Hi, good morning. I'm going to take you through my morning routine right now. I'm in bed.
I still have my retainer in. I haven't drank water. I haven't brushed my teeth. I don't
have any coffee in me yet. And if I can successfully escort you through the step-by-step process
of me turning into the best version of myself in the first hour of my day by waking up and
hydrating and getting caffeinated that I, I can pretty much do anything. Okay. I look like a
pop star right now with my little headphone, uh, setup. I'm actually going to go tape it to my
cheek so that you guys can, uh, get good sound quality the whole time while I do stuff. What a
shit show I invite oh my god I don't know who's even listening to this but this might be a new
a new a whole new thing oh my gosh am I am I starting a trend it's called podcast
you're it's like a vlog so right now okay I'm gonna I'm getting up I'm walking around
the thing is when I talk I usually talk in circles and do things aimlessly but now I
actually have to like go brush my teeth and, uh, start my day. So the first thing I do is I go in
my bathroom and I get my teeth brushed. So I'm going to pause this and actually I'm going to
take you through it. That's my retainer coming out. There's the water turning on. Can you hear
that. I'm using a, I'm using Arm & Hammer Advanced White Toothpaste, and my toothbrush is,
it's just a Oral-B, it's like a $4 toothbrush from CVS. It's, it's okay, it's purple, it's cute.
So I do water on the toothbrush, then toothpaste, then water. That's the, that's the routine. So
If you put your toothpaste on a dry toothbrush, I mean, you need to figure out what's going on with yourself because that's not okay.
This probably sounds so disgusting, and I'm sorry, but this is real life.
I'm brushing my teeth.
Now, I'm going to half-ass this toothbrush job, and it won't be three minutes because I don't want to take all your time.
so just know that I'll re-brush my teeth later and do a good job and I'll floss and everything
but for the sake of your time I'm doing like a 30 second detail
okay cool so now i'm walking out of my bathroom um this is the point of the morning where i drink
water if you're entertained right now that says a lot about um that I feel like that just says a lot
about where we're at as a society the fact that people uh tune in to other individuals doing the
most basic things in their day and listening to it and getting entertained by it but like I said
the last podcast. I'm like your friend and you're, you're telling you stuff when I'm, I'm just
talking as a, as a friend in the room, you guys are basically waking up with me right now.
I'm doing, I feel like I'm doing good. I'm already, it's eight Oh seven, no caffeine.
Here's my first drink of water. This is a little too ASMR-y for a podcast. In fact, the
toothbrushing was probably a little too much and that was the first thing I did and so if you
checked out after the toothbrushing I totally understand um I get I get it this is gonna be
a challenge right now I have to make my instant coffee uh and podcast at the same time so right
now this is what I did I just got my pickle jar that I used yesterday that I cleaned and I filled
full of about a fourth cup of water. Take, pop it into the old microwave. I have a nice big
microwave. It's above my, it's above my oven. Put that in for a minute, 10 start. All right. Now
while the hot water is going for the grounds, uh, the instant coffee, I, uh, get the instant
coffee down. I'm going to continue to chug water. Okay. This is literally, literally,
literally, oh my gosh, I'm such a millennial. It's a word I want to X out of my vocabulary,
but this is quite literally exactly what I do every morning. And this is like the podcast
Olympics right now. I I'm seriously trying to like hold the microphone up by my cheek,
like a pop star and do everything one-handed and I think I'm gonna be okay I'm gonna be okay
we're gonna get through this uh honest to god I'm trying to knock this out because I have this
fantasy now that I did two podcasts that I'm gonna become a daily podcaster now so
every day at some point I'm gonna have to knock it out and get it done and I'm choosing to do it
it's Saturday I want to I want to you know do some fun activities and have a me day today like I do
every fucking day. Uh, already swearing 8am. Sounds great. Great job, Jacqueline. Uh, but I
want to get this out of the way and I can frolic around and there's, there's the hot water. I could,
then I can have my, uh, my Saturday to do other stuff. And, uh, I'm attempting this. This is like,
uh, I don't know. This is like a whole new, whole new world for me. Uh, my phone is currently in
airplane mode and it's fully charged. So that was a burp. It's the morning. A lot of things are,
uh, a lot of things are, um, coming alive in my body.
