Welcome to another episode of The Wrestling Return. The Wrestling Return is finally back, and we're going to start out with some big news before we get to the main topic. Oh, shit, this was so big. It could have been the main topic, and that is C.M. Punk returning, the AEW. Ness, what are your thoughts? Oh, fuck. I mean, we heard the rumors. These rumors have been going on for a while But punk did say he wouldn't He wouldn't come back

Because everything he'd done even during his little MMA stint I mean people were asking him Are you ever going to return to wrestling He just kept saying no no no But then I started to see I were listening to him on another podcast And he was like well maybe if the price is right I will And then he started going

Eh never never say never and all this and and then when the pandemic started he was like if I come back I don't I want to do I want to come back with a crowd he didn't want to come back with just an empty studio

or anything so I think that was at that point I was like all right he's going to return at at some point I haven't really been keeping up with AEW that much but then they were they were hinting and shout out to

Taylor he was saying they were hinting around at everything and then I started reading things and then seeing things that I yeah he was coming so ah I was juiced I had to I had since gotten rid of my my cable and satellite and everything

so I didn't know what it was streaming on and I found out it was streaming on sling so I did it just it hooked that all up really quick just in time to see him come out and oh my god was it glorious i mean you you heard the crowd everyone if you watched it or listening to the show that was yeah that was a clip i played at the beginning

and you saw or heard how loud that crowd was that chicago crowd see him punk's hometown and they were so loud you couldn't even hear his intro music uh the living color cult of personality you really couldn't you can hear it but you couldn't hear it everybody was so loud and that crowd was hyped everybody was man there was the signs the flags oh man he had motherfuckers crying and then dude I shit you not I did shed a tear because I couldn't believe it I mean yeah and real quick there there's people going in on that guy and And what the, what the cool thing is, I guess Tommy Dreamer is looking for him.

Uh-huh. He, he wants to invite him to the next impact pay-per-view. And I guess he spoke to the cons about getting him, like, a bunch of tickets to, like, AEW events and stuff like that. So if you, man, if you haven't got contacted, you just happen to be listening to this. Tommy Dreamers looking for you, man. I mean, cool, man. I mean, he felt it, man. he was obviously he was a CM punk fan and shout out to the camera guys they always seemed to catch

everyone I mean I'm did as soon as that image came across he immediately turned into a meme and I mean I got nothing but respect for that guy he was a man and and and it made him cry shit I'd have got me on camera or whatever shit I I wouldn't care yet everyone tease me and laugh around about it but oh well shit I got a got a little bit Misty Hyde at the latest episode of Reservation Dogs because I know that situation oh too well. Oh, man. Yeah, I don't want to get into that one right now.

But, man, I mean, again, he was hyped just like everybody else in there. I mean, everybody was hyped and they were super excited. And it was a long intro because he, punk was just soaking it in. He just couldn't believe it. I mean, he just came out. and was looking at the crowd giving everybody what they wanted I mean he fucked the pandemic giving everybody high fives he dad he jumped into the crowd at one point that one of the videos I saw when he was like kind of hugging guys

and then he kind of pointed to the other dudes ran across the strages the stage is the other ramp and did like a stage dive in the crowd security was not liking that oh man but he was hiding to man you can clearly see it in his face I mean, the bitter, grumpy punk that was towards the end of his WWE run. But we all know why he was upset with that company. But I'm glad he's back. I mean, this next pay-per-view, when is that one when he's taking on Darby Allen? I know it's early September.

Let me look at it real quick. But yeah, he spoke on that. He threw some shots in there at WWE. He said where he was, he couldn't physically, spiritually, mentally, he couldn't get better. I mean, he said it in many of his little pipe bombs. I mean, he wanted that company, WW, to let the other guys on the rosters in the back shine. Not just take, I mean, we said this before or I've said this before. They only have like a handful of people that are always on TV that are on all the pay-per-views.

Oh, who will get to that? No. Get to it. Yeah, but I mean, and he was like, there's other people back there that work just as hard as all of us that are always on TV. And they just do it. When you go to house shows and everything, yeah, we see them all. But he wanted everyone to shine, not just him, not just seen us. and whoever else was big at the time.

I don't remember it was a while ago. But, I mean, he wanted everybody to work. Because I'm sure, man, you're the main guys, and you're working every single night, every week, and you get tired. And then, hey, man, let me get a break. And then there was some things in his life that he needed to take off, but then the Vince and then weren't letting him.

And he just, years and years of it, you're building up on it. He finally said, he said, fuck it, I'm out of here. He does. September 5th. All right. And that's in Chicago again. Another hometown crowd. And everyone's going to go.

I'm sure that shit's sold out already. But it was awesome. I mean, it was glorious. And I know a lot of people don't like punk. I've met him a few times. He was cool with me. And it was awesome. I mean, I thought it was just an amazing night for wrestling.

An amazing night for AEW. all elite wrestling. I mean, Tim Punk is all elite now. So cool. I don't know how long he's going to do it. I mean,

he like broke the internet other than him coming back and his t-shirt crashed pro wrestling teams. I was like that. Yeah, I think one of the Bullet Club t-shirts was number one for like the past

like seven years. And I guess in less than 72, 72 hours, his t-shirt broke that record. Oh, yeah. I didn't get mine yet because I tried to when I was on. I went on like immediately while he was talking couldn't get through. I was like weak.

And I mean, but what's cool about pro wrestling teas? I mean, give them a little plug. I mean, they make like on demand. When you order it, that's when they make it. They don't have, well, they probably do have some sitting around. But usually, I mean, every shirt that I've gotten from them, a lot of indie wrestlers and everything. I mean, the quality is good. They use really good t-shirts.

