Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, welcome to another episode of the wrestling returns. WW Backlash, 2023, Puerto Rico. Was it a great pay-per-view? I'm hearing a lot of people saying that they didn't like it, but we're here to talk about it. I'm your host Brian with me, as always, is my brother Nez. What's up, man? Wait, what? Yeah, I had somebody in the Facebook.

group say that it was a horrible pay-per-view, but then he, like, added on to it by saying he already knew it was going to be by that card. I don't know who this person is, but... I'll just come out and say it. I thought this was one of the funest pay-per-views of the year. Yeah, that crowd was fucking amazing. I mean, I'll give it to the people of San Juan. I mean, the WWE universe was out there in full effect.

It was sold out crowd. First I was saying it was 17,000 and then Michael Coles went 18,000 sold out. So I don't know. There's another thousand came in. It was packed. Yeah. I mean, I've seen pictures even usually on, if you guys have been to live events, the camera side, they usually kind of block off a lot of those seats because there's got cameras and all the production crew going back and forth.

But it looked like there was pretty much to the brim with seats. and everything even by the camera side. But yeah, man, this crowd, they were hyped, man. They were so hyped. They were ready. And they came out on full force, ready to just have a good time. And this, I mean, I've said this before with the, when they have the crown jewel and the greatest world rumble and all that,

every time they have the stuff over in Saudi Arabia, those guys are super hyped because they only get it made once or twice a year, if that. so I mean they're super excited and these these people down there man they they were going off I loved every minute of this pay-per-view I mean there might have been some little dragon parts but I thought I thought I hit it out of the park with this one I was hyped I didn't watch it live I had to wait a few hours keeping with wrestling I was in Sparks Nevada and I went to headlock for headlock on hunger Yeah, I've seen some of the videos you posted. It looked fun. Yeah, they had a, it was like the, was it Nevada Food Drive? Is that who it is? Headlock on hunger is a campaign of a nonprofit event that aims to raise awareness and

combat the hunger issue that is affecting the children of Reno and Sparks area in Nevada. All proceeds food and food collecting during our pro wrestling event, food driver donated to the food bank. in Northern Nevada. So, I mean, that's pretty much what they were doing. It's a ritual food drive. One to five children, the Trucke Meadows are affected by hunger because they have, because of that, we have set a goal of raising $20,000 for the Food Bank in Northern Nevada.

But it did take place at Reed High School. school in Sparks, Nevada. And it was awesome night of wrestling. I guess they do this every year. This is

the first time I've heard of it. A buddy of mine, his son goes to that school. So he goes, they were going. He goes, do you want to go? I'm like, yeah, sure, man's wrestling. And it was cool. It was APW. I'm not really sure

what APW stands for, but it's one of the local indie little promotions. Oh, pro wrestling. Yeah, that's okay. I said to look it up to. All pro wrestling.

But yeah, man, it was a fun event. It was awesome. I had a good time. El Trooper Cabaret, the Mexican werewolf. He was there. I hadn't seen him wrestle in a long time. So it was really cool to see him. And I talked to him and I asked him.

I said, hey, man, a buddy in mine who do the wrestling returns it's a wrestling podcast he goes hell yeah man I'll be on it before he can even ask him if he wanted to come on and talk wrestling he was yeah man do I love to talk so everyone cross your fingers I'm gonna reach out to him and see if we can get him on the show

and just talk about his wrestling career and everything he's also a part of hood slam when they have all that in the Bay Area in Oakland I've seen video I've never been to one of the events where he was at but I saw pictures and he dresses up as Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat

and my friends everybody, they say they just it's just a party and goes off, man. I've been to one, but it was glabbed, the something,

something ladies are wrestling. I can't remember what it was called. But it was a cool event. There was a lot of people there. The wrestlers, I didn't know any of them except for, oh, no, Reno Scum.

uh, Luster the Legend and Adam, so I can't remember his last name. Uh, their local favorites in the Reno, Neva, Reno Sparks area and they're badass. I remember seeing them at the RWF, uh,

Reno Wrestle Factory events. And man, they, they brought the house down. There was like a six-man tag and, no, it was like an eight-man tag. And they,

no, wait, six-man. No, there was a six-man tag. And then there was a, I think it was a fatal four-way or something. I don't know.

There was a, it was a big, huge mess and everything was, everybody was going nuts and all that. But it was a good time. I can't remember the, I don't know if it was the Northern Nevada champion, some asshole dude. But he was hell of funny, man. He was good on the mic. I cannot remember his name. But he was talking hell of shit. It was a family event, but there was some little risque moves in the ring with, uh,

with shoving people's butts, our faces and people's butts, and then guy was humping this dude's face. And the champ guy, since he's doing the heel roll, he was talking to hell and shit on the mic. He let a couple choice words slip, but he kind of caught himself.

