Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey guys, happy Thursday. It's episode 216. Welcome back to the show. good morning it's currently 6 12 a.m uh, I thought I'd change it up today and do a wake up podcast where I literally roll out of bed, make coffee and talk to you. Um, I feel like I'm pushing myself right now. I literally had one sip of this iced Americano and I have no, I have like no caffeine in me and this is really hard. I'm just going to chug it. Yeah. I don't know why I want to do this. I just feel, I just feel like it. Um, do you guys want to know my morning routine? Do you want me to be a little guru a little beauty guru right now and tell you what I did to my face before this podcast like
Starting point is 00:01:06 what do I what I what uh Jimmy's whining on the bed right now do I have a morning voice is this my morning voice I think so okay so here's my thought uh this could go in 10 different directions and I haven't picked one because I literally just woke up at six um let me drink some water I do chug a lot of water in the morning I wake up I kind of I have a little bit of a puffy face I'm a little bit congested and I can't think straight so this is a miracle I feel like I'm doing okay so far but anyways this podcast could go into 10 different directions direction one is immediately go on Amazon and shop for shit that I think I need but I probably don't okay so there's one direction we can go. Option two, by the way, I don't, I'm not on my phone right now. It's the
Starting point is 00:02:02 morning. I don't usually touch my phone this early. I try not to, unless I'm checking my stocks, but, um, whatever. Okay. So phone's off to the side right now. Um, fucking what am I, what was I saying? Stock market opens. Like I check, so 630, I like freak out. That's usually when my phone is like going off um because when that's when the stock market our market opens on the well like for us on the west coast 6 30 jesus uh nobody cares that you're uh an investor nobody gives a fuck you're you're a woman get in the kitchen start cooking uh breakfast ah dude i'm not awake yet this is inappropriate and i'm also performing because when i put on the microphone i feel like i do a little performance
Starting point is 00:02:47 and this is this is obnoxious so yeah I could go on Amazon direction two would be um yeah I'm not on my phone I could go on this um this website I found that has a review of James Clear's Atomic Habits book and I could brush up on that because that book is life-changing and I feel like I haven't I like to revisit books that were life-changing for me every like six months ish Or I don't know, I just like to reopen them or read the reviews, read the like the chapter by chapter summaries of these books again, just to brush up. Because I feel like with books, a lot of it is obvious information that you've probably already learned before, but it's put together in a little package for you. And then after you read it, it's fresh on the brain and then it's at the top of your brain. And so you're thinking about it all the time or, or not all the time, but like you start
Starting point is 00:03:48 thinking about the, the, those ideas again. And so that's what I might do today to start my morning off. Right. Um, Jesus, it's like a, anyways, personal development, but we could do that. We could do a shopping podcast today. We could do a personal development podcast today. Should I talk about my coffee? Um, I, I, I'm into the iced Americanos lately.
