracy.
Tracy, I like that shirt.
Hey.
Not the T-shirt.
I like the flannel.
You do not like the T-shirt that says,
Perfect Love Casts Out Fear.
No, we don't like that one.
I did not see that.
I was joking.
Yeah, thank you.
I like that flannel.
Is that Christmas?
No, this one I got for the fall.
I feel like we're very fall today
look at us with our like a fall colors we are I don't know that's true I just wanted to wear a
sweater I know it's flipping freezing well it's not flipping freezing for those of you who live
up north it's freezing you'll mock us true um because what is it? 56, 62?
It's 62 right now, but.
But it feels like.
Cold.
Cold.
Feels way colder than that.
It does.
I posted a picture of me doing my Bible study this morning by the fire.
That was so nice.
It was so cozy.
It was so cozy.
We had last night of fire and tonight of fire.
And I didn't have to have my doors open.
I wanted to have it because normally Tom makes me open the door. Rightared's the same way he will not allow but um it was super cozy
and somebody in pennsylvania goes it's colder here no duh i know i love that but no duh yeah
we know i'm not saying that i'm in the Arctic temperatures of Pennsylvania.
Right.
But we also, it's like 90 some days.
So like we go from the extremes.
Well, Monday, or excuse me, Monday.
Yeah.
What's today, Wednesday?
Monday, I'm sitting at Yuppie Bowl with my workout partner, which is none of them.
Not me.
I'm sitting there.
Me and Natalia decided we had earned, because it was a horrible workout,
we earned a yuppie bowl.
100%.
And we're sitting out there just no jackets.
Nice.
Beautiful.
Cool as a cucumber.
It was like 75, something like that.
Perfect.
Heaven.
The next day, 50 degrees was the high.
I'm not okay. I'm not okay.
I'm not okay.
Check on your Florida friends, people, because we're not okay.
Yeah, you checked on us for Ian and Colleen.
Where are you now?
We were fine then.
Where are you now?
You should be concerned about us being able to make it through these temperatures without hypothermia.
Right.
Exactly.
It's not pretty.
So we are now entering into our third season.
Official, official season three.
Here we are.
Cannot believe it.
Cannot believe it.
It's so exciting.
Two years, man.
Three years.
Well, no, two years.
Two full years going into our third, correct?
This is our third season.
Can't believe two years.
Two full years. And our third, correct? This is our third season. I can't believe two years. Two full years.
And here's the thing.
If Mark Zuckerberg does what he says he's going to do.
I don't even understand.
We might.
We just might be able to see who actually watches the podcast.
Can you believe that? And we might just be able to be a normal people.
Grow normally without being blocked like that would be
nice that'd be incredible it'd be nice just to be able to be treated fairly that's all we're asking
for because man we are jacked up around here we are church we are those algorithms hate us but
it'd be interesting it'll be interesting to see when we can say whatever we want without being
penalized,
what that's going to look like.
Mark Zuckerberg says he's lifting, so we'll see.
But go ahead, third season.
All right, so because we love Hope so much, we did something. I don't even know what they're doing.
We did something really, really special for her.
So if nobody enjoys this, I'm sorry, but Hope will.
Cheers to season three.
You've done this before didn't you do this for me my birthday I've never done this in my entire life this was this was the most embarrassing thing I've ever done in my life you're not chewing
where I can hear you listen here I'll turn up on that thing everybody trust me everybody else can
hear me oh they can oh yeah. Am I supposed to...
Is this what you told me I might cry about?
Yes, but just wait.
TV's all the way up.
I even picked crunchy food for you.
Oh, my gosh.
Hope we don't have to go back and re-watch this.
I am going to go back and re-watch this.
And you're taking big bites, like everybody.
Like, what the heck?
I'm trying so hard right now.
But I'm trying to do
it fast because i told the girls like one minute i said 30 seconds and i was so then i'm like listen
this is this goes to my heart i know this speaks like to my heart like i posted a mukbang this
morning i know i know i know i know i know i like, hope she's fasting because then she'll really enjoy it.
I am enjoying it.
I love you, Vanessa.
Even in Mexico.
Oh my gosh. I love it.
Oh, that's freaking funny.
Oh, my gosh.
That is...
So the inside scoop here is she could not find American food this whole time,
so she's been eating tacos this whole trip,
and she finally found American food.
Oh, my gosh.
So this is like she's living her best life right now.
Is that Jeff?
I don't know.
I bet it's Jeff. There's somebody left. I have tears. You that Jeff? I don't know. Hey, that bitch is Jeff.
There's somebody left.
I have tears.
You're right.
I am crying.
Oh, my gosh.
I love it.
Knocked it out, Lee.
I'm in the car.
Oh, wait.
I love this thing.
I have gone Wendy's, and it is 10.30 in the morning.
They closed Wendy's.
Where's Wendy's?
Mine's by my house. So let me eat this for you what's
the newest one wait wait do not tell me you spit that food out oh no oh no
it's so awkward oh my gosh it is pretty freaking good
what
i'm so sorry whoever is watching this
this is embarrassing future talia. I'm so sorry.
Okay, one more bite and then we'll go on to fries.
Talia thoroughly enjoyed this.
Wait.
I got the words right there.
There's a crunch.
That's the crunch.
That's what everybody says.
Uh-huh.
Uh-huh.
I know.
I didn't talk, but I was thinking the whole time.
Fries are next.
All right, let's eat some fries.
Oh my gosh.
Sweet and sour.
Why don't you guys talk?
Because you're not supposed to.
No, you do.
You do talk.
Not on my mukbangs.
I wanted you to hear all the crunchiness.
You'll have to rewatch it.
It's very crunchy.
Did you purposely pick all that stuff?
Yes.
I literally got an Instacart order, and the lady didn't even know I was making a mukbang.
But that was the whole point.
Oh, my gosh.
So you did Instacart just to do a mukbang?
Just so I could do a mukbang.
That's special.
I know.
How sweet is that?
That's how committed I am, guys.
Let me know.
I will gladly make more.
No, I will not. Thank you for watching me shove food in my face
Love you
Season 3
Here we go guys
We can only go up from here
I'm pretty sure she is right
We did do a mukbang before
For my birthday
Did you invite me?
You were the one who created it
It was Norma and it was Sarah and Tempest and me For my birthday. Yes, we did. Did you invite me? Yes. You were the one who created it.
It was Norma and it was... Sarah and Tempest and me.
A mukbang?
Yeah.
My birthday.
Hey, listen, I'll take them all day long.
Okay, good.
Because I don't remember that.
I only watch two people who mukbang.
Right.
You have your people.
Yeah.
I only have two people that I watch.
Although I do watch this girl me and me and uh Vanessa
watch this girl called small Sam small oh okay um she's lost 250 pounds I almost said 250,000 pounds
that would be impressive but 250 pounds yeah okay and that's really in four years, she's become an influencer.
That's impressive.