But overall, it was a fun night of wrestling. I was good to see some Luchador as in action. Shout out to L. flaco local I think that was his name and I cannot remember the other guy's name but they were pretty cool man it was a good event I have more videos I'm gonna try to throw them all together and put them on TikTok but it was an awesome event it was good to go out there to support the cause for um what's it the Nevada the Food Bank of

Northern Nevada and make sure that all these kids got something to eat the summer during the break because there is a lot of issues out there I know parents I mean, parents have to work, and sometimes they just, they got to leave their kids at home or somewhere. So it's just make sure these kids have meals throughout the day when their parents aren't home. But again, it was a good event. I'll definitely, so I'll definitely go every year if this is a yearly event. So, because it was really fun. I got there super early.

I had the VIP treatment. The only VIP thing is you get in earlier. And I got to sit front row. So I sat on the right. they came in on the to the left of me i was a front row in the middle and every time they fell out the ring all the action was like right in front of me so uh there was a couple guys where they got hurt man there was because there was no padding or anything around uh the floor of the ring it was just hard basketball uh floor so they were just a couple guys slammed their heads

but over that man other than that they were they were okay there was one guy he was during the first match, he looked like he hit his head pretty hard. And he was kind of, they had to basically, maybe it was just pretending. I don't know, but he afterwards, he was holding his neck. And I'd asked him, you all right? He goes, kind of landed funny. So I was like, oh, man. So he just kind of just sat down.

But other than that, it was an awesome night of wrestling. I'm glad that I went. And like I said, I'm definitely going to go again next year. so as soon as that happens everyone I'll let you know uh when it does happen but yeah w-d-wee moza I'm sorry that's that's cool yeah I guess there's some more wrestling events going on because when the announcer they were announcing all these other events that are going to happen and I want to go so but we'll see summer's coming and they usually that's when all the wrestling goes off and the Reno Sparks area

so I'll definitely be there and I'll come on here and tell you guys how it went but backlash I again I thought this was an awesome pay-per-view I thought every every match was awesome but to kick off the match

the Raw women's championship Bianca Bel Air is the champ taking on Eoskeye you thought this was Puerto Rico's own Eoskei yeah I mean that was that was awesome because I was I mean I love the EST she's badass but I was all for EO

Sky and they were too man they were hooting and hollering and booing Bianca Belair I was like damn what what's going on here that's when I knew this crowd was going to be a hila height so I did like all that and these two ladies CBS Sports gave it an A plus I'm with that because I thought Me too. They brought the house down. I mean, Eoskeye is awesome. We've seen her shine many times, but it was good to see her shine without the rest of damage plan.

But they came in at the end. And we'll get to that in a minute. Yeah. Dude, when Bianca Bel Air, when she picked up Eoskeye and then like both hands, holding her with both hands, and then she brought one hand down. and was holding her up for a good maybe five seconds, one arm. And Bianca Bella was strong. But when she went to slam Eio, it was like her arm kind of gave.

And Eio just came right down on her face. I was like, ooh, but she, now she kept it going. Yeah, I thought we had another Charlotte Flair, WrestleMania moment there for a second. I was hoping for, for EO to pull it out because it was going back and forth. They were both beating the hell out of each other, and they were pinning each other left and right. So I thought that was amazing. I thought Bianco was going to go out because she kept, Eio kept going after her, what was her right arm?

And just slamming it on the ropes. And at one point she climbed up to the top rope. then jumped and stepped on it hell hard. I know it's her left arm. I'm watching it, everyone. But I thought this was a really good match. I don't know how tall I-L. Sky is, but man, this young woman, man, she was flying all over the place.

I still love to see her and Oscar go at it, like super hard. I mean, they have gone at it before, but I want them to go hell hard. Yeah, they, the last time they kind of. kind of was building it out, you know, the whole former tag partners in Japan. And then they had the little moment where they was arguing in Japanese and then just nothing. Yeah, I don't know who's writing the storylines in this, but. Yeah, especially having your girl show up near the end here. But before that, uh, when, uh, Eio did the, uh, the moon saw.

when uh from the top out to the outside of the ring man that was cool that was good bianca was there to catch her and everything but yeah when uh yo like like i said they were going back and forth but then uh the bays only bailey and uh dakota kai came running out the fuck things up but she looked good oh yes i like i like whatever shout out to whoever made her pants because I know a little revealing there. I don't even know what

else she was wearing when I she came around and I saw those pants. I was like whoa I was like damn another another hard move is when Bianca picked up

you know and she jumped off the second rope and just power bomb I mean, her head bounced off the ring. I mean, you try to at least lift your head before you hit the mad, but no, that force came down hard. And you just seen her head just bounced like a ball. And I know, man, these women, men and women, they torture their bodies to entertain us.

