You get a pack of Phillies.
Phillies.
Not backwards.
Backwood.
Phillies.
Philly.
Are you dead?
You speak English, bitch?
I said Phillies, nigger.
What the shit?
Watch your mouth.
The fuck you say, nigger?
Let's get that.
Watch your mouth.
You don't watch your fucking mouth, nigger?
What are wrong with you?
Huh?
How to fuck that feel, nigger?
Familiar.
I asked everybody to another episode of THR,
and stream themes.
I'm your host Brian.
With me as always
is my brother,
Nez.
What's up, man?
Hey, everybody.
We are back.
Life, everyone.
You know how it goes.
Everything is in the way.
But we're back.
Hopefully,
won't take any more long hiatus,
but who knows.
But tonight is my pick.
I'm taking you guys back
to October 12th.
of 2022.
I'm not sure if they filmed this before shutdown, or what?
I didn't really look into the whole specs of this film.
Let me see.
Production in August 2015 was reported.
In March 21st, it was announced.
Announced.
It's insane.
Anything about that was?
Hmm.
Well, they shot the film.
That's about all I can tell you.
But we're coming at you with the 2022s
1992s.
This is my home.
These streets raise me.
Might get a little crazy out there today.
We out west from around the world,
the weight of verdict and rod.
Maybe I can bring the sun back up here.
I run it for me.
Catalytic converters.
They need platinum.
How much they got in there?
Ten million.
You need a miracle to pull this off.
A great...
A stunning verdict.
The four police officers were found not guilty.
You watching the news?
No one minding the store.
This is our window.
It scares me.
It would be more safe here.
You're at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Where's my son?
This is not going to end well for you.
I'm not going well for you.
Generate your whole fucking family.
Give me my son.
And if I don't, then we got a problem, homie.
Mercer is desperately trying to rebuild his life and his relationship with his son
amid the turbulent Los Angeles riots in 1992.
Across town, another father and son put their own strained relationship to the test as they plan a dangerous heist where Mercer works.
As tensions continue to rise in the city, both families reach their boiling points when they collide.
All right, that was Google IMDB.
Factory worker must protect his son during the 1992 LA uprising after the Rodney King verdict.
This was directed by
Arnell Roman
That name sounds familiar
And
He gave us that movie
The Ice Man I saw that one
Something called Criminal
The Angel
Hmm
Yeah
Ice Man is the only thing
Other than this film that I've seen
So
But
Ice Man is pretty good
on Netflix when I seen it.
But this stars
Baby Boy,
Tyrese Gibson, as
Mercer Bay, aka
Merck, Scott Eastwood
is Riggin, Dylan
Arnold, is Dennis,
Christopher
Emmanuel, as
Antoine Bay. That's
Merck's son.
Ori Pfeiffer is Murphy,
Clay Bennett, as Copeland,
and
this Russian guy
I just remember him from
Predators
He's an all-star
Yeah
Oleg
Taktorov
I think that's his name
but he plays Titus
And
we lost him
This next guy
Back in 2022
And this is Ray Leota
As low wow
Was this his last film?
It was neither this or cocaine bear.
Yeah, cocaine bear.
Something called Fool's Paradise and Dangerous Waters.
Okay, that's, I think Dangerous Waters was,
well, he had three films in 2023,
so I couldn't tell you which one exactly.
I forgot he was in Cocaine Bear.
We might have to tackle that one at some point.
but I think other
I mean everyone goes
Goodfellas and all that
but
um
a movie that I'd seen a while ago
and I just finally picked it up
on Blurray as NARC
have you seen that one?
With the
Buster Rives and that one?
I just remember
Jason Patrick
and you make me look
I bought it but I haven't watched it yet
I haven't seen this movie in a long time
oh you go
I got to pull the up
they have busting arms
okay
I just remember Jason Patrick
was a
drug addict
and that other dude
another guy in it
he was an all star
he's been in all kinds of stuff
he shot McBride
is that the guy that tried to
um
he was all drugged out
and his girlfriend or whatever
tried to
no he tried to burn his girlfriend
because she she gave him some kind of STD and his dick was falling off or something.
That's the only part I remember.
But if you guys haven't seen NERC, check it out.
It's an awesome film.
It is streaming on Pluto.
And everyone has that, if you don't mind the ads.
But Brian, what did you think of 1992?
I really enjoyed this one.
I remember seeing the poster for it when it originally came out,
but it kind of wasn't on my radar to watch.
But when you recommended it,
I was like,
oh,
yeah,
I do remember posting like the poster about in the trailer.
I never,
I didn't check out the trailer,
so I had no idea what the movie was about.
And to find out it was a heist movie set during the,
the Rodney King verdict and the riots that happened,
I was like,
okay,
you got my interest.
And I really, I thought the acting was pretty fucking solid.
I really enjoyed how they played Tyrese's character.
They really showed you what kind of a person he was and what kind of person he's trying to be.
And you get introduced to Scott Eastwood's character, his little brother, and Ray Leota plays his father and how their family dynamic is.
and then you get into the
the verdict
and then the riots break out
and then you get into the highest.
It was almost like two movies in one.
Yeah.
And I really liked that.
And yeah,
I really,
really enjoyed this one.
I think this is kind of a hidden gem
that I don't hear anybody talking about.
I first came across this one.
It was a clip of when he was in the store
in those two.
young up-and-comers came up and got in his face.
Oh, when the OGs had to come in and stop it and slap that kid around.
You don't know who that is?
Slap.
I was like, what is this?
And that's the only clip I seen.
So I had to go look to see what movie this was.
Well, I had to look up Tyrese's IMDB.
And I went, okay, what's this?
And I clicked on 1992.
And then I watched the trailer.
And I went, all right, this is a movie.
And I couldn't find it streaming anywhere.
Well, you could have rented it for however much.
And even on the other places, I was like, hmm, I didn't see it.
So, but I was like, all right.
And then, what was it in December?
I got stars.
I was one of those deals.
Get it for a year for $2 or whatever it is.
So I was like, all right, so let me just get it.
And then I don't like Netflix does this too.
They put movies on there because there was the thumbnail for 1992.
Oh, there it is.
I click on it coming soon.
It'll be out in a few weeks.
I was like, man.
I mean, just don't advertise it.
Don't put it on there because I never read the coming soon.
I was like, oh, man, you guys are killing me.
So once it finally hit, I watched it.
And yeah, I liked this movie.
I thought it was really good.
I am not that big of a fan of Tyrese Gibson.
He just kind of gets on my nerves.
He gets on my nerves when he's like playing characters like Roman from Fast and Furious.
I did not like him at all, man.
I mean, when he came into the second film, I was like, uh.
