Hey guys, happy Wednesday. It's episode 159. Welcome back to the show.
hey guys what's up it's Jacqueline welcome back to the show
So happy Wednesday. Hi, how you doing? Let's do a podcast. Hit that subscribe button. I'm here
seven days a week and head over to patreon.com slash TJMS to get more of me. Go check it out.
I'm sick and tired of telling you guys it's the bonus content section. Everyone knows what
fucking Patreon is. Go check it out. Sorry, I have heartburn. I just ate a burrito and it got
me pregnant. Patreon.com slash TJMS. I'm going to be honest. I feel, I feel like I'm under pressure
today to perform because I've been promoting my shit on Clubhouse. You have to be really
enthusiastic about your, cause all, all people see is your bio and a picture of you. So I use a lot
of flames. I said seven days a week podcaster, the Jacqueline Monroe show, like, you know, here's my,
links and then you know my PR stuff and I just feel like I have a pressure day because I have
new potentially new listeners ah so fucking let's talk about something that uh pissed me aren't
uh just something I observed today I don't want to give strong I don't want to give my
okay well it has to do with asians okay i'm going to talk about that i'm going i'm going to
um go into my circadian rhythm we're going to talk about that we're going to dive deep into
my circadian rhythm we're going to fucking discover things about it because i need to
figure my shit out fucking a she's going to talk about being tired again and yep so get ready for
that that's gonna happen um and then just a couple things about what I did today like just random
shit and then I'm gonna go into an entire segment at the end all about managing an antique store
I don't know what happened I've done this what 159 days in a row I've never told you guys that
I used to manage an antique store in college uh consignment antique store and I want to talk about
that place and working there and just like what I was up to. So that's, that's going to be today's
episode. So, um, first off, it does feel like Christmas Eve. I will say I am, this is the last
day I will be using a button on my iPhone. Let's have a moment, moment of silence, silence for that,
please. Okay, now we're going to bow our heads and pray. Heavenly Father, why can't I fucking
talk tonight? Heavenly Father, thank you for creating Steve Jobs in your image, in your divine
image and giving him the combination of brain cells that invented Apple and Apple products and
uh amen and may he rest in peace amen look I don't know how I feel about this but I'm
I'm getting the iPhone 12 Pro Max or do you say iPhone 12 Pro Max how do you where do you put the
emphasis. The iPhone 12 pro max is just one thing to say, okay, I'm getting that tomorrow. It feels
like Christmas Eve. This is the last day I'm going to have a button. I'm using the iPhone seven plus
and, um, yeah, I don't know how I feel about it. I'm just kind of giddy. I got my case today. It's
got, it's pink and glittery and it has butterflies all over it. And I'm really excited to have a
fucking face ID. I don't know. I don't know. I actually don't know how I, how I feel about that.
Whenever I use people's phones now, I'm so like dumb. I don't know how to use the face ID. I don't
know where the home button is so I have a lot to figure out with my new phone so that's the thing
there's an update just randomly uh let's just get into the Asian uh why is my why is my Apple Watch
telling me to breathe Jimmy we're not gonna do this take your bone please just just play with it
thank you good boy okay he's got his post shit energy surge um so I'm dealing with that right
now while I podcast so anyways I was on an Instagram story this morning and it was a few
like okay okay Jimmy's ripping my microphone off hey
there he goes I threw the bone sorry hey new mom life I don't know what I'm doing
okay it's a learning curve podcasting having a puppy a three-month-old it's a lot and anyways
so yeah I was on an Instagram story like I rolled out of bed and I was on my phone I saw it and I
was like what the fuck is happening like no no um uh it's just so uh it seems like a reach
uh from what I'm observing it's like they're making something up out of thin air just to
fucking make a new movement for Asians and before I say anything else I'm sure you're thinking like
jacqueline isn't that a good thing like shouldn't we be marching out in the streets now for asians
and helping them if there's people now being murdered apparently um specifically asians now
like the black people being shot by police now it's asian like shouldn't we start a movement
for them like isn't that a good thing isn't that positive won't that help create change and end
racism fucking no it won't okay like it's literally this is as i'm observing this is from
my observation, I've literally just seen this in one day unfold. It's like, let's create a
shit storm out of thin air and just like target these specific murders and deaths of Asians that
have, there's like a handful. They're just like, people are listing off on their posts
and they're calling that racism in America against Asians. But when you put together
how many people die in it and die in a day and how many murders there are it's like these are
just the ones they're they're highlighting and they're they're putting on a pedestal and saying
well it's now look like four asian people just died in the streets one of them a teen got shot
by police when he has hands up let me just read the post they all say something along the lines of
the reason I'm frustrated by this is I just think this is not a okay how do I explain myself
is anyone else uh like I'm maxed out of all this social justice movement fucking babysit everyone
else everyone's got to be taken care of we have to march in the streets we have to put up signs
we got to make t-shirts we got to fucking it's just I don't believe it's necessary and I think
it's creating um division it's like actually making us more divided and it's making people
it's like you sound fucking insane like just let me read the post include asians in your anti-racism
an 84 year old thai man dies after being attacked in broad daylight by teen and sf
okay that could have been a white guy that could have been a black guy that could have been
a mexican guy he happened to be thai so he's asian okay there's one two pennsylvania teen
