2025 yeah last year was when you heard us and I don't even remember what movie it was I think it was the equalizer I think it was first one yeah I don't remember a long year everyone but yeah we're back Yep. Let everyone know what we're rocking tonight. We are going to talk about 1996 is The Substitute. This guy is dangerous. It was the toughest school in the city. Back on.

If I don't. And when she chose a sign. I wanted to stop all this violence. So did they. Clock set me up by now. Now he's taking her place. Good morning, class. Taking control.

I'm in charge of this class. I'm in charge of this class. Tom Berger, Ernie Hudson, the substitute, rated R, starts April 19 at theaters everywhere. Action thriller. Let's see. Come on, Google, where are you at? Jesus, Google. We've got another long one.

Inner City Miami school teacher Jane Hetzko gets her knee broken when she stands up at her school's gang leader. Juan Locke's. Her boyfriend mercenary combat specialist Jonathan Shale goes undercover as a substitute teacher to take down to punk. But soon discovers that Lachis is merely an underling for the real criminal mastermind, assembling the team from his last jungle raid led by his right-hand man Joey 6th. Shale declares war. Right.

Let's see. Why Locke has got to be a punk. IMDB is basically the same thing. A lengthy synopsis. But this stars Tom Beringer, Ernie Hudson, Mark Anthony, William Forsy, Raymond Cruz,

Nez when was the first time you seen the substitute Um had to have been cable I didn't I was living up here Wait

What month did this come out Um April so I was still down the Bay Area when this came out so because I moved up here in November 96 so but I saw the trailers

I said I want to go see this and I never made it out to the theater to see it so I had seen this I think my wife saw it first okay 96 Tico was 95 no 94 yeah renan had two kids uh by then or we had two kids so another late night of her holding babies and uh trying to get them to sleep and she watched uh this movie and she's oh you should watch this

movie it was good and i was like well who's in it and when she started talking about i went oh okay i know what you're talking about i never saw it so once it came on uh tv uh i i I watched it, but this one was good, man. I liked it. Tom Barringer, 90s Tom Barringer. His roles were starting to not drop, but I couldn't even remember anything else after this as far as him being the main star. He's been in a ton of things, but I don't remember. seeing him star in more films i'm looking at his substance uh the his filmography the only thing i

recognize he was it was a bit part in training day he was on in it for like a second though turbulence too the gingerbread man is that the one with um uh gingerbread man no no it's a american legal thriller he was a smoking aces two i didn't even know they did a smoking ais two sniper three there was a sniper two i didn't even know that i just thought there was just one sniper was that the one with um that marky mark or no I think it's something else sniper with Tom

Tom Berger was the star and had Billy Zane well sniper two sniper three sniper reloaded sniper legacy sniper ghost shooter sniper ultimate kill and sniper assassins

and oh sniper rogue mission sniper when the first one come out first one came out in 1993 so three years before this I don't I don't remember this

yeah major league he was big in that uh of course platoon I'm looking at his older stuff he was in the dog's war I've seen that movie but I don't remember him in it

I do remember him in the Sentinel but he was like at the very end and he might have had line but born on the 4th of July you know I've never seen that's not bad Oliver Stone's that it was yeah oh okay sniper 93 uh silver or sliver I remember that what the fucks her name Sharon Stone and um one of the ball ones yeah okay I remember last of the dog of course major league and major league two last of the dogman i remember that gingerbread man one was i

thinking oh i'm thinking a glimmer man um with uh khena yeah canaan and um is a segal i want to i want to say yeah but well he's still he's still doing it he's still out there acting so but who tom berringer oh that's like talking about sago i was like he retired something called plan b i don't know what that is uh okay damn he did another assassin five years ago i don't want to fall around that hole because we'll have to do all he's doing uh he's in the sequel to you're see that scott ackins movie uh one shot

um where it's like an action movie where it's like one continuous shot oh yeah i have seen that he's in the sequel called one more shot all right with uh scott ackins and michael jai white well he can't go wrong with those two but yeah that was when i saw it uh cable and i was very cool i liked it i thought it was pretty good and then all the sequels um i watched well i've seen i saw two on cable one night I was on substitute two

I just saw the title and then when I started watching it it was Treat Williams I was like wait where's a rest in peace yeah but I mean at first I thought he was just carrying the same character on no but

it's in the same universe because there was a picture of Tom Berringer I can't remember it was the second and the third one but I don't remember I've never seen the fourth one but um i'll get to it but yeah this movie was pretty good i liked it um i wish you would did more sequels i mean you just did the one and treat williams took over but um this is

another just bad kids uh school nobody can control the students and the students run the school and were they bad It was re-watching it. I didn't really see except Mark Anthony. Yeah, Mark Anthony and

the one guy that was like his right-hand man that he's one of those guys where you don't know his name, but you see him in movies. There was a lot of those guys in this movie. I mean, a lot of just you've seen him in so many,

movies and they always typecast and everything. What's his name? Glenn Palmer, Palmer. Oh, what's his name? High Top and colors. Yeah, and Bobby Johnson and

the fuck was it called? South Central. Yeah. O.G. Bobby johnson bobby thompson and he was um he was in the beginning of menaceous society he was a guy that went to jail jada pink it's uh baby daddy parnell i think that was his name dancing it up and showgirls he was also uh uh in speed when uh keanu rees um jumped in his car and they were going ass down the freeway and

he's been in a ton of movies. I mean, the first thing I ever noticed him in was in colors and then he popped in all kinds of movies. So and Luis Guzman, he's the same way. He was never like the star.

I want to say he had his own TV show for a minute. I just recently watched him Hogie Nights for the billion time. He was in that. of course Ernie Hudson man he's other than Ghostbusters

he's been in a ton of stuff William Forsy American Me Devil's Rejects Raising Arizona That was probably my favorite Role of his was raising Arizona He was John Goodman's brother

Yeah The guys are broke out of prison And what was his name an American Me? He was Got it right here Oh fuck

JD Yeah Joe Peg Legg Borgand I met him Um It was like Abercricky Comic Con It was like towards the end

Of Friday night And he was just sitting at his table And I walked up and started talking to him About American Me And I was asking him about I mean, filming in prison. He goes, ah, man, it was it was sketchy, but we got through it.

And I said, I would love that character in that film and then start talking about devil's rejects. And then I brought up Deuce Bigelow and he just laughed. He was like, yeah, that was a fun movie to make. But he was really cool. Raymond Cruz, he definitely an all-star. Blood and blood out. What was his name?

And Breaking Bad. Yeah. Oh, shit. I forgot. He was an alien resurrection. He had his push. His shit pushed in and training day. Two bear.

Undersea. Was he one of the soldiers? Yeah, he's one of the soldiers. All right. I think we'll have to do that one when we do our. Nez Files of Seagull. Oh, that was,

that was Tommy Lee Wallace. Then we had to do the second one where they're on train. The one with Ricky? Yeah. And what's her name?

Catherine Hegel from knocked out. Seagull, played Seagull's niece. She wasn't that? I saw that like once, maybe twice. I don't even remember

that one. I just remember not liking it. Clear and present danger. Shit, okay. I remember that movie. He was a, than that. Yeah,

oh, he was in my ins. I hated that show. That show was stupid. I tapped out after three episodes. Well, it was during my broken ankle

phase, so I had to sit there and watch the whole thing. I wasn't buying the main guy. Easy? Yeah, just something was off

to me about him. I hate him. I mean, I'm glad he got I'm glad he got killed in um the roadhouse the one bubble boy he got eating and they threw in the water he got eaten by the

white alligator or whatever it was um yeah Raymond Cruz he's been in a ton of stuff he was in out for justice see that's another that's the one definitely we have to do I like that movie and uh we in force I was in that one

too. Okay. So let him blood out. When was okay? It had to been like 93. Yeah, 93 and this was three years later. Okay. Well, that's right. He was

in the rock too, right after this. He was one of the soldiers in that. Damn, man. He's just typecast. Oh shit. He was. He was. The gremlins two. The new bad she was the messenger he was yeah the guy

that goes up to the lab oh yeah he was from dust till dawn too I tried watching that I couldn't I couldn't do it you ever watch the series I tried it was all right I didn't I didn't really get into it that much

he was in collateral damage with Arnold hmm he stayed working yeah he did he did hell of shit that's right he came back in a better call saw oh I was happy when they

brought him when he well that's right better call Saul was before breaking bad yeah I finally finished that I wasn't really happy with the way it ended but I don't know what can you do but yeah this movie was good though

I liked what was going on I think the only bad kids was Mark Anthony and I guess his main crew, the guys is right-hand man. But even then, there was one scene when Tom Berger was talking to them all and they're asking if they had any friends died when he was in the war and he said he did. And then he asked them and then they all started going around the room and everybody was feeling sad about it. Talking about their kids and that one guy, you got a kid. kid? What kind of friend are you supposed to be his friend? I'm sure that's something you can't hide. Well, people have done it, but

when you're a teenager? Oh man, I'm pretty sure you'll tell somebody. But where were they, Miami? Yeah, I was going to bring up, you remember the soundtrack? No. There was a lot of West Coast music for it to be in. Miami I didn't even know there was a soundtrack now you make me look it up yeah one song a Mac 10 and Ice Cube who banging that was on the soundtrack I just thought it was

weird it just didn't have a more Miami sounded soundtrack even though the wackass freestyle what's his name Jerome does in the classroom and that didn't sound like he was from Miami Oh, okay. Who banging Ice Cube and Mac 10 Liquor sticks by Rhythm D

and there was a few of his movies in there movies are trash that's what the theo was saying i was like i might have seen one but the ones that they were talking about and i'm really trying not to use the word trash when i review movies but his movies are trash i mean he had that much money to just uh make movies I don't think I've ever even heard Well, obviously I've heard these songs But in the movie, but nothing Nothing stood out to me

I just kind of felt like it didn't really have A Miami sound Coobangin, I don't even remember that song I need to That's like a That was like a big song that year West Side Connection Yeah

Let me see who banging in Miami okay alright I did hear this one okay but yeah what it should have been two live crew and all that

type of stuff going on over there the Miami uh sound uh yeah yeah some of these other artists or see songs I mean I couldn't even tell you

if I heard them who's saying this I give you a million dollars I don't know. And I never even heard of these artists. Yeah, there's a lot of artists here. I'm recognizing from Masterpiece No Limit label. And that's not Miami. Where was he from?

