Starting point is 00:00:00 What's up guys? Happy Thursday. It's episode 181. Welcome back to the show. what's up, San Diego, how the fuck is everyone doing today, thank you, thank you, um, hold on, dude, I just got out of a fucking open mic, okay, wait, hi, welcome back to the show, it's Jacqueline, um, I'm practicing, because I got invited on stage on clubhouse to an open mic hosted by the laugh factory and i'm like what the fuck i shouldn't be here um i don't know why i'm up here in fact i didn't say a single word or volunteer to talk i didn't sign up to do a bit or do a two minute whatever they call it a bit i don't know um but yeah i'm just like there's my life update just got off stage virtual clubhouse
Starting point is 00:01:22 open mic stage and I feel weird thank you for inviting me up there Enrique but what the fuck um did I even say welcome back to the show welcome back to the show happy Thursday um hit that subscribe button I'm here seven days a week um and she's bombing and quit podcasting jacqueline stop take a break take a week off recollect your thoughts on why you're doing this um wow what an intro so welcome back to the show i have a few updates other than yeah the whole like got off and got off and got off okay fuck taking a sip of coffee decaf 10 p.m. I don't give a fuck uh it's one of those nights I'm just feeling like you know coffee at night's a vibe I really like like it's kind of been raining here and shitty
Starting point is 00:02:24 and I kind of like how coffee tastes at night when it's been gloomy out I don't know well few a few life updates uh and then I have a topic a requested topic to talk about from one of the clubhouse rooms I hosted today. My good friend, well not really, my acquaintance Julian asked me to talk about a couple things so that'll be towards the end but first off I just want to mention that I've been really struggling with dog walking small talk and I feel retarded. I feel like I've, I don't know how to socialize. I don't know how to interact with people and their dogs. And I need to, I almost want to Google this if it's a thing, like do people out there struggle with that? Like I do, because all of a sudden you're walking your dog. I have my
Starting point is 00:03:20 headphones in, I'm blasting, uh, Jack Harlow, Tyler, Jack Harlow, right? Yeah. Tyler Hero, Jack Harlow, Tyler Harrow, that favorite song. How does the beginning start out? It's such a fucking good song. Jack Harlow's in my ear or I'm blasting a podcast and all of a sudden Jimmy's ripping the leash a little harder than usual. And I'm like struck, struck by a person and their dog right next to me. And Jimmy's jumping around them. They're like, Oh my God, I love puppies. oh my gosh how old is he what's his name blah blah I'm answering all their little questions and then and then it gets awkward like some people are good at just breaking away and then some people want to sit there and go yeah yeah we're uh bringing in our dinner we just went to the
Starting point is 00:04:10 crack shack and uh yeah how long have you been here are you new to the neighborhood how long have you had your dog and they're like we're gonna just pass out after we eat our dinner like their their conversation is awkward as fuck is as well as my response because I'm like you're talking about dinner you want to know about my dog am I new to the neighborhood you're gonna go pass out are you drunk right now did you drink and drive like I don't know um and so I also have to do the thing where I have to rip my headphone out like oh sorry I didn't hear you because a lot of the times I'll start talking man I'm like oh fucking didn't hear you guys I'm gonna get murdered like I told you guys about the guy that creeped me out the other day um he like approached
