Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey guys, happy Saturday. It's episode 274. Welcome back to the show. hi it's jacqueline welcome back to the show happy happy weekend happy Saturday um if you're new if you're just joining me I podcast every day literally seven days a week I set out to do this back in September 2020 for one year straight and we're going strong we're about a hundred days out a hundred days out from uh hitting a year my one year anniversary and then she's taking a nap I don't think I'm gonna keep doing this it's getting tough lately podcasting seven days a week has been tough and I don't need the sooner I stopped talking about this the better honestly I'd every I feel like every episode for the last
Starting point is 00:01:07 month I've mentioned how it's just it's not the same anymore I don't feel the same as I did at the beginning it's losing its luster I'm not feeling inspired so anyways I need to like whatever get over it but uh yeah also if you're new um I do a Q&A on Saturday every week ever I do a Q&A every Saturday so this means I've done 34 weeks of podcasting all right first question we're just going to use the random question generator you really know I'm in a rut when I'm not taking questions from Instagram like the Q&A box thing I'm not doing that today I'm doing my favorite little robot on the internet called the random question generator. And honestly, this is fun because it's a random question generator, but I get to think about
Starting point is 00:01:59 things I never think about. And they're not surface level questions like, hey, Jacqueline, like, what's your favorite color? And like, what are you like, what are you doing today? I love when people ask me that it's like okay I'm just gonna like you know whatever um sorry I'm pulling it up I'm not thinking about what I'm saying yeah these are like deep questions sometimes like here we go first question let's just do it what's your favorite way to meet new people favorite way to meet new people is definitely through Instagram um no in person like I just met someone in my favorite way ever on the street she came up to me and Jimmy and she introduced herself or she was like telling me about how she had a dog too and like that's
Starting point is 00:02:53 what people do with dogs they talk about their dogs and stuff but yeah she just came up to me and she was super nice and we ended up exchanging numbers and we're gonna get coffee because she was like hey do you want to be friends I'm new to the area I just moved here from Chicago like hey you know I love that kind of stuff and it feels that feels the most like natural and like nice and warm and like I don't know because especially young people in in a city when that happens it's cool because you're like or I especially like when that happens with people around my age because I think it's common and it's a thing where a lot of people are new to a place they don't know anyone it's not like high school where you're thrown into a classroom all day long with a ton
Starting point is 00:03:38 of people your age to be friends with like it's based off of like where you work and then you're friends with co-workers and then but it's different because they're like work friends and then we're not really mingling like we used to so I love it when people are just they come out strong and they're just like hey do you want to be friends what's your number do you want to get coffee and it's like yes so that's probably my favorite way to meet new people because it just happened um I like me dude I've made some great friends in the bathroom at like midnight 1 a.m in bars like I feel like that's when girls are at their best to be honest like to make friends with someone in a like a I like making friends with girls when I'm super drunk because there's
Starting point is 00:04:23 so many walls down and it's just like you just feel you are you already feel like your best friends at that point when you're super drunk with them and you're just like oh my god but then the thing is I realized about that is like if you once you hang out with them when you're sober it's like it does change a little bit but um at least you had like that drunken bonding experience where she was like wiping your makeup or like helping you with your outfit or whatever anyways uh but yeah, I think this, in summary, my favorite way to meet new people is in person. Um, however, however, I like vetting, I like vetting people. No, I like, I like that social media. If you meet someone through that first, I like the whole pre-stalking thing we can do now where you can
Starting point is 00:05:15 feel them out a little bit first and see what their vibe is, what they're into, what their hobbies are and, you know, what their family looks like and who their cousins are. You can get on, you can get on Facebook, like legit, just go to someone. This is obvious information. I'm on my knees. Hold on. This is uncomfortable on my, uh, hard kitchen floor. I'm like kneeling at my desk. Like I'm in, I'm in church. So yeah, you just like go to someone's Facebook, you search their last name on their friends list and you figure out the family and it's just like so available for all of us and so useful if you're trying to see if they're the hot sibling or okay um next question jesus um
Starting point is 00:06:07 what is the best thing you got from your parents this ass the best thing I got from this my parents I mean I don't know I so many things like where do I start you know I could be you know here's the thing when people are like this sounds like so full of myself but when people are like wow you're so pretty you're like it's like I didn't thanks mom and dad it's literally like thanks mom and dad like they're they were hot they I had hot parents okay like grateful for this um vibe I've got outward shell thank you mom and dad um because in this world in this world that's help it's helpful it's helpful to be decent looking and
Starting point is 00:07:10 not you know I don't my eyes aren't crossed I don't have I'm not missing a nose like you know I got blessed and I know that and I'm not going to just sit here and like just act like I don't even I don't know why I decided to stick start with that first but I did recently get a DM about like where are your lips from your mom or your dad and I'm like it's an Instagram filter okay you literally on Instagram can take this filter it's called cute noise I think it makes the background all, like, vibey. I don't even know. And I usually never use filters, but lately it happened. But you can literally take the little thing on the side, the little ticker symbol thingy. It's not a ticker symbol. It's on a fucking stock. You take that little lever and you can push
Starting point is 00:08:00 it up or down and your upper lip will get bigger or smaller. So, literally, it's that. That's where my lips came from okay uh anyways and yeah so but the best thing I probably got from my parents is their um I'd say like work ethic and their values like the things we all like like how we how we approach life and like what we believe in and what we what's important to us and our like our strong family values I got from them um it's probably one of the best things I got definitely yeah definitely work ethic family values discipline like I got so many good tools in my toolbox from my parents I'd say the one thing that's a bit of a miss and I'm starting to notice it now and it's not a this is not something
Starting point is 00:08:55 I'm not saying this is a on my parents so much it's like we were so competitive as kids I had two I had two siblings one was one year older one was she is one is one year older one is a year and half younger and we were so like in competitive and in a good way with each other but it we were also thrown into the same activities and sports and everything and we're just like going going going going going and I wish something that I feel like something that I wish I learned or was taught by my parents or like instilled in me younger is to be nicer to myself and not such a harsh critic and not so hard on myself about not be like, if I'm not the best at something or if I'm not, you know, I'm a high achieving person. Right. But I didn't really know how to
