Of course, we guys heard us last episode. We said we'd come back for more. And it's happy, happy second Friday the 13th we've had this year so far. But it's not just me. Yep, it's not just me. Of course, you heard him. Brother Brian, man, what's up? What's up, man?

reboot whatever everyone always adds Freddy versus Jason and the 2009 is that one that one came out they add that in the timeline of movies yes it's in the franchise but I wouldn't put those

in the first 10 movie franchise because they got Yeah, it's like alternate universe. Yeah, they got the multiverse. So, well, the multiverse started with, uh, Jason goes to hell, man. The greatest. Uh, I was on TikTok today and, uh, some, some random thing I was going along and it said,

uh, should I watch all the Friday of 13th movies? Or should I skip some? Or then it said, uh, Which is the least, or which is your least favorite is how he wrote it. And I definitely, I said, all of them rock, watch, except for Jason goes the hell. And it always starts something. Oh, you don't know what you're talking about. Yeah, it's this, this and that.

And I'm like, did you read the question? Your, what you think is the worst one. I don't know. You got to watch it, though. It makes you appreciate that. other ones more. Yeah, I mean, I've seen it. I don't know how many times. I met the hell's his name? Something. Adam Marcus, I met him and I told him why I didn't like that movie, but he was super cool. Give it to me, man. Give it to me. Let me have. I've heard it before.

Let me, let me have it. So, I mean, that's what was fucking cool about him. It gave me like, all right, I'll give it a chance. I haven't watched it since I talked to him, but I'm just like, I don't know, the way it ruined it for me. And I just, once New Line took over, man, I was like, what the hell are you guys doing? I didn't get into it with, um, uh, Seanis Cunningham because I was just happy to meet him when I met him at Days of the Dead. And I didn't want to say, what were you thinking? Why did you want to get rid of the hockey mask? he's an older gentleman

I had to speak up a little louder I mean I'm sure we're all going to lose our hearing as we get older but I was just kissing his butt telling him how much I loved the original Friday of 13th so I didn't I didn't have the heart to go into it with him

why did you why did you want that because Adam Marcus he said Sean wanted it this way he wanted me to get rid of the hockey mask and got rid of more the hockey mask. Got rid of Jason completely.

But I don't know, man. Well, Brian and I will eventually get to that at some point. And the documentary. Yeah, but I just, that movie. I mean, of course, I don't know how many times. As much as I hate that film, I don't know how many times I've bought it. And the last time I bought it is because Adam Marcus was at Texas Frightmare.

And there is some good moments in the movie. I don't lie. Yeah, I mean, there's some awesome kills in it. I mean, my favorite being that lady that got hacked up in the tent from, I think it was like street sign or something. I don't remember it seen in a while, but the way she got stabbed and then just brought it up and sliced her and a half. I thought that was cool, but. I like the one, the one that owned the diner, that lady. It gets a jaw knocked in.

Yeah. And I did like those adjacent. the Hockey Masked hamburgers and Wilma from Buck Rogers Yeah I can't remember her name She's in it

And Jason does have a badass entrance When he finally comes back At the end of the movie And Kane Hodder's in it And with all his glory Without the mask

And his His mullet And he was one of the security guards But we don't see him get killed We just see his dead body later, but... Well, we knew he was going to get killed. What do you call? He ain't nothing but a big old pussy.

I was like, well, you're dead. Kane Hodder as well. You got to get a chance to meet him. He's a really, really cool. He'll answer anything. And he may seem scary and intimidating, but no, he's a good guy. But, all righty. Never hiking the snow.

When was the first time you've seen this? the day it came out I think we did this for 31 days we did a review sure we did but I don't I just remember watching it the day it came out and then you message me like did you watch it and I was like yeah and you were like let's do it

I don't have a dark red case, but when I met Vintagin DeSanti at the Halloween 45 in Pasadena, he was there. and I bought that one because I didn't have that cover. So, but, uh, yeah, never hiking the snow. And I know I have this one as well somewhere here.

I haven't seen this movie in a while, so I really don't remember. Never hike alone. I had seen like a billion times. I assume this guy's running for his life, or is he just out for a morning run?

Oh, that's a run for your life, run. Rapid breathing. Yeah. He's running for his life. He's hauling ass. And that was rough. Other than running through the snow and huffing and puffing and breathing that cold-ass air, I'm sure it's a lot colder on the east coast of Jersey. Well, this is where Crystal Lake is. Not sure exactly where they filmed this. I want to know, did they add that snow or was it snowing for real?

It doesn't look like it's snowing on him. Yeah. I'm sure that's a... And I notice the bushes weren't getting covered with snow. Yeah. He's beeping his... That must be a strong. one because I could be far away from my truck trying to beep it and nothing. Oh, there he is.

Uh-oh. It goes, Jason. He's got an arrow. He learned the archery at the camp. I was watching something, one of those survival things. They said, if someone's hunting you with a bow, it's best to stare at them instead of running because you don't see which way if it's coming. But I don't know how fast those things go, but I'm sure they go pretty fast.