But, I mean, I don't want no one to shake your brain loose. or anything, but man, oh, she was, she was taking hard bumps. Both of them were. So, but when Dakota and Bailey came running out, I just saw Bailey's pants and I was like,

what the hell's going on? All I remember Bailey was her pants. And then when she got in the ring and Bianca tried to throw her out and she got like caught up in the bottom rope. Yeah. I was like, what is happening right now? Because Eo took a hard forearm to the face because she was, well, when those two came out with a distraction,

Eo grabbed the back of Bianca's her big long braid. And speaking of her braid, man, her braid was taking a beating because it's usually nice and braided and stays pretty good every time I've seen her wrestle. Yeah. This one, I don't know what was going on. It was falling apart. I wanted to bring because my wife does hair. I wanted to bring her. I didn't get a chance to show her,

but I had a question. Was her hair supposed to look? Because it looked like it was coming undone before the match even started. And I was like, is that what it's supposed to look like? Or? I don't know. I couldn't tell you either. But it was unraveling slowly because when E.O.

grabbed it and then pulled her back. And she, Bianca Bella, she was hanging on to the top rope. But then when she turned around, she came full, force with that forearm and it didn't even look like she tried to hold it or at least pull it. No, it was like full force. She slammed her. Then she picked up, he picked up Eo. She didn't give her a backbreaker, but then she kind of spun her around.

Dakota was on the apron and then she slammed Dakota in the face and she fell off. But Eio got out of it. She kind of just reversed it and then slam. Bianca. That's all I was, I was hoping she was going to win. I wanted her to win so bad because this match was so awesome. And it would have been awesome to see,

EO as a champ, but no such luck. Yeah, everyone was saying Bailey and Dakota ruined it. Of course they did. Yeah, I see what they're doing. They're planting the seeds for the damage control breakup.

Yeah, but. Oh, Bailey. God damn. I don't think she's wearing underwear. Not with those pants. Uh-uh. I've said this before, everyone. Bailey can't go back to I'm a hugger.

She needs to just stay a heel from here on out. I love this heel run. Bailey climbed in the ring and then she distracted the ref and he'll threw Bianca down against the bottom rope and then Dakota guy jumped up and kicked her in the face and then Bianca was laying there all roughed up. Then Bailey grabbed Bianca's hair and was trying to hold it and the ref saw it so then she got the boot. And then Eio tried to do a moonsawl off the top rope, but then Bianca rolled out of the way

and she just came flat down on her face and that was it. then Bianca took that opportunity to capitalize and one, two, three. But overall, this match was amazing. It was a good way to kick off backlash. And again, shout out to the crowd because on how hyped everyone was. But I was like, man, is it just going to get better or is this the best we got? And then the rest of the pay-per-view is going to be okay. no I mean this was just started off as a good a good match because it was it was definitely it wasn't short it went on for quite a while

but they kept it moving there was hardly any time where it was like all right you're just gonna hug each other for a minute now it was like every time they got a hold of each other something bad happened to one of them they were just both beating the hell out of each other but Dakota she's all cute a little skinny for my taste but I still love her but Bailey God damn oh man that's San Jose the South Bay for you guys but he is still he is

tea but I was I was I was I was I was excuse me everyone I was hyped with with this pay for you I love I mean I don't speak Spanish I can pick up words here and there but the thing that I love the most usually when they get someone down and they're pin and everyone's just one, two, three, it was, Uno dose. I was like, oh.

I thought that was awesome. And some people, one of my buddies was like, man, every time a bad bunny was around and they had the little in, when he was talking to Ray Mysterio, it was on Spash. What the hell were they saying? I'm like, I don't know. I mean, just enjoy the show. Yeah, but I love that because like even with the Damien Priest, because, you know, you know, he's, he's from the same place as, um, same, uh, town as a bad bunny. But you never really get to see him bring that side of him out and just the buildup for

him, you know, them arguing in Spanish and it's nice to see. Yeah, I mean, I was, I was happy, man, with, with, with everything that was going on in this, but this next match I wasn't really excited for. Oh, totally unnecessary. Oh, yeah. I mean, but you got to, you got to string them along. I mean, I thought he did better when he took on, uh,

Brock Lesnar on that last one. What was that? I was WrestleMania. Uh, the Monday night Messiah, Seth Effren Rohn's taking on the Nigerian beast, omas. I was like,

okay, this is kind of a mismatch, but all right. But, because like, like I always say, say big guys, handful of moves,

Seth Rons, we all know how awesome he is and everything that he does. And a shout out to Jessica. So fine. She was in there trying to keep these two apart.

