It's a pleasure to connect with you guys through the water cooler of content and conversation, folks. The numbers don't lie. This talk show is the most watched and listened to talk show in Charlottesville and Central Virginia. It's live on 27 social media platforms as we speak. And Ms. Thorpe suggested during yesterday's show that we should play Lisa Broadway's comments in this past Thursday school board meeting. She spoke twice Lisa Broadway. She is a special education teacher. And she is the mother of an elementary age student that was sexually assaulted by Mike Sweeney. takes a lot of courage to do what Lisa Broadway did in a school board meeting that is documented in perpetuity digitally and audio and video capacities on YouTube. And certainly now we'll be seen

by a lot of people here through the I Love Seville Network. Lisa Broadway, in the clip we will play with you, play for you shortly, identifies or just explains what her family is going through as her son is in therapy and dealing with the consequences and heartbreaking ramifications of being assaulted on school grounds by an educator that was paid by taxpayers through the Amarro County Public School System. We'll play that clip today. I would encourage you to to text message friends, to call friends, to direct message friends, and let them know that the I Love Seville show is on. Because this is content that it's going to be heartbreaking and heart wrenching,

but it's content that you must watch. We're going to talk on today's show. I'm personally heartbroken there. This is tough for me to do. These shows are difficult for me to do as a parent, as a parent of an eight-year-old. And you're not doing much on that computer, are you? Because you're freezing things up.

Yeah, I'm seeing a little freezing going on. All right. So if there's anything that you're doing on there, we've got to stop. This is difficult for me to do as a parent of a three-year-old and as an eight-year-old. It's difficult for me to do to talk about this stuff. We're also going to talk on the show about hotel occupancy and price points. of hotels during a four-week period of time. Unfortunately, ladies and gentlemen,

both occupancy and hotel price points during the June 14th, what was the window? Was June 14th to 7-1? Is that the window there, J-dubs? Let's see. And not on that computer. This computer here, if you could, please.

That was the screenshot? Okay. and what is that period of time? You're talking about the screenshot? Yeah. We got data from Co-Star of Hotel Occupancy and Price Points for Hotels during a four-week period of time. End of June through early July, and we're going to compare and contrast that data. Ladies and gentlemen, I have it here.

It's June 14th through July 11th, so that should be July 11th on the headlines. The data, Co-Star data, is down. versus the same four-week period of time. And one insider, Roy Van Van Doren, who is, I think, most known for his work as the owner of City Select. Roy Van Doren was also part of that lawsuit, the lawsuit against the zoning code. He is published in an e-newsletter capacity,

the co-star data, which we received today, from another source that we trust, which we will not name, why, just basic metrics of data being down this year versus last year. And he asked this question, how could it be down in Charlottesville, when it's the 250th anniversary of the country, the 50-year anniversary of the downtown mall, multiple fireworks displays across various venues in Charlottesville, the naturalization ceremony,

the tons of civic celebrations at Monticello, and you had a guber, you had a governor of public appearance here as well. How in this period of time is the data for 2026 down verse 2025? And the source who passed this information onto me, not Roy Van Dorn, but the source that passed this on to me, he points directly to some of these policies that City Hall is embodying, these policies that have made downtown one of, some would say, squalor.

You know, and I'm extremely fearful, ladies and gentlemen, as this Rivana River encampment, this tent town is dissolved. As tent town is torn down by the 1st of September, I'm extremely concerned that tent town inhabitants are going to come to downtown Charlottesville. That's where they were before tent town was permitted about a year ago. And speaking of Tentown, this is something that did not make the rundown of headlines. There's a business locally that's talking with the media right now, and it's an event business.

It's called Blue Ridge Event Production. Their headquarters is right next to Tentown. It's proprietor Bill Randall of Blue Ridge Event Production, which is right next to Tentown, has indicated to CBS19 that his business is being riddled with theft. Tentown inhabitants, he has them on video camera, are breaking into his business to funnel and siphon gasoline from vehicles to steal gasoline tanks and to rummage through his business possessions and taking them back to Tentown. Multiple reports with the Charlottesville

Police Department. The Blue Ridge Event Production business has documented. And another headline that we need to get to on the show today is the FIFIL co-op calling out the developer of Cherry Avenue 501 Woodard Properties. Makes no sense to me why the Fifeville Co-op would call out a developer and throw them under the bus. When the co-op wants a grocery store locally, the developer Wooder Properties owns a boatload of real estate in Fifell. That didn't make the rundown. But we'll talk about it on the program today. Jude, I'd love to give some attention to Charlottesville Sanitary Supply and Charlottesville Swimming Pool Company.

