Hey guys, happy Friday. It's episode 155. Welcome back to the show!
who has spoken 10 hours a week, that we're like, can't wait to listen.
Hey guys, what's up? It's Jacqueline. Happy Friday. Welcome back to the show.
Hit that subscribe button. I'm here 70s a week. Am I, am I a radio host? Is that what this is?
Like, when I think about it, I'm like, whoa, I'm on the, I'm on the microphone every single day.
as if I'm on the radio yet I'm posting it as a podcast I don't know what to do
I don't know okay so first of all um hi this is my audio diary I'm here 70s 70s week hit that
subscribe button happy Friday I hope you're doing well I hope you feel successful dude it feels so
good to feel successful and I don't know what that is for you but I really hope that you feel
it today. Why am I going on that tangent? I want to go back to what I, um, was going to address
about what Whitney Cummings said. I'm going to, I hope you feel successful. Let's go back to Whitney
Cummings. I played that because I was watching the Tim Dillon episode and she's sitting there
going, you know, no one wants to listen to a woman speak. What woman do we get excited about,
uh, listening to 10 hours a week? And, you know, women, uh, for the most part are the
ones that sit back and laugh at jokes they aren't funny no one wants to hear them talk but what and
i'm sitting there going i'm like clamming up going oh fuck i'm like wait a minute is that do
does is this just one giant the jacqueline monroe show bitch nobody cares nobody cares
like i'm posting this and it's just like a bunch of fucking people watching it or like
observing the fact i do it seven days a week like fuck that i'm not listening that girl
talk seven like every day like I'm like sitting back going wait a minute am I full of myself
is this just a bunch of bullshit like why am I doing this I'm a woman I shouldn't talk all the
time like this I don't know but um anyways I'm sitting back going wait a minute I do that and
yet here's what's wild here's what's wild my audience is literally it's like 90% male
and the amount of DMs I get from guys saying like I've never missed an episode
and what am I on 155 I look forward to your show every day uh I normally don't like girly podcasts
but for whatever reason I like yours and you're funny and interesting like they just say like I
actually look forward to it you're a girl and yet I like listening to you Whitney Cummings there's
your proof that it's possible and you know what you're great you don't need to have a mental
breakdown every time you walk out of the studio and think that you sucked at your podcast.
I love what Tim said. I'm going to start using this in conversation or like, you know, or to
back up kind of like why I'm just so gung-ho about having my own podcast seven days a week.
Tim's like, Whitney, you have to bet on yourself. You have to bet on yourself. And people sense,
and he said he made a great point with podcasting he says people sense passion they sense if you're
really into it you love it and um I feel like that's what I fucking I literally eat sleep and
breathe this shit I'm like always talking about how much I love podcasting I feel like maybe that's
what keeps people um like engaged just like I'm believing in myself I'm betting on myself I'm like
I don't give a shit I'm doing it seven days a week and like it's the whole if you don't believe
in yourself and believe in what you're doing no one else will you know so whatever um anyways
I just thought that was funny audio a piece of audio because I'm like sitting back when we am I
just is this just a fucking is this just one giant nobody cares shut up no one cares about
your fucking life and like your childhood stories and your fucking coffee you drink every day
let's talk about my coffee I'm drinking okay so I woke up oh by the way by the way I'm a terrible
host we're gonna go into my uh document that I said I want to talk about this I want to read
from it all of February and like talk about some shit I wrote because it's kind of funny
today we're gonna talk about my personal brand I my aesthetic I once wrote about
and it's fucking funny because it's kind of cringy and I'm going to read it and discuss it
because that was so me like two years ago and I don't know so anyways back to my beverage
I've got two pickle jars sitting next to me one has uh water uh water filter by the way a water
filter update still love it water tastes great it's a cuckoo Korean water filter I'm a fucking
found on Amazon it lights up it feels like you know I'm in a bar like there's like lights going
on the water system thing and it's sick so drinking that and then I woke up immediately
downed I pulled two shots of espresso or excuse me was that four dude it's 6 a.m. did I even
mention that this is the morning this is the morning that was my dream and my goal yesterday
I was like oh fuck my life I'm behind today it's you know last night I podcasted at 6 30 I'm like
I wanted to get this done at 6 a.m so I'm I can report right now finally this is I'm accomplishing
my dreams and my goals I'm podcasting in the morning so I'm drinking coffee anyways I had
immediately downed four shots of espresso and then I made um a latte with two more shots
oh is there four dude I'm over caffeinated I'm can you hear it my voice it's just what it is