Starting point is 00:09:49 talk to myself nicely when I didn't do well. It was just like, you're a loser. There's a winner. there's a loser that not I'm actually a loser but like if you lost the game if you lost the competition it wasn't like a it just I I don't know I I wasn't nice to myself I was super critical of myself and oh I can do better I should try harder you know I which is positive I think that's a good thing I think more parents need to treat their kids need to be um I don't like the whole everyone's a winner thing now obviously like I don't it's not true but I just don't like that way of parenting and like how kids are growing up now I just there are winners and there are losers in this life but my point is I'm trying to say that um yeah I think throughout adulthood so
Starting point is 00:10:41 far I've really had to learn how to be nicer to myself when I'm not at if I'm not um winning or like achieving or doing my best um I'm learning now my new mantra is it's uh don't focus on the end result focus on the process what what is it focus on be consistent be inspired it's another one I always say to myself um life should be effortless or you should that's the book I'm trying to I'm trying to like adopt my life effortless by John McCown McCown McCown um life should be as effortless as possible I think we make things too one harder than they need to be that was the whole concept of the book that's not what I'm
Starting point is 00:11:36 trying to say I'm saying that um oh my god I just lost my train of thought be consistent be inspired oh don't focus on the end result focus on being consistent kind of or like where you are now like one foot in front of the other just focus on today because I think my younger self was so goal-oriented to the or like focused on the overarching goal and like the big thing at the end so much so that I lost track of where I was at and I would get so down on myself about where I was at it felt so far from the end goal so anyways that's probably applicable to a lot of people out there if you're listening to me I'm just assuming you might relate to me in some way or some of the stuff I'm talking about in some way so I know we all deal with like goal setting
Starting point is 00:12:29 and achieving goals and being hard on ourselves and not being nice to ourselves and I don't know but shout out to my parents um what is the what was the question what's the best thing you got from your parents just like everything I I was raised really well I when I really when I think about it like super hard and look at my life now I'm like all of my siblings and I are independent high achieving people who have their shit together who all went through college I know that some people have their opinions about college but we all graduated college we're all like self-sufficient like I don't get like I pay for everything I have is because I worked hard for it and I earned it it's not because my parents like slapping money in my face it's like no they raised us to be
Starting point is 00:13:17 independent successful people and we all are I am that and it's just like dang excuse me I'm kind of congested like I'm that and of course I'm not where I'm not where I want I'm not where I'm never where I want to be no one's like I never satisfied right like that's something I'm also working through is like okay Jacqueline you've podcasted for 34 weeks straight that's something you've never done before that's pretty commendable that's pretty cool like that's a big deal right but I'm like so not impressed by myself or like I don't think like people say stuff to me and they're like or I'll get comments or DMs and they'll say like wow whatever blah blah about the podcast and I'm just like I see it from other people's eyes but like when I when you're me it's
Starting point is 00:14:03 like I don't know I'm not I just I don't know I think that's what keeps me sharp though is that I'm not complacent I don't complacency is a soul death like complacency once you become complacent your soul dies you might as well just die I do not ever want to be complacent in this life and be super like content with where I am because I just love the I just love to like push myself and I'm competitive like I grew up playing sports I was always even in school like I was competitive on that playground I was competitive with other people and like spelling bees and, you know, like talent shows and auditions for acting and everything. It was a competition. And for me now it's about, Jesus, this is such a long answer. I'm personally
Starting point is 00:14:58 competitive and I, I like, I like my life a lot. Let me tell you that too. When you have an edge, when you have a little sharp edge where you're like, fuck yeah, like own the day, win the day. What's that Aubrey Marcus book? Win the day, own your life, win the day, something like that. optimize your life when you've got momentum when you're feeling sharp about your your root like your lifestyle and your routine around your the goals you're trying to achieve like I get so that was that was a stupid noise what was that I don't know I get giddy I'm so happy and I'm so like yes about life right now and it wasn't always this way dude a year ago I was on my couch and I didn't leave my, I didn't leave my house for two weeks. I was so depressed.
Starting point is 00:15:44 That was bad. So it gets better. It gets better. Um, just focus on the day, the day ahead. Just keep it, keep it simple. Keep it simple. Life should be, I really got to read that effortless book. Greg McKeon, McKeon, McCone, Greg, I'll just say Greg, wrote Essentialism. Essentialism, which is another book that kind of changed my perspective about things in this life and especially like priorities and how I'm approaching tasks and like my day and stuff. Like Essentialism was a great book for that. And Effortless, I love the idea of the effortless book or that whole like theme of it and I actually drew on my whiteboard thing does anyone have something in their home that's visual for themselves but if
Starting point is 00:16:43 they have people over they have to hide it because I have a whiteboard that's like that it's like got my personal shit on it I someone I every time someone comes over I take that off my it's not like embarrassing it's just like this is like my brain on a board and this is just it's kind of like don't I don't want anyone else to know but me but I'll share this with you I obviously write which which podcast episode I'm on but I have this little horizon line with a sunshine so I drew a line and a sunshine with a smiley and uh this is just from hearing about the effortless book and the concept I heard about it and then I wrote this I like thought about it in my life excuse me and then coming from the horizon line is there there are two paths
Starting point is 00:17:35 two little skinny triangles that look like roads and then on the left it says under the road to the horizon line. It says hard, negative, and then the other side's easy, effortless. Now I know the thing about the thing about happiness and achieving your goals and like getting somewhere in life or being fulfilled in this life is that doing hard things usually makes you feel better than doing easy things like the hard things is what makes you feel good but this is more about mindset like you can choose to make things harder for so your mind is making things harder for you than it probably needs to be that's the whole idea behind this little diagram mind you're like okay I can
Starting point is 00:18:30 make things harder in my brain and spiral and get down and be like and vibrate low is how people say low vibration and and I'll be in a negative state versus knowing shit's hard but being like oh whatever it's like it's easy like when things that the thing is is like oh my god Andy Fursella is like the best at this kind of stuff so listen to his uh podcast what's it called it's not the MF CEO anymore. It's something Andy Frisella podcast. It's a real something. Let me look at all my podcast app. He's just like good at this motivation stuff. It's like knowing when I'm pulling up my library. Goggins too. Like, okay. Everything starts and ends in your mind, right? But it's easy. It's hard. Things are easy. It's like all, it's all up.
