Hello and welcome to the Hope Hotline.
Thank you so much for joining us today on this Wacky Wednesday.
Oh.
Yep.
It's pretty.
It's pretty wacky.
All right.
Not really.
I just had nothing to say.
That was interesting.
That's yours.
Yeah.
I'm not centered.
There we go.
Okay.
Yeah, perfect.
So to catch everybody up on everything, which they don't really care, but I do.
Caleb Flynn has been found guilty.
On all counts.
On all counts.
This has been the craziest ride.
And I have been like outside of the ride and I've been hearing stuff randomly.
But this one was I was like, oh, what's going to happen?
Maybe he's not going to be found guilty.
Oh, I.
Because of reasonable or a doubt, doubt, reason, doubt.
Reasonable doubt.
Reasonable doubt.
Because of reasonable doubt.
Yeah.
But he, I mean, listen, there's a reason why he had no one.
speak on his behalf.
He didn't speak on his behalf.
He had nobody to counteract
anything anybody was saying.
There's a reason why. He literally
They asked the defense,
do you have anything? And they were like, no,
we rest. Like, you're resting
and you haven't even presented anything.
There's reasons for that.
Because everything that they would have presented,
the defense, or, yeah,
everything that the defense
would have presented, the state
would have
gone after it.
Yeah.
It would have made him work worse.
What's happening to Alia?
That's what I want to know.
If you are buying what she's selling that her phone fell in, just before, just before the murders, she goes on a trip to get away.
To Florida.
Good old Florida.
Loses her or drops her phone and destroys it in saltwater.
Imagine that.
Yep.
Imagine that.
And then her computer.
Just gets lost on an airplane.
Yeah.
Yeah, I ain't buying it.
Not for two seconds.
What did I do with my phone?
All right, next to me.
Isn't she engaged to another man right now?
Is she?
What?
Yes.
Yes.
What?
No way.
Yes.
This is news.
Breaking news.
Breaking news.
How old is he?
I don't even know, but.
Let's find out.
I don't even know what's happening.
I'll catch you up.
It's the worship.
The American Idol guy, remember?
You weren't plugged in on Friday.
Yeah.
You're taking photos.
You know who else is going to court?
I think it starts today.
Is that guy that tried to throw his wife off the cliff?
That was something.
Oh, man.
In Hawaii.
Listen.
People, just get divorced.
Divorce is not an option.
Just get divorced.
It's 100% legal.
I mean, it's weird that she felt weird about going up higher with that guy, with her husband.
Yeah, that is, that's if he, I don't know any of the story, but why did she feel weird?
She didn't want to go up there.
And he was like, I don't want to go by myself.
I don't feel safe or something like that.
Some crazy crowd.
Apparently, she was having an emotional affair with someone that he got wind of.
And he was like, you did more than just talk on the phone with this person.
I didn't know that.
Yeah.
So she was having an emotional affair.
She probably didn't want to go to Hawaii with him.
Right.
Wow.
So she was fighting tooth and nail.
And so his argument is that as they were going up the trail, they were talking about this and that she tried shoving him a couple times.
And so he was defending himself with syringes in his hand.
Yeah.
How do you prove that?
I mean, that's a stretch.
So did he throw her off the ledge?
No, he tried to.
He tried to.
So she's still alive.
And he didn't, they, in the crazy thing, he's going, they're going up the, where they're going
hiking up the hill or whatever up the mountain.
And there are two other people that they see and he was wishing that they were alone.
Did you know his son sold him out as the ones who told him one?
Yes, I do know that.
Wow.
Yeah, because he went to the kid and was like, don't tell, oh, send him a tell.
pecks first or something like that.
And then the kid was horrified of the father.
And the father went to him and was like, you can't say anything.
And then the kid was like, you just tried to kill my stepmom or something like that.
Oh, yeah.
His kid timed him out.
Listen, where is that mini documentary on this?
Like, where did I see it?
Right.
And that may be where I saw it.
Actually.
It's like a mini, it's a little mini.
Imagine.
These are all fake.
I don't.
Yeah.
It's compartmentalized and broken down into little parts.
Like, but, but again, Netflix is rocking and rolling on.
Dude.
Murder killers that are husbands.
They're really getting handed documentaries.
I know.
So many.
There's so many.
Oh my gosh.
I have like a whole week to watch them.
And then, okay, five minutes in.
One more thing.
Yeah.
Red, the attorney.
Yep.
Oh, I know.
I know.
I know.
I know.
I know.
I know.
there's not enough proof that she did it.
I know.
What the heck?
What's happening right now?
I'm like, dude, are you kidding me?
He's like, hello?
You were on different TV channels saying that the husband didn't do it.
The husband didn't do it.
Yep.
Then who did it?
This is how you lose credibility.
I know.
Big time.
Big time.
Come on.
Don't do this.
And that she never admitted to doing it.
Right.
Okay, well, that's not true.
So, I don't know.
Like, people have gone cray, cray.
It is.
This is crazy stuff.
Yeah.
I mean, again, is there enough evidence to say that she did do it?
No, because even she said she was repeating what she was told that she killed them.
Right.
Yeah.
But.
But is in all caps.
Yeah.
And so, like, there's a lot of holes.
There's a lot of holes.
But at the end of the day, it's just like Caleb Flynn.
Like, it is circumstantial.
Nobody saw him pull the trigger.
And it is like, I mean, was his girlfriend's, no, it's, it's just, it's us about the girlfriend.
It is.
If she put him up and basically, like, mentally tortured him enough to make him be like, it's
her or my wife.
I'm going to kill her.
because they both were saying they wanted her dead.
Like all these things I sit there and go,
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
That doesn't seem right.
No.
But at the end of the day,
go to jail, go directly to jail.
Do not pass go.
Yeah.
Come on.
I did see the jail that he was in.
Oh, I know.
I told you.
It's the Miami County Jail.
In Ohio.
And it's not even the penitentiary.
