Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, welcome to another episode of the wrestling returns. Nexty War Games, 2021. Back again with another episode of The Wrestling Returns. I'm your host, Brian, with me as always. It's my brother Nez. What's on, man? Oh, man, I'm good. Man, this was better than Survivor Series.

I just fear when they move these guys up, they bury him. And then it just turns to nothing. But I was watching this live while I was at work. And I was hooting and hollering and screaming. Everyone kept coming over. You're all right. I said I'm watching wrestling. And they just roll her eyes.

But man, I love NXT. I mean, it's better out of the three brands. And women, men. go hard as fuck on this. So it's they left some blood and I'm not really sure on

what happened to what's or nuts but we'll get there in a second. But what did you think of the whole thing? Entertaining as always. They usually do show up the whatever the main show's pay-per-view is very interested

to see where a lot of people go after this it kind of look like a kind of a sending off for for a few wrestlers so um yeah ready to get dive into this and discuss it all right we can kick it off with the the women's war game match um awesome uh i'm i'm all about dakota kai but uh she did her team didn't pull it out but um um um She needs to cut her hair shorter because it was like all over the place. And this is just me. I mean, I love her. I love the pink hair, but it was just getting a little too wild.

I mean, I don't know how these gals can do it. I mean, I'm a guy with long hair, and I don't think I could be flipping, flying all over the place with it in my face. But damn, these gals went hard. We had, what were they called? The toxic attraction. Yeah. the other ones

um Dakota Guy and uh Mandy Rose it was just their crew yeah but it was Raquel Gonzalez

E.O. Shirai Korah J. Kaylee Ray versus Mandy Rose Gigi Dalling uh JCP excuse me

ooh oh man these winter allergies uh Jesse Jane and Dakota Kai Um, Kaylee Ray and Dakota Kai started it out. And I love it when they have the two rings together and they just go back and forth.

And it's pretty much, uh, no holds barred. Uh, everything counts. Anything goes. And these gals, they tore the house down. Everybody tore the house down. But, I mean, to kick this off right in the beginning of them just beating the hell at each other. It's kind of like, uh, if you guys, 17 war games.

It's kind of like an elimination chamber type of deal. It starts off with two. Then every five minutes, another wrestler comes in. And then until it actually, the war game doesn't actually start until all, what was it? So eight women are in the ring,

in the two rings. I like to, I like to where they placed the cells, where they were keeping everybody before they came in the ring. they must really tell everyone look keep your masks on because these guys are going to be running through the crowd so it was cool I I love it when they have it in the studio because the studio is really small and there's only like a handful of people in there but it's still still enough to get everyone super duper hype but man it was it was nuts with these guys they were bringing everything out with the kitchen sink

man they brought the tables they put the kendo sticks the garbage cans skateboard at one point which I wish they would have used a little bit more but they didn't from a Cora J. Yeah. The crowd was doing her wrong.

You can't skate. Because you can tell when she usually rides it to the ring and you can kind of tell that's as much as she learned was to ride it that far. Enough to get to the ring. Yeah. She's not.

No Darby Allen, but No. He was, man, it was nuts, man. I mean, if you guys remember, I think it was, was it last war games when Eosuride dole off the top? Oh,

she put the trash can on top of her? Yeah. And I was waiting for more of that, but we didn't get any of it. But who got stuffed in the trash can and then Raquel, like, tossed him? Dakota Kai. Okay.

Yeah, because when Raquel Gonzalez came in, and she, she's a big gal. I mean, tall and she's pretty muscular. She came in, roughed up Dakota Kai. Raquel Gonzalez was the last one to come in.

And she threw Dakota Kai in one of those garbage cans, picked it up, twirled her around and then threw it. I mean, I was like, damn. I mean, they were getting jacked up.

Who was the one that jumped off the top and jacked her arm up? Uh, poor of Jade. Yeah. Do you think she really got hurt or was she just trying to play it off? I mean, she took most of the force. I mean, well, not took most of the force.

