Starting point is 00:00:09 Regings victims, for those of you who delight and dread, who fantasize about fear, who glorify gore, welcome. You have found the place where the horror returns. Listeners beware. This podcast contains major plot spoilers. and the foulest of language. Join us in celebrating the old and the new, the best, and the worst in horror. Welcome back, everybody, to the horror returns.
Starting point is 00:01:04 I'm Lance, and tonight's co-hosts, we got Pedro. We got Philip, and we got, of course, Brian. What's going on, guys? What's up? You're the stranger. in this house nowadays. Yeah. You're hardly ever around, man.
Starting point is 00:01:20 So I'm glad you're back in action. It's good to be back, man. It's good to be back. Good. I feel like because you're the guest on this show now, you should go first on the cool of the week. I'll happily do that if that's over. Okay.
Starting point is 00:01:34 Do we want to go cool of the week now? Well, yeah. Because I'm primed and ready. Yeah, let's go. Yeah, I think we do cool the week and then we do the movie, right? That's the kind of what we do. Yeah. Let me get mine out of the way because I had a lot of fun with this movie.
Starting point is 00:01:50 And this is another one that you guys saw that I did. And I think Brian and Nez reviewed this one. But it goes by a different name, Lee Kronin's something. But it's what I like to refer to as Lee Kronin's The Evil Dead Egypt. Because this is a fucking Evil Dead movie through and through. There's so many fucking Easter eggs. There's more than they even talk about. Like you got the old school tape recorder.
Starting point is 00:02:16 that was in the first fucking evil dead movie. And if I recall correctly, wasn't that where they, I think that the tape that Ashen them found, wasn't it actually like some guy that was in Egypt that uncovered a tomb or something like that, that found the next to me. We're going to find the next year,
Starting point is 00:02:38 because I think that might be the story they're going to tell for that new one coming out next year. But you know what? I think the mummy gets so much hate. I enjoyed it. And it was just, once you get over the fact that it's an evil dead movie and they do just enough not to get sued, like, just go along for the ride. You know, it's a fun time. It's gory.
Starting point is 00:02:58 The Tom Cruise one? Huh? The Tom Cruise one? No, no, no, no. Oh, right. Okay, that makes more sense. All right. Not the Tom Cruise one.
Starting point is 00:03:09 Oh, that was not too bad either when you, I've seen it a couple times. I don't know about that. But, yeah. But agree to disagree. But this one I had fun with, the mummy, the Lee Cronin, the mummy, you know, Evil Dead 2.2.0, whatever you want to call it. There's all kinds of nicknames for it nowadays. But yeah, I thought the third act was just, it goes bad shit crazy, which I love in my movies. You know, there's all kinds of shit going on.
Starting point is 00:03:35 And it also got a little hard to it. It's like a family drama in a lot of ways, you know. Yeah, I could see that. And so, yeah, no, I love. liked it, but I understand. I completely understand why people really hated this movie because it just wasn't, it didn't promise what the title said it was going to be, you know? I guess. Yeah, it wasn't like an old school mummy story, right? But what the fuck could you do with the mummy? Like, what could you do with the mummy fracking around with bandages all on you?
Starting point is 00:04:02 You're limited. You know, the Brenda Fraser one, they took a lot of liberties with, you know? It's true. It's just, yeah, you're very limited when you get the mummies and do something with this, you know? Well, I'm going to turn into... It can be like an alien mummy. Yeah. Only Philip would think of that, Brian. Don't get on my idea. After disclosure day, he's still a little upset.
Starting point is 00:04:22 He's ready for some action after that snooze fest, huh? Yeah, but no, that's my cool of the week. I really enjoyed the mummy. I like the gore. I liked all the action scenes, and I fucking love evil kids. There's nothing more fun than evil kids. So, uh, mummy is my cool of the week. Uh, well, I'll jump in.
Starting point is 00:04:41 I've got, I went on a Netflix rampage and watched the, it's a documentary. It's called Maternal Instinct. Okay. I saw this. I saw this. Yeah, man. It's, it's nuts. That one, like, I thought it was going to be sort of stupid at the beginning of it.
Starting point is 00:05:05 And then by the time I got, like, just watch the trailer and then the first scene of the movie. and you're going to go, all right, I got to figure out what happened. Yeah, because by the end of it, it's like, holy shit. And it's real life stuff. It's real life stuff. Yeah, real life stuff. Okay. And then I watched the one with Reacher in it where he's an army rager,
Starting point is 00:05:30 and they're fighting some robot thing, some alien robot. Oh, yeah. What is that called? It wasn't great. What was that one called? Brian. Oh, that's how a war machine. War machine.
Starting point is 00:05:40 Yeah, he's all right. Getting a sequel. Oh, yeah? I enjoyed that movie. Where do they go from there, though? But okay. Well, no, do you remember how it ends? They have a way to go from there?
Starting point is 00:05:53 Do they? They got a good jumping off point for a sequel, you think? Danz, have you seen it? Yeah, I have seen it. Oh, okay. A lot of action. A lot of not great CGI, but, you know. So essentially the movie itself plays as one part of,
Starting point is 00:06:10 what's really happening all over the world. And then at the end of the movie, you find out that it's actually an invasion worldwide. And then everybody, like the army's ready to go take on them because they kind of found the weak spot because of the reacher guy. He kind of showed them what to do. And they go off and they go fight. So the secret could pick up from there. You know, it could be the aliens to the alien.
Starting point is 00:06:29 You could have Ice Cube on a computer, the whole movie. Let's hope so. Let's hope so. Samuel Jackson getting killed by a shark. We probably will, Brian. We probably will. The world's part two, huh? Presented by Amazon. Right.
Starting point is 00:06:47 But, no, I like War Machine quite a bit. I think for all the trash that we get, the straight to the streaming movies that we get, I thought War Machine is in the upper tier. I thought, I haven't thought it would have been a good theatrical. Like, if they would have taken a risk and put that in the theaters, it would have been a good time. Oh, and I also did follow up on Steve's recommendation, and I checked out caught stealing. which definitely should have been a theatrical release with the amount of talent they had in that movie. No, it was a theatrical.
Starting point is 00:07:18 I think it was. Yeah. Man, I saw it in the theater. I couldn't remember this one or two weeks. For anything. But it was fun. It's a good one.
Starting point is 00:07:27 I liked it. Very Guy Ritchie-esque. Who's the director of that movie? Zora Kravitz. No, she's hot in that movie, though, but she's not a director. Yes, she is. No, really? No, she's not.
Starting point is 00:07:43 I don't think she's that established shit. Oh, is there in Aronovsky? I knew it was one of these. Oh, yeah, Aronovsky. She's one of these artsy farcey directors. She directed something. She did direct something. Link twice?
Starting point is 00:07:56 Yeah, she directed Blink twice, which was another awesome movie. But yeah, not bad. I liked it. Yeah, Darrenovsky directed, and then all of the people that were actually in the movie, freaking Liv Schreiber and, uh. Oh, yeah. Yeah, this gets stole the show. What's his name?
Starting point is 00:08:12 Yeah, the guy that plays the kingpin in, their devil. Yeah. Vincent Donofrio. Full metal genetic, yeah. They were great. Absolutely, yeah. Yeah, they were playing like the Hebrew guys. The Jewish mafia.
Starting point is 00:08:31 That's right. That's right. Yeah, I know that I saw that one in the movie theater. It was fun. It was a good time. And that's what I got this week. All right. So which one, man?
Starting point is 00:08:43 Maternal instinct or war machine? Maternal instinct is pretty fucking good. Pretty badass. I'll put you down for that. That one, that one, that one caught me and reeled me in and like left me emotional at the end. What a crazy bitch. You know what I always fascinates me about these stories? You know, you have this one.
Starting point is 00:09:04 I like the two. I like that. I thought it was a very fascinating and grossing documentary. But remember that one. one about what's it called the the invader, the foreigner, the one about the guy from Paris that said that he
Starting point is 00:09:17 says that he was a missing kid and the parents just took him in. I think I heard about that. Oh. Yeah. Yeah. I remember the story. And it turns it got pretty well, it's been out a long time, so I'm going to say what happens. Okay. So, so
Starting point is 00:09:33 what happens is that yeah, he comes out. He's a French guy. And he says that he was a missing kid from this American couple and they believe him, quote unquote, even though he's like five years older and he looks nothing like him and he has a fucking accent. But then what you realize in the middle of the movie, I don't know if you guys remember this twist,
Starting point is 00:09:53 was that there's enough evidence to say that the parents and the family actually killed the real kid that disappeared. So they had to play along too. And it was like a game of cat and mouse. But my question with these fucking movies is how the fuck is, How do these schemes go on so long? You know, how the fuck, like this one girl at Maternal Instinct, this is a newer movie, so I'm not going to say a lot. But she does a lot of shit where you're wondering, this is where you get caught.
Starting point is 00:10:21 And she just never would get fucking caught. And I'm like, how do people allow that shit, you know? But I guess you get caught up in the world and the fantasy or whatever. People want to believe the best in you. Like, the shittiest people can get away with murder because people want to. to believe them and they want to trust people. I think people are genuinely good on the inside, for the most part.
Starting point is 00:10:45 With the exception of the few evil ones that just take advantage of people. And they play on that dynamic, Pedro. I don't mean to objectify that woman, but her weight fluctuated all kinds of ways in like two years that she was in her life. Because they kept on showing pictures of her. And I'm like,
Starting point is 00:11:03 hey, she's all right, look, he's pretty hot. And then the other pictures are like, hey, you put a little weight. you know but but um and it was only like a couple years maybe even not even that i think it was like 15 months or some shit that she was in these people's lives and just her looks would just change so drastically and i'm like oh shit but well and then they showed some old pictures of her and she was a lot larger in high school that's right it looks like she lost some weight and that's probably where a lot of her issues came from as just like insecurities yeah no i think i think this girl had like something from birth.