They've been in business for almost 63 years now. They're located on East High Street online at Charlottesville Sanitary Supply.com. And their business, whether it's sanitary supply, janitorial needs, vacuum needs, meal of vacuums, bono wood flooring, that's who you contact folks. They offer same-day delivery, free local delivery. and their price points are as good as anyone, as good as anyone. Due to Wickhauer will weave you in, which headlines intrigue you the most today and why? I'm going to have to go with the videos that we've got of this poor woman, Lisa Broadaway,

essentially pleading with the school board to, I mean, I don't even know if there's anything that can be done at this point. She essentially says she'll never trust the school again. And she just, she lays it out. She lays out a pretty grim picture of trying to get help for her son and just basically being ignored by the school system. I want to one more time applaud Carol Thorpe for encouraging us to play this video. Thank you, Carol. And without further ado, we're going to play a video from this past Thursday.

Lisa Broadway, I'll set the stage. then you play three minutes. She's a special needs teacher and her son who she says, Lisa Broadway is a white woman and she says her son, her words, a very dark

skin black boy. I believe she says who is autistic was targeted by Mike Sweeney and sexually assaulted on school grounds. And Lisa Broadway identifies or indicates in this public comment portion of Thursday school board meeting that she notified

the school board and Al Marl County public schools on multiple occasions and years ago with concern about Mike Sweeney and the safety of our children. You now have a documented on the record source who has said, I've papered the trail for years about concern with her child at Atmore County Public Schools. I'll stop talking. Judah Wickhauer, this is news that will, without question, move the needle here in central Virginia. And I have every media outlet watching the program as we speak. Judah Wickhauer in three, two, one. Lisa brought away. I actually have a question first before you start don't start my time yet, hang on. I want to comment on both of them so I'm not sure like do I do it all now or should I come back up?

Come back up, I can. Okay, okay, so I'll just stop. Okay, so I'll stop halfway. Sorry. So this is the public carrying office. This is the policy. Yes, yes. In the spring of 2019, I moved my family a thousand miles.

only for the Alamara Public School. That's it. I wanted my kids to go to the school, and I moved them, thinking that they would have better opportunities. And instead, what I received was, my son has had his entire joy stolen from him. And that is the onus of this entire board, including the ones who won't do me the decency of looking at me. My son has been failed, like I said last time. I have asked the last time for an independent outside investigation into this. I understand that the policy has been created, and I appreciate that.

That is what I asked for. But a policy alone is not going to make me trust any of you with my children ever again. my son cannot go to counseling to process what has happened to him because the minute that door closes, all he sees is Sweeney to take accountability and you can just say what you want, but you are not taking accountability in the correct ways. Multiple accounts from staff and parents have come out since this saying that they have brought their concerns about Sweeney

to the assistant principal of Lippbrook and the principal at Hollymead. time and time again they were ignored. For three years, I made complaints against Mike Sweeney, and I was told that my child was a problem for his arrest that I felt any of my concerns were actually taken seriously, and I can promise you that even at this point, I don't feel like they're being taken as seriously as they should. As both a parent and a special education teacher,

I know that students with disabilities are the most vulnerable population that we can help. They often rely heavily on trusted adults. It doesn't matter. We need to understand how these concerns were evaluated, how they were brought forth to the board or to the superintendent, and who is responsible for none of these things being caught before now. My son, once again, is a black boy, a dark-skinned black boy who wants to be.

a pediatric neurosurgeon with autism. All of those factor into why he was chosen by this man and why it was so easy to keep him with him. And that needs to be understood. All right, that's that's Lisa Broadway. I have I have a hard time even watching that. I don't even I have a hard time even watching that. I just want to take a moment to highlight the courage it would take, as a parent of an elementary age child to go before a school board meeting and basically tell the world that your son was one of the kids that was sexually assaulted. my natural instinct would probably be to you know just to hide and to keep it you know at home

because my natural instinct would be one of heartbreak and almost like you know shame that I allow that to happen because as a parent you're your your child's keeper and your protector So, like, what she did, I think is so courageous. Like, way more courageous than I could have been. I would have been. And I, like, seriously mean that. And then, like, what really broke my heart when she said was, like, when she's, when her son's in close to worst, it's like,

she, like her son, all she, all he sees is, like, this guy, this Sweeney fellow. And that's just horrible. of that and that's like something that's going to, you know, obviously, you know, impact the family and this young man for a really long time. And that's not right. That's terrible. Like we're sending our kids to a school because we think first and foremost the kids will be safe. Like I say this so many times, like the number one rule for a school, the number one thing a school's got to do is just to keep your kids safe. The learning and the teaching and the education is secondary. It's keep your kids safe. They can't learn if they're not safe. Okay? And what Lisa Broadway just did was about as courageous as anything that I've, you know, I've seen.

