Welcome to the I Love Sevo Show, guys.
My name is Jerry Miller, and thank you kindly for joining us on the water cooler of content and conversation here in Charlottesville,
Almaral County, across Central Virginia, the Commonwealth of the country in the world.
We encourage you, the viewer, and listener, whatever platform you're watching upon in this show right now is live on 27 of them.
Participate, shape the show, pass along content ideas.
We want to be the water cooler.
We don't want to break the news.
We want to commentary and analyze.
than use. That's what this show is about. Take a look at the screen for today's headlines.
We're going to play video footage, video footage of Allison Spillman's surprising resignation from the
Almore County School Board. This resignation happened on Tuesday. So we're talking about 50 hours ago.
This is video footage that will play for you. Logan Wells Calelo and Malcolm Inge.
Thank you for watching the program and hammering the light button.
bashline, thank you
for liking and sharing the show.
Hammer the like button.
I have a prop bet that I'm going to try to
see if Judah would like to enter.
Allison Spillman has one meeting left this month,
the regularly scheduled school board meeting.
Will Ali Spillman cry?
Yes or no.
A $75 bottle of top shelf scotch.
McCallin 12 is the standard at this studio.
will be the prize. I'm curious if Judah's going to enter this prop bet on the show today.
We'll talk on the program. Sam Sanders, the city manager of Charlottesville, basically the CEO of
Charlottesville, has now priced or giving us a dollar amount of what this Arizona group
will charge taxpayers here in Charlottesville to run a temporary shelter, an emergency shelter at
2000 Holiday Drive. That number is $3 million for 12 months. Three effing million dollars for 12 months.
An Arizona group will charge Charlottesville taxpayers to run an emergency shelter at 2000
Holiday Drive as tent town is being torn down on September 1. And the hope, fingers cross,
goodness gracious, of course that's good governance. Let's cross our fingers, hope and pray that
town tenants will trickle over to 2000 holiday drive in an emergency shelter.
We have a brew-haha brewing.
Judah, a brew-haha is budding and brewing.
Tom Perriello, John McGuire, John McGuire, and Tom Perryiello.
These guys hate each other.
They are now in a heavyweight class for a congressional seat that's extremely important for the future of our nation, the 5th District.
a district larger, ladies and gentlemen,
I mean, I think the fifth district is larger than the state of Rhode Island.
Can you compare the fifth district in size to Rhode Island?
Geographic or?
Geographical size, the territory in the fifth district.
Fifth district size versus Rhode Island size, which is larger.
McGuire, after winning the Republican primary in land side fashion,
immediately in celebrating his victory,
calls Tom Perriello a communist.
A communist.
Tom Perriello is ripping John McGuire left and right.
We'll talk about this budding brouhaha on the I Love Sevo show today.
We will also on the program, ladies and gentlemen,
discuss the second quarter car report that has now been released.
We will talk units sold.
We will talk, ladies and gentlemen, on the program,
What's happening with Price Point on the show today?
Get ready and giddy up.
How about the surprising announcement that Al Morrow County Police Chief Sean Reeves is retiring?
His last day in the job is October 1.
Reeves has been on medical leave since May 8th.
He's effectively forever stepping down on the 1st of October.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have resignations happening left and right in Alamoireau County.
Ali Spillman, now Sean Reeves.
What's going on in Almaro County?
We'll talk about that on the program today.
Also on the show, the Darden School is getting honors yet again.
11 top 10 rankings by the Princeton Review for the UVA Darden School,
the business program that has worldwide street cred.
So much to cover on the program.
This, the water cooler of content and conversation, will give some attention
Judah to Stanley Martin Holmes.
Bing, bam, boom, Stanley Martin Holmes, did you know, has built more than 600 homes over the last
two years in Charlottesville, Alboro, and across Central Virginia.
More than 600 homes.
Stanley Martin Holmes is dedicated to building homes that cater to each person's unique needs
and lifestyles.
High-quality single-family homes.
Town homes, condominiums, design and constructed with innovative techniques.
Stanley Barton Holmes is bringing nearly 50 homes to market in the first.
Fry Springs neighborhood.
Roughly 80 homes to market outside Glenmore at Breezy Hill.
The most significant developer and builder of custom homes in our community is Stanley Martin Holmes.
Studio camera Judah Wickhauer, studio camera for the water cooler content and conversation.
Jimmy Evers, welcome to the broadcast.
Chad Wood, welcome to the broadcast.
William Barnett, welcome to the broadcast.
Congressional candidates, welcome to the broadcast.
Police chief, Kachis, welcome to the broadcast.
viewers and listeners, Don Gathers, Hank Martin, welcome to the broadcast.
City counselors, supervisors, and school board members, welcome to the broadcast.
This appointment content for Central Virginia.
And this man, Judah Wickhauer, recently manicured his beard.
He's wearing his quintessential attire, the button-down shirt with the undershirt.
Ladies, he's single and he's ready to mingle.
Do we have an idea, Judah Wickhauer, of the 5th District,
versus Rhode Island, which territory is larger in size?