Starting point is 00:11:37 People like that are pure evil. People that are pure evil. They don't develop. They don't learn that shit, you know. Yeah. The people that lie about everything even when they don't need to. Right. Just everything out of their mouth is a lie. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:53 For no fucking reason. Like I went to the goddamn grocery store today. And like, why? Why would you tell me that if that's not what you did? That's a weird thing to lie about. Yeah, I think we've all met people like that. That's weird.
Starting point is 00:12:08 Like, it's like, there's no benefit from this lie. You just like to lie. But yeah, good movie. People should check it out. And in a lot of ways, it's real horror. So it, you know, it kind of vibes with our podcast here. But yeah. So anyways, I caught, I caught up on some television because I've had some times.
Starting point is 00:12:29 And I caught up on a TV show called Task. Did you guys ever see this one on HBO with Mark Ruffalo? Oh, yeah. Uh-uh. I think I tried to start episode one and it was like, I don't feel like doing this. It was that one guy, Tom Palfrey, the one that was in Banshee, he was the Nazi in Banshee. And he was, he was in Ozark. He was the brother.
Starting point is 00:12:53 I know exactly who you're talking about. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, he's a good character actor. He pops up on these shows from time and time. Yeah, he, so essentially it's about Margaret. And it's very cliche. It's very by the numbers tropey.
Starting point is 00:13:06 Okay. Mark Ruffel is a tired, beat up FBI detective or agent or whatever. Grizzled, grizzled veteran. The grisles vet. Yeah, we love those guys. So then, so he's kind of, he's having a conflict with his, with his beliefs. He used to be a priest and very, very by the numbers, generic, you know, what is a good guy, as you could say. And then on the other side of that, you have that one guy, Tom Palfrey or whatever.
Starting point is 00:13:33 he's he's been robbing a lot of like drug dealers so in the first couple of episodes you know Mark Ruffalo gets tasked there's the name of the show right they're the task to set up a task force to catch these guys because they've been robbing other drug dealers and they're afraid that they're going to start a big drug war right so so so that kind of you know it reeled me in it's a very interesting concept a tropey and then and yeah it's um something you see very often but still it still caught me and so I really enjoyed it. It's about it's seven episodes which is weird because they're usually
Starting point is 00:14:08 like six or eight or ten seven is such a weird number for a season it does lose its way in the middle there because it starts introducing a lot of other characters and then you start getting to know them and and and it gets very Rube Goldbergy towards the end where this happens at least
Starting point is 00:14:24 to that you know but but it it wasn't bad you know so that was my cool of the week I I've been to seven episodes in two days task. You know, you know, Mark Ruffalo has, he knows how to play like, like, rugged old veteran very well. Like, he's got that time, like that permanent tired look, you know? He knows how to pull that off.
Starting point is 00:14:44 Well. It seemed like he's just perpetually tired. Like, that's, that's, you know. And he walks with that hump all the time. Like, no matter what he's doing, he's always got that little hump. Yeah. So, so he was perfectly cast for this part. Okay.
Starting point is 00:14:59 Yeah. So, I don't know, it was, it was a good time. So if people want someone to watch, check out task. It went under the radar a little bit. But yeah, so that's Michael of the week. You could have him and Dane DeHan as a detective duo. They never saw a single mystery. I'm taking naps.
Starting point is 00:15:22 I'm continuing my horror documentary into search of darkness. I'm on the second part in 1995 through 19. 1999. Okay. And that made me start going through some of the movies that they've been talking about on there. So far, I've watched Leatherface, Texas Chancel Mascar 3, tremors, and Nightbreed. And were all these first time watches for you? No.
Starting point is 00:15:54 I've grown up with these movies. I was like, I was like, okay. All right. Because they do have some hidden James, like, very like, very, like. deep cuts that's well. I breed's fun. I haven't seen that one in a minute. And I think
Starting point is 00:16:07 I don't, because I don't really go on letterbox that much, but I think I'm going to make a tier list and start ranking these 90s movies as I watch them. So if anybody follows me on letterbox, I'm going to be doing that here soon. Cool. So does it go all the way
Starting point is 00:16:23 through Blair Witch then, Brian, toward the end? That foreign ass movie. Okay. Well, the new one, you get excited for the new one. No, I'm not there yet. It's a six-hour documentary. I'm like on the starting the second hour. Gotcha. So that's pretty much all I got this week. Late 90s.
Starting point is 00:16:50 I ain't watched nothing new. All right. I'll put you down for that. All right. Well, so we're skipping because we're doing a commentary. we're going to skip horror headlines and trailer park, unfortunately. But Philip, you want to jump in, man? We still got to do a podcast spotlight, right? Yeah. Well, we do have some listener feedback. We'll go with the podcast spotlight this week.
Starting point is 00:17:14 Shines on Blonde Believers, a faith-oriented show hosted by Crystal and Kristen. Crystal and Kristen, sorry. The host center each episode on discussions around spiritual. personal testimonies and even paranormal topics like haunted or cursed items. That could be fun. I like it. I don't know. A spiritual show, huh?
Starting point is 00:17:41 Is that what they said? Oh, faith-based. Faith-based. Because I had a completely different thought that came up when it said faith-based. I thought it was going to be like a Jim Jones show or something like that, you know. All right. And we got a new email from our pal, Jay Black. All right.
Starting point is 00:18:03 Says, Brexit. England leaves the European Union. Donald Trump has voted president. The Summer Olympics are in Brazil. Rogue One, a Star Wars story, comes out. And Philip, too, but that's a story for another time. Hey, that was just for that one time. It happened.
Starting point is 00:18:25 Deadpool Mania dominates the world. Batman versus Superman. Wait, nobody cares about that. No. The Conjuring 2 comes out. Probably the best of the series. Don't argue with me, Brian. Definitely is the best of the series,
Starting point is 00:18:40 I would say. The train to Busan railroads all of other zombie movies. That was that long ago? And they still haven't done the American version, am they? Well, was it a road to Manhattan or something like that? It was going to be called.
Starting point is 00:18:56 I think Will Smith was a attached to that for a while. Oh, God. Then the Oscars happened, and they were like, well, we can't put him in anything. Well, no, that was, yeah, it's been a minute. 2016 to now, like, shit. Wow. I mean, they made a sequel peninsula, which was all right.
Starting point is 00:19:11 I mean, it's nothing like training to Busan, but actually nothing like it. It's a complete different movie, but they never made the American version. You're right. And that was hyped for a long time. And Lance turned 75 years old. That's right. Right. And what pray you ask, does
Starting point is 00:19:32 all of this mean? Well, these are all things that mean nothing in comparison to what else came out in 2016. And yes, boys and girls, I'm talking about the horror return. You some bitches have been entertaining and educating us for the last 10 years, and this
Starting point is 00:19:48 world is a better place for it. Whether it's Philip always spelling everybody's name correctly, quick, who's the guy in Blood Diamond, and Guardians of the galaxy. Leo? Oh no.
Starting point is 00:20:03 Damon. Damon's hunch. Yeah. Amen. Damon. He's not only in just all. He's literally in everything. If you look at that way.
Starting point is 00:20:14 To Lance's uncontrollable laughter when he gets on a roll. To Brian's silky smooth voice. Dude can just read from the encyclopedia and I'll listen. That's my next podcast. Nice.
Starting point is 00:20:27 Nice. To Neza's hella, hella, hella good ten on tens. Oh, boy. To Pedro's deeply thought, thought out, intellectual take on any subject that makes me say, damn, I wish I thought of that. The horror returns has been a place to go to learn, learn, laugh, and just have a great time hanging out with the guys and guys. Congratulations, gentlemen, well deserved.

Starting point is 00:22:44 All right On to our featured attraction We're doing a new maximum overdrive I got a question for Lanz I got a question for Lans What was 10 years ago Okay Yeah
Starting point is 00:22:57 10 years ago. What was the first two movies? And I know you know this. I know you know this. You have to. Okay. That you guys reviewed on this show. The darkness and poltergeist.
Starting point is 00:23:09 Oh, that was it. Yeah. Okay. One was like a one on 10 and the other one was like a nine on 10, I think, right? The original poltergeist? No. The original. The OG.
Starting point is 00:23:20 Yeah. Oh, wow. Okay. Yeah, the one with the real skeletons floating in the pool. The darkness. Because I remember Kevin Beckins in that movie One of the worst movies Oh, bad
Starting point is 00:23:32 No, that was Robert De Niro, right? The darkness? No, this is Kevin Bacon, man. He did a bunch of those horrible ones. The Tooth Fairy 800 movies named the darkness. That's true. That's true.
Starting point is 00:23:49 Dark waters or darkness falls. Devil in the darker. Yeah. Oh, the close. All right. Well, All right. Maximum Overdrive.
Starting point is 00:24:01 A group of people try to survive when machines start to come alive and become homicidal. Okay. Director and writer is Stephen King, known for a whole lot of cocaine when he did this movie. You'll understand. When asked why he hasn't directed a movie since this one, Stephen King responded, just watch Maximum Overdrive. You got a sense of year. that you guys ever see the interview Emilio Estabez did when he talks
Starting point is 00:24:30 about how Stephen King called him to apologize. Oh, really? Yeah. Apologized for making it be in this movie? Yeah. Well, just for the whole movie in general. I heard that he doesn't remember
Starting point is 00:24:49 making this one, so. Probably not. All right. Let me see if I can share my screen and we'll hop on to it and see. share. And we'll do a countdown for everybody who's going to sync up their copy
Starting point is 00:25:07 to watch along with us. All right, we're going to share the sound. And we'll share Screen One, sure. It's just kind of hoping for the best here, holding our breaths as usual. Just take me to that scene where the kid gets rocked
Starting point is 00:25:33 with those Coke cans from the Coke machine. That's what I'm waiting for. All right, we can all see? Yes. Yeah. Check it out. All right. I'm at three seconds because that's where it stopped.
Starting point is 00:25:46 Three seconds, all right. All right. In three, two, one, go. What company is this anyway? It looks like Skydance, but it wouldn't be this. Dino de Laurentis. Ah. Lionsgate, okay.
Starting point is 00:26:04 Lionsgate, okay. Yeah, Ness would really like the opening theme of ACD. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. No doubt. How about that. But then he would also say, not a horror movie. Oh, for sure.
