Starting point is 00:00:07 Welcome to the I Love Seville Show, guys. My name is Jerry Miller, and thank you kindly for joining us. This is the water cooler of content and conversation for anything and everything in Charlottesville, Almore County across Central Virginia, the Commonwealth, the country, and the world. Today's program discusses even more collateral damage of the Mike Sweeney Child Sex scandal. On yesterday's show, the Monday edition of our program, we demanded on this platform that Almore County Public Schools, and the Almore County School Board relieve Joe McCauley, the principal of Hollimede Elementary School, of his duties. Within four hours of yesterday's show finishing,
Starting point is 00:00:53 Joe McCauley was relieved of his responsibilities as principal at Hollimede Elementary School. He is on administrative leave. I will once again put that in perspective. On yesterday's program, this platform demanded that Joe McCauley be removed as principal of Hollymead Elementary School and within four hours of our show finishing that happened I'm going to ask this question on the program right now Judy Lee the Admiral
Starting point is 00:01:27 County School Board member that represents the Rivana District I believe you have a photo of Judy Lee Judah Wickhauer her photo on screen this is Judy Lee's district Rivana District Representative Judy Lee, should she resign as a school board member immediately? Judy Lee was at Wednesday's, this past Wednesday's town hall at Holy Meade Elementary. Judy Lee said nothing at the town hall. And with the benefit of hindsight and retrospect, maybe Judy Lee's approach to saying nothing was the best strategy possible because what Matthew Haas said, what Joe McCauley said and what Rebecca Berlin said at this meeting absolutely backfired on all three of them.
Starting point is 00:02:20 So perhaps Judy Lee's silence was the appropriate tactic for this town hall that imploded on ACPS. I have been contacted by a mother who has asked for anonymity and she has indicated to yours truly that she contacted the Admiral County School school board through its catch-can email account, which you can find online. That catch-can account is school board at k-12 al-Morrow.org, and she notified the Al-Morrow School Board of concerns and red flags as that it applies to Mike Sweeney at Hollimede Elementary School and his ability to meet with children at the elementary school and secluded clandestine, private one-on-one settings.
Starting point is 00:03:17 Now we know the social, emotional learning coach, Mike Sweeney, who was not licensed, who had access to a walkie-talkie so he could track the communication of all administrators within the school, Holly Mead, Mike Sweeney, who had a private office that was windowless, cameraless, and had an ability to have its only door locked from the inside. Mike Sweeney, who had a list of the most fragile and vulnerable students at Hollymead Elementary School as the social-emotional learning coach.
Starting point is 00:04:00 Mike Sweeney, who had rumored allegations at his previous school, Woodbrook Elementary, and at the employer before that, a group. poem in Almoreau County. A mother documented her concerns of Mike Sweeney meeting with kids to the Almoreal County School Board and an email set to the
Starting point is 00:04:25 catch can account. Where does that place accountability and culpability on the school board in totality? I was texting yesterday with a school board member. I won't utilize the school board member's name.
Starting point is 00:04:46 The school board member who I will not utilize their name, suggested that I reach out to Rebecca, because this particular school board member was not able to speak on this child sex scandal. Rebecca Berlin is the point of contact for the school board, provided Rebecca Berlin's contact information, and said the school board will put out a new statement very soon with new developments, confirmed that the Alboral County public school lawyers are negotiating with Haas and his attorneys as we speak, but reiterated that Berlin is the point of contact. I'm going to ask straightforward questions on the program today and ask you the viewers and listeners, what is the best path of attack? And remember, on yesterday's
Starting point is 00:05:43 show, we demanded that Joe McCauley resign or be fired. And within four hours of yesterday's show airing, Joe McCauley was put on an administrative leave. We have elected officials watching the program as we speak right now. Here's the first question I have for you. Should Rivana District School Board member Judy Lee resign effective immediately? Should the Almaro County Board of Supervisors hire a third party to conduct their own investigation and audit of Alamara County public schools and what clearly seems to be systemic child predator breeding ground, should Holly Mead Elementary School be closed until the bare minimum Alamaro County Police Department investigation is finalized. Those topics to start the show today, along with 2000 Holiday
Starting point is 00:06:48 Drive, eight months now into purchasing 2000 Holiday Drive, and nothing appears to be of done. Nothing appears to be done. We'll also talk Roebuck getting a $50 million investment from a venture fund and the tavern on the James real estate in downtown Scottsville for sale at $1,500,000. A lot to cover on the broadcast. We'll give some attention to Charlottesville Sanitary Supply and Charlottesville Swimming Pool Company, 62 years in business, Charlottesville Sanitary Supply and its sister business, Charlottesville swimming pool company, anything Mila vacuum-related or vacuum repair, you call Charlottesville Sanitary Supply. Anything cleaning supplies or janitorial supplies, you visit Charlestfulanitary Supply.com or their store on East High Street. And if you're thinking about
Starting point is 00:07:40 building a swimming pool or need a swimming pool cleaned, need a vacuum, need water testing, need a swimming pool cover, a swimming pool shade, you contact Charlottesville swimming pool. You contact Charlottesville swimming pool company and the sister business Charlottesville sanitary supply there's a lot to cover on the broadcast judah woodcower studio camera you have print radio and television watching the program right now juda woodcarver we have Almore county board of supervisors watching the program as we speak as we do elected officials in Charlottesville uh city hall um i would very much encourage someone text and contact Judy lee the Rivana district Almore county school board member because I'm of the opinion that Judy Lee should resign effective immediately.
