What's up, guys? Happy Sunday. It's episode 293. Welcome back to the show.
i'm feeling invigorated i'm feeling so excited for this episode i came prepared
um first of all we got a lot to cover uh about my life over the last week
including a car crash so there's a little teaser for you my life updates include a car crash this
week um i've got current event news to talk about i actually came to i came to sorry um i'm honestly
coming down from a plate of apple crisp i baked for no fucking reason and i'm digesting that as
I'm drinking a key lime LaCroix that I, I'm kind of mad at myself. I like to, I like to open the
can and give you guys a crunchy sound effect while I podcast, but I prematurely opened it.
So I'll sip it instead. What was I saying? Oh yeah. I put together an itinerary for today
and it includes current events it includes things that make me happy things that piss me off
that I want to go into but a lot of life updates I got some wild stories to tell you about my last
week um why do I feel honestly I feel like I I totally just went brain dead um was I gonna
just was I gonna describe my surroundings and set the scene did I talk about that yet you know what
I'll be honest. Jacqueline. Okay. I'm a little rusty. Hold on. Instead of deleting this intro
and starting over, I'm going to ride this. I'm going to figure this out as I, as I stumble,
I'm going to stumble through this and figure it out. I, so I used to podcast seven days a week
up until June for about 300 episodes. And I was in the flow. Like I got on the microphone every
day. I knew what I was doing. It felt like breathing. Podcasting was like brushing my
teeth every day. It was so simple, but I feel a little rest. I feel rusty and I don't know. Um,
I'm wearing, so my outfit today is I've been, I've been tanning. I'm hot. I'm super hot for
my sunburn all the time. So I'm just wearing a big t-shirt. It's my lucky t-shirt from,
from the men's section in Walmart. I'm trying to be like a, God damn it. You know what?
anything I say is going to come across like I'm just like a chill girl who just like is so like
nonchalant and like whatever but I'm just gonna tell I mean I have to be honest with you but I
know how this might come across to some people but I'm not trying to be like that girl like I
think what would match this outfit would be a Bud Light but I don't have that right now
it's a bald eagle t-shirt a majestic bald eagle t-shirt from the men's section
Walmart. I believe it's a double XL. Yeah. I'm just wearing a big t-shirt, messy bun,
no pants, no shoes, no vaccine. We're going to talk about that. We're going to talk about
the vaccine today. I do have hand sanitizer over to my right here. Let me describe the setting.
I'm in my kitchen here in San Diego in my apartment. I have this vintage dish from my
grandma that's got hand sanitizer uh thread because I'm gonna sew the crotch to a pair of
my lululemon leggings that busted out I had to buy an individual what is this a spoolie
of thread on Amazon and then I have a needle next to it to remind me to sew the crotch
at some point it's on it's been sitting here for like five days and I still haven't done that
little project yeah I don't know what happened I put on my leggings before yoga the other day and
the entire like crotch piece fell out it didn't even like rip it just like came I don't know it
like fell out in one piece because there's a little anyways if you guys know what leggings
look like like girls they don't have like a seam down the middle there's like a little
flat like triangle piece that whole thing just evaporated out of the crotch I don't know I've
got thread here I've got hand sanitizer I've got my original airpods I've never lost in my life
I've had them for about four years or three years now. I've got whiteout and I have a jewel. Okay.
So should I, and a rock, I don't even know. There's like a rock in here guys.
Okay. So I said, jewel, should I tell us, should I talk, should I explain myself or
should I just say that and move on? I don't know. Mom, my mom's not going to like this, but
I quit vaping, like, two years ago when I couldn't breathe for two days, and I sat on my couch hunched over trying to catch my breath for, like, the entire time.
And this was at the time when stories were coming out on the news of kids in the hospital having lung failure from drooling.
And so around that time, my lungs also started to fail.
Okay, I don't know if they were starting to fail, but I was having a reaction to vaping, like, pretty bad where I was short of breath.
so I completely stopped however it's sitting in front of me again and you're like Jacqueline what
the fuck why that's disgusting that's not cute that's not a good look it's terrible for your
health vaping is horrible and nicotine is addictive don't do it blah blah in all honesty
in the two years or since I've quit 100% with vaping oh god damn it this apple crisp was so
good but like it's in this okay I'm sorry I'm like having bodily I this always happens I podcast
and I burp and I have bodily I call attention to my bodily functions and I know that's disgusting
I don't know what to do though because when I'm when I catch my breath like that I feel like I
have to describe what's happening because it's going to sound weird to you but like I'm digesting
apple crisp I got inspired I was excited about fall and I was like I have apples I have oatmeal
My mom got me butter at the grocery store when she visited me.
I have sugar.
I have cinnamon.
I have vanilla.
I have all this good stuff.
I'm going to make apple crisp.
So back to the jeweling thing.
I really want to tell the car crash story.
I really want to tell my story about going to the DMV.
I have all these updates.
Since I quit daily vaping, like once a year,
I'll get an itch to jewel. And I feel like this is the second time this happened in 2020. And this
just recently happened. Um, I was getting all ready to go out for drinks and I kind of got
ready early and I was like, I, and I had a little, well, okay. I just was like, I'm going to have a
little, I'm going to like have a little nicotine while I drink tonight. I want a little vape
moment while I drink. Okay. Like in the bathroom at the bar or wherever we were going out. Okay.
I just, I just like, I was craving it. Okay. And so my policy, and this happened last year is I
literally just buy like one, um, thing at the, uh, I get it at seven 11, one pack. And I have
the mental discipline and whatever to just say, okay, this is a one and done event. I'm enjoying
myself for, I'm enjoying this vaping thing for like, I don't know, three or four days, however
long it takes me a blast through this and it's done. So I'm current, I currently have it. It's
almost done I don't even know why I'm telling this story I feel like because it was sitting
here I'm talking about it because I'm describing my setting um my ass is sweating
sorry another thing I don't need to call attention to but or my legs are my I'm so
sunburned guys I'm like having a literal hot girl summer I finally said fuck it I'm sick and tired
of um I'm so I'm sick and tired of fake tanning and it's been so hot here in San Diego and I'm
like I just everyone looks good with a tan I want to be that person who's naturally tanned bronzed
so I've been laying out like three or four times a week and it feels great but I'm I'm currently
um kind of a lobster on the back of my legs and I'm sitting on a leather chair with no pants and
you guys the sun is beating through the window all my windows are shut because I have anxiety
about people listening to me podcast and it's better for the audio quality so all the windows
are shut and I, my air conditioner is kind of loud. It's about six feet in front of me.
So we're just gonna have to deal with it. Um, I do have, you know, let me go to my Google dog.
Did I finish setting the scene? Uh, Jimmy's asleep. My golden retriever puppy's asleep.
Last week I told you guys he's, uh, the, the puppy update is he's getting castrated
next. Well, I had to read, I had to reschedule his appointment because the vet wasn't available
or something so he's getting castrated next week and um he's doing good um yeah he's well I'm just
talking about I'm setting the scene I don't need to do a whole Jimmy update but he's laying down
with his tennis ball in his arms like he's cuddling his tennis ball that he found on his
walk with me under a car he like army crawled under a car to get a tennis ball the other day
and I let him do it so I took a risk though I let go of the leash for him to fucking it was like a
Toyota like a little Toyota truck and he saw a tennis ball under it and I could like the
he was tugging on the leash now he's grabbing my okay Jimmy Jesus Christ he's pulling this
okay sorry um he went under the under the car and in order for him to get the ball I had to
let go of the leash and then I don't know I'm so paranoid about him being off the leash in the city
here, because the day I got Jimmy, if anyone remembers back in January, end of January,
February, beginning of February, the day I got him, about an hour before I picked him up,
I witnessed a dog get hit by a car in my, literally in front of my apartment, so I don't
know, it was worth it, the tennis balls in his arms as he's, well, he just woke up, because I
said his name um it was worth it he got his tennis ball and whatever um I think that's good about
I think I've set the scene let me go to my google doc I did come prepared
I did come prepared where's my tab um
here we go August 9th 2021 episode 293 came prepared with some notes uh first so I wrote
intro dash life updates. I did a few, but I have to tell you the car crash story. We're going to
talk about me going to the DMV. Oh, fuck. Did I throw that away? No, I didn't. Good. It's right
next to me. Am I talking too fast? I don't know. I'm kind of excited. I only podcast once a week
now, so I get kind of excited. Oh, I have a story about my neighbor. Fuck. She's probably going to
listen to this if she finds out who I am someday. We'll tell the story anyways. I have two things
to read you guys okay DMV story uh going to Costco and listening to a podcast that combination I'm
gonna tell a story about that um we're gonna talk about something a recipe I made something I did
like a leisurely thing a leisure activity I did um and yeah but let's talk about getting into a
car crash because yesterday was the first time in my life that I'm being dramatic when I say car
crash it was it was a side swipe wasn't really like a crash where I had to pull over and you
know pass over insurance and do all do the dance with the police none of that it was it was very
quick but it was the first time in my life another car made contact with my car
so here how here's how the story goes yesterday the sun was out
I had a bikini on I like to wear it's so it's so hot here right now I like to
wear a bikini to like
okay there's a motorcycle what the fuck am I saying I'm sorry I'm trying to like wrap my
head around this door, like think about this, this, the way I'm going to tell the story.