had hands up while police shot and killed him new video shows again he happened to be asian okay
do you see how this is starting to look like oh well it's police targeting asians now
fucking a here's some long thing i don't know um whose words these are it's just from the post i'm
on teach and transform is the instagram that posted this asian people are being murdered left
and right. I've been physically and verbally assaulted for being Asian throughout my lifetime
as well as just today. My family is on the receiving end of this as well. I don't expect
you to know that. I don't expect you to know that because you don't walk in my shoes but I'm telling
you now the silence around our murders and violence is deafening. Since I don't expect you to read my
mind on what I need I'm writing this email and with an ask. I'm asking you to say something and
I need you to be loud I need you to ask your communities to stop the attacks because these
attacks are not internal don't I sound like I'm absolutely heartless soulless insensitive like I
don't care about people dying like doesn't don't I just sound like that like I don't give a fuck like
I'm just commenting on the insanity of this it's like what about like there's so like you just
have to keep things in perspective about the data the data the data of deaths and murders and and
think of it in terms of a bit like zoom out instead of zooming into these specific scenarios
of a few asians getting murdered and go okay overall there's a pretty even spread here or
you know i mean some groups are it's just it's not a target on asians fight me come at me in
the dms like I just want to guys from clubhouse we talk shoot me a dm I feel like I got new
clubhouse uh a lot of I find that people from clubhouse are very um like social in the messages
and the dms they're just like I just want to connect and network and get to know you and like
fucking follow your shit and help you grow and learn and let's all help each other out it's like
this cool new community so yeah let's debate or let's talk about this anyways like what's this
asian americans cannot look for safety from the same agencies that terrorize black americans what
we have to resist the us versus them mentality like this seems like it's fucking
coming out of thin air covet has made life difficult for so many people the resources
we have are better spent making sure everyone's basic needs are met this makes zero sense what
are the comments on this post um easy for you to say jacqueline you're white
our cries to end and these are like sexy graphics like these are just like
perfect for instagram our cries to end anti-asian violence cannot include anti-black racism
wait our cries to end anti-asian violence cannot oh like you can't be racist against black people
but and defend asians well no fucking shit this is like this is what this drives me insane
this is fucking obvious duh don't discriminate don't be racist against anyone but they're like
making it a specific thing like well you know if you decide to be racist against blacks um
unfortunately um that can't you can't we you can't include that if you're also if you can't
be that way if you're going to defend asians and and and anti-asian violence as this post says like
what the fuck sorry guys i just got heated when i saw this i'm like here we go are we gonna do a
fucking what we do for a black square again a fucking uh protest in the streets and it's just
like our i'm just my uh concern with this stuff is are we gonna see like a new bubble or boom of
asian lives matter and
i don't know how's how's the world ever gonna change how's the racism ever gonna end jacqueline
And if we don't address these issues and help our fellow Asian Americans out and blah, blah, blah.
Trying to read more here.
Okay, I'm just honestly trying to educate myself at this point.
Unless you're Asian, you probably have not heard about the rise of vicious hate crimes against the Asian community since the media isn't covering it with the same urgency afforded to white communities.
okay in the past week alone so here's here let's count 84 year old man died okay the Thai guy and
yep then we got the 64 year old woman assaulted and and robbed she didn't die okay so a Vietnamese
Asian so a Vietnamese American woman was assaulted and robbed there's two she was 64 okay we got a
61 year old Filipino American slashed in the face of the box cutter on the subway okay there's three
these are these are just some of the stories those are three stories of that us asians hear
about daily but see little coverage on it in mainstream media since the start of covet 19
asians have seen a 1900 increase in hate crimes in america it's a reporter that one in every four
asian americans has experienced anti-asian hate amidst this fucking
I'm asking for anyone to read this
what's that stat
1900% increase where's that coming from
basically they're pissed
off the media isn't covering it
you know what
is there money in anti-Asian racism
figure that out and then they'll
fucking talk about it
start making t-shirts start like fucking
making
make this
make this worth the media's time it's got to make the money somehow i don't know i don't know how
else to say it i think the black people getting shot in the fucking face by police white police
officers was i sound so this is you know i'm just letting it fly you know what this will happen
sometimes i'm speaking my truth it's like okay so a 64 year old woman was assaulted and robbed
okay this is a one little case that happened over the past week out of the three they listed
assaulted and robbed okay so you're saying this post is basically saying
why is why isn't the media covering that
how do you know how how many people get assaulted and robbed every day think about that like that's
why i'm like people sound insane posting this they look insane i'm like
how is that and i i need to understanding to find out where that uh piece of uh data came
from the 1900 increase on hate crimes against asian americans like where's that i need to
source cited i need to figure that out um because it's hard to believe everything you
see on social media right you know and so like let's compare that woman being assaulted
to uh you know whatever however many minutes George Floyd was fucking under that cop's knee