Starting point is 00:04:50 me quickly and cross the street. I don't know. He almost died crossing the street to come talk to me, uh, to ask me if I've seen a man with a certain man with a dog and who attacked his mom or some shit. And so I'm not being very conscientious at night with, uh, I, my head's on a swivel, my head's on a swivel, but I still have my headphones in blasting music and shit. And I feel like that's unsafe and I should not have both headphones and I should just have one. and then that will also help me with the dog the dog walking small talk so then I can like hear when someone's approaching yeah okay so anyways let me just google dog walking small talk real quick fucking dog walking small talk can't believe this week's almost over
Starting point is 00:05:36 dog walking small talk every interaction between two strangers walking dogs ever this is a fucking thing. I knew it. Um, by the way, Jimmy met a golden retriever today named Olive. Olive. And she was super cute. She's like an old granny golden retriever. And whenever he meets his own kind, it is so special. And I'm like, Oh my God. Yes. Like, these are your relatives. This is family, you know? And then he'll meet like a fucking chihuahua. And I'm like, dude, let's move on you don't I'm I'm pretty uh I'm pretentious or I'm uh I feel better than other people because I have a golden retriever but certain dogs are just like they're complimenting me on how cute my dog is and I don't even say any I never talk about other people's ugly dogs I'm just not even
Starting point is 00:06:29 gonna start with the whole oh my gosh you're yours too oh yeah it's super cute oh my god yeah oh my God, it looks so sweet. So cute. Whoa. Cute. No, I'm like naughty. I'm just letting them gush about Jimmy. And then I try to get the fuck out of there as quickly as possible. I don't like the dog walking small talk. The New Yorker, every interaction between two strangers, walking dogs ever by Dan Hopper, April 1st, 2016. Let's go. Let's fucking go. Dog walker one. Can my dog say hi dog walker two she clearly already is so i'm not going to violently fling your dog away if that's what you're asking dog walker one oh what's his name dog walker two her name is lucy notice that i said her with no inflection so it wouldn't sound like i was correcting you oh yeah that's so
Starting point is 00:07:20 true the whole like figuring out the gender thing now with your dog when you're on a walk is so confusing i'm like is it is there like some bullshit woke uh conversation out there about misgendering dogs i'm sure there is but anyways um but like when i when jimmy met olive today i was like oh he or like i always go he or she i'm awkward as fuck when i do that oh yeah anyway so there's like a whole script here on the new worker about people interacting um just trying to oh well we should get going we're going to circle around the park and then run into you again on the opposite side yep every this is a thing okay so there's a quick little I guess life update um I've been having struggles with uh the dog walking small talk and
Starting point is 00:08:17 it's good to know like I mean there's so many there's so many hot guys with dogs around here and I need to see what what happens is like okay um I need to get better at this so then when that happens I'm not awkward because I every now and then I'll hit I'll hit I'll uh hit a guy with his guys I want to quit this episode like I just hiccuped right there I just uh there's there's just uh so much in my mind about this episode right now beginning is cringe me talking about fucking getting invited up on stage for the open mic cringe and then it seems like like i'm self-aware of the fact that i'm kind of just being fucking uh it's like oh is she trying to be funny on purpose now is she trying to like be like is she trying to bring
Starting point is 00:09:13 out the comedy because she's I don't know I'm in my head about this right now to be honest like this is kind of a weird vibe but uh I just kind of like brain farted right there I don't know what happened but yeah every now and then a hot guy with their dog will come by and I just kind of like crouch down and like adjust his collar and I'm like I don't want it I can't do it I'm not ready I'm not good at it yet I can't I can't I can't um anyways I'm I am insecure about that I'm a little bit, uh, hi, being cooped up alone in your own apartment for a year and not socializing. Hi, thank you.