Starting point is 00:08:28 I ask you the first question, the same question at the start of every show. What compels you the most about today's program, Judah Wickhauer? Well, I'm glad that they got around to placing McCauley on leave. I'm not sure that they went far enough. We also have summer school going on right now. There's a lot to discuss. I don't know if I agree that Judy Lee should resign. I think perhaps the investigation should come first.
Starting point is 00:09:06 But, yeah, this is an interesting story. We have a mother who, off the record, has reached out to me and said, she emailed the school board catch-can email account about Mike Sweeney and the very concerning red flags associated with. with the now jailed social emotional learning coach. Knowing the information that the school board had a paper trail email with a concern, Holly Mead Elementary School mother, you are still of the mindset that Rivana District school board member,
Starting point is 00:09:42 Judy Lee should not resign. I mean, if the entire school board has access to that catch-all email address, why not ask them all to resign? Because Judy Lee is the representative of that, district were Holly Bean. I don't care. If they all have access to that email and they all saw it and they all knew, why do we stop at Judy Lee? Viewers and listeners, should the entire school board resign?
Starting point is 00:10:08 Viewers and listeners, a paper trail with the school board and a concerned mother exists. What does that do? Legal exposure, accountability, class action lawsuit, punitive, and the school board members. I'm not saying I necessarily agree with that. but if we're going on the basis that they have access to that email and they knew what was going on, then we don't stop at Judy Lee. Lower thirds on screen. Four of them should be rotated through.
Starting point is 00:10:47 Hank Martin's photo on screen. Handsome Hank Martin. His take on all this has been very good. Judy Lee and Kada Kuff should absolutely resign. Hank Martin writes. It's Kata Kuff's name as board chair that signed off on the board. the contract that provides Matt Haas, the Golden Parachute, he will receive upon his departure. Also, Kada Cuff recused herself from the vote to ask for resignation, which speaks volumes.
Starting point is 00:11:17 Rest assured, there will be numerous paper trails warning of the caution that has been brewing at Hollimede Elementary School. Should the elementary school be closed until further notice, at least until the police department's investigation is finished? I would tend to say no. They've got the summer school going on. They've got an interim supervisor watching over things, as well as multiple principals from other schools in and out of that place.
Starting point is 00:11:54 I can't imagine that there's a safer place to be for kids right now than that school now that they've started doing a little cleanup, so to speak. Parents, what do you think? Holly Foster is watching in Keswick right now. Jerry, you absolutely called it yesterday with Principal McCauley. Keep up with this, Jerry. He should absolutely be forced to resign. He's been now placed on administrative leave.
Starting point is 00:12:26 Holly Foster watching the program. Carol Thorpe and Vanessa Parkhill watching the program. Elected officials across multiple jurisdictions watching the program right now on the water cooler of content and conversation. I think Holly Meade Elementary School should be absolutely closed until the police department's investigation is finished. Parents deserve to know how many children were sexually assaulted. That number has not been defined.