It's impressive.
It is.
She started in 2020.
She started losing weight in 2020.
She's lost 250 pounds.
That's a lot.
She's documented everything.
But then what she does is she goes to different restaurants, not restaurants, like fast foodies
and stuff like that.
She tells you how to go.
Same song.
Is she a blondie?
She's a blondie.
Yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about.
She's good.
She looks so good, too, for losing that much weight.
Well, she's had major surgery.
Oh, okay, okay, okay.
She has had arms, uppers, arms, and now she's going for the lower.
Because she had such loose skin.
Okay.
Yeah, you have to.
It's a lot.
Well, you can't wear clothes when
you've lost 250 pounds yeah because how does it even fit right they don't fit right and it's not
comfortable no so yeah no if you lose that kind of weight you need to get surgery 100 and so you
can be comfortable in your own skin because it's rough yeah but she's actually really good i don't want i i i don't look at i'm
not a big instagrammer i mean i i like social media but i try and be very cautious on how much
time i spend on it yeah but i don't watch a lot of people and i'm not subscribed to a lot of people
yeah so um you've your people i have my people but like i mean obviously adalas and magalas but
even them i hardly i think i've seen two days of maga obviously Adalys and Magalys, but even them, I hardly,
I think I've seen two days of Adalys, but Adalys is because of her fasting.
She's had some, if you guys are fasting, Adalys has had some really good stuff.
She's actually done two nights.
This is the third day of the fast, correct?
Yes, we're on day three.
Yes.
Yeah. the third day of the fast, correct? Yes, we're on day three. Yes. So on her first two days,
she's like talked to people, talked it through, like I love last night's, which is like something
I've always said. If she was talking about fasting and your attitude while you're fasting,
what is the attitude? Because you're really fasting for multiple reasons. And all of it,
for the most part, is so that you grow closer to the Lord.
And in order to grow closer to the Lord, you have to lose you in the process.
So the old man is dying, but the spirit man is rising.
Well, how in the world, and that's me paraphrasing what she said.
She didn't say that.
But basically, that's what you're doing.
Yeah. She was saying how your attitude and why you're fasting,
if you're going to be rude and ugly and mean,
then just eat the burger because there's no point in fasting.
You're not fulfilling what the goal is, which is to die to your flesh.
And that's the greatest thing about fasting, is that
the more you die to the flesh, the more
clearer your spirit man hears from the Lord.
Well, you're wasting your time, because if you're
acting ugly, the carnal nature
is rising above the spirit man,
and there's no point in doing it. Just eat the burger.
Just eat the burger.
Just eat the burger.
And then get back on the horse.
I mean, I'm not...
I would be far better not to be a quitter.
Right.
But if you can't do it, then just don't do it.
Because back in the day when I first started fasting,
I'm just saying a cup of coffee can make me grouchy.
That's how big my carnal nature was.
Yeah.
Or not being able to eat sugar.
Right, right.
Because there are times where,
you know,
I would want to fast for long,
long,
long periods,
months on end.
Yeah.
Not just for a,
you know,
a week or whatever.
So I would,
uh,
so in order to make it really hard for me,
I'd like eliminate sugar for three months.
That's tough.
That is pretty wild. you want to talk about not
getting grouchy but we're not going to eat sugar yeah like when i say sugar there's sugar in
everything everything right so you like but i would do desserts and treats and like so you
can't have a coffee if you drink creamer right right because the creamer is full sugar right
and who's going to drink coffee without creamer it's just if you literally do it i remember doing that daniel fast yeah i like to
kill somebody that one was a toughie i literally had to keep raining my flesh in yeah at the last
i think last three days of it i didn't eat a solitary thing I was like I'm so done with
berries and no I didn't even eat fruit oh really what'd you do for the Daniel fast
I just did because he had no there was no meat nothing from an animal oh only things grown but
I think the way I did it is I didn't even do fruits if I remember right so I literally did it so that
was it just vegetables pretty much oh it was hard I didn't know that it was terrible
it was a toughie yeah but now they do Daniel fasts where they have recipe books yeah right
that's not the Daniel fast like you literally it has to be hard it has to be something like
you're sacrificially giving up something.
And you like vegetables too.
So it's not even like, yeah.
But after a while.
Right.
Of course.
Like anything.
You can only do so much.
I think it was the last three days I said, forget it.
And I think the fast was up at midnight.
I think I did it from midnight, the first of the, whatever it was.
I started at midnight. I was, I was from midnight, the first of the, whatever it was. I started at
midnight. I was, I was sitting there waiting, watching the clock, watching the clock for
midnight because I had planned what I was going to eat. Oh my gosh. I literally have never not
done a fast where it didn't mean something or it didn't, I didn't come out better than I was
before. Yeah. So you might want to not have the burger.
True.
Just don't have the burger.
Yep.
Do the hard thing.
Do the hard thing.
Do the hard thing.
It will pay off in spades.
But watch her right now.
Even her, she had, I watched two of her, yesterday and today I looked at some of her stories and she has two really good stories
on there
about fasting
from doctors or
people who medically can tell you
the good things from fasting
like for me
me just fasting two days a week last year
which I'm doing again this year
because the Lord told me I had to
which I was pretty sad about that I'll be honest with you
I was like okay Lord how do you want me to fast this year the same Lord told me I had to, which I was pretty sad about that. I'll be honest with you. I was like, okay, Lord, what do you want me, how do you want me to fast this year?
The same as you did last year. Great. Great. Are you sure? Great. Did I hear you right?
No. But I'll gladly do it because what I've seen from last year to this year was monumental, but you sit there and you, you go, man, I'll never not fast. Right. Ever.
It will be, which it's been a part of my life. I can't even remember it not being a part of my life,
but, uh, you always are changing and evolving with it, hopefully in, in, in growing and,
in different things. So, um, it will force your hand too. yeah if you don't fast if you didn't decide to do
if you didn't decide to like some people just do the first month where it'll be like 10 i've known
people who only did it for two weeks um they fasted the first two weeks i've known people
who've done i've did i did 40, the first 40 days one time of fasting.
Me and Tom did that once.
I've done the 21 days several times.
But do what the Lord tells you to do.
Don't do it because everybody else is doing it.
I love that about Pastor Rodney.
Because Pastor Rodney is like, if you're supposed to do it, then you do it.
If you're not, then you don't.
And you only do it the way God tells you to do it.
But I don't think you can go wrong with fasting.
And I think if you ask the Lord, would you like me to fast?
I don't think he's probably going to tell you no.
I know.
He might not tell you to do the 21 day, but he will tell you to do it.
Right.
But make it a part of your life.
It should be a part of who you are.
Right.
And your walk with the Lord. So what were you going to say about something?
I don't know, but that is great advice, especially if you're the type of person that always has to
do what everybody else is doing. Sometimes it's more beneficial for you not to do what everybody
else is doing because that is like carnally like you want to be a part of it so badly.
