Hello and welcome to the whole pot line. I don't think I can hear a daggum thing coming out of my ears right now, girls.
Okay.
Actually, I need you to...
Sorry, guys.
I just like, like I walked in, but I didn't walk in.
So that's, that's the tough part of having your desk in the room next door where you're
working and stuff like that.
Happy Friday everybody. We are ready to go.
Can you hear?
I cannot hear a thing.
Okay.
Can everybody else hear?
Oh yeah. Oh yeah, they can hear us. I don't know why. Can you see if that thing's at
the end? Okay, there you go.
It's my clippy clip.
Is it too loud now?
No.
Okay.
Well, I don't know. Let's wait until I start screaming. Okay. Let me know. It's my Clippy clip. Is it too loud now? No. Okay. Well, I don't know.
Let's wait until I start screaming.
Okay, let me know.
It's my Clippy clip.
Happy Friday, guys.
I am...
I'm not excited that it's Friday, I'll be honest with you,
because I got nothing going on.
But you love Fridays.
I do.
How do you say your favorite?
I do, but I don't, there's nothing, like I have nothing great tomorrow.
Okay.
Well, my daughter's cleaning my house, but that's great.
But that means I get to relax,
but like I have nothing planned.
Okay.
Okay.
And Sunday, all the YAG is coming to my house.
So really am I having a weekend outside of tomorrow?
Probably maybe use tomorrow to rest.
That's a great idea.
Hope, I mean, yeah.
Or run away or run away.
That's also an option.
Usually, well, they're doing a whole thing,
different thing at my house this time.
So- What's happening?
Pool party.
Oh, pool party.
Pool party.
Which I told Talia, when the youth come to yours,
the pool games go to your house.
Pool games are my house.
Pool games that we have at our house will be going to your house. Pool games are my house. Pool games that we have at our house
will be going to your house.
Okay.
They're volleyball, basketball.
Fun.
Fun stuff.
Fun stuff.
I think we're due for a good pool party.
I think so too.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's what you do.
You do, maybe you do your, I don't know.
I think you guys already have some things planned.
We got stuff planned. Pool. So if you're in the ag and you do your, I don't know, I think you guys already have some things planned. We got stuff planned.
Pull, pull.
So if you're in the ag and you're listening,
you're coming to my house on Sunday.
Okay, that's exciting.
Yeah, that's exciting.
But other than that, I got nothing.
What about you guys?
Nothing.
Nothing?
Facebook is not working for me.
So guess what you have to do?
You have to go to rumble.
Yes.
Hang out with me in the comments.
Hey guys.
So Vanessa, what are you doing?
I've got nothing.
Yeah.
You're not making a quick jaunt somewhere?
Right?
I'm jet setting for the day.
No, not tomorrow.
Yeah, I've got nothing going on.
We got some controversy gonna be coming up
in the next, after our little mini commercial with,
hold on, Tracy.
Yeah.
We got a little bit of controversy.
Something very controversial coming up.
I know, there's been some chatty chat.
So we're gonna talk about it.
Yeah.
And even if you don't know, it'll still be worth like hanging out
and hearing about it so that if you do see it
and it shows up on your U page,
you'll kind of have some thoughts.
Well, it's a TikTok, it's on TikTok.
So if you're watching TikTok right now,
we're gonna discuss some controversy
that's going on in TikTok.
Yeah.
So. Yeah.
It's some interesting stuff, but.
I think so.
Some people might not think it's so controversial.
I mean, it's so interesting.
It is definitely controversial though.
Oh, yes.
Yeah.
It's ticking people off left and right.
I know it is.
Or they totally agree.
It's like, but most of them are like, how dare you?
Isn't that crazy?
How dare you?
Right.
So it's definitely something we'll have to chitchat about.
Yeah.
I'm excited.
Okay. So what are you doing?
Getting it ready?
No, I'm ready.
Oh, you are?
I'm just doing some viewership stuff.
Oh, having trying to fix Facebook?
Yes, that and our other thing that we work on.
So, you know, the other thing, the other thing,
the rumble thing that we make sure that.
Oh.
Yeah, we're just doing all the things today.
Let me just tell you what's going on
in the social media world.
Do it.
For two seconds, I'll stall for you.
Okay, well, I'm ready when you are,
but I'm just gonna do both.
Let me just tell you, like, if you ever wanted to,
I'm telling you about every social media site,
every single one of them are in cahoots with each other.
Or-
It's true.
It's true.
They're all following each other in these,
like they are purposely, you know how social media is free?
They're making it so it's not free
if you're trying to create a platform for yourself
so that you can either like have a podcast
or if you're a person that sells things on it.
I mean, they're literally trying to,
now you could say, well, of course, like why wouldn't they?
Right.
But it's supposed to be free.
Am I wrong?
I'm not wrong.
No, and that's the whole point is
that if it's free for the user, then fine.
You can have paid people doing things and stuff like that
when they get to a higher level.
But let us all try to get our way up there.
Don't block us.
Why?
Give us a chance.
It's not right.
It's not right what's going on.
And like people who got in before,
they started pulling this nonsense.
I mean, it's not good.
Like it's not right what's going on.
Yeah, it's not.
So we're gonna keep on doing what we have to do
so that people can find us
cause we don't wanna be hidden in the dark. We want to have fun.
Excuse me, I just burped. Here's the thing. We literally went at
Christmas time, just so you can understand what we're saying, we went
from Christmas time having just shy of like a hundred people watch us live,
which we're not even, at the time, we're not even
two years old in our podcast.
That's really, really good to have those kinds of numbers live because a lot of people don't
watch you and especially at the time frame we're at three to four in the middle of the
day, nobody watches you.
They all watch you later on most podcasts.
That's how it goes.
Yeah.
But for a no name podcast to do that well,
I mean, even Erin would be like,
your numbers are really good,
because it doesn't happen.
But then we went, they changed the algorithm.
So everybody, like the whole bottom dropped out
of underneath everybody.
I mean, everybody, unless you were already established.
And even those people were saying that they noticed
that there was a drop in viewership.
That's because they changed the algorithm
so nobody could find you.
So now they want you to invest in them
in order for you to have people watch you.
Which is insanity.
So we went from having almost 100 people watch you. Which is insanity. So we went from having almost a hundred people watch us
to not nobody watching us,
but the numbers were like drastic.
Erin finally figured it out.
Finally figured out how we can fix their wagon
so we can get what we need,
which we end up like, it fixes our wagon too.
And then we go to like having 100, 100 plus,
usually it's 100 plus or more.
Or back to normal business.
But like on Wednesdays was like 200 people watching us.
It's not right guys.
Like what's going on, like having to play their game
and it's fishy and it smells and it's not cool.
Not that you care, not that it matters to you,
but it matters because if you ever wanna do anything,
Right.
It's not right.
Right, okay.
All right, Facebook, thank you.
So silly, I don't know what in the world.
Okay, or Facebook's live, we're live on Facebook.
So let's get into this.
Okay, so you wanna do the, the What's My Jiggy?
And then I'll go from there.
Yeah, yeah. Beauty.
Okay, all right, so hey, Facebook, glad we're finally on.
