Every minute, the terror gets closer.
Cooper, you've got to help me out.
Every second, the tension gets deadlier.
It's all right, don't shoot, don't shoot.
Every moment could be your last.
George Romero's all new Night of the Living Dead.
Redid R.
Starts Friday, October 19th at Select Theatres.
What's up, everybody?
Welcome back to another episode of Frightful Reflections.
I'm your host Brian with me as always
as my brother, Nez. What's up, man?
Yo, what's up, everyone?
This is also going to be
a part of E-society's
31 Days of Horror.
So,
even if you listen to this one and you're
listening to all that other stuff
and you don't want to listen to it twice, you can
just download it for me.
And then you guys could
help out with the
cause. But, yeah,
this was
to start off the spooky season
here for the horror returns
network with frightful reflections
we're dead,
neither living dead, 1990.
I have not watched this one in a while.
I don't, I have the
Blu-ray edition.
I think it's umbrella.
I don't know if this is the rated our version or the quote unquote unrated one.
I don't know.
I wouldn't even know what the difference is anyway.
But 9 the Living Dead, 1990, directed by the great Tom Savini,
screenplayed by George A. Romero and John Russo.
It came out October 19th of 1990.
and for reasons unknown, the recently deceased are rising from the grave as flesh-ungry zombies.
fleeing from the undead horde, a small group of survivors, including Barbara, Ben, and Harry, sequester themselves in a remote farmhouse.
With the zombies outside the house multiplying, tensions flare as the group argues over the best way to escape their increasingly,
dire situation before they are overrun
completely. All right.
I was Google.
See what IMDBSC.
When the unburied dead, when the unburied dead
returned to life and seek human victims,
seven refugees shelter in a house in Pennsylvania
court in a Pennsylvania
countryside.
All right. This stars
the great Tony.
Todd.
Rest in peace.
The beautiful
Patricia Tallman,
Tom Tolls,
also
rest in peace.
McKee Anderson,
McKee, yeah, McKee Anderson,
a William Butler,
a Katie Fenneran,
the great Bill
Mosley,
Heather Manzer,
I believe she played
the young daughter,
and a ton of other people in this.
Savini, he didn't make a cameo in this, did he?
I can't remember.
No, I'm thinking of...
Dawn of the Dead.
Yeah, Zach Snyder's Dawn of the Dead.
But Brian, when was the first time you seen Thompson's Night of the Living Dead?
This came out in 1990, so I was like 10.
or 11 years old, this was always on cable.
I've seen this about a hundred times.
And I love it just as much as the original one.
Tom Savini did an awesome job directing and doing the effects.
And you got an all-star cast,
all-star horror, you know, who's who and horror in here.
And, yeah, I originally brought it to the horror returns guys,
for a review.
I'm the only one that liked it.
But...
What?
Yeah.
What kind of horror podcast?
Sometimes I question those guys.
Oh, man.
I first seen this the weekend it came out.
It was me, my buddy Gav and his girlfriend.
We were initially said, let's go see this.
but when we got to the theater,
my buddy's girlfriend was like,
it's a horror movie, I don't want to see that.
And my buddy was like,
she wanted to go see something else.
I said, you know what?
You guys go see that?
I'm going to go see this.
I'm like, all right, cool.
So I walk in, nobody in there.
Me, maybe five other people, all dudes.
No, there was one lady sitting there.
At 1990, I was,
19 no
I think I was 19 I think
at time
so
I remember sitting there watching it
and like okay this is
a new version of this tale
we grew up with
and I remember when it was over
I was kind of like
okay
the ending completely different
so I was like
I was like, oh, well, Ben isn't the hero in this one.
So, okay.
So it took me, that first initial watch, I just saw it the one time and just kind of rubbed me the wrong way because they changed it.
And I was like, all right.
So once it came out, once it came out on VHS, my buddy bought it because he had never seen it.
I said, why did you buy it?
He goes, I don't know.
It was a used one.
So, you know, back in the blockbuster days when they had like a billion of copies of one movie, he just ended up buying it.
So we sat there and I watched it for the second time and I enjoyed it.
I thought it was a good movie.
I was like, yeah, I think because I knew what was going to happen.
So I was like, all right, cool, man.
I'm with this one.
So throughout the years.
I was like
watched it every time it came on
like up all night
or one of those channels
or just late night
and I remember once it hit
cable, I think it was HBO
Showtime, one of them.
I remember me and Mike watched it one time
at his house.
But throughout the years
watching it over and over, I love this film.
I think it's awesome.
I thought Tom Zavini did an amazing job
to have the cast
that he had.
This was,
before Candyman.