More water. Now what I like to drink, I like to drink a lot of water in the morning.
like i realized i probably put down like two gallons two gallons a day
what am i saying oh that's so hot okay i i touched the cup and it's way too hot um
my brain i'm not fully functioning right now clearly um but i'm committed i'm committed to
this process. You're, uh, going through my step-by-step morning vlog through a podcast
of exactly how I do my morning routine. So the instant coffee is in the cup. I pulled out my
ice cube tray, the ice cube tray I mentioned yesterday. It's out on the counter. It's kind
of chilling I I let that I let that get uh some exposure to the room temperature to help the ice
cubes pop out easier so that's chilling then I'm gonna open my fridge here oh wow I still have
leftover iced coffee from yesterday that is definitely going down right now let's just get
this party started let's just hack the system so I mean I'm getting some day old caffeine in me
right now while I make my new coffee. Actually, that's so good. At one point yesterday, that was
lukewarm and that was, uh, watered down, but I put it in the fridge and that's a little life
hack for you. If you just put your iced coffee back in the fridge, it'll, it'll come back to
life um you know whatever so uh now I'm just letting the uh what's it called the coffee chill
popping off the ice cubes here's like I'm trying to see if the sound will go let me see
okay so let me talk about last night I'm eight minutes in and I'm just
I should be telling stories I shouldn't be talking about every detail of what I'm doing
but here's what happened last night I was on the phone with my brother until 1 a.m no 1 30
we talked for two and a half hours it was so nice good quality time brotherly sisterly time
and uh it's eight I woke up at my normal time like I well like 30 minutes ago actually can't
say that woke up around 7 30 uh and then I started looking at podcast uh cover art like on the ones
I follow because I need to figure out what mine's gonna be so I was just looking for some I just
got excited you know like when you're a new when you're you're starting a new um a new hobby you
just want to you just want to like immerse yourself in that world and so the first thing I did this
morning was I woke up I processed my whoop strap that tells me how I slept and I'm actually I don't
know I I didn't look I'm a little afraid to see what my recovery recovery is because it's probably
going to tell me because whoop measures your heart rate variability and your all your like
if you slept how many hours of REM sleep you got and light sleep and deep sleep and everything
and I know it's going to tell me my recovery is like 10% today because I barely slept but
anyways, I woke up, I was looking at podcast covers, and anyways, I got all inspired, I'm like,
you know, I'm gonna, I'm gonna just do, I'm just gonna do a podcast right away, I'm gonna wake up
and roll out of bed and do this, and it's gonna be my Saturday podcast, and now I'm fucking putting
ice cubes in, here it is, can you hear that? I can't wait, I'm gonna have a, I think the type
of microphone Jacqueline's going to have is like the Britney Spears pop star microphone. And that
way I can, uh, be, I can be active. I can be active when I podcast and I can, uh, I can walk
around and I can, and I can vlog what I'm doing each step. Um, that might be my, my stick. I don't
know so I just put the the little round ice cubes in the hot uh what's it called instant coffee from
Trader Joe's now I'm taking my unsweetened almond milk filling that cup up and kind of swirl it
let it do its thing bam that's my iced coffee done and it's 8 14 that took a little longer
because I'm talking to you guys but uh I'm gonna drink more water so I like to drink a lot more
water and that didn't happen because I I'm trying to entertain you guys and I don't want to allow
I don't want any dead air to come in because I have this dream and this fantasy that I'm a one
take I'm a one take Susie and she just she's she's so good at podcasting she doesn't edit anything
she does it in one take and she uploads it and uh she uses shitty old microphone she doesn't
have a studio and, but she's, she's keeping, keeping people entertained somehow. So, you
know, it's very simple. I'm on a phone call right now. Like I'm, you know, you know, if
you're talking to someone, that's kind of what I'm doing right now. I'm just talking
to myself, uh, treating this like a phone call, not overthinking it. Uh, it's like if
I was FaceTiming you, if I was, uh, you know, in the, you know, hanging out with you.
There's more water. Okay. Uh, wow. What's next? I don't have pants on right now. I'm going to be
so honest. Is this too much? I don't, maybe I'm giving out too much information too soon,
but I don't sleep. I sleep naked. So Jacqueline has a oversized, big white t-shirt on and no
pants and no underwear so that's just what I'm rolling with right now and it's it's a little
awkward because my shirt's not long enough to cover my butt cheeks and I feel like when I open
my windows like I'm doing right now I'm opening the blinds no one can see through my window but
I get paranoid I'm currently watching so one of my favorite things to do in the morning is I go
over to my windows and I look at my name like a lot of my neighbors go out walking but this guy
right now I don't I don't recognize him he's got a he's got a bottle of pepsi okay what's he doing
he was sitting on the curb with a bottle of pepsi and a brown paper bag
I think that man was drinking last night and he found himself on the curb and now he's confused
and he's pacing so that man is probably still drunk and trying to catch a ride so that's what
I'm looking at right now I love people watching it's my form of entertainment the first thing I
do in the morning is uh you know I will say this I don't usually uh I don't I'm not on my phone a
lot in the morning I get shit done so I made my coffee I told you how I did all that and I brushed
my teeth and I so apologize oh my gosh if you listen to the the details of me brushing my teeth
and got so grossed out by that I am so sorry uh but I brush my teeth I drink a ton of water I
make iced coffee I open all my blinds I open my windows like my actual physical window uh I'm a
little congested okay I don't know if I like that doing a little coronavirus check-in right now
I just swallow to feel the sensations of my throat my throat and I this year have gotten
really close. Uh, I, I know my throat, like I've never known it before. And I, this is see, I'm
segueing, but that's okay. Uh, I, I've coughed this year four times and I remember each time I did it
two times I've choked on water. I always choke on water when I open a brand new gallon of water.
