Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, welcome to another episode of the wrestling returns.
All right, everybody, here we go.
We're here to talk about money in the bank, 2021.
Crowds are back.
Nez, were you excited for this one?
Yeah, I was.
I mean, after the last few pay-per-views, I mean, minus WrestleMania when they had the audience there.
It was good to see everyone in there.
I saw a couple masks.
That was about it.
But this took place in Texas, at Fort Worth, Texas at the, not Dickie.
Yeah, Dickies Arena or whatever.
So, but you can definitely feel the crowd.
And I think every performer felt it as well because everybody was juiced.
I mean, even during the, did you watch the kickoff?
The Uso's and the Mysterios?
Yeah.
Yeah, I caught part of that.
That was actually pretty good because, I mean, the buildup for it,
I was kind of like, okay, well, we'll see.
But, I mean, I thought they did pretty good.
All right, here's a question.
Dominic Mysterio.
Do you think they just moved them forward because of who his dad is?
Yes, absolutely.
I see a lot of potential on him, and I really wish they did that Prince Mysterio thing they were talking about where he gets a mask.
But I think they are moving him along fast.
I mean, his debut was against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam, and he's already been a tag champ with his dad.
And I don't know.
It's just a little too fast, but I think it has a lot to do with who his father is.
I mean, I think he's got heart.
I mean, he's out there doing it.
And I think he does, the few messups that, that happened during this match, I mean, you could see it in his face.
Like, he's like, oh, fuck.
But, I mean, he kept it moving.
And I'm sure his dad and everyone else that he's work with him, man, no matter what, you mess up, keep going.
Because, I mean, he didn't, he didn't skip a beat.
You could see that there was some mess ups.
But then again, everybody messes up.
I mean, even all the other performers that have been doing this forever.
So, yeah, there had, there was a lot of,
mistakes during this
whole pay-per-view and when we get to the
to the main event, there was one. I was like, well,
what's happening? But
overall, I mean, I thought this match was really good.
I mean, the Uso's, Jimmy and Jay,
which was the one that came back
that was out for a long time.
That would be
Jimmy. I think.
Don't quote me on that one.
Yeah. I'm sorry everyone
with late. But
when he when whichever one came back
because he was gone for a long time
I think he had like
torn ligaments or a rotator cuff or something
I can't remember what they said
but it was good to see both of them back in action
they still kind of doing
the heel run
but not as bad as they were when they were
like gangsters or whatever the hell they were
a couple years ago
but
the Usai
penitentiary?
Yeah.
I was like,
huh.
What are they called
the bloodline?
And now?
I kind of like that.
I like that.
The table is strong.
Yeah.
But I mean,
all four of them,
they did an amazing job.
I mean,
the one that,
um,
the move that got me,
like made me go,
ah,
like I,
like,
jumped out of my chair when I was watching.
This is when,
um,
the,
uh,
they did a pop-up.
With one of the one of the one of the one of the usos popped up a ray mysterio and just threw it into a Samoan drop and it was so perfect and it was a little sloppy, but it still looked awesome.
Because I mean, these guys are all they're all high flyers and they're just constantly moving all over the place.
So I thought it was really good.
I mean, the 619 that Ray was going to do.
And I'm sorry everyone.
I mean, you can tell who's who because like one of the six.
of them got red hair, but I can't remember.
But one of the Uso's was in position.
I mean, the thing that always makes me laugh, though,
right before he does the 619,
whoever his opponent is,
some guys sell it good by like
something happens and they fall into position.
Whichever one of the Uso's were is like,
it was a little sloppy. You could see them,
they crawled into position.
I was like, oh.
But, I mean, it's,
It was still a cool move when Ray does it.
And he went to do the 619.
Either Jimmy or J, one of them that was set up.
The other one jumped in the way and took most of the force of the kick.
So I thought that was really cool.
And Dominic was flying all over the ring as well.
There's times where you can see it in his face is like you can see the nervousness in his expression.
But, I mean, he still performs.
He still does what he's supposed to do.
He's not afraid.
to do these high-flying moves.
So I thought this match was awesome.
The Uso's, the Mysterios were the champs in the beginning,
and then the Uso's now they're the new Smackdown tag team champions.
I mean, overall, I mean, I thought it was a really good match.
It was, it was like moving constantly.
I mean, there was never a time where it slowed down.
It was like boom, boom, boom, everybody,
when they all weren't in the ring or if they were all on the outsides,
jumping around on each other, I thought it was really good.
I am on CBSSports.com and they gave this a B.
And I can agree with that.
Yeah, I agree with that.
You're right.
It was moving, which these two teams together, that's what I expect.
I expect like high-paced action, some high-flying stuff.
And yeah, a couple of mistakes there.
But, you know, Dominic's still learning.
And are we going with Jimmy is the one that came back?
yeah okay
Jimmy
he's you know
he's still got a little ring rust
to work out but
yeah overall I would
definitely agree with that grade
all right
um on to the
I assume this is
on order um
the women's money in the bank match
with uh Oscar Naomi
Alexa Bliss
uh Nikki
ASH or whatever
the hell she's calling herself now
Nikki Cross
I still love her.
Like the almost superhero.
Liv Morgan.
She's hot, but I didn't like the makeup she had on her face.
I thought it looked kind of like clownish.
I thought I looked dumb.
Zalina Vega.
Good to see her back in action.
Natalia, I've always loved her.
Tamina, I love her too, but I liked when, I mean, I said this before,
when she was all in black.
this ring gear that she's got now.
I don't know.
Maybe I just need to get used to it.
But, yeah, she is what she is.
But, I mean, overall, I thought these CBS sports,
they graded this match a C plus.
I mean, I would have gave it a B
because I thought they all went hard.
I mean, they weren't afraid to take the falls on the ladders.
They weren't afraid to take the hard bumps.
At one point, everyone teamed up on Alexa Bliss and threw all the ladders on top of her.
She's a little gal, and I didn't like her before, but I like what's happening now.
I mean, not so much the crazy magic tricks or whatever she does, but I'm digging the black eyeliner and the black lipstick and all that.
