I mean, this is, you know, one of the most trafficked shopping corridors in all of central Virginia, right, Judah? Fifth Street station, the Wegmans, the Wawa. Oh, yeah. I mean, tens of thousands of people live down Fifth Street extended and Avon extended? I mean, I stopped there sometimes after I've... Are you on camera? No. Is that the voice of God or is that Judah Wickhauer?

Yes. Judah Wickhauer, might as well two shot you. I mean, he's an integral part of the program. He's an integral part of our prop betting. We have an active prop pet. Will Allison Spillman cry at the next school board meeting? Judah says, yes, I say no. I have a prop bet with the fixer.

I'm not going to let you know who the fixer is, but it's a viewer and listener that watches this program that does a lot of fixing, and I'm not talking handyman fixing. And the prop bet with the fixer, I gave four to one odds to the fixer that Natalie Oshran will retire or quit before her term is up. I say Natalie Oshran will finish her term.

The fixer bets that Natalie Oshran will quit prior to the conclusion of her term. It's my $100 against his 25. I think I'm front running for that bet, and frankly, I think I'm front running on the Allison Spillman cry in her last meeting bet. But we'll talk about that on the program. you were talking wah-wah. Your parents lived down Fifth Street extended. You passed this anytime you visit Big Jim and Ann,

some of the most fabulous people in Amarro County. I'll usually stop there for gas on the way home from their house if I'm there for dinner some night and like 9, 30, 10 o'clock. It's, you know, that area is still busy. Right. I mean, top five most shopped and trafficked shopping districts in Central Virginia? I mean, nothing's going to beat Barracks Road Shopping Center. Ryo, I mean, Route 29 is a zoo. Let's cut to the chase, but Fifth Street Station's right there. Do we talk?

We should talk positives first, okay? Positive is first. The police department here in Charlottesville has done a, again, fantastic job on this. Yeah. And you can't police gunshots in terms of preventing them from happening. Yeah. Right. But what we've seen, what we have seen, is that they're very fast to track down the, you know, perpetrators. Right. And now we're searching for a convicted felon, a 20-year-old by the name of, is it Nicon, Nicon, Nicon, Gardner? Something like that. I think his first name should be nice seeing you.

You're going to be spending a lot of time in the slammer. Nicene Gardner has been identified as the suspect allegedly, allegedly. Thursday morning shooting. They have a photo of him. Nicsoon, Nice seeing you gardener, the 20-year-old, is wearing a t-shirt that is as identifiable of any piece of clothing as you could possibly imagine. Are the people on Niceneu's, nice seeing you gardener's shirt? Are those his kids?

Are those images of him when he was as a baby? I mean, you talk about the worst kind of criminal possible. this guy is video surveillance video is face all over it he was going to get I had the I go to church with with Nyssoon, nice seeing you

No not Nyssoon with the he's the chaplain for the Charlottesville Police Department and he said this was a bad week aside from this there was there were some other things something at our church, something that he got a call to go to.

But he said in reference to this guy, guys like this always get caught because they're dumb. They go home and tell their moms and they don't get rid of their phones. Seventy-four-year-old man is the awful part of the story. A 74-year-old man that was a Wawa employee was on break outside. Oh, I know that guy. I used to work with him.

You've worked here for 16 years. So you used to work with him? Okay, you called me a liar? No, I'm not calling you a liar. So this was more than 16 years ago? So you knew him when he was 58? I never asked him his age. Okay.

You know who I'm talking about? The 74-year-old from Wawa? Well, I wouldn't have known who it was until you said that the 70-year-old man was... 74-year-old man was... was an employee there. And he's often there when I stopped there after having

been at my parents' house. And you would talk him up and you remember him for working together? I don't know if he remembers me, but... How could you not remember Judah Wickower? Right. So you remember this man from your time at a previous employer. Yeah.

He got shot. And if it wasn't for the quick action of Charlottesville Police Department who arrived on scene and performed a life-same. measures, a 74-year-old man, 19-year-old man, and a 17-year-old juvenile who were also shot would be in much worse off condition. On the lamb is nice seeing you, Gardner, who is already a convicted felon. Yeah.