so I I buy gallon jugs a lot of the time and the first sip always fucks me up and I always end up
choking so the two times I've coughed really bad are from choking on water
and then uh sunflower seeds those are the other two times I was downing a salad went down the
wrong hole and the other time I was just macking on them at at uh at night and I was choking so
I've been hyper aware of any coughing, any weird throat sensations. Uh, and I just did a little
check-in right now because I recognize that I'm a little, a little congested and that's usually
a morning thing for me, you know, clearing out the old phlegm. And, uh, once I start sweating
it out and working out, uh, you know, those juices get released in my body and I don't notice
being sniffly anymore. Um, I'm a little bit, a little bit, I don't know if I'm annoyed with
myself right now, but this is my, this is my personality and this is my, this is me right now.
I'm not, I'm not going like, hi guys, welcome back to my podcast. Good morning. So the first
thing I do is make my iced coffee and brush my teeth. I'm going to walk you through it.
So that's not me. And, uh, a piece of me, which is, I naturally just sounded like that all the
time, but in the morning, I'm just, I'm just, I'm just riffing. I'm just talking like, uh,
I don't know. I I'm judging myself a little bit, a little bit right now, because I know I'm going
to listen to this and hate the sound of my voice, but this is all about accepting, accepting myself,
loving myself for exactly who I am. And I know I'm congested and I'm tired right now and I barely
slept, but this is my morning voice. So that's, that's cool. I'm going to go drink my coffee
right now and get this party started. Finishing the day old iced coffee right now.
okay and now I'm going to test my new coffee I just made
fuck yeah
I live for this moment in the day I'm actually gonna stir this up a little bit
stirring that up spoon there we go that's beautiful
So, then at this point in the morning, I don't meditate.
I don't do that necessarily.
I've dabbled.
Like, I can't say I don't meditate.
I have headspace and I do it every now and then.
My meditation is a lot of long walks, you know, exercise with no music.
even just transitions throughout my day where I'm I consciously put my phone away and I'll
complete a task in silence and to me that's meditation because it forces me to just think
on the tap think about what I'm doing the task in front of me whether it's dishes laundry cleaning
um whatever and a lot of thoughts will surface because of it
okay wow I just exposed myself that was was that too much was that too much do I need to
do I need to scrap this I just burped um I don't know am I that type of that's the thing I don't
know if I want to be this type of podcaster. I don't know if I want to be this type of chick
that's raunchy and gross and whatever, but this is real life. So whatever, time to be,
time to be raw and real. And I, and I want to go back to what I was talking to my brother about
last night. Cause he didn't even know I was podcasting or doing this. I can't even say
on podcasting. I'm literally too podcasting and getting, you know, I'm puffing up my chest a
little bit and I'm getting all excited. But I told him what I've realized about 2020, because I'm
realizing things, is that the most raw way you can show up online right now is through long form
conversations and podcasting and doing a long video of yourself talking. Like if you watch
podcasters on YouTube, they press record the whole conversations, documented, posted the
conversations on an audio file for podcasting, uh, apps and everything. And then that's it.
And that's how people know them online. Because what I realized, cause I've dabbled with YouTube,
I've dabbled with all the other social medias TikTok Instagram stuff and I realized like that
is it's all edited and it's very artistic while that's amazing because you can tell stories with
editing and you can really curate of a look and a feel to who you are by doing that but the most
raw way to share yourself with people is in one take in a long podcast format. So
that's what I'm doing here. I think that's my epiphany that this is probably the best way I can
show up online because to be honest, I love YouTube. I love editing. I'm an artist in that
way I love editing my dad was an editor I grew up watching movies and he would pause so many times
and he would talk about the edits and he would make us aware so so I would and as a kid I'm
watching movies paying attention to how things are edited and I still do that it's like a it's
like a natural it's like it I can't help it a lot of the times and I just I have an eye for
um, video and editing and, and what am I even saying? I appreciate YouTube. I love,
I love, uh, making videos, but I think I'm more excited about podcasting and doing a long form
conversation every day or however often I can. I really want to commit to a daily podcast because
I think it's easy. I'm on a phone call with myself right now. I'm getting the day started.