I want to applaud her for that. I also want to emphasize some important aspects of what she said. She's a special education teacher. Here's a teacher that's speaking. I also want to speak to the timeline. And I need you to jump in here. Like there's a timeline that she said that I think is important. for the viewers and listeners to hear.

Yeah, she moved here in 2019 specifically to bring her kids to the Albemarle County Public Schools. And she's been, she said she's been bringing Sweeney to the attention of the school for the last three years and was continuously told that her child was the problem and not Sweeney.

And, I mean, I can't even imagine. I don't know how much she knew about what was going on while it was going on, but even just to think that something was going on and have the people that you trust, like you said, to, all you're going to do is take care of my kid, make sure my kid is safe. And to be told that, to be told that you're wrong and that your child is a problem, I can't imagine how much that hurts. especially after the fact when you tried so hard. That's, like you said, I don't have kids, so it doesn't hit me as hard, but it's still utterly heartbreaking to think that you couldn't do anything. Yeah, I mean, and the worst part of the story, there's so many worst parts of the story. I mean, I'm going to use my words very carefully here.

Another terrible aspect of the story is he's a social and emotional learning coach that's given of the list of the most vulnerable kids. And that's who he targeted. And this school board, everyone is asking for a third-party investigation. You even now have Katrina Calson and Cree Deeds and Amy Law for Virginia Delegates asking for a third-party investigation. Philip Reese, who's watching the program, the Almore County Republican Committee chair, spoke in this meeting very eloquently and passionately. He has children at Holly Meade Elementary. He implored the board for a third-party investigation.

You know, I think it's going to have to come to this, viewers and listeners. The Almaro County Board of Supervisors, I'm saying Ned Galloway, I'm saying Ann Malick, I'm saying B. Lipisto-Curteley. I'm saying Sally Duncan. I'm saying Mike Pruitt. You know, who am I missing here? Okay. The Almero County Board of Supervisors needs to say,

We are now demanding you school board to do a third-party investigation. We have no influence over the Amarrow County Public Schools except one sizable aspect of influence, and that's we allocate the money to you. How could I forget Fred Missal? The six individuals on the board of supervisors, Mike Bruitt and Malik, Beelham Pistow Cirtley, Fred Missile, Ned Galloway, and Sally Duncan, it's your time to show your character, and it's your time to step up, and it's your time to lead. You control the purse strings.

You allocate the taxpayer money to the school board. That's the only influence you have over public schools. And you now must say this money will be held in escrow. You will not get the allocation until you approve a third-party investigation. And viewers and listeners that are watching this program, the longer the school board waits to approve a third-party investigation, silence says a thousand words is an indication that the almero county school board is some way somehow complicit liable a part of this cover-up this mom Lisa broadway just said since what year she

was saying something is dangerous here for three years she said for three years i've been telling Alamore County Public Schools said something is sketchy, that my kid's not safe, that he's acting a certain way, something is going on. I have another mother that has emailed me, asked for anonymity that has indicated she's emailed the catch can email address for the school board, and has said she's notified the school board that something is wrong. One thing I've learned is you trust a mother's instinct. Mama Bear knows best. I've learned that. I've seen it firsthand. A mom has a connection with a son or daughter that no one else has because the child was inside the mom for nine months. And if the mom is saying something is wrong, something is up, we have to listen. Why is there no third-party investigation? And we have a second clip from, Lisa Broadway that we're going to play here on the water cooler of content

Again, I'm asking again that the applause stops. Lisa Broadaway. This is easier for me to talk about. So I'm talking as a parent who has other children still in ACPS, and as a taxpayer, I'm in the Ryo district, by the way, sorry. I've spent time reviewing ACPS's policies and their budget in the last few weeks, as well as their instructional initiatives.

And there's a question that I kept running into, and it was how do we know that the investments that you guys are making are actually improving anything the kids are doing? We continue to face challenges with academic growth at Alamaral County. And like I said before, I moved my kids here because the school district at the time was one of the best. It is now falling. Teacher burnout, staffing shortages, continued cuts to things that the students actually need. These are all happening while the money is being put into these programs.

