Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, welcome to another episode of the wrestling returns. Welcome back, everybody, to another episode of the wrestling returns. I'm your host, Brian. With me, as always, is my brother, Ness. What's up, man? Oh, man, I'm good. Sorry, everyone. It's been work, work, work all week.

But we got to give you guys a two for this episode. Kind of just give you the highlight to what happened that Saturday. main event before the night before evolution um i thought saturday night's main event other than nostalgic for for me when i was a kid watching it and i always love that uh they got jesse the body ventura to come back and kind of kick off the show well like like he always does but um I thought it was good, man. We got the last match for Goldberg, which I got some issues with it. But what did you think of Saturday Night's main event?

I thought the whole event was trash. I thought it was a poor attempt to take away the eyes from AEW's event, which did you get a chance to watch it? No, I saw highlights. better event than the three events WWE put out that weekend with Moxley taking that what was it? Nails

to the head yeah dude that was ruthless because it was just like it punctured and just immediately started squirted out I was like damn

I mean AEW was more the more extreme wrestling because WWE ain't doing any of that. I just been a little down on WWE.

Just felt like there's been no buildup to anything. Like SummerSlam don't even feel like SummerSlam. Two nights? One night is enough. We don't need to jam pack it. For two nights.

You're jam packing it for two nights with storylines that are a month. Maybe, maybe two. at the most yeah i was kind of like all right i mean yeah i think i'm only really excited for us sena but did you watch raw yeah punk is who's punk going against sena gunther gunther all right's that's right they had that big big ordeal and seth is out he got he got hurt yeah Oh, that's in this one, and a Saturday's made event.

Yeah. He was taking on LA night. Yeah, I'm hearing it was, it's a real injury, but what happened was storyline. I'm like, what? Usually when you get hurt, you got to drop the belt or whatever. I mean, well, they're looking at it as money in the bank. You get to have it for a year. You see Paul Heyman carrying it around?

Yeah, but from what I understand, this changes a whole bunch of shit. Yeah, I'm kind of like, huh, okay, well. It's kind of like the Liv Morgan situation, how they had plans. And when that injury happened, it changed up a whole bunch. It changed up when I understand the whole evolution pay-per-view match card. Yeah, I'll just, all right, we'll see what happens. but I'm not a jelly roll fan I couldn't tell you this gentleman's music I don't know is he a country star is he a pop star is he a pop country star or a country pop star I

don't know what this this gentleman is only thing I can give him is all the weight he lost good for you I mean I'm doing my best as well I feel better than I did last year this time because when I went to Comic-Con, I was in no shape to be running around all over the place. I've been on a mission every day to just walk and walk and walk and just get my miles in and just burn calories all day, especially in the Nevada heat out working at the airport. So I feel I'm in a 40 pounds lighter.

And I believe this gentleman was pushing, I think he was 400. And then I think he lost like two. I don't know if he physically lost it or did he have an operation? I mean, either way, man, he's, he looks better than he did. Because I remember, was it WrestleMania? Or something he came in and he got involved and he was big. And I was like, how's this guy going to get in the ring? From what I understand, he's moved to Florida to train at the Performance Center.

I mean, he did what he could with this, with Randy Orton, being in his corner. But I don't know. We'll see as far as him having a... Is he having a whole singles match, or is he tag teaming? With Randy Orton? Randy and Jelly Roll versus Drew and Logan Reality

Drew and Logan would tear them apart Yeah We'll see Did you watch the best for business? Did you watch the press conference? Oh no I didn't I didn't see any of that See triple H thrown shots of Travis Scott

Now what He didn't say his name But he said how certain celebrities Don't take it serious and don't put the work in unlike a jelly roll or bad bunny yeah bad bunny man he's good in my book man bring him back but i'm Travis got i mean there was no need for him at all it should have just they should have just did what i said that the first time he ever should have came out was at russomania because that was the excuse for him to be there being the host

didn't you do the music too yeah so why I bring them out months ahead it just it made no sense okay I have it on and I guess the night before I didn't see Smackdown

when Jellywell was doing his deal and then Logan Paul went and wrecked it all and destroyed his bands his bands equipment yeah that's that's what really set jelly roll off destroy the equipment. Fake or not? I mean,