She's drinking coffee. She's watching her neighbors. I got two more walking by.
Okay. So we've got, oh yeah. So Labor Day weekend, they're up early. Total millennials
with their dog, drinking their coffee. They got out of the coffee shop. Love to see it.
I'm jealous. Where can I find that? Hit me up. It's like my, my fantasy, like Saturday morning,
waking up with my boyfriend. We went to the coffee shop. We have a little golden doodle.
It's sunny. We're going to go to the beach later. It's Labor Day weekend. We're going to have some
rosé. I don't know. So I'm already getting FOMO. It's 8 in the morning. So yeah, I want to podcast.
I want to do this because that's what I realized. It's the most like straight up raw way to be.
I keep saying raw uh but that's the that's what I've strived for it with my content like
I I try to keep everything I try to keep it real like I always tell people that whenever I DM
people they say something I'm like yeah I'm just I'm just keeping it real part of me doesn't want
of come across online phony and calculated and edited and a copycat of something I've seen
and now I'm emulating it and that's how people know me it gives me anxiety because like
I have struggled in the past trying to keep I feel like there was a point with Instagram where I was
it was such a mind fuck to meet people in real life from Instagram that you were like you knew
them on Instagram first and then you meet them and I was like what the fuck this isn't even you
and I don't want to be like that and it freaks me out and so I always whenever I post stories
and like I don't know I try to keep things like if you were hanging out with me at 6 p.m on my couch
and you're my friend, that's how I'm trying to be. And this, that's why I'm, I'm so stoked about
this podcast. I'm going to wrap it up soon here. Uh, I'm almost done with my morning routine,
routine anyways. Um, I got a spider on my wall. What the fuck? This is a big one. This is a daddy
long leg, little body, long legs. Um, I'm gonna, I'm gonna keep my eye on you. Don't get away from
me. He's going to probably slip under my couch, dip out. I woke up, this is, now I'm getting
distracted by a spider, but it's funny. I noticed that because I woke up to four videos from my mom
and my DMS sharing, uh, the spiders around her house back home in Washington. It's, it's like
spider season. Cause it's getting colder in the mornings and, uh, they're big, they're big, uh,
what kind of spiders are they I think they're called hobo spiders yeah hobo spiders they got
a big body they're fuzzy and they have they're just thick they're thick spiders they make big
webs so I woke up this morning to dms from my mom sharing the spiders that she's that she's got at
house and now I've got my own. Um, so yeah, I'm gonna have to, honestly, I'm going to let them
chill. Those long daddy, long leg spiders don't bother, bother me. They're very gentle. They're
very docile. They're very, they're boring. They don't move. They don't move in a way that freaks
me out because I think that's what it is for with spiders for me. If a spider is
wild with how it moves meaning it jumps a little bit it can like go sideways and
if I if I watch it like crawl away really fast that's what I don't like that but when
when a daddy long leg hangs out on your on your wall it doesn't it doesn't bother me so what was
I saying oh yeah podcasting this is the format for this is like it's like match.com it's like
eat harmony it's like tinder it's like bumble it's like finding the perfect format perfect app
match for Jacqueline as an online personality like what is her what is the best fit for her
and I believe after doing this two times because this is what I am on a roll at this point um
I have decided that I found my lane. I found my passion. I think I found my calling. I think I
can be very successful at this, meaning I can commit to it. Success to me in this podcasting
space means I say I'm going to do a daily podcast and I do a daily podcast and I commit to it
because everything else I've attempted in the past, I'll dabble in for two months and dip out
and you'll never see me again like YouTube and I judge myself for that so much I can't tell you
how many other people though I listen to say oh yeah I just like never kept my channel going and
everyone is you know they never continued it and you go back to their channel and it's like two
months ago or like two years ago they had a bunch of consistent videos and now they dipped out so
I don't want to be like that I'm stoked about podcasting and uh like the feeling I get after
this is good like I know my day is about to be super super amazing because I podcasted I started
my day with a podcast and I really am trying to like clear my congestion right now and it's really
hard. Like it's not happening. Like I have a little, you know, when you have a little throat
bubble, it's like, it just needs to like clear and then you'll, you'll sound, you'll sound a lot
better and you won't be so nasally. That's how I think. That's what I need to need to accomplish
right now. I will also take you through this. I haven't taken my antidepressant yet. So we're
gonna take that together um it's not a big deal I talked about this on the first episode I posted
on fucking soundcloud that I'm seeing a therapist I got some depression antidepressant medication
or whatever it's called I don't really know what it's called but um I'm it's in my mouth right now
