Hello, Tony.
Long time, no C.
Hey, man, get out of here.
Come on.
Listen to me!
It wasn't my fault.
There was nothing else I could do.
Cain, I had to do it.
Listen to me.
You and your partner is nothing I could do.
They used me.
I was just a bait.
They were on to you.
They knew all about you.
Who are they, Tony?
I can't tell you know that.
I can't.
Baby, I need some passion tonight.
I'm coming at you with the 1981 rated our action thriller an eye for an eye
Meet the professor the professor has quite a way
They're delicious like no other man but neither is Chuck Norris in an eye for an eye
Chuck Norris doesn't need a weapon he is weapon
in an eye for an eye rated R an eye for an eye now playing at a theater near you
Sean Keene is a San Francisco cop whose partner is murdered by an Oriental drug ring
when his superiors takes him off the case Kane quits his job and sets out to
exact revenge okay what's Google what
IMDBF to say for itself.
An SFPD undercover
narcotics cop
aims to avenge his partner's death
and destroy a rug smuggling
ring operated by
the Chinese triads.
This is directed by Steve
Carver
written by James Burner and
William Gray.
And this stars the late
and great Chuck Norris
is Sean Kane
the late Christopher Lee
aka Count Duku
Darth Horanus
and Count Dracula
and a ton of other things
I think it was Frankenstein's monster as well
I think that was
Frankenstein's revenge
or revenge of Frankenstein I don't know one of those
old school Hammer films
awesome film you guys haven't seen it anyway
also
The Great
Shaft
you damn right
and late
Richard Roundtree
As well
As
Mark
Matt Clark
As Tom
McCoy
I believe he is also
Yes rest in peace
And
Maco
As James Khan
Chan
I'm sorry
James Khan
Rest in peace
Mako
He is well
Passed in 2006
Maggie Cooper
Also deceased
as Heather, Heather Sullivan, and the beautiful Rosalind Chow.
She plays Linda Chan and the great professor Toro Tanaka as the professor, rest in peace.
And a ton of other people in this film.
Okay.
Let me see, there was another storyline I wanted to read.
It's the same thing as the other one.
But this one, I for an eye.
What is the poster say?
What makes an ex-cop take the law into his own hands?
Chuck Norris in eye for an eye.
This movie I had seen,
it was 1981, it was in the theater.
I can't remember if it was the main feature,
because I know it was a double feature
with another action film.
karate film which I cannot remember so I'm pretty sure this was the new film that we
had went and seen Chuck Norris coming into my life mainly because of Bruce Lee from
well back then it was called Return of the Dragon now it's Way of the Dragon which I
probably I think it was the the original title but anyway so that's how Chuck Norris
came into my life was through Bruce Lee so I'm like oh this guy's cool cool white guy kicking
ass fought Bruce Lee
well he lost it but
I was like all right cool and then so
then I started seeing
his name I was really paying attention
to that name because I always thought Chuck Norris
was an awesome name
so I'm like all right cool let me
let me see what else he's got
so as the 80s
rolled on he was
pumping out
movies left
and right I mean he rolled into
the 90s as well
but I was like
damn who is this this dude is everywhere
majority of his films after
no no no no
um
after the way of the dragon
I've seen but not like
uh like all the way through
because he was coming out with movies
because yeah after way of the dragon
return the dragon his name came out to me
so I was like okay there was a movie called breaker breaker
I saw some of it because for many of my stories
My parents took us to the drive-in
And I was always look over on the next screen
To see what was playing
So pretty much all I think all the movies before iPhone
I for an iPhone and I was probably the first one that I'd seen in the theater
After that I've seen everything that this man put out
Because after break of breaker
Good guys wear black I do want to do that one
That one I just remember seeing the commercial
The TV ad
as he's running and jumping and kicks this guy through a windshield.
I remember,
oh, that looks awesome.
We went to the movies for whatever,
and I looked over on the next screen and good guys where Black was playing.
So I was like, oh, man, this is awesome.
Saw the majority of the film did not hear one word of dialogue.
All right, next, 79, a force of one.
I remember seeing bits and pieces of it.
I really don't remember.
I had seen it after that, but these are all the first times that I've seen this.
the octagon which came out in 1980
the beginning of his
80s reign of terror
the octagon
I
I know I snuck in and saw the end
at the theater
I can't remember what I went to go see
but I remember seeing the octagon was playing
upstairs so I went up there and I caught the end
and I didn't see the rest of the movie
until it came on TV
next year
an eye for an eye
came out and I was like all right
This is what I want to go see.
So I believe my brother and I went and seen it.
And we just like, oh man, this is awesome.
Mainly because this story took place in the Bay Area, where I'm from, Oakland, represent.
