A long time, no C people.
It's been a long time.
How many weeks?
So many, right?
No, it's been at least two.
I feel like it's been forever.
Feels like it's been forever.
I don't know how to do my job.
Well, was last week the conference?
Yep.
And then the week before that, you had to be off on a Friday.

Well, let's go.
That's a problem.
Okay.
And a good way.
Okay.
Yep.
I like it.
So you want to do your thing and then we'll get it right into it?

for her to be able to be ready and prepared to answer um so she'll be here so mark your calendars
come for that you guys know we're on ticot um hope Vanessa me
and Talia's. Norma's on there too if you want to find her. She has so much content on there.
I don't even know. I think it's been a month since I've been on there. I know. It's been so long.
It's crazy. I know. So go watch all of her stuff. Life has been busy. And Pastor Tom has his as well. There's some new stuff going on his
TLP clips. And so yeah, check that out. And of course, his preaching clips as well. We like to
ruffle feathers on TikTok because that's always fun. And then foundation
Church, of course, has theirs as well.
We actually almost at 2,000 followers.
So I'm going to have that 3-000 very soon.
Yes.
I think we're at 1,097, I think was the last one I saw.
So, yeah, we're moving and grooving on that.
Don't worry about that.
That's just TikTok, no matter how you open it.
Let's see.
We have, oh, no, sorry, just kidding, 1100.
I was like, I know.
I know.
It's 2000.
Oh my gosh.
It was 1097.
You did just a girl math.
That was girl math.
Oh my gosh.
That's way,
watch tonight.
Watch tonight.
One's going to go viral and we're going to have 2000.
I'll be like, told you.
Totally.
Okay, just kidding.
We have 1100.
Okay, moving right along.
And then really, yeah, because Cray's done.
So now the last thing that we have,
which is the most important thing
that we have,
is Easter Sunday. So this is the time, guys. This is where you can invite anybody that you want to church.
And they will probably say yes. So invite them. We have two services. It's going to be wild. It's going to be
crazy. It's going to be awesome. So you can come to the 9 a.m. service or you can do the 1130 or you can
stay the whole time if you want. You just hang out with us all day. It's going to be a great day.
All that worship, all those words that Pastor Tom's going to have.
We'll have two different messages.
Of course he will.
Oh, yeah.
Right, no way.
He would be bored going through it again.
So yeah, please, if you want register today, that would be super helpful.
If you just go to our foundation churchFL.com and you click events, you can pick which one.
So there's a 9 a.m. option events page, and then there's another one 1130 a.m.
They're on two separate pages for you guys.
So, yes, we would love for you guys to do that and join us and bring your friends and your family and your neighbors and everybody you know.
Bring them all in.
Get them saved.
And then the next week's baptism Sunday.
So perfect.
Yeah, let's just keep going.
Let's keep going.
What's the week after that?
Exactly.
Hope.
I don't know.
You're talking to a wrong person?
That's Heather.
Okay.
Let's ask Heather.
Okay, well, ask Heather.
I'll text her.
She would absolutely know.
I do not.
I know.
No, I usually know, but there's nothing.
That's it.
Do you know what I realize?
I am not a pink person, but I have so much pink now.
Why are you not a pink?
pink person. I don't like it very much. But it looks good on your skin tone and your eyes.
I just like, I just was looking at myself and the thing. I'm like, man, you have a lot of pink.
And I just bought a whole lot of pink for somebody's wedding and bridal shower.
I know. And Valentine's Day thing. Yeah. Oh, and the volunteer dinner. That's what I was trying to say.
Yeah. So I'm like, I am pinked out. Yeah. Well, bring in some yellow. Oh my gosh. I.
I plan on it. I'm trying, I'm going to try and find something for Easter with that has yellow in it.
Cute.
No, I love that.
I have to.
Cute.
I know.
I do.
Butter yellow.
Oh, I love it.
Oh, I didn't really realize that.
I was like you're literally wearing it.
Yeah.
I love yellow.
It's like my favorite color all.
Yellow is beautiful.
Let us, I'm going to do sponsors.
Are you done?
I'm done.
That's it.
It's all I got.
Yeah.
Easy.
Easy.
Easy.
I'm going to do sponsors and then we're going to flow.
Perfect.

I am so literally, I am so glad to, like, be back.
I love a routine.
I know.
I thought about that on the way here.
I love a routine.
I know.
If you canceled today, I would have been disappointed.
Really?
Yes.
Yeah.
I was because I was like, like, ready to go.
Like, I was like, I got everything done this morning.
And I just felt like I was ready to like.
Go on.
Yeah.
I don't know.
Let's do it.
Yeah.
But like I'm like, you know what I find, I find stability in is a schedule.
Yeah.
I do more when I have a schedule.
Oh.
Because I feel like I have to get things done.
Like there's that sense of urgency, right?
Yeah.
Like when I don't have, I have a whole week off.
I'm like, I've got a whole week off.
Oh, that's how I am.
Gotta have a list.
Whenever we like cancel for whatever reason, I just roam my house.
Like, what is, what do I do?
That's scary.
Go to Taco Bell.
Go to Taco Bell.
She does.
She does.
Gosh.
That's interesting.
I love, I have been on a weight loss kick because I had gained weight back.
And I would kill for some Taco Bell right now.
They have a new item.
It's a mini crunch wrap.
Oh, yeah.
What is that?
Chipotle crunch wrap.
It's delicious.
It's like, it's hard to explain.
How many calories?
300.
Oh.
No.
Oh, I thought that was good.
It's many.
That means it's small.
That means you can eat one.
How much am I going to get out of that?
That's not enough.
One did fill me up.
Okay.