hold on. Um, but yeah, I, I used to be in my head about, I used to think it's, I don't know. I
wasn't, I wasn't excited in the past about taking medications, especially the antidepressants and
stuff. I thought there was something wrong with it. I thought that like do, do things holistically
and naturally and just Jacqueline, just work out and eat healthy and get sunshine and have a social
life and be, be a normal person and you won't be depressed. But, um, there is a chemical imbalance
with me. So I'm, I'm, uh, embracing it and I'm saying, Hey, you know what, if this can be a
little bridge to get, get me to get me to the other side, I'll do it. And I'm actually really
noticing positive effects, um, so far. So everyone is so depressed right now. If you're depressed
right now I'm with you I get it like this is a this is a bad year for people that struggle with
depression even if it's a even if it's mild like don't judge yourself for the most mild depression
because mine I thought I never thought it was severe enough you know what I mean like oh I
don't have it as bad I'm sure other people are like really like couch locked all day and they
don't, um, I don't know, they have like, this is bad to say, but maybe they're suicidal and
whatever. Um, Oh, I don't want to say whatever and disregard that. And that's a heavy,
heavy thing someone has to deal with. Um, but I'm saying, I didn't think my depression was
that bad. So I thought, Oh, well, I just need to do the things I've done in the past to,
um, cope with it and to manage it. And even when I do those things, I still struggle with it. So
according to all the things going on with the tests I've had and doctors and everything I got
it's a chemical thing with with me right now so I'm working I'm working it out and the medication
I just popped and I just that was part of the vlog I see I wish I was more descriptive in that
process so everything else I described was more interesting this morning I talked about my
toothpaste my specific toothbrush I use I talked to you through exactly how I did my coffee now
when I go to talk to take my antidepressant I walk in my kitchen it's in my top drawer next to my
forks and spoons and knives and everything because I have a space for my vitamins and my all my stuff
and uh it's in a little CVS orange pill case uh I actually have a prescription refill I have to go
pickup at the, at CVS. So yeah, I just pop it out. It's tiny. It's like the size of, uh, a Tic Tac
and yeah, I take one. I definitely should have drink, drink more water.
So I'm going to do that right now. Um, instead of downing it with iced coffee. So
I'm trying to make this feel like a, like a vlog again for you guys.
there's me drinking water so yeah I take that
let me let me try to wrap this podcast up in a bow and send it off um
I still feel congested what the hell okay I don't like that I'm gonna
I'm gonna have to work out really hard because I feel like the thing that happens is I'll do a
bunch of cardio or in the morning I usually so here's what I'll keep you I'll keep the vlog going
the congestion usually goes away if I have any after I work out so I'm not worried I just get
paranoid sometimes I wake up and I get paranoid when I do my little throat check-in I'm like okay
how did I do yesterday did I contract any I don't I don't even want to fucking talk about this and
make it a thing because I'm honestly it's September I'm at the point now where it's not that bad it's
not, it's not a thing. I I'm not paranoid. Like I was in March. I will say that in March,
as I was like, I was living in fear a lot of days with any physical symptoms I noticed,
I would freak out. I was, I remember like every hour, one day for, for like every hour I would
gargle apple cider vinegar and I would sip warm water because I thought I had it and whatever.
so anyways I want to go back to the vlog so because this is a podcast vlog a vlog cast uh
wow what the f what am I talking about okay so at this point in the morning I'm gonna go drink a lot
more water I'm gonna put on sometimes okay here's the thing I'm gonna go to the gym and I usually
take a cold shower before like the first thing I usually do in the morning so I brush my teeth I
make my iced coffee I drink a bunch of water I open all my windows I watch my neighbors I wake
up. And if I have tasks to do, I will write them down. I don't really write. I sometimes I write
them down the day before, but today I'm not, I'm just going to list it out. Um, I could do that
with you guys right now, but it's pretty, my day's pretty basic today. So it's Saturday.
So usually like sick, get caffeinated. I write down my tasks and, um, then I jump in the shower.
I'll take an ice cold shower and I will usually play a podcast at this point and get kind of,
you know, inspired, motivated. I'll, you know, get my mind going with someone talking. I don't
really check. I'm not a, I don't wake up and check. Um, lately I have, I can't say that. So
I'm in a bad phase right now of looking at my phone when I wake up, but I'd say 90% of the
time. I get shit done and then I check my phone. Like, but the point I check my phone is usually
while I'm waking up in the morning with my coffee, I'll, uh, go and just, yeah, I'll check my phone
at that point. But, um, it's usually Twitter. I don't really watch the thing as I realized
yesterday is I don't watch Instagram stories. Like I don't, I get like, I get, I don't know.