So I knew
Tony Todd because of other things he had popped
up in. This was before he became
one of the horror
icons. So, but
I mean, I really enjoy this film.
I thought Patricia Talman was
really good as Barbara.
Didn't not realize
that was Bill Mosley,
her brother, Johnny, until
years later
when
I became a
Mosley fan.
Yeah, he looks just like the original Johnny.
Yeah.
So, but yeah, man, overall, man, this movie's awesome.
I love it.
So, how we're going to run through it for you guys.
So let me get it situated.
But I'm watching this on, like I said, the Blu-ray.
So I'm not sure which version it is.
so but
all righty
ready
yeah
hold on
man what happened
okay
one two
three
column of your pictures
might give you a little
sound though
this one
I've done the last few
I was just watching
it on my computer
and only I can hear the sound
but I like this beginning
black and white
was it black and white
beginning with the moon's coming up
yeah
all right
I don't know who did the score
and filmed by Tom Savini
that's what was the shocker for me
this was his
first directing
right
I believe so
did he also do special effects
or was that his crew or did they get someone else
let me
let me pull it out
all right
it was
Bill Bosley said a lot more
than just the regular
Johnny for the original one
Mm-hmm
Bill Bosley too
This was before he's the
horror icon
He's been in a ton of things
William Butler
He was in
Texas
Chainsaw Masked 3
That and
Friday of 13th
Part 7
The New Blood
Was it the New Blood?
Was that what it was called?
With the
The girl with
Telekinetic Powers
He was
With Bernie?
Yeah
I think so
He was one of the
He was the one that got
maybe they were going to throw a birthday party for one of the guy's brothers.
He was the brother because he was the one that got killed.
Oh, yeah.
That Tina kept seeing.
Yeah, this is Tom Savini's directorial debut.
Well, he did a good job for his first time out as a director.
Because I remember watching some stuff and he thought he was just,
going to do the makeup
if I remember right
but Romero's like no man I want you
to direct it he goes I already directed this
movie well I want someone's
with a fresh eye
so
I assume they were
okay with the
changing of the ending
I mean Romero was one of
the producers
so
bashing around in the Mercedes
yeah I don't know if it was
just Tom Savini
and says the special effects team
so it might have been his team
yeah he looked just like Johnny
speaking of uh let me dad shout out to
uh bead bead jimmon
uh I haven't listened to it yet but he interviewed
the original Barbara
oh that's what's out
yeah man
how'd you do that bead
got them
I guess
I guess when you're from
somewhere else
another part of the world
see this was
different right here too
with that old man staggering up
no
mother
was he a zombie or was he just
I think he was just injured
it looked like you got a hit
on the head
Yeah.
I got the zombie.
Is this the
child murderer?
Did you see that version?
No.
When they added all kinds of
extra scenes to the original one?
No, I didn't see that.
It's terrible.
In the original film,
the first zombie we see,
they did like a backstory for him.
Like he murdered some kids
or something.
And these guys were
supposed to bury him.
But
they were
looking, I don't know why his coffin was open.
Oh, damn.
They were looking at him and they said, it looks like he's alive.
And then he woke up.
And that's how he
got up and was walking around.
I think it's on YouTube,
man. Check it out. It's
stupid.
But, uh,
that was a good effect of Bill Mosley
slamming his head onto the
one of the gravestones
Yeah it looked like they
Had Bill do that for real
Yeah
This part
Well I assume this was the same
Original cemetery
They used the original one
This guy must have been freshly
Yeah
Zombie ass
Yeah
Glad that's all we see
I don't know.
Sorry, everyone.
I got to keep pausing to blow my nose.
Or not pausing, mute the blow of my nose.
See, I like this.
It's still keeping with the original.
Yeah.
Zombies pick up and use things.
They were still kind of smart.
Yeah.
They weren't all just walking dead stupid.
I like that two of them attacked the car.
That's why she didn't have the keys.
She hit the brakes.
Yeah, it would have stopped.
It might have slid because she's on the grass,
but this must have been before the side airbags.
I think it would still, if there was airbags in these Mercedes back then,
let's say 89 when they filmed this.
when you get a hit from the back
I think it would still pop out
but maybe not these
models whatever year it is
based on the original screenplay
John Russo and George A. Romero
I like
this version of Barbara
because she wasn't
like how she wasn't the original
Yeah, whiny and just
Canatonic the whole movie
It didn't really know
She like just
Was just there
Once abandoned everyone else
Came in
Yeah, Patricia did an awesome job
She's
hysterical and frightened
In the beginning
And turns into a complete badass
By the end
Yeah
I met her at
Comic Con one year
and
Is she a stunt woman?
