Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, welcome to another episode of the wrestling returns.
WWE Extreme Rules 2021.
Nez, was this extreme enough for you?
At times, it was pretty extreme, but, um, WWE, come on, you guys need to get a little more extreme.
I mean, I understand this is the PG era or whatever you guys want to call it.
I was kind of like, but I mean, not to say that this pay-per-view was bad.
I know some people said it was boring and that.
It had its moments.
But I mean, I really thought these guys really tried to step it up a little.
But I had something to say about the main event, which was funny.
but hey, I understand why he did it.
But overall, man, I thought it was good.
One match had me like hooting and hollering.
And I couldn't help it.
I was trying to be quiet because I didn't watch it right when it aired.
I watched it later that night.
My grandsons were trying to go to sleep and here I am screaming in the liver room.
Because when we get to that match, I was going off.
Yeah, I might think I know what you're talking about.
I was watching the same as you after I got off work and we got an appearance from somebody
and I was just like, get the fuck out of here.
Oh, man.
Yeah, neither one of us watched the kickoff show.
I guess I'm looking here.
It was Carmela and Liv Morgan.
Yeah.
I was like, oh, man.
I'm going to watch it still.
I haven't, I think I just didn't get to.
Liv Morgan defeated Carbella via pinfall
CBS Sports gives it a B minus
So sounds like it was a pretty good match
All right um
I do like what they're doing with Liv Morgan
They are pushing her more
I just it just sucked that they got rid of
Her two partners
So yeah riot aka Ruby Soho and uh
Logan so but they're both
doing good. It's not like
they're hurting. Rubies
Soho is tearing it up
and
AEW. One of her matches
I think it was the last week
I caught at work
and man I can't remember
who she was going up against but they were
they were both going hell hard
slamming each other.
It was a title match. Yeah.
Against the doctor.
They were
I mean
any any
performer when they get those body slams and some of them try to brace the impact on their head
by putting their hands behind them but i mean either way i mean those those rings they do have give
but it still hurts no matter what and and i'll give it to all them ruby looked like she got slammed
on the back of her head hard but she kept going at first i thought she was going to like stumble
i didn't know if she was dizzy or anything but they they went hell hard man because they there was
times when they both fell on the mat and they were both laying there huffing and puffing so but i mean
i give it to them that there's a w i think a w is winning uh these uh what days they come on i know
friday wednesday and i think rampage is friday oh dynamite is wednesday and rampage is
friday right yeah okay which real quick before we get it to the rest of the car
hard.
How do you feel about this
NXT 2.0?
I see what they're trying to do.
But I don't know.
Maybe it just needs a girl on me.
I mean, I thought it was fine with what they were doing.
But now they're making it all flashy and everything.
I was like, okay.
I mean,
with Triple Age is the one running it.
So we'll see.
But I don't know.
It's just, I don't know what they're doing over there.
Yeah.
But it's, it's, it is what it is.
I mean, it's still enjoyable.
I mean, the whole NXT roster is amazing.
And we have the main roster, and it's the same guys and gals over and over and over.
But I don't know.
I do like the new kid though
brawn breaker
which that's a fucking stupid name
Rick Steiner's son
I was watching something
I'm on that today if you guys watch
Russell amia on YouTube
they were talking about
I guess something to do
with Scott Steiner I don't know if something happened
and they're not really
trying to get away from him but I don't know
his attitudes on whatever
he does
so they wanted to
change it
his son's name.
Well, they did change his name, but I'm like, uh, well, before we time anything else,
did you watch that, uh, dark side of the ring, um, plane ride from hell?
No, but I've, I've heard plenty about it, that everything going on with Rick Flair and
comments, uh, Rob Van Damme made that people aren't really cool with.
It, I don't know.
I know he, I think the only thing RVD that I remember from watching it was he really,
he was, he turned around and saw it happening and didn't, didn't do anything.
I heard he made a comment about the, the date rape drugs or something.
And that's, that's just what they did then.
And I guess people were like, oh, really, that's just what they did.
Yeah.
I mean, that was bad, but it still wasn't as bad as all the shit that, um,
Tommy Jumer was saying.
Yeah.
I was like, I couldn't believe that when he was saying it.
I was like, really?
Did they know they was being interviewed or?
I don't know.
I mean, some people say maybe he got dropped on his head too much.
I was like, wow.
I couldn't
I just couldn't believe it
and
Rick Flair
I love Rick Flair
he's the nature boy
but
all of this
it did
yes it did make me feel different
about him
I mean I met him once
and he was a nice guy
I grew up watching him
did we know this type of stuff
was going on
you don't
we don't know
because we don't see it
but you
you see the attitudes in all these guys, especially back in those days and alcohol and drugs.
Not to say that it, that it's okay because those things were involved.
I mean, none of it's okay.
No means no.
You shouldn't force yourself on anybody.
But, oh, man, it was rough.
I was, well, I was just kind of, I mean, I knew the story.
I knew what, what happened.
but when the flight attendant that it happened to,
when she was describing what was going on,
I mean, I was like,
ooh, I mean, I know some people were like,
oh man, this happened however many years ago.
