Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, welcome to another episode of the wrestling returns.
What's up, everybody, that the wrestling returns is back again, SummerSlam, 2023, Detroit Rock City, Tribal Combat.
We'll get to all that, but first, I'm your host, Brian.
With me as always is my brother, Ness. What's up, man?
You know, what's up, everybody?
We're back.
We should have been back a few days ago, but I live in the sticks.
My internet sucks.
Come on.
We need fiber wire or whatever the hell that thing is called.
My son had it when he was living in the bay.
And man, that was the best.
I used to go there and just download all my updates, everything, like super quick.
But we're up here on the res and this is the best we got.
But, oh, really quick before we dive in anything for you.
Actors, I saw this a while ago, but I just wasn't hip on her all that much other than I thought she was hot.
But this is before she changed her name.
This is from WWE Elite Collection Series 93.
First time in the line, Raquel Gonzalez, when she's got the NXT belt.
When did she actually change her name?
like I think when she debuted on smackdown
it was just all of a sudden
Rodriguez or something
all right
either way she's awesome
hot and I got a complaint
on this next one I want to say fuck Walmart
they shipped
my package
in one of these little bubble wrap bags
should have been in a box
they disrespected
mommy
Oh, no, no, mommy.
And the queen.
Man, I...
My mommy collection is climbing.
I got the three single ones that she has out.
But she did a double pack.
I'm not really sure when this one actually came out.
This is a series number seven.
It's the championship showdown.
Ria Ripley versus Charlotte Flair.
it's off the card
and it was open and loose
when I saw that it showed up in one of these bubble wrap bags
I was like oh man
and then I opened it up and it's like they just
took it off wherever they have all these
and just threw it in a bag and sent it out
so I wrote to them and they haven't
responded to me yet I'm gonna keep it
but I just need to get another one
because I'm in package guy so
but you got to get a dirty down to put like in a back somewhere lurking behind all the
mommy's oh yeah i have to and it better say dirty dom but uh i guess uh he said did uh mommy and uh
what did you get married or was it just an engagement announcement i've seen that picture uh it looked
like it, but I don't think so.
Maybe it was just an engagement or anniversary or something.
Come on, dirty dog.
I'm getting there.
Or is he already married?
Oh, gosh, that would have been an amazing picture if you just seen him in the background,
like peep around something.
Work it into the story.
Bring back Buddy Murphy.
But anyway, SummerSlam.
2023.
Yeah, like Detroit Rock City.
dumb ass kid rock in the beginning
I'm sorry everyone
Kid rock is garbage
He was all right when he was
In the earlier days
But then once he went country
I mean to each his own
My opinion
He's garbage now man
After
Was a history of rock
Or whatever that one album
It was an album after devil
Without a cause
After that one
It just went
It went downhill for me
But anyway
We're not here to talk about him
I'm surprised
what's her name
wasn't there
because when she was there
I think it was
Summer Slam
when they were making out
the trash Tammy
I love her
she's awesome
but yeah
what did you think
of this whole pay-per-view
it was up and down
for me
the opening
was pretty decent
a lot of
a lot of the matches turned out the way I thought I was happily surprised by the outcome of the women's title match.
Oh, yeah.
And I kind of saw it coming in the tribal combat match.
I kind of seen that coming.
I didn't see it exactly that way, but we'll get to it when somebody got involved.
I knew he was going to get involved somehow because he was gone for so long.
Yeah, yeah, we'll get to that.
I got some things to say about that.
And I guess the lows, well, we'll get to it when we get to it.
There was one extremely low didn't need to be a part of this paper or whatever.
It needed to be a part of it, but it didn't need to do what they did.
Yeah.
And I'm a, and you know, you know me, as I'm a fan of MMA.
So I'm going to speak on that part.
But we'll get to it.
Yeah, whatever that one.
Okay, whatever.
I mean, too, yeah.
But anyway, we'll kick it off.
Logan Paul versus Ricochet.
What's Ricochet's, is his wife or his girlfriend?
His fiance.
Okay.
She's hot, but whatever her name was.
I liked the buildup to it
I thought it was cool and what they were doing
Two each is on everyone on Logan Paul
I didn't really care for him when he first came in
Because I didn't really know much of him
But I did watch some of his
YouTube stuff and it was like
Who the hell is this fool?
I mean I don't know man
You can come out and
And just get famous from being an internet
personality or whatever cool do it
I think him and his brother were
on a Disney show
before you too
okay
well I've since he's been in the ring man
I've enjoyed every time he's been in
even when he just shows up to do some spots
and when he actually has his matches
I mean I'm I'm impressed
on how dedicated he is
to get in there and do it
because I've said this before there's been plenty
people that step in the
WWE that aren't wrestlers and just
make a fool of themselves.
But I think he really
puts in the time. He does put in the practice
and everything because
his moves are they the greatest? No.
But he's proved to me, as
a viewer, that he can get
in there and not be afraid
and go for the hard bumps and go for
the hard spots. So I
have no issue with him. I mean, I like
it. I was rooting for him.
I like Ricochet. He's badass. But
I was all about Logan Paul.
And speaking of that,
Logan Paul,
this episode is brought to you by a prime energy drink.
And let me crack this open.
I know there's a lawsuit up against it.
I don't know.
Something about it's too much caffeine in it,
but I don't know.
I haven't had the other ones because when he came out into the ring,
he was holding one of his,
I guess the bottle of the water one.
I haven't heard that.
He got another one,
fan-handed ones.
dumped it out of ricochet.
They must have gave that kid a couple of them
because yeah, he opened one up, took a sip, dumped it on a ricochet,
and then went after at the end of the match,
when he was walking out, he grabbed another one.
But I thought this match was awesome.
It was a good way to kick it off,
so I was thinking, oh, man, this is going to be a good pay-per-view.
But it kind of went up and down for me.
But this match, man, this was awesome.
CBS Sports graded it a B.
I would have gave it the name.
But what did you think of this one?
Yeah, I thought it was a great way to start it off.
And a smart way to also start it off for Logan because I think I read that he wanted to go on first
because he had to get to his brother, Jake's fight boxing match with Nate Diaz.
So he jumped on soon as soon as the match was over, jumped on the plane, went straight there,
attended his brothers' fight in his ring gear.
so I thought that was pretty cool
but yeah
everybody did what they needed to do
I am a little
leery on this match
because no
viral moment in my point of view
like they've had other times
they've met and they kept saying viral
moment viral match you know they kept saying viral
like over and over and I was just waiting for the big
spot and we kind of got one
when Logan did
the this like a slingshot
clothesline lariat
to the outside of the ring
that was nice
but we just didn't get that moment
it was still a great match
and Logan in my eyes I think
has kind of proven himself worthy
of being in that ring and ricochet
he's shown to me
and hopefully to
WWE why they need to use him
more yeah I just kind of
wanted to
maybe his fiance
get involved
somehow or maybe the outcome of the
match she refuses
to announce the winner's name
or something
you know something
but it it was it was awesome match
without all that happening
so I like what do you think of
his his Hogan Paul move
with the
the leg
scissor kick or whatever it was
When he did it, I was kind of like, okay, that's, that's kind of different.
And then when they said, he calls it the Hogan Paul.
I did laugh attack.
And then he did the Hulk Hogan poses right after.
Yeah.
Rickettsay even did one of the rocks moves for half of it.
And then he did the standing moonsault.
But I thought it was good.
They both went hard.
They both were flying high.
Yeah.
I was also kind of disappointed there wasn't that
moment of some awesome.
The whole match was awesome.
Don't get me wrong,
but something like they did in the previous matches.
But that one when he flipped up,
when Logan Paul flipped up,
ricochet, it looks like he came down on his knee,
like wrong because he like,
I think he was supposed to do the flip and land on his back.