Starting point is 00:12:53 We have a police department led by an interim police chief right now. She impressed me last Wednesday in the town hall at Hallemede Elementary. The investigation is not close to being completed. Who else is a part of this scandal? Who else was a mandated reporter that did not report what he or she saw as it applied to Mike Sweeney? Ladies and gentlemen, an upper 30s white male was meeting with elementary age students in a windowless, cameraless, sex dungeon, locking the door from the inside, an office that was clandestine with its position within the elementary school.
Starting point is 00:13:40 Are you to tell me that other employees within this elementary school did not have the hair on their back of their neck stand up when watching what played out? Almarl County Board of Supervisors, Judah Wickhauer, the number one line item on their yearly budget is Almore County Public Schools. Should the Almore County Board of Supervisors, conduct its own commission, its own third-party investigation. It's one thing to have the police department investigate.
Starting point is 00:14:10 The police department is looking for criminality and what can be prosecuted. Criminality is one thing, and I'm glad the police department is on it. Gray area of unsafety and gray area of concern is not something the police department is going to investigate. Holly Mead parents and parents across all of Albemarle County public schools deserve to know the gray area of concern and unsafety that the police department will not investigate and communicate or bring light to. Judah Wickhauer, should the Almor County Board of Supervisors commission its own third party to investigate what's going on? You see this at universities all the time, athletic departments, all the time. the time, where they commission law firms. You see this with the federal government all the time. You see this with private practice, corporate America all the time. Independent third parties
Starting point is 00:15:15 commissioned by boards of directors or leadership to figure out what really happened. You saw this with August 11th and August 12th, ladies and gentlemen, here in Charlottesville, Virginia, the darkest days arguably in Charlottesville City history. What happened with Mike Swiney, Mike Sweeney in Almore County Public Schools is arguably the darkest day in Almore County Public, the darkest story in Almore County Public School history. Should the Board of Supervisors condition, commission a third party to investigate an audit what happened? Yeah, I think if that had been the announcement at the meeting last Wednesday, things would have turned out very, very differently. If it had been shown that the school was taking this seriously and that they had given
Starting point is 00:16:04 it some thought and to how to ensure something like this never happens again, there would not have been the outcry that there was. And we may have still had a superintendent and a principal not on leave right now. Mike Pruitt, you were a leader on the Almorel County Board of supervisors, watch and listen. Supervisor Pruitt, Scottsville District, I encourage you from a place of respect to utilize the influence and the leadership and the platform you have to commission a third-party investigation and audit into this child predatory, predatory sex scandal. This, what the Almore County Police Department is going to do is going to do is going to to look for criminality. There is two
Starting point is 00:17:01 story lines here, multiple storylines here, multiple layers to the argument, and criminality is not the only layer of importance here. We need to understand and very transparent, transparent communication. How we got to this situation, staff deserves to know, taxpayers deserve to know, and parents deserve to know. the supervisors that watch this program, this, I encourage you to put on your next agenda
Starting point is 00:17:35 for your next meeting. If not, I encourage you supervisors that are watching and listening to this program to hold a special meeting outside of traditional meeting days and times. You are funding the school system. I'm not saying supervisors, you're accountable in any capacity. I am saying supervisors that it's your gatekeeping,
Starting point is 00:17:58 that funds a school system that allowed 11 children that we know of. And when this is all said and done, it's going to be a hell of a lot more. I hope it's not. To be sexually assaulted by an unlicensed teacher that had a walkie-talkie so he could track communication of administrators and leadership within the hallways he worked within, was given a windowless and cameraless office, and the ability to lock a door from the inside of the office while maintaining a list of the most vulnerable children at the school.
Starting point is 00:18:36 Tom Sturgel is watching the program. He is a Golden Apple Award winner and a retired Alamara County Public School educator. He says Al-Morrow schools had only two options for Joe McCauley. Fire or bury him in a central office position. And he says, Tom Starchel, that without question the entire board should resign. I'm going to ask you, viewers and listeners, this question.
Starting point is 00:19:05 If a mother has contacted me, she's asked for anonymity, and said there is a paper trailed email from her account to the Almore County School Board catchcan email that says she notified the entire board through the catch can email account. K-12 school board at K-12 Almore.org that Mike Sweeney was a potential predator. Where does that position the school board from an accountability in this story?