I was just being a little bit silly today,
but we're here and I guess we're glad we're on,
whatever, I don't know.
I don't even know, are we happy we're on Facebook?
Or not happy? Anything, anything helps right now, it's ridiculous. So yeah, we're glad we're on, whatever. I don't know. I don't even know. Are we happy we're on Facebook or not happy?
Anything, anything helps right now.
It's ridiculous.
Okay, so we are, we're happy.
So if you're watching on Facebook,
let us know in the comments,
you can like share and all that good stuff.
But if you wanna join in the live chat,
of course, come over to Rumble.
If you're on YouTube,
make sure you've subscribed and done all that stuff.
If you're watching on any of the platforms,
if you wanna at some point hop over to YouTube,
make sure you're subscribing
because we do have some fun stuff going on over there. And it doesn't always go across the platforms. If you want to at some point hop over to YouTube, make sure you're subscribing because we do have some fun stuff going on over there
and it doesn't always go across all platforms.
Sometimes I do if I feel like it's appropriate,
but we've been doing really great on the shorts over there.
It seems like they're really grabbing attention
and that's the whole point.
So make sure on YouTube
and if you have the other option is black robe.
And then we have our audio podcast,
always available later, it's not alive. And then of
course, Rumble, we have our live chat. If you are on Rumble, say hello. Hi, Sharon. Make sure you like the stream.
And also if you could repost, I'm gonna write Happy Friday. And then you can just do a quick little repost for us. I
don't know if it even helps. But you know what, it's something we can do. And then also, TikTok live. So you make sure you follow us over there. Hey, it's hope01. Hey,
guys on TikTok and the Hope Hotline, and I'll get some more
of the details about that in a second. If you can, please send
in your questions, askhope at hopehotline.com. And of course,
they can piggyback on the stuff that we talked about today or
anything we've talked about in the past. Please like just send
those questions in. We love to hear from you guys.
And okay, deeper onto the TikTok side of it,
we've got the Hope hotline and you can follow us over there.
We've got, Hey, it's Hope.
And she actually had a very exciting day yesterday.
Hope?
I did.
She had-
I blew up people.
I blew up all the 359 people.
359.
No, you have more now, right?
Isn't that?
Oh yeah, I do.
This was an old one.
I haven't updated it yet.
Oh my gosh, I blew up.
I got like 30 new people.
Yeah, shh, shh.
That's a secret.
Don't know, don't know.
Let's see how many you have right now.
Do you remember?
385, I think.
385, okay.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And so one of our TikToks went viral.
Again. And she has-
Two of them.
You have 286, what did you think you had?
It should be 386.
386, 386, 386.
I thought it was 385.
Okay, you have 386 now.
Gained one more. Extra one more.
One more. One more, yep.
And one of her TikToks has 24,000 views right now.
That one was two days ago, I think.
One day ago.
One day ago.
One day ago, yep.
And-
Hitting it out of the park.
Yeah, you gotta go check that one out.
Hitting it out of the park.
Yeah, she's found her people.
I have found my people.
No, they have to find me.
I know, it's true, it's true.
That's the thing.
All 386 of us.
Yes, I know, I know.
Exactly, but listen.
That's a big crowd.
They're faithful.
They're faithful people.
They're not leaving you.
Listen, I love them.
I know you do.
I know you do.
They love me.
They do.
Well, they don't love me right now, but they will.
They will, they will.
They don't know me, but they will.
Oh, this is such a great idea.
Oh, hey.
Do we have Tau's in there?
So we're going to, because Talia is going to do a TikTok.
So once she does, she gets to be a part of this.
Totally.
Get ready with me.
This is so good.
OK, so Vanessa.
I know exactly.
So Vanessa's on here as well.
And obviously, that's me.
So you'll have to follow us, because both Vanessa and I have a new video concept coming
out tonight. So
you'll want to check with us and see, see what you think. Um, two separate things, two
totally separate, I think because we haven't talked about them. So what if they're exactly
the same?
But you know what is great is Vanessa, how long have you had tick tock for a long time,
but I've only just started posting. Yeah. She wasn't posting. Yeah. So how many did
you start out with? Cause you're already 182 and really good.
80, like something crazy.
So you gained a hundred in what?
Like two weeks tops.
Yeah, yeah.
That's so good.
And she's kind of like, her numbers are really good
for only having that many followers.
It's so good.
Like her, yeah, she's, they love her.
She knows what she's doing.
They love her.
She's hot.
She is hot, it helps to be hot.
It does, it does help to be hot.
It's so true.
The filters help.
The filters help.
Oh my gosh, you don't even use a filter.
Oh my gosh.
Maybe I do.
You do not.
It looks exactly like you.
She's using a nice little light.
Teach me how to use the filter.
Yeah, she hopes you're a first-timer.
Girl needs to know how to use a filter.
Oh yeah, whatever.
It's like the beauty filter.
Oh, oh, oh.
Where is that?
It automatically happens.
Not for me.
Oh my gosh.
Oh.
Automatically ugly.
Oh my gosh.
No.
Automatically ugly filter.
Oh my gosh.
Holy crap.
Okay, well. Go ahead.
Yeah, so anyways, follow us on TikTok.
I embrace it.
Don't worry about me.
Oh my gosh.
Follow us on TikTok.
I'll have Talia's up here as soon as she makes her video.
She gets to be a part of the crew.
And then anybody else, like, listen,
if you've got some TikTokers, follow us,
let us know that you're on there
and make sure you're commenting and all that stuff
so we know, so we can follow you back.
Yeah, we definitely follow you back.
Yeah, for sure.
You follow us.
Just let us know.
Yeah, you're gonna have to DM privately.
Right, yeah, just DM us and we'll know
and we'll follow you back.
Unless you're a guy and then we don't open this.
That's true, especially if you talk about being a pay pig.
Yeah, that's not good.
Okay, so Natalie's coming on.
She'll be here Wednesday this month.
And so it's July 30th.
Hot diggity.
Because we've got so much going on.
We have our youth week next week, not next week,
a couple weeks.
The week after that.
Yeah, the week after.
And so, and it's just kind of crazy this month.
So she'll be here Wednesday, July 30th.
So please start sending your questions in.
You have such an opportunity to be able to ask
all these medical questions and just kind of get an idea
of where she stands and she's a believer.
So how perfect is that? And then we have,
save the date. Oh, I gotta remove our little logo. I'm gonna move that. August 21st through
the 23rd, we will have our fearless beloved ladies conference. So it's beloved ladies
conference, but the title or the theme this year is fearless. And so you definitely want
to make sure you register, make sure you are inviting your friends,
make sure you start thinking about other people
that you wanna invite when you're out.
Like I know I'm going to invite this woman from McDonald's.
She works there and I see her all the time
and she's so happy and I'm gonna invite her.
Is it the Northport McDonald's?
It's the one right here.
Really?
Right here.
I don't ever go there.
Are you like speaking terms with her?
We smile at each other every time.
Like she's the sweetest thing ever.
So I'm definitely 100%.
Thank you.
I'm definitely going to invite her.
I just had the idea today.
So, but start thinking about that kind of stuff
because listen, all it takes.
I'm totally gonna invite my trainer.
Ah.