okay I love this shit I love it I know it's too much but I don't care um we're just drinking like
an almond milk latte with like you know four shots puppy and I played really hard all morning
so he's settled and calm right now while I podcast um anyways so yeah all right happy
Friday let's read from this document um let's cringe together brand aesthetic so this document
if you're new is everything I've ever written since I was in like high school like eight I'd
say like 18 to now and a couple years ago I took all the notes off my phone I took all my random
writings and I put it on a document and so sometimes on the podcast I read from it and
it's funny to go whoa like I'm a changed woman like I was thinking this a couple years ago and
I do not agree now um uh so anyways today we're going to talk about at one point when I wanted to
like be an on I wanted to like rebrand myself or like be a person I wanted to be a like I wanted
a personal brand so hard at one point and an aesthetic and every time you come across my shit
there's like a feeling and a vibe and a color theme there's like a theme of um you know like
even down to like filters on pictures and like colors and logos and fucking everything
Jacqueline Monroe because you know I was like a wannabe influencer at one point where
I just thought like that's what you do reach out to brands have an aesthetic sell a fucking course
or a ebook or I don't know talk about your like insta story your fucking oatmeal every day
you know and I I just got sucked into that path and you know I've talked about how at the end of
the day I realized like my life sucks whenever I do those types of things I'm like I'm putting
effort into bullshit like none of this even matters or or is it's just for me I understand
at how people think it's um it's like oh well I'm I like art and this is a creative outlet and
applying a filter and like posting a story of my oatmeal it's like it's like a they enjoy that
process I personally found that my life sucked when I did it it sucked me out of the moment
it doesn't matter I felt like I was trying hard and trying to look a certain way so
I didn't go down that route now I'm doing a podcast so brand aesthetic first thing I wrote
here. Breathe. So, oh, by the way, I can people watch this morning for once because it's not dark
out. And in the past I would people watch every single day and mentioned like anything going on
outside. I would be like immediately distracted by it and I'd have to report on it. So just be
prepared for interjections like throughout this episode of like right now two walkers both wearing
a beanie boyfriend girlfriend all black outfits I don't know that was that sucked there's also
a white Tesla outside and I haven't seen it before um just people on walks okay so you probably you
probably could learn a few things here about building a brand maybe I don't know brand
aesthetic first thing I wrote what do you talk about on a Saturday night what do you talk slash
do the most so I was like a prompt and you know when I was thinking about building a brand like
what could I talk about all the time what do I talk about the most and let's reflect on that
um I mean obviously I talk on the show every day what do I talk about I mean anything and
everything I don't have a niche I never fucking niche down in fact second thing I wrote carve out
your niche and write it carve out your niche and write it what is my niche okay that terrifies me
there is something about I feel like my biggest fear as a content creator is fucking niching down
and I know that's good for like for as far as like building a brand and getting people's attention
they can always come to your shit for they like no whenever I go to Jacqueline's podcast
she's gonna talk about uh fucking coffee or whatever like like I was gonna say politics
fuck that no like I don't know it's a book club we're gonna only talk about books when we listen
to her that terrifies me because I don't want to be in a box I don't want to ever have to like
stick to one theme or do a certain I just like want to talk about whatever the fuck comes to my
mind so um but I wrote like what's my niche and I felt like for a long time I was in the
I just want to do like fashion and beauty and interior design or like you know decor and like
healthy food and like smoothies and like painting my nails and like share all my favorite products
and like that's like what I do all the time as a woman that's my full-time career like literally
I've mentioned this before like body maintenance okay anything related to my body how I look
hair nails skin tan um outfits like everything it's like that's a career in itself there's so
much time spent every day, and I don't mind, I actually enjoy it, that involves, like, maintaining
a physical, like, your, I don't know, like, your, how you look, and, and how, how nice your hair is
curled, and your fucking nail polish, and your, um, how flawless your skin is, and, you know, whatever,
so, anyways, I felt like that was gonna be, like, I could ride that niche for a minute, and, like,
post about beauty and fashion um next thing I wrote but now I'm just like that's an after that's
like or it's like an obvious thing that I don't want to have to like share with my audience like