Yeah
I was just talking to her about this
but she was cool
I mean
she answered all my questions
if I knew she was there
I would have brought my
DVD and my Blu-ray
to have her sign it
has never been that
Texas Framer
that I can remember
Yes she has
That must have been
year I didn't go.
Yeah, they did
I think for Texas
Chances I asked at 3.
That was
a year I didn't go.
Yeah, okay, I can
picture her.
I think that was a year
Sean Cunningham was there.
Yeah.
He's supposed to be
in
an economy I'm going to.
I think
Days of the Dead.
You can ask him about a...
What's that with the rumors of Braun Stromen being cast as Jason Warhees?
What?
That's a giant Jason Warhees.
We don't need... Leatherface all right, but now...
Stop making...
I guess he said he's willing to shave his beard off and everything.
Make another C-No Evil 3 and let him be...
uh
cane's
brother or cousin
or something
I don't know
I like that
it pretty much
went along
with the original
story
except for
the changes
I don't know
how did this
hand fall off
somebody push it
like somebody was
like somebody was
inching it
oh that's
what's his name's
uncle
oh
lucky she moved
that big
fat guy
with her
smashed her.
Is this the nephew?
I think so.
I want to know what, I still want to know
what exactly started
all this.
They hinted around as a satellite
or something blew up in the atmosphere, the
original one. This is
always cool. I like
this part right here.
Tony, but take care of this real quick.
Yep.
Move, bitch.
He looks cool when he's on
the grass crawled, he's all twisted and tweaked.
Yeah.
Come pull it up.
Smoking a cigarette.
You got any shotguns in there?
Talk to me, girl.
What was the original Ben's name?
Uh, someone yelling it.
Dwayne Jones.
Yeah.
Dwayne Jones and the original
Barbara was Judith O'Day.
Yeah.
Leave the doors wide open.
They all just come walking in.
And the original, none got in the house until they all come breaking in.
You got to move his legs, Tony.
That other guy.
Yeah, the other dude was still laying around.
Watch out.
I like when she's hitting him.
You can say it's a dummy.
Yeah.
with a crowbar
ooh
she killed that dummy
it even sounded like it when she was hitting it
oh the window's broken like it still
crawl in
I know all I see is Candyman
but
did you watch that last final destination
yeah it was
it was a nice goodbye
but it was sad to see
it looked like that.
Yeah.
And then him saying that line
that, yeah, live your life and all that.
They said that was
something. He just had lived. He just said it.
And they kept it in.
I met him once. He was cool.
Me and Mike met him.
He was even Venom. Was it
the video game or one of the animated?
I think the video
game, the Spider-Man one,
the Miles Morales. Yeah.
I always thought about
this even after I saw the original one
I was like what if this happened what
am I going to do well then I was single
and no kids and
it's easier to fend for yourself
but now I don't know
I do my best
yeah me and my daughter
we've been binging a rewatch for me
but first time for her the walking dead
we've been asking each other
a lot of questions
I don't even
I think I did
tap out after
I didn't see the last two seasons.
I didn't even finish
Fear of the Walking Dead.
Yeah, we just, before
we got on here to record this,
we just finished season seven.
She wanted to quit after Glenn.
She was done.
Yeah, look at it right here.
It's all twisted.
Sparta kick.
I like this version of him,
because he
was starting to feel bad
for killing him.
He did such a good job.
I think they killed more
zombies than this
than they did in the original.
Except for those
Yahoo's at the end
when they had them with big piles.
Oh,
geez.
God damn you.
Robar just stabbed him
in the back of the head.
Damn, he was such a good actor.
There is a good actor.
I hate talking to people in the past tense.
Yeah.
He's done so much, too.
And the first time I kind of met him
at Comic Con. He was walking by.
And we went, Candyman.
He just went, hey, smile and waved
at me and my friends.
He came walking out of this restaurant
in the hotel.
Either nobody knew who he was,
or they just didn't care.
but I had the feeling no one knew who he was
because he just walked through the lobby
like it was nothing.
So I was like, man,
the icon.
Like dead or not, man.
It could be heavy.
Try to move this big dude.
Breach.
He was probably riding on fumes.
She did good.
I mean, I like how she just was
all,
like quiet in the beginning,
but starts to kick in.
Yeah, she has that switch in the middle.
Yeah.
To where she's like, I'm fed up.
I'm gonna fight.
We're about to get introduced
to one of my least favorite characters
of the movie, Judy Rose.
That girl stayed screaming
the whole movie.
What's up?
I'm gonna watch. It's about to die.
I like the score with this.
It just made it eerie and dreading.
Yeah, that's true.
Hate spiders.
I would immediately try to cover that up.
