Hey guys, happy Saturday. It's episode 114. Welcome back to the show.
Hey, what's up? It's Jacqueline. Happy Saturday.
Welcome back to the show. Day after Christmas, let's do a podcast. Sitting in my mom's kitchen,
coming to you live here in Washington on a Saturday night. Wow. What a day. Day after
Christmas, I feel like most people I've seen on social media, we're all horizontal, chilling all
day. What do you do the day after Christmas? Especially when it's on a weekend. We just
laid around, watched movies, didn't really do much today. But I'll get into that. First off,
if you're new, I'm here seven days a week. I know I'm here seven days a week. Don't ask questions.
That's what it is. Uh, so go ahead. If you're interested in more episodes, head, head over to
the Apple podcast app, hit that subscribe button. And if you want more content from me, if you want
even more shit, Oh, I don't want to swear. If you want even more content from Jacqueline, head over

patreon patreon you know I like I have a love hate with that word patreon.com slash tjms
all right let's get into the day um woke up bright and early 3 a.m my brother and his
girlfriend were flying to Missouri today and they had to get up early to go to the airport so I'm
on the couch I'm on that couch still every night I've been sleeping on the couch because there
aren't any beds for me I could sleep with people like there's options and bigger beds you know
extra room but I don't know I stay up late I podcast I just like the couch it's cool I love
it I actually sleep I sleep great on the couch honestly see I woke up at 3 a.m. to people walking
through the house getting ready to go to the airport so that was the thing I'm trying to think
of anything oh basically the one thing I wanted to say about that is as soon as everyone left and
I saw the car drive away I couldn't stop crying um like my brother hugged me goodbye on the couch
I was like asleep he's like bye because that's the last I'm gonna see him and as soon as the
car pulled out I was like sobbing I couldn't stop crying I I've been really emotional today I was
looking at pictures I just cry all the time right now like yesterday on Christmas I was crying
opening presents left and right I don't know but yeah that happened um if you're unfamiliar my
brother and I haven't seen each other in an entire year, over a year. And so this trip with him home
this week was really special. So then, I mean, guys, I'm going to just, this is a vlog. This
is an audio vlog. I'm taking you through the day with my voice. I'm going to try to make this
interesting, but to be honest, today was the day after Christmas. We didn't do, we literally didn't
do anything, but fuck it. I'll tell you what happened. Basically at like fucking, what time
was it six yeah around 6 30 I thought I heard Odie the dog we're babysitting it's my brother
and his girlfriend's dog um I thought I heard it's heard his footsteps on the floor like pouncing
around I didn't think anything of it next thing I know I'm getting a phone call and I'm like what's
going on then I hear him bark and I realized that my mom and my sister were locked out
and I don't know how they were locked out of the house and I had to go get the door and anyways
that's maybe an interesting piece of information to tell you on this episode 114 I don't know I
guys hold on I don't really talk about my beverage I'm sipping tonight I'm drinking a lemon
LaCroix you know it does a job it's good keeps me awake at night um could have spiked it with
something but I chose not to I've been dry today I haven't drank yesterday we drank all day long
Bailey's I didn't talk about Christmas literally before this episode I recorded my Merry Christmas
episode because my mom sat me down. She's like, Jacqueline, you need to be honest. You can't fake
it and say Merry Christmas the day after Christmas without telling them that you actually didn't make
one on Christmas. You had to. Okay. So basically she was like, look, Walmart was closed on Christmas.
It's okay that you didn't do a podcast on Christmas, but she was supportive of me
just quickly tuning in, saying hello, saying Merry Christmas and uploading it. It's literally
a minute and 39 seconds but it's part of my mission i'm on right now is to do it seven days
a week so had to post it but i literally just finished recording it before this one whatever
but yeah episode 114 what am i talking about oh yesterday at christmas we drank all day baileys
and baileys baileys and coffee in the morning and we were having like tequila sunrises
all kinds of shit all day long it was great but today i haven't drank a single thing and uh but
i'll talk about what i ate so i fucking had a leftover what's it called um christ it's meat
prime rib yeah i ate i ate a bowl of meat for breakfast followed by italian sweet bread and
ice cream as we watched yellowstone like basically mom sister brother and brother's girlfriend went
to the airport in seattle came home my brother my mom my sister came home we ate leftovers for
breakfast drank coffee talked it was fun then i got some ice cream and italian sweet bread and
sat on the couch and we binge watched yellowstone all day and ate a bunch of like fucking sweet food
and like desserts all day and shit and laid around and slept and then basically we watched yeah we
watch Yellowstone and then I'm making the most interesting podcast in the world. This episode is
so exciting. Fuck. Okay. So we watch Yellowstone. I said that five times. How are you doing? How's
your day after Christmas going? Um, thanks for being here. You know, fucking doing it. I said,
I do the seventies week. I'm fucking doing it. Did that. Um, my mom was putting away Christmas
decorations all day, cleaning the house. She likes to get busy and putter putts around the house.
