It's an absolute pleasure to connect with you guys through the water cooler of content and conversation, the number one media platform in Charlottesville, Almore County, and across Central Virginia. And our margin of victory and first place stature is sizable. It's absolutely sizable. There's a lot we've got to cover on the program today. And the topic matter on today's program is uncomfortable, in regards to Mike Sweeney and these alleged sexual assaults of children on grounds at Almar County Public School System within the Almore County Public School System. The most damning thing, one of the most damning things, I'm really going to choose my words carefully on today's program. One of the most damning things that came up yesterday in a bond hearing, the chief,

Deputy Commonwealth Attorney, W. Lawton Tufts told a court set on the record to a judge, and anyone and everyone who was listening, including multiple media outlets that were present. Hawson, C-Vell right now, CBS19, NBC29, that Alamara County Public Schools and its Title IX report is a report that cannot be trusted. The Almar County Commonwealth's Attorney's Office basically said that Almar County Public Schools cannot be trusted here with how they're handling this Mike Sweeney horror story nightmare. It came up last night in the school board meeting. We will try to unpack this on the program, yours truly and Judah Wickauer, on the show today, with the help of trusted viewers and listeners of this fine and fair talk show. you know, viewers and listeners like Ginny Who and Deep Throat and John Blair and Tom Starchel and Stacey and Logan Wells Calaelo and Carol Thorpe, to name a few, that's not all, but to name a few,

Philip Reese watches and listens to this program. Help us unpack this story. I'm asking you today for help. This is a nightmare that is unfolding firsthand. And it, clearly is the tip of the iceberg. We'll talk the Sweeney allegations. We have more clarity on them. We will talk on today's show what Almarl County Public Schools has done that we know of. I have to ask the question after Allison Spillman and her last school board meeting last night, She reiterated the fact that she had no idea that this was happening, these child sex assaults at Holly Meade Elementary, until right before they were released to the viewing, to the public, to parents.

We know because Jim Dillon Beck let it slip on a Rob Schilling radio interview that one female school board member knew about this in early 2026. I am now going to ask a very pointed and straightforward question. is that female school board member, Kate a cuff. Kate, a cuff was not present in the, excused herself, excused herself in a recent school board meeting when the school board voted to ask for Matthew Haas's resignation. She abstained. Kate a cuff, when the school board came out of closed session,

and then back to the dais and on the rest. and on the record and demanded Haas's resignation. Kada Koff was not present at the time and Kada Koff in the emergency school board meeting that was held outside

the lane auditorium in a very small room with media present. The same emergency meeting where Allison Spilman announced her resignation Kada Koff was not present. She was participating via Zoom. Is Kada Kuff

the female that Jim Dillenbeck reference knew about this horror story in the early parts of 26 some eight months ago. I want to ask that question on the show. I want to cover on the program today, Allison Spillman's final comments last night. Allison Spillman, in her closing remarks as an elected official in Almaro County, referenced my bet with Judah Wickhauer while on the record. She literally said, our show, our podcast, a bet on whether or not she would cry. Alison Spilleman, at the start of the meeting, when she did not realize the mics were hot, had a conversation with Rebecca Berlin, which hot mics picked up, and she said, I know, I know, I'm not supposed to cry.

I'm not going to cry. Okay. I'm going to ask the question, did she cry yesterday on the show today? We'll also talk restaurant news. It's important to talk everything in and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, anything Charlottesville New Cycle related. And I think this is a happy story. Thank God, this is a happy story. Thank God for Daniel Kaufman. Daniel Kaufman is opening his third restaurant, ladies and gentlemen. This is the man made famous by public fish and oyster. This is the man

that opened Black Cow Chop House, across from public, fantastic steakhouse. And this is the man that is now opening Daniel Kaufman the hideaway and the old tonic location. We have a logo we can put on screen. Judah Wiccarra, if you can do us the honors of putting the hideaway logo on screen. Daniel Kaufman and Johnny Garver and Alex Balvest, a long-term public employee, Alex Balvest, are opening the hideaway on Market Street across from the police department in the old tonic location. small plates, raw bar, potentially a late-night scene at the hideaway.