He is on the lamb, and my wife, I had a conversation with her about this. This is in a shopping district. It's one thing, you know, and I'm not marginalizing in any capacity violence. I'm not marginalizing violence but violence in Fifth Street Station next to a Wawa gets stayed-at-home moms

gets moms that are grinding 60 hours a week gets stayed-home dads gets dads that are grinding 60 hours a week having a conversation like what the hell's going on and props to Chief Conscious in the police department

for acting quickly and identifying and now in a manhunt for a convicted felon. Is this the top headline of the week that an innocent bystander on his break as an employee at Wawa, a 74-year-old man, got hit with stray bullet? Is that the story? Is the story of this week

as you're putting the lower third on screen, the top headlines of the week? The fact that City Hall in Charlottesville has now entered a contractual agreement with two out-of-state groups or businesses or nonprofits, I call them in the business of homelessness. One of them, the Arizona entity, is getting $3 million. City Hall said, I would rather,

City Hall said we would rather spend this money out of market with an Arizona outfit than do it in-market here in Charlottesville and Almaro. But there is no in-market. How is that true? What do you mean? There's no in-market. There's no Blue Ridge Area Coalition for the Homeless. There's no Patcham.

There's no The Haven. There's no Salvation Army. There's no one that wants $3 million for 12 months of work to manage one floor of a building to house some people. I mean, what do you mean? I've asked the question in our shows this week. It baffles me that none of these, and I'm not. This is $3 million. I'm not talking about Salvation Army because they're doing.

doing their own thing. But the other three groups that are already involved with the shelter, you would think that in preparation for the eventual opening of the full-time, like not temporary shelter, but full-time shelter, you would think that they would have been preparing. And part of that preparation would be either training or finding people who have the ability to do what this group, Cass, is going to do. But, Judah's a businessman. Strangely enough, in all the time they've been discussing the 2000 holiday shelter.

10 months, Judah, 10 months. They don't have anything. Judah's on point. Any ability to fill this hole in the plan. And so. And that's $3 million. dollars. You would think that... For 12 months of work.

And so, and the thing is, we've had a lot to say about Cass, but from everything I've read, they do an amazing job. Yeah, I'm not throwing shade at Cass, the Arizona outfit. And they, 100%. Hopefully will come and

one of these... Set a standard, one of these groups will learn from them. and hopefully, Lord willing, they won't say, oh, hey, you pay them $3, now pay us. And there's my follow up right there. And there's my follow. Judah Wickhauer on point. So you're saying, does the $3 million set up a bad precedent?

Is it the new comp? Yeah. Is it the new standard? There it is. Damn, you are on point today on a payday Friday, your favorite day of the week. Thank you. You're on effing point today. That is exactly the point I would have made, and you did it better than me.

Arizona firm's getting $3 million for 12 months of work, and the Arizona firm is only managing one floor of the 27,000 square foot office building. We're expected to manage all the 27,000 square foot office building, not just one floor of it. Every single floor, and the wraparound services, and the bus stop, and the outreach with the business district that's right next to it, and the plan in place. If they're getting $3 million, by gosh darn it, Charlottesville taxpayers in City Hall, you pay them $3 million in 2026. Here it's 27, inflation, cost of goods, employees want more money, uptick and everything. Give us $3 million. Did Sam Sanders set a new standard for 2000

holiday drive at $3 million? And our taxpayers are going to take it. We're the Sun don't shine as a result. Is that the lead headline of the week? I think it would be... Is that the lead headline? Very... Is the lead headline a 74-year-old man? You got William McChesney, the mayor of McIntyre, his photo on screen.

He says, I know the 74-year-old man. William McChesney says, this is my boy. This is my homie. I've known this man, William McChesney says, since the 60s. William McChesney, I've known him since 1960s. He's a longtime friend of mine. He works the overnight shift. Bill McChesney, tell us about the 74-year-old man that took a stray bullet.

Bill, he's the guy with the, he wears the bow tie occasionally. He wears the bow tie at work at Wawa? Wow. I've complimented him on it. I appreciate that. I don't want to give out his name. Don't give out his name. I would definitely not give out his name.

Because he's a witness to a guy who's on the run and on the lamb right now. That 74-year-old man is potentially a witness to a man that is running for his life, Nic senior gardener, that is probably going to spend the large remaining years of his time on the planet, allegedly, if he's convicted of this, this alleged already. But if he is convicted, this guy's going to spend the large portion of his remaining life on this planet in a slammer. Yeah, I hope so. Right? So this is a man that would be perceived to be extremely dangerous that's on the land.