New Orleans. Is that the dirty dirty? Yeah, started his label in Cali, but then went back home. I just remember Snoop did one. album with them. And all their album covers seem to be the same. Yeah, the, what the hell was it?

Pen and pixels. I think that was the guy that did all the album covers. I got my No Limit album cover somewhere. One of my friends made it for me. I don't I don't know. You got to post that now.

I got to find it. I know it's somewhere. He He was bored one day Making everybody podcast Album covers the no limit The no limit style I was like all right cool

Yeah he It was shit It was a while ago When he did that But they were in Miami in this one thing Yeah All right Well the beginning

The county The beginning of the film They were in, um, was it, uh, Cuba. Cuba. Yeah. They were hired to go, uh, stop some drug dealers or whatever going on down there. So Tom Berringer and his crew went down there and, uh, stopped it. I mean, it was, it was just a quick scene.

Yeah, but I guess they kind of fucked up the mission to where they kind of retired themselves. well they probably didn't do a good job because they were talking about it on the news yeah i guess the government had to deny knowing knowing them or the operation yeah because then they were like well i mean they did it but i don't know it got this is the the story got out because the news got old of it and it basically just killed their mercenary career because he was like yeah man after they saw it on the news they were kind of like, well, I guess that's it. Because they all just had to retire.

Because they were all mad that it happened. So, because, yeah, when they were watching it on the news, William Forsy's character, he was going off. He was, ah, he was hell of mad and kicked the TV. Let me see. It said something else after. um there is it

was operation gauntlet objective achieve fatalities the three status terminated deny all US involvement disown all surviving

companions and shred all the files damn so yeah once once it all their mission got out there were like uh well all right and then they basically said well since it got out in the news and everything it's we we can't do anything anymore so tom barringer was kind of mad and everyone was like oh fuck really

and then that was the end of their their mercenary career and then from there we go i think it was like three days later where we're at miami at the school and it's just All these rowdy kids out in the front. There's a fight going down between a black gentleman and, well, these guys, Puerto Rican. Is that what they were? I think some of them were Cuban. Yeah, I think it was Puerto Rican and Cubans. Yeah.

Especially on the East Coast. A friend of mine, he was out there. He's Mexican. I don't know, I guess the Puerto Ricans like to say poppy and they kept calling him Poppy and he was getting hell of mad I was like, dude man, I mean,

you're from L.A., man. That's how these guys talk over there. Calm down. He was all mad. But, yeah, the school, I mean, the teachers, um, high top.

What was his name? Mr. Darrell Sherman And Jane Hedscoe Hedstow They were The ones

They're breaking up the fight And then We see Mark Anthony's character What was his dumb man I hate Mark Anthony Juan Lakis I'm jealous Because

Did he have a kid with Jailo Or Yeah twins with her I don't know She had She was married so many times I think this recent time was number five And that's already over

Not the one of Ben Affleck Yeah he looks so miserable After they got married every time you see pictures of them He's a lucky man Good for you Maybe I don't know maybe her attitude But yeah so the teacher she was talking to What was this name?

on lockus yeah she was talking to him trying to tell him they're like look you you tell these fools to calm down he was like i'm not doing nothing i'm just standing here and then he basically she was like well you need to listen to me and he kind of threatened her well he threatened her but didn't he didn't like i'm gonna beat your ass or anything she was kind of just yelling he was like what are you gonna do and she goes what you going to do and then he goes well you what do you say you better

listen or something let me see okay because he's standing there and she goes you're always harassing me and she goes you're always hassling me and she was telling him she goes look I'm just trying to help you because you are an intelligent man well obviously she must have knew him for a while

to know that he was smart but he was he was out there living the life and she was just trying to talk to him and then he was like he goes I heard all your speeches and he goes I ain't got I got nothing to say to you

because he told her he's like look bitch you need to stop hassling me and back the fuck off that's when she went or what and then he goes and then he goes well because you wish you didn't or something like that so she took that as a threat

and then she goes to tell the principal what he said and he's like well technically that's not a threat and it's the same kind of situation as uh what was the last movie we did 187 187 when they were like he was like we can't deal with some kind of lawsuit yeah he didn't say specific words so can't do anything yeah i mean he obviously no he can play the game and the principal is Ernie Hudson and he is principal role was it roley yeah so i mean yeah he basically said he just didn't want no lawsuit and she's like just all right because because he was asking and he goes well you have no proof of this and she goes well you want proof i'll give you proof and

she goes storming out of the office and she's going to get in her car but uh lockus in the gang are all posted up in front of the school sitting on her leaning on her car smoking and drinking 40s on school property i mean school just let out like maybe half hour ago and these guys are hanging out there drinking in front of the school these are all teenagers so but oh supposed to be teenagers yeah they're probably all they all look like the 30 so she's getting in her car and she's just kind of they kind of jammed up her lock with some kind of gunk and then she just gets in and basically just peels out and takes off out she she does probably one of the hardest moves

in the movie because he throws up they're they're the kod kings of destruction so he throws up his set and she throws it up but upside down it's like uh wow the the Matt Hardy signed when he throws his hand up. She threw it up and then flipped it upside down and that that's when they got pissed off. It's funny though, man. Someone didn't do good editing job because

when she did the sign and flipped it up or flipped it upside down they all jump on her car and when the camera's on the inside of her car the windows are all excuse me like covered with spit and 40 juice

but then when they flip to the next scene we see her windshield and it's like spotless there's nothing on it but they're all cussing and screaming there saying uh nasty things they're gonna do to her tongues flipping and flopping the spitting on the windshield she brr takes off out of there and everybody goes the guys that were on the cargo falling off so uh mark it or uh lock kiss he's just kind of like yeah all right well we'll fix this chick so she goes home and this is when she finds what the hell's Tom Barron's name

um uh shale or when he becomes a substitute he's Mr. Smith yeah so she kind of knows that these guys are going to be following her

but then she gets there and sees him and she's all happy so he came back from his mission in one piece and she was just kind of just just happy to see him but then she starts he's kind of like well how's it going and everything and she's like yeah and he goes like come on just tell me and that's what she tells him what's going on at the school yeah oh go ahead he's kind of like uh oh well

all right i mean there was nothing really i mean he doesn't know i mean he has no reason to get involved yet so he's kind of just being that uh concerned friend uh listening to her so were they together or I assume they were because it seems I mean she seemed to know what he does because she was super happy when she said they they retired him

yeah but it just kind of seemed like he was gone for long periods of time Tom Bearden or what fuck was his name? Shell yeah he's still trying to look for work like and then he's hanging out with these rich people

because I think they kind of had a job for them but then he's just sitting there and I guess one of the rich guys that are running this he's talking about he's running his little business where you can hire mercenaries to do whatever but he's like made a commercial oh the guy with the with the real with the highlight tape yeah

he was super proud of that tape he was like the director he makes rock videos and shale's over there cracking out watching it yeah but the guy that he's dealing with the hell's his name uh wolfson

he's trying to get hired um shell on his crew to do something but he's kind of like uh well I don't know we'll see they were just trying to figure out uh what the what the

mission is um wellson's all he's also one of them guys like you don't know his name but he's seen him in a bunch of things cliff the young yeah but he was trying to tell them hey look you guys are gonna go do this and do that and then come back but then shell kind of realizes they look man he goes you're just you're just hiring us to go in and and kill off your uh your competition because he's dealing some kind of shady shit going on and he's like that's not who we are we're they weren't well i guess they were mercenaries but he he just wanted guys to go in there to kill off the competition uh and what he was his little shadiness he was doing and he was like you don't want sold the shell like you don't want soldiers you want killers and he's like yeah so he kind of gets up and

he's like, nah, this ain't my crew. We're not doing this. So he's gonna shit his pants before he leaves. Yeah. But he goes outside to speak to the rest of his crew. Joey six. And he tells him like, nah, man, this isn't for us. But the Joey's kind of like, fuck, man, come on.