Starting point is 00:04:11 No cream or sugar. uh well I don't really put I don't put sugar in my coffee anyways but uh sometimes I put cream creamer like almond creamer but I buy the eight o'clock fuck this is a struggle I don't know if I'm good at this uh this morning podcast dude people on the radio first of all first of all uh former Jacqueline former me in the past my past life wanted to be a news reporter and those motherfuckers wake up at like two in the morning that's a whole different lifestyle I mean that's your you're going to bed at 5 p.m or 6 p.m or whatever and you're waking up at two and you have to be on point like you have to be on point reading in the teleprompter
Starting point is 00:04:54 look and fly with your hair done makeup done you have to have your cute little dress on doing the weather and shit at like I feel like they do it live though it's like five in the morning but still um it's a lot so I don't know uh wait what was I saying oh yeah I feel like I'm not on point I'm not oh this is obnoxious because I'm podcast I'm trying to be on right now and it's too early so I drink so I drink uh iced Americanos now I get on this so my part of my subscription thing I have on Amazon whatever that subscribe and save thing is is uh so I get nut pods creamer and eight o'clock espresso beans the bulk size bag delivered to me like every two weeks because I go through so much fucking coffee and that's my combo so I usually start the day off
Starting point is 00:05:47 with right now I'm drinking I pulled four shots yeah four shots on ice and then I add water to the cup and I buy those cups you know when you go to a coffee shop this is gonna sound fucked up okay just like ride this wave with me right now let me describe what I'm holding you know when you go to a coffee shop and maybe it's a drive-thru and they hand you the coffee through the window and you're taking it to go yeah so I'm holding that kind of cup okay it happens to it happens to be clear and it happens to feel like I just went and bought this somewhere and it's not homemade um there's a straw sticking out of the top of it okay it has a nice little uh lid to keep it all shut. It's a plastic coffee. It's a plastic iced coffee cup. Okay. That's what I use. That's what
Starting point is 00:06:37 I put my, that's what I put my Americano in right now. And that's what I'm drinking out of. And, uh, I did a whole thing about plastic and why I buy it and why I use plastic coffee cups back in, uh, a couple months ago. And it's not me trying to be different than other people. There's a legitimate reason for it. And, or like different or quirky or like, or like, I don't believe in saving the turtles and shit it's not has nothing to do with that literally it has to it just go listen to the episode called plastic is self-care uh anyway so that's what I do what am I saying did I pick a theme today did I go in a direction a direction oh I saw that Lauren um from the Skinny Confidential Lauren Bostic came out with I'm looking at my ice roller right now she just
Starting point is 00:07:25 came out with uh I don't know if anyone follows her or listens to her podcast her podcast is great uh they just interviewed Michael and her just interviewed uh Sophia Franklin from former Call Her Daddy host co-host um and she's got her own podcast now which I really like but anyways they interviewed her which I thought was a great great episode anyways the point of me saying this is Lauren just came out with a product and she's got a new ice roller um she's been a blogger and podcaster for so long and now she's got her own um she just came out with a new product and it's it looks legit because here's the thing I have this ice roller and I use this in the morning I don't know if you can hear it oh it feels so good um but it doesn't stay cold
Starting point is 00:08:10 very long and it it's just kind of a piece of shit and it's kind of ugly and hers is aluminum I believe I believe and you freeze it and it stays cold for like two days uh I'm excited about it I hope I think I'm gonna buy it for myself because I want to support her and I don't think I'm on that pr list i'm not i'm not that cool yet question mark am i that cool uh i don't know i'm not i'm literally on zero i have no pr i'm not on any pr list but um that's by choice that's by design i don't try i don't reach out i don't promote the podcast i don't advertise i don't do anything i just whatever um but yeah i'm excited about that um i think she's probably gonna come out with more stuff in the future and she also has like a ice queen I believe face oil which is
Starting point is 00:08:58 cool but my method so when I wake up with a little a little puffy face I like how I was gonna go shopping on Amazon and then also read James Clear's Atomic Habits like the summary of the book and brush up on it again and now I'm talking about like icing my face I love myself this is a great podcast this is called wake up start off with a positive mood drink a little coffee uh go on 10 different tangents. It's all good. So my method though, for de-puffing my face is obnoxious because I straight up take, because no, no product I've used before. No, like ice roller has done the job. Like I use, um, ice cubes. I put the, I put them straight on my eyeballs and my face. The thing is it's really effective. I'll be honest. Like I don't think anything I'm sure her ice
