Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, welcome to another episode of the wrestling returns. What's up, everybody. Welcome back to another episode of the wrestling returns. We're going from France this time to Saudi Arabia. Before we get up, get to all that, I'll be host Brian. With me as always is my brother Ness. What's up, man? We're back, everyone.

If you're listening to the last one, thanks. We're just doing catch-up before Clash at the Castle. that's going on what's today Thursday the 13th yeah more less than two days yeah before uh we dive in everything are you watching the acolyte

uh I've seen the first two episodes I haven't seen a new episode yet I haven't either but I hear there's some uproar uh there's disturbance in the force and I was reading I don't know exactly what happened on the episode, but I was reading on

Facebook and Instagram and everyone's but heard about some characters. I'm like, oh, yeah, hear about all that on the East Society, everyone. We'll dive into that and I'll start bitching and complain on how everyone's stupid.

But anyway, uh, king and queen of the ring 2024. Um, was this the first time they named it this? second. Okay. I don't remember last year. Who was Queen

last year? Was it Queen Zelina? Yeah, she was supposed to be in this tournament, but she got hurt. Well, he probably got hurt again after Broadstrobing. He forgets how small people are

sometimes. Sorry, everyone. The cough's still there. But overall, I thought this was decent. I mean, crowd, of course they're always hyped in Jetta um not as hyped as as the guys in france guys and gals in france but it was still it was still good i did not realize that there was a kickoff match so i just watched it right before we started recording this because i was going on to peacock

and what was the kickoff match it was bianca bell air and jade cargo taking on uh can Candice Luray and Indy Hartwell. Let's hashtag, let's break up Bianca and Jade. Yeah. If you guys remember in France, how Bianca was limping around because you heard her knee, and she's still riding that out in this one, because Candace Luray kept going after the ESD's bad knee. I like the heel turn from Candice, though.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again until they do her some justice. But Kansas Luray is better, better than what they think. But I don't know. We're not running the show. Indy Hartwell, she's getting better as she moves along. I do like her when she's in the ring and everything. So, but putting these two, these two little gals up against them.

I was like, hmm, and Jade Cargo, she didn't, she didn't do much. but when she first came into the ring, Bianca was first, but then she was getting the hell beating out of her, and then she finally got to the corner and tagged. Jade, and then Jade came in, threw her arms up like she does,

and everybody was, ah, ooting and hollering, and then they went to work. The match was all right. It wasn't the greatest, but it looks like Kansas Array did get hurt, because when she was a Bianca,

yeah, She went after Bianca's leg first, and then Bianca, I think she kicked her out of the ring. And the way Candace landed, she landed on her feet, but then, like, folded backwards and it looked like her feet, folded the other way. Well, it happened really quick. I mean, they show it, but she got back in the ring and she was all good, but she was kind of limping around too. So hopefully nothing hurt, but the only move that stood out. to me was the um they did candis dirty they got her up jade carger was holding her by the legs uh bianca grabbed her gave her the ddt and then while jade was still holding her legs so she bounced and then bianca

kicked uh or basically just boosted up kansas lorry all the way over into a suplex and she slammed hell hard and then jade jumped over and pinned her and that was the end of it so yeah see they don't do enough of that stuff it's i don't i don't know it's like they're they're not a real i don't feel like they're a real tag team but it definitely shows that they're not real tag team because they got a couple of double team moves but it's mostly just one-on-one offense they have yeah I mean sorry everyone

trying to get all this popcorn out of my teeth just got home from the movies but I guess if you want to I don't know how long the little tag team is going to run but

when I've said this before I mean at some point those two are going to go at it well who would you make heel out of those two because Bianca's one of the face of the women's division.

Jade's the new star. She would have to go heal, Jade. I mean, Bianca, if she does go heal at some point, not now. I mean, she's too happy to dancing and everything.