Same as always.
Everybody's talking like they know what's going on.
They don't get any of shit.
Sounds familiar.
Yep.
Escape prisoners on the loose from up in Henness.
Escape.
prisoners.
That guy must not
been outside.
It's hitting the head
with the fire poker.
You can go see if there's no food
or anything? Water.
I'm sure the water's
might be good
what comes out of the faucet.
I don't know what it is. In my house, the water that comes out of the
kitchen sink tastes funny.
but the water of the bathroom tastes fine.
But my wife, she just uses the filtered water, the refrigerator.
Yeah.
You know what they're going to do with them?
10, 20 of them in the back of this panel talk.
They opened the door and the other ocean.
That's a lot of escape prisoners.
I know.
Even dragging this dude would be heavy.
I'd keep a fire poker.
yeah we can do that at least from somewhat of a distance let me just threw that fool at first fool like it was nothing
he did he just threw him off the porch but this big guy oh she got a fire poker bag still got to cover that window out
when i hit the mute button do you hear that or anything all right i wasn't sure
Makes a little beep sound.
I thought that was a beer that he had.
Wouldn't blame him.
So those are the type of matches you need to have.
Strike Anywhere matches.
Yeah, but are they really strike anywhere?
Sometimes, some of them are.
Not all of them.
My dad always said,
no matter where you are, make sure you have some.
Just in case.
Well, he said stuff like that to us
I would think of these type of things.
Some kind of disaster was happening.
Not thinking about the real disaster.
I'm thinking about zombie apocalypse
and that type of stuff.
See, she's at least like interested in listening.
She's the ones that just sitting there like the original Barbara.
Yeah, zoned out.
Yeah.
I don't know what's going on.
But I sure.
hell know that it ain't no prison break.
It ain't no kind of chemical that I ever heard about
to make a dead man walk.
I don't know. Do you see Resident Evil?
Yeah.
Speaking of that, did you saw a walk
from the Rackham City, right?
Yeah.
All right.
We're going to do that one, everyone.
I love that movie.
I know a lot of people who hated him.
I thought it was awesome.
You still have stars?
Yeah.
It's a lot better than the previous.
sequels
those
I own them all
I can enjoy them
for what they are
but it wasn't
it wasn't Resident Evil
it started off
kind of sort of
I mean
don't get me wrong
I got the box set too
doesn't take long
for the world
to fall of fine
but them last couple
were not good
I don't even remember
the last
I remember is the one that was in 3D
when they were on the roof and all those
zombies went falling off.
Is that the one they brought your girl back?
If it wasn't that one,
it was the one after.
I don't remember.
I think they're all streaming on stars.
All of them.
We'll tackle those eventually.
I was about to say, we about to go down that rabbit hole?
No, not this year.
Maybe we'll spring.
wrinkle them out throughout the year.
I mean, blood that's been
like that for a while
should be
all dark.
I see blood and all that
in movies, but the most I've seen
wasn't my grandpa
that got kicked in the face by
oh damn, I forgot
fool blasted himself
with a shotgun.
Oh, we see where the hand came from.
I think that fat guy
was chewing at him and ate his
off.
Then
shoved it over the
rail.
I guess he must have kicked it over.
But
anyway, my grandpa got kicked
in the face by his horse.
There's nothing. It's nothing. It's on it.
And I remember
we didn't see it. My grandma
goes, something happened to your grandpa?
We all looked outside and he was
leaning against the, his
head, his arms against the
corral.
And we all ran over there.
And dude, it was like a faucet, just pouring onto the ground.
And I remember we went over there.
We kind of got the truck and put something over his face.
And then they took him to town, to the doctor.
I mean, the hospital's good 45 minutes away.
So they had to haul ass to town.
And we went back over to the carous.
and that pool of blood
it was like
like jello
they said it was hard
I never seen it like that
who the hell is us
I'm in or sir that's me
this is Harry Cooper
that's his wife calling down the cellar
Mr. Cooper
my woman's down the two
that's Judy Rose Larson
I don't know keep Judy Rose downstairs
and if he asks who the hell
you are
I like them in, um, blood in blood in blood out.
Red, right?
Was it writer?
Red rider?
Yeah.
Red rider, your mouth, your mouth.
Yeah.
You could have used some help.
Maybe you can see through walls, Mr. Ben.
I can't.
We heard some banging around up here.
It could have been those things for all we could tell.
You just heard some banging around as all.
No, no.
That ain't right.
We heard the girl calling out.
He seemed all wimpy in this version.
Yeah.
The other guy in the original seemed a little more tougher.
Steelers, boo.
That out to Big Jesse,
aka the blind Frankenstein.