No, right.
No.
It looks like Tijuana, Mexico.
Yeah, it literally looks like a third.
country.
Really?
And they're like, as it should, all the comments.
It's why he looks like the way he does.
And that's why they think he looks like that.
Oh, he looks rough.
He looks like something else.
I mean, he is a...
He looks extremely dehydrated.
He's a shell of a person.
I mean, you just have to sit there and go, what does life look like for him?
Right, because he wasn't a bad looking guy before then.
He was very muscular.
Yes.
Probably like 60 pounds heavy.
Oh my gosh.
I mean, you have to wonder, is he, like, being passed around?
Like, I don't mean to be disgusting.
No, you're right.
Because he looks rough.
Yeah.
Oh, my gosh.
So bad.
And the whole thing's just sad.
Like, it really is.
Like, there's two girls that lost their mom and now their dad's in jail.
I know.
And the parents of Caleb, like, so sad.
And let me tell you, he had the most amazing setup.
100% he did.
He was.
employed by her dad.
He was making like $200,000 plus.
$250,000 a year.
And he had just released funds because he was like,
I want to do a living inheritance
because I want to see my children enjoy the money.
So her dad just gave them like $80,000.
I know.
And he had like different categories.
I want you to spend X amount on fun things for the family.
I want you to spend X amount on being generous to the community.
And I mean, the most amazing setup you would ever want as having in-laws.
And then he's talking bad about him, trashing them behind their back.
How do you, you.
Maybe they were a little bit controlling.
Who knows?
I don't know.
You can say, well, they were super generous, but what was their generosity?
What was behind their generosity?
Because a lot of times people are, they're giving and.
With strings attached.
Yes.
So it is to control you, not to.
Not to bless you, not because, you know what, you're my kid.
And you know what?
What I got is yours.
And so, like, I'm not going to tell you how to live your life.
I'm not going to tell you what to do.
But I am your parents.
So I'm just going to bless your socks off like God does, right?
Yeah.
There's no strings attached with God.
But he does ask you to stay into the fold.
Right.
So, I don't know.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
I don't know.
It's a little suss.
like all these people.
Yeah.
Crazy.
It is.
So do I think they did it?
Absolutely 100%.
I mean, even like when Tom and I talked about
Lindsay,
Clancy, we were like,
there are holes.
But on the whole, both of us were like,
she did it, 100%.
Like both of us were pretty convinced.
And, um,
but,
but you do have to talk about how like,
that's what court is for.
Yeah, but some of that stuff was very,
still to this day, it's very odd.
Like your body temperature,
like all of that,
like that does not,
that still doesn't add up to me.
I know.
It makes no sense to me.
And nobody scientifically can explain it.
Right.
In that short amount of time,
how your body temperature gets to that.
I don't, it makes no sense whatsoever.
It doesn't.
Unless, she said her body was wet.
Unless, but even they say with her body being wet and going out the window, which maybe that's why she did it on purpose to ensure that she would die.
Who knows?
But even all of that, you sit there and go, that still wouldn't make your body temperature go to 84 degrees.
That's really low.
It's like it doesn't, like it doesn't make sense.
I just wish, like, we knew the inside.
That's what I, like.
I know.
I just, like, not knowing the whole entire picture drives me crazy.
because I just want all of these little pockets of things that create the doubt to be filled.
Yeah.
Yeah. I know.
Not that I doubt because like I said, I think she did it.
But I just.
Some reasonable doubt there.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, whatever.
But there's a lot of crazy crap going on.
People are nuts.
That's what happens when you're devoid of God.
100%.
Because you no longer, like, you are discused.
sensitized to life.
And you're so selfish that what you want is way more important.
I literally thought to myself, how can somebody take the life of someone else when you
could file for divorce like you were saying, Vanessa?
How do you, and this is what I think.
Because you are so selfish.
Excuse me.
Burping.
You're so, that was selfish.
I didn't even consider you guys.
You're so selfish about what you want and what your needs are.
If you file for divorce, then what will you lose to that person?
And how long will it take you and how much work will it take you to get all of that back?
Okay.
So it was for Caleb Flynn, he can still, if his wife dies by at the hands of somebody breaking into the house,
he still keeps his job.
He still keeps his kids.
He doesn't lose any money.
He actually gains probably from an insurance.
And then at some point, he can make it look like he fell in love with the woman of his dreams or the love of his life,
but they can make it look like it's organically happening with nobody even finding out about it.
On paper, good idea.
On paper, it sounds great.
And that's how you're like, what I want and how I want it is way more important than
Then doing it through just, you know what, I'm having a fair.
I'm in sin to begin with.
Let's just do the deed, get the divorce.
And I'll just start all over again.
That seems way too difficult for people.
So they're just like, screw it.
I'd rather potentially go to jail because going to jail seems way better than living this life.
That's what I think they mentally do.
Like I, this is worse than going to jail.
So I'll take the risk of going to jail.
and yeah you've got to yeah there has to be a risk reward so that yeah a hundred percent there has to be
something you mentally have already had to be there because even with her even with him shooting her
in the back of the head two times i mean like you've had to process this through yeah you've had
and like his girlfriend his mistress looking that crap up on her phone i'm just saying
i i find it highly suss yeah i'm not saying
that she had anything to do with it,
but it is very suspicious
that she's looking up all that crap
and not planting seeds in his head.
Oh, yeah, no.
For sure.
And that's why I'm like, why isn't she?
That's what I say is suspicious.
Why isn't she charged?
But it goes back to, do I think she was involved in it?
Probably not, but I think she played a huge part
mentally in making it happen.
Well, they didn't do enough checks either.
They didn't check to see she was actually at the house.
They didn't see all this other stuff.
So the involvement in the planning.
There's something because she said today or he said today's the day.
And then today is the day.
Like why would you say that stuff?
But she's saying it's because I thought he was going to be filing for Dory
Rehorse and telling her I'm leaving him.