But he like, in the air he turned.
sideways and just
came down on the knee.
But obviously he was
all right because they kept on going.
The thing that I love the most
about this match is how
every chance Logan Paul got.
He would stare at the camera,
smile, do some stupid
and I even kissed his
girlfriend, I guess, or whoever that was
at one point. I thought that
was funny. Yeah, and I
give it up to him too
because I've seen a part
of his podcast when he had a Seth
Rollins on. And he brought up a real good point that it kind of gets to him a little bit that
people are booing him because when they boo other wrestlers, they're booing that character.
When they're booing him, they're basically booing him.
Yeah.
And I give it up to him because I think he's come a long way.
I think he's better as a heel than a face.
and I yeah his his mic works uh coming around too because when he first came on and he jump on to
mic i just like uh yeah he didn't have it i mean but i mean even if you don't really have the
mic skills i mean there's plenty of wrestlers that don't have the mic skills but when they get
in the ring they do what they got to do so i'm i'm usually cool with it i mean he he's a guy
he's one of those dudes uh when he's got his podcast and everything
thing and he says what he says but i guess when you're in the heat of the moment with something
like this i think it's probably harder for uh stuff to come with you i mean the throughout the
years many many wrestlers i mean there that has been guys that just weren't weren't that good
on the mic i mean but i mean you got the greats man you got uh roddy rowdy you got punk
you got the rock stone cold all of them and even the guys now i mean they i mean i love roman
rains but is he good on the mic it's up and down he's better now because they
yeah had him say less in his case less as far and and they gave him a paul haman so yeah i like that
because i just love when paul haman's going off and either acting as shocked or surprised or
begging to the other wrestlers he's your tribal chief he's your cousin and all he was
That just made me laugh.
He was in tears later.
Later.
But yeah, this match, man, they went super hard.
I mean, I'll give it to any wrestler when they do the flips and the bumps on the edge of, on the outside of the ring on the edge when it's just a steel frame.
Oh, man.
I mean, that'll hurt anybody.
I don't care who you are.
I mean, obviously, I know these guys feel it.
when they're done because they got the adrenaline going.
But once they're like backstage cooling down,
maybe that's when the pain kicks in.
If there's any of you indie wrestlers,
professional wrestlers that are listening to us,
cool right on thank you.
Come on the show and let us know how you feel after a match.
I mean, I've talked to you a couple guys
and they just say, yeah, we don't,
we feel it when we're in the ring,
but we'll feel it more later.
So, but I loved what these guys are doing.
Every chance they got, they would go up high and just crash to the ring or out to that little rubber mat that's on the outside.
And that's got no kind of give.
So, but overall, man, I gave this match a.
I thought it was awesome.
And again, I was mad that we didn't get some kind of huge move moment that happened during this whole thing.
So I was kind of I thought Rickettsay was going to win.
I thought he was going to win.
But he didn't.
Logan Paul ended up pulling out via pinfall.
But it was it was definitely a fight because these guys did.
There was no slow moments during this match.
Even when they're on the outside, just throwing each other around.
I mean, they kept going hard.
And if Rickettet wasn't hurt after this match,
I don't know
Because he looked like it
Other than his knee
And he kept grabbing his side
Same thing with Logan Paul
Both of them
And Logan Paul
He's always getting beat up
After every match
But he puts a hundred and ten percent in it
And he does it
And I enjoyed
He even took a
He had a shiner
Under his eye
But he kept on going
And
Congrats to ricochet
For selling that punch
With the brass knuckles
The way he slumped over
I was like
Did he
Did Logan connect for real?
Who gave it to him?
One of his boys, it was the entourage that he came to the arena with.
One of his lackeys.
Yeah, some nameless guy, Michael Cole was like, I seen that guy earlier today.
Michael Cole, hey man, Corey, man.
Bring back that one dude.
What was that guy that was in the prime bottle?
Oh, Ken.
sir yeah bring him back
that was awesome
I loved every moment of that
when he got involved
and he got fucked up
that was hell awesome
but yeah
all right yeah again awesome awesome match
all right on to the next one
the American nightmare
taking on the beast incarnate
Brock Lesner
it started off
a little slow in the beginning
because you guys know Brock Leznor
he just does his handful of moves
and just
F5
German suplexes throws you around
and Cody he was trying to do
I mean how many times we need to see
this but because
I was kind of like again
but once the match got going
I think at the halfway point to the end
for me was when it was
it was really exciting so I mean
I enjoyed it and at the end
the outcome of the whole thing
and what happened after the match, I thought
that was cool.
What did you think of this one?
Yeah, I agree with you. It started off
slowly. They were
trying to sell this
injury. Cody
who's been fighting through and
Brock's just
ragged hauling him all over the place, beating his
ass and then
you know, Cody's got a fight out of it.
And then he started putting it on Brock
to the point where he
Tor
Brock's
Trunks
Which
Twitter
Kote talking about
how everybody
couldn't stop
looking at it
Instead of
watching a match
When I noticed
them
They were ripped
I was like
Whoa
What's happening in here
I take it
He's not sponsored
By Jimmy Johns
He doesn't have that
All over his shorts
I mean
You guys like
I love Jimmy Johns
Everyone
But
But I thought it was a
nice heart
hit match and they told a great story and I love
the outcome. Brock's showing his appreciation.
Raised his hand. This is it. I'm hearing
they want to keep Brock around until
WrestleMania. I think WrestleMania is in Minnesota.
Or what's coming up?
What's coming up in Minnesota?
It's like a big pay-per-view.
Oh, TLCs usually the beginning of the year.
There's some pay-per-view in Minnesota that they want to keep him around because there's word that he's hanging it out.
And he's from or lives in Minnesota or went to college or something.
So I don't know.
Every time they need somebody to do a surprise entrance after a championship match, it's always Brock because they always back up that money truck.
because they always back up that money truck.
Premium events or whatever they call them now.
Trying to see what's...
Oh, payback.
That's next month on Pittsburgh.
And after that, October is Fast Lane
and November Survivor Series.
So, I know this is one in December, isn't there?
Or is they just doing the holiday live shows that they usually do in December?
Yeah, it seems like the last year or two.
They've been skipping December.
Okay.
Well, we got three more, boys and girls.
Well, other than all the NXT stuff and everything as well.
I don't know if we had mentioned this.
I'm looking at one of the side things.
Rest in peace to I and chic.
Yeah.
But, yeah, man, this one, man, they were going for it,
especially uh,
Cody Rhodes.
He was just selling
everything he had to do.
But,
like when he was getting his ass beat,
but,
all right,
everyone,
we're back.
I don't know.
I'm going to say this on my side.
Like,
I was complaining about it earlier
with the internet.
Because the last,
uh,
East society we did,
it kept stopping on us.
I had to do some editing
to put that thing back together.
But,
surprised they didn't do it
when we did our
three hour insidious
show
I guess you guys
We needed
We needed to talk about insidious
I guess
But yeah
For that thanks
Everyone to listen to that one
Thanks man
That was
That was a long one
I'm gonna do a little
A bonus backup
I did see the red door
And I do want to talk about it
And we'll be three hours
But I just want to
have some things to say about it.
But anyway, but yeah,
Cody Rhodes,
he ended up pulling it out
at the end of this match.
CBS Sports graded it in A.
It didn't start out as an A.
It was a little rough in the beginning,
but once it got going and when it got to the end,
it was a good,
it was a good match.
All right, this one I didn't even know
was going to happen.
The SummerSlam Battle Royal.
I knew who was going to win when he came out and how hyped everybody was when he did come out.
He better won.
If they were to let Omas win, I ought to have been hell of mad.
I mean, I like Omas, but no, because when that four, the Nigerian giant came out, everybody just rushed him.