He's a Steelers fan.
Do you watch the Chorus Hallowed Grounds?
Sean Clark's channel on YouTube.
No.
Watch the
Neither Living Dead one, the original.
They go to the cemetery
and the area where it was filmed.
And then they do a, I guess
his buddies knew somebody
in the building
where they filmed
Dawn of the Dead.
Uh-huh.
The roof
top the beginning of it when they're
fighting those guys in that apartment building
they go to that place
and I guess they filmed
the basement
in that building
for the original night of the living dead
that basement wasn't
in the house they were using
well they're taking a hell
a lot more than five miles before we find any real
hell
is the gas pump out on the skin
well they're coming back from a wedding
Cooper
with tucks
they look like
it because all three of them
are dressed out
besides
you might never
got to figure out
what we're doing
person
and beers he drinking
this is bullshit
can't tell
he definitely doesn't look
like he's from the area
uh
sure
that's a smart move
what do you mean
I'm not
sound like New York or Jersey
I'm
I'm not going down there
I know with all the options
And Buddha
I mean you the right to decide for the rest of us
I'm not deciding to you anybody
He was never a good guy in anything
I'm gonna that sell a dog
Nobody's up
Uh
House of thousands of corpses
Oh that's right he was the
I mean he was in it for like 10 minutes
I've only been around you a minute
I didn't like him in
Henry
Portrait of a serial killer
Oh, the best friend?
Yeah.
Tried to rape his own sister.
What the hell is going on in that movie?
Like I said, Jimmy Rose and I,
he wasn't here more than 10 minutes.
And then Mr. Cooper, he'd come banging on you.
He rose.
You want to do a drinking game,
drink every time she says Tommy.
I call for help, man.
So Uncle Reed,
you come walking out of the bedroom.
He was dead a minute before.
Swear to God, he was not dead.
He couldn't have been.
He was an escape prisoner.
Made a mistake, that's all.
Uncle Regia, he went after my cousin's Satchew.
Because, I mean, again, I want to know, but then I don't want to know what caused it all.
If it was the radiation from that satellite blowing up,
it just brought the dead back to life.
But all those ones in Dawn of the Dead,
The ones that didn't look like they had any kind of damage to them.
I understood the ones that were kind of chewed up and everything.
They were walking around, but everyone else had just looked normal.
The original Romero one?
Yeah, the original one.
And they looked all blue?
Yeah.
How did they all die?
Or did it just whatever came down on top of them?
Uh-oh.
here they come.
They sell it quick.
That cell is a death trap.
Those things don't have much strength.
But to get enough of them together,
they may be able to break through the door.
They'd be cornered down there.
No way out.
We'd do better fighting them off there
with still some way to escape.
A way out is a way in.
The window.
Maybe we can board them up.
There's no time.
Those things are,
there's only three of a man.
I've handled more than that by myself.
Without these two guns.
I'm worried about more of them coming.
I'd just have everyone go upstairs and then break the staircase up.
George, Bichmore,
you want to go to go to.
That was my plan at my old house.
Our house was up high.
It was two stories.
Or there wasn't,
there was an apartment type downstairs.
And we lived in the top part of the house.
We were kind of up high from the street.
My idea was just to smash the stairs.
stairs so no one can come up.
And then the basement
stairs crush those
so no one can reach
us. That was
my plan.
There was a big giant tree in front of our house.
They pretty much right up against
the balcony or
the porch.
I figured we could rig something
up to where if we needed to go down,
we can climb down that tree.
the branches were up high
they weren't like
level where you can grab them
so it would have been
that would have been our way
up and down to get in the house
and if need be we could go in the attic
yeah they must
just came from some kind of wedding or dinner party
or something
there must be beer downstairs
because he didn't
or did he go upstairs and just open the refrigerator?
I think he grabbed a six-pack.
They've got two.
They might have a hundred guns for all I know,
but it doesn't matter because it's safer down here.
You don't waste that fear.
No.
No.
ain't safe down there.
You got nowhere to run.
And there's no way to come in here.
I'm not sure about Pennsylvania, but...
I wonder if there's tornadoes and all that there.
Anyone from Pennsylvania area,
let me let us know.
I text Jesse, but he's three hours ahead of us.
Well, four for you.
He's probably...
just by his sleep
a bunch of yo-yo's.
The last of the big stuff,
huh?
Not going to do it.
Hey, Tom, give me a hand.
Judy Rose.
Any minute, she's going to start screaming.
That's the kind of rifle I want.
Those table legs came off
way too easy.
Yeah.
Oh, my.
a Winchester. I like those
those rifles.