I believe the 5th District is bigger than Rhode Island.
Yeah, it's not even close.
I want to believe that...
Go, give us the territory size?
The 5th District is roughly
8 times larger than the entire state of Rhode Island.
Do we have size-wise?
Yeah.
Is it bigger than Delaware?
I believe it's...
The fifth congressional district
covers a total area of about
9,600 square miles.
Yeah.
And Rhode Island covers an area
of about 1,200 square miles.
All right, so let's see,
smallest states
by square miles.
Why I'm going to talk about this is the
budding brouha. Delaware is
2,400 square miles.
The fifth district is
How big?
Over 9,000.
So the 5th District,
Tom Perriello and John McGuire,
are in a budding brouhaha for a congressional seat.
The 5th District is larger,
ladies and gentlemen,
than Rhode Island.
It's larger, ladies and gentlemen,
than Delaware.
It's larger, ladies and gentlemen,
than Connecticut.
The 5th District is larger,
ladies and gentlemen,
than New Hampshire.
And it's larger, ladies and gentlemen,
than New Jersey.
the five smallest states in the Free Union.
Rhode Island is the smallest, Delaware is the second smallest, Connecticut the third, New Jersey the fourth, New Hampshire the fifth.
The five smallest states in the free union are all smaller in size than the congressional fifth district that makes up a very large chunk of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
We have two men, two white men, relatively similar in size, relatively similar in size, relatively
similar in stature.
Two men that would like to
represent the 5th District, and these
guys hate each other's
guts.
Do they? Absolutely despise
each other. John McGuire,
after dominating the Republican
primary, celebrates
he doesn't drink.
He's a retired military man, doesn't drink.
John McGuire, who
often is standing next to
his pickup truck on the side of a road
with a John McGuire
for Congress sign or a thank you sign
calls Tom Perriello a straight-up
communist.
Ladies and gentlemen, those are fighting words in a lot of circles
calling someone a communist.
Tom Perreello is called John McGuire
dangerous and reckless.
We now have a fight
of the nastiest proportions on our hand.
We'll talk about that on the program with Election Day
right around the corner.
Judah Wickhauer,
What tickles your fancy, my friend, of the rundown today?
Is it Allison Spillman crying yet again?
Look, my wife says I have to work on my emotional intelligence.
Judah Wickhauer says, I have to work on my emotional intelligence.
The people that spend the most time with me professionally and personally in my life,
my wife are two boys, Judah Wickhauer.
Two of those people, Judah and my wife, say I need to work on my emotional intelligence.
Zachary, when I brought up emotional, emotional intelligence with him, responded by saying,
he's by saying, can you get me a cookie, dad?
Chips a, is it chips a hoy?
Chocolate chip cookie.
Trey, on the other hand, said this, Dad, you're fine.
Let's go play squash.
He did not say to me.
Trey, that's what he said, Dad, you're fine.
Let's go play squash.
He called you out, didn't he?
No, he didn't.
He did.
Trey did not call me out.
Trey would call me out for a lot of things, but it would not be the emotional intelligence.
You told me once, though, that he did call you out.
on your emotional intelligence after hearing you talk.
Probably after hearing my wife say something to me
about my emotional intelligence.
Look, Alison Spillman, should she be crying on school board?
I mean, how many times has Allison Spillman
cried during a public meeting,
during a school board meeting?
I'm losing track here to the point where she has one meeting left
and we're gonna do a prop bet Judah Wickhauer.
And I really hope you do a prop bet here.
Will Allison Spilman cry her last meeting
in a couple of weeks here on the dais in public capacity,
public forward capacity, or will she not,
a $75 bottle of scotch?
First, we should play the video of her resignation announcement.
This from about 50 hours ago,
do you have that video, Judah?
I do.
This is Allison Spillman, shocking Elmore County by residing,
leaving us all to wonder,
is Ali Spillman, the female school board member
that Dr. Matthew Haas told,
in February of alleged sexual assault on grounds in Almar County Public Schools.
Holly Mead, potentially Woodbrook.
Did she know in February?
Did she do nothing?
And as a result, she resigned because the third party investigative team, a law firm
that is already on the Elmore County payroll, may uncover the fact that she knew as early
as February.
I mean, at this time, are we really worried about what the investigation is going to uncover?
Absolutely.
What?
Are you joking me?
Are you literally saying on a show that's watched by 1,000?
Were you here yesterday when we discussed the fact that it's not really an internal investigation?
I was here yesterday.
It's just a, it's a firm that the school has used before and has defended the school.
And it's actively defending the school, active case right now, defending the school.
So do we really think we're going to get an honest report from them?
Do we really think that any of the board members would be terrified of the results that are going to come from?
Fair points by Judah Wookauer.
I will respectfully push back
if the law firm
that has been hired by Almaro County
does not identify
the female board member who knew
in February of these alleged
sexual assaults at Holly needed Woodbrook Elementary
then that law firm will
jeopardize its brand, its
equity, its credibility, its trust
in perpetuity.
It must know that.
At bare minimum,
good God, at bare minimum,
the community must
know which female school board
member knew in
February that this was going on.