They're supposed to replace these people. Now, I did research the programs that Alamaral County pays for, pays a lot. lot for. And 85, I would say, percent of them have absolutely no peer-reviewed evidence showing that they actually help student outcomes. Yet, in favor of these, we have routinely cut student-facing positions. People who are trained and trusted to teach these children much better than a computer. I am not against technology. I think it is powerful. I think it's useful. I think it's useful. I think think that it can be used to help a lot of students, especially in my field. It is not a replacement for me, and it is not a replacement for any other well-educated teacher who knows what they're doing.

A screen cannot de-escalate one of my children. If one of my students is having a crisis, I can't put a screen in front of them. It's not going to do anything. If I don't have an aid because of the continued cuts that the district has made, I'm left there with what, an iPad? Because they're going to do I-XL on it? This is not helping us in any way. So moving forward, I would like if the board would investigate these programs that they are pushing on to teachers,

expecting them to utilize, and yet we are not seeing any kind of benefit from them. So while Albumal is continually facing lowered enrollment rates because people, like myself, have pulled their children to homeschool. We are going to keep having this problem. You cannot continually cut the actual people who want to do this job. I am not a special education teacher for the money. I can tell you that right now. I am in it because I truly care about every single one of these children,

the exact same amount that I care about my own children, and that is why I'm here, because they deserve more. They deserve better. They deserve what we are capable of, and we're not giving that. Thank you very much. Look, and I'm going to close with this topic. I'm going to close with this topic as we have to move on here, 30 minutes into the I Love Seville Show,

with more news to cover here. I'm going to close with this topic by giving you a kind of a timeline over the last year. Over the last year, Admiral County and its school board have asked taxpayers for a quarter of a billion, for a new high school and the northern northern feeder pattern a quarter of a billion dollars for a new high school they've made this ask despite the weldon cooper center clearly stating these are professional folks that do was it demographic science these are data analysts walden cooper and they've said enrollment at almore county public schools is dropping and most of the public schools low

locally or following suit. Yet the school board is asking for $250 million from taxpayers, all within the last year. All within the last year, the Mike Sweeney crisis. All within the last year, an assistant superintendent, Patrick McLaughlin, has been accused of sexual harassment where he finds a photo from 20-some years ago of a colleague, a female colleague at Stanford University while she was a student at Stanford University on the dance team, takes this picture that he somehow finds or grabs or gets a hold of, and makes the wise decision, sarcasm, to put that photo on screen during a group conference multiple times and then give sexual innuendo commentary about his colleague, about his colleague in front of her peers.

Matthew Haas, embattled to say the least, test scores falling, SOL scores falling, enrollment falling, equity grading being prioritized, can't fail a test, multiple times to take it, lowest grade you can get is a 40, a 40%, truancy no longer really prioritized. What the hell is going on here? all while you have one of the most expensive per pupil spends and the entire commonwealth of Virginia. The administrative bloat is fatter than ever, while teachers and TAs and janitors and bus drivers are clawing and fighting for pennies through a strategized teacher union. this is the definition of school and shambles.

I think a big part of the problem is transparency, and that's across the board. That's whether it's transparency in spending, transparency in school policies, teaching policies. Like she said, too many screens, too few TAs, too few student-facing roles. and no transparency in, I mean, this whole debacle, this whole tragedy is an illustration of the lack of transparency. We have no idea who knew what, and that's terrible. Philip Reese watching the program, the chairman of the Almore County Republican Committee. He's left three comments on the show.

I respect Philip Reese. Philip Reese is a friend of mine. He is a reasonable level-headed guy. Philip Reese says it's so sad that even after hearing Miss Broadway's testimony, the school, he's, hold on, Philip Reese's words,

it's so sad that even after hearing Miss Broadway's testimony, the school board went on with their agenda with no changes like business as usual. One of the school board members should have made a motion for an independent investigation right then and there. Philip Reese also says, I spoke up at last Wednesday's Board of Supervisors meeting to call them to recommend to the school board to do an investigation. The entire Board of Supervisors was silent. It's so sad, Jerry. And Philip Reese concludes with this comment,

B. Lepisto-Curtley told me personally in the hallway that it's not her role to recommend to the school board what to do. I was absolutely livid with B. Lepistow-Curtly. Those are Philip Ries's words. Carol Thorpe watching the program. She says Carol Thorpe, her photo on screen. There have been very few occasions when I have been thankful that Matthew, my son, was so low verbal that he could not have participated in meetings with someone like Mike Sweeney during his 12 years in the county special needs and autism programs.