Why is she saying something now?
She said something,
but this was a documentary,
and they wanted to hear it from her.
So she did her part.
She did her interview.
It's not like she came out.
Like, I mean, let's say this dark side of the ring
wasn't happening.
wasn't like she came out, ah, and said it again.
They were interviewing her.
She told her side of the story.
The big thing that really bothered me was Vince was on the plane and didn't.
He was, I didn't know this was going on.
I'm like, really?
I don't believe that.
I feel like Vince is the type of person that he knows everything that's going on.
Oh, yeah.
I mean, I don't know.
It was a crazy episode, everyone.
If you guys watch Dark Siler and you know, but if you don't,
all their episodes are on YouTube.
Definitely check that show.
It's good.
It's informative, but then some of them are really heartbreaking and depressing.
And this one was just, this one just made me mad.
And I did, I do feel anger towards Rick Flair.
I do feel angry, anger towards Tom.
me dreamer and uh he got let go from tna for all the shit he said then
frlare all his little sponsors and everything everybody cut on
i don't know it was crazy but um yeah any other any other wrestling news
no uh not that i can think of yeah i guess we'll uh jump into the the main uh the main card here
first match
the reunited New Day
versus Bobby Lashley
I guess you gotta call him the almighty
Bobby Lashley
AJ Stiles
and Omas
Ohmos
does do nothing
Mr.
Three moves of doom
he's that's what I call him now
that guy's got very limited things he does
he didn't do much in this
he stood there
every time someone tried to knock him off the apron and like he didn't sell those at all
and then he would just like look all mean and I don't know what they're doing with
almost because they I know we got the draft coming up here and they're like oh what if he
what if he gets drafted to smack down and gets let loose I'm like let loose was what with a couple
of moves he does so I don't know any of the great
Collie to come back so they can just push each other around with his limited moves.
I mean, at least Lisa Collie had the chop.
He had the little claw.
So he had some dance moves.
I mean, but this match was good.
I mean, they did what they had to do.
I mean, it's always good to see the new day.
I like it when all of them are in a match,
not just they're all there but only one of them's in it i i didn't like when they did that um i thought
Xavier rudes really really uh kicked it into high gear uh in this match i mean he took a lot of hard
bumps and he was all over the place so uh it's always good to see Xavier woods in there because
usually he's the third one in line you got cofi and biggie um but i thought it was good omas i
know he was just going to do what he does
AJ is always going to do what he
does too but he does it well but
the almighty Bobby
Lashley he
did good but I like when he's on his
own because it was
just kind of I mean you got three
or five superstars
and Omas so
like come on I mean
everyone was trying to get theirs in but I thought
everyone did do a good
job I mean I thought the match
was good I thought they all they all sold
it. But I mean, it was what it was. I thought it was a really good match. I thought it was a good way to kick it off because I was kind of thinking, why are you guys starting off with this one? So, but in the end, it was good. It did have the crowd cheering. So I thought that was really cool. Yeah. I thought it was a good showcase for Big E. Because I think putting the belt on him is like one of the best things they could have did because I think that guy's a star. Oh, yeah. I mean, because if you look, if you look, he's a big E, because I think he's a star. I mean, because if you look, he's a belt on him is. I mean, because if you look, he's a belt on him is. I mean, he. I mean, he
look back at Biggie from the beginning when he just was just muscle and stood around licking his
lips and had that big zit on his face for the longest. I mean, that was, he didn't do anything.
He just stood there. He was the muscle. I think once New Day started that it really, it really
pushed him up further. Because if New Day didn't hit, I think Xavier and,
Biggie would have been gone.
But since it hits so big, because when they first started, everybody was like, what the hell is this?
Everyone was booing them, but as they got the crowd behind them, I mean, they go off.
I mean, and they still go off on everybody, when you have all of them there.
So I think hopefully they stick around for a while.
But you know what WWE does at some point?
One of them is going to get mad for whatever reason, and then they always break up.
Yeah. I hope not.
You know it's coming.
And then later down the line, something will happen and they'll all get back together and then everyone will be happy again.
But I don't know. We'll see.
That's what I was thinking when I was watching this match.
I was like, which one is going to turn heel on big E?
My money's on, I think you would expect it to be Xavier's.
But my money's on Cofi.
Yeah.
Going for the heel run.
because I think
when Kofi's already been the champ
and then now
Big E's in it
and Kofi's gonna
seize that belt every week and now he's
going to want it back at some point. I don't know
I think something's going to happen
between them too. If they
put the belt on Xavier for whatever reason
that
I'm all for it. I love Xavier Woods.
I watch his
up, up, down, down or whatever his YouTube
channel's called. Yeah.
And I saw that video.
So, uh, yeah.
I support you.
He's handling his business.
Yeah, he was.
Uh, the next match, the Smackdown tag team championship.
The Uso's are what do they call themselves?
The bloodline.
The bloodline.
Uh, they're the tag team champs and they're taking on the street profits.
All right.
Street profit.
It's the Angelo, or Angelo Dawkins and, um, what's his nuts?
I damn it.
Um, what's the guy's,
Ford?
Yeah, him.