Even I kind of in Baby Boy, I thought he at times was kind of a punk.
yeah he was bugging me in that
but this and then another movie
you ever seen waist deep
I might have
where his son gets kidnapped
oh yeah I did see that one
thought he was good at that one
I hated him in Transformers
I was like why are you in this
you know that guy tried to be Green Laner
who Tyrese
well there is a
black green lantern, but...
Didn't need to be Tyrese.
No, not him.
He was in Legion?
I don't remember in that.
Or Morbius? I don't remember in that either.
Yeah, Morbius, he was like the...
He was an agent.
Yeah.
He didn't have a big part, huh?
And Legion, he was one of the people...
In the restaurant?
Yeah.
That was another movie I'd seen him in.
I don't see
If it's on here
It has to be
But I don't
He was good in four brothers
Yes that's what I was thinking
A four brothers
That was a good movie
Yeah
Him and Marky Mark
And
The other two guys
Garrett
Garrett Hadlin
And Andre 3000
Ice cold
Yeah
That was a John Singleton
movie
Wasn't it
Mm-hmm
Rest in peace
Yeah, rest in peace.
Four brothers.
If you haven't seen that, it's streaming on Paramount Plus.
Check it out.
It's a good movie.
But, yeah, so when I finally saw the movie, I was like, oh, man, this is pretty good.
I enjoyed what was happening in it.
And at first, I thought it was going to be mainly about the riots and everything.
Because his character, he had just gotten out of prison.
So, I mean, we don't see.
prison or anything, but he's
talking to his parole
officer, just kind of letting him know when
he's his next appointment or
whatever, his interview or whatever those are called.
He's going to see again.
So, yeah, we're kind of introduced to him, and then
we're introduced to his son.
He's a
single father.
Did his mom die? That's what I
kind of got.
I took it as she died,
but I don't think, I can't,
I've just watched this movie today as
recording this and I don't remember them even saying they kind of alluded to to I don't think she left
yeah because I think he was with his mom and I think he said his ground I think they he had
mentioned something about an accident yeah so I took it as she passed yeah I think she she passed
and then he got out of jail and he he had to take care of a son so but he he he's
seemed like this his character he turned himself around in prison and didn't want to go back didn't
didn't didn't he didn't come out and go right back to the life he just started working and
uh he was doing his father role and taking care of a son because he was he was really strict
with him he was um the way i took it as how on how strict he was with his son because the son was
like i don't get to go see i don't have any i don't get to see my friends and i don't get to do
nothing and it just reminded me of my friend my other one of my homies I grew up with I mean his his his
dad was was pretty strict like this and his dad was a little knucklehead he was out there doing dirt
when he was growing up and that's what this case character was doing he didn't want his son out
there doing it he didn't want him to go down the path that he chose to uh doing dirt ending up in
jail so he was just trying like you go to school do your things
thing come home and while he was out working so but while all that was happening isn't then we kind of
were introduced to uh rigan scott eastwood's character him and his uh his buddy copeland and they're
kind of um talking about a heist that they want to do and just kind of like getting his crew
together and then they uh were introduced to his brother or excuse me rigan's brother dennis
he was still
kind of wet behind the ears
like I don't know if he had done many jobs with him
because he seemed really nervous
yeah well I was gonna ask you
not to be funny or anything
listeners but was he slow a little bit
I think so I think he was
I think he was on the spectrum
I kind of got that
vibe from him and like he didn't
like he didn't want to do this
but his brother he was
really close with his brother because
they were not close with their
father. He seemed a little bit
older
than what we were supposed to think he was, but
it seemed like
his brother, his older brother
Riggins played by Scott Eastwood.
Like he had to take care of him still.
Yeah.
So they come up with this idea
and they get their dad involved and he's
he's an OG. He's out there.
he's got his crew running
his little side hustles and everything
but
rigging comes up to brings it to his dad's attention
that there's this
was it a steel
steel plant that
they were making
were they making auto parts or something
yeah they were making
the converters
Cadillac converters
yeah everything that those things
that everyone cutting off people's cars
yeah and they were
melting down platinum
bullion bricks
yes to make
yeah the part
that they needed so
they said that they had like a huge
safe in that metal shop
and
what we can do was going there
get in there and get it
and get out
so and his
dad was kind of like well
how do you know all this
and he had somebody
rigging
had somebody on the inside one of the workers in the steel place and it was kind of letting
them know that hey this is what's here this is the security they were telling them that the
the little platinum bars that they had they were in like this big huge safe but they had a
security system like if something happened this big giant steel cover would just go over
that safe so nobody can get to it.
so their idea was to go in there
uh on and um after hours
uh crack that safe and get it get it all because it was worth like millions and millions
of dollars and they were small little they looked like huge when they first showed them
but when we when when they're uh taking them out they're really small like maybe
like the side little bigger than the size of a um
set tape.
Yeah.
I don't know if you younger listeners know what cassette tapes are, but it was, somebody's
Googling.
Yeah.
It seemed like they were that big and they didn't seem like they were very thick.
So that was their plan.
It was to go in there, get all that, and get paid, and get out.
But while all this was happening, they kept showing news things about the
the Rodney King verdict was there was a the verdict was about to happen like later on in the afternoon
tensions were high for those of you that remember all of that that's uh that was kind of what was
going on in the story so we go back to uh he's only baby boy in my eyes um he's just doing this thing
yeah joady oh man i love what's the name but i hated her in that movie
yeah oh man
i hate you
i'll make you tacos
it's the beat it up dance
yeah to beat it up right dance
i like big rames in that one
yeah he was hell of good
and i like that scene where he
where he walks off
and then he jumps in gets him in a headlock
and first thing jody was like mama
that's right call you mama
he was no joke man
standing there naked cooking bacon
cooking eggs.
It's all about guns and butter.
His mom,
what's her name from House Party?
AJ Johnson. Yeah, she's still
hella fine. She was hell of fine. She was fine at House
Party. She was finer and baby boy.
Because she's into all that
hell stuff. That's why she still
look good. She looks hellily good.