Yes. That that's why you're doing it. Right. And so I know I've talked to a lot of people about a lot of the women that go to our Tuesday
group just to kind of check in and see where they're at. And a lot of them are praying about
what God asked them to do. A lot of them are doing what they didn't do last year. They're
either adding to it or it's different, but it's all based on what God told them to do.
And I think you should do that. Absolutely. And if you don't know what to do, like if you're like,
I want to fast, but I can't tell if God's taught just fast, just try it fast, a meal, pray.
And then maybe through the fast, you'll find out where God's like, yes, I did want you
to fast and I want you to keep going.
So sometimes we're so on our way, like you were saying earlier, this will help you get
the carnality out of the way to be able to hear God more clearly if you do struggle with
that.
Yep.
And you know what I do a lot of, not a lot of times, but you know what I do?
I don't want to be like everybody else.
I know.
It's true.
It's true.
Very true.
I don't want to be like everybody else.
The Lord knows that I don't want to be like everybody else.
And it's a good attribute, in my opinion, to not want to be like everybody else.
Because there's something to be said for you being able to stand on your own and sometimes face adversity for not being like everybody else.
Sometimes when the thing is, is when let's, I'll give you an example. When everybody is doing a
21 day fast and you're the only one that's not doing it, but you might be doing something else,
but differently than you, you know, you're the, you're the one that stands out. Right.
And it's not always the greatest
because people are looking at you going,
what's wrong with you?
Or why aren't you doing it?
Okay, the tough thing is to be able to go,
yeah, I'm not doing that.
And it's not that I'm not doing it,
like a snotty attitude.
It's more or less like, I'm not doing that.
That's not what I feel like I'm supposed to do.
And I'm not going to do that.
Like if you can learn
to be comfortable. And that's one of the reasons why I don't want to be like everybody else,
because there are times in life where you have to stand up and you have to be different from
everybody else. And the more that you train yourself to be different and being okay to say,
that's, that's not what I'm going to do.
And not saying, that's okay for you to do it, but I'm not.
No, you don't even say that.
You don't say, it's okay.
Because then what you're not doing is you're appeasing the room
and making things easier for yourself to be able to say, I'm not doing it.
You need to be confident and say, I'm not doing that.
And that's it.
That's hard.
It's very hard because most people want to accommodate the room,
which puts the onus back off of them as well.
So it makes the room comfortable and then it makes them comfortable.
You need to be able to make the room not comfortable as well as yourself
and still be okay in that and not be rude
and not be putting down the people that
are doing it. Right. But being like, I'm not doing that. Yeah. I never want to lose that.
Yeah. And the great thing is, is sometimes God's not going to let you do, which maybe that's the
reason why the girls aren't doing it the same way this year, um, as they've done it in the past.
But it's a good thing to be able to say, you know what, that was last year.
I'm doing something different this year.
And I'm okay with that.
And not that, but it's okay that you're doing it.
No, you don't put that in there.
And then it also goes to the people,
like if you are asking people like,
oh, are you doing it this year?
And if somebody does say, no, I'm not,
like don't look into it.
Don't read into it.
But understand that they have their,
if you trust them in leadership or you trust them as a friend and they're studying read into it. Understand that they have their print. If you
trust them in leadership or you trust them as a friend and they're studying the Bible and you
know that, just trust them. Don't worry. Don't start like second guessing your decision. Don't
start second guessing what they're doing. And don't change what you're doing. And don't change
it. Yeah. If God told you do it, man, do it. Be confident in your walk with God because Because you'll be very confident in hearing his voice,
the more confident you are in what you're doing.
And if you miss it, it's okay.
Absolutely.
God will fix it.
Absolutely.
Everything's always fixable.
Always.
A lot of people don't think that, but it is.
Everything's always fixable.
It really is.
And it doesn't really matter.
And it really doesn't matter.
At the end of the day, it just really doesn't matter. Especially if you have a pure heart in it. If you're like, I don't know, like I don't know what to do. Like it's then just try
things. If you're an entrepreneur, that's how you survive. So, um, if you've never had to be in that
position before, like we know, cause we've had to try many things and fail and then you don't
really fail cause you pick it up and you figure it back out again. Um, but yeah, I think that's
your, that is definitely the hardest thing is to not justify why you're not doing what everybody
else is doing. That's a huge, like, I'm sure people are listening right now and they're like,
oh my gosh, I can't imagine like just saying no and not explaining themselves. Like they probably
feel awkward right now. You saying that. Yeah, probably. Yeah. But there's something good in it. I mean, literally. Yeah, for sure.
There's something very good in it. So learn to do it because there'll be times in life that you're
going to have to do it and then walk away and you're going to have to be okay just walking away. A lot of people are people pleasers.
Right.
Correct.
It's not good.
I mean, you should not want to harm people.
You shouldn't want to like hurt people,
but you need to be able to do what you believe in and that be okay.
And if it hurts people along the way,
then they need to figure that part out for themselves.
As long as you didn't
purpose that, I don't know what to tell you. Life is okay. But if you're fasting right now,
we get it. All of us are to a certain extent or some degree. And that's one of the good things I
love about the beginning of the year too is a lot of times we're all, but don't just make it be the
first of the year either. That's the other thing I wanted to say. Because make it be, a lot of times
that's all it is for people. They did their 21 days and they're done. Well, God's in the rest
of the year. And that's great and all that you did that, But be about it. Like, be about it.
If you're standing on certain things and you're believing for certain things
and you're not seeing them the way you want to see them,
there's doubt and unbelief in the camp to a certain extent.
And the great way to get rid of doubt and unbelief
and to see things that you're believing for to happen is to fast.
And people will say, well, I fasted and it happened.
So fasting moves God.
No, that's not how it works.
It didn't happen because you fasted.
What happened is the doubt and unbelief that you had and you were carrying,
you were able to remove that and eradicate it
because you became a more spiritual
minded individual. Your mind was being renewed. You had the mind of Christ. So when you were
standing and believing on that thing while you were fasting or just after the fast and you saw
things come to pass, it's because your fasting removed your carnal nature. And because that carnal nature was gone, doubt and belief were also removed.
And your believing in what God can do rose up.
And that's what made it happen.
A lot of people think fasting moves God.
Fasting does not move God.
But it does move you, and it gets you out of the way.
And that's why you see the results that you want to see. A lot of times people don't see them in
the middle of the fast. They see things happen after. So just know while you're going through it
and you're sitting there going, nothing's happening. Why am I doing this? Keep moving
forward. Don't quit. And when it is done, watch and see things unfold.
But if you need God to do certain things,
big things, little things, whatever it is,
if you need God to do certain things in your life
or your family's life, then apply fasting.
And you will see mountains move.
And it won't because of the fasting
that the mountains moved. It'll be because
you removed you out of the way. That's the biggest thing. A lot of people don't realize that.