Those guys are awesome.
I love them every time they come on.
The whole solo cup thing, yeah, how funny, awesome.
I love it when everyone's got them.
I like it.
I like it rained on them when they did their entrance.
Yeah.
Usos, they are who they are.
who they are and it's good to see them both back in action.
But damn did these guys go hell of hard.
CBS Sports is only grading it a B.
I already gave it an A because they took super duper hard bumps.
When Ford came like out of nowhere and did that flip off the corner and landed on
I was, oh my God, I was going off, man.
I think this is the beginning to where I started to get super hyped.
But I thought this match was awesome.
I love the whole,
the super,
or the double super kick.
Yeah.
And the double splashes.
I thought that was awesome.
But, I mean,
these guys do what they do,
especially the street profits.
Both of their motives for it and
Angela Dawkins are awesome.
And we know at some point they're going to break up for whatever reason.
I hope not.
I would like them to ride it out and everything.
But I thought this.
match was awesome what do you think yeah a standout match for me uh i'm a fan of the uxos or
how shall i how shall i put the bloodline the bloodline is complete uh fan of them especially this
meaner streak they got um i'm a fan of the street profits because i think they're just a good
combination you know one's one's the muscle the other one is the high flyer and ford was just
he was selling that rib injury, especially when he was hitting the frog splashes and everything,
and then just immediately grabbing the ribs.
And I thought it was a good match, but I kind of figured the Uso's would take this one because I think they're going to ride this bloodline gimmick as far as they can.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
I'm like, they're not going to take these straps off of them just yet.
I think this is building up Uso's Roman and all them.
It's building up to something big, hopefully.
We want it to be something big, but we don't want it to just, ah, and then be nothing.
Like, like, WWE usually does.
I mean, we got a crown jewel coming.
I know that some of the WWE universe doesn't like.
when they go over there.
I like when they go over there.
I understand it is hot year round.
And that last one they had when,
was that the last one when the Goldberg and Undertaker just had the worst match of their life?
Yeah,
when Goldberg almost killed the Undertaker.
Yeah.
They said it was like 90-some degrees at night.
And no, thank you.
But what I love about when they go over there and do that,
other than they do highlight
the last time was
was a
was Mansour when he won
and I love when they do that
of course they're going to again
because
she's going back home
I like seeing
I mean even when they go over to Europe
because all those shows when they have those shows
everything's packed and full and everyone's excited
and I think they're more hyped up
than the family
are here in the States over there as well at the Crown Jewel and the Greatest Royal
Rumble and everything the fans really go for because yeah they get to watch it on
TV but they rarely have big events like this over there so everyone's like
super juice it sucks that I mean I don't know what they do over there the royalty
or whatever that's right in the front
it's like they're just sitting there and just like twiddling their thumbs oh they don't care yeah I'm
like what why are you guys there if you guys don't care when you got all the fans that are super duper
hyped that are behind you I mean it's cool to see the little kids that they bring with them they're
right in front and they're hyped up as well but when you got all these other guys it said again
this is in another country and I'm not I'm not I'm not I feel hopefully I'm not offending anyone
it's nothing bad
it's just it's just what I see
when I'm watching this thing
I don't know if they're fans
or maybe they just
feel that they need to be there
cool but I don't know
I mean that kind of takes me
takes me out of it except for when the camera
shows the fans that are in the back
because you see them they're all hellah hyped
and they're all ready to go so I love
that
do you think maybe it's
they feel like because their royalty they have
to portray a certain
image?
Maybe. I mean,
I know
like with the queen and all that, she can't
a lot of them,
they get that's...
Can't let loose. Yeah, you got to
be straight, straight up, be all about
business. And Harry didn't
want to be about business no more, so they cut
him loose.
Good for you, Harry. You get yours.
Do what you got to do.
But
wrong.
women's championship match.
Okay, Charlotte Flair,
she's a champ.
Alexa Bliss or whatever they call her now.
I hated Alexa
Bliss in the beginning. I just
didn't, did not like her.
I think the last
wrestling returns, I love this crazy
and what she's doing with herself.
Charlotte, I love her. She does what she does.
And it's amazing.
But this one was just like,
there was a lot of
mess ups.
And I don't know what they were trying to do here.
I did like how Charlotte was going off.
And he goes, well, just wrestled.
Stop with the gimmick and all this because of their whole buildup to what was going on here.
I think the buildups sometimes are better than the actual match.
Because when it got to this match, it was like, yeah.
Yeah.
I think, I think their styles just didn't mesh.
I agree there was too many, too many.
mess ups, too many
botches.
I
didn't really care about
the build up to this. I felt
like it was too
quick to build up this
little rivalry.
I'm kind of over
Charlotte being champions. Like they
throw the belt on her
whenever they feel like it
and I just
I don't know. I just going into this match
I'm like they're not going to give
Alexis.
this belt, which they should have.
And then, you know, I could, I could see her changing the belt and make it more her style and
just all kinds of crazy shit.
Because I like, I like what she's doing.
I feel like she's selling it pretty good.
But I just didn't like the buildup.
And I did.
I thought this was probably the worst match of the night.
Yeah.