I mean, equipment-wise, I mean, even a cheap drum set is expensive. Well, oh, those were clearly hollow speakers. He was kicking around. Oh, yeah. He ain't picking. Those things are heavy. All you musicians know, guitar amps, those aren't just speakers. Those things are heavy. so but I was like ha ha I don't care if it's a cheap drum set man if you're gonna just destroy it give it to me I could just make my kit bigger I don't care if it's all mitch matched I just love playing the drums

but I'm like all right I mean this match was the Randy and uh drew mackintyre it was it was okay it wasn't something we had anything we hadn't seen before um What I do love about Saturday Night's main event other than Jesse the body is how the refs dressed like they did back in those days. Oh, the old school dress shirts. Yeah, long-sleeved dress shirts. With the bow tie. Yeah, I like that.

Even the gals because Jessica and Worcernuts were out there doing their thing. So that was cool. But, I mean, Jellyroll was out there doing this thing. He was hyping up Randy and everything. and him and Logan were kind of going back and forth. He's a little slow to react to things. Yeah. Because when Drew came in, or not Drew, when I forgot what happened,

Randy was getting fucked up in the ring. And he's just outside of the ring just kind of like, ah, what should I do? Should I get in there? Just kind of like having a moment. I'm like, if you don't get your ass in there and help him. yeah because he let randy get beat up for a while before he decided to just walk up the stairs and climb in i mean logan sold it i mean he he's he's more seasoned and i've said this before love him or

love him or hate him i think logan puts in the work he's proved it time and time again oh i agree with you love him or hate him he's gonna hold the belt at least one time Yeah, I mean, he's already been the United States champion, but I think he's going to hold one of the other ones. So we'll see. And if you want to talk about somebody selling something, jelly roll sold that claim more. That looked like that connected. But I'm sure he was days. Because, yeah, the match, I mean, I was, like I said, I was only more worried about Jellyroll and Logan.

going at it on the outside. Because, I mean, Drew and Randy, they do the thing. There's no doubt about that. I don't have to question their abilities on what they were doing. I mean, it wasn't the greatest match. We've seen this match before. But Randy, do you think he's coming to the end? Absolutely.

Yeah, man. I mean, Randy's been at it. He's been pushing. I know it's been over 20. So he's got to be pushing 30 if he hasn't even hit 30 yet. But way better shape than me. But my opinion, if he just becomes one of, what do they call those the WWE legends

or they just kind of do like an undertaker come in when they need you? Oh, shit. What is it called? Damn, I don't know. Some kind of deal. Like, Undertaker. It's something where they can, like, whatever Brock and Undertaker are at. And if you guys listen to Undertaker's podcast, he's cool.

He was just on the Chris Van Fleet one. So that was cool. Yeah, he's going to be on NXT next week. Undertaker? Yeah, Trick Williams was talking shit about his LFG wrestlers. Ah, man. We'll see what he does, because he says he goes, everything's replaced.

I'm all beat up. I can't do what I do. But I'm going to come out there and please the audience, which is cool. I mean, Undertaker's got nothing to prove. He don't need another match. He don't need, he just come out and choke slam somebody or tombstone them or whatever.

and get us hyped. Because, yeah, those last few matches, which has been years now. I mean, they're, ha, they're a little iffy. Goldberg almost killed him. We'll get to him in a minute. Oh, gosh, Goldberg.