Starting point is 00:09:48 roller could actually I'm sure it's just as good as an ice cube but nothing beats um no ice roller I've ever used beats just sticking an ice cube on your face and I will roll my face will be bright red by the end of it and then oh my god guys and she also got me on to shout out Lauren um she's got the best tips and tricks and shit for like being a woman and like just things like we have there's so many little maintenance things we have to do and she's the queen of like categorizing them all on our blog and like always telling us the latest and greatest shit about like what we need to start doing but I swear to god when I first heard this I was like why haven't I been doing this because I'm someone who I feel like most people your face just looks like a little
Starting point is 00:10:35 off in the morning like you're a little puffy you know if you had salt the night before or whatever but she got me onto using a vibrator on my face and let me tell you I remember I teased that for so long in the beginning of sorry I'm going on another tangent I was like guys I'm gonna tell you my dirty little secret the thing I do to my face that's life-changing and I teased it for like a month in the beginning of the in the pod beginning of the podcast and then I finally revealed that I used a vibrator on my face like I literally bought a vibrator just for my face because that's it it de-puffs it so well and it's it's you know when you go to Sephora though this is the thing this I feel like this is a girl is this a girly podcast I don't I haven't I never
Starting point is 00:11:17 talk about girly stuff I'm like I I don't know I usually don't but here we go whenever you go to Sephora or next time you go check out the face tool section I'll be god damn if I didn't see like the last time I was there I was like oh they're selling dildos now oh they're selling like oh okay so this is a sex shop and a makeup store okay but then you look a little closer and all these devices are specifically for your face and they all vibrate it's the same it's you're not getting your face off okay you're fucking de-puffing it with the vibration so anyways why was I talking about that oh yeah I use so my method is straight up ice just ice cubes until my face turns like a like purple and then honestly you look so snatched after that I mean
Starting point is 00:12:09 there's nothing that you have to just muscle through it and be cold on your face and then yeah you look so good everything's like tight and your cheekbones are showing and your eyes are de-puffed so you do that but then level two like if okay let's just say I have a coffee date or I need to be somewhere early in the morning and I want to look great I used to do this when I worked my normal like corporate job before the pandemic shut down or before I got laid off and shit um I would do this in the morning I do the ice and then I do the vibrator and then I use like an oil on my face while I use okay this is like obnoxious but I put fucking saran wrap okay wait oh my god I just feel so I don't like the silicone feeling on my skin like I feel like it tugs at it
Starting point is 00:12:57 so I legit put I'll put like oil on my face like face oil and then a saran wrap over the head of the vibrator and then I'll put I'll turn it on and it like glides like butter on my face and I'll do that and jawline on point cheekbones on point eyes de-puffed um level three would be or like the level zero before you do that would be honestly this would eliminate having to do the face shit in total um still not talking I'm still not shopping shopping on Amazon still not brushing up like still not doing my self-development research or whatever the fuck on James Clear's book level zero and honestly this is like the best thing to do is do a fuck ton of cardio or just like get really sweaty uh like roll out of bed and do a HIIT workout or like get
Starting point is 00:13:51 get your like that nothing gets my face snatched more than a long run or a long run or a hard workout and it gets all the lymphatic shit moving in your body and all that it drains out and you just look better and that's why I like working out in the morning is because I look really good all day um I glow you know so um okay so what do we want to do let's go to Amazon enough about that I just wanted to say that I think yeah I wanted to shout out Lauren for her new product I'm excited about it looks big too like it doesn't look like a little bitch ass ice roller it's like a it'll cover your face uh sometimes i go on pinterest in the morning was that a burp sometimes i go on pinterest in the morning just to like feel inspired and like i don't know just look at shit
Starting point is 00:14:38 um the morning is kind of my inspo time with myself i just like think about what i want to do in my life and like who what kind of woman I want to be and like what I want to wear today and like what I want to I don't know so I don't really need anything on Amazon but I feel like what am I out of let me go to my supplements um this is boring as fuck I think I want to get um I need new magnesium you guys this is boring I just need to put my new, new magnesium in the car. I'll buy it later. I don't want to do this now. Um, puppy, I definitely need to get him, um, a new collar and I want to get him this peanut butter when he runs out of his, the peanut butter I'm using for him now that's made for puppies.