Starting point is 00:19:39 I think that's what the investigation needs to find out. Almore County Board of Supervisors. Some of you are watching this program. This is what I would like to find out. And this is just one man using some common sense that has a very large following of people. I would like you as a board of supervisors as elected people to give us this clarity.
Starting point is 00:20:01 Commission a third party to investigate the gray area. The police department will do a good job with the criminality. I'd like to know the gray area of how we got here. The police department will not investigate the gray area nor will they transparently communicate with the public about the gray area of unsafety, of a lack of safety. I would like to know the gray area of how a social, emotional learning coach gets hired that's unlicensed, yet has a private office that's cameraless, windowless, and can be locked from the inside.
Starting point is 00:20:36 Ambar County Board of Supervisors, I would like to know how an unlicensed white male in his upper 30s was able to go from Woodbrook Elementary to Holamede Elementary, despite allegations of sexually assaulting children at Woodbrook Elementary, and despite significant rumor mill that existed in a group home before he started working at Almore County Public Schools. I would like to know Almar County Board of Supervisors who provided a mandated report, an official report as an employee of Almore County Public Schools. They're required to do this by the letter of the law. Who did it and who did not do it? I think you're going to find it nearly impossible to figure out who didn't, but I would like to know who did.
Starting point is 00:21:22 where those reports went and who ignored them. Very good. I would like to know how many emails were sent to the school board. I would like to know how many emails were sent to Matthew Haas. I want to know how many emails were sent to Joe McCauley. What's the clear paper trail documentation, the official correspondence number? You don't have to offer the names of who sent it. We will protect the anonymity of the folks involved because these are minors and their families.
Starting point is 00:21:50 but we deserve to know an official count of communication. You are funding the school system. You have the control because you have the purse strings. Taxpayers deserve to do this. And Mike Pruitt, watching the program, you, Mike Pruitt, are the leader here that would go about this. And Mike Pruitt, I want you to hear this that's watching the program. You at one time, Mike Pruitt, wanted to run for Congress. You were surprised when Tom Perryiello jumped in the mix.
Starting point is 00:22:23 Mike Pruitt, you're watching the program. You want to build a stellar professional resume to climb the political totem pole. Mike Pruitt. If you want to be elected to Congress, Mike Pruitt, if you want to be elected to the U.S. Senate, Mike Pruitt, if you want to be an attorney general one day, Mike Pruitt, you can start your political career by building a resume that is around the constable of child safety. You can be the guy who points to, I led the charge of the third-party audit, the third-party investigation of Almore County Public Schools, and I was the leader that uncovered systemic,
Starting point is 00:23:05 systemic child, sex, predatory environment. That is a political career waiting to happen right there, Michael Pruitt. You will be a cross-isiled, beloved. loved politician in that scenario, Mike Pruitt. Because there's nothing more unifying than children when it comes to voting booths. That is a genius move for you right there, Mike Pruitt. And not only is a genius for you personally and politically, it's doing the right thing for the community that you represent as a supervisor.
Starting point is 00:23:46 That's who should lead the charge. The most ambitious of the supervisors, six of them on the board, ladies and gentlemen. Ginny Who watching the program. I understand the legal system has to play out, but it rankles me that these people will still get my money. She's talking about Matthew Haas and the time that's left under his contract. What is it? Viewers and Listeners, June of 2028 his contract runs through? While it's not a ton of money, he still will get paid.
Starting point is 00:24:29 The reality is it's easier for the school system to just pay out Matt Hart. costs and his June of 2028 contract, then to fight him in court. Yeah, probably cheaper. It'll be cheaper. Because over the grand scheme of things, it's a couple hundred grand. For a year, right? Yeah. And he's, I don't know if he'd be getting paid for the entire year, so it may even be less than that.
Starting point is 00:24:52 Right. We're not talking in the grand scheme of things, especially how legal fees add up a boatload of money. Probably the same with Joe McCauley. Yeah. Unfortunately. Okay. and where's the vice principal on this? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:09 Where's the Holly Meade Elementary Vice Principal on all this? That's why we need the investigation. We need to know who was... The Board of Supervisors Commission investigation. This would never come up in the Almore County Police Department investigation. Kimberly Gentry, the assistant principal. Where is she in this? Where's the counselor in this?