And he threw out the first few guys.
A little shorty G, he was in there doing it.
I like him or is he Chad Gable now?
Yeah.
And the Viking Raiders and, um, uh, what's, uh, uh, Shody G and notices the, what are they called?
Um, something's, um, someone's yelling it.
Yeah.
Uh, I thought they did a good job when they were both in there.
And dumb ass Austin theory.
I hate him.
I'm glad he got thrown out.
But should.
champ of the future.
Oh, fuck.
Carrying Cross, man.
He was in there
rough and fools up.
Same thing with Bronson Reed.
He was doing the same thing, man.
He was just beating the hell out of each other.
And L.A. night, yeah, man,
he was going off too.
And everybody was hooting and hollering when he came out.
Because I think he was only one of him,
him and no Moss and I.
Maybe there was another one that got an entrance.
And everyone was chair.
everyone else just came out because I was like, all right.
Is he the first one out?
And then they show the ring and everybody's already in the ring.
What did you think of this one?
It was a nice little filler match.
Definitely the right person won because I think,
I think the internet would have blew up if he didn't win,
especially after everybody wanted him to win money in the bank.
And I was a little disappointed on it that it was almost.
entering because I try to post like stuff on in the Facebook group.
And one of the rumors was Randy Orton or Bray Wyatt were going to make their return.
And we got Omas.
No, no disrespect to Omas, but just wasn't a big shock to me seeing him come out.
Yeah, Matt Riddle, a 420, bro.
again, I knew who was going to win
And I was almost I was cool with it
But I did want
Uh
Matt Riddle to go a little bit longer
And you guys all know how much I hate
Dumbass Austin theory
If he would have made it to one of the final two
And I would have been
A hell of mad
I was
Uh
Did you,
Did you watch this live?
No, I didn't know.
I was gone.
I was out of town.
I watched it.
If he would
If he would have won,
I sure would have spoiled this for you.
I would have been sending you awesome dairy stuff.
Oh,
I would have been hell of mad.
I was like,
oh.
But this is going to be,
what's his name?
Pete Dune,
butch,
whatever you guys want to call.
He was in there doing some,
doing some work too,
man.
I thought he was,
I love him.
He's awesome.
But he lasted a while.
but they throw them out eventually.
Same thing with AJ Stiles.
And he was in there,
he was putting in work.
He kind of made it almost,
almost to the end.
The guys that came out that had an entrance other than Omas,
I think those were the ones you knew
were going to kind of last.
But when Omas picked up
Matt Riddle and Pete Dune, man,
and I was like, no,
Oh, not two awesome guys that I like when I ended up throwing them out.
I like how they did the, Chad Gay.
I like how they did the thing that they always have to do.
Like everybody figures out, let's work together and get the big guy out.
Almost choke slammed Chad Gaywell hell hard.
I mean, because he's a small guy.
And he picked him up hell of high.
he just bounced hell hard.
I like Omos when he comes in and just stuff like this and just Rex House.
I mean, when he does the singles matches, it doesn't, he can't do much.
I mean, is he there for his wrestling skills?
No, to my opinion, he's more there just for his size.
But I did like him when he was the backup for AJ Styles.
I did like all that, but eventually we all know.
Oh, speaking of not backup, but Big E, is he done?
Because I know the doctors said he had to stop.
From what I understand, they haven't announced it, but that's what I'm hearing.
Oh, man.
Yeah, I mean, Biggie, I met him once.
He was ill cool.
I, I met all of them.
It was at Comic-Con one year, the whole new day.
But yeah, it took everyone to throw.
out uh,
omas.
Because they had the whole,
how many,
like 10 of them all ganged up and,
and threw them all out.
So I thought that was cool.
I thought he was going to kind of at least not go all the way to the end,
be,
one of the like the,
the final four or whatever before.
But,
um,
like I said,
we all knew who was going to win because they've been hyping them up a lot,
a lot like he should,
he should have won,
uh,
money in the,
was he,
and he was in the money.
the bank match, wasn't he?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, we both said it.
We thought he was going to win, but it didn't turn out that way.
I got a question.
You think they're going to put a title on him?
Because I feel like the company doesn't like when wrestlers get themselves over naturally.
I feel like they don't really push those wrestlers like a member, Rusev.
And the fuck was his name, Matt Cardona, before he was.
Matt Cardona.
What was that?
Yeah, how they got themselves over by themselves and just never really got pushed.
Yeah, I mean, Zach Radder, man, I thought he was awesome.
He was good in the ring, but he, like you said, he got himself over with the crowd.
With everything he did and being the Internet champion and all the stuff that he was doing on the side,
YouTube stuff and everything and all that.
He got hyped up like that.
So I thought it was cool.
I was glad I said this before on one of the shows.
I was happy that I was at WrestleMania when he won the Intercontinental Belt.
Because I was, that was earlier in the, on the card.
But it was still awesome to be there to see it.
Like, all right, it finally gets some kind of recognition.
Then shortly after got let go.
But now he's the king of the Indies wearing his Indiana Jones hat.
he was here I heard
because his wife or a girlfriend or whoever
she's uh she was there
but yeah we're getting down to
I'm watching this everyone as it's going we're getting down to the end
LA night just uh pulled out
and strong armed uh Bronson Reed
and threw him out
right now okay it's
AJ style of Seamus and
LA night still going on in this
Seamus, I mean, he's been around.
I'm glad that he's still around.
I didn't like the dumb haircut he had after he did that Turtles movie, but.
It was a lot better than when he had the,
the beaded braids in his beard.
No, I didn't like any of that.
I did like it when he was with, what's his name, though?
He was, before the brawling brutes, who was he with?
Oh, Cesarro?
Yeah.
The bar?
I like to.
Yeah.
Yeah, I liked all that.
I thought that was cool.
Bring back Cesaro.
But anyway, yeah, carrying, oh, I forgot carrying crosses there.
He just got tossed out.
So now it's Seamus in L.A. night.
So, but when it came down to the final two, I was like, all right.
Give me a good show because I already know who won.
And the L.A. night.
Yeah.
The crowd was hyped for him.
When he came out and then when he got to the final, the final two,
Oh man everybody was on their feet
Waiting and they were ready
So I thought that was really cool
That really got me
Juiced up
If Seamus would have been all right with it
But I was like nah
He LA nights got to win
Don't let him get this far
Just to get beat
Not to say
Shamis is a job or anything
But nah just
Shamish has been there a while
He's had his belts
And he's had his moments and everything
It's L.A. night's time
Yeah, he's, Seamus is not a jobber.
He's more like a, what's the term, gatekeeper?
Like, he's a good, good test for those coming up.
I mean, but he puts him to work, man.
He still does what he has to do.
And I still like him.
And I have to say, as much as I like L.A. night and everything that's going on with him,
his music's so stupid and generic.
Yeah, he just, all right, he just,
uh, clotheslined, uh,
Seamus out of the ring.
And the place went wild.
All right.
I was watching stuff on, uh,
whatever,
Twitter,
whatever you want to call it now.
There's a guy,
there's a gentleman in the front row
with a green shirt.
I know that Leonard guy,
I don't know if he was there.
I haven't seen him in the past few,
uh,
pay-per-views.
There's,
there's certain,
fans in the
WWE universe that
are at every pay-per-view.
So, I mean,
I don't know. There was something going on
on X about that.
It was nothing bad, but it was,
I don't know, they were saying this guy is always
at everything. And I guess he always
wears the same green shirt.
I never, I just don't,
I didn't notice him until this one. So I don't know.
I guess now I've got to keep an eye out.
Well, I know there was a guy.