Mm-hmm.
Oh.
Whether she comes or not, it's up to her.
No, no, exactly.
The invite will be.
Right. That is our job. Our job is to start praying and thinking about who we it's up to you. The invite will be. Right.
That is our job.
Our job is to start praying and thinking about
who we would have wanted to invite and then do it.
I already invited somebody, they're gonna come,
but they're not like brand new.
That's the thing.
Okay.
Like she already comes to different stuff for us.
Okay.
So you gotta think of somebody that you normally,
like what you're talking about.
Like it wouldn't be a risk for me to invite this one person.
It's gotta be a risk like you guys are taking.
Like I've already invited somebody, like that's not hard.
Risky.
But it's also, I'm gonna put us on,
cause this is important.
It's also not super risky because it's a woman's conference.
Well, no, I mean, it's risky being rejected.
I know, but like it's a woman's conference. So it's almost like asking, do you wanna come hang out with us for the day? It's a ladies conference. Well, no, I mean, it's risky being rejected. I know, I know, but like it's a woman's conference.
So it's almost like asking like,
do you want to come hang out with us for the day?
It's a ladies conference.
Like it, and I have to be in like relationship
with this person, like after.
Yeah, yeah.
No, it's risky.
It is pretty risky.
I mean, I don't agree with you at all, Tracy.
But it's not Pastor Tom preaching.
It's not.
Doesn't really matter.
It's me, Adalice and Magalus. But it's different. They'll probably love Adalice and Magalus.
And you.
She'll probably speak their language.
No, you don't.
You're not like.
No, I'm just kidding.
Oh my gosh.
Let the expletives fly.
No, I'm just kidding.
They don't do that.
Just one word.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
They love one word.
I know.
But bless.
Bless.
Bless it.
Gosh, I just love them.
I know.
Me too.
They're so good. Me too. Go bless. Bless. Bless it. Gosh, I just love them.
I know.
Me too.
They're so good.
Me too.
Go ahead, what were you saying?
No, I'm just saying, like, it's a woman's conference,
so they might even be like, you know what?
I wouldn't be bad if I could just, like,
get out of the house for the day.
And so I think it's less risky
than inviting somebody on Sunday.
I say go for it.
I don't know about that.
No risk, no reward.
I don't know about that.
Yeah, but you don't get offended by anything.
So you come into Sunday as happy as can be.
I know, that's part of the problem.
That's the reason why I know that it's kind of risky.
Because I don't get, and everybody does,
and I know how like the rejection level,
even though I really don't care about rejection.
I know that it's common.
I feel like people are just like, oh yeah, sure.
And then they just don't show up.
True.
I feel like that's usually what happens.
And then when I see them the next week,
I'm like, what happened?
And they're like, oh my gosh, I'm so sorry.
I had a flat tire.
I had a thing.
I had a thing.
And that thing had a thing.
Yeah, exactly.
You know what's the beautiful thing about turning 40,
because I'll be turning 40 this year?
Yes, you will.
I don't care about rejection anymore.
I know.
40 is freeing.
40 really is.
That's what I used to say, 40 is freeing.
I don't get offended very easily at all even.
You know that book that was called
Don't Sweat the Small Stuff?
Yes.
That's where you live when you turn 40.
Yeah.
Just so you know.
I like it.
I do too.
It's the best.
I love, I've loved my twenties,
well half of my twenties,
cause I was spiraling and out of control
for the first four.
But I love my twenties cause I met Tom in my twenties.
And I mean, just such great times.
30s were the best cause you have your kids, right?
And like, so great.
The 40s is where you really begin.
You're sharing.
I love it.
40s is really about you blossoming as a person.
Like you've raised your kids normally,
or they're like, my kids were out of the house.
I mean, excuse me, my kids like at 48,
basically they were both adults.
I was a little older when I had my kids,
but both of them were basically adults by 48.
But in that time, they're so independent.
Like you both know that you're literally able to focus on things
that you never thought and you realize, gosh, man,
some stuff is just not that big of a deal.
In fact, most stuff is not that big of a deal.
True. True.
Very true.
And 50s, I'm just telling you,
I'm almost on my way out of the 50s.
Yeah.
And 50s are, they're fantastic.
I love that.
Oh my gosh.
That's super exciting for me.
50s are fantastic.
Well, when I turned, isn't that you that called it,
but when I turned 50, I claimed
that that was my year of Jubilee.
So, and then when I heard you say that about Jeff,
I was like, I'm so proud of it.
Cause 50 was actually my year of Jubilee.
I spoke it into existence in the past.
But if you look at biblically speaking, it is.
So I just like, I'm grabbing that for myself.
It really was like that for me.
50 was crazy great.
Yeah, that's so good.
It was, it is.
So,
live life each generation or each 10 year,
is that a generation?
No, it's not a generation, each decade.
Decade.
Each decade, man, embrace it.
Yeah.
Don't, I see so many people like,
I don't wanna turn 30, I don't wanna,
I'm like, embrace it, it's gonna happen anyway.
There's no avoiding it.
Grab it and pull as much out of it as you can possibly get.
Cause it's fantastic.
Okay, so like, do you wanna like,
we got 40 minutes, which I forgot my sponsors on Wednesday.
So you know what?
Let me show this real quick.
So for this, make sure that you register.
It's foundationchurchfl.com and click events.
So you'll see it there.
And then if you need to send that link,
it's not foundationchurchfl.com slash events.
It's a whole different section.
So just make sure you go that direction.
And then if you invite anybody,
you can tell them to go to our website, click events,
and it will be on the event page and that's probably the
best way to do it. Yeah it's not mandatory. Registration is not mandatory but I'm
just telling you it will really help us and then registration for breakfast is a
whole separate thing which we've moved breakfast to Saturday. Yeah and we haven't
set that up yet right the registration is not set up yet. That will be coming next
week now that we've determined exactly how Saturday plays out.
But this will open up,
like we don't have a lot more seats
than what we normally have.
But what it does is it makes Saturday breakfast
available to everybody who normally wouldn't be able
to come on Friday because they work.
Right, right, right. So now people who normally couldn't make it,
they actually get to come, which I'm really happy about.
That makes me happy for them.
Me too.
So it's gonna be a great time.
I'm excited, very, very excited.
It's gonna be a great time.
So let me do sponsors really quick
before we move into that really fast.
Cause I definitely don't want to,
I did my sponsors wrong on Wednesday,
super sorry about that.
Yeah.
Please forgive me.
I know, we were just chit chatty, chit chatty.
I didn't even realize until we came off
and Tracy's like, we didn't do the sponsors.
I didn't realize, I know, until I was doing everything.
I'm like, oh my gosh.
And the bad part was, is we had already taken a week off.
Yeah.
So we didn't do sponsors for a week and then
We're gonna have to just make it really good this time. I
Don't know how to do that
Other than what I normally do, okay?

commit to the Lord whatever you do and he will establish your plans. If you need to get a hold of him,
his number is 941-460-3962. 941-460-3962 and two of my cars will be in there next week. Oh my gosh. Oh yes. Oil change. Oh okay. Oil change. Okay. And probably tires. Oh okay.
and probably tires. Okay.
Surprise, surprise.