There's reasons for that.
I don't want to talk to you.
I, on the hand, would not be filled up.
No, you wouldn't.
So let's not even talk.
You can add nach fries with it.
I can't.
Nach fries.
They're fried, and that is ever increasing in the calories.
You're not wrong.
I know.
Yeah, you're not wrong.
I used to hear people say, I just look at food and I gain weight, and I be like, yeah, right.
Okay.
That's a true statement.
I can't stand it.
I know.
It's tough.
It's tough.
It's rude.
Oh, what tangled web we weave when we eat too much, our eyes.
want to eat. I don't know. Oh, that was cute. No, that was a, that, you're a poet and you didn't
know it. I don't really think it, it really, it really, it really didn't really rhyme. It didn't
really rhyme. Pretty much sucked. I actually thought that was something like famous or something.
I was like, go with it. Oh, well, it actually is. Oh, what a tinkled webby weave when we practice
to deceive. Oh. Where have you guys been? Is that Shakespeare? Very young. No. I'm just a
It's just a phrase that people used to say about people who like were liars.
Because liars, oh, what a tangled web we weave.
When we practice to deceive.
You're a liar.
You're causing yourself a lot of problems because you have to have another lie.
To cover that one lie.
Exactly.
And then you have to remember what you lied about.
And that's why I can't lie.
I can't either.
It's too much.
I can't keep secrets.
I can't.
Okay.
Everybody remember that. Don't tell Vanessa squat.
No, I think. Don't tell me either. Don't tell me. I don't want to know.
I can't do it. There's too much pressure.
I know. Oh, my gosh. You can tell me. I don't care. I keep lots of secrets.
I don't know. I know lots of things.
Accidentally. Not very often. I hardly ever.
It's always on accident for me. It's never on purpose. It's always on accident, but I just.
I have done it, though, but it ain't common.
But when I got too much, when I got too much going on in here, I can't remember everything that can't be repeated.
Right, exactly.
That's why I don't want to know.
Don't even tell me.
I don't even want to be in that spot.
Oh, my gosh.
Surprise parties?
Man, trying to keep the engagement from Kylie.
I know, that was miserable.
It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do.
I know.
You get excited and you want to talk about it.
Literally.
And you're used to sharing everything with them.
Like, you share stuff and then you can't share this huge thing.
No.
I don't like it.
It's hard.
Dumb.
Dumb.
Okay.
I'm sorry, let's do it.
Let's do it.
Okay, I'm going to probably need one of you guys to explain how to do this, but the topic of,
because I don't know how to do it.
Can't tell you.
I can tell you.
She probably knows how to do it.
The topic is, and here's the thing, this is going to be social media related, but some people
could use, like being on the computer, some people could say shopping, some people could
throw whatever their thing is, is, then that would fit the bill.
But we're going to talk about social media because on the whole, that's what most people
spend a good amount of time in and it actually has a spiritual effect on them.
I have more ways than one, which we're going to talk about.
I think social media business-wise is fantastic.
Social media personal-wise is very dangerous.
So you've got to be super cautious and careful
how much time you spend on it
as a believer.
If you're not,
which most people who are watching this,
I would dare say, are believers.
Speaking to you as a believer
to be extremely cautious,
but there's reasons why,
which will go into detail on,
that if you're not saved,
well, it's just the norm.
And I'm hoping the ones that aren't saved
are coming across our path
for church to like draw them in
and say, I want to find out what that place is like.
I'm not, there's something missing in my life.
I liked what that person just said when they were preaching.
Or I like that, like, when that girl or guy was singing that did something to me,
I think I want to visit that church.
That's really what, when we do social media, that's really what the platform is for,
along with reminding people of different things.
But I think that a lot of,
of times with most people, social media, or whatever you love is affecting dramatically your walk
with God. And the thing is, is you're wondering why things aren't coming around for you or like
there's promises in the word of God and you're sitting there going, oh, they're not working for me.
Like it says that, but I'm not getting that. And you become frustrated and then you start
doubting whether or not the word is true. But what I would say to you is right now, pull out your
phone, and you're going to have to tell people potentially tell you how to do this, but pull out
your phone, and we're going to find out who, who is, what is more important to people? Is social
media more important or is the word more important? Let's pull out your phone. Everybody pull out
your phones. I don't know how to do this, so I'm going to do mine. And let's see how many hours
We have spent on our phone just today.
How do you do that?
So you're going to go to settings.
I'm going to go to settings.
There should be a search bar in settings.
You can type screen time.
And then it should pop up.
And then you can click on see all app and website activity.
And it'll tell you your daily average is what I see.
Yep.
So if you click on right here, see all website and activity.
It'll show you all the apps.
The problem is with the, just so you know,
if you don't ever log out or something like that,
there is a thing that makes it,
like if you don't get out of social media,
isn't there a thing like if you're stuck in it?
If you watch YouTube, it'll count it as social media.
Like if you're listening to worship music.
Oh, no, that's going to.
Yeah.
But you can see most use.
Like if you scroll down, you can see categories.
You can see categories.
How do you do that?
So click on when you get into that devices.
And there's week at the top.
Do you see that?
And then day right next to it?
Yeah, screen time today.
Yeah, then you can scroll down to most views and it starts showing you messages, Instagram, mail.
Oh, because mine says health and fitness, social entertainment, which my entertainment was YouTube because we were listening to worship music.
Yeah.
Okay, so.
So my social for the week is 14 hours.
You can.
But you also, okay.
And you also get, that's part of your job.
I don't know if you can really count yours, Tau.
I mean, all of us to a certain extent, ours is our job.
But most people, it's not their job.
True.
Okay, like mine.