This all took place in San Francisco, mainly in the downtown area and around the prosidio area that's close to the Golden Gate Bridge.
I'll get into more of the 80s goodness.
as we roll along with Chuck Norris.
But anyway, an eye for nigh.
This movie was cool.
I just remember.
I remember the trailer or the TV ad and everything.
I don't remember ever seen like a trailer when I went to the movie theater.
But the trailers, I'm on IMDB, and the trailer's playing right now.
And like all the trailers that DeZEZE and I complain about on the East Society, they show the end.
so basically the final
kick in this
in this movie
I was like wait
but
well I guess they've been doing it way back since in the early
80s and I'm sure they did it in the
70s and everything but this one
this movie yes
Chuck Norris
Sean Kane
he's a San Francisco police officer
and going he's undercover
narcotics officer he goes to look
for these
shady guys in
I believe
Chinatown
and San Francisco
this movie
just made me miss
San Francisco and the Bay
I mean all these movies
that they take place
in the Bay Area
but I remember
taking my kids
to Chinatown
one summer on their
spring break
which we're on right now
I took them to
Chinatown
because they love Chinese food
and they've only had
the best
that my area has
which is the middle
of nowhere
which is good
not saying it's not good
but um we flew down in san francisco for the day i worked for an airline before you guys think i'm a
high roller i'm not anyway so we flew down there we went to chinatown showed them all the things
they've never seen before and we went to a restaurant so but some of those spots that i'd showed them
were shown uh in this film they show a lot every time they film films in in chinatown san francisco
it's pretty much the main the key uh spots of chinatown the the statues the
the big thing you drive under.
I can't want to.
They also show it in big trouble
in Little China. But anyway, if you guys know that movie,
you don't talk about. Anyway, so
they go into this small little
shady little massage parlor type
of thing. Oh no,
it was like an old hotel. They go in there
and they're trying to find these
these drug guys. And then all
a sudden, uh,
they have another
undercover cop with them.
He goes in
to check it all out
and he notices that
the person they're looking for
he goes, oh, they're not here.
So he's like, all right, cool.
So they end up leaving.
But then they come across
guys that, more shady looking dudes.
So they're like, oh, what's going on here?
And then all hell breaks loose.
So they all kind of make a run for it.
And then while they're out in the
in the alley
the guys that are coming after them
they get into like
a quick little small little firefight
then there's some
some hands thrown
and all during this all this time that it's going on
it's raining
so they're kind of like
all right him and his partner
is
what's his name
he is
he's a somebody
he's um bernie lomax from uh weekend at bernies what the heck is the name terry is a kisser i think that's a name plays dave pierce uh it's his partner they're kind of they're looking around they don't see anything but when they're in the alley uh this is when they find out that there's some stuff going on so they're not really sure exactly what's happening other than they were looking for someone who was supposed to do it oh the um the other undercover officer
that was with them he kind of just basically lured them into the into the alley and then all of a sudden
these guys come out there's a firefight uh he's only Bernie in my eyes Bernie gets blasted
and then he ends up getting pinned between these two cars and he gets killed and the the car
the car when the car slams into him pins him in between another car explodes uh Bernie gets burnt up
and Shane goes running after the guys that killed him.
Because there's a bunch of dudes and everyone goes running off.
But he lures one guy.
He chases one guy up into this room and starts asking him questions.
Like, who is this?
What's that?
What's going on here?
And then he doesn't say nothing.
And he ends up Chuck Norris kind of gives him a right cross.
And then push, he goes flying out the window.
So he sees his buddy's dead.
All the police are there.
Richard Roundtree is only shaft in my eyes.
Shaft shows up.
He starts yelling at what the hell is going on?
Why are you doing it?
We're trying to do this, but you're messing it all up.
And Shane gets so mad because they're not really concerned about his partner.
So he kind of like, you know what?
Here's my badge.
If you guys, I'm out.
So he's kind of like, okay.
So he is more than the loss of his buddy
And then he
Starts to talk to
He knows there's something going on
So he starts talking to
Bernie's girlfriend
Her name is Linda Chan
Played by the beautiful Rosa Linda Chow
She's been in a ton of things
But we're back in the day
Not sure if she's still acting today
But anyway
So he's kind of talking to her
Like yeah I think there's something going on
And
She knows
something's going on but she's not really saying exactly what so he's kind of and she's a a news reporter
for the local San Francisco news and she's trying to uncover some stuff and they're not really
sure so if we see her she is in the BART station in San Francisco downtown San Francisco
I think it was around the from what I from what I can gather watching this was from the
the Embarcadero station but this is
is when we get the professor.
He comes
running after her.
If you guys know who he is, he was
an awesome wrestler back in the day, and
he started doing
action martial arts movies.