For a different vehicle.
Story of my life.
I know.
That's so sad.
It is sad.
It is.
I'm very sad.
I feel bad for you.
I feel bad for me.
Okay, so.
Yeah.
So we have both videos.
So the one that you watch
when you're walking in, that one's long,
but his video that he posted.
Then I have the other one that I sent you originally
that's short.
I wanna play the long one.
Okay.
Okay, now TikTok's not gonna be able to watch this.
Yeah, you're gonna have to hang out with us.
Just give us a minute.
They can't hear it either, can they?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Great idea.
Yeah, I'll flip mine.
Face, so you're gonna flip yours?
So don't worry about it. Yeah, hang on. She's gonna flip hers. Yeah, I'll flip mine. Face, so you're gonna flip yours? So don't worry about it.
Yeah, hang on.
She's gonna flip hers.
Yeah, it'll be loud.
So, oh, that's true.
Bless Tal.
Thanks for being the brains of the operation.
So this is, should you bring it in
and set it up right in front of it?
I'm gonna switch it to the other camera side.
It's gonna be on ours, the one that's ours is on.
Yep.
Okay.
So should she move it right in front of it?
Yeah, whatever.
Yeah, as long as they can see it, they'll know.
And they can hear it through the TV, correct?
Yeah, it's gonna be loud.
Okay.
All right, guys.
This, personally, let's just tell you
like where I'm at is I'm not middle.
I'm more when you're watching it,
just so you know because there's no great surprise.
When you watch this, I'm more,
I fear more to him than not.
But I do understand why people have issues and take issues,
and we're going gonna talk about both sides
of the coin for this thing.
I think, are you guys in agreement with me?
You go more to his side than you do too.
And Tracy, are you the same?
Yeah.
I thought so.
I could understand what he was trying to say for sure.
Yes, yes.
Okay, so just so you know, all of us in the room
and Taya, have you watched it?
We're all on the same page with this.
So that removes the mystery behind the controversy.
The controversy is that TikTok and other people
who are seeing this video are losing their minds.
Yeah, like how dare him. Losing their minds. And-
Like how dare him?
Losing their minds.
But you have to know, like we could have talked about this,
but if you're not on TikTok or you're not on Instagram
or something like that,
you're gonna have no idea what we're talking about.
And it's not gonna-
Yeah, right, right.
Yeah. Yeah.
Okay.
So do say whatever you wanna say to get it going.
Yeah. So this is a pastor.
He's been a pastor for a little while,
but the last like year or so, maybe even less,
he's become really popular across all social platforms.
He almost has a million followers on TikTok,
and he is a very outspoken pastor.
And so it's definitely a rare thing that you find now,
and he's not afraid to say all the things.
And so this one is just a very,
this one actually is from October of last year,
but it somehow went viral now.
So I've had people actually that like go to our abide
and people that are very close to me that follow him.
And then he said this and they're like,
what does this mean?
Wait, what?
Wait, what?
Cause we think, cause they've all heard very strong pastors,
but this feels like something about it feels off
and they're not sure.
So I, you know, that's why we're deciding to talk about this today
Yeah, so we're gonna put on the backburn of the other stuff and address this yeah, cuz it's see this is a hot little topic
Right. It's a hot topic
Do your thinger. All right
He's saying if somebody's unrepentant pray them into the hands of the devil not now
I lay me down to sleep pray them into the hands of the devil. Not now I lay me down to sleep. Pray them into the hands of the devil.
Why?
We care so much about you, we'd rather you feel the pain of your sin than die and go
to hell for all eternity.
So man, since you won't repent, since you won't listen, I'm not praying bless them.
I'm praying, Lord, deal with them aggressively.
Release them to the hands of the devil.
Wreck their whole life.
Tear everything out.
Put them in a place where they come to a point
of extremity, but they have no other option but to
Repent how's that for American doctrine ain't had out of no conference not reading that in no book
Don't hate that no podcast
But these are the words of the one you call
Savior and then you're gonna go out of here and tell people that do fill up Anthony Mitchell or he's a hellfire
I have people trashing me on TikTok.
Or I'm a hellfire and brimstone preacher.
He's aggressive.
I'm reading to you the words of the one you call Lord and Savior.
What are you talking about?
I'm not mad.
I'm not angry.
I'm reading to you the words of Christ.
I'm reading to you the words of Christ. I'm reading to you the words of the apostles.
Watch this.
Watch this.
I'm actually teaching you the Scriptures.
We've heard a lot of sermons, but we have not heard the Scriptures.
A lot of conferences, no Scriptures. A lot of podcasts, no Scriptures.
A lot of podcasts, no Scriptures.
A lot of books, no Scriptures.
A lot of gatherings, no Scriptures.
A lot of preaching, no Scriptures.
No Bible.
Just the opinions of men, Google articles, three points in a poem.
Jesus is fluffy.
He don't care about your sin.
Tear up the church.
Do what you want.
Live in sin.
Preach in sin.
Sing in sin.
Serve in sin.
Lead in sin.
Do whatever you want.
Fluffy, fluffy, fluffy, fluffy, fluffy.
Half of us going to be people behind me that says, thank you,
Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell, for preaching to us the full unadulterated truth.
Thank you very much for telling us the truth for all those years.
I made it because of the word of God.
Somebody give him praise in this house.
Okay.
If you've never been to a black church, which I have many times, you have now.
Because that is, I mean, for us,
it's something we see every single Sunday.
Like for me, not necessarily it being said like that,
but very much said like that,
very close to being said like that,
especially the end of it where he's talking about,
nobody's preaching the gospel anymore.
And people literally are sitting in their pew
or their seats thinking and singing and talking
as if they're saved when there is rampant sin in their life.
You're not saved.
And that's exactly what he's trying to say.
Now, what he's referring to when he said that he's,
when he plopped the Bible down and he said,
I'm just reading to you the word of God.
I'm reading you the scriptures.
What he was referring to that I could figure out
based on something else that you showed me
was first Corinthians five, one through five And I'm gonna read the whole entire thing
instead of the small little thing
that I had to talk to you about.
So we can have a clear,
like you can see the scripture
from the beginning to the end.
And what this is, is 1 Corinthians was
the Corinthian church that Paul was speaking to,
and they were always in trouble.
They were always getting it wrong.
They were always grace, grace, grace, grace, grace.
And that is a dangerous thing,
but what are we seeing in the church today?
The one right now, all they do is preach grace, grace,
grace, grace, grace and love.
I mean, till it's coming out your ears.
That's not the full gospel though. And so what happens here is Paul is speaking to the
Corinthian church because there was a man in the church that was now, he is now involved with his father's wife.
So what that means is it wasn't ancestral, it was back then people had multiple wives
or they were divorcing for no reasons whatsoever and then remarrying.
So this would be like his stepmother.
This wasn't his biological mother, it was like a stepmom.
So his dad married another woman
and he is now involved with this woman.
You guys understand everything.
If I don't make sense, then you say,
go back to that really quick.
Yeah, gotcha.
So that everybody understands.
So this man and this woman are attending church,
but really he's speaking to the man
because women were like second-class citizens, right?