Starting point is 00:26:25 Well, it's really not, right? No, it's like a fun adventure movie, I would say. You guys read the short story that it's based on trucks? No, but they remade it in 1997. That was closer. It's a little darker. It was closer to the story. It was a made-for-TV movie on the USA Network.
Starting point is 00:26:47 Ah, okay. I was going to say I'll have to check that out, but you lost me at made-for-TV, but I'll still watch it, I guess. Well, a lot of his adaptations were made for TV. That is true. That is true. A film by Stephen King. That's something you've only seen one time, okay?
Starting point is 00:27:03 Right, never again, huh? And he had the god of criticize the great Stanley Kubrick for the Shining. Oh, that's right. That's right. Well, I mean, in fairness, that was his original book, right? So I guess he can say more than we can. All right, how are we doing on sound? Sounds good.
Starting point is 00:27:27 You can hear it? Yeah. Okay. We're missing the... Oh, the strength roll. All right. The secret of the ooze right there with the earth being surrounded by... I can't hear anything.
Starting point is 00:27:43 Secret of the ooze. He decides to... Look at where he decides... Is Wilmington, North Carolina? Why is the movie said in Wilmington, North Carolina? Strange choice, right? Because it was 79 degrees. Fuck you.
Starting point is 00:28:00 Fuck you. already see how coked out he was. Is that him right here? Yeah, it is. Yeah. You are an asshole. Honey! Come on over here, sugar. It's meteor shit.
Starting point is 00:28:15 It looks like Hunter S. Thompson a little bit there. They don't use, nobody just little glasses anymore. The ones that you flip up? Oh, I haven't seen those in a while. I think because knowledge is actually changed colors. Right. Can you hear it, Philip? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:31 All right. Can you guys hear? Yeah. I think because of the music, but we'll see when they start. But I will say that I believe ACDC made this song for this movie, correct? I think so. I believe so, yeah. I do believe I remember hearing you.
Starting point is 00:28:52 There's Bernie Smith. Mr. Simpson. Yep. Who has one of the most annoying species of this movie, by the way. Curtis. All these non-electical cars. That's right. It would be easy to take them over now.
Starting point is 00:29:26 Oh, yeah, that's true, man. That's true. It might actually happen. Is that what happens at every airport, Pedro? I guess so. We should ask Nes that one, right? Control switch. A big old red button.
Starting point is 00:29:44 Oh, here we go. The physics makes no sense, right? What's the comet? The comet green goose is making all that shit happen. Okay. Okay. This is music by ACPC and I think they only contributed one song. Now I think they had... They just played over and over? Well we'll find out. I can't... We won't find out. What if the gear's gonna start going backwards now or something?
Starting point is 00:30:23 Written for the screen. And right. Oh, it's a bridge. I've always had a fear of this happening to me in real life. I know. Yeah. I never trusted this fucking bridge. I bet you've also had the fear of like a lumber truck, right?
Starting point is 00:30:56 With all the... Of course. Final destination. Oh shit. Shut the water, bones. Whoops. Why did dump him into the water? No, he fell off the bike.
Starting point is 00:31:10 He fell off, man. Yeah, but if he slipped down, how did he end up in the water? And why did this guy park right? right where it opens and not move the truck. Oh, he's trying to, okay. No, but he needed to get off. He's going 70 miles an hour. What a cheap, the axle gave on after
Starting point is 00:31:33 70 miles an hour. What a cheap as truck. Oh boy. That was their expensive stump. What the AC. That's right. They're probably in there. Does L.
Starting point is 00:32:01 Oh, shit. Nothing about it. Nothing about this whole scene makes any sense. Not only that, there's like zero gore. Well, watermelon door. I think we're supposed to believe that the machines have already taken over, so the cars are driving themselves. Yeah, I think so. Yeah, but I still don't understand how you slide down the bridge and end up in the water.
Starting point is 00:32:34 He found the way to do it. It's cocaine. Like I'm looking at the bridge. I don't think that works. works. There goes the green god. How do they get away with this? They have the green goblin.
Starting point is 00:32:50 Oh, yeah. Classic. I forget about that guy. Without paying for a royal teas or whatever. There's a guy that still owns that, you know, and he tours around with it.
Starting point is 00:33:04 This is Willem DeFoe right here. His face is on the truck. That's right. Willem Defoe. I'm trying to get away with toys of us by just kind of happy toys. Is that what it was? It has the same local.
Starting point is 00:33:16 Might as well be Toys R Us. Ronnie the giraffe. Gas World. Jeffrey. Man, Willa. Lundefo is one of the best villains Marvel has ever had. You think so?
Starting point is 00:33:32 I think so. They should bring him back, right? He should have been Dr. D. That was Sony, wasn't it? I mean, they did bring him back. What are you talking about? Well, he should be Dr. D. You hated that movie.
Starting point is 00:33:40 Remember, Lance? You hated that move when they brought him back. Oh, that's right. Okay. I wouldn't say hate, that's a strong word. That time you hate it, what are you talking about? Okay. Gotta get some coffee, right?
Starting point is 00:33:56 The black dude, he chose up in a lot of things. Right? Diesel 108 a gallon, look at that. That's the most science fiction thing like you see in five dollars right now. That's, uh, it's down to like four now. What's his name, Pedro from Banshee, the bar owner? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, Banshee, there you go. Okay.
Starting point is 00:34:17 His name's sugar sugar yeah He shows up in a lot of little TV things Yeah, he like I like these little diners whenever I'm on the road I like to hell yeah those little town the diners that everybody where everybody knows your name I love the right that I don't give a lady bug this guy is funny God damn Uh oh Gene Carlo Esposito
Starting point is 00:34:56 Oh yeah, that's right Here we go, this is when she's gonna hit a montage now Yo mom Gus Fring Look up Oh remember those The cigarette machines Oh yeah
Starting point is 00:35:14 You gotta go to Japan if you want to get one of those now You're spitting out cigarettes and money That's not bad Damn that that you like your slat-lottles saying that's the real fantasy those those gas prices man I remember gas being like 89 cents gallon in high school yeah yeah for a little while there but no nobody has it as bad as we do in California I'll tell that right now we're at like six
Starting point is 00:35:56 bucks right now there comes the music oh this seems like a bad idea to begin with I don't know what you thought was gonna happen there does it really hurt that bad I mean Come on. No. It was an asset that hit him in the eyes. It's just some diesel. I've been doused and gas many times. It doesn't hurt that bad.
Starting point is 00:36:26 I was a fueler in the armies. That's right. We have a big deal. Let me get this straight now. Now, you want me to work for nine hours. There always has to be the crooked mare from like Jaws. Every movie has to have one of those guys now. Because this guy's it in this movie.
Starting point is 00:36:51 Not this kid. Me, don't you? You ain't that obtuse, are you? On parole, boy. Either your ass belongs to me and belongs to state of North Carolina. That stars, man, a good job. I know.
Starting point is 00:37:07 They gave him a gold star. Because he's on parole. Put that back to rack for me on your way by, would you? You tell Emilio's cool, because his hair is slick back and he has an earring. But only in the left here. Because the right one is gay. I think Wanda June should be running the grill.
Starting point is 00:37:36 There's all kinds of, like, health violations on that grill right now. Maybe not, maybe not so much. That year, right? You know, I'm gonna, you know, the thing about the Emilio character, the thing about the Emilio character is that he's meant to be cool, right? He's a cool guy of the movie, the young guy that's stuck in a dead end town. We've seen that before, right? But you guys are going to see later on.
Starting point is 00:37:59 Stephen King finds a way to make that character fucking boring announcement. Really? Yeah, I mean, you'll see, you'll see later on. Yeah, but Pedro, he sure makes love like, in he row. Make it slut bleeding. How's he going to do that? What was that piece of spam on the floor? I sure stop bleeding awful fast.
Starting point is 00:38:28 It was Dr. Giggles. Dr. Giggles. Was that him? Yeah. So do they set up the rules here? Like, even, do we know what kind of machinery? Is it every kind of machinery? Like, whether it's battery operated or...
Starting point is 00:38:48 That's what I'm wondering. It's any kind of machinery, but not all machinery. That makes sense. That explains it. Thanks, man. Look at this Gus Fring. Even the video games, sir. This is how he started his drawing.
Starting point is 00:39:03 Drug Empire, I'm breaking bad. He just sold out of cigarettes. Guess free. That's right. Is that him? Yeah, I'd forgotten about that. Oh, wow. He sold all his cigarettes, and then the money got from that machine to start his empire.
Starting point is 00:39:18 Right. Well, he's barely recognizable. Now, how is this going to work, right? Explain the physics of that. Come on. Bocaine. We've seen those colors on his face. to do with a comet or evil machines we see the electrical panels on his body
Starting point is 00:39:44 he got his pocket stuff 40 pounds and nickels like 40 bucks that's right he really connected electricity then right his hatchet it's exploded coins oh here we go this my here we go there we go there's your scene coming up Oh, this Coke machine one? Yep. All the Lille's not those bastards. Yes. I think Stephen King's kid is here.
Starting point is 00:40:24 Well, he's not a kid anymore. Yeah, I heard something about that. The other author, what's his name? Joe Hill? Joe Hill, yeah. Well, he has two sons that are authors, doesn't he? But I think Joe Hill's the one that kind of like hit it big. Yeah, the one that was like just like him.
Starting point is 00:40:41 Owen King is the other one. Ha! Oh, man, that one hurt. Who doesn't love a good joke like that, right? It's always funny to see somebody get piqued in the balls. Boom. Oh, come on. How's that physics working?
Starting point is 00:41:04 Come on. That kid got hit in the ass and died. Right. Oh, man. Oh. Hey, they should remake this movie with the electric cars. Boom. At least he's got his equipment.
Starting point is 00:41:22 In a way. All the other little kids are done for. Right. It's like killing people, but he has a kid. Here comes a scene I always remember from my childhood. The steamroller. Oh, yeah. Great scene.