Starting point is 00:09:49 Thanks universe. Thanks fucking COVID. Um, this is my new struggle and I'm super outgoing and, and, uh, and I'm good at that shit, but for whatever reason, dog walking, small talk is not my lane. It's not. uh speaking of COVID coronavirus this is where I'm at now with it uh you know how I never shut the fuck up about listening to podcasts I love podcasting I want to join the club I'm trying to be one of the boys I it's my passion I've been listening to podcasts forever I'm a
Starting point is 00:10:31 fucking og like 2007 2008 itunes video podcast watcher like i've been listening to rogan since the beginning yeah i'm one of those bitches well here's where i'm at when i listen to podcasts and coronavirus whenever the word covid is said or coronavirus i get nauseous and i feel sick and I'm not this is not me like oh trying to be dramatic and interesting or whatever like I physically react to hearing it in 2021 I'm like I don't want to hear about it anymore I don't want to hear people talking about people being sick I don't want to hear about it it legitimately makes I have to skip ahead on the podcast at this point and I I feel yeah I think the word I I feel is nauseous. And I don't know, does anyone else feel like that? I know I'm doing it to you right now
Starting point is 00:11:29 since I'm talking about it, if it happens to you too, but what is that? Like why? I have like PTSD from hearing, like I hear the word and I get, I like freak out. I hate it. I hate, I hate COVID. I hate coronavirus. I hate people talking about it. I hate hearing, no, the worst thing is the worst thing. The worst thing is hearing about symptoms and like, oh, I can smell your taste for a week and just like like thinking about people because guys i told you how i have that uh what is it called i'm overly empathetic or i have like a high i'm highly sensitive to other people's like fucking like i can feel other people's pain to the point where i've passed out before multiple times and had to get hooked up to an ekg okay i had to get like paramedics
Starting point is 00:12:21 she passed out because someone was describing their surgery all of a sudden I'm imagining the pain and I'm passed out so that's how it is so whenever I hear people describe symptoms and like I'm thinking of someone being high fever sweating they can't eat or taste or smell or whatever the fuck I just get I feel gross and I can't listen to it so that's where I'm at with coronavirus uh there's the next life update um uh what is this oh I was in a stock room not like a backstock retail backstock room I was in a fucking clubhouse stock room and I I heard something about um more people have gotten dogs since March 2020 than they have in the last five years I thought that was a fun thing to uh tell you guys even
Starting point is 00:13:13 though that's kind of fucking obvious. Um, yeah, I'm one of them. And guys, I know this is going to be like the mushy part. Like when I've been walking Jimmy, I've, I've never felt more present in my life since I've had him in my life. Okay. I have never felt more present since I've had a dog I've Jimmy makes me feel present I feel present I'm constantly guys got what you got what I'm saying like having the dog is making me realize how out of the present I was okay I'm fucking annoyed by this but like I'm walking him I'm breathing in the fresh air I'm really into deep breathing with my you know nose breathing nasal breathing I do yoga every day it's like i'm in this guys we've been lied to about breathing like you have to start breathing
Starting point is 00:14:11 through your fucking nose only like it will calm all of your anxiety it will help your immune system you will feel better you'll be more relaxed and zen like just start nose breathing stick your tongue on the top of your mouth close your mouth and breathe only do that stop mouth breathing And I feel like people, um, don't realize that when you hold your phone and this is from personal experience, you kind of hold your breath. Like you don't like, just, just try it out. Like hold your phone and then like, think about it after 30 minutes and be like, okay, like set a timer to breathe.
Starting point is 00:14:48 And you'll notice like you haven't been breathing deeply or like through your nose for the last 30 minutes. It's a thing. And I feel like it's fucking everyone up. It's giving us neck pain. Not only is it giving us neck pain, it's fucking up our, uh, rest and digest. it's fucking up our uh health and so yeah deep breathe but yeah having the puppy is making me so present I'm just like out enjoying the fresh air playing with him and I'm just like like he'll
Starting point is 00:15:14 just roll around in the grass and I'm just like and he'll he'll run really quick and I'm like we're playing um like I'm chasing him down type of shit and it's like my little best friend and we're having so much fun and um yeah so there's that update um more people have gotten dogs since march 2020 than they okay um and another another thing one of the investor peeps in that room said is that we need to focus on the children stop worrying about adults right now and unemployment and all that bullshit just like focus on the children the children are fucked we need to get them outside they said avoid fake stimulation aka technology and social media uh create bike clubs for kids and uh plus pokemon go clubs so they get on their bikes and go get pokemons together you