Just like the husband leaving Lindsay Clancy's husband leaving those kids in her care.
Like I think all of that like not smart.
Isn't that called an accessory to murder?
Well, if you know one's going to happen, but I don't think he did know it was going to happen.
I think that...
No, she did.
Oh, yeah.
Well, I mean, they said, you're dead.
There's like 700 text messages.
I was dead.
They talked about her dying.
Once a month.
Yeah.
At least.
Like, you don't think that after a while that you desensitizing somebody.
You're like breaking all of that down.
Like, for me, I'm like, how is it that she's, but if that girl, thanks for
a second that she's gone scot-free. I think that she's next on the list as far as being
investigated secretly, I think. Can they do that? I think anything's possible. I think anything's
possible, especially if he goes to jail and he starts talking and he starts saying stuff.
Also change your identity. Cut your hair, diet, because everybody knows your face. And if I see
you, hear me out. If you're listening to this podcast, Olaia, if I see you in public, watch out.
Oh, I'm going to lead you to Jesus.
That problem is, to the real Jesus.
If you think about this is what's so scary is both of them on that platform,
they were having an affair singing and worshiping the Lord.
How, how, how, how?
It's because most churches don't have Holy Spirit involved in them anyway.
So the conviction is not, there's no anointing, so there's no conviction.
So there's no, like, prodding.
This is right.
This is wrong.
It's however you feel.
I mean, talk about wanting to kill somebody on a regular.
On Saturday and then leading worship on Sunday.
Yeah.
That's tough.
Like, you should acquit your job a long time ago, sister.
I know.
I had a different job.
And then they all attended the same church.
So Ashley's probably in the crowd looking up at them.
Right.
100% she is.
Oh, my gosh.
And then the comment about O'Lea saying like she was going to fast and pray if they need to be together or not.
Like that's how delusional they were.
Oh my goodness.
Yeah.
That was one of the text messages.
You don't have to fast and pray for that.
I'm like, well, you're living in sense.
So.
But yeah, she was like, I need to make sure.
Like if you're actually going to leave or I need to fast and pray if I'm supposed to be with you.
That's gross.
You're with him.
What are you talking about?
So bizarre.
Oh my gosh.
So bizarre.
Yeah, there's just this delusion.
You know what?
If Paul was the life, they would be.
getting a letter. Paul would have written the letter a year ago. That church will be getting a letter.
Man, oh man. I like literally, that Caleb Flynn guy, he looks so bad. He looks like he's been
to Mars and back. Like some girl on TikTok was like, I give him six months. He's not going to make it.
You know a man that has hope in him. Yeah, he's not going to make it. He's too weak. He's too weak.
Like mentally.
Oh, gosh.
Oh, yeah.
He doesn't have what it takes.
How long has he been in this jail?
Since February?
Okay.
And he's down almost 60 pounds.
He looks the way he does.
Could you imagine another?
And now he knows that there's no getting out.
There's no hope.
Like, there's no hope.
Yeah.
I mean, not good.
At least, you know what?
He's in jail now.
He'll be going to prison.
Right.
Maybe prison is a lot.
better than the jail that he's in.
Maybe.
I've never heard that before.
Because it's pretty rough.
I've heard the penitentiary is by far worse than any jail you can ever experience.
Really?
I've never been.
That's what I hear.
Back in, when I was younger, when I was a teenager, they had this thing called
Scared Street.
Oh, yeah.
I've heard that before.
For, like, the troubled kids.
And they would send these troubled kids to Rikers Island, which is like the worst, absolutely.
worst jail.
They would be in your face. No.
I do not go, but I saw it.
I think they have it.
They have it. That's how I know about it.
It was like a show.
I had like a Netflix show or something like that.
Oh, Discover TV.
Marmoness.
Oh my gosh. Maybe if Caleb
went to his scared straight.
Oh, you probably should. He would have
avoided this one. Probably ever went their
lifetime. Maybe it should be a requirement.
Should we send our kids? I think we should.
the whole youth group
we got a field trip
I feel trip
I don't know
not good
it's crazy out there
I mean people's lives
that do not have God
I know
it's bad
or have a form of godliness
it's scarier that like they
they showed that they were Christians
like that's like the worst part of us
you know I
you know I sit here and I think to myself
man that has got to be
like every day frightening.
But hell's worse.
I know.
True.
But hell is worse than any prison you could ever go to.
Yeah.
Max.
Like, I mean, and people don't even think about it.
Yeah.
I know.
Maybe he'll finally get saved in prison.
Maybe he will.
A lot of people find God in prison.
They do.
Yeah, I hear that.
And then they get out and live like hell.
But he's not getting out.
That's true.
He's stuck.
Maybe I'll stick this time.
Maybe he can lead worship in there or something like that.
He might be singing right now, far away now.
No.
Okay.
I have a confession.
Okay.
What'd you do?
Do you know how Caleb did like that AI song?
Right?
Oh my gosh.
I woke up to my very own AI song.
No.
I'm not even kidding.
No, you didn't.
Your husband wrote one?
No, your husband did not write you an AI song.
He didn't.
Oh, my gosh.
Is it on Facebook yet?
He's gone.
He's been gone for 24 hours.
Maybe a little.
He can't bear it.
And the man is just like confessing his love for me.
And I'm just like, are you okay?
He just loves you so much.
Oh, my.
He had a moment.
He wrote that song and it just spoke to him.
It brought me right back to Caleb.
I was like, wait, should I be afraid for my life?
I don't accept AI's songs after Caleb.
Oh my.
He's got a touch of Rodney and him now.
He does.
Rodney loves these songs.
He does.
So it's that generation.
It's that Rodney anointing.
I love their AI.
You do love their AI.
And were you laughing?
Or were you crying?
I was trying to listen to the words.
You know, like, that was very emotional.
I was like, was it a guy or a girl singing it?
It was our love story.
Oh, my gosh.
What?
Oh, my gosh.