I swear,
more than two or three wrestlers like stop in front of them and posed or something like this guy in the the aisle of the entranceway that he was like holding up different signs and they kept stopping like the one that picks uh comes out in my mind is uh when um drew mcintyre like stopped and like stood in front of them and they both were all like yeah and i just
just noticed everybody kept stopping and like high-fiving him.
So I was wondering if he,
maybe he's, I don't know, friends with somebody.
There was, is it the guy that when Cody Rhodes walked out,
he stopped and signed something,
his sign or whatever?
Okay, that one, all right, yeah.
Yeah, I don't know who that is.
I mean, you guys know, let us know.
But I was happy with this one.
CBS Sports gave it a B.
No, this was an A.
I thought it was good.
Good fun.
All right.
Go ahead.
It was good fun.
Yeah.
And I liked that it went by really fast.
It didn't like take forever to get to the end.
Because it was like fools who were getting thrown out left and right.
And then next thing you know it was over with.
All right, everyone.
This next one.
MMA rules.
Oh, my gosh.
The baddest woman on the.
planet. Rowdy Ron
the Rousey against the Queen
of Spades.
Shana Bazler, my girl.
I hated both of their face
makeup. I just
didn't like it. I'm sorry.
It was kind of distracting
for me.
CBS Sports gave this one a B.
What?
I'm sorry. A C. My bad.
My bad. I was looking at
Bazler. I would have gave
this one more like a D minus.
It was borderline F for me, but I like the outcome.
That's why I'm okay with it.
But what was the point of this?
Was this supposed to be Rhonda's last hurrah before she stays home?
I'd give this match a F.
And if this is Rhonda's last match in WWE,
they did not give a fuck about her at all.
This match was stupid.
The crowd was dead through this entire match.
And people are interested to see an MMA fighters wrestle in WWE, not fight MMA fight, because they know it's not going to, it's not the real deal.
Yeah.
And it made no sense.
The outcome, I knew who was going to win, but just, just, there was just nothing.
to it. It was Shana. They grappled a bit, kind of throwing each other around. Rhonda did her arm bar thing over and over, but Shana has been her friend and training partner so long that she knew how to get out of it. And then Rhonda gets choked out, unconscious, and then somehow wakes up instantly when the match is over. And then they,
There's just there's no
nothing between them
it's like they
Shane just leaves and
Rhonda's just sitting there looking sad
and that that's the last
we see of Rhonda
maybe maybe you should leave
WWE because that's not the way
to send you out.
The buildup for this was more exciting
than the actual match.
Yeah. I mean I love
Shane and she ain't the greatest on the mic
but it was at least
entertaining. Yeah, the whole
video, video,
what do you call vignettes?
Those were good. Shana was
busting out
tears talking about, you know, Ronda's
daughter is my goddaughter and she's going to grow
up hating me for what I'm going to
do to her mom.
I'm like a lot of that stuff was good stuff,
but this match was, it was
pointless.
This is whoever wrote this
article on CBSports.com.
I'm not going to read the whole thing.
This is just the last
paragraph. MMA style
matches are very hard to pull off and is
especially visible as someone who regularly
covers combat sports.
This match was a mixed bag.
Rousie and
Bazelor seemed willing to lay
in
their shots which made moves
like the head kick really pop.
The format was also
changed from the typical
W.W.E. Formula. Unfortunately, there were
a lot of disappointed scrambles.
The medical intervention
was a head scratcher
that should have been resulted in a stoppage
victory.
Yeah.
They both, they both did
leave this with some
with some bumps and bruises.
Shane had a black eye.
Rhonda was pretty
roughed up as well.
But when they were
punching each other,
you can clearly see.
If you've seen both of these
these women
in the octagon fighting,
I mean, yeah, they're in their fighting and they're really, really punching them, giving it their all.
This one, it just looked.
I didn't mind the grappling.
I thought that was cool.
But when they were punching each other, it just did not look.
You didn't like the, uh, ah, ah, ah, uh, or whatever Rhonda was doing, throw punches.
Uh-uh.
I just, I didn't like the whole punch.
They should have just grappled and threw each other around and just added in the, the wrestling element if they could.
The only thing that looked good was when Shane it through the head kick.
Yeah.
That was the only thing.
I mean, the grappling was good, but just like you said, the punches, they were all weak.
And they clearly were not trying to hurt each other with those.
And I'm glad that whoever wrote that article pointed that out because technically, if the doctors come in, like the way they did, that's the stoppage.
Or Rhonda's the winner.
I don't know
I mean they they took the hard
bumps like you said
and Ronda did leave her
Shane did leave with
you could see something
happened under her eye
but the next day is when we saw
the bruise and the swelling
and everything
and Shane is always in there
with her black mouth piece
which I love
but she got mad
and threw it at her
so but
I don't know
even the leg kicks and everything
they were they were just
weak.
I mean,
I hate Rhonda trying to sell them.
Just having to step away real quick because it hurt.
Yeah.
It's like they just barely kicking.
I mean,
when they were swinging at each other,
at least that was a little harder.
But yeah,
yeah,
Shane just did that head kick.
It was kind of hell of slow.
Ron,
it could easily gotten out of the way
if this was,
this was a real fight, but
anyway, you do what you got to do.
I just, the crowd felt it.
You could hear them.
You heard one guy clearly.
He was like boring.
And then they're boring.
This is boring.
And all that started.
And the crowd, like nobody was into it.
You could just see everyone getting up to go get a drink or whatever or go to the
bathroom while these two women were in there giving it.
They're all.
There's the Leonard guy.
He wasn't.
in the front row
it was like in the second
anyway
but yeah this match
I mean I love both of them
Rhonda is she's badass
I wouldn't want to fight it
I wouldn't want to fight Shana either
but it just
I don't know who green lit this match
and said it was gonna be all right
because it just was
it was not good
oh I think that's when
this is a Summer Slamm match
yeah
oh that's when Shana
took it to the
she had that um
she's
set up ronda perfectly put that leg out so she can run up and jump and step on it and just boom
need shana right in the face right under her her left eye she took that that kick and i think that's what
gave her the black eye shana looked like she was going to cry at one point towards the head but um
dollars for donuts i think ronick would beat the shit out of shana basil in real life what do you think
Yeah, she, Rhonda, the track record speaks for itself.
I mean, Shana was doing it way before Rhonda was, but she did not have the career that Rhonda had.
And I think the record reflects that.
And I think what would be better is maybe you can do the storyline because WWE is not an MMA company that they can't sanction an MMA match.
So they put the head gear on.
Because I know they've gone hard sparring each other
harder than they did in this match.
Maybe that way you can get a better outcome.
I don't know.
I hated this entire tank.
She didn't look like she got the worst of it
because the ref kept running up to her every few minutes.
You're all right, you're all right?
You can clearly see that she was hurt.
she shook it off and
kept the party going.
Rhonda was taking those bumps too,
but not as hard as Shana.
She was really getting
beat up. But
yeah, she ended up pulling it out in the end, which
was kind of weak. Yeah, all right, here's the same one.
All the, I assume these guys are the medics
that are jumping in.
And then Rhonda goes off and throws both of them
out of the ring.
That's going to cost her some money.
Yeah.
I was waiting for her to throw the ref out of the way.
Because I think this was more of, well, storyline wise.
It was more of just they just wanted to fight each other.
And just threw her mouthpiece at her.
Come on.
And then they started with a weak-ass punches.
In my point of view, when she threw them the med team down,
Rhonda should have just went full heel and just destroyed Shana.
Yeah.
And then Shana somehow pulls out of like a sneaky submission move at the very last second it wins.
Rhonda just kept trying to get Shana in that arm bar,
but Shana knew how to, air quote, counter it.
At one point, I thought she tapped.
Rhonda, but it didn't turn out, man.
She was she was doing it all.
Rhonda was selling it, but it just looked bad.