Starting point is 00:16:07 could do like community bike clubs for kids to get them outside during this time and then uh trick your kids to love salad someone else said that so just some uh thoughts about uh the current times and what we should be worried about it should be the children i mean i i think parents and kids are having it hard right now uh you know it's it's just not good it's not ideal for them to be you know out of school and not like i honestly i'm speaking i'm speaking out of my ass right now because i literally have zero concept or knowledge of like what grades are in school are people in classrooms are is it all virtual is it half and half or some places like what is the month right now it's fucking march like yeah kids should be in school like
Starting point is 00:16:54 i have absolutely no grasp on the reality right now of that so i'm just thinking it's march april 2020 everything's fucking locked down kids aren't in school like get them in a bike club get them to love salad avoid fake stimulation and um yeah have them do pokemon go or some shit like i don't know this was uh this is from that that uh clubhouse room about it was like a stock room people talking stocks and i'm just sitting there going yep okay i'm trying to learn but this is getting off topic here um something they did say though that kind of helped ease my uh self-hatred for my life choices in the last year is my life choice to settle become complacent just like bask in working from home being in the home a lot
Starting point is 00:17:53 not really putting myself out there and interacting and socializing I really hate myself for that and someone said that uh like most people they know work from home and it and most people are feeling like lazy right now like they're not trying to like recreate a normalcy for themselves because they're kind of in this washing machine of you know they can't go to the office and they have to work from home and they also live at home and it's this weird thing and then you know people are just they're in this um a lot of people are beating themselves up over it including myself and then someone gave a speech about how we're all in this together you're not alone um you know and then I've been seeing like social media posts
Starting point is 00:18:40 about like people now are not really reaching out like friends aren't really texting back they're not trying to hang out we're all just kind of numb it's things are fading we don't really have a lot to look forward to and there's a lot of social media posts about that so um I you know ideally like to be on the uh boss babe boss bitch human option human optimization uh Andy Frisella 75 hard Aubrey Marcus on it side of things like I guess um who the fuck else like a David Goggins side of social media who's like doesn't matter what's going on the world control focus on what you can control take care of your shit uh don't look don't be like other people and and settle and be lazy and just like accept the fact that shit's weird and and and you know let
Starting point is 00:19:35 yourself go and stop trying like don't be don't be sucked into that so I like to lean that way mentally I like to do that and then my reality is more of what I just mentioned like yeah I'm fucking working from home uh not putting myself out there not I'm dude um I got up on I put myself out there today technically I accepted the invite on stage to the open mic and um that's a that's a first step for that's a that was a new thing for me I tried something new while I didn't speak I muted my mic and I got uh nervous the entire time that I was going to get called on uh I did this I did something new guys I also have an update Jimmy made Forbes okay I'll be talking about that tomorrow for Friday but Jimmy made Forbes my puppy is four months old
Starting point is 00:20:25 he made forbes um just want to put that out there you're probably confused on what that means tune in tomorrow for the update on that um wow this fucking episode's all over the place buy chewy stock someone said buy chewy stock because i don't listen to people and what they recommend honestly about investing do your own research do your own due diligence do your own due diligence um stock market's shit right now um you gotta be stone cold you gotta hold on tight what do they recommend like when everyone's what is the warren buffett quote be greedy when people are fearful or whatever the fuck yeah uh it'll even back out with the stimulus shit popping off again right now we're having this what is it correction i don't