Starting point is 00:19:37 Okay. It makes sense in my brain. Um, what can I make as an, what can I use as an example? Like everything is easy. If you think everything you currently think is hard. could be easy if you could become easy if you think differently about it that's the whole concept so the easy effortless road is like okay if I just think positively about this hard thing it'll feel more effortless and I'll feel more in the like in the flow with getting like doing it than being like oh my god like for example I'll just use my podcast oh my god seven podcasting every single day oh my god that's gonna be so hard how am I gonna be able to do this I just look at it like whoa well I brush my teeth every day I do that I can just podcast every day it
Starting point is 00:20:43 doesn't have to be that deep and difficult and um your brain likes to make up stupid stuff and it's like fear and this is cliche i know but just think different steve jobs steve jobs think different anyways i'm only on the question two i gotta get to another another one but what was this podcast called andy come on now um see all real as fuck excuse me real af that's his podcast no i grew up he do the the mfceo project raised me like there are certain episodes of the mfceo project that i still like think about like i the concepts the ideas because andy forsella is such a no bs like straight
Starting point is 00:21:42 talking dude who especially with like goals and stuff I know he created the 75 hard program to help people become more disciplined around goal setting and obviously it's like a fitness thing but um yeah I don't know I learned a lot from him and let me just answer another question uh what's the most ridiculous ridiculous thing you have bought what is the most ridiculous thing I have bought a dog no my dog is one of the most expensive things he's like medium expensive for Jacqueline golden retrievers in California are a pretty penny to buy like they're not five hundred dollars they're not a thousand dollars they are
Starting point is 00:22:30 multiple thousands of dollars and when I grew up I felt like golden retrievers like our dogs were like oh just someone down the street has a kennel or excuse me like there's like a breeder up the street it's like 500 bucks I don't know um my parents took care of all that stuff what's the most ridiculous thing I bought toe rings like why do I put rings on my toes um looking in my drawer here I buy so much ridiculous stuff wait hold on I'm gonna walk around my apartment wait I mean what's ridiculous let's ask that question what's ridiculous I mean everything you could think of like I have these squeaker toys for my puppy they have squeakers inside
Starting point is 00:23:20 that's kind of ridiculous but it's like functional for puppies and dogs to for playtime what's something big that's ridiculous like a big purchase you know what I mean oh oh my god my rent I know dude ridiculous let's talk about what's ridiculous my rent legit I was thinking about this the other day and I'm like it's more than work it's more than a mortgage like I'm pretty sure my yeah it's like for where I live I feel like it's a great deal for where I live and everything but I the thing is you you can justify your way out of this any like I can justify myself I can justify the price in a thousand different ways but it's still it's still ridiculous
Starting point is 00:24:07 millennials aren't buying homes they're forcing us to rent and it's just a thing now it's just like whoa housing housing market's wild like yeah we're not like our grandparents buying a home when we're 20 it's like we're gonna rent and they're gonna keep increasing our rent no matter what and we can't do anything about it we have all this college debt well I actually don't I really don't compared to my peers but I don't know things are different now and I just feel like when people say stuff like oh my god California is so expensive like how do you live in California oh my god it's so expensive I'm like everything's a compromise like I'm not in a I don't drive a fancy car I don't I don't have a car payment I didn't get into a car like
Starting point is 00:24:54 I'm not and I'm also stubborn as hell about purchasing a new car like I don't want to just get a Hyundai like I don't want to go grab it I don't want to go I don't want to roll around in a CRV I'm looking across the street at a CRV like if I'm going to buy a new car I want it to be something I actually want to drive and something nice and so I'm willing to like drive a piece of trash until I'm able to afford that and so anyways um but yeah everything is a compromise so you're like okay well I pay a lot for rent so I can live here and that to me is worth it because it makes me happy to live here and I love my neighborhood and I love San Diego and I love the ocean I love being by the beach I love palm trees and sunshine blah blah so there are things
Starting point is 00:25:40 that you adjust in your within your budget to accommodate it like a higher rent and you do think like you I don't buy I'm not I'm not a spender I don't I don't it's not how much you make it's how much you save right and how much you invest and like I don't just buy like I don't get my nails done I don't get my lashes done I don't get all this stuff done to my appearance all the like the most I spend on myself is usually my hair my hair is expensive because I'm a brunette who went blonde and I have to keep it up but there are a lot of things I do and a lot of adjustments I've made um so that living in or so that it's a quote-unquote like affordable and I can thrive in California you know what I mean I don't like anyways um it's not like I'm a fucking
Starting point is 00:26:32 bajillionaire but I'm not dying I'm not I'm not homeless I'm not I'm not in that situation that's one thing I always say like I never I've always been this way with financial stuff I never I don't feel like I talk about financial stuff ever on this show or like my finances or I mean yeah I mentioned crypto and shit sometimes because I'm dude can we talk about Chantel Chantel Jeffries and her the crypto stuff and the investing stuff and the it's just like I got an opinion and you can already tell that it's negative and you would be right I just I feel like she knows what she's it's like on purpose it's like I'm just gonna be annoying about this and make people talk about me and piss people off that I'm this influencer who
Starting point is 00:27:24 talks about investing like I'm like I'm a fucking professional at it and she like called Dogecoin before Elon did and shit she's like so about anyways I got I don't I'm not a fan I think she blocked no her friend blocked me I don't I don't even know I think it was like last year but I said some shit on my insta story not like I think I tagged someone or they saw it on they like watched my story and then I got blocked that's her name it starts with a j or one of her friends anyways yeah I talked about crypto because I was like you know I like if I talk about money and stuff it's usually about like cryptocurrency and investing because I'm trying to be because you know I want to be relevant I want to be popular I want to be cool I don't want to sound
Starting point is 00:28:10 like I'm in the know and I know what's going on because I don't want to sound like a dumb stupid blonde so I've talked to you guys about some of the um companies I've invested in and how I'm really into, like, electric vehicle stocks, and, like, I was in BriaCell. BriaCell is a company that's solving breast cancer, and my mom had breast cancer, and so it's a really important cause to me, and the company is going places, so I invested in it. so anyways uh yeah I don't really talk about financial shit but like um it's like that now you know what and I was I was talking my mom's way from for like two hours when I was back home in Washington over Memorial Day weekend about the economy and the trends right
Starting point is 00:29:09 now and how everyone is like I think he he said something like be about being cautious like when people are forced to start investing or it's like they're out it's like their last resort because they have like when everyone's starting to become an investor he said something really it popped when he said i can't repeat it he's like that's probably a bad sign jacqueline so just when you look at history and shit and a lot of times with the obviously with the market everything like there's there there are patterns that's kind of how it all works and And I don't know, I've been kind of on the fence about where things are headed with this current economy
Starting point is 00:29:56 and like what, I don't know. What was I saying about financial stuff? Oh, I know that one thing. So I try to avoid, or I never, I how do I say this in a in a just a straightforward way like I've always kept myself out of the position of being quote-unquote like paycheck to paycheck or broke like do you know what I mean like I don't that's something I've like gotten down I'm never in that situation I've never like that's something I just don't