and all those videos of black dudes getting shot down by white cops like
of course the fucking media is going to report on that
they're getting I mean I don't know I guess that one Asian kid got shot on the bridge right I don't
know guys it's so I hate that I just don't like watching the news I'm like it's just
it's a fucking business figure out a way for them to make money off of Asian Americans
getting discriminated against and they'll fucking post it they'll fucking talk about
it it's good it's because it's I don't know okay everyone has a platform a voice and a
responsibility. We all have the right to feel safe. All we want is for you to not brush over
the racism that we experience and to acknowledge and take strides to be anti-racist to all minority
groups including Asians. What are the comments on this? Is anyone against it? I just want to
see if there's anyone that's like debating this. Thank you for sharing and raising awareness. Thank
you for sharing and spreading this message I stand with you thank you for sharing
I'm just saying like I'm the type of person where it's maybe it's just not obvious to everyone I
feel like okay this is why I feel like it's not the racism isn't real like social media makes it
seem like okay obviously there's pockets where it is a it's a fucking issue there's you know
um you know guys do you want me to talk about me as a white woman being discriminated against in
my experience in washington dc with black people you know do i should i talk about uh the racism
I've experienced can I do I am I allowed to do any of that say anything about that
I'm just at the point in life now where I'm like treat people how you want to be treated
I feel like when I'm out in the out in public out the grocery store out traveling fucking traveling
traveling it's cool people are nice it's all love there isn't oh my god there's skin to oh
first of all let's go back because it's about asians oh my god they have their face looks
different than mine um and they have a smaller nose or whatever their character their asian
features are oh my god they look different than me so therefore because of that i'm not going to
treat them right i'm gonna discriminate against them i'm gonna be an asshole to them when i
interact with them and i'm just going to be completely racist and hate everything about them
literally we'll talk about so the so speaking of asians like i literally worked retail for
retail i worked in uh like clothing and luxury retail for like four years
close to vancouver bc where there's a huge asian population and
like, they're, I feel, why, why do I have to, like, say, oh, I've, I've interacted with so
many Asians in my life, like, I'm fucking, like, I, of course, I'm not racist towards them or
anything, I just, like, I just think people are pretty cool, and, and you get discriminated
against, or you get assaulted if you fucking, like, what did that lady do, what did she do to
get assaulted you know like where where's the story about the kid on the getting shot by police
you know with his hands up like what there's you know it's just the fact that I don't know I need
to just get off this topic guys I need to talk about uh what was like what was I going to talk
about oh my the antique store I used to work at just trying to see if there's anyone saying anything
about this why aren't the celebrities saying anything someone comments I'm reading comments
why is it so hard to treat everyone equally no matter how you look
or come from like this what I'm saying three this this is people are so like hyped up on the
there's like thousands of comments and it's like they're hyped or they're they're uh emotionally
charged and like oh my god that's horrible yeah we need to support asians from fucking reading
three cases that happened over the last week uh or two of which are just assault
thai man pushed and killed okay so that happened 84 year old man was uh
uh, that the Thai man was killed. The 84 year old Vietnamese woman was assaulted. Okay. She was not
in robbed. Okay. And then we got the Filipino Asian, the 61 year old Filipino American was,
uh, cut in the face. So one guy died. And so I'm, I'm basically saying that people are reading this
going, Oh my God, how horrible assault, assault and murder. Oh my God. Okay. Oh yeah. There's
racism against Asians in America we gotta fucking create a movement like support our Asians like
great awareness is great okay now we know these things happened but all I'm saying I guess my
the reason I'm going so I'm so passionate about this is I feel like um it's you can I'm I'm
witnessing today I witnessed the how social media can turn a brush fire into a fucking forest fire
into a fucking australia on fire like a huge thing and like who knows what we'll see over
the course of the year with asian racism against asians maybe that's that that will be 2021's new
fucking movement i don't know
it's just the dramatics the uh how do i say this it's the it just seems insane because like i said
could have been a you know the man that got slashed in the face of the box cutter could
have been a fucking mexican dude was it in a san jose or it could have been a fucking
um white dude it could have been a black you know it's just like they found it's like they
did it's like they searched like the fucking reports the police reports are like okay let's
find three asian stories let's like find three asian murders or assaults and we can post put
this post together and say that asians are getting discriminated against because we need more
representation on the media from there's what 300 plus million people 300 million plus people
in america like there's i don't know let's see if there's anything else about this
this is devastating and infuriating thank you for continuing to speak up
and spread this information i will continue to highlight this subject and your work
oh my god
okay this is like the
I'm re I'm just like watching this sorry I wonder I I just wonder what like I have the
opposing opinion to all this shit obviously I'm like on the other side of like going what the
fuck is this why are we talking about this why are we uh dramatizing these three cases and making
it now there's we got it okay fucking let's pivot I'm fucking I learned that phrase from uh
clubhouse. Let's pivot. I'm going to reset the room. Uh, that's what we also do on clubhouse.