They weren't really,
it's be seen and not heard kind of thing
because they weren't educated they weren't they really
what they brought to society really was in the home like you follow behind the husband
five steps or whatever like they so really they were speaking directly to the man in this relationship and it says
Paul says to them I am actually quite proud of you not because you have been
involved in this sin but because you don't put up with anyone who claims to
be a brother or sister yet indulges in sexual sin or is greedy an idolater a
sandler a drunkard or a thief I say this because you are actually being too tolerant. When I was with you, I didn't hesitate to condemn the man who
had been doing this, and now that I am away, I condemn him even more. So when
you meet together, because he had told them to expel him from the church, Paul
said, you guys are embracing sinful behavior. He said,
expel the wicked man from among you so that he might be saved. I said, when you
assembled in the name of our Lord Jesus and I am with you in spirit, I have
already passed judgment on the man who did this. When you are assembled, I, with the power of the Lord Jesus, will hand this man over to Satan." So Paul is saying he is going to,
when you are assembled, I, with the power of our Lord Jesus, will hand this man over to Satan,
so that his sinful nature may be destroyed and his spirit saved on the day of the Lord.
That's what this guy is referring to.
It's very dangerous to take a little snippet
and a little clip and presume that you know everything
that somebody is saying and then say, I don't agree.
Right, right.
And so what he, but what I, so well, let me,
there's probably gonna be a place that I tell you
to go back to on the video.
So is expelling the wicked man from among you biblical?
100% it is, because it even says it
in 1 Timothy 1 19 through 20, it says,
"'They have rejected your faith
and so have shipwrecked their lives.
Among them are Humeinius and Alexander,
whom I have handed
over to Satan to be taught not to blaspheme." It's done in the Bible, guys. It's done in the Bible.
One, to get rid of somebody so that they cannot, like a cancer or a yeast, affect the whole group.
Okay? Like a cancer will affect the whole body. Yeast will affect the whole body, but yeast will actually grow. And if things are left in the body of Christ, it will trickle
to like gossip and divisiveness. If you allow that divisive person to stay in a like a small
group or a church setting, after you have confronted that person and said what
you're doing is sin, stop it, stop it now, and they continue to do it and are
disrespectful and don't honor what's been requested, you get rid of them. It's a
cancer. They are causing others to sin. It'd be better for them to be
put out on their own and deal with their own sin by themselves than to infect the rest of the group and cause them to
sin and pluck them out. What do we see about that in the Word of God? Woe to the
man that causes somebody to sin. Second Thessalonians 2.11 says,
that is why God sends them a powerful, even God, that is why God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie
and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted
in wickedness.
So, it goes. So you can't say, I don't like that if it's in the Bible. You may not be comfortable with it, but that doesn't mean that it's wrong at all, especially when the biggest soul winner
is saying he's doing it and then God himself does it.
But go, I'm gonna let you two talk
because there's some other things I wanna touch on,
but I wanna hear what your viewpoint is on this.
Yeah, I know.
When you first hear it, I think what,
so what I love about Pastor Tom is that typically
when he says something and then he says,
I mean, it's just the word.
He usually like says exactly where it is in the Bible.
And I think that's really important
because especially if you're gonna be going viral
on TikTok and you're on social media platforms,
like people that are listening, they don't know the word.
He might have.
Yeah, right. True.
And it could have been before that.
Right. Right. And then so if you're He might have. Yeah, right. True. And it could have been before that. Right.
And so if you're so offended by this clip,
maybe look up the whole sermon.
True, true.
So that you can judge rightly.
Yes, absolutely.
And so the clip that we played, the long one,
that actually is from his TikTok too.
So he did choose like that clip.
However, right.
What's the caption?
Probably.
Clip bait.
What is it?
Rage bait.
Yeah.
Yeah.
People do it for reasons.
Oh yeah, yeah, of course.
It's rage bait, yeah controversy.
Yeah, but anyways.
It would have been better for him to put that part in there,
but who knows how long, who knows how far in front of that
it actually was, so he couldn't add it in there.
It could have been right there,
because he said, I just read the word.
But I'm just saying what I love about Pastor Tom,
it's very rare for him to just throw something out there
and say it's the word and not say where in the word it is.
It is really rare.
And I, cause I know that because when I first started coming,
that's what I'm used to sitting under is everybody's like,
it's just the Bible, it's in the Bible,
it's in the Bible, it's in the,
where, where is it in the Bible?
Just say it, like if it's in there.
Yeah, most of them don't know where it's at.
Correct, exactly. That's the reason why.
Or it's not in the Bible, and they're saying
it's in the Bible, and it's a misinterpretation
of the Bible.
So, anyways, just, that's something that I'm very thankful
for, and somebody I sit under, is that they do
point back to the Bible, because that's the whole point.
So, but I can see why people got upset
because I'm reading through like the captions and stuff
and they're like, why would you ever,
isn't the whole point to get people out of Satan's grasp?
Okay, but the problem is, is this,
and which is what I have told you guys
or I've talked to you about,
which is what I wanna address next,
unless you wanna add something else to it.
No, no, keep going, no, it's perfect.
Okay, he's preaching to people who believe
either they're saved living in sin,
and they need to be made aware now.
Now, like the pallets put on them,
like you need to know now that you're not saved.
Yeah. And like for him, he understands the gravity of sin.
Right.
That he said half of people won't make it to heaven.
That's not what the word of God says.
It says more won't enter in.
Narrow is the way.
It didn't say both paths were the same width.
Right.
One is very narrow. one is very wide.
True. Yeah. So I don't agree with him on that because it's not half. It's way more
people will enter into hell and he has an expedience or he
understands how like, I'll just use the word important.
He understands the gravity of the situation of people because what he's saying is there
are churches right now.
You can watch Christian podcasts, you can go to churches and they're not preaching any
scripture, they're not offering any word at all.
They're like literally like
sedating you. And you're dying and going to hell and his thing is
you're no different than the Corinthian church who literally was sedating the
man who was having a relationship with his own mother saying grace, grace, grace,
grace, grace, it's okay, it's okay, it's okay.
And that man was gonna die and go straight to hell.
Be far better for him to be expelled.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And left his own demise.
Cause it says he'll come back.
He has a better chance of being saved
if he actually understands that he's living in sin
versus patting him on the head and saying, you're okay.
Just so you keep a butt in a seat
and you keep the Tithe basket full.
Shame on you.
Like, and a lot of reasons nobody knows
where to find things in scripture
is because every flipping church you came from, Tracy,
was an arch church, which is associated related churches.
They don't put scripture in the messages
that you buy off the fricking internet.
They don't.
And then the pastor who's paying for that message
so he doesn't have to do any kind of studying himself
to understand what God wants for his own congregation,
they don't look up the scriptures either.
They don't know them.
So like he's probably irritated
because he understands like the importance
of understanding where you're at spiritually speaking.
And like, this is heaven and hell.
This is eternity.
This is a big deal.
And you have to take into account
where he's preaching at too.
He's in Atlanta.
He is in the inner city.
He is around people who are playing church.
Yeah. For the most part.
Like we are.
Right.
Right.
And so you can, you can sense the frustration
and the urgency.
I think it's more urgency than frustration in his voice
for people to understand like this,
the gravity of it, like you said.
