victims for those of you delight and dread who fantasize about fear who glorify go welcome you have found the place
where the horror returns listeners beware this podcast contains major plot spoilers in the foulest of language
Join us in celebrating the old and the new, the best, and the worst in horror.
What's up everybody?
This is Chad L. Coleman, Fred Johnson, from The Expans, and you're listening to The Horror Returns.
All right, guys, Lance and Philip here.
We're still walking around the Comic Palooza grounds, and we've actually come upon Houston Haunted Tours.
What is Houston Haunted Tours?
It's a private little tour company that I have.
Currently, I run three different tour routes into Houston area, and they're over three hours long each.
Really?
Yes, sir.
Okay.
Didn't even know Houston had that many haunts to go to.
What are some of the highlights on your tours?
I have three different tours, and one of them, well, two of them, we go into different cemeteries.
We explore some abandoned cemeteries, some that have been overgrown, like you see in this photo that I have right here.
This is an African-American cemetery, probably the oldest one in Houston.
Really?
It goes back to at least 1860s, and there's some markers in there.
And it's overground, the fence has been broken, and I can take people in there at night.
And where exactly are your tours?
Are you just downtown, or do you go to other parts of Houston?
This is a lot towards southeast Houston.
But I also have a pub crawl in downtown Houston.
We visit a few bars.
Okay.
We have 100 legends surrounding them.
That is something our listeners might be interesting.
Tell us about the pub crawl. Where do you meet? How do we sign up? Where do we find you?
Great. Okay, we meet near a restaurant, which is probably the most haunted restaurant in downtown.
And then we start from there, and I walk them a few blocks around, and we just go to the different bars.
I explain the legends around them, surrounding them. We also go underneath the street bridge to visit what is an alleged entrance to a crypt that was there before the Civil War.
Really? Now, is this downtown or what part of Houston is the Krypton?
Yeah, it is in downtown.
Okay. What is the history behind that?
Can you fill our listeners in a little bit on what led to this?
My interest in it?
Well, I'm a historian. I'm a member of the Harris County Historical Commission.
We're the ones who do the historical markers.
I've done a few over the years for some cemeteries.
And so I have an interest in history.
But I've also had an interest in hearing ghost stories.
I've loved people's ghost stories, paranormal activities, UFO stories, that kind of thing.
So I decided to match these two interests that I have into this tour company.
I've done tours for other companies before and the past, but the last two years I went on my own now.
This is an independent company that I run.
We'd love to come and do a podcast while we're actually on the tour at some point.
Do you do these year-round?
Yes, sir.
I'm available all year long.
Okay.
365 days. We started dusk, so depending on the time of the year.
All right. So let's say I wanted to go to a tour next week. Do I log on? Is there a website? Where do I go to find you?
My number is 832-298-9257. I'm also on Facebook at Houston Haunted Tours.
Houston Haunted Tours.
And that's how you can contact me. And yes, sir, I'd make arrangements, whatever tour. The Pub Crawl, we don't need transportation. I meet your.
here in downtown. But the other two tours I do, I require transportation so we would meet here
and then I would shuttle y'all to the sites. All right. Sounds great. Thank you for your time.
Yeah, thank y'all. Thank you. You'll have a good time. Thank you. All right. Once again,
Lance and Philip around the grounds of Comic Palooza.
How does that make you feel? It looks like a big green cock.
So now that we're all in the mood, what the fuck do you guys do? What the hell is creepy hollow?
haunted house is one of the best haunts in south
Texas. We also donate a lot of money to local charities
as well. We scare because we care. We're a completely
volunteer organization, but we also are pro-hant.
All right, if we want to come out there and get the shit
scared out of us, how do we find you? Somebody said Roe Sharon.
Where the hell is Roe Sharon?
20 minutes south of downtown Houston on 288.
Very simple. And we're the only thing there, so
you can't miss us.
And so you guys only Halloween?
or what times a year are you open?
We're open every Friday to 13th, every Valentine's weekend,
and we're also having an escape room that's open all year long.
No shit.
Okay.
Where do we find you, man?
You got a website or what?
You can find us at creepyhohohohuntedhouse.com
and also creepy hollowescaperooms.com as well.
Bad ass.
We'll be out there, man.
Thanks again.
Thank you.
I'm glad you liked my penis.
So Lance and Philip here again,
walking around the comic peluzzi grounds,
and we have run into Dawn paranormal.
And it says on their sign, it is always darkest before the dawn.
Tell us all about Dawn paranormal.
What do you guys do?
So we are an investigative group, and we investigate homes or businesses, and we will tell you yes or no if it's haunted.
And if you want to get rid of it, we'll try to help you get rid of it.
How long have you guys been doing this?
Oh, my gosh.
We started 2011 as a brew.
We can actually just walk into a place and tell you, yeah, there's something here, no, there's not.
Do you have other divisions besides Houston, or is it just the Houston group that you guys are involved in?
Travel places, but mainly we stay here in Houston.
We don't get very many calls for people.
What brings you guys to Comic Palooza?
We usually have a paranormal track.
Mr. Michael Varhola is usually in charge of the paranormal track,
and we usually have panel discussions on different topics.
Last year we talked about cleansing techniques, protective techniques, ghost hunting 101, why we do it.
And this year, he just happened to be out of the country.
Oh, that's not good.
Bad timing.
Yeah, bad timing.
So hopefully, if you guys are here next year, we'll have some panel discussions in place next year.
Okay, but in the meantime, if, wait a minute, wait a minute.
Phillips got a question.
Is there any famous places in Houston that you've checked out?
I saw in your book here, the Spaghetti Warehouse in Houston.
I know I've heard that before.
An investigated, public investigation.
They did have some public investigation.
And there was some pretty, yeah,
We could feel stuff there.
And we were getting, we were getting, our equipment was telling us that, yeah, there was stuff there.
Okay, so you guys have been to the Spaghetti Warehouse?
Was it on a professional basis?
Or you guys just happened to be there?
Were you called in?
No, it was a public tour.
Okay.
So they used to do, I don't know if they still do it, but they used to do public investigations where you could just go in.
Oh, the Winchie brothers.
We're from Spring.
Have you guys been there before?
We have been there.
We used to hang out at Spirit Quest.
I don't know if you've ever heard of that place.
No, enlighten us.
We haven't heard of that.
Let our listeners know.
Do we have listeners all over the world, actually?
Spirit Quest, they're an awesome store.
They have mediums there that work,
and they have all kinds of stones and things to help people that want to,
healing and cleansing and stuff like that.
They're a metaphysical store.
Okay.
Now, what if our listeners want to find you?
guys or find your website or reach out to you how can they do that okay so right now we just have a
facebook page so you could find us under dawn paranormal d-a-w-n paranormal p-a-r-r-a-n on a web page right now so as soon as
we get it up and running we're going to post it on our Facebook page okay cool before the end of this
weekend all right and by the time we usually put these shows out about Monday evening so this show will be
out about Monday evening so anything else you guys want to say before we move on and
to some other people around here?
Yeah, you're not crazy, you're not alone.
We all know that this stuff is real.
Contact us.
Okay, and I'm sorry, I didn't catch your,
what are your names again, ladies?
Christy Brionas.
Okay.
Denise Hardin.