They're not just shit ones that fall apart or shrink when you wash them. The screen printing is good. It doesn't, a few washes, doesn't wash it away. I've bought many shirts from many bands and everything, and you wash them once and it basically falls apart. The last shirt I bought for them was a CM Punk shirt. Not the new one, but one of the other ones with the two straight-edge fits. and the lightning bolts and everything so I have that one I also got a mask with the same design on it

and just yeah definitely for all the indie wrestlers and everything there is some known characters and I mean known wrestlers that are on there as well but then there's a lot of indie wrestlers as well shout out to Navajo warrior and Kyle Hawk I bought shirts from pro wrestling teas of theirs I got to represent for them, Native Brothers. But yeah, man, definitely, I mean, I'm sure if you guys are listening to this, you already know that website. And I'm sure you have all bought T-shirts from there. But that site crashed. But it's all up now.

It's up and ready to go. And everyone, so go there and get your CM Punk shirt. I'm going to get me a shirt and I'm going to get me that flag. Because those are those pro-light wrestling team guys were right in the front row holding that flag. And I was like, oh, man. But, man, it was glorious. I just, I couldn't believe it. And shout out to my son Kyle.

That was, CM Punk was his favorite wrestler. And yeah, I shed a tear. To see CM Punk back in the squared circle and to honor my son. I mean, it was just, I couldn't believe it. So, but it was awesome. I don't want to start tearing up now. I did tear up a little when we recorded our ESP. episode when I was talking about this but I mean it was awesome I just couldn't believe it and I cannot wait to see him back in the ring

I watch his videos where he trains and everything um he's been out of the game for a long time yeah he did the the MMA UFC stuff but we'll see I mean everyone yeah everyone talks shit about him because he lost those fights but man he had the balls enough to get in there and do it I mean I'm I wouldn't do it But, I mean, he did it. Yes, he moved a little bit forward way too fast only because of who he is. But, I mean, they were trying to capitalize on it. But, I mean, he said it himself. Look, man, I did it.

And I lost. He goes, I got no regrets. I mean, those guys that beat him, they were awesome fighters and everything. But to top this night off, man, if you guys know punk, he's always wanted his own ice cream bar. Like with the WWE, I mean, if you guys remember, you old schoolers, remember the WWF ice cream bars? I had one once when we went to WrestleMania.

Well, it wasn't, we weren't at, at WrestleMania 3. It was one of those big, close circuit TV things. Basically, the early stages of pay-per-view, where we went to the Oakland Coliseum Arena, and they had big giant movie screens in there, and they, to the close circuit of the events. It was just like being there. The crowd was hyped. Everybody was in there,

we ran in there. We got our T-shirts and our programs, and they were selling our ice cream bars. That's the only time I had those, those WWF ice cream bars, and they just never did them again. I mean, a lot of fans want them back. Shit, if they did it, I'd buy them.

But I don't know if they would be those same ones. But Punk finally said he finally got his ice cream bar, and everybody that was in attendance, when they left, they all got one. And just those bags that I saw, the little rappers that came, and especially the CM Punk stuff on it, just those bags alone are going for a pretty penny on eBay right now.

No ice cream because it would have melted, but it was awesome. I'm sure someone got ran home, put one in their icebox, and still has it forever. but man I couldn't believe it again I mean it's awesome to see him come back again I don't know how long he's gonna be wrestling but hey it's it's better than nothing is glorious so he ain't going anywhere so he's got time oh man all right emotional all right let's uh let's move to weirdly just this is strange to say Saturdays

Summer Slam events This was in Las Vegas, what was the stadium? The Legion. Allegiant Stadium? Yeah, home of who does? Oh, fuck. If you guys listen into my little episode, I did

be in a shout out to add DJ Thrills or I am DJ Thrills on Instagram is my buddy that I work with. We went down to Vegas to SummerSlam. All right, everyone.

It's not the Death Star. I don't give a fuck what you guys say. And if Oakland A in front of Raiders is not the Raiders, so I don't give a fuck. If you guys been listening to East Society and everything else, you know how I feel about that bitch-ass team. But anyway, I didn't follow them to L.A. If I was only an Oakland Raiders fan,

and that's all I'll ever be. I still have my Oakland Raiders stuff, but I'll never wear anything. He says, L.A. Raiders or Las Vegas Raiders. And damn, there was fucking a ton of it all over the place down there. But with that being said, I thought it was a cool stadium. It looked neat. I mean, I just seen the pictures and everything, but when we finally, I was standing there out in front of it, I mean, I thought it looks neat.

It's this black dome stadium. I mean, I thought it was a neat design. inside I think we were on the south end and I figured you'd walk in and see all this Raiders shit everywhere dude I couldn't tell you I think the only things I remember seeing

there was a big old picture of Chuckie Gruden he was there I saw that and then there was some kind of big Raiders emblem art piece it was like one of those it was like a bunch of different pieces

if you look straight at it you see the Raiders shield and everything but if you went to the side of it it was just like a bunch of pieces it was one of those artworks you had to be standing in front of it to see it so I thought that was cool but I don't I don't really remember seeing the just win baby or shit like that anywhere in there I mean, there was the raider signs, and that was about it.

I mean, I don't know. I mean, at the Coliseum, when they had it, there was, they had all kinds of shit raiders all over the place, as well as the Oakland Aids. If they go to Vegas, fuck them, I'm a Dodger fan. Never be a Giants fan. One side of the bay only. Fuck the Giants and the 49ers.