Um, someone did a side by side, uh, comparison with Charlotte and, um, the hell's her man's
name now.
Um, oh, shit.
You guys know he is.
He used to be Androja or whatever the fuck his name is.
And it's something something on AEW.
Yeah, that guy.
Yeah, but I mean, good for him, man.
Yeah, Charlotte's hot.
Um, it was like kind of like a meme, a side by side video meme.
She was like, oh, I don't know what to do at the top.
And then they show her man.
doing moves and then just show Charlotte doing the exact same moves as him as when that
when he was when he was ragdolling someone against the the the ring the gate or whatever
and she was ragged on election bliss into the barricade I was like whoa I mean it was like
match Matt shot for shot I was like oh my God but I mean
two ages on i mean
did charl need to do that no
because she does plenty of good moves
but
i was laughing but
yeah this match was like
the weakest of the night
i was kind of like i was excited for it because i
love seeing both of them in the ring
and i do love the whole lily thing
i didn't at first i almost bought one when i
went to um
somerslam but thirty dollars
hulked for that
I said, no, I'm good.
RIP, Lily.
Yeah.
I mean, what that, this ending to this was, it was too long.
And a total botch because you could see what Alexa Bliss was trying to do.
Because at one point after Charlotte grabbed Lily and just tore, tore apart.
And I was like, okay, cool, whatever, funny.
but once the match is over
I mean Charlotte pinned Alexis
and she's still the champ
um
Charlotte jumped out and yeah
uh is she the heel now
Charlotte
yeah okay
so she's doing what she's doing
walking up the ramp and holding herself
like she got hurt or whatever
Alexis is in the ring crying screaming
picking up the leftover pieces
a lily and i was like all right i thought there was like grab it all stand there and then fade to
black and then go to a commercial it went on and on and on all the way up the ramp um and then she's
crying and trying to foam at the mouth yeah they fucked that up too oh a little because you could
see it in her mouth but it yeah it wouldn't come
out her mouth.
And then she just like kind of curls into a little ball on the on the floor.
And I'm like, okay, this is when they fade to black.
But the camera is still on her.
Yeah.
She's stuck out of, um,
Alka-Seltzer tablet in her mouth.
And it was supposed to foam up and all this shit.
She's, I mean,
the cameraman should have not zoomed in on her or just got in her face.
Because they zoomed up and she's got her mouth and she's,
screaming and a little bit.
I thought it was spit at first.
I was like, what the hell's going on?
And then when they zoomed in on it, I was like, what's that?
And later they find out it was out because I was kind of like, oh, come on.
Yeah, it wouldn't come out her mouth.
Yeah.
This is not good.
I don't, I don't know what they're doing.
Maybe she's, she's going through another change now.
She should have taken a drink or something.
And then maybe camera focused on.
Lily or something as she took a drink of water and then put that in her mouth.
I think it would have been a little bit better, but it just, it didn't work.
But yeah, this match was not good.
Yeah, it was awesome to see them throwing each other around.
I mean, I love both of them, but, nah, I was, I was disappointed in this one.
All right.
This was the one when I was super duper hype.
The United States championship, uh, match Damien Priest, which is a champ.
taking on Seamus and the charismatic, charismatic enigma, Jeff Hardy.
CBS Sports graded it to B, man, this was an A all the way in my eyes because all three of them went hard from beginning to end.
And Jeff Hardy probably being the oldest one as far as age, out of all of them, and Damien Priest being the youngest.
and the new blood.
He's badass, period.
Shame as he is what he is.
I can take him or leave him.
Jeff Hardy, I love Jeff Hardy.
He's one of my favorite wrestlers of all time.
And he's still out there doing it.
I hope he doesn't have to be in a wheelchair when he's older.
But he was moving a slight bit slower than he usually does.
Towards the end, yeah, he was feeling it.
I mean, Jeff, man, if you, if you're,
listening, man. Just take it easy. You got nothing to prove to any of us. He has put his life on the line to
entertain us every time he steps in that ring. But I thought this was an awesome match. I was
really hooting and hollering and I love the one guy getting pinned and they kicking out. I mean,
all three of them were doing it. I just thought they were awesome. I was mainly focusing on Jeff Hardy,
but I just thought this was an amazing match from getting in the end.
What did you think of it?
Yeah, I think it was another standout match.
I'm Damien Priest.
I'm more and more I'm beginning to like him.
I liked him before,
but he's starting to be somebody I look forward to seeing every week.
And Jeff, yeah, he's moving a little bit slower,
but he still gets in there and does what he needs to do.
And the thing I really liked after the match,
Damien retains his belt
and there was a lot of respect
given to Jeff Hardy.
Yeah.
The one of
when Jeff climbed up onto the top
when he was going to
swan ton on the Damian priest
if he got in motion
but then Seamus pushed him out of the way
and he
I don't know how those ropes feel
when you fall on him
but he looked like he whipped on it
Ella hard.
Yeah.
He kind of, I don't think that's the way he wanted to take it.
Ed fucking Seamus.
After he pushed Jeff off,
Chamis climbed up onto the top rope,
did his dumb thing.