Yeah, I don't know what was happening here.
It was kind of a mess.
In the end, Rhonda tapped out to Shana.
She got her in the, was it the Carefoot Club?
Yeah.
What's his name's fault?
I heard Bobby Rude is a producer now.
Maybe I know SummerSlam was his first thing being one of the producers.
Maybe he green lit this match.
Yeah.
But I mean, I did like the outcome.
I mean, don't get me wrong.
I love Rhonda, but I like Shana a little bit more.
But yeah, because Shana, she pretty much just tapped her out, submitted her.
Well, she didn't get, she didn't tap out.
She passed out.
And then the ref jumped in and stopped it.
But yeah, she like came to hella quick.
And Shana, like, hey, she was beat up.
I didn't really look into her socials and everything to see how beat up she was.
But she can, well, she was hard taking some pain trying to raise that left arm.
So, but, but the move of the match is when Shana kicked Rhonda in the head.
And when Rhonda needs Shana in the front.
face, which was clearly right on the money because you guys saw Shane out with that black
guy.
I like how they do the, okay, now live from some other part of the world.
You see all these WWE fans just hooting and hollering in some bar.
I don't know the time difference.
I think that that was cool.
I like to go to Germany right after this.
Yeah.
And they were, I don't know if they were that.
excited for the outcome of the match.
I think they were just more excited to be on TV.
They probably said,
all right,
we're going to turn the camera on act hyped.
And they were.
So,
but all right,
this next match,
this is the one I was kind of looking forward to,
but I don't know.
CBS Sports graded an A minus.
I don't know,
more maybe just a regular B,
but this is the,
uh,
give it an A.
This ain't a continental championship match, Gunther taking on Drew McIntyre.
I don't know.
I mean, to me, the buildup was more, was more exciting than what was happening.
I wanted Drew McIntyre to win, but I assume they're just going to let Gunther hold on to that.
You got to break that Hunky Tonk record.
Stop trying to break all my, all my legends records.
just just just give us good shows man i'm old everyone i was there for the for the honky tongue
man and all those guys but i didn't really care for this match i was kind of back and forth on
my phone uh they yeah they give it an a minus and i mean my grade would have been a b but i don't
know what'd you think i gave it an a this was a nice hard-hitting match i was brew before the the
the ring general
working for him to pull it out
and yeah
this guy shows
that he's he's in there
to be a star I mean this guy
was doing chops power bombs
splashes off the top rope
and him
then Drew was giving it right back
you know he was giving him the
what's that head buddy got the Glasgow kiss
giving them all chops back and
I just thought it was a good heart
It was it was kind of like a
almost like a part two of their
WrestleMania match
You know minus Seamus
Just kind of an extension of that match
And yeah
Hockey Tongue's record can fall
It's it's time
Uh huh
Yeah
Gunther ended up pulling this one out via pinfall
But I did like man the way McIntyre
Was giving in them chops man
Gunther's chest was all starting to get all red and raw.
So, but what's her name look good though?
Ajah Smith.
Is that her name?
Uh, you're a young black referee.
Oh.
Yeah, you know, I can't remember referee's days.
I want to say it's like Ajara.
I think you're AJ.
Smith, I know that.
Uh, yeah, she looks good.
But, yeah, I mean, again, yeah, this match, for me, it was just, eh, it was all right.
But they did go hard.
I'm not saying they didn't.
They did go hell of hard.
So, but I was just like, eh, I would have probably liked it more.
I think I'm just more mad that Drew McIntyre didn't win because I wanted him to win.
I want another belt on him.
I was happy when he was a champ.
I was happy that he came back, totally revamped and hell ripped.
and they at least pushed him more.
I liked the 3MB.
I don't care what anyone says.
It was goofy, it was stupid, but I still liked it.
All right.
Yeah, they gave it an A-minus.
All right, this next one.
I was there for it.
I was ready, but I was kind of disappointed until people got involved at the end.
but this is for the World Heavyweight Championship Masses.
This is the Monday Night Messiah,
Seth Frickin Rollins, taking on Finn Baller.
I still see Seth Rollins as a heel.
Finn Ballard, he's the heel in this
because of Judgment Day and all this shenanigans he's got going on.
I see the judgment day coming to an end pretty soon.
And I hate that.
I agree with you that I think it's coming to an end soon
And I hate that because I like them now
Yeah
I liked them more when Edge was involved
But once they turned on them
But we all see where this is going
It's going to be Finn Baller and Damien Priest
Battling it out
Send your money in the bank
Yeah I have a feeling that he's going to cash it in
And win at some point
Then Finn Baller is going to turn on him
and then at some point
we're going to get
maybe WrestleMania or whatever
we'll get a match between those two
I don't know we'll see but yeah
keep his judgment day going for a long time
but yeah like I said I mean the match
it was good they got CBS Sports gave it an A minus
I can agree with that
but I just wanted a little bit more
and once
Damien Priest came walking out and Dominic and Mommy were there
I didn't get fuck it was the only time we got to Z mommy
but that was good enough for me.
That's when it got really exciting
on what was going on in this.
But it was going back and forth
and them pinning each other.
Yeah, I was all right once
everyone came out and it was getting exciting.
But yeah, it was just the beginning of it.
We've seen this match before.
I mean, going back to the Battle Royal,
all that talent that was in the ring,
and you just push the same guys over and over again,
I'm just like, come on, man.
Let somebody else shine.
How are you going to know they're going to be awesome
if you're not going to give them the opportunity
to go for something big?
I don't know.
I'm not in charge of any of this.
I'm just a fat guy on a microphone,
giving you my opinion on what I saw.
but but I'm not saying this match was bad.
It was a good match.
Both of them.
Seth Mowlands and Finn Ballard go hard.
And we all know that.
But yeah, once Damien Preece came walking out, everybody went nuts.
And then here came Mommy and, uh, dirty dumb.
Dirty dumb.
Oh, yeah, dirty dumb.
I mean, ride that out, kid, man.
That's all I could tell you.
You write it out to the end.
We know at some point
they're going to break up.
And then he's probably just going to go haywire
and start beating that,
beating the hell out of more of the main guys on the roster.
I don't know.
We get crazy down then.
Crazy heartbroken down.
Yeah, he's going to be heartbroken and mad.
But yeah, when David,
Damien Peace was the first one to come out,
and then he was hooting and hollering,
and here came Mommy and Dirty Dom,
the NXT champion and the woman's champion.
Oh, man,
really,
really,
really really looked so high when she was walking around.
I had all the little event things that were going on before this,
that cowboy hat she was wearing.
I was like,
oh.
See that video and then posted as a little boy,
he was pushing Dom out the picture?
Yeah.
I liked how Damien Priest kept trying to give him the briefcase
to knock Seth Rolins out with it,
but he just wouldn't take it.
I mean,
because that's what I mean,
we know where this is going to go between Damien Priest and Finn Baller.
And we know they're going to battle in the end.
That's how everybody does this team.
So I don't know.
But yeah,
but when it came to the distraction,
Ria Ripley was getting involved.
she jumped up on to the
on to the side
and she nailed
Seth with the with the title belt
and even Dirty Dom got involved
in all this
but he was bringing it to him
because he he kicked Dom
and then curve stomped him on the outside
oh man I was like I love that move
it's brutal but I love it
because yeah with the distractions
And Seth jumped back in and
Finn Baller gave him the sling blade
And then he was throwing around
Then jumped up and did the coup de gras.
I thought that was it.
I mean, all right, that move.
Because Finn Baller jumps up hell of high.
And you could clearly see he bends his knees
And there's not that much force.
But, I mean, even still, I mean, that's to me,
my opinion, that's amazing.
Now you can jump that high and come down,
but still lift your legs and not land on them as hard.