Starting point is 00:21:13 know i don't know the technical terms i just know that i'm down quite a few dollars and it's all good you know I'm not that's just part of the process all right let's go to the topic oh my god okay so today hosted a clubhouse room called why you shouldn't start a podcast I was invited to host it because Julian the guy I mentioned earlier likes the fact that I my person he likes my perspective on things because it's like the opposite of what he recommends he he helps podcasters and he's a growth hacker and does that kind of stuff so um and he has a podcast about podcasting I think so and marketing your podcast I believe so he invited me to have my uh fresh fresh perspective my differing perspective on stage to uh you know offer up to people that
Starting point is 00:22:11 came and pitched their podcast idea so I did that today it was at 10 a.m to noon and it was really fun um yeah thanks for having me up Julian I know you're listening this episode and uh you're waiting for this part because you you wanted me to talk about this is what this is part of the episode that's going to get more fucking deep and boring so whatever here we go um and I honestly don't have a lot to say here but the two topics are one how flexible is the concept of truth how flexible is the concept of truth and then the second question or the second topic he wants me to talk about is um flipping okay I wrote this on it's like so hard to read my pen was dying when I wrote this when he asked so flipping the table if you don't like how it's set so I'm going to
Starting point is 00:23:11 riff on those two topics here we go so google.com what is truth truth is the quality of state fuck god okay the quality or state of being true I want more of my decaf I dug out some beans from Julian how are you liking this by the way I'm off topic going on a tangent about beans and decaf coffee he had mentioned that he listened to a couple of my episodes he's like yeah one one minute she's telling me about her day and then all of a sudden her dog shits on the floor and then she's all of a sudden talking about that and then she goes back to some other tangent it's like yeah hi this is what I do here but I think I dug up some beans um you know in the back of my pantry it was like oh I got decaf I'm a fucking idiot I don't know
Starting point is 00:24:00 it's like I feel like okay this is disgusting I've had them for they're expired you know it's like I moved I took everything from my old pantry put in my new pantry and you know they've been around for way too long but I just felt like it's kind of like cozy and nighttime I want my little decaf, my little, and I, and I saw an influencer I follow. She makes vegan makeup. Uh, she drinks decaf iced coffee at night. And I was like, that's kind of a fucking vibe. I like that. So, um, anyways, I need to collect my thoughts about truth. Cause I fucked up the definition when I read it from Google, google.com. All right. The quality or state or state of being true. that, which is true or in accordance with the, with fact or reality. Okay. My interpretation
Starting point is 00:24:48 of truth is there's gotta be, okay. Like I said, I don't have a lot to say here. I'm not, uh, fucking woke. I don't know. Cause I'm drinking, I'm drinking decaf. Okay. I'm not, I'm not primed. My brain is not firing. Um, I feel, uh, dumb. So let's do it. I feel like for something to be true, there has to be like hard evidence to back it. Meaning something in the physical reality occurred that makes something true. Like it, you can't just conceptualize truth. I feel like it has to be, or it can't be theory. It can't be like a what if, or a how am I doing? Fuck. Okay. Do you get, do you get, do you get what I mean? Like, I just think of, okay, Vegas shooting happened. People died that man was in the whatever fucking floor 27th floor i believe i don't know all i know is
Starting point is 00:26:04 i stayed in mandalay bay and it was like the fucking room below or above it not at the time but i remember the room i stayed in was nearby and it fucking it's fucking crazy uh i still can't even believe that happened then after after that happened i was paranoid so bad at my uh on campus at my university that i reported a potential school shooter who i saw as i walked by uh let's go on the story right now. Yeah. After the Vegas shooting, I got, I was working at my college and I got so paranoid every time I was on campus that to the point where I walked past the library and there's a window looking into the library and there was a kid watching a YouTube video of how to shoot a handgun. And I saw that in the corner of my eye, called 911 and reported a suspicious
Starting point is 00:26:50 this activity um in the library i said you know what i know this might be crazy or weird or whatever because you know this guy's just watching a youtube video but i believe he's gonna he's gonna shoot up a school and i'm i'm in fear please send someone to check up on the situation so the cop went into the library checked on the kid in the back who i saw through the window the kid was a cop in training he was actually friends with the deputy that approached him so uh I yeah had a hard time after that Vegas shooting I'm sure we all did but um that happened so back to what I was saying that so that was truth if someone said yeah one time a guy shot shot up a con wasn't in a country concert yeah in Vegas you kind of be like no that never