I like to wear a bikini. Like I wake up and I put a bikini on cause it's so hot. You know what I
mean? So I got that on. It's a, the weekend I'm going to run errands. I'm going to go to the
beach. So anyways, I'm, you know, I had a little sunscreen on too. Cause I have a really bad burn
on my leg. So I was all ready to go to the beach. I had my beach bag, beach towel, had my hat.
everything was ready to go to go tanning, and I had to go to, like, Target and do something in
Target, so I'm on the freeway, okay, and I'm driving, I think I'm doing, like, 65, right on
the dot, right, I was doing the speed limit, 65 miles an hour, I'm in the furthest lane to the
right, because I'm about to exit to head west to the beach. And this particular exit here in San
Diego has two options on it. Head west to the beach, or head east to the mountains, something
like that. It's not really the mountains, it's like the mall. It's like, you know, the other way. So
there's a little fork on the exit. Now as I approached the exit, I noticed a car.
uh, you know, that last minute little sliver on an, but right before an exit where there's like
a gap where you could probably pull over and stop if you needed to. Yeah. So I noticed a little
green, it was like a lime green car with its hazard lights on just kind of there completely
stopped. It looked fine. I, it wasn't really in the way it was like pulled off to the road. So I
just noticed that that has nothing to do with me getting hit, but that's one thing I noticed. Um,
um and so yeah uh sorry guys I only podcast once a week now and I'm a little I feel rusty
I already said that but like you know I'm I feel like I'm bad at telling stories I'm judging myself
right now so I pull I'm on I'm on the freeway I'm on the right lane I'm doing 65 no music on
I think the loudest thing in my car was the AC full blast
uh I'm going on the left portion of the fork on the exit towards the west so I
that's my blinker put on my blinker to go off the exit to the right
and then as soon as I get on the exit because I'm a good person I'm courteous
I do my left blinker to let people behind me know that I'm heading west
okay it did I did everything right and I'm on it I'm being honest with myself I'm like Jacqueline
did I cause this was this my fault no no okay so about two seconds after I exited
there was this white it looked like a beat-up Lexus like it literally had black skids on the
side of it because it looked like it played bumper it likes to play bumper cars with cars
on the freeway all the time and like literally just hit people for fun I noticed this white
Lexus or Hyundai I don't know it's like a white sedan come out of nowhere from the left
at a diagonal and I hear like a I can't make a car crash noise guys I need sound effects
um this is my keyboard my gaming keyboard I got from Amazon that
super clicky this is the sound effect I'm gonna make
oh god I probably broke a key did that was that loud loud enough
I'm trying to make this an interactive or theatrical or
fucking quality experience for you guys right now so I hear a bang a little bit not like an
extreme bang but I heard a bang off to my left and I really I realized oh my god this car is like
coming in hot and it just kind of hit me um and so thank god I accelerated
so my instinct was go faster don't swerve just like gun it so you get out of the way because
this thing's going diagonal on your left so I escaped a bad crash basically and all I noticed
so my impression of what happened was, oh, this car just hit my left, what's it called, my rear
view, side mirror, excuse me, not my rear view mirror, my side mirror, oh, all that happened
was it hit my side mirror in, so it wasn't that bad in my eyes, I was like, oh, it just hit my
side mirror, okay, so I'm good, and honestly, yeah, I just accelerated, I continued to exit,
I just stayed on my trajectory, I didn't do anything dramatic, I honestly didn't pull over,
because I didn't think anything crazy happened I did notice though in the back as I was exiting
and I looked at my rear view it looked like that car had kind of pulled over or something or here's
what I think happened it was trying to go east on the exit and it last minute off the five decided
like as it was going down the five last minute realized oh my fucking god I have to exit
and it tried to make it a last minute um I'm saying last minute a lot it at the last second
it possibly could it tried to swerve all across like three or four lanes I was trying to like cut
me off to exit basically and that's why it bumped me so anyways I looked at my rear view and this
X has a curve so like you basically I couldn't see the car after like three seconds um but all
I noticed I think it like pulled over um or crashed I don't really know I just I was like
I'll just, I literally like guys. Okay. First of all, uh, no swearing, no yelling happened
for me. Uh, no, uh, okay. I literally just kept driving and I rolled my window down and I pushed
my side mirror out and I went to the beach, but it was like, it hit my car. Like I, I got banged.
Okay. I don't know. I w I w I feel like I handled that pretty, like I was pretty level-headed and
pretty cool. I was calm and collected. I was pretty like, I don't know if I'm proud of myself.
I'm just like, wow. Okay. I've never gotten in a crash before. I've never had a car make contact
with my car and I feel like I accelerated like I should have and I got out of there safely and
I think the one thing I was told by someone I should have done is pulled over because
you know if there was damage I should have gone there and sure you know whatever I don't know
basically I didn't think anything happened I just thought my mirror got
um knocked in okay because I could obviously see that happen
anyways long story short I go to the beach I park and I get out of my car and I look at the
side of my car and towards my back wheel on the left hand side there's a dent and a scratch and
I'm like fuck okay so they kind of hit the side in the back of me at the same time um
it is what I honestly I'm just like it happened I I moved on I went to the beach I laid out in
hand I honestly wasn't even mad or I just was like okay I'll probably scratch I can probably
get the scratch out myself and the dent also myself so I don't know I just thought I just
thought that'd be a fun story to start the podcast with because I've never gotten a car crash before
and I feel like like they say when you move to California in the first year everyone gets in a
car crash on the five and I've been here for three years that was my first time wasn't even a car
crash I really hope the other person was okay um again I feel like you're supposed to stop
okay but I'm like nothing really happened my mirror just got hidden you know I don't know
shoulda coulda woulda right um everyone handles things differently I guess I'm just so
un-fucking-faced and I'm too like easygoing about everything where I'm just like I'll just you know
iron out the dent myself and drive around with a little scratch whatever um
my car's like totally paid off I don't really it's not like some fancy like Lamborghini or
anything even if it okay that's bad to say like I should even if it's like a beater car like I
should still care but I'm like the grand scheme of things like it's no big deal I'm just happy
I'm safe I'm happy the other person I hope they're safe um but yeah anyways um I'm so
hot right now. This is so bad. Jimmy's panting. Fuck. I feel like I'm inside a hot car. I'm
sitting in the window in the, in the sun. Jimmy, go to my bedroom. It's cool. The window's
open in there. Yeah. He'll find, he'll go to the cool. He'll like sniff out the cool
spot in the house. Yeah. You are my sunshine. My only sunshine. You have an abscess on your
chest he always gets a little like pimple or something that starts getting that starts to get
like pussy I feel like ever since I've had three golden retrievers growing up or overall like
three dogs and there's always like a pimple there's always like a little cut there's always
something happening it's just like part of being a dog I guess but I've been cleaning it up with
some peroxide and I've been watching it and I'm feeling it right now looks like it's scabbing
and it's healing but he's a good boy he's being uh very respectful right now when I used to podcast
when he was like I don't know two months old he would bite me the whole time he would jump on me
like if you listen to those older episodes from earlier this year it was just like me yelling it
or just like complaining about Jimmy biting me the whole time and like being annoying so okay
next story should I do a little like appetizer like transition palate cleanser story before I
tell the DMV story? I think so. Um, I wish I had a sound effect. I should probably, I should
probably, uh, start putting together sound effects for the transitions, um, at some point, but
whatever. Uh, okay. So speaking of Jimmy, the other day, I'm taking him out to go take a shit
and it's like at nighttime, like sunset time. And, uh, people, I talk to people all the time,
like when I'm on walks, people with dogs, my neighbors, whoever. Right. So I ended up talking
to, or there's this like nice girl, probably around my age, maybe a little older, um, sitting
on the porch and she wants to come pet him. Cause she always sees us walking. She's like,
oh my gosh, can I meet him? I always see you guys. I thought, or she said, I used to see this
blonde girl walk a golden retriever down the street all the time, and I was like, oh, that's
me, I went brunette now, and blah, blah, so we were just, like, catching up talking, and
um, anyways, long story short, I think I, yeah, I think I went somewhere that night, or I don't know,
the next morning, I went to my apartment, and I got a little note, I'm staring at it right now,
well, you just notice, it's, like, on a Ducati notepad, it says Ducati on it, um,
but it I got this note on my door at my apartment because I had told her where I lived and she left
her phone number and she's like if you like to come out for a drink tonight here's my number
this is my name um she's like my cousin plans to ditch me smiley face so that was sweet um she gave
me her number and I grabbed it I honestly walked inside set it down I didn't text her I didn't do
anything that day that night had already passed I did something else I didn't get home till the
next day whatever so this is the little thing this is a little story I when was this like two
days ago I was walking Jimmy again and I see a group of three people like walking towards me
down the street and I realized it was her and they were all kind of dressed up probably to go out and
get dinner or something in the city and it was one of those moments because we said hi because
like her I think it was she was with her parents they wanted to like pet Jimmy and like say hi to
my dog it's one of those moments where the eye contact was like I know you know I know you know
I know type of thing or like like you got that no you got my phone number and you didn't text me
and you haven't said anything and like the eye contact with her was like I just I felt like
she was kind of just like fuck you like or just like what the fuck or you know come on like I
don't know it was just kind of like a little like so that happened I felt bad and I honestly I'm
probably still gonna text her because I thought she was really cool but why am I like that like
I should have been more proactive or like quick about it and I should have said something like
hi last night I did something else sorry I didn't get this message till this morning blah blah I'd
love to go out for a drink with you another night this week blah blah didn't do it didn't do it and
we had that little awkward interaction kind of like half fake smiling and just like
I don't know whatever um well I'll probably tell her that when I go have a drink with her someday
someday soon so anyways there's the appetizer time for the DMV story
my apple watch is like you can still do it Jacqueline there's still time to close both
if you're moving exercise rings, totally worth it. Every day it tells me that. And I just like,
honestly, that's the first time I've read that completely through.