At the top, where it says most use, you can click right next to it, show apps and website
or show categories.
I did that.
And my social media is like an hour.
Okay.
That's what mine is.
Click the week and see what it says.
I did today and mine's only an hour today,
which I don't even know what that was.
Oh, it's telling me
it was messages.
Mine's messages too.
Mine's saying it's mostly messages.
I don't have any TikTok or
Instagram or anything today.
Did you scroll up and click week right here?
Try and click week.
Because that'll do like the whole week.
Six hours and three minutes.
and like Instagram was one hour.
Your food muck things.
I'm just kidding.
No, TikTok was 27 minutes.
Bible Gateway was like 44 minutes.
You don't even want it.
I was about to say you don't even want to know chat.
Chat was only 39.
Chat was 39 minutes.
Wait, where's mine?
There's five minutes.
There's no way.
Microsoft was a lot.
I was doing today.
I was doing my whole week.
I did my week.
24 minutes.
Rumble was a lot.
No, that's the week.
And messages was four hours.
I was messaging for four hours with people.
Last week I messaged for six hours.
Wait, for the week?
Yeah.
Mine was 11 hours and 36 minutes.
That's crazy.
Probably.
That's insane.
Probably, yeah, 11 hours and 36 minutes.
My average is two hours and my daily average is two, almost three hours.
Yeah. It's crazy. No, it is crazy.
I love Life 360 because you can see, you can see like it'll show you like when someone was
distracted or like when they were speeding and it shows you like how much it's gone up.
It's like I was looking at my distractions and it was like 77% or something.
Oh my gosh. I'm not surprised. I'm not surprised at all.
funny. What I would say though to all of that is if you look at, it would probably be best to look at
on the daily, right? Because it would be easier to identify daily like what you do. And my,
my thing would be to ask you this, okay, so you identify that what you, how much time you
spent, like, we'll focus mainly on like social media. Because that, like, like, a lot,
A lot of people have jobs.
So, like, me, I spent time in Bible Gateway.
I mean, so do I, that's not social media.
I spent time on YouTube.
I was actually listening to worship.
Part of it was our worship.
Part of it was another worship.
So I have, like, over an hour on YouTube.
But that's also work.
And then there was personal worship time.
So what I would say to you is compare your social media time, your entertainment, social media time,
depending on what that entertainment consists of
because a lot of times people get on YouTube
and they're just jumping from one thing to the next thing
and it's entertainment for them.
They're watching a TV show, they're watching a movie, whatever.
So I would say to you is your social media,
your entertainment time, compare that to the amount of time
that you spend in the word today and your prayer time.
Which one is more?
Right.
What's the balance in those things?
and then you'll find out what is more important to you.
Is your walk with God more important to you,
or is your social media time more important to you?
Social media is, it is detrimental to people about,
it's detrimental to them spiritually speaking in many, many ways.
One is knowing the word, walking in the word,
having the faith to when you walk through things having the faith
faith by hearing and hearing by the word
and people wonder why things don't happen for them
well you don't know the word you don't pay you know
spend any time in it but you sure do know what's going on on social media
or what's going on in these actors or sports or athletes or whatever
you know everything about them but you don't know about the very thing that saves your
very soul right and that is very dangerous
but yet you'll say if somebody gets sick and doesn't pass and that passes or doesn't get the results that they want,
you'll swear that they have the faith.
They didn't have any doubt and unbelief.
And I would dare to say, the word is the word and it is truth.
And how can that be?
Including in my own life.
I can look at different things in my own life.
and I sit there and go, I'm standing on something, and I'm believing for it.
Now, what am I doing in order to see that manifest?
And I have to examine, you have to examine your walk with God.
It's not a works based.
It's a words based.
And there is a difference.
I was, you guys want to add anything because I, like, I'm going to, like,
intertwine this into something I told, I think you did Vanessa, did Tracy tell you how I'm
going to like intertwine it it's kind of like sure kind of weird no she didn't the psalms
okay well don't talk about it no I'm not and that's why I don't know I'm sure she did well what I'm
she did no I didn't ask to tell her what it was I was like did she talked to you that's a yes or no
she did tell her but just didn't say the intertwined part does anybody want to add anything
to what I'm saying keep going yeah I have stuff but not yet okay yeah so
I was listening to Kenneth Hagan.
I actually sent this to Norma.
I don't know if you listened to it,
but I was listening to Kenneth Hagan,
and he correlated something.
I was telling Tracy,
like I am seeing things in the word
in different ways that I've never seen before.
But one of the things is he was talking about Psalm 91.
And I went and I started reading Psalm 91.
And I was like, what the what?
because it's like I was it's like Romans 12 I was telling Tracy it's like it's Romans 12
Romans 12 when I read Romans 12 and I saw how it literally laid out a Christian walk from the
beginning of when you get saved all the way to finding your calling all the way to when
you're walking your calling and people try and like come against you how you respond to that
I mean it's like it's so simple it is so simple to know how to live a Christian life just based
on Romans 12.
But when I was, when I listened to Candace Hagan, I didn't correlate it like this until I
started working on my thing last night.
And I was like, oh my gosh, it's like, one plus one equals two.
It's like, what in the world?
It's like, how did I miss this for so long?
And it's because I think the Lord is trying to show me things differently than I've ever
read them before.
Or you know how, like, Tracy was saying, how she reads Genesis and things are coming off the page to her in a different way than they ever have before.
And I am sure Talia and Vanessa can say the same exact thing when they read the word from when they read it five, ten years ago.
Or last year.
Like, every year, if I reread Genesis, I'm like, I see something else.
And I'm like, oh.
Yeah.
And it just applies differently because my life's in a different spot.