The bet
amongst all of us that follow this closely,
it's either Spilman or a cuff, right?
I think those are the general
that's what people think. That's what we think. That's what we think.
That's what we think. Let's play the Allie Spillman.
This is Ali Spilman. This is the
second to last time she will
represent Almero County. The last
time is later this month at a school board meeting.
There's many that are watching this.
program that say absolutely good riddits. Allie Spillman resigning in shocking fashion. Hat
Tip Carol Thorpe for letting us know that the YouTube video was online and hat tip Judah
Wickauer for finding it before I did. Three goodness let me put my earbuds in. I got to watch
this for the temp time too. I'm going to put my earbuds in judy you're going to be watching here
viewers and listeners tag a friend baby take a friend take a friend right now three
two one. Bob here in Samuel Miller district
Jim Dillandbeck, Raya District.
I'm Allison Spillman.
I'm the at-large representative and chair.
I would like to respectfully ask that I make a quick announcement.
Today I'm announcing that I've made the difficult decision to step down from the Alamaro County School Board.
My final meeting will be next Thursday evening August 13th.
This is not a sudden decision, nor is a reaction to the very few people who have recently demanded the resident.
of this board. I've been considering this transition for months and had originally
intended to step down at the end of the last school year but recent events made that
timing difficult and I chose to remain longer than plan to help support the transition
to our new superintendent. I'm leaving because I feel confident in the job I've done.
I've served this community with integrity, works tirelessly on behalf of our students
and families, and consistently gone above and beyond what this role is required. I'm
really proud of my service on
the work we've accomplished. At the same time, serving on this board has taken a significant
toll on my physical, mental, and emotional health. The personal cost has become untenable. My
children deserve to have me fully present in their lives, and they should not have to endure
hatred, harassment, or criticism because their mother serves in public office. I will continue
to work hard on behalf of our students, staff, families, and school division through my final
meeting next Thursday evening. I intend to finish my service with the same commitment and
dedication I brought to this role from the beginning. Serving on this role on this role has been an
incredible honor and I'm really grateful to the students, families, educators, staff members,
and community members who've trusted me and worked alongside me. I leave knowing that I gave
this position everything I had.
But now it's time for me to focus on my health and more importantly, my family.
Thank you.
Thank you, Ms. Full Much.
Did you guys see the body language in this?
I'm going to ask you a favor.
Can you cue up the final 20 seconds of that video and just show the final 20 seconds without audio?
The only school board member that showed any kind of emotional intelligence-backed body language,
any kind of empathy was Rebecca Berlin, who was sitting immediately next to Allison Spillman.
Bob Beard and Jim Dillon Beck wanted nothing to do with the resignation and the alligator tears.
Judy Lee wanted nothing to do with the alligator tears and the resignation, and neither did,
ladies and gentlemen, Ellen Osborne.
Kada Cuff, shockingly, maybe inexplicably, was connecting via Zoom.
This is the same Kada Cuff who was missing from the Matthew Haas vote that asked for his resignation,
who abstained and then excused herself coming out of close session
when the board announced that they wanted his resignation here.
What the hell are you doing, Katea Cuff?
What are you doing?
Okay.
Can you play the final 20 seconds of the clip?
Is that doable or is that asking the jack of all traits,
the jack of all wits, Judahwick, error,
is that asking too much, sir of you?
It's going to start with sound, but yeah, I can fast forward, I believe.
Okay, without messing up our feed?
No, I'm not going to mess up our feet.
Okay, cue it up.
Tell me when the sound is down.
I'm going to give play by play.
I like to show the final 20 seconds.
20 seconds?
Maybe 30 seconds to the resignation.
The final 30 seconds.
You're talking some of the worst possible video ever
from the Almore County Communications team
for one of the most critically important
school board meetings in a generation.
Tell me where we're ready to go.
I'm ready.
Okay, play it, and then tell me when I can start
doing play by play, and when we're looking at the final 30 seconds here.
Bob Beard, Samuel, Miller District.
Jim Dillon back, right?
The sound is off.
Okay, sound is off.
So they can hear me now.
Is that right?
Yeah.
Okay.
Tell me when they're final 30 seconds.
Go.
Okay, so final 30 seconds is going?
45 seconds.
Okay.
Look at the body language here, viewers and listeners.
Look at Jim Dillonback.
Look at Bob Beard.
Dylan Beck looks completely demoralized and shoulders slumped over it here.
Bob Beard, the Ivy resident, lives in the Wesley neighborhood,
looks like he's dressed to go to Duneer's restaurant.
Gosh, I love Christian Kelly and Duneer's restaurant.
Gosh, I love Fletcher, the bartender at Duner's.
The only one showing compassion to Allison Spillman is Rebecca Berlin,
and I think that's out of necessity because she's sitting next to her.
Alan Osborne is literally looking at her and like,
are you effing crying again, Ali Spillman.
That's what Ellen Osborne is doing right there.
Judy Lee does not want to be there.
Play it again.
The final 20 seconds of the clip.
Look at Judy Lee.