Yeah.
It's so funny because people who are passionate
are considered angry.
Right.
Like he's like, I'm not mad.
Like I never once thought he was mad.
Right.
I thought he was very passionate.
Yeah, for sure.
And like convicted.
Yeah.
Over what God was telling him
he needed to be preaching on.
And that message,
and people say that about Tom all the time.
He's so angry.
I like his message.
I just don't like the tone that it's given in.
Screw the tone.
Right.
I wish you were more,
I wish you who were so tone worthy,
were more passionate about the lives
that are going straight to hell
because we don't win the lost.
We don't, we're so tone conscious
that we're not out like sharing our faith
because we're afraid of the town.
And when you're saving someone
from like a burning building,
do you care what your tone sounds like?
No, your mission is to save that person
out of the burning building.
It's so funny to me too.
It's so funny to me if that person was in fear of their life because somebody was approaching
them that looked like they were going to them major harm. And they started screaming, help, rape, whatever it is.
I just used a bad word like because, S-A,
because I'll get kicked off.
You use, if you start screaming and yelling
and like get away from me and all this other stuff,
you don't care about tone then.
You won't care about tone, which is what he's saying.
You'll be thanking me on the day of judgment,
or you'll be thanking me
when you have to go and meet your maker
instead of like, oh my gosh.
People don't care about the tone
when it affects them personally.
They care about the tone
when they like have to receive something.
But let something be happening to you.
It drives me crazy.
I'm like, it's a different story.
I think of my husband who had to literally hit rock bottom
to have an encounter with God.
Okay, if it wasn't for that moment,
who knows where my husband would be right now.
Which is the part that I was gonna have you play back.
This is the part that I see where people take issue with.
Yeah.
And maybe it's a little too extreme,
but sometimes when you're in the midst of just,
Yeah.
It's, you say things,
but you don't necessarily mean them as they are said.
And maybe he did mean them as they were said.
But we also got this big, you know,
this short of a clip from probably this long of a message.
And he explains more in detail what he's referring to this.
But go to the part where he talks about them having to like,
the devil like breaking them down
or making their life a wreck or whatever.
Cause that's where people are having, taking issue with.
So yeah, the very beginning he says,
pray them into the hands of the devil.
Is that, is that-
You can just pray, you know what?
You can just play this part and I'll tell you,
I'll just say in the video,
like this is what I'm referring to.
Go ahead.
He's saying if somebody's unrepentant,
pray them into the hands of the devil. Not now I lay me down to sleep, pray them into the hands of the devil.
Not now or lay me down to sleep.
Pray them into the hands of the devil.
Why?
We care so much about you.
We rather you feel the pain of your sin than die and go to hell for all eternity.
So man, since you won't repent, since you won't listen, I'm not praying.
Bless them.
I'm praying, Lord, deal with them aggressively.
Release them to the hands of the devil
Right there whole life tear everything out put them in a place where they come to a point of extremity
But they have no other option but to
Repent there we go. I'll stop right there. Yeah
See if you catch what he said at the very beginning what he's saying is his people aren't saved
So these people are already
don't have the covering over them.
And you gotta think about this part.
And they're unrepentant.
They're unrepentant.
They're not saved.
And they're the devil's play toy anyway.
That's what a lot of people are forgetting.
These aren't people with a covering.
Even people who are sitting in church
with rampant sin in their life.
They may think that they're saved
and they may be fooling people into thinking they're saved.
They're not.
And they don't have a hedge of protection around them
like somebody who is saved has.
They're already the devils.
Okay, so he's not saying,
he's not saying I'm going to,
you as a Christian, you Christian, I'm going to, you as a Christian,
you Christian, I'm going to turn you over to the devil.
You Christian, now you're the, I'm gonna.
That's very important.
Yeah. Yeah.
These people are not saved.
Either they're playing church or they just are like,
I want nothing to do with church.
Either way, they're not saved.
They are already owned by the devil.
And that may bother people, but that's the truth.
If either you are a son or daughter
of the Lord Jesus Christ, or you are the son of Satan,
that's a fact.
And you may not confess, I want to be the devil's kid.
But when you reject, it says in the word
that you can't serve two masters.
You'll love the one and you'll hate the other.
That's a fact.
So either you love Jesus, you obey him.
Those who obey me, they love me.
Okay, if you're not obeying him,
then you have nothing to do with him.
You are serving one or the other.
That's what it says.
So what he's saying is, and this is where I'm like,
I don't necessarily,
I kind of cringe at it to a certain extent,
but I don't necessarily agree with it wholeheartedly,
just to be blankly honest with you.
I don't want the devil to crush somebody.
I don't want him to be aggressive with anybody.
I don't want him blessing them.
I'm not praying blessing over anybody.
That's not saved.
Not happening.
Not happening.
But I'm also not saying,
Lord, or Satan go after them.
Right.
I know that Satan didn't have to go after me.
I was already like, I was doing everything to myself.
He didn't need to do anything to me.
I was like Vanessa's husband.
I hit rock bottom because of my life choices
and they were full of sin and they were nasty as all get out.
But I hit rock bottom and the only thing I could do
is look up and that's what saved me
So I don't think that we need to necessarily
Say Satan crush them
Because what does that look like I would never want somebody to be riddled with cancer or like given a life
term disease to bring them to Christ.
Because I would be like, okay, Lord,
there's other ways to get this accomplished
without having this to have to happen.
But some people are so hard headed though,
like maybe they do.
That's where I'm like, you know, for me,
I always say, Lord, you know what this person needs
in order to come to you.
It's like the last week, not last week,
the week before that, Vanessa said it's kindness
that leads to repentance when Nick was here.
So it could be kindness that leads people to repentance.
And maybe we didn't hear the message enough
to hear him say like like there are other ways,
but if that doesn't work, then this is another option.
Yeah.
You know, it's a really good word.
What?
Surrender.
And in the Greek for that word hand, hand them over.
Yeah.
One of the words, one of the options is to surrender them.
I looked at the Greek word in this scripture and the Hebrew.
Yeah.
None of them are like kind of like what he described.
Right.
Like pray them in.
But one of them, like if you surrender them, then you're surrendering into like either
the kindness or full blown whatever.
Their stupid decisions.
Right, exactly.
But that's surrender.
And God knows which was gone. Correct. Right. And that's surrender. And God knows which one.
Right, and when you surrender it,
that means you surrender to God and you're trusting
because you're not surrendering it to the universe,
you're surrendering it to God.
And then God is like, okay.
But it also says, unless he draws them in,
they will not be saved.
So there's a whole thing, like, to this, you know, it's not like breaking somebody down,
but you also have to understand that culture too.
I mean, again, like I went to black churches,
it's a whole different culture
and how they talk to each other and how it's received
and what you think and how you believe he sang
versus how they knew what he was saying, right?
They didn't take it a certain way
because I think they understood what he was trying to say,
which I kind of understand what he's saying.
And we only are seeing this bit of a snippet.
So we can only speak to that snippet, but we don't know.
Like he could have literally said,
but we can also pray this, you know?
So for me, I say, cool your jets to those who are so angry
and ticked off of what he said.