We need work. We need to do something. And he's like, nah. we we can't do this so I yeah all right man you if you don't want if you don't want to do it then I'm

you're the boss so it's all good we'll figure out something else so we got the next scene um the hell's her name uh Jane yeah she's just

jogging along uh the the beach and just doing her thing and then all of a we get some street tiffs some hired street tough guys um she's running along and uh tom berenger shell he's looking for her because he went by her house and someone uh his or her neighbor's like oh she's down by the beach and she's running he's i get i guess he just knew exactly where she was running because

he shows right up to where she's at but when she's running down the side of the side of the This is big Indian dude A big native Native guy Yeah, sorry about the barking That's all right I'm sure I think his name was Johnny Glades Was that his name? I thought Johnny

No Johnny Glades is um What's his face? His name was bull Oh, okay This is big Indian guy's name is bull His real name is Jim Warren Warnie

Johnny Glades is Rodney 8 Grant Yeah Um That's my My homie's dad My

Oh what Yeah my buddy Akitita Um That's his dad Uh Akechita I think it means

Warrior In uh In their language And Man I don't want to I don't want to

I don't want to spit out their family business. But yeah, anyway, that's my homie's dad. Rodney A. Grant. He was also wind in his hair and dances with wolves. Oh, he was in Ghost of Mars. That's right, he was, huh? Him and Benny.

Benny Chacon was in that. Have we done that? Yeah, we did. See, see everyone, we've done so much. I don't remember. Did we do it for here or was it that I don't know I know we did it Yeah I think it was for this I don't think we did it for East society

Who knows maybe we'll do it again I like that movie I know a lot of people hated it but I like that I like it too I saw the theaters I saw it you know it didn't even come up here I saw it when it came out on DVD I had to go rent it. Oh, but anyway. I was like Ice Cube fighting the aliens.

I'm there. Yeah, that one chick from a species. Oh, yeah. Jason Statham. Pam Greer. Yeah, that was hellfuls in that. I don't get into that anymore. Anyway, so she's jogging down the roads

and this big-ass Indian dude, like canes are in the shins. And then she goes down, but he's about to hit her again. But here comes Schill. He comes springing into action just in time to bring in his mercenary moves. But they don't seem to be working because this guy jumps back up and starts swinging his big stick that he's got. They're fighting on the beach. And he's just getting, he's getting his licks in.

Schill, but that Indian guy, man, he's taking him like a champ. And then just kind of, he's getting kicked and. falling down and everything but he's he's a big dude how he just gets it and how do you feel about shale's fight scenes they're not good i mean at least he he does like roundhouse kicks i was just kind of like at least it was tom berenger i mean because there's sometimes where you see these fight scenes die hard for a good example that's seen when he's fighting uh when there are uh He's fighting the What's the guy's name with the ponytail?

Carl? Yeah. When he's fighting him. You could see that it's the Carl actor, whatever his name is. I think he passed two. Peace, I think. You could see it's him,

but the guy that's the stunt double for Bruce Willis, I mean, he could clearly see that that's not Bruce Willis. But at least in this, it was Tom Barron, fighting but his moves were nothing to ride home about so uh he gets knocked down and then uh the indian guy kind of jumps up grabs his stick and and goes hauling ass down the beach um fuck i keep forgetting her name uh jane she's just laying there and she's all beat up holding her holding her legs so they end up going to take it think you broke her the leg I

guess they did because she's in the hospital and she's all beat up and she got cast on her leg and then he chills is kind of asking well do you ever know what's going on and she's like I'm I'm not sure so he's telling her but like she's like I'm all right I'll just get up and everything will be good. He's like, no, you know what? You should just lay down and take a few days off.

Just rest up. But I think she was thinking that it was retaliation from from Loccus. La Casas' gang because she's kind of like, eh. The Kings of Destruction.

That's the most generic gangning. KOD and then we had KOS last week. But I like that one, capping out suckers. So he's telling her, she's like, look, everything's good. I'm all right. But he's like, well, you can't do nothing. You better just lay here. So she's like, all right, cool.

So he comes up with an idea. Like, all right, well, we need to do something. So he's calling around talking to who people he knows. and he kind of figures out like well well because she did mention uh locus on what was going on so he's kind of like hmm i think there's something going on let me figure it out so what his plan was is to go undercover as as a substitute at her school to see if he can figure out what's going on if it was the guy that um A big Indian guy, but they kind of think it was Johnny Glades because he's also native. I assume they're supposedly supposed to be Seminoles. Yeah, they say that in a movie. Okay, yeah, because that's the tribe down there, or one of the tribes in Florida.

So, but Tom Barron, character. Fuck. He, uh, he did this he did this hell of quick, man. I don't know if this was like days later or like the next day. He gets, you talking about when his team

gets his credentials? Yeah. I mean, they did it hell of fast. Let's just say maybe a few days went by and he got everything. Unless his team's that good. They gave him like Ivy League, like Yale and Princeton and other things. Yeah.

Basically just made a whole profile for him so he can uh and that obviously they must have squeezed them into the system somehow and i sure i'm sure there's a ton of people in that system to be substitute but i don't know it's a movie it's kind of trying not to overthink it so so he shows him at the school and he's walking around trying to figure out what's going on and um he knew the school had bad kids but he it seems like he didn't realize it was going to be like this because he goes walking into the school and it kind of reminded me of um the principal when uh it's not jimbleu she goes walking in and just like looking around like what the hell is going on here because all these kids

everything's like everything's fenced up there's uh there's metal detectors and all that i know we talked about this the last time did you guys have a metal detector at your school no we didn't either but different times uh everyone so he's walking down the hall we're seeing uh lockus and his gang and everybody else so uh the principals he's just trying to get everyone there he goes up to um shill and and kind of introduces himself and everything letting him know what's going on and he tells him yeah i'm substituting for um what was jane's last name ed's go ed's go and she's like he's like oh okay cool he's like all right well just when you're done go to the office and figure out some more stuff so he kind of tells him where to go

so we go to her classroom and it's all hell breaking loose in there everyone in there gambling smoking cigarettes yeah the radio's bumping people dancing people sleeping uh mark anthony in the back with all the chicks around them uh guys are stealing out of the desk right in front of them yeah steals her hair dryer one guy sitting there listening to the music writing rhymes it's like why does she have a hair dryer I don't know so yeah he gets there and makes everyone get into class

but then he walks in there and it's all crazy he got one fool just rifling through the desk nobody was looking for but yeah when he walks in he she closes the door he walks up and turns the radio off

wants everyone to sit down and then he starts moving the desks back the way they should be and everyone's just like ah man and he's just trying to get some kind of order in his class so he introduced himself to who to the classroom but then the kids they're just not they're not well receptive for him they're just kind of just being kids I guess so he's taking a role trying to figure out who's who and then uh he calls uh locks is his name and he's in the back in the very back row with all the girls around them and he's like uh flips off uh shill so he's kind like hmm all right well i know who you are now because she did uh she mentioned him that he was the one that threatened her and he's the the leader

of this gang. He now knows what he looks like. Yeah. So he's gonna ask him, all right, well, what are we what are we doing? What are we doing in this class? And everyone's just giving them shit. So he's trying to figure

out, uh, all right, well, now he knows what he's got to deal with. So he doesn't hesitate. All right. Well, let me see what's happening here. Uh, we, this is when we're, no we are we already introduced to him um

what's his name Sherman Glenn Palmer's character he was um just one of the I think it was the drama teacher or something and this uh this lady the um I think she was a secretary

librarian oh yeah the librarian yeah she's uh Anna Dillon, aka her real name is Peggy Pope. She's another one of those. Oh, her. She's been in a ton of things. I remember in, she was all drunk in 9 to 5.

She was last Starfighter. She was in that. She was in one spitting. Have we done last Starfighter? I don't think you and me did. I think when we were doing other kind of movies on the horror returns, I think we did it there. Okay. But we didn't fully get into it.

Write that one down. I love that movie. It's one of the first movies, one of the first movies to have a CGI in it. So these teachers are kind of filling him in on what's going on. and he's think about the KOD and all that and oh she's the she's the librarian so

he's going by Jim Smith now so but Glenn Palmer Sherman he's kind of like eh well he he knows what's going on he knows what they did and he did see

the threat that Lachas did but again, they don't know. You hear that static? Not really. It's not me, is it?

it's kind of none of your business you're plus you're a substitute I'm not going to give you a file on somebody because you're only going to be here for a little while yeah I think he also said lockus his files were locked probably just one of those kids that got

sent to the school from another school I don't know but she'll ask as him he's like well what are you doing here why are you in this school he kind of tells them I go well I was a cop and then he just

kind of left the cop lifestyle just to to be a principal or yeah to be a principal in the school so he left the force it wasn't like he got hurting or anything he just didn't like what was going on there

basically he wanted he wanted to do something for his community because I assume he just wasn't getting treated right because he was black and he wasn't following the good old boy attitude so he kind of you know what i'm gonna leave and went back to school and everything got his teaching stuff and then eventually ended up being a principal so he looks like that he's doing all his all the right things so shill's not really like hmm okay well he's kind of figuring trying to figure out who he is and

everything but yeah he does notice his nice gold Rolex he has yeah and he is running for some kind of a council or whatever so uh fucking lockus is that his name um fuck i'm ernie hudson uh roly roly okay he kind of asked him well what do you what are you doing here why why are you teaching is like uh well you know i just basically i wanted something to do But at least he didn't say I'm just here for the check. But yeah, that's when he, after they had that little conversation, he kind of just telling him, look at it. You're only a temporary teacher. I'm not giving you files to the kids.

But he does ask him about that watch. Yeah, and that's when he asked, he said, I guess he said it was a gift. Then he asked, is he worried about wearing it and that school around those kids? and that's when he pulls out the wooden paddle and he karate chops it. Yeah, I mean, my elementary teacher or principal cannot remember his name. It was the first school I went to, Bella Vista in Oakland. I remember going into his office one time, and I wasn't in trouble. I was getting some kind of award.