Yep. And a lot of people can agree with me. Black don't
crack. She don't look like
she aged at all.
so but anyway um yeah this is uh we go back to uh to murk and he's doing this thing and this is when he
this is the first scene that that i had seen a clip when he goes into the into the liquor store
he's just going in there trying to buy his juice or whatever and these two little young thugs
come walking in and this is kind of this made me mad because i have seen this before
couple standing there and they were they were getting their groceries or whatever they were buying
and those two guys just came walking in and just pushed that old man aside like watch out man
and then they wanted to get some fillies so they were like they started arguing with the
cashier and uh you don't speak english phillies are you deaf they're yelling at him and they
started cussing and then
Merck comes walking up and like
hey watch your mouth and then one
of them turned around what what did you say
then they walk up and they pull out their guns
on them and they what'd you say
they throw in some
some slang
that
yeah so
and he's like how does this feel
and he sticks a gun up to Merck's
head he goes how does that feel
and he just tells them familiar
that was cold lines
yeah and
he was he
didn't even flints like this wasn't the first time he had a gun that was head and these are two little
young punks maybe early teens but then these two other OGs come running in there hey get the
hell back fall back and they start yelling at him and they're like he goes man listen to me and he goes
what's going on he goes he has fools talking shit and they go you don't know who that is
and he goes that's OG Merck and that while that other guy was talking uh DeVille he was talking to
little young bucks.
The little young guy kind of like looks over at Merck and then he
slaps him. Look at me.
And he goes, if it wasn't for him, you wouldn't be out of doing this.
And Merck just walks up, pays for his juice and then just walks out.
He gets to his car and DeVille and another guy come up like, hey man, what's up?
It's been a minute. I haven't seen you in a while. And he's just like, yeah, I got out
six months ago and I'm just laying low.
doing my thing and they're like all right cool and then he just drives off see that was a great
scene because that in that what less than five minutes scene it told you all you needed to know
about who he used to be yeah and he didn't he didn't play that shit and like i said i've
seen some of this type of stuff before with these these young bucks man they just think they're
just because you're part of a crew they think they think they can do with
they want and everything but i mean each neighborhood's different but it's good to see when the ojs are
there to slap these young bucks but keep them in that place keep them in line so because i thought
i would like i said that was the first clip i'd seen and i thought something was going to go down
like he was just going to end up woping them up in the store but then that other guy dvill comes
walking in so we're back to uh uh rigan dennis and their dad
And they're kind of casing out, case in the joint, case in the building.
And he's kind of letting him know like, well, how do you know this is all in there?
That's the only told him that, yeah, I have somebody on the inside.
And he, Riggins said he goes, I kind of have an idea of where everything is located.
And this is how we're going to get in.
And this is what we're going to do.
So, yeah, he breaks that whole thing down to him, tells them about the safe and all that.
So they're kind of like, all right.
So I figured that's when they're going to do it.
Well, his dad ain't feeling it at first.
Yeah.
There's too much, too many cameras, too much security.
We don't exactly know for 100% where everything is.
Yeah, because he was, because they were telling it was like worth 10 million of those little platinum bars that were in there.
But yeah, his dad.
I mean, he's been around the block a few times.
He knows what he's doing.
And I think Riggin planned this and was bringing his dad in to show him that, this is how I took it.
To show him that, yeah, he can do this.
He can be about this life.
Yeah, they say later on that this is Riggin's score.
Yeah.
So, but yeah, their dad was, Loel or Ray Leota, he was kind of like, no, I'm not feeling this.
I mean, I get it, man.
A big huge steel plant like this.
Yeah, there's tons of stuff in there.
Because it had cameras everywhere, barbed wire fences,
the giant steel gate or whatever.
Yeah, that big wall around the place.
He did a quick look around.
It was like, no, ain't happening.
Yeah, he wasn't feeling it.
So, Merck, this is where he works.
And this is when we're introduced to,
was it yeah Joseph or yeah he's the the main security guard in the whole place and we see that
they're friends because they're kind of joking around and everything and
Joe seems to be he was an ex-cop so he kind of he left the force because of basically
racism within the police force and that's what was going
on with the whole verdict thing.
Because he did say, because look,
because Merkel's kind of like, I see all these
accommodations on the wall and pictures of you
in a uniform. And he's like, that's
what I used to do. And when
they're watching the news and they're talking about
the officers and he goes, that was the reason
why I left the force because there's too much
of that going on. And he didn't
want to be a part of any of that.
So that's why he left the force.
And now he's just head of security.
security in this metal shop.
Well, he seemed to run some kind of
program because that's how
Mercer got his job
there.
Yeah, he was
he left, he left the force
and yeah, he started his own
little mentorship. That's how
I kind of took it. Yeah.
Because he was bringing and he was helping cons
that wanted to
get back into
the real world and try to do something right with their
life and start working.
but yeah they seem like they have known each other for a while so he was really cool with it so
another work goes on but then all of a sudden this is when the the verdict is announced
and we find out that uh the officers were uh the jury announced them not guilty for i don't even
remember what it was for i mean attempted murder or all the charges that they they
had on it. They just basically, I know
one charge stuck, but the majority
of the one, the ones that they counted,
they said, no, they, they weren't
guilt. They were all
all not guilty except for one
charge, what they were, they were dead
locked on. So there was no
verdict on one charge.
So
then, then all hell
breaks loose.
How much older than you? Do you remember
when all that was going on, when all that happened?
I remember when it was
happening, but I had to have someone
explaining to me, because I was like
12 when it happened.
I was at work
when all this
all broke down.
I heard that
the verdict
I was like, oh man,
so I turned on the news,
and then I just started to see
what was going on
in L.A. and all
that was happening when
the riot started and
everybody just
basically just wrecking their neighborhood
and then it slowly started to
trickle around to other cities
because it happened in San Francisco
it happened in Oakland and it was happening in Berkeley
were just riots in the streets
I remember hearing
I remember because I worked upstairs in this building
and I went up onto the roof
and I could see all the hell
helicopters flying around and you can just hear all the sirens of what was going on.
I couldn't actually see anything.
I saw the aftermath because when I drove downtown and all the windows were broken out and stores were looted and everything.
I mean, but a buddy of mine, he was in those areas down in L.A. when it was all happening.
He was telling me, he was like, yeah, man, it was just crazy.
and he was young too and everybody was taking things and all that and they were just like looking
around like damn they didn't know what to do i said were you out there grabbing stuff he said
no he goes i grabbed some stuff but it was like stuff that was laying out in the street he said he
didn't actually go into any of any stores like he was him and his friends were walking around and they
all hell was breaking loose but there was like stuff like everywhere so
he saw it like firsthand and he was telling me all this and yeah he was like when he went
home he was he kind of didn't understand like what what's happening so his his mom had to
explain to him so during this whole scene is when they're showing all the riots going on and
everybody mad because yeah when i when i was sitting there watching it all on tv didn't make me
want to go out there and get all wild but i was mad at what
what was going on.
And what happened.
So I was watching the news in the aftermath of what was going on in L.A.
and what was going on in Oakland and the Bay Area.
So Merck is at work.
And all this is going on.
His son is at home because he told him, look, when school's over, you better go straight
home.