I'm going to reset the room. It's Jacqueline speaking. You have to like, say, uh, you have
to say like Jacqueline's finished speaking or Jacqueline speaking. Like you have to address
that. It's like walkie talkie or over and out. Do you guys know clubhouses I've talked about?
i think i talked about it yesterday dude well okay wait i'm coming down from that uh
racism asian thing i saw today i'm coming down from that convo with myself going
this is why it's a struggle living in this current climate of
having to fucking watch what you say and cancel culture. And you know what? Here's what I have
to say to that. This is what, this is my, maybe it's my ax to grind as a content creator and
just like my fucking, like, I will do this until the end. Um, I'm all about being the change you
wish to see. And in this kind of world, I'm going to do, I'm going to say, I'm going to,
I'm gonna speak my mind say it how it is uh keep it real every time I get on the microphone I'm
not gonna I'm not gonna sugarcoat things I'm not gonna be like you know I'm gonna say it how I
think it and um I know that and this is what's cool this is why I love you know the listeners
of the show and the whole like community I've created is it's like that's what that's what um
what am i fucking saying it's like nice that people find the content they click with and
that they vibe with and they enjoy listening to or watching and they watch it and the people that
don't don't so i think who was i listening to of course probably i think i was on i'm like on
clubhouse with tim dillon every fucking night like he goes on there and talks to people but
i think it was last night he was saying that in the future he's saying that
people are just gonna find the corner of the internet that they vibe with that they like
and they're just gonna watch that stuff follow those people so there's gonna be these little
pockets everywhere on on the internet instead of having mass appeal to everyone instead of being
like the disney channel superstar that all the like the lizzie mcguire the hannah montana where
you know everyone across america loves it's like no you're gonna be you know helga from fucking uh
hey Arnold and like 90% of the people are going to hate you but the ones that do will like you
a lot and then you're going to be in that little pocket talking to them addressing them giving
them content and then that was a weird example I don't know where that came from but you'll build
a following that is it's kind of nice I think it's going to be more like online communities
will be more I don't know what I'm fucking saying dude I just like regurgitating what he said um
it made sense the way he said of course when I say it it fucking doesn't but instead of like
universal appeal mass appeal where your content speaks to everyone addresses everyone and is uh
acceptable by most people uh I think it's gonna I think what creators are realizing and I'm
realizing is you kind of have to say it like it is do your thing and the people will come
and don't worry about and I and I think we're all kind of maxed out of the cancel culture shit
where we're just like all right well I know that some people aren't gonna like it but that's fine
I'm gonna keep doing what I'm doing because there are people that will and I think if you keep that
in mind and you're not um changing who you are dumbing yourself down playing small to appeal
to everyone then you got a career in this shit I think I've said it since the beginning I'm like
I'm willing to be hated I'm willing to be canceled I'm willing to say it speak my mind and uh be
honest and real um because that's what I I want everyone to do we need we need that like we need
people to disagree it's it's healthy it's not it's not um it's normal in fact I was in clubhouse
Let's get to that real quick. I'm on a tangent. I was going to talk about working at a fucking
antique store. What's happening. I was in a clubhouse today and we were talking about,
um, I was a fly on the wall. I was just listening. And, uh, they were talking about neuro neuro link
topic was like, everyone's talking about Elon Musk and neuro link. And, uh, someone said like,
you know, it's going to be great for the future because you know, having conversations with
people now how like you'll be talking to someone and you'll say something and it'll rub them the
wrong way and they won't really get it you're not on the same wavelength and you end up offending
them well the great thing about Neuralink is that people will be able to like read your mind
and so everyone will be on the same page and they'll all like get along
and then also if your serotonin dips and you're sad your Neuralink will like reboot it so you'll
always be happy and I was working this was like in the background of my I was like on a fucking
spreadsheet I was just like working and I'm like listening to this going
this is the problem we're supposed like wait a minute time out reverse it's okay to be sad
first of all it's healthy you should feel every emotion that's part of being a human being
not uh getting offended or disagreeing with someone is normal it's healthy it's good you
need that it's like having a rudder it's like you need something to like steer you around and like
make you think and make you go it's like a ping pong you know in life you're like okay it's it's
how we it's like you have to tread something there has to be some sort of traction you're going
against it can't always be smooth sailing you got to have like a some sort of thinking of a
fucking rototiller, fucking, what's a good example, you need friction, you need, that's a,
it's like, you can't, if life is just easy, everyone gets along, everything's agreement,
it's like, what's the point, especially happiness, like, if you're always happy,
I feel like that's, you're gonna, it's like being numbed out, I don't know, so anyways,
I was just like, what the fuck? And also I was going to ask a question like, what's so wrong
with communication that we have to read, read, read each other's minds? You know, why, why is it
now like, okay, well, everything's fucked with our communication to the point where we just
fuck it. We're going to implant something in our head so we can read each other's minds.