He was also in
the running man, the original running man.
I want to say he was
was he sub-zero?
Was that his, is that who he? Yeah, he was
sub-zero in the running
man. Also, he was
the
Butler in Peewee's Big Adventure
Francis
when Peewee goes to the door knocking
and he opens up the door
and also he does
he does a dive into the
swimming pool
when he tries to break over the door
so he was
that that guy
I've always liked
the professor
Professor Toro Turo
Tanaka
he always reminded me
of my uncle Robert
and I remember watching this movie
for the first time i kind of leaning over to my brother and go hey that looks like uncle robert so we
would always laugh about that but anyway so professor and some other henchmen they're all running after
um linda so she's just trying to get away and stay at this kind of this point we know she knows something
that uh has to deal with her boyfriend's death but we're not really sure so she kind of makes it uh
runs away from them runs out on the street jumps to attack
taxi cab and then takes off and we're not really sure exactly what's happening she makes it back to
her apartment and then she she's holding she has this like a little key it's a little red key
okay for you old schoolers oh yeah she made it back to her apartment when she got there when we
see the key that we see that the uh the professor and some other henchmen are at her apartment
already.
So really quick.
For you old schoolers from the Bay,
you really, really old schoolers that are probably
older than me or my age.
Back in the day,
they used to have
lockers, barstation lockers, like they had
at train stations and airports
and all that, but with
the way the world's going, got rid
of all that. Anyway,
because at first I remember seeing the key,
I've not seen this movie in a really long time.
But when the key pops up,
I was like, whoa, those look like.
And then they mentioned that it was a key for a Bartlocker.
I was like, oh, my God, cool.
Super flashback for me.
Anyway, so we see that she gets, basically gets murdered by these henchmen.
And they tear apart her house and everything.
And Sean finds out, so he goes over there.
And then he goes to the sea.
The cops are already there.
Her upstairs neighbor, what the heck was her name, Heather Sullivan,
she was really close to her.
And she kind of tells them, I came down to get something,
and I found her like this.
And what they did was, I mean, these guys, they murdered her because we see it.
But then they also, they set it up as to where she had hung herself.
So they're like, all right.
So the cops are kind of like, well, that's all pretty much.
we can do but Shane is not Shane was Sean he is not having it he's still trying to figure out
All right my buddy's dead now his girlfriend's dead and we don't know what the hell's going on
Obviously he kind of thinks it was maybe it was the case that what they were working
But they're not really sure so they end up uh he goes Shane goes to the coroner's office to see uh linda's body
and then they find out that like uh i don't think she
hunger self because this broke that broke all these bones and vertebraes or whatever in her neck
and they're saying like yeah this how they found her isn't isn't the cause of her death so now
he's really getting pissed because he's seeing flashbacks of his buddy laying they're dead in the
in the in the alleyway and everything and then the cops are still kind of like hey man we got it we
got it so Shane is kind of like all right man I need uh some to clear my head so he goes to see
uh Mako James Chan was basically uh Linda's dad and he's kind of just going over to give to give
him his condolences of uh all right then Miko's her dad linda's dad is kind of like
Miko was um the the wizard in the conan series in the the first two and he was also in a
another Chuck Norris movie. What that was that movie? It was him. And sidekicks. He was also that guy
that was also training them. And oh, I cannot remember that gentleman's name. Rest in peace to him too.
But yeah, he was that guy and sidekicks. For those of you that remember that film, I think Brian and I did
do that one. But anyway, so he's mad. He wants to know what's going on. And Sean's kind of like,
all right man well we'll we'll figure it out so what those two do is they go and they go to
the uh i think it was the the bosses layer no no no um damn i can't remember where where they went
they went to no no no i'm sorry they're at i'm jumping ahead to the edge they went to um
they're at uh linda's uncle's house or dad's house and he's got this nice house
that overlooks the Golden Gate Bridge and the Pacific Ocean and part of the bay.
It's more on the Pacific Ocean side, on the coastline.
So while they're there, well, Sean was going there.
There was this helicopter following them, and he doesn't really know what's going on.
But then we turned out that it's these, it's a triad kill force or something,
because they try to kill Sean, and they're trying to kill Linda's dad.
And all these dudes come in the house and machine guns.
can't shoot, even when they're standing two feet in front of you.
And so they end up killing all of them, those two.
Chuck Norris springs into action.
Linda's dad springs into action.
He's kicking ass.
Chuck Norris is kicking ass doing his classic spin kicks, which we all love.
And we always can't wait to see every time he starts kicking ass, some slow motion and everything.