I'm so glad Tom does not know I, A, I know.
I mean, we don't even post about each other on social media.
It's true.
So, thank you, Jesus.
You also never go on social media.
You did the other day, though.
I do go on social media.
No, post-wise.
Yeah. You're not a big poster.
No. You'll share stuff in your stories,
but you're not a big poster.
Yeah, that's true. But you did. The other day, you were
actually really impressed with that
with that bus situation.
Wait, I missed that. Oh, you did?
The bus that ran up the SCF sign.
Oh, yes, I do remember that one. You posted it
first, and then everybody in their mom posted it.
I got there right when it happened.
You must have been shocked.
I was stunned. I was like,
oh, what the what? What is that?
up the sign and then as I get closer and I'm like that's a bus.
A literal bus on a sign.
Oh my word.
Pretty rough.
Pretty rough people.
Okay.
Okay.
We're here for a podcast.
Not to talk about murder.
Not talk to talk about prison life and all that other good stuff, which is highly interesting.
It is.
And also, like, learn from these people.
Like, seriously.
Get divorced.
Or exterminate.
marriage and stop looking outward.
That's insane.
Don't choose murder.
Murder is not the option.
It's not a lesser sense.
My goodness.
Okay, so do you have any announcements?
Yes, we do.
Let's do them really quick.
Okay, let me do them real quick.
I haven't done this in a while.
So I'm going to do this.
If you're watching Facebook, you can like, share and comment.
If you're on YouTube, you can say hello to us.
We have a conversation going over and rumble, so feel free to go over.
Soon we're going to figure out our TikTok.
We've got to talk to Aaron about that.
And then obviously we always have the audio podcast.
So you can go anywhere, Spotify, Apple, play, any of those things.
They're always available for you.
We are all of our TikTok.
And so I'm just going to run through those real quick.
We've got all of ours.
We've got the Hope Hotline.
You can just pause this if you need to take a screenshot.
Pastor Tom has a couple too, and he goes live on Friday.
And then we also have our Foundation Church and also Foundation Church Worship.
And those have not been updated.
We actually are almost at 2000.
I said that last time.
I was very wrong.
Crave is coming up very soon, this Saturday.
Please invite your friends.
It's going to be a great night of worship.
And breakfast club, if you're 50 plus, you're welcome to come.
It's October 17th, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
And Dare to be, October 23rd, only for women.
So if you are a woman and you have women friend, we would love for you guys to invite them.
It is a great time just to come together.
We do worship, a word.
and we it's just it's so great always fun when it's just women no offense to our guys that are listening right now but you know it's it's fun it does it just does something you know so those are our quick announcements and coming back to you
rock and roll let's do it so this goes kind of long with uh Thursday night's divine healing but it's not because it involves more
than just this, but tonight, or tonight, today's topic is why do we not see what we're believing
for?
Why don't we see what we're believing for?
A lot of people get really frustrated, where they were really frustrated about this.
And a lot of times, I think the frustration comes from lack of knowledge.
And, you know, the Bible is very clear about stuff.
to study yourself approved a workman that needs not be being ashamed.
Study yourself approved, a workman that needeth not be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth.
You cannot, if you don't know the Bible, then you don't know the promises.
And if you do know the promises, but you don't know how the promises work,
a lot of times, like, people pray and believe for things that aren't even in the covenant.
They're not even, and then when it doesn't come to pass, because God's,
bearing you from you, then you're like, God's not real or, see, I told you, this faith thing
doesn't work.
And they have all these different theories and philosophies as to the reason why what they're
believing before hasn't come to pass.
But you're not even in good standing in what you're asking for.
So it's not going to, it was never going to happen to begin with.
But you don't know the Bible because you don't read the Bible.
You don't study the Bible.
So you're out, you're already.
from the out of the gate you were you were wrong so let's start have you ever prayed for something
and really believed god for it and it still didn't happen i think every single one of us could say yes
yes 100 percent some of us prayed and we were right in how we were praying but we quit
before we saw it um some of us are still believing for it and we haven't seen it but we're still
stand. Some of us have prayed and we were wrong in how we were praying. And then other times
we've prayed and it was not, you know, our steps are ordered by God and God didn't answer
because that's not the direction he wants to take you. There's lots of reasons. So you pray,
you stand on scripture, you confess the word, you've had people agree with you and nothing
changed or happened. And you may be experiencing what I'm talking about right now, which I can
honestly say I am like I'm standing on certain things right now I'm standing on
scripture I've had people agree with me I know it's in the word of God and I like I
still haven't seen it I mean can you guys say that the same is for you or are you like
sometimes I'm not in this state but right now I am yeah yeah I am I am too so I mean
take comfort I guess is what I
I should take comfort and knowing you're not by yourself because.
And there's so many examples in the word of people waiting for the promise as well.
Yeah, which we're going to get to.
Because great.
Do you have a list?
I don't, but I can pull one up.
No, I have a list of people who did that.
Yeah.
That is so true.
Because, I mean, facts are facts.
And there's reasons why.
But the one thing that even with those lists of people is they endured.
Right.
They did not quit.
And that's what a lot of times I think people, which we'll talk about it a little bit,
but a lot of people quit before they even see the end.
And if they would have just held out, then they would have seen what they were believing for.
But, you know, our stamina and so many, we are in a microwave world.
And people just really have no patience whatsoever.
to withstand walking something out.
If it doesn't happen within 24, 48 hours,
we're putting our hands up in the air
and we're like, what the heck?
And it's like, that's not how it works all the time.
There are specific things that you can actually believe
are instantaneous.
But then there's a lot of things that you're going to have to put your time in.
And sometimes putting that time in
means that you have to change you to get to that.
But 2 Corinthians 5 7 says,
For we walk by faith, not by sight.
And that's a problem for people.
Because we are a visual person, people.
I mean, this is the way it is.
And if we can't see it, like the Lord told Timothy,
it is better to believe without saying.