And I'm like, like, I think at one point I offered you to, I offered you to do the dishes
and she's like, no, no, no, no, don't, don't, I don't want you to do it.
It's fine.
She, she thoroughly enjoys like tending to the house.
So I was like, okay, we had a situation go down.
We were missing a chainsaw at one point.
And, uh, basically it was kind of the heat kind of turned on me.
Uh, I was like, I didn't touch it.
I saw it.
We had two chainsaws for the bushes here.
my mom cuts the bushes every year makes them nice and square around the property
I think I've mentioned this before but like she does it alone and she drags the big
branches into a big pile where we do a burn like a big bonfire but anyways the chainsaw was missing
and she's like Jacqueline where'd you put the chainsaw I'm like I didn't move it I didn't touch
it I know I saw there's two of them in the back room I don't know that's the last I saw them
I vacuumed back there I didn't you know I saw them there I don't know what happened but
long story short uh they thought I was lying I don't know why but I I was honest and they were
uh they found the chainsaw on the top of the dryer it was like covered with clothes yeah so anyways
telling stories about a missing chainsaw what the fuck okay so that happened my mom was cleaning
we're watching Yellowstone taking naps scrolling social media looking at people uh post about
Christmas and shit uh slept with the dog on my he's so amazing he just cuddles you voluntarily
just comes up to you and like lays on you and you don't even have to call him over he just cuddles
up and he'll start spooning you sleeping on your chest it's so cute he's a pit bull he's a pit bull
lab with a little bit of chow in him a lot of people on Instagram are asking me like what's
what breed is he he's not a full pit bull he's pit pit lab mostly but yeah he's so cute and I'm
gonna miss them tomorrow we have the whole day together um us two because my mom my sister are
leaving so I'm excited for that um then after the okay so I cut away for like 30 minutes with my mom
I hope my brother isn't listening to this fuck I'm gonna tell you what we did we did an art project
with the dog I really hope he doesn't listen I doubt he will be he's on vacation in Missouri
right now they're in I think it's St. Louis yeah they were under the arch in a picture today so
yeah that's St. Louis right whatever we took the dog and we did some paw print artwork with us in
a special we did like a special word that my brother loves we made this giant painting with
his paw prints everywhere and so we broke away to do that made a made a mess all over the garage
floor he was not very cooperative but we had little I had little pieces of pieces of dog food
to help him like you know stay focused and like not squeal away but he was okay he wasn't in pain
or anything we were just trying to make him like comfortable and like hold his paw on the paper
and it kind of took a while but um we washed him off really good after that we went we went we
went and played out in the yard for a long time and he's such a fun dog I'm totally getting a dog
I'm not I don't know why I thought I wanted a cat I wanted a cat for the low maintenance
aspect but now that I'm seeing how amazing a dog is to be with and like sleep with all the time
it's so nice um so yeah we did that and then we came back inside and literally just like sat
around talked laughed um we laughed a lot today it was a good time um fuck what else did I eat
anything cool or do any I did yoga oh wait I worked out so after that yeah I had all this energy from
the painting and the playing with the dog, I felt like I wanted to sweat and do a hard workout. So
I got on the elliptical in the garage, um, for about an hour and just like, like watch YouTube
videos and shit. And then, um, did yoga after that and kind of stretched. And then we came inside,
talked, laughed, fucking, what did we eat? I thought we ate something kind of cool.
Oh, I had more meat. Yeah. I had more, uh, leftover meat.