Starting point is 00:41:43 Did you guys see the Confederate flags on the scarboard? Yeah, there's a woman in Carolina. Yeah, that was part of the state flag. Is this Lisa Simpson? Yeah. Oh, no. There's a shit little characters in this movie and none of them do jack shit for the entire movie. This is the sleazy Bible salesman.
Starting point is 00:42:29 Reverend Wonderful. With the fedora. Right? Like the Cyclops from the... Cyclops from O Brother were art. Yeah. How long you can keep your hands to yourself? Hmm?
Starting point is 00:42:44 What did you say, Philip? Oh, brother, we're out there? Yeah, the Bible salesman. Ah, okay. Are they gonna drive up on the clan now or what? No. But he was the, like the cyclops from, God, god damn, what's that story?
Starting point is 00:43:07 The Odyssey? Odyssey, yeah. That's what our brother are at that way is. Is it really? Yeah. I'd never heard that before. So this guy picked her up as a hitchhiker and then he was trying to fuck her. Looks like it, yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:24 I mean, that was what it was, Pedro, if they said gas, grass, or ass? Look, look, look, look. Uh-oh. Those hubcaps went flying off. Preoccupied. Preoccupied. So. He got his bibles with him.
Starting point is 00:44:20 She said eat my shorts. We need to bring those back. Nobody uses that anymore. I know. Eat my shorts. Keep on truck is another one. Oh, that's right. Keep on truck.
Starting point is 00:44:40 The fabulous furry freak brothers. Green goblin. Oh, there he goes. And that truck becomes a de facto leader of all the other trucks that. Oh, yeah, that's right. Because it has a face, you think? Or why do you think they made that decision? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:45:16 It looks cool, I guess, for the time. Because it's awesome. Oh, and an evil clown on the back, too. Ha! That's some dirty-ass gas. No shit. Boy, blinds people evidently. Didn't you see it earlier?
Starting point is 00:45:32 It was like, whoa. Oh, oh. Look at all these fucking people that he booked for this movie. I know. That's already a problem. And there's more, here comes Lisa Simpson. And there's more coming. This is Lisa Simpson.
Starting point is 00:45:56 Okay. You know, that guy knows everybody in Hollywood. He's been a part of the club for a long time. Even back in 86, you think, Phil? Oh, yeah. There's about a year before she got, she hit that lottery ticket with the Simpsons. That's, oh, okay. So it's right before that thing.
Starting point is 00:46:19 87-ish, yeah. Okay. This is 86. 87 was when the Simpsons shorts premiered. Okay. Doesn't she do Bart too? No, that's another girl. A different lady.
Starting point is 00:46:30 The whole family is just, yeah, they're all individuals. All the side characters is like two dudes. Yeah. Yeah. Hankis, Hankis area and Harry Scherer. Didn't they, Pedro, didn't they start on the Tracy Ollman show? Yeah. Yeah, in 87, and then they debuted it for their actual show on 88.
Starting point is 00:46:55 And that was like when the Fox Network literally just started, I think. Yeah, they were giving the okay to everyone. Married with children and living cucker. Yes, that's right. Herman's head? You remember Herman's head? All these weird shows. At least it's being careful.
Starting point is 00:47:25 Yeah, a little bit respectful. Yeah, well, don't step on the dead body and leave evidence. Hello? So everybody always runs up to the murder victim and grabs them. Oh, yeah. Trying to wake them up or whatever. You are fucked. A lot of life.
Starting point is 00:47:57 Man, the physics in this world, I swear. Oh, boy. It's Toa Mater. Toa mater. Take a shot every time she says Curtis. You know if that reminds me up right now, Brian? Early. She has a weird looking one.
Starting point is 00:48:43 Kind of, yeah. She has a very unique face. Let's just put it that way. What does it? Why does a truck just give up? What is their motivation? Do they ever say? Are they trying to take over the world?
Starting point is 00:49:06 Are they never really say? I'm just trying to cause havoc. Yeah. I can't remember. Yeah, because they killed themselves in some, you know, it's like, I don't know. Like Harry-Kerry style or whatever. Yeah. I know there's that one scene where they're making them all pump the gasoline,
Starting point is 00:49:25 but like what's the purpose, right? Right. I don't know. Are they trying to get somewhere? Are they just trying to take over the world? Kind of weird. I guess you don't want to overthink that one. No, I need to overthink.
Starting point is 00:49:39 I need answers for this shit. This is fucking stupid. There it is, ACDC. Same song. Okay, so far, so far you, one for one, bedroom. I haven't heard any other ACDC songs. Oh, no, this is another thing coming, isn't it? No, I think it was Who Made Who?
Starting point is 00:50:17 Is it, okay. But see, it's, these machines, it just gives enough to have a movie, because all that would happen was them to launch the nuclear codes and the movie's over, like. I guess. There's atomic weapons. But then they're all gone too, right? The trucks don't get blown up too, right?
Starting point is 00:50:41 And there's no more roads left to drive them on. But they've been doing that anyway. Like that little sawknife, whatever, and you knew it was going to die the moment it attacked that girl's fan. Like, I don't know, man. They stomped them out. You guys are putting more thought into it than Stephen King did. I know.
Starting point is 00:50:56 That's the problem. Yeah, the machines come alive. Like a pinball machine. That shocks guest frames. a minute. How does that? I don't know, man. There's Amelia right there.
Starting point is 00:51:12 Yeah. I'm going to look at what Emilio had just come off of to do this atrocity. Because he was big during this time. Yeah, repo man. You remember a repo man? Yeah, but that wasn't like a big, I love that movie. Well, yeah. But I mean, it's still remembered.
Starting point is 00:51:33 You know what I mean? He had just come off of sound almost fire, which was a big hit at that time. Oh, yeah. Oh, God, you mean those kind of shitty movies, okay. Yeah, it's no, it's not. St. Elmo's Fire, Brian? What? You hate John Hughes?
Starting point is 00:51:49 The Breakfast Club. Don't say nothing, Lance. Okay. Silence is telling me a lot. Romcom. Okay, fair enough. Okay. So, yeah, so he had just come off the Breakfast Club, which is a classic.
Starting point is 00:52:03 St. Elmo's Fire, which is, I would consider a co-classing. Oh, the Breakfast Club. Okay. All right. All right. I'm wrong. I was wrong. Brian caught me on that one. And then he did stakeout, which I don't know. Richard Dreyfuss. Richard Dreyfus. Yeah. That was right after Maximum Overdrive. And then he did the-man at work. And then he did one of my all-time favorite movies, Young Guns. I love that fucking movie.
Starting point is 00:52:29 Oh, that's right. That's right. The original. That was definitely Prime Emilio. Okay. And then he did men at work, I think with his brother, right? garbage, man. So he did this one for fun then, right? Can we agree? I think that all thought it was going to be a big hit.
Starting point is 00:52:47 You think, oh, because Stephen King. Yeah, because this has the most pretentious trailer in the history of movies. You guys remember the trailer, right? Was Stephen King? Whereas literally Stephen King, we have to trust him because he's the master at everything, and he literally just comes out and says, watch this movie because I directed it.
Starting point is 00:53:04 That's the trailer. Oh, that's right. I mean, I'm paraphras. That's not what he really said. The master of four. That's right. That's right. I do remember. And I'm like, what a pretentious asshole this guy.
Starting point is 00:53:16 So, no, this was supposed to be a big hit. It wasn't a passion project. It wasn't an early 824 film. This was an obsession from 1986 we're talking about it. Okay. And then we have this kid. Right. He looks sort of familiar.
Starting point is 00:53:53 Even the water sprinklers are going off by themselves, huh? Yeah, but they're fucking with them because they're going off last night. So this common thing likes to fuck with people is what it is. That must be what, it's just a jokester, right? Practical joker.
Starting point is 00:54:08 Yeah. I wonder if they share a hide mind like the bugs from Starship Troopers. I think so. That's a great theory, man. I wonder if there's like a vagina-shaped mind somewhere on Earth right now, controlling all this shit I think I think I'm gonna go with that theory man I like that
Starting point is 00:54:26 I think the whole thing was hey this scene will look cool and that's all they did I think you're right well we need to be how I like the high mind theory a lot now we need dogy Hauser to come in there and make sense of all this shit you got walkman's killing oh I love those old walkman's carry you you carried around on your belt and he played a cassette tape in it those were great How do you die? Oh, no. How did this person die?
Starting point is 00:55:02 Maybe there was a lawnmower on the other side? Oh, no. Oh, what the... It's okay to show all the dead people. Just don't show a dead dog. Where the toy stuck in its mouth, by the way? Oh, that's terrible. Steve's team.
Starting point is 00:55:18 If sprinklers and walkmans can be weapons, then why could a bicycle not be? She strangled by a hair drawing. What's that, Brian? Does she strangled by a hairdroying? Yes. Now, how did that happen? That's what I'm saying. The physics are like, I'm not getting it.
Starting point is 00:55:44 Well, she is blonde, so maybe it had nothing to do with the machines. Oh, you know what? Maybe everybody's going to have to switch to bicycles now. there so now we have a walking dead situation here they're gonna be on horses and two years are gonna be on horses i i guarantee you man i want a sequel to this the ice cream man i would jump in there and get free ice cream what's it going to do to me like right there's the opening to just jump in there and get free ice cream well the way the physics work on this maybe they'd probably somehow poison the ice cream or something
Starting point is 00:56:24 burn, I don't know. If the fissor would get so cold that the minute you bit the ice cream, it would like give you the ultimate freezer burn, right? Yep. Oh, that's true. That makes sense. I think I'm just trying to go by the physics. It's like a phaso furious thing.
Starting point is 00:56:41 The only one that's like, I'm maneuvering these machines. Everybody else is dead. Right. Anything with power and sprinklers, apparently. Apparently, yeah, sprinklers. Where does that make sense? That doesn't have any power. Well, the irrigation system.
Starting point is 00:56:56 are tied up to a timer, so I'm sure there's electrical wires. Pedro, you cracked it, man. That makes perfect sense. And I love the hive mine. We've got some work in theories. Oh, here we go. Okay. Don't tell me this thing that's keep up with the bicycle.