Yeah. I think it's really important to keep saying that because so many people will come into
Christianity and hear about fasting and everybody's like, I don't even know what to do.
I just want to, you know, see God move. And so it's really, I think it's really important. We keep saying the same thing over and over again until it like is drilled into people's
house and to their heads, because I do think that you get kind of caught up in the, if I starve
myself, then God will do something. Yeah. And then you'll see that my sacrifice for him, right?
You're not sacrificing for him. You're sacrificing for you. Yeah, I know. It's just like tithing. Tithing's not for the church. It's
for you. People don't get that. They think the church wants their money. Maybe some churches do,
but the ones that are pure in heart and that really want to see you succeed, it's for you.
Because God's going to meet the need regardless of whether you give or not. And that's what people do not understand.
You're not helping anybody out.
If the man builds the house, he labors in vain.
But if the Lord builds the house,
then it is not our job to make sure that the doors stay open.
He'll make sure that the doors stay open because it's his house.
Like, I don't care.
I don't care if anybody pays tithes outside of the fact of I want
you to prosper. That's it. That's all that matters. I love you enough that I want to see you do well
and succeed and excel in life. But it ain't changing my life in any way, shape or form.
Like, I'm going to keep being successful. I'm going to keep seeing God move mightily in my finances.
Like, literally, when I told Tom some stuff today,
like, it's amazing how God just...
People need to pay their tithe.
That's all I'm going to say.
But you need to fast, too.
Want to do the sharing?
Because now I've got 30 minutes left which is
we're back to normal guys i know we'll go we'll go quick all right so we are on facebook and listen
i don't know what's going on with good old marky mark zuckerberg um but something's going on and i
it's like actually mouth on the ground seeing him talk about this stuff so um i'm glad we didn't
remove ourself completely from Facebook.
But until they start doing something better for us,
let's keep going on Rumble because Rumble has been our platform
that they haven't done anything crazy on.
They're about to really – Rumble is about to bust.
Like it's scary.
That's one of the reasons why Facebook isn't doing some of the stuff they're doing.
Yeah, makes sense.
YouTube will be next.
Yep.
Because Rumble.
Is killing it.
Well, they're doing some pretty crazy stuff.
Like good or bad?
Good stuff.
Okay, good.
Good, good, good.
Some good things are, they're like expanding.
I mean, it's.
They have to be.
They're going to be.
They're doing the right thing.
They're going to be a force to be reckoned with.
Amen.
From what Tom was telling me, like it's pretty amazing.
They just brought on somebody
with lots and lots of money.
All right.
I love that.
Good.
Do the right thing
and good things happen to you.
Yeah, exactly.
Imagine that.
All right.
So yeah, so Facebook,
if you're on there,
you can just do a little like, share,
and then I'll drop the link in real quick.
And then you can head over to Rumble
because we have got a live chat
going on over there
and everybody's feisty today.
They're ready to go.
They're ready for these questions.
They love the mukbang.
Court's in there.
Courtney, you could have stayed and hung out with us,
but no, you had to go to the live chat.
She did give us $10.
Thank you so much, Courtney.
I appreciate you.
Order in the court.
Thank you.
Order in the court.
Yep, she's adding to our Rumble accounts.
We've got some savings in there. But yeah, so if you are on R. She's, um, she's adding to our Rumble accounts. We've got some,
got some savings in there. Um, but yeah, so if you are on Rumble, Hey guys, it's good to see you.
Make sure you like this, um, podcast. It's right over there by the logo and the name and everything following, make sure you're following. Um, sometimes when you're here all the time,
you forget to just click on the follow, but, um, we want to make sure you do that. There is the
option to repost now. So if you can click that repost, I'm not fully sure how it works. If it's like a TikTok thing where we'll
get, if the more everybody repost, the more it'll be shown. So let's try it today. Let's see what
happens. See if we can get these numbers up and get the podcast shared to other people so we can
get more people saved because that's what this is all about is to understand how the world works
in a Christian understanding of this, because hope has such a great understanding of the word.
And we have so many questions and people try to separate, you know, what's happening in the Bible
versus what's happening in life and everything comes to Jesus. So, um, let's get this shared.
If you are on YouTube, come on over to Rumble and make sure you subscribe before you leave
so that you can get the notifications.
And then Blackrobe available also.
And then Audio Podcast will be later on today.
And that's Spotify, Apple Music, all that kind of stuff.
So you can head over there anytime.
Send in your questions.
So we've got some new questions that came in over the break.
And we would love to get more questions.
And somebody in our Abide chat today
sent in a really great question about a scripture.
And if you didn't read it in the context
of what Jesus was saying,
it would have been really confusing.
So it was really cool.
We all came together, we got some commentary
and we're able to understand that.
So like in those instances,
it'd be really cool if you sent it along
because if you had a question,
probably other people will
have a question. And sometimes before they even get to that part of scripture, they'll already
have that understanding and there'll be no like catch up, you know, there'll be no issues when
they're reading it. They'll actually understand what the context was before the confusion comes
in. So next is our Instagram. So we are definitely on Instagram, head over there and make sure you're
following us and checking us out. And if you ever, um, you know, want to share one of our things and
you can just add the link to rumble. That's super easy to do. We do that for church as well. And if
you ever want to do that, that would be really cool and have other people find it. We're on
Tik TOK. We've got a bunch of Tik TOKs up. Um, we're kind of pulling different highlights from
last season. And then now we'll start heading into the third season too. We're kind of pulling different highlights from last season.
And then now we'll start heading into the third season too.
We'll start, you know, sprinkling those in.
But we'll have some oldies in there.
So if you are on TikTok, make sure you follow us, like, and repost those.
Get those in everybody else's feed.
That would be really cool.
And we've got our merch, of course.
And everything is available at foundationchurchfl.com.
And just click shop or you can get it at church on Sunday.
So make sure you come to church on Sunday because we would love to see you.
And make sure you say hi to us.
And that is all.
Coming back.
Hey, you know what you can do for me?
Can you pull up Adalys' Instagram?
Yes.
Really quick?
Yes.
Because when I said that, some people are like, I don't know who that is.
I'm sure.
And then other people are like, because she's come here and she's such a big part of our lives.
Some people are like, yeah, I know who that is.
But for the ones that don't.
Right.
Or watching the replay or anything like that.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
She's a great wealth of knowledge too.
She's a powerful, powerful preacher and teacher and just
I mean I love watching her she really does she has great stuff and um and she's real that's the
thing guys so genuine and real like what you see is what you get all the time doesn't change like just such a phenomenal and her sister is just like
but yeah thank you for that adalas shuttlesworth adalas and then it's underscore shuttlesworth
you cannot go wrong if you watch her and jonathan obviously we love him too but uh
adalas and magalas which magalalas is Magalas love on there.
But, but just tune into them.
Cause like you could see the ones like go put it back.
The one on the furthest right.