She's thinking about doing a Suduko puzzle right there.
Suduk.
Judy Lee is Sudoku puzzling right now.
Ellen Osborne wants an IPA from James River Brewery, her district.
She's like, what the hell am I doing here?
none of these people
Alamaro County School Board members
want to be in this room
and they've realized they're
representing Almero County
in a capacity where maybe
half this community hates their guts
look at them
look at Dylan Beck
look at Jim Dylanback Judah
I know
does not even acknowledge spillment
in any capacity right there right
What do you mean acknowledge?
He's staring at her.
He's probably looking to see if she actually wrote all this down on a piece of paper.
He's literally like, what are we doing here?
Yeah.
He's like, I did not realize I was signing up for this.
Jim Dillon Beck is like, why did I win this race?
Why did I win this race, Jim Dillenbeck?
You have Tom Starrgil, the Golden Apple Award winner, his photo on screen,
a regular contributor, viewer and listener of the I Love Seville show,
an Almorel County retired teacher
who is straight up calling Jim Dylan Beck out on this program.
Like straight up calling him out on his Facebook page
and the comment section of this show,
basically questioning Dylan Beck.
Bob Beard is just keeping his head down,
staying quiet and said,
get me to Fletcher,
Duna's Restaurant,
the Muscles and a Cocktail.
Please, dear God.
Judy Lee is playing Suduko.
Correct me.
Sudoku.
Alan Osborne wants to go to the bakery in Scottsville.
Kata Cuff strategically has been MIA for most of the year.
Now it's time for a prop bet.
Carol Thorpe, your comments are on deck.
William McChesney, his photo on screen, the mayor of McIntyre,
said the guy school board members are leaning away from her.
I'm going to ask you this question again.
Did Dylan Beck in his interview with Rob Schilling
when he said a female member knew what was going on in February?
Was that a strategic move by Jim Dillenbeck?
It very well could have been.
Was that a strategic move if it was Alice Spillman
that could potentially draw negative attention to Spillman or Kada Cuff
to force them potentially off the board?
Is Jim Dillenbeck that nuanced and forward thinking?
It's a good question.
This is a Netflix documentary.
I can't wait to watch it.
Prop bat Judah Wickhauer, lower third on screen,
Judah Wickhauer.
Carol Thorpe's comments are on deck.
Viewers and listeners, put your comments in the feed.
I will relay them live on air.
It's your time to shine.
You, the viewer, and listener, are the stars of the show.
We want to build the show around your commentary.
This is the water cooler of content and conversation.
We've got a $75 bottle of scotch on the line.
Is Judah Whitcower ready to jump in the mix?
Will Allison Spillman?
It's got to be McCallon, 12, at least.
Will Allison Spillman cry?
Will Ali Spillman cry in her last school board meeting later this month?
I'll even, because I got a lot of gamble to me here, I got a lot of gamble to me.
I'll even say you get to pick which side.
You indicated in the pre-production meeting, you're going with the yes.
History would suggest it's yes.
Good God, if you're going to pick a side, it's probably yes.
I mean, do we really think she's going to talk?
I don't think I'd participate in the prop bed anyways,
because it seems a little bit spiteful and mean-spirited.
Spiteful and mean-spirited?
Seriously.
The spiteful and mean-spirited,
we're talking about an individual that compared Western Ameral High School students
to the Ku Klux Klan.
I've never really been much of a believer.
All right.
Hey, someone else was a, you know what, so I can be too.
What's the Bible say?
Eye for an eye?
Is that really what you think the Bible?
Eye for an eye?
What's the Bible say?
Is that what you think?
What's it say?
What's it say?
Or do I have to be part of the one that were disparaged to go with eye for an eye?
Do I need to be a teenager at Western Ambril High School, T.P.US.
to leverage eye for an eye with my retort.
What's it say?
Verbatim.
You got it in front of you?
The phrase,
I for an eye, Lex Talionis,
appears in the Old Testament,
as a legal standard
for proportional justice,
meaning punishment must fit the crime.
A prop bet on the I Love Seville show
of whether Ali Spillman will cry or not
in her last meeting
is mean and spiteful?
Why did you bring up Eye?
for an eye. I'm saying, look,
she's fighting
words, flexing her keyboard muscles
after one too many white
claws at night, going after
Noah Calfin and T.P. USA
Ku Klux Klan in them. I can't
prop bet her? I never
said that. That's what you said. You said it was mean
and spiteful. I didn't
say that you can't.
Holly Foster will cover your action.
Holly Foster will cover your action.
She says, I'll buy the bottle
of scotch for Judah if he loses the
bet with you, Jerry. She is going to cry for sure, and I'll bet both Judah and you will agree
she will cry. Holly Foster, the Queen of Enrico, who's got the finest of taste, Holly Foster.
She is a champagne, scotch drinking, spa-loving, five-star resort-enjoying, classy, classy,
Holly Foster's. Barbara Becker-Tilly is watching the program. She's laughing out loud. Jerry,
with the big hits Barbara Becker Tilly
in the comments section right there.