Starting point is 00:15:35 It's called buddy butter and maybe a bone. I need, I need a new Nyla bone. Okay. This is boring. I'm going to, you know what, let's just like get our heads on straight today. Jacqueline, go to James Clear's Atomic Habits. Start your day off right. James Clear Atomic Habits book summary. Enter. I'm only like a third of the way through my coffee and I feel like I'm pretty awake. So I'm just going to read a few of these and brush up. Again, it's just, it's one of those books that you read it and you're like fuck yeah this is this is what life's all about man this is what I need to start applying or um because I had an issue let me just try to remember what I've told you guys in the past I think my biggest opportunity I don't want to make it
Starting point is 00:16:32 negative what do you say when you're like in a job interview and they're like what's the weakness you're like oh you make it a positive thing um I realized that like one of the issues I'm just gonna be honest one of my one of my fucked up personality traits or my my character flaws or my just weaknesses as a human being was like wanting like having a goal on my mind and then not accomplishing it time after time after time after time after time and so because I would get excited about the goal I'd set out I'd start taking action towards the goal and then I would get that initial hit of like I guess uh momentum or like oh I'm doing this and then I don't know what happens but I would just trail off and stop
Starting point is 00:17:25 working on it and then I'd get excited about a different goal or I would fuck up and like feel defeated. And then I would just give up. I would literally just give up. I'm a loser. I'm a loser. Everyone's a loser at some point. And I was a loser many times in my 20 so far with my goals. And now I think, so literally I cracked. I feel like part of the reason why I said I'm doing a podcast seven days a week is because I can't fuck up. I can't skip a day. I can't just not do it. And so this is helping me because a lot with my other goals, because I realized that you just look at the day ahead you look out at the horizon okay I'm Captain Jack Sparrow every day I'm looking out the fucking horizon I'm on my ship and I'm like what do I got to do today to
Starting point is 00:18:11 get from point A to point B I don't need to accomplish my goal today but what can I do to get myself a little bit closer and this sounds obvious okay this sounds like duh but I think I was I don't know I was in the I had a perfectionist mindset and I was always like looking at the end result and oh I'd feel I I would instead of like appreciating where I'm at where I'm at today I'm like going wow I'm closer today than I was yesterday I would think about I would look too far in the future and like getting the goal and I don't know I was focused I was focused on the end result and not the process or the anyways okay James clears atomic habits go read it here are the five big ideas these are like the bullet points I wanted to brush back up on
Starting point is 00:19:05 habits are the number one habits are the compound interest to Jimmy's whining on the bed he wants to come out here so bad he sleeps in it's funny like I get up pretty early he used to wake me up at 5 30 but now he'll lay in bed he'll lay in bed until 8 8 a.m if he wanted to but um anyways so yeah he's whining he always he feels like okay he's so big now he can jump off the bed the thing is if it's dark he'll jump off the bed because he i guess can't see how high up it is he doesn't get scared about that but when it's light out in the morning like it is now he can see the ground from the bed and he gets intimidated by it and he doesn't trust his legs he doesn't trust his body and he whines and I have to go pick him up and like literally take him off the bed like a
Starting point is 00:19:56 foot and a half to the floor so I don't know I'm just gonna let him he'll be fine um his bladder's doing a lot better now it's bigger you know his organs are growing and he doesn't pee like every five every two hours and he can hold it while I podcast. Oh, I love rubbing my eyes in the morning. It feels great. Okay. So the five big ideas. Number one. Habits are the compound interest of self-improvement. number two if you want better results then forget about setting goals focus on your system instead okay I want to brush back up on the system today number three the most effective way to change your habits is to focus not on what you want to achieve Jacqueline but on who you wish