Because he said when Jesus, when the disciples told Timothy, Thomas,
when the disciples told Thomas that Jesus,
was alive and that he had ascended at or had he ascended yet no he had not ascended yet but they said that
jesus was alive and that he had been risen in three days and Thomas said unless i see the
nails in his hands i will not believe and he got corrected for that so it is better for us
to believe without seeing and just know that we're standing on the word of God.
I have a question for you and Tracy, Vanessa.
Okay.
We've all had something we were believing God for, but the longer it took, the harder it became to keep believing.
What did you guys do when that has been your experience?
So I'm currently waiting.
So what I do is I look for evidence every day of the promise being fulfilled.
When you're saying evidence without having to tell us what you're standing in faith for.
A conversation, a change in behavior.
Okay.
And every time I see the Lord will highlight it for me.
I will write it down.
And that is how I have been actively like, because when you're in a way,
waiting season, you do what waiters do. You serve. Right? It's not that you, it's not like you just
like put your hands up and you're like, all right, I'm just waiting here. Like, no, like I'm actively
believing. I'm actively praying. I'm actively, I'm actively looking for evidence of the
promise because I have an expectation that it will be fulfilled. So people can do that with their
bodies though. Yeah. Because they can be looking for evidence if they're believing in
standing for healing.
Yeah.
What?
And you don't look at it with discouragement.
You look at with expectation.
Like you're standing on this healing.
Now you have it.
Whether it be something like a broken bone, you're standing on it for to be healed and
you're going to go get an x-ray.
And you're believing that when they go and look at that x-ray, their bone is totally
and completely healed.
Or if you get up in the morning and you don't have any, you know, as you stand on it,
you don't have pain, sharp pain.
That is evidence.
that something's happening. Yep, 100%. Yeah. What about you, Trace? I think the best thing I can do,
because I'm still waiting on a promise. And so I would say I remain thankful. And so just because I don't have
like the end result that I know it's going to happen, I do kind of the same thing with seeking the
evidence of it. I see little things and I remain thankful even if it's not the full amount and the
full thing and the full wage. I like, I'm thankful for like when God does supply what I need.
in that season. And it's a reminder that if he's doing this with a little, that eventually
that big thing will come to fruition and also just being fully convinced. Like when you have
the gifts of faith and you're just fully convinced it's going to work out, you just go back to
that. And then lastly, don't get too far ahead. Like I just stay in today. Like I know tomorrow's
going to come and tomorrow will have its problems. Maybe something I thought was going to be a big thing.
This is what happens. Sometimes there's like so much on my plate and I'm like, how the heck am I going to
call this time. And then something falls off my plate. And I'm like, see, if I would have worried about that,
I would have been stressed out. Right. So then I just remember, just live in today. I tell Jarre all the time,
when the day, focus on today, do the best serve the best you can today. Like, sow seed into whatever
you're believing for, sew it in a different area so that you know as that seed produces, God sees that
and you're honoring that thing right there, even though it's not exactly this, but they link together.
And he just keep your eyes on him. Yeah. Not on what, on.
not on like the gift versus the giver like focus on the giver the gift will come it's promised be
fully convinced and then just stay focused on that today just today the other thing too is what
you said was being thankful because being if you are thankful when you are thankful
then you're and I said this um last week in our course and like when you're thankful you're prophetically
you're acting like you've already received something.
Like I told the class, I was like,
we teach our children when we give them something,
we say thank you for it.
That means they've received something to be thankful for,
that they're thanking you for.
Well, the same thing goes with this.
When you're thanking the Lord,
you're prophetically or you're believing with expectation
that you've already received it.
A thankful heart is one that,
knows that it shall come to pass.
Normally people don't thank someone for something unless they have it in their hand.
So you're actually saying it before you receive it because you know it's going to come to pass.
And it keeps you, when you are thankful, it keeps your mind and heart in the right place as if you know it's coming.
Because life and death is held in the tongue.
And you can either speak that I don't have it or you can speak that I do with giving Thanksgiving that it's come to pass.
Right.
And there's bunches of scriptures, which I don't have them right here, but there's so many scriptures that say that we are to have, to come with him with Thanksgiving.
We're to pray and then we are to pray and then praise.
Praise is a part of being thankful.
Also, it says that when you pray, also to end it with being thankful.
So there's lots of scriptures that basically tell us that if we are to ask, part of the, part of the foundation of faith and believing that is knowing that it, you know, at the very end of it, that you're going to thank him in advance for what you don't see already.
Go ahead.
Do you guys want to add anything to that?
I saw a video.
I think it was either today.
I can't remember when.
But she was like, I wonder if you, if you, how would you, hold on.
I wrote it down because I'm going to butcher it if I don't say it the right way.
Hold on.
Of course.
I didn't write it down.
Shoot.
But she was like, what if you lived like a daughter?
Like what if you truly lived like a daughter or a son?
would
would your life look differently
would you worry less
because you already knew the outcome
like would you give generously
and not worry about
well I need to keep this
because what if you know like
what if you truly lived like a son
and daughter of God
and believed what you
actually read
because I think a lot of people do think like
I am thankful I do live like that
but then like if you
if Jesus was in the
with you. And he was like, we're good. Like, would you breathe deep? Like, would you be like,
okay, he's here? Because he is. And so I think that's a really great point. Like, do you,
do you, don't be delusional and say, like, you, you are thankful and you do live like this
if the fruit's not showing that. Right. Because you're not. Because you're not. Right. And you can,
you can be thankful, like, and you can be living to that degree in maybe one area, but like,
the other area is the problem. So it's like, it's just being, like, super truthful.
like with where you're at.
Which is where a lot of people don't live.
Right.
They don't live in honesty.
And they live in delusion,
which is very,
very dangerous to be delusional about
what you really believe
and what you really think.
And what your faith,
where your faith is at.
Right.
It's not,
it's not good to be delusional.
Because how do you fix
the delusional?
if you think you're already there.