I don't know. It's so fucking good. My mom makes the best prime rib and leftover meat. I don't
know. It was great. Just threw that shit in the microwave and heated it up, ate it plain. It was
so good. Um, I don't eat a lot of red meat. And whenever my mom cooks, like the other night she
made filet, I am, I just love it. So it's wild that I was vegan for like three years. When I
talk about me right now, I'm like, ah, I'm a changed woman. I'm all about that. See, my thing
though is like I love going like when I go to my grandpa's house his entire freezer is stocked with
like moose meat venison lamb like bear fucking all the animals he hunts and I love like I'm on
that wave or I'm on that train where I'm all about like after being vegan I decided that
when I buy meat I want to buy the most like local grass-fed organic like the highest quality
possible because I I like the idea that the animal was not in a factory like you know when you see
what are those called like factory farm setting I just I don't and you can honestly taste like
there's a difference with the meat if it's super high quality grass-fed all that good shit so
anyways but yeah I've been eating a lot of red meat this month and it's been nice
talking about eating meat for dinner all right we have that then we just like sat around last
some more talked about random shit. Um, I don't know. It's just the three of us girls today. Um,
that we watched this creepy movie. I, what did I do? It was, Oh, I was like,
I don't know. I was like, I don't need to mention this, but I was researching,
like I had my own headphones on and Jacqueline pull your shit. I'm literally laying on the,
the tape on the chairs at the table here. Like it's a couch. I keep doing this every podcast.
I'm comfortable. You know, I'm at home for the holidays. I'm getting comfy with myself on my
own podcast. Sorry. But anyways, I was sitting there with my headphones and looking up stocks
and shit, reading, researching, um, the new Apple news about the electric cars or whatever coming
out in 2024 is making a lot of shit happen. And I'm paying attention. I'm trying to like learn
about it. I think I've told the story before I got into the stock market this year. I'm learning,
learning a lot about it and kind of um trying to understand like the ins and the outs of psychology
the um the terminology because it's like it's like learning anything you it's complicated and it's
well I feel like I I understand it I understand the basics I think it's it's really simple if
you understand the basics but I don't know there's always more to learn with the stock market and
you constantly have to read and research so I'm doing that I usually do that on the weekends
um before the new week new week still sitting back you guys literally I'm like in a fucking
yoga position I don't know when when you become more flexible you just notice yourself doing
like random poses throughout the day around furniture and shit like the legs are always
up on the fucking counter you know I'm always like doing a sats what not a satsuma Jacqueline
shit. It's called a chaturanga. Like I'll just do a sun salutation middle of the day and fucking
splits and whatnot, but, um, whatever. Okay. So already want to delete this episode. Not going
to do it. Um, shit. I watched, yeah, I was watching stocks stuff, learning about stuff,
researching. Um, yeah, I did that. They watched the movie. I kind of was in and out of the movie.
I don't know the name of it. I really wish I caught the name of it for you guys. So I could
tell you but it was basically a car chase with this real I think it was what actor fuck he had
to gain a bunch of weight for this role he was in a truck chasing down a woman in a Volvo Volvo
fuck like a station wagon Volvo and I think it was in California the setting
it was a weird creepy kind of movie but um yeah we watched that and then after that they went to bed
my mom was like helping me with some packing stuff when I fly out she's like do you need extra
because I have new I'm packing a bunch of gifts and stuff I'm taking back to San Diego so she's
like helping me with like luggage options and um yeah then then I was like I gotta go podcast so
she made some tea sat here for a bit and then here I am episode 114 that's literally the day
um I know I'm how do I say this look I know
next week when I'm in San Diego it's going to be like
I don't know I have this excitement and energy behind being back in my routine in my apartment
in the city like my podcasting on YouTube Monday through Friday oh yeah by the way I'll be resuming
in January, Monday through Friday on YouTube. There's a hiccup Monday through Friday on YouTube
in January. He's coming back again. Um, I was doing that. I think there's like 40 episodes
on YouTube already, but I decided when I come home for, uh, the holidays for in Washington
here for a month, I wasn't going to go on YouTube and like park my camera out. And like, I don't
know, I didn't want to make it a thing this month. I really just want to be with family and hang out.
And honestly, that's why these episodes haven't been very long and I'm not really writing much or like the content is going to be so much more exciting when I'm back in San Diego because I usually like when my routine is I, when I think of something throughout the day, I'm like writing, I'm making sure I mentioned on the podcast and paying more attention to the world and what's going on.
I'm more plugged into like pop culture and the like politics stuff. And I have more to comment
on when I'm not just hanging with family all the time. Cause I'm barely on my phone here. I'm
barely like paying attention. I haven't like watched or listened to a podcast in a month.