I hurry and do that other
window. Yeah, they must be
walking hell slow. Those are the ones that they saw
like 20 minutes ago.
You wouldn't even have to run.
You should have did that earlier.
Yeah, when they were only like a couple.
The guns.
You're careful. We can get away.
You told me to fight.
I'm fighting.
Here's the switch.
Yep.
Not upstairs or down.
You're sweet.
I think she wasn't just sitting on the couch.
All catatonic.
We're going to figure out a way to get to that gas and we'll be gone.
And you're doing fine.
I'm doing fine.
We're all doing just fine.
Are you, Ben?
Like you said, we've got to be careful.
Yeah, he looks.
is all stressing out.
Crazy little bites.
I'll just sit there and talk to her.
Take a drink.
Yeah.
With a hurry, this type of stuff,
my dad always gets mad.
He's a carpenter.
He's like,
you don't nail nails like that.
I'm like, dad calm down.
They barely.
had those nails in.
Maybe your dad's right.
I always wanted to play
a zombie in a movie.
Oh.
Stronger than
zombie.
I was putting them doors up any way they want.
Yeah.
Not even straight.
Luckily they had all these nails.
Always.
Yeah.
I think the best bet
is.
If you go in somewhere and they don't know you're there,
just be quiet.
Yeah.
Let me if I go upstairs and cover.
Was that his cousin or his uncle?
His cousin.
You don't want to see that.
Drag him and throw him off the window.
Yeah, like you threw the other one off the porch.
Yeah.
So that's where she gears out.
So she changes her shirt and...
Look.
Like she's hammering the nails.
I like this part
We can do something
I mean
I'm sure the edges of it
yeah I don't think the zombies are punching
through the door like that
no old school TV
move on bunny ears around
that's not good
stations in Zillion local
it's only about 20 austin movies
and
every now and then on TV
this is when they have the
this is just a test
when the earthquake
happened down the Bay Area in
89
I did not see any of those things
come across the TV at all
anytime
because the earthquake hit
then the power went out
but in our area
the power came back on
a few minutes after
the quake
and not one of those little emergency things
came across to tell you what to do.
Yeah, when we had our earthquake
up here, I didn't hear not one
emergency broadcast.
It took a minute for
the stations that come back on.
But once they came back on, yeah, none of that happened.
They just went straight to helicopter shots
of all the...
damage that happened.
What were you to then,
Gary? Will you open the door
then?
Cooper?
Like this part.
Shoot the lock.
Coup on the shop on out there.
You open the store, you fuck a asswell.
I'm going to shit.
What do you open a talk show?
I'm in the green,
go by.
And I'm coming through.
We're talking to happen.
Oh.
Damn.
Different times, everyone.
Oh, no, what's her name?
Has a Winchester now.
I thought he had the Winchester.
Barbara has it now.
Yeah, shotgun.
Bleak, blow that door handle.
That doorknob off, easy.
If that basement didn't lead anywhere,
why was there a thing there to block the door?
Oh.
You can't get to sit up here.
You want to be able to run downstairs.
Yeah, Uncle Reed was doing stuff down there.
Yes.
Maybe his still was down there.
Making his shine.
Judy Rose is about to start yelling.
Yeah.
I like this, too.
Isn't she just a girlfriend?
Yeah.
That's a bitch.
Sorry, girl.
You take that door.
You know what Cooper says here?
You want that one?
went to.
Oh, he got shot in the original one.
The
when him and Ben were fighting.
Yeah.
Cooper, he got shot in the gut.
Now she's gearing up. I put these pants
on that I found that's going to fit.
Yeah. Well, he's got a belt.
You can just tighten it.
I'll be back for that one.
Yep. So put it
on the floor.
You have to get help.
We have to get a lot.
a doctor for Sarah.
You're going to try.
Since you ain't doing nothing,
then you want to start looking for those keys.
He didn't look at all.
They were clear as day on there,
labeled and all.
I'm looking for.
They're all looking for the same thing.
Oh.
I don't know.
That irony board ain't going to do much.
That's when I'm saying who does nail the stuff out,
however.
Yeah, there's all these little gaps in there.
I don't think.
I think I have anything in here to board up my windows if I had to.
I better nail that up.
Oh, look in the wrong place.
It's downstairs.
You can't let go.
How are you going to nail in the nails?
I had just one behind that door.
Shoot him.
Harry, shoot him.
Hit him in the head with something.
Ooh.
Rudy Rose has to go.
Yep, throw her outside.
They're dead, but they're coming right for us.
It's impossible.
It just can't be.
You can throw them up and the window.
You could throw them by yourself, Ben.
You toss the bodies.
Whoa.
What's the guy's...
Ooh.