Because they could land on the chest and everything.
But I thought that was it.
Seth, he kicked out.
So I was like, all right, cool.
But Finn was still, he was still going off.
He was trying to get it going.
Damien Prez, he got involved.
He jumped up on the apron.
He was dealing with the ref.
he threw in the money in the bank
and then he went to the other side of the ring
that's when he was arguing with the ref
and Finn Baller was crawling over
to the briefcase but then Seth Rones
came running over and curbs stomped them right onto the case
and knocked him out and then it was one two
three and that was it
the crowd was there for Seth Rounds
because they were hyped
but the look on Damien's priest after he lost
That was hilarious
he's just like this fucking guy
he's gonna battle
Seth Rowland at some point
if he doesn't battle him I have a feeling that he's
he's going after that belt
he's going after the heavyweight champ belt
I want him to win and cash it in and get it
I don't want I don't want him to cash it in and waste it
I mean there's been some winners where I'm like
they have wasted it and I'm like
Yeah, I'd rather have them wasted than see the belt on them.
But I like Damien Priest.
I'm hoping that he cashes it in and wins and gets that belt.
If it's not Seth Rons and go after, I ain't going after the tribal chief.
But I don't know.
I just want him to get a belt.
It'd be awesome to see him once he came up.
I would love to see the whole judgment day just have belts.
I don't know.
We'll see.
Who knows?
Maybe Seth and Finn Ballard would go at it again.
And if Finn Baller ended up winning,
and then that's when Damien Preece comes running in and cashes it in.
But I don't know.
But you're getting those looks because right now I'm watching it.
Damien Preeze is looking at Finn Baller,
and he's just shaking his head.
And Finn is not liking what he's seen.
Yeah, it continued on Raw.
The judgment day came out to confront Seth.
and uh somebody else uh forgot who it was and uh fin fin did his own thing and they were kind
of like all like what's the deal you're doing you're making up your own plans but you know
mommy was there to calm everybody down to calm anyone down yeah they get out an a minus
i can agree with it all right on to the women's the w
W.E women's championship match.
The Empress of Tomorrow,
Oscar, taking on the EST,
Bianca Belair, taking on
the Queen, Charlotte Flair.
CBS Sports gave this match a B.
Nah, I ought to give it an A,
because this match was tough.
I always say this.
I always say it every episode.
The women go hard,
and damn right, they went hella hard.
I didn't like the blonded ponytail
that,
Oscar, not Oscar.
Bianca had, I don't know, I don't know. I didn't, I didn't like the, the, the, the blonde hair.
Also, there are other sponsors, the, uh, C4 energy. Oh, they were really going for it.
Is this, is this the one where I think it was Bianca when she came out, posed?
Yeah, she had one.
I was like, stop it.
And there's Jessica with her fine self. She's in the ring.
going to
riff this match
I
all right
I mean I like these big stadium
pay-per-views
but I hate the long-ass
curved walk
that they have to do
it just seems like
it just takes forever
so but
I was happy with
the way it ended
we had two winners
of this match
I mean I love Charlotte
don't get me wrong
I mean she's awesome
and she's in shape
you follow her on Instagram
you see how ripped she is all wherever there's a muscle it's ripped but um i was kind of a little
disappointed i mean i like bianca bellar but i was a little disappointed when she she won when she
ended up winning this match but then something else happened but before we get into that those are you
the david seen this or you everyone has you guys already know but uh what did you think of this one
I thought it was a good match.
I really did.
I did not want to see Charlotte win for the 40th time or whatever.
I mean, time she's won.
Bianca, I'm kind of getting a little tired of her.
I did.
I forgot who had the briefcase.
We'll get to that at the second.
Yeah, I did too.
And for a second there, I was just like,
Charlotte's going to fucking pull this out.
And then the injury angle came in with
Bianca, and then it popped in my head.
I was like, oh, shit, I see how this might play out.
And when it played out that way, I was about,
I was almost jumping out my seat because when Bianca pinned and won
and then that music came on, I was like, yes.
And I was hoping somebody didn't end.
interfere, but she actually ended up helping.
It was the best outcome that there could have been.
Yeah. I was happy with this match. I knew it was going to be a good match because these three go hard.
So I was, I was ready for it. I was there for it.
But yeah, for a second, though, I thought they were going to put the bell back on Charlotte.
I'm all right when she, I don't know when she's a champ.
is she the greatest on the mic?
No, but she does talk shit
and I like it.
But I was like, don't do Oscar.
Well, they did Oscar dirty anyway.
Didn't she like win this like last week
and they're already taking it away from her?
Yeah, she lost
she lost a Bianca at WrestleMania
than won like a couple weeks later.
Like,
should have just gave it to her at WrestleMania.
But yeah,
I thought Charlotte was going to pull it out
when she put that figure eight on
a Bianca's injured leg
Yeah, and Aska came in with the blue mist
Right in Charlotte's face
Unfortunate camera angle
Because you could clearly see
Charlotte close her eyes and close her mouth
Yeah
It'd be better just to see it from
Oscar's point
Well, we can just see Oscar's face
Yeah
And then maybe the side of the back of Charlotte's head
But yeah, you can clearly
She knew it was coming
She was ready
because she shut her mouth and everything.
But even still, man, that's nasty.
I mean,
spitting something out of your mouth into someone's face.
It's better than getting a stink face.
Yeah, that too, but I ain't the one.
But, yeah, Bianca pinned Oscar.
And she was the, Bianca was the champ again for a minute or two.
because that's when
damage playing his music,
the alarm went off.
As soon as that happened,
that's when I remembered
that Eos guy had the briefcase.
Because when that alarm went off,
I went,
I was excited and here she came.
So I was like,
ooh.
I was a little worried, though,
because she came out sprinting,
and then she stopped and gave the briefcase
to Bailey.
And for a second there,
I thought Bailey was going to
hit her with the briefcase.
Yeah.
But that one move that was,
I was going to say that one pulled it out like a champ and
started hitting everybody with the briefcase.
Yeah.
That one move when Bianca Bellar came off the top and did that 540 splash and
while Charlotte was doing the figure eight on Oscar.
So you guys know that move.
Charlotte's,
uh,
on her basically on backwards on her hands and feet.
and everything and bionca bell out of nowhere and bernca bell out of nowhere and landed
right on top of charlotte they timed out perfectly yeah and it looked beautiful it didn't look
sloppy or anything and then once she pinned her um she uh charlotte kicked out i thought that was
it i was like oh my god this is it but no charlotte said no you ain't going out
out that way.
She kicked out of it.
But I was shocked.
This is one of those matches.
I was like,
holy shit.
So I thought it was really cool.
But they were beating the hell at each other,
especially Bianca and Charlotte.
Because they were just throwing blows back and forth.
And then Charlotte started with the chops.
But when Bianca pulled Charlotte up,
what was she going to give her?
What's her move when she does that?
somebody's yelling.
I can't remember.
But she got really close to the edge
and ended up kicking
Bianca.
What's her name?
Oscar off the ring.
But when Charlotte got that
Bianca back into the figure eight
and she was slapping her
before she got it into the post,
I thought that was funny.
But Bianca was just still screaming.
And then Oscar came in
and shot the miss.
in Charlotte's face, so she just laid there screaming.
Oscar tried to kick, head kick, Bianca Bel Air, but she moved.
And while Bianca was still locked up in the figure eight,
she got Oscar, flipped her over and pinned her,
and she was Bianca Bel Air won the WBE's women championship match.
I like that Charlotte still had to figure eight on her.
trying to get the best out of her eye.
Bianca's like screaming, like, get her off me.
Yeah, it was, it was funny.
It looked like Bianca got hurt because she was,
she was stumbling around.
Her knee got pretty roughed up.
Because she didn't just get right up.