Already a convicted felon. Already convicted felon. I believe a two-time convicted felon. Clearly not afraid to wave a weapon around and... And 20 years old. And shoot... 74-year-old men. Take shots.

I don't know. We don't know it, obviously, if he was aiming at any of these people. Chief Conscious in the press conference. Fantastic job to Chief Cautius. Was watching the program earlier, Belize watching now, said this was from a beef in his press conference. This is the outcome of a beef. Okay?

His detectives, surveillance, footage, and cameras. Dude, for one thing, don't do this stuff. Don't do this, bad guys. And bad guys, don't wear a shirt that has... I don't know what that is. What is he doing here? shirt the most identifiable piece of clothing I've ever seen

what is that dude's not even wearing a mask is that his wife and kids I don't know it's the cabbage patch kids right there on his shirt is that the cabbage patch kids I figured maybe it was either family

or the people from the old video that goes hide your kids hide your wife yeah I mean this is the cartoon version a fat Albert there on his shirt? Quite possible. What are you doing? He's 20.

Okay, the other obvious lead story, viewers and listeners, put your comments to the feed. We'll relay them live on air. Carol Forbes says, for me, it's the Allison Spilman. Resignation is the lead story. And she says, this week has been especially good for the I Love Seaville show. And she says, you and Judah, Jerry, have both been exceptional this week. We're heading into another ratings week. The I Love Seville Show, ladies and gentlemen, will maintain its position as the number one piece of content in Charlottesville, Elmore, and Central Virginia.

And frankly, second place is so far in our rearview mirror. We're lapping them on the track. Bill McChesney says the 74-year-old buddy of his, his homie, is at home recovering from his wound. That's good to know. Lots of Wawa customers have been calling to ask about him. Wawa customers rally around him. maybe a go-fund me support our community member

that got hit by a stray bullet I mean is the lead story the Spillman headline I think it's pretty close I think the lead story may be the fact that ACPS is

ACPS, Amar County Public Schools is falling back on a on a well-known and utilized firm. They're doing the UVA playbook here. This is the UVA playbook, Almar County Public Schools.

Third-party investigator that is much more friend than foe, much more, much more what? Confidant than truth seeker. Yeah. And can we, you mentioned UVA, can we expect them to break out the magic marker, the black magic marker? not the redacted reports not the highlighter and say oh that's that's information that oh it's that's got someone's name that's and and we end up getting you know a third of the report unredacted John Blair's photo on screen John Blair's watching he says like Judah I also know the 74 year old individual not well but just from stopping at Wawa from time to time I was shocked when I heard the news, pray for all three victims.

It's truly a sad situation. Conan Owen's watching the program. He says, John Blair, he's communicating with John Blair on my LinkedIn page. My personal LinkedIn page has nearly 8,000 connections that this show is being sent to. John Blair, think about this scenario, Conan Owen says. 20-year-old already has multiple felony convictions. Gets a second chance and immediately goes out and gets a handgun and then uses it to shoot people.

That's what happened. Nicenea Gardner is a two-time felon. He's 20, has a weapon, and was shooting people up. At a wah-wah in one of the most populated shopping districts in the region. Yeah. And a stray bullet hits a 74-year-old civilian. Yeah. I mean, those are facts.

Conan also says it's very difficult for a nonprofit to spend money on trading for months in advance with the hope of getting a contract, Judah. He's talking about why there was no one ready to take this three million low-hanging fruit. I don't necessarily disagree, but I don't, aren't they pretty much, aren't the three companies, like, in bed. Three non-profits. They're not companies, nonprofits. You're talking Blue Ridge Area College for the homeless, Patcham and the Haven. Yeah.

Arthay, go ahead. Finish your thought. I mean, they've been in this from the start. You would think that... I'm with you, dude. I'm 100% with you. And if they're not, and then what... I mean, really, what was the plan? Bingo!