Usually I just read, you can still do it. And I roll my eyes.
I love my Apple watch though. It's like, I don't know. It's great. Um,
I needed to renew my license. So I went to the DMV or I had to like get a California license.
I've been using a wash okay it's just like honestly this is one of my insecurities about
insecurities about being an adult like I feel like I should have taken care of this when I
moved to California and like I looked at my license and I'm like my license doesn't expire
until 2021 so like I just keep the same one until it's expired right like I don't know
fuck it so it expired this year this last month and um I had to go to the DMV had to show them
some papers, sign some shit, pay him $38, get my picture taken, the whole thing. And I made an
appointment. I did everything online. I got in a virtual line online. Jesus. And it was like right
when they opened at like 840 or something. And I think it's important I describe my outfit for the
day going to the DMV and my like hair and makeup because I was going to get my picture taken I feel
like that's an important thing to describe right now or tell you guys so I wore let's start at my
feet I wore white excuse me fucking apple crisp I'm sorry okay TMI I'm being gross I'm like
Jacqueline no one I just like burp a lot when I podcast and get insecure and get embarrassed I
just like still talk about it as it's just like I shouldn't even say anything and I can't help it
okay my boobs are sweating now my boobs are sweating now um okay let's start at my feet
I'm wearing white foam knockoff Birkenstocks from Amazon like $21.99 on my feet uh freshly
painted toenails and I think I wore the Birkenstocks as I was like my blue toenails look cute and
they look cute with the white Birkenstock foam Birkenstock things
moving up we got sunburned legs I had like a rash on my calf but I was like fuck it I'm wearing a
dress moving up from that we've got like a maroon long sleeve flowy it's honestly like a potato
sack dress where it just like drapes over you um a free people maroon floral dress thing
and then my hair was in a low ponytail it was freshly washed kind of fluffy I didn't straighten
it or anything I figured I'll just like pull it I'll pull it in front for the picture and take
it out of the ponytail and that'll be good enough like it doesn't need to be styled like it's not
that like just it's not like I feel like for your license you don't need voluminous beautifully
curled hair you know so it's in a low pony with like a scrunchie and I did a light beat of makeup
I just kind of did a little tinted moisturizer and blush kind of went heavy on the blush because
I wanted I don't know some like dimension to my face in the picture if it would show at all like
I didn't want a flat face so I put a lot of blush on and just like mascara and brows I think I did
like a little like brown crease just like a little definition of my eyes that's it okay I look
polished put together fresh I like I liked how I looked that day um and I think I had a little oh
yeah my bag I have this like new uh I'm obsessed with straw bags um like a summer beach straw bag
thing had yeah so go to the dmv my appointment's at 8 40 i get in line there's a line wrapped
around the building out the door and i'm like oh fuck welcome to the dmv bitch this is my first
time going to the dmv in california at an appointment thinking i'm gonna run right to
the front of the line and absolutely not you gotta stand the back and stand outside and be out like
it's literally wrapping around the building and i'm like god damn it i thought this is why i made
i thought i made an appointment for a reason to skip all this anyways line moves moves pretty fast
you got all types of people in the DMV that morning I guess you see you kind of see it all
there uh and anyways um what am I talking there's a purpose to my story I'm about to read you
something I received at the DMV there's a teaser um I hand over my I get in line I finally get to
the front hand over my papers I thought I would have to take a drive test or excuse me a written
test I was told by someone who also got who also moved to California and had to get a license that
they had to take a they had to like retake a driver's test a written test I thought I had to
do all that but apparently because of COVID or whatever people out of state don't have to do
that now they can basically just take a new picture and get their ID in like two weeks
without having to drive test, written test, nothing. So I got in and out pretty quick, but
God, the one part though. Oh my God. I just like, this is the part I feel like everyone dreads.
You have to, you, when they give you a, like after you check in and they give you a number
and you walk over to the stadium stands or like the fucking, excuse me, the stands.
you walk over to the waiting area, it's, like, a grandstand of depressed people that are just
waiting, um, I don't know, my number was, like, J2, no, it was, like, what was my number,
why does anybody, nobody cares, it was, like, F26 or some shit, it's, like, plain bingo,
they, like, call it out, like, a robotic, a robotic voice, like, an automated voice calls
out the number. So I only sat down for probably 10 minutes, which, which wasn't too bad. And,
um, you know, I'm laying low. I'm not talking to people. I'm just there, you know, just like
at the DMV, I'm trying to get in and get out, move on with my day. I had work to do. I had
things to do. I had errands to run, people to see, places to go. I wasn't trying to hang out
at the DMV and be there all day. So I'm pretty happy. If I'd only had to sit in that waiting
area for like 10 minutes, so anyways, I go up to this counter, I go up to the counter, and
this is the part where I'm doing all the paperwork, and I'm getting asked questions,
and I'm signing stuff, and I'm like, okay, I'm paying, I had to like put my card in to pay for
my new license, and all that stuff, I think the guy's name was like Carl, I asked him how long
he'd been working there, he said like five years, he doesn't hate it yet, and I was complimentary,
i was very complimentary of him and the rest of the workers there they were in a great like i
don't know what i expected the dmv the dmv to be like but i thought it was going to be a bunch of
like bitchy karens yelling at everyone and being like kind of negative and it was just it was like
a bunch of mostly like it honestly looked like a bunch of post-college grads and like a few older
old dudes like carl carl um that were in great spirits and they were they were just you know i
know it was like the first thing in the morning they haven't been bombarded by people all day
it's not like i went there at 4 p.m but yeah i complimented him and i was like you know this has
been such a great experience i don't even know why i was small talking like that and being super
like kiss assy and nice i don't know i was just trying to like it took a while it kind of took a
while I was standing there, so I, you know, yeah, it was like, you know, talking to him about his
job, and how he likes it, and, um, anyways, this is the part of the story where I'm gonna
read to you, am I even still recording, holy shit, fucking, yeah, I still am,
sorry, some, sometimes I get paranoid, so, you know, I'm just about ready to go, and
A gentleman, about, let's put him at 6'3", probably like 280, white, gray hair, like Hawaiian shirt kind of thing, shorts, sandals, glasses,
like kind of a Santa Claus vibe dude comes off comes over comes from excuse me comes to my right
taps me on the shoulder and hands me a envelope he hands me an envelope and he says
he goes excuse me can I give this to you I was you know he's like handing me the envelope I'm
like sure like I think I said some bullshit like oh I like letters or some like cheeky fucking
thing I don't even know what I said and I had an idea of what was about to happen or like what this
was but I I don't know I kind of was like a little freaked out too like what the fuck um
you know he's friendly and he's like can I hand can I give this to you and I grabbed it
and then he goes, you won't regret this, and he walks away.
You won't regret this, he said, and he walks away, and I look down.