Will you allow Holly Foster to cover your action?
If she wants to do that, sure.
Don Gathers is chastising me in the comment section.
So I'll read Don Gathers,
chastising me and rebuking me in the comment section.
I love Don Gathers.
Right now he's number one on our list
of best piece of content in 2026.
Change your shirt because you crapped your pants.
Snookering, Ostrachronomics.
We have the Don Cather's footage yesterday.
I think we did.
It's the best piece of content I've ever seen.
I think we might have gone out on...
Oh, we did go out with the Don Gathers.
That will forever live in infamy on the I Love Seville Show.
Change your shirt because you crapped your pants and snookering and oceanomics.
And what did he call Juan Diego Wade?
He called Juan Diego Wade and Uncle Tom, Don Gathers did.
He called him Signor 2.0 and a Negro Pian.
Yeah, which is an Uncle Tom.
those where Don Gathers his exact words
to the point where Juan Wade said,
excuse me, and then he said it again to him
while looking at him.
It was priceless.
It was the best piece of content ever.
Will you allow Holly Foster to cover your action?
Sure.
Where's your action?
What side of the propette are you taken here?
Spillman cries, yes or no?
Yes.
You say Spilman cries?
I say it's even more likely if she speaks
and even more, more likely,
if somebody touches her back,
as happened. Rebecca Berlin, and Rebecca Berlin touches film as back. That seemed to have set it off.
I did seem to set it off. She probably had it. Now, I don't know. Well, here, I don't know if I fully
believe that they were, that they were alligator tears. Oh, you thought that was authentic?
I think she's genuinely, genuinely, I think she didn't genuinely believe some of this stuff.
Viewers and listeners, you believe Judah's accurate here.
That, uh, that she is the beleaguered one with, you know, now I want to come out,
and say that I do not in any way condone
death threats.
I don't care...
On children? On anyone.
Oh, okay, okay.
I don't care if...
I don't care what Spillman did.
I don't care what her kids did.
I don't care if you don't like the fact
that her kids are trans.
I don't care if her kid murdered a school bus
full of other children.
There's no reason.
There's no excuse for calling in death threats.
Now, that being said, all we have...
is her word. And presumably the police know whether or not these have actually happened.
Okay.
But Judah's taken the side of the prop bet. We've got to move on to the next topic.
I think she believes all this stuff.
Don Gathers is rebuking me and attacking me.
Her tears, I think, were, you know, at least in part real.
I think, and I think, like you said, when she got a little bit of comfort.
When Rebecca Berlin rubbed her upper back.
When Becky Berlin gave her a little this, Spillman got.
That released the spillway.
That opened the spillway.
B. Square did a little this.
Little Becky Berlin did this, and then it really got going here.
All right.
So I'm in the no camp.
I unfortunately, unfortunately wanted to take the yes camp.
So I believe I'm going to lose this prop bet.
but in typical quintessential Jerry fashion
where he's going to try to influence the outcome of future events.
I will utilize this platform from here until the next school board meeting
to drive home this narrative.
Jerry and Judah have a bet Allison Spillman crying
at the next school board meeting.
So if I can use this platform where thousands of people are watching it
to say, will Ali Spilman cry?
Will Ali Spillman cry?
Is she going to cry?
and say this will how she'll forever be remember my hope is i will be able to change future behavior
because the entire community that watches this program will tune in to see if ali spillman cries at her next meeting
and i'll say alison you watch this show this will be part of your digital forever tombstone if you cry
we'll show it on the show okay i am going to try to change her emotional behavior by bringing this up from now until the
to win a $75 bottle of scotch, that Holly Foster is going to cover your action here.
But we will drink it all together.
Holly, if I happen to win, I'll crack it open.
You, me, Judah, would cover.
We should call this Jerry's and Holly's bet.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Because I haven't changed my mind about this being mean-spirited and not really wanting to take...
Okay, Don Gathers.
You're a part of it now.
Don Gathers, says this is mean-spirited.
He's attacking me here.
Don Gathers his photo on screen.
Carol Thorpe and Chad Wood are going after Don Gathers as well.
So we now have 27 social media pages completely dynamic and intertwine right here.
Jason Hampshire, welcome to the program.
Don Gathers says, Jerry, are you really actually making a bet as to whether or not a woman is going to cry?
Wow.
Do better.
Be better.
My God, you sound like a Fox Newscaster.
She's an emotional creature.
Regardless of your view of her politics,
this is over the top, Jerry.
And the words of Nakaya Walker, do better.
Chad Wood said,
Allison Spillman called kids KKK.
Jerry is it the one that needs to do better, Don.
Carol Thorpe says,
Don, you called the mayor of Charlottesville
and Uncle Tom on a live mic
at a city council meeting.
Who needs to do better?
Carol Thorpe, going after Don Gathers in the comments section here.
You got something on, Julia, Care.
No, no.
I'm sure you do Jewelika.
If anybody's seen that image of who is it, it's a director,
and he's got his arms up like this,
and the meme says, pure cinema.
This is, get your popcorn.
I love this.