obviously I apply moisturizer and I paint my nails it's like duh and I don't feel like there's
enough content out there I feel like I've maxed out of all of it there's enough content of people
doing that and like I don't want to add to that pile of bullshit that's just like getting
uninteresting it's so boring now like there's no I always say this
there's not gonna be a new eyeshadow palette that's gonna change anyone's life like the
all of the colors have been done all of the glitters and the matte blacks are like whenever
new palette comes out and they're like this black is the blackest black that's ever been made i'm
like you can't even tell when you put it on like if you have a fucking two dollar cvs wet and wild
black and a 80 chanel black you put that on someone's eyeballs it looks exactly the same
that's what i don't understand when people go into like well the technology of this formula
happens to stay on longer than the cheap brands so that's why it's expensive or like
like people get and I understand it's art and it's people's hobbies but it's just so interesting to
hear like at the end of the day if you if you put makeup on your face you can't even tell like
what's going on there it just like looks nice and anyways so wow sorry caffeine hi
next thing I wrote be honest and truthful about your personal brand and point of view
I was probably listening to a fucking Gary Vee podcast and I was taking notes
and then okay so my personal brand point of view okay whatever all caps specific as fuck
I don't want to be average at many different things anymore yeah I've talked about that in
the past where I felt like I was half pregnant on 10 things and I never committed to anything
and I was always like pulled in 10 different directions as far as interests and hobbies and
what I want to do with my life. And now I'm specific. Like I clearly am a podcast. I'm a
radio host, whatever you call this. I chose podcasting and I, that's all I give a fuck about
and all I do. And within that, this is the freedom of, and this is where I love podcasting and the
creativity that comes along with it. I can get on the microphone every single day and talk about
whatever I want and I didn't stick myself in a box where I have to you know and I'm not saying
people that are in they've niched down are stuck like obviously not but personally I wouldn't want
to um only talk about like a certain category of like I don't know fucking ah um I know guys
I understand the point of all that but uh I just don't care about like SEO and like you know growth
and like vanity metrics and like I don't even care about it I don't even like that's not the
point of the show and I'll say this I want to I want to address this because I understand how in
the past I've said like I just want the show to unfold however it does I want this to do like I
don't want to feel like I'm putting effort into this to make it grow and I realize like that's a
very um easy thing for me to say because I'm not betting on that like this is not I'm not like some
people where they're going all in and they're on their content they're like this is how I'm going
to make a living you know as you know I've I have a job so I have a way of making an income without
the um without the podcast so it's like easy for me to be like well I'll just do it every day and
it'll grow however it grows and I don't I don't like need to yeah so anyways um next thing I wrote
is this fun I don't know let me check in are you guys having fun is this boring
I mean we're gonna get down a list of like um ideas like it's cringy okay so
okay next thing I wrote
you have to be realistic about what God gave you what am I good at and I wrote my point of view
realness and humor cringe okay I like making people feel good about themselves I love laughing
and I wrote in quotes you can't control everything in life but you can control your attitude
dude, don't take anything too seriously. Life is not that serious. And I wrote that in like
all different lowercase uppercase. Life is not that serious. So me being realistic about what
God gave me, I'm actually, I feel like I'm currently, uh, like fucking doing that. I'm
being real and I'm, I'm, you know, sharing my point of view on shit every single day.
I'm hopefully making you feel good about yourself because as you know as a content creator my number
one priority is providing value to my audience every single episode and making sure that you
walk away feeling good it's a win-win I love I love you know how I feel when I'm done I feel
high on life I'm like I'm happy I got my day started I did a podcast I talked it out and then
in turn I hope you guys are like whoo that was fun I hung out with Jacqueline another day another
podcast I don't know I do enjoy that though I like making people feel good about themselves like
I think I mentioned the past my favorite thing to do it's like a game you know what and I just
think some people are like this or cut out for this or whatever this is like God made them for
this. Do you guys want me to talk about like, do it? Is that okay? I'm just saying God made me this
way. God made some people this way. They're the ones that like make people, especially strangers
feel comfortable by making light of a situation or, you know, joking about something in the room.