A lot of elements of public fish and oyster at the hideaway. And it makes sense because public fish and oyster probably turns more people away because they don't have seating capacity, probably turns more people away than any other restaurant in central Virginia. You talk about one restaurant in a 300,000 person roughly region, we call central Virginia that turns the most people away probably public fish and oyster the hideaway is the new eatery it's in the old tonic location it's also in an in an alan kajin owned property all of daniel's businesses public black cow and now the hideaway are leased uh or in buildings

owned by by coastal attorney alan kajeen who's a tremendous tremendous fan of the I Love Seville show, an attorney that's got leases so thick that the Old and New Testament are jealous. That's how thick his leases are. But a man who, frankly, if you pay your rent on time, is a A-plus landlord. You don't pay your rent on time and you don't do what your lease says. Today's program is one that I unfortunately have to do and one that frankly makes me, you know, this topic just immoralizes me. this topic is demoralizing,

but we have to talk about what's going on with Mike Sweeney, the Almore County Commonwealth's Attorney's Office, the Almore County Public Schools, their Title IX report, and the fact that a Commonwealth's Attorney's Office, a representative of said office, is basically saying that the Almore County Public Schools cannot be trusted with their Title IX report

on what happened with Mike Sweeney, and I'm still using the word alleged sexual assault. salts that now we know includes him pulling out his penis and allegedly placing it in the hands of elementary age girls showing photos of said private parts to elementary age schoolgirls. And this is the tip of the iceberg. If you remember from school board meetings of recent past, there was a mom that was very vocal that said her black elementary age son was also assaulted by Mike Sweeney. So the report, some of the alleged assaults that were presented by the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office and yesterday's bond hearing, he was denied bond, included mentions of sexual assaults alleged Mike Sweeney on elementary age girls.

We know that there's a mom that. It's already on record that said her son, boy, was also assaulted by Mike Sweetie. So this dossier of alleged criminality and horror is something that is going to continue to rock and ravage our community. I'll start open-edded. Where do you want to begin on this story? What is the storyline here? What is most compelling to you? Well, I think it's telling that the attorney called out the school system and their trustworthiness at the same time, or nearly the same time as we were getting the school board meeting where, I think, rather than focus on what was clearly on everyone's mind, which was still the

the accusations against Sweeney. Instead of that, there was a, I feel, I missed the very beginning, but I watched, I saw all of the, I saw all of the guest comments and the rest of the show. And there was a lot of, you know, there was a lot of self-congratulating, a lot of patting, patting on the back. Like I said, I missed the beginning, but, You know, obviously there was a lot of lifting up the accomplishments of Allison Spillman. And then later on, there was an equity, what was it, anti-racism presentation that was, I had some issues with. like I said, a lot of patting yourself on the back and giving self-congratulation in the midst of

this horrible story about Sweeney and the acts that he's alleged to have committed. Look, here's the storyline, folks. This is the storyline very straightforward and succinctly. The Mike Sweeney sexual assault allegations on elementary age students are horrific. They are going to continue coming to light. They will forever haunt Albemarle County public schools. And the children and parents involved in this will forever be terrorized emotionally, physically, mentally for their existence on this planet. And yesterday's bond hearing, new information was made present. And that was the Admiral County Commonwealth Attorney's Office. through a deputy, through a chief deputy attorney,

W. Lawton Tufts, who on the record in front of a judge, in front of four media platforms, said that the Almore County Public School system cannot be trusted. Yeah. You have an independent, I mean, Almore County Commonwealth's attorney's office

is led by Jim Hingley. Jim Hingley watches and listens to this show on a regular basis. is perhaps he's watching and listening now. I have tremendous respect for Jim Hingley. Jim Hingley is a man of straightforwardness and honesty and integrity and professionalism, a man of experience, two-term commonwealth attorney here in Amarrow County. Yeah.