Starting point is 00:25:36 How about the folks that refer? teachers to Mike Sweeney, what kind of follow-up did they do to make sure that their most vulnerable students were protected. Don Gathers watching the program. This will not stop at the pseudo-school counselor, the principal, or the superintendent. Other heads will roll as well, and they should. 100% Don Gathers. We agree often on a lot of things, Don Gathers. I sincerely mean that. Tom Starchel, an independent outside investigation should yes be commissioned by the Board of supervisors, by all means, be done immediately. Jeremy Wilson, all involved.
Starting point is 00:26:21 Make them walk the streets of Charlottesville and Almaro County, stigmatized, letting folks know what they've done. Scarlettered for Life from Jeremy Wilson. Malcolm Inch and William McChesney watching the program. Every media outlet in Charlottesville is watching the program right now. Every single one. why has the vice principal not put on an administrative leave? That's a good question.
Starting point is 00:26:58 Hank Martin, the Code of Silence is a behavioral pattern which we first saw with the Alboral High School JV football team, a locker room incident which the I Love Seville show reported upon first. Neither Haas nor the board addressed that tragedy either. Philip Dowell, how will the school board be restructured? However, I do back Jim Dillon Beck, Philip Dow.
Starting point is 00:27:28 No doubt. This from somewhat in power who's asking for anonymity. Jerry, you do not have my permission to mention my name if you bring this up. But I think these should be questions to add to your list. Why was Kate a cuff not present for the board announcement asking Matt Haas to resign? Rumor has that she left the closed session when the board started discussing his resignation. She has been the biggest supporter of Matthew Haas for the past several years. I think it's safe to assume she did.
Starting point is 00:28:01 disagree with the board's decision to ask for his resignation, which is why she likely wasn't there for the closed vote. If she still supports Matthew Haas, should Kate a cuff resigned from the school board? Should Kate a cuff resign? That's a good question. If a mother emailed the entire school board and pointed out that Mike Sweeney was potentially sexually assaulting children, and the school board did nothing in response. where does that leave the school board? That's why we need an investigation.
Starting point is 00:28:39 Where does that leave the school board in your take, in your opinion? In my opinion, we need an investigation because it's not so, it's not like we can, it's not like we can immediately infer that they all opened that email and read the same email and shared it with each other and talked about it and decided not to do anything. Until we have a better understanding of what happened and how that email may or may not have been disseminated. I think we jump to too many conclusions and
Starting point is 00:29:09 we do an injustice to the people on the school board. This from someone in position of power that is asked for anonymity. The Alamara County, and I'm going to read it verbatim, the Almaro County Board of Supervisors has a meeting tomorrow with two public comment time scheduled.
Starting point is 00:29:29 One comment time is at 3 p.m. is at the 3 p.m. segment of the meeting and the other is at the 6 p.m. segment of the meeting. This is the opportunity for parents and others to ask the Almore County Board of Supervisors to commission an investigation. Mike Pruitt watching the program.
Starting point is 00:29:48 I'm referencing Mike Pruitt because I have a lot of respect for this guy, even more respect gained when he came on this show. I think Mike Pruitt is the definition of a leader and courageous. We don't agree on. everything, but it surprised me in our interview that we agree on more stuff that I initially thought. Surprising, more stuff than I initially thought.
Starting point is 00:30:13 I'm respectfully and humbly and kindly asking, Supervisor, Pruitt, tomorrow in the meeting to bring this up, please, sir. The investigation done by the Almaro County Police Department is not enough. criminality, an investigation with criminality is not enough, Supervisor Pruitt, the transparency, the communication from criminality, and that investigation is not enough. We need to understand the entire systemic fallout and breakdown. How does a unlicensed teacher go from Woodbrook Elementary to Hollybead Elementary? How does a paper trail go either covered or forgotten? or disregarded.
Starting point is 00:31:04 What's the role of Haas with the social, emotional learning coaches? How much diligence was done in the background check of Sweeney with rumor mill heavily linking him to this behavior at a group home prior to working for ACPS? Joe McCauley is new to the Admiral County Public School System. What's the allegiance he had to show Matthew Haas because he was new to the school system, newly minted as a principal, knowing that Matthew Haas was the reason that Sweeney got this job during the pandemic,
Starting point is 00:31:43 an idea created by the superintendent's office, the social emotional learning coach. Supervisor Pruitt, this is reeks of systemic collateral damage fallout and breakdown. Your attorney-in-law background is the perfect background for this supervisor Pruitt. And if you want to think about it from just, doing what's best for the community, which I know, sir, you will do, because that's who you are. The other upside for you is what this will do for your political career as you can build a platform as the guy who led the charge to stand up for families and the most vulnerable in our community as you build a congressional resume, sir.