Yeah.
I know you're trying to prove a point,
but you're wasting bullets.
Yeah.
You're losing it, girl.
They said they found that guy.
I like this line right here.
I lost a long time ago, and I do not plan on losing anything else.
you can talk to me about losing it
when you stop screaming at each other
like a bunch of two-year-old
you should have ended that with bitch
original Barbara was not saying
anything like that at all
hell no she was just sitting on the couch
that skinny one that came to the window
they said he was a cab driver
and they liked the way it looks
hey you want to be in this movie
all right
it would be best to put screws
if I had a power drill,
nails, man.
You just push those right out.
Only a couple.
They can make it around them.
Yeah, I would have left a while ago.
She's putting in the bullets the wrong way?
You're not supposed to pay attention to that.
I don't think you put it in head first.
It rearranged itself.
is that door yeah
I'll say that don't door go outside
all they did was board up the window
you better put cross boards all the way across
to keep it shed
and put the boards laying right there
one of the top one of the bottom
and one in the middle
I don't like the way they just said
place it any away
and then just start nailing it in the wall
yeah i mean i guess we're supposed to take it as they're like in a rush
panicking
i here's the tv upstairs
on that trans like state seems to uh
characterize the assailants
clearly a behavior of disorder but what could have caused
a widespread a behavior disorder
right
speculation on everything from the ozone layer and chemical weapons to
voodoo mysticism and organisms from space
biologists in stocks in California have released reports
oh speaking of space have you seen that movie undead
uh
spoiler alert yeah it it started from somebody from space
turned into zombies
why is news coming out of Stockton, California?
I go all the way to kill a Cali to get your news.
A bacteria or a virus that has a mind-altering effect on its victims.
So how such a germ could have been delivered so quickly and over such a vast area, that's remained a mystery.
It's going wrong.
The religious people.
Well, if the rapture happened last month, we got left behind.
Did you see those movies?
The Kirk Cameron ones?
Yeah.
No.
I only seen the first one.
I didn't even know it was a religious movie, but all you should watch this movie, it's good.
I think I've seen part of the Nick Cage remake.
Kirk Cameron went crazy.
Yeah, I can't say I agree with a lot of things he says.
Yeah.
Just break the TV.
Yeah, see, this barbara's thinking.
Look at Judy Rose doing something out of the screaming.
I just got a fresh ponytail
Oh
Oh, I was a guy from
Cemetery
Oh yeah
Five miles
We got that kid
Purrish kid
He leave them here
We'll bring back help
Better make some cutting down move
We're drawing a crowd here
And why they got pocket full of money
In the middle of no will
He was
Remodeling his house
That keeps some cash on him
I like she just assumed
Yeah, because the other one, the gas one was labeled gas.
I guess I assumed he keep the gas pump keys with his house and truck keys.
I would.
You wouldn't keep them on a separate key?
No, if they'd be on my, no, yeah.
If anything, at least keep them on a key rack by the,
the door, not in the basement.
You can't go out without the guns.
They have time, stuff.
Now, something happens.
I want that right one here.
I don't want to need locked doors in between me and this guy.
Crying out loud.
Damn.
The only way I'm going out there is with you and that rifle
keep in the big strength.
Now, let's go.
It's you and me.
No, Jim, let's you stay in here.
But somebody's going to drive.
Somebody's got to do the gases.
Somebody's got to write shotgun.
That means three of us goes.
out. Tommy, tell him I know how to drive.
I can do it, Tommy.
He's got trucks. She's been driving
since she was little.
I'm about to stand. I'm sure everybody
in there knows how to drive.
I got shells in my pocket.
Yeah, all my cousins
learned how to drive way before
they were
legal.
Out in the res,
if you can reach the pedals,
you could drive.
They're just wasting bullets
shooting like that.
I'm going to shank this guy
two old-timers back there
kids got
kids got marshmallows out of these out
I'll eat them all eat them all
boot to the face
just light them on fire
shoot them
you tossed that one
shut the door
get back in the house
you done flooded that engine
well that was the one
they got out burnt up
they just leaving
weak
just threw him
waste of gas go back
just run
yeah they didn't drive that far off
uh-uh
this is the dumbest move ever
yeah
he can run up
there you go
good idea
oh damn
toasted
some judy rose quick
I mean he could have
use his gun handle
and busted the lock
they're out in the middle of nowhere
what do you need to lock his pump for
local boys stealing gas
or something I don't know
dirt bike kids
look his back hand right there
what's
What's little?