I can't imagine her just walking into the ring and trying to be all rough and tough. Jade already does that. So she comes in and throws her hands up and does a little span and everyone's hooting and on so I mean and Bianca's got

both of them Bianca's beautiful and Jade as well but Jade's got that that don't fuck with me look on her face so if anything I would see her

Maybe Jay's someone to cut the cut the braid off Maybe we will see but I mean overall man it was a decent

match really fast. It didn't last too long because they were trying to hurry up and get this thing going. They didn't even grade it on CBS sports. Looking here, the match was eight minutes and five

seconds. It flew by fast. Took them longer all to get into the ring. But Jessica was out there with them. So I was cool. And I get it. I mean, you're in a different country and you got to go by their rules because the women were all pretty much covered up.

So they had the body suits on. So I was like, all right, I mean, I don't understand it. I mean, it's not, I don't live there. And I don't know what their beliefs are and everything. So, but yeah, it's their country. It's their rules. Body suits are a lot better than when they were wearing those t-shirts. Yeah, that was, that was a little rough.

I mean, I love Natty and she's beautiful. But, yeah, that big giant t-shirt on her. Yeah, it's a body. suit with the big giant t-shirt over it I'll say what's going on here well I'm sure I mean

I'm not is there a roof over this place I didn't I didn't notice I don't know I don't think so because at one point I think it was Corey or whoever one of them was like they were like man it's hot in here

so I assume there wasn't a roof over it and I don't know how hot it other than they got the lights on them as well so but man I have a fan or something under me blowing up but all right that was the kickoff now on to the premium live event or whatever the hell they call it now the first match the women's world championship Becky Lynch taking on live Morgan again I got it got to cover up but Becky wait what was happening here i mean baby girl what were you wearing

she's a superhero looked like a business suit or something with that oh wait yeah collar yeah i was like what the hell is this i mean yeah seriously it looked like uh a business suit um she kind of looked like she's about to go wait tables

something she had that big ass collar and everything. I was kind of like, damn, what's going on here? So, but she came out doing her thing. And then Liv came out in her little red body suit.

Ah, Liv. All I got to say is, Liv, we did it. Back on top. Wait till Mommy comes back. We can wreck everybody. Mommy's going to be back on top. Well, this, this works out perfectly because I think everything happens for a reason.

Because if you go back to when Liv got hurt, she got hurt by Ria and then come back, Liv hurts, Liv hurts Ria, puts her out. It didn't look like she slammed that hard into the wall. So, I mean, maybe it was just whatever. Doesn't take much. Yeah, whatever was torn or whatever was probably hanging on by a thread. And then just that bump to the wall, snapped it. And she was out.

But, yeah, Becky, what are you wearing? Big, big collars. I mean, it looks like a business suit. Hanging out with her husband too much. Does he come up with his own stuff? Or did they go, here, you need to wear this. From what I understand, they got a whole team of people that work in the wardrobe and I guess they collab together with the wrestlers. Like if they have an idea or something, I guess they just make it.

I guess. What did you think of this first match or second match? It was a decent match. It went out how I wanted it to go out because I think this just sets up an even. bigger match for for real when she comes back i think that's just going to because ria is already top of the game and just over with the fans and i think to to have her come back and win the title from the person that took her out i think that's going to be a major thing i don't know if it's going to happen anytime soon because i'm hearing different things about her injury about how long

she's going to be out but it worked out for the best uh i'm kind of over becky i kind of kind of felt like live should have had this belt over becky in the first place when they did that tournament on raw yeah i was like really i mean how many times as becky had it but i i read something about they they wanted live to win on a bigger stage than just a random monday night raw and i was like sure that sounds good but you guys are just given the belt to becky one more time which you think she's gone who Becky you hear the rumors because their contracts up um I don't think so I mean I think they're paying her well I mean she's she's good for business I mean she sells it and she everyone loves her so she can either just take the money she has to stay home and

be mom or have another baby but I don't know maybe she's going to take a break and then think she would come back sometime think she would entertain the idea of going somewhere else uh

I mean everyone seems to be going to AEW I mean I think if she did go help a smaller company I mean the TNA a ring of honor whatever else is out there Tony Conn owns ring up

honor so well she essentially would be working for him yeah well go to one of them I mean go go to a smaller one if you end up going

if you go to ring of honor and do that and then go to AEW what's the second AEW the what's the second show that's on Saturdays.