So, like, I might have missed that part of the story.
like I read it, but it didn't like hit because it wasn't applicable at that time.
Right.
You know, because where you were at.
And also sometimes it's revelation knowledge.
True.
That definitely.
Yeah.
For sure.
And like for me, I'm like, I think it's where I'm at.
Yep.
But it's also revelation knowledge for me.
I think it's a good combo for me right now.
And when you realize like the Bible is a spiritual book.
Right.
And before you like open it, like ask the Holy Spirit for revelation to show you, give you eyes to see
what because it is a spiritual book and when you open it up like you can receive something completely
different yeah um expectation literally yeah every time yep it's so true but i was when i was trying to
like i was saying to tracy i was like there were so many things i wanted to talk about today and then
all this fall into place with this one topic i'm like i know what i'm talking about it would be because
i haven't been here for we haven't been here for a week and a half and there's so much
this thing. It's like, what do I want to do? Which one do I want to talk about? And it just fell into
place. Thank you Kenneth Hagan. Yeah. I'm reading his book right now. Which one? The Believers
Authority. That is such a great teaching. Yeah. It's so good.
Goodness gracious alive. Yeah. You need to listen to the teaching too that goes alongside it.
I plan on it after I read it. It's a, well, I think it's a four part, but it's very hard to find the
fourth. I think I found it once. But the three, if you go and find the three part, it's so good.
But Psalm 91 really, like, breaks it down, like, to make you understand,
if you choose the wrong love or passion or entertainment,
you're going to really mess things up for yourself.
And it says in Psalm 91, it says,
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the almighty.
And the thing that comes and just flies off the page for me.
Okay, there's a list.
So let's go with that.
He says,
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
shall abide under the shadow of the almighty.
I will say of the Lord,
he is my refuge and my fortress,
my God and him I will trust.
Then it goes on to say what you get in Psalm 91.
Surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence
And he shall cover you with his feathers
And under his wings you shall take refuge
His truth shall be your shield and buckler
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night
Nor of the arrow that flies by day
Nor of the pestilence that walks in the darkness
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noon day
A thousand may fall and I love this
This is like one of my favorite verses
of all time. A thousand may fall at your side and 10,000 at your right hand, but it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look and see the reward of the wicked, because you have made the Lord,
who is my refuge, even in the most high your dwelling place? No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling.
For he shall give his angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. And their hands, they shall bear
you up lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. And because he has set his love upon me,
therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high because he has known my name. He shall call
upon me and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life, I will satisfy him and show him my salvation. And all of us,
would say, man, man, I want that.
Yeah, absolutely.
And a lot of people have it memorized, and they quote it before they get on something that
they're afraid of, like an airplane.
They'll start speaking it over themselves.
Although, like, I've literally gone into people's, like, at the, at the, at the,
Lord telling me at the Lord's request and telling me when you go into this hospital room,
this is what I want you to read over them, which was Psalm 91.
I don't know why.
Like that's between them and the Lord, but it must have meant something to them.
Because some scriptures I would choose over Psalm 91 if somebody is in the hospital.
But that was the one he told me.
But the thing I would say in Psalm 91, I actually find quite comforting.
And I was hearing when Kenneth Hagan was talking about it, and he was saying, like, Psalm 91 is our, it's like our guarantee kind of thing.
Like, everybody should use that, and lots of people know it, but everybody should really stand on that.
And I'm like 100%. And a lot of people do.
The only thing is, is what I noticed in the first verse, which is what a lot of people don't do.
which is he who dwells in the secret place of the most high.
They want everything, but they don't dwell in it.
They want the promises of Psalm 91, but they don't dwell in the secret place of the most high.
And then it says, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Is that where you're abiding?
Do you have his protection?
Do you abide under his shadow?
And in order to abide, you have to know him.
You have to have a relationship.
And they'll get the relationship.
You have to dwell with him.
And you wonder why you don't have all the things Psalm 91 has to offer you.
Because you don't dwell and you don't abide.
Yeah.
That is actually something that the Lord has been showing me recently is there is an exchange that happens in the word.
You know, you need to dwell.
and then all these things will apply.
Yeah.
He also showed it to me with that scripture.
Think on these things.
Whatever is true.
Whatever is loving.
Whatever is worthy.
What else?
Think on these things.
And then the peace of God will be with you.
Are you thinking on those things?
You have to think of this.
There is this exchange.
There is this responsibility from us that has to occur in order to obtain the thing that
the Lord wants to give us.
Yeah.
it's so true
Tracy where are you going to say
because you said when I got to a certain place
yeah no
well and you can go backwards from that
if you want those things when something
happens when you have to think
on these things
if you're not immediately thinking of God
in those moments then of course you're not going to
have those things so it's like a good fact check where am I
dwelling if something bad happens
do you immediately go to fear and anxiety
then you're probably not dwelling in God
if you're dwelling in God when something bad happens
you're immediately like running to him
Right.
You know.
Yeah, because Isaiah says,
a man will be in perfect peace
whose mind has stayed upon thee.
Literally.
Because he trusteth in thee.
Right.
Yes.
Okay, you have to trust him.
Right.
But you have to stay focused on him.
Right.
And how do you trust someone?
It's by spending time with them.
Right.
Knowing their nature.
Right.
I trust Jeff fully.
Mm-hmm.
Knowing their character.
And it's because I have a relationship with him.
We are intimate together.
Right.
Yeah.
You know somebody.
You know somebody's character.
When somebody's character and when somebody has come through for you over and over and over and over again, your trust level increases.
It just does.
But without relationship, you'll never know.
It's not possible.
Right.
Exactly.
Which brings you back into the social media thing.