I just don't I like don't tap those little circles my I open Instagram I go to DMs I go to
like my I look at my profile I feel like I it's a it's like a weird tick looking at your own
profile you just like do it and then you like click out and then you scroll on the home thing
and then I don't know I like bounce through my Instagram the most like chaotic way and then I
have my little stalking routine the different profiles I like specifically search and then I
click on those profiles and then I, uh, go back to my profile and then I go to my DMS and then
I go to my request and then I like, whatever. I like look through everything to see if, um,
you know, any, what am I saying? So yeah, I get caffeinated. I watch, all right. That's when I
look at social media. Okay. Cold shower. So then I'm going to the shower and I usually do a cold
shower. Um, lately I've been doing this before the gym, I'll jump in the cold shower for like
a minute or two and then I'll change into my gym clothes, get all my gym stuff, go and get in my
car, drive to the gym. This is literally what I've been doing for the last, I don't know, week
because it just started up again, but I'm pretending this is like my regular life and that
I've been doing this forever because typically this is exactly what I do. But before, um, over
the last few months because of the gym being closed, um, really since July, August, the last
couple of months. Um, my workout is usually, uh, I wake up at six caffeine in my veins by six 30,
between six 30 and seven, I'm like stretching. I usually do a little bit of yoga and getting my
like body warmed up. You know what I mean? And then around seven, I'll go on a run or a really
long walk and play a podcast. And, um, that's usually my workout. And then, yeah. So today
I'm going to, uh, definitely cold shower right after this. I could totally vlog it. Oh my gosh.
I could take you through my, my cold shower, but, um, we're gonna, that's going to be so hard. I'm
probably an electrocute myself with my headphones. Uh, yeah, we're not going to do that, but I am
going to look into getting a microphone that's like a pop star microphone. Um, and that'll be
my, that will be how I'm unique and different in the podcasting space because I'm going to have a
wireless mic like that. And, uh, I'm going to take selfies with it. I'm going to, I'm going to
walk in circles around my apartment and podcast with it. And, um, yeah, because there's like some
piece of me now I'm just being a fucking weirdo there's a piece of me that likes to be my own
person and do things in a in my own way and uh especially when I'm entering a space that is so
like everyone and their mom has a podcast you know what I mean so I'm like how can Jacqueline
come into this space and totally just do things so different and so her her own way that no one
else is doing so she can rise to the fucking top like I don't know that's how my brain works I'm
like what could I do like I'm literally looking at podcast covers as soon as I wake up because I'm
like what color is not being used and how could I make mine the most like wild and wacky you know
what I mean I'm creative I think a lot and that's just that's where my brain goes because
this is what I realized everyone's an online social media influencer person now the people
like everyone is it's so like everyone is it's 2020 everyone has everyone's got something going
online you know and if they don't they're probably really mentally healthy and have a normal life
and I'm definitely jealous of it probably um they don't struggle with like issue like mental health
issues because they're not on social media all day but the ones that are I'm just saying like
it's there's so many people out there and um I've realized that the way people know you now is
through how they see you online and so I'm trying to at this stage I'm like okay I want to be as
raw and as Jacqueline Monroe as possible like exactly how it is if you were to shake my hand
and meet me I'm trying to be that as much as possible right now because we're locked into
this social media game it's it's a long-term thing and I'm realizing that uh I don't want to
evolve into a character of myself online and be this online avatar that's not it doesn't sync up
with what I, who I truly am in person. So I have this paranoia and this anxiety about that. So
that's what I'm doing right now. Um, with the podcast and, and being super just like fucking,
I literally rolled out of, but I still have, I haven't cleared the boogie, the crusties out of
my, what are they called? The boogies, the crusties, the corners of my eyes are still
crusted over. I, uh, I'm not wearing pants right now. I'm like staring out my window guy with a
FedEx hat just walked by like, this is literally you hanging out with me. And that's, that's how
I want to be right now online. And that's my, that's the next phase. And, uh, I said I was
gonna keep this concise and uh I can't do it I'm I'm just I'm babbling on um
online avatar of myself I don't want to be a character um I want my persona to be like exactly
who I am and I'm that's like my goal in life um what am I saying oh but yeah a piece of me wants
to differentiate myself and like of course I want to show up online in a cool way that's like
enticing and different. I'm literally like trying to be like, I just want, I'm like,
what's not being done right now? How can I wedge myself in the space and do something different?