But I do have that feeling.
she's going to change at one point.
I do like her.
It's not Sister Abigail.
She calls it something else.
But it's set up like that,
but then she kind of adds a little twist to it.
I like that move she does.
Oscar's just badass, period.
The Empress of Tomorrow.
Tamina, she's just a brute.
And there was times that it looked like she did connect with those super kicks.
You can see the ones where she does pull back,
but there was a couple of times it looked like some of the,
these gals,
gals took the hard force of her foot.
But sorry about the screaming.
My grandson's getting riled up.
Getting rid of bed.
But, um,
Liv Morgan,
she does what she does.
She took some hard bumps as well.
Zalina Vega did as well.
Um,
the thing that was funny that made me laugh was Alexa Bliss when she came into the ring,
how she just stood up on the ropes while everyone was coming in.
And then once they all started battling.
and she just stood there and watched.
And what was that shit when after everyone cleared the ring and she was skipping around,
then she held up her hand to the briefcase.
I mean, I was like, please don't make that thing move or fall down or something.
She is a former miss money in the bank, but I was like, what the fuck is happening?
I thought she was fitting to levitate.
Yeah.
I'm like, what's happening?
But I guess you just do what the development says.
I mean, I like how she looks and I do like her what she does in the ring.
But this magic whatever spells she does, I'm, what would Bray White do to her?
What they do to Bray White?
Yes.
I don't know.
What did you think of overall,
out of everyone performing in this match?
I thought everybody performed good.
There was some good bumps taken in this one.
There was times when I felt like people didn't know
what they were supposed to be doing
or where they needed to be.
And it was kind of obvious on some,
a little disappointed,
live didn't get it,
because they did a nice buildup for her on SmackDown
because she wasn't selected
and then she was just kind of going through people
winning and just kind of earned her way on there.
So I thought that would have been a nice story for.
Zelina Vega, love Zelina Vega.
Glad that she's back.
I wouldn't mind if she won,
but I just, I don't see them letting her get it,
you know, after being fired and coming back,
quick I kind of thought she was gonna get it at one point but then Alexa
Blige ran up there and they kind of did a a face off and then she hypnotized
her I was like oh come on but I mean they both sold it good so I was like oh okay
but I mean I got to give it to Natty um she's been and she's been at this a long
time I from there was saying she was the last
of the what they
called the heart dungeon
the dungeon
yeah
I don't know
whatever it's called
like they said it
but I can't remember
but um
uh
that show
total divas or whatever
the hell
she all she did was crying
cry and cry on that show
and it made me hate her
but as far as in the ring
the power of Natalia
uh when
Alexa Vega jumped on her back
and she
climbed pretty much to the top of that ladder.
I don't know how much Alexa Vega weighs, but man, I'll give it to Natty.
She climbed all the way up pretty much to the top of that ladder.
I was waiting for her to, like, fall back, but I don't know if these gals want to take that
hard bump off the high ladders.
I mean, they did fall off the ladders a few times, but I was like, well, and speaking
of crawling up to the biggest ladder, which.
was on the outside of the ring, a Nikki ASH.
There's been many videos, if you guys follow a wrestle botch on Instagram,
when guys climb up to the top of ladders and then like leap off.
But there's no, those ladders are just aluminum.
And when you try to push off, I mean, they're so light, they go with it.
But I wasn't sure I had to rewind it and watch.
I wasn't sure if the refs or somebody or even cameraman were like holding that,
ladder in place. But no, man, she got up there and she got a good jump. She didn't jump as far as she
wanted to go. Yeah, because that ladder as soon as she foot, as soon as her foot left it,
that ladder moved. Yeah. So, but I was glad she at least made it and landed on everyone.
It looked like she landed wrong, but she, she was all right. She at least sold it good. And everyone
did because everyone falls. I mean, it looks goofy when everyone gets in this big group because
you know someone's going to
jump high or
off the, when they're all
on the outside of the ring.
It's always cool when they do that,
but I don't know, for some reason, I'm like,
why are they all in this one big group just to catch
everyone but that's part of the show?
But I thought
they all went hard.
I mean, nobody was afraid to take
bumps, like I said.
But the ending, what did you think
of the ending? Right before
she grabbed the case.
I didn't care for it.
I mean, everybody was up there
fighting with each other,
and then Nikki just kind of sneaks up there
and grabs the case, and that was the match.
And I just, for, I don't know,
for someone that's doing a superhero gimmick,
I didn't want to see her just kind of sneak in there
and get it.
Well, she pretty much did,
because everyone was up there.
What was there?
Six of them?
One, two, three.
Seven of eight.
Eight of them.
So seven of them were up all on the ladders, all fighting each other.
Nikki was actually on the outside of the ring.
And you see her roll into the ring and just as she's climbing up the ladder.
I can't remember who was on the ladder.
She climbed up.
They clearly moved out of the way so she could.
So she could climb up.
But I was happy.
with it I've always like Nikki Cross I mean even when she was wild and crazy in
NXT I'm not sure if this was her idea to do yes she she pitched this idea to
the to the higher-ups and they said let's let's try it out and yeah she she
got it as soon as she got that case she held it up and then jumped down and
then ran at the stage so I was happy and you can clearly see the crowd
other than the shock of everyone's faces when she won.
But you could see her fans in there,
ah, hooting and hollering.
So I thought it was a good win.
I liked it.
I liked the whole match.
I liked the way it went.
And I was happy with her winning.
So, but to flash forward to Monday Night Raw.
Well, I guess I don't want to jump forward and talk about another match.
We'll do that later.
But on to the next one.
I wasn't really feeling this match at first because I'm not a fan of the Viking writers.
I'm just a hater because Eric is with, what's her nuts?
Sarah Logan.
And they just knocked their out.
Yeah, I'm a hater.
I mean, I loved Sarah Logan.
And now she's at home with a little kid.
I mean, good for them, though.
They had like a Viking marriage ceremony.
Yeah.
Okay, I mean, to each is on everyone, I'm not hating on what they did.
I mean, I do follow both of them on Instagram, and they're always doing the family thing, which is good.