And then all of a sudden, or they're being vulnerable and they're saying something about
themselves. That's, you know, like letting their walls down. And then all of a sudden,
everyone around them starts feeling comfortable about you know the situation and the new people
or whatever it is and I think that's what I enjoy doing because I like saying shit that
people around me are probably thinking but they're not gonna say that is my favorite and I think
that's me that's because that's how I felt that's the that's like the way I uh was accepted into
popular groups in like high school and shit like I would be the fucking person in class raising my
hand and then I would say some crazy shit and then everyone would laugh and I'd be like oh they like
me because I I didn't feel like I fit in and that was like the only way I felt accepted and so I
that's never changed now I'm just like whenever I'm with new people I'm just like that person so
so anyways I feel like I'm being uh realistic about what God gave me okay
okay this is where I cringe so I get so as far as like the aesthetic
and the look and the feel of my personal brand the first thing I wrote is bubble letters
so I guess in so as far as like what my
um like anytime i write something or whatever i was gonna hand write
that shit in bubble letters i guess homemade feel bubble letters
rawness real pirate vibe pirate vibe okay this is why i'm cringing when i read this
earlier i was like wait why was i thinking of having a pirate vibe
I'm so confused it might I mean okay I'm trying to unpack this so I wanted I want my brand
aesthetic to be like childish childish with bubble letters I think it's because in my past
like when I think of like early 2000 shit like all I did all day was color like I would write a
word in bubble letters and like color it with crayons and I don't know so I guess I wanted to
like incorporate incorporate that into my brand I guess but yeah pirate vibe the fuck signature
accessory I feel like I'm doing that now like I definitely wear pearls every day
like especially when I podcast it's like a good luck thing my signature accessory yeah I feel
like it's my um my pearls like I feel like I've done that or I've like or yeah okay next because
I thought okay here's what I thought this is my thought process let me take myself back a couple
years I was like I admire you know when you look at like little Uzi vert right now is that who did
it and he's got a 30 million dollar diamond implanted in his on his forehead like when you
think of little Uzi vert you think of that 30 million dollar diamond on his forehead like you
think of him and that diamond it's like a thing that you associate right post Malone always tired
under his eyes he's got the fucking tattoos all over his face or you know there's a lot of and i
and i think it's because i've i'm like an observant person i study or just like i i i see that there's
a trend with a lot of uh creative people out there where they have a thing you know a hairstyle
a certain kind of you know fashion or like a style an aesthetic and what they they're wearing
a way they post on the internet whatever like tyler tyler the creator has a very it's like
very specific to him so i was thinking of myself i'm like what signature accessory could be like
jacqueline dude this proves how fucking full of myself i i think we all are like we are all
not i don't think everyone's called to do do this like i don't think everyone's called to be like
I want to be I want to have my own personal brand and share it with the world and like
be somebody I guess that's seen and heard but for whatever reason that's my calling I feel
inclined to do that probably from all of the other people online doing it and I'm like following suit
and I'm like well I have to get involved because it it looks fun like having a fucking aesthetic
it looks fucking fun but now this is cringy because I I just like I just want to be myself
and it I don't want to feel like I'm purposely doing anything like I'm purposely having a certain
accessory on every time I even though even though I do that when I podcast it's like a superstition
I'm like I have to have my pearls on but um this is kind of fun to look look at but yeah my I feel
like did you guys see that by the way he has a he got like a piercing of a fucking diamond on his
forehead next thing i wrote a signature food fuck i guess that'd be coffee it's like my i always have
coffee with me uh which is so original i mean who like i feel like every influencer on the internet
it's like I love iced coffee me a year ago by the way like this is very um embarrassing or
uncomfortable to read because I can't believe that I put effort into thinking about an aesthetic
in a brand brand for myself oh my god Brady Bunch Brady Bunch montage what the fuck
oh fuck okay this is an idea someone do it I don't know if I'll do it because I'll feel like a try
hard but um literally I thought how you know how Instagram's a bunch of um squares and I used to
watched the Brady Bunch growing up so I was like oh I can make videos that where I'm like looking
up and looking around but you know unfortunately when you look at Instagram the videos don't play
when you look at someone's profile so it wouldn't be that cool do you know what I mean like it'd
have to be um moving for it to be fun but I was like wait I could do like fucking what's the theme