What is the plan? They didn't have... Brack, Blue Ridge Area Coalition for the Homeless, the Haven, and Patcham, do not have the sophistication or nuance to manage just one floor of the building. Before the floor was completely outfitted and retrofitted and remodeled, how do we think that they're going to have the nuance, the sophistication, the experience, and the skill set to manage the entire effing facility? John Blair makes the point. Think of how crazy this week has been. Normally, if the Charlottesville or Almaro County Police Chief resigns, it's the lead story for the entire week. Here we got Sean Reeves Judah Wickhauer, the Almore County Police Chief, that's been on medical leave for most of the year. Yeah. And is now saying, you know what, peace, I'm out. I'm not coming back. back. I'm going to just retire. Does anyone not have questions of why Sean Reeves, who's been on medical leave for most of this year since May 8th, is now going to go transition from medical

leave to retirement on October 1? Well, staying on medical leave. What is going on? Don't we have questions as Almaro County taxpayers? Why did he go on medical leave? Why have we been funding the most expensive position in the Amar County Police Department for just about all of 2026 and had someone not at work? And why is he transitioning straight into retirement? What is going on here? Is this mental health? Is this sickness?

What is happening? And can I highlight this? I want to give some big time props. And I gained tremendous respect for Deputy Chief Camille Stewart when I watched her at Holly Meade Elementary, interact with Matthew Haas at the parent forum where they, for the first time, communicated to Holly Meade Elementary School parents that there was an alleged child sex assaulter utilizing a nondescript, off the beaten path sex dungeon to do the most horrific of acts during school time. school hours at Holla Meade Elementary.

I watched the deputy chief, Camille Stewart, who is now the acting police chief at Alamoire County Police Department. She basically put Dr. Matthew Haas in his place. Because Dr. Matthew Haasen, that video, was trying to throw the police under the bus to cover for himself. In that video recorded parent forum town hall

in the gym at Halamine Elementary School, Matthew Haas said, well, I was told not to tell anyone parent-wise, parents, that their kids may have been sexually assaulted by Mike Sweeney, allegedly. And then Camille Stewart slides on over in front of the microphone and says, that's actually not true. You could have told the parents that their kids were allegedly sexually assaulted. What you're saying pretty much is an untruth. And then after she said that, Matthew Haas was like, well, you know what? I'm pretty much aft here. I'm pretty much screwed.

I'm pretty much in trouble. But he negotiates a golden parachute. Somehow, the Amar County School Board give this guy nearly $300,000 to trot off into the sunset as if he's wide irp with a buxom beauty in the back of his horse to go find his new homestead.

I doubt he even had to do a whole lot of... Here's 300K, Matthew Haas. Go trot off into the sunset. set with a buxom beauty on the back of your Philly and go find yourself a new homestead. That's what they said. And then we find out from your boy, Jim Dillonbeck, as he's passing the church offering plate to you in Pew number three, he says, oh my goodness, there was a woman on the school board that was told by Matthew Haas in February about all this, and she did nothing.

And then Matthew, Jim Dillenbeck, your boy, Jimbo, Jimbo Dylanbeck, Jimbo says, you know what, I'd have to check my notes. I'd have to check my notes. But I'm not really sure. I don't think I was ever told that there was alleged 11 sexual assaults at Hallibede Elementary by a teacher for the most vulnerable students. But I'm not really sure. My memory is not that clear.

Jimbo, you don't remember having a conversation or hearing anything about teachers, allegedly sexually assaulting children? For you to say, I don't remember, I'm not sure, and I have to check my notes. That is, okay, I would like, since it's your friend, you finish the sentence because my word choice is going to be different than yours. I'm not going to, I didn't hear the, I didn't hear the quote or. That was the quote. That was the exact quote.

Almost verbatim, exact words. Hank Martin, am I not right? I'd have to check my notes. I don't remember. I'd have to go back and look. I'm not 100%. I don't think I was told that kids were. And then says, a female school board member

was told in February, and she didn't mention anything else. Then Allison Spillman resigns. Katea Koff, is that who it was? Katea Koff? The one who left. Peased out? Peased out and was in the last school,

the emergency school board meeting via Zoom. Kate, Kate cuff? Kate cuffed? Oh, excuse me. A cuff, not cuffed. K to cuff, not cuffed. Let's, K to cuff or cuffed? K to cuff?