Anyway. And listening to when you were there live, I think one of my favorite parts is, also gave no love to the 49ers no and then one of the first couple people you talked to were from San Francisco that that was funny yeah they when I was going fuck the Raiders I think I said something about the 49ers they kind of turned around and that's when I started talking to them I didn't get I didn't get their names but they were cool guys um that episode's only like me 10 to 12 minutes but to me you can hear the crowd everybody wooing and everybody hyped

and everything. I was just trying to record something while we were there before the actual kickoff show began. I didn't really get to look around too much, but looking in the stadium, I didn't see the big giant Jumbotron because we were under that. We were actually

on the first deck. There's three levels to the stadium because us looking down the field, you could see there's two giant there's two big screens over there. But the one above us was a big long big long one at the very top I noticed that one when I got home and rewatched it

I wasn't sure if they were going to do the the pillars I thought that because I thought they were just going to hang lights and everything from the from the ceiling but it was it was way too high so they actually had the the little four pillars in there to hold up of more screens and have lights I was looking at that and there's been many many different ones when they when they have WrestleMania's or whatever when they have those those four Post and everything there and it just if you're sitting there you can't see shit It's so um, but I mean but with that being said I thought it was a cool stadium

It was happens every time It was nice and cool in there because man it was hot outside But once we got in what we were good Um usually they have like a big selection of t-shirts there wasn't many there was all the John Cena stuff of course because he was there

Roman Raines the head of the table and whatever else he had the RK bro shirt um and then some other random things the only thing I bought there merchandise wise

was one of those little backpacks because they wouldn't let you bring bags in there and I wasn't sure if I was spending in the night because we were It was just trying. It was a fly down there, go to the show, and then fly home the next day. But I still had some things because DJ Thrills, my buddy Reg.

He went to some things where they were handed stuff out. I got, or he got him, but he didn't want him. He just came to me. There was like a WWE Spotify towel, some sunglasses, a coozy. And before when we were walking in, they were standing outside handing out these white WWE design towels just little I'm like it looks like a big washcloth

but that was cool you see the guys you see people holding those up during the pay-per-view and everything but I thought we had really good seats I mean we could see everything we could see the screens we could see the ring

and I just we had an amazing time and you can still hear it in my voice I mean I woke up with a sore throat the next day because I was I was hooting and hollering and and singing I think I really went off when when Edge came out but that that was amazing oh but it was cool man but overall man we had a really good time well I will I go to a football game there maybe if the Seattle Cawks are there I'll go again I know they just the Raiders roughed us up with the preseason game

but this this is something I learned today actually at work I was talking a friend of mine when we were walking in I was just kind of looking around and then I saw a field outside like the football field and I thought it was the the practice field I was like well they got a practice field right outside turns out my buddy said no when they that that field can go in and out of the stadium all right yeah it's on big roller. So when games are going on, they roll it in, do what they got to do, and then they

roll it back outside, and let the sun hit it. And I guess they're sharing that stadium with the UNLV with their football team. So, because I was looking at it and I was like, this

doesn't look very good. I mean, the field looked kind of beat up. And that's why I just thought it was a practice field. But then he was like no it goes in and out I'll send you the picture and you can clearly see the outlines of where the The pain goes on the field and I guess they got to take that up off and on put the Raiders one and then put the UNLV and I'm like Hmm. Okay, but I I didn't know they did that I didn't know the field went went in and out but um

they were saying now there's some other places that do it and I'm like well okay I mean long as do what you got to do from before when they were building this place they were saying that there was going to be no parking there they said parking was going to be like mile down the road and I was like oh whatever so when we went there there was two parking lots I don't know how big they were but um guess how much it cost to park. I don't even want to know how much. A hundred dollars.

What? Yes. I was like, because when we rolled up and he was like, how much is at the park? And that lady went a hundred. We went, what?

They said, yeah, it's $100 to park. Again, shout out to my buddy, man. He paid it. But I was like, ooh, I was said that. Never mind. I would have went in a park somewhere at a casino and took a Uber over.

But I was like, what the fuck, man? I was like, you cheap-ass bastards, man. I guess you got to do what you got to pay for that stadium. Yeah. I was like $100. That's crazy. Shit, I was bitching at Oakland Coliseum when they were charging $50. And this is $50 more.

I'm like, who the fuck? Well, obviously people were paying it. The lot wasn't full because I think a lot of people said fuck that. But dude, shit. I mean, you made thousands of dollars if you fill those parking lots at $100 bucks a pop. I'm like, hell no. Maybe if I rolled up in a van and everybody chipped in, cool. But no, I'm never going to pay to park there.

$100 is fucking crazy. But, all right. I mean, you fucking whatever the fuck that guy's name, Davis guy, whatever his name is. Man, these greedy motherfuckers, but hey man, I guess the struggle

is real. Yeah, even when you're a millionaire, but this is how the rich stay rich, but yeah. Oh, my God, but with that being said, it was a nice stadium. Cool design. It looked neat. Um, but

Yeah, bottom line Fuck the Raiders But we weren't there for that I'll be back there next year for money in the bank Yeah, I saw that they announced that Yeah, so I thought that As soon as that came across the screen My buddy said we're coming back

I was like fuck yeah And obviously there'll be a WrestleMania there At some point I think for money in the bank I'm gonna shell out a little more And try to be on the floor Or maybe Uh

Closer rows, rose down So, I mean, I thought where we sat was cool. We were kind of way up second to the top row on that first deck. So, I mean, we had really good seas. We could see everything. And we were right in the aisle so I can run in and out to the bathroom if we needed to. Oh, another thing happened there. When we got in there, we got food.

Of course, stadium food, whatever is expensive. Fucking $14 beers. I was like, but the food was cool. I just had chicken strips and fries I thought they were really good I did get my silvernar cup with my lemonade but I guess sometime during

this event the I guess the Wi-Fi went out they had actually Wi-Fi in there for everybody because I was on it the whole time I mean I was posting videos and pictures and it boom

it was like lightning speed but I guess sometime during this time the it all went out they couldn't do any card and I don't think they were taking cash and they go just card only

um they it just went out and they couldn't get it they couldn't get back up and they were starting to give food and drinks away oh wow I was like fuck I didn't I heard some lady

say like man they just gave me this it was free and I turned around but that's when Edge and Seth Rohns was starting so I wasn't going to run out there go get food and come back. I didn't want to miss it. And then I just completely forgot about it. But my buddy, he did leave.