It's a DMV envelope he probably stole while he was there, and inside the envelope,
how do you find this blank piece of paper like did he go to like the printer
in there or something and steal this steal this piece of paper off the printer
um in the little so in the little window of the envelope I glanced down I'm still with Carl right
I'm still kind of like buttoning things up with my license about to leave and I looked down
and in all caps with an exclamation point it reads
lady in red dress
you know I like his choice here with the envelope he stole this is a first class male envelope
um because I'm a classy woman I appreciate that he gave he gave me this note in the right package
um I feel like yeah okay lady in red dress and I just go oh my god so I've been I've been someone's
been staring at me. I've been looked at. I'm being, I'm being watched. This man wrote something
in this envelope and I'm holding it and I have to walk out to my car in the parking lot. I parked
in the backsters and I would have parked. I'm just like thinking of all this shit. Like, oh my God,
like what the fuck's going on? This is like, whatever. Okay. It's like a Tuesday, right?
like 8 30 first of all so I get the fuck out of there as soon as I possibly could I like
finished with Carl I get the fuck out I walked to the parking lot now oh wait the part where I was
in line I didn't tell you this story when I was in line to take my picture after I was with Carl
excuse me I had to take my picture first um this dude I'm gonna call him Miguel I don't know his
name but he looked like a Miguel he was small talking the fuck uh out of me excuse me I shouldn't
swear he was small talking about like the cracks on the floor like anything he possibly could come
up with like I honestly it was super nice him too like we were we were talking about how they
should have a mirror there and a hairbrush for people and like you know some makeup products
for the women and they should have like a section of the DMV where you can glam so that you don't
look like shit in your picture and so we were just like I know we are we were having a fun
conversation so anyways yeah I ended up talking to this Miguel dude I'm just gonna that's his I'm
gonna that's a code name code name code name I'm using whatever so at the once I'm completely done
with my paperwork and taking my picture I finally get the fuck out and I go to the parking lot okay
I got the note from the strange Santa Claus man the old I'm gonna put him what did I say like
65 this dude was old and you know got my keys ready head into my car and Miguel
comes walking after me in the parking lot hey hey hey hey can I ask you something can I ask you
something I was just wondering like would do you ever want to like go get some like would you ever
want to get a coffee or you know like can I take you out like he asked me out on a date basically
in the parking lot on the way to my car and I just like quickly was just like I got a meeting to get
to you like I'm sorry I don't I no thank you like I'm you know I'm fucking married like whatever I
just turned I turned that around quick and like got into the car and I did have a meeting to get
I mean, I had shit to do, so I wasn't really lying to him, but I was like, God, I'm not getting like
fucking chased out of the DMV in the parking lot. And here's the thing. I am never wearing a dress
or just like looking, I looked nice. Like I felt like I looked good that day, but like the next
time I go to the DMV, I'm fucking wearing, you know what mechanics wear when they work underneath
cars those like navy jumpsuits those like burlap-y carhartt jumpsuits like I'm wearing that
and a fucking pirate hat and I'm going in there on crutches
and I'm wearing a backpack or I probably would get in trouble I don't know can you wear I feel
like backpacks look really fucking suspicious in public now or in like like anyways I don't know
It's all flattering. It's all like nice. Okay. People, I'm just, everyone's just trying to like
find somebody, you know, but I got to read you this letter from David. I'm going to actually
use the name he gave me. He doesn't have a last name on here. I'm not going to tell you his phone
number. No one can, no one's going to know who this is. Lady in red dress. Hello.
Hello. My name is David. I happen to see you today at the, I'm just going to read exactly how he wrote it. I happen to see you today at DMV. I love how he, okay, first of all, his A's are triangles.
He writes in all caps, his A's are triangles.
He's kind of got a style here.
He even signed his name with a triangle A when he wrote David at the bottom.
Hello, my name is David.
I happened to see you today at DMV, and I felt attracted to you.
This prompted me to inquire if you are single and giving opportunity for interested men to court you?
Question mark?
If so, I would love to see if we are compatible.
I can be reached anytime at 1-800, no, I'm kidding, just like his phone number,
and would love to hear from you.
You forgot the period at the end of the sentence there.
David, come on, bud.
You had like one opportunity, one chance.
What's that Eminem song?
If you would.
What the fuck is that?
That's the greatest song.
It's like the best hype song.
If you only had one opportunity to leave it all behind or get, what the fuck is this song?
Eminem. I got to know this lyric. It's going to piss me off if I don't look this up right now.
Eminem song. Fuck. Lose Yourself, fucking 8 Mile. I know this. I got to lose yourself lyrics.
You guys are all yelling at me right now. You're like, how do you not know this
lyric it's like so easy to remember because it's like implanted in your head since you were a
young child look if you only had one shot one or one opportunity to seize everything you ever
wanted in one moment david would you capture it or let it or just let it slip
yo his palms are sweaty knees weak arms are heavy there's vomit on his sweater already
mom's spaghetti he's nervous but on the surface he looks calm and ready david's listening to
song as he's fucking writing this david you forgot the period at the end of the sentence
and because of that i'm not interested in being courted by you and uh i'm also not
single anymore so sorry but
thank you for the story david and i wish you all the best and honestly this is very um
when I really when I'm I'm being kind of a jackass right now but I this whole podcast
turns me into the biggest jackass where I'm just you know how you know how I am okay we've been
here for 300 episodes about and it that's just what it is when I podcast and press record but
when I'm super, when I'm being like super honest with myself and like, you know, not
dramatic or anything, like his approach was super, like when he came up to me, I feel
like the part where he said, you won't regret this was a little creepy. And like, I feel
like he said that. And afterwards he's probably like, fuck, why did I say that? As he walked
away. I didn't really like that part, but like the way he approached me wasn't, it was
what's the word um not professional it was respectful yeah this was a respectful letter too
he was very straightforward I appreciate that um yeah over all overall it was respectful and just
like well executed other than the you won't regret this part but um it'll work on some other I'm sure
that will work on a different woman it just it won't work on it didn't work on me um I was not
I don't know, I just don't really, you know, it's, like, I'm just not looking for,
I'm not looking for anyone right now, you know what I'm saying, Jacqueline's, uh, she's just not,
she's been taken off the market, I don't know if I talked about that last episode, but, um,
I don't know, I kind of like to keep shit private, but let's just say I'm, uh, not interested,
and not looking, oh, fuck, guys, I'm, I'm sitting with my knees up now against the table,
the sun is now low enough to be on my face
first my thighs are sweating
and my boobs are sweating
and now my face is sweating
put moisturizer on
and I know that's going to sting my eyes at some point
and I also have mascara on
and it's going to also sting my eyes
so this might get
this might get
I might
what am I saying
I'm trying to find my tab with my podcast notes on it this is gonna be a two-hour fucking episode
I still have so much to cover like I haven't even talked about the vaccine
or the new variant or the Olympics or Governor Cuomo or Kanye or um what things that make me
happy I was gonna do that anyways let me bust through a few more intro or life updates and
just like stuff from this week should I just close oh my god I can I can actually just close
my blinds Jacqueline just put the blinds over the window there that's a lot better okay so
I had to go to Costco to get Jimmy food because I buy the Kirkland brand dog food for him because
honestly it's like the only fucking food he eats and likes and it's cheap I think it's like 16
bucks for a big bag um I think Blue Diamond is the brand that like you know how Costco
brand is like actually other stuff but just put the Costco label on it I don't know I looked it
up one time but anyways Jimmy loves this dog dog food from Costco so I had to go pick him up
replenishment and um
Um, this was the day. So on the way to Costco, I saw a new Rogan episode dropped and this was
the one with you. I'm going to butcher her name. Pretty sure it's Yomi Park. Yomi, Yomi Park,
Yomi Park. It's a cute name. Um, this was the one with Yomi Park. Um, she is
an activist from North Korea who I guess she escaped North Korea
let me I like follow her on Instagram what is her bio North Korean human rights activist
an author of In Order to Live um she's also a TED speaker yeah this was the day that episode dropped
that was probably the most sobering thing I have ever listened to in my life and I only had like a
15 minute drive to Costco and I started it in the car and I stopped it in the parking lot.