And the one underneath it,
those are the ones that from her talking the past couple of nights about
fasting and stuff.
Great, great, great stuff, you know, but, but very, very real. Yeah. Yeah. I, and I've been
following them since like 2012, um, because that's when they started coming to my parents' church and
they are just who they are. Like they just are. And I always relate really well with people like
that because, um, after about what we're at 13 years, uh, yeah. 13 years. You like people can't fake that long,
you know,
you just can't.
So it's nice that they really are good people,
genuine people,
and they love the Lord.
And it's fun to watch.
It's like for you,
you didn't just follow them.
You also know them personally.
Yeah.
So what happened with Tracy is Tracy knew them by following them.
But then like,
how long ago was it that you got to really meet them
and get to know them? And it's basically the same people, like your brother's best friends with
Magalas's husband, correct? They're pretty close. Yeah, they're pretty close. But yeah. So like
because of him and them, you got to know them and you're like, these people are legit. Yeah.
My brother plays video games. So that's kind of how the inn was from the beginning.
And after that, him and Jonathan became close.
And they all kind of just started meshing.
And then my brother felt like he was him and his wife and family were called to go to Pittsburgh.
So they moved there a few years ago.
And since then has been a part of revival today and just loves them.
And yeah, so I actually.
And our good friends, the Hollands.
Yeah, yeah.
They go there now because they moved from here up there and they're, it's like all, it's, they're for real.
Yeah.
Outside of like them coming to this church, you could say, well, they're, you know, of course they're going to be a certain way, but they're always the same.
No matter when I see them up there or here in Vegas or whatever, it's always the same. Yeah. Good
people. Always just good people. Good people you can follow. Yeah. Like they're true blue. I would,
I can't say that a lot about a lot of pastors because a lot of pastors, how they are in front
of the camera, totally different than, or on the platform, totally different behind the
scenes. Unfortunately, that's really true. That's been my, that has been my experience.
Pastor Rodney is not like that. He's the only one in Adonica. And then his staff, for the most part,
the staff that I know, they're very much like that. I only know a few of them very, very well,
but the ones that I do know, they're the same. And then that, that crew, they're, they're the ones that I only ones I can think of all my
life that I've known that have never been different. They're always the same. I know,
which is sad. It is sad. It's why Tom doesn't play the game. I know. We've never been close
to pastors. That's, and I grew up in church and i was friends with the pastors all my life and they were
not the same people in the pulpit as they were i know not good i know i know but that's why tom
won't play the game yeah you can't you you can't it's not healthy no it's not healthy for the
person and it's not healthy for the people that are on that go to the church right we're all on
the same team together so that's what people
forget like you're all on if you're going to church together you're all on the same team together yeah
yeah so but a lot of times it becomes the quarterback right right and everybody else is
no the quarterback needs a team yeah it's hard to do that without a whole team behind you.
Everybody being successful. So let's go to the first question. Do it. Guys, I'm seriously so happy to be back. I know it feels good. I've missed you. Even though I can't read a word
that you're saying right now. Oh my gosh. They have access to all of it. You guys miss us.
That's why. Oh my gosh gosh if you didn't miss us
don't say anything yeah don't just say it if you do just play just play it along yeah yeah
oh my gosh it feels so good to be back okay first question um so we are hitting some of like the
like the first ones that were before right while we were on break i guess yeah yep um. Because I finished up all the ones before break.
Yes, you did.
Before we did Christmas.
I finished all of them up,
and people didn't really send in anything
during the month of December, did they?
It's been quiet.
Nope.
Okay, good.
All right.
So we have questions since during over the two weeks
or whatever.
So some of these, you're going to be like,
if it's yours, you're going to be like,
wow, I didn't have to wait.
You didn't. And there's reasons for that. Most people knew we
were going to be gone for two weeks. Yeah. So, okay. What is the most effective Christian
practices, including prayers to overcome all my painful memories? I'm going to tell you this.
A lot of times people like to hang on to painful memories
because it validates their behavior
or it makes them feel like they have now become
their painful memory.
What do I mean by that? It's your painful memory is actually what,
um,
is who you are.
For example,
you'll have people who were drug addicted and now they'll say,
I'm an addict for the rest of my life.
Right?
Well,
being an addict is their identity.
You'll have people who were rape victims
and now they're a victim for the rest of their life. It's their identity. Okay. That painful
memory, and I'm not saying this is the case because I don't know what your painful memory is,
but the word is clear. You shouldn't be focused on your painful memory anymore. And you'll say, well, that's hard and that's mean.
But I'm going to tell you, it's not hard and it's not mean.
It's the best advice I can possibly give to you to free you from yourself.
Because your painful memory, if it hasn't already, will take you to depths that you do not want to go,
which is one of them is depression.
Sometimes it's anxiety.
Sometimes it's anxiety. Sometimes it's sickness.
What you think on is what your body will respond to.
A merry heart is good medicine, right?
So if your heart is full of joy,
then medicinally speaking, it's good for your body.
And your body will respond to that.
It's like people will say, if you have surgery or if you're going through cancer
or if you have a terminal this or a terminal that, whatever it is,
what they'll tell you is people who think positive
when they're walking through those situations,
they tend to heal faster, respond quicker, and live longer
versus the ones that are negative, negative, negative. Okay. So that's all of this,
getting rid of painful memories. Why are we hanging on to them? You need to ask yourself
this question. Why am I hanging on to that? What purpose is there behind
this that is good? If it's not good, then we get rid of it. If there's nothing good that comes from
a thought, the Bible tells us to take captive of every thought and make it obedient to the word of
God. Okay. And if you're not doing that, then you're not abiding in the word.
You're being contradictive to the word.
And second of all, you're causing yourself
a lot of heartache and potentially sickness,
depression, mental illness of some sort.
All of it though is your choice.
All of it is your design.
You could say, well, I didn't do what happened to me.
So it's not my fault. I didn't, my dad beat me when I was younger. That's not my fault.
That is true. What is your fault though, is what you do with life's experiences
and how you move forward from them. And I'm going to give you an example of this before I get into the word.
And I'm going to give you two great examples of things.
Okay, I know a Christian woman, a beautiful Christian woman.
When I say beautiful, I mean outwardly she's very beautiful.
She's in, I think she's in her 60s or 70s now.
When she was younger, she put herself,
and this is all from her own words, not me, okay?
This is her story that she shared with me.
I'm not going to tell anybody her name
because I don't have permission to do that,
but I do have permission,
but I can share the story without, whatever.
She was younger.
She put herself in a very precarious position,
and she admits that she put herself in this position. It ended up one night, she put herself in a very precarious
position. And in that, she was raped by multiple men. She became pregnant. She had the child. She
did not, that's one of the things like she knew, even though all of the things would tell you,
if you're raped, you can have an abortion.
She still knew that was murder.