Oh, collision? Yeah. I was going to say collateral. I don't even watch Collision. Or a rampage. What they made. They made for CMPUG and now you don't work there. Tony. It just seems like all the stories are true.

He just wants to be one of the guys instead of the boss. Well, you better let someone else do it then. If you want to just be one of the guys but we'll see i mean i don't know if she stays home she stays home if not i mean she got none to prove she can take a break for a while and just be at home i know uh their daughter is with him on the road i'm not sure if set came out to this maybe he stayed home with her or maybe he's just in the back i i don't know but

he ain't going to be in captain america no more I don't know. How hurt was he after WrestleMania? From what I read, extremely hurt. He's going to be out for a while. Because he could hardly walk. He wrestled, he wrestled injured. I mean, I'll give it to him.

Maybe he was just waiting for that break, but... Wrestled injured, lost his title, had to have surgery, got his scene from Captain America cut out the movie. It's a bad year for him. you cut it out why something about the reshoots how it didn't didn't fit with the story it'll be on the blue ray it'll be on youtube at some point but this match um i was shocked i wasn't i just figured becky would just still be the champ i wasn't wasn't ready for the loss so i mean i was

like like whoa okay that's what they're doing but i see what they're doing now with the the storyline of live and uh dirty dom and all that and mommies can come back at some point yeah they're laying they're setting out the pieces for it uh with the whole live revenge tour of her trying to take everything arras because i know you've been seeing the clips of her and dom yeah Yeah, so It's a strong man, Dom, you're a strong man. I saw the meme. It was like the wife with his wife.

And then the girlfriend. And it was mommy and then the side chick. And it was live. I was like, damn. Yeah, because he just got married like a month ago or two months ago. Oh, man. I mean, this match went back and forth, both of them, beating the hell out of each other. And I'm sure being all wrapped up head to toe wasn't good.

I'm sure it was hot in there. But they never really show the whole ceiling. So I can't tell if there is a roof or not. But the crowd was hyped, man. Everyone except for the people in the front. And I know those are, I don't know, it was like royalty or whatever, but they were hardly moving. They were just there. It was like everyone behind them with the signs and they were all hooting and hollering.

I mean, at one point, there was a girl right in the front on her phone the whole time. I was like, damn. Why are you even there? But I don't know. I was laughing. I mean, I really paid attention to everybody. uh in the crowd oh there's that seampunk sign it went down really quick i should have read it but yeah man they were hyped and everything and again like i said i was shocked that uh becky dropped

the belt but i mean again we see what they're doing in the story and everything because uh becky was beaten that hell out of live pretty much the whole the whole match in and out of the ring slamming her around and everything but then uh live pulled it out in the end so thanks to next to dirty town

to dirty down but when when Becky jumped off the top rope and then kicked uh live Morgan a hell of hard man her neck whipped and she went

ah but she just rolled rolled over and kept going man I was waiting for someone to pull those big collars off of Becky they look like they wouldn't fall off but there wasn't but yeah I mean

again shocker to me I was I was real surprised on what was going on at the end of this but I wasn't went all according to plan ah live Morgan

well you don't have that stupid blue tongue anymore I hate it that bring that tongue back i will supply the blue jolly ranchers for you the riot squad bring the right well ruby ruby's out yeah she's

she's gonna be a mom she pretty she already give her kid or she's still i think that when they announced it she was like just at the beginning yeah your girl's pregnant too so she can't come back either no

everyone man just having kids i mean good for you i don't have kids but they can bring what's her name back live be hanging out with uh fuck is their name rusev's wife oh um la i was about to say cj yeah that's the real name yeah her and ruseb broke out oh they did yeah she needs to bring that russian accent back I just disappeared. Dirty Dom came out with his arm in the sling and lives stealing the codebreaker. I'm surprised they didn't try to name him something else.