So only got to like the first 15 minutes of it. And I had to take a moment. I don't know if anyone
out there listened to it, but everyone that day was talking about it. People are still talking
about it I have never in my life heard something so horrifying like it I was like sick to my stomach
in the first 15 minutes of the episode and I mean I have to go to Costco right and she's talking
about how literally the entire country of North it's like North Korea's and like the people of
North Korea are perpetually starving or whatever she said like people are eating rats and rotting
in the streets and she said dead bodies were um like seeing dead bodies every day was just like
normal and she was describing a man at one point I think this was like yeah in the first 15 minutes
whose organs were outside of his body and he was somehow still conscious and alive
enough to beg for food and she's talking about being in the hospital and they and she had to
get a surgery or something for her stomach and they don't use you know anesthesia or whatever and
that's the first time she saw rats eating dead people's eyeballs out and kids chasing the rats
and like this horror horrible stuff then i saw a clip later about something about stoning people
and if they didn't stone people they would get killed and i don't even know if i need to listen
the whole thing like I know I need to but I was so traumatized from just that first 15 minutes and
I I also was just like fuck me I'm going to Costco like fucking the most gluttonous place in the
world other like it's like Walmart Costco food food food oversized like supersized everything
and I don't know I don't even know what I did I like pulled into Costco after I listened the
episode and I I just like sat there and I was like I'm not eating for like a week holy fuck
I can't even look at food right now and I had to like get Jimmy food so I was like okay I'm just
gonna go get Jimmy food and get out I ended up buying some other stuff because I put on some
happy music I put on some like little Nas X I don't even know I like put on some like I I walked
into Costco like after my five minute breather in my car I shouldn't be laughing but um yeah
like walked into Costco with headphones and music on to like kind of like make me feel less shooken
up but I had no idea that's the thing I don't think anyone had like that
I think it's when you when you hear details
from someone from someone's like first-hand experience or when someone goes into detail
about their firsthand experience of something like that it just it hits you in a different way
than like hearing about it like oh yeah this is going on in North Korea but like when you know
this person firsthand experience watching rats eat dead bodies eyeballs out of their body
dead bodies what am I saying dead people's this I'm saying this I don't know how to be more
I should be more sensitive and more like I don't know I shouldn't be so like when I talk about
this but that hits different she was so like shooken up as she talked about it too and
like it's still you could tell it extremely affects her and i can't even i can't even imagine
like what kind of
of I mean just like what she went through and the people there and even the part I don't even know
why this affected me so much too she was describing when she um hears people's voices
she can hear their fear but she said something like
there's something like they're so afraid and they're so scared for their life they don't even
know they are or something and oh my god i don't even know and it was also wild how she said that
that she that she didn't know about empathy or compassion and like she'd see
like people dying and dead people and it wouldn't even make her sad or
feel anything that's so fucking wild um shout out joe rogan though for bringing that to the world
and having that conversation with her because like i'm fucking speechless and i think it was a super
important interview probably i know i have a ranking of my favorite rogan episodes over time
and i think that just bumped out kanye talking about a utopia and fucking this perfect world of
like what was the kanye kanye episode about just like i don't even know
yeah she's right up there at the top of my list now my favorite episodes and i only listened to
15 minutes but I know that I don't even know how that how long was that episode let me look
how much do I have left um it makes me want to go research and watch videos and things about North
Korea because I feel like I've been in I've totally been in the dark and I haven't really
known about any of this stuff at all like I've heard things but I haven't really
thought about it or
like I don't have a clear idea of it
like I did after listening to her
two hours and 43 minutes left
holy shit
I'm gonna do it
I need to
I need to
and um
everyone should
everyone go listen to that episode
if you haven't already
and
it'll put a lot of things
into perspective
and
i don't know i've thought i've thought about this a lot i feel like in this world
i've talked about homelessness a lot on this show but it's really wild how
in 2021 for example there there are people living like
kings and queens the kardashians of this world like driving bentley's and living in living in
bajillion dollar mansions and like jeff bezos going to space and whatever like those people
living that way without with endless resources and you know everything at their fingertips
so there's people like that and then there's like people just dying in the streets and like
fucking starved and they don't have water and they're homeless or they're
you know they can't afford treatment for their diseases and they are gonna you know they
they die and they can't they just they have no resources and they're fucked and it's like we're
in a modern world and that it's just I guess that's part that's just a fact of life it's part
of life like I think that's always going to be the case like you can't 100% solve that but it's
just like what the fuck it bothers me a lot yeah especially you know I live in a city it's not LA
it's not like the homelessness here isn't as bad as LA and I'm not just talking about homelessness
I'm talking about people from all over the world third world country struggling and starving and
you know, like, the murders, the rapes, the, like, the, just the violent crimes, and
the trafficking, and the bombings, and the fucking, like, slavery, all that stuff,
um, but I guess in my, within my reach, or something that
fucks me up is like literally down the street from me under the bridge there's people living
or excuse me sleeping on cardboard boxes
they're a human being just like me and here I am in my warm apartment
super warm apartment it's making me sweat so fucking much and I'm complaining about it
here I am with this cushy lifestyle living my dreams doing my passion podcasting
you know playing with the cutest puppy in the world drinking LaCroix's like you know
I should have like a endless fountain of LaCroix's in my fridge at all times
and they
they're just like me they're home but they're homeless you know what I mean they're
they have the same, I mean, we're all different, like, okay, they're not, we're not all the same,
but, you know, they still fucking, they dream, they, you know, they have families, they have,
you know, hopes, and they want to find love, and they want to maybe have a family, or maybe they
do have a family, and they can't be with them anymore, and they're on the street now, or I
don't even know. They have the, they have a fucking life. They want to, they want to feel
like the thing is, is I think at the end of the day, people just want to feel good
and not die and survive. Like, even if that's a bare minimum, like I just want to get through
the day and not suffer. Like, that's the thing we all have in common. It's like, we want to feel
safe and secure and good and loved and fed and like we don't want to starve
um potential spam from idaho pocatello idaho pocatello idaho spam caller i'm having a moment
right now with my audience and you're annoying me and i don't like how my apple watch buzzes my
wrist it kind of annoys me especially when i navigate on my maps in my car and like my wrist
vibrates when i'm trying to turn like just fucking stop doing i probably could turn that
setting off but i don't know how yeah like i i just i don't know i should probably move on to
a different topic because i could probably like sit here for a while and get emotional about this
but um i think what i i think something i just thought of is that
why don't we like why don't I and I don't know if I just feel like I it's not like I feel guilty
about this but I I wish I lived in a world or I wish I was the kind of person or I wish everyone
would just see people struggling or like I'm talking about homeless people on the side of
the street they're like oh my god are you okay can I help people but it's just not like that
it's just not like that like oh they would like take them into their home clean them up like help
them like give them stuff like you know you can stay here at my place for as long as you need to
get you back on your feet or whatever like I wish everyone was like that it's just not the case a
lot of the times there's a lot of there is a lot of homeless people out there who want that life
they chose it they prefer that they like don't want to work they don't want to be a part of
society and they don't want to be in the system so they're on the street so there's a lot of
there's just a lot of factors or a lot of things at play with the homeless
population, but I don't know. I can't,
I just got to remind myself every day that I'm,
you know, I'm blessed and remember all the things I'm grateful for and all that
good stuff. And I don't like,
I don't think of, here's the thing. It's not, I'm having a moment right now, but
it's not like this ruins my day or I make my, or I think about this stuff all the time. But when I
do, it really affects me. And I'm, I'm just like, I don't know why I started talking about homeless
people. I guess it's like, I was comparing what I see in my daily life, which is not even
comparable or anything it's not even i'm not trying to compare me and yeomi park but um
i don't know
the homeless people here are living like kings and queens compared to the people in north korea
let's just say that like the people that she described with their fucking organs out of their
bodies dying in the streets like what the hell god she even said something like she saw lights
coming from China and she thought oh like we should go towards the lights because we'll find
rice like we'll probably find rice if we go towards the lights like what the fuck
okay I gotta move on but yeah I went to Costco and I listened to that episode on the way and
then I had to take a moment in my car and oh yeah and I took a picture I like sent it to someone I
like went to the snack section before you go to the registers at Costco and I took a picture of
the M&M section like the M&M containers the big fat jars of peanut M&Ms and I was like fuck this
shit people are starving out there and look at all this excess we have just boxes of food stacked
to the ceiling and bulk fucking boxes of candy bars and crackers and shit and I don't know
the bakery section is just like giant cookies and cakes and bagels fucking Costco muffins
i hate this no i don't hate this country i love this country i fucking love america but
god damn like we just i don't know
i think we're just too
we're way too fucking fed we i think more of us need to starve in this country
i think starving would be good for us a little more starving a little less eating
I made shrimp pesto pasta the other night that's my next thing on here after the Rogan episode
Yomi Park thing I wrote made shrimp pesto pasta yeah I made pasta I feel like I should mention
food at some point or like something I cooked from the last week that I really liked and speaking
of Costco while I was getting Jimmy Dog food I got the Kirkland basil pesto which is my all-time
I think top five favorite Costco product and yeah pick some of that pick some of that up
and I made I had I wasn't fresh shrimp I had frozen shrimp and then gemelli I think is the
name of the pasta shape gemelli pasta and pesto it was really good and garlic bread
and wine and yeah so that was like the recipe of the week I watched um another life update
then I want to talk about talk about the vaccine and stuff
uh guys this is the thing I do this once a week now and I feel overwhelmed with my list here
like I'm a one-woman show and I'm gonna have a three-hour podcast like no I can't do that
um oh i watched this is something i watched on youtube i watched the giga factory giga factory
i don't know how to say it elon elon musk jesus elon musk giga factory tour on youtube i don't
know i wrote that it's like a life update which was a bunch of gibberish i didn't understand a
single word he said and i feel like the cameraman i feel like they should have actually toured it
and like walked around but they kind of stood in one place in front of the uh what's that thing
they were building the booster cylinder thing that looked like a farm silo um it's not the rocket
it's like the booster they were building out in the background and um i don't know it was
interesting to listen to but it was like an hour episode on youtube of that oh another life update
I was on the phone with my dad for three hours last week or this week. Um, we caught up about
like everything. I haven't talked to him in like over a month and, um, yeah, we ended up going in
about every little detail of my life, his life, the world, every, my dad and I have the best
conversations. And, um, yeah, so I talked to my dad for three hours on the phone, which I really
needed I miss I miss my I don't know like I moved away obviously I live in I live in California but
even when I go to go home to Washington I never see my daddy lives on the other side of the state
and I don't know I think I've told the story before my parents are divorced and
they got divorced when I was 20 but I don't my like my family lifestyle as I knew it up until 20
is totally gone like I don't have that dynamic with my parents anymore and so now it's like
okay when I go home like I have to make a six-hour road trip to see my dad or he has to make a six
hour road trip to see me or I have to fly into an airport on the east side and like drive like
three hours to see him it's just not simple it's not I mean it's possible absolutely it's possible
but it's not like I'm close with my dad like I am my mom if that makes sense so whenever we talk
on the phone though it's just like the same old dad like he's just the same old guy and it feels
really good to hear from him and like hear about my grandma and how she's doing and my uncle and
his new wife and yeah I don't know so that was a highlight of my week I guess um
what else should I get into I think we're at the hour mark here
I've got people outside parked.