song. The Brady Bunch. There was a story of a man named Brady. So anyways, I was just like
thinking of how I can make my Instagram look cool and do the Brady Bunch videos, like the heads. If
you guys know what that is, it's like all of the characters in the show are in a square and then
the Brady Bunch logos in the middle and they are all like looking around in their in their square
at the other characters anyways so that's embarrassing but I wrote it uh style super
feminine that's like how I would describe my style which um like I wrote heels red pink dresses
uh okay
why is that funny to me I wrote my style like my fucking outfits and shit are like feminine
super feminine dresses heels red pink as my colors and what I'm wearing which is true like I feel
like I'm very feminine and girly like as far as um but lately like literally 2020 changed me like
I turned that was my comfier my sweatpants here I just never really I barely dressed up you know
in comparison to my past and and I think it's funny how like I literally post like wanted to
have a style aesthetic that was dresses heels red pink
that's embarrassing I don't know just like this is why I'm like am I a psychopath am I
insane does someone out there relate to this are there other women who are like I want to be an
Instagram influencer and this is this is the way I want to come across does anyone write this shit
out or am I fucking crazy this is not me now by the way like this was me a few or a couple years
ago when did I write this I wish I dated it um zigzag hair part 2000s hairstyles so
does anyone remember parting their hair in a zigzag I wanted to bring that back
I thought I could like be unique and part my hair in a zigzag
and fucking look like Britney Spears in the early 2000s because no one's doing their hair in a
zigzag right now dude I should start doing that anyways like wait I would do that now I haven't
played around with a hair part like that I need to cut my hair so bad guys it's I don't relate by
the way like when people are like on I watch um like stories sometimes of my friends and girls
like getting extensions put in and they're like they're like talking about how their hair doesn't
grow very fast and they get extensions I'm like I don't know that life my hair grows so fast it
grows I have thick hair it grows fast I have a lot of it um I've never had a problem with like
hair growth and is that a flex I don't know I'm just saying like sometimes I'm like wait just
don't cut your hair like a lot of the times I watch people talk about how their hair doesn't
grow I'm like well because you get it trimmed too much you're constantly cutting it and that's why
it's not growing it's your every time you go to the hairdresser you're letting them convince you
to cut it. And I believe that's a, they have this compulsive need to use their scissors because you
might go there to get your roots done or some highlights or whatever. And they're like, I just
need to use my scissors at some point today. So they end the conversation or they end the hair
appointment with, you know, we could do a little trim. Do you want me to clean this up? Then you're
fucked then your hair's short all the time and they always take too much off and yeah so I just
thought that's like maybe that's something unique about me like I have a lot of hair
and I don't have issues growing it I also take biotin biotin and collagen
I hate this episode all right uh roaring 20s I knew we were going into the 20s
how could I bring back the roaring 20s in my own way um
oh my god this is a very vulnerable thing I wrote I want to love myself more and fall in love
holy fuck I want to love myself better and fall in love like fuck I'm 25 I wrote that's
embarrassing but that's also like we all feel like that sometimes right like you're just like
I just want to have more self-love and also fall in love
I wrote like my past relationships have been bullshit oh god
oh my god this is really deep what I wrote here
um oh I wrote I want I've I said I've always felt that my style has been classic
and I oh my god I can't believe I'm gonna read this I said I don't want to be another Instagram
Bratz doll which is I honestly I'll own that like I feel like the thing that helps or the thing that
I always go back to is as far as my aesthetic and style and like you can say what you want like I
understand like I post a lot of like basic bitch fucking like I don't know like I don't know what
I don't know but I always go back to like what would Europeans do or like what do the French
women do or what like the German women like they're just natural and classic and they don't
put on a bunch of fucking makeup and like juice everything up and I don't know I just like I'm
personally more intrigued by that and I feel like that's inspired that's more like that's where I
get inspo versus um you know most I'd say like the American girl way of doing things which is very
like Bratz dolly and I don't know and again the only reason this was my headspace at one point
because I was trying to think of like when you come across me what do you see and like what's
the vibe like I really thought I had to put that together and sell it in a package on my Instagram
at one point hey brand look at my aesthetic I'm cool I have something going on here hit me up