I know they were, but I mean, that move is it's codebreaker. So what can you do? But yeah, lives climbing up top. Dirty Dom is just standing there. I saw one video I guess he was outside somewhere and everyone was Ah Dom fuck you and all this

And he walked up to him Just kind of looked at gave him a glare And then just threw his arm up and then walked away But I mean he's playing the role man Good good for him I mean just stay k-fabed all the way Like Dom threw in through in the chair I see some interviews

where he does where he still stays in character even when they ask him questions about his as he put his deadbeat dad yeah he slid that chair in there and then he jumped up onto the onto the edge

and distracted because then Becky DDT'd live onto it and but then Liv jumped out No, she did that to Becky. Yeah. And then she flipped over and then sat on Becky's chest and pinned her. Yeah, I see somebody else had to grab that chair out the ring.

Yeah. It didn't quite slide out. I was like, whose hands were those? Yeah. Oh, man. At some point, of course, we see, I mean, Dom's going to just F it and start making out with, with Limmorekin because she's been kissing him

and she's been coming out during his matches but we'll see how it goes. Last Monday on Raw she was at the Judgment Day hangout area sitting there waiting for him. He was just like no, no, no, no, no, no.

Oh man, we'll see. But they graded that match of minus. I would have gave it a B. It was decent. But the next one, Intercontinental Championship. Sammy Zine.

Taking on Shorty G. Chad Gable and Bronson Reed. All right. Otis, I mean, he is who he is. But he was just there for

a bit with Sammy Zane. Of course, man. He's big. Bronson Reed, I love him, but I don't know, man. I think I think they're wasting him. I'm glad that they brought him back because he was gone for a while.

Did he go to TNA? Is that where you went? Yeah. Forgot what he went by, but he was there. Yep. And Sammy came out. I don't know

what he, what they call that, what he was wearing because I think he's Muslim. Yeah, he's Muslim. So, and a lot of people were saying, No, it's just fake.

It's just a gimmick. No, he's all about that. So that was really cool. It speaks to language and everything. So because everyone, everybody loves him. Because he did the crowd. He came out and went down both sides and everyone hugging him and cheering him. So, man, good for him.

I wasn't that big of a Sammy Zane fan. But, I mean, he's starting to grow on me. I mean, he seems like he's a good guy. What would you say when he's a good guy? became Sammy Uso? Oh, I don't know. He was just doing what he was told. I mean, he was a part-time Uso or whatever.

They were called him. Oh, man, Sammy Zing. But, yeah, this one, you figured Bronson Reed would have just destroyed both of them. But, I mean, he's a big guy. so but a little shorty g man he wasn't the greatest but he mean he puts in his work he does go for it the alpha academy and all that nonsense

it's because bronson rees is made just throwing them in the corners shoddy g is trying to give him chops and it's not even doing anything on bronson reen chopped him threw him against the wall or the corner and then he picks him up i got had a handful of balls and he just he did shorty j jumped out runs and reeds that he climbed out of the ring all right camera guys you guys are doing a good job um he must have threw uh chad gable because but they didn't show it because the camera guys messed up but then uh sammy zane came diving out onto bronson reed so all right with the replay with that so but i mean this they they went hard i mean especially i mean they have to

I mean, Sammy, especially Sammy Zane. I mean, he's a champ, and he's all about it. So it was good. And in Bronson, Reed, he can never go soft. He's always got to be hard and just wreck fools. But you're right there, Ms. Susan, at this point, he might as well be part of the bloodline since they're having non-family members. Just having issues. Oh, man.

this part was cool. Brunton Reed grabbed Chad Gable, kind of had him a small little headlock. Samizane came jumping off the top over the, not the top, the second rope. He caught, Brunton Reed caught Sammy Zane in the air by the throat and then just, blah, slammed him right on top of Chad Gable. So that was, I was like gave him a body slam. Both of them went crash into the ground. But they overpowered Bronson Reed now he's laying in the corner all beat up

but Otis man he was out there he was ready to dive in into this um he does he still do the worm and all that uh yeah he don't do it as much

because they tried to make him like a more serious what's her name started doing the worm the reverse worm maxine which I I'll give it to her. She's hanging in there all the hate she's getting.

And I do see the improvements. What is Bronson Reed? He's from, is he Australia or New Zealand? I think New Zealand. Okay. Double check. He is from Australia. Okay.