That guy's already falling out with WWE. Already? Yeah. I guess they tried to sign his son to that, what's that program they got, the N I L where they sign like independent talent

They were going to sign them to that and what do you do say no Yeah he told his son it ain't enough money Well it's more than you're making now Yeah because they already's the The new crop of stars they sign was Scott what's his name's son Scott Steiner Bronbrook's cousin Uh huh

He's one of the new recruits so it must have been good enough for him I mean I figured I don't know maybe he just thinks that oh my son is because he's goldberg son yeah yeah I mean I don't know I mean

if I was famous doing whatever and one of my boys wanted to follow on my footstep I was just like you got you would have to earn it my opinion I mean I know some people just throw their kids in

spotlight. I mean, you can say that about dirty Dom. He's been around the business his whole life pretty much. Yeah, it just celebrated 20 years in WWE. Yeah, I mean, love him or hate him. I mean, I didn't,

of course I thought, oh, he's only in there. He moved, jump right into the main show because of who his dad is. Yeah, I mean, his debut match was at SummerSlam against Seth Rollins. Yeah. I mean

But Yeah he He was around when he was a kid And when he was a teenager and everything And he did I was just watching old videos of him When he was a kid And

That whole Uh Storyline with Eddie Guerrero Rest in Peace Oh His real dad Yeah All that was cool

But I like they still keep up with that Yeah They still After all these years They're still going But yeah, this match, it was nothing special again. I was only watching Jelly Roll and Logan Paul go at it

because Randy ended up pulling it out. And then Logan jumped into the ring and started beating up Randy. And yeah, like you said, it took forever for Jelly Roll to spring into action. But once he climbs into the ring, Logan's like basically on top of Randy. And Randy just kind of dazed laying there. and then jelly roll picks up Logan Paul kind of gives him an arm lock

and it just slams him on the ground and then they kind of start going at it. Logan throws a punch. Jelly roll blocks it and then he gives a weak-ass. I don't know, it wasn't a punch. He just like swung his arm.

He just swung his arm and Logan went down and rolled out of the ring. And then I mean, everyone I get it. It's entertaining and everyone's rooting for a jelly roll. and Randy Jelly Rolls leaning over Randy like Oh bro you're all right

You all right? Yeah out of nowhere That Claymore To the left side Of jelly rolls face He kicked his hat off his head Yeah He's laying there dead

Logel Paul springs back into action And then Drew McIntyre just starts talking The hell of shit And then all the The suits come out And start yelling at to Drew McIntyre for kicking jelly roll in the head.

Oh, man. But he was laying there face down. And everyone jumped into the ring, tried to get him out of there. But Randy, he was all, he's dazed, falling all over the place, trying to go after him. But everyone's like,

no, Randy, just stay here, just stay here. And, I mean, yeah, I'll give it to jelly roll. I mean, of course, I'm sure they practice it, but he's, sold it good. He went down and he's just laying there and Randy's acting all concerned and we'll see what happens

a SummerSlam on uh if they win which they probably will make it exciting work you have win is summer slime next month August 2nd and 3rd.

Okay so we got like a few weeks you're looking at what three weeks maybe two three at the most So that's what I'm saying SummerSlam is so close and they're just now Putting the match card together for for SummerSlam I guess I don't know

But yeah I mean it was I don't know But I mean but the hoopla after that match When they were showing all the The ladies that have matches The next night Excuse me jade was sitting there trying to hyperacted herself up and

Naomi came running up behind her and started whooping that ass. I mean, I've always been a fan of Naomi, but I'm liking this heel run. I like what she's doing. Oh, she's committed. Music change, wardrobe change, attitude

change. Yeah, that I don't know what the hell was up with all those razor blades on her ring gear. The next night, I was like, whoa. She'd be going crazy on social media because I was just seen I just seen a video

that she posted her twerking saying Big Jim like it. Oh. And then I guess she was answering some fans that were hating on her. She's just like, y'all need to get off my back. Big Jim, get on.

Oh, man. But yeah, they went back and forth man. Jade was throwing around through her over the uh the announced tables and then she's standing on the announced tables she dives on to jade and knocks everyone over the even people that didn't even feel the impact of Naomi flying through the air everyone just fell down so i i figured all right this is this is a good lead up to i mean they've been building this up to it anyway but i mean the way naomi's been acting um i was like all right i'm not

that fan of of Jade. I mean, they kind of moved her up a little too quick, but I mean, that's my opinion. We'll get to her.