I think she was trying to go for like a like a swan ton bomb. Yeah, it was a little. Yeah, and then she slated directly on top of her. Because it looked like when she flipped off the top and when she landed like it looked like for me, it looked like for me. Maybe her chest down, hit. Who was on the table? It was, uh,

damn, it was one of toxic attraction, I think. Yeah, I'm trying to look to see. Um, okay, says Jay dislocated her shoulder, but I don't know if that was real. But anyway, oh, um, Jay took out her huge center on. Okay, J.C. Jane, uh, says,

up next and she grabbed the table bringing it into the ring the baby faces set her up on the table and Cordjid took her out with a huge centaur from the top of the cage. All right. So when she climbed up there and then did that flip like her

like I said from the chest down hit hit the opponent on the table and it looks like her shoulder she didn't like do she did a full flip but it looks like she came down sideways yeah it didn't I don't know when she had climbed up there and she was setting herself, I was kind of scared because it just, I don't know.

There's something about the way she jumped. Yeah. I don't think it went as how she wanted it to go. No, I don't know if she was thinking about it, but it was too late. She was up there and she did it. But she, to me, the way it looked to me, like she came down sideways and didn't, didn't do it all the way. But if her shoulder came out, I mean, I don't know. I kind of think she did hurt herself because when everyone got over into the,

to the ring off to the left, if you're watching it on the screen. And she was off in the corner on the other ring. And you could see all the officials that jumped in there that were talking to her. So I didn't know if she really did get hurt. But I kept going because she was really baby in that shoulder. And this part was funny because when she got over back, when she got back into the action, Iosurai grabbed her, her arm and put her foot on her body and was trying to pop it back in the place. And unless it was all just a part of the show.

I don't know really, but I mean, to me, I was like, man, you're just going to make it worse. Yeah, I think it was part of his storyline because it was me. I want medical to come look at my dislocated shoulder. I don't want to E.O. Charade and just come pop it back in for me. But yeah, man, that was probably the big move of that matches when she came off. She had landed right and it would have just kept going. It would have been awesome. But it was still an awesome match.

And I give it up to Cora Jade. I wouldn't jump off that thing. Much less do a flip on to somebody. Oh man, it was nuts, man. I mean, when these gals left, man, they were all tired. And I'm sure when you go to the back after the match is done, you're probably like, ah, because they were getting hit with everything. Other than just getting slammed off. I loved when they were trying to do, I think it was one of those super, what do you call it?

a suplex, two women. But was it Raquel who grabbed all of them and threw them off? Yeah. It was like four of them up there. No, it was like three. I think it was three up on the ropes. And then Raquel came and slammed all of them down. How tall is she?

Do you know? I think I'm rich. She's like 6.3 or 6.4. Yeah, that's a big gal. I wouldn't want to walk up on her. and try to fight. She knocked me out. But, oh, man. It was awesome. I couldn't

believe how awesome they went. And Mandy Rose, I didn't really care for her, but I like this dark hair now. Yeah, I don't know what it is. Because when she did the dark hair, I was just kind of like, nope, not feeling it. But the more I see her, I'm just kind of like, okay, it's starting to grow on me

now. Um, I'm not a, I'm not going to say no to a blonde head beauty, but, uh, She had that long black hair. Yeah, I'm down. She's all right. I think she's the greatest in the ring. But, Eio Shirai, I thought she did.

I love her, period. She's badass, no matter what she, if she's doing singles or whatever. But it was cool to see them all teaming up and just beating the hell out of each other. But, yeah, the team of Raquel, Eos Shirai, Cota, Cora jade, and Kaylee Ray, they beat them all out. Kaylee Ray, man, she's badass too. It was very odd that she got placed on this because every time I've seen her, she's been a heel.

And I think there was a moment where they kind of made you think she was going to turn heel. And then they just didn't do anything about it. I don't know. It was just kind of weird kind of placing her in this match. Yeah, I love. loved everything about it, but I didn't like the very end. It seemed like someone must have told them, you guys are going too long.

And she did just ended because all the gals were all pretty much beat up laying there. And Cora Jade ran in a, and I can't remember who she pinned. But she was like still holding a shoulder. And the shoulder was all crazy. She just one, two, three. And it was all over with. But I mean, did you think the ending just seemed kind of rough? Like it was just they were kicking ass and next thing you know it was over.