Right.
That's the problem.
Right.
And I think that that's a really big problem for a lot of people.
Like hypocrisy.
I was talking to normal about this.
People are very hypocritical a lot of times,
but they don't even realize how hypocritical they are
because they're delusional about it.
I mean, I lived like this myself.
And never once did I think.
I had a certain standard that everybody else needed to meet,
but I was delusional in the fact that I wasn't meeting that standard either.
Right.
It's hypocritical.
Right.
But a lot of times we don't live like that.
Yeah.
So we think we've arrived and we're looking at everybody else with a critical eye
or thinking there are one way when we are the same exact as them
and we have an expectation that they should change, but we ourselves are not.
Yeah.
I think in a lot of times, I think the only thing that fix that is fasting.
I was going to ask, what do you think helped with that?
Fasting makes so much sense.
It does.
Fasting is literally denying the flesh.
Fasting radically changes you.
I think that's why the Lord had me write things down.
Because there are moments where if you allow it, you can get a little anxious and worry about the future.
Right.
And every time, every single time I get to that point, I always go back, okay, but he's done this.
Right.
He's faith, he's been faithful then.
He will be faithful.
Absolutely.
Right.
In the present.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
And that's why I've decided that I, you know, as the Lord shows me things and highlights things, I'm just going to write, I'm going to write it down.
That's good.
Yeah.
In moments where, you know, because we're, as much as I want to say that I've arrived, I haven't.
There are moments.
Yeah.
Where I'm just like, the thoughts get come in because the weapon will be.
formed, right? But it will not prosper. And I think that's how you safeguard and protect your mind.
Oh, yeah. And your heart is by remembering. Totally 100%. That's the only, I think, it keeps everything
into perspective. Yeah. And it keeps it so that you can endure. Otherwise, if you're not constantly reminding
yourself, that's why it's really good to always go back when you're having to stand on certain things. It's always
good to always look at what God has already done previously for you or in relationship to whatever
you're walking through. Going back and saying, he never failed before. Why would he start now?
Right. This makes no sense. So having those things to fall back on, those faith reminders are huge for
your personal life. That's one of the reasons why I think it's really important when you're
standing in faith for a healing or something to listen to other people who have been healed
that are no different than you. Yes. So you can go, well, if he did it for them, I'm no different.
Why wouldn't he do it for me? Right. He will. It's not any great mystery or anything.
Yes, it will absolutely happen. Right. But I just said something,
a moment ago, which is basically, what do you believe?
You have to have a foundation of faith in order to...
Sometimes we forget that.
We have to start that.
That's the most important thing.
Sometimes when you've been in church for a long time, you just kind of skip to over here.
But like, go back to the beginning, you know?
Like some of the stuff's built into these newer churches or they're, like, they know there's a bunch of new newbies in here.
So I love that you're starting with this.
I think this is super important.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, your foundation of faith should be what did God say?
Right.
What's God's promises?
Yes.
Like, what has God done in the past?
Because all of those things will tremendously help you to build your foundation.
And it all comes from the word.
But this is the scripture I use all the time because it backs up standing on a
knowing that if you ask for something that you have this relationship with the Lord that,
what's the right word for this?
I can't think of the right word.
Basically what I'm trying to say the word means is it gives you a right to come to the Lord
through what he's done.
It gives you the right to come to him.
with kind of a confidence and knowing that you can ask that question,
you can ask of him that very thing.
It emboldened you, but that's not the right word.
It emboldened you to be able to come to him with a confidence
and knowing that if you ask this of him and it fits in the line
and the guidelines of what his promises are,
then you can ask with no doubting.
And you can be confident in knowing.
that whatever you're asking for will come to pass.
The doubt and unbelief.
Gosh.
My ESE friend.
I didn't, that didn't even cross my minds.
I love you.
That's a millennial talking.
It's because you're all a millennial and they aren't entitled people.
Oh, my gosh.
You're an older millennial, so you're not really living that best life.
but a lot of millennials do.
God, yes, that's the word.
I love you.
You're welcome.
First John 514 says,
and this is the confidence,
and this is the Amplified Classic,
and this is the confidence,
the assurance, the privilege of boldness,
which we have in him,
we are sure that if we ask anything,
make any request according to his will,
an agreement with his own plan
he listens to and hears us.
If that doesn't say it right there, I don't know what will.
I use that scripture all the time because it is your rock.
It really is.
I mean, it basically says, do not worry about anything.
Right.
You got this.
Romans 1017 says,
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
Know your word.
And here's the amplified classic for this.
So it says, so faith comes by hearing what is told and what is heard comes by the preaching of the message, not by a preacher in the church.
No.
The preaching of the message that came from the lips of Christ.
That's what that means.
The Messiah himself.
You're not to listen to the preaching of a man in the pulpit.
And not that you can't.
but what I'm telling you is they will get it wrong.
So when you're listening, faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God.
Okay, when you're hearing the message being told to you, it has to align itself with whatever Jesus himself from his own lips spoke.
Cannot be the interpretation of a man who believes that he understands what Jesus was saying.
No.
What did Jesus say?
And there are two different things.
And I think a lot of times that's the reason why people will go, well, you know, healing was for then.
Or, you know, God gives people things to carry, for them to carry so that he can be glorified.
If you're, if you're, if you're, if you've got the curse.
Okay, God's not being glorified in that.
Right.
And so like, like, again, things have to align with scripture.
in order for that scripture to be applied to it.
Like, if Jesus didn't say it, then that ain't so.
But a lot of people have listened to doctrines
and what people believe what the Bible says,
not what the Bible actually says.
Ladies, do you want to add anything?
Yeah, I always say, what has God told you?
Like, go back to what God said.
And so, and when God said something, it should align with scripture.