Starting point is 00:20:55 to become I said that in the beginning I the morning is about envisioning the woman I want to be yeah okay so I feel like I'm solid on that or I think about that number four the four laws of behavior change are a simple set of rules we can use to build better habits they are one make it obvious two make it attractive three make it easy and four make it satisfying last big idea number five environment is the invisible hand that shapes human behavior and then here we got every chapter and then all these notes on each chapter this is but this let me just shout out the website here I'm on samuelthomasdavies.com. I guess he does book summaries. And so yeah, he did this for James Clear's book. Now, a couple things stood out to me here. Okay, so focus on your system
Starting point is 00:21:59 instead of if he says if you want better results, then forget about setting goals, focus on your system instead yeah I mean I did a about a month ago I was realizing that I'm approaching the year one year anniversary of COVID and last March through like July I I just I was depressed as fuck I actually was I was depressed and I let myself just well I don't like I don't know how to explain it but the world was shut down I lost my job I moved into a new apartment in a new place I didn't really know anybody in this area and I just felt like I don't know I just I was like allowing the world events to I honestly think everything's everything's a choice okay and I do have a chemical imbalance or whatever I had that
Starting point is 00:22:49 chemical fucking fucking imbalance or whatever the doctor said I had but I don't know I feel like it was a choice I was just like letting the stories that were being told on the TV and the stories I was telling myself consume me and I just spiraled all day long in thought and I talked shit to myself all day long and how much of a loser I was and how much I hated myself and how much I was going nowhere in my life and I'm in I'm in my mid-20s and why haven't I figured it out yet and what's my thing and what am I gonna do for the rest of my life and how and I literally just was in depressed I was so fucking depressed so anyways a year ago or excuse me a month ago ish I said hey I know this one year lockdown anniversary
Starting point is 00:23:35 is approaching and uh I want to set myself up for success I don't want I just want to get my I want to focus on getting my shit together I felt like at that time I was approaching a funk and because I have I have a lot of momentum right now a lot of good things are happening in my life And anyways, I, um, it was like, I want to like refocus my system back to this. I want to like focus on my system, think about it, get it really tight. So I haven't talked about it in a while, but basically, uh, I'm going to tie this because before, so when I, when everything was locked down, every day was the same. I didn't have a system. I couldn't go to the gym in the morning. First thing, like I used to, I didn't have my job to go to with all my coworkers, like everything
Starting point is 00:24:18 in my life shut down. And so I wasn't, um, a rock star at like, I don't know. I was just like allowing myself to be a lazy fuck. Honestly, I think that's why I was depressed. I was literally just like, well, whatever. I can't go anywhere. I can't do anything. And then I'd lay around and think about myself and pick myself apart all day. And, um, you know, I have hindsight now or whatever that, what do you, you know, I have hindsight. Is that it? I'm like, dude, I did that. I literally did it to myself. I think it was necessary because now I'm on the other side and I catch myself spiraling now. And I go, dude, the reason your life is hell is because you overthink everything and you sit in your thoughts and you overanalyze and you worry about shit that
Starting point is 00:25:05 doesn't matter and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And now I catch myself and I just shift and I just go, okay, I don't want to think like, I don't want to feel like that anymore. I don't want to feel bad about myself. I'm not going to, these thoughts aren't useful. This isn't helping my life. And I just choose to have a good day. And I literally have great, I'm almost, I'm like, I'd say like every month I might have maybe one really shitty day, but not even that. Like I'm mostly good now it's great okay um the system yeah sorry I I told you guys about my get my shit together routine which is basically me cutting myself off from working past a certain hour of the day and having structure around work because before that I had just I worked seven days
Starting point is 00:25:54 a week I work at 11 p.m I'll work until one in the morning I'll wake up at five I'll work in the like early hours of the morning like I had no structure with work so I wanted to refocus my system and I put myself literally on an eight to five I did yoga at the same time every day I went to bed at the same time every day I woke up well I usually wake up at the same time anyways but you know what I mean and I that was I like created a new system that was really structured and that helped me a lot and I feel like it's still it's still working um but it's like whatever your goal is back to this it's like focus on the system instead of the goal or I guess you got to have so if you have the goal it's like re reverse engineer it and break it down into little