Yeah, I'm looking at the time here. I guess it went over half an hour. So you might be right. Maybe the ref got something in his earpiece. I was like, got to end it. Got to end it. Yeah, because I mean, just the way it ended, everybody was laying there all beat to hell. And Coral J.

Just kind of like looking around and then just pins whoever was close to her. And that was it. I was like, all right, whatever. But it was still an awesome match. I'm on bleacherreport.com and they graded it a B minus. Now, I gave this match a A because I thought it was just tough. All right. The next one, Imperium versus Kyle O'Reilly and Von Wagner.

I hate Imperium, first of all. Fabian, is it Archer? or in in i can't remember never pronounce his last name uh whatever and yeah

so but um but man Kyle Kyle O'Reilly he's badass I mean I like him and Vaughn Wagner's just a big dude and they

they proved what they were supposed to do I mean they were getting the shit beating at him each other too and um Kyle uh Von Wagner, man, I mean, that fool was just, when they pick fools up and they slam them, I couldn't take that. Again, I've always said this, man, these men and women are basically stunt performers for all the stuff that they do, flipping or flying all over place and slamming themselves on the map. But when these fools get power slammed, like, hella hard, obviously they've done it a million times and they know how to land.

but I just like my neck starts a hurt when those guys' heads get whipped around but man and this one was pretty brutal but what did you think of this one? It was pretty good

from what I'm understanding this might be the last time we see Kyle O'Reilly. I don't know if that means an NXT or just period and I hope he stays he always goes hard he always puts a 100% into it.

Von Wagner, yeah, just a big powerful dude in there, slamming people. And Perium, not really a fan of. I do like Walter, but I haven't seen him with the Perium. I'm reading that Vince really likes him. I think they're trying to bring him up to the main roster. But, yeah, good hard-hitting match. Just waiting to see what happens with Kyle O'Reilly.

uh if they bring him up again don't bury him let him do what he what he does because when he's in the ring he kicks ass so uh if he's done in w a w i mean i say go there and and not prove to them uh that you can do it but i don't know but i mean overall this match was pretty awesome just um them going for it and just beating the shit out of each other for up and flying all over the place. But I enjoyed this one. This next one it was funny.

I like Cameron Grimes, but all right. I feel like they waste him. Yeah, they do. Versus Duke Hudson. Hair versus hair match. Whoever loses gets their head shaved. You knew Cameron Grimes

was going to win. Because that's where I was going for because they're not going to shave his luscious long hair so but what they call him you're talking about Duke Hudson

no Cameron Grimes something fuck I can't remember what they called him but man I mean I thought the match was funny I mean they did what they did in the ending yeah Cameron Grimes ended up

pulling it out, but, um, this one seemed like it was, it was kind of rushed as well. Yeah. I mean, I haven't been keeping up with the Cameron Grimes and I, I don't really know who Duke Hudson is. I know the crowd kept Chan, Duky or something like that. But I just didn't see the purpose of this, this match. And it, when it happened, it was, it was over as quick as. as it happened so yeah I mean there was a few times the fools he got slammed in the in the

center between the rings and um I don't know if it was metal or whatever but that that middle piece ain't got has no kind of give and uh fools will get slant on that yellow heart but um this was there was no cage or anything it was just them throwing each other around but when they have these two rings together it takes a lot of the space uh outside of the ring away because there was times look like when fool was jumping out they were getting too close i mean like the ones we can see not where the cameras are facing it looks like they when they got over on that side of the ray they had hell of room so but i mean this match was okay i mean uh cameron grimes ended up uh cutting some of duke uh hudson's hair but he he didn't do you

He just did like a couple. He had the clippers. He did like a couple swoops. And then he, he, he acted like he was knocked out and he was all dazed or whatever. I was like, come on.