Like I don't really have a pulse on the world other than, um, coronavirus for 14 fucking COVID
19. This bitch is mutating. I heard there's a new strand or something coming out. I'm like,
what is that going to be called? COVID-20. I mean, fuck. I think we're in this for,
we're going to be in this for a minute, but, um, I really, really hope that mid 2021, like
summertime people are back at the office. It's more like easy going in public. There's no,
there's like indoor dining again. We can go to bars and hopefully clubs and there, you know
what I mean like I really maybe that won't be until the end of the year but if we do another
repeat of all these restrictions and shutdowns I think it's we're gonna be fucked so yeah prayers
up to the uh science scientists out there making shit happen with vaccines and I don't know I'm
not like against it honestly I'm kind of like there's so much here's what I'll say I believe
people are making a lot of they're drawing a lot of conclusions around this virus
and like new world orders and agendas that are you know like the that are going on behind the
scenes and it's like there's all these assumptions about this you know everything with is you know
in terms of I mean it's people draw politics into this people draw um what's it called like the
what are the people called that control the world um what are they fucking called Jacqueline you're
tired it's okay but you know what I mean I don't I don't know if that's necessarily
I don't know like a lot of people make it sound logical but I kind of feel like it's a reach in
a lot of ways I'm like no there's this virus there's a vaccine that's gonna help it and I'm
all for it like fucking I would I just want I'll do whatever to get this world back to normal and
not shut down and fucking six feet away and can't go to the office can't go to a bar and can't you
know if I personally probably won't take it uh I have no plans on that or desire to be honest but
um I'm not fully like anti-vaccine oh my god they're trying to like chip us and this vaccine's
gonna cause all these issues with people's health but like I don't know I'm just hopeful I'm just
trying to get this uh I don't know but yeah all the people people a lot of people are drawing a
lot of conclusions about everything and I don't know what's real and what's not but I don't know
anyways I hate this episode Jacqueline why would you post content you don't like Jacqueline don't
post content that you're not proud of this is not a good look don't do this this is bad for your
brand this is bad for the Jacqueline Monroe show this podcast kind of was but you know what here's
what I have to say about that throw shit against the wall and see what sticks I don't know that's
probably the wrong phrase for this uh just post it and then do it again the next day and don't
make it such a big deal like here's what I've realized about podcasting every day like some
days are gonna not be exciting and like you won't feel great afterwards like oh my god I killed it
that was so fun I had so much to talk about I laughed a lot I joked a lot it was a great time
like some days aren't gonna be like that and you just have to post it anyways
do it anyways maybe that's a phrase so it's helping me battle my I guess
procrastination perfectionism like making sure everything I I do and say online is perfect and
correct and people will like me and that like this is forcing me to put myself out there and
take a risk and not really care so much about like or worry so much about that shit that doesn't
even matter anyways like I don't think I think the people that are successful in the content
world are willing to go out on a limb, put themselves out there, just go for it. And
they're cool with like, not everyone totally being stoked about them and what they say. Like
a lot of people have opinions and they share them and then other people hate it. And like,
that's just part of life. So I'm one of those people now I'm like, Hey, this is it. This is
the best I can do for today. Honestly, what am I going to do for the rest of the night? I'm going
to put on a YouTube podcast. I want to watch a Jerry episode and fall asleep. And I know,
I know how that probably sounds to some of you, but that's the truth. Um, I just like
to fall asleep to that shit sometimes. And it, it's nice to, I don't know. It's just
nice. Do you guys do that? Fall asleep to a podcast on YouTube? Yeah. Well, can I even
watch it? I feel like I can't watch it on my TV. Is he only on Spotify now? See, I don't
even know what's going on with, with that. I'm pretty sure I can only watch it on Spotify,
whatever. All right, guys, episode 114. Happy Saturday. We're coming to a close.
Hope you had a great day and, uh, I hope you're happy. I hope you're fulfilled.
I hope you're healthy. I hope your family's healthy. And, uh, tomorrow is Sunday and I'll
be watching football. I'll be hanging out with the dog and I'll be podcasting with a fuck ton
of caffeine in my body because come hell or high water, I will not do this tomorrow night. I will
be, I'll be doing this during the day. I owe it to you. I owe it to you and myself. This is,
this episode 114 may be the downfall of the show. Um, I'm joking, but like, that's how I feel right
now, but Hey, we're getting over, we're getting over it. We're going to post it anyways.
All right. Love you guys. Talk to you tomorrow. Have a great day, night, whenever you're listening
of this and that's it. All right. Bye.