He's not wrong.
He's not wrong.
There's parts of him that are extreme with,
to the lengths in which you go
and rendering them over to Satan.
I believe like a lot of times we do so much to ourselves,
Satan doesn't need to do it and dag them thing to us.
We've done it to ourselves.
But I also need, no, you also need to be very careful
what you pray in.
Life and death is held in the tongue.
Let's be careful to the extreme that we also pray in on people
because there are ways that God can bring people to Him
without the extremes.
I think the extremes are for a small majority.
True, I do too. And like for me, like again, I tell the extremes are for a small majority. True, I do too.
And like for me, like again, I tell the story all the time,
but the Lord literally came to me in a dream and said,
this is the outcome if you don't come back to me.
And I didn't have to hit rock bottom.
It scared me, but I didn't have to go to the lengths
in which this man was saying.
Now again, everybody's different, but I didn't have to go to the lengths in which this man was saying. Now again, everybody's different,
but I was pretty bad out there.
And life was, I was making life really rough for myself.
And the reason I think God was just being merciful
and I don't think that I'm the only one he's merciful with.
So, but let me just say this
and then we're gonna tie everything together
because we have five minutes, but it's 2 say this and then we're gonna tie everything together because we have five minutes.
But it's 2 Peter 3 9 says, the Lord isn't really being slow about his promise as some people think.
No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.
That's where I think a lot of people who are very angry or bothered or like perplexed by this,
I think they look at these scriptures and they go,
that's not the God that I know that he's saying.
That's the God that I know that he's saying.
Yeah.
But the thing is, is his ways and his thoughts
are higher than ours.
And so, couldn't he be both?
Yeah.
Can he be both?
Because in 1 Timothy 2, 3, and 4, it says,
this is good and pleases God our Savior,
who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.
He can be both.
He can be exactly what this guy is saying,
and he can be the one that is...
Kindness leads us to repentance.
Right. It's both. It is. And when we think that we know, we short side things. the one that is kindness leads us to repentance.
It's both.
And when we think that we know, we short side things.
Very true.
So you might have a son or daughter
who's living in your basement at the age of 40
and you might need to kick them out.
Cause it might be the best thing for them.
They're not living for him.
And you've enabled bad behavior for a really long time.
And the best thing that could happen for them
is them to be kicked out of the house,
be set up, they have to figure things out for themselves.
That's not a bad thing.
It's often the best thing for anybody
to have to learn how to live and walk on their own two feet.
And then realize, okay, why do I believe what I believe?
Do I believe it because it's been forced down my throat
or do I believe it because I've seen it for myself?
And if we keep doing things for people,
oftentimes God can't do it for them
because you're doing it for them.
And they lose sight of who it is that they need.
If you are all they need, they definitely don't need God.
So perspective on things.
Good.
Yeah.
Girls, three minutes.
That's a really good word.
Add your two cents.
What do you got, anything?
I mean, how do you beat that?
I know, I hope that was like.
A chat GPT thought?
That was so good.
Well, and okay, one more thing I wanted to say is that um,
Vanessa started talking about his past and his background and he had a really this pastor's past. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah
Yeah, tell me about this. So I know from like the age of 12 until he was 20
He got in so much trouble like everything he did was wrong. He ended up in prison and everything
There was drugs involved all this kind of stuff.
So the first time that he heard gossip music was,
or gossip, gospel, gospel music,
was with a girlfriend that he just got in a car accident with
and she survived.
And it was the first time he heard it
and she was worshiping.
And so it kind of like broke him out of this.
And so he knows his life went to rock bottom.
So probably when you're preaching, you share your life.
Like Vanessa and I always say, like,
not everybody thinks like us.
I don't have to go through the worst case scenario
for God to get my attention.
I can say one thing and God's like, uh-uh.
And I'm like, oh my gosh, sorry.
Like it hits me, like almost like I hit rock bottom,
but it was just a little thought that I shouldn't have thought.
Children, like with your kids, different kids. 100%. me like almost like I hit rock bottom, but it was just a little thought that I shouldn't have thought. Children.
Like with your kids, different kids.
100%.
Need like, I'm hard headed.
So you're going to have to whack me hard a few times.
Whereas, and my son was the same way.
Hard headed.
You're going to have to like,
you're going to have to beat us down into submission.
Whereas Norma,
Norma.
You just looked at her the wrong way
and she was compliant.
So it's a sweet little girl.
She's doing the tech talk.
Yeah, I mean, her mouth probably,
she even with her mouth, like my kids,
oh, you know, everybody goes through a little bit
of a stage, but I mean, even that wasn't even bad.
I didn't really deal with the nasty.
And if I did get it, I got an apology like so quickly
from both of them.
And still to this day, it's so funny
because my son said something to me the other,
I think it was Wednesday.
And he came to me the next day
because I hadn't seen him until the next day.
And he was like, hey, listen, I want to apologize
because you were right.
And I shouldn't have said that to you.
And it wasn't even that bad.
But it's still like, you own things,
but nobody's perfect, I guess is what I'm trying to say.
But other people, you can be a hard-headed person
and you can learn to just
be like this guy.
Change your whole life around. Or you can be like you or like, no, you aren't like Norma.
Or you can be like Norma, compliant.
It's such an easy switch.
Yeah.
Like Vanessa, Vanessa is a Norma.
Like actually you're not, you're even more than Norma
because you were afraid of your shadow.
I'm more tender.
You're way more tender, that's true.
But you were like afraid of anything.
Oh, I had a plan B.
If just in case I was left behind.
Right.
Just in case.
Just in case.
I had a plan B.
And I wasn't afraid of being left behind.
I knew I was being left behind.
Right. So you and Vanessa would probably preach from different perspectives.
Way different, Tracy. It's exactly what you're saying.
Exactly. And so we also have to take that into account.
And like Pastor Tom, his background being a police officer.
And I've never touched police officer background stuff.
I never had to walk into that kind of situation ever in my life, see anything that he's seen.
So it's just something you have to take into perspective
and appreciate, you be you.
You know?
Right.
But it is so true,
because you are gonna speak to the congregation
that the Lord has given you.
Correct.
The culture in which you are living in.
And if you go over to Russia, listen,
you're gonna have to preach to that culture.
You are going to have to change how you,
that's the way it is.
Otherwise, you're not gonna be received
and no one's gonna know what the heck you're trying to say.
It's true.
Absolutely.
Facts.
Like Paul says, when in Rome.
When in Rome.
Right.
Do it.
But I think that everybody that's perplexed or whatever, just kind of like, don't be perplexed
about it.
Or let it propel you to study it out.
Right.
You know what I mean?
Don't get offended.
Just be a Berean.
Study it out.
But a lot of times people, a lot of times people don't want to study it out because
that requires change. And they don't want to change.
They like their lifestyle.
They like things the way they are.
And they'll go to the church that brings them the peace
and the comfort that they need to live in that lifestyle.
The only problem is it doesn't change your destination.
Correct.
So remember that.
They're just lulling you to sleep.
So as you go off the cliff,
you're going, weeeeee, instead of like crap.
Exactly.
It's truth.
It is.
Truth.
Truth.
Just the way it is.
Just the way it is.