If you're spending an hour on social media and fear can come in because you're seeing what's happening,
the world. People's opinions can come in. All these things that are not even what we're supposed
to be dwelling on or thinking on come in. And then you don't even spend an hour to like break all that.
So you're like building every day an hour, social media, two hours, social media, three hours,
social media. And then you go to church on Sunday and you're drained because you didn't do anything
all week long to dwell in him. And then you wonder why you're dry and you have to, and the,
and the worship team has to crank the pump to get, which we really don't deal with very much here
at Foundation Church.
But there are people who walk in here dry as a bone.
It's because you have invested nothing in your spiritual walk all week long.
All week long, right.
And how do you expect to get something?
Like you expect, you're expecting someone else to do something for you to get you motivated.
It doesn't work like that.
Right.
In order to be motivated to come in into worship, you have had to be in the presence of the Holy
Spirit.
it. People can't do for you that you're something that you're not willing to do for yourself.
Right. And it's amazing to me that people have an unrealistic, unrealistic expectation of that.
Right. Yeah. I mean, even we have like such a great community. It's like kind of crazy how good we have it.
Because if something happens, we have a 911 person and you can call her. But we even say, don't call her immediately.
Like go to God first. You deal with it. And if you don't see the result that you're expecting, then yes, reach.
out and don't get worse.
Don't fall.
Like, then your mind starts running and then you're like, I'm not good.
And all the things happen.
So then grab your team.
Like tag your team member.
But go to God first.
Try him first every single time.
And then you've exhausted all effort.
And listen, hey, literally I, I don't, I don't fault people because I even myself.
And it's not on, sometimes it becomes, depending on what is going on in my life or what
is sometimes literally I feel like things are being piled on.
Yeah.
And at some point, the piling on for me has to stop because I'm like, you can only pile on so much.
And then at that time, then I sit there and I'll go, okay, I'll call my few or my, my small circle.
And I will say, okay, this is what I'm walking in.
this is what I'm dealing with.
And I need you just to stand in agreement with me.
That does happen.
It doesn't happen a lot, but it does happen.
And you have to have that team.
You have to have that group.
But really, that should really always be, like, I don't do that unless I am at a very
weak place.
Spiritually speaking, I have bad.
battled and battled and battled and battled.
Right.
And I am like, Moses, needing somebody to hold my hands up with me.
I think of one instance where I was going to,
I was going to fight to the very end and no one was going to know.
And because I have the people I have in my life who operate in the gifts.
Right.
Right.
Right.
They literally called me out.
Because God was like, no.
No, you're not fighting by yourself.
Right.
Right. And I was like, okay. And I feel like that's the extremes usually. Like either people are like going to like die in it because they're not going to tell anybody or every they tell everybody everything. And so there's like there is. There's like this healthy place and it's Jesus. Like you just. Lord, should I bring somebody in for this one? Lord, should I not tell anybody right now? Should I just trust you? And probably is going to say I want you trust me. But there are times where you've exhausted all options. You fought. You stood. You did all the things. And the thing is when you do bring people in and then they see the break.
through. Like, that's so fun for me. Like, I love being on a prayer team because when I see a
breakthrough, I get to add that to my, yeah, my belts. I'm like, yes, like another one.
But yeah, but, and also know this, like there's times, like, with Tom when he pinch both
his, he pinched the nerves in his hips, I literally knew, I, I'm not kidding you,
there wasn't a doubt in my mind that I was going to reach out on this one, because I,
knew it was spiritual.
Was he stupid?
Yeah.
But I also knew that it would be
that Satan would have a field day with this.
And he wasn't going to.
I literally knew it was
my warriors against his warriors.
And there was going to,
there's more that be with us than them.
But I put on,
I knew it was going to be spiritual warfare.
So I reached out to Aaron
and I had the worship team immediately
start after practice
start praying
and waging war
and then the youth group
did the same exact thing
I called up
or I texted Tracy and I said
because a lot of times
it's not just the physical part
that you're having to overcome
it's the mental part
and when you're so used to
Tom is so used to
preaching every Sunday
that
like he can't stand it
so he preached that following
Sunday which was good
but he didn't preach the one after that.
And that wasn't good.
Because it bothers him.
And there's way more to it than just that.
But like I knew.
Like I got to get in there.
And the great thing was is the first week we did everything wrong and he still preached.
Then we found out we were doing everything wrong with his pinched nerves.
And then we started doing it.
But we were told basically what we were being told about it is that it's a two to three week
recovery. So we don't have two to three weeks. We don't. So you get in there and you fight. And I literally,
I'd be lying if I said I didn't have anxious moments because I did have anxious moments,
but I had to suppress those things. And I did not stop praying in the spirit or in the word
except for to do work. And even then I'm working and praying in the spirit.
because it's spiritual warfare.
You can, you can, I'm not saying you shouldn't call people in.
You got, you got to know when you got to call them in because it's bigger than just one person.
But then also you got to know when you're just weak and you're like, I need help.
I just need help, you know?
Yeah.
But you know I got to learn to fight the good fight of faith on your own a lot of times.
Yeah, you got to.
Yeah.
Yep.
Yep.
That doesn't happen if you are not dwelling.
And that was a learning.
an area for me
because in that moment
I was fighting and I was believing
and I was standing
and I was like I can do this with the Lord
and especially because I mentor
women and if I'm causing
them to go higher and expect more
than I have to do the same
and so
yeah I did that but also the Lord
showed me like we need each other
and it broke and it immediately
broke immediately
great fruit yeah
there's just sometimes in life
where it's a one-on-one thing.
And then there are sometimes in life that there are just sometimes in life
that you just sit there and go,
whatever comes at me, I'll take it on and I'll handle it.