He is a man that is tested and trusted. And I can assure you, Mr. Hingley, the Commonwealth Attorney of Alamara County, is all over this case. I do not know Chief Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney W. Lawton Tufts from Adam or Eve, but I do know Jim Hingley. I've had beers with Jim Hingley. I've had conversations with Jim Hingley. I've walked the mall with Jim Hingley. I know this man very well. And he's someone who is absolutely going to be a part of this case.

May not be the point of contact that we read about in the media, but I can assure you he's going to be a part of this case. And when a team member that is below the pecking order of Jim Hingley in that office says on the record that the Almorel County Public School System cannot be trusted, that is something, ladies and gentlemen, that is as significant from a rocking, ravaging, riling up our community as the Sweeney allegations themselves. That's not hyperbolic, what I'm saying. What Mike Sweeney has done, allegedly, allegedly is the devil's work. The devil's work that will forever haunt our community.

will forever scar the individuals involved, especially the children. But for a Commonwealth's attorney's office to say that this school system cannot be trusted is a damning effing statement. And that's what happened yesterday. Multiple individuals in the public comment portion of the school board meeting last night brought up these comments to the school board. multiple ones. Philip Reese brought him up.

The chair of the Amarral County Republican Committee who does a hell of a job. For a law office, in a Commonwealth's attorney's office to say the school system cannot be trusted, should, without question, motivate every single Alamara County taxpayer, every single Almaro County taxpayer

to demand that the Amaral County taxpayer to demand that the Amaral County taxpayer, that the Admiral County School Board consider another party for its third-party investigation. The Almera County School Board, if you are just following this story now, has hired a law firm to investigate what happened and these alleged child sexual assaults on grounds at Halle Meade Elementary and maybe Woodbrook Elementary. Who they hired is a law firm that is already actively defending Al Marl County Public Schools in another case.

Who they hired is more friend than neutral third party. Neutral third party. Who they hired is someone that sits shotgun with them as they're in the family minivan driving to Bodo's Bagels or to Mudhouse or to Shannadoa Joe's. Instead of somebody they,

they've never met before that's heading to the same locations. In yesterday's meeting, Alison Spillman, and there's lower thirds you can rotate on screen here, there's three or four of them. Alison Spillman reiterated the fact it was her last meeting that she had no idea of these alleged sexual assaults. She made it crystal clear. You know what? Allison Spillman is a lot of things.

I think Allison Spillman manipulates a motion to curry favor. I think Allison Spillman positioned her children in a school board race to curry favor and then says, oh, my children shouldn't be in the public eye and shouldn't be getting this kind of vitriol. And that's why I'm resigning. Well, Allison, you put them in the public spotlight when you ran and use them to try to beat Meg Bryce in a campaign. You can't have your cake and eat it to. I'm sorry, it doesn't work that way. Okay?

I thought that was extremely disingenuous. I thought what she did with the Ku Klux Klan reference to conservative students at Western Amoral High School and their alliance or their allegiance to the Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk organization, and her labeling them of the Ku Klux Klan is one of the, will be one of the most notorious political missteps in Almaro County history. And it calls a shitstorm for Allison Spillman, the type of collateral damage that is emotional and long-lasting and still to this day is not quantifiable the damage that she has done for herself and loved ones with those KKK comments. Okay?

I'm being extremely straightforward. But I'll tell you what, all those things are true, what I just said, but I believe Allison Spillman had no idea about these things in the beginning of 2026. You called me someone who's a voyeur of human behavior, someone who is an astute studier of human behavior, someone that my whole thing that I do professionally for a living, it's not this talk show, but it's doing deals, it's negotiating with people, sizing people up, talking with them, figuring things out really quickly on body, language, how they're presenting things in ulterior motives and what they really want.