I know he's got that accent. Oh man, he tried to, uh, I guess the Simone drop He tried to do that Sammy Zay jumped out of it Power slammed him Now Sammy's trying to pick up Bronson Reed but can't

So he just starts whimping him to the back of the head But oh Almost got him up and then dropped him again Look like he heard his back I don't know what short of G at I think he's laying on the outside dead But they're going back to the corner Bronson Reed puts up Sammy Zane on top

now here he comes took the back the back knee of Bronson Reed now he's out Chad Gable climbs up to the second row picks up Sammy Zane for a suplex goes to the top rope Sammy Zane with the

kidney shots but Bronson Reed comes up between Chad Gable's legs for a big super play and both of his uncle crash it looks like Bronson Reed heard his knee because he's lipping around Otis is right there mean mugging him.

Oh, Bronson Reed, top rope. Here you go, Sammy Zane lane there. Oh, Moonsaw. There's nobody home. Shorty G. He connected with Bronson Reed. I only got him down for the two count before Sammy Zane came in and broke it up. So, but overall, this match was pretty good.

I liked it. Mainly for Bronson Reed, because he just wrecks how. and Chad Gaywell, man, I know he's not a fan favorite, but I think at some point, I see a belt on him. I don't know which one, but other than a tag team champion, I mean, I see him with something. I think eventually he's going to have this title. I can see it. I mean, let's Sammy Zane write it out for a while. And, I mean, he does good.

it's not like he's just i mean he was kind of a the comic relief but man but he when he's when he's doing his thing man he's been doing it for a while too so i think at some point uh they should put a belt on him i don't know how he's going to have it but yeah he got to reward and he went through that whole shorty jeep storyline thing

yeah what happened to the 24 seven belt is that still out what's the name uh tried to throw it in the trash once you want and missed it damn what is her name um Nikki Nikki Cross where she at she's just taking a break

yeah I think she has some injuries but she's also rumored for the whole wide six thing well she did she got a degree because I've seen pictures as she graduated for something I don't remember exactly what it is

so I mean good for her man she took advantage of being hurt and I did something with it but um shit I was gonna say something I forgot but I don't know we'll see but I mean again this match was cool I mean I enjoyed it at first I was kind of like eh all right because like I said I figured Bronson Reed would just throw them excuse me all over the place all right put Shottie G up on the top rope got Sammy Zane on his back now Shottie G the double Samoan drop Is he Samoan?

Yeah, I think so. Okay. He kind of looks like my wife's cousin. When I first saw him, I was like, well, wait. I thought that was him, was not. He's pretty big, man.

Yeah, he is Samoan. Whoop, through the second rope, crashed into both of them. I don't know, man. I know you got to catch the guys when they come out, but when it's someone big, big like that man you gotta you gotta better just prepared to take that that force right now he's back up to the top rope jemmy zane rolled out of the way missed again nobody home but here comes shoddy g ah german

suplex to sammy zane for a second one oh wow watch the back your head uh going for a third one looks like he's running out of gas Sammy starts giving him the elbows to the side of the ear watch your ear to him and those things don't pop oh German suplex Chad Gable takes one He gets another one from Sammy Zane

Where's Bronson Reed? He was standing there Must be huffing and puffing in the corner Ah here he comes He grabs both of them We'll grab Sammy Zane Sam he's holding on the Chad Gable He starts giving it an elbows to the ear He spins around goes to the back

a Bronson Reed then Ah, God, picked up both of them. Chad Gable. Sure, his super legs, both of them. But good thing they jumped. You see that when they go forward and then leap back.

So good for him. But even still, man, see, put a belt on this man. He's out here picking up 300-pound dudes. So, yeah, man. I mean, they were going. hard in this one and Otis kept trying to interfere but he's standing there can he put it can Otis put his arms down I mean he's just he's a big guy

I don't know how tall he is either but it seems like he can't put his arm down because that's where they're at permanently I mean I don't have big guns or anything so I'm just talking shit he's standing there and Chad Gable jumped out and he's yelling at Otis and Otis don't want to do nothing but Otis is kind of just All right Sammy Zinn can like barely stand And then Otis is walking around back and forth Like all right should I do something

Should I do something? And then here he comes He stops he wasn't about to do anything Now Chad Gable's in his face Yell and Adam I don't know what they're saying But And Otis how tall is These guys

Oh Look up how tall Chad Gable is Because him and Otis are the same size because they're like eye to eye and he's screaming at him. Chad Gable is 5-8. Okay, so he's like an inch shorter than me.