This is absolutely shameful. What is going on?

Someone text message, Jim Dillon Beck, I believe he goes to your church. He does. Jim Dillon Beck, sir, you watch and listen to the show, you email with me. Jim Bill, Dillenbeck, sir, I ask you humbly and respectfully, you must. lead the charge here to make a motion for a third

party investigation. Then we will watch on the record which of your school board members will not support your motion. And if there are school board members that do not back Jim Dylan Begg's motion for a third party

investigation, then you know viewers and listeners, taxpayers, parents. Then you know that there is something to hide. Yeah. There is something that is being hidden here. The school board knows, and they don't want a third party investigating the system

because they are terrified that a third party will uncover something. Yeah. All right. Next headline, Judah Wickhauer. Let us know what the headline is, if you can, please, sir. The church on West Main says that zoning is undemocratic. I was almost appalled by this. I was genuinely appalled by this.

There was a city council meeting. There was a city council meeting last night. The council chambers were packed per usual. Deep Throat put this on my radar. Thank you, Deep Throat. I sincerely appreciate you. I read this in Sean Tubbs' newsletter. The pastor of First Baptist Church on West Main Street,

this is a historically black church on West Main Street, the pastor is Dr. Arthur S. Long Jr. He says on the record that Charlottesville City's zoning is the result of an undemocratic process that made decisions for neighborhoods without consulting them. Many of the folks in council chambers yesterday last night bemoaned the luxury student apartment tower that's coming to Fifeville, the mark. The developer of the mark is the developer that did the standard where Potbelly Sandwich Shop is on West Main Street, across from World of Beard, now Mexicale. There's a big apartment tower there. That same developer is doing the mark in Fifell. Activists in this community demanded that city council re-vote or reconsider their

position for the mark in Fifell. Council said no. City attorney said, if we can't do it, we're not. And now activists are saying that the new zoning ordinance is racist. Okay? I am going to call BS on that. Of all the people that you would call racist. I'm literally going to call BS on that. The entire zoning ordinance was pushed and backed by the same people that are now calling it racist.

the same people that pushed the new zoning ordinance forward that would allow that allowed a luxury student apartment tower and Fifeville to come they pushed it forward because they said loosening zoning ordinances will make

developers more likely to build housing and more housing will stabilize price point. We said, I said, Judah said, John Blair said, deep throat said, anyone and everyone with any kind of common sense except for livable seville and the Gilliken gang,

except for them who led the charge for the new zoning ordinance. We all said that if you do this, the marginalized communities will be targeted for development. That's exactly what's happened. And now the leaders of historically black church are saying that this apartment tower in Fifell is a foul. Penalty, Red card, World Cup reference, Red card, not allowed.

You reap what you. so. This is the bed you've made and now you have to lay in it. Yeah, you have to ask how many of these people were railing against the New Zoni ordinance for the last three years. Not that we're not unsympathetic, but if the only time you cry, Wolf is when your own neighborhood is being affected. It puts up a bit of appall. on your outrage. 100%. The outrage is, what did you call the outrage?

Selective outrage? Selective outrage. I mean, we're looking at selective outrage here. We're all guilty of it, but when it starts popping up in news stories left and right. And if there's someone you need to lash out, it's not counsel.

If there's someone you want to lash out, it's not City Hall, you should lash out to livable Seaville. You should lash out activists to livable Seaville and the Star Hill neighborhoods, the 10th and Page neighborhoods, the Fifeville neighborhood, the prospect neighborhood. This is a result of the lobbying and the propaganda pushed by livable Seville and its co-chairs. That's who you should lash out to. Next headline, Judah Wickhauer.

What is it? Please, sir. Council must keep homeless off downtown mall. Okay, I need to be extremely straightforward here. I'm about to give you some numbers that we're going to put on screen. In fact, why don't we put them on screen now? Roy Van Dorn put these numbers together. Roy Van Dorn is the owner of City Select.