I got some opinions on her. Some more opinions that I will touch upon. Yeah, because this is when they announced that the EST was going to be the

special ring. Yeah, I got some opinions on that too. I was like, I mean, don't get me wrong. I love, I love Bianca, but come on.

No. And this next match, it was all right. I mean, you had a solo in the gang. Not coming out to take on Jimmy. Solo's a younger brother, right? I know I always ask this.

Yeah. He's the baby. I was never a fan of solo but I am a fan of when he starts with the comedy in between when shit's going on I mean I like when he's acting stupid

or mocking someone I love it I think it's I think it's fitting to to where his actual personality because I like when he fucks with Jacob Oh, gas, no brains.

And then he does the little gyration stuff, Jacob he doing. Yeah. But this match was okay. I mean, I figured I got little brother and big brother throwing each other all over the ring. And so those cronies. What's Jeff Cobb's names now? Jacey Mateo. He's Jeff Cobb.

They called him Jeff Cobb when he first got there. I mean, a few weeks ago. I have a feeling they weren't supposed to say Jeff Cobb. Someone probably yelled at him. What's up with all the advertisements? Not commercial-wise. It's just all over the ring mat, the walls. It's T-K-O.

It's T-K-O. they're the reason behind the advertisements the high ticket prices the laying off people whose idea was that to merge with them the company company that bought

WWE essentially is Vince's fault he sold the company the company already owned UFC so they started another company to manage both of them at the same time. Yeah, I mean, it was just

all that Slim gym table. Yeah. All the ads on the ring on the mat is distracting or distracting. I mean, the only thing on this

Saturday nights was the naked gun. Is this the fourth film? Two and a half, 33 and third. Yeah, this is the four. Yes. Yeah. I'll see it. I mean, I like the other three. I like it's canon with the other ones.

Yeah. At first I thought it was like a remake. And I was kind of like, but then in the trailer, we see that he's, he's Frank Drebens. I like everybody's looking at their pictures of their parents and you get to the O.J. son. And he just looks at the camera and shakes his head, no. the juice love him or hate him rest in peace I mean I just remember him of course the nonsense that happened

but watching him when I was a kid him play football and that's I'm gonna leave it with that I remember him running through the airport

that flying there and he was flying through the airport at one point if you guys are old enough to remember that so, but

yeah, he knows what happened. I don't think he did it, but I don't know. He knows, but he he's gone. Who are the other two dudes

with Solo? Tama Tongaloa and this guy is Hicaleo to me, but of course the big call yeah when he came to wwe they had to change his name it's like tamah talatanga or something jeff gob he's just a big brute well all of them are and i was

me and my daughter were watching a smackdown and i was telling her how it's sad jeff cov they basically he's he's that guy that the bloodline well i I don't even know if they're the bloodline no more but if the bloodline's going to get pinned it's going to be Jeff Cobb. Oh man. You know what? I don't even think they're the bloodline.

I think I heard the MFTs. I don't know. Does it my family tree or something? Oh, all right. The ending in this was kind of sloppy. I mean, solo pinned Jimmy and

the big doll guy yeah they're MFT because that's the shirt he's wearing he Solos got him pinned but then that big dude puts his boot up on Solo's butt to give him

extra force Yeah wasn't he like late Yeah he was hell of late She was She was bringing her hand down for the third time by the time he stuck us what um yeah he he can't be late you gotta if he's if they're gonna have a bosh they gotta have his brother do it yeah so they all

they all team duh four of them jumped on him and solo gave him the simone's bike yeah i like how uh jacob took his time coming out yeah he did jimmy was getting wrecked in there he was laying there all beat up already and then jacob fought two finally comes out with his ninja gear he comes running into the ring and then everyone's he just goes to work

boom Jeff Cobb fuck I can't remember this guy's name the other dude in the turtleneck Oh Tongaloa? Yeah he ends up going there and roughing the three of them up then he does this crazy little dance

and there comes the big dude Tomatanga I think that's his name Yeah that guy's hell big What's he like seven feet Yeah Because Jacob Fartu's six something Yeah this guy's heller big