Okay, well, it was great meeting you.
Dawn Paranormal in Houston,
and you know how to find it.
Thanks.
All right, so Lance and Philip here at the Comic Paloza,
and I've run into some of my brethren here from Starfleet.
This is Joshua.
Joshua, what's your rank?
I am captain and commander of the USS Endurance, a commanding officer.
And what exactly do you guys do?
We represent various charities.
Today we're representing the Southeast Texas Food Bank.
And internally in our chapter, we support various STEM, as in science, technology, engineering, math.
We built a 3D printer.
We work with our local astronomy club to do some stargazing.
We have cadets, kids.
We work with various projects with them from building robotic arms and things of that nature.
Oh, it sounds like a worthwhile endeavor.
How long have you guys been doing this?
So our chapter finishes its first full year of being a fully commissioned chapter May 22nd, 2017.
Okay.
And we started on August 6th of 2015.
And you were showing me the ship here.
You said this isn't the enterprise.
Which ship do you guys have commissioned?
So this is a sovereign-class ship.
This is the USS Endurance, NCC-75010.
Okay, excellent.
So what brings you guys to Comic-Palooza?
We want to promote Starfleet International,
the international organization with chapters worldwide,
and raise money for our charity.
All right, and our listeners that are interested in getting involved,
where do we find you?
For Starfleet International, you can go to www.
SFI.fI.org and our website is www.
ussendurance.com.
All right, Joshua, live long and prosper.
Thank you, you too.
And again, more fellow members of Starfleet
that I have stumbled upon here.
Where are you guys from?
We're based right here in Houston, Texas.
And what is your, I see you are part of Starfleet.
What division are you guys in?
So we're in Region 3, that's Texas and Louisiana.
And we're based here in Houston.
The other ship is in Beaumont, the one across the way.
Yes, we spoke to them earlier.
Nice.
Okay, yeah.
So we're just part of that club, and we've got about 35 members,
and we're a charitable organization that tries to give back to humanity
and further Gene Roddenberry's vision of the future.
I've heard tale of tribbles around here.
And is that here, or is that somewhere else?
No, that's definitely us.
We get together once a year, and we watch the Tribal episodes of Star Trek,
and we get a bunch of sewing machines and people over,
and we can cut these and sew them,
and we don't give them way.
We take donations for them for the Houston Area Women's Center.
Okay, since we're talking Tribbles,
animated series, canon or not canon?
Oh, man.
Canon?
Because it has the same voice actors.
We're going to go with that.
Okay, fair enough.
So our listeners,
if they want to reach out to you guys
or help donate or support the causes
that you guys are helping out with, where do we find you?
The best places to find us would be
USS Zavala.org
or at the USS Zavala
Facebook page. Okay,
excellent. Philip, you got any questions?
I think that was it, man. We're
adopting tribles. We're having a good time.
It's awesome. You're a resident
trekking here, man. That's where your
questions come in.
Gentlemen, we appreciate it. Live long and prosper.
Oh, thank you guys. Have a great day.
All right, Lance and Philip, continuing around the comic palooszac grounds here, and we are talking to, what's your name?
Yadira.
All right, excellent.
And what the fuck is zombie charge?
I mean, come on.
So, zombie charge, it is the most authentic 5K obstacle mud run with zombies hungry to get those flags of each runner.
It's happening on November the 4th of this year in Houston and October 21st in Austin.
It's an authentic 5K run that you're going to experience.
Partnered with the American Red Cross.
There's swap bags.
That's awesome.
I know about 5Ks.
I know about 10Ks.
I've even run a half marathon.
But with zombies?
Come on.
That's why we have fun, different,
exciting for people who have tried different 5Ks,
but they're ready for the next challenge
and they're ready to do something different.
Okay, tell me again.
Tell us our listeners,
what is this helping out?
What does this benefit?
Definitely.
So we have partnered with the American Red Cross,
which is our partner charity
and part of American Red Cross
in each region
where this event will be held
and also our second charity partner
is the Houston Zombie Walk
which they raise scholarships
for the Houston students
Okay so if I want to be involved in this
Where do I go? Where do I sign up? What's the website?
Sure, as simple as
www.com
That's easy enough, cool. Phillip.
Already, I've seen this around
and I'm really excited about it.
I'm definitely signing up.
Yeah, I think Phillips already got us signed up.
I'm looking forward to seeing you
and has community
and each individual who's ready for the challenge,
sign up at zombiechards.com,
be part of our events
and experience something different.
Awesome. Have a good time.
Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you so much.
Who have we run into?
We have run into,
what in the fuck, is Zach Baxter
and the Knights of the Drunk Watch?
Enlighten me.
Enlighten you.
So where the Knights of the Drunk?
drunk watch and we drink and watch things.
That almost makes sense in a weird way.
Sounds really familiar.
Yes, exactly.
So last year we started this.
It's relatively new.
We did one live stream of our reaction to the premiere of Game of Thrones last.
Oh, we should live stream the rest of our base in less than a year.
We're almost at 2,000 K subscribers.
We have the door episode of last year's Game of Thrones.
Oh, Doar!
Like, clone has over 500,000 watches.
So, yeah, so we are really just trying to go after it this year and put ourselves out there because we like to have it.
We want you to feel like you're sitting on the couch watching the show with us.
So we've been doing stuff like Game of Thrones.
We did American Horror Story Roanoke.
Oh, so you didn't just end with Game of Thrones then?
No, we didn't.
We do a lot of shows after Game of Thrones, obviously.
So, yeah, we did American Horror Story.
Roanoke. We do Walking Dead. Right now we're watching American Gods and Legion. We just got through
watching Feud. And yeah, so there's a lot of stuff that we're just trying to put ourselves out there.
Yeah. And for someone who just likes horror and sci-fi, I actually got pulled into Feud.
Yes. And you know what? I'll tell you one thing. There's nothing scarier. There is nothing
scarier than Joan Crawford. That's all I'm going to say. Nothing. So it's fantastic. We're really excited to be here.
Okay, so you guys have a YouTube channel?
You have a website, Facebook.
I mean, how can we get involved in this?
Absolutely.
We're on YouTube and on Facebook and Instagram, all under Zach Baxter.
And that's Z-A-C-K-B-A-X-T-E-R.
All under there, we all try to contribute as much as we can.
There's about video and not people the other video.
It's usually because we're either working or on vacation.
So, yeah.
But we're a lot of fun.
We like to have a lot of fun.
We have a phrase that we always say, more wine.
So when you're watching...
What a shocker.
I did not expect to hear you say that.
When you're watching with us, we always encourage you to have a beverage with you.
So if someone dies, you drink.
If there's sex, you drink.
That includes both consensual and incest.
Oh, okay.
Because we're watching Game of Thrones.
So you know what's going to happen.
And there's a whole bunch of other rules and just go to Zach Baxter on any of our pages.
And you'll find the rules and be able to drink with us anytime you watch.
Awesome. Now, are you guys all in Houston, or are you spread it around the world or the country? Or how does this thing work?
We are actually a bunch of friends that work in the theater district here in Houston.
And like I said, it was just one time that we did it. And Zach was like, I want to keep doing this.
So we're all based out of Houston. Some of us, I know we have a couple members that are from out of state that moved here.