But it kind of just started off like how Brock Lesnar does. He gets a hold of him and just starts throwing them all over the place. I mean, that's what Omas did. He started off with a big boot

to the side, almost to the side of his head. I liked the whole beginning, though, when Seth came out and everybody was singing his song. Yeah. And then he continued in the ring when the song came off. The crowd just kept going. That was awesome too. Almost was like, no, fuck this.

I'll stop this shit right now. Because, I mean, the crowd, they were singing everybody's song. That's, I mean, but when Bad Bunny came out, they were really going for it. But, I mean, I think that's what me. as someone watching it from home that was getting me hyped yeah and it was late at night when I was watching this I went to like three in the morning

by the time it was over but oh man but it was it was this other than the crowd hyping everyone up it didn't matter who came out everybody was hyped but with this match I mean yes Seth Rons he at first I didn't I didn't know

which way it was going to go seriously everyone I mean I knew Seth was going to do what he was going to do, but I didn't realize he was going to take this much of a beating in the beginning. Because Omar's threw him all over the place, picked him up, slammed him, thrown in and out of the ring. I loved how he was always talking shit to the crowd. And Seth was just doing what he does.

I mean, but it was like a lot of the high flying and everything, but a lot of it wasn't working because Omar's was just capitalizing any chance of guy. He would catch him in the air and see. slam them. So I thought it was, I thought it was good, man. I was really hyped watching this one. But what did you think of this one?

Yeah, I wasn't a too big on it coming in, but then when it just got gone, like I said, with Seth getting the crowd into it, and then almost just kind of shutting the crowd up and kind of playing into it, you know, beating the shit out of Seth, and then

looking at the crowd, basically like, sing the song now, you know? And just I loved everything he was doing even the moment where Seth went for the stomp the curve stomp and it just he was just too big to stomp he didn't even move he just he kind of maybe made it let a little slight movement but he did not there was no stopping I did want to see what it looked like because you remember that moment in the match when Seth was going to try to pedigree, Omas.

Yeah. I wanted to see what that looked like, but it didn't happen. A little too big for it. But yeah, I thought this match was fun for what it was. You know, almost, he's very limited in his moves, and you knew Seth was going to have to carry this match. But I thought they both came in there and did what they needed to do, and they put on a good show.

Yeah, man, I'm sure they rehearsed what they were going to do because, yeah, I mean, Seth, did he carry the match? He did that sometimes, but, I mean, they both almost did what he could do to keep it moving, to keep the crowd hyped, and everybody was boring him anyway, but he didn't care. Of course he's the heel.

But, I mean, Seth took most of the beating out of this match, everything he did. But I loved when Omar's picked him up when he was on the outside of the ring, and then just threw him into the rig. And this fool's big. I mean, Great Khali is done, right?

Yeah, I think he had to retire because of his injuries and stuff. Because I would like to have seen him go up with Omas. But Great Khali, he was cool to see him when he'd come in and slap you up and everything. But it was, he was limited as well. All that, especially he didn't look like he can move that good. I don't know if it was his knees or what, but but overall, man, I thought this match was pretty decent.

It was good. Omas did what he had to do. Because he was pretty much running the match the whole time. And then Seth, he started to come back because he was chopping away at the giant.

And then, I mean, Seth looked like he was hell tired by the time this was all over with. But it was good, man. I loved what was going on. He finally did curb stompsom. them and everything so I thought that was super curbs stone yeah he did

but yeah I mean Omas was selling these moves because when Seth had to climb up to the second rope and then like flipped and then rolled um Omas over

and Omas did a good job man he sold it well yeah I think he's getting better yeah he is he's getting really good MVP he's just there he's just he's obviously there because omas's mic skills are not that great so yeah that's what mvp's for you need him there i'm watching this everyone yeah he tried to curb stop him but no it wasn't happening omas was on his hands and knees and he tried to but he didn't even move when he jumped up and picked

up uh set ralms and then just chokes slammed him i think if it was like a real Real, real fight? Of course, Oh, Moss would win. But overall, I mean, this match was cool.

I loved everything that was going on. It was entertaining and funny. And, of course, Seth pulled it out at the end with the pin.

And again, how the stick with the house, man. They were full force. But Jessica, just doing what she does. I need to do anything to stand there and look good.

Sorry. But, Overall, man, I did enjoy this match. I wasn't expecting much, but yeah, that big curb stump when he jumped off the top of top rope and came down on Omas, and that's what ended it, because that's when he curbstopped him L-O-R. He was basically standing up, and he just kind of had his head down a little bit,

and said it came down and slammed him L-A-R, and that was it. But it was good. It was a good match, man. CBS gave it a B-plus. I'm with that, man. It was good. It was entertaining. And like I said, Seth Rohns looked like he was tired.