Starting point is 00:32:24 This is a slam dunk for you, Mike Pruitt. And Judy Lee, I've been told, is tied to this program right now. school board member Judy Lee. I would encourage you to offer your resignation immediately. This is your district, Judy Lee. Your political career is now over. This is your district. This is under your watch.
Starting point is 00:32:55 And you did not speak at this past Wednesday's meeting. Either strategic silence or spineless silence. from Judy Lee. And then the final thing, anyone on the Admore County School Board right now, if I were you, I'd be contacting a lawyer. Because a mother that has an email address to your catch-can account
Starting point is 00:33:32 that you all have access to highlighting child predatory sexual behavior on school grounds, call your lawyer. What do they pay like six grand to do this? To do a review? No. to be a school board member a year.
Starting point is 00:34:05 Oh. How much does the Alborough County school board member make per year? Amore County School Board members are, sorry, 16,000. That seems, is that accurate? That's AI right there. I know they look to double their pay. June of 2025, members of the Almore County School Board will begin earning more money on January 1. That was, geez, that was this year. Good God.
Starting point is 00:34:42 On January 1 of this year, the school board members began earning more money. At its meeting on Thursday, the board voted to increase the member salaries for the first time since 2022. According to a release, a majority vote approved a new salary structure and the new annual salary of $16,249.20, up from $7,915. That goes in effect January 1 of this year. on the 1st of January this year, they more than 2x their pet. Yeah. Are we getting more than 2.5, more than 2x return on investment? From the school board members.
Starting point is 00:35:26 I have other topics I need to get to, which really kind of pales in comparison to a effing sex scandal. Conan Owen watching the program, why did they ask cost to resign? Shouldn't they have just come out of close session and said you're fired, or are they too afraid of being labeled MAGA to be that assertive? I think the general consensus is that it would be cheaper to ask him to resign than to, as we said earlier, get into a legal battle. I think it's more strategic. The fact that Haas, out of closed session, they asked Haas to resign,
Starting point is 00:36:09 and he refused immediately, shows that Haas is being strategic of how he handles the resignation because he knows there's a sizable amount of money. Sizeable is relative. We're talking hundreds of thousands of dollars here, not millions, folks. Still, hundreds of thousands of dollars, that he will be paid out. So he had to be strategic about this. To Judas' point, if they asked or demanded that he get fired him or fired him immediately, he would have fought that.
Starting point is 00:36:37 And then they still probably would have had a paid hauss of money and ragged up legal bills and opportunity costs in the meantime. Either way, it's costing us money. I mean, if we call for a review, for an investigation, that's going to cost money. But there's also the question about how this all got pushed to, or at least how this is all taking place at probably the most opportune time for the school. I mean, if this had taken place, imagine if this had taken place a month or two ago while school was still in session. that would have created a lot more chaos than what's happening now.