Well,
he was trying to do an imitation of Jeff Hardy.
And then he dove off.
He did not sell this knee drop at all.
You could clearly see he didn't even touch Damian Priest.
But hey, man,
he did what he did.
I probably would have fucking hurt himself more.
But when he dove off,
he came down with one knee.
his right knee.
He came down,
but the main,
most of the force he caught with his left leg.
And then slowly and just
maybe grazed
Damien breezed.
Camera angle guys. Come on, man.
Try to make it look good.
I mean, these guys are selling it as best they can.
Your boy,
Corey Graves,
he tried to,
he tried to fix a moment.
I think
Jeff Hardy,
what was it? I think Damien
Priest was going for his move.
Oh, yeah. And then
it was a reversal. Jeff Hardy did.
And Corey Graves tried to make it seem like
one of them was going for a submission hole.
Yeah.
But they were just kind of falling down on each other.
Yeah. I mean, that one was, that was a little
too clear. I was kind of like,
Okay, yeah, you're all hot and sweaty, but come on.
Yeah, I think Corey was like, I think he was like, he's going for a dragon sleeper hold.
And I was like, no, he's not.
I can't stand, Corey.
I just, you know, like him with his leather coat and everything?
No, I hate him.
I hate him more than he's with Carmela, but I just, yeah, I am a hater, everyone.
I don't care.
Oh, man, he gets on my nerves.
I want someone just slamming through.
table.
Oh, man.
But I'm overall,
man,
I thought this match
was badass
because I thought
I thought Jeff had it
at the end.
I mean,
I swear,
I knew Damien
Damian Priests is
the new blood,
but I thought
Jeff Hardy was going to
win and I would have
really went off
because it was going
back and forth
and everything.
But it's
WVE,
everyone.
you know what they're trying to do but would you like would you like for him to stay here or
go where his brother is jeff um because his brother has reinvented himself again because he's got
the whole little faction over there the the hardy financial offices or whatever whatever he's got
i think jeff will eventually go over there but i think right now i mean the way they're kind of
pushing him.
I think he's going to ride this out and then just
all right.
Go on his own way.
So I don't know.
I mean, it depends on what they
do with him. But I do see
Jeff Hardy getting another belt.
Hopefully soon.
I'd rather have it sooner than later.
But, I mean, that's why
I thought he was going to win this match
because I was, I would have really went off.
My wife was texting me, be quiet.
because I was
during this whole match
but shout out to Damian Priest
man he did he showed
Jeff Harley the respect
because when the match was over
Shamish just rolled out
Jeff Hardy was still in there
and he Damian Priest shook his hand
gave him a hug and
I thought that was awesome
he paid his respect
to one of the greats
all right
this next match
They graded it to be.
I was kind of like, what's happening here?
SmackDown Women's Championship match.
Becky Lynch is a champ against Bianca Belair.
EST.
What does EST stand for?
She's the bestest, the fastest, the strongest.
Okay.
Nothing against her.
She's an amazing performer.
I love her.
Did they rob her of her belt?
Yes, they did.
Too quick.
Yeah, she got her a WrestleMania moment, which was amazing.
Can't take that away from her.
But Becky's had the belt.
Who knows how many times.
And the way she wanted at SummerSlam was stupid.
Yeah, they tried to say they wanted you because they're trying to build her up as a heel.
So for her to take the belt,
that way makes people hate her, which I don't think that's the case.
I think she's one of those wrestlers.
I don't know if people are really going to turn on her like that.
I don't think so either.
Man, she's the man.
So Becky two belts, the man, whatever else you want to call.
I think she is at that point to where she can do no wrong.
I mean, everyone loved her.
and NXT, and once she came over to the main roster,
still love her,
and then all these new little things, new recreations of her,
everyone still loves.
And when she came back, hell yeah, I was hooting and hollering.
I think she was going to get the belt that day, but all right, whatever.
But, yeah, I mean, this match was what it was.
I mean, it wasn't the greatest.
I mean, I've seen both of these women do a million times.
better, but
it was what it was.
I felt Becky was stiff, though.
And there was a few times, like,
when she's about to get slammed,
like she's clearly protecting the back of her head.
I don't know.
Yeah, I mean, it was...
Was this the first full match?
Yeah.
She did?
Okay.
The little buildup and everything, yeah.
And maybe that's why she had just a quick one.
with the summer's lamb deal but I was kind of like hey okay what's happening here
but you get to Bianca Bella I'm all over period the ponytail's killing me still I was never
really that much of a fan of it in the beginning but I mean she does what she does she she
she uses it when she needs to
but I don't know
I think it just gets in the way
that that's my opinion everyone
but yeah
the thing that got me super duper hyped
Becky was
pretty much about no
was she about to pin her or was
or was it the other way around
somebody was about it was the other way around
yeah Bianco's about to pin
Becky and then out of
nowhere
ah
Here comes the bus.
It was bus time.
She came sliding, ready to slid into the rig.
I went, ah, yeah, I was hyped.
Because she was supposed to be at SummerSlam,
and that was a big buildup, and it didn't happen.
Did something really get happened to her?
I don't know.