Now believe, just hear me out when I say this, I am a huge Neuralink supporter. I think it's
going to be amazing for people with dementia, Alzheimer's, neurological disorders. I think
that's what I'm excited to watch in my lifetime um obviously it's so cool like if you could just
read someone's mind or play your Spotify in your head and like you know that's amazing that is so
cool and so um interesting right but um I think we're fine I think if anything we need to
look up from our fucking devices and talk to each other and disagree and debate and have
conversations like that again, because, uh, this whole, like everyone's fighting on the
internet thing is fucking dumb. Cause like, think about it. This is what's weird. This is what's
weird to me is your, your, and I'm speaking from my experience. So maybe you relate to this,
maybe don't my experience of uh people hating on each other yelling at each other fighting with
each other is exclusively on the internet it exists online and that doesn't have any weight
to it to me that doesn't have any substance it's just um when you think of what's actually
happening in reality so then when I my experience of walking out in the world and seeing that is
once in a blue moon you know I'll be out you know at dinner and then a couple dudes are yelling at
each other over a girl or fucking whatever it is you know or people out in the streets like maybe
someone's throwing a punch and then there's a cop breaking it up you know like every now and then
there's that shit but it's not like think about this the level of uh hate and and arguing and all
that bullshit online does not reflect or does not occur in reality and I don't think people
consider that because your because your view it's what this what's weird is like our view of the
world is now distorted because of what we observe how we observe other people interacting online
and it's just like it's it's so like that's why I'm like wait a minute if we need to
we need to revert back and reset our brains to go okay so in my community in my town I'm safe
people are nice for the most part um you know whenever I'm with my friends we're we all leave
and no one has a black eye and you know it's like life's okay because everything is so fucking
inflated on social media and I and I tweeted I put together a little fucking formula in my brain it
goes proximity divided by intimacy is the amount that someone will hate you equals the amount
someone will hate you the internet has increased proximity like at this point anyone is a profile
click away but there's no increase in intimacy so that means you can tap around all day long on
hundreds of people's profiles the proximity is just one click away and you're in front of 700
new strangers in a day if you wanted to on twitter or on instagram or on wherever but there's no
increase in intimacy so you don't actually know them you don't actually know their story you don't
know their life experience you don't know where they come from you're just seeing a few posts that
that, um, you might disagree with, right? Let me just fucking see what I finished that with.
I forget the ending. Um, I like tweeted it and then I deleted Twitter, but I have a screenshot.
The less you actually know someone, the more you can hate them.
And I said, in my opinion, this is why the internet is dividing us right now. Yeah. Like
if we don't know each other's experience, our life experience, we don't know each other's stories.
we don't know where each other where each other comes from we just see like a few pictures on a
profile and a few tweets a few and then we're like fuck you and then it's like this it doesn't make
any sense it's not real that's my whole point none of this is real and I don't know how we
uh revert back and or just become more aware of that in our behavior and how we how we um
perceive people through a screen because why guys life is not that fucking serious like this shit
like that's why i'm looking that's why i really got um upset or just like pissed off at the
fucking post all about racism against asians in america like i'm just
it shows that we can literally create something out of literal thin air and we could just
call out a few cases of assault violence murders whatever package that up throw it out say
asians are getting discriminated against asians are getting you know
there's a racism against asians in america we got them
i just saw a lot of celebrities post about it today and i go oh fucking here we go as soon
as they get on this then it's here to stay then they're gonna fucking make the t-shirts and do
the fucking posters and fucking, I don't know. Um, yeah, I don't like how, to be honest, I don't
know why I'm on this. I'm kind of ranting tonight about the way the world is and just communication.
It's all started when I fucking roll out of bed and looked at my phone. That's probably a bad
thing. Um, for a while I wasn't doing that. I think I talked to you guys about that. I was like,
yeah, I'm putting my phone in the other room. It's great. Cause when I wake up,
I don't check in. I should have been doing this forever. But anyways, I feel like that started
my day off on the wrong foot. And then like, remember I was going to dive into my circadian
rhythm. Like guys, I, I know I've got a puppy and you know, I've had him now for a few weeks and
the sleeping was really rocky at the beginning, but it's literally just as bad lately. And I
haven't been, I don't think I've been telling you guys about it. Like I am a zombie all day.
and I just feel like I need I don't know if I need a like a week off I don't know I just seem
to like get serious about going to bed at the exact same time waking up the same time just get
consistent with it because I just I feel like shit I don't know I feel and I'm being hard on
myself I'm like why I'm in my 20s I should have energy I should be like getting up at 5 a.m doing
a fucking workout like I used to you know what am I doing anyways um yeah let me just maybe I
don't want to fucking talk about the antique store can I talk about that tomorrow just know like just
know this is what I want to want to tell you about it um I managed an antique or consignment antique
store a boutique what do you call it like all three there was like furniture and clothes and
jewelry and shoes and like all this fun stuff, girly stuff. But yeah, I was going to tell the
story of like working there and, um, my favorite things about it. And it was going to be like a
lighthearted episode and you know, but, um, I just feel like getting out my thoughts about the way
the world is now and, um, how I see things and I don't like it. I really, uh, to be honest, I'm
can't change it it's the way it is but um I think I crave a
a rawness again a realness a fucking down home American pie apple pie American girl next door
what am I fucking saying like basic shit and I don't relate I can't relate to all these dramatic
ass people on the internet and here's the thing Jacqueline just don't follow these people just
don't look just don't watch it but I'm very observant I it's like I need it part of what
makes me tick is people watching watching what other people do analyzing human behavior going
why are they like this why are they so convinced why are they so um emotionally charged by
fucking everything that's not sunshines and rainbows you know how did we become this way and