He went to the bathroom and then he was going to buy some water. And they said, no, here you go. And he was like, well, how much? They said, oh, it's free. He was like, fuck. I said, why didn't you get more? But he's like, oh, this is all I wanted. So, but I assume everyone, as soon as they found out, everything was free,

everyone probably tore back there and got it all. But, um. Parking paid for it. Yeah. And they were saying that the toilets overflowed. everything I was like what it was like I know there was a one game here already and I maybe I don't know maybe that some college game but this stadium's too brand new for shit like that I can understand the internet yeah that's it's gonna happen no matter

what but I mean I don't know was everyone pissing and shit in that hard toward clogged I don't know the curse of the Raiders I guess man so I was I mean because When I went to the bathroom, yeah, I mean, of course, man, stadium, football, wrestling, whatever. I mean, I don't know how old these guys. I don't know how come these guys don't know how to piss and can't lift the seats, but okay. I mean, but other than that, I mean, again, I mean,

fuck the Raiders, but I thought it was a cool stadium and it was nice inside. AC was blown, so we were nice and cool. We got a little chilly at points, but, I mean, we weren't sitting there sweating. And it seemed a little hazy in there because of the, the fires that's going on in California and Nevada. It was nice and blue. It was good to see the sky.

But that he was killing me. But because when we walked in there, I was like, is it my eyes or is it kind of hazy in here? And they said, smoke was coming in when it was smoky. So I was like, okay. But other than that, for some other than that, for some other reason, I thought the top opened. enclosed but it didn't look like it and I guess the pictures I saw they're saying is glass on the top or play clearly I don't know but you can't even see outside you there's these other little white things under it I mean the you could see the

light coming through from from the sun but now you you if you look up you you can't see outside so I was like all right whatever but yeah again I thought it was a stadium. I mean, I won't be there next year for money in the bank. But Summer's Lamb, I was one of the reasons we're here. What did you think of the whole event? I was, I was entertained throughout most of it. I mean, there was some moments that it made me jump up and say, this is a bunch of bullshit. And I just, I don't know what's going on sometimes. I mean, there was points where I'm watching it and I'm having a good time and then something will happen and I'll just be like what the fuck is happening right now and we'll get to the main one but yeah that that

edge entrance that was probably fucking one of the best things all year I love that that old school brood entrance and he came out of the ring of fire from the ground yeah I thought maybe because I think it was a smackdown. He gave Seth Rons the blood bath and I thought that as far as it was going to go. But when he brought out the entrance and then transitioned to his theme music, I was like, this is fucking amazing.

Yeah, that was cool. I mean, just to jump forward to his entrance. When the lights went out and then all the flames on the screens and everything and the red lights. and everybody went, ah, everybody lost it.

And then from where we were sitting, we couldn't see him come out of that. I was watching the screens. So, but I watched somebody's video that filmed it. They pushed out a big, like, box, and then they added a ramp to it. And then that's what he came out.

He rose up out of and came walking down the ramp. But yeah, man, I didn't think I'd ever see that again. And if you guys remember, the brood and everything with gangrel and Christian was the other dude and so our

what's his name now? Christian Christian Cage Yeah Impact world champion Let's I guess let's start with the kickoff match You're going to have to give us your thoughts on this This is the only match I didn't see

And this was Big E defeating Baron Corbin All right it was cool everybody was ready but people were still pouring in when this was going on I always feel sorry for these guys in the kickoff shows because no one's ever in there when they're on but we were I wanted to be in there for the whole thing but I thought it was a good match man I thought they were really

beating the shit out of each other I mean what happened to Baron Corbyn he went from he lost his crown and he's broke now the lone wolf to to the king of the ring or whatever, King Corbyn. Remember he was general manager? Yeah. And I was like, man, I was like, look at it. I was like, what?

I haven't been keeping up. I was like, what the fuck happened? I guess when he lost his crown, somehow he became broke and he was living in his car. And he was asking for handouts and favors and he's losing matches. So I don't know what they're doing with his character. I mean, I don't know how he feels. about the whole thing, but it's entertaining. It was funny.

He just came out all rugged. His hair's growing back. I was tired. But, I mean, he did steal the money in the bank from Big E. And because when he came out, I mean, Big E came out, hyped everyone up. No, Baron Corbyn came out first, I think. I don't remember. But the way he was holding the case and just looking all scared and everything.

I loved it, man. I was laughing a little hard, but once they actually got in the ring, they did what they had to do. And it was entertaining. I thought both of them went hell of hard. Big E is Big E. He does what his moves that he does, the big ending and all of that. But a lot of it was outside of the ring. They kept chasing each other.

But it was more hysterical than, oh, yeah, but it was a good match. I really enjoyed it. But the section we were in, everybody was hyped and everybody was just laughing and everything and what was going on. At one point, they were all rooting for Big E. And then when Baron Corbyn was doing this whole stick, everyone started cheering for him. So I thought that was cool. I was just laughing at the whole thing. But his Baron Corbin's appearance just made me laugh.

But Biggie. He got like stains on the shirt too. Biggie ended up. pinning Corbin for the one, two, three, and then he got his case back. It was funny. It was a good time. I know if you guys have never been to an actual live event, I mean, it's not like TV where you can hear the commentators the whole time.

The only time you hear, other than what you're hearing with the slamming each other in the ring, is when they're on the mic. You don't hear the commentators at all. Because one of one of my friends was like, how come we don't hear anything? I'm like, dude, that's just TV. All we're here, all you're doing is watching the wrestling. So, but it was, my friend watched and he was like, man, that pay-per-view was terrible. I was like, maybe it's different when you're there because you're there to have a good time and enjoy and hoot and hoot and hollers.

So, yeah, because we've talked about many pay-per-views that weren't very good. But, I mean, since I was there, I had a really good time. And the kickoff show is awesome. Watching Big E. Throw Baron Corbyn around. All right. I am on CBSSports.com and I'm going down their list. I don't even remember if this is the exact order.