What's going on?
I got a...
Oh, wait, wait, wait.
Who's this?
There are three people.
We got a short white dude.
Tall black dude.
A lady that's like a...
I don't know.
She's like a white lady.
Kind of looks like Karen.
Kind of older.
Like a...
What kind of car is that?
It's like a three-series BMW with its hazard lights on.
I don't know what's happening.
Should I just talk about the thing that made me happy this week?
This is disgusting, and I know I was talking about, like, burping earlier.
What did I say?
I was like, oh, I just had Apple Crisp, and I'm drinking a La Croix,
and I can't stop burping.
The thing that made me happy this week, I wrote, and I wrote,
I've been writing on this this is like a new thing for me typing up my podcast typing up my
podcast notes on my laptop instead of handwriting them or not doing it at all so I've been adding
to this over the last week and I wrote that I had a really juicy earwax day and it made me happy I
wrote for the segment something that makes me happy cleaning my ears I recently had a juicy
wax day earwax day I mean there's something about that like okay I'm just gonna say it like it is
I'm not gonna judge myself now or act like or say like oh I'm being just I don't want to be
disgusting or tell you guys the stuff I'm just gonna say I'm just gonna say it how I think and
whatever most of the time I put a q-tip inside my ear
it just it feels good but I'm not digging anything out if that makes sense it comes out
white it comes out clean I don't have a lot of earwax I never really have
I used to get jealous with this girl named Amanda in elementary school who
I like I like sat behind her and I swear to god she never cleaned her ears in her life like there
was so much wax coming out and all i want i had this compulsive like i'm a picker i've talked to
you guys about how like every three months i attack my face and i i have like a i i have so
much composure and discipline around picking my zits but like every three or four months i get
super like i can't take it any longer and i like a couple i have a compulsive need or like
desire to attack as it and i go hard on my face and i scar it and i make it look
like shit so anyways i've kind of always been a picker but i used to look at amanda's ears i'm
like god i just wanted to take a fucking q-tip so bad and like we'd have slumber parties and i'm
like i'm gonna when she goes to sleep i'm gonna go to the bathroom find a q-tip clean her fucking
ears it was like gunk it was like visible from the like you could see it so yeah um I'm just
not that I've never had like waxy ears I don't know I just think it's uh like some people everyone's
different right so the thing that made me happy I wrote is that I had a day this week where I put
the q-tip in and came out real real waxy and orange and uh I don't know why does that happen
like all of a sudden like I have a day where I'm full of wax like what makes your ears waxy I should
how come like I should look this up where what makes your ears waxy
earwax is produced by the ear to clean and protect itself
it's secreted by glands in the skin that line the outer half of your ear canals
the wax and tiny hairs in these passages trap dust and other foreign particles that
damage deeper structures such as your eardrum what cause so
what does a lot of earwax mean some people are more likely to produce an excess of earwax
including people have who have very high stress lifestyles or chronic ear infections
yeah like as a kid I know like my cousins like I always remember growing up my cousins always had
ear infections my siblings and I don't think we have heard of a single ear infection like I don't
know what that even feels like and then I looked up oh my god okay this is disgusting but
I was convinced like earlier this year that I had fluid in my ear from like I had water in my ear
and I was like how does this come out like how do you get it out I used to be a swimmer and I had
all the techniques in my toolbox of like how to get water out of ears and I completely forgot them
so I was on like YouTube looking stuff up and oh my god I found a video where they the doctor the
like your doctor went into the ear and like sliced something and like all of this fluid
just drained out and was so satisfying like guys i know i'm a i'm a dr pimple popper stan like i'm a
i'm a pimple popper video watcher like occasional it's like an occasional thing it's guys why do we
like this why is it fun to watch pus exit a body another person's body too like some disgusting
person's zit or fucking cyst why are why why is that entertaining why is that soothing to watch
like especially before bed why did we all look this up before bed why is this a bedtime story
for adults in 2021 what's happening with evolution is this like what the fuck like i found myself on
youtube watching this surgery of ear fluid getting drained and i was like oh it's so sad i think it's
because it's like you see an end result and it's out it's like before it was like super infected
and pussy and then after it's like cleaned out and gone and that's satisfying like seeing a
before and after of a hoarder's house getting cleaned I don't know it's all we love a we love
a clean space and we like a clean pour I think that's what it is I think we have a fetish we
like clean pours or something like that Jesus Christ I'm not the weird person I'm not we I'm
not, guys, I'm not alone on this, okay, there's also the ASMR people out there, which I don't
understand the ASMR thing, how people like hearing, like, like, like, quiet noises, and, like,
I had a friend growing up, I won't say the name, but, like, my first best friend, or, so they're,
okay, I won't say who they are, who they are, but we had, my sister, my sister and I had
two best friends growing up that were like similar age to us and I remember one of the
one of my friends or my it was like my sister's friend and I had it and the other girl was the
other like sibling was like my best friend but the Jesus Christ the one girl excuse me
the one girl literally would just like make this noise I'll do it
for no fucking reason, like, as you're talking and having a conversation, she would just be, like,
or, like, it was, you know how people concentrate and bite their lip? She didn't do that. She would
just go. So, I don't know. Everyone's got their unique, uh, personality traits and
qualities, and bodily noises, and I guess, you know, hers was that, so I don't know what I did,
I kind of, guys, I was on, like, I was on video, and I, like, saw a video of me talking the other
day, and I was, like, do I have a lisp, kind of, or do I have, like, a, do I kind of have a thing,
do I have a thing with my voice or my
do you know like a like a little like something and I noticed it when I saw a video of myself
talking it's not like when I listen to myself I notice that it's more like when you watch me talk
you see it fuck I don't know I don't care I think it makes me who I am but I just noticed it and I'm
like, dude, I'm approaching 30 and I just noticed this. What am I on? What's the, oh,
fuck. Am I going to talk about the vaccine? I didn't fill in the segment here. Something
that pisses me off, but I'm going to come up with it right now. Um, something that pisses
me off are people who should you. They think they're trying to be helpful. They're coming
from a good place. They mean well. They have good intentions. But they forget that you're
an adult who can make your own life choices and decisions and they don't control you and they
can't do things for you and so something that pisses me off is this the segment something that
pisses me off yeah are people that should you and they tell you what you should do or what you
should have done or this is how you should do it blah blah it's like and I mean this after you make
the decision and after you've done something they they come after you or they come at you and they
pile on 10 layers of the they pile on 10 different courses of action you should have taken
versus the one you did and I don't like that so that's something that pisses me off because
here's the thing in the past I was a total um people pleaser type girl who would roll over
just let people walk all over me and I'd be like yeah yeah yeah you're right yeah I know that I was
being stupid I should have done that or like I would um and honestly over time that crushed my
self-esteem and self-worth because I was allowing other people to tell me how to be and I wasn't
owning who I am I wasn't owning who I was and now I make decisions I own my decisions I'm like
I got this I'm confident in what I'm doing here I'm smart enough to I'm like I like I
no here's the thing I trust myself to make these decisions and make the right choices and
I'm owning whatever I do and I'm not backpedaling and second guessing and going
and beating myself up if I after the fact made maybe the maybe I didn't make the best decision
like I'm not I'm not beating myself up over it I'm just marching forward and I'm moving on
and I and I that's how I've I think that's my favorite thing about myself now is I like
especially with a car crash for example I just move forward in life I don't sit and get hung up
on stuff and get pissed off and bitch and moan and yell like I just I don't know it's just I've
I've just developed into this unfazed just like clear my what's the word I have perspective I
think that's the word I just think of the I have perspective and I don't get hung up on small
stuff that doesn't matter but yeah anyways the thing that pissed me off are people that should
you I don't want to be shitted like it's not that I don't want people to tell me what to do and you
can't do that you guys this is like you're probably like oh this is a specific you probably have a
story to tell right now about something that happened recently and you're not you're like
beating around the bush you're not saying it and yeah you'd be right there's something that
happen where i'm annoyed and i'm like uh i make my own decisions i am an adult and i am confident
and i'm happy with the decisions i make and so don't come out don't come at me after i've made
a decision that you don't like and explain to me 10 different ways on how i should have done it
better which is not necessary um yeah so that's something that pisses me off this week
the olympics are over what let me just read off like my list here
um i haven't even talked about the vaccine yet
yeah olympics are over governor cuomo's fucking up uh needs to resign needs to be out of there
that's my opinion i don't really want to talk about it that much but that's going on
uh my says my 600 pound lady dies i wrote let me read the story or the headline i just wrote
my 600 pound lady dies my 600 pound life
um death i think she was 30
gina crossley crazily
died dead at 30
let me read tmz here what they say
gina craisley crassley who appeared on season eight of my 600 pound life has died according
to tlc the official cause of death is unclear but an obituary says gina died sunday at home
in Tuckerton, New Jersey, where she was surrounded by family.