And I'll do and I'll, like, I don't know.
I think I'm in a season right now where I'm not complaining
and I'm not saying that I can't handle it
because I, you know, God is faithful and he who endorsed the end, you know, and I will, and I know
the victory is on the other side of everything. But it literally feels like every day, have you ever
gone through a season where it's every day is a fight to the finish? Like every day there's
something new, whether it be one thing or two things, whether it be health issues, whether it be
financial issues, whether it be business issues. Do you know what I'm saying? Some times you're just
skating through and you're like, we're coasting. This is good. And then other times it's like a trickle.
You know, and then other things, it's a tsunami. Yeah. I think I'm in a season right now of
tsunami. And it's not that I've not been here before because I have. But there are times.
in the tsunami, I'm like, I think I need, I think I'm going to need some backup here.
Yeah.
Yep.
And that's okay.
Right.
You have to be okay.
But listen, don't expect Psalm 91 to work for you and get dismayed and all frazzled
and upset when you don't see it happening for you because you're not doing your part.
Yeah.
You're not doing your part.
Honestly, I sat for two weeks in a bed next to my husband praying,
reading,
sometimes fasting.
Like all I did was
God, God, God, and more God.
And like, that's what you have to do, but a lot of people
would be like, I'd be so bored.
Yeah, that's it.
It's not, it's abiding and dwelling
and not leaving when it's convenient or inconvenient.
Because it was probably inconvenient for you
to have to do that because you probably had plenty of things to do,
but you knew.
In order to get to the other side.
this is priority.
It was absolutely priority.
Even if it felt inconvenient.
And you went to war for your husband.
Right.
But you know what?
I'll be honest with you.
I felt like it was more than Tom.
It was Foundation Church.
Yeah.
There's a lot of people who rely on Foundation Church.
And they rely on the leadership of this church.
Yeah.
And how dare we not wage war for them?
Yeah.
For sure.
Like it's like for me in some ways sometimes it is a matter of life and death for some people.
Oh absolutely.
It is. It is.
And I like I take all of that so seriously.
So it was Tom?
Yes, 100%.
But I felt I felt compelled for my church and my people and my family.
And so because Satan would love to take this church out.
He literally would love to take this church out
because it's really one of the few,
if only churches in this area that stand strong
and says the things that need to be said
and does the things that need to be done.
And he would love us to be like every other church in the area.
Well, we're a light, we're a beacon.
We're like a city on a hill.
And I don't know, like people,
People really, if people, this is what I love what you did, Tracy.
When you had the youth pray and stuff like that, you had them pray over the pastoral leadership of the church.
And I think a lot of times people forget to do that.
There are a lot of people who do.
But the majority of people, including myself back in the day, I would forget to pray for my pastors.
Because you just don't know, like, you don't know what they're going through.
You don't know what their family goes through.
And it's fiery darts.
It really is a lot of times.
And like when you, when people are praying, it's huge.
It is huge.
It's huge.
Especially for this church and congregation, not just for the pastoral leadership, but it's huge.
Yeah.
When I was going through my divorce, like I physically felt when people were praying for me.
Like I knew.
Yeah.
Like, it was, I don't know what, I don't know even know how to describe it, but like I could tell when people were praying for me.
And it literally shifted those days.
Like those days were so easy, even though it was never easy.
Right.
Every day was a tsunami.
Every single day, because there's always something coming.
Right.
But I could, I 100% could feel when people were praying for me.
Yeah.
It's like a covering kind of.
It's like a little blanket or something.
I don't know how to explain it.
I don't either.
But you feel, physically can feel the.
blanket and covering.
Yes.
Yep.
Which is so sweet.
It is such a sweet place.
But that night when I had all you guys praying.
Yeah.
I mean, he wasn't, like, he was never in pain.
Yeah.
I mean, he was achy, but he was walking.
He was doing everything.
It was more about, like, wanting to be making sure he was here.
He was doing his podcast.
It's the weight of the things that you're not doing.
and he can't stand to lay in the bed.
Like it makes him go crazy.
So it was really more of a mental thing of,
okay, what do I got to get,
what do I got to do to get to the place where I'm back?
And I'm not going to, this is not going to take two or three weeks.
Right.
We don't have it and I'm not doing it.
Right.
And so.
Yeah.
And those kids were going to war.
I heard and it was powerful and I loved seeing those videos.
And that is, that was a beautiful thing.
It was.
It was a beautiful thing.
And it just goes to show, like, what you invest in.
Parents, if you have a kid in the youth group, you've done a great job.
But so has the pastoral leadership and the leaders, youth leaders in there.
Like, great examples because you replicate what you see.
Yeah.
And what's really cool about our youth group, I mean, really, like, yes, we'll take some responsibility for it.
But, like, they love this church, and it's not their parents because their parents don't even come.
Yeah.
And so they come on Sunday because they love Pastor Tom.
so much and then they come on Wednesday because they love Jair and obviously asks as well but like there's
these strong men that are leading this church and that is not found it's not common no it's not it's not
it really isn't and um so sad and they want it so badly that they their parents aren't even coming to
church that's how badly they want it so it's amazing it really is it's this is a very unique time
right now in history it is like it really is it's weird because tom and i um a few weeks ago
I talked to Aaron about it.
Tom and I were talking, we spent a lot of time talking the last couple weeks,
but Tom and I were talking about, like, it reminds us right now,
like this tsunami time for what we feel like we're experiencing.
We remember it, it was like COVID.
Just before COVID and the Smackdown and lockdown.
That's what we feel like.
we're kind of like in right now.
And I don't know what that looks like.
And I don't know.
But it's spiritual.