Starting point is 00:27:39 happened because it's true it did there's a fucking there's hard evidence it happened in the physical world it is true um but I think there's let me just read this uh there's like a photo here of a silverhead silver-haired uh 65 plus year old on a website here I'm not going to tell you what I don't want to like this is gonna reveal who it is so I'm not going to say who it is but he created an article or wrote an article well then I have to cite him because this is plagiarism right or i i'm not fuck message media.co uh what is truth is it flexible by terry medge dritch august 20 2018 philosophers theologians theologians and scientists have debated the meaning of even relevance of truth for all of recorded history i don't want to do
Starting point is 00:28:36 this right now. I'm just scrolling down here to the part where I thought... First pause of the episode. Enjoy it. It's going to be quiet for a second here. everyone seems to have his or own idea of what truth is yet the bewildering array of true human or in fact interpretations of reality and modes of living and belief systems lead to leads one to conclude that none are truths at all they are more accurately described as accepted opinions and evolved cultural attitudes that have proven to be effective in helping to sustain extended tribes of people you know when you read a paragraph in a book and you don't know what you just read but you read it that just happened to me and i have absolutely no clue
Starting point is 00:29:37 what i just read and i don't even want to reread it so yeah but basically the only thing i remembered from that is that um everyone has their own interpretation but yeah i guess in my brain i'm gonna just i'm just gonna end it with this truth isn't flexible right like how could it be flexible based on what people interpret it as i don't know i'm just gonna think of truth in terms of fucking mass shootings and and if mass shooting happens it's true it happened and then if that's the only example i'm giving and if a car crash happens it happened it is true yes it happened uh in the physical reality realm there's hard evidence there are facts to back up that truth i think that's what it is there
Starting point is 00:30:27 has to be some sort of um like evidence and history of the event or the whatever to yeah but everything's fucking fake because we uh aren't this is what a simulation this is we don't know what why we're here what's going on um i don't know fucking first topic done i the other one is confusing to me as well flipping the table if you don't like how it is set my interpretation of that in terms of podcasting is don't listen to anyone's advice don't do what other people are doing don't like I literally just rocked the beat of my own drum set uh not to quote Lil Wayne I rocked to the beat of my drum set what song is that I rocked to the beat of my drum set fuck what song is that um but flipping the table if you don't like so how the table is set in the
Starting point is 00:31:27 podcast world is niche down you know on average it's one a week um interview guests uh come with a set of talking points and stick to a theme each episode uh tell everyone in your instagram bio you're a podcast host i don't have a fucking bio i'm sick of that shit i'm just like annoyed of i don't know i'm just not i don't know uh cut out clips from video and post them uh to help attract people to your podcast um reach out to other podcast hosts and collaborate so you can get on their show and cross-pollinate and fucking get seen by more eyeballs and heard by more people and then they'll subscribe your show um invest in the sure sm7 c17 sm7 399.99 on amazon microphone don't buy a call center
Starting point is 00:32:38 employee headset for 30 which is what i'm using edit out the bullshit that you're saying so you don't waste people's time you are not joe rogan do not have a three-hour or don't yeah if you're solo podcast house don't podcast for three hours what else do they recommend fucking have a strategy um what's like another triggering thing that I the advice I don't take so I'm basically flipping the table by uh daily podcasting not editing not putting in a lot of uh I'm not not really caring about the quality and investing in a nicer microphone promoting myself um dude because here's the thing this shit's art to me this shit is for the love I'm here because it's a passion I don't like everything else see here's the thing I didn't go like here here's what I was telling