Grab your popcorn, get your scotch.
A lot is on the line.
Patrick McAnon.
on YouTube says, by Felicia.
By Felicia. Patrick McAdam is one of the finest of the cross players to ever
matriculate throughout Marl County Public Schools. Also says, Spillman will be
in the anger stage of grief by then, so I do not think she will cry.
I think she'll also realize that crocodile teals are not authentic and no one's
buying it. Comments, put them in the feed.
What relay I'm live on air. Deep throat, number one on the family, his photo on screen.
Deep throat. Who has
the emotional intelligence of yours truly
as well. In fact, I think deep throats
emotional intelligence makes me look
like Mother Teresa. And that's
frankly one of the reasons why deep throat is
extremely successful. Deep throat's
extremely successful because his
emotional intelligence makes me look like Mother Teresa.
I sincerely mean this deep throat.
He says,
wow, wow, wow, wah.
Meg Bryce got hit with much more
abuse and you didn't see Meg Bryce
crying. Spillman
seems like an emotional, unstable
person. I actually agree with that.
And then he says,
wow, Allie, don't break your arm, patting yourself
on the back with that
resignation speech.
And then he throws a meme
here on Spillman
leaving that I will enjoy
in
Twitter DM fashion.
Can I see it?
It would be hard to see.
Hold on. I'm in a
here. Who's this?
Deep throat's on screen.
Oh no, oh no. What's this?
Oh, yeah, yeah.
And I think there's a follow-up.
There's usually a follow-up to that.
The first part is him going, oh, no.
And the second part is him going, anyway.
Oh, man.
All right, we're having a little fun.
But you know what?
This is fair fun.
This is fair fun.
I think it's completely within the bounds.
Although Don Gathers says it's not.
Nothing but respect for Don Gathers.
And Deep Throat says, Jeremy Clarkson, oh, no.
Jeremy Clarkson.
Oh, no.
Anyway.
Hammer the like button.
Like and share the show.
Hammer the bike button.
Like and show the show.
All right, we got to go to the next topic, viewers and listeners.
It's the 110 marker, and I have a 130 real estate showing.
Next topic is we have a number now, right?
We know that the temporary shelter at 2000 Holiday Drive is going to, is going to cost us a lot of money as taxpayers.
We know that tent town on the Ribana River will be torn down.
on September 1.
And we know City Hall is going to try to lure or romanticize or encourage the Tentown tenants
who Jen Fleischer and City Council and City Hall said is about 38 people.
We learned that on yesterday's show.
Currently.
38 people are at Tentown currently.
38 tent town tenants currently.
City Hall confirmed to City Council on Monday evening.
38, ladies and gentlemen.
why that number is not being used is absolutely obscene.
The number of hundreds of homeless is used by City Hall and City Council
because if the actual number 38 was used by City Hall and City Council,
we would be having that upchuck in your mouth
after you take a shot of something that you don't like
and you're with your buddies and then you have to swallow it real quick
and hope you don't make a cringe face because you don't want to get embarrassed,
that's what the 38 number is.
Okay, so now we know that they're contracting city hall because no one locally can do it with a group out of Houston, Texas, and a group out of Arizona.
Well, guess what? The group out of Arizona, which looks like they're like the babe roof of the homeless business.
The group out of Arizona is like the LeBron James and the Michael Jordan of the homeless business.
They said, you want our help? It's $3 million for 12 months.
$3 million for 12 months, the Arizona group, to run the 2000 Holiday Drive homeless shelter,
first floor only.
Another interesting wrinkle that came out of this.
Are you ready for this Judah Wickhauer?
Somehow on only the first floor of this 27,000 square foot, brick Georgian office building,
27,000 square feet, only the first floor.
The Arizona group is able to house or provide shelter for 120 homeless.
City Hall, in partnership with Blue Ridge Area Coalition for the Homeless,
Patcham and the Haven, they said we can only get 80 Coleman Cots
and 80 tiny-sized Yeti tumblers for the homeless.
If you contract with us, we need $14 million to build it.
It's not going to be ready for two to three years.
You're going to have to pay it's hundreds of thousands of dollars in perpetuity.
We want to hire staff.
We want to put our offices here.
We want mahogany desk, we hunt leather chairs, we want big screens with Apple TVs for our staff so we can do presentations and conference rooms and only 80 Coleman Cots and 80 tiny Yeti tumblers for the homeless.
somehow a group out of Arizona, the LeBron James of homeless management, the Michael Jordan
of homeless management, the Judah Wickhauer of homeless management is able to get 120, 120
and just the first floor. Can you make that make sense for me?
I could try.
Oh, go, please. Please, my friend.
I mean, we don't have any details.
So we do have details. What are you talking about?
We don't have details.
We do. No, you don't. We have a floor plan that's been presented by Brack, the Haven, and Patcham to counsel. We've had half a dozen meetings. We've had documented presentations that we can find online. We've had Sam Sanders urge Patcham, Brack, and the Haven to move faster. We've had Lloyd Snook push back on them. We do have details. It's disingenuous to say we don't have details, respectfully, Judah Wickhauer.