I love that.
They're not just, I'm sure he's on the road a lot, but they do a lot of family stuff, so that's good.
But the next match, the raw tag team championship match, AJ Stiles, and is it almost?
Or almost?
Oh, yeah, either or.
It took on the Viking Raiders, Eric, and what's the other guy's name?
Ivar.
Yeah.
I was kind of like, really?
I mean, omas, almost, whatever.
I liked him in the Rolemba when he came in and was just wrecking house and everything.
But I've said this many, many times.
Big guys only have a handful of moves.
but I did like this match
I thought they went hell hard
and um
I bar man I was laughing and it gets
it makes me happy when he does the car wheels and everything
because he's a big guy
and almost or almost whatever
when he picked him up and power slammed him
I'm like damn
um that guy
ibar's got at least be
300 plus
uh
and I mean
Of course, his muscle and he's a big guy,
but when he picked him up and powerbomb him,
and then at the other time where he almost got,
like, pretty much got him over his head
and slammed him on the ground.
I was like, damn, that guy's huge.
I mean...
Yeah, Ivar is 6-2-305.
Yeah, so...
But almost is...
He is 7-3-400 pounds.
Where did he come from?
What was he doing before this?
I think he...
I think someone said he was playing.
He tried to play ball or something.
I mean, he's one of the guys that just can stand under the basket
and throw it to him and he just put it in.
He don't need to jump.
AJ styles, the little shrimp at all for these guys.
But man, he was still flying around there and doing it.
I did love the part when he jumped off the ropes and ran
and almost picked him up and threw him out the real.
on to the Viking Raiders.
I thought that was cool.
But the CBS Sports graded this match, a B-minus.
And like I said, I wasn't really feeling this matchup.
But once it got going, I thought this was a really good match.
What did you think?
Yeah, this was definitely one I wasn't looking forward to.
But after the match got going, I was entertained.
Not, not, I'm not, I don't want to say I'm not a fan of the Viking Raiders.
and thank God they're not the Viking experience or whatever the WWE tried to do.
But I like them.
I think they need a push for a good tag team run as champs.
Because there's not too many in WWE.
There's just a lot of teams that are just thrown together, not actual real tag teams.
I like to see a real tag team at the belt.
But I love AJ.
I love everything.
does. I know when he's in there, he's going to, he's going to do his all, even if he has to carry the
match. He's going to do that. And almost, almost, he does what he does. He's a big, scary guy.
He has a couple of moves. You know, he'll pick you up and slam you, and then he'll try to do that
big guy thing where he just tries to pin you by putting his foot on you.
I like what he does that. Yeah. But it was entertaining at the,
the end of the day I was entertained by it.
I knew the outcome was going to be what it is
because I think they're going to keep these belts at least for
AJ because I think he's a person in this
in WWE that kind of needs a title, whatever title,
because I think that's just his status.
And after this, we'll talk about AEW, what they got coming
because I think WWE's in trouble.
I mean, during this mess, there was, I know, somebody or the microphone might have been too close to some little kid.
Because when everyone's going, AJ Stiles, I mean, there was one little kid that it was at least a couple minutes of just his annoying little voice saying,
AJ Stiles over and over and over.
I was like, get the microphone away from that kid.
But he was hyped.
So, I mean, I can't hate on him.
But, yeah, AJ and almost they're still the champs.
They ended up defeating the Viking Raiders.
But, yeah, man, they all win hard.
This is the match I did not really care for at all.
It was a good match.
Man, I love Cofi Kingston, but I'm just not a Bobby Lashley fan.
I don't think WWE cared about this match either, how quick it was.
Yeah.
Um,
uh,
they graded it to be.
Okay.
Uh,
Bobby Lashley's a champ,
of course,
and he defeated Kofi Kingston to retain his title.
But,
um,
Kofi was taking a beating in this.
Um,
you guys know Bobby Lashley.
I mean,
obviously you do of you if you're listening to this,
but man,
he's just a big brute.
I don't know the man personally.
And maybe he's hell of cool and laughs.
But when he gets in the ring,
he does his job.
I mean,
he does what.
he does and he's big and he'll just manhandle you and cophy kingston he's he's in shape but he's not
buff bobby lashley style so but i i was just feeling sorry for cofi the way he was just getting
roughed up but um what did you think of this one i did not care for this match but i did like to
build up to it because they they they had because bobby's been running through people so he's
kind of partying, you know, kind of having the ladies around.
And he kind of got called out on that by Kofi.
And he came in there and he just, he showed what, what, what he can do.
And I think that's why they had him just run through Kofi.
And, you know, it was what it was.
It was the, you know, the championship match shouldn't be filler matches,
but that's exactly what this was, was a filler match.
And, um, the way things are gone is, uh, next title to
fans that Somerslam is going to be a filler match.
I'm still waiting for Brock Rezner's music to hit and have him come in.
Or I would like to see Almost and Bobby go at it.
But I don't know.
We'll see.
I don't know if Almost is up is ready for that, all that yet.
But, all right, this next match, the Raw Women's Championship match,
Ria Ripley
and which is a champ
and
the queen
Charlotte Flair
I love
both of these
these gals
I loved Charlotte
until Ria
came up
and I'm
I just
I'm one of those guys
I just like
I'm not so much
the piercing and all that
but I like the
black eyeliner
and the black lipstick
and how
real looks. Yes, she had to change her look because
when she came on the scene, she was basically a clone of Charlotte,
long, blonde hair, tall, and everything. So they said not.
We can't have that. That's how they should have played this angle
with Charlotte should have been. Instead of this whole, like,
you're going to end up doing the things I'm doing, like, you know, their last
match where the Ria got to win by disqualification.
I thought they should have just played off the fact that she should have just been like,
Ria, you were, you were trying to be me years ago.
You were my clone years ago.
Yeah.
They graded this one an A-minus.
I can agree with it.
I would probably just give it a solid A, but man, these two, I mean, Charlotte goes for it no matter what,
even if it's just TV or even I've been to a few live shows and she still puts in 110%
I haven't seen Rhea in person perform yet,
but every time I see her,
even in NXT when she was running through everyone,
I thought she was badass there.