I assume it is. But Alexa Bliss. Take it out. All right. First of all, I am not an Alexa Bliss fan, but I've said it before. I like this new Alexa Bliss on what they're doing with her. I like how she looks. looks. Even Marie, she's gotten better than she was in the beginning.

Because when she first came on, she was just there for looks. And yeah, damn, she is hot. And she's just like hotter now. I don't know if anything's changed. Yeah. The last time I saw her in the ring was at WrestleMania when it was at the Cowboy Stadium. Even then, I was, I was like, man, she's, she's got better. And then she was gone for a long time. And then she was modeling and doing whatever she's doing with her husband. And then she, they brought her back. And she's still not the greatest, but she was better than when she first came on. They didn't get her for her looks. They needed a new heel, I guess. And then, hey, we'll give you some more money. Come on. So, I mean, I don't still understand why they got they got tons of a female good female talent why didn't they just

push them into the spot but hey it's not my money it's not my show so but um the match wasn't the greatest but it was it was funny i mean i want i i kind of want that lily doll i saw a lot of them in the crowd yeah they were they were selling them there and uh then i just kind of forgot about it but uh looking at on WWE shop, they were 30 bucks. I was like, I don't know, 25, 20, maybe, but 30, I don't know. But yeah, I did like when she came out, how she was holding hers and all the people that were on the aisle when she was coming out, she was, like, touching everybody else's

In this one I love the Usos like last time I can't tell you who's who but I didn't notice their hairstyles are different but then I couldn't tell you who who is who but all four of them they always go hard I mean again we did talk about Dominic on the last one like yeah he got

he got pushed up forward only because of who his dad is yeah but I honestly thought this was his worst match I thought he was a little kind of missing his mark here. Yeah, that's what I was catching all those little mistakes, but then again

I mean, how long has he actually been wrestling? Yeah, true. So I don't know, I'm sure he's been training and all that with his dad and everything, but did he do indie stuff or did he just go straight from his garage at home and then right into the big ring? I don't know.

I mean, I'll applaud him if that's what he did because what was his first match set ralins yeah a couple years ago at summer slam so i i applaud him but yeah i think they're i still think they're pushing him too fast yeah i think if he stays with his dad i mean they both both work off each other but um when i seen yeah that match i didn't really care for him and seth rowland's his first match i thought it was like eh it just seemed like seth was carrying him carrying him all the time.

But with this match, there was, yeah, there was a lot of mistakes in it, especially the ending when the Uso's double super kicked Ray and clear as day. Even from where I was sitting, way in the back, they basically just touched the bottom shoes to each other. The camera guys tried to just cut away from it really quick, but I mean, we saw it. I mean, I saw it from way back where I was sitting. And I was like, whoa, every kind of they mess up, I will yell out, miss. Hell loud.

But overall, it was a good match. I thought it was good. They were doing plenty of shouts out to the late and great Eddie Guerrero. I love that. That always got me hype, and they're doing the little Eddie shuffle. Yeah, that's probably where I was kind of like, because I did like the shout out, but what was it, the three amigos? Yeah.

I was Dominique, looking a little, little rough on that one. But that one part, man, it looked like Dominic hit his head pretty hard. He was climbing up to the top rope and one of the Uso's pushed him off. And instead of just falling, I mean, yeah, you got to make it look cool. He, like leaped. and I think he went a little too far hit his head on the on the barricade but

But we were sitting out, I was already, they brought out beyond because she came out and did her whole, her whole stick, but then the guy got on the mic and made the announcement that Shasha Banks wasn't going to perform tonight. Is this when you found out?

Yeah. Okay, because me being at home watching this on, on P-card and scrolling through my phone, they actually announced that Sasha wasn't going to be there before the announcer announced it. So they didn't say, but I'm like, okay, this is where Becky comes in. So I was shocked that whole time. Yeah. Because I was like, as soon as they said she wasn't, I was like, I was like, I wasn't the only one.

Other people were hooting it and holl and then people started with the bullshit chant. Because then they brought out, uh, mella is money. I don't, I don't like her new interest music. I like that, the fabulous one or whatever before. No more, no more moonwalks. I, I ain't, I liked her since she was with, uh, was it, uh, the fuck was this, the tag team. Oh, big cast and, uh, andzo? Yeah, that's when I liked her.

I, Enzo. Oh, man. I know he's out there still doing it somewhere. Oh, really quick. During the kickoff show, that one fucking hack was there. The YouTube boxer guy. Which one? Yeah, I don't know.

a chance but uh carmella i mean i liked her yeah she was miss money in the bank and yeah she was the champ at one point and yeah i think she's hot um is she's still banging uh cori's dumbass uh i think he always alludes to something like that so I don't know he was getting all crazy when Eva Marie was out there. So you never know what that guy. I've never liked him. So, but anyway, yeah, so she came out and she was all, they were already getting ready to get into it. And then Becky Lynch's music hit and that place blew up.

Everybody went nuts. I mean, I think that was probably the loudest time it was in there when she came back. She's a new mom. I assume they got nannies to watch the baby. Unless the baby they were doing the handoff. And maybe Seth was watching the baby while she went out there and did her thing. But, yeah, it was awesome to see her.

This was her return. But I just thought they did Bianca Bellar fucking dirty with this. Because it wasn't even a match. I mean, they're great in it a D. I already gave this match an F. Again, it was awesome to see Becky, but I thought they just slapped Bianca Bella in the face with this. Yeah, this match was complete fucking garbage.

I, man, everything that she's built up to being, they just fucking threw that away. Everything from the past year, you everybody knows that listens I'm not a Sasha Banks fan I know everybody's heard when Nez comes on the main show and he plays her bullshit music and I got to listen to it but a rematch from what they did at WrestleMania would have been amazing yeah and then you bring Becky in which I'm excited to see her back because the women's division needs it but for her to apparently go heal kind of and sucker punch her and then steal the rocks move.