So they end up killing all of these dudes.
and then after there they
they pull up the sleeve
of one of the guys and they see that he's got
a triad tattoo
on his arm. One of the dudes
was still alive but then
they were like well he's not going to talk
he'll die before he says anything
so Sean is kind of like
all right well we know who's doing this now
and they still don't know why
so he's kind of like
all right so he ends up kind of going
to the TV station
he had already met
Linda's co-worker
Heather
and she's kind of like
yeah I mean we both worked
at the same station
and if you ever have any questions
man I feel free
so they go over there
and what he notices
that other than Linda had
all kinds of
recording equipment in her house
this is back of the day
when cassette tapes ruled
anyway
so when he notices
all that then he notices
okay she was a reporter on TV
and Heather was showing him
all kinds of
of older footage of of Linda and then he's kind of watching it and this old
she was doing a story on some kind of shipping shipyard thing and when she's
walking down the the lane there's a guys in the background and they see the
they see the dude from the beginning of the film that double-crossed
Shane and his partner so he's kind of like looking for him
That's who he was looking for after all this because he's the one to set them all up.
So he ends up going to some massage parlor and finds out that he's there.
And then he's basically saying, I can't tell you anything.
If I tell you something, they're going to kill me and all of this.
But Chuck Norris, Sean, he don't care.
He ends up kind of beating the shit out of him.
Oh, but before all that, the great Christopher Lee, Morgan Canfield, I believe his name.
he is the one that runs the the TV station so he knows that Sean's there and he's kind of realizing
all right man this guy's poking his nose where it doesn't belong because I mean we all if you know
Christopher Lee he's always the bad guy so we know as the audience we know that he's a part of
what's going on so he kind of has Sean come up to his office and he talks to him basically
all right well I'm here you need anything um
I can help you.
So they got some more lead, Sean, and what the hell is Miko's name?
James, James Chan, Linda's dad.
They go do some more rousing up.
They go to some other places, some guy.
This is a dude that's been in a ton of things.
He's always a funny guy.
Stuart Pankin.
He plays Nikki LaBelle in this, some kind of pimp or something.
with a bunch of like a high class
ladies of the evening.
They kind of go there and they get into some more
scuffle with some stuff and get a little bit of answers
but not really.
So, oh, this is where they find
the guy that they were looking for
that double-crossed him in the beginning of the movie
and that's when he was telling him, yeah, I can't tell you guys
but then he ends up kind of just beating the hell out of him.
So they're like, okay,
they're starting to
put more things together. Still, they don't
what's going on. They don't know nothing about the key yet, um, as well as, uh, Heather.
Because, uh, Heather gets, she's gotten involved now. She comes home. Her house is ram-sacked.
So they're kind of like, oh, man, what's going on here? So she's like, I don't know. And he,
and Sean is kind of like, well, do you know what she was doing? What, what kind of story she was doing
before? And she's like, nah, I, I don't know. So they're like, all right. So he goes, like,
you know what? Why don't you come to my house? My house is probably like the safest place.
place in town and you don't have to worry just pack a bag and let's go so they kind of go they do
their little thing kind of get to know each other uh sean wakes up in a cold sweat uh because he
has a nightmare uh about uh what's going on what have to seeing his friend die and seeing his
friend's uh girlfriend's body in the morgue and then heather comes in and ba-to-boom ba-da-bing
they do their thing and then they wake up the next morning and do it again and
And so they're like, all right, well, we're done.
We did round one and two.
So now we're going to go do some detective work.
So they ended up going to the actual ship that Linda was talking about.
And they're kind of doing some reconnaissance that's not very good because they're trying to be all sneaky with binoculars.
But we got the guys on the ship watching them, watch them and all of this.
And so Sean's kind of, all right.
I think I know what's going on.
I need to get on that ship, but you can't be here.
So he ends up taking her home.
And he's like, you know what?
Just stay here when I leave lock up.
And his house is like a fortress.
It's got barred gates over the doors and windows and everything.
And he lives somewhere along the bay because he's got a boat.
So whatever he does, I assume he made tons of money being a detective.
I don't know what they make.
But anyway, so he gets to the boat.
He goes in there and he does some snooping around.
kicks a little ass for a little bit but he finds out what's going on in this ship and that's
where I am going to end this review because if you guys have not seen this film I highly
recommend it it is on YouTube for those of you that have YouTube premium but it looks
like somebody did put it up for free on there because
Yeah, it is
Shout Studios.
Go to that page.
It is on there.
So this is the 1981.
Chuck Norris,
not the 1996 one with Sally Field,
Ed Harris,
and Kiefer Southern.
That's a good movie too,
but it's not that one.
So, but yeah,
so it's up there for free,
for free.
And I believe it is also on
Toby and
Fossum,
whatever that is.
Yeah, Tooby,
Roku Channel, Pluto TV,
all of those are free.
So,

the ads.
So, but,