And now he's a mechanic. He's just the keys, Jason. Yeah, he should just use the keys. Uh-oh. Walks back over to that guy. That thing must be hollow. the hatchet head and

yeah here he is sheriff Rick our chief what's he doing way out there he was supposed to mark because the guy's name that got killed Rick's talking to the other

deputy saying they got to go talk to that kid's mom trying to hide the evidence he knows how it works here yeah especially in a small town we've got to cover it all up

oh there's Tommy he's hiding in the cut for as much as Tommy has gone through I'm surprised he never just runs around with tons of weapons on him. Assault rifles, all that. I just never came back. Yeah, I would have left. I would have been living on the West Coast.

Yeah, I'd be moving on the beach somewhere. Uh-oh. Deputies throwing the assault on that bloody snow. See Jason lurking around in the back. Oh, no, that's Tommy. He was scratching something in the hood. Tommy's hell of fast. What he right?

Scratch Jason in the hood of that car. Well, that's a felony right there. You bump a police car at the felony. What's this kid's name? Mark? Yeah. He must be a photographer. Chief Rick. You have to tell her son's missing.

What do you say? The good news is we haven't found him. Yeah. Well, he knows he's dead. It was blood everywhere. Yeah, you can't tell the mom all that. Yeah. There's blood everywhere.

And I had my deputy out there covering it all up. Yeah, I must have went through this whole half the movie before I realized who he was, who Rick was. When did they say this took place? Was it like... Three months before the first one. So the snow melted. Did they not know the legends adjacent in this area? I always figured everybody didn't care

That they just thought it was story I know the old timers that were Around when that happened And Rick knew When it was a forest green Was that the name of the place? That place should be fenced off Oh shit

They just moved there not too long ago That's why why they don't know That should be the first thing you hear When you move there I know. Because what has been like, what, decades? Yeah. Of murders.

Yeah. He wants to dig around in Mark's room. I thought he was chief. He's got the sergeant stripes. I didn't think about that when they made this. Well, says he in the synopsis, it's sheriff. He was kind of young to be Mark's mom. Yeah.

She must have had him. And she was young. Younger. He found some kind of map. looks like it's the lake. He probably knew the legend. So he wanted to see it.

It's Jason. As I knew it was him. I guess. It's like they all know he's out there still and they just stay out of his area and he'll leave you alone. I mean, if he ain't going to leave his area. Yeah. I mean, if you guys are no out there,

man, just get up a posse. I'm sure there's all kinds of locals that I'm sure they all have guns just load up and go out there and look for them well not to bring up Friday again but

they brought the FBI that didn't work well it kind of did they blow them up but then his they didn't blow his heart up his slug monster his heart now she gets online

what does she looking up. Or is it no that's her son's computer. Looks like a picture they took yesterday. Well, get out there and go well, I guess it's dark. I was like, go out there and help look. Trying to get this lady

lost in the wood. Yeah, she looks what. It looks like brother and sister. Oh, there he is. Frozen solid dead. That looks pretty cool. Yeah. They did a great job with

the special effects. Yeah, good practical effects. Yeah. There's his mom's head. See, like, I mean, what do you do? Put it on ice? That thing should be a skull by now. So he did. He found the camp. So he knew the legend. Don't go looking for it, boys and girls.

There you go. I'm fucking around to find out. Yep. Not going to be happy with what you find. Like Dr. Zey said in the first plan of the apes, Taylor. Don't go looking. I had to do those movies eventually. I liked all those Planet the old school Planet Apes. I have not seen the sequel since I was a kid.

I have the whole box that to those. I always rewatch the first one, but I never rewatch the sequel. He's taking it back. There comes Jason. He's snapping pictures of them. He goes out of work of camera? Yeah. And just destroyed the evidence.

Boom. Start shooting. He teleported out of there. Ah. Ooh. Grabbed the shotgun from that guy and he, Jason pushed it towards his head. Blue his face off. So I had to step on the body cam.

So it's 2017. That's what it said. The year. And that's your movie. I was like, wee. The first time I watched this. I was like, fuck, it's over already? I think we get to,

do we get any more at the end? No, it was all credits and all our name on here. Let me see if I get. Fast forward. Let me see. I'm trying to look. Oh, yours would be.

Yeah, it's an hour and 12 minutes, almost an hour and 13 minutes. Because I remember like, oh, cool.

Yeah, we both watched it like that night it came out. And then when it ended, I was like, ah, I didn't realize how short it was. I was like, oh, fuck, man, I wanted more. But this movie's awesome. And I think that's it. It was just a trilogy, because I don't even remember how the second one ended. But, oh, man. Yeah, I guess we'll have to wait until we just do that one.

I haven't seen the second. I've never hike alone, too. Jeez. I know I watched it a couple times when it first came out. I guess that one came out like a year ago. That's what it says. Yeah. This one was 2020?

Which Friday of 13th I should watch. I've seen them all a billion times. But should I watch Jason Costale? I haven't seen that forever. Like none of those movies are streaming anymore. I mean, on Paramount, it was like all of them were streaming now. None of them are. I know it's hitting miss.