Starting point is 00:26:44 this is so obvious I feel like this is not I don't like doing self-help shit on this podcast um yeah just deconstruct the goal and then like like put things down like put some bullet points down on a notepad and be like every day and be like okay i gotta do the x y and z each day to get closer to the goal okay anyways um yeah so number three here the most effective way to change your habits is to focus not on what you want to achieve but on who you wish to become I haven't I want to keep it to myself but I'm um which is rare that I keep anything to myself these days but I don't know what I don't know what's been getting into me lately but I
Starting point is 00:27:39 I've been inspired, um, about the woman I want to become so much that I literally can't stop thinking about it all day. Like it's something new and it's exciting and it's not that, I don't know, like you guys are probably like, what are you talking about? I just feel, um, like this is something I definitely do. I'm a, I'm a bit of a daydreamer a little bit. So I don't like let myself get lost in my daydreaming, but lately I've been kind of daydreaming about the woman I want to be in the future. And it's positive. It's exciting. I'm really focusing on it because I realized that moving forward with like, you know, just life, and meeting people, and relationships, and getting involved with other
Starting point is 00:28:34 people, and friendships, and everything, like, I just really want to be, I just really want to be, uh, the best version of myself, and, like, I don't know, I just am thinking about it more now, it's kind of vague, there's some, there's some very fucking specific things that I've been like zeroing in on about myself and and a lot of them like let me just kind of maybe hint here a lot of these not necessarily changes I want to make but things I want to resurface about who I am are like I'm resurface resurfacing them from the past because I think there's a time in my 20s where I got really experimental I was trying it all throwing a bunch of shit at the wall to see what's what sticks or whatever and with that I
Starting point is 00:29:30 it's not like I forgot who I was before I started dabbling around and all these new things but some of my passions some of the things about me that made me me were kind of buried and I I like forgot about them and I feel like I'm in this phase right now of trying to re discover like 18 year old Jacqueline like 16 50 like the parts of me that are soul they're like me they're like in me and that make me unique and and and so me and um it's been fun because I've been like back to Pinterest like I guess I go on there and I I I like look shit up and I get inspired I'm like yes this is like the woman I don't know how to explain it um it's like an aesthetic thing I'm trying to refocus or like like aesthetic meaning I don't want to get into
Starting point is 00:30:24 I really want to be vague I really want to be vague you guys will see eventually I guess um teaser but yeah I think it's good to envision who you want to be what kind of person you are to other people how you treat people um what your values are blah blah like you could just go on and on and on and it's like you have your job like what you do is obvious like oh I have a job I podcast I'm a daughter I'm a sister I'm a friend I'm a dog mom like you got that's who like what you are is obvious like what you do is obvious but who you are is I don't know something to think about. And, uh, I'm not caffeinated. I feel like I'm coming down. I love, I love coffee. Who doesn't? If you don't like coffee, I was, I was reviewing, I was reviewing Hinge
Starting point is 00:31:20 Profiles. What was it? Monday? A Monday's episode. And someone said they didn't, they've never had coffee. And I was like, the only time it's okay to not like coffee or, uh, like like never drink it which I don't I just don't understand is if you drink it and you will die like it will like coffee will kill you if you drink it that's the only time it's okay to not drink coffee I don't care if you don't like the taste like you at least need to try it or like drink it and I don't know like like drink it if you don't like the taste of coffee keep drinking it until you like the taste of coffee. Be just come on. Anyways. Um, systems. Yeah. Systems wish or I don't know. Did I, did I even get, did I even like say anything today
Starting point is 00:32:17 or was I just talking in tangents? I feel like I was kind of both. Um, yeah. Focus on the system. Okay. I just feel like, what else can I talk about? What am I going to do today? It's a work day. Um, I'm going to walk Jimmy. I'm going to, um, I don't know. I have no people watching. It's kind of light out right now. The sun's coming up. And so, I mean, there's, there aren't any walkers out yet, but I used to podcast in the morning and people watched the whole time. And it was, it was a lot of fun. There's a lot of action happening on the street. I mean, I got to give myself some credit. The last time I people watched, uh, I watched a body fly in the air because someone got hit on a motorcycle outside my