Because when he snaps out of it and then, ah, jumps out of the ring. I was like, oh, whatever. But, I mean,

other than that little slapstick in this dumb thing at the end, I mean, I thought, I thought the match was good. All right. right uh rodrick strong taking on joe gacy for the cruiserweight championship um rogic strong is a champ and joe gacy i don't know what to think of him what do you what do you think of that guy uh i i i really don't know if that it seems like they're pushing him to be a heel

but i don't know what they're really doing with him and i i i don't know i need to see a little bit more from him. I didn't think he was going to take the belt here. I think it was a little too soon. But I just need to see more of him. This was a quick match. Kind of feel like they're kind of setting up

a match because Roger Strong is part of the diamond mine and they were out ringside and he kind of had a moment with, I think her name is Ivy Steel or something like that. The female. She looks scary. Yeah.

I'm going to call it here. I think he's going to have a match with her. Okay. Roger Strong, I like him. Joe Gacy, he's all right. I mean, who was that big dude that was with him? Harlan. Yeah.

I was waiting for him to step in and do something. But I don't know. I mean, yeah, the match, it went by pretty quick. I mean, it was like once it got gone, boom, boom, it was over. Roger Strong ended up pulling this out by hitting a backbreaker for the win. But it was what it was. It was still entertaining. I was hooting and hollering and all that.

But I don't know what they're trying to do with Joe Gacy. But we'll see for upcoming stuff. Was this like three hours, this whole pay-per-view? Maybe a little over two. All right, because we're already at the final match. So, um, the, the men's war game. Um, this one, oh, man, it was, it was pretty brutal. Um, oh, wait.

Her name's Ivy Nile. Okay. Ivy steel, I think, is a porn star. So don't, don't look up that one. Um, team 2.0 and, uh, team, uh, black and gold. um uh was it johnny gorgano um to tomaso champa uh pete dunn and um l a night your favorite guy he's good in the ring don't get me wrong but i hate him he just he gets on my nerves

that's another one that's just a weird placement in this group because like he's just been a straight heel since he's been there and then all of a sudden he's like a good guy now i don't know this is basically uh old school against a new school but um team 2 2.0 um i don't even have a list of who they all are uh bra braun breaker which is a fucking horrible name he should just be braun steiner uh carmillo hayes Grayson Waller and Tony DiAngelo. Yeah. This, I mean, again, they bring the cage down and just throw everything you can

in there. Tomaso Champa was actually the last one to come in, but Johnny Gargano and Camillo Hayes is the one that started it off, and I love Johnny Gargano. He was getting his ass beat, and he

He was on one of the Jew first blood because I don't know what happened. What happened to his forehead, but they were beating the hell out of him. Did they have, did Candace have their baby yet? I don't think so. Okay. She's still chilling at home, but, man, Pete Dunn, I can take him or leave him, but, man, he, he still does what he does. He was badass. L.A. night, yeah, he's brutal in the ring, but.

I don't know. He just seems more of a show off, if anything. But, I mean, that's his name, Ellie Knight. But I thought these guys went hell of hard. I mean, there was times where it looked like, other than Johnny Gargano getting that while, I thought he was going to get knocked out at something. I think out of everybody, was he the smallest one?

Or no, or no, it's Pete, Pete Dunn. Yeah, between him and Pete Dunn or probably the smallest two. But yeah, man. they were beating the hell out of each other during all this with everything I don't know where that chain came from it kind of came out of nowhere

they were wrapping each other up with that one but the funniest part they're dealing with the chain I can't remember who it was it was one of the 2.0 guys locked up the cage or was it one of them locked up the cage I can't remember I don't know when Braun couldn't get it open yeah first I understand

stand they brought out the bolt cutters trying to cut it open and the rest were trying but yeah they were they couldn't do it of course they couldn't but then if that was his uncle Scott he would just fucking tore that damn door off

what broad breaker came over trying to he couldn't even do it he was trying to be all rough and tough and couldn't do it then they finally eventually got it and then he ran into the I was laughing.

Yeah, I don't, I think it was just the bulk cutters. Because he had it on there and it just wouldn't, it wouldn't break. Yeah, it's just funny because he can't get the chain off that his own teammate put on there. But it was cool. I like the girls more. I thought they went harder during their war games. But these guys, I mean, Team 2.0 ended up pulling. and I was like, oh, I was like, all right, whatever.