I mean, I was just pissed off that she wasn't there,
because I wanted to see her in it.
but yeah she came in stomped Becky and Becky jumped out and then Bianca Bella and then we're kind of no no no
Bianca Bella climbed out right because I remember Becky and Sasha were standing there in the ring
that was after she took she took uh she beat down Bianca and then her and Becky were kind of looking at each other
and then Becky for some reason thought they were going to shake hands.
And I'm like,
don't trust,
don't ever trust Sasha Banks.
Oh,
backst ever,
ever trust her.
Bianca Bella is just,
she's got a lot of strength.
She carried Sasha Banks,
like over her head up the ramp and everything.
When she picked up Becky during this match and her held her
straight up and body slam.
I mean, she's got like arm strength and upper body strength.
I mean, all these women do.
But I think Bianca Bella as far as just pure strength, I think she's one of them.
Because Becky, man, she's got, yeah, she's in good shape.
But she's not like cut in the arms.
Yeah.
Yes, she's a new mom.
Good.
Right on for you, Becky.
Awesome.
Take care of your kid.
but oh man I don't know I think
what they're doing with
Bianca Belair
I hope they're not just giving her this push and then just
pull it away from her and all right we're going to bring in
somebody new I hope she at least gets this push to
ride it out for a longer and I hope they at some point
she gets she wins the belt back
so I mean I don't know we'll see
what happened to um Naomi
they're doing some kind of
some kind of what did I see
she she's been having problems with
the fuck is her name
she's like a assistant general manager
comes out in the suits and
oh um
damn it yeah her
sonia
is sonia do you bill
they're doing some thing where I guess
she's
they're beefing and last little
flip I saw she had security escort out Naomi out the building so I think they're starting some
kind of feud which I hope because I think Sonia Deville needs to be in the ring and not walking
around in suits and what happened to the I quit thing or you're fired or match or whatever
because that's that last match she had didn't she that was supposed to be it but she never left
supposed to forget that she never left she was like on the
show the next night or whatever.
I don't know.
But we'll see what this
goes with this builds up to.
Well, Sasha Baines get the belt again.
I hope so.
But I see a triple thread match
at some point
with all three of these gals.
And if that's the case,
I think they're going to give all three of them
go hard, period. Because if you
saw the match with
Sasha Banks and Bianca Bellar
Summer, not so much
slam, WrestleMania. That was
like one of the best matches of the night.
And it was a
well-deserved win for Bianca Bella.
Well-deserved loss
for Sasha.
She just let her win. I had
that belt already. I'm going to let you run
for it. And they let it run with it
for like a few months. And then they took it
from her.
Oh, oh,
come on.
All right.
On to the main match.
This one I was excited for.
The head of the table, or the Universal Championship match,
head of the table, Roman reigns, taking on the demon, Finn Baller.
And an extreme rules match, finally.
Yeah.
First and last match is extreme.
Yeah.
Finn Baller, awesome, period.
I love him when he's the demon.
I love the makeup.
I love the little head thing that he comes in.
Wasn't a long entrance.
Thank goodness.
Usually it takes like half hour for him to crawl to the ring.
But he just came out and did what he did.
It went by pretty quick.
I think it was getting closer to the time limit.
And they're probably telling him,
just hurry, you can get to the ring as fast as you can't.
Because that's probably like the fastest I've ever seen him as the demon get to the ring.
get to the ring.
But,
man, this match
was awesome. I loved it.
I was kind of like, yeah, okay.
And at this point, and in the match,
for those you that do,
keep up with all this and some of you
that don't, the demon has never lost.
Technically, he didn't either.
No, he did.
He lost it this, but there was,
I don't know.
we'll get to that in a minute
but I
I knew he wasn't going to win
the demon I knew he wasn't going to
because they can't be pushing
Roman to the head of the table and all this
shit that he's doing now and then
have him lose so
I was like okay
either demon's going to lose or something's going to happen
and something did happen
and I was like okay
I mean CBS graded it to be minus
all right cool but
I thought it was what it was
was i mean fin baller high flyer he's all over the ring roman rains he does what he does
but man i thought this was a good match um but when they went outside of the ring
i was kind of like really not not on what roman did but it was like usually when they go out into
the crowd they kind of really go for it i didn't i didn't think that it went for it that hard
I like when Roman put the mask on
on the crowd
I thought
before they went out into the crowd
because he Roman rains through
the demon out
and he threw him hell afar and he
sold it rolling way out into the crowd
you see
Paul Heyman
hand something to Roman rains
I thought it was another glove for some reason
And I wasn't really paying attention until they show room.
And he's got a mask on over his mouth and his nose.
But I understood why.
At first I was like, what?
But then I was like, okay, he did have the leukemia cancer and everything.
Okay, understandable.
Or you can go by what Corey Graves said.
He doesn't want to breathe the same air as the common people.
Corey.
And I don't know if that was he.
him off the top of his head or maybe that they told him to say it.
But I was like, I understood why he did it.
Because yeah, he, he's got different health issues.
So all right, understandable.
But man, the WWE universe was ruthless.
They were going, ah, why is he wearing that mask and don't fake?