He did kind of tell him, yeah, go straight home because he kind of knew something was going to jump off.
So he said, just go home and stay.
in the house. So his son was in the house. He was watching the news. And then he stuff was jumping off
outside, outside in his neighborhood. And he was just kind of scared. So he just went back in the house.
Riggin and his brother were watching the news and everything. And they can hear all that. And they
were kind of figuring it out what they should do. But then,
Was it their dad that called him and said,
we need to do this now if we're going to do it?
No, it was, he got the phone call from his connect in the building.
Oh, yeah, that's right.
And then he went and told his brother, let's go.
And then he called his dad.
No, he called his dad and then told his brother,
Dad's in, get your stuff, let's go now.
Well, yeah, because at the steel place,
the boss kind of rounded up all.
all's work is that look man
I mean all hell's breaking loose
I'm gonna let you guys go home early so you can be with their families
and just be safe
so everyone was like all right cool so
W boss
yeah
he told them all to go home and everything
and then that's when the dude called
Riggin and said yeah man
no one's gonna be here so if you can do what you're gonna do
get over here so yeah that's when they
got everyone loaded up all their gear
and
Riggin went to go get his buddy
Copeland
so he kind of went to his house
and were introduced to him
and his pregnant wife
and they seem like they have known each other for a long
time so that was kind of a little cool
scene but Merck is
still at work and he kind of goes up
to the main security guy
Joseph and is asking him like hey
do you think
I know it's crazy
out there do you think
I can bring my son
because it'd probably be safer here
because it was like a fortress
there. He goes, it'd be safe.
We'd be more safe here
than at home.
And Jolsa was like,
no, man, but then he's like,
come on, man. He goes, we live in the hood.
And it's right there going on.
He said it's like the belly of the beast.
So it was like, all right.
Well, yeah, get your son
and come back and you guys can just
keep me company. So he's like, all right, man, cool. So
Riggin and all them hook up with their dad. He's got
his little crew, a little Russian dude Titus and the other guy, Murphy,
they go up and they get all the gear that they need, blow torches, this, that,
any tool they can use to break open a safe.
So when Riggin gets there, he sees his dad and he sees the two guys that are
with them. And he's like, we don't need them.
send them home.
But his dad's kind of like,
now, man,
if I'm gonna do this,
I need them.
They're like,
he said,
they're like my security blanket.
Mm-hmm.
And Riggins is like,
well,
this is my score.
And they're like,
no,
I don't give a fuck.
And he goes,
I'm not,
we need them.
So Riggins kind of like just,
oh,
fuck.
All right,
come on.
Let's,
let's do this.
Merck is trying to get to his house,
but he's rolling through
all the chaos.
that's going on in his neighborhood.
People rioting, people looting and everything.
People out there protesting as well.
And he's just trying to slowly get through the streets to get home.
He finally gets to his house and he goes inside and the TV's on but his son's not there.
So he's like, fuck.
So he's like, oh man.
So he leaves, jumps back in his car, starts driving around.
We see more riots.
We see the protesters.
fighting the cops.
Riggin and his crew,
they're trying to drive through this neighborhood
and everybody's out there,
throwing things at their van and all that.
And this is when those guys are starting to talk shit.
I mean,
Riggins kind of like, man, you don't know
what's happening in here.
Yeah, he says, can you blame them
for what they're doing?
Yeah, and
Ray Liotta kind of looks at Copeland.
and was like, hey, he goes, you know,
you know what we're talking about, right?
And Copeland, yeah, he's not agreeing with him,
but he's just like, yeah, whatever you say, boss.
He's just, he doesn't want to get into it with them.
I wish they would have went more into their relationship.
Yeah.
Because it seemed like they had issues from the past.
Ray and Scott Eastwood, Riggins, his friend.
Oh, Copeland.
Yeah.
It seemed like him because the moment they seen each other, they were just kind of eyeing each other like they had a past.
Yeah.
Oh, so back at the steel mill or whatever it is, we see Joe, he's there kind of walking around and we see the security cameras.
And we see that Riggin and those guys pull up to the front door.
And they're acting like they're delivering something.
and the security guards like he comes out and starts talking to him and Rigan like stun guns him in the neck so he kind of falls down so they open up the gate and they start rolling in.
Joseph is kind of just walking around making his rounds.
They finally get inside and they're getting all their gear and they're setting up.
Joe was trying to just get a snack out of the vending machine and then he hears something.
He kind of just looks to his left and all of them are standing there.
again, his brothers, their dad, and the two other guys,
they're all standing there looking at him.
Joe's like slowly like, like, uh, like they're about to have a gun fight.
And he kind of slowly puts his hand on his gun.
And then who was it? Murphy.
He's like the main asshole.
He just bop, whap.
He puts in a couple into Joseph.
And then he falls, he falls down.
But then Riggins kind of like, what the fuck, man?
I said nobody's going to get hurt.
Well, before they shot, Ray Liotta's kind of like, hey, man, look, let's just calm down.
Everything is going to be all right.
And Reagan's like, we don't want anyone hurt.
Let's just, let's just be all right.
Let's be cool.
He goes, we don't want, we don't want no one to hurt.
We all want to go home.
But then that's when Joseph kind of like started reaching for his gun.
And then the other guy, Murphy pulled out his and bach, whap.
shot him up so they're kind of like oh well maybe that we can do now so that's when that when
murphy shot the uh security guard rigan pulled out his gun stuck it in murphy's face and then the
russian guy stuck his gun up to uh riggins head um cope he pulled out his gun he's pointing it at
the everyone's pointing their guns at each other ray's kind of like a low well he's just kind
come on guys calm down dennis rigan's brother just stepped back
and he's he's all nervous and scared and everything so they're all just pointing guns at each other
and they're kind of like all right and rigging he's first of all he didn't like those two guys
mainly murphy so uh the dad kind of stepped look man just fuck it then let's let's just do what you got
to do and get out of here let's get paid so he's kind of mad and he's like this is my deal
and i mean just that's all right let's do this and so they can't
kind of start walking around and figuring things out.
They see where all the security stuff is.
So they got to grab all those tapes because everything is taped and I don't know how many cameras are in there.
Merck is still walking around the streets.
The night, the sun went down.
So he's just walking through the streets trying to find his son.
He comes up on DeVille and his crew and they're like, hey man, what are you doing?
You all right?
And he's like, yeah, man, I'm just looking for my son.
Um, if you, and they're like, I, well, we haven't seen him.
And he's kind of like, here, man, he wanted, he tried to give, uh, DeVille tried to give Merck a gun.
And he's like, nah, I'm good.
I don't, I don't need it.
But DeVille's like, come on, man, you better take this, man.