Perspective, people.
Yeah.
Perspective.
Yeah.
So, well, thank you for joining us on the Hope Hotline.
We will see you on Sunday
back here on Wednesday, correct? We're back on Wednesday. Yes. Because the next week we're not.
Right. We'll be with the youth. That's right. Doing our thing in Tampa. With the youth.
How do you say it if you're from New York? The youth. Or no, youth. Youth. Youth. That's right.
Thank you for joining us.
Watch us on Sunday if you don't have a great church to attend.
And what I mean by great church is not somebody who kites their message off of the, um, the
internet, off the internet.
You know how you know if that's happening?
Type in the message series and see if it comes up.
Then you'll know.
Yeah.
He ain't writing it. Don't go there.
You're going to the church that guy is talking about.
Which, both those Yehous over there,
those two Yehous over there,
they have gone to those.
They'll tell you.
Scary.
It is.
Scary.
You don't even know that you're going there.
You don't even know that you're going to a church like that.
You're just like, this doesn't make, this isn't right.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's just like, hmm.
Or if you're not burning and hungering and thirsting,
you're like, wow, this is great.
This is the best thing ever.
And that's the thing.
It's one of the other.
Sunday has always been just the cherry on top
of our walk with the Lord, right?
And so we never really lasted very long in like art churches
because throughout the week we're, you know,
we're studying, you were in fellowship.
And so when we went on a Sunday, it was like, Ooh, okay.
Like it felt off.
Yeah.
Well, it didn't line up with the word.
Yeah.
So you're like something ain't right here.
Something ain't right.
Something ain't right.
But then there's nowhere else to go.
But then there's Tracy who's like, you be you.
I was like, no, the whole time I'm like, I don't know.
You can't put your finger on it.
And so you're like, I'm gonna still go
because that's the right thing to do.
And you're ministering to other people.
And you're like, where else am I gonna go?
I've already gone to all the churches.
I've gone to all of the churches.
And you're ministering to people
and you're seeing what you're doing
in their life,
changing their life.
And we had gotten to the point where
before we found Foundation Church,
we were like, all right, we're just gonna be
like a home church.
We're just gonna do holy.
We're gonna do church at home.
You get to a point where we're like,
where are we going?
And you go to all of them.
Where do you go?
Hope, where do you go?
Well, it's bad when you're growing
because you're actually sharing the word.
You're growing and they kick you out
because they don't want the church to grow.
Yeah.
That's exactly what happened right here.
And so by the time we found Foundation Church,
I felt like I was like battled fatigued.
I went in with like my like spirit man had like a black eye.
I was like bandaged up.
You're pastoring people who don't wanna grow,
which is completely against the word of God.
Who does that?
I don't understand that thought process.
We like it the size that it is.
It's unhealthy.
Let me tell you, healthy things grow.
Every time.
In nature, that's how it works.
Unbelievable.
It makes, well, let's think about it. They grew in one, like one time in one service, 5,000.
Right.
Right.
Like that happened overnight.
What if somebody said-
Have you read the book of Acts?
Yeah. What if they said,
No.
I don't want to grow.
Paul would have kicked him to the curb.
Yeah. Yeah.
Peter would have been like, you gone.
Yeah, he gone.
But people would be offended now
because literally if they dealt with the true disciples,
the true men of God, from back then,
they'd be like, yeah, no, you're not the guy for me.
Right.
Yep.
I'm watching the chosen season five.
I know, I know.
Don't say anything.
Don't promote it.
No, okay.
I like it.
But go ahead.
The latest episode was of Jesus making a whip
and whipping everybody in the temple.
Yes.
I need to watch that one.
Jesus didn't whip anybody.
I love it.
I wanna see that.
Jesus didn't whip anybody.
That's the modern day Christian. Jesus didn't whip anybody, that's the modern day Christian.
Jesus didn't whip anybody.
We haven't seen season two, three, four,
but we're in season five.
I love it, because Jesus is whipping people.
Love it, sign me up.
Give me the whip.
That's a great way to get into trouble
with a modern day believer.
True.
Cause Jesus does not whip.
He only whipped the table and got the money off of it.
There was no whipping.
Yeah.
I'm like, whatever.
I know, I know, I know.
I'm not gonna go in that path.
I know, I know, I know.
Not going down that road.
I'll whip a table.
Yeah.
Like, don't you think people are in the way?
Right?
The money changers are just gonna allow you to do that?
Right.
And it's a long whip.
You know there was somebody that got caught in the fire.
The line of fire. Exactly. And he was mad. He was. He did not sin when he was angry. Oh. He took care of
business. Yep. If you got in the way, you got in the way. That's all there is to it. See you on Sunday.
On that note. Thanks for joining us. us come Sunday will whip you into submission
Whip you into shape
Have a great weekend, it's gonna be one
hot
muggy
damp
waste
And hey listen, I will say this because I've been watching a lot of things.
Let's just say a real quick prayer.
Let's pray for Oklahoma.
Let's pray for West Virginia.
Let's pray for Texas.
And where's my other one?
New Mexico.
Let's pray for those four states right now who have dealt with some really tough flooding.
Listen from people who have had to go.
Our houses, except for Vanessa's.
Our houses, every single one of us,
from Talia to me to Tracy, our houses,
both Tracy's and Talia's houses destroyed.
Destroyed.
From, I mean.
From water.
From water, from flooding, and from the hurricane.
Ours was not completely destroyed, but it took a big hit.
So we know what it's like and we know I have such compassion
for people who are going through
what they're going through.
Now, one thing that does make me a little happy
for some of these people is these were their vacation homes.
Okay, so it's not that it's good,
but some of these places were just their getaways.
They're vacation homes.
They're not the homes that they have to live in year round.
So to me, in some ways it makes me a little bit happier,
but I still feel from them
because the build back is very frustrating.
And I mean, and we had God,
so I can't imagine what it's like without God.
I know, me either.
I mean, I just, I mean, this church is still
not put back together and we still don't have
everything resolved with the insurance company.
And it's now going on September 28th.
It will now be September 28th, 2022.
We're in 2025 people. Let's have compassion. Let's believe for great things for these people.
And let's put our faith towards them. In Jesus' name, Father God, I just ask for every single family,
every single person that has taken a loss either from a human life that was taken from them.
God, I ask for compassion, I ask for comfort, I ask for peace that only you can provide.
If they don't know you, Lord, let this draw them into you and let them feel your mighty presence.
And Lord, show them your power. Show them your power and how, Lord, if they do know you, that all things are restored.
And just like in so many ways in the Word,
you didn't just restore, you took them back to better
than what they had before.
Your promises are yes and amen.
You never fail us.
You never forsake us.
And Lord, if they don't know you, Lord,
I ask that they come to know you.
Let this, like a Romans 8.28 situation, like make everything work for your good.
We praise you. We thank you.
And again, allow no black cloud over them, Lord.
Let them feel your presence and your power and your mercy and your grace in this situation.
Give them favor wherever they go
and Lord multiply everything in their hands.
In Jesus' mighty name we pray, amen.
Amen.
We love you guys, we will see you
and thank you for joining us.
See you Wednesday, bye. Real talk. Real talk. Real talk.