So if God tells you something very specifically that's going to happen in your life and you've found
scripture to back it and you've found all these little like puzzle pieces and then all of a sudden
things don't look right. Go back to what did he say. What did he tell you? If he told you this is the
path he has for you when all these things start coming if they're attacking it. Okay. Well then it might be
something that the enemy wants to distract you with. So go back to it. Now come back into where God is.
Get back into this like center place again and then just focus on today. What does he want you to
learn today. And instead of doing the like, why is this happening to me? Why? Like, what do you want me to
learn in this, God? Because if you can start changing your mind about always being attacked and there's
always the enemy and it's always this and blah, blah, blah, blah. Like, just come back to like,
what did God tell you? What promises? What Bible verses are you standing on? And then how are you
going to win today and what is God teaching you? Like, it's just, it's a positive mindset.
It's a way to stay above the things that are constantly coming in because it's John 15 too.
says every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away.
And every branch that does bear fruit, he prunes so that there may bear more fruit.
So there's the branches that he's pruning that are bad and dead.
He'll take those off.
But he's also going to prune the ones that have fruit so they produce more fruit.
So there's always a pruning process.
So to think that you've arrived and that you've now you're producing all this great fruit
and everything's good.
Okay, God's going to cut that.
So you get more fruit.
And so there's, and pruning.
And don't mistake the pruning for the,
the enemy. Right. Right. For punishment. Like punishment. Yeah. Or yeah. Or the enemy coming in and trying
to like hurt you. It might just be God saying like here, okay, we're going to expand your capacity
and expansion and pruning. Last I checked was kind of painful. So it's uncomfortable.
Growing pain. Yeah, exactly. And I had a lot of those growing up. My legs always hurt. I probably
had something really wrong with me. And my mom's like, it's just growing pains. And I delusional
believed it. And guess what? Still here today. Oh my gosh. Listen, even I had growing pains.
My legs.
I can't imagine what your legs felt like.
Oh my gosh.
We probably didn't have enough minerals or vitamins or something.
That's not it.
When they grow too fast, Tom had growing pains.
If you grow too fast, it's very painful.
That's interesting because I did.
I had growth spirts for sure.
Very painful.
But you have to be convinced.
Fully convinced.
You have to be convinced of what God said and that it is true.
I agree.
Because outside of that, you're going to be in a hot mess
if you don't. Double-minded, right? Whipping back and forth and back and forth. And the Bible says
that you can't expect to receive anything from the Lord when that's your mindset. Because you don't even
know what you want. You're so back and forth, God's like, what are we doing? Are you on my team? Are you on his team?
Like, who's the time are you on? Exactly. Yeah. Exactly. What do we do when we are not seeing,
or not seeing it doesn't mean that nothing is happening. And I love talking about this particular
scripture because a lot of times people when they're not seeing something they and I teach this all like
I use this example all the time when I'm talking to people about standing in faith privately
because it was given to me um when I was having to stand on something very very big um it was very big
and somebody brought this scripture to me and they like totally like clicked and it helped
me. So I say this to you, but a lot of times people have already heard this, but I want to remind
you, because you're going to be like, oh yeah, you guys won't be. But when you're not seeing something
happen, it is just like Daniel when he prayed. And we're going to look at that. Daniel 10, 12 through 13,
says, then he said to me, fear not, Daniel, for the first day that you set your mind and heart to
understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard. And I have an eye, which is
Gabriel, the angel who is saying this to Daniel, and I have come as a consequence of and in response to
your words. This is Amplified Classic. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia, which is Satan,
withstood me for 21 days. So Gabriel is fighting with Satan to try and get to Daniel to answer
a prayer. The first time Daniel prayed, Gabriel came to him instantaneously. But the second
time he started to pray, but the second time he prayed, it was 21 days. That's where we get the 21 day fast, Daniel fast. Because Daniel for 21 days, ate nothing sweet and nothing from an animal. It was just like nuts and berries. Not even berries. I think it was just like nuts and twigs. Not anything of great fun or substance. What is that? What is that? It's mostly like vegetables. Yeah.
and there was no fruit.
Nope.
No pleasurable food.
No pleasurable food.
So it was just basically vegetables that he ate.
Have you ever done the Daniel fast?
I always started one.
I have.
I don't think I've ever completed one.
I have.
I'd rather not eat.
Literally.
And I ended up not eating for the last,
I don't know how many days.
And I stayed up till midnight,
counting down the clock,
until I could actually stick something decent in my mouth.
For 21 days, I did the Daniel fast.
I didn't do the Daniel fast like some people.
You get the cookbook and then you make all these like nice meals that are savory and they're good.
No, that's not what I did.
Of course not.
And Tom did it too with me for like 10 days and I thought the man wanted to kill me.
Might have been a little over 10 days.
And he's like, I'll do the fast with you.
And then he was like, what am I doing?
He's like, that was dumb.
And he's like, I don't want to eat anything either.
He pretty much was like me.
Nope.
Yeah, it's a tough one.
If you do it right, you almost don't want to eat.
It's pretty rough.
Makes sense.
So for 21 days, he was fighting the Prince of Persia.
And then he says, then Michael, one of the chief,
then Michael, one of the chief of the celestial princess,
Michael is the fighting angel in case nobody knows this,
came to help me, for I remain there with the kings of Persia.
So he was fighting just to get through to even answer the prayer.
And that's one of the things I would say to you.
You know, you may pray just like Daniel, but you don't know what's going on in the
heavenlies.
We fight not against flesh and bud, but blood, but against spiritual principalities.
You have to remember that.
Like, we are fighting against things we cannot see.
That's more real than what we can see.
And so when you haven't received the answer to your prayer, maybe you need to start praying differently.
Maybe you need to start, that's why having the gift of tongues is vitally important.
It's not optional.
It is vitally important that you actually have the gift of tongues because you will pray in ways that only you wouldn't know how to pray,
but the Holy Spirit knows how to pray for you
and on your behalf,
and he'll say things that you would never even know to do.
There's a boldness that comes when you have the gift of tongues.
And so you need to wage war in the heavenlies.