I feel it for them, man. I mean, all the stuff that they do, and then they got to walk that big ramp. I mean, I don't, I mean, I love the stages when they have those. But I don't like the WrestleMania stage because it's too big, and it's like 10 miles to walk from the stage of the rig. I don't like these, like how they do when they have the roll rumbles and the, baseball stadiums when they had this little curved that that's what they had here so i was like yeah all right but bring back to the little mini russomaniar ring cart things that they used to have back in the day they were taking too long at russlemaidia three all right the next match

your boy no you we everybody that listens to the show knows this is your boy with your other boy commentary. Ah, man. The United States champion ship match dumb ass Austin Theory

taking on the almighty Bobby Lashley and Bronson Reed. I was like, okay, can you guys

just beat the hell out of this fool and one of you guys take the belt? But that didn't happen. So.

But, I mean, I thought this match was pretty good. I mean, they did go after him.

Austin theory does what he does. He plays it to the crowd and everyone was booing them in the dumb A-town down

or whatever the hell that shit is. No offense to anybody that listens from Atlanta. Yeah, I mean, no, no offense to you. I mean, it's this dumb motherfucker. I hate him. But he's doing his job. I mean, he wants you to hate him. And then he, uh,

if you've been listening to this show and every time we talk about him, I hate this little fucker. And, uh, I can't imagine taking it. What are they called a tsunami from Bronson Reed? Because he was given out. there was one it was like off camera I think it was a I think uh theory was pinning Bobby and Bobby kicked out and then out of nowhere Bronson came with the tsunami off the top rope I was like that's

that's a lot of man right there yeah because they were um yeah he weighs this much in Bronte he was a human Bronson really I don't know how tall he is I mean I'm not very tall over I'm like five nine And he just, I'm not as big as him maybe, but I mean, I'm sure that's muscle and a little extra body fat. But man, that little guy, I'd be scared of him. Ronson Reed is six feet tall. Oh, excuse me. How tall is Bobby lastly?

Is he six feet two? He has to be because they both look the same size. He might be a little bit shorter. Black don't crack Because he looks exactly the same From back in the easy W days I thought Bronzen Reed broke

Bobby Lashley's back I mean Because he came flying out of the ring Top speed and just landed Bobby was laying flat on his stomach And he just roomsed And I was like Oh man

I know you got to expect everything But not not I'd rather be laying on my back and have you land on top of me that way, but not on my back, because that's watching all this, and every time they fall, man, my back hurts.

Watching the shit. But, it was a cool match. I liked what was going on. Again, I just wanted them to beat the hell out of Austin theory, but I knew he was going to win. I'm, of course. I mean, I think he's going to ride this

out for a while. I don't know who's going to take it from him, but whoever takes it from him when his time is up, I want them to beat the hell out of this fool. Yeah, I don't, thinking about it, I don't know who's going to take it from him. I mean, maybe, uh, because we just had the draft, I know they just brought a Schenstke over and they've been kind of giving him a little bit more time on TV. So maybe he texts the title from him. I was happy when he came to

WWE. They were pushing him and then they just shoved him aside. And they were just giving them these dumb little tag team partners and everything. I mean, Shinske is a main eventer. You guys seen all his Japanese stuff.

Oh man, amazing, amazing matches. Then WWE got a hold of them and just to me, in my opinion, everyone is just wasting him. Well, I think they don't, care about Shinske because they don't usually let their talent go do other shows while they're still under contract and when what's his name the great mooda was doing his retirement tour yeah they let they let Shinskay go wrestle over in Japan for one of his retirement matches that's better than what we're getting yeah

so brought to read man he's a big dude man but he that's a lot of force coming down on those ankles when he's jumping off the ropes and everything because he just came off the second rope and jumped on Bobby Lashley and he was on the outside of the ring and at least the ring has got some give

you know those hard rubber mats man then no give and my knees and my ankles took a beating from skateboarding when my younger year but I can't imagine jumping as high as these guys do

especially Otis when he does his little moves when he jumps off his second row but yeah he fucking Corey's dumb ass if if

core will look okay let's just say Corey does get back in action I know he was cleared we've mentioned it before I want him to to fucking maybe take the belt from I'd be all right with that. I hate both of them,

but I'd rather have somebody take the belt from this dumb fuck, man. He just bugs me because he was Vince's boy. Vince was just dragging him along and just pushing him. But, I mean, he's in every pay-per-view, and you hear my dislike for him every episode, so he's doing his job. just way like when Corey comes out of retirement he's going to team with Austin theory and they're going to be the new tag team champs hell more

man brought to read man he keeps almost killing Bobby Lashie came flying off the ropes again and landed on his face yeah I'm just like and it's always like out of nowhere and that that last moment was scary because that like I said that's a that's a huge man and when he did the moon salt. I was top rope. I was like, oh,

my, I was, I was kind of hoping. I was like, I hope everybody gets out the way of that one. Yeah, man, because,

yeah, he kept flying everywhere he got a chance. He came flying out. I had no way. Oh, man. He's dumbass. The Austin's about to try to pick up, uh,

Bronson Reed and give him a tail down. He got him up for a minute. He did, man. I mean, I'll give it to him. I was waiting for his knees to buckle. But he reversed it on him and gave him that power slam.