That's when I fell in love with her.
But, I mean, I thought these two, man,
they tore the house down.
And they were both.
The match went back and forth.
Ria was kicking ass and beating the hell out of Charlotte,
and then Charlotte started kicking ass,
and then it was just back and forth
in outside of the ring.
Charlotte always has to climb up on the top rope and do that flip.
I love when she does that.
I love it more when there's hell of gals down there that she lands on.
But Ria was right there and caught her,
so I thought she did a really good move.
The part in this match that made me laugh of, yeah,
Charlotte's been targeting Ria's knee and everything.
It's been going on a while.
But when Charlotte had Ria's foot stuck between the,
the corner of the ring where the stairs are.
That part, I was kind of like, oh, really?
But it's it's it that where her leg was, there, there's no kind of give or it was pretty sturdy to where Charlotte could kick the stairs really hard and nothing happened.
Yeah, her leg was well protected.
Yeah, but she sold it.
She, ah!
I love Ria's accent.
I don't know.
She's from Australia,
and I'm all about it.
But the thing that made me laugh is when they started doing the,
We Want Becky.
I was like, damn.
She was there.
She was there.
I was hoping for some kind of something,
but we didn't get it.
I haven't even seen their kid yet, have you?
I'm sure it's all over the place.
Yeah, there's a picture of her holding.
But she's been at the performance center training for like months.
Okay, well, good.
She's, maybe she'll come running in the ring at SummerSlam or something.
But they everyone was hype, man.
Everyone was on their feeds, hooting and hollering and everything.
Like I said, both of these gals went hella hard.
I didn't like the ending.
Well, I would have rather been happy if it was just a regular.
the flat out one two three pin they did go they were pinning each other back and forth and catching each other
and reversing each other's moves um rear rippley's man she's just as tall as as charlotte and
it looked like she had a little problem when she was uh picking up charlotte and then like just
hold on her hold her and she was trying to pick her to where she was going to do with that flip um
but she did it i mean yeah it took her
just a little bit more strength to do it, but
when she did it and Charlotte sold
it as well. So man, these
gals are strong. I watch
those videos when I see them and they're working
out all the time and
Charlotte's pretty ripped
and she does what she does.
What's his name?
Man, you're a lucky man.
Andrade.
What's his name
now in AEW?
It's still
Andrade, but it's
something.
else I can't pronounce after he's got he's got he's got what's his name as his
advisor Chavo it's good that I'm glad that he he went right to them I mean everyone
seemed to be going right to them which is fine I mean nothing against AEW I love
AEW but um instead of getting pinned Charlotte had Ria in the um
what the hell you call that move the uh figure eight and then
and Ria tapped out and she lost the belt.
I would rather just had her pinner.
I mean, to me, I've always liked, when they tap out,
I just, I don't like those wins.
I mean, especially for a belt.
So, but yeah, Charlotte was what?
How many times has this been?
Too many.
Yeah, somewhere in the teens.
I don't think she's quite hit 20 yet.
But, yeah, she won the belt.
All right.
Charlotte's a champ.
And we're going to flash forward to Monday Night Raw.
They always do this after every pay-per-view.
Charlotte and Rio did a rematch for the belt again.
And Charlotte kind of took out, or no, Rhea kind of took out Charlotte.
And then Nikki ASH music hit.
When it hit, I was like, oh, yeah.
And she cashed in, cast it in.
I like,
I like they still do that thing where,
where they give the briefcase to the ref and he acts like he doesn't understand.
Yeah.
What's going on?
He's like,
he looks at whoever hands it to him.
Then he turns and looks at the crowd.
Then looks at the,
at the announcers.
And I'm like,
yeah,
like it's like it's his decision.
Yeah.
Should I?
I mean,
I hate when they do that.
But it is a good buildup,
no matter what,
when they try to cash it in and it's funny.
I mean, I went to a live event,
she'd seven or eight years ago in Reno.
It was when Dolph Ziegler was Mr. Money in the Bank.
I can't remember who was the champ at that time,
but he came running in and cashed it in and then lost it.
But I guess it doesn't count at a live show at the house shows.
So because of the whatever the Friday night smackdown or whatever we were like, hey man, he cashed it in.
Why does he still have it?
I don't know.
Just to entertain us.
But so, but it was cool.
I'm glad that Nikki, Nikki Cross, Nikki ASH, almost superhero.
Well, she's a superhero now.
She's a champ.
So, but.
Do you think she didn't have a long, long?
run I don't know I'm looking here it's going to be a triple thread her and Charlotte and
Ria I just feel like this is going to put the belt on Charlotte again um I can't have a feeling
something's going to happen maybe Becky's going to come running in and this squad no one no one's
going to win so I don't know we have to see Becky and Charlotte again we see these matches
every week, every
pay per few. It's always the same.
That's my problem. Like, they
just called up Tegan Knox
and the Shotsie Blackheart
and
I don't really see them doing anything
with them. And I think
they did that stupid thing they do. I think
Shotsie's just Shotsie now.
She's not Shotsie Blackheart.
She's from Alabama, me, to everyone.
She ain't from Oakland. But we'll accept it.
She's hot.
So, but,
overall I did like the match
I thought Ria and Charlotte went hard
and I was happy that
Nikki cashed in
her briefcase
and now she's the champ
all right
on to the men's money
in the bank match with ricochet
Johnny drip drip Johnny Morrison
I hate that name
Riddle the real bro
I like him
but I'll give it to him and wrestling
and just his bare feet
someone could step on his toes
he could stub his toe or anything
and when you stub your toes that shit is no joke
I broke my toe doing that one time
and I can imagine him doing the flips
and flops and all over the ring
with no shoes on
Drew McIntyre
Big E and Kevin Owens
and Shinske Nakamura
and King Nakamura
Yeah and the Monday night
Messiah Monday Night Rawlins
the architect
the whatever the hell he calls himself now
Seth Rowns
I thought this match was badass
I love ricochet
I loved how he was flying all over the place
but they're wasting him
I don't know what else to say
Riddle I mean they're really pushing him
which is fine
but
I mean but overall I thought
everybody in this match went hard.