Starting point is 00:33:38 people I actually I mentioned this on the in the clubhouse room today I said look got to ask yourself this beginning of podcasting if you want long if you want to be there uh most podcasts fail or excuse me most on average there's people fail after seven episodes of podcasting that's the statistic apparently thanks julian for telling me that so my recommendation is figure out figure out if you even like it first before you think about monetizing figure out if you're even enjoying the process of putting on a microphone and talking and if you're even good at interviewing people if you actually enjoy it and if you look forward to this if you can't stop thinking about it in my case I can't stop like gushing about it it doesn't have to because here's the a lot
Starting point is 00:34:25 of people are like I want to start a podcast to make it an extension of my business so that I can put, you know, I can make my, um, I can, you know, be, be more personable with my clients and then can get to know me better and what I do. And I can, you know, interview people in the industry and it's like, you know, it's like a business move and I get that. So I just have a hard time. Uh, I just, that's not my lane. So, uh, I basically put on the headset and it's like phone call with myself and I don't know but what is the topic flipping the table if you don't like how it's set it's not that I don't like how it's set I think what is in like clearly podcasting works in that way like there's um what is it what was the thing the truth there's evidence there are
Starting point is 00:35:18 facts there's history that putting in more effort than Jacqueline does and uh promoting it and doing the marketing and you know all that shit is a successful way to podcast it's a it's a there's a success formula in place that works so I'm not shitting on it I'm just saying that I don't that's not what I'm trying to do here I just like fucking podcasting and that's it so um but in other things like flipping the table if you don't like how it's set. I mean, you can take that literally. I've seen a few flip tables in my life. I've seen a few eggs thrown at the wall. I've seen a few, yeah, I've seen that before. And I don't think it was because the table wasn't set to someone's liking. I think it was just like they were fucking pissed off and needed to,
Starting point is 00:36:13 they need it to rage. And I think that's a good, uh, you know, I'm all about expressing yourself to the fullest, enjoying your human experience to your fullest potential. And so when it's time to rage, go hard, flip the table, throw the eggs, bust a wall, break down a door, kick something, um, drive away and peel out, uh, mark up the grass first, put a tire tread in the grass, fucking show your rage so I think that's healthy and I think you got to get it out somehow and um you know so I'm pro flipping the table if you don't like uh if you're if you're pissed but yeah I mean me at Thanksgiving grandma just set the table and I'm like I don't like how it's set and I just flip it over. Um, dude, what the fuck is this episode? So here's what we
Starting point is 00:37:11 covered today. I'm just kind of like over it at this point. Guys, can I just say something about clubhouse? Okay. I'm not very eloquent. Clearly. I'm not very professional. I don't nerd out and talk shop like a lot of people on clubhouse do I just don't really give a fuck or it's not interesting to me and it bores the fuck out of me and so I'm just like usually and I I think people are like oh yeah like I think Julian said yeah you creep a lot you're just like always in the room like and I don't really say much because yeah I'm like I don't want to be that bitch on the microphone that's like uh riffing and it sounds tacky and unprofessional when it's Like here's a room about branding and building your business.
Starting point is 00:37:58 And I'm like on stage just like, yeah, so I don't know. Like, you know, talking like this, I get nervous that I'm going to just fucking pop off like this and start going and it won't sound, uh, it won't sound good. And it'll be, uh, I'll be the troll in the room. I'll be banned. I'll be kicked out because they're like, Jesus Christ, this girl needs to read a book or some shit on fucking branding and marketing and i don't know re update her vocab um so that's an insecurity of mine but
Starting point is 00:38:29 yeah this whole like how flexible is the concept of truth flipping the table if you don't like how it's said these are interesting things um to you julian maybe but i just personally i don't know i'd rather thanks for pushing me thanks for pushing me i talked about it I referred to Google and I read some articles or whatever but um I don't know I think I'm at this point in life where I don't know I'm like a I have the attention span of a you know I have selective attention in fact I saw a fucking great quote where's my phone on Instagram I'm not gonna find it there's so many people I have to go through it on their story to find it basically about how people don't have short attention spans they have like short um you