Um, but simply being me is enough. I don't need to overthink it, but I'm having fun. I'm having
fun getting creative and thinking about ways I can, you know, post my podcast, the style I do
the fucking headphone or the pop star microphone that I could wear. Um, I am thinking, I thought
about this of, I have a ring light. I have a super nice camera. I think the next phase after
I get a few of these under my belt will be me recording it on video for YouTube and just posting
the, the podcast on YouTube. Um, cause you know, that's where the money is going to be made really
from monetizing those videos and getting sponsors and all that shit because uh long term like how
sweet would that be you know what I mean like why not I'm down for I'm so down to um admit that
if I could monetize YouTube videos and get ad revenue and I'm even not like I'm speaking like
I'm slurring my words right now because I can't think straight but basically make money through
um, through YouTube and podcasting eventually would be super cool. But
every, every like how to guy on social media, I'm talking to you, Gary V is like,
it's all about playing the long game and thinking long-term and being patient. And so this is how
I'm getting started. Okay. 2020 rock bottom, literally just popped a depression, depression,
I can't even say it. Antidepressant and made her ice coffee and brushed her teeth while holding her old Apple headphone microphone up to her face. Like I'm getting, you got to start somewhere. You know what I mean?
And so I realized that it's going to be, it's going to be rough in the beginning and whatever,
but I think long-term I, I, I can see myself really making it, man. Seeing my fucking name
in lights in the podcasting space, because I put in the work for a long time for five years,
like in 2025 you know she's I don't know so that's where I'm at
it it's it's hard it's really hard for me to like it was a big step I'm admitting a lot of things
like yesterday what I what I posted about telling strangers my truths and talking about it
this whole process is like, it's allowing myself to accept my truths, talk about them. And instead
of being shy about it and hiding it, I'm embracing it because I think it's, I'm at the point in my
life where I think it'd be a disservice to myself to ignore the fact that I, I'm trying to fucking
be somebody and I'm trying to not be somebody, but like be an online entertainer and like be a
social media person where you click my profile and it's like oh what has she got to give me or
what has she got to what what is what does she have to say and whatnot and like who is this
chick and click her you click her um podcast and then you're like wow oh my gosh I'm getting to
know her and then 10 episodes deeper like I'm her best friend and wow she's really helping me get
through stuff because she's going through what I'm going through and like that's the goal you
know what I mean? I'm, I'm at the point where I want to have conversations that are, that are
therapeutic for myself and then helpful for other people because of it. You know what I mean? So,
um, oh my gosh, the neighbors are popping off. I'm going to end this 848. What do we have here?
okay so I'm looking at a guy and a girl he's got a box with a question mark on it oh my gosh it's
a pinata it's a pinata oh my gosh this is a gender reveal oh my gosh it's a gender reveal it's a
yellow box with a question mark she doesn't look pregnant so I think she's just attending the
gender reveal and there's streamers coming off the bottom of the pinata I'm sure it's going to
be like a blue or a pink thing that pops out that's fun so eight in the morning that's my
entertainment the guy I will say that I mentioned earlier that was uh drinking the pepsi looking
confused he left his brown paper bag on the on the curb I'm kind of wondering what's in that
no one's really going up to it there's a lot of runners and walkers around but no one's really
looking at the bag so it's probably got fucking hot cheetos in it or something and like pack of
cigs. I don't even know. Okay. 46 minutes. Um, I definitely need to drink more coffee.
Let me give you a little more ASMR to finish this out.
God, that's so beautiful. I'm the type of person that I go to sleep. You know,
some people talk about, Oh, I get so excited when I go to sleep to eat breakfast in the morning.
that's cool but um I literally hate the fact I have to sleep eight hours sometimes because all
I want to do is wake up and make my coffee wake up and make my coffee I get excited about waking
up and drinking coffee like it's dumb it's so dumb it's like oh Christmas morning every
fucking morning for me when I drink my coffee so oh my gosh it's so good I can't stop
honestly instant coffee underrated everyone needs to get on it um
trader joe's is decent it's uh i think it's a colombian yeah colombian roast um but yeah
instant coffee two heaping tablespoons concentrate that with hot water like a fourth a cup
pour it over ice almond milk so good um
shit. I'm looking at my mask here. Okay. So here's, I'm, I'm now I'm kind of logging,
kind of walking you through what I'm looking at, what I'm doing. So I'm looking at my stove right
now, my oven, and I've got a pot on top of silver. I really need to clear out my congestion.
Hold on. Okay. I just feel like I've been bubbly in the throat and the nose this whole time. And I,
I know I'm going to listen to this and be so annoyed, but that's my journey. I got to accept
myself and I got to like, not worry about how I sound, but wow, there's something like going on
of my nose. Okay. So I'm looking at my, my oven. I can't stop burping. This is disgusting. Oh my
gosh. And I don't want to be like this. I want to be like, nobody, you don't need to know about
this. It's like too much information. Okay. Enough about my bodily functions. Okay. I'm looking at
my oven and I have a Caffelon pot, silver pot on top. And on the end of the handle is my mask.