I love when they do that. I think to me, my favorite guy that does that quick-ass power slam is, what's his name, Randy Orton. Has he hurt? Yeah, he got injured and had to have surgery. I think he should be time for him to come back. I hope so. Because it's been over a year. He just needs a break.

And they were running him a while too. But all right, here it is. Bronson Reed's climbing up to the top row. Flip, Moonsault, nobody home. Then Bobby speared him hell hard.

And I thought it was awesome that this, this match took place in Puerto Rico, where they're both from. And everybody was hyped. Everybody was hyped for this match. So I was too.

I never did, though. I mean, I used to see him with every event and everything. I like the whole setup for it where you, like, tap his arm and then turn his hand around, position it in the cobra. I love how he just pulls it out. And they're, wow, everyone goes nuts. And yeah, he does all that. Cobra!

But I think he's like a, what should call her for impact? like a general manager type character now why not at least he's still in the business I guess I should start watching impact what's her name's the impact now Trinity

yeah I saw that good but what's her name needs to come back Mercedes Monet I don't know who that is the boss she needs to make her over there. Do you think she'd ever

come back to WWE? Yeah, I think she's just getting all this out of the way. You know, one, there's probably a dream of her as a wrestle on Japan and train with them out there. And she's going to do the indie scene and probably do some more acting. And then she'll be back. She better, man, because she was, for all of you, didn't watch Mandalorian. She came back.

So hopefully she'll be back next season. but watch her come back and then take the bell from mommy that'd be all right with that it's a dark day in wrestling we'll see how there goes

but I mean overall this match was pretty badass I mean you see the demise of the bloodline and let's say three more pay-per-views maybe a couple more raws or whatever and they finally just collapse

and then solo and Roman rains. I'm waiting for that time when solo turns on Roman. Oh, that's coming too. I don't know, man. I think that'll be a good match, though. I mean, they'll both beat each other up. But, of course, we got to see them take on the Uso's first. Yeah.

And then let them do the beat them up, then the ladies get involved, and then bring in the rock to close it all out. watch that bring him back for whatever reason. I don't know if he's still in good graces with WWE, but... It should be. Let's him come back and take the belt. I don't know.

I was mad when he took the belt from Sam Punk and then just disappeared, but I don't know. Well, we'll see. Whatever puts butts in the seats and sells tickets. CBS Sports, man, they gave this one an A. And I'm with all that. I mean, I thought it was really cool. They did their job. It just, for me, it furthered the bloodline story.

You kind of, to me, you kind of maybe finish the whole thing with Sammy. Well, not Sammy, but, you know, this feud and just kind of gave a new angle to the whole bloodline thing with solo. Yeah, because the bloodline ended up pulling it out. They pinned Riddle and that was it. But it like it happened so fast at the end because there was too much going on and then next thing, you know, ding, ding, ding. I was like, what happened? I had to rewind it because I was like, well, got pinned. But it was, it was just a big mess at the end because it was just kind of getting out of hand.

But yeah, again, they gave us an A, that match in A. So I'm with that. All right. The main event time. Cody Rhodes, the American nightmare, taking on the beast, Brock Lesner. Yeah, CBS Ford gave this an A-Mines.

Okay. I thought it was, they did what they were going to do, but of course, we knew what was going to happen. Lesnar was going to throw Cody Rhodes all over the place, and he did.

I thought that was really cool. I mean, Cody Rhodes did what he had to do. I love the move the most. It's a little simple move, but it's more just a slap in the face when Cody goes down and falls on the back and it just kind of gives you that little throat. The gold dust move. I love that move. He didn't do the elbow for his dad. I was waiting for that.

They're trying to play this match a little more serious. is. He could have still done it, man. Just do it once. He didn't have to do it over and over. It's a cartwheel and do the star sign. No, nobody wants that anymore. No more star dust.