And she knew that what had happened to her,
albeit was wrong,
she knew doing another deed that would be as wrong,
if not more wrong,
because it's murder was not the way to fix the
problem. She was not married. She was a single woman. So she had this child and she gave the
child up for adoption. Now, when this woman tells her story, she does not tell it as a victim would tell it. She tells it of the redeeming grace of
what the Lord does when like terrible things happen and you're able to walk through that
experience and come out on the other side a victor, not a victim. And through that, a beautiful baby
is born that gave another family that she gave it to,
that was not going to have a child, gave them life.
Because now they have something that they so desperately wanted,
which was a newborn baby that they could not have.
So positive, positive, right?
And another positive, when she got much older
and the child did as well, they reunited.
And they are very close.
Even though this child is very close
with their adoptive parents,
she now has relationship with this child
from a horrible experience.
How do you respond to the situation that either you've put
yourself in or Satan comes and he steals, steals, and destroys? So he's tried to take you out for
whatever reason by however he wanted to. Maybe you grew up in a very violent home. So, you know,
you were mistreated all your life.
That's self Satan's deeds and things.
But how are you going to respond to that?
How are you going to, are you going to have painful memories?
Are you going to look at that and say, you know what?
That life experience will catapult me to be a better parent, to be a stronger man or woman of God,
and to show the true love of Christ versus what I know to be true as I grew up.
I mean, how do you look at those things?
And for me, that changes everything.
I know a young woman that was molested at, I think, first or second grade.
They were molested and lived with it for a very long period of time,
didn't share it with anybody until much older in life.
And instead of being angry and mad
at the person that molested them,
they forgave them and they have not looked back and are actually very successful
in life. And they don't talk about it. That's not who they are. They're not a victim. They will,
if it's ever asked, like, has anything bad ever happened to you? And that subject is brought up,
they won't shy away from it, but it's not their identity. It's not what
makes them. They have so many other things that God's and gifts and talents that God's given them.
Those are the ones that they've chose to focus on. Those are the ones they've chose to excel in.
They haven't chosen to allow being a victim be their identity. And that's what they focus on
and share and deal with. Life is a series of decisions.
And you can make good ones or you can make bad ones.
And the bad ones are when they keep you down
and they keep you under the thumb of the devil.
Those are the bad ones.
And being a victim and living with hurtful memories
or painful memories are what keeps you down.
Satan's got you right where he wants you.
He really does.
But you can get away from all of it if you down. Satan's got you right where he wants you. He really does. But you can get away
from all of it if you use the word. So let's look at what some scriptures are. Because see, the thing
is, is you can pray all you want to. And the prayer is great. But the word is life. It actually says
the word is the breathing, living okay the Bible is it is life
and its words do not return void if you put them and apply them to your life and
just don't read them as words on a page they will radically change you forever
but what a lot of people do is when they get down you know when they read their
Bible or they you know a lot of times people just do those daily breads, which is just a devotion.
It's one scripture and then the rest of it is written by somebody who tells you what
that scripture means.
Okay, that's not true Bible study.
You get in the word, you study it out, and you don't just do your chapter for the day.
You get in and you understand what each of those scriptures mean and you apply them.
But what's way more important is when you're going and walking through something,
you look up and you study the scriptures that actually apply to where your life is at in that moment.
So, like, for example, if I am walking through a financial situation,
I'm not going to go to Genesis.
Genesis chapter 1, verse one.
Okay, that's ridiculous.
If I'm going through a financial situation,
I'm going to look up the scriptures
where the word very clearly tells me
that God will meet every single need that I have
according to his riches and glory.
I'm going to look at all the scriptures
that show me what my promises are
and what do I have to do in order to receive those promises?
That's what studying is.
That's what people need to do, but that's not what people do.
They just get, if they read the Bible, which very few people do,
if they read it, they just get in their chapter.
That doesn't even apply to what they're walking through at that very moment.
So what's the point?
Makes no sense.
You think some of this is elementary.
But it's not.
It's not elementary.
Because people kind of just don't.
They walk through life without processing and thinking things through.
So that's why you got me.
Amen.
I'll process.
Listen, like I told my son,
if you just let me make all your decisions for you,
you'll live a great life.
Listen.
And he told me to go pound sand.
He'll learn one day.
One day.
He'll come back and be like,
you were right, mom.
Yeah, he will.
I'm counting on that.
I hope he's not watching right now. I hope so too would i'm counting on that i hope he's not watching i hope so too
i'm counting on that okay so let me let's let's look at some scriptures because these scriptures
are going to free you from you and your painful memories because you have the right
to tell the devil no every time he pops one of these things into your mind, you own your mind.
I love it.
Jonathan says, your mind is a terrible master.
True.
And you think about that.
Your mind is a terrible master.
Don't let it master you.
You take control over your mind.
It's your mind.
Don't let something control it.
That's crazy to me.
I literally, I mean, obviously I submit to Tom, okay?
But I will never let somebody have authority over me
with my biblical spiritual walk.
Like even Tom, if he tells me not to do something
that's biblically incorrect,
I'm gonna tell him to go pound sand.
No one's gonna have authority over me and my walk with God.
Nobody.
They don't have the right.
And I'm definitely not letting Satan
get an inroad in on that, okay?
I am responsible for me and my walk with God
and my relationship with him
and how far I go spiritually speaking in ministry.
And everybody has ministry.
Every single one of us have a calling.
And your ministry is being held back by you and your mind.
Don't let Satan do that.
Like, I would never let something own me.
Never. Never let something own me. Never. Never let
something own you. Love yourself and respect yourself enough. Because look, think about this.
All that God did, the price that was paid and what he bought you with, his own life. He bought you
with his own life so you have free will to serve him and to the highest level and extent. And if you don't do that,
it's kind of a waste because you've let Satan own you, which is crazy to me.
Yep. Think about the price that was paid for you and then love yourself enough to say,
not today. Amen. Not today. Okay. so Isaiah 43, 18 and 19.
It says,
Do not remember the former things,
nor consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing.
Now it shall spring forth.
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert.
That's for you.
You're crazy if you don't take it.
Philippians 3, 13 through 14 says, Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended. And's for you. You're crazy if you don't take it. Philippians 3, 13 through 14 says,
brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended. And this is Paul who was beaten to death,
who killed and murdered people before he was Paul. He was Saul. He was a Pharisee among Pharisees. I
mean, he had done some pretty bad things to have some pretty bad memories, painful memories. He held the coat
of the people that stoned Stephen and watched them and approved it. I mean, he was not a good guy.
Painful memories. He had Christians thrown in jail. Some pretty bad things happened to them.
He had a lot of reasons to have painful memories, to think, I don't even know if I'm worthy to go
into heaven. But he says this,
Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended,
but one thing I do,
forgetting those things which are behind
and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.
I press toward the goal for the prize
of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
That should be your scripture.
Whatever happened to me in the past
or whatever is holding me back,
I'm letting it go
because I am pressing toward the goal for the prize.