It took her a minute.
Because when she got up, she fell back over again.
But when she fell over,
maybe it was just part of the show.
The alarm hit.
and here came Eoskeye and Bailey
were running in top speed
and yeah like you said she gave
Bailey the briefcase she slammed it
against Charlotte then she
slammed it against Oskia
Bailey jumped into the ring
Bianca Bealear came running at her
and Bianca
or Bailey got the briefcase
knocked out of her hand and she rolled out of the ring
Eo jumped in the ring,
hit the back of Bianca's bad
leg, she turned around
and then Eio Sky hit her
with the briefcase. She fell down
and then she turns it in.
Jessica was standing right there. She handed it to her.
Eos still screaming, waiting for the bell
to go off. And once it got,
went off. She jumped up to the top road
and did that lion's stall and boom.
One, two, three.
I like before she went to the top rope,
she she walked on Bianca.
That lines are the moonsault.
Same move.
Yeah, as soon as she got the pin
and she won, she was
high and I was fine with it.
Again, if Charlotte would have won,
I'd still been all right with it.
But Eos, Eos, Sky, Eos Shirai,
whatever you want to call her.
She deserved this.
They let her win the money in the
which was awesome and she cashed it in.
God damn Bailey's fine.
I see that happening.
Dakota Kai, she got hurt,
but it was cool that
she came. She was able to jump in
and help with the celebration
because a year ago was when
damage, damage plan.
Where do they go?
Damage control. What?
Damage control.
Yeah, damage control. Once they started,
I thought it was cool.
again, I think I said this last episode
Maybe the one before Bailey can't be your face no more
She needs to be healed from here on out
And I love it
I didn't love it in the beginning
But I love it now
Bailey if you're listening
I love you she's the base champ
And she's my champ
But I was happy with this outcome
They gave it a B plus hell no
This was an A plus
Because it was a good turnout
And it was an awesome match
Between these three
These three women that were in there kicking ass
and Bianca Belair, I was happy that she won for a minute.
But then, and all hell broke with that money at the bank briefcase.
I was, I like when the, it's usually the guys,
when they keep the briefcase and beat the hell out of each other
and it's all dented up before they cash it in.
Now, he was, hers was still fresh, no dents or anything.
Maybe a few scratches in it, but nah.
Yeah, overall, this match was awesome.
All right.
On to the main event.
The Tribal Chief, this match went on forever.
Yeah, I did.
This is the WWD, WWE Undisputed Universal Championship match.
Uh, tribal combat match.
Okay.
Uh, the tribal chief, the one Roman Raines taken on, uh, main event,
Jay Uso
My opinion
It started out slow
But once
The guys got involved at the end
At the end
I thought it was awesome
When they got out and they were fighting each other
In the crowd
I thought that was really cool
I liked all that
But what did you think of this one
I agree
It started off slow
But once it picked up
When they started
You know
adding weapons, chairs, tables.
People started getting involved
because we all knew solo was going to get involved in some way.
And I thought it was, it was a decent match.
But I think, like you said, it went on a little too long
and it kind of took me out of it.
And then when we got a surprise at the end,
it wasn't really a surprise.
I mean, who he was there for was kind of a surprise, but.
Yeah.
I don't know.
Just him with the hoodie and the bandana on.
I was like, oh, that's such and such.
I don't know why they're doing the mystery.
Yeah.
But yeah, I thought it was fine.
The one who was entertaining me the most was probably Paul Heyman.
Because like he said, he was like, oh, he's your tribal.
He's your family.
you guys live together
and then you hear Michael Cole
or I think it was Corey Graves
he's like Paul Hayman's in tears right now
my favorite
move in this match
when they were just going at it
Jay had set up a table
on the outside
and then it took a while for them
to use it
but when he finally did he
Simone dropped
Roman rains onto that table
and they both went crashing through it.
Not the,
they did it the long way.
And it's still broke,
but I thought that was awesome.
They looked like Jay,
he took a lot of that too,
especially Roman.
His neck was all crazy when they hit.
But I thought that was awesome.
They ended up pulling out two tables
in this one, so I was good with it.
But I,
have a feeling we're going to see this match again.
I don't want to see it again.
If we see it again, make it better than this one.
And the beginning was slow.
Can we get some tribal elders there?
Can we get at least Rikishi?
I thought he was going to be there.
That's what they were high.
They were, I heard so many rumors that, well, I know the, the Wild Samoans,
Afa and
I forget the other one
I think they're kind of too old to
make the trip because I notice a lot of
when they're doing interviews and stuff it looks like
a lot of that's at their house
yeah and then there was a big
rumor the Rock was there
and I thought I saw his mom there
but I don't think that was her
she might have been there
yeah she usually had all these especially
these are nephews or grandsons
or whoever yeah
but I just
Rikishi needed to be there
he should have been
even if he gets involved
I would have been cool with it
and he keeps teasing that he's going to
get involved at some point
but hasn't happened
yeah he was supposed to be I think originally
you remember when they did that tribal
tribal court
yeah he was supposed to be there
but I think
some kind of scheduling or something
happened.
I think
if he does come back, I think he'll come
back when Jay and Jimmy go at it
for whatever reason.
Super kicks Jay,
man of had Jay.
But yeah, I mean, what's
that I mean? He, but Roman Raines power bombed
um,
Jay or, is it Jay?
Yeah, Jay, power bombed him onto the chairs
because at one point,
uh,
Jay was just threw in.
a bunch of chairs into the ring
and I really didn't do anything
and speaking of chairs everyone
this video that was going
on in Alabama
shout out to everyone
that added their own
commentary as special effects
I knew there was going to be one with
wrestling and hearing
JR
that one was funny
and shout out to crime faces
I was waiting for that one
the most
and they did it.
But that dude that was giving those fools the chair shots
and even got one in on that lady, man.
I was like, damn.
Oh, man.
Everyone's going nuts over that video.
Check it out if you haven't seen it.
But, yeah, the second table that was introduced,
Jay put it in the corner, or was I think Roman put it in the corner.
And that didn't come into play until later on
because right, I'm watching it right now.
Jay and Roman are just
exchanging punches
Jay's on the outside of the ropes
hanging on and Roman is just
punching and punching them
and Jay is slowly holding on
Paul Heyman in the background
just going off
looking all stupid
Roman tries to run
and I guess tried to spare Jay
off the apron
but now he jumps up and kicks
Roman in the head
and then Romans kind of
stumbled over. This is when he picks up, Jay picks up Roman and does a
Simone drop and they go crashing into the table. I thought it was
awesome. We knew where it was going soon as I love how Roman just jumps up into
Jay's arms because they're both tired, man. Don't get me wrong. I understand that.
But that was cool though. I was glad that they did something awesome like that and to see
Roman gets slammed through that table
but yeah
it kept going on but this part
I don't care who you are
even if they do pull it
Jay broke out
that leather strap
and just started letting Roman
have it
I'd say
at least a few feet of it
was dangling and I'm
surprised that maybe the
welts came later
but Roman he don't wear no shirt
be different if he had that vest on still
but jay was whooping that ass he was hitting him hell hard
and this is when show mercy
this is when it goes out into the crowd
there was one dude just tried to get a selfie
where roman just pushed him out of the way
you can see the guys in the suits that follow them
to try to keep everybody off
I like when they go out into the crowd
so when they go out in the crowd man you just
you know they're going to go somewhere
where it's all set up and everything
because where they went was
I think it was by the
photographer's stage
all the other photographers
are just people with cell phones now these guys
had those expensive cameras
and they kind of went at it
for it and then there was
this random table
just sat right in the walkway
with a couple
things set up on it
looks like nobody's using
like these cables and some papers
and something else but before that was brought into play
here came solo he came running in with the Simone Spike
and just bring it into bringing it onto his brother
he's the youngest one right? Yeah
all right
he walks over to the table solo and starts throwing
everything off I don't know why these random cables and papers
are right there but okay
he brings his brother over to him,
picked him up,
and slams him onto the table.