Yeah, she did. And then they're saying the match was under 20 seconds. That's garbage. That's complete garbage. And from what I'm reading, I guess Becky's supposed to go heal because I guess she was taunting fans with the belts and talking shit. And so. I don't know.

why she's gone heel but when was WrestleMania a couple months ago yeah April April April I think April May June July maybe four months of holding that belt I did or maybe it's building up to something maybe there's

But, I mean, I was happy to see both of them going at it. And I was happy to see them that both of them were back in the company. Yeah, they've been there for a few years now.

Gender did have his run as a champ, which I was shocked at. But I was happy. I mean, I was hooting and hollering when he won. But, I mean, If you guys don't really keep up on their stories on them getting let go and then bringing them back. But when they brought him back, these two aren't the ones, the slapsticky jobbers that they were. I mean, fucking Jenda Mahal came back, ripped as fuck. And so did Drew McIntyre.

And I loved his new look with the goatee and the beard and everything and all that. And yeah, he was the champ. And I thought it was awesome. I was happy when he won. but I thought they both went hell of hard. The match wasn't the greatest, but I mean, I enjoyed it. I think as a fan of both of them, I thought the match was cool. I know CBS only graded it to see, but what did you think of this one?

It was decent. To me, it was another filler match. I think they just don't have anything for Drew right now. and I think this this feud should have happened while he had the title it would have made more sense but we got it now and I mean it was what it was you know they went hard

the match was short and finish it off with fucking Drew swinging swords at people's heads and stuff like that recklessly so where were those two dudes were they there they go hang out with Jindamall I can't remember that Yeah, they came out when he did his entrance, and I guess it was part of the stipulation that they couldn't be there. And they didn't come out to the end.

And then Drew started swinging sword at their heads. Yeah, but I mean, it was what it was. I mean, I liked it. I mean, I love the Claymore move when he basically boots him in the face and everything. And Ginger sold it good. I thought it was awesome. All right. The next one, this is one of the matches I was really high.

hype for the raw women's championship match uh the champ at the time was niki ash almost superhero taking on the queen charlotte flier and the awesome ass ria rippley okay quick question i couldn't tell because i think this is uh this is when peacock started glitching out on me were they booing nicky the crowd no i thought i mean of course i mean that they they hear the cheers and booze, but, um, now I thought they cheered,

cheered for her when she came out. I mean, okay. I didn't really like this little almost superhero thing at first, but I think Nikki's selling it good. I prefer the, the, the wild and crazy,

wild Nikki Cross. She got there at one point during this match. Yeah, but, uh, I don't know if this was her decision, or maybe they just wanted to change her look to make her more kid,

friendly or something. I don't know. From what I read, this was the idea she pitched. Oh, well, then shit. They told them, go ahead, let's see what we can do, which, you know, they probably were like, if this gets over, we could sell all the little girls, you know, Nikki

ASH mask and Yeah, I mean, I think, I think this was her idea, cool. I mean, she obviously wants to do it and she's going forward. She's got the cape and everything in the mask. All three of them were hard and of course

Charlotte when she flies off the top of the spin during the at some point in the match when she always does it I think it was awesome Ria Ripley I just love her I'd rather had to see her and Charlotte go at it

but yeah we've seen that numerous times already but I thought the match was good it was exciting I was hooting and hollering and cheering and I just didn't like the ending. I mean, how many times is Charlotte going to win? Yeah.

Yeah, I, it should have been Ria. She should have won it. And this is when Becky should have came out. Yeah. Because I would have loved to see Becky and Ria go at it. I think we'll see it at some point. But I was like, mm-hmm.

not her latest action figure from the elite collection, but one of them, because she doesn't have the black lipstick and all that on. But either way, I'm sure they'll come out with another one. but I mean the match was awesome they graded it a minus and

yeah I'll take I'll take that grade but I mean again all of them they all go hard especially Charlotte and Ria but and Nikki held her own in there I thought she was she performed a good she did what she had to do

but you can see the look in her face too when she lost the belt and she didn't she had the belt when was money in the bank a month ago or something like that yeah And then one money in the bank and then cashed in the next night on Raw and then now she loses it here. I would have rather had, like you said, maybe Becky coming out here and then her interfering and having them stop the match because she jumped into it.

Oh, actually, it was the first match, I think. The raw tag team champions match, AJ Styles, almost against R.K. Bro. Randy Arton and I liked Matt Riddle, not just Riddle. That's what they do. I told you the last time we, I don't know if it was action or wrestling, but like, what was it,

Shotsie Blackheart? I think she's just like Shotsie. And I can't think of the other girl's name is, Tegan Knox. I think she's just Knox now. I don't know, I don't know why they do that. I didn't like that when they did that to Mustafa Ali,

when they just turned them into Ali. Yeah. I'm like, no, but I'm glad that they let him bring, Mustafa back. But again, the women's one, it was awesome. I thought it was a really good match. They all went hard.

But to go back to the raw tag team championship, AJ Styles almost against R.K. Bro. It had its moments. I like Riddle. He's funny and he does what he does. He's a high flyer as well. I feel, I don't know how his feet feel.

Jumping up and down and everything on there. with no kind of padding. He's in much better shape than I am, but almost, I just wanted to see him going there and just destroy everyone like he did before. But, I mean, AJ Styles and Randy Orton, they do what they do.

The Viper, he's still badass. AJ Styles is still just one of the greatest, but I thought the match was all right. um to arcay bro ended up uh pinning um uh randy pinned uh what's it nuts a j styles and and that gave my r koh yeah i thought it was kind of sloppy but uh it was what it was what you think of this one it it i don't even remember i watched it but i don't even remember nothing from it i just remember i know riddle was going in hard at first and then I just remember the finish with Randy Givens, AJ, the RKO.