let's connect um and I've always been insecure about the fact like I never take nice pics or
like I never like when a photographer is like let's shoot I'm never like yeah let's do it and
I feel like all my pictures are shitty quality but whatever I don't give a fuck any like I don't
care anymore but I think at one point I was so in my head about it I'm like wait everyone's using
like a a nice dslr camera and they're having someone take their photo but they're always
using portrait mode like what the fuck am i doing in my bathroom taking a mirror selfie
it's you know it's time to upgrade
my lifestyle this is the next section oh jesus christ um i get excited about the day
i'm a morning person looking ahead at the day's tasks as i sip my coffee and read my schedule
makes me stupid giddy. I enjoy my life. That's facts. Okay. Oh, I don't know. Why did I say
that's facts? But I'll repeat that. I get excited about the day. I'm a morning person
looking ahead at the day's tasks as I sit my coffee and read my schedule makes me stupid
giddy. I enjoy my life. That's beautiful as fuck. I could put that in a frame. Literally, I
let me unpack that
this is when so what I just read is super um real or like that's how I feel when I have a lot of
momentum going in my life in every area where I don't feel like I'm I you know when I'm not having
a lot of setbacks or I'm not um you know feeling depressed or whatever the fuck like um that's when
I'm waking up with excitement every day and I'm looking forward to everything going on because
I have a lot of momentum and there's a lot of enthusiasm and energy about what I'm gonna do
that day and I understand like like that is a ever-flowing thing where sometimes I don't I
don't feel like my life is exciting and I'm looking forward to the day but for the most part
my goal or what I strive to do and I think I've mentioned this in you know the new year so far
I'm like I just want to ride this wave because I feel like I do have a lot of momentum right now
and the biggest lesson I've learned in my 20s or one of them is that
falling off that wave and having to get back on sucks and my life is hell so I'm trying to
not repeat the past and learn from my, I wouldn't necessarily call it a mistake, but a, um, learn
from that pattern and stay on the momentum train and ride the wave and stay up because
I think that's really when you get into the flow of, um, you know, life and you get closer and
closer to um you know internal peace you bitch I feel like whenever you're just like accomplishing
your goals and like you're killing the game in every area of like even down like this is honestly
I'm gonna include potty training I don't know why but like for me to feel like so right now I feel
a little setback because that's a shit show literally with my puppy but I feel like this
is like a weird example but like once that's in sync and in tune with my day and he's you know
my puppy's like getting it and he's holding it instead of pissing inside and like I'm just gonna
I'm like we're not gonna stop this this wave we're gonna keep going we're never gonna fuck
up again like I don't know that's a weird example um I wake up I like who I am I wrote
oh that's kind of deep should I just write that or should I just repeat that
how are you guys doing is this even fun I don't know this is kind of a selfish episode
to be honest I feel selfish because I'm literally talking all about myself
and how I think of myself but I think it's inside it might be interesting to see how my brain works
or what I wanted for myself at one point and how all of this let's be honest
all of this is because of social media and the internet and now so now I'm looking at it going
it's all bullshit like this literally none of this to me matters anymore it doesn't as far
as like the aesthetic and brand stuff goes like I don't I don't put a um it's not a priority in
my life anymore where I'm like oh like this is what I gotta do to be a person in the 21st century
you know but um it's literally all because of getting inspo from other people doing it on the
internet you know being a follower being influenced and thinking that I should I hate that I should do
it too and I don't think it's um I just did I just want to podcast every day and post it and like I
don't want to have a brand I'm like a fucking anesthetic and a color I don't know what else to
say um but anyways I wrote this I wake up and I like who I am I was lying when I wrote that there
is no way I I think I liked how that looked when I wrote it um at the time I wrote this I don't
think I was liking who I was now I can say that but I wake up and I like who I am now not fucking
a few years ago um mental privilege is the number one advantage in society right now
my parents have always believed in me which helps a lot I wrote in parentheses
yeah I think that's so true um I'm gonna say that that's so facts that's so facts
fucking Gen Z with a, the words that are like, I, I do say, what is it? There's
facts or cap, no cap fucking. I need to stop. But, um, that's true. Mental privilege
is the number. I feel like it's a huge advantage right now. Liking yourself, um, being genuinely
happy um I feel like that what why do I call that mental privilege is probably some fucking
Gary V thing I took a note on I don't think that was my own
uh thought I don't think I would come up with mental privilege maybe I did