So we're, I guess you can say we're kind of from all over. But we have regular watchers, regular fans that watch with us every one.
week that I absolutely adore because usually I'm moderating the chat online and sometimes they're
way more entertaining than what's on the TV. I'm not going to lie. So it's great to have them there
and we have so much fun. Awesome. Awesome. It was good talking with you. Philip, anything you want to ask?
No, so just to clarify, you just videotape yourself watching? Video tape. Are we in the fucking 80s,
Philip or what? God damn it. I mean. Yes, we are. We all know. Yeah. That sounds super awesome actually.
Yeah.
Yeah.
People come up to me right now and they're like, it's not boring.
And I'm like, no, you don't understand.
We're all theater.
When things suck.
Right.
Or when things are really sexy.
Yeah.
We also have a rule that's any time you molest someone with your eyes, you have to take a drink.
So that happens with us, I'm not going to lie.
So it's a lot of fun.
Like I said, we're very verbal.
We have no problem talking through a lot of things.
Excellent.
All right.
Well, check it out.
And based of what you just said, we're headed to the bar.
Yes.
Good choice.
We have run into Preston Acevedo, and he's got some fucking kick-ass artwork.
I'm looking at The Predator right now over here at Jason.
There's just some amazing images.
I do have a horror comic coming out.
Well, it's not coming out.
It's been out for a while.
It's going to be consolidated into a TPV.
It's called Rockabilly Road Trip.
And it sounds weird, but it's kind of like supernatural, you know,
except with a hot chick and, yeah, an insane, like, mechanic.
So, yeah, and it's based, it's got a lot of classic monsters in it, stuff like that.
And you can get it through Stratom Comics, yeah.
So is there a website for Stratom?
I mean, if we want to find your artwork, like, we're looking at it here,
but we can't describe what we're looking at to our listeners.
We know what we know from Rockably Road Trip website,
and it's rockably roadtrip.com,
and I'm sure it will be a link to go ahead and get it straight from Strattom Comics on it.
And also, in September, we're going to be unveiling the Rockley Road Trip car, like the actual car, you know, and that's going to be at the crab festival in Louisiana.
Yeah, so we're building the car, and we have some web episodes on the Facebook page, like the River Road Trip on Facebook.
And as soon as the car is done, after we do the big unveiling and stuff like that, we're also going to be running, like, small webisodes like skits, kind of like jackass, except.
You know, we're going to have actors, stuff like that.
It's going to be kind of cool.
But I think you guys dig it.
I mean, you guys are into horror, right?
And I don't think I have a picture of a car on my phone.
But it's pretty horrific, you know, so I think you guys are dig it.
Right.
We'll go to the website and check it out.
That sounds awesome.
All right, so you're obviously talented as hell.
What got you specifically into horror?
I mean, was it something you were into as a kid?
Yeah.
I started doing superhero stuff to kind of make money a little bit.
Right.
Well, we are at Comic Palooza.
I'm like the horror because I was more comfortable doing it.
You know, I mean, you guys, yeah.
Yeah.
So, yeah.
And also, I have a wicked fairy tale series that I'm doing.
This is Red Riding Hood, yeah.
Oh, man, dude, that looks amazing, man.
Also, the wicked eyes up there with, you know, and stuff like that.
Okay, where can we find that, dude?
If we just go out online or something like that?
You have a art of person to be on Facebook.
You can see it, you know, and also I have.
haven't let it loose or pre-orders or anything like that on the internet, but that'll be coming
pretty soon.
Okay, I'll tell you what, I like your Pennywise version a lot better than the new one that's
coming out of the movie.
What are your opinions about the it movie, dude?
Do you have any opinions about the design?
Here's the thing, like, everybody's knocking it and stuff like that, but you know what?
I think, like, if you remember the original, right?
Yeah, of course.
The tackiest, most corneous part of that movie was when he turned the spider, right?
I mean, it looked like, it looked like somebody stuffed.
Yeah.
It looks like a Muppet.
So I'm thinking if they do it right, right, I mean, with the technology we have today,
like I think they might be able to.
But then again, you know what, Stephen King and his son, Joe Hill, right?
Two of my favorite writers, but every time their books get translated into movies, like horns.
It's never what I imagine.
It's never what I envisioned.
I was so jacked about horns.
I don't even care that Harry Potter's playing the good from horns, right?
Say, he's a pretty good little actor, dude.
He's coming up.
Yeah, he was really good, you know?
But because he's also doing a lot of the hammer stuff, too, like the new Hammer movies.
What the fuck are you talking about, dude?
Fill us in, man.
What are you talking about?
What was the Lady in Black?
Yes.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, that was him, right?
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, you know, and that was, that was hammer.
Yeah, okay.
But, anyway, so, like, I was so jacked to go see horns,
and then when I seen it, I was really pissed off because they gave the director, like,
too much leadway on it. They never stuck to the book.
Right? Like, I think the first 15 minutes of the movie had nothing to do with the book.
It was horrific. It was horrific. And I don't even, look, I'm not even going to get into it because
I'm just going to get more pissed off. But, you get into it. I know, right?
Dude, it's so easy for me to slip into something like that. But yeah, so, I don't know.
So what's your favorite horror movie growing up, man?
Favorite, Hellraiser, the original, personal. Or Rawhead Red.
Anything by Clyde Barker coming out.
You know, there's a new Rawhead Rex movie coming out.
Is it really?
Yeah, I think they're going to redo it.
I heard they were redoing Hellraiser, but I never...
Without Douglas Bradley, it's not going to be the same.
Yeah, he was the pinhead, you know?
But also, like, Nightbreed.
You're no Nightbreed.
Yeah, of course.
That was the greatest...
Today, that movie's still great.
Right?
Yeah, so, I don't know.
Yeah, pretty much anything about Clyde Parker.
All right, cool.
Nightbeat train.
I can go on and on
You're going to have to be on the podcast.
All right, man.
Well, again, real quick, just at the end here,
tell everybody where we can find you,
the website, the Facebook, whatever you got?
Autopress de Acevedo on Facebook.
And, you know,
Rock Columbia Road Trip on Facebook.
Hi, this is Ronnie Blakely from A Nightmare on Elm Street.
You are listening to the
The horror returns.
Greetings, listeners.
You have found the horror returns.
For all of you who delight in dread,
fantasize about fear and glorify gore, welcome home.
This is the podcast that proves the horror never ends.
Each episode, we seek out and review a brand new horror movie,
then go back and find a classic work with similar themes,
looking at both similarities and differences.
Our goal is to explore how our perceptions of fear remain the same.
from generation to generation, but also to point out how the presentation can change
based on the social and political climate of the times.
We do include spoilers for the new film.
However, we will wait until the very end of the show to spoil the new feature,
and we will let you know before we do so, but that's not the case here.
We're bringing you a special show.
We are broadcasting live from Comic Paloosa.
All right.
Telling where we are, man.
Comic Palooza and Houston, Texas, ladies and gentlemen.
It is a major event.
There is celebrities here from everywhere, vendors here from everywhere.
It's in the Georgia Brown Convention Center, which is gigantic.
It's like a stadium.
And we're sitting right in the middle of all of people walking by and everything.
So we may get interrupted a couple of times while we're doing this.