Starting point is 00:33:05 apartment. So that was exciting. And then I also, the, the time before that I people watched a dog got hit by a car and so and it died so I've had great people watching lately but it's been like what they're they've been one-off episodes by the way the guy on the motorcycle survived the dog didn't um but it was very uh like scary the whole situation with him and the motorcycle and the car hitting it and him being injured and I did a whole podcast I think the podcast is literally called motorcycle crash yeah um oh wait i do have a woman here it looks like she went to vaughn's at like 5 a.m when it opened she's bringing in vaughn's grocery bags to her house she's got a cute little orange purse um she's an older woman cute and she got a plant so
Starting point is 00:34:02 old people go to the grocery store five in the morning like I so my grandpa back when I stayed his house or whatever like I don't really stay at his house anymore but yeah my grandma and grandpa but specifically my grandpa growing up would always go to the grocery store at like five right when they open and he'd go to the bakery and get us all donuts or he'd get I don't know just like bagels or whatever he'd get us pastries and shit and then we like if we stayed the night there um we'd wake up and he'd like walk in the door super early and he'd have like bag grocery bags and he maybe he got like some Tropicana and like some oranges and some breakfast items that grandma needed to make us breakfast that morning and um I don't know I
Starting point is 00:34:49 just remember him getting up really early and going to the grocery store and that's such a vibe like I don't know has anyone done that you're like fuck it it opens at five I'm gonna go grocery shop grocery shopping at 5 a.m. I think you know I've been okay do I want to talk about my grocery shopping behaviors lately or like what I you guys know forever when I got Jimmy um the like the first two months I did um Amazon I just shopped I got my groceries delivered because for convenience with him but um you know I go to the grocery store now and I always pick I'm always like oh it's a Tuesday at 6 PM. Who's going to be there. And then I keep striking out. Like whenever I show up at the grocery store, a thousand people are there and you know how I feel about parking
Starting point is 00:35:35 lots, grocery store parking lots are the fucking, I just Elon someone, we got to reinvent the parking lot. We got to restructure it. We got to rethink it. We got to rework it. Um, I have an issue with parking lots I just especially grocery stores and people going behind your car with a cart you're backing out and everything's annoying and I don't know all right I think that's gonna be today's episode I read you the five big ideas of James Clear's atomic habits I what else did I talk about before that I don't even remember I told you what I drank coffee wise I talked about icing my face uh yeah happy Thursday I mean shit hope you have a great day this is like a weird energy because it's early but maybe this is your bedtime story podcast like it's it's calm um
Starting point is 00:36:38 I just feel like when you do it seven days a week you're gonna when I so part of doing it seven days a week is like or I'm gonna give you all flavors of who I am or like my personality because I'm doing it at random times of the day I never set a certain time of the day to podcast and so this is 6 a.m Jacqueline and it is what it is okay um and another thing I just want to re say this or whatever I don't think I really I don't really say this ever actually I realized when I get on the microphone I'm on or whatever I'm like putting on a little I'm like entertaining I'm like putting on a little mini performance it's a podcast I'm a host this is a podcast but I'm not a talkative person in the morning at all ask my mom like I don't
Starting point is 00:37:36 talk before coffee I don't wake up and go hi like good morning like no this is a this is a challenge this has been a challenge I pushed myself today um I need a lot of I need like an hour while I drink coffee I need silence I just need to like chill and wake up um so anyways don't get it twisted I'm not that psycho person in the morning like hi what's going on no all right hit that subscribe button I'm here seven days a week this is my audio diary I get on the microphone every day and I talk it out um and head over to patreon.com slash tjms if you want to support the show you guys all know what patreon is probably by now it's my subscription subscription service where you get access to my extra content patrons get a shout out every friday they get phone calls