You need it.
He goes, we need it out here.
And then he's like, nah, I just want to, I just want to find my son, man.
So he kind of just walks off.
And he's still looking around.
And all hell is breaking loose all over the streets.
back at the
at steel place
they finally find the safe
and they immediately start going to work
trying to crack it open.
Back in the street
we see Antoine
he's just
standing on the
he's standing I don't know if
did his friends go into the store
because somebody broke the window
and then everybody started running in there
but but he did it.
He was just standing there
looking at him
looking at everyone going to the store
so he at least had some sense not to go in there
but he looked like more scared and shocked and confused on what was really happening
because he he's just staring looking in at his friends and everyone running in there
grabbing stuff and uh murk comes running up he sees his son he's like come on hey and he just
goes up and grabs him uh then takes off and they're like come on let's go back at the steel place
they got the drills out everyone
they're trying to
get slowly break into the safe
but while this is happening
Joseph which they thought was dead
the security guard he kind of
comes back to life and he's like
oh and then he kind of just slowly
kind of rolls over and he crawls
back into the security office
and then he hits the emergency switch
that slowly starts to bring down
that big metal case
that's going to go over the safe
because the alarms go off
the red lights are flashing
and they're kind of like what the fuck's
happening but then
they look up and they see that big
metal cover slowly
coming down so they're like
oh man what they're going to do
um
Riggins buddy
Copeland he's in charge of the drill
so he's slowly like it's almost there
I'm almost there so he's slowly
trying to get to the thing
Riggin comes hauling ass up with the forklift
So they can stop that big metal
Um
casing coming down
And he's like get out of the way get out of the way
He comes up full speed
Everyone jumps out of the way
Um
Copeland doesn't quite move as fast
He kind of just falls backwards
But instead of jumping out of the way
He just fell
And his foot got stuck
under the wheel of the forklift.
But the forklift got there just in time
to stop
at the two little forks stopped
that big metal case
from coming down.
But Koblen's laying there screaming,
ah!
And they're like, fuck, man, what are we going to do?
And they're like, well,
let's just back it up and let's pull him out.
And Ray Leota's like,
no, man, you can't. You can't pull them out
because look, this is, this is
holding that up. If we pull that
that
forklift back, it's going to come down
and everything. He's like, look, man, his
legs already smashed. We know what we can do about
that. He goes, let's just
He's like, there's two things we can do.
We can leave him there.
Or he can lose the leg.
Yeah.
Did they show, I don't remember,
did they show them
cut his leg?
No.
They just showed, they show
where they dragged him.
Yeah.
And he saw the blood trail, but they never showed him, cut the leg off or pull him until the leg came off.
But he was kind of, I mean, they were like, no, we can't leave him.
And Regan was starting to get mad.
He was ready like, no, fuck that.
Oh, because Murphy walked over to the forklift and was going to, I think he took the keys out of it.
And he's like, God, what the fuck you're doing?
And then he's like, that's his buddy.
And then he's like, now we can't move him.
we got to leave them there so
Copeland
kind of like all right man
you know what just
it's just my leg
let's get this money
yeah because Ray Leota was like
billions of dollars
lose a leg
or lose a leg and
nothing
nothing yeah
but the alarm
they got struck
there's helicopters are flying all over the city
they got a call like hey alarm
went off at whatever
or whatever steel mill
can you go over there
and check it out and they're like all right
we'll do go fly by so they start
flying back over
to the place. Back in the streets
Merck and his son are just
slowly, they can't just haul ass to these streets
because the streets are filled with people
but they're slowly trying to
get back
to the steel place
they just see
all hell breaking loose
and he starts talking to his son.
His son was getting mad.
And I get it.
His son was mad on what was going on.
And he's like, they can't do this to us.
But then Merck is just like how he's taking and doing the dad thing.
Like, no, man, you can't be a part of this.
Let's just get somewhere safe.
And he's telling him, we can't let the cops do this to us.
And he's kind of like just, man, you just need to chill, man.
Everything's at that.
And he's just going off.
Yeah, because he kind of breaks it down for him because he was like, we're burning our own shit down.
And then he was like, no, what about the cops?
And he was like, do you see any cops or ambulance around here right now?
Yeah, they just said now because they were taught.
Then he started telling them about the, he goes, the white people called it the watch riots.
And he goes, but it was an uprising that happened back in the day.
so he yeah he was just trying to just break it down to him
but he's his son was not his son wasn't having it he was mad and he wanted to
get some payback but he's like nah man i just can't can't let you do it
so as they're driving driving around they get pulled over they come up to a police checkpoint
this this part pissed me off so um oh no before that back at the steel place
place,
Lowe L'Oreliota's kind of like,
go find that
alarm and turn it off.
So Titus and Murphy
go walking back up into the control room.
They find the alarm.
They shut it off and then Titus
drops a couple
rounds into
Joseph and he's dead.
Back in the street,
Merck and his son are driving
and they come across a white couple
in their car and some guys ran up and broke their window and trying to rob them at gunpoint
telling them to get out of the car and Merck's looking at him his son is just shocked like what are you
going to do he's like just stay here whatever you do lock the door don't let anybody in so murk walks
over to the guys that are robbing the white couple and then he just boom boom he just brings in the
action and starts taking him down one of them has a gun he kind of walks up
up and then just kicks, kicks one of the other dudes comes walking up. Like, how are you doing? He goes,
get out of here. Some guy comes at him. He blocks his hit. He knocks him out. The other guy that's in the car,
he kicks the door at him. He falls down. Merck knocks him out, takes his gun, tells a couple,
I'm like, get out of here. Here, get in your car and go. And then he's just like, get out. They're
trying to start the car. And he's like, get out of here. So he kind of beats down those guys some more.
He took the gun from him and he just, like, threw it away in the trash.
And then he gets, he gets back in his car.
And his son just got this, like, shocked look in his eyes.
So they just end up hauling ass.
Back into the steel place, they're still trying to break in into the safe slowly.
Yeah, this is when we see their buddy.
He's not where he was.
They cut his leg off, cut his foot off or whatever and drug him over a few feet.
And Dennis is like...
probably use some of those tools.
Oh, yeah.
I'm kind of glad they didn't show that.
That would have been wasting time.
They didn't need to show that.
But we kind of figure out what they were going to do.
Because they'd, yeah, like Ray Sadie, like, look,
man, millions of dollars and lose your foot or nothing.
Lose your foot and have nothing.
So they slowly start to get in and they're like,
all right, we're good.
So they, because they were doing like blow torches and drills and everything.
I guess they weakened the door or whatever it was, and then they broke out.
Was this like plastic explosive?