um but in a world where everyone you know not saying everyone I don't want to say everyone
but a lot of people in this world hate themselves. They're, um, they feel like they're not good
enough. They are insecure about X, Y, and Z. Um, they're always striving to be better, do more,
more, more, more. And it's just like, like they're not at home with themselves. So they're
always seeking. Um, I think in that world, if you wake up and you like who you are and you're in
you're um just like liking yourself is an advantage and I don't know and I wrote my
parents have always believed in me which helps a lot yeah I will say that I'm pretty fucking
blessed um there's nothing I've ever done where my parents are like oh Jacqueline um like why
would you ever want to do that that's a stupid dream um you're not good enough for that like
I've never had clap back from my parents if anything they're being parents they'll give me
the you know the the advice and some guidance but they're never crushing my dreams and telling me
that I'm not good enough or they're usually um no they're not usually a hundred percent of the
time they're supportive because I think as parents their priority is my happiness like I sense that
like they want me no matter what I'm doing in life to be happy and that's I feel like I'm blessed
because of that dude how much more could I read on this am I done this is one of those episodes
where I'm like I hope it gets buried quick like I do it seven days a week so in a week this will
be kind of buried on the list this is one of the episodes I'm gonna walk away and I and I know I
shouldn't do this because guys understand I'm not a hundred percent secure that's a that's a joke
like there's always a little piece of me that's like that I have to fight and squash I go whoa
you just revealed a lot I think you overshared that was unnecessary I feel embarrassed and what
the fuck did I do that for but here's the thing I always go back to this and that's what I'm going
to tell myself after the episode my favorite people on the internet the people that I constantly
follow and watch and listen to are the ones that do that and they're they're very they're just
themselves and honest in every single avenue of their life and they are pretty unfiltered and I
think that's it's a refreshing thing to hear someone say their truths and say they're embarrassing
things because we all have that and I think that's something if I mean if you're listening
you can probably relate to me in some way with what I'm talking about um that's cool so I think
that's how you build as far as the podcast goes that's how I've built a little mini community of
people that um you know listen in and I think that the podcast relationship like with your
audience is probably the most intimate because I literally I'm like in your ear every fucking day
or I'm like always talking so whatever um okay there's just like a bunch of quotes I wrote
oh my god something about on my deathbed oh shit this is deep ready guys
on my deathbed I lived by the conscious voice inside of me
I lived by the conscious voice inside of me
versus what other people want from me slash what they wanted me to do. I followed my dreams.
Fuck. Okay. So that's fucking deep. I think that would be amazing. I think that's what
maybe you guys can um let me repeat it basically when I'm on my deathbed I want to feel like I
lived by the conscious voice inside my head that followed it followed my dreams and did what I
what my brain was like hey this is what you like go do this this is your passion this is what you
want to do go do that versus doing what other people uh wanted me to do or like
like living a life for other people and wow
it's the whole like oh you should be doing this or you should be doing that thing
and that's just a bunch of third parties going they're trying to be nice they're trying to tell
you what's best for you. And they're like, well, because they're, it's all based on fear. Like
if you follow your dreams into your passion, where's the, where's the, uh, where's the money
in that or whatever? Like a lot of, a lot of the times I think a parent, parents give their kids
advice based on, um, it's rooted in fear because they want their kids to be, um,
stable and not fucked in all the streets, you know? So they're like, take the fucking corporate
job and do the that route and uh it's stable and you get a 401k and you get fucking benefits and
and um which I believe in there's nothing wrong with that route by the way I'm not judging I
personally have done that I'm doing it in a way so um I think not everyone is supposed to be a
passionate creative who paints in their garage and sells it like and makes their living that way like
I think um always have a safety net I've always uh done this like no matter what I'm doing whenever
I pivot there's always a backup or safety net happening where I'm not fucked if I just choose
to go one way and go all in there's always a like a I have I always have a landing spot
to fall back on but um that's crazy I wrote that that's probably one of my favorite things I wrote
live by the conscious voice inside of me versus what other people wanted me to do I followed my
dreams successful people have the ability to focus and say no I wrote that probably something
I got from a fucking podcast I was a lot of the times I write shit it's like oh I was listening