I think it's disingenuous to say we do have details.
Do you know how they're going to fit those 150 people on the first floor?
120 is the number.
120.
Do you know how they're going to fit them there?
I'm going to tell you right now.
There'll never be 120 on the first floor at one time.
I don't think so either.
We all know that.
It's kind of immaterial.
But the fact of the matter is...
The wildest thing to me is this.
It's a 27,000 square foot building.
They're going to be doing the construction work on the same.
second floor while the first floor is going to be home to 120 people. Do you understand the quality
of life and how loud it's going to be in that building? They're going to do a 14, start a $14 million
renovation on the second floor of that brick, Georgia next to the bypass, while the first floor
is home in the sleeping quarters of 120 people. How do you sleep with Jack Hammer Jackson working
on the second floor? Do we really think they're going to be Jackhammering at two in the
morning. What if you want to take a nap in the afternoon? What if you're sleeping off a hangover?
Are you're groggy from chasing the dragon and pumping some white china into your veins?
And you want to just catch a snooze and Jackhammer Jackson's on the second floor.
Explain to me how an Arizona group gets 120 on the first floor alone and the local groups only get 80.
And explain to me why it makes sense to hire an Arizona firm
at the tune of $3 million for 12 months.
Three of that $4 million, that $4 million that was approved on Monday,
three is going to the Arizona firm.
And Sam Sanders has confirmed, on record, the city manager,
moving forward, the temporary shelter,
the money will be funded from the budget every year.
Yep.
I've said it once.
I've said it twice.
I've said it three times.
I think I probably said it more times than Anthony Fauci took the fifth.
This will be the most significant boondoggle in Charlottesville City history.
Mark it down. Mark it down.
Next headline, Judah Whitaker, what do you got?
Let's see. We've got brouhaha-brouhaha-ing.
Elliot Harding watching the program.
Counselor, Elliot Harding, one of the best defense attorneys in the mix.
I owe you a text message, Elliot Harding.
$100,000 per person is bonkers, and that's just the new $4 million influx.
called Jesse Rutherford and he'll get a trailer park up
going in a heartbeat for these folks on the city dime and a discount.
Nice.
Elliot Harding says any Almore County resident
should demand the time to end the revenue sharing agreement.
I'll beat that drum till it's over, till it's dead.
Albert Graves, Warrior A.G.
Not surprising that the city of Seaville is paying someone from out of town
to manage something local when the city itself pumps stay local by local,
then again it makes the month.
money, hard to trace what it's not paid locally.
Dude, I'm starting to wonder the same thing, Alberg Graves.
I'm starting to run under the same thing, my man.
Don Gathers.
Hard to believe that the city couldn't find someone locally to properly and safely run
and manage the proposed shelter.
Yeah, it's just absolutely insane.
Absolutely insane.
What I find, what I find baffling is that between the three groups that are crawling
over each other to help out with the shelter. Between these three groups, not a single one of them
can figure out how to run the shelter. Have none of them made plans? Have none of them looked around?
Have none of them reached out to a group like Cass to teach their members how to do this?
Blue-Rat-Role issue for the homeless, Patcham and the Haven, literally missed out on $3 million
dollars for 12 months of work
because they didn't have the nuanced
sophistication because they haven't been planning
to run a temporary
shelter. Yeah.
And instead, City Hall had to go
to the other side of the country
to figure this out.
Carol Ford, what was the original comment?
I missed it. Put it in the feet,
I'll relay it live on air. 11 and a half minutes
until we're off on the water cooler of content
and conversation. Georgia
Gilmer. I haven't seen any details
about the pipe dream shelter at Holiday Drive
just a lot of stupid ideas of what it could be.
And it's on your dime, Georgia Gilmer.
It's on all our dime.
Hank Martin's got a comment on Allison Spillman.
Hank Martin's got a new profile picture looking quite GQ in this profile picture.
Hank Martin, his photo on screen.
Spillman's tenure on the Amar County Public School School Board
was marked by intense controversy as she prioritized personal ideology agendas
over fundamental issues like student safety and discipline.
Centering her platform on personal family dynamics sparked deep community divisions leading to pushback that she frames as hostile as the natural consequence of her own policy choices.
Her political visibility and ties to figures like Tom Periello reflect how broader 5th District Party politics intersected with her board service.
Ultimately, while supporters view her exit as a tragic response to personal strain, it could be contended the outcome was entirely self-made by governance style that put political identity
ahead of local district priorities.
And yes, she'll cry one last time at her final meeting.
We should start taking a straw man's poll.
Straw man's poll.
Is that the right term?
Straw man's poll.
What's a straw man pole?
That's not what it is, right?
That's a straw man's argument, right?
A straw poll, often used a straw man argument,
is an informal non-binding voter survey.
That'll work.
Straw-man poll.
A straw poll.
Okay.
Will Allison Spillman cry at her next meeting?
Can you create something on your laptop?
Will Allison Spillman cry?
Do you have that?
Yes or no?
Are you ready?
What do you want me to create?