Because it was some kind of goo that they stuck.
Yeah, I don't know the proper terminology, but I know they stuck detonators in it.
Yeah, they had this like cock gun like thing with this goo stuff that they put in the holes.
And then they stuck little detonate charges in there.
Oh, but before they blew it.
up anything. This is when the police helicopter was hovering over the place and they were like,
turn all the lights off. So they started shutting all the lights that they had on. The helicopter
kind of flies around and then it kind of ravees in. Yeah, everything looks cool here. So they're like,
all right, so they take off. How like that's how they determined there's nothing going on by flying
over it. Yeah, they just looked around. I don't see anything. We're all good. All right. So they take off.
so back they they blow uh they blow the doors or whatever i mean they just
i think they just blew it enough to where like it spreeks their hand in yeah because it didn't
look like it was very big so but back in murker he murk is just still trying to break it down
to what son his son is just pissed off and uh merks just like all right man whatever let's
just let's get here and we'll be safe but this is when they
pull up to a stop by the cops.
They're kind of blocking the road, so they pull them over.
And then the cops just starts giving them shit.
Like, hey, man, he goes, who are you getting me of your license and all this?
And then his son is just sitting there looking mad.
And he's like, okay, I mean, what do we do, officer?
But he gives him his license and his registration.
And then the town was like, yeah, he goes, you're,
there's a curfew.
What are you doing out here?
And he told him, well, I'm going to work.
And they're like, all right.
And they go, well, you need to step out so we can pop the trunk and see if there's any stolen
merchandise in there.
And he's like, I don't have nothing in there, sir.
And this part was fucked up.
This part made me really mad.
A white family pulled up to the stop to where they were.
And they looked at him and just said, all right, you're good.
Go.
and there his
that's what pissed off his son his son started
kind of starting to mouth
mouth off
and uh his dad's like just
come on man just chill and that's when
this is when the cops was like come on get out
so they pull both of them out of the car
um murk kind of just walks over and just puts his hands
on the hood the other officer
grabs his son and throws him on the hood of the car
and they're like uh what's going on
what are you guys doing
And then he's just like, Merck is just doing the yes or no sir thing.
And his son is like, come on, they can't do this to us, man.
They don't have no warrant.
We have rights.
And he's just trying to tell his son to just be quiet.
But then the cops get all scared and pull their guns out.
They handcuff Antoine.
And he's still kind of talking shit.
But Merck is just like, you see in his face that.
other than he's like his son's right there just face down on the hood and he's just like holding back like
other than he's on parole he can't he just got to bite his tongue and just watch it and you could see
that it was hurting him seeing his son go through that being uh just assaulted by the cops
right in front of him and i was just like uh even the second watch i
was like, oh, man.
But they go up, they open up the trunk.
There's nothing in there.
They say, hey, man, everything's all good.
And then the cop's just kind of like, look, you guys better listen to me.
I better not see you again.
And he goes, all right, uncuff him.
All right, you two.
Get the fuck out of here.
So his son's crying because he's just mad.
And Merck just like, he can't do anything.
I mean, I'm sure his son gets it.
And like I said, he's on parole.
He's not doing anything bad.
He's just thinking and trying to save him,
keep him safe and his son safe.
But especially at this time.
And just cops in general.
I tell my kids this.
I said, look, if you ever get pulled over,
do the yes sir, no, sir, or yes, ma'am, no man,
if it's a female officer.
Because they, from experience,
they just assume you're doing dirt.
And a lot of people go,
oh, no, that's not true.
And I always tell them that, look,
just because it doesn't happen to you
doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
Yeah.
So I'm that shit like this, man.
And I know it's a movie, but
that shit's real.
So, and
being with my
homie sometimes, sometimes on my
white friends.
and we get pulled over by cops or harassed by cops.
They treat them.
My white friends totally different than how they treated me.
Like they'll treat me like I did something.
I remember one cop telling my friends,
what are you guys doing with him?
As like, why are you with this dark-skinned guy with long hair?
That's how I took it when he said that.
And I just, you can't do nothing.
You just got to sit there and take it.
And all I had was a skateboard.
They had guns.
so I mean shit like that used to piss me off man
and that's why I always tell my kids man
just
do the yes or no so yes ma'am
no man so you can get out of there
but that's just
just what I'm just from my experiences
of dealing with shit cops
not saying all cops are like that
I have friends that are cops
I have friends that are sheriffs
and they're cool
but it was just some of the ones
in our neighborhood that treated us like shit
treated us all like criminal
Anyway
Get off my soapbox
Back at the
Back at the steel mill
They're slowly breaking in
Into the safe
Dennis
He's sitting there trying to take care of Copeland
He's just
Giving him water
Trying to all right man
Everything's all right
Well we're going to be at a certain
And
And Copa's just like
Oh
He's just you can see
He's like borderline
Getting ready to go in the shock
And
like oh man so dennis kind of just goes and runs to the bathroom to wash all the blood off his
hands uh murk and his son pull up to the uh security gate and they notice that there's no security
guard in there but murk he doesn't know he doesn't go in there and check he walks over and just
types in the code so he can go in so they they roll into the into the place
they don't know shit was going sideways in there so they just kind of rolled in the
there. Anton's like, I need to go to the bathroom, so he kind of points him in the direction.
And when he, Dennis is in the bathroom, so when Anton walks in there, Dennis turns around and pulls
out his gun, and Anton's just standing there like, oh, no. Merck walks around. He goes up to the
security office, and this is when he finds Joseph laying there dead. So he's like, oh, fuck. And
and he doesn't know what's happening.
So he goes back out and he runs around.
He goes over to some just starts digging around.
He finds a gun in one of the drawers.
So he goes out.
And when he walks out of the office,
Titus and Murphy come around the corner and boom, boom,
they start shooting at each other in this hallway.
Merk gets, he catches one in the shoulder.
And then he just runs and hides.
Titus and Murphy are walking around,
looking for him. Merck kind of runs into the bathroom looking for a son. He doesn't see him in there and he's
like, fuck. So he starts looking around. Um, Merck and Titus are looking around for him. They kind of like,
look, hey man, you go this way. I'm going to go that way. So they're looking for him. And
Dennis has, has, uh, Antoine, Merck's son. So he kind of, he kind of walks over back to where his
dad and everybody is. And then his dad turns around Luel, Ray Liotto.
turn out like, who the fuck is this?
I found him
over there.
They're like shit.
And he's like, oh man.
Merk is running around
just trying to get away
while Titus and Murphy are chasing
him around.
So they kind of
just look
and just they hear things so they're just
looking around. It's all dark in there as well.
So they're looking around.