I don't even remember almost even really doing anything in the match. Yeah, he was limited on what he did. He just came in to kind of through riddle around and then that was it. Yeah, I think they're finding that there isn't a whole lot he can do right now. So I don't know how entertaining his matches are going to be. yeah so i don't know we'll see i mean you know i hope he's in one of the rumbles or something

because i'm sure he'll just come walking in and throw everyone throw everyone around but i don't know we'll put him in a put him in a few with the mysterio so he can throw them around all right uh this was a match i was really juiced for edge uh taking on set ralins yeah we did talk about the entrance with the brood and everything Uh, the Monday night Messiah, the whatever he's calling himself now. The architect.

Every time he gets slammed those back, you see his head whip, or if he gets kicked in the head or in the back, I'm like, oh, just be careful. And the same thing for Seth.

If you guys saw that video when he blew his knee out and it bent the wrong way, who knows me? The doctors always say it just grows back stronger. Hopefully that's the case. And I hope neither of them have to go out for the same injury again. But, oh, man, this made my neck hurt every time Edge took a hard bump. I was just like. man and when they were up on the top rope and everything I was like oh my god

edge isn't a guy that flies all over the ring but I was still ooh I was feeling it but I did love when he ran dove through the ropes I thought that was awesome but overall I thought the match was badass I mean he even did a tribute to his wife when he glam slam yeah when he did that I lost it I went ah that was amazing I thought it was awesome but yeah what did you think uh i loved it i was just about to bring that up when he when he pulled out the glam slam i was like shout out to beth phoenix his wife and there was just so many awesome spots uh even when um a little bit after that uh edge went for the spear and he jumped right into a pedigree oh yeah set throles i was like this match was going hard i like the entrance i love the buildup to

I was like, okay, I don't think a match is going to happen. I was like, why did they do this? I mean, just to kill time? I mean... I guess they needed to make this paper because I think this was like over four hours. Oh, yeah. So I was like, I was excited and I did not like the revamp of Nakamura's music when that guy was rapping. It just didn't sound right.

It was stupid. But I'm glad they just kind of aced that and went back to his old thing. Because that's what gets everybody into it when everybody's singing. When you got 51,000 people in there singing along to his theme music, I thought that was awesome. All right. I guess you got to get a paycheck. Yeah. Good for him.

And the other filler thing with the Miz and Johnny Drip, and Xavier Woods, I was like, what the fuck is this he came out uh just like scott hall he had the curl in the in the the the toothpick yeah and the the dipstick two thousand or whatever the hell that thing was that was just like oh man at this time i was watching the clock because our flight left at nine 45 and we're like come on get stop this this bullshit and just get on to the next match. I was like just come on

I got to fly home. I don't want to miss that flight. Do you feel bad for them? Because Ms. and Johnny Trip Trip, because before this it was the zombies. I don't feel sorry for Ms. I mean, he's been at it a long time, but

So I don't know if he's thinking about leaving or just going to continue to do all this slapstick stuff. And I don't know. Yeah, I don't know either. All right. On to the next match. w w wwee championship match Bobby lash taking on

the WVE Hall of Famer Goldberg what the fuck was this it I don't know it was and I've said before I've been trying to be on my positive stuff with with my reviews

but this this match was garbage. It was boring. I'm tired of seeing Goldberg. I give him his respect as a Hall of Famer, but man, I'm tired of seeing you in there. I didn't understand this fucking angle with the end where he,

I guess, blows his knee out and they have to stop the match. And then, I don't know. And then the sun jumps in. And then Bobby, I guess, doesn't know it's a child on his back

and fucking, chokes him unconscious and I don't fucking understand what's going on and then MVP's kind of looking like Bobby just got a case or something for doing something to this child and he's just like

oh nobody knew it was a child jumping on his back and but anyways Bobby's the new champ or still the champ and then they jump out the ring and then that's it yeah I was like oh my God I mean so does this mean we're going to see more Goldberg. I guess.

And dude, he did not sell that thing at all. And it took him a second, too, because Goldberg was kind of off to the side in one of the corners, and MVP with this dumb little pimpstick whacked, or just like

tapped Goldberg in the back of the lake. Well, they're clearly protecting him because those chair shots Bobby was giving him. A few of those like when he was supposed to hit the knee, he just kind of tapped him. And then the other ones when they were a little bit harder were on the thigh. Yeah.

But it was just like when he hit him with the cane and Goldberg took a few more steps, then went, ah, and fell over. I was like, oh, my God. Why was he holding his leg in the air? I don't know. I mean, it was just like, what are you doing? I mean, why did you agree to this? Who knows how much they paid him to come back?

but oh man and dude Goldberg almost or pretty much threw Bobby Lashley on his head yeah oh man I mean Bobby just didn't get that flip good enough but when Goldberg threw him and he just he didn't land fully on his head it looked like he landed more of his shoulder neck type of thing

but either way man I was like oh man I hate to say it he's kind of a liability when you remember the his match with Undertaker and him dropping him on his head. Yeah, that was, that was what the greatest Royal Rumble or whatever. Yeah, and then he also hurt himself. Yeah, I was watching that match going on.

What's going on here? I mean, they were blaming it on the heat, which I can understand and I would buy that. I mean, these are two older gentlemen, way past the prime. and it's like a billion degrees out there under the Saudi Arabia heat, the night heat. Because they were saying, it was like 100 something.

I was like, oh, my God. And the sun was already down. But, yeah, I mean, this match,

I was just like, I wasn't the only one. A lot of people got up to go to the bathroom, we'll go get drinks or whatever. And I was just sitting there. I just sat down. I was like, oh,

whatever but um yeah both nothing against them they'll beat my ass both of them will but yeah this this was it didn't even end i mean or the referee had to stop it because goldberg wouldn't wouldn't get up and man he didn't sell that injury at all yeah this this should have ended with uh something something different and i'll get to that when we get there yeah but all right everyone everybody the time was getting late was past 8 o'clock I think was pushing the 830 mark and we finally got to the main event usually these pay-per-views started at 5 and ended 8 but since all the bullshit they were putting in between matches it just went way over than what they probably wanted but the universal championship match

roman reigns taking on johnsena when johnsena came out Everybody was hyped. Everybody was booing. But the Sea Nation was there in full effect. Because from where I was, just looking around the crowd, you knew who was a John Sina fan. Because they all had that new green shirt that he wore, money in the bank, that green and yellow hat that he had. Everybody had that on. And then, of course, his music hits and everyone starts booing and singing John C.