And I remember, see, he had a paddle on the wall. like this. Did he karate chop it? No. The rumor was that if you got sent to his office, he used it on you. Different times in the 70s,

so, I mean, I've never heard it, and none of my friends ever experienced that paddle. And I don't, maybe it was just a rumor, but I don't know. the few times I was in his office I mean the first time was because of a reward or award and then I think the last time I was in there I got no fight with someone and I just remember sitting there

I don't remember exactly what he said because I was too busy staring at that paddle on the wall waiting for to take it down he had he had it like on a it was on the wall but it was like some kind of stand it wasn't like he had hooks in it or anything and it was hanging there. So he could easily took it off that stand if he needed to use it. But I just remember sitting there and whatever he was saying was in here, one out the other. But I was looking at that paddle thinking I was going to feel its wrath. But I never did. So, yeah, he karate chops the paddle and kind of just lets him know that, look, I ain't no punk.

so because he's he did say he goes yeah the wood the the wood shop they always make me one because i guess when he does an assembly he was able he has to show these students that he ain't no punk and he's the he's about that life it if they're gonna talk shit he's gonna bring it on them but i don't think he ever did he was basically just trying to scare the kids so once uh shill leaves he goes to meet up with his team and he's letting them know that there's something going on at this school i need you guys to to help me figure out what it is plus they all knew uh jang so they're like all right man you know what she's cool uh we're down for her well let's let's figure this out yeah because he tells them there might not be on money up front but there's money there

because he, what does he say? He's like these kids that wear Rolexes and driving $80,000 BMWs. Yeah. And then what's his name? William Forsyte. What the hell is his? Holland. Yeah, he starts to go off.

He's like, man, what the fuck, man? He goes, whenever we can start doing some real work, what are we doing? And he's yelling at him. He's telling him talking about, you want us to go do some job at a high school. And he's like, man. And then the rest of the guys are kind of like, come on, dude, man. Just chill out. But he's, he's just mad.

He wants real work. He doesn't want to just go in and do some kind of surveillance or whatever in this. So he's kind of yelling at him. And then he kind of just, you know what, fuck you guys. I'm out. So. But Schill's kind of like, all right, guys, this is what we're doing. And he did tell him, because, look, there's something wrong going on.

in this school we need to figure out what it is but then so that guys are just making jokes like well what's going on i mean guys aren't doing their homework and then they're kind of like we don't know but he did tell him was yeah it goes like there's no money now but there's there's money at some point because then he starts talking about these kids i mean other than the what they're wearing and the jewelry and the driving around these fancy ass cars BMWs or whatever so he's trying to figure out like he'd look there's something here uh we need to figure it out and everything he's like if you guys want to do this do it if not it's fine you guys can go uh do whatever you're gonna do uh but they'll decide to help him he goes back to school the next day and he sees his crew starting

to uh do surveillance type of stuff we got one guy up on the telephone pole hacking into the phone lines and everything we got another one another one of guys is in his crew crew is in the hallway. He's putting up surveillance cameras. For trying to be sneaky, I mean, he's doing this, putting those cameras up with a full hallway of kids.

But who knows? Maybe these kids aren't even really paying attention to what this guy's doing. So he goes back to his classroom. And it's the same whole thing again. Everybody in there pointing around having a good time. but then he really kicks in just like look man this this is my class we're gonna we're gonna do what we gotta do

he wanted to talk about uh Vietnam but one of those little gang dudes in the back starts talking shit and he um he throws a can he doesn't try to hit uh shill in the back but she'll turns around grabs it and then throws it back at that guy's face and then he starts

yelling and telling him because the lesson he's teaching is about vietnam and he's saying look back in vietnam you had to make sure that you had eyes on the back of your head so you can see everything that's going on but he's when when that kid threw the can he caught it and threw a back at him and hit him in his face and that's when that kid jumped up you're a dead motherfucker man and he's trying to tell him like i don't i don't need any kind of this shit in my room That street that tough guys are standing looking at him And his buddies are like

and he asked him for the ice pick and that guy's like yeah I ain't got it so he kind of starts walking up to him talking shit and start poking him with his finger and then she'll grabs it and kind of just starts to bend it and gets him under the ground and then he's like come on he's like give me the ice pick so he kind of reaches into his pocket and gets it so he goes back up to the front of the classroom it just lets him know that he's um he goes i'm in charge of this classroom i'm the warrior chief i'm the merciless god of anything anything that stirs in my universe and he goes in with me he will find out no he goes then you

fuck with me you'll find out or suffer my my wrath or whatever he says and he's kind of speaking up really loud so all the kids are kind of like uh okay um locus is in the back there and guys look like they were going to jump in and do something but he's kind of like gives him the sign like nah, just let this guy do what he's got to do. So the two guys that he jumped or, well, I guess they were about to attack him and he was defending himself, but they're all beat up and they want to go to the nurse's office. So they end up leaving. And Locke's is just looking at him like, all right. So, um, um, um, what was there any Hudson's character's name?

the principal. Rolley. Yeah, he's in the nurse's office and the two dudes that were all beat up were like, yeah, man, he did this to us. And he's like, all right. So he goes hauling ass

out of the room. And he's like calling security. Like, hey, man, get up to Smith's room. We got a code whatever. So he starts hurrying up and marching up there. And then when he gets to the classroom,

he sees that Schill is just sitting there talking about Vietnam to the kids and all the kids are just sitting there listening nobody's acting up they're all paying attention to his lesson and he's just basically just telling him

his experience of being in Vietnam and this is the scene when they start talking about what's going on and one of the girls is like yeah my My uncle got his legs blown off when he was there. But these guys, but he's trying to just let them know what's up.

And all these kids, I mean, they're, they're not dumb because when he's talking about this, they all start speaking of other things going on. One of the girls starts talking about Castro, because she is from Cuba and everything before they came up to them. and then one of the students asked him if how many people that he killed in Vietnam and he was kind of like

he said I don't know and then another another student asked him if he lost any of his homeboys Jerome yeah with the worst freestyle ever I mean these guys didn't seem bad they seemed like they were just

I don't want to say following the crowd when everybody was being bad but these were the black students but then he had asked them I mean if they lost homeboys and he said he did and he goes yeah and then Jerome starts talking about yeah man he goes he goes I lost some homeboys too and then he's talking about mostly about during drivebys

and everything and then Lakis starts talking shit in the back. And he asks him if he's like, yeah, he goes, I've been shot. And then all these kids start jumping up, acting like they're all proud.

One guy jumped and goes, yeah, man, I've been stabbed and shot. And he pulls up his shirt and you see the scars on him. Then another kid jumps up and starts a shot with an AK. Yeah. So when everyone was just showing off their scars and the bell rings, and they all like, all right, man, we're out of here. but then Lachis kind of walks up on him

and kind of just gives him a stare down like all right because I know who you are so Schill knows he knows something something else is really going on but at this point he doesn't know what's happening he opens up his briefcase and he's got his little laptop and he starts scrolling around to all the surveillance

its cameras that are in the hallways and the stairwells and everything and outside and then when he's looking at all the at the camera shots he sees that um the principal comes walking in so he shuts his briefcase and lets him know that hey there's two students and then he's kind of like looking at him like they can't you can't do this he's talking about the corporal punishment is is no longer allowed anymore. And this is what, in the 90s? Yeah, so I think it was starting to change. Because again, 70s and 80s and before I was born,

yeah, the teachers were able to discipline you. I mentioned that on 187, and those of you did hear it. Yeah, I mean, I remember getting hit with the ruler, hit with the pointer. I remember my kindergarten teacher. The hell is her name? Miss Predivik as a big white lady. I don't really think I don't think I was acting up.

According to whatever, whatever, the union rules, you got at least give him some kind of notice. So he's like, uh, all right. So he kind of agrees to him. Like, okay.

I still want you out of here, but I guess here's your two week notice. So he's telling him like, okay. so shill is back at his house i guess and he's got his crew with him and they're trying to figure it out but i mean at this point they still don't know what's happening because i mean the the surveillance video and everything that they have it's not showing anything so they're kind of like all right well he's like all right i'm only going to be there for a little while longer so we need to kind of speed this up hopefully we can find whatever but um

Jane, she goes, was that her name? Yeah, Jane. She comes home from the hospital and he's like, okay, she doesn't know that Schill is a substitute at her school. He just, oh, I got a job and I'm doing this. So it's kind of like, all right, cool, whatever, party. So she's back at home. She's trying to figure out everything with her life. And he's kind of just letting her know, like, okay, everything's good.

She's getting, like, notes from her students. And they're basically saying that, like, look, we miss you and hope you feel better. Don't give up on us and all that. So she's starting to be sad. And I get it, man. She was laid up in the hospital. Now she's home and she can't go back to school until she basically gets cleared by the doctor. so he's just trying to tell

I look everything's good out something because she's like all right cool anyway so he goes back to school same old thing he strutting through the school and everyone's uh checking him out so everyone knows that everybody knows who he is now

and what's going on and okay I hear that ice cube west side connection song played on the east coast I mean, everyone loves ice cube. Don't get me wrong.