I and I don't I I don't want to just ignore it and act like it's not happening and not
address it on the podcast or say any thoughts about it because
it's
Jacqueline you're this is the thing I I forget of course there's a podcast I always say that
it's probably a podcast I was watching like a couple years ago it was like a comedy podcast
someone I don't even know like I didn't know the comedian but he said something along the lines of
like every year I get older I just stop giving a fuck I get I like stop caring about changing the
world and solving all the world's problems and and fixing shit he's like I just the older I get
the less I'm just I'm just like tuned out fucking whatever shit's always gonna be on fire year after
year after year it's not nothing is ever gonna be perfect and as soon as you have that realization
and you're just like let other people do their social justice movements and they're worrying
and they're freaking freak outs and their posts they're fucking sexy instagram uh memes and
graphics with their cutesy little colors and flowers and fucking shit and cartoons and let
them all have their heyday with that and and feel a sense of closeness and community with stranger
strangers on the internet uh let them do that thing and then just don't get involved or fucking
give it energy or pay attention to it because they're just let them worry about that
so anyways I just feel like saying that I'm kind of at the point where I'm like fucking Jacqueline
I know you're a little heated or you're a little pissed but just like sit back drink your LaCroix
chill out you're not going to change the world you're not going to save the world
um let Elon Musk do that let him fucking do that like fucking Hollywood celebrities change
all the problems with you know racism and anti whatever the fuck um
I don't know dude who has COVID how's it going are we still what's happening with that I just
want to pivot again. Let's reset the room. COVID cases. Oh, COVID-19 case counts have
started falling in the US. This may be why. South African coronavirus strain found in
California oh fuck I don't know I don't even give a fuck I'm just it's not out of sight out
of mind for me of course I'm mindful and I'm conscientious in public but um I don't know
I don't think we're looking at a another year of the dramatics of 2020 and coronavirus I don't
think it's going to be uh at that level and i think we all know why because it was because it
was an election year and they wanted to use that shit against trump speaking of trump uh key moments
from day two of trump's trial the trial brought graphic new footage and audio of the capital riot
as democrats sought to connect the violence to the former president i'm on cnn.com let's click it
impeachment trial day two i didn't even see what happened day one the second day of former
president donald trump's senate impeachment trial brought sobering new security footage
and police radio audio of the u.s capital insurrection as democrats sought to connect
the violence to trump's repeated election fraud claims and his january 6th speech
he told them to fight like hell and they brought us to hell that day
rep jamie raskin the lead impeachment manager said as he kicked off the white house kicked
off the house's presentation the evidence will show that ex-president trump was no innocent
bystander standard standard the evidence will show that he clearly incited the january 6th
insurrection, okay, blah, blah, blah, so, anyways, they're trying to impeach him, and, uh, day two,
yeah, okay, we know Pelosi was evacuated from the Capitol complex entirely, of course, she was,
Schumer in a security detail, he had to run for riders, okay, mom came dangerously close to Pence,
mom came dangerously close to Pence, Pence was probably living a, like, fucking loving it,
I don't know that was like a movie there was nothing honestly the capital right was like the
most wild and I thought it was the funniest shit I've ever seen like it was like am I watching a
movie or is this real life like it was that fucking insane and I you can't if you can't
laugh at that if you're I don't know that's just me I guess I was like this is some quality content
right now and this is real life and i think that's when people are saying now that that's
that's literally the manifestation of what's going on online um the manifestation into
actual real life reality then they actually go out and do what they're going to say they do all
like they're on the internet plotting and then they fucking do it i don't know um
what else do I have to add today I could talk about the antique store but I don't want to
what pisses you guys off shoot medium let's just bitch it out I don't know that's why this feels
good that's why I like podcasting because sometimes I'm like you know I'm here to rant
I'm here to bitch and you know what it's like a release I have so much sometimes I have days
where I'm so full of angst and like I have thoughts and I just need to release them I need
to get it out and I love podcasting because like this is the perfect way for me to do it
and it's like I'm on the fucking edge of the cliff every day I'm like just jump bitch press
record and jump and just send it just say what you're say what's on your mind hope for the best
hope for the best but like I said in the beginning I'm down for whatever you know the hate the love
the um both like i don't to be honest like i think one of my proudest accomplishments as a
young woman is that i'm literally at the point where i don't care i'm not trying to please i'm
i've done people pleasing i'm done trying to adjust myself fix my fucking balls and adjust
my personality and what I say to uh appeal to other people like no and I'm proud of that I want
to uh maybe inspire others to do that someday or now just do it now it's not that hard like that's
when I say life is not that serious like you don't need to run around like a chicken with your or
scaredy cat chicken with your head caught you don't need to run around on eggshells your whole
life worrying what other people think of you and their opinion and like that's a cliche everyone
says that but who actually lives that who actually does that because I feel like it's a lot of people
and I'm speaking from experience I in the past a lot of people do it I used to do that I used to
run scared I used to be uh anxiety ridden with like social anxiety and like oh my god like if
I say the wrong thing or stupid today in clubhouse I was in the same chat with the
the people talking about Neuralink and I just want to tell this girl I was like just fucking
say it how it is she's telling me about or she told the group about like I I don't understand
how like comedians can just be so nonchalant and confident with what they say and they're
so unfiltered and uh they just say it because whenever I'm in conversations with people
I'm always trying to make sure everyone feels okay like with what I'm saying and I feel like
I have to I know I'm thinking something but I'm gonna always make sure I say it so it's nice and
it comes out the right way I'm like that sounds like a living fucking hell obviously there's a
time and time and a place, the workplace, you know, um, probably that's it. Uh, in front of
elderly people, like new, like, I don't know. Um, but that sounds like a living fucking hell.