Starting point is 00:37:19 You have to wonder how much of this was time perfectly. This was time. I mean, and we're not trying to be conspiracy theorist. Right. The story breaks the week after school is out. The Haleemite Town Hall with parents is held the same day of a Haleemmead swim meet. Do you understand the, if you want to fall victim or if you want to pursue a conspiracy theory, why didn't this come out in March
Starting point is 00:37:57 three months after the investigation began? Do you see the concerns that parents had? You waited ACPS to communicate this to us until when school was out, as opposed to this huge, massive six-month window. That's why I had beef with you yesterday, respectful beef, when I said the communication of waiting six months to let parents know that their child was in the elementary school of an alleged sex offender,
Starting point is 00:38:25 child predator, was bullshit. And you said we could step on the investigation. And then the interim police chief said on the record, oh no, Superintendent Huss, you could have let the parents know and it wouldn't have interrupted our investigation. That was my beef with you. There's still a question about dragging someone's name to the mud
Starting point is 00:38:44 when the police haven't filed any charges. I understand discussing things saying, hey, we've got, we've had an issue, we're dealing with it, saying something. And and even more, even more so, the fact that when they, when they do announce to parents, when they do have this meeting, they haven't done, they haven't even seemingly thought about how to prevent this from happening again. Starchel says this, if the Amar County Board of Supervisors does not pick up on what you are laying down, Jerry, with a third party audit or investigation, then that will speak to the Amar County Board of Supervisors their integrity and would be a reason not to vote for any of them should they choose to run for office again. So Stardial is basically saying if the Amor County Board of Supervisors does not do something about this, then that is a reason to never vote for these folks again. That's Tom Stardle's words. Vanessa Parkhill says Does every school Have this position a social emotional Learning coach? Is this position
Starting point is 00:39:55 Still warranted post-COVID If yes Qualifications and procedures Should be reviewed immediately She adds any viewer or listener Do they have any positive interactions With the social emotional learning coach From other schools
Starting point is 00:40:11 This is a comment that's all over the feed Where is Mary McIntyre In the Almaro County Teacher Union Mary McIntyre. Someone tagged Mary McIntyre. Someone tagged the Almaro County Teacher Union. Where's the Almore County Teacher Union in any of this? What is the Almore County Teacher Union called?
Starting point is 00:40:35 Almorow Education, Association. Oh, they got a Wix website. Join the Union Collective Bargaining, a blog. have a leadership page. They're Al- they got a crappy email address. A-L-B-E-D-U Association at
Starting point is 00:41:02 Gmail.com. Al-B-E-U-Association at g-mail.com. Where's the Al-Moreau County Education Association? Where's the teacher union? Why haven't they put out a statement? Why has the Alboral County
Starting point is 00:41:20 Education Association not published a statement in any capacity. Does that not take away from some of the credibility of the Almore County Education Association that a statement hasn't been published in any capacity? And I'm going to tell you right now, if we found out that Mike Sweeney had access to children, Judah, even after the investigation started,
Starting point is 00:41:57 let's say the investigation started on a Monday at 9 a.m. if by Monday at 901 a.m. His walkie-talkie and his access to the elementary school was not revoked. We have a serious problem on our hands. What was the timeline between the investigation starting of Mike Sweeney and his access to the schools? Was there any carryover time? The public deserves to know that.
Starting point is 00:42:25 Yeah. And this really puts in pale comparison some of the other topics we need to talk. about on the show today. Stacey Baker-Pattie is watching the show. His contract, Matthew Hoss's contract signed by a cuff literally states if he resigns out of the threat of termination, he gets 10 months pay. Damn, that's a generous clause from Stacey Baker-Patti. I trust her significantly.
Starting point is 00:42:51 She's never let me down with her comments on this show. She says, Matt Hoss's contract signed by Kate a cuff literally states if Matt Hoss resigns out of the threat of termination, he gets 10 months pay. What a generous clause that is. Yeah, I mean, we were all surprised when the school board, what, a year or so ago, extended this contract a year. It was more than that. It wasn't around when... Right before Meg Bryce. Yeah. Under the cloak of darkness on a non-agenda listed item, the school board with fear that Meg Bryce was going to beat Allison Spillman at the at-large seat said, Jesus, we might have somebody that actually keeps us honest and holds us accountable.
Starting point is 00:43:40 Meg Bryce is not someone that's going to mess around. Let's fast-track Matthew Haas's contract extension. It was very strange. Even Allison Spillman had an issue with that. To her credit. Patrick McAdams on YouTube. Great show, Jerry. I think everyone needs to be fired. The more you look at this, the worse it gets.
Starting point is 00:44:06 I've been thinking about very little besides this because my wife and I have an 8-year-old son and a 3-year-old son. So this very well could have been us. It very well could have been any parent that's watching and listening to this show. And I've been consumed by this storyline. It's a systemic failure.
Starting point is 00:44:27 100%. This is pedophile priest's Roman Catholic church reassigned the priest to a different church that's tied to sexually assaulting of children type storyline. Shuffle them around. Shuffle them around.