Yeah, so, but he's still teaching them about Vietnam. And while he's doing that, here comes Lakis and the two guys that he roughed up. They come walking and thinking they're all rough and tough. So this is when he's doing his lesson. And then Lachis, I don't know. What did Lachis do? started acting up oh no no no this is when he made him write uh something about i'm sorry on the chalkboard a hundred times yeah yeah well he was teaching a lesson and then he was he was talking shit so he basically

told him like let just get up here and write this well first uh lock is like oh what do you want me to do right say i'm sorry a hundred times and he's like man that sounds like a good idea come up and do that so he gets up and uh And he does it. He starts just doing more lessons. Just teaching them, but trying to get to them. Like, try to reach out to these kids to let them know that everything's all good. I'm a good teacher. And they are coming around to him. They're all starting to listen and not be all wild and everything. The only one who's really acting up is Lakis and his crew. so they were just kind of asking him about what did he do what did he grow up and was he in a gang

and all this but he said he wasn't in a gang but it was like a motorcycle club that he was part of so well he just kind of get to know these kids and everything that's going on this is when it got really heavy yeah this is the scene when they were talking about one guy goes yeah i got a kid and all that and this buddy what you got a kid Yeah, and then he asked Shail, ask how many in his class have kids And like over half the class raises their hand. So,

next scene, Lachis is in the bathroom waiting. And here comes Rolet. He comes in and like, all right, what's going on? And this is when we find out that Rolet is the real leader. It's not,

Lackus Mark Anthony's character But basically told him like look man you guys need to take care of this Talking about take care of Mr. Smith And while that's going on There's a hidden camera in there So Shill is listening to it and watching it on his little

briefcase camera So now he's starting to put Slowly put pieces together on what's happening in here. But, um, Rolet basically told them like, look, man, you guys take care of them. So he's like, all right.

So shill is up in his room. This is when the kid Frost, this is for the Rasa, kicks in. Yeah, another West Coast song. Yeah. These guys, they're all starting to post up outside. Shil is up in his room or in his classroom putting on a bulletproof vest. got his gun and everything ready to go we see locus outside with his crew and they're loading up uh shill comes walking out out of the school he looks around he sees uh jerome and his friends

uh just kind of hanging out in the parking lot throwing football around so but she'll sees lockus and two other dudes and they're convertible and they're like all right that's him let's go so they go running after him she'll goes running back into the school And these guys, Lachis and his gang, all three of them go running by with guns, but everyone's just kind of looking at them. Rolet is up in his office and he calls this security like, like, man, there's a code, whatever, whatever in the front of the school. So the Lakis and his gang go running down the hall and they're looking for a shill or Mr. Smith. and these guys are fully loaded glocks everything and again like we said rolle is in on it so he's has his security detail go uh up there chasing him uh shield goes into the to the library

and he tells on it's like look hey just the librarian get behind your desk and get down so while he goes he kind of hides behind one of these bookshelves and these guys come in um everyone's got there everyone's got a gun. They're just looking around for them. And I'm sure this library is not that big, but it's a movie. So Shill kind of

runs up behind them. He grabs the last guy that came in. He's a security guard. And then he tells everyone, look here. Put your guns on this, on this little bookshelf. So, or a book cart. So he gets

all their guns. And they're all just looking at him and he gives it to anna and there's a i assume that's her little office it's a little basically a little cage where she can lock it and he tells her and he's like look go into your office lock the door and he tells her in 15 minutes call the police so he's like all right so he's standing there she takes the cart and goes into her little office and locks the door he's sitting there looking at them he walks over there's some kind of drop box or something in the wall he puts he puts his gun in there

and then he's like all right come on guys let's do this and then he starts throwing books at him throwing him like their ninja stars yeah he's just starting to read the book titles and he's just shuck throwing the books at him and then he pushes the the book card and they all go falling down

And again, like I said, this library isn't that big, but he's running and hiding. Rolet is downstairs in his office, and he hears all the commotion going on upstairs. So he's kind of like, all right, calling his other security. Look, hey, man, let's get up there. There's something going on. So these guys are walking around the library looking for him. I can't find him. And Schill is just kind of springing into action.

and then he's hiding he kicks one guy off the ladder because they were thinking he was hiding up on top of the bookshelves one of the dudes uh it jumps onto the ladder and it's one of those ladders that you can push along that has wheels so it goes along the the book the bookshelves and he pushes it shield pushes it so hard it goes all the way to the end the guy that's on it i don't know why he didn't just jump off but all right he actually starts climbing down and then goes back up he was only like two two steps up he could easily jump down but but then that wouldn't have been the sweet scene so show pushes it hell of hard it goes flying towards a wall hits so hard that guy goes ah he falls off the ladder

crashes through the window and falls like uh two stories Jerome and his buddies are still outside grab-assin or whatever they were doing. Rolley, he calls 911 to report an accident. But while he's doing this, his back is to a window. We hear, and we see another guy fall to the ground. And then he kind of realized like, oh, shit. But back up in the library, Anna is still hiding in her office. One of the little street tells goes runs over to that lockbox and pulls the gun out of it

Shill was about to get it on with a lockus but the guy that took the gun He points it at Shill mr. Smith and shoots him in the chest and then he falls down So they think he's dead so they kind of walk up onto him and he's uh he looks dead his eyes are aren't shut So they're like oh come on so uh lockus tells him look man let's just kill this bitch and then get out of here. Again, she's got all the guns that he took away from them on a bookshelves because she grabs one of them. And she's pointing it at the guy and she's all nervous and scared.

So he looks like he's getting ready to shoot her. But, oh, Lakis took off. She goes, look, man, kill that bitch and then come and come downstairs. So he left. Schill goes running up behind this dude that's pointing the gun. and he attacks him and gets the gun away from him and he grabs him runs him over to the window and and a throws him out so the total of four guys got thrown out the window lockus is down on on the floor trying to make sure that everyone's okay honor comes out of the office and she's like hey are you

okay um but um the bullet that hit him hit him right uh the bulletproof vest so he knows he's all right but when he takes it off you can see that there's a little a little bruise uh on his chest so chill packs up he's getting ready to leave oh when uh rolet called the nine-one-one he was like okay i want to report an accident but then we saw the second guy go falling down he kind of like uh you know what so i'm sorry this is uh it was a mistake so he hung up so shill is walking down the hall and here comes roley out of his office and then uh shill's kind of like oh you wanted to see me and uh roley's like yeah you know what it's late uh we'll just talk tomorrow so back at jane's apartment um glen what the hell's uh glen paulman's name sherman he shows up at jane's house to let her

know, brings her some flowers, let her know he's thinking at her and checking on him, basically. But he tells her, you're like, hey, where did you get this principle or this substitute from? And when she said, oh, well, he was just somebody I knew. I didn't,

she didn't know he was talking about Schill, but when Sherman's looking around in her apartment, he does notice there's a picture of her and mr smith chill so he's kind of like just like oh okay but back in um what is uh joey six

he's following um lockus and he's he's on a cell phone talking about uh he wanted to was he speaking to um was uh johnny Glades. Johnny Glaze. He was he talking to him

telling him about this teacher. And so he was like, all right, well, they wanted to go meet at some little roadside fruit stand store. So Johnny, is it Johnny 6 or Joey 6?

Joey. Johnny 6. Oh, I'm thinking of Johnny 5 from Short Circuit. So Johnny Joey six is looking in. Is it Joey six or Joey five? So yeah, Joey six.

He's watching that kid and watching him go into that little food stand store. She'll show shows up back at Jane. Oh, I got to lunch or dinner or whatever. And she's fixing her flowers. Oh, where did you get those? Oh, Darrell brought them. So she starts questioning him. him and he's like all right well we got food and this and that so she sits down to eat it with him

and he thinks everything's all good but then she like grabs a handful of rice and just throws it at him but first she asked him he was oh what do you do and he's oh i'm uh i work security and this and that so she kind of calls lets him know what's going on because he's like look i'd love to have some rice Mr. Smith and then he kind of looks at her and then she like grabs a handful of rice and throws it in his face So he knows his uh His cover is busted so Daryl told her well I don't think Daryl would have known if he didn't see Daryl Sherman Daryl for his name didn't see that picture of her and

Schill and I think that's when he pointed out to her this is the guy in sitting Mr. Smith, so now she knows. So he's trying to explain to her why he's doing this. But back at that little fruit stand store, we see Joey 6 walking around I assume drinking coconut

water or milk or whatever out of a big coconut with a straw in it. So we see Locke's walking around the store. And this is when we're introduced to Johnny Glaze. Is that his name? Glades.

Glades. It's Rodney A. Grant's character. He kind of just gives him a little nod. No, oh, no, she'll, yeah, Shill knew who he was, because he goes and follows him. But then he also got one of the other guys, one of Shill's other crew, is outside,

looking around and keeping an eye on Lachus. So he goes and gets, gets back in his car and he's getting ready to take off. And then shit. What was? Oh, he was the

his drug dealer, right? Johnny Lades? Okay. Yeah. So. He's supposed to be like a crime boss. He's, he's who, he's who Rolay and

So back at jane's apartment uh lock is or uh chill is letting her know like look there's something going on here and we're trying to figure it out so she's kind of like well all right and i'm sure she was mad at him for for lying to her but he's like look there's i mean other than he's trying to figure out who did this to you and why but i think he knows now and he knows what's going on like look there's something

going on here and we're just trying to figure it out so just relax and stay away for a while so um joey six they're still uh following everyone to see what's going on uh with those guys so is this one they oh they followed them to uh to the beach i guess and this is when we see that big indian guy again so then something's going something's going down some kind of deal is happening because Joey 6 and the rest

of the gang they're all they're still watching them in the cut they got all their little surveillance stuff but they did call Shill and told like look hey man something's going on down here get down here so he races down there when he tells them he's like yeah Johnny Glade's

looking around and then it's when they tell him that he's this big drug dealer and kingpin down there. So when Shill's looking around, he sees the big Indian guy and is like, hey, there's a dude that hit Jane in the leg. So they're kind of like, all right. Because the big Indian guy and some other guy, they're kind of like there.