Like there's,
and something very similar transpired with us.
Um,
just before COVID in the lockdown.
And I remember looking at Tom when we were walking through some stuff.
I said to him,
I was like,
I think this is like,
I think this is all spiritual warfare.
I think there's a,
this is way bigger.
than what we, I feel it.
I feel the oppression.
I feel the,
because Tom, because Tom,
because Tom,
I think you're right.
I think,
I think this is way more,
because he,
he was discerning something,
but he couldn't put pinpoint it.
He just kept saying,
I don't know what it is,
but like basically,
I sense evil.
I sense evil.
I can't discern right now what it is,
but something's not right in the spiritual realm.
I remember saying that to me.
And then later on,
we see everything so I don't know what's going on but Aaron even said that because I have sensed
it just before the beginning of the year sometime in the fall and he said the same thing he's like I
have felt an oppression myself and so I don't know I don't know what's going on in a spiritual realm
but we need to be waging war because we don't fight against flesh and blood right but about spiritual
principalities and things like that and if you don't think that that's real that's more real
than what you actually see.
Absolutely.
I've been training for five years.
I really thought after COVID hit,
like this was,
we were never,
ever going to have a normal again,
ever.
So I've been prepared for whatever's next
for five years now,
six years.
Now we're going on six.
Because that's why,
like, I found this church
because I'm like,
this is never going to end.
They are never going to take masks off.
They are never going to let us
go back to the grocery stores
without the little lines on the,
like, I was like certain of it.
So I'm like, I'm going to find my people
and we're just all going to go
to the grocery.
wear together with no masks on.
Like, I don't know.
We're going to figure it out.
I will tell you that whole time, I wore my foundation church shirt.
Yeah.
Everywhere.
Like a shield.
Because we had a,
there is a reputation.
We had a reputation around this town.
So don't even ask me to wear masks because I'm wearing my foundation shirt.
And you know, we did attend foundation church and do not wear masks.
So don't bother.
I'm not even kidding you.
I wore it every time I left my house.
Yes.
That's fucking funny.
I almost got into a fight.
with an old lady, but that's another story.
Oh, my gosh, you would have whipped her.
You would have taken her out.
It wasn't even her.
She wasn't even doing anything.
Oh, my gosh.
She was just a baby.
Vanessa was just on edge.
She's backed into a corner.
I was back into a corner.
And you were scared.
And then claws come out.
Exactly.
She goes feral.
Oh, my gosh.
That is so flipping funny.
Oh, yeah.
You just stay prepared and you stay ready and you draw the line in the sand now.
Literally.
And then then you're good.
Like, whatever comes, whatever is whatever comes.
and have your people.
Like, I'm bringing people to Florida.
I'm like, come on.
It's not the time to be alone.
Like, come to Florida.
Come down here.
Like, like-minded.
Yeah.
And you have to.
You have to.
You have to.
But when you don't, like, when you don't see the things that you're with great expectation believing for, you need to, like, really look at, am I doing.
Am I doing what that scripture says that I have to do in order to see the results that I am expecting?
Yeah.
And I don't think a lot of people do.
Right.
that that if anybody can take something away from today like that's what i would want them to take away
is if you like reverse engineering you want this over here if you're not if this isn't in your
hands yet are you dwelling and abiding yeah like really like really be honest with yourself like you
don't have to even answer us go home yeah about it and ask like am i really doing what i'm supposed
to be doing but here's the thing and a lot of people think dwelling just means reading your bible
But dwelling does not mean that at all.
And dwelling means to sit, to remain, to inhabit.
Yes.
Inhabit.
It's way different.
And then it says that remain, oh, it's, I looked up,
what does remain and inhabit mean?
Remain focuses on the act of staying put
or continuing to exist in a specific state.
Right.
That doesn't mean you get to come and go.
Right.
That means you're locked in.
Yeah.
No matter what.
No matter what.
Inconvenient, scared.
Right.
Doesn't look good.
None of it doesn't say.
It's not fluid.
It is, I'm stationed here.
Yeah.
And habit means focuses on occupying, occupying.
That means owning.
Occupying a location as a home or habitat.
whether for people, animals, or even abstract concepts like spirits.
Wild beast inhabit the forest.
Christ may dwell in your hearts.
So he inhabits us.
We should inhabit him.
Let me see.
I'm going to skip all the way down.
So for me, I'm going to, we'll touch on some other things on Friday.
about that because social media is when it does become more of a priority than your walk
with God.
They're like, I just, for me, I just, I've never, like, I've looked at social media and, like,
I find, I have always found social media, social media to be more of an annoyance than an
entertainment.
And a lot of people feel differently than that, correct?
Like more people, the reason I felt annoying is because I realized how nosy I was and how much of a busy body I was.
That's why I was looking at it.
And the word is very clear about being a busy body and not to do that.
I found that I didn't like the reasons why I was looking at what I was looking at.
It made me feel gross.
Interesting.
So for me, I'm like, because I was then.
being critical of others or being nosy in a busy body, which is very gossipy.
Sometimes you're not even repeating what you're saying, but you're doing it because of that
gossip spirit that you have, right?
A little leaven.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I have never been a big social media person, but a lot of people get it through their self, get
social media gives them self-worth. Do you know what I'm saying? Yeah, I do. Yeah. It's so dangerous.
I know. And the other thing is a dopamine hit. That's why I do it. A dopamine hit because of just the scrolling.