And shut up.
But anyway, I wanted them to go hard when they went out.
into the thing i thought there were he when he threw uh fin baller on top of the the little um kickoff
announcement tables and all that that plexiglass or whatever i thought fin baller was going to go
crash them through that now that would have been awesome but nah no such luck they did what they
did outside the ring then they took it back into the ring but yeah yeah what'd you think of it
all i thought for the most part the match was decent you know i've said before
I'm really starting to be a fan of the whole bloodline and what Romans doing.
But man, today just fuck over the demon with this finish.
Yeah.
Part of me would like to believe that this wasn't even planned and the fucking rope just broke.
And then they changed the finish.
But I know this was somebody's wacky idea.
Yeah.
So, I mean, I don't know how this is going to play out.
But I did not like that finish.
It just kind of seemed, it kind of seemed cheap for him to have never lost his
demon to lose that way.
And for him to, I guess, hurt his leg or whatever he was trying to sell.
It just, I wasn't really buying it either.
And then.
He gets speared and let's say it, one, two, three.
I think the best part for me during all that, I mean,
it was all before that, before the very beginning.
Usos, of course, they were going to show up.
You knew that you were just waiting for them to show up.
But when it happened, oh, man, I thought it was glorious.
oh man he was he was lighting him up uh fin baller because he um he um oh he threw one i don't know jimmy jay one of them
he threw one of them through the announced table uh what is the other one um you have somebody
a sling blade oh yeah that's right so but as he as he has he
was just beating the hell out of them
and he was he was getting
juiced up ah yeah
and you know it was coming
when they step over to that corner
where they have the bell and everything
you know someone's going to go flying
through that thing and that was exactly
what happened
you see
uh uh
uh,
uh,
Finn Baller after he just
destroyed the Usos.
And he's,
ah,
he's hooting in a holl and he turns around and then
out of nowhere.
Roman Rain just spears him
through it.
Oh, man.
I was dying.
But it was what it was.
It was still cool.
I mean,
for that,
for those,
that minute,
I'm sure we won't buy quick.
I was like,
oh,
yeah.
I was excited because Finn Baller was just wrecking house on these fools.
And then Roman came out of nowhere because Roman was laying like in the ring.
And then when Finn Ballard turned around, he goes, he gets bashed and crashed through that corner.
Did you, did you like Finn Baller's Undertaker moment when his music hit and he just rose?
All right.
Yeah, um,
is in Baller was laying there,
a defeated man on the outside of the ring.
Again,
this is extreme rules match,
so no,
no countouts or anything.
Um,
he's laying there.
And then he kind of like convulses or whatever.
And then the,
the lights go red.
I was like,
oh,
come on.
But,
and then he's,
started doing it again, doing a little more jump-ups,
and then he just, yeah, he just gets up.
And they get back in the ring and slams a room around.
And that's when they climbed up onto the top rope.
Ready they're giving them the coop de grace or whatever that you call that.
I don't know how much Finn Baller ways,
but I like when he does that.
when he jumps up comes down but you can see he he lands on whoever he's jumping on but he
bends his knees quick to take most of the force yeah it's almost like his feet slide off kind of
yeah so he was getting ready to do that he was up on the top rope the room is still red
and then as he's about the jump the top belt the rope goes and then the lights immediately come on
he goes falling on the ground.
Yeah, he did not sell that injury at all.
So when the rope broke his powers went away?
I guess.
Chase the demon away.
That's what I was thinking.
I was like, really?
And that's when you knew it was over with.
I was like,
because he gets up and Roman Spears and boom,
one, two, three.
And then that was it.
But the whole, what happened to the role?
Who did it?
And maybe it was just an accident?
If the lights didn't immediately change as soon as he fell,
maybe they could have sold it better as an accident.
The lights came back, we're right back on.
And I was like, I don't know.
I didn't watch Raw.
So I don't know what happened.
because that was a big thing.
They're going to find out who did this and all that.
For some reason,
I was waiting for Barack Lesnar's music to hit
and have him come running out.
Oh, man.
The match was good up to the end.
I did not like the end.
I just thought it was,
really?
That's what you're going to do to the demon again?
Bring malfunction.
Defeats the demon.
Yeah, I mean, I did like when he ran and, once he became the demon again, when the lights were red, he set up the table on the outside and then just ran up and gave Roman Raines like booths first and Roman goes flying backwards.
Crashes onto the table and it bust that up.
I don't know what was up with the big candlestick that he came out with earlier.
Oh, the Ken, it was like four or five candlesticks.
Yeah, it wrapped up.
And the only hit Roman like once or twice with it.
And then it was just, I was like, come on.
But whatever.
I mean, yeah, they did what they had to do.
They pulled out the sticks.
They pulled out the tables, slammed through the tables, went out outside of the ring and did nothing.
But it was what it was.
I thought it was cool.
I did love how soon as Roman came back in from out wrestling in the audience.
As soon as he stepped back in there, that mask came right off.
off.
Either way,
I mean,
I thought it was good.
Finn Baller put in a table earlier
when the lights were just normal.
And he had set up.
Every time he kept,
everyone was screaming tables.