Right now
I want you
get there
fellow
where it's safe
but
maybe
they're
into the
cell
and now
don't
eat
what's
little girl's
name
uh
Sarah
yeah
he's just
firing
that gun
she's not
aiming
if she comes
yeah
she's dead
I
ain't just
gonna let her
bite me
I like that
call
very
yeah
yeah
puts a
me doing nothing.
That was a nice take down.
He cuts the power.
Uh-oh.
Uh-oh.
Just waste some bullets.
Could have help?
Is that how you load the gun?
I don't know.
I don't think you would have put them in
with the head first.
How does it flip around in there?
Uh-oh.
Here comes Sarah.
Oh.
That gun didn't have any kind of
kick. Shoot them.
Yeah.
Ah.
You got that little snub nose.
Does he even know if his wife's dead or not?
I don't think so.
I just assume she's dead if his daughter came up.
You're a hiding addict.
I've got two bullet and gun holes in.
They just come pouring in now.
Yeah, your dad was right. They didn't nail those up too good.
No, they're just pushing it. It's not like they're pounding
on it and they just push the door, pushed it open.
So I need screws
that kind of hold it in.
The iron and board didn't stay.
Come on.
Ben, you can't do nothing, man.
They all came in hella fast.
She was right.
So you just walk right past them all.
At least they're eating cooked food.
uh chanel and down down what was his name Tommy Tommy and Judy Rose yeah
this part why she got a baby dog I don't know unless she was gonna lose it right here
dude yeah these are ones you can at least have a running chance to get away from
them yeah those boards are in the hell no one that keep nobody out
That's right.
The wife's still down there.
Not anymore.
He should just hit her in the head with something.
He tired.
Yeah.
Surprise he's still standing.
You got a couple of bulls and, yeah.
Guys eat worms.
He must have been fast.
How the hell he catch that mouse?
I like the zombie in the back's reaction.
You got to share.
What's this guy doing?
With the hand.
yeah these uh these extras must not know what to do
all in the house now
ben trapped down in the basement
old school radio
I had one like that
a little smaller but
little transistor
you ever had the ones that wind up
no
those are good to keep for emergencies
no
one is it a wind up flashlights but don't
doesn't stay
lit up for a while
all that fighting
only broke one cigarette
everybody in theater
went
he buys the gas pump key
he wasted that cigarette
mom Barbara's still walking
she don't even know
where she's gone
luckily the sky's all lit up
which reminds me
the crazies
I was just when she finds
Johnny
Johnny's right there
That's running around
M16s
That's every day for them
That's a giant moon
Yeah
Daytime
Down the dead helicopter
All these Yahoo's
You got food trucks
And everything out there
Back there
Cooking a big pig
She must have been sleeping hard
I know
Wolf, probably tired
Damn
bikers
having a cage match
That guy's
Hardcore fighting with a beer in his hand
Ha ha ha ha
Are these things wrong
Someone gave her a jacket
One little gun belt
Yeah we got those
On ones hanging
From the tree
Still moving
Yeah they wouldn't understand
That was fun.
Stony beer, whatever that is.
And there's nine of them shooting at those zombies
hanging in the trees.
Well, they said it best in
Dawn of the Dead when they flew over
all these guys.
And Ken Farrears, like,
damn, these good old boys are just loving it.
Like, how does this smell?
They just throw dead bodies in a pile
dumping gas.
on them. Although
made it back to the house.
Chainsaw. That's a little cheap door. Look how flimsy
that is. They could have just busted it.
Didn't do the chainsaw.
I was all shocked right here.
Because Ben, he's a zombie now.
So is it like the Walking Dead?
Because he never got bit or anything.
I think if you just die, he'd come back.
So I assume it's airborne. It's in the air.
There may be more of them. I like this part.
Lou.
Cooper's still alive.
Came back.
Hell yeah.
Blasted him right in the head.
That was still weak in the original one.
Ben made it through the night.
And they just walked over the window.
Got shot.
That bar was just watching them.
Got that big bonfire.
all those bodies
and all those yokels
hooting and hollering
all right everyone
that's the movie yeah
just showing still shots now
Barbara's eyes and
some Yahoo's
dragging dead bodies to the fire
taking pictures
that's the old man
from the beginning
and that's a night of living dead
boys and girls
1990, I knew
this was going to happen, because it was on
YouTube premium.
That's when I was trying to find
something to watch at work today. That's why I
was like, oh, let's do this one.
At the end of each
month, they change up the movies.
So, I was like,
well, it's an old movie. It's Halloween's
coming. They won't get rid of it when I
clicked on it. You can buy a rent.
you bastard it was free
about an hour or so ago
but yeah everyone that is
1990s
Tom Savini's
Neither Living Dead
definitely
one of the better remakes
that's out there
I love this film

to really enjoy it but