And they're just kind of lingering out waiting for something. And then all of a sudden this boat comes pulling up to the docks. And those guys, they're watching. And it's just two other dudes. Oh, so She'll tells Joey 6 Look like you take the boat And he's going after the other dude

And he says the big Indian is mine So they're walking down They did some kind of deal Drug deal I assume The little guy is holding a briefcase And he and Schill walks up on him And he's pointing the gun Telling him to get on the ground

so he goes up to the big indian guy and kind of surges him gets his gun uh joey six is running around and he pulls up uh to the guys in the boat uh kills both of them really fast and jumps in there and grabs their drugs i guess because it was like a duffel bag of coke so shields over there he takes the gun away from the indian guy and then he uh shoot open the the briefcase and sees it's full of money. So he's about to walk up on them again. But then here comes William Forsyte's character. Holland.

He comes up, pointing the gun as Schill, takes his gun away from him. And then he's telling the big Indian guy to get up. And then he looks at it and goes, yeah, you, dummy, get up. So he tells him to Indy guy, look, man, it's your lucky day. Here, kick his ass. so now this fake ass this weak fight there was a roundhouse

kick in there well but no what's his name holland he stopped him he shoots at him or shoots at the ground at shill's feet goes hey look man none of that that ninja horse shit so

so they're just doing them they're fighting that big india guy oh man there's no well I assume shill's some kind of train killer. So, but he, he knocked,

he, fighting with the big Indian guy, but he kicks him in the face and he falls down. But then he falls to the ground. And Holland is starting to talk shit to Schill. And Schill's looking at

Holland. Then we see the Indian guy get up from behind him. He picks up something like he's getting ready to hit Schill in the back. But, um, Holland he blasts the Indian guy basically tells him look

he goes now we're even so everything's all good basically I'm not mad at you anymore and don't be mad at me so Joey six comes running up hey man I knew you'd be back

and he looks to see what they got and Joey six has a bag full a little like a gym bag type of thing and it's full of drugs but she'll grab the bag and throws it into the water and Joey 6 is like No, what are you doing?

Holland walks over there, picked up the briefcase and all the money and he's happy, so obviously they're going to divvy up the funds. Out in the Everglades somewhere, we're seeing Johnny Glades, and he's got... Who does he? He has somebody that... It's the other guy from the deal, the one that got away. All right. Um, fuck, what's, I'm, I'm forgetting everyone's name.

Rolley. Rolley, he's at home watching the news, and they're talking about, uh, there was some kind of drug deal that went sideways down by the waterfront. And, uh, people are dead and this and that. And they're, they just kind of said, they just think it was a drug deal that got gone bad. And he's kind of like, all right, whatever.

So he's trying to show this. But he gets a phone call, uh, Johnny Glades and letting him know that look man somebody took my drugs and what do you know about it So Johnny Glades is him and three other Indian guys On their little um Those little swamp Uh Boats that they ride around in

Yeah, but he lets him know that yeah man they shot one of my guys So he's gonna like I got one of your guys and they fire up the The propellers and tells him like look man shit's gonna go down if you don't get my money so they grab this guy and they stick his head we don't see it

but they stick his head into the the blades of that boat and transitions right to his wife making fresh orange juice so that fools did and rollet's kind of like

oh man shit's shit's happening so um he doesn't know who's doing all this. They just figure it's just some other crew trying to get in on it. He goes to school.

He grads Lachas and kind of tell him, he goes like, what the fuck, man? Did you guys rip me off? And he's like, hell no, I didn't do it. And he goes, look, man. He goes, shit. This fool's kids coming after me. And Lachis is telling him, was like, look, man, I did what you told me to do and I'm I left because a relay thinks that these guys him and his crew might have

might have uh double crossed them and he's like no man we didn't do that shit and he's telling like look man goes if we don't figure out what's going on man we're we're both in deep shit but then while he's telling him that all of a sudden we hear some kind of uh music blasting and the speakers and shill is on there like hey everybody man we got uh new uh football equipment new computers uh music instruments and pizza for everybody outside they they go outside and uh shill's crew is uh loading up uh the school with all this brand new supplies for the school because this school didn't have anything because it's tough to get money.

Big ass liber. Yeah, so he got like books. I don't know how he got this on one night, but I guess it's possible if you got the money. But did his crew get money?

Or did they just blow it all on all this stuff? Because I'm sure this shit ain't cheap, especially musical instruments. I don't think they got any money. because I know Joey wanted to keep the drugs

but shelled through that in the ocean he could have jumped in and grabbed it he didn't throw it too far and I'm sure those things are wrapped up good so water can't get I don't know everyone's this type of drugs is

He's like, just, all right, can you just be quiet for a while until we figure out what's going on? uh relay is looking out the window and seeing all this and that he kind of calls up glades is like hey man look i think i know where your money went because like i said all this shit that they're getting all that stuff

is expensive so they're kind of trying to put two and two together uh so they're like okay we'll we'll figure this thing out on what's happening um back at the school Sherman He's he's sitting in his classroom trying to do his thing Gray papers or whatever and one of his students comes in she's kind of like hey He's a cool if I hang out of here and waiting for someone and I don't want to get harassed I assume So he's they're doing their thing in there Fuck I can't remember what else happened after this. Oh

Well we we didn't talk about how Shale Sherman told Shale that he knew he was who he really was and then Shale told him what was going down and he didn't believe that Rolet was doing that and

he felt like it was just another way for them to bring a black man down. Yeah so I mean Sherman was uh no Shill was telling or Sherman that and then about what do you think

trying to drive home and these two fools roll up on the side of him and shoot at him and then he goes and crashes into somebody's double-eyed trailer. Hopefully nobody was in the room that that truck goes crashing in into because uh if if so they those whoever's in there is dead but uh rola rolet gets a phone call talking about uh yeah um they uh because he he told him to kill him to kill uh tom barringer's character

so i guess they they call and yeah he's dead because uh roley is calling him got this a little smirk on his on his face Sherman is still at the school I don't know why they're all there so late and uh I think it was conferences Oh that's right it was And the one girl from Shales class

Lisa Wanted to stay by because I guess some Think you said somebody was messing with her Yeah So they're trying to leave And they're like Walking up to the front door

But the front door is all chained up so like oh you know what well let's go leave through the basement so they go walking down into the auto shop and then went down in the auto shop we see rolet um lockus and a whole bunch of other guys down there doing bad shit and there uh there's a i don't know some kind of hole on the floor with the door over it they're filling it with uh bags of coke And I guess the panels on the side of one of the school buses is just

packed full of coke in there. So they're pulling all that and putting it into the floor. A little hiding place. Do your school had an auto shop? We did, but by the time I got there, it stopped. They

stopped the class. We had to go to a separate school to take that class. They were stopping everything they were stopping wood they stopped auto and metal shop so i i don't know cutbacks i assume because of the auto shop uh they still had old cars uh back there if you like walked on the back the back entrance of the school they had all the cars that they were fixing there was like three or four cars there but they didn't uh toll them off yet so i mean i i didn't

have auto shop but like i said by the time i got to the to high school it was it was already stopped um so yeah man these guys that that whole site was it was it a bus that they were i think so no no no i'm looking at it looks like it's just a wall a wall of coke uh rolet kind of notices like hey man i think i saw somebody So Sherman and Lisa, that's what say her name was? Yeah. They're trying to get the hell out of school, but the relay tells Locke's and his crew, like, hey, man, go see what's going on. So they run upstairs and they see Sherman and Lisa.

So they're chasing after them. Sherman kind of grabs easy. Look here, hide here. And after you don't hear anybody, you get out and go tell Shill what's going on. so they're like all right so they're kind of running around he kind of he they they lost them for a little bit but then he uh he tells her he yoke you go go that way and i'll take off so he he sherman starts running and they see him he goes running into the gym this part was stupid he runs into the gym uh lockus and his crew come in one door and rolet comes in and the other

And there's these ropes hanging from the ceiling. Did you guys have ropes in Jim Clay? Yeah, but there was nowhere to climb up out of. Yeah. Sherman jumps up on one of the ropes and starts pulling itself up. Like, where are you going to go? And to think about it, I don't know if they have ropes still now in school, but we didn't have, I didn't have Jim in high school.

but in junior high that was one of the requirements in seventh grade that you had to climb this rope but I was a little tubby guy and I couldn't do it if we would have had those in high school

that's when I slimmed down and I would have been able to do it but shit I could barely made it up a foot off the ground trying to pull my fat ass up on one of these ropes but I

we were watching something my wife and I and I was like that I didn't think about it at the time that's not safe because that rope went all the way to the ceiling and that was one of the requirements

to climb all the way to the top and this is like a gym basketball gym different time and those ceilings were high and no one ever fell off thank goodness well you had the one kids that would climb to the top and then let go

oh yeah but that's a long drop and all it is at the bottom is those little thin tumble mats that they gave us if you fell I don't care who you are man you're all them thin

But Lockees pulls out of switchblade and stabs Sherman in the arm so he falls Down the rope and lands right on top of one of those kids Yeah, that looks painful Yeah, so he's laying there getting up and everyone pulls out their guns And he starts yelling at Rolley telling like man, you fucking you selling out your own people And Rolley's like sellout and he goes He goes look at you

And then he's telling him goes I see you when I was young and stupid So and he's he's trying to crawl away for his life, but he ain't he ain't going no way so uh rolley takes the gun away from uh lacus and then boom ends up uh blasting him uh but he had a little suppressor on on his gun next day we got somebody outside uh with a horn uh doing taps and uh the flag is half mass all the students inside are all mad kind of doing a moment of silence Rolley's in his office smiling Feet kicked up reading the newspaper And while this kid is playing taps

Here comes a shill He walks up and like who died And he looks at it was you did sir And then he's like Okay I guess I'm a little late Then he goes into the he starts going into the To the school Everybody in there thinks that he's dead

And then they're all looking at him like What? What? So he walks by Locke's and his crew smiling at them because they all thought he was dead too Roll A comes out of his office sees him and then goes back into his office

but then here comes to Jerome and goes yeah man I heard that you got wasted so they were like I don't know I'm good because they said that the principal said that you had died last night on the loudspeaker so he's like

well I'm here so everything all good uh lockus and rolet are running out like look man we need to do something take this fool out so uh they jump into uh roley's car and i assume we're gonna go do some some gangster shit uh uh shill wants to uh talk to um the principal but tells him that uh he's not here so he's like all right He goes, but yeah, but he's not going to be here. He's got something going on at 3.30. So he goes like, okay. So he goes leaving.