Because one of the primary rules, there's a few very important rules when you're negotiating million-dollar deals, $10 million, $11 million deals, $11 million deals, $12 million, whatever the money amount is. Whoever's on the other side, don't be the first person to speak. Don't be the first to speak. Number two, figure out what the other person wants. And when you figure out what the other person wants, you can basically utilize that to get what you want. You have to size people up constantly. In sizing up Allison Spillman, I'm 100%

confident that Spillman did not know in the first quarter of this year in January, February of this year, about these Mike Sweeney alleged child sexual assault allegations. And we know Jim Dylan Beck, who had another notorious political gaffe by telling Rob Schilling on the record that someone on our school board, a woman, knew about this and didn't tell any of us, didn't tell anyone about it or do anything about it. That was one of the most ridiculous, notorious political errors

that I've ever seen. So, and asking the question, we have to know, lower third on screen, K to Kta Koff, lower third on screen K to Kof, is Kada Koff who knew, ladies and gentlemen, in the beginning of this year of these alleged sexual assault

allegations, because Dillenbeck said Scarlet lettered superintendent, Dr. Matthew Haas told one woman on the board is that now clearly Kada Cuff who knew and why did she do nothing about it? And is Kada Kuff the next person to resign? Because if Kada Kof knew in January and February

of this year, as Jim Dillon Beck said, a female on the board knew, then Kada Kof, you should resign right now. Kada Kof, you watch and listen to this show. Kada Kof, you need to hear what I'm saying. You need to communicate with Almore County taxpayers and Almero County parents immediately Kada Cah.

not through Zoom Kada Kuff, not through a attorney-created statement Kada-Kof, but in authentic and honest, from the heart language. Did you know K-to-Kof about this in the beginning of the year? And if you did, you need to resign now. You need to resign now. Because if this comes out K-to-KF in this third-party report, and if it does not come out in the third party report, then Almaro County School Board is literally pulling the wool over your eyes and is some of the most disingenuous group of people that you could possibly meet.

But Ketakoff, you should be communicating now with the community if you knew that this was going on or not. And I'm being told that she may be watching. You should be communicating Ketikov. She's on the morning show with Jay James and a conversation about rainbows and sunshines. A conversation legitimately about rainbows and sunshines bust out the guitar and sing kumbaya. On the morning show today.

Not a single question asked, did you know about this? Kada cuff. It was flabbergasted. That that was not. not asked. If it's rainbows and suns shines the conversation, immediately after a school board meeting like that and a bond hearing that we had

yesterday afternoon, you turn it off. You turn it off and you switch to a podcast that is actionable and trustworthy and effing real. Kumbaya, rainbows and sun shines after yesterday's school board meeting on the morning show today. and Jim Dylanback, Jim Dylanback, who I had so much hope for,

he watches and listens to the show, so much hope for for Jim Dylan Beck. Sir, you are absolutely disappointing your constituents, parents, and taxpayers. You ran on a platform of accountability and being the dissenting voice and sir, you've done none of that.

The best thing that you have done so far, Jim Dillon Beck, through seven and a half months of your first year, is the political gaffe, a female on this school board knew, and early 2026. It's the best thing you've done. The expectation was different, and that's why you were voted into office. Comments, put them in the feed,

I will relay them live on air on the number one media platform in Charleston, Central Virginia, and it's not even close. And you see why. This is number one. Here's a red carpet walkout for you. as opposed to Jesus, we had a bond hearing yesterday where an independent trustworthy office, the Commonwealth's attorney of Almaro labeled us as untrustworthy. Okay?

I'd kind of like to talk about the the anti-racist presentation that was given last night. You know, I actually liked some of it. I like the idea of teaching teachers to be mindful,

to be aware of what students, you know, which students are participating less, how to keep them, how to keep them, you know, interested, involved, connected. But there's a great deal of what they'd talk about that I question. I question because I don't have a student in school. But it seemed to me that, you know,

you talk about anti-racism. Are there racist teachers in the schools? Is there a, I think my biggest problem was the performative nature of what I was hearing. When it first started out, They talked a lot about which schools had, you know, this school has a 73% rate of... If you want back in, come back in. No, just, I mean...

I'm going to take my time. Okay. I'm done. No, no, go on. Just go on. Go on. What are you saying here? You had issues with the schools with...