Starting point is 00:57:10 That's stupid. Look at it go. Asteroid or not a lawnmower can only go so fast, right? Either the dumb kid is the slowest rider in the world or that's the fastest. on more ever he's drinking a big bibles
Starting point is 00:57:32 hey Brian shout out to amman he's drinking a big Miller high life you see that champagne of beer you remember that pedra
Starting point is 00:57:41 yep the champagne I had some in Chicago when we were roommates we all did we all did I can see just fine I don't want to pop
Starting point is 00:57:50 this guy's eyeballs are coming out of his sock and he said he can see just fine and so what caused that did you guys notice yeah it was the gas remember
Starting point is 00:58:01 Oh, the gasoline, okay. That gray, that gray sludge color gasoline, huh? Emilio's falling four fingers up, like, that's going to do anything. How many figures? How many fingers? He's like, how many fingers? This is going to go after his boy, who I think is the guy on the bicycle. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 00:58:26 Who cares about punching out at this point? Shit. Yeah, but he don't want to pay no overtime. Well, that's true. This is probably in another universe. It's not even our earth. It can't be, right? It's like the, it's like these Marvel movies that with different universes everyone Don't get me started on all that bullshit Yeah, it's like there's no stakes right anything can happen. Oh, look look at the way this guy
Starting point is 00:58:59 Oh boy. Well That was a good thing. Okay, I feel like that one He got he got punched out. That's for sure This is gonna still try to sell Bibles drinking a high life you have you ever you guys never noticed stephen king has a big problem with religion i have thought exactly people involved in religion like you got crazy lady carmody from the mess right the bible thuffer
Starting point is 00:59:40 he is not a fan of organized religion yeah but the one lady from the stand wasn't she like to like She wasn't a Christian, right? Mother Abigail? Yeah. Well, yeah, I guess that's true. I guess that's true. But that was, she was more spiritual.
Starting point is 01:00:00 She actually believed it. I think it's the hypocrisy that the father said. Right? The music, you're done. Are we sure that's the line we want to go with, Stephen? He knocked him out of his shoes, so. He's also putting... He's also putting puns into his movie now.
Starting point is 01:00:40 He knocked them out of his shoes. Exactly. This is the Bible. Man, you're right about that. He does have something personal. I think so. Hey, Pedro, dude, I've got an electric car, but there's nothing like the sound of that fucking engine ever, right?
Starting point is 01:00:56 Oh, I'm dealing with, I'm from California, so I'm surrounded by electric vehicles. Of course you are. Everything's electric there, right? Kind of like Tokyo. Just about, yeah. I got a big old diesel truck. Yeah?
Starting point is 01:01:13 I mean, yeah, if you go to... How do you like that $7 a gallon right now? Yeah, not fun. The Dixie boy. God damn. Those old school, like, what is the UV radios or whatever? Yes, yes, ham radios. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:45 Well, they're showing respect to the dead. That's good. That's good. We haven't descended completely into chaos yet. The salesman had his hands all over me. Oh, he's been talking. I'm seeing. It's like she didn't mind him having his hands on her,
Starting point is 01:01:59 just the smell of him now that he's dead. Okay, sure. Good logic. Yeah, that's a body they're carrying. It's shaped nothing like a body, too, by the way, but okay. Yeah, right. It was like a piece of cardboard with a blanket on it. But it was good.
Starting point is 01:02:29 It's probably full of used crack pipes, right? I think from this point into the third act, the movie slows down, like, Big time. Yeah, a little bit, right? Oh, he's about to make love like a hero. That's right. You guys remember when BIC was like the big brand for lighters and razors and pins?
Starting point is 01:02:54 Yeah, I remember that. Anything handheld, right? It was a big. All the same company. All the brands look. All the brands are getting their little woman in the sun. Yeah. Product placement.
Starting point is 01:03:09 See, so they do talk shit, so they have awareness. The machines do have an awareness. Okay. Like right now they're all talking shit. Oh, that's right. Yes. Try to be intimidating. There's definitely an intelligence there.
Starting point is 01:03:23 The Miller High Life truck. Lots of Miller. That truck's just being an asshole at this point. Yeah, exactly. See, so like, for example, right there, the phone is a machine. Okay. Did the truck just commit murder on one of its own? I don't know how much that any of it.
Starting point is 01:03:47 There's so much motion. And what about the gas pump? Maybe they killed the phone because it didn't serve a purpose. But they can't kill the gas pump because it does serve a purpose. Okay. Well, there's so much then. Do they have like a judge truck that judges over the precise over murders from their own? What would that be though, right? Maybe the green goblin truck.
Starting point is 01:04:21 Well that's more like just the alpha male, right? Yeah. What would be the judge? I don't know. Look at a computer? Oh, like an old TRS 80 computer like from back in the day maybe? No, this is not bad. Like for more games?
Starting point is 01:04:38 The Apple 2 already existed. Okay. Oh, this is 86. Alright. Yeah, it's not bad. It's not a point all the way back. I don't know. To the late 70s.
Starting point is 01:04:48 Is it only in this one town? I know this is the platform right here. Look, they're just, these trucks are all like just going through them like nothing. Oh, yeah, they're just driving normally. Why is that current not effective? Oh, that's a great question. Because he's able to control it. Maybe it is just the town. It makes sense though, does it?
Starting point is 01:05:18 And you know what, I'll say this much. If we do find out that it's just the town that does stop the problem, why don't they just launch the town? Why don't they just launch the nuclear weapons and end at all? Yeah, I guess that makes sense. It was going from ACDC again. All right, now this is a truck, though, that got outside. I guess this was from the town then. This is like the one possessed truck.
Starting point is 01:05:44 Or maybe he's pushing them into the town. I was going to say, if it's running itself, what's pushing down on the accelerator, physically? Nothing. That's the problem. Stephen King's Co-Connection is what's pushing about, pushing up the accelerator. You think so? And if it's anything with power, it takes everything over in the store that they're hiding?
Starting point is 01:06:13 I guess. That makes sense, Philip. Like the freezes would be opening in all the states and eggs, and they would be jumping out at them, right? Yeah. Like the cocaine sit. They just know. They just know how to do this. Oh, you almost probably...
Starting point is 01:06:37 It's a good stunt right there. Not bad. Like that's gonna change any of this. Right? How did it explode? I don't know, I committed suicide. What was that? I went off the road and now it's good.
Starting point is 01:07:15 It unalaps itself. How about that? Jesus Christ, come on. What? What was it carrying? Real fire. Finally, Curtis. Finally, Curtis. Yes, you're right, Brian.
Starting point is 01:07:27 Shout out to Real Fire. I know we can call the police from that truck stop up there. Looks like a safe place to stop, right? Is she screaming in every line in this movie? Yeah, Curtis. She's got to have money, right? There's no way Curtis is going to deal with all this bullshit. She's not loaded.
Starting point is 01:07:47 Do we get a backstory on them? Man, there's enough downtime in this movie. I think we get a backstory on everyone. We better it. Backstory on why the cars are being taken over. Well, yeah, that was that big old comment in the beginning of the movie. Oh, yeah. Oh, yes.
Starting point is 01:08:21 I would test her for developmental issues if this was at my job. Oh, here comes the scene. I remember the way this car flips makes no sense. I mean, maybe in cocaine logic. I think we are at this point. Yearly Smith's entire character is cocaine logic. Yearly Cocaine Logic. though. That's a whole town in that, but they're sad. Look at all that food. Yeah, they're
Starting point is 01:09:02 sad, man. Beer, they got food, they got beer, like all the cigarettes they got, man. They can hold out there for months. And Carlo didn't take them all when he exploded or whatever. Yeah, exactly, he tried. You know, everything about that scene is bad. Because you could also tell that that, that y'all would they were not even in the car it was like a voiceover right right Jesus Christ if your chance buddy to catch it on the life insurance you take it wow this is what he has to look forward to for having me here to death doham park
Starting point is 01:10:01 right isn't that how it works this is definitely cocaine logic at this And then he grabs his bazooka. Like imagine when he was riding this. Oh, then there's a bazooka. And he just knows how to use it. Look at that toilet paper. I like how they don't try to get out, leave the town, nothing like that. Just go right back into that.
Starting point is 01:10:46 Yeah, Joey, shut the fuck out. Trying to show us that the trucks are pissed now. All they gotta do is ram that gas station. They don't do it. That's what fucking makes her breakdown seen of her fucking best car getting mangled up Was he a doctor? That's good. Yeah, oh.
Starting point is 01:12:12 She said the thing. There it is. She's hitching her way down to Florida that sounds super dangerous. Like more dangerous than the situation that she's in right now. I mean it's just a horn dog. Nobody's about to get stuck with some. Yeah, Pedro, I guess you're right, man. There's no other ACDC songs in here.
Starting point is 01:13:09 I thought there were. Well, one scene, not like they were doing that for everyone. Holy crow. Oh, yeah, a plane too. I forgot about this. Like apocalypse now. He hears the music. Holy crow.
Starting point is 01:13:34 I'm going to use that one. I'm going to introduce that. Yeah, why not, right? Holy crow. That is the only time I've ever heard that. I've heard it a lot, man, but I'm old. Holy crow. They used to say it a lot.
Starting point is 01:13:45 Yeah. Holy crow. Holy cow, I've heard. I've heard holy cow, holy crow, holy shit. As long as I've got the word holy in front of it, it's all for a game, I guess. Holy Canoli? What are you doing? Yeah, I think he's looking for a little me time right now, Emilio.
Starting point is 01:14:22 Of course, he has. He has to throw in toilet humor in the middle of all this. What is that on the wall behind him? A box of condoms? Looks like it, right? Yeah. Just in case. Is it?
Starting point is 01:14:39 I think so. It's hard to tell. This is an HD, that's for sure. And look at the Poon Teng, Red Hot. What's? Condom machine. What are they called? Novelty machines.
Starting point is 01:14:54 Novelty machines. there you go. Novelty machine. Now go on now. Taking the shit. And pinching one. Look, Emilio worked his way until a dark saddle or somewhere. Yeah, he's got it figured out. Look at all those guns. Jesus. He's been there the whole time.