I don't know if Kevin,
Kevin Owens really heard himself,
but he kept the show going.
Riggishay was all over the place.
Johnny drip, drip,
even brought out the drip stick.
I hate that thing,
but okay.
It is what it is.
But, yeah, again,
I thought everybody went hell of hard.
Everyone took hard bump.
They graded this one in A minus
I would have gave it an A
But I thought it was an awesome match
I mean I love it
When they just really go for it
They were really hooting and hollering
And everybody wanted them to bring in the tables
But then nobody did
So
But overall man
I thought this was a really good match
What did you think?
Yeah I think
Not story of the night
But I think this was definitely match of the night
I love Biggie
coming out as the winner.
Drew,
Drew,
you know,
Drew does his thing.
And I feel real,
I feel so bad for him because his,
his whole title run was with no crowd.
So.
Yeah.
But,
but I'm glad that they're kind of moving on to somebody else.
John Morrison,
Johnny Tripp,
I feel like they're just,
they're wasting him with these like little comedic little things,
him and the Miz do,
because he's super talented and athletic.
Kevin Owens, yeah, he probably did get hurt because I always feel like he gets hurt every big match.
King Nakamura, I completely forgot he was in the match until someone would say his name,
which that kind of makes me mad because I'm a big Nakamura fan.
He's severely underused Riddle.
If it wasn't Big E, I kind of wanted Riddle to win because I like what he's doing right now.
I like, I even like he does the RKO.
And his, his Arkeo is not that bad.
Yeah, man.
He did a good one off the ladder.
I thought that one was pretty sweet.
Yeah.
And Seth, I, I, Seth is a good heel, but I just don't think he has anybody to feud with right now.
And I think the outcome of the, the main event that we're about to talk about, I think that's the perfect person for him to feud with.
and I don't know if old Seth's coming back
because his music hit and it was his new music
and then all of a sudden you heard that burn it down
so I don't know if old Seth's coming back
and he's putting the suits up for what's going on
but I think from now on after this much
we're going to see like a much more
kind of ruthless Seth
Rallens
hmm
yeah probably
I like Seth.
I mean, I love more when he was at the shield,
but once he turned and went to heal
and sometimes he's good,
sometimes he's bad, but
I just like when, I mean, especially when him
and John Morrison were helped.
They kind of went at it for a second,
but then they were more teaming up with each other.
Yeah, but...
Feud in over the drip.
Yeah.
Who's got the best drip?
The part that made me laugh is when Drew McIntyre,
when,
when Veer and Shinky,
is his name?
Yeah.
Came running in.
I was like,
oh, really?
But whatever,
Gender Mahal,
and he came in,
and then they basically beat the hell out of Drew McIntyre and drug him to
the back.
Okay.
Gender Mahal,
I thought they just did him dirty
And then they fired him
And then he went to the gym
And came back ripped
I did like his title run
I didn't like that
With a bamboo death match or whatever
Him and Randy Orton
I thought that was dumb
It looked neat
But it was dumb
But all right
I'm cool with Jender Mahal
Feuding with Drew McIntyre
I mean I think they're both big guys
do I want
3MB to come back?
Yes, but
what's his nuts?
Where's he at now?
He's over at Impact.
Yeah, what's his name?
He's got kids.
God damn it, what was his name?
That's all we remember is he has kids.
I wanted one of those shirts too,
but they don't sell him anymore.
Red name guy, red hair.
That's killing me now.
I know someone's screaming at us
Damn it, he has kids
Yeah
What the hell was his name?
He was a three-man band
Heaths later
Yeah
Yeah, I liked
His whole, his whole one-man band thing
Then he was a three-man band
And it was funny
I liked it
I know, I think I can't remember what, it was one of the paper views a couple years ago when he was still around.
And when all three of them were in the ring, I think it was one of the real rumble matches.
And, oh, the crowd was all just screaming, three and B, three of men.
Nah, I was hoping that it gave us a little pose or something, but they didn't.
Gender wasn't having none of that.
No, but never say never.
I'm hoping at some point they they bring it back for just a second but who knows but
yeah I do want to see that match I think Jenna Mahal and Drew McIntyre will
tear the house down when they finally match up but um yeah the outcome of this was a
big E winning and I I'm surprised he was able to get up with some of those bumps
he took because he was he when he did the big ending to um
Who the hell did he do it to?
Wasn't Seth Rohns, was it?
I think it was.
Off the ladder?
And it looked like he got hurt too.
Because if you guys know that big ending move, man,
when he's got whoever over his shoulder and then just boom,
they both slammed to the mat.
He was on the ladder.
And I don't know how high up they were.
They weren't all the way at the top,
but that was, it was the big ladder.
And it was still pretty hard.
But,
Big E did
He's Mr. Money in the Bank
And I was happy
Um
Zisa and I were talking about it
And he was like
Who won?
And it was before I did the rewatch
And I was like fuck
I kept saying I said I think Riddle won
But I
I completely spaced it
And forgot the Big E won
So but I was happy
I was glad did he won
This is the first time that he won the case
Um
Not sure who he's going to go after
um who knows maybe him and uh bobby lashy will battle it out i don't know well my bets roman reins
i don't know man i we'll get to that in a second anyway yeah big he's uh mr money in the bank
and he was happy i liked how he got it because when he took the um took the the case down and he
was like the look on his face on how happy he was and i did it and i did it and i
I was like, oh, right on, man.
Good for you, Biggie.
Because I remember when he first came on the scene, he didn't do nothing but stand there.
And he was always licking his lips.
And I remember at one point he had a big Zid on his face that he wouldn't pop.
I'm like, come on.
When he was...
Big E. Langston.
Yeah, when he was running around with Dalzigler in there, AJ.
Yeah, he was the bodyguard.
Yeah, he didn't do nothing.
He never said anything.