Starting point is 00:39:24 have to hook them quickly for them to have it for them to pay attention now so the the meme or whatever the tweet was like people I'm gonna find it I'm gonna find it I'm gonna just stall here I'll play the crowd music again for you guys enjoy the silence or crowd noise here I'm gonna find it i can't i i this has been way too long that was probably really um that was probably hurting your hurting your ears i think their story went away but yeah like people can like pay attention to a three-hour Rogan episode right because it's interesting and it grabs their attention but like you bore them with how flexible is the truth and they're out you know like that kind of shit sometimes it's like it's not a it's not they're just like uh and I think Julian you asked me I'm
Starting point is 00:40:32 like addressing specific I know I'm like talking directly to you because I know you want me to send this episode so you can listen to it but like you mentioned something earlier uh in the clubhouse conversation for me to talk about and I immediately was like I'm no thanks I'm not that's not interesting to me I I forget what that was but like that's where I'm at I'm just gonna straight up be like nope uh sorry I don't want to talk about it or yeah so guys I was looking back speaking of all this deep thinking and interesting intellectual topic shit I was looking back on my 2020 camera roll on my old iphone 7 plus that i replaced with my iphone 12 pro max and i was so fucking annoying past 10 p.m on my insta stories in the past
Starting point is 00:41:21 i am sorry like if you followed me i was like i was so fucking annoying because here's what happened to me before i went crazy like before 2020 turned me into a psychopath where i'm Now, before 2020 turned me into a crazy ass person who talks to herself on a microphone every day, I would think late at night thoughts about the world and society and the universe and the concept of fucking truth and shit. and I would write paragraphs over a black screen on my insta story and I would offer up some you know wisdom to people and shit from my brain and um wow that I I was on my so the reason I was on my 2020 camera roll is because I have a highlight every month of like it's November here's all my insta stories or the ones I want to keep on my Instagram and then I do that for every month so I wanted to put 2020 into one bucket and I was like, dude, cringe. This is all fucking cringe.
Starting point is 00:42:29 I need to delete everything. Um, I also deleted my writing highlight on my Instagram because I'm like TMI bitch. Nobody cares. Um, in fact, I'm kind of, well, the writing highlight I had show that I'm actually like, I do have that intellectual ability. Like I am a deep thinker. i do write interesting shit that's like maybe other people may they might not have thought of and so they read my fucking highlight reel and they're like oh that's interesting oh that's a new idea i haven't thought of and yeah i'm i i got i got some fucking brain cells but i don't know i was just like i'm annoying i feel annoying i don't want to be i don't want this to be my brand um so i deleted it and uh now it looks like i just i don't know uh whatever i got
Starting point is 00:43:19 nothing left to give at this point um that's not true uh i have seven days a week podcasting i i really i have a lot to give i i i um i do have a lot to say clearly but i guess i'm just kind of like out of the what's the word here's what's happened the world has gone to hell everything's fucking crazy now and stupid and I'm like is this a real news story or is this fake like I can't believe what I'm seeing in front of my eyes when I check the news and what's going on in the world and I feel like the result of that is I'm just kind of like done with caring about shit I used to care about I'm like who gives a fuck about like figuring out the meaning of life and shit I'm just like I'm just trying to have fun at this point I just want to drink my decaf and stay up
Starting point is 00:44:17 late and podcast and be unfiltered and fucking go off because I think you out there are bored of the current events too or you're just like over it and you're like I just need to hear someone I this this I keep saying this or I've been saying this lately this podcast is for you to listen to if you want to zone out and feel nothing and then afterwards feel so brain dead and retarded because you listen to me talk for an hour that you can pass out and you're you're basically this is like your pre-bedtime podcast because this will just help you get out of your head you're like i just heard a bunch of crazy shit and i'm just gonna like pass out now because instead of thinking your thoughts you're hearing mine and nothing is cohesive or nothing really
Starting point is 00:45:10 connects really because it's a bunch of tangents and um that's what I have to give you guys now I think that's what the style is it's starting to evolve to that and um will I look back at this journey of podcasting every day and go should have done some editing chick you should have premeditated your thoughts before you said them you should have um you know polished yourself a little better will i look back absolutely not i don't give a fuck it's that it's at that point i've i've completely said i don't care this is my brain this is my stream of consciousness welcome welcome welcome welcome that was awkward how I said welcome