It's my mask. Shout out Maverick clothing. They sent me this for free for joining the Maverick
club and it's hanging here because, because I washed it last night and I hung dry it and it
smells let me smell it it smells like basil uh Meyers basil dish soap it's oh that's so nice
wait that's like too nice how good that smells okay so I'm just smelling that and it's fully
dry but um I do that a lot I this is like the hanging spot for my mask after I wash it
I hanging out over the over the my stove on a pot handle and uh yeah I'm gonna have to put that on
when I go to the gym and yesterday when I was oh I'm so annoyed but like you know oh my gosh people
are gonna come for me I'm so like oh my gosh I'm gonna get this is like how people get canceled
I'm nobody so I'm not worried but like if someone of high status and like a celebrity or someone
said this they would be fucking oh it would be done people like a lot of people would hate them
for it but like I'm at the gym I'm looking around no one's really wearing their mask appropriately
okay it's September it's like first week of September we've been at this game for
months fucking decades of a year that's how every month feels like a decade it's like you get
through a month and it's like August was like in the 90s and then July was the 80s and 70s it's
such I feel like this shit has dragged on so long and uh I'm not an anti-masker okay I'm down to
wear it and to just keep the fucking peace in public and I and I do it as a courtesy for other
people and you know protecting myself of course oh my gosh oh my gosh of course why would I ever
expose myself to the virus in public but um anyways I'm at the gym and I'm wearing my mask
kind of under my lip you know what I'm saying like down over because I'm I'm on the treadmill
while doing my warmup and walking. And I felt so bad for her. Like the, the, the woman working
there, she was going around to everyone and she was doing the little like nose tap to put your
mask up and she did it to me. And I'm like, this is so weird anyways. So yeah, that, that, that's
just, it's weird. Like there's a lot of people, there are a lot of people wearing the mask fully
at the gym and there's a lot of people that it's just chilling on their chin. Um, and I happen to
be one of those people because I don't want to go into it. You can read between the lines where
I'm, where I'm at with this whole thing now, uh, in September, but yeah. All right. So 51 minutes.
Happy Saturday. Happy Labor Day weekend. Um, I hope, I hope you're, um, happy. Like honestly,
everything to me boils down to happiness it really does so I hope you're happy I hope
you're fulfilled to me that is the true sign of success in life are you fulfilled in what
you're doing every day when you wake up are you fulfilled in your family life your social life
and your work life? Are you fulfilled? Because I think when you're fulfilled in what you're
doing and the people you're around enrich your life, you're happy. And that is the true sign
of success in my eyes. And whatever that is for you, um, whatever combination things makes you
happy. That's awesome. Do your thing. And I support you. And, uh, why am I, I'm, I'm, I'm,
I'm turning into a zombie of myself right now, trying to do a motivation, motivational speech,
because I can't end a podcast. And I, I, I struggle. I would be a terrible pilot. Cause
I will never like, I will keep the plane in the sky for, I will just enjoy the, like, I can't,
it's a term, it's a term, it's a, it's a term to end a conversation. It's a, it's a figure of
speech of like land the plane, put the thing on the ground, like finish the conversation.
Um, I don't know. I just get attached. I get attached to my own thoughts and my own podcast
and I don't want to end. And this is the part. So I just did the motivational speech. I fucking
talk to you, talk to you guys about everything I do in my morning routine. Um,
whatever. I don't even know. This is a, this is a, this is a plane. This is now a plane crash.
So I'm going to, I'm looking at my journal right now. I'm going to write my tasks down for the day.
I keep it under seven. That's the magic number for me. Uh, it's not a problem right now to keep
but under seven, um, it's Saturday. Like there's going to be like two things on here, workout,
shower, and a frolic. Go have a me day, go shopping, go to the beach, go. I'm going to
definitely, uh, my, I'm going to do my nails today. I'm going to get a pedicure.
So yeah. Um, have an amazing Saturday, have an amazing Labor Day weekend. I, like I said,
I hope you're happy. Um, and I hope this helped you in some way. I don't know. I just feel
obligated to say that. Uh, I don't know. Podcast, whenever I listen to podcasts, I feel so much
better. I, I feel comforted. I feel so cozy. Like when someone's talking my ear while I'm
living my life and like doing stuff and I've got a podcast on, I feel so like
nestled up right next to them and comfortable and I want it that's and it helps it really
genuinely helps me so here I am trying to do that for you guys and uh or whatever
maybe you're just intrigued by I don't know how I make coffee and what am I saying okay
have an amazing day and uh I will talk to you guys uh in the next podcast and that might be
tomorrow I I'm thinking about when I say daily podcast I'm thinking like a Monday through Friday
not necessarily weekends but I'm inspired right now to keep it going so I might talk to you
tomorrow all right if that's the case talk to you tomorrow if not talk to you Monday all right bye