Starting point is 01:15:25 They never noticed it. She like stepped on top of him to get there. That's hilarious. Oh, there's a dead body here. Uh-oh. Okay, being obtuse. Obstuce. College boys.
Starting point is 01:15:53 I got, did not get the impression, Emilio, Esfiz was a college graduate. Yeah, but you know when you're old like this guy, everybody's a college boy. I guess. You're young. He's pretty much telling him that if he sticks his wien into anything, it might fall off. So he's giving him the old man's speech, as far as being careful. I just want to get the hell out of here. He's almost doing an Elvis impression.
Starting point is 01:16:30 I like how this gas station, there's like seven different accents in this gas station. Right. And they're all from the same small town, supposedly. It's the crossroads of America, man. He just got one out of a thousand guns in there. He just picked it up. That old man, just cop lock the fuck out of him. Look at him.
Starting point is 01:17:02 She looks like, oh, God, guns turned me on. Yep. This is that slow part, Pedro was talking. about. He's waxing poetic right now. Pedro was right. This is slowing down considerably right now. Yeah, and it stays like this for a while. I mean, really for the rest of the movie, to like
Starting point is 01:17:41 the third act, which is kind of a cop-out when you think about it. But we'll get there. Until it goes bad shit crazy, huh? I don't know if it even ever does. I mean, a little bit. Probably not. Yeah. Oh, they're coming in to get gas now. I mean, I'm not going to spoil it if you don't remember,
Starting point is 01:17:57 but you remember what stops them, right? It's like such a letdown. Look, let's wait and be surprised about that. Okay, yeah, no problem, but it's just such a letdown. Okay. The stupid kid, he's still around. Is he gonna be the mastermind of the letdown? No.
Starting point is 01:18:17 At least tell me that much, no? Okay. I'm surprised they didn't start this movie with this, with his kid time, the story to his kids. That's something Stephen King would do. Right. Well, but, well, we're back about 25 years ago. You should make love like a hero. And then they start the movie.
Starting point is 01:18:37 Look, I already fucked her. That was great. There's literally a dead body like three feet away from them. That's fucked up. Are they on top of it? Could be, could be. That same green cover. Ah, you might have a point, Philip.
Starting point is 01:18:56 It's pretty cool. When you're horny, there's no respect for the dead. Right. There it is the green goo. Ah, there we go. Secret of the Ouse. right? Is that what she said earlier?
Starting point is 01:19:13 We're in the ninja turn. This is where they figure it out. Look, we're going to get exposition right here. Ah, okay. I hope so. There's no stakes in this, there's no stakes in this, they're literally laughing it off right now. Like, what the fuck?
Starting point is 01:19:31 And what is he doing? What kind of, what the fuck? I just take his sweat off her forehead. That takes up. I've never seen. This is the most weird love scene I've ever seen in my life. Kind of bizarre. Well, I mean, you know who wrote it.
Starting point is 01:19:45 Ah, okay. Got a little cocaine left on your forehead here. Let me lick my thumb and take it off. He's kind of channeling Otto now from a repo man, Pedro. Let's go do some crimes. Yeah, let's get sushi and not pay for it. Why wouldn't we go? Oh, no, that man with the cigar's gonna charge him for that.
Starting point is 01:20:11 You know that's right. That's right. Somehow he's keeping tabs on everything that everyone's eating. Taking it off their pay, right? None whatsoever. That's right. Like, all he did was fucker, and he got all those compliments. Like, he hasn't done shit to earn those compliments.
Starting point is 01:20:39 Nothing. They got to let us know how great Amelia is. Look, there was a final supper again, Lance. You're right. There's something to this. I think so. man I think so and it's on a it's how did you there it is
Starting point is 01:20:59 I bet you if you were to ask Stephen King now here would have no idea what he has all that religion I don't think so all the iconography he's like I don't he's like I don't know what the fuck I was doing back then uh oh this is that we made you this is some prime acting right here right so this is where I know we did last some got their inspiration from okay that's right that's right I bet you're right as funny as that sounds Pedro I almost promise you that's
Starting point is 01:21:50 exactly what they were watching and they thought about that what are you waiting for what if you were coked out in the street go the gas, but we're asking that earlier. Come on, man, really? So they could kill them. I think they just want to enslave them is what it is. It seems that way, right? The hive bind and then they want to enslave them.
Starting point is 01:22:21 The big pussy brain mind that's up there in the moon or some shit. What's the end game, though? What's the end game? Because if they kill off all the humans, it's like that, that's my argument about people that are worried that AI is going to take over the world. If they kill off the humans, what are they going to...
Starting point is 01:22:38 Who's going to, you know, pump the gas? Who's going to push the buttons? Who's going to do the physical work, right? The robots. Uh, yes. You're right, yes. Okay, Philip, you're right. They'll just make a thing building better and better.
Starting point is 01:22:55 Maybe in 10 years, Stephen Skilbert will make another movie and he'll let us know in that movie. Exactly, the disclosure, right? That was a bummer, eh, Philip? That he didn't disclose anything at Disclosure Day? I know. I'm telling you, it's coming. In our lifetime, you think, though? What are we doing?
Starting point is 01:23:18 Hey, Philip, all kidding aside, serious talk now. Is it going to be in our lifetimes? Yes or no? That we make content that we're aware of. Yeah. Really? Yeah, I think it's going to be in the next couple of years. We're going to find out.
Starting point is 01:23:32 Well, that's strong words, dude. Like a couple of... All right. I'm going to... A couple in 20. No, no, listen, because this, because this movie's a little bit slow right now, I'm going to play devil's advocate to fill up, right? I'm going to ask them a couple questions. Awesome, yes.
Starting point is 01:23:50 Okay, so we've had an alien abduction reports. We've had sightings for going back almost 100 years. I would say since the 40s, okay? Yeah. That we know of, right? My question, just being logical, okay? Okay. What is prohibiting the next step?
Starting point is 01:24:10 Are we, I know the answer because it's bullshit. It's all bullshit. But let's entertain the possibility that it's not. Why are the alien life forms waiting almost 100 years or whatnot to take the next step? Because if we were to discover as humans, another civilization, it wouldn't take 100 years to study and gather information to do whatever we're going to do with that information. So why is it taking so long for the next step? What is the next step? step. Exactly. There is no next step because a lot of these reports are bullshit.
Starting point is 01:24:47 I mean, trust me. A lot of them are, but I don't think all of them are. And here's another thing. Not only has it gone back since the 40s, I think it's gone back since the beginning of time. Okay. Well, possibly, right? Like there's some old artwork and stuff that has like what looks very suspiciously like a UFO in the sky, right? Thank you, Lance for that. Because that's going to be a big. my next point. If you ever notice, people that describe alien abductions, alien encounters, right? They always describe the alien ships or whatnot. It's limited to the technology of that time. For example, people that describe... But is it? It is because people that described an alien life form or the ship back in the 80s, it was very spherical, right? It was very 80s looking. If you were to see
Starting point is 01:25:34 a lot of the descriptions of alien shipped, they looked like they were made in the 80s. because the person that's describing them only had that reference being from the 80s. We should have seen technology that looks like today's iPhone, for example, or like, you know, like very advanced technology. Are you sure we haven't, though? We haven't. I mean, all the pictures that I've seen are limited to the framework of whatever the brain is describing from that time. So if I'm describing an alien ship, all I have to go by is what I know that an alien ship could look like.
Starting point is 01:26:09 I mean, that's a decent point. I'm not describing things from 100 years down the road, because I can. I don't know how to do that. There's, like, medieval artwork with UFO. That's what I'm looking at right now is like some medieval artwork that's got futuristic stuff in it. In the book of Enoch, like, 300 BC, it sounds like he's describing the inside of a spaceship. I'll look into that. That's one of the stumbling blocks that I don't know.
Starting point is 01:26:39 Like, when people describe alien ships, they always describe them with limited to the information that they have. I don't know if y'all can see this. It's a 10,000-year-old cave painting. Yeah, it has an alien. You know, whatever. Yeah, let's do a whole show on this. What do you think, Brian? Can we do that?
Starting point is 01:26:57 Well, we would have to do a commentary for a disclosure day or something. I mean, my mind changes on it every other day. But at the moment, I don't know that they're extraterrestrial. I think that they've always been here. Okay. was. And I don't know what they are other than that. They might be from inside the Earth's
Starting point is 01:27:17 right? Like from inside the Earth's core? They might be something just from another dimension that we can't experience. Extra dimensional. There's a lot of popular theories. Mandela effect stuff. I think extra-dimensional, yeah, Mandela FX stuff I think has something to do with it. There may be something to do that. And I think it has
Starting point is 01:27:35 something to do with human consciousness. And probably all of the world's religions. I think it all... That kind of makes sense. That kind of makes sense. Pedro, Pedro, while we were talking UFOs, they are playing a different ACDC song.
Starting point is 01:27:53 For those about to rock, we salute you. There you go. So it is music by ACDC. Okay. That's one of my favorites. I like how they're planning all this shit. They're planning it in the gas station or whatever. And the machines have control, bro.
Starting point is 01:28:11 Like, they're watching them do all this shit. Are they? Because we've already established that they have power to control the gas station, so they have eyes. They're watching this shit. Yeah, why aren't these flashlights a lot? Oh, even the flashlights. Brian's got a good point because they have batteries in them.
Starting point is 01:28:29 Yeah, if the battery powered knife can be alive, then why wouldn't the flashlight? The Walkman was alive earlier? Mm-hmm. The Walkman. I'm telling you guys, this movie is ripe for a remake. but with today's technology. It would make more sense, logically, right?
Starting point is 01:28:46 As far as physics go. A Paul W.S. Anderson movie? Do you think he would... No! No. No, thank you, man. Well, they have this genre. It's just AI movies at this point, though.