He goes out and tells Jerome, like, hey, man, I got to go. So can you take over my class? So Jerome goes into the classroom, tells him, all right, everyone's to calm down. Shut up. I'm taking over for Mr. Smith. Lisa comes running in. He's like, where is he? Where's Mr. Smith at?

And he's like, I don't know. but he's telling he tries to give her a demerit first so uh she's basically saying like look man I need to tell him something but then we see

uh chill he's uh racing over to um what was this guy's name um Wolfson he's at uh the athletic club playing um High lie High lie. Have you ever played that? No, but I've seen videos. This is a dangerous ass

sport. That, yeah, that I don't know, man, throwing that hard ball against a wall and I'm sure that shit comes top speed Back at you. Seeing dudes just catch it straight to the head. I mean, I'd have some kind of mask and pads on. They had helmets on and still knocked out cold. Yeah, because that's all this guy's wearing is a helmet.

So he walks in there and is telling him, like, look, does he ask him for Rolet? Is that what he asked him for? Yeah, I think he knew they were all connected. So he was asking where they were. Yeah, but then that guy, he starts launching the balls at him. But then he goes chasing. chasing after him and he chases them into the locker room where there's these two guys making the highlight catching thing that you have on your hand i don't know what it's called but um they're in there making

it and they didn't even stop them they're still making it not even looking at what they're doing and they're watching um she'll beat this fool up Beat him with the helmet. Yeah, and he's telling him like, look, man, you better tell me everything. Look, I don't know nothing. And then he finds out that he's a part of this drug deal and stuff that's going on. So he's telling, yeah, fuck man, that shit would he he would hella hurt. Getting hit with a helmet.

He's getting hit in their face with it. But he does ask him, it's like, how long has Rolley been on Glaid's? payroll and he's like I don't know man I don't know it goes this this this I don't know I think you start talking about I think it started when he was a cop but then then it rolled over to him being a teacher and he tells them that they're funneling the drugs through the school oh he doesn't know that yet uh Sherman and Lisa no that's okay that's what I remember that's what Lisa wanted to to tell him so now he's tells him goes yeah he goes look how they're getting how they're distributing it all the

kod is doing it all so they were going through this guy i think he was helping them uh get it into the country for whatever business this fool does so he basically told them what's happening and he's telling him like look man you better leave and don't ever come back or these guys are going to kill you so he's kind of like all right and then he'd gives a, gives them one more hit for the road. Blasses every in the head. Back at the school. Oh, no, no.

Jerome and Lisa go to Jane's house to let them know what's going on. But when they get there, this is when they, are those guys already in their apartment? I think so. Yeah. So, uh, Shill goes home to his apartment. and she's uh when he gets there it's like right when she calls and his answer and she picks it up and she tells him like hey uh i got those papers uh that needed to be graded for you and she's sitting

there and lock is got a gun to her head so she goes all right just come by and come get him uh jerome and lisa are on the couch and they're getting duct taped up so she'll runs into his his house, runs over to his little ninja star basket. I guess every mercenary has a basket full of ninja stars. You don't. I had one a long time ago. I don't know what I did with it, but he goes in and he starts grabbing all kinds of little ninja weapons. Back at the apartment, he got Lakis and his crew and the three hostages.

and they're just waiting for Shill to get there so he can kill him so he gets somebody knocking out of the door and then they go they kind of get her to go with Jane to get over there and answer and he's always

Shale and these guys are like who's Shale or Shire what the fuck do you say his name Shiel or whatever Shale and they're kind of like who's he? He goes Oh, you're just a friend of mine.

Because they only know him as Mr. Smith. So he's kind of like, hey, he goes, I brought you something from Smith. So they're like, all right. So she goes and he's bringing up a package to the door. The doorbell rings. Lockes looks through the people, but all we see is the top of Shell's head. And he's holding this big wrapped gills. gift in front of the people.

So he tells her, hey, just, just open the door and take it. And then he comes in, Ola, and he's got a gun in there. He starts blasting fools. Lachis runs up behind him with a cattle prod, gets him in the back. Jane tries to get into it, but they knock her down. And Locust, who the fuck are you? And Jane tries to get in, like, leave him alone. But then Lachis turns around.

slaps her and then she goes fall into the ground and he's yelling at jane like who is he and then she tells them oh he's a he's a murk and he's like you hired a murk and she's just kind of like yeah so he's like all right man somebody give me a phone so back at the uh i guess the fruit stand that they were at i assume johnny glain johnny owns this place because he's uh they're there they're in the back and they're talking to uh wolfson and he's telling him uh what happened well what's going down what uh shell told him and uh they're asking him like well what did you what did you tell him and he's like i what do you think he goes do you think i'd still be standing here telling you this if if i told him anything and then they're

like, alright, so they're kind of just looking around. But, uh, they get a phone call. Uh, wait a minute. What the fuck happened?

Oh, um, he gets a phone call. Uh, Johnny Glade picks up and it's, um, what's his nuts? Lakis. And he's telling them,

he's telling them that what they, who they have at, at the apartment and then uh go johnny glades is like look man he goes look i don't care who he is but when we hang up you kill his ass so he's like all right so uh lockus is uh putting on his little silencer back on his gun and uh shills laying on the ground and uh he's about to shoot him but then uh somebody starts knocking on the door again and it's uh they're not sure who it is well he goes well who is it and uh it was the landlady or the manager or whatever she comes like what's going on here what's all this noise and she's like oh no i just had the tv on it's okay so everyone's kind of like

turning their their heads over to the door um shield kind of pulls out his little uh ninja throwing dart or whatever uh out of his heads uh his sleeve he stabs the guy that's in front of him in the leg he gets up stabs another dude grabs his gun starts shooting everybody uh in the room uh lockus grabs jane like here you better drop that gun or he's gonna she's gonna die so shill puts his gun down and he's getting ready to shoot they're both looking at each other and then he uh telling him like look man just just stand back so he pulls he lets jane go and he's about to shoot shill And boom, he gets blasted. Lockes gets shot in the side.

And Jerome, he, he was tied up on the couch. He kind of gets up, takes the gun from one of the other dudes that's laying there dead, and then shoots Lockees and kills him. I thought this was weak. He gets taken out by Jerome. It was barely in the movie. Well, he's doing it. thing. She'll have been dead if Jerome

didn't step in because he was point blank pointing at him. Yeah, it's just kind of a main bad guy gets taken out by somebody that's hardly in the movie. And from what we've seen, they didn't really have no problems with each other. Yeah. So he's dead. Jane runs over to

Jerome trying to comfort him. And Lisa's telling them like, look, hey, man, we, we're looking, I was looking for you and I needed to tell you that they're bringing in drugs and buses to the school. And she goes, look, they killed Sherman. So that's why I'm here to tell you. So all right. So everyone, the kids are safe. Jane's good. He's like, all right, look, we're going to go do our thing. And you stay home and I'm going to go do this. She kind of didn't want him to go. But he's like, like, I got this two. late. I got to do this. So it's kind of like, all right. So he gives up. He gets all his gang. Johnny Glades and Rolay and

who was the other white dude? Oh, Janice? Yeah. The guy with the highlight reel. Yeah. Oh, they hired him. Okay. Oh, he's the the Merck.

The Merck. Yeah. this real tape director does rock videos they go out to the front of the little fruit stand store and we see lockus and one of his guys

dead in the car that somebody brought up and just left it there and it's right on the somebody wrote on the windshield dealer special 95 BMW fully loaded so they're kind of looking at it like all right so they figure out what's happening oh uh one of their cell phones the guy dead guys in the car start ringing or the the not cell phone the car phone and they're

telling them they look uh it's one of their lookouts uh johnny glaze lookouts call him say hey man they saw shell and some other guys uh going to the school so the like all right cool well just keep a lookout and we'll get there so outside uh as a school everybody's gearing up for war you got uh what was um louise guzman's name in this ram yeah yeah ram is on the roof uh joey six is lurking in the bushes they're down in the um the auto shop and uh what was um hollin he blows open he blows off the lock to the little floor thing and it's just full of coke so they start pulling it out and throwing it on the ground uh rem is up on the roof and he's telling them yeah someone's coming so get ready so everyone's like all right cool

here we go time to time to do it and then uh fuck what happens oh all the get there's There's what four of them? Yeah. J 26 rim, the black guy, I can't remember his name, and Holland. Well, there's five of them plus the Schill. So they're like, all right, they're gearing up and they're ready. Roll A and Johnny Glades and his gang come rolling up into the school. Schill starts telling them, all right, man, that's enough.