Otis is 5-10. Well, does Chad Gable have heels on? Because they were like eye to eye. Might have been standing on his toes. Otis came flying in and a close line

or tried to close the line Sammy Zaman Sammy jumped out of the way and then it closed line Chad Gable and he did shh now Sammy jump back in the ring Dizh a little kick to Bronson Reed he falls one two three and that's it

this match Shorty's laying there and Otis is all oh man yeah he's laying there dead he's not even moving he's laying their face down so but this was a good match man

i loved it i thought i thought they were going hard uh cb sports they gave it a a a b i gave it an a i enjoyed it they had the awesomeness and then they had the the laughs it probably might have been one of the best matches of the night yeah when is the summer slam happening summer slam is here come these two idiots

dumbass uh uh uh Austin theory what they call them themselves A town

down under down and the DIY is hanging out and those two guys man they're doing them dirty and the street profits with BFAB

they're out there I'm sorry BFAB is trash she um that whole hit Grove group That was there they only put them together for a swerve

Yeah, and they only brought them back because they thought they can get swerved back But he's a EW champion right now He swerved out the way with the opposite direction Uh, somerslam Cleveland, Ohio August 3rd All right So we got Well that's like two weeks

weeks before or after Comic Con. I'm going to that panel. So if you guys are in there, look for me. I don't know where I'll be, but I'm going to be in that room because I love going to that. I think if you've never been to San Diego Comic Con, it's a Mattel panel, but also WWE because they announce all the new the new figures, the next wave of whatever is coming out. The last time that I went,

It was 2018. I think it was 2018 because Eric was with me. We went in there. He didn't know anybody except for Matt Hardy. He came out. And he wanted to, their line is called the Elite Squad. He was calling it the Delete Squad. He came out.

And everybody went, ah, everybody went nuts. And then he came out. And then the whole delete thing started. So I thought that was really cool But I think the best one that I ever went to Don't remember the year But it was when

The New Day What was there cereal called? Boutios. Yeah, it was when that serial came out I mean, we knew it was coming But Kofi Kingston came out with a box And he was dancing with it And it was right when Pokemon Go was like at when it first came out um Xavier Woods was holding up his phone and

catching Pokemon and all this and uh uh big E he was out there dancing and shaking it man they had that place on their feet I was right in that front row too do you ever get a box no I didn't um but I got a handful from Kofi because when the pet panel was over he was handing out handfuls of cereal to everybody that that up so they're hard to get they don't sell it anymore no i mean i think it did good i mean i don't i only had it the one time but it's the was it funco who made it because they're the ones that made made all those cereals but all the cereals tastes the same they're just different colors but all right on to the next match the

queen of the ring finals uh the beautiful my girl nia jacks and how do you say her name uh lyra valkiria yeah her she came out

i was this i was like okay i mean i get it but nijax man she she is a former champion she had a WrestleMania moment and was it Ford or a New Orleans when she won it was that year the Hardy Boys came back oh what was it when she when she wrestled Alexa Bliss yeah and the match was going so well until

she had that when they tried to be dramatic right before she finished with Alexa she was like I loved you I was like what did we do it? That was a crazy combo when they were at it. I mean, nice, she's still a big gal. She did lose some weight because I follow her on all her things. And she lost some,

because she's not as big as, because it was pictures of her when she was first on. And now, so she's still a big gal. I mean, I'm not a picky man. Either way, but I'm down.

So, but not for her to sit on my chest, though. Like, can't do that, man. I'm definitely stopped my heart. What do they call that move? The annihilator?

She was Lyra, she was just jumping on her and Naya was just throwing her around, swatting her like flies. She kept jumping on the back, but I do love the cartwheels that she does every now and then. I mean, Naya can't do much,

trying to tell him to get up but that guy's holding his chest I don't know who this ref is but he's doing he's selling it good he's like he's laying there like he's in pain Logan's slowly getting up on his knees.