We hope we do.
Yeah, as a matter of fact, we hope we do.
We got some T-shirts and stuff to give out, so it should be a pretty good time.
We're still going to do our...
All right?
We got some questions ready?
Right now?
Yeah, let's start with...
Let's give something away. Hey, come on, we're going to give away some t-shirts.
Well, there you go.
Hey, who knows horror? Who knows horror movies?
Lance has already started. We're giving away T-shirts off the bat here.
We're going to do some horror trivia right now for the horror returns.
This is our...
All right, Brian, you may have to throw us some trivia questions real quick.
You know Harry Potter, but you know any horror movies?
That's the big question.
Well, we're going to be asked...
Hey, you guys know horror movies? Come over here.
You're going to give away some T-shirts.
Who wants to answer some questions?
We don't know anything about 104.1. We're the horror returns. We're a little bit more
under the radar than that. Come on, we want to get a couple people over here, so everybody has a chance
to win. Do you like T-shirts? Do you like horror movies? Do you know anything about horror
movies? You like things that are scary? Come on, we're going to get away to the T-shirts.
Look, here, we'll start out with a softball trip.
Three t-shirts.
All right.
Come on.
In what horror movie did the monster or villain attack high school kids through their dreams?
You want a t-shirt, okay.
And Freddie himself, Robert England is here.
Come on.
All right, we're going to do another trivia question.
Who likes scary movies?
Gondasota.
Kind of.
All right.
All right.
What scary movie is set at a series?
summer camp.
Who said Friday the 13th?
Over here.
Oh, he may say it first.
You said it? All right.
We got two of them.
We're starting out fast.
You're going to answer some questions.
Step up. Come on, come on.
You don't, we don't just, we don't give them out for free here.
You've got to answer the questions.
All right.
So when Kerry goes to the stage after being voted
prom queen bullies douse her in the blood of what animal a pig she got it you don't
have to wait for me to finish the question just chime right in all right next question in the
shining what is the significance of red rum murder murder
Yeah!
All right, you want to do it?
All right, let's do it.
We're going to save some more for later
after we do a little bit of the show.
All right.
Hey, step over here, guys.
Y'all know horror movies?
Come on, ask the question.
All right.
All right, here's questions.
If we need the horror movie stuff up,
we're going to get away some of three shirts.
How many killers are
revealed at the end of scream.
Two.
Who got it first?
I don't know, man.
That was a tie.
Yeah, too.
Did you get a shirt?
No, quick.
No, I didn't get a shirt.
I didn't get a shirt from that one.
All right.
We're going to keep going.
One more.
You ready?
All right.
I just remember much he says like in my voice.
I think my shirt's back.
No.
Let's see.
Who is Lori Strode's brother?
John Doe.
That's close
That was a little bit harder
Michael Myers is the answer there
All right let's keep going
Michael, Markle you, you wanted the shirt
For you or for one of them?
All right
Okay, in the movie seven with Brad Pitt
Who is murdered for the deadly sin of pride?
You
Right eye
We got a smart aleck over here.
I kind of want to get it to that because the answer is a model.
Okay, let's know.
There you go. There you go.
All right.
Thank you. That's fine, guys.
All right.
Do you want any more or what?
She got some bumper stickers to give away.
Bumper stickers.
Thank you.
Yeah.
All right.
Do you know anything about horror movies?
Think you might can answer a question?
We're going to throw another question out there.
You all ready?
Do we have more trivia ready?
Yeah, I got some more trivia ready.
You got some stickers?
Okay.
In Nightmare on Elm Street, how did Nancy's mother say Freddie Kruger had been killed?
I know they said it's on a fire.
That's it.
Died in a fire.
Got some more questions?
Leatherface.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
You can't answer your own horror question, jackass?
That's not my fucking horror.
It's not my darned horror question.
Come on, guys.
You think you can answer a question?
Come on.
What questions?
Okay.
We do a horror movie.
We do a horror podcast, so we do horror questions.
You got one, right?
No one.
Okay, so see?
If she can answer a horror question,
and all she likes is Star Wars, anybody can.
I don't blame you, I'm a Star Wars fan.
All right, we got a quote.
What movies is it from?
There here.
We got one.
We got another quote.
What movie is it from?
12 cabins, 12 vacancies.
No.
I figured we'd throw a hardball out there.
That was psycho.
Okay.
You mean psycho?
Did you win anything yet?
All right.
All right.
He's got to win something.
We got to win something.
Okay, cool.
Come on, dude.
There's got to be.
Hey, something we've covered before.
Something we've covered before.
How about...
How about the voice of the computer in the three?
Oh, they're not going to know that.
Oh, yes, they will.
No, they won't.
Okay.
Who does the voice of the computer
in the 1982 movie The Thing?
Yeah, I don't.
What's our answer?
Fearless Leader.
Okay, true or false?
This one's easy.
Like horror movies?
Okay.
True or false, this one's easy.
Michael Myers escaped from a federal penitentiary.
Chance to answer the question.
Hey, we got one.
No, hold on.
What are we got?
He said false.
Is he right?
Yep.
There you go.
there's t-shirt.
All right.
Hey, let these guys in, too, man.
Hold on.
Escape from a state hospital.
I'm running out of trivia questions, man.
Yeah, dude.
We might have to make something up.
Brian, which got for me?
You guys from the Easter?
Feed me something.
My question.
My question might be a little too hard.
All right, what is it?
I'm going to send them to you.
All right, hold on.
We got a genius that we're listening to you.
Give one to me on the fly while we're going to be here.
So everybody will have a chance to do something.
Okay.
They can't hear you.
What was the original title for Halloween?
What was the original title for Halloween?
I don't know that, shit.
In what tradition?
Like the pagans would say champagne by...
No, the film Halloween, what was it originally going to be called?
That's a good guess, but not...
What's the answer, Brian?
You were remotely closed.
Babysitter murders.
What?
Should we give them the answer yet?
Yeah.
Nobody's going to get that one.
Okay, now we all know.
Okay.
Okay.
Next.
Want another one?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
How many different cats played church in pet cemetery?
Okay, this is just a guess.
How many different cats played church in pet cemetery?
Nine.
Three.
We got nine, we got three.
Six.
Who said seven?
Is that right?
Yes.
There is.
Seven.
Yes.
Yes.
Oh!
All right.
What else?
Nobody's walking away a loser.
Hold on.
We're going to give you some.
How many days did it...
How many days did it take to film the Blair Witch Project?
How many days did it take to film the Blair Witch Project?
Seven.
Seven?
What's the answer, Brian?
Eight.
Ten.
Nine.
Dare yet. We're close.
14.
Can we just keep guessing?
Keep guessing until somebody wins.
Who said eight?
Yes!
All right.
All right.
We ready for the next one?
I'm going to give you a hard one.
Okay, yeah, he's going to give us a hard one now.
That wasn't a hard one?
The movie Final Destination is actually based on a
rejected episode from what show?
The movie Final Destination is actually based on a rejection, rejected script from what show?
TV show.
Well, that's a good guess, but not true.
I actually know this one.
Yes.
No, was it X-Files?
Yes, it was.
Yes, X-Files.
Keep going.
Okay, let's see.