Like feeling like you're, you want to say one thing, but you can't because you're worried that
it's going to offend someone and you live a life of editing yourself all the time. Fuck that.
happiness equals say it how it is bitch just say it how it is
it's like um it's like let your freak flag fly what is the saying just
nobody is you and that is your power
I guess it's easy for me to say because I I've discovered that people like me for my winning
personality and um they actually prefer they they they like me for the winning they they like this
they they fucking okay I am tooting my own my own horn I've discovered that being myself 100%
saying it like it is is more appealing to people or it attracts people to me more than
be in my little fucking lost puppy early 20s so fucking don't want to think about her
love her but wow
um why is it that um men always tell me
okay do I want to let's pivot again I'm playing with my Crest White Strips I need a drink
I've told you guys how I feel like I've there is a I was in a relationship
one of my most recent guys I was dating pretty sure he cut things off because he couldn't handle
uh he wanted to be the quote-unquote funny one the entertainer in the relationship he didn't
it seemed like I was it was like a weird thing where we honestly like had the same so we had
this a very similar humor but I just feel like what sometimes with his comments towards me it
was like oh don't be like that or like holy fuck like I can't believe you said that or like you
know whatever and I feel like it's been a turn off but also a turn on because then I also get
you're the only girl that can make me laugh and I don't think girls are funny
or you're actually funny or like they go and like they'll say like why am I saying this okay
fucking a Jacqueline now I'm in now I'm and I feel fucking annoying now I'm just highlighting
the fact that I think I'm funny and that's gross and that feels disgusting to say but look what do
you call like little boys that ham it up like I was a ham as a child like I've always had
that comedic sauce and that charm in my blood and in my veins. It just comes out of me. It's like
my natural resting state. I'm an entertainer. I just like to make people feel good about
themselves. I like to break the ice in the room. I like to make people feel comfortable. I like to
say it like it is because it feels good for me to just be honest and raw. And so fuck it. You know
what? I've gotten that comment so many times. I'm just going to fly with it. But I'm kind of at the
point now where I'm realizing that moving it, moving forward with men in relationships and
dating that, um, you gotta be cool with it, man. You gotta be like down for it. You gotta be like,
Hey, that's okay. I know you're, uh, gonna be entertaining a lot. You're going to say a lot.
And, um, I don't know the, the, the insecurity I have about it, to be honest, let's talk about me
being like in my head about my personality and just like, cause this is my therapy session with
myself. Let's talk about it. This is my audio diary. This is the part where I'm going to assess
my good overanalyze myself, overthink it and spiral. Let's get into it. I have this
uh perception or I have this idea of a woman like the man being more assertive and aggressive
and dominant in a relationship than the and the woman being more um is the word docile submissive
like meek or smaller like you know nurturing all those qualities which is the way it should like
just saying it, that's the way it should be, okay, that's what I believe in, that's my, you know,
that's what, that's the dynamic of relationship I'm looking for, that I like to be in, that's my
personal preference, that's what works for me, okay, just my, like I said, might not be for you,
but that's what I like, so the reason I'm going to spiral right now is I feel like I'm, I come
across so like aggressive assertive and dominant and like masculine energy with my fucking rants
and my words and how I talk and I and then I go listen to girls on podcasts that I love listening
to and they're just like so today we're going to talk about self-care and how to apply your
skincare in three steps so that it all absorbs the best way possible so it's effective on your
skin for anti-aging. Wait. Am I on the mic on Clubhouse? Oh, fuck. Am I talking? Am I
on stage? Wait. It's literally Tim Dillon talking right now. Let me fucking turn this
shit I'm sorry
dude I have no idea what just happened
that was crazy
but I mean I was
something happened right
I mean this wasn't me
this was a technical issue
yeah it was a technical issue
I think that it was around the announcement
like I think like
Jacqueline
oh they said
zeppelin and i thought they said jacklyn sorry wait i don't want to leave it damn i just
accidentally left do they want to make me a fucking moderator sorry i'm on a i'm in a clubhouse
with uh uh tim dillon and a bunch of other people right now and um sorry but i listen to their
fucking hey jack but you know what i mean and then i get insecure about myself i'm like well
why am I like this why am I so like brash and like fucking because I've mentioned it before
you guys know this about me like when I I'm just hanging out with myself and I'm just like
being a bro with myself and being the chillest girl ever and being like dude bro fucking
saying the f word every two seconds and you know like that's just the nature of like
podcasting by yourself however as i've said in the past like
and here's me trying to sales pitch or sell myself and be like well
in reality when i'm i get i'm actually very shy when i'm around i i actually
well this is kind of a weird dynamic about my personality i feel like i
you get this when i'm really comfortable with you
like this uh level of jacqueline and like my opinions and my angstiness and like you know
this is where this is me shooting the shit because i'm friends with you
and I trust you and like we've bonded over something however if I'm just like I was I was
letting Jimmy do his thing out in the grass earlier and a couple walks by with a a cute
it was like a pitbull it was really cute and um I just went like after that interaction I'm like
holy fuck like when I talk to strangers I'm like oh this is Jimmy yeah he's three months old yeah
he's new to this he's brand new to seeing other dogs and I'm just like so like and that's like
when I'm with a I was like hey what's up yeah this is my new dog his name's Jimmy yeah that's
cool how old's your fucking pitbull like I don't talk like that to fuck you know what I mean so
why I'm even analyzing myself right now and going into this um I don't know
I'm sexy and cute though when I talk to new boys and cute boys and like strangers that are cute
and I just like get shy and I get like giddy and like I don't know
I'm playing with my cell phone and it's on its last legs and this is the last time I'm
use the button on the fucking
iPhone 7 plus
let me get back
into that clubhouse
Tim Dillon is on this thing
every fucking night and it's interesting
who he's friends with like
people will come on stage and i'm like why are you friends with like josh richards or fucking
like these tiktok boys um damn there's so many people in here it's such a cool thing for um
like finding your tribe finding people like you like you can search groups that
like different categories of like you know pod like i'm in like a female podcasters one
at club jacqueline you can follow me
how many followers i get today i think i got i don't know the server's like it crashes all the
time boopity boop boopity scoopity oh i posted kind of a dumb instagram picture i kind of
want to delete it me in a fucking beanie looking tired i don't know it was one of those days you
know, it was one of those days. I'm just like, Hey, Jacqueline, get to bed earlier. Come on.