So he finally got one in there.
And it backfired because that's when Roman
picked him up and power slammed him through it.
And either Finn just was selling it just to sell it.
I don't know, it looks like he hit his head and slammed his name.
It looked at whipped when he went through that table.
But I don't know.
But overall, I thought the pay-per-view was pretty good
except for the Charlotte and Alexa Bliss match.
That one was garbage.
Yeah, but I thought all the other matches were awesome.
I mean, I understand people,
this paper view was garbage every WWE.
sucks and I'm like
all right
I mean
you do what you do
I mean the WVE is going to get our money
regardless
gets our money with
Peacock
everyone that goes to the
live events I mean I love going to them
hopefully you can go to
WrestleMania in Dallas next year
and whatever that one
I can't remember what they say when we were at
SummerSlam they announced
another event was going to be there
next year
I don't know if it was
TLC or
one of those ones is happening
at the
the mass Las Vegas Raiders Stadium
I can't remember what it was but I'm gonna go
because I had a good time in there
I want to try to sit closer
but overall man I thought the whole pay-per-view
was cool. It was what it was
I mean I still gonna enjoy it
I know some people just tapped out completely
with WWE since AEW
just kicking ass.
I
A.W hasn't brought anything over
on the West Coast
that I know of.
Usually all their paper views and all that have been happening
for everyone
over there in the east.
But I don't know. I thought they would do like
live house shows, but
I don't know. We're still trying to get back
into the swing of things with
these more than
with big crowds.
I know some places are like
we don't want them.
Some places are like now they're starting to say
you've got to be vaccinated and you've got to prove it
or have a negative COVID test
if you want to go to these things,
be at concerts, wrestling events,
or what have you.
So I don't know.
I mean, but when I watch these things,
especially the pay-per-views and the one I was at,
like the pen,
the pandemic's over once you walk through those doors because nobody was wearing masks.
I don't know.
Two each is on everyone.
I mean,
you think what you is safe for you.
I'm going to wear my mask no matter what.
I've gone to a couple concerts,
kept it on the whole time.
I went SummerSlam kept my mask on the whole time.
So,
but I don't know.
We'll see.
But overall,
again, yeah,
I thought this was a good pay-per-view.
What's the next one?
The crown jewel,
right?
Yeah,
Crown Jewel, Thursday, October 21st.
Is this still like early in the morning for us?
Be 10 a.m. for you, 9 a.m. for me.
This is on a Thursday.
Yeah.
What was it again? Thursday, but what?
October 21st.
If I'm home, I can watch it live.
But if I have to go to work, I'll watch it.
the replay
so
because that first one
they had over there
I did watch it live
because it was early
in the morning here
I know
from what I understand
I could be wrong
don't quote me
one of my friends
said they
because we always had
paper reviews
here in America
on Sunday
for some reason
they're doing on
Saturdays now
but I don't know
why
they can't have
these kind of
events going on
on the weekends
one of my
my buddy said it might be a religious thing.
I don't know.
But it's their country, their rules.
So we just got to follow them.
But either way, I mean, it's cool.
It was weird waking up hell early in the morning to watch a pay-per-view.
But hey, it's wrestling.
We're going to watch it.
Of course, we'll talk about it once it happens.
I still love when they talk about those events over there.
They always show the greatest entrance to the, it was during the greatest Royal Rumble
match.
when Titus O'Neill
came running in
and tripped on one of the mats
and slid under the ring
I still think
he's lucky
it's funny and I loved it
they kept replaying it
I'm glad nothing
there wasn't a beam
or anything right there
yeah
because he'd get him
went head first
into that
but he did
perfectly slid under the ring
oh man
Oh, man.
Awesome.
If you guys ever seen that, just type of Greatest Royal Rumble, Titus O'Neill and have at it.
But I think that's going to be it, everyone, for right now.
Thank you so much for listening.
We got more.
If you're new to wrestle returns, welcome, go back.
And I don't even know what episode this is.
But, yeah, go back.
We've only done a few.
We were kind of still new.
We started this year, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So go back a few.
Yeah, as far as the East Society, we got a new episode coming, and we're going to do a couple of rewinds as well coming.
And we're going to do our what-if episode.
I think it will be covering the last three.
What-if episodes, Marvel Zombies, that one with Kilmonger and the Party Thor.
We're going to be talking about that.
Stupid episode.
I didn't watch it yet.
And also, oh, 31 days of horror coming.
Me and Brian, me solo, me and Mike,
and hopefully get some other people on the Zisu as well at some point.
But everyone just, yeah, go back over to Scaredness,
podcast network and listen to everything over there.
And everyone that does listen to it, thank you so much.
We hit our five-year anniversary.
and everyone that reached out to us, thank you so much.
And yeah, with that, just be safe out there.
And we'll see you guys next time.
So until then, party on.
Make sure to follow the horror returns on social media.
The action returns on social media.
THR presents stream fiends on social media.
Just type it in.
You'll find us.
We got more coming.
Lance has actually worked on the website.
I've seen it.
It's going to be up really soon.
It looks pretty good.
So be on the lookout for that.
And until next time, everybody be safe.