Starting point is 00:30:38 like when people are like I have to wait to get paid or I have to wait for my paycheck to be able ago and did it I'm like that's you need you need a lily pad like I always think of um safety nets like what's your pad sitting under you like there's um there's a lot of advice out there that's like you should have six months of expenses saved up like your runway what's your runway is that what it's called I don't know but um yeah there's obviously advisors out there that are better explaining this than me uh just like yeah I don't know once I feel like that just made that was common sense to me when I was younger it was like okay I'm in college I have my own apartment I want I have to pay rent every month I have
Starting point is 00:31:27 bills now I have energy bills I have uh you know wi-fi and cable and all this stuff so I was like okay well I don't want every month to go to zero so like how do I so I had jobs and I had savings before that and you know only recently have I really gotten into investing like I should have started a IRA back when I like a long ass time ago and I did have a job like I had some stuff set up at my old job and then that went away when I moved and everything but um I don't know I mean i think it makes sense in your 20s though to like really take and take it take things seriously for like so that when you're 50 you know like start now invest now it'll pay off later that whole thing i don't know i'm just a stupid law and i don't
Starting point is 00:32:18 understand it yeah but shauntel needs she's like dude just great at instagram great at djing i think she's a dj but it you know what it was for me it was the impulsive and here i am gossiping and talking bad about other people who are better than me like she's better than me i know that i'm not like denying it or she's like cooler and more popular so i get it but um something's working but like the episode of impulsive that she sat on i was like you're just saying a lot of nothing and i'm like she you know like she's saying a lot of obvious information about investing that's like but everyone looks at her as the investor girl now. It's like, well, I don't got to like, you know, when someone says something like myself, a lot of the times on the podcast,
Starting point is 00:33:12 maybe even today, they say so many words. And then you're like, that didn't teach me anything. Or I didn't nothing. We're back to square one. We're back to zero like I don't you might as well have not said anything that's kind of what it was it was like scrambled and just like I don't know but shout out to Chantel let's be honestly teach me how to be that good at Instagram and that popular because I used to want to be you or I used to like want to be at that level of um insta like popularness when I was like coming out of college and that's kind of embarrassing sort of or just kind of like for what like now I say that and I look back and I'm like Jacqueline dude for what why what would that have
Starting point is 00:34:08 done I don't value like status and fame or anything because everyone is famous now like anymore I don't look at that it has lost its luster so much to me that I think privacy I think being low-key I know I podcast every day and talk about my life but like I think there's something so much more interesting and like I don't know fun kind of about not chasing the fame and not being known at in such a superficial dumbfuck way like Instagram like I was like anyone over 10k is getting blocked if if I have over 10,000 followers I'm get everyone over 10k getting blocked and look I know I'm obviously she's a contrarian she doesn't want to be like other people she doesn't want to she says things that are opposite of what's popular and trendy
Starting point is 00:34:59 because she wants to be unique and different because she has this thing about her that needs to be different than other people because she doesn't like want to be a she like just like everyone else whatever I just I don't know I see things differently now and I just don't I don't value the same things as I used to and I think that's fine it's just I don't know kind of like people because I've gotten the like I've had um I used to when clubhouse was first popping I was in a room I got chosen no I was pulled up as a speaker to host a room about podcasting and like like I didn't have much to say because everyone there was trying to grow their podcast and make it big and podcasting and be like a world famous podcaster and I'm sitting there going like
Starting point is 00:35:47 I don't have any like I don't give a fuck I don't care why does every hobby or why does everything have to become a business or like why does every like painting for the sake of loving to paint and not painting because you need to because you not painting and then have in selling it you know what I mean that's what I'm talking about like podcasting for the love of podcasting and not for the you know I could any I think at any one time I could decide to um take it like go hard in the paint with this and try to promote it and maybe get picked up or whatever but in the meantime I'm just having fun it's the only year one it's only year one I don't I recognize that things that come fast and fly high or whatever
Starting point is 00:36:39 what's the phrase like quick success quick bags quick money doesn't stay around like long-term shit like mcdonald's stays around i want slow growth i want organic growth i want to practice until i like i want to do my 10 000 hours with podcasting and wherever it takes me is where it takes me but the idea of like putting having an ulterior whatever it's called motive or evil plan to be the number one podcast in the world is like not really my thing it's because I found this and I and I'm saying that and it's easy maybe for it's probably easier for me to say that than someone with a business who's like okay now we gotta get into podcasting
Starting point is 00:37:33 in TikTok. We got to, you know, pivot. We got to evolve with the times and be on every platform. And, you know, at that point for them, it's like another thing. It's like another project. It's another layer to their business. Where for me, it's easy for me to say that because this is my passion. This is why I'm on this planet. Like Jacqueline, get on a microphone, press record, create talk share tell stories like that's why I'm here so once you find that in life whatever that passion is it's it change it you're like you just it's you live for it is that what the word is you're what's the whole like live eat to live live to eat no live for pot survive wait
Starting point is 00:38:30 I don't need podcasting to survive no so I don't know what I'm trying to say let me do another question have I been answered like four I don't even think I've done four um what's the most ridiculous thing you've bought what did I answer oh my rent okay good one Jacqueline nice job oh if you could choose one celebrity okay if you could choose one celebrity to instantly become this is worded incorrectly if you could choose one celebrity to instantly disappear from the spotlight which celebrity would you choose and why oh shit i could have had a snappy response there i could have you know what i mean like i could instantly been like John Stamos that's a stupid example I could have instantly been like Kim
Starting point is 00:39:34 Kardashian or whatever like you know what I mean that would have that would have hit if I had a good answer right there right after I said the question I had an opportunity but I wasn't I hadn't premeditated the question or thought about it so I got to sit here and stew you know what I mean though I could have been like which celebrity would you choose and why Ryan Seacrest like something that would pop everyone be on the same page about like who's annoying oh fuck had the opportunity I missed it Demi Lovato what's going on I just I feel you know what I'm like okay I got empathy for people right I'm like I fucking, there's something, uh, love this about Tom and Christina from your mom's house. Love
Starting point is 00:40:20 this about them. It's a podcast. It's my comfy podcast. It's my comfort podcast when I'm just want to, when I'm having an, at the end of the day, at the end of the day, I, when I just want to put my feet up, chill with my dog, watch something on TV and zone out, I'm watching your mom's house on YouTube. Nothing makes me feel more at ease and at peace and comfortable than listening to Tom and Christina talk and like the and watching their crazy videos they find on TikTok like I don't want to follow a story on a Netflix show I don't want to watch a documentary I don't want to watch a YouTube vlog like I just want to chill and listen to two middle-aged no they're young I mean they're 40s right people talk a couple it's funny as shit