You know, it sucks and all that. But, I mean, I love Roman rains. I have my seat at the table, but... You have acknowledged him? Yeah, I've been a little part of the C-Nation a little bit longer, so I was rooting for him. I did like that new little entrance video that they showed, the little Super Mario rip-off.

The rip-off of Seam Punk shirt. That too. I like... I kind of wanted one. All right, everybody. For me, we only saw 10 minutes of this match because we had to leave. Okay. We had to get to the airport.

I mean, we had to go turn in the rent-a-car and then race over so we didn't miss our flight. We could have stayed and watched the whole thing and then left because the flight they said was on time, which they usually never are. and it wasn't on time. It left like after 10. I was like, man, we could have stayed there and watched the whole thing and then raced over here. But better safe than sorry. When we were in line going to security, there was a gentleman in his son. They stayed for the whole thing and they made it.

And they were like, oh, my God, man, did you see the ending? And we're like, what? He said, no, we left. But before we get to the ending, Um, this match was, I watched it when, no, I actually watched it when I was sitting in the airport. Um, but then I watched it again when I got home. Um, it, it was what it was. It was what I was expecting. For some reason, um, I was thinking John Cena was going to win just because he came back. But, um, no, Roman Raines is still the champ. And I thought they both went hard. I mean, of course, they, of course they have to. I mean, it's John Cena and Roman

rains. I mean, they do what they do and they do it good. So, but I was kind of shocked that Roman Reigned won. But then when that was said and done, well, before we get, before we get into that, what did you think of this match? I actually, I'm, I've become, ever since he did the whole tribal chief, head of the table, acknowledge me, all that stuff. I've become a big fan of his. And, And John Cena, I know what he can, you know, I'd talk shit about John Cena, but when he gets in there, he, you know, he does what he does. And I was actually surprised with this match, you know, they, like you said, they went hard.

Roman, I think he was stepping up the heel angle because he was in there. He was just talking to John the whole time. He was like, what you got, John? You got them saying tired-ass five moves and just constantly talking to him and telling everybody. he's wwe you know this is his house you know and i i thought it was a good match you know for what it was uh john came in there he he it's kind of weird seeing him now because he's smaller and then he's got that movie star hairdo it was kind of bothering me because he kept like flipping it around but i i i i was impressed man i i didn't think i was going to like this match uh i mean they were

billing it as the dream match, which is weird because we already seen them go against each other. But we're supposed to forget all about that. And, yeah, they were, they were hitting each other with finishers and kicking out. And they were keeping up the suspense. And Roman came out with the, with the win. And then we got a surprise that I think this surprise could have been for the Bobby Lashley Goldberg match. Yeah.

once it was over Roman was about to say something and then whatever was me and I was like I mean the last few pay-reviews I mean Brock Lesnar always comes back

so I was figuring every pay-review I'm like Brock Lesnar is going to return for whatever reason and it finally happened I was like the guy when we were standing the line he said man did you guys see what happened at the end when Brock Leszor came out

me and my buddy looked at each other and went ah we were like no man we had to leave and it was like oh man it was awesome I was like yeah that's when we got up to the gate and I just immediately went to peacock and fast forward it all the way to the end to see what happened but what did you take it his man button

times better shape than I am. But I was... He looked bigger in Suicide Squad than he did at SummerSlam. Oh, yeah, but that's a million times better. They filmed that a long time ago. So, I mean, but I was like, okay. I mean, what's happening here?

But all right. If that's his last match, cool. I mean, he didn't go out on top with a win, but, I mean, it's John Sina. He's had his time. What, 17-time champ? So, I mean, he's had his run. He had his Thugonomics and all that. but I mean, yeah,

John Sins got nothing to prove to anybody. He's been there, done it multiple, multiple times. So, if this is it, then then that's it. Go be the peacemaker. Can't wait for that show to come out

because he was badass and the suicide squad. But, yeah, as far as Brock Lesnar coming back, he always comes back. I mean,

I don't know how much money Vince throwing at him but I'm sure it's a lot for him to always come back he'll come back he'll probably even win a title I think at some point and then disappear but I I don't know what the hell's happening but uh summer slam yeah that was did you did you watch NXT the only match I watched was uh um um Gonzalez and Dakota Kai. That was the only one I was really won to see.

Like you said, Raquel Gonzalez defeated Dakota Kai to retain the women's NXT championship. Ila Droganov defeated Walter, which was shocking because that guy's.

been UK champ for a few years now. Two out of three falls match. Kyle O'Reilly defeated Adam Cole, which that was Adam Cole's, his contract was up that night. And there are some rumblings that he is going to AEW because he is dating Dr. Britt Baker, DMD, put some respect on it.

is on discount now so and then the main event Samojo defeated Carrying Cross by Penfall which I'm so happy that Joe's got a title Carrion's probably going to the

And from what I'm reading, NXT is supposed to get rebranded or revamped in the next couple weeks. Okay. I mean, I didn't think there's anything wrong with it, but all right.

Yeah. It's all part of this. People getting released. I was shocked that they'd release Bronson Reed and what was the Mercedes Martinez. Yeah. So I don't know. Triple H is supposed to be. He said that this is all geared towards bringing in new talent or focus.

I don't know. I didn't think there was like you said anything wrong with NXT, but they're doing it. Yeah, the Bruns and Reed release was, I was like, what? Why? But I don't know. he's got he's can't have two big brutes okay