Starting point is 00:44:44 Sweep it under the rug and... Hope that time causes it to disappear. Yeah. Terrible. Worst possible reaction, especially when kids are involved. John Blair watching the show. There is so much being said in group chats and social media about this situation. If there is one thing that I believe is necessary, it is this. The school
Starting point is 00:45:05 board should provide a public explanation of the hiring process used for this teacher at Holly Mead and why the teacher left Woodbrook. Right now, that is the single biggest point of controversy and what people want to know from what I'm seeing and hearing. 100%. How does somebody go from Woodbrook Elementary where there's allegations of sexually assaulting children and then go to Holly Mead? Yeah. I mean, and then how do I talk about? talk about the tavern on the James, put the lower third on screen, being for sale, the real estate for $1.5 million. $3,856 square feet, a lot that's 0.4 acres, 280 Valley Street in downtown Scottsville,
Starting point is 00:45:50 turnkey freestanding bar and restaurant in the heart of downtown Scottsville, a commercial grade kitchen, full bar setup, banquet capabilities, patio and ample site parking, $1.5 million. How do I talk about that? I know. How do I talk about the fact that the other lower third on screen? We're at the eight-month marker for 2000 holiday drive. Sam Sanders and City Hall spent $6.2 million on 2000 holiday drive. And in eight months, Dick has been done.
Starting point is 00:46:19 Jack shit's been done in eight months. How do I talk about that? The best thing that's happened to City Hall and Sam Sanders is the Almore County Police, the Almore County Public School Child Sex scandal because it's taken the attention off of them. We have a tent town under Freebridge and now a tent town that's
Starting point is 00:46:39 going to Zero East High Street land the city purchased from Wendell Wood just a short time ago because they wanted to keep an apartment building developed by Bo Carrington from being birthed. So they said let's buy this floodplain land that Wendell Wood has
Starting point is 00:46:57 that used to be the home to the circus, the fair, and let's keep Bo Carrington of 7 development from building an apartment tower on here because of public outcry. Now the city has allowed Zero East High Street to turn
Starting point is 00:47:15 into a heroin white China chasing den where two people have died. They're now providing porter potty's, dumpsters, used heroin needle dispensers, And they're going to put more out there. And they're putting more out there. Businesses over there said there's pounds and pounds of human feces in this area.
Starting point is 00:47:40 In the Rivana water, river. Used heroin needles in the Rivana River. How do we talk about that? How do we talk about Roebuck getting a $50 million investment? Phenomenal company, Robeck. I'm wearing it right now. My favorite brand, Roback. $50 million of venture infusion.
Starting point is 00:48:04 Some of the athletes that are a part of this venture fund are going to be brand ambassadors of Roebuck moving forward. They're investing their money and then serving ambassadors for the brand. It's genius. This is a hometown brand created by Darden graduates that now has global traction and awareness. That just got $50 million. Any other time on any other show,
Starting point is 00:48:29 The lead of the show is Tabern on the James for sale for $1.5 million. The lead of the show is the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority, the CRHA, is being sued for PPP loan fraud. Any other lead of the show, any other time, is the eight-month anniversary of 2000 holiday drive purchase, and the fact that jack shit has been done. The fact that the homeless population is chasing the dragon in tent town on Zero East High Street, land owned by the city. purchased by a developer to prevent development from happening so a tent town where you could chase the dragon could be birthed. Think about this. You can't make this up. Definitely can't. You can't make this up. Stranger than fiction. This is crazy. Any other time that's the lead. But no, it's the horrible storyline of systemic cover-up or systemic allowing
Starting point is 00:49:23 a child sex predator to attack our most vulnerable in our community. And now everyone near or associated to this story light is effing, fearing for their lives. Fearing for their lives right now. I'll close by saying this. Judy Lee, Rybana District School Board member, you should resign effective immediately. The vice principal at Haldimede Elementary, I would consider resigning effective immediately. Almaro County Board of Supervisors, tomorrow you need to announce to the public a commission. third-party audit or investigation of what happened here.
Starting point is 00:50:08 The Amour County School Board, you should lawyer up immediately because I've been contacted by a mom who let you all know that this was going on. Those that work for Matthew Haas as immediate lieutenants, immediate right below him on the hierarchy of professionalism, the assistant superintendent, you should lawyer up immediately. and who was not a mandated reporter here? Who did not serve as a mandated reporter? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:43 Judah Wickhauer, Jerry Miller, the water cooler of content and conversation, the I Love Seville Show.