Starting point is 00:41:10 they're both funny um something they say a lot because they they play a lot of videos of degenerate human beings on this planet from tiktok they play a lot of videos of people who are fucking retarded as they literally just i did i think two words are coming back i'm bringing them i'm starting to hear there's a surge in the word in the word retard retarded and gay there's a search and so there's a couple things they say um oh they said I'm gonna put a pin on my sometimes when I put make a hand motion with my hand or something I'll remember to say it let me just write it oh yeah that shut the fuck up um hold on the they have two things they say I'm gonna remember both. Movement. Okay. I said Demi Lovato, right? For the celebrity that I,
Starting point is 00:42:09 what did it say? If I could choose one celebrity to instantly disappear. Okay. I said her because she's being annoying as fuck, right? Just, just like, I'm sick of looking at her. I'm sick of hearing from her. I'm sick of hearing about her problems and her, it's just like, it's, it's, it's, it's just not it, and I'm over it, and I just could do without, so something they say, though, a lot on their show, Tom and Christina, is that they go, like, when they play a video of someone who's wilding out on their TikTok being strange, they're, like, this person was a little girl, and she used to be normal, like, what happened, they always say like what happened to them something happened something happened to them
Starting point is 00:42:55 they weren't always weird like this they weren't always crazy and cracked out or whatever and deranged you know they there's a reason they got this way and then so they say those statements and so for me it's like with demi it's like some child childhood fame or whatever like something happened along the way she's told her story a hundred times over on that well especially i listened to the entire rogan episode with her and she kind of won me over in a lot of ways and then now i'm just like dude you gotta monitor what you're posting publicly now like you had it like she won me over on that rogan episode and i was like jesus next the next week it was like the fro yo thing and now she's a they them and now she's on the beach with these people looking like
Starting point is 00:43:39 they're in a uh tim burton movie like all black everything in black lipstick like what's happening So anyways, but yeah, I'm saying that, you know, she used to not be like that and something happened and her mind has changed and, you know, it's not normal. It's not normal. We don't need to normalize everything, right? We don't need to just be like, everything's mental. Dude, people, like when someone is like, okay, so I have three bracelets. the pink one is for when I'm a he or no excuse me the pink one is for when I
Starting point is 00:44:21 am a she her the blue one is for when I'm a he him and the yellow one is for for when I'm a they them and they say that and they're like okay so there's I always have all three on because on my wrist because at any time i can change but whatever one i put on my right wrist is the one i am feeling that day so if it's the pink one you can refer to me as she her so blue one yellow one they them that people are so first of all people are trying to make that like oh we need to accept these people and normalize this you know thing or whatever like that is a mental health issue see a doctor that is not normal to ebb and flow during any hour of the day and like in two minutes i'm a boy and three minutes from that i'm an emma they that like what so yeah
Starting point is 00:45:27 i'm saying that because i think demi just came out and said she's um she changed her pronouns like we give a fuck but like also that's not like please like i feel i'm like that's kind of sad i hate dude there are some pockets of my generation gen z and shit that's like i'm in fear for the future like they're so sold and so convinced on bullshit that it's like you know like legit like it's like putting spaghetti in a blender and mashing it up into a brain shaped thing and putting it into people's like it's that people are there's a new brain it needs to be studied there's a new way of rationalizing things that's like not rooted in logic or anything it's like
Starting point is 00:46:22 people can justify and rationalize the shit out of anything now like those bracelets and then they them like the ebbing and flowing of genders or pronouns or whatever and they say it in a way that they're so they're so convinced they're so sold and so confident behind their words it's like to me it's crazy it's not like there's something wrong but to them it's like no this is just what it is now and this is why second thing oh this kind of goes with that the second thing I love that Tom and Christina say or they just said I think on one of their recent episodes was um it's like when Chris D'Elia dude it sounds like I listen to a lot of podcasts right I know it's whenever it's whenever he does um the voice of well actually well I can't do it
Starting point is 00:47:13 well actually actually well the reason why those people it's okay for the people to wear the bracelets and to be multiple pronouns is because um sometimes people have something happen in their life and they did something suspicious and they all of a sudden think they are a boy instead of a girl so that's just justified because he does that voice it's like a like a know-it-all like i don't even know what the the personality is it's that voice though it's like well actually well actually actually um so that was something that's something chris does when he mocks that type of person but they he actually did that on a recent episode of his podcast okay and then Tom and Christina say it Tom said it he goes she was saying some shit or they were watching a video
Starting point is 00:48:02 and he just goes shut the fuck up shut the fuck up shut the fuck up like just the way he said it was it punched a lot harder than what I just did but they both were like there is a shut the fuck up revolution starting it's happening where anytime you hear some of your rational stupid bullshit about a movement of a social justice movement or new woke idea or whatever and fucking uh people are gonna more people are starting to say shut the fuck up shut the fuck oh it's stupid like shut it down I don't think it's going to be in five years I hope I just feel like we're not going to accept these ideas so much as a unit like it's going to look be these woke out there ideas are going to be like laughed at I hope that's my I'm like please dear god
Starting point is 00:49:02 pendulum is going to swing back we got we got to like um I think the pushback is starting the pushback is starting currently let me answer another question I gotta be honest I don't know I just had to like continue the sentence because my microphone cut so I hope that flowed I don't know what part of the sentence I had to start it but I like listened and I was like I'll just say the next word so little behind the scenes podcast host um uh information for you that usually never happens but sometimes if my mic cuts I have to like I don't edit the show I do this in one take but that's the only time when I have to like chop it and fix it okay um I'm gonna do one more question I feel good I feel like this episode's been um kind of long conversational even though
Starting point is 00:49:50 it's a Q&A I've said a lot so I think I'm gonna do one more question talk it out and do another podcast tomorrow do it again the next day do it again the next day after that and then on September 4th 2021 I'm gonna do the final episode of one year of podcasting and take a big old shit no I'm kidding like how would I end like what would be the grand old finale of like should I just get should I just drink or something should I get really intoxicated on some should I do meth for the first time like what should I I heard someone told me and I feel like this is common knowledge especially because I went through D.A.R.E. as a child in like fifth grade through like eighth grade about uh don't do drugs but i relearned that meth is the only drug apparently
Starting point is 00:50:39 that once you take do it one time you're forever addicted like your body like you can't not be addicted to it like if you're you have to i don't know probably some stupid shit i literally saw like a sixth grader excuse me not the sixth grader i saw like a couple 16 year olds on tiktok that had a podcast these two dudes it was like a clip of them saying that and then I just like believed it I'm like oh I forgot about that being addicted to meth is like it's an instant thing I guess I don't know oh fuck I got an answer for this one what is the most embarrassing thing you have ever worn I have so many actually have multiple answers oh my god I know all my first day of school outfits in high school so well