Who knew? We don't know. We deserve to know. Do we deserve to know? I think it would be nice to know who. Which of the seven? It's not even seven. It's five females on the board. Which of the five females knew in February and did nothing? Is that not the number one thing this, third party law firm should say and figure out?

Yeah. Am I right on this? Who knew? Who knew? Who knew? Who knew? Who knew and covered it up? I don't know if, I don't know if this particular person knowing is covering it up. Oh my goodness. Okay. I'll hear you out. Okay. Doing nothing you're saying is not a cover up. Okay. Tell that to the parents, but go ahead. Okay, but in this case, we're not. Because they watch the show, but go ahead.

I'll be quiet. You're right. I'm sorry. I'll be quiet. In this case, we're not talking about someone that knew about Sweeney before he came to the school or during the time he was at the school. That's an assumption. No. Yes, it is. I believe what, no. You don't know what Matthew Haas told to the female school board member about how he got to Holly Mead and what he did allegedly or rumored at Woodbrook Elementary. You do not know if Matthew Haas said that to the female school board member or not.

But what we are talking about is this. this woman on the school board knowing after what, January, February, when the guy got arrested and was no longer with the school, that was what the knowledge was about, correct? Am I wrong there? I don't know what... I find not passing on that information troubling, but not necessarily egregious. if you knew that the guy was out of the school and the police were looking into it

and you were one of the only people that knew about it I can see it being the kind of thing that you're like I don't know if I should you know if this is my thing to tell this is not about Sweeney being at the school and somebody knowing that he was a predator and not saying anything about it

I'm just saying there are differences in the information and it is troubling that you would go five or six months without telling parents that some of this stuff occurred. But it's not the same. It's not the same as knowing the guy was doing those things before the police came along and not saying anything. I'm flabbergasted by your stance. Really?

Tom Starchel watching the program, the Golden Apple Award winner, the retired Amor County Public School teacher, Tom Stadjel's photo on screen, how Jerry described Jim Dillon Beck's comments on the record about needing to check his notes to see if alleged sexual assaults were happening at Almore County Public Schools is absolutely a perfect description of what Dylan Beck said in the media. Okay.

Okay. I'm going to rebuttal Judah's comment here, his commentary from moments ago. If Almore County School Board members, if one, we know one, Dylan Beck said there was one. Yeah. He said one of the women knew. If they knew in February and did nothing, that's a cover up. If you were told by the superintendent, children are being sexually assaulted at an elementary school, the most vulnerable students by a man that's not licensed,

and an office that's windowless and cameraless can be locked from the inside while he's holding a walkie-talkie that can track the whereabouts of every employee in the school. The school board member knew, was told this from the superintendent, and they heard it in February, and they did nothing. That is a cover-up. What, okay, so- Viewers and listeners, help us, is that a cover-up, yes or no? Viewers and listeners, is that a cover-up, yes or no?

Go ahead, Judah, Woodcaron. So you're saying it's a cover-up after the police are involved? This was before the police were involved. That was not my understanding of it. Okay. I stand corrected. I stand corrected. We don't know the exact timeline.

My understanding. If the school board, I'll choose my words very carefully here. We don't know the exact timeline. Perhaps the police were already involved that. That's what I was trying to explain. You're right. If this person, if this alleged woman knew before the police became involved, I agree with you completely. That's a cover up.

If they knew after he had been. after he had been, the police had started the investigation, he was placed on leave. At that point, I think it's bad decision-making on both this board member and on the superintendent's part to not inform parents about it. That's a cover-up. But it's not a cover-up once the police are involved. Not informing people. Okay.

Judah, Judah, Judah, acting, Almaro-Marle County Police Chief Camille Stewart. corrected Matthew Haas at the Holly Me Gymnasium Town Forum, town hall, and said, you should have told the parents. That's not what she said. Yes, she did say that. She said, we did not prevent you from telling the parents. Right. That's different from saying.

Oh, my gosh. No, seriously. Oh, my gosh. You're really just going to throw around whatever you want to say and then not. All right. So this is what you're saying. When Camille Stewart gets the microphone from Matthew Hoss and says, we did not prevent you from telling the parents.

Yeah. That's not her saying you should have told the parents? I'm not sure how you're conflating two completely different statements. Her saying one of those, making one of those statements is not exactly the same as her making the other statement. I'm sorry. It may have been implied. It very well may have been implied that he should have told the parents. But that's not what she said.