And I mean, all of us, like for me,
when I go to heaven,
I want well done, good and faithful servant.
I want those words be spoken over me
from the Lord himself.
Don't you?
But if you let your painful memories hold you back from accomplishing everything he's done,
you may just scrape in.
Who wants that?
Who wants that?
And it's all because you allowed yourself to be robbed.
Don't be robbed.
Second Corinthians 517 says, therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.
Okay, you're new. So that old, it's gone. Old things have passed away. Behold, all things have
become new. You need to like, if you're a woman, you need to take your lipstick and you need to
write that on the mirror of your bathroom. If you're a guy, you need to write that on an index card and put that somewhere
where you pick it up and read that every single day. Every single day, you need to know 2 Corinthians
5 at 17. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. All things have passed away. Behold,
all things have become new. That's you. You have no reason, no right to talk about the past anymore. It's done.
Galatians 2.20 says, I have been crucified with Christ.
It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.
And the life which I now live in the flesh,
I live by faith in the son of God who loved me
and gave himself for me.
Remember the price that was paid for you.
You have no right to hang on to the past.
It's a done deal.
It's gone.
There's nothing in the past that can help you with the future if it's negative.
Only take the good.
And even that, be careful what you take of the good.
Because a lot of times people live in their good past too.
And God's got far better.
They hang on to the good as if that's the best that they can get. The best is
yet to come. It really is. This is my favorite verse, like hands down, like one of my favorite
verses ever. If you live by this verse, if you live by this verse
You can't go wrong for the rest of your life
And it's Isaiah 26 3
A man will be in perfect peace
Whose mind is stayed upon thee
Because he trusteth in thee
If you live by that verse
A man will be in perfect peace
Whose mind is stayed on him
Because he trusts in him
You cannot go wrong whose mind is stayed on him because he trusts in him.
You cannot go wrong.
So if your mind continuously is on him versus your painful past, your painful memory,
you can't be thinking about your painful memories
if your mind is stayed on him.
Facts.
And when your mind stays on him,
that means you trust in him. And skies, that means you trust in him,
and skies will limit when you trust in him.
So I think that's, I mean, there's nothing,
I mean, you guys can add whatever you want to it.
I would appreciate if you have something you can give,
but really at the end of the day,
I think scripture clearly says
you can't be living in your painful memories.
You have no rights.
They're gone.
It's just like sin.
As far as the East is through the West, he remembers it no more.
You need to do the same thing with your painful memories.
And he doesn't know them.
God doesn't know them.
They're gone.
So they need to be gone with you.
But what do you got, Trace? Yeah, go ahead. I don't know them. They're gone. So they need to be gone with you. But what do you
got, Trace? Yeah, go ahead. I don't know if you did this. Isaiah 43, 18. Go ahead. Forget the
former things. Do not dwell on the past. Yeah, I'm doing a new thing. Now it springs up. Do you
not perceive it? Very good. Yeah, that's a good one, too. Perfect. That's a very good one. You
need to write that one down, too, on your mirror. That's a good one, too. Perfect. That's a very good one. You need to write that one down, too, on your mirror.
That's a good one, too, for the mirror.
Dry eraser, too.
You can do a dry erase marker.
On your mirror?
And not even use your lipstick.
What?
Yeah.
So even the guys could do it.
Wait a minute.
You can use a dry erase on your mirror and it doesn't hurt it?
No.
Dry eraser.
I didn't know that.
I mean, sometimes it looks like almost double.
You have to use a black one. But yeah yeah you can just dry erase right on your mirror I'm gonna remember that
yeah there you go that's actually a really good idea because I'm telling you lipstick
personal experience it's not that easy to get off and it's not it's got that wax in there yeah
it's rough yeah dry but that's great you got anything you want to add? Like just having gone through a divorce,
I know people that go through divorces
and have had been cheated on and they do.
They make it their identity.
It feels good because people feel bad for you.
So if you like that, like I hate that.
I hate when people feel bad for me.
So, but it can 100% become your identity.
It's like sickness.
Some people like eventually, if they are sick long enough, it's like sickness. Some people like eventually if they are
sick long enough, it's like they don't want to become well because what, what kind of attention
will they get? Right. Right. Like, yeah. Yeah. And people like make a whole thing about like that
they can't eat certain food and then everybody's like, oh yeah, you can't eat this. I'm so sorry.
And they're like, yeah, no, no, it's okay. And then they bring all their stuff with them and
it becomes, it does, it becomes like an identity thing because they're bored somewhere. And I wasn't ever bored ever a day in my life.
And so maybe that's why I don't like care for people to give me more attention. So when I did
go through that, I, same thing, I only told people where it made sense. But if I met new people,
like when Alexis was around, I wasn't like, oh, we're divorced. That's my stepdaughter. Like I
never, unless it didn't make sense and you could tell they were kind of like trying to understand. I didn't want to ever feel like I
was not being honest either. But so you have to like work that out. But it never was like, oh,
here, let me tell you my sob story. You know, I just, it was always to glorify God if I had to
tell my testimony. And so if that's your mindset on it, it's just an easier way to decipher like
your painful memories. Like obviously that time in my life was painful, but it's almost an easier way to decipher like your painful memories. Like obviously that time,
my life was painful, but I, it's almost as if it didn't happen to me. It's almost as if it
happened to somebody else because God completely healed me of that. So, um, well, and for me,
like when people have done you wrong, the best thing you can do, and I don't mean to be mean,
but the best thing you can do for them, even if it's parents,
is leave them in the dust.
And I don't mean like stomp on them like they're in the dust.
I mean, leave them behind.
Always willing to forgive.
But it's like Tracy always says,
live your best life.
The best thing you can do is not to talk about it,
not to talk about them,
and focus on like
like certainly he's brought new people into your life yeah whether it be you were cheated on so
you know you're what maybe walking through it now and so you're having to but he's brought people
into if you're a believer he's brought people into your life to help fulfill to fill that void until you probably meet the next person that you'll make a better decision
about next time hopefully yeah but um even if it's parents like god will i like even with my mom
my mom went through a tough time so but god put God put, my mom literally has said, God took care of that for me.
Like he put the right people in my life
to fill that void and that gap.
And she was closer and has been closer
to these very people.
Right.
So trust the process, trust him.
But the more you stay locked in on painful memories,
the less you get to focus on the goodness
that he's providing for you
and the goodness that he will provide for you.
Perspective is everything.
Everything.
Everything.
So if you just let them go,
just literally let them go
and then read the word
and don't read it through a filter of a victim or hurt.
Just read it exactly how Hope read it with confidence
and that like you really believe what the word says.
Your whole life will change.
You know, I love one of the things that one of the teachings
that I just recently listened to and stuff like that is a lot of times, a lot of times people this doesn't apply,
but it kind of does.
A lot of times people love to focus on like worry and fear and things like
that.
And all of it applies to doubt and unbelief.