Halotanga is He's like a foot taller than him Six eight Oh Bad news bear just said he was seven feet You gotta You know you gotta sell it Ooh

By SummerSlam he'll be like 7-4 he booted Jacob Fartu to the head and he went down he goes running at him and he pulls the rope down Jacob Fattu comes off the rope

suicide dive crashes into him was out of camp no I thought that was a cameraman oh speaking of camera we'll get that to it evolve oh damn

but yeah Jacob Fattu came out just to to save him. So we'll assume that those two were going to

go after them. And I don't know. Maybe Jacob Fought too can be a part of the OG bloodline.

We'll see. For those you that watched Raw. I am not liking this OTC1. I'm getting one of those shirts.

I don't like it. why is he the original tribal chief one? I don't know. The one would mean that there's other tribal chiefs. I don't write. I don't write the show. I couldn't tell you.

Yeah, this next one, L.A. Knighted and Seth Rollins. I mean, it was going good until Seth heard himself. Yeah. It wasn't the springboard. It was what he did before. before because you could see his knee got tweaked. Yeah, so what I'm, what I understand is he was already hurt. Yeah.

Before this happened. And they storylineed it for him to get hurt in the match. That's what I'm hearing. So he was going out regardless. Yeah. Is it his hurt knee that he hurt before or is it? Yeah. Okay.

Which a lot of people are kind of wondering, is this kind of almost it for him? Because this is like the, what, third time? I don't know, man. He just needs to put one of those stone cold knee braces on him. Oh. Kind of Charlotte's wears the sparkles. What do you think of the case? What they did do it?

I mean, it goes with their whole thing. which they need to have a name for that group if they're even a group anymore. The Haman boys. I don't know. Yeah, you heard he's the Oracle now. All right. I mean, the crowd was all there for L.A. Knight.

And I was, too. So, the architect, Munden, that Messiah, whatever you want to call him. Yeah, because it looks like he was. was already kind of baby in his knee. So he was still going for it. But I think he was just trying to just do it.

Because it looked like he hurt himself during this match. Or were they just pretending when after he kind of stumbled and fell and just like laid in the corner? And L.A. Knight was about to go at him. Yeah, the only reason

I don't believe what I heard is because L.A. night looks super lost. Yeah, so that's why I figured he did hurt his knee during this match. Because yeah, when they, L.A. Night tries to get him when he's laying in the corner,

but they stop him. And then he's kind of like, uh, what do we do? And then when he ends up pinning Rollins, it was like, yeah, you can see the ref. You can see the ref right when Rollins gets up, the ref goes to L.A. night.

and you can see him to finish him, finish him, pin him. So I was kind of like, uh, okay. Because he sat in the corner for a good minute, maybe two, before he sprung back into action, and he didn't even really do anything. He kind of just stumbled at L.A. night, and then L.A. Knight did what he did,

and then pinned him. I thought this was a swerve. I thought we were getting the cash in on Gunther. I guess I would have worked but you know Seth coming in doing his little laugh at everybody I thought I was

laugh or hurt I don't know we'll see but from what I understand it's legit and he's going to be out a while and it's kind of like I said doing the live Morgan thing where it's affecting

a whole bunch of plans. Yeah, we'll see everyone. Because... Because from what I understand it's supposed to be Seth and Roman at SummerSlam. Not anymore. We'll see what happens. Oh, Jessica was in this one.

Paul Hey, Paul Hey, even bugs me with his dumb little smirks and his side eyes and... I think it's hilarious. The only thing that's creepy is the, like, when he used to, like, stare at Roman. Yeah. When they're walking in, he's not even looking where he's going. He's just looking at him.