Yeah, one T-shirt left and some stickers.
Leonardo DiCaprio's first movie role was in what sci-fi horror franchise?
Leonardo DiCaprio's first film role was in what sci-fi franchise?
British Three?
Yeah?
Critics three?
There it is.
Holy shit.
Wow.
All right.
We got a guy knows of stuff.
All right.
Oh, we got a few stickers.
So who wants to keep answering?
All right.
All right.
We got a few more, Brian.
Man, I appreciate you.
Oh, you got a list of them.
Okay.
We'll mail you a t-shirt if you get this and right.
You've got to reach out just through our email address, though.
What's your name?
You need another question?
I'm Lance.
Okay.
We have the Punisher here, Frank.
Okay.
Next question.
What Stephen King Adaption has his name misspelled in the trailer?
What Stephen King adaptation has King's name misspelled in the trailer?
I have no fucking idea.
I'm the biggest horror fan of the world.
Yeah, right?
What's Stephen King?
It?
No.
No.
Did you get anything yet?
What is it, Brian?
Carrie.
All right.
Hey, did you take a card?
Okay.
No, but close.
I've got something going right now.
Kerry was the answer.
He got pissed off at me because I offered it,
but anybody at all who does an iTunes review on us,
I'm going to mail them a T-shirt.
So listen to our show, give us an iTunes review.
You will get a T-shirt, I promise you.
There you go.
As long as you're not outside the U.S.
Yeah.
Because it was like 40 bucks to send one of my friend into Australia.
It was like, no more.
No part of that.
Hey.
What's your name?
Michelle, are you having fun?
Yes.
All right.
What's your name?
Tabitha.
Hi.
Tabitha?
I have a sister name, Tabitha.
I don't have a more than.
So are you guys having, are you having a good time?
Oh, yeah.
So, what are you guys mainly here for today?
I remember.
I was the artist over there.
Did you guys both get a sticker?
Did you get one yet?
Okay, cool.
Lance is pimping out our stuff still.
It kind of caught me off guard there with the tribute questions right off the bat.
Yeah, I thought we was doing that at the end.
I thought we were too.
He got excited.
You know, Lance.
Just let them roll with it.
It worked.
It was fun.
He's working on a commissioner.
He would have been able to probably answer all of those.
Oh, man.
But that's kind of been our Carpet Palluzzi experience so far.
It's been super exciting.
I mean, there's people dressed up as.
everything everywhere and I took a ton of pictures.
Yeah, post them on the page.
Absolutely.
Yeah, I'm going to upload them tonight and get everything posted and we'll have a hell
of a gallery.
Did you get the Snapchat?
No, but I'll have you help me.
I send it to you.
I send it to you in a messenger.
Awesome.
Thanks, guys.
Awesome, thank you, sir.
All right, I think we're ready for the actual show now.
We're giving everything away.
While we're walking by.
All right.
All right.
You want to get into horror headlines?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Let's do it, man.
Let's do some horror headlines.
All right.
Our first headline is,
first headline is we're getting a Judge Dredd TV show called Judge Dread Mega City One.
I'm all for it, baby.
Hell yeah.
Is Carl Urban going to be in it?
Probably not.
I doubt it.
Okay.
I only need two.
Watch it.
Well, I only need one main thing to happen in this show.
He must never.
ever take his helmet off.
Oh, yeah?
I think it's like cool.
I like that about the last Judge Dredd,
how he never took his helmet off,
but in the Stallone one,
he barely had it on.
Yeah.
Well, you can't cover up Stallone's hair.
Yeah, true.
You're a tell you're nostalgia.
Not at that age.
And keeping with the Comic Palooza vibe here,
it's going to be mostly like comic book news,
comic book movie news.
We're getting three new mutants introduced
in a Deadpool 2 post-credit scene that will set up
X-Force, X-Force movie.
Really?
Who are we getting?
We are getting Sunspot, Farrell, and Shatterstar.
Ah, okay.
Cool.
And news that came out right after that is
we're getting a Deadpool adult animated series
coming to FX.
And this is coming from Donald Glover.
Donald Glover?
Yes, he's going to be involved.
I don't know if he's voicing anybody, but I know he's going to be involved in it.
I think the making of it.
Interesting.
So is this going to be like Atlanta Part 2 or what?
I know because of the success of Atlanta, he's got some kind of deal with FX.
Right.
So I think he's just going to, he's a producer on this.
So I don't necessarily know all the details.
But this is coming 2018.
Right.
Okay.
We're looking forward to seeing that, I'm sure, right?
Yeah.
Okay.
On to probably the biggest news of the past week.
We're not getting a Hellboy 3, but we're getting a Hellboy R-rated reboot from Neil Marshall.
Really? Okay, cool.
And if anybody doesn't know Neil Marshall, he's done the movies The Descent, Doomsday,
and he's done some episodes for Game of Thrones?
Okay.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Is Doomsday the movie that starts out like it looks like it looks like.
like they're in King Arthur's Times and then they're in a fast car and it looks like they're in the future.
Is Matthew McDowell in that movie?
Yes, he is.
Okay, yeah, that movie's a trip, man.
I really enjoyed that movie.
It was just fucked up.
It was really weird.
It was something completely different.
Yeah, it was.
If no one's seen it, I recommend it.
Right.
It's a good movie.
Screenplay is going to be done by Mike McNoli, who is the Hellboy creator.
Yes, of course.
Yeah, the actual comic book writer Mac McNulty.
Mike Mnullin.
Yeah, and
also doing the
screenplay is Andrew Cosby and Christopher
Golden, and Cosby said the reboot
is going to be darker and more gruesome
than the other movies.
Okay.
All right.
And more news on that,
they've already casted Hellboy,
and it's David Harbor.
Oh, man.
People know him,
no, people know David Harbor
recently from Stranger Things.
He plays Sheriff Hopper.
Oh, that guy,
he looks like a Puts, man.
I don't know. He did it in Stranger Things.
I'm actually okay. I'm actually okay with this.
Yeah. Right. It depends on how they do the makeup, I think.
And right now the working title is Hellboy Rise of the Blood Queen.
Okay. Interesting. Okay.
And that is pretty much the news we have for this episode.
That's the news. And Comic Palooza is news in case you haven't been listening to the past half hour.
So what have you guys seen so far?
A whole lot of craziness, man.
We're just kind of walking around and checking out all the vendors.
We've got a bunch of interviews from different, like, haunted tours and things in the Houston area.
We've got a couple of good sound bites from, well, I guess you'll have to wait and listen.
But one of them is Roger Bumpus, and he did it as Squidward.
It was pretty awesome.
What was the coolest thing you've seen?
The coolest thing, I think, is they had a big old haunted house thing,
and we actually got a quick interview with these guys,
but they had a setup that was, it was just super elaborate.
I mean, there's these big horror clowns,
and there's this big tall thing that they've got,
and it's all kinds of horror-related junk.
And the clowns have been walking around.
We ran into them like four times,
They're a little jugglo-ish, but they seem pretty cool.
Nice.
Any celebrities you've seen so far?
Yeah, we ran into a couple of Friday of the 13th celebrities.
See, in this one, they've got them all off to, like, one side of the building,
and they're a little more rigid on how they have the lines and everything set up.