So they don't know how she died.
In the clip, Gina says she's been struggling with her weight for as long as she can remember.
Da-da-da.
It's sad.
It's sad.
gino's gino survived gina survived by her wife elizabeth crassley her sister her mother and
her grandparents she was 30 years old r.i.p well fuck um that's sad
I wonder like I mean at that point when you're 600 pounds I feel like something like that would
be related to your heart just failing or I don't know they said they don't know how she died on
that article but 30 way too young um Kanye's doing things I don't really I haven't been paying
too much closer what am I saying Jesus guys my legs are up on the table now I'm sitting like a
CEO no I'm sitting like I own a business or I'm like someone's in a in a chair in front of my
desk and they're getting fired and I'm sitting back with my legs on the desk like fuck like I
just don't give a fuck um like you know what like they're crossed I feel like when I was a kid
i don't know if i watched my parents do this or i would see this in tv shows and movies but i think
i attempted attempted to do this once do this once at the dinner table or something and i got i got
yelled yelled at so bad because it kind of looks sophisticated and it kind of looks like you're in
charge when you sit on it you sit at a desk with your legs crossed up on the corner so that's its
current position and uh I'm still hot as shit so yeah anyways Kanye's making a new album
and he keeps putting on these listening concert things and he's recording the album I think it's
like I think he's paying like a million dollars a day to record the album in the I think it's
mercedes-benz stadium something like that but um
i don't know what the fuck's going on all i saw was like a prison cell looking bedroom and i know
he did a live stream when he was doing like push-ups and arm curls and like people were
getting their hair cut in the in the live stream and it's just like a bunch of fucking random
bullshit and i feel like he's kanye and he can do anything and people are gonna think it's fucking
art and like the most artistic thing ever which cool like yeah I'm the type of person though where
I'm like I think people I think people a lot of people my age like Kanye because people like
Kanye or like people think I don't know it's like groupthink with Kanye what is the definition of
groupthink groupthink definition sociology groupthink is a groupthink is a phenomenon
that occurs when a group of individuals reaches a consensus without critical reasoning or evaluation
of the consequences or alternatives groupthink is based on a common desire not to upset the
balance of a group of people so like most people would regard kanye as an amazing artist the
greatest of all time like such a phenomenon a genius blah blah like the genius thing i just
don't see personally but i don't know i just think there's a lot of stuff in this world where people
like it because other people like it and there's enough people that like something where
if you don't like it you're like the odd man out or you're like i don't know
like the fucking bedroom though it was just the bed and I think there's like a bottle of like
tequila on this nightstand or something and just like a few shoes laid out it's like what are you
trying to do I kind of get it like I get it but I don't get it but that's part of the current news
this week I wrote why are celebrities talking about bathing yeah it seems like every day I look
at pop culture news or I hear about it, someone, like, some celebrity, like, major celebrities
from, celebrity from, like, the early 2000s or, like, the 90s, like, the,
who was it who started this? Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher were talking about bathing their kids.
Yeah, okay, so I feel like that's what started the celebrities talking about bathing conversation,
and now I feel like multiple people have come forward and say and they've talked about their
bathing style and their and their lack of bathing themselves and like how they don't wash their
whole body and they just wash like this part or that part of blah blah and I don't know it's kind
of like a funny thing right now um I've recently come to love showering that's a word I've struggled
with many times on the show so don't make fun of me I've openly talked about my L's I struggle
certain L words. Um, cause I have a, well, I had a tongue thrust as a kid and I had a gap in my
teeth and I feel like that L issue has never gone away. Um, but shower, shower, showering is a hard
word for me. Shower, showering, showering, showering. I've recently come to love shower,
showering, fuck me, a lot because I've been going to the beach a lot and I've been, um,
tanning and everything so there's something about the combination of
going to the beach laying in the sun getting crispy getting tan
eating fruit drinking coconut water and like and then driving home kind of sandy maybe you went
to the ocean your hair is kind of salty and crunchy and jumping in the shower
and you're kind of maybe a little sunburned and sun-kissed and the water feels really like
I kind of make the water cold like I'll do like a little post beach cold shower and then oh my
god then you put like a ton of like I put like my lotion on and I my I use like this light oil
and I put my bathrobe on and then my I'll wash my hair super well I'll lay in my bathrobe on my bed
like I'm in a hotel for like an hour just chill and the beach like it makes you sleepy like laying
in the sun makes you sleepy and then you get like take a nap so I don't know like showers have been
great lately because I've been going to the beach a lot and I don't know no one no one's asking
about my bathing routine but if you're curious I wash it all I don't get how you don't wash
everything or like what were people saying they just like the celebrities are like they just wash
their crotch and their armpits and that's it I'm like you want to know what I do you know what
here's what I do let me set up I feel like this is not good for the audio
god I love podcasting I started like what almost two hours ago here we here we are talking about
shower like bathing I'm just gonna change the shower work to bathing because I can't say showering
I get in the shower
I wash my hands or yeah like I kind of wash my hands a little bit with some soap because I wash
my face first I don't like to do dirty it's like sometimes I do this sometimes I don't
most of the time I wash my hands then I do my face I wash my face sometimes I do like a two-step
process if I have makeup on and then if it's a hair wash day a shampoo lather that hair up real
I get my when I shampoo my hair I get my hair super wet like dripping wet so that the suds and
the like it gets my my shampoo gets super sudsy and foamy and I can get like all the way down to
the root like you really have to get your hair soaked when you shampoo especially if you have
thick hair like me so I do my hair super I'm like shampooing my hair rinse that out and I rinse my
hair out and wring it out really good I have long obviously I have long hair so I wring it out really
tight get it as dry as I can before I do conditioner because if your hair is soaking wet and you put
conditioner on the conditioner will just like rinse out and slide out as you're like washing
the rest of your body so I get my hair as dry as possible and then I put conditioner in it and then
I kind of spin it and put set it on top of my like the top of my head so the conditioner doesn't like
run down my back and get all slimy so I don't know I can wash my back um and then I go in I get
I'm a loofah person I know judge me I use a loofah sometimes I don't though sometimes I use
uh, like a sponge, like a sea sponge, kind of like whatever I have at the moment kind of varies
or I have like a, sometimes I use my dry, my dry brush to wash my body, which might be weird.
I'll put soap on my dry brush, which you probably shouldn't do, but it feels nice.