All right, right here. Seth goes, boom, goes for a stomp. Kind of goes, ah, L.A. Knight tries to pick him up, drops him back down, baby in the knee. Super kick to L.A. Knight. He goes in for, goes on the, outside. He sets up L.A. night. He goes up on the outside. Seth's about to do the jump up on the top, do the

somersault, and then yeah, his knee like tweaked. And then he did the, the moonsault off the second rope. And then that's when he kind of fell. He came down and just fell. Then he kind of scoots into the corner. Jessica's like, you're all right, you're all right. Then Paul Heemann, and we see Seth talking to Paul. Paul Heyman, L.A. Knight kind of walks up on him and then Jessica stopped him. Even Seth Rallens kind of holds up his hand like, hold on.

So we can't see what Seth's saying. He kind of holds his arm up in front of his face. Jessica looks like she, she's messing with her little earpiece. Like, I'm sure someone's yelling at her in her ears. And then L.A. Knight just kind of starts walking around the ring and he goes and stands in the corner. or like, what are we doing here? Another official jumps in, one of the medics, he jumps into the ring. And they're kind of like, all right, what are we going to do?

And Seth is still talking to Paul. And then he's kind of like, all right, man, I'll, I'll continue. But he's shaking his head like, dude, I'm fucked up. I don't think I can go. Because even Jessica's leaning in there. What are we doing? What are we doing? And L.A. night's just walking around back and forth.

Seth slowly kind of gets up. he goes and gives him a quick little kick and they gives him the BFT and then Seth just doesn't even try anymore. He just takes the pin and LA night wins. So, I mean, this, if it was like,

all right, I'm hurt, I'm going to go out for a while. They would have planned it a little more. This didn't look like it was like planned. So I don't know. I think he did, he was already hurt,

but I think he just really, hurt himself during this match. So I don't know. I mean, but he's out. So we'll see what happens. I still want to see more on him and see him punk go at it. I mean, they've had matches,

but it wasn't like anything that, like, brought the house down or anything. So Petco Park, what's going on there? I just saw our advertisement for, something this next match was this the um goldberg and yeah this trash ass match

uh goldberg yeah I mean you you want you want to see him but I'm surprised they let him lose I mean I knew he wasn't going to win I figured something was going to happen to where

there's disqualification or whatever or even there would have been good opportunity to have Goldberg's son jump in and maybe cause it. Get wrecked by Gunther too? Yeah. I think that would have been all right. But the true all-star of this match is Charles Robinson. Oh, bless that man. Yeah, man.

He took another one for the team. He took a big spear from Goldberg and he got hit hell of hard. Then he just goes rolling out of the ring. If you go to YouTube, I did this earlier today. I just put in Charles Robinson bumps. Man, that man has been through a lot throughout the years. I mean, just lately he's been getting hit hell of hard. But he's been at this for a long time, man.

He's been beat up by everyone. He even tried to pick up, um, Nia Jacks. Did you see that video? Yeah. He had to pick her up and she just, he couldn't do it. She just fell on top of him. But Goldberg, he, yes, he's in good shape for his age.

But I think this should have had him go against somebody else. Someone not as big and brutal. Could have through someone that he could have. to throw around for a while. Because Gunther was just... I don't even know how that's going to work with Seam Punk, but we'll see.

And Goldberg was a little sloppy. I mean, I know a lot of people didn't like working with him. He's only got a handful of moves, spear, jackhammer, and then just rough you up. So this match was like, ugh.

So I don't know. I mean, Gunther did what he had to do to try to carry him, basically. I mean, because Goldberg was pretty much running the match until the end. But, yeah, it wasn't anything super exciting. I mean, I enjoyed it. Don't get me wrong. I mean, it was just like, eh, it was all right. Yeah, I heard.

Did you hear he apologized to Gunther for no selling him? his chops. Oh, when he was just smiling? Yeah. I guess he wasn't supposed to do that. He said something about when he chopped me, I thought they were going to be harder. So I kind of laughed.

Oh, I thought he was just showing. I ain't no punk. I could take your chops. But if it wasn't set. Well, he goes charging at Gunther. Of course, that one corner. that always gets it. They need to work on that corner.

I don't know. Put some more screws in it or something. It's always falling apart. Yeah. Goldberg's dropping them their fists in the side of Gutters' face. I mean, they must talk it out. He probably does say, you know what, man?