Starting point is 01:29:02 I guess? Great smell, huh? But I'd kind of like something with, like, this much action in it, and people stuck it. I'd like a shot for shot. remake of this but with modern technology could you guys pull that off then you would be talking shit about the fake fire would have been seen by now well that is true we wouldn't get that real fire like brian pointed out with the truck earlier that's true yeah
Starting point is 01:29:24 modern technology is just on all done on computers right who would play the amelio par the young college boy as the guy told him earlier would it be uh yeah uh timothy you shamanley or whatever I guess he could. He could probably pull it off. He should just bring Emilio S-Nus back and pretend like he's... There you go, Austin Butler. They should just bring him back and pretend like he's young and just not say anything. Steve's favorite, Glenn Powell.
Starting point is 01:29:58 Glenn Powell. He's a little too old. He's a little too old. Well, he could be one character in here, right? Because there's a, there's a rogues gallery of characters in this movie. Emilio could... Hey, here's a twist. How about that? He could be Curtis.
Starting point is 01:30:11 Who? Glenn Powell. Oh, could be Curtis? That actually makes sense. Hey, guys, hold on. Hold on. Bear with me. Emilio could play the owner of the truck stop.
Starting point is 01:30:22 That would be mad at all right there. Yeah. And then he could have a throwaway line. Like, he could be like, look around the gas station and be like, I feel like I've been here before. Yuck, yeah. I love it. I fucking love it.
Starting point is 01:30:40 Yes. Now this guy looks like he's got that gasoline that was coming out of the the pump in the earlier scene, right? Kind of gray and oozy It does look like the same stuff That's probably all Stephen King had to work with and oh That was a Bible guy huh? Yes What's this all about now this is a left field? by Jesus I'll kill you. There you go Pedro
Starting point is 01:31:18 The hatred of religion that Stephen King has. Why is he so pissed off at religion? We had to ask him that one day. Yeah, if we ever interview him, right? He might not be anymore. He almost met Godlike when he got ran over that one time. Did he? What is that?
Starting point is 01:31:44 Well, that's a trip. What the fuck? What is that? The machines are taken over, Pedro. And they're jokesters, right? They're playing a practical joke on us. I'm going to go ahead and say, we made you, okay? Whatever that was, we made you.
Starting point is 01:32:17 We made you. What are you waiting for? Are they in a barn now or what? Oh, a bathroom, okay. That's a big-ass gas station. No shit. I think they're out of Buckees. I don't think of the gaspator.
Starting point is 01:32:33 I was pre-Buckies, huh? It's an underground buckies. Bubba's private shower. You kidding me? Imagine watching this in the movie theater and then everything just slows down to like a slow pace, you know? I know. That's when you're coming down off the Coke
Starting point is 01:32:55 and you need another bump. Look, we didn't even notice that the little kid finally caught up with the other crew. Oh man, come on. A rocket mount you really? What? That's how you hold it to? They keep firing that thing from the hit.
Starting point is 01:33:15 I hope the performance of the Wrights. They're getting their revenge. There's one big cartoon, but nobody's worried about shit. Well, that's fine though. At least they get enough, enough booze and cigarettes to last for a night or two. I'm gonna tell his kid about his dad. Oh yeah. Um, hey kid.
Starting point is 01:33:41 Uh, uh, he got scrub by one of them big boys as we told him. He's gonna grow up to be a serial killer. Oh, God. Swear a Millio puts him in a head loud. He does kind of look like serial killer.
Starting point is 01:34:07 The machines are laughing right now because remember, they could see all this shit. Right. No. That's what they're doing. They're feeding off the fear. There you go. We're adding to this. We're making it better. We're making this quick better is what we're doing.
Starting point is 01:34:22 So do they get power, like, or pleasure of some sort from the fear of the human? Yeah, they're like Pennywise. Yeah. Oh, my God. This thing just came full circle. I think you guys have completely figured this movie out. Maybe this is Pennywise right here, and we don't know. He just took the shape of a comet this time. Holy shit.
Starting point is 01:34:48 Pedro. You are blowing my mind, dude. Or maybe it's Randall Flag. It could be any of these demons that Stephen King has created. You think Randall Flag is here somewhere? Which one would be Randall Flag then? Not Emilio. No, no, the truck with the Green Goblin.
Starting point is 01:35:08 That's a stretch, though, right? I mean, doesn't Randall Flag usually take a human form? That we know of. That we know of. That we know of. What was that that that was driving down the road? Was that one of those like railroad things? There's a machine gun.
Starting point is 01:35:25 Hold on, hold on. Why is it dirt? Have they literally worn down all the pavement from going around so many times? Look at that. I think they switched locations and we're not supposed to notice. I think so. Emilio had the same dirty-ass bloodstained shirt the whole movie and this kid barely got there. Look at those open beaver shots on the wall.
Starting point is 01:35:50 Old school. Old school. Bavors. With that little kid just walking in there right in front of him. Oh, how did he get away with this? That... Is that a boo-boo in 86 or could you have gotten away with that? No, it was different times, different times.
Starting point is 01:36:07 I guess. That was one more little fuck you from Stephen King, huh? With the old school beavers on the wall. Yeah, no shit. That was weird. Man, they did notice that. Look at this shit. I've seen this movie.
Starting point is 01:36:27 at least a dozen times and that's the first time I noticed that and it was an is that will hater or bill hater it really looks like Bill Hader he replaced one shirt for another white shirt right oh oh it comes a machine gun oh yeah what the fuck did they care about a machine gun did you see that armory that's down there in the basement yeah but now like I guess they could shoot at them I don't Yeah, but I mean, they've got bigger guns. How does it pull the trigger of the machine then? How does it do that?
Starting point is 01:37:15 Yeah, the... It's a random flag. It's a random flag. You just can't see them. I guess so. Like, behind the scenes, maybe. If it can do... If it can work that gun,
Starting point is 01:37:27 why can it not work the rest of the guns? Oh, now that's an even better point, Philip. All the guns they're shooting and, like, you know, that rocket launch? Why aren't those being controlled by the combat? Because they're not machine guns. Because sister Abigail is controlling those guns. And there's the rocket launcher.
Starting point is 01:37:53 You got one, boy. No, he never run out a rocket. Oh, oh, boy. Single person is upset about this. he didn't even show him getting here with the first wits I don't know man So the
Starting point is 01:38:27 People I didn't even know you were in the first place This is ridiculous What a ridiculous fucking movie this is So So the machine is killing other machines Remember that too Yeah, I know
Starting point is 01:39:00 No. It murdered the jukebox. Yeah. Like that old country song, Bubba shut the jukebox. And also, let's keep in mind that there's a thousand ways they could kill these people from inside the gas station. Exactly. It decided to bring a machine gun and do it that way, the long way. But can it? Hold on, hold on. Maybe there's some kind of a protective shield. Emilio Estevez's mother Abigail, right? Like he's got a protective shield.
Starting point is 01:39:28 I know I'm stretching. Remember Mother Avergo just fucked another woman right now about 10 minutes ago. Well, somebody's got the shining. Oh, now she's pissed. Come on, what a dumb broad. What's her name, Florida? That's appropriate. It's not even loaded.
Starting point is 01:39:57 Okay. I know what you did last summer part two speech. I think Stephen King is also making a commentary about women in this movie, to be honest with you. You think, oh, elaborate on that, Pedro. No, I'm not going to get in trouble. Okay. I tried. I'm not trying to bait you.
Starting point is 01:40:15 Let's just go by what we're saying on screen. That's enough. Okay. What up for a Yerley Smith? She vanished from the movie. She's probably off doing the Simpsons. She said, fuck this. Oh, Morse code.
Starting point is 01:40:31 Here we go. A little bit of logic at least now, right? No, because they could communicate telepathically. They've been doing it that way. Who is it talking to? I'm trying. I'm trying. And the kid is the only one who knows it.
Starting point is 01:40:47 He's got the shitting. He's going to start talking to his puppet right now in his van. You know, another thing about another Stephen Kingtrop is that he makes these dumb little snotes puns way smarter than they should be in all his movies. Yeah, I can see that. Nobody knows Morse Cote. What do you think, Brian? Why do you think the kid's the genius here?
Starting point is 01:41:16 Did they say he was a Boy Scout? Yeah. Remember, he was running out to throw on the catcher's helmet so the sodas wouldn't kill him. Okay. Pretty smart kid, huh? Handwriting's kind of shitty, but yeah, I guess. Ain't got no power. Whoa.
Starting point is 01:41:40 All right, Pedro. They're definitely picking up. their telepathic thoughts. I'm gonna go turn on the pumps. So the kids try to reason with them with a letter or what's he doing? Oh, no. That was known as the Billy the kid laugh right there. He said, get their American Express cards, huh?
Starting point is 01:42:03 Don't leave home without it. Okay. Can I see that one? Right? Yes, I do. He figured it out. He's another smart one. The big guys, they're heavyweets, okay?
Starting point is 01:42:18 They crash in here. They won't break through the floor and end up in the same. seller. But that one, that bastard ain't no reason why he couldn't call in a truck full of napalm and who is his place now. There you go, Pedro. Yeah, they want to enslave them. I think we're starting to get to the heart of the actual game. Because somebody has to put, because somebody has to put gas in them. Right. For now, right, until they build better robots. She's like she's ready for round two with Emilio. Mm-hmm. Of course it comes our hero. We're going to try to reason.
Starting point is 01:42:55 with them. Oh yeah. There's Florence on the floor there. Or whatever her name was. Florida. I thought it was Florida. But maybe that's just what I heard. Oh, look, he's going to be all gentlemen like and cover her up. Well, like you said, respect for the dead, right? Yeah, but I mean, he was fucking on top of one like
Starting point is 01:43:17 20 minutes ago. Now they got a new one. I'm bringing you back to the cellar. This would scare the shit out of me. Yeah, why wouldn't it? There's no context to this thing. Like, you can't. It's not going to think like a human and try to like listen to you.
Starting point is 01:43:42 Put a little zizi top like music in the background. Right, right? See, that's the captain, right? That's the leader. We're supposed to figure that out. Yes, because it has a face. Now, did they make this for this movie? Or was it already a thing that Stephen King just found?