Starting point is 00:51:31 so I could talk about that but I feel like anything I've worn on a stage uh while I was stripping no I'm kidding oh yeah guys by the way I'm a former stripper I had a guy one time that was so annoying about the fact he thought I was a porn star like he was teasing me about it like like he the way he was so suspect and so like were you porn like shut up you were right like how what yeah like that was a very odd like I just so like gross and I was just like I don't know how to explain it like like he was like teasing me and like he knew it got under my skin so then he kept put like kept saying it kept like that was his way of flirting with me in the office like that's actually is that harassment should I should I
Starting point is 00:52:27 have metooed him or whatever he was like my age okay Jesus um no what was I saying oh when I'm on stage I would have had this crazy past that was like I don't know I had someone ask me one time who should not have asked me this question, they asked me about an OnlyFans and it was so out of line. And I was like, and then I also was the follow-up question that was, and my answer was no. And the follow-up question that was, do you post pictures on Instagram for validation? Why do you do that? So inappropriate, but anyways, um, you're not getting anything else out of that other than that wasn't okay I wasn't comfortable with that and that was wrong the wrong environment and place and time and everything to ask that question so anyways um because
Starting point is 00:53:26 I got there are in professional settings I feel like there are things you just don't fucking talk about and bring up and ask and anyways um anything you've ever worn I'm trying to tell you that it was a candy corn felt suit I wore on stage in eighth grade because I was a candy cane dancer candy corn dancer in a play what play was it oh Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at my local theater and I did acrobatics with some other candy corn dancer people like we did I think I had to do a back walk over every show and that was probably one of my favorite roles during my theater days because literally all we did for practice for play practice was hang out at the gymnastics place and jump around on the trampolines and practice like backflips and shit and that was so fun like we
Starting point is 00:54:26 didn't really have to show up to the actual play practice um so yeah that was probably one of the and then like my class came to the play in eighth grade and saw me in it it's like a giant triangle that looked like a candy corn my arms and legs stuck stuck out but like let's talk about high school I wore a lot of boot cut um what brand boot cut it's on the tip of my tongue not Levi's um buckle no I can't say think of the name I wore a lot of medium wash boot cut jeans with flats
Starting point is 00:55:08 and on top so like my top situation was usually like a camisole with lace at the bottom and then a short dude this is so old school like now if people don't dress like this is so weird to think about this is like coming back as a trend and then a short sweater that I would like unbutton and then dangly earrings and like a big chunky necklace and then a backpack I usually I didn't do the I always had a backpack I wasn't a handbag or like a tote type high school student um yeah a lot of yeah a lot of bootcut jeans and flats or like converse which I feel like
Starting point is 00:55:56 converse are classic they never go out but just like the bootcut jeans here's the thing we weren't doing the high-waisted thing back in uh 2010 like it wasn't a thing like it is now I feel like nor were skinny jeans like they were like I don't know how to explain it but I just felt like my pants were just always awkward. What was the brand? It's pissing me off. Jeans brands. Let me look it up. Hudson? No, they weren't that. Jeans brands. You guys are, it's on the tip of my tongue. Like I need to say it. Classic Levi's Wrangler.
Starting point is 00:56:45 a sauce no men's diesel men's jeans I feel like these are common man jeans no it's at a beer and H oh there's Levi's Lee Wrangler Calvin Klein there's like a a ranking here. Hold on. It's going to annoy me if I don't say true religion. No, it's not even on here. They're so classic. They're right up there with Levi's and it's not listed here. Who cares? Um, it's like a, it's like a H or a Wrangler, Calvin Klein, Diesel, Ralph Lauren, Paige, Rag and Bone, Acne, Nudie, Jeans, Frame, I don't know. Let me get off of it, but the jeans, what was I saying, they were always, like, mid, they were never, like, high-waisted, bootcut, buckle, buckly, hen, ha, buckle jeans, buh, H, jeans brand, I gotta look
Starting point is 00:58:08 up H, I feel like it's an H, I'm so annoying right now, but I need to know, i can't i guys haynes henley h&m habitual i had this ripped pair of hollister jeans that the hottest girl in school also had and i got them because she had them and then i realized that that was stupid because she looked good in them and i look like shit in them because my legs were not made for like they were flared ripped jeans from and she was always super tan and I just wasn't on that tan thing up in the northwest like she was on that she was on the spray tan or the booth tan wave um she was always I think yeah she was older and hotter and she was dating a guy that
Starting point is 00:58:57 um oh my god she was dating so my first I had like a chain of crushes in high school so my high school stories like I was I always had crushes on boys with girlfriends all the hottest guys in the school had girlfriends I was never their girlfriend but I always wanted to be and I never dated anyone in high school because I all the guys that were single and available were not cute I didn't want like I always wanted the guys I couldn't have right what's new um actually is that new now not really I think it's the tables have turned for me like I have I kind of I feel like as I've gotten older like your options you get you have more options or like you're more whatever I don't know I was in high school with a limited amount of people like that anyways um the first
Starting point is 00:59:45 crush I had dated the older girl with the ripped jeans right yeah wait what am I saying but he's the guy I think I've told the story before we're like after high school the guys all the guys I liked came out and said after high school like in the freshman year of college that they liked me back but they always had a girlfriend and then like because we would go I was like so that's when like tinder started popping off and they were still around or like when we come home for Christmas from college we'd be on our tinders and stuff or whatever and then I'd see them we'd match and we'd like ping pong and talk back and forth for whatever reason and it's kind of like fun like oh haha we matched and we went to high school together you know and then like multiple
Starting point is 01:00:26 guys would come out and say I can count I probably had like a crush on 10 boys consistently in high school at least 10 there's like my high school the hot like we had so many hot guys in my high school but i'd say like five guys in my class who are like older or whatever came out and tried to get it after high school with me one of them took me on a date to chipotle and um i've told the story about this man I think he logs now I think he's a logger but uh he was the bully in middle school that I've also told the story about I'm teasing a lot of stories I know if you're like a new listener this is annoying but I got bullied in middle school pretty bad and the one bully there are two guys in um eighth grade that took it too far and the one that asked me out to Chipotle
Starting point is 01:01:23 my freshman year of college we both went on with our lives or whatever and then he was in town and Chipotle just opened so we wanted to try or he wanted to try it out and we were kind of like at the end of the day he liked me but he bullied bullied me so bad in middle school he like called me I'm not even Jewish he like called me a Jew for some reason and he called me he always like made fun of my peach fuzz on my face um just there were so many name calling situations that happened and like like make he made fun of everything like he had me thinking I smelled bad I looked weird I was like yeah ugly fat nobody wanted to be my friend like he just like anything I said he would mock right but now that was that was eighth grade and then freshman year