If Juan Diego Wade and Natalie Oshran and Jen Fleischer and Lloyd Snook and Michael Payne don't man up and balls up and put policy in play that you cannot camp or store your possessions in public places, specifically protecting the downtown mall, then these five individuals will have done as significant of a disservice to Charlottesville, Virginia, as any council members I have seen in my 26 years of living here, if they allow

tent town inhabitants to go from the Rivana Trail to the downtown mall, that is, as damning of decision making that I have, that I will have seen in my 26 years of living here. You can't tear down Tett Town without matching policy put into play that prevents public camping and the storage of public possessions. And if they ask city council and city hall, chief conscious in the Charlottesville Police Department, to go into tent down and tear,

it down and clear out Zero East High Street in the area under Free Bridge without giving the police department the backing of policy that you can't camp here or store your possessions here anymore, then they're basically sending the police

department out with no support. They're basically sending the police department out to ask kindly if the people will leave because the police department doesn't have any law through which they can act. This is not the police department's responsibility. The police department is not in the homeless

migration business. And despite what some may think, we don't want the police going and roughing up homeless people. We don't want them... Nor would they. We don't want them arresting homeless people. We don't want them kicking them out of the city. That's not what their job is. And that's not what we want for the homeless population. But the homeless population, can't be allowed to just do whatever they want. If they're doing drugs, if that's the reason they don't want to get help, then they need to do it somewhere else.

I am all for doing whatever we can to help the homeless population. Hand up, not hand out. Yeah. We've been saying it on the show. This is how I started the program. There's a business, Blue Ridge Event Production, that spoke to CBS 19 within the last 24. hours. Its proprietor Bill Randall said his company is dealing with repeated incidents of theft

over the past several months. Vehicles, his vehicles damage, trucks parked at his business, gasoline siphon, gas tank stolen, gas lines cut, anything left around the business potentially stolen. He has them on camera. He's reported them to the police. Do you see what city council has created here. Michael Payne literally said it's a complete and total failure of city council. And I'm asking, I'm imploring, I'm demanding, demanding that Juan Diego Wade, Natalie Oshrin, Lloyd Snook, Michael Payne, and Jen Fleischer. If you tear down tent town on the 1st of September without policy that prevents or outlaws public camping and the storage of public possessions, then all you are doing is sending 80 to 110 town residents to the downtown Mulligan.

Because these folks will not go to 2000 Holiday Drive. They won't. Fist Street extended next to Wegmans. That just traded for $10,692,000, and it has 132 effing hotel rooms. City of Charlottesville buys an office building at 2,000 holiday drive for 6.2 million. They're going to need another 14 million and two to three years from now to get it up to speed and all they're going to get is 80 Coleman sleeping bags, 80 Yeti cups, and maybe $25,500 Dell Compt.

computers is a computer lab and some stackable washer and dryers and maybe some hangout space. $20 million for 2,000 holiday drive. You have an opportunity to buy a hotel for $10,000, $700,000 that has $132.32 rooms, where you could have turned that into a homeless shelter. It's not in the epicenter of traffic, of commerce, of luxury, of hospitality, of hotels, the heartbeat of the city, the downtown mall. It's not on the bypass. It's off the beaten path. Holiday end for $10,000, $700,000, as opposed to this boondoggle at 2000 holiday drive

that's going to run the city, $20 million, and it's going to take years to be built. No, I just kind of not necessarily push back, but I believe you're right about it being boondoggle. But that being said, I think the difference between. between a holiday inn, individual bedrooms, and something like 2000 holiday drive, I believe part of the reason they're only getting 80 beds is because they want to have room for wraparound services. Holiday Inn at Monticello, I used to live at the Villas at Southern Ridge. I used to live at Redfields. I would stop by there from time to time at the restaurant. They have a great bar there. Hotel restaurants have some of the best happy hour specials. ever because no one goes there. I'm like, oh my God, there's $3 effing beers here. It's two minutes from my house in Redfields or the Vils at Southern Ridge. This was when I was in my 20s and early 30s. When I didn't have wife and kids, have a couple of beers, watch the game. Got to know Charlotte,

the bartender over there extremely well. They have a full effing service restaurant. They have a swimming pool. They have laundry services on site. They have a computer lab. They have a lot. They have a lobby, a massive parking lot, 130 hotel rooms. Does that sound like wraparound services? They have a gymnasium. They have a space to work out. A swimming pool. An effing laundromat on site. The city could have paid $10,700,000 for an effing holiday in hotel for their wraparound services and their low barrier shelter. Instead, these numb nuts, are buying a 27,000 square foot office building, need three years to remodel it,

another 14 million of taxpayer dollars, and it's not going to be open for two to three years because four different Blue Ridge Area Coalition for the Homeless, the Haven, the Fffin Patcham, are all fighting for the low-hanging fruit of money to pad their pockets. This is what I'm talking about of financial balfecesan malpractice, malpractice and the leadership that is driving traffic numbers, tourist numbers, down in Charlottesville.