But I know that I think he was on the...
chopping block at one point but then they did the the new day and that just shot him back up
to the top I still love the new day I mean I hope they don't ever break that up but when they have
these groups together you always know they end up feuding in the end I don't want to see them
feuding I thought they're awesome I think the most hyped I've ever seen them I get hyped up
when I go to live shows or pay-per-views and they're there but um at comic-con one year
um during the um,
tell,
uh,
W.
And they were coming in.
Uh,
AJ Styles was there and Becky Lynch and in the new day.
Is that when Boutios was going crazy?
Yeah.
Um,
it was right before,
uh,
it actually hit the shelves.
I mean,
that because,
um,
when I hate Corey Grave,
I never liked him.
He just gets on my nerves.
And I'm real mad that he's stabbing,
uh,
uh,
Carmella.
Uh,
but,
but,
he was on stage and he was like
I feel this room needs some positivity
I was excited but I'm like
I hate you get off get off the stage
what happened to him
I mean he hurt himself and then
that was it
concussions okay
he got too many and they said
he's done
yeah all right
so when he said that
and then the New Day's music hit
dude that crowd I was in the front row
too, which was awesome.
And everybody jumped to their feet and,
ah, and they came in there dancing.
And this is right when Pokemon Go was big.
And if you guys know,
God damn it, what's the name?
Not Biggie, not Kofi.
Xavier Woods.
He's got that up, up, down, down YouTube channel.
And he's a big gamer.
He came in with his phone and he was catching Pokemon while he was running in.
That was funny.
Cofi came in with the Boutios and he was kind of throwing in the air and the air.
Big E was dancing hell of hard and Coffey jumped up on the table and started twerking.
Oh, man, it was nuts.
But that was like that, that room wasn't very big and it got everybody on the feet.
Everybody was hyped and it was awesome.
And again, I love it when we go to live shows or paper views and everything, but that
Comic Con, I've been to many of those WWE panels, but that was the one that was the most
hype.
I think the last one is when Matt Hardy showed up.
He wasn't broken.
Well, I guess he was kind of semi-broken.
Came out with the whole delete thing.
He announced the delete squad and everything, and it was cool.
Everyone loved it.
I love when he gets up there and does all his craziness of that.
But it wasn't as hyped as when the new day was there.
When the panel was over with, I ran up there and I got pictures with Becky Lynch really quick and pictures with the new day.
And everyone kind of ran in front of that table and people were holding their mouths open as Kofi was dumping the Boutios cereal.
I just held my hand out.
He dumped a big old handful and I ate that.
So I thought that was really cool.
That was fun.
I love the picture.
I'll repost it again.
And I'll put it on the action returns or the stream things Facebook group.
But it was a cool little picture.
It was funny.
It was like I loved the big ease expression when I took a picture with him.
It's just you got when I put it up there, you guys will see it.
But I was happy that he won.
And I thought overall this, this match was amazing.
All right.
On to the Universal Championship match, the champ, the head of the table, Roman Rains,
on the red at our superstar.
Travel Chief.
I love Roman Reins, but I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was, I was a guy to get into, uh, what's his nuts. Um, they are impact wrestling.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, well, he's Matt Cardona or whatever now and man that did you see that match?
He did got bloody, but I was a champ.
Yeah.
Did you see?
Yeah.
Did you, yeah, I saw that one.
Did you see the, the, the, the, the, the, the.
I think it was the same guy.
Yeah, with the pizza cutter.
Yeah.
That's the same guy that,
the,
the,
David Arquette,
the one that stabbed him in the neck with the,
that's right.
That's the same guy,
Nick Gage.
Oh,
yeah.
Watch,
what was that show?
That documentary called?
You can't kill.
David Arquette.
Yeah.
I mean,
oh, man,
that was an amazing,
amazing documentary.
Check that out, everyone.
I think it was on Amazon or Hulu, one of them.
But, like I said, I've been to Edgehead longer.
I've said this before, dealing with, I mean, even Seth Rohn's,
people that come back from major injuries,
Edge coming back out of retirement,
and being forcing in retirement because of all the damage he had done to his spine
and his neck and everything.
he's still in good shape.
Yeah, he got hurt a few times and he disappeared and then he came back.
But when he takes those hard blows to the head,
I'm just like, oh, Edge, what are he doing?
But he's out there doing it, man.
He wants to do it.
He is cleared.
But I just, oh, I mean, same thing with Seth Rohn's when he goes high and he comes down on his leg.
If you guys saw that video when his knee buckled and went the wrong way,
I feel that.
Or even Daniel Bryan.
I know he's not with WWE anymore, but I get worried.
Or even when Lita comes back those few times.
I'm like, Ha, Lita, calm down.
But this match was cool.
It was what it was.
They both do what they do.
They both spear each other to death.
I mean, that's their moves.
But the part that made me laugh during this match,
Roman Rains was getting ready to jump up.
and what he did.
He did a Superman punch.
But the way he did it,
you can clearly see that he held back
and, like, bent his wrist
and, like, just barely grazed edge.
And Edge went crashing into the ref.
What's his name?
God damn it.
Blonde guy.
A minibreflare.
That's all I remember when he was a mini rick player.
Yeah.
What's his name now?
It's going to bug me.
um god damn it he's a super big horror fan too yeah and he is he's been with the wdb
yes he's been there forever and um uh i think it was tlc uh not last year the couple years ago before
the world fell apart as soon as the the whole tlc match stuff was over he was out there taking
the ring apart i'm like you guys don't have uh a
Road crew
that done this,
the ref's got to be out there
taking the ring apart,
but he was still cool.
This match was,
it was what it was.
I liked how they do it.
I mean,
they go back and forth
and beat the hell out of each other
inside and outside of the ring.
I loved when Roman Raines
went to spear,
Edge on the outside,
but Edge jumped out of the way
and Roman went crashing into that corner
with the bell corner
and then knocked that part
of the barricade.
down and then Edge came back and boom and then they went crashing through the other one.
I mean,
I like how when they go into the crowd and everybody,
other than all the security comes running up,
I think the security were the only ones that had masks on.
There was a few people in the audience that had them,
but how they just keep everybody back.