Merck is hiding.
and then all but he's he's running did not know oh um
rigging he goes to to get the van so when he goes back it up murk comes around he
sees uh rigging by the van and then he kind of walks up on him and
knocks him out oh he uh yeah murk was uh closing the van he turns around
Mirk punches Riggin, he falls down, he sees that
Reagan's got a gun in his waistband, he pulls out the gun
and just pistol whips him really quick and knocks him out.
So he walks over to the van, he pops the hood
and pull something out, and then he goes, taking off.
Back, and this is when Dennis came walking up
with Antoine and his dad, like, who the fuck is this?
And then he's like, I don't know.
and then
Llewell is kind of like
he takes his wallet from him
and he's looking at it
and he sees his ID
and says his name
and his address
and oh you're graduating
from Crenshaw High
and he's like yeah
so he's telling him like look
he goes
what are you doing here
and he's like
I'm just looking for my dad
he's a maintenance man here
and he said I tried to go home
but I couldn't
because everything
that was going on. He was saying the bus went down.
He goes, I just
wanted to be with my dad.
So, Lowell's just kind of listening to him.
Back at
some other place spot in here,
Merck has rigging. He has him
like tied up to some post
or rail. And he's kind of telling, what are you guys doing here?
What are you doing here? And then he kind of tells him,
we're just here. But
Merck is kind of like, you guys are trying to rob the place.
So he's like, all right.
And he goes, well, where's my son at?
And he's like, I don't know what the fuck you're talking.
I don't even know who you are.
And then he's just like, well, you guys got my son.
Where is he?
And again, Riggin, he kind of doesn't know.
Mirk pulls out the gun, sticks it in his face.
And he's like, dude, I don't know.
And he's just like, man.
So he doesn't like what he's hearing.
So Mirk just whips him in the face with the gun.
Titus and Murphy are still walking around
trying to find
Merck
Zoh, but back at Lle is still
he's still talking to
Antoine
and up on the roof
is when
Merck kind of gets into it
with them
I guess it to it with Murphy
Oh no no no no not yet not yet
The um, Lle was telling his son, he was like, look, I know who you are.
I know what you look like.
Uh, if you say anything, I'm gonna kill you.
I'm gonna kill your dad.
I'm gonna kill your mom, your dog, everybody in your family.
And he goes, now, go on, get the fuck out of here.
So he's, Antoine gets up and starts walking.
And I mean, he wasn't walking fast enough.
I would have ran, but that's me.
But as he's, as he's walking.
away, Murphy and Titus come like, hey, hey.
And he goes, he goes, where's my son at?
Where?
He goes, I don't know.
And then they assume that that other guys got him.
They said, I think somebody has him.
So Lowe's like, hey, hey, Crenshaw, stop.
And then he kind of stops.
And he goes, get back over here.
So Anton, like, oh, he turns around and walks back over to them.
So Murphy and Titus, they find the.
van. They tried to start it, but it wouldn't start. So Titus kind of opens up the hood. He looks in.
He's like, shit. The ignition rotor is gone. And he's like, we'll fix it. And he goes, I can't.
And he goes, we need to, we need it to start the car. So they're like, oh, fuck. So we're like,
all right. So they start looking around again. The Titus goes back to tell O'L what's going
on. Look, we found the van, but it ain't working. And then he's like telling him they had the
ignition. The ignition rotor is missing.
and well I was like fuck he looks over at antoine and goes looking your old man's doing this and he goes
and he's playing with you why your life so uh you better hope we find him and everything so
murphy is out uh walking around still looking for for murk murk he ends up on the roof
and he sees that a helicopter flying by again so he's running hey he's yelling and yelling
trying to get the helicopter's attention,
but it doesn't see him,
and he's like, fuck.
So just before he can turn around,
Murphy comes up behind him and whap,
hits him in the head, he falls to the ground,
and they start fighting up on the roof.
Merck kicks the gun.
No, Murphy kicks,
Merck's gun out of his hand,
and then he kicks it away.
So he starts just kicking Merck on the ground,
I'm telling him like, where is it?
Where's the, the rotor or whatever?
And he's,
Merk is just laying there, fuck you.
And he's like, come on, man.
He goes, get up.
He sticks the gun to his head.
And then all of a sudden,
or he steps on his hand and everything.
And then Merck just gets mad.
Boom, knocks the gun out of Murphy's hand.
He jumps up and they start struggling and fighting and punching each other.
Merck ends up grabbing a gun.
And then we hear,
We hear gunshots, but we don't see it because we're seeing the guys down by the safe.
And the Llewell's like, ha, ha, you're dad.
You don't have a dad now.
His dad's dead.
And then all of a sudden we hear, push.
And then, ah, we see Murphy's body fall and just falls flat by right where they're at.
And they're like, fuck.
And then he's just, and then we see Merck, he kind of gets up.
We see Riggin back still trying to get out of.
his little tied up thing
but Merck comes walking up on him
pointing the gun just like hey man
what's up man don't be stupid
you guys got my son
and he's telling him look man
he goes my dad's got him so
and this is when he kind of breaks down and tells him
that he doesn't get along with his dad right
yeah
yeah because he
yeah go ahead
I was going to say I think this is the same
yeah because he is telling him
like yeah
um
oh
did he kill
Antoine yet
oh yeah he did
because when
when they were trying to open up the safe and everything
Anton was laying and he was
he was really not Antoine
Copeland he was really kind of making too much noise
and then
Lle just turned around and
ba-pah killed him
shot him up
and this is when Merck was telling
Riggin he's like look man
your dad's a crazy motherfucker
and he's like what and he goes
he goes I just
I just saw your dad
kill some black guy
on the ground in front of my son
and Riggins like what
you're lying and he goes no man
your dad Ruth is he killed him
and he's telling him
he goes yeah man he stuck a gun
to my son's head
and this is when Reagan
kind of just like, he realizes
that this
this is all going sideways
and he hates his dad
but back at
the safe, they got all the little
platinum bars at it and they had
it all loaded up on their
little trolley or whatever
they had. They loaded up all their gear
and
they started dumping
some kind of liquid on. I think they were
going to burn everything, I guess, I assume.
Because they had the security tapes.
They were dumping it on there.
They were going to light it all up.
Dennis kind of sits over by Antoine.
He's kind of just talking to him.
Like, hey, man, be honest with me.
Do you know where my brother's at?
And Antoine, like, he just gives him that look.
Like, I don't know, man.
But he's telling me, like.
Tells him, like, after seeing what your father's
done, I will definitely tell you
where your brother is.
Because he's like, I just
watched your dad kill somebody right in front
of me. So
back in Riggin and Merck,
he's just kind of like, look, man, he goes that
he's not cool
with his dad. We told him, look man, that old
man is my dad.