They talk about... They talk about which schools. have gone to, so this school has taken our, has read our books or taken our classes, and I don't know how connected they are with the schools. It sounded very much like a, you know, a way to put down schools that aren't, that don't participate enough in these, in these classes or whatever they are. and, you know, if that's part of how the school decides that they want to train teachers, that's wonderful. But, you know, holding against an individual teacher

or staff member that they haven't gone to enough of these classes on their own time seems troublesome to me. Holly Foster is watching the program. She's the Queen of Henrico. Holly Foster, we needed to determine, Holly Foster is a friend of the show. She's covering Judah Wickhauer's action and the prop bet here on the I Love Seville show, would Allison Spillman cry or not?

Allison Spillman, when walking to the dais before the school board meeting yesterday, was caught on hot mics. She did not realize the mics were hot in a conversation with Rebecca Berlin. As the school board meeting was starting, Allison Spillman could be heard saying on hot mics, I know I know I'm not supposed to cry. I know. Then Alison Spillman and her final monologue as school board member,

her final monologue as school board member, reference the I Love Seville Show, our podcast, and our bet on whether or not she would cry or not. She finished her monologue by saying, see, I did not even cry. At that point, I thought, perhaps it was a slam dunk that a $75 bottle of scotch was mine, courtesy of Holly Foster covering Judah Wickhauer's action.

Bob Beard, the Samuel Miller District Representative, then wanted to give Allison Spillman her flowers. Why Bob Beard, who's seven months into his school board term, has very little experience working alongside Allison Spillman, outside of the fact that Allison Spillman dragged the school board into the gutter with the KKK comments. That's the extent of Bob Beard's experience with Smilman.

Bob Beard, the grandpa-like school board member that doesn't have children in schools, actually lives in my neighborhood, and Ivy. Wanted to give Allison Spillman her flowers and roll out a red carpet for her to ballet out the auditorium. perhaps created an emotional turn of events that may have led to spillman spilling tears. The footage from last night's school board meeting, unfortunately, coincidentally, strategically, what's the word, the adverb we're going to choose?

You choose. It's not posted online on YouTube yet. Unfortunately, strategically, coincidentally, by happenstance, has not been posted on YouTube yet. The expectation from the communications office at Almore County Public Schools, which leaves a tremendous amount to be desired, a tremendous amount to be desired

from professionalism, from execution, from understanding basic audio and visual basics, releasing of statements, timeliness. The expectation is that this office, should they choose when they feel like it, who knows, will post a video. video online for the community to watch. Not everyone can watch a school board meeting in real time like I did because it started at 6.30 when people are getting home from work, feeding their

kids, bathing their kids, putting their kids to sleep. And the expectation now in 2026, August, is content is available on demand for us to absorb that content as we see fit. It's called Almaro County Public School Communications Office. It's called effing YouTube. It's called YouTube, dude. So maybe it's online this weekend for us to show on Monday to determine the outcome of the bet. I almost didn't want to talk about the bet today because I feel like it's a level of distasteful, not because I feel bad for Spillman. That's not the reason in any capacity. Why I think it's distasteful is because in yesterday's bond hearing,

the Almar County Commonwealth Attorney's Office said that the school system cannot be trusted. it. That is flabbergasting, horrifying, terrifying that a school system cannot be trusted. And this office, the Cabin Walsh Attorney, and it's important to emphasize that Mike Sweeney is presumed innocent until he is found guilty. I'm saying that on the record. He is presumed innocent until he's found guilty. But this Commonwealth's Attorney's Office is going to conduct a thorough investigation and will prosecute based on facts. They will not take anything at face value.

Any claims that the school may or may not make unless the Commonwealth Attorney's investigation justifies and verifies. the claims. The Commonwealth's Attorney's Office has proven that they will stand up for victims in the case, and they will move forward with prosecution that is careful, detailed, and back with measures of accountability and thoughtfulness. Patrick McAdams is watching the program. He's an Amarillo County Public School product, one of the greatest cross players to matriculate from Almore County Public Schools. A former coach at Almore County Public Schools now has kids in Amarrow County Public Schools. He says, Allison Spilbin mentioned your bet with Judah

in her closing remarks, but Allison Spillman did not mention the bond hearing. The cognitive dissidence is completely off-scale. I'm watching this in real time, and I was floored. I'm like, oh my God, this woman literally just mentioned a prop bet that I had with Judah Wickhauer, with Holly Foster Judy Wickhauer's steakhorse and a $75 bottle of Scotch McAllen 12 in her last statements on school board. What is this woman effing doing? She's not mentioning anything except for herself and the hardship she's faced and why she's quitting and leaving the school system at the most worst time possible. She's quitting. She made it about herself. She made it about her kids, She platformed when she ran and then used the kids as the exit of why she's quitting.