Solo's a big guy.
Yeah,
they call that the spinning solo.
They don't want to call it the rock bottom.
Yeah,
I was it,
this is rock bottom.
What are you talking about?
Spinning solo.
But yeah,
he threw his brother to the table.
I don't know where Roman was.
I think he kind of is.
Oh, he's laying right there.
Yeah, he's kind of catching his breath for a minute.
I like this part because when Solo starts dragging Jay
Jay's pushing his feet
Yeah
To keep it going
And I don't know how far they went out of the ring
But I was like the way he was pulling Jay
It was going to take forever
Yeah
To get back in the ring
Solo just decides to pick you up
He picks up his brother
And carries him
Back to the ring
because I was like,
damn, you're going to drag
him the whole way?
Probably like a half a mile.
So,
once they get back over there,
they just kind of throw Jay back in.
And Roman's screaming at
Solo to do stuff,
but he starts bringing it to his brother,
gives him another rock bottom
while Roman is out on the outskirts of the ring.
But then he climbs back in.
And Solo's,
I don't know. It's hard to make him out.
I mean, he's always looking crazy and everything.
Who knows? Maybe he's like the nicest guy in the world.
Roman is standing there kind of rocking back and forth telling Solo what to do.
Basically told him to give him the Simone Spike.
I don't know how hard that tape is wrapped around the stunt,
but I think it would still break if you would do that to someone.
He learned from Ubaga.
All right.
All right, really quick.
The crowd has been booing the shit out of Roman Reigns, this whole match.
Because he kept looking at the crowd, like giving him like the what looks and all this.
And he even started yelling back at the crowd.
Solo picks up his brother.
He's about to give him the Simone's bike.
And Roman Raines runs.
And Jay kind of snaps out of it.
his brother over
and Romans, he springs off the
rope and bah spears
solo.
Oh, this was my initial question.
I'm tired of everyone.
When Roman does that thing before he does
his superpowers his spear,
when he throws his hand backs and goes
ooh ah!
Again, the whole crowd
was booing the shit out of him.
But when he does that,
you can clearly hear that it
is a pre-recorded track, which is fine.
But I was counting, man, don't even do that no more if everybody hates you.
You can still do it, but don't add the extra.
I don't know if everybody hates him, though, because when he did the
acknowledge me thing before the match started, there was a whole bunch of people
holding up one finger.
My finger was up.
I'm still for me.
He's still my tribal chief.
I don't like this ref, man.
He looks like some big, he's darker than me, all buff.
I think he was trying to, he was a wrestler and just, you can't cut it in the ring.
You want to be a ref?
He probably went, all right.
But after Robin Speard solo, he gets up all slow looking at him, like, what did I do?
And then we see Paul Heyman with his mouth wide opens with the same expression.
Like, oh shit, you just did that?
Jay kind of comes to run and pins.
Spears, Roman rains.
I thought that was it when he
Spirred him right there, but now he
Roman kicked out of it.
So
Jay
picks up two chairs
and just goes to
work. Slamms his
brother, walks over to Roman
and gives him
a chair shot.
He's standing there tall. He didn't really
hit him with it. He kind of
started stabbing him with it.
And then he does hit
him with the chair
and he kind of goes down.
Everybody's hooting and hollering.
Jay's still trying to get
back in order.
But then when he
steps out of the ring to hit
Roman with the chair, here comes solo,
running with a super kick.
And Pink gets Jay.
I see this
solo turning
against Roman.
Because Roman is laying there
on the ground, on the outskirts of the ring
holding his hand up like,
help me.
and Solo was just staring at him.
He just got speared by Roman a few minutes ago.
He's like, what's his name?
From 3 o'clock high, buddy Revelle.
He doesn't like to be touched.
They were standing there.
Just Roman trying to tame solo.
And he's not paying attention.
And here comes Jay out of nowhere.
It just,
and bah!
Spears Roman Rans right into the
the little barrier part
by the ring guy
or the bell guy.
Oh, the one that always seems to break.
Yeah.
He jumped out of the way, right?
He got up hella quick when he saw
Jacob running.
So yeah, he spears him into the wall,
knocks it down. Solo still standing there.
And then he puts it into work.
He goes up and pulls up Jay
and then it starts whooping his ass.
on the right in front of the announced table and dumbass Corey Graves and his sky blue suit.
I hate him everybody.
I'm sorry.
But Solo picks up his brother Jay and it looks like he was about to rock bottom him on the announce table.
Yeah.
He super kicks him.
Jay super kicks solo and his solo just, he did not.
this good at all. He's acting like he's all days, swinging his head and looking all over the place,
and then he calmly lays himself down on the announce table. But I like this. Once he's laying
there and he's ready, Jay kind of runs over to the side. He jumps up onto the wall, the barrier
that's right behind the announce table. And I'm sure he's tired as hell. He had to reach for one of the
fans to help him
stand up on that wall
and then he runs and it just does
a splash right on top of his brother
and crashes through the table.
Jay
walks over the Roman, picks him up
and throws him back in the ring.
Jay bounces off the rope. Spear!
He gets Roman and he goes
down. And then he's
about to pin him, but
somebody
comes running into the ring.
Oh no, no, no. Before the pen,
He climbs up to the top rope and does a splash, a frog splash on him.
Then he pins Roman and then somebody grabs Jay and pulls him out of the rank.
We know what it was.
Yeah, a mystery person.
Yeah, he had a black hoodie on and a black bandana over his face.
He pulls the hoodie off.
He's got the braids and has a black handkerchief over his mouth.
and then he just starts staring at his brother
and Jay is just like looking at him like
what what the fuck did you just do
but Jay is also just standing there
and Paul Hamer's standing there just saying this shit
but Jay picks up
or Jimmy picks up Jay
super kicks him
and then picks him up and then throws him into the ring
and he kind of walks away
Roman Raines kind of comes to
Jay is still all dazed
and then Roman jumps up
and runs
and spears
Jay right into
the table that they had in the corner
and then he pulls them
off to the side
one two three and that
is it. Yeah I'm interested
to see how they play this out because
it kind of looked like Roman
was confused of why
Jimmy was out there.
Yeah because Jimmy was just looking at
So I don't know.
Jay was the one that was always
like not really sure.
Should we do this?
Should we be following my cousin?
But because I knew that at some point,
Roman and Jay were going to go at it.
And this is what we got.
Yeah.
I think with the Jimmy and Jay thing,
I think it's because
is J is now main event Jay.
It's not the Uso's.
It's not main event Jimmy.
It's main event Jay.
I think that's what the angle is going to be.
All right.
Him trying to be tribal chief and the champion and all this stuff.
I think Jimmy's going to,
I think that's how they're going to play.
Jimmy's going to be like, well, what about me?
We'll see.
But this was a tribal combat.
match it just seemed like a match with no no rules yeah because they broke out the
candos sticks and the other strap and the tables and the chairs
hardcore match yeah basically that's what it is but I don't see anything tribal
they did with it but okay CBS sports they gave it a B plus okay I'm with that
because like we said the beginning kind of drug for a minute and then
and it got exciting.
That is it, everyone,
for SummerSlam,
2023.
What was your favorite match?
Oh,
because of the finish,
I would have to say
the triple threat
for the women's title,
just to see EO
come in and cash in.
Yeah, at first mine was the very first match
of Logan Paul and a ricochet.
And then this match happened.
And yeah, this one was my favorite match.
Because they went hard as hell and beat the hell out of each other.
And it was an awesome ending.