They've got, like, these big velvet gates and shit that you have to walk through to get to each celebrity.
So if they have a line in front of them
We kind of just don't really want to mess with them
Because we're only here for a day
This time instead of the whole weekend
So we didn't really have time to like walk through Robert England's line
Even though everything that I've heard about him is amazing
We did have a friend that invited us out here
And told us about this comic to Luzza thing
And we talked to her
After she had
Was finished with Robert England
And she's, she's
said he was amazing. Like, she stood there and talked to him for like 15 minutes. Oh, nice.
Yeah. And he had a long line. Chuck Norris's line was outstandingly long, too. Otherwise,
I'd be in it right now. Yeah, I think I would be in his line, too. Yeah. You guys want to get into the trailer
part? Yeah, let's go ahead and do it, man. We're kind of flying solo right now because Lance wandered. He's excited right now.
something.
Okay.
I guess we can get into, of course,
keeping up with Comic-Paloosa.
Marvel's the Gifted,
which is the new X-Men show coming to Fox.
Yeah.
What did you think about it?
Did you check it out?
It's a very short clip.
Yeah, that was my gripe with it,
was they didn't really give us a whole lot.
There's really not even any,
I mean, big-name mutants that I recognized from it.
Yeah.
They didn't really give us an,
information. I think this is going to introduce a lot of newer ones.
From what I understand it, it's going to tie into the movie universe.
Okay.
So, yeah, I mean, it's a little weird they released the teaser, because I think at the end
of the teaser, it says they're going to release the trailer on the 15th.
So I don't understand why they just wouldn't release the trailer or wait.
Yeah, yeah, just a couple of days because that wasn't really much of a trailer at all.
And I'm looking at the cast list.
I believe you met this guy at Frightmare, Texas Frightmare, Jeff Daniel Phillips.
Oh, yeah, from 31.
Yes, he is in the, he's going to be on the show here.
Mutton chops himself.
Yeah.
Awesome.
So this is a show on Fox?
Yes.
Man, I hope it's better than like Agents of Shield or some shit, you know?
Yeah, which that just got renewed for about.
the season. I don't know why. I've completely dropped off that show. I dropped off of it after like two
episodes. If anybody's wanting to check out Marvel's the Gifted that is coming no set release date
other than it's coming in June. So a couple or next month actually. I'll give it a shot.
On to a show I know everybody's going to tune in for is Marvel's the Defenders. Yes. Yeah, big time.
They're actually all here right now, Comic Palooza, man.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Which, I'm not going to go through the cast list,
because basically everybody from all the shows is in this,
with the added...
The only new one's going to be in it is Sigourney Weaver,
and she's playing the villain.
Okay, yeah.
Yeah, they showed that in the preview a little bit.
I thought that was kind of cool.
I'm actually looking forward to this one more than any sequels
to any of the other ones except Daredevil
or Punisher, you know?
I think it looks, just from the, like, little fight scenes that they showed where everybody kind of took a turn on that one guy,
I'm pretty stoked about this one, man.
And I'm going to go out on a live and say, and I think we're going to get a better improved Iron Fist than what we got in this series.
I don't know.
He still kind of looked like a little weenie in the trailer I saw, man.
You know, I'm not sure about this.
I don't know if that's just the way he's supposed to play the character, but I don't know.
I'm talking about the fight.
The fight scenes really is what bothered me.
Yeah, me too.
And I really like that.
They can't have Daredevil come in there and just like lay the smackdown.
And then Iron Fist is jumping around like a fucking fairy the whole time, you know?
Yeah.
And I really enjoyed that clip where he's trying to fight Luke Cage and gets knocked down.
Yeah.
And then just gets up and just Iron Fist the shit out of his face.
Yeah, that was kind of cool.
Because when you watch the Iron Fist series, you just kind of wonder,
why didn't you just use the Iron Fist more than you did?
Right.
Yeah, that's something he didn't do too much of.
Yeah, like, he seems to be in, like, trouble a lot in that series.
Right.
Like, how many times is this superhero going to get his ass whooped?
And, uh, sad that he's not going to be in the show, um, is John Bernthal is not listed at all.
Oh, no punisher showing up, huh?
He's here.
Yeah, he's here.
Which I'm crossing my fingers for like the last episode, maybe a post-credit scene that sets up his series.
Well, he may just show up in the show and they just didn't show it to you on the preview or have him in the credits or whatever.
Yeah, that is true.
But that's, I mean, if he's not even listed in the credits, it's kind of an outside chance.
Then we're getting a release date on this August 18th.
All right.
Philip. There's a lot of
a lot of women and cosplay walking.
Poison Ivy just walked by, I got the strike. We're trying to pay
attention to you, Brian. I'm sorry, man.
Hey, it's Poison Ivy.
We're doing our best.
This was Ebony. Ebony
Poison Ivy.
Oh.
Right.
Okay.
I don't, you know, we're kind of doing
this on the fly. I don't know where to move on
from here.
Okay, we're getting a good picture now.
We're getting inappropriate there for a second.
That's okay.
We're going to have to have some video of this stuff before too long.
Oh, you guys should have used the new Snapchat.
Oh, man, I should have, yeah.
We're not tech savvy.
Well, we were talking about doing a Facebook live of this whole thing,
but then we figured that we probably couldn't get your audio on there, Brian.
Yeah, well, if you guys get some video, maybe I'll make a YouTube channel or something.
All right, well, that's the next thing, for sure.
The plan for our future.
Where do you guys want to go from here?
Where can we go from here at this point?
There's some furries doing some very inappropriate things in front of us right now.
Everybody's being silly right now.
How's it going?
We got furries at the table.
Furries at the table.
We got enough pretty pictures of them.
I do.
Oh yeah.
Here, we're going to get one more, though.
Ready?
All right.
All right.
You like to pose.
Oh, that was adorable.
It's what we did.
We've been dropped every five,
for a good picture.
Yeah.
Yeah?
So are you guys having fun at Comic Polizza?
Are you glad you came?
Definitely.
This is our second day.
Awesome.
Man, I wish I could come out here.
Are y'all coming tomorrow?
I don't know if I'm going to be coming after that.
Awesome.
Awesome.
Definitely.
Did you?
Really.
Yeah.
This whole thing that I made.
that's here, I made it personally over the course of maybe about a month.
Wow. Okay.
Yeah.
Do you have like a website or anything?
I have a lot of social media.
This book, it's glitched past tense, glitched studios.
Glitched as in like I glitched out studios.
And then on Twitter, I am Mika, Glitch, G-L-I-T-C-H.
That's easy enough.
Yeah.
So that's Twitter.
And Instagram as well.
And there you go.
And there's a badge.
And there's a badge.
Awesome.
Well, that's good.
You got to have a lot of work goes into making a costume like that.
Definitely.
Animal and heat.
Very much time.
Very hot in this costume.
Oh my goodness.
I already need to crack out of the second water bottle.
Yeah, one and it's all crinkled.
All right.
Thank you so much.
Thanks, guys.
There was an interview on the fly.
Did you hear any of that?
just came by.
Yes, I got it all.
Did you really?
Okay, cool.
So maybe we can salvage some of it.
All right, well, we'll try to pick so up.
You want a bumper sticker, sir?