Let the new blood have it. But, man, I mean, by the end, everybody was laying in the ring. Just beat the hell. So, but I thought it was a really good match to Tia and war games. Yeah, it was a, it was a great match. They're obviously going to, from here on out, I think they're going to push Bronn as a top star for NXT. I still need to see more of everybody else. Carmela Hayes is pretty good.

Did you see the thing with Johnny after? A little when he was addressing the crowd? No, what happened? I guess he's going to make an announcement on Tuesday about his future. I don't see them letting him go. I kind of have a feeling he's going to move up. Yeah, but what are they going to do with him? them bring them up and then let them hang out with ricochet i got i don't know oh it's gonna be hanging

out with ricochet and one of there's a special section of the locker room for for those guys sitting there sitting there waiting to be called up for something to do all right okay this is what i'm reading right here says seeing uh d y i reunion on the night that was awesome on the night of Gargano's last with the WWE is bittersweet in more ways than one so is he done

or I from what I have seen I watched a couple of YouTube videos his contract is up somebody else is Kyle O'Reilly's contract will be his last match I'm reading here will be Tuesday on NXT that will be his

last for his contract and I think there was somebody else our contracts up too so he could be announcing that he's leaving or he could be announcing that he's going to the main roster yeah we'll see which way it goes oh the other part that made me laugh which I thought something awesome was going to happen

when LA night when it was his time to come running in the ring this is when they locked it and he couldn't get in So he ended up climbing over the cage. I thought he was to do something awesome, like kind of climb up to the top and then dive on to something. Not that guy. No, he looked all dumb climbing up and climbing down. I was like, oh, man, weak.

Oh, yeah, I know you're excited. You know who they're going to pair them with when they bring them to the main roster. It's going to be a new tag team with the Miz in L.A. night. my love him is don't get me wrong but yeah they got rid of Johnny drip drip so I don't know he's got to be what's he's got to have some little lackey well I see they brought his wife back where was she did she have a baby too

like they had twins so I think they got like three kids now did they still have their show I never watched this I don't know okay but um I thought this whole pay-per-view was awesome.

I mean, getting into it, it went by pretty fast. But I just remember looking at the time going, damn. I mean, they kill me with the commercials in between matches. It was like, all right, all right, all right. Just sell your merchandise and whatever in your sponsors. And let's get going. What's the next pay-per-view? Is it for WWE or?

Yeah. WWE's Day 1, which... Oh, that's a new one. Yeah, hold on. They just announced we knew about the... What was it? Seth Rollins,

Biggie and Kevin Owens' Trip 3-way for the title. Just announced Brock Lesner is going for the title again against Roman Reigns. The New Day defends against

the not sorry new days going up against the Usos for the Smackdown tag titles and official Edge versus the Miz for day one I just want

I just want to edge to win but I think that I think that'll be a good match I mean the Mizz does what he does he can talk shit on the mic and he's good in the ring but I don't know we'll see but as far as Roman rains and Brock Lesnar how many fucking times do we need to see that

I heard this won't be the last one after this don't carry it over to WrestleMania please I mean yeah you're giving us two nights and I hate when you do that but don't don't carry that over to WrestleMania this must be like Vince's favorite match or something like let's see it again those two

big guys. I always say this big guys have a handful of moves, but it's the same moves over and over and over. German suplex, spears, Superman punches, and that's it. I mean, Brock Lezor ain't doing the shit he used to do back in the 90s, I mean, it's flipping and flying everywhere, but I guess I don't want him coming down on his head.

You don't want to relive that again. but I mean, we already know They're going to do everything you just said Somebody's getting suplexed on the outside Somebody's going to get speared through the the barriers Some of the announcers table is going to come into play You know, that's pretty much the match Yeah, so I don't know

I don't know what they're doing Something Kind of, well, not kind of is non-wrestle news That we might have to cover for ESP Sport announced today. Paul versus Woodley, too. I don't even remember the last one. The last one, Paul took the decision, and there was a moment there where a lot of people said they felt like he got knocked out, that he was out on his feet.

Paul? But, yeah. Yeah, okay. I remember that one. And I guess an interesting thing came out that he's denies and there was a clause in the contract for that Woodley was not allowed to knock him out. So, which that's why people saying this, this rematch is a mistake because if that was in there, can't have it in there now because people are going to talk shit, which kind of means that Woodley's going to go a little bit harder this time.