to a podcast and got and took a these are like golden nuggets from probably other people talking
um is this even about my brand anymore I don't know these are just random things I wrote
yeah if I if I've um learned anything from successful people it's like they just
go in their little cave in their tunnel and they stay in their lane and they focus on their
whatever their thing is and they have the ability to say no and kind of like go dark and and go all
in on their thing so they can accomplish it instead of getting distracted all the time
so sometimes I think when you're building a brand or you're um a business whatever you kind of have
to do that you know I don't think you kind of do I think if you want to be successful
you can't be pussyfooting around a couple hours a day trying to build it you got to fucking
like marry it and like fucking go off the grid with it for a bit to really get it off the
fucking uh tarmac and get it into like the fucking plane off the ground
um I don't think you know what here's what's cool about the podcast I didn't really do that like I
just incorporated the show into my day that made like in a way that made sense like I
you know wake up and do it I do it at night it's just like it fits um I mean I could always do
more like I could just like post a thousand things on Patreon a day patreon.com slash tjms
I don't like plugging that I feel always I always feel weird when I plug my Patreon
even though it's like a fun thing for me to do because I call you guys and I shout you out and I
post like I make homemade videos for that about like random shit around my apartment and like
just like random videos of me um but yeah I have a it's a patreon patreon's like the bonus
exclusive content uh page of mine you can you know see all that stuff for a
low price of no you do pay a price to be a member so patreon.com slash tjms
oh god this is deep this is kind of deep it's kind of cool I wrote I'm happiest when I earn
things by working my ass off and knowing I did everything myself a career built on doing whatever
I want and not giving a fuck what anyone else thinks dude I'm fucking finally doing that I
wrote that what two years ago was this 2019 there's something about that yeah when you know
you earn something 100% because you worked your ass off that there's nothing when you whatever the
golden ticket or prizes at the end whatever you wanted that dream once you get it you feel so
much better than no then I feel like if you if you were using people or taking shortcuts or you
to something kind of shady to get it. Like, there's nothing better than going, I put my heart
and soul into this, and I achieved it, and I earned it. Damn. Am I a good person? I think I'm a good
person. All right. I think that's enough. Dude, I'm kind of burnt out of this episode, to be honest.
What did it start out as? Like, what could I talk about on a Saturday night or something like that?
bubble letters and shit what the fuck I want to oh I wrote this is like another thing I want to own
a choice I don't know I want to I'm writing down what I bring to the table fucking a
for me to be most authentic I need to be grounded and clear-minded
decluttering the noise is essential for my creativity and motivation to get what I want
I've been spinning like a top
when I want to launch like a racehorse I have a I have a digital clutter phobia
where I get overwhelmed by the chaos and content of my iPhone
memory cards laptops etc I have okay this is funny because like I felt so when I basically
put all this shit on a document because I was like I need to get all of the clutter from all
of the little memory cards and notes on my phone and shit I've written on one document
and streamline it because I felt like I didn't have a clear I was like uh I needed to like see
it in one place and go this is what I've written this is what I think like this is me you know and
I I have like this phobia with my phone like I have so many apps and all these like fucking
random little um loose ends everywhere that are just always like they're just annoying and I just
hate having that was I don't know I just like needed to clean it up and does anyone else just
like hate how many fucking pictures they have on their phone they don't delete and like I just see
my camera roll sometimes and I'm like oh my god I'm like OCD like there's so much random shit here
i just need to i need to delete like half of it anyways um that's my inner minimalist millennial
who's like it's got to be minimal and curated and you can't have clutter and
um all right happy friday i don't know why did i do this episode like this
um hit that subscribe button i'll be here tomorrow i'll be here all week dude i do this every day
I'm starting to think back to the beginning of what Whitney Cummings said and
I should I got it no but then I go well what did Tim say fucking bet on yourself bitch like
I know that sounds crazy I do it every day I'm betting on myself I love this this is my passion
I'm gonna do it every day and I'm gonna own that choice stand in my truth and fucking do it and not
be insecure about the fact I'm a woman and I'm talking this much. And, uh, yeah, so I'll, uh,
fucking meditate over that, uh, with another shot of espresso and, uh, I can send it this
weekend and keep going. I'm not going to stop. I'm not going to stop. Happy Friday. Uh,