She made it about Judah Wickhauer and me and Holly Foster and a prop bet. And she made it about herself again by saying she didn't know anything about this and she shouldn't have her finger pointed or feel this vitriol. Never once was the statement offered of empathy to the kids that were potentially assaulted, allegedly, by Sweeney or the bond hearing from yesterday. It was appalling. It was an appalling statement, and it was a statement that was read from a piece of paper. So it was premeditated the statement.

It was planned. Comments put them in the feed, and I will relay them, I will relay them live on air. Jessica Wingfield, Lilly is watching the program. Thousands of people are watching the number one platform media in Charlestville and Central Virginia. Jessica Wingfield, Lily, do we have a photo for her? I wonder if Alamore County Public Schools' enrollment numbers drop again this year. And Jessica Winfield, Lily, did not cry during her speech, but she cried when they were praising her with kind words and offering her flowers. We're going to check the video.

And if she did cry when Bob Beer was giving her flowers, I am the first to pay a debt. Holly, did you pay Bob Beard to give Allison Spilleman flowers? Judah's sarcasm right there. Holly lives in Henrico, Bob Beard in the Samuel Miller District. That doesn't mean. Grandpa Beard over there. Okay. But if the video shows that when Bob Beard was giving Allison Spillman his flowers,

I will have a 75, I will have a McAllen 12, 750 on set. We'll crack it and do two finger pores. Hopefully Holly can join us. 100%. Okay. But I will pay it immediately. I want it to show the video. You see it's not, can you confirm?

Yeah. I looked for it myself. It's not on YouTube yet. When the one-shot camera was on Spillman offering her final comments, there was no emotion, and she said, see, I didn't even cry, like the I Love Seville show would do.

And then Bob Beard had some closing thoughts and offered flowers to Allison Spillman. There was no one shot on her. Hard to tell. But if it's even potentially gray area that she was emotional, I will fork up the $75 in the Calum 12. You have my word.

So you agree with Vanessa Parkill, the Queen of Orleansville, that Dillenbeck, it was not a political gaff with the Schilling interview. you. I don't know if it was a chess move. Wait, that was my allusion. That was what I said last week, that Jim Dillonback, is he being strategic here? And by making this one comment, commitment. communicating using his platform, his position to potentially paper the trail that someone on the school board knew about this all long.

Holly Mead, elementary principal Joe McCauley, who has since resigned, papered the trail with an email. This came up in yesterday's bond hearing. He kindly asked more of a suggestion. that Mike Sweeney stopped covering his one window with a poster strategically. Stop closing the doors to his office

to meet with students one-on-one in private. Despite what appears to be clear evidence that he's doing the unconscionable with his pecker. What was the clear evidence? I mean, you read the same thing I did, right? I didn't see anything that made it seem like the principal knew specifically what was going on back there. These allegations stem from between August 2024 to January, 26. The Commonwealth's Attorney's Office noted all four victims came forward before any allegations were made public.

The victims had no connection with each other, neither social nor through family. It was important to emphasize this because sometimes what you get with this is like there's an exact name for it, but like a victim mentality where someone hears about this and then jumps in the mix. What do you mean it's not the same thing? He's getting too close to kids.

The principal told Sweeney to remove posters that were obstructing his, window. In a follow-up email, the principal wrote to Sweeney, being aware of one's own self in space in close quarters is guidance that's good for everyone so is not to accidentally make anyone uncomfortable. Sadly, those words are so perfect that Hollywood would reject them in a script. Any director would say, no, that's too unbelievable. That exchange couldn't actually happen in real life and no action be taken. No viewer would believe that no action would be taken after that exchange.