Just knock him out. Stop playing with the, I mean, these Paul brothers are knocked me out. But I'm like, they, they didn't earn those spots. no they did like all these fighters that they're fighting they fought their way up from the bottom to get to the top these guys just came out of nowhere with the youtube shit and then just boom getting into these matches with everything i mean again i mean they got power and they can fight but i they don't have the training and and the and the boxing skills that that these other guys have you're fighting guys that have been doing this forever and they're

just they're tired these are two young dudes that hasn't been doing it that long but i don't know i mean again they'll knock me out and i'm just here talking shit but i wouldn't step in the ring with them i wouldn't even talk shit with them on the street and knock my block off that'll be into that you'll see me on tm z laying there but i don't know when is that fight happened uh december 18th oh well it's coming up yeah i guess He, Paul had a match with somebody else. I think the guy,

his brother and his father were like famous boxers. And then the guy just all of a sudden pulled out saying he got a rib injury or something. And a lot of people said he just kind of got scared of the, the big time and the bright lights. So Woodley stepped in, which that guy has been training. He has, I've seen videos.

he hasn't had a day off since their last fight he's been constantly training so he's already ready who um didn't one of those brothers challenged tyson this one of the other one i felt logan i think he got humbled by mayweather yeah he was in there exhausted and mayweather was just playing around this this one though this is the one though this is the one that calls out everybody. Jake Paul. Please. Oh, man.

Come on, Mike, man. If you're listening, man, get in there and knock that fool out. Yeah, Mike is 55 years old and Jake Paul is 24. Man, just get in there and clock this kid. I mean, take that payday. Someone's willing to pay you whatever.

Somebody needs to. I mean, he, I forgot what you had been. was Daniel Cormier. He's a retired MMA fighter, champion in like two divisions. I guess he had a problem with the way Paul speaks and talks about,

talk shit about people. And they kind of got into it in the crowd one time at one of the, I think a UFC event. It's not going to happen, but I would love to see Cormier, Paul. Paul's, Cormier is way out of his weight class. He was a UFC heavyweight champ.

So that's not going to. have but that's another person he's called out the deez brothers i guess he said he'll knock them out too all right um all right here really quick we're speaking of boxing or mma or whatever i don't know what they want to do but um have you heard of uh this rivalry going on with uh hasbula and abd rossick no look them up. They got into it a few months ago at one of these

UFC events. These two little guys they're from both from different parts of Russia and they're little people. And they go add. Hasbula, that's my guy. I love

him. Some of you guys probably know who I'm talking about. He's like all over Facebook, Instagram. Twitter, everything. They even had a little press conference

one time and they were kind of going off on each other and gotten into his faces. First thing that pops up is viral sensation has Bula suspended by Instagram

for death threats. That little guy is no joke. That's why I love him. I mean, there's videos of him with his little, his gold, I think is a Glock.

Firing in the air and riding with it in his car and really I don't know but um I think has bulls either 19 or 20 I can't I mean these these these are two you till young guys but uh has will I mean he's he ain't no joke man he yeah I do what is it Abdul Razzie was spotted making repeated throat slitting gestures the fierce viral Hasbula Maganov ahead of their heated alt-aq

Watch that video at the UFC, man. It's funny. They're trying to go at each other and everyone's holding them back. I don't know. It started off kind of like as a joke. But I don't know. It's slowly building up. Who knows?

Maybe it's just a part of the act. But when they win at each other at that UFC event, I was dying. Things get heated. Sometimes things get heated. said. You know, we had, we had somebody, uh, try to go at LeBron the other day because he, not the other day, a couple weeks ago, because he got a cut on his eye, throwing security down on the ground.

Then, and, uh, the recent, uh, versus battle with bone thugs and three six mafia, but altercation broke out. Did they even, I, all I saw was the, when they were fighting, did, did it even start did the battle even begin or did it was it was a hour into it okay busy he was just like yeah ugly motherfuckers ain't gonna be mocking me then he i don't know if he threw a water bottle he threw his mic and apparently uh three six mafios uh about that life because uh he's sure busy sure did jump behind everybody