Starting point is 01:02:14 college it's like hey I think you're hot and then on his 21st birthday this is the funny thing like was he did he go to my high school we kind of had mutual friends in high school and I was always friends with the swaggy like stoner boys who are funny and just like just like they're all like the shorter dudes they weren't like the jocks they're always like the skinny stoner dudes who were funny as fuck and did together and shit and they would like invite me over and i think that's when i started like going to parties is when they would i don't know or like we'd go to i went to dances like i'd take them to tolo as like friends you know whatever but this guy that bullied me middle school that asked me to chipotle after high
Starting point is 01:03:07 school or whatever was kind of like friends with them like we always were around each other and he kind of we dude there's something about there there's a specific aura that guys have that I used to be super attracted to like this is weird to admit he bullied me but I was kind of attracted to his aura not him physically but just like the vibe that's like playfully mean but like they have the best come so they're so the auras like they're um they're kind of okay like um trying to think of aesthetics like like seattle boy like mac miller former rest in peace mac miller like that vibe like white boy rapper vibe that's like rich a little bit kind of like they're not like they're usually these boys are like they have a lake house they have a nice
Starting point is 01:04:12 super nice car for their age and their parents have a shit ton of money like but they have like this fuck boy-y like when I say that I mean like they're there's like a swag about them and it's because of their comebacks and their their smooth talk and their arrogance and they're like they they just like know how to party and have fun and they're super like good at flirting and like teasing you and a it's like hot like I don't know how to explain it for the longest time I've been attracted to that and obviously like not good for me it's never been good for me it's never worked out but um this guy had it but he wasn't cute I wasn't attracted to him but like I felt like we got along because I knew how to dish it back like I was good at I like all of those stoner
Starting point is 01:04:53 dudes were like that too um versus like the hot guys i like they were a lot there was a lot less personality happening and a lot more like muscles and stature and like just like physical attraction i'm really breaking this down but yeah anyways uh he's the guy that bullied me okay took me to Chipotle in like freshman year of college in our hometown and then in during his I used to like party up at um Western Washington University like it's because there's like so many backstories I need to tell to explain where I was and when and why but um he him he I'm retelling a story by the way if you're a regular listener he's also the guy that on his 21st birthday I was the one who took his birthday shot with him at his party at midnight no one else was around he saved this
Starting point is 01:05:51 rum he got in fucking like jamaica he saved it for for like 10 years for his 21st birthday there were there were only two shots left in the bottle and he had saved it for so long and at midnight and this is the guy that bullied me at midnight we took that we took that shot and he was wearing a Davy Crockett hat and we were in a shitty college boy house kitchen with like a ton of hot sauce on display and bottles that had been drank and we took that shot on his 20th birthday like things come full circle in a weird way and I haven't talked to him since so anyways what was the question even oh I was talking about high school in my outfits what was the most oh i was trying to find the jeans
Starting point is 01:06:38 still can't think of the name someone dm me list of gene names henley it's like not henley but it's like henley levi's buckle calvin klein or start with an r right rady rudy ruby rabbi rabbit fuck my like grandpa like these are like man these are like classic man jeans they made them for women too anyways what was the last question what is the most embarrassing thing you've worn um candy corn felt play costume when i was a candy corn dancer in the charlie and the chocolate factory in eighth grade okay that was it and then also like all of my high school outfits another thing i wore a lot were basketball shorts and
Starting point is 01:07:42 like big t-shirts like that was so like i was a basketball player but i just remember going to school in basketball shorts all the time or my shoes I would wear like yeah I would just wear my like basketball practice shoes I think I don't even know it was so ugly these like purple Jordan basketball shorts that were men I got them at um like footlocker in the mall and yeah i like thought it was super cool because there were things there were levels with basketball shorts like you had your adidas your nike but if you had those jordan shorts the little jordan logo you were the shit and i would go to basketball pe class and that was also where all of my crushes dude i would rearrange my schedule
Starting point is 01:08:36 to be in the same classes with these crushes that had girlfriends i wasn't trying to steal them like that but I just wanted to look at them like I had the hottest guys in my class in high school that's all I remember from high school is just like having crushes on boys and trying to be close to them whether that was in the stadium at a football game like close to the boys I liked or in a part at a party just like in the same room or playing pong or fucking uh in conversation with or in basketball uh pe class like on their team like oh please like can we be put together on the same team so i can just look at you that's literally all high school was for me i am not gay i know i'm not i am so straight when i think about i just i had i've had crushes on boys my
Starting point is 01:09:22 entire life like my babysitter's brother i remember like he was so hot he was like 10 years older than me i still remember him i think his name was justin it's normal it's fucking normal we're here to eat sleep what are like dude life is so weird we just like everything when it all comes down to it like all of the routines and all of the rituals we do like i guess now as adults like we're out of school we're not in a classroom or whatever but just like everything's like about finding a mate and like reproduction and like spreading the seed the seed and creating offspring continuing on but like we can't help it and it's like
Starting point is 01:10:16 why like obviously we got to keep the ball rolling here but imagine life where you're like they're, like, like, being attracted to, like, as a girl, like, I'm thinking, if I was never attracted to anything, is that asexual, or, like, you have no motivation, or you are not motivated to, like, be, like, uh, wanted or desired by the opposite sex, or whatever, like, you just is that when people like let themselves go and throw in the towel and stop wearing make makeup and stop like i'm thinking like people that get married like when don't do that oh my god i had a great example growing up i feel like my mom is like always like on point she's always in like she's always dressed and nice looking good taking care of her
Starting point is 01:11:14 health she was fit healthy hot she's never let herself go but like I I so I had a good example growing up and I still do but I feel like when people get married and just give up on their appearance like maybe here's what I think could be fun for five minutes and then obviously not fun but like if you and your partner have always lived a super healthy healthy fit lifestyle and you're super you know like that and then like maybe for a year you're like we're just gonna relax a little bit we're just gonna like kick our feet up i guess this was 2020 for a lot of couples they just kind of like sat around in their sweatpants and whatever just like ate a bunch of postmates but i don't know i feel like you and your partner had a conversation about like
Starting point is 01:12:02 hey like i've been keeping it tight for so long i just kind of want to let loose for like six months you want to do it with me and like it's a no judgment zone like we can go let's like fly to New York City and go on a food tour and let's like eat and drink whatever we want and not fucking care like if I don't know because I think what happens is in a like when people get married or whatever what I've witnessed is like like someone might do that and it's just like they're not being up front about like they're not like or it's not conscious they're just like stressed out and they stop trying or they have less their libido shot i don't know they gain weight and they have too many they have so many
Starting point is 01:12:49 kids to take care of and they have a job and they're just like stressed out and they just don't i don't know if you i think it's better to do it on purpose than to just like have it like everything's a choice i feel like everything you do is on purpose i do believe that you are in control of your own life and your own like yeah just my whole point of saying this is yo don't let yourself go ever in a relationship what the fuck why like unless you're on the same page or something like like i just made a stupid example about being fat for fucking like six months together for fun like hey let's do an experiment or let's just like not give a shit so hard for i don't know