And then this is when he kind of breaks down
that they just don't have
that relationship.
But he's telling him, look, me, goes, I need
to go because my brother's, my little brother's
down there and I need to protect him.
But Llewell walks up on,
Dennis, is like, what the fuck? What are you guys talking about?
And he's like, oh, well, just trying to get information.
And then Llewell's telling him like, look, man, you need to get something from your dad.
So come on, walk.
So they kind of points the gun at him.
And then they go up to the security office and Llewell is just kind of like,
hey, we got your son.
Let's do a trade.
I'll give you my son for,
I'll give you your son for my son.
And he's listening,
but then he kind of gives the mic to Antoine.
And he's like,
Dad, come on, just come out or they're going to kill me.
And Regan is kind of just shaking his head,
but he's telling him like, look, man, don't trust him.
But Llewell's got a gun pointed at Antoine's face
and telling them like,
Dad, come on, just come out.
And this is when they start talking about.
Let's do a trade.
I'll give you your son.
You give me my son and give me the rotor as well.
So,
Riggins is telling Merck.
He's like, look, man, just do it.
I mean,
either way, he's going to kill you.
He's going to kill your son.
Come on, man.
Let's just try to get out of this.
So Merck is kind of like,
all right.
So they end up untieing his,
untying rigging and then they kind of go up and they walk back over to where the van is and he gives
them the little rotor some small little piece so tightest goes and puts it back in the van to get it
all going and merks start telling all right man he goes well whatever you're doing man i'm going
go fuck just give me my son and and we'll get out of here and then uh rigging's and he's like what
And he kind of tells him like, oh, man, he goes, you give me my son.
But Riggins was kind of straightened up telling him, like, look, man, he goes, it's not going to go the way you want it, man.
He's going to kill you and your son.
So, but before anything, he can really go real bad.
Rigan pulls the gun out and start shooting at Lowe and Titus.
So he's just, whop, he's just shooting.
Everyone's shooting.
Dennis runs up to the back of the van.
He was trying to climb in.
and he caught one.
He caught a stray to the back.
So Riggin runs up, grabs his brother, throws them in back of the van.
Let's go.
Merck and his son jump in the van, and they just start hauling ass down all these hallways of wherever they're at inside this big building.
Titus and Merck are like, or Titus and Lle like, come on, we got to get to the front.
There's more cars up there.
So they run up.
they jumped they jumped in the merks car right yeah and what kind of car was that you know me not knowing cars
that old school something yeah that old mobile or something i don't know a cool nice car
wasn't a catac kind of looked like that car that um uh denzel had in training day
oh uh whatever that is someone's yelled at it so murk and
everyone in the van they're still trying to get get out of this place they get to the front gates they
open it up and uh lowell's like give me my money so he's hauling ass after them and they start hauling ass down
the road and then he's like shoot him so titus is hanging out the window did you do you do you shooting at
the van um rigging is just like come on man you're all right bro and he's like come on we got to
get my brother to the hospital and he's like all right all right man let's just let's just try to get
away and Dennis is like just barely hanging on and then he just he just can't can't hang and he ends up
passing and Riggins just ah he gets he hell of mad he breaks open the door he kicks open the
door and he starts shooting he ends up shooting uh tightus in the head he dies and they're just
hauling ass down the road they kind of go through these like back alleys and then
I mean, I assume they were just going too fast because Merck is like,
ah, he hits another car and then it flips over and rolls.
So everybody's rolling around inside the van.
And they're laying there.
Lowell pulls up.
He gets out of the van.
Dennis is laying there.
He's dead.
Rigan is laying there kind of just face down.
And Llewell just walks up on him.
He, Riggin kind of looks up at his dad and Lle just plugs in.
Yeah, first he tells him I did the best I could.
Yeah.
And then he gives him like, what, like two or three shots?
Yeah, he kills his son.
His oldest son just shoots him dead in the back.
So he ends up dead.
Because, yeah, when he walks up on the van, man, those little platinum plates,
those little bars are just laying all over the place.
Merck and his son are still in the van,
and Merck kind of gets out.
He comes crawling out of the van,
and then Lle's like,
well, you motherfucker, he goes running up on him with his gun,
and he's getting ready to shoot, and goes,
do you know how much this cost me?
And then we hear gunshots,
and then Lowe falls over.
And Antoine picked up somebody's gun
and kills Llewell
and he's just looking shocked
and Mirk kind of gets up and goes over to her son
and gives him a hug and kind of just takes the gun from him
and then we can see that Antoine is just scared
because he's like shaking
but he did it to save his dad
because his dad was out to trying to save him all night
so they kind of just hugged
they get in their car and they just end up
driving off
and his son is just like
crying and
scared and
basically just happy
to be alive
so him
him and his dad
just kind of drive off
we see the man flipped over that
platinum bar picked up
yeah make it a
but
yeah I was thinking that too
but then I was thinking
oh he's got some shit to explain
yeah where do you take that
to hey I got this
how much
I assume
Ray Leota and his crew
man from doing dirt
they got the connections
to where they could
Oh I mean
He's got some shit to explain at work
Because they never destroyed those tapes
Well they dumped
Whatever that liquid was all over it
So I assume that
Aided up
Hopefully
Yeah I don't know
But yeah
Merck and his son
Get into the car
And he drives off
And they dedicated this film
to in loving memory of our friend
Ray Leota
so but yeah man this was a good movie
I know we spoiled the whole thing
but it was good
there was a lot of good points
and what was being said
going on in the film
the acting was
good I thought everyone did their part
Tyrese
Ray Leotto's he's just amazing
Scott Eastwood
lover mehate him
I'm a huge fan of his dad
I still want that
younger years of
Harry Callahan because
Scott Eastwood could do it
I mean he looks just like his dad
so but I don't know if anyone else
is thinking that but I thought everyone
was good the two bad guys Murphy
being the asshole
Titus was just the muscle
he didn't seem like he didn't do anything
to be an asshole.
He was just following orders
and everything.
So I liked it.
The, the,
Merck and his son
trying to
teach his son right,
the love they have.
And then we see Riggin
and his dad
on how they don't really get along
or like each other.
And Dennis seemed to be in the middle
because he, when he goes up and sees his dad,
first he's like oh hey dad and gives him a hug and all that i think dennis was in the middle trying
to bring his brother and his dad back back together but no he's seen too much and he just doesn't
trust his dad at all yeah and then his buddies did he hung out what he didn't care for them so
but i thought this movie was really good um you guys haven't seen it and you don't mind us
spoiling the whole thing for you.