And he's telling them like, all right, man, because you guys are done. And he's, um, these guys just want their drugs. They don't care. And, uh, he's kind of asking, well, what do you want? And he goes, well, we want everything. But then we, all of a sudden, we start to see a whole crew of, uh, that Merck for hire and his gang. They're all kind of creeping in through the back and the cut. So these guys are already in the, they're ready for battle.

And they start talking them. and he's telling he's telling of roy is telling him what they're doing like the the bus light is bringing it in all the drugs KOD is selling it for us and everything's all good that's how we're making this money but uh they're starting to look around see what's going on um ram up on the roof he's looking around because he got the night vision on he's telling him look man there's a sniper uh in the trees but right when he says that um um, Shill looks at his buddy behind him and there's a red dot on his forehead,

but he holds up his, the butt of his rifle and boom, blocks the bullet. And then this is when the, the fire, the firefight starts. These guys come rolling up. Everybody has,

uh, suppressors on their guns. Because all you're hearing is the, and these guys are like fully automatic, uh, machine guns. So there's a big shootout. you got uh shill and his gang in the school uh the murk for hires in the back and they're coming around the front

uh johnny glades and rolet are shooting so they're like all right we we got to do this now um ram up on the roof is he's he's scouting the whole thing out telling him like look there's more guys coming hauling is still down holland is still down in the auto shop i didn't get this part I understand though he's down there hooting and hollering and dancing and going woo-woo and dancing

and I get it I mean about to kill some Indian guys some swamp Indians so Rem is up on the roof letting everyone know that all these guys are coming in so they all get into the school

Joey 6 is hiding in the office and he's getting ready for action so they go charging into the into the office and they start shooting Joey six hits the deck and they're just shooting everything in there all the the desks the things on the wall everything Joey six jumps out to one of the other side doors and just does blasting all the dudes that are in the hallway uh, Schill and what was a black guy's name?

He's the only one I don't know. Was it, Wellman? Um, yeah, Wellman. I'll go with that. Wellman was played by Richard Brooks.

Okay. Well, Well, Wellman, he's in a hall. He's firing and shooting up fools. Um, he ran out of ammo for his machine gun. So he just got his little sidearm now.

Shill is shooting and blasting fools. All these Merks are running around shooting at them. They're starting to throw grappling hooks onto the roof. Ram is up on the roof starting to blast fools from the top. But the Merks kind of flank them from the back. They come up on the other side of the roof. So he's running and hiding. Joey Six is running around trying to grab more ammo from somebody.

And I don't know where he got this rocket launcher from. but he pulls this big giant rocket launcher and blast these fools down the hall and I like how they shoot this when the little rocket is all hell of slow these two fools were hiding behind a skinny-ass little wood locker and he hits it with the with the with the rocket launcher and they go boom they go flying so I assume they're dead Johnny Glades is downstairs and he tells those guys the Merck dudes to open up the little metal thing where they were hiding all the coke

and they open it up as soon as they open up it's booby trap blows up coke's all in the air Holland comes out of the darkness and boom boom so he kills all the Merks and then he walks up to Johnny Glades kicks him in the face he falls down what was a black guy's name again uh whatever it was Welman Okay, Wilman. He's in one of the classrooms. Some Merck's come in. He kicks their ass really fast. He grabs one of their guns. And he goes walking out into the hallway. He sticks his head out the door. he shoots Wellman in the head and kills him So They're still running around trying to look for everybody The main Merk for hire dude with the with the real or whatever He's walking around Looking for everyone

Who was about 20 guys showed up Before with this fool? Because he had hell of guys Because Johnny Glade had his guys And you had some COD guys and then I think Rolley had like his little security team. Okay. So that fool goes into

the classroom and sees Schill's little video screen that has all the links to all the cameras. He walks in and sees it and then Schill is up hiding in a because it's like a window sill or something so he shoots um he blasts uh that fool janis yeah oh no no he doesn't since you i can't remember if he shoots him oh he walks up to him and he tells him to read the

uh read the board so he jumps down and he's talking shit to him he tells him to put his gun down so he puts his gun down and he's got his little machine gun that fool turns around really fast with a side arm but then shield starts lighting him up up on the roof

Rem is trying to get handle these fools but he gets blasted in the leg and one of the the Merks comes up walking on him Rem kind of gets to his feet he gets a couple more shots into him

and he goes down and this mercenary guy walks up on him and uh ram he just kind of rolls forward he pulls a grenade out of his little pouch or whatever and he pulls the pin and he's laying there acting like he's dead and that murk guy grabs him

and then uh ram kind of opens his eyes and he grabs the murk dude and then he goes boom and then the whole he could have he could have lived yeah it looks like he just got shot in the leg and in the arm so but yeah it made it seem like he had fatal wounds yeah so um holland is down there talking shit to johnny glades johnny glades is uh he's on his knees with his hands behind his bat or sitting indian style quotes and it's sitting in a pile of coke and

Holland is talking to other shit to Johnny Glades and then all of a sudden he gets shot in the shoulder in his Rolley he shoots him so he goes down Shilma shows up

he goes down into the auto shop Johnny Glades and Ralee got their guns back Shill's walking around looking for him Holland is laying they're dead and okay so the black guy's dead rams dead

shill and uh johnny six are the only ones that are left so they're kind of walking around looking for him but uh shillman turns uh he kind of cuts the power so he goes walking into the into the room and then he turns on uh one of the headlights to the uh on the car and tells those guys to drop their weapons so he walks up on them and he kicks their guns out of the way.

Johnny Glades grabs, I don't know, some kind of tool or whatever, hits Schillman's gun out of his hands, and then Rolley gets into action, and they start fighting. They're knocking each other down, punching. Rolley throws a handful of Coke into Schill's face, and then they start boxing it up. Doesn't he call him like a frost-covered Indian or something? Johnny Glade shoots

a shillman in the shoulder he goes down and then all of a sudden Bam! Johnny Glade gets shot and Holland kind of came back to life for a second just in time to kill Johnny Glades and then he falls over

and he ends up dead. So Rolley took off and the shillman goes walking down the hall looking for him. Rolley's hiding behind a corner with a fire extinguisher and he's looking and shills just kind of walking looking around for him and um he's waiting for him to come he kind of sees his reflection uh in the in the window so he comes around a corner hits shillman with the fire extinguisher he goes down shillman gets back up they start fighting in the hallway slamming roly against uh the pillar then slams them into one of the trophy

cases and he's Shilman's trying to tell Rolay get up but Rolet grabs a gun really fast. Wait, what does he say? Oh, he grabs a gun and sticks it in his face and he's telling him, you're not but a mercenary

looking out for money like everyone else. And then he's telling him, he's asking him, it's not for the money. And then Rolet's like, well, if it's not for the what is it for? And he goes, look, I try to explain it to you claude he goes there's some things that that they're meant to be and then he uh shill does the um that kill move word uh with the palm of his hand jits oh like bruce willis did and uh

last boy scout yeah and the way uh was nicholas cage's name and uh conair Poe. Yeah, the way he hits that dude in the beginning and kills him. Your hands are lethal weapons. He shoves his, basically shoves his nose bone into his brain

and kills him. So he goes falling down and he's dead. So Shillman comes walking out of the school. Joey 6 is laying there. on the stairs he was getting ready to shoot shillman when he kids walking out and they're the last two

standing and uh joey's kind of like man i thought you were dead and he goes eh i'm i'm all right so they kind of just like okay he told them that yeah he lets him know that everyone's dead or we're the only ones left did um jane says she was going to leave him if he goes and did all this I don't think so because yeah that after he left her we don't see her because these two kind of get up

and basically all right well what he says oh he goes what are you just going to stand there bleeding and making a mess so he kind of walks over and picks up Joey 6 and he goes here

the cops are here they're coming he goes what are we can do now and he goes all right well let's just get out of here and telling me yeah we're just going to relocate and get out of here and yeah it's just

we'll see we'll find out what's going on maybe we'll go to another school or whatever they was telling them and they go walking down the street and that's her movie so I mean I assume somebody called the cops because they never

they never came well I'm sure after the rocket launchers somebody calls somebody because this school's like right in the neighborhood. It's not like it's in the middle of nowhere. So, but yeah, the camera's pulling back. You're seeing dead bad guys and mercenaries in the street laying there. And I'm sure there's some dead ones on the roof and in the bushes.

And got a dead Indian with coke all over them down in the auto shop. Those two, they're walking down the road. They get into a car and they're driving off. And then here come the cops, finally. They come pulling up, running over to check the dudes that are laying on the ground. Then a couple cops go running into the school. And yeah, that's the movie. But that was the substitute, everyone.

I still love this movie. It's dated. It's 90s, but it was an awesome film, man. And that was everybody. That's what we got in, what was it, 96? is that I just said, yeah, 96. And there's three more movies after this.

Substitute two schools out. Is it all Treat Williams? Yeah, and then substitute three, winner takes all, and then substitute failure is not an option. Yeah, that's the one I haven't seen.

and it looks like Tubi has it's got Patrick Kill Patrick he must be the villain yeah Toby's got

all of those three I think Prime had a couple of them I'm not really sure They're off prime now Oh okay well then Tubi's the all-star Tooby has everything