It's just the next, like the next exciting thing that like what like I get to turn my head, my, my, my brain off. Right. For me, which is like TV for a lot of people. Right. And it's no different. And if your algorithm is set up the way that, you know, it's funny video after funny video. Right. But yeah, I totally get what you're saying. I don't. I don't. I don't.
too too well that's why i hate facebook yeah i facebook i felt that critical spirit because i i'm not critical
at all like i'm looking for the good and it was just constantly and i was like and i could not that i
wanted to be critical but i could feel me being annoyed with them which is a critical spirit and so i just
hated facebook because i'm like except on like mother's day and father's day and christmas and thanks
because you see your family and you never really everybody like everybody's posting cute pictures and i'm
like oh look it like their mom and those are the days i really liked it the other
times I was a gross individual.
I like Facebook for my memories.
Like I'll check my memories.
Oh, that's cute. Oh, yeah.
And then I, I cringe myself out.
Like, why did I share that?
Oh, yeah.
Immaturity.
Seriously.
Yeah.
I really put it was your diary back in the day.
That's where TikTok is different.
Yeah.
Like Instagram is kind of different than Facebook, but it's very
similar still to Facebook, in my opinion.
I can find, I try and stay off of
Instagram as much as I possibly can because it is still
so close.
to Facebook.
Depending on who you're,
yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure.
Depending on your following.
Well, the thing is, is
what you're looking at
nine times out of ten are
the sphere of influence that you have.
Yeah, right.
Whereas TikTok,
it's not.
It's not.
Yeah.
It's a whole bunch of random TikTok.
Facts.
And it's usually funny.
Like, for me, I'm like you guys.
If I look at TikTok, it's for entertainment.
like a TV time, TV time.
Or I'm usually laughing.
And Tom's, I'm like, you got to see this.
And he's like, I never think what you think is funny.
So why are you showing this to me?
I'm like, this time you will.
I promise you.
I promise.
You're going to love it.
You're going to love this one.
That's so funny.
Yeah.
Normally he doesn't.
Or you fall in love with a monkey called punch.
Oh my gosh.
I love punch.
I love punch.
No, he does not.
He does have a girlfriend.
I haven't been on TikTok in so long, but I do love Punch.
Punch is a monkey that was abandoned.
Abandoned.
Abandoned by his mother.
And nobody, none of the other monkeys really wanted anything to do with them.
And he's such a little guy and so cute.
But his zookeeper is so sweet and takes great care of him.
And they got him a stuffed animal because literally nobody wanted anything to do with this dog.
And the stuffed animal is a monkey itself.
Yes.
I don't like monkeys.
And it's so sweet.
They're not on my algorithm.
Is it in China?
Is it in China or Japan?
Japan.
It's so sweet.
I don't know.
But yeah, I love Punch the Mugger.
See, that's the kind of stuff.
Like I'm like you, Vanessa.
I'm like you.
Yeah.
Unless I get caught up into the people getting caught cheating.
Oh, no.
Not still?
No, I haven't seen that in a long time.
I haven't seen that on my algorithm in forever.
Let one of those.
What's that guy's name on the,
something?
Then in the morning.
Oh, yeah.
He's got that fun.
Oh, my gosh.
I forgot about those.
Yeah.
Yeah, I haven't seen that in forever.
Like probably six plus months.
Yeah.
Jubil.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Thank you.
Good job.
I only know that because one car ride,
we were listening to the whole entire time.
Me and Hope.
Oh, my gosh.
I love him.
I love catching.
I loved finding out how people got caught
and why they stopped dating somebody.
It's very funny.
Super funny.
But, like, but is that work?
My time? No.
No. Is it worth your time? No.
Right. Are you going to get somebody healed that way? No.
Right. Are you going to get whatever you're needing from the Lord? No. And the thing is about what I love, what was Psalm 91, what I highlighted and underlined is verse 5 says, you shall not, which remember what Chris Ann Hall said about the word shall. Yes. Mm-hmm. Yes. Mm-hmm.
you shall not be afraid.
And then it goes on to say of the tarot by night.
And like most of us, if we're going to have,
if we're going to be afraid, it's usually at night.
Because we're alone with our thoughts.
Everybody's asleep.
Everything's quiet.
Everything feels heavier at night too.
It's such a dark, even though it is dark outside.
It's very dark.
It's a very dark time.
And man can Satan, if you let him,
play tricks with you.
Oh, yeah.
And it's dangerous.
But what's great about that is you shall not be afraid.
And so I just say to you, like, invest in him.
If you're not getting what you're believing for,
if you're not getting, and I'm not saying there won't be time so you sit there and go.
I'm believing this, but I would be lying if I wasn't.
a little anxious about that. You'll get over your anxiousness way quicker by dwelling in the secret
place because then the Holy Spirit will come in and he'll be like, what did I tell you?
Right. Yep. You have nothing to worry about. If there's a bill that you're having,
you're really nervous about paying because you just don't know if the money's going to come in,
if you paid your tide, the word is true. You can count on him. Yeah. Okay. You don't have to worry
about a dagum thing.
But if you don't dwell in him,
then you can't abide in that shelter.
And you're going to worry
and you're going to allow anxious thoughts to come in.
You won't very long if you're dwelling.
Satan may plant those little seeds
and he might try and make you believe something
that's not true, but he won't get too far
the more you have dwelt
in the presence of the Lord.
And then the Holy Spirit.
And it'll change radically.
doesn't mean that he's not going to try.
He's not successful based on the amount of time that you have spent with him.
So that is it.
Yes.
You guys want to add anything?
No, that was.
See on Good Friday.
Yeah.
Oh.
It's Good Friday.
It is Good Friday.
Yes.
I love Good Friday.
Me too.
Me too.
We're actually closed on Good Friday here at Foundation Church.
Okay.
But.
But.
We'll be seeing you because that's such a special day.
It is.
So see you on Friday, which is good.
And we'll talk to you later.
Bye.