Starting point is 01:13:32 thing is is people that's like an all-or-nothing mentality that's so younger me where I'd be like fuck it you know and then I'd be like I'm on a diet and then you know oh I have a vacation coming up so now I'm you know tightening things up or we're now I'm like no you got to be able to I think everyone's got their own version of balance or whatever now but you gotta keep it tight you really do and you feel better you gotta keep it tight and when I say keep it tight you gotta eat listen to my episode yesterday listen to what I ate for breakfast yesterday that is an example of keeping it tight okay and it's embarrassing kind of the combination of ingredients I put together for breakfast but I feel good I don't feel slow and
Starting point is 01:14:21 I don't feel like shit and after Memorial Day weekend a bitch needed that breakfast I did not and eat oh my god dude I had multiple pieces like so much cake at the at the baby shower and tiramisu at an Italian restaurant and then we had enough I think I went to five restaurants in two days and we ate I love my family all we do when we have holidays and stuff is get together go out to fancy restaurants and eat and it's great I love food who doesn't and I like traveling and eating too like that's the funnest thing ever trying someone trying like a different country's version of something that you've had your whole life like when I went to Italy I was like oh what the fuck oh shit okay oh mom your spaghetti sucks no I'm kidding she has great spaghetti but like you know
Starting point is 01:15:18 you eat pasta your whole life then go to Italy you're like why how what have I been doing my life dude I gotta make um I want to make like a lasagna I don't know I need to I need to make something good maybe I'll make a zucchini lasagna for summer keep it light keep it tight I always go back to the I don't know why I'm on this I've kind of been talking about like diet and fitness shit sort of recently in some of the episodes but
Starting point is 01:15:55 I always go back to this this is the thing I've learned the hardest over time and I think you know every person I know or woman especially is like weird with food sometimes or they're like they've struggled with like you know maintaining their weight or losing weight
Starting point is 01:16:13 or you know being on a diet or whatever like we've been inundated for so long that at this point it's like I'm confused when someone doesn't have some underlying shit with their diet and food but something I just keep going back to that over time has been super ingrained in me is like how do you feel like eat what makes you feel good dude make yourself you're gonna it's all about like waking up and feeling good and having a great amount like having good energy and being positive and dude food it's food is a hundred percent responsible for that so I don't know I feel like over time I just yeah I'm like what makes me feel the best and I used to be vegan okay I tried that doesn't make
Starting point is 01:16:56 me feel good over time it didn't at first it did I was in this euphoric state of like bliss I was just eating raw fruits and like platters of bananas and shit I don't even know and then i felt great and then it over time i just i yeah i it just i didn't it didn't work for me but yeah i always feel best and i'm like meat and veg meat and veg meat and veg meat and veg meat and veg protein veg simple carbs good carbs sweet potatoes rice i like red potatoes too those are good bro meals bro meals lettuce kale actually i don't like kale unless it's cooked uh we've talked about that before i actually have a whole entire story about kale on one of the podcasts um black coffee tons of water vitamins sunshine exercise nothing feels better than what is my
Starting point is 01:17:54 quote nothing feels as good as feeling good feels nothing feels as good as feeling good feels but um i think when you're younger and experimental and shit and you're in college and every other fucking day is a pizza delivery with your friends it's like I don't know you get out of whack and then once you're mature or once you mature and go on your own you're like I just want to wake up and I just want to feel good because I and now to me the next level is like I don't like feeling hungover at all I won't drink purely because I don't want to feel foggy at all the next day like wait I value waking up feeling refreshed and happy and good more than like anything now because then I know I'm gonna have a great day I'm gonna be functional productive
Starting point is 01:18:45 upbeat positive smiley just like good to be around that's so important to me now and so I just don't like to fuck with um trash food as much as dude 2020 though can't like i got some i fucking went in with postmates um i was actually gonna tally up how much i spent mom earmuffs mom tune out right now like i spent so much money on food last year getting it delivered and i just gave up on my body and i didn't go to the gym or anything and i gained 20 pounds but like you know what it was kind of fun for like two minutes and then I felt and then I got depressed you know what I mean but um anyways Jesus Christ I got so many dude I could talk forever what was this a Q&A I don't even know this is did this feel like a Q&A or did this feel like a story time podcast
Starting point is 01:19:40 anyways hope you had a great day hope your Saturday's going well um it's summer it's June i saw this tiktok speaking of it's june i gotta say this real quick i don't know who said it they were like what happened it's june and literally all i've seen this year so far is boxing stuff on the internet like just boxing promotion and boxing news and boxing stuff and i thought that was so i mean obviously because of the logan floyd fight tomorrow but like the um also like the jake paul one but ask her like that already happened like there's just been this there's been a weird wave of boxing content like we're not hearing about australia on fire like we
Starting point is 01:20:35 did in 2020 we're not hearing about i guess well israel palestine yeah that was kind of heavy like we've had some shit wait for the forest fires that'll be next but like it's just it's been a blur of boxing content and it's our and it's june like what's happened this year boxing that kind of that hit that hit me when he said it whoever the tiktok dude person was dude person all right hit that subscribe button i'm here seven days a week this has been q a number 34 i do a q a every saturday and i'm currently on my year journey one year journey of podcasting so if you want to follow along and hang out with me it's mostly an audio diary i get on here and talk about whatever and talk about my life and uh yeah i don't know if you just need a person to hang out
Starting point is 01:21:31 with I'll talk to you yeah it's on that series but like it could be if do you need help I'll be here I'll help you do you need a friend I'll be your friend I'm not doing all the optimization shit right the like what's it called um like give the people they want or like know your audience know your audience Jacqueline know your audience what's your niche niche down niche down Jacqueline like i don't i haven't thought of any of that i'm just like hey every time i turn on the microphone i think of it think of a couple scenarios you're either my best friend for years bffs like girlfriends for since we were in diapers you're either that and i'm talking to you right now or you're my fucking long-term boyfriend from for like years because i'm super emotionally
Starting point is 01:22:26 available and I'm super uh open and vulnerable about everything I say which is so trendy right now everyone is about dude everyone is all about sharing their story and being vulnerable on the internet now it's so trendy I'm one of them but uh I do it I do it in my own way and I'm not looking for sympathy or anything like that I feel like the people that are doing that there's a there's a huge surge in people being vulnerable and sharing their story in a like sappy look at my sad story I need sympathy way that's not what I do here I'm just hanging out and we're on a phone call and it's yeah like a long-term relationship at this point god I used to be so cocky and like the first month I would always say what other woman talks to you
Starting point is 01:23:15 for this long seven days a week I'm basically your girlfriend but you're also in the friend zone because I've said a lot that's I don't know uh all right I'll talk to you tomorrow you know what thanks for being here I hope you have a great weekend and I will talk to you tomorrow okay bye