You don't sit back, relax, and kick back.
No, you fight.
We are warriors.
We're not wimps.
But you have to think about it.
A lot of times that's what's going on with people.
There actually, there's warfare.
spiritual warfare going on that they don't even know that's going on so they're just sitting back to
and learn their thumbs and you quit you never even you never see the victory because you give up
because you did nothing you were just waiting on god well i don't know go ahead girls no it's true i i i
it's cool about this church is that a lot of people operate in their gifts and so a lot of people have
the discerning of spirits and so they can see things that are happening around us and then
Once those, they can see something, then you, like, it's even more real that, like, you know that is, like as a Christian, but like, then you see, they, they confirm what you feel is off.
And if people actually could see the veil, like, pull back, I think people would be less annoyed at other human beings because they'd realize, like, okay.
Yeah.
That's, there's no way that's even like, like, I look at Caleb and I'm like, he had to be under some kind of oppression to be able to do that to his wife who was praying for her marriage.
two kids in the other room like it's so evil because we talk about this all the time there's people
that sin and they get it right or they just they fall into sin and they're like they whatever and I'm sure
there's enemy and stuff like that but then there's wicked and evil people oh yeah and what he did was
wicked and evil and so I like I just I think people but you even look at him and he's like a shell of a
person now like when I see him like it's sad to me like it's sad that he had everything going for him
and then it's now he's going to rot in jail like it just seems like such a
rest of his life. For the rest of his life. For what? Like, it's so, it's so hard. But you can't, like,
get mad at a person, really, when you know that there's principalities all around us and they were deceived.
And you could also be deceived. And so if you just focus on the wrong thing, flesh and blood all the
time, you're going to get deceived. And so it is. That, that, I think, is huge. If you can understand that.
I think you'll have more compassion for people. You will. Absolutely. You will. Yes. And you'll understand.
and maybe things aren't coming around because there's other stuff happening.
And asked Allison, I was like, what do you, what would you do or what should people do if they're praying for something and it's not coming to pass?
And she's like, wait.
I'm so simple.
I know.
Faith like a child.
It is.
And then she started to going in, like maybe like you need to pray differently and maybe there's something God's showing you and all these little things.
And so it for her was like, it was just simple.
Like you just wait on God because obviously it's going to come.
Like that was kind of her thought pattern.
And it's like, well, wait, but like, what if you wait too long?
And she's like, I don't know.
And I'm like, do have you ever had something happen immediately?
And she said, yeah.
And I'm like, what's the difference?
She's like, I don't know.
And so, but she's not toiling.
Right.
No.
You know, there's no, like, tormenting spirit.
And a lot of times we have to, like, lay down our need to understand it all.
Yeah.
Literally.
Like, you literally have to surrender your right to have to understand.
If you want peace that, I always say this, if you want peace that surpasses all understanding,
then you have to give up your.
right to understand it all. Yes. And understand that when you surrender something to the Lord,
that he is working on your behalf. Amen. And I've seen like so many women, like, they're tormented
by having to understand why. Right. Right. And it keeps them stuck. And no peace. No peace.
Yeah. And then if you're so stuck, like, let's say like your blessings right here and you're so
stuck and focused on this thing right here. And God's like, right. Doesn't make sense to me. Turn your head.
I need to make it make sense to me. Yeah. I need a know why. Oh yeah. Toiling and toiling.
and toilet and God's like, just look to the left.
Like, just look over here.
Look this way. And we have to understand and that's not scriptural.
So again, going back to what you originally said, hope was like, are you doing the thing?
Like, biblical principles 101, are you doing these things first?
Like, are you praying with the right heart posture?
Oh, my gosh.
Or is everything about you and selfishly and if I had all this money I'd give to everybody.
Do you give to anybody now?
Are you sure?
Are you sure about that?
Like, you just had a friend that needed 10.
And you're like, yeah, maybe if I can somehow muster up 10 bucks.
Don't, don't be delusional.
Don't like, God's watching you.
He's trusting me with a little.
Be faithful with a little.
Yeah.
So true.
Mike drop.
So true, because you aren't going to get the much if you're not.
You're not.
And then you're delusional thinking that you would if you just had more, which is what
we're talking about.
Yeah.
It's not.
Right.
It's not because you're not faithful in the little.
It's just not going to happen.
Why would he give you more?
If you can't even handle.
the little bit that he's giving you.
We've seen the world give people more and they lose themselves.
Every lottery winner.
Yeah, we just watch that.
The curse of the lottery.
Literally.
They're like, if I could just, like, the $10,000 would change my life.
And then they get $10,000 and they blow it and still have debt.
You know?
And then it's, yeah.
It's crazy.
And then the lottery people, like millions and millions are the ones that live humbly
and actually probably were good with their money before, probably doing really
great now.
And so just don't be delusional.
Like just don't be delusional.
And be faithful in the little.
Absolutely 100%.
Yeah.
100%.
Delusion kills you.
Be honest with yourself and about the situations.
And if you are, watch out.
Because you feel like I knock down doors.
Oh, 100%.
Yeah.
Like, guy's a limit.
Yeah.
It's crazy.
All righty.
We will see you on Friday.
We're going to keep this up.
Okay.
Because we have more.
But like people always want to know.
How do I, like, for me, I'm like, how do I get what I want to believe in?
It seems so far often in the distance.
And people are always preaching it.
Like, again, your ship is coming in.
You can expect this, but nobody ever talks about what that takes in order to get there.
Yeah.
And people just keep hoping and praying and believing, but you're not doing the very things.
Like, again, it's not toiling.
It's changing your mindset.
and knowing your foundation of faith
and what you're believing for
and why you're standing on it.
And that's what you're entitled to.
And what you're entitled to.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You don't believe it because somebody told you it.
You believe it because the word says it.
And you believe it.
And that's it.
That's it.
Amen.
That's it.
So thank you for joining us.
We will see you on Friday.
Bye.