One of the reasons why you focus on the painful memories is because you doubt
the future that God has for you.
Absolutely.
So,
and it's way easier to hang in the back.
It's like people who are in abusive relationships.
Well, they'd rather be in a relationship
than no relationship because they are fearful of,
if I'm out of this relationship,
will I meet somebody better?
This might be the best I can get.
So maybe I should just stay here.
Okay, that's craziness. But one of the things that I
love, I was listening to Kenneth Hagan. And one of the things that he was saying is that people,
he said people with doubt and unbelief. He's like, I just as soon cuss than speak words of doubt and unbelief
because I consider them to be cuss words.
When he hears people or he himself, he's like,
I would never speak doubt and unbelief
because to me that's equivalent to a cuss word.
If we thought like that about victim mentality,
which is doubt and unbelief of what God has for us in our future.
If we thought of doubt and unbelief as like cussing,
which some people are completely fine with cussing,
it's because you don't realize the damage that it does to your witness
and to so many as well as yourself.
Because the word is very clear.
We're to abstain from foolish talk and
babbling and uh and what's the other word it talks about and foul language so if you understood that
cussing was like it's not good to to to use foul language and you then, when he said this, it radically changed me because I will not cuss.
I do not cuss and I will not cuss. It totally changed my perspective of speaking words of
doubt and unbelief. I literally thought to myself, if I thought words of doubt and unbelief were the
same as a cuss word, you will never hear it out of my mouth. If you don't speak doubt and unbelief,
what are you speaking? Faith. So what do you get when you speak faith? What you're believing for. That's how you
have to get rid of painful memories. It's all the same thing. Like what you're focusing on
needs to be eradicated just like, and he even like, he said, I'd rather have. He said, I'd rather have a church full of dope pushers than doubt pushers.
He said, because the dope pushers I can get rid of the doubt pushers because nobody will want to be around them.
Right. The doubt pushers. He's like, everybody wants to go and rally around them and talk to them and work with them and appease them and accommodate them.
He's like a dope pusher.
Nobody wants to be around a doubt pusher.
Everybody wants to accommodate.
He goes, I don't have time.
Right.
One is dangerous.
Not the doubt pusher.
I mean, not the dope pusher.
The dope pusher is not the dangerous one.
The doubt pusher is.
Yeah.
Because with a doubt pusher, you can accomplish nothing. It's like James says to be tossed. It's like you're tossed to and fro
on a wave. Don't don't expect for that man to receive anything, you know, because doubt is like
a wave being tossed to and fro. True. So it's a big deal. Yeah. And that's it. Yeah. OK, so this
is I'm going to do sponsor time and we are already four minutes past and god bless you like laura keller yeah i love seeing her every sunday
oh okay i just want to hug her but it's always during worship i'll come over on like the side
she's beautiful that pastor tom walks out and i'll okay i'll point her out but she's i just
want to hug her like she is like a pint size. I know.
But strong.
And beautiful.
And beautiful.
You don't want to mess with that chick.
No.
I mean, I might.
Yeah, that's true.
Because I have no sense about myself.
But I've done some pretty stupid things.
Fair.
With people that I had no business doing.
Maybe we need a podcast about hope stupid things.
No, we're not ever.
Those are painful memories. Yeah, exactly're not ever. Those are painful memories.
Yeah, exactly.
Let's not bring up painful memories.
No, actually, they're not painful memories.
They're like, you're an idiot.
Yeah.
You should not repeat these things.
People will lose total respect for you.
Gosh, what little I have I need to keep.
But Laura Keller, gone all this month for all the
month of December she's stuck with us god bless you mm-hmm she's been in
business since 2005 she's a Florida state certified residential appraiser
and has been for 24 years with three locations Lakewood Ranch Port Charlotte
and Tampa and she can assist almost anyone anywhere her appraisal associates
company has but is the most trusted appraisal companies in Southwest
Florida and has been for approximately 10,000 appraisals. No, they have done approximately
10,000 appraisals and they are approved by over 300 banks, lenders, and government entities all
over the United States. Her company does appraisals for just about everything, residential properties
up to four units. They work with FEMA using the 50% rule, which
I'm telling you, if you buy something after this storm, you better, if you buy a house or
try and fix it up, you better call an appraiser, especially if it's an older home.
There is a 50% rule, and you might get, like, punched in the gut by it.
You might really think about calling her.
That FEMA 50% rule gets people,
and especially after storms like what we experienced with flooding.
Settling estates, probate situations,
inherited properties where the heir or heirs are not local and they need appraisal for their attorney step up in basis appraisals for capital gain taxes
and they also provide assistance in selling properties if you give her a call let her know
that you heard about her from the hope hotline and you will receive a 50 discount and her number is, if you're listening and you're not watching, you can call her directly at 941-743-3700.
941-743-3700.
And her website is www.s-s-s-m-w-f-l-appraisals.com.
Reach out to her.
You will be happy you did.
And I have a feeling that the economy is going to be coming back stronger than ever before so there will be lots of homes
being purchased and sold you might want to call her if you're selling your house definitely call
and get an appraisal before you list it i would not do it any other way especially with the way
the market is now so you can get the highest and best value of your home.
Things are going to start going a little nutty very soon, I think, which is good.
Hanson's Automotive Services has been in business since 2017 with 20 years experience.
They do everything from oil changes to tires to AC work to engine repair and replacement.
They are not just motivated to do their best,
but they are automotivated
and their business lives by Proverbs 16, three.
Commit to the Lord, whatever you do,
and he will establish your plans.
His number, Nick's number is 941-460-3962,
941-460-3962.
He does everything.
But I will tell you this.
If you want a good mechanic that can tell you things from buying a car,
like if that car is one that's been notorious for having problems,
to the model and everything.
Like he's the guy.
He can tell you what are lemons and what are the best to buy.
So that's the thing with mechanic. Most people just take it into the shop, but he's like a one
stop. The man knows everything. True. About automotive to like jet skis to boats to he does
not do boats and he does not do jet skis, I don't think.
But he does know all that stuff.
Like he is a one-stop shop of knowledge.
So give him a call and he'll be happy to help you as well.
All right, people.
I am nine minutes over.
That's a short one.
Because normally I can go way longer than that.
So glad to be back with you.
We will see you on Friday with a bunch more questions
because the next one is about
toxic
masculinity, which
I'll be honest with you. I never heard
of toxic masculinity in all my
life. I did a lot of
research on this.
It's crazy. That is
some crazy crap. I can't wait to hear what you have to say
about it. That is some crazy crap. I can't wait to hear what you have to say about it. That is some crazy crap.
That's about as crazy as gentle parenting.
Oh, probably in the same boat.
It's going to be interesting.
We will see you on Friday.
Thank you for tuning in.
Three o'clock Friday.
Can't wait to see you again.
Bye.
Real talk.
Real talk.
Real talk.
Real talk.