I agree that they should have told the parents. We're both in agreement there. We're both in agreement there. What we're in disagreement here and we're having a conversation, it's getting heated. I'm not trying to get heated here. I'm coming at this as a person that's alpha and passionate by nature and certainly a father of two children,

an eight-year-old and a three-year-old soon and before that the eight-year-old very well could have been in this situation. Yeah. Okay? So I'm thinking about it that way as well. Okay? So I'm trying to stick to the facts here and keep the emotions out of it.

A school board member who knew in February what was happening and did nothing about the knowledge, the worst kind of knowledge possible. I mean, this is right there with school shooting of what happened. Okay? And did nothing about it.

And did nothing about it. That for me is what a cover-up is. Because they made the decision not to act on it because of fear of what was going to happen. If I was in the shoes of whoever this female is, and I found out in February from Dr. Haas,

the immediate first thing I would have sent to Dr. Haas was A, sit me down, I'm going to clear the rest of my schedule. I want the exact turn of events of how we got to this point, as you know it right now. And I would have told Matthew Haugh, I am documenting this, sir. I would have told him that. I would have paper trailed it.

I probably would have busted out my iPhone recorder and said, I'm going to record this. To cover my, first to protect myself. Then I would have taken the documentation and the recording and called an emergency school board meeting and immediately papered the trail in an emergency documented school board meeting.

And in that meeting, I would have demanded that my fellow school board members bring this to the attention not just of parents, but of the public. Yeah. Because how the Holly Meade Elementary parents found out was through a mugshot released on the I Love Seville Show of Mike Sweeney.

I mean, the same goes... That's how they found out. The same goes with all the parents, even the ones at the current school, right? Yeah. Woodbrook Elementary. Yeah. Why did Woodbrook Elementary not have the same town hall offered to them?

Where Matthew Haas and Rebecca Berlin and the Woodbrook Elementary School Board representative and the grief counselors and the principal were present. He used to work at Woodbrook. Compounding the matter, Woodbrook is the other teacher who got popped for the child porn. Woodbrook deserves the same. Anyone who is involved in a cover-up of a crime like this should receive jail time if found guilty and publicly humiliated. and excused herself from a meeting, from the school board meeting, where they made public they wanted Matthew Haas's resignation, and Kada Cuff was also in the emergency meeting via Zoom and remote to offer herself protection from media question following the meeting with the many media that were in attendance. Yeah, I'd say it's surprising.

Elmero County, of all the jurisdictions in central Virginia, saw the most marginal median value depreciation at just under one point. second quarter this year for second quarter last year. Nelson County, you're talking a five-point loss, five-point swing and medium values. Fluvana County, three points, green three points. Charlottesville City, two points. This is not good. This is not good.

And it coincided, ladies and gentlemen, the second quarter of this year with the second quarter of last year, whether you want to admit this or not, and maybe I'm bringing some politics into this, the mix here with a war in Iran where gas is ridiculously expensive at four bucks and we're past the point

You want to know why Outer County real estate is softening, Nelson County, Fluvanna County, Louisiana County, Green County,

because it's $4 a gallon gas, and they're driving 25, 30, 40, 50 minutes one way to work. That's why it's softening. You want to know why we're trying to rub two nickels and make it a quarter? because groceries are through the roof. Electricity is going up. Insurance is going up. Cost of goods are going up. Always.

Everything. It's all tied to gas. And you don't want to hear that, but that's what it is. I don't know if any of the, do any of the board members really have a whole lot of political savvy? I think if there's someone that has political savvy on that board. If there's someone who has political savvy on the board. If, if. Big, big if, right? If it's a cuff for Berlin. I think Judy Lee is meek as a mouse. I think Allison Spillman is shown a tendency to be unstable.

Not to mention also out of her depth. extremely unstable. I think Bob Beard is a retired old man that is bored and has time on his hands and saw an opportunity to pursue a seat in unopposed fashion, and now he's dealing with a septic tank that is exploded and leaking in the backyard of his Ivy Wesley home. I think Jimbo wanted to be the conservative voice, Alan Osborne. Warren would rather have a beer at James River Brewery than go through this?