We're keeping track of data informally here, Judah, for the prop bet involving the viewers and listeners.
The headline, will Allison Spillman cry?
Category yes, category no, with people's names that we could put under the category, please, sir.
Are you ready?
Yes, a top of the list needs to be Judah Wickhauer.
say Judah. Right below that, Holly Foster, parentheses covering Judah's action. Right below Holly Foster,
Hank Martin. On the no side, evidently I'm on the no side, and now I have to manipulate the outcome
of the future as if I had a sports omenack and Doc Brown's Delorean, and I went into the future to grab
the sports almanac to take it back to the pass, to go to Hill. Is it Hillsdale? Why do I always mess up?
what's the home and back to the future?
Is it Hillsdale?
Do you know what it is, Jude?
Are you helping me?
What's the town?
Hill Valley.
It's Hill Valley.
Hill Valley.
I need a sports almanac and a DeLorean and a flux capacitor
to go to Hill Valley
to prevent Allison Spillman from crying
so I can get the McAllen 12.
I will pour two fingers for Holly,
two fingers for you, and two fingers for me.
We'll drink it and cherish it together upon hopefully me winning the bet,
and then the bottle will be in my control, much like Biff's gambling casino world,
where he was in the hot tub with the buxom beauties.
Next headline, Judah Wickhauer, what do you got?
I literally cannot be late.
Fortunately, it's on the downtown mall, and I have seven minutes left.
Next headline, Maria Marshall Barnes and Philip Dow, welcome to the broadcast.
everybody who's anybody is watching the show right now.
Next topic, what do you got you to work with?
Perry-Ello McGuire.
We talked it already.
Let me ask you this.
If there was an actual fight, I'm talking like a fight-fight.
Like they were pounding.
Let's see where would they go to get in a street fight?
Let's say, remember the double horseshoe saloon on High Street?
Let's say Tom Periello and John McGuire.
John McGuire does a drink.
Let's say Tommy P. and Johnny Mac.
Tommy P. and Johnny Mack go to the double horseshoe saloon.
And Tommy P. and Johnny Mack at the double horseshoe saloon are playing on the barbox pool table that used to be out there.
I used to gamble all the time at the double horseshoe saloon.
This was before I met my wife.
Played Bobby Anderson, played Lee, played Sam, played a lot of people.
Say they're at double horseshoe saloon on the coin-op barbox pool table.
Shoot nine ball, 20 a rack.
Make some good money doing that.
then they start drinking butt-heavy's Tommy Pee and Johnny Mack and having some whiskeys.
And then one thing leads to another and they go to that parking lot right next to the double horseshoe saloon
under the Lamar Billboard stable of signs.
This is by Coznor Brothers.
And Johnny Mack and Tommy P decide to brew ha-ha.
I'm talking fista cuffs.
Who wins that backyard brawl?
Tommy Pee or Johnny Mack and why?
man that's a tough one i think uh i think the alcohol is going to affect uh maguire badly since he doesn't drink
uh that being said man that's tough i uh i kind of think it when it gets dragged down dirty i think
mcguire comes out brushing the dust off no question johnny mack wins that brew ha ha johnny mac
to retire military. He's a frog man.
Johnny Mack is the definition.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight.
It's the size of the fight in the dog.
And Johnny Mack against Tommy P., who, let's cut to the chase,
grew up the life of Almore County luxury,
the son of pediatricians and doctors.
Tommy Pee, I don't think he's been in a backyard brouhaha ever in his life.
Johnny Mack has.
Elliot Harding takes a jab at both of them.
I'm not sure either Johnny Mack or Tommy Pee or
tall enough to ride the big rides at
Bush Gardens, though.
Hey,
neither am I, so
wash it.
I'm fucking laughing my ass
all over here. Elliot Arndon, that was
so good. That was good.
They can't ride
the Loch Ness Monster or
Drac and Fire or the Big Bad Wolf
or Apollo's chariot.
And some of those are fun. They're missing
out. Vanessa Parkhill's
photo on Scree. She says,
Johnny Mack takes Tommy P.
Every time, all the time.
Ray Cadell, Julie Lynn.
Welcome to the show.
Thank you for watching the broadcast.
Elliot Harding.
That was absolutely effing hysterical.
Oh, this is hysterical.
We got four minutes left.
All right, I got to end this program here.
Charlestville Sanitary Supply and Charlottesville Swimming Pool Company,
nearly 63 years in business.
John Vermillion,
Andrew Vermillion.
They take care of our swimming pool and Ivy.
Mila vacuum.
Bono wood flooring, anything swimming pool related,
63 years in business,
vermilions, honest, awesome, just righteous dudes,
the vermilions.
Charlesville Sanitary Supply, ladies and gentlemen.
All final topics we're going to have to save tomorrow.
I need to go make some money over here.
We have an office lease that I'm going to
put it in play and hopefully push to ratification
in approximately two and a half minutes.
So if you see a 5'7 half German, half Cubano that barely is able to ride Drac and Fire spreading
down the downtown mall, that's me.
For Judah Wickhauer, I'm Jerry Miller.