Yes.
All right, cool.
Thank you.
Thanks.
You like horror movies?
I have a feeling this one's going to take a lot of editing.
Well, we do some horror movies, a little bit of science fiction, some action.
Did you see John Wick, too?
Yes.
We reviewed that, and we did Commando the same week.
So we're not just horror movies.
We do a little bit of everything.
But mostly horror.
You Resident Evil coming out
Oh, we're all over it
Yeah, definitely
Wait to see that one
All over it, man
That kind of horror online
There you go
You're doing that in two weeks, right?
Is it two weeks or next week?
Is it two weeks or next week?
Next week.
Next week.
Oh, next week, I'm being told, next week
Our producer is Brian, he's in Alaska
He's the genius, he's the mastermind behind this show.
yet?
So he's, we're like puppets, and he's...
He's a IMDB page.
The puppet master.
Telling us what to do.
You like horror movie, sir?
You know, a wiki page.
All right, man.
Listen to our podcast.
Thank you.
I see SpongeBob.
Exciting and interesting day, man.
What are some of the vendors you've seen?
Oh, man, they've got a lot of people out here with print, some really great artists.
We ran into a few of them and did an interview with a couple of them.
One guy does nothing but, like, zombie portraits and stuff.
Oh, yeah, that was a pretty good interview, man.
He seems like he's a pretty big-name guy, it sounds like.
He does, like, all the Walking Dead stuff, and I don't know, some other junk.
But he seemed pretty cool.
All right.
It was freaked out, but that's great.
Okay.
All right, look at that.
All right, I'm going to stay out here.
Why don't you guys do the show?
I'm going to stand here and hand out cards to some of these chicks, all right?
Lance is off the rails again.
and here we go.
All right.
I guess I really didn't have nothing planned, so I guess just tell the people what other things you got seen so far.
Well, we saw the fairies that they talk about around here down on the Rod Ryan show.
What are they?
Knit and wit.
And they give out free hugs.
They gave me a free hug.
a sticker. Very cool guys.
They're like big old burly
biker dudes dressed up as like
full-fledged fairies. It's pretty funny.
Oh, okay.
There's been
really just a whole lot of geeked out stuff, man. I'm looking at
a Deadpool in a banana costume talking
to Wonder Woman right now. Like right in front
of the table. It's crazy.
Only at Comic Palooza.
Only at Comic Palooza. Man.
They're everywhere.
There's a lot of interesting people.
I got a lot of interesting pictures.
There's a few Deadpools around.
Oh, I'm sure.
I saw a picture from last year of San Diego Comic-Con.
There was like an army of deadpoles.
Yeah.
Well, I found one that was hanging out outside the bathroom playing on his phone,
and I snapped a picture while he was doing that.
Like he was...
I figured it fit the character.
Oh, look, there's a glammed out.
poison ivy
oh
hang on i'm going to get a picture
all right
hey poison ivy
there you go
beautiful thank you
we'll see that on the
on the facebook page go check us out
like it if you haven't done it yet
and uh
we're trying to get a whole lot of likes on
facebook and number 666
if we're not there yet
is going to get a free t-shirt
also
visit our Twitter page and
Instagram and
trying to figure out the Snapchat
not really into the Snapchat.
I will. I probably have to ask one of my kids.
I know it.
Well, we'll
get there, man. Social media. We've got to catch up.
Even though you're our social media guru, man.
I appreciate it. I'm learning just like
you guys are. So.
All right. Well, I do
We want to go ahead and talk about a little bit about Iron Fist or want to keep catching up on Comic Paloosa?
I'm running out of stuff to talk about.
Look at the time.
We got like a little over 10 minutes to fill.
Yeah, I guess we could talk about Iron Fist and all the disappointment it brought.
All the disappointment.
All right.
Well, look, I got a little Iron Fist trivia for you.
Okay.
It says originally the comic book was,
based off of the
Kung Fu series,
the TV series, and its success.
Let's see, what do we guess?
All right, we're going to have to edit some more stuff out.
All right.
So the Iron Fis comic book series was originally inspired
by the Kung Fu TV series in 1972.
The Hidden Land of Kun Lun was inspired
by various stories, including James Hilton's
Lost Horizon and Tales of Today.
Matt. Rosario Dawson is the only actress to appear in all four Marvel series on Netflix, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist.
She will be in Defenders.
Yeah, looks like from the preview, she's also going to be in Defenders.
And says, Finn Jones prepared four hours daily before filming began. Do you believe that?
Oh, my gosh, it depends. I don't know.
He says he did two hours of martial arts training and two hours of weight training every day.
Okay.
I don't know about the weight training now.
Yeah, I know.
He was kind of a small guy.
Well, that's what he said.
He said he wanted to have more of a toned and athletic look instead of being like a muscle-bound gym rat like most of the superheroes are.
Now you put it that way.
I can see that.
So, yeah, that totally makes sense to me except that, I don't know, man.
I was a little bit disappointed with a lot of the fight scenes in this series.
honestly, you know?
Yeah.
I was totally taken out because originally the whole big thing was
people that got to review the show early
really shitted on the first six episodes.
Yeah.
Those were actually really good to me.
I thought they were too.
Yeah, I was hanging with it through the first six
and shoot maybe even ten episodes, you know?
Yeah.
It was just a fighting.
I just really think he didn't have time to prepare
properly.
Yeah.
And just...
I'm totally in agreement with you.
And just a couple scenes and defenders,
it looks like he's had more time to prepare, so...
Yeah.
Well, like I said, that one scene where they're taking turns,
whooping that dude's ass,
and he jumps in at the very end and does like a Superman punch.
Yeah.
And that looked kind of cool, man.
So hopefully he does a little better.
How would you say that it compares to the other Netflix Marvel series?
if I had to rate them, it'd probably be
four out of the four.
Yeah.
Because Daredevil set the bar really high.
Yeah.
And Jessica Jones, I did not expect anything from it,
and that's up there with Daredevil for me.
It was good.
It was better than I thought it was going to be.
You guys told me to watch it, and it took me a while to get around to it.
And it has...
I did love it.
And it has one of the best Marvel villains in it.
Yeah.
I forgot his name in it, but in the comic books he goes by The Purple Man.
Yeah, yeah, the Purple Man.
He was pretty unstoppable, you know?
Yeah.
I think I liked it maybe better than the Luke Cage series.
Yeah, Luke Cage, kind of like Iron Fist, kind of lost me near the end.
Yeah, I mean, I think Jessica Jones and Daredevil are way above and beyond,
and they're going to bring this whole Defenders thing all the way back up, I think.
They're going to be the one, the glue that holds it together.
Yeah, I believe so.
Looking at some more notes I have since it's comic blues,
we're going to be reviewing a lot of comic book movies from here, from now till next year.
Yeah?
We got 14 coming out.
Well, you know, they're there, so we got to review them, man.
Yeah.
That's the plan.
That's what we do.
Which one are you most, like, excited for?
I mean, I guess you can't say events.
because that one's probably the top of the list.
That Thor movie, I like the preview because they're on me a flash Gordon with like the letters coming forward.
It was, yeah, the Thor movie was pretty cool preview.
Ah, the universe.
Deadpool.
If anybody's listening and has the power to make that song happen.