That character is gone and dead. I don't think he would ever do that again. Maybe if they had like a Halloween show or something and he came out as star dust. But no, you do what you got to do, man, to get that paycheck. Yeah, sometimes you got to dress up like someone that's intergalactic character or whatever. Oh, man. Yeah, that's what I knew was that was the end for him. But yeah, as far as this match, I wasn't as into it in the beginning, but then after Cody started taking, after him getting a beating through most of it and then him making that comeback and then that, that moment in the match where, uh, I forgot.

how I went, but the turnbuckle pad came off. Cody took it off. Cody took it off and then Brock went ahead and first into it and legitly busted himself off and I don't know if that was

planned or not, but he that was a legit cut right there. All right. All right, really quick, everyone, before we kind of dive into the rest of it. I think he bladed himself. I don't know, because this is why I say that. If you guys go back and watch that part again,

when Cody took the turn buckle off and he threw it into the crowd. I don't know if they went and got it back, but when Brock went head first into it, he kind of, he was on his knees and he kind of came back. His head was fine. that didn't see any kind of cut or blood or anything Brock brought his hand up to his forehead for a second and then he brought it down

and then immediately the blood just started pouring down the side of his forehead and onto his face because it was like a bloody mess it was all over his face blood all over the ring there's blood all over Cody and it looked like I don't know did he blade himself I don't know I don't know

some people are saying he did some people say no it just took a second I would go the other way because it's still real to me I don't know but I watched that part over a couple of times I was like whoa wait a minute but whatever I mean

they let it slide The reason why I say it wasn't a blade job because I watched him, his appearance on Raw the next night. And it looked like he might have had staples put in the cut. Well, it looked like a big gash because when the blood was pouring out, yeah, it looked like it was open. That's why I'm saying. I don't know if it was a blade job because it just how busted open it was.

I don't know. I'm just going by because when he pulled his head back and nothing happened and then he touched his forehead and then he moved his hand and the blood came push it was like a little waterfall.

It just immediately started pouring out his face. So I don't know. I mean, if he did, he did. If he didn't, he didn't. But either way, man,

he was a bloody mess. Yeah, it was a big turning point in a match. Yeah, because that's when Cody started when Cody started a strike. because he was other than the blood being everywhere it wasn't just

it was in you can see legit see that it was in his eyes because he kept blinking and he kept trying to wipe the blood at some point someone threw a towel to him really quick and he wiped off what he could and then kept going

but see I'm reading something here saying Lesner was seen to be really mad as the show went out the air because I think they're saying he wasn't expecting to be cut. Well, I mean, I mean, he could have just been playing to the crowd, but I think this is somebody saying this was after the paper me was over.

Yeah, because he didn't usually whoever loses just rolls out of the ring and that's it. No, he stayed in there because he was. Somebody threw him a towel. Yeah. the blood away and he looked irritated. Yeah, I don't know, maybe he just didn't go. Who knows? Maybe he was supposed to win, but the blood kind of just ruined it.

You know, now that you're saying that, I can see Brock being pissed because somebody maybe called an audible and they were like, because he's bleeding, because you know, W.W.E. don't like blood anymore. Yeah. So maybe they called an audible and basically the finish was, uh, he was in. And, uh, listen, Brock had him in his submission and, uh, Cody just kind of rolled him up on his shoulders and pin him for the quick one, two, three. So maybe they called an audible. And Brock was like pissed off that he had lost like that.

Yeah. I don't know. Yeah. Maybe he was just because it was, there was a lot of blood. It wasn't just little trickles and speckles here and there. No, it was, it was pouring out. I mean, it was at a few points in the. match his whole face was red and he was just like i was saying he was just wiping the blood out of

his eyes to keep to keep going and cody had it all on his chest a little bit on his face but i mean they they kept the match going for yeah because it seemed like it ended pretty quick after all that so i don't know maybe brock was supposed to win uh but that would have sucked because then I would have been Cody lost at WrestleMania, which he I would have been all right if he won and he had the belts,

but I was like, I don't think they were going to let Roman drop him at WrestleMania, but setting up the rematch because he showed up on Raw and destroyed Cody and kept getting

into camera up in the camera, talking about look at my face, look what you did to my face. face because he's kind of got like a kind of a little bit of a black eye too a little swelling around the eye so no no I don't know I will see but I liked when they went out out of the ring Cody was bringing the chairs it just beat in that a lot of Brock I mean yeah they hit him in the back and

everything but that there was because it started off of the bang I mean, Cody came diving out of the ring right on to Lesnar. And that's when it started. Because that was all before the bell rang because that's when he started hitting them with the chairs. But and then they got back in the ring and then they did the bell rang. And then Cody just started doing everything he was doing. Man, that disaster kick, look, I could connect it pretty good. Mm-hmm.