Starting point is 01:44:01 No, I think it was for this movie because it's happy toys. That doesn't exist. So it's a want to be toys of us, I guess. and he just straight up stuck the green goblin's face on it I mean he had balls to do that right yeah I mean because there's like
Starting point is 01:44:18 no other thing that it's not very ambiguous Marvel wasn't the powerhouse back then that it is by a long Iron Man 1 yeah I'm sure this company that produces film kick them with a couple bucks you know you think so I'd love to know
Starting point is 01:44:36 that would be a pretty cool trivia I wonder that props still exists. That's what I'm wondering. It does, dude. There's a guy that owns it, man. He tours around with it. I've reached out to a messenger before. With a truck or just with the mat with a props? Just the mask. He found it somewhere and it was all fucked up and he restored it. And now he tours it around at like four conventions. It's not the guy that does all those hollow ground. He collects all those props. Yeah, no, this is a guy that as far as I know he only specific.
Starting point is 01:45:16 thickly hands this one crown. Oh, okay. See, this is what they wanted to get to the bug because they can't do it themselves. Right? Little hells bells going on. So like, well then don't fucking fill them up. Like eventually they're going to run out of gas.
Starting point is 01:45:33 Like you're just fucking it up for yourself. Yeah, true. That's very true. I guess that machine gun, no, I guess the media said that it could bring more weapons if they don't do this for them. I think he was talking to it. Shut up already.
Starting point is 01:45:54 Yeah, I'm probably used less gas. He'd stop driving around in circles all day. I heard I had to look at a Marvel didn't give permission to use the Green Goblin. Oh, okay. Oh, there you go. And they didn't have a lot of stroke back then, so. Yeah, it wasn't the same. It wasn't the same at all, was it?
Starting point is 01:46:18 Marvel's side of free exposure for the recognizable Benin. They fucked up by this. Marvel's biggest mistake was selling Spider-Man to Sony. They fucked out of big time. Yeah, I know, dude. And then when again, who was to know, right? Who was to know?
Starting point is 01:46:53 Well, what sucks, Pedro is when you go to Universal Studios here, they have a whole Marvel section. But they're not doing anything with it. It's just like sitting there. And they get like a super indie dude, that dresses up a Spider-Man and takes pictures it's like it's really bad man if Disney I would I would hope Disney to take all that stuff back at some point you know no I know how to market yeah had Universal end up with it some kind of weird contract decades ago
Starting point is 01:47:29 a couple of decades ago yeah they're hungry so what happens when they ran out of gas there Oh, or is this the answer? Oh, here we go, I'm standing up to him. Okay. Come on. Just buffing the truck. This is what they're tired of do. If you meet it like a lion in the wilderness, you're supposed to like stand up to them.
Starting point is 01:48:10 That's what they say. Really? But I would never do that shit. I don't want to have to find out. Or a bear. It's the same concept. They're like, what do you want? Why don't they try to call like the FBI or something?
Starting point is 01:48:35 because it's it's I think we found out it's only happening in this small town. Yeah but but it isn't the trucks though. Isn't the comment also controlling the phone lines you think? Maybe who knows? You know what I'm saying like where they can't call anybody? Well that answered my question right about are they going to run out of gas? Yeah, but they could always blow those those trucks up. I mean, what are you going to do you know? I don't know man you'd think there'd be a solution right? Well, there is one it fucking sucks.
Starting point is 01:49:13 You'll see at the end. Yeah, first you got to figure out what physics is spinning that knob, right? Is the eyes of the dragon or whatever? That's another one of Stephen King. Oh, that's right. Yeah, the fantasy novel. Remember, folks, Stephen King wrote himself as a character in one of his Dark Tower books. Oh, yeah, many times he's written himself into the books.
Starting point is 01:49:41 So none of this shit surprises me. Yeah, you're right, dude. That final Dark Tower book where like he's a whole character. that kind of takes the cake, right? They're a kid say there's a big sewer pipe down there. He couldn't get him because of the wire and shit. But we can use it to get out of it. They're starting to get an idea.
Starting point is 01:49:58 Yeah, but the machine guns there. Don't fuck with us. Yeah, one little machine gun, and they've got a whole arsenal in the basement. Yeah, but the machine killed Florence and the owner. And a whole bunch of other, like, red shirts. Florence and the machine, huh? Red shirts.
Starting point is 01:50:21 We made you. I know. What are you waiting for? I can't get that out of my head, by the way, now. Oh, now we're going to get the exposition. So this is him being tired, like talking like that? Like nothing has happened. They're just tired from filling up all day.
Starting point is 01:50:51 That's cat. This is all over his hands. What a pussy. work. So that tells me this guy's an entitled pussy's what he is. Well, wait a minute. Hold on. They're telling the whole story now, Fedra. No, he's talking about how he's tired because he...
Starting point is 01:51:07 Oh, yeah, he's just out, right? He's going to talk, talking about how he wants to coach a bunch of kids in hockey in a minute. Mighty ducks. Obviously in the wrong hood. So this is just his... This is his theory about what's happening.
Starting point is 01:51:43 Yeah, which is worth the shit. Every time there's a bug in my house. That's the line that comes down. Look at he hasn't worked for more than like five hours and he could barely walk. What a pussy. He's all tired and sore and shit. Maybe he is a college boy, huh? Yeah, yeah, he sees an entitled asshole.
Starting point is 01:52:09 He probably has a desk job somewhere. Yeah, but he's walking like a man at least, not like you. Right. What's going on here? here. You're trying to escape, right? Whoa, whoa, cool, champ. A little peep business take care of.
Starting point is 01:52:40 Something you wouldn't understand. I like how these machines also know the English language too. That's another thing. Right, right. But he didn't hear him say you run. So it just turned its head to like kill him. I ain't never seen a hero with his ass in the air. You could tell Stephen King didn't know how to write his way out of this.
Starting point is 01:53:19 He's like, fuck it. Oh, he does have trouble with that. For sure. Amid is gonna spin them and then we're gonna throw a grenade. Finally she comes back into the movie. Yeah. There's Lisa. The old man's like, god-dain, she's my favorite character.
Starting point is 01:53:58 He's incapable of shutting the fuck up. What was it? Petra said Stephen King was making a comment about women in this movie? That's what I mean. See more than one. than one example yeah no it's it's there it's there you're right oh they're pissed down and they're killing their own life supply yeah no kidding your foundations it's an older one he's been asses now just put some sugar in the in the gas tank or
Starting point is 01:55:39 whatever that would have fucked them all up the entire movie yeah it really doesn't Think that's CGI guys. Bokane. Fucking gas station. And that's a real reaction. Didn't tell him. Damn, he really blew that fucker up. They're gonna find a big old prison right now.
Starting point is 01:57:05 That's the wrong show, huh? There's still that many people? I'm telling you, like, he booked a lot of fucking people for this movie. Oh, there's that plane from earlier. Right, that's where it ended up, huh? Right on the school bus. Right? Alright, here we come, Pedro, to the grand finale, right?
Starting point is 01:57:35 Somewhat. Look at those guns, like, they're all like, they don't turn on them. I know. There's no logic, right? Oh, he's riding them out. The burger thing is riding them out. Ah. It's like, I'm a boy scout. That's right. This is for my dad, you'll not mouth suck, bitch.
Starting point is 01:57:57 There's no recoil or nothing. He just knew how to use it. Right. See, it is a hive mine because how does, how does Bergenly knew that the other machine care is that? Yeah, yeah. It's definitely a hive mine. I think we've established that at this point. There's Curtis with his hero shot. Oh boy. Why are we can? Yeah, let me get on an electrical boat here. Oh, that's right. Or it doesn't you have to be electrical, just gas powered, right? Like the lawnmower.
Starting point is 01:59:17 He's taking the sailboat. What is that worth anymore, though, right? I mean, it's pretty big. It's still worth some. Eh, I mean, yeah, if it's post-apocalyptic, though, I'd rather have, like, water and... Well, no, because it's only the small town, I think, so... Okay, okay.
Starting point is 01:59:38 Is that somebody? Yeah, he's been in some stuff. They're just stalking them. Like the Jaws music. Got greedy. He got greedy. He just happened to bring the bazooka. Of course, of course. That's your movie.
Starting point is 02:00:07 Now you know what, now he's not bullshit on this guy. How can you have that prop if they blew it up? That's what I was just thinking. It's all in the article I just put in the group. And who used to say that was the real prop? That might have been like a miniature they built. Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story, all that? Exactly.
Starting point is 02:00:40 They're going to the Don of the Dead remake islands. That's kind of what I was thinking too, man. We've seen this before. Yeah, this whole thing is a little bit of a zombie movie. I was thinking of a great. It's going to be all right. So this is it. This is what happens.
Starting point is 02:01:02 Russian weather set. What a letdown, huh? Oh, yeah. DeaSX Machina, huh? Oh, boy. Well, the Russian. At least they didn't have a little one. That was the answer to everything
Starting point is 02:01:24 When they got into Trump Yeah, exactly Like a recent alien movie I just watched Landis did you watch this Closure Day? Not yet, not yet I haven't heard great things though For the most part What'd you think, man?
Starting point is 02:01:45 I'm not boring for what it was Was it? I mean, how can you make a movie Like the premise was pretty awesome And you how can you make a movie so boring Like, it takes work to do that. Is it that bad? I don't think it's bad.
Starting point is 02:02:00 It's just boring. Remember, there's that whole second act with like nothing happens. Right. Yeah. Well, that happened in this one, too. No, I'm talking about this movie. Oh, yeah. Oh, you guys.
Starting point is 02:02:15 All right. All right, guys. Until they started blowing everything up. You know, that was fun. No, no, disclosure thing was embodied. It was boring. I thought it was, I was, I was into it, though. It was just kind of like, I don't know, it was kind of flat, but it was, I wouldn't say it was boring.
Starting point is 02:02:32 Not terribly boring. I was, I was, I was into it for the most part. Like, I was, it was very, you know, engrossing and stuff like that. So. Right. Okay. Well, it's definitely on the radar. I just may wait till it's streaming, you know.