Right.
Oh, that would be awesome.
I'm really excited for the second Deadpool.
Yes.
Yeah, that's, I think, going to be my favorite coming out.
Yeah, that was announced for June, June 1st.
Okay.
No, next year.
I wish this year.
I know, man.
Look at a little juggalo here.
Oh, that's Lobo.
Do you know what if that's like a picture?
Lobo.
Come on, Lobo.
Beautiful, man.
Thank you.
Awesome.
Yeah.
Hey, y'all listen to our podcast.
Thank you.
We're stopping random people, man.
All right.
Well, okay.
We've got a few more minutes, so.
A couple more minutes, okay.
Now we've got all the more minutes we want, dude.
We're the last fucking thing at the place.
Hey, listen to our podcast, man.
You like scary movies?
Well, yeah, but aside from the listeners, just hearing us yell at people.
Oh.
Sounds like,
Lance is going to run out of stuff.
Oh, we're out.
Oh, yeah, no.
She ran out on T-shirts in the first 10 minutes.
I was like, wait, don't we want to do this at the end?
Hey, where's Waldo?
I guess not.
Literally, that's Waldo.
His daughter looked pissed that you said that.
She was like, are you serious?
She said, that's the 12th time today.
Somebody said, where's Waldo?
Oh, wait, I think he's supposed to be Harry Potter.
Whoops.
It is Waldo, though, right?
And he shouldn't have worn that striped t-shirt.
All right, well, we're having a good time.
Hey, what's up, man?
You like scary movies?
Check out our podcast, dude.
Thanks.
He's definitely throwing that card away.
You think so?
Yeah.
Hey, tell Brian about the little altercation I must have with the guy today.
Oh, yeah, there was some protesters out front.
That was kind of fun.
I don't know why they were here.
No, I don't either.
I hate to talk about them because it's just giving them more attention,
but it was something along the lines of, what did it say?
Homosexious.
Something like that.
Homo sex is evil.
I don't know.
Something along those lines.
Something stupid.
And so they had like a band of like three cops that I guess were just assigned to these guys to make sure nobody walked their ass while they were standing out there.
And it was a bunch of, you know, like older white males that were out there just bashing on people and protesting.
I don't know why they were protesting here.
Maybe just people are wrapped up in cops.
costume and stuff, but, uh, hey, kick ass just passed us.
Big ass just passed us.
Well, you guys, maybe you guys should have sent kickass out there.
I know, right?
He'd have whooped their ass.
This skinny little kid that just walked by would have whooped their ass.
You could send kickass in Deadpool in the banana suit.
Yes.
Oh, and Lance, uh, Lance had a little comment for him.
He said, uh, it's, it's a sin to be a douchebag.
Oh, that's what he said.
It says, homosexism.
a sin was their sign.
He didn't, he didn't like that a whole lot.
Yeah, we came back and he was gone.
He was yelling some nasty things at him and then, uh, at Lance.
And then, uh, when we came back, he was gone.
So, Michael!
I guess that finally kicked him out.
Hey, Michael, come here.
And Michael Myers?
Yeah, Michael Myers is here, man.
Walking around.
You got to listen to the podcast, man.
It's all about you, baby.
You want a card, too?
Come here.
Actually, you know what? You want a sticker?
Great.
These kids are like 12.
There we go.
It's not every day you meet Michael Myers, man.
Kids get permission before you listen to our podcast.
No kidding, right?
Because we're cussing up and down from the get-gun.
Their mom is going to be super pissed.
You guys like scary movies?
Check on our podcast, man.
All right.
Hey, hand somebody's up to your friends, man. Thanks.
All right.
I think that about wraps up on time for the podcast portion of it.
We still got 10 minutes left, dude.
Let's talk some more.
What do you want to talk about?
We're having a good time.
Ask if anybody likes Keith or David Keith, listen to our podcast.
That's a great question, dude.
Frank Castle!
You got the Punisher.
I'm not shitting you, dude.
The Punisher's Harry.
Ghost Rider.
Shit.
A couple of Ghost Rider.
And I don't know who the hell that is.
Vengeance is mine, say it the Lord.
Nice.
Thank you guys.
All right.
So we got Ghost Rider, the Punisher, and Vengeance here.
Oh, I like it.
That's a fucking badass costume, man.
Check us out.
Maybe I'll learn who vengeance is.
Man, it's a lot of fun here, Brian, dude.
Sure wish you could join us, brother.
Hey, does Alaska have anything like this?
We had some for anime, but that's not even nothing I'm into.
Oh, which way over there?
We got somebody looking for the CGC stand.
Anybody know where it is?
I need to give my, I got a book I need great.
I guess not.
A lot of autographs and everything.
else going on, huh?
Oh, he's trying to get a comic book graded.
Oh, okay.
That makes sense.
Yeah, that makes sense.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Get you together?
Do you have a car?
What podcast do you do?
Oh, wait.
Ah, hang on.
Take a lot.
There goes.
Thank you.
Take a second for the flash to reload.
You have a podcast or anything?
I've done.
Appreciate it, guys.
That's awesome.
You're thinking about it?
Yeah.
We were just messing around.
One day, huh?
Yeah.
So you've got to practice for free.
You can get to the right.
Yeah, whatever.
Not really.
We just kind of wing it.
We're just knocking around.
That's all we do, man.
We saw like, we in here, we saw like one person we came back around, so I didn't
weird quick.
Right?
People just walked out, set out, the bottom of course.
Yeah, that's what it's for.
I can't believe how much space they have here, you know?
We should have all done like that.
We have a whole big section just right in the middle of everything,
in the middle of the main aisle.
And so we're trying to keep things interesting because most of the podcast guys have kind of set back up on the table in the back all day and just kind of recorded in silence.
And we took a little different approach.
Yeah.
Well, I believe, you know, we go off the rails a lot.
So yeah, it happens.
It fits the show.
Everybody's going to hell that goes at this convention.
Yes.
And we're like, like, give them space.
Like, they have nine cops on them.
like, get them people's face, let them speak.
And they're like, okay, okay.
He's the one editing.
Here we go.
I love how they make themselves around one trash can.
Right.
Because they, I remember what I went up there because I wanted to like mess with them.
And I told them, I told them this.
Like I said, can you see my phone?
And at the phone brightened stuff really dark.
He said, no, I can't see it.
You'll have to go over there in the shade.
And I'm like, why aren't you over in the shade?
And I said, he told me, well, he likes it here, like standing here.
Uh-oh.
We just, we just lots some lights.
Oh, seven o'clock, I think they're shutting down now.
Next to the trash.
Right?
Yeah.
Turn the lights off on us.
Yeah.
I mean, they're where they belong.
They're where they feel comfortable.
Right.
Whatever.
Why should I stand in their way?
Fair enough.
All right.
So that's, I guess we're more or less being told that the lights are going out.
The party's almost over.
It is almost time for Comic Palooza Saturday.
Yeah.
Get off the fire.
You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here.
Right.
All right.
Well, that was a good recording that was probably one of the strangest ones we've ever known.
That was probably a terrible recording, but it was still a lot of fun.
Yeah.
She's not even in costume, and she's hot.
Oh, right.
Wow.
Okay.
So, until the horror returns again, good.