And there's basically right there in front of you wrestling.
That happened to us at a live show one time.
It was, um,
what's his name?
Get these,
not get these hands.
Ron?
No.
Goldberg's clone
Rip off
Feed me more
We are getting our wrestling card
pulled tonight
Yeah, geez, I know someone's
going to feed me more that guy
Ryback.
Right back, yeah.
I just remember everyone yelling Goldberg
every time he was, I felt sorry for him
but we went to a live show
in Reno and he,
got, they fell out into the audience or into the, where we were sitting. We were pretty close
in the third row. And they were wrestling around right in front of us. And I remember my kids with
my two youngest were like, ah, screaming and yell. And they couldn't believe how they were
wrestling right in front of us. So I thought that was also. But this match was what it was. I mean,
I knew where I was going to go. I mean, yeah, I wanted Edge to win, but we didn't get that. But
the part that made me laugh was
when
the Uso's came running in
to try to help
and then you see some guys running in behind them
and it's the Mysterios so they run in
and beat the hell out of them
and then chase the Uso's out
because they were going to come in and interfere
with the match
ah man but overall I mean
it was what it was
The ending was funny when Seth Rohns came.
But what did you think of this one?
Not the best match, but it continues one of the best storylines of the summer.
And that is the tribal chief sitting at the head of the table, the bloodline strong.
I'm a big fan of Edge, but it's not time for Roman to get that belt up.
It's nowhere near time.
And this match had its good spots.
I think, excuse me, I think it just kind of, some parts that just kind of drove on a little too long.
I mean, this match was like 30, 40 minutes long.
And I think it could have been a little bit tighter in some places, but I think it told the story well.
And Edge, man, yeah, you talked about all his injuries and coming back.
I think he looks better than ever.
And I don't think he's going anywhere anytime soon.
I liked how he was, he had, well, Roman had edge on his stomach and he was trying to pull that black thing from the little black bar from the folding chair.
But Edge reversed it and ended up getting in a Roman and shoved it in his mouth.
And then Seth Rollins comes running in and kicking the edge in the head.
I was like, oh, come on.
It wasn't a hard kick, but either way, I'm like, oh, man.
So he went down and then I was like, ah, so that was.
But that sets up a, I'm, I'm fine with that feud happening.
Seth Rollins and Edge.
Yeah.
So, I mean, he ended up Roman running to still the champ.
So I'm kind of like, all right.
Whatever.
I mean, another ref had to come running in
because after the other guy went down,
he fell out of the ring and he was laying and rolling around.
He was not selling that good at all.
But hey, man, whatever, it's part of the show.
But the other ref came in and then boom, boom,
Roman pinned Edge, one, two, three.
And he was getting ready to roll out of the ring.
That's when Seth Rollins turned on Edge and started beating him up.
but then Edge ended up whooping his ass.
So I was laughing at all that shit.
Oh, wait.
Who did Seth Rollins curb stump?
Or was that in the...
Did he crib stop someone in this one?
Yeah, I think he curbstomp to Edge.
Yeah, I can't remember.
A lot of was happening at the end with this.
So, but I know Rowlands and Roman Raines kind of faced off at each other.
for a minute and saying
he wants the bell
and he went oh that's when edge jumped in
and roughed up Seth Ronald
all right but
that that was it
that was that was the end of that match
and then
Roman has to get on the mic
and do his
his little spiel of
yeah
I'm still head of the table
or whatever the hell he said
acknowledge me
yeah I was kind of like
Oh, okay.
I love Roman, but I don't know.
I'm still, I don't know. I'm not 100% on all this yet, but I still love them.
So I'm all about it.
So, but it was funny.
But then something happened and everybody went nuts.
That music hit.
And that was it.
The place went crazy.
Oh, man, I was dying.
I was happy.
Fresh from Hollywood with his Hollywood hair.
Yeah, and he,
obviously he had to slim down a little doing suicide squad as well as whatever the,
his show is coming on HBO Max.
A peacemaker.
Yeah, they said that's a dumb.
So it's it's ready to roll and that was why he was gone this whole time
Being a Hollywood scene though, but um again many many rumors
There the last few last couple years with the pay-per-views seen his return and scene is returning it's
It's always just rumors and he he finally came back and when his music hit yeah the booze started but you could
see the his fans that were like ah even the little kids that were there they were all jumping up
and down that always makes me happy when i when they when the camera goes to the little kids and then
see how excited they are or if i'm at these events and i just see the the smiles and the love
that they have um john seen i love him or hate him i mean he's still out there doing it never
give up uh and all that and yeah the he's taking on uh roman rains a somerslam
From what I understand, after the cameras stopped, Sina stayed out there, and I'm not really sure what he said, but all the stuff that he was saying from when I was reading, they said he hyped up the crowd pretty good, and he's glad that he's back.
And I'm glad that he came back with a live crowd, not the movie screen, not the fake crowd sounding sounds that pumps out of the speakers.
So, I mean, that was cool.
I mean, and I did, yeah, it sucked that these people that did win belts, I mean, like Drew McIntyre, his whole run.
And no, no crowd was there.
But, I mean, I've said this before, out of all the things that were being canceled and stopped, sports-wise, WWE, I think was the only one that kept going.
Yeah, they had their issues.
with people getting sick, but that show kept moving.
I mean, Vince has always said that no matter what happens, the show has to go on,
and they kept it going.
Was it because they were who they were, and the high-ups they knew of Florida?
Who am I to say?
But you ask me, I'm going to say, yeah.
I'm excited.
I love Sina, but I'm going to have to root for Roman.
at SummerSlam
And I kind of have a feeling
That John Cena is going to walk away with the belt
But if he doesn't
Someone's going to come in
And interfere
I don't think there'll be a disqualification
I think someone's going to come in and interfere
And maybe the matcher gets stopped that way
If John Cena doesn't win
But who knows? I don't know we'll see
Or Kishi
Who knows?
Maybe Seth Rallel
My jumping
I don't know.