All right. Um, sorry, I guess. Um, if you were offended by that Asian racism fucking segment,
like all of like all my life i've been friends with asians like all of my life like best friends
the people i've worked with like you guys i don't think i need to like say oh i have nothing like
what i said earlier sounded insensitive and probably fucking uh yeah racist or whatever
Like I didn't care that those people were getting assaulted and everything, but, um, that wasn't what I was talking about. I was talking about the big picture of the whole thing and the, the, the, uh, dramatics and the, the, um, invention of the whole story and the whole second thing about it.
think it's um not good not good I it isn't real that's where I'm going I always I think I
address that too like what's actually happening isn't what people are it's doesn't sync up with
the online world it doesn't and I don't know how we bridge that gap I really don't
I don't know how we bridge that gap um
it's a safe it's a safe place like you were you can say a lot of uh extreme shit on the
internet it's like would you so you're posting these insane memes but like i don't know are
it's not like you're out in the streets shouting it with a fucking megaphone
i don't know jimmy he's taking his nap he's being good he's getting you know what i'm he's not
allowed to get bigger and he's getting bigger and it's pissing me off I got so in my head and sad
uh this morning when he cuddled with me I'm like you're gonna be a big dog someday and he won't be
this little and I don't want you to get bigger like that's so sad like this is a once in a
lifetime experience I'm gonna have with my puppy him being tiny enough to like hold and walk around
with and cuddle like a little baby doll like he's just so tiny and cute and he'll never be that
small again and it's kind of like a I'm enjoying it like I'm enjoying seeing him grow up and get
like more confident especially outside on the leash and he's getting better at my commands
and like obeying and like doing um the training stuff so I think I just need to focus on well
it's actually fun to watch him get bigger and grow up it's not sad it's like it's like
a beautiful thing in life like to see your young see your fucking offspring
i birthed him i'm a fucking golden retriever you know i feel like it matches me do you guys
know when people say like oh people look like their dogs or like i feel like i
like what other dog would match me i guess like a golden doodle or like a fluffy looking thing
i'm just kind of like i don't know what did i say yesterday i'm like golden retrievers are elite
they're superior superior to any other breed you can fight me about it you can
i was like you just can't top it and you know what's funny is like every time a
a person walks by with a dog or just any stranger like a runner a walker
they're like oh my god is that a golden retriever like they know immediately it's like an iconic
uh animal like an iconic i feel like it's very classic american fucking golden retriever
uh i don't know it just like represents freedom in every way and happiness happiness and freedom
and uh loyalty and uh insanity right now because he's a puppy he's being fucking insane all the
time but oh my god he has a perfect face like i'm excited so i guess he has the classic um
and if he doesn't turn out the way i want him to look he will be getting plastic surgery we
will be taking him to hollywood beverly hills wherever the fuck uh people get their tits done
we're gonna have his face injected so he looks right if his face doesn't turn out because you
know when they grow up you you can't really you can kind of tell what they're gonna look like
when they're a puppy but shit starts to change around six months to a year and then things start
looking a little not the way you want it to and his nose better not be long okay you better have
a boxy face a short nose like maintain the short nose he's got now um and i really hope he's really
fluffy like i want his fur i don't want to cut him ever or trim it i just want him to be like a
fucking bear or a lion we should do the lion haircut on him i love him
sleep my child we slept together um i took a nap today and he
he's my neck pillow he just fits like a like i'm sitting on an airplane right across my neck it's
so cute. All right. I think that's it. Um, I haven't done one of those in a while. I haven't
really kind of squeezed out my raw opinions and might just, I haven't done a bitch session like
that in a minute. So there you go. Happy fucking Wednesday. Um, shoot me a DM. Let's talk. Do you