Because he hit him with two of those. Yeah, I was about to say there was two of them. They looked real good. Yeah. But, you know, it's, I don't know. I just always, I don't know how he takes it, but I always felt like, because of his background in MMA and wrestling, I always felt like Brock can take a little bit more than everybody else.

Oh, I think so. I mean, he can, he can take a lot. I mean, he's been fighting big brutes, like real fighting. These guys, I mean, it's, of course, it's all choreographed and planned and everything. But, yeah, I think that's why he takes a lot. lot of a lot more a little more punishment he can he can handle it I mean but when when you know it's coming it's it's different I always go back to the um the the Rural Rumble I think it was a real rumble and um what's his name when he got a little too wild um brown brown

stroman yeah to give him a little extra on the punch after that yeah because he need uh Brock in the face hella hard and you see instantly how mad he was because then he just got up and blah clocked brum brawn in the side of the head and then you can hear yeah let's take here

and you can when he connected with that punch braun kind of did the little spaghetti legs for a second yeah man he was dazed but they they kept it going but yeah Brock was he was pissed in this one

but that tells you what kind of person Brock is because I read that Brian apologized to him after Brown's not a small man I mean you're you especially when there's like a billion guys in the ring and you're just trying to put on a good show

and yeah the adrenaline's flowing and yeah sometimes you just get a little out of hand I'm sure you didn't mean to kick him as hard as he did but Rock wasn't playing that shit he just immediately he gave him that receipt let him have it

but I mean this match was good I mean Cody I didn't think he was going to win that was a little shocker and who knows again like we said maybe Brock was supposed to win but they just had to end it because there was too much blood because yeah when Cody

jumped out of the ring after he won uh Brock was just sitting there and then yeah you see somebody throw him a towel and then he was just like the blood away he made me think of that dodge ball Ben Stiller and he made me believe my own blood he's just irritated.

Yeah, you could see how mad he was. He was just sitting in the ring. Like, I don't know. Again, who knows? We don't run the show. We don't know exactly what goes on after. But yeah, I kind of have a feeling he was supposed to win. So, but it just got out of hand.

So, but overall, I thought back this year's backlash was awesome. everyone's doing these write-ups now. I don't know how true they are. They want backlash to be permanently in Puerto Rico every year. I'm cool with that. Hey, me too. I thought it was good, man. I love the Saudi Arabia stuff when everyone's all super hyped and everything over there.

Yeah, that was what, no, no, not, is it nine of champions? Yeah. Look at that right now. The 27th, I believe. like two weeks night of champions is you know may 27th in the jet as super dome this is a little be like early in the morning not early early but it'll i remember one of those ones i think it was like at nine when it came on nine in the morning for us here and uh and we have a new world champ there because of this new belt that they have

because I think they're doing the belt staying on the raw on Smackdown now so which makes me wonder are they going to combine Romans belts into one belt for Smackdown?

Or is he just going to continue to carry two belts because he doesn't give a fuck? I don't know. Maybe he's like try to take him from me or some stupid like that. I don't know. I don't know. We'll see. Oh man.

I want Edge to have it. I don't know. I mean, I like that idea. Whoever came up with that idea that that Edge should have it or win it. I think he's in the tournament. I don't know. We'll see.

I mean, he's, he's Edge. He's a red-ed-dural superstar. He didn't want to retire. He had to. He just got hurt. I mean, doing what he loves to entertain us and everything. think so I don't know

we'll see how that goes looking at the matches that are already announced of course Cody and Brock rematch and Seth has already made it to the finals of the tournament for the new heavyweight championship belt

so whoever I think it's on Smackdown whoever wins that portion of the tournament is going to go against Seth in the night of champions should be him and edge just do that that would be an awesome match yeah i think so too and bring uh pat maccify for whatever reason you can bring him and uh what's his day well he's not a champs i guess he's not

a champion um logan paul i know a lot of people hate him for some reason i i like i like logan paul he does what he does when he's in the ring same thing with pat maccavy yeah he's just he's the comic relief but I mean he does it I like him most when he's commentating because he's always messing up something yeah but do it how they usually they've been doing it like don't have him beginning the show just kind of surprise everybody just just hit his music and then listen to Corey Grig and get all pissed off that he's there yeah all right but yeah we'll be back um around a couple weeks with night of champions from real

Saudi Arabia. I think that's worth that. I don't know if it said that one they had at the last year or whenever. I remember that one. It was like 90-something degrees. And it was hell it was that night. And everybody was when Goldberg almost killed

The Undertaker. Oh, gosh. When he knocked himself out and then almost killed the Undertaker? Yeah, I mean, leave those old old fogies at home. don't we don't need them to go out there and try to entertain everyone in that heat. That's so scary seeing a concussed man thinking he can pick up another large man. All right, everyone.