I mean,
SummerSlam is still a few weeks away
happening in Las Vegas, Nevada,
at that bitch-ass radar stadium,
but I'll still be there.
Yeah, weird.
It's going to be on a Saturday.
I know.
I was wondering why.
I mean,
fine with me,
because then now I don't have to rush home
or get Monday off.
Because the last few pay-per-views
that I went to,
I had to get the next day off.
And now I don't have to,
but I'm going to do down on Friday.
SummerSlam on August,
21st and then
NXT 36, I believe,
the next day.
On Sunday?
Yeah.
I thought they were going to do NXT on Friday,
but all right, whatever.
Is that still in Vegas, too?
Let me check.
I believe so.
They usually have it in the same.
It does not say.
But I think it is.
John Cena, man,
he does not look
as big as he did.
That was the first thing that I noticed when he came walking out.
And I was like, damn, what happened to John?
He's still in good shape.
Not saying he's not.
He's just not as big as he was.
But I don't know.
We'll see.
I'm sure he's hitting the gym now.
He'll probably be a little bit bigger by SummerSlam.
Orlando.
Okay.
It's always good to see Cina.
I haven't seen Fast 9.
I saw the first 25 minutes.
I didn't see the rest.
I don't know.
what he did in that.
Did you see that one?
Yeah.
Did he,
was he all right?
He was all right.
I'm not going to spoil anything.
I kind of felt like he could have did a little bit more.
But I know the next two movies are supposed to end the whole franchise.
So I think everything's kind of a set up for something bigger.
I hope Brock comes back.
And they,
he said he's done.
he should come back and him
Messina should go at it one more time
on the big screen
so we'll see but I don't know
but overall
WWE's
2021 Money in the Bank
live from Texas
I thought it was a good paper view
I mean it was kind of better than
the last couple
I mean
but I mean I
enjoyed pretty much every match
yeah there was
well the Bobby Lashley
and Covey Kinson one I wasn't really looking forward to
but all the other matches were cool.
But the main event, I thought it was good.
I knew Roman Raines was still going to win.
But I think it's going to go big.
I don't remember my old mind.
I forget everything.
Has Jacena and Roman Raines ever went at it?
Like one?
Yeah.
Yeah.
You go watch because that's when he,
he famous had that promo when they were in the rain together
and he just fucking destroyed Roman.
Oh, okay.
And he even told Roman, it's called a promo.
You got to learn how to do it someday.
Oh, man.
But yeah, we'll see.
Just, oh, AEW, what were you going to say?
Oh, what do you think of the rumors of CM Punk and Daniel Bryan going to AW?
I thought Daniel Bryan was a for sure thing.
It's not.
They haven't announced it.
That's looking like it's probably a done deal.
And then I guess the last AEW dynamite,
they several times throughout the show,
they hinted at CM Punk.
If he does,
I'll be excited and I'll watch.
I know he said that if he,
if he returned, he wouldn't return when there was no audience.
He goes, I'm thinking of the fans and I want this pop to be big.
He goes, I'm not saying I'm coming back.
He goes, let's just say, if I did, I would want the fans.
Coincidentally, on the same show, they, because, uh, Dina, AW's getting a second show
called Rampage, second television show.
And on that show where they were teasing CM-Pong, they didn't outright say
They were just like, you know, best in the world, you know, little stuff like that.
And then they, and then they announced a date for a show in Chicago for, for Rampage.
I'm sure that's, yeah.
And it's going to be at the stadium where the Bulls play.
I'm sure that's sold out.
If he did return, I'll be excited.
I'll watch it.
I mean, I think he can still do it.
I mean, he is in good shape.
I always see those videos of him training.
I'll give it to him for getting in that octagon and doing what he did,
because I had sure as hell wouldn't have done it.
And did he win?
No, but he had the heart to go in there and do it.
I feel sorry for that last one.
Looks like that guy was just playing.
Yeah, that guy kind of fucked up his stuff in UFC for not really fighting as hard as he could.
Yeah.
But Daniel Brian, I think that will go ahead and I think it would be safe to say that, yeah, he's going to join AEW, which is fine.
Will he be Daniel Bryan or will he be Brian Danielson?
I don't know.
We'll see when it happens.
And I'm sure the yes stuff, I mean, even if he doesn't do it, the crowd will still do it.
So, I mean, that'll be cool to see that over there.
But CM Punk, I don't want to get too excited until.
I hear that cult of personality music.
And of course he would have to come out with that.
I mean, if he goes back to his older ring, ring interest music,
yeah, that stuff was cool too.
But I think when Living Colors, cult of personality hit,
that just got me hyped every time, every pay-per-view I went to when he was there.
I thought it was awesome.
But my fingers are crossed that CM Punk comes back.
but I don't know.
We'll see.
All right.
Anything else for we get out of here?
Thanks, everybody for listening.
Yeah, we just dropped episode 22,
Extreme Feens,
to end our house party.
Retrospective extravaganza,
even talked about four and five
or whatever you want to call.
But everyone that listens to them,
thank you so much.

It's only a dollar.
You can do it.
Only a dollar.
To steal it from the Great League of Geeks.
I also join the Action Returns Facebook group, and you can follow all that as well.
well as on
Twitter and
everything else.
And yeah, that's it.
E-Society.
Hopefully we'll get a new episode out
within the next couple of days.
But if you do listen to our stuff on Anchor,
I did drop a ESP
Skate Society.
And I got James Meyer.
Did a quick little interview with him.
He's just a local Ripper for the Bay Area.
And talked about his bands as well.
Vale and Abstractor.
the other they were called. I can't remember.
Look at the show notes or listen to the show.
He talks about it. But yes, as far as he's society,
that that's pretty much what we got going.
So until next week, everyone,
our next month when we come back
with more wrestling returns.
I am going to record something when I'm down in Vegas.
Videos as well. I'll throw them up on
one of these Facebook pages.
And definitely follow us on Instagram.
And I'll throw some videos and stuff up there.
Plus, I'll try to
record some audio with some of the WWE universe.
So we'll see.
So until then,
everyone, just be safe out there and weigh your masks and party on.
And be good to each other.