Um, and then I feel like I go right arm to my shoulder, left arm. I'm doing the motion right
now chest stomach back I do the all I do all of the non-stinky parts first on my torso so like
I'm not doing my armpits yet kind of doesn't matter but I just I just just save those for
later and then I go down my legs and I wait I don't do my I do my feet last I go all the way
down my legs I like to be all foamy head to toe back of my neck for sure like I get that really
good too um then armpits do my armpits I always start with my left and then do my right and then
uh then I do my balls I don't know how to say this I do my crotch and my
fucking ass everyone watches you don't wash your ass what are you doing come on everyone wash their
ass if you haven't if you haven't been doing that get to it whatever technique works for you get
your ass clean every single day clean your ass and uh that's the last step before i do it yeah i do
my feet last and then my favorite part is my feet then i put a special soap on my feet uh it's got
like peppermint in it and i go in between my toes and i kind of do like a little foot massage and i
and I do like I do a little like um god this podcast is long I like cross my I'm doing it
right now my uh heel over my thigh and I massage my foot like I rest it on my thigh
and you get all my toes and I need a little scrub brush or a little pumice I feel like that'd be
smart to have in the shower and then I wash my feet and I rinse off and then I shave okay so
then conditioner still in my hair then i gotta shave and if it's a quick shave day i'll probably
just do my uh calves and my armpits but if it's a full shave day i like a full hair wash day full
shave day that's like a 45 minute fucking shower um dude i'm so like like the fact i can even do
this i'm so like like some people can't they don't have access to this shit they don't fucking
have a shower they don't fucking have like a hot warm water and a nice but nice products and like
fucking a um yeah then i go in with my skintimate they rebranded by the way the skintimate uh
raspberry rain shaving cream is the one i've been using since i was like 13 years old put that all
over my legs and I shave and I use a new razor every time there's two things as an adult that I
buy in excess and I use as many as I want as often as I want I buy in excess I don't try to be I'm
not stingy about these two products because I don't know why I was in the past I feel like
I mean when you look at prices of stuff it's like over time yeah I'm probably paying a lot
more than I should for this stuff these things but for the like I like a close shave every time
I don't want to use a razor at the same razor for six months I don't like to use the same razor for
like I use reusable razors like I don't want to reuse it I probably the max I go is maybe three
he shaves with the same razor. But for the most part, I'm using a new one every time. I get like
a 30 pack on Amazon. I think it's super cheap too. I think like 30 blades, they're five blade,
like, uh, they're Salimo blades. Um, I have the same handle. I just like add the new razors to
it every time. I think it's like 35 bucks or something. I feel like that's such a great price
and they work really well anyways but yeah I shave um my legs and then oh my god why am I
talking about my showering routine guys I haven't even talked about the vaccine yet
I'm looking at my notes here oh yeah and then I shave and then I rinse my hair and then I get out
okay that's pretty oh and then I moisturize and I don't rub it in my my technique for moisturizer
because it's kind of annoying to have to rub in lotion forever until it goes away no I I lay it
on thick. I don't really care if it's kind of like still showing the lotion on my body. Like I let it
go on thick. And then I put my big, I have like a giant spa bathrobe, like a big white heavy
towel bathrobe thing. Um, I finally invested in one of those. I thought, you know what,
how can I feel like I'm living in a hotel spa every time I take a shower and like hang out
in my apartment and I concluded that all it really takes is a really nice heavy bathrobe
I think it's a terry cloth is that the technical fabric name I don't know it's a game changer like
get yourself like a luxurious bath bathrobe and it makes you feel just so amazing and I don't know
so I put lotion on they put the bathrobe on and then I just like lay down or like I'll go do my
makeup or whatever i'll go around my apartment and do stuff while the lotion soaks in um see
how that's kind of what i do fuck should we just cut to the chase talk about the vaccine and then
end the episode yeah what's the new variant it's like the it starts with an l new covid variant
obviously there's delta
the world health organization has designated variants
etta lota kappa and lambda variants of interest and is tracking 13 additional variants that
originated in the u.s brazil the philippines is the vaccine or vaccinated people causing this
shit to mutate i don't know what's happening dude why are there more oh okay we got a lot to talk
about a lot to talk about but like so 70 of the u.s is vaccinated and yet we're hearing about how
hospitals and icu units are overrun with covid patients for whatever reason and these people a
lot of them are vaccinated what the fuck's happening it's not working clearly something's
not working guys are you hearing this news like they're like the ICU units are like 90%
COVID patients now and they're the hospitals are overrun like what the fuck
clearly it's not working something's not working
I don't know why or I don't know if you guys feel the same but like I was under the impression that
like earlier this year like oh the vaccine's gonna roll out things are gonna like improve
the vaccine's gonna work and like it's obviously not 100% no vaccine is but
now they're telling vaccinated people to wear a mask
the fuck um so anyways New York City New York City my mom's in New York right now
like actually new york city which is interesting because i'm talking about new york right now and
i don't know why i mentioned that um my brother just moved out there so she's visiting him but
new york city has vaccine passports and mayor bill de blasio um so he put in place you guys
probably heard about this the key to new york city thing which is basically
a vaccine mandate where you gotta show like there's an app so you walk into a restaurant
or go to a gym or like a concert or whatever you got to show your app and they scan your phone
to verify that you've been vaccinated um
short and sweet it's fucking stupid that's my opinion it's fucking stupid um i feel like it's
violation of our constitutional rights I need to look up like HIPAA laws but I feel like and
honestly based on last year I feel like the HIPAA like I feel like there are so many HIPAA violations
going on but it honestly doesn't fucking matter when you look at what's been going on over the
last year like HIPAA who HIPAA violations like don't matter like it's not even guys and you
have to understand I'm not even an anti-vaxxer but I just I think it's scary that like in New York
City the government is like they're taking away your freedom to fucking eat in a restaurant
like what do you do in New York City you eat at restaurants like so it's just or like working out
in a gym, you can't go in there if you're not vaccinated. Like, you can't go into Joe's Pizza
Shack in New York City unless you take an unapproved private drug. Again, it's fucking
stupid. You guys know how I feel about it. And again, I'm not an anti-vaxxer. If you want to
get the vaccine, get the vaccine. I think it's great. I think it's a good thing. I'm all for it.
I'm not vaccinated, I don't know if I've mentioned that, I'm not, um,
I just don't feel comfortable with it quite yet, and based on what's going on, it's,
I'm not convinced, I haven't been convinced that I should take it, uh, because
it's, it's like a therapy, I mean, you have to get a booster, it's not a cure, it's not a,
it's not like the polio vaccine where you take it and then boom you're not gonna get polio
it's not a guarantee and I'm mostly concerned I think when I'm really being honest with myself
about the what-ifs the long-term effects that we don't know yet I feel like this needs a couple
more years like for me to feel like I don't know if I'm waiting on the FDA approval so much I feel
like I'm waiting on years to go by before I take it because I don't know I just think it's too
there's too many um unknowns and again it's not a guarantee like people are getting
COVID who are vaccinated and it's not and it's like there's a lot of theories out there like
oh yeah if you get the vaccine and you get COVID the symptoms will they won't be so bad well that's
not that's not showing in people that are vaccinated who get COVID like it's like some
of those people first of all people are dying from getting vaccinated or after they're getting
vaccinated in fact my dad on the phone just told me like two people he knew after like two weeks
after getting vaccinated just knocked over dead there's a lot of weird stories people's livers
failing and like like uh blood clot like all this weird shit there's like a lot of weird stuff and
I know it's such a small percentage when you do the math when you run the numbers and you go okay
how many people died post-vaccine you know divide that by how many people are vaccinated I know
I know but I'm just a little I think I'm a little scaredy cat and I'll admit that I'm just not I
don't feel comfortable getting vaccinated and it's just not even it doesn't even fucking seem
like a vaccine it seems like what is it a gene therapy I did hear a funny thing that like people
are what are they calling them like super vaccinators super vaxxers who are going they
like got the Moderna vaccine like both shots and then somehow they got like both of the Pfizer
shots like when they're like doubling up I don't even know but again like it doesn't seem like
things are improving it seems like things are just like escalating in a different direction
now with the delta variant and the pressure to get vaccinated and how now they're like holding
that over our heads and like basically scaring us into submission like it's like oh do you want
to get groceries this week sorry you got to be vaccinated like it's turning into
what's the fucking definition of fascism i'm like this seems like fucking
fascist as fuck okay fascist i'm sorry i gotta like brush up on my definition here
authoritarian
ultra nationalism characterized by
dictatorial power
forcible suppression of opposition and strong
regimentation of society and the economy
which came to prominence in the early 20th century Europe.
Yeah, I don't know.
None of this shit sits right with me.
I'm not just like easygoing about it.
Like, oh yeah, does everyone get vaccinated and wear a mask
and everything will be fine?
No, it's like our power is being taken away from us.
And it's not like, so in New York City, for example,
It's like, okay, they've got this, these vaccine passport app rules in place.
It's like, are they just going to like one day just take that away and go, okay, so it's all good.
We're done with this now.
Like, no, they're going to, I don't know.
Like, I think some people just go, yeah, like, once it clears up and gets better, they're going to discontinue and stop all this stuff.
Like, no, I just feel like they're going to pile it on.
I don't think masking is going to go away.
I don't think, I don't know.
If, honestly, like, if we're so concerned about keeping this country safe, why aren't our borders closed?
Like, they act like it's so serious and, I don't know, like, we're trying to.
like get control of COVID but it's like there's so many like fucking back ass backwards and upside
downs down things that don't make any sense like that's a whole my whole take on COVID since it
started is nothing fucking adds up or makes sense and I'm constantly in a washing machine of
information that's telling me one thing in the next day tell me a different thing and build all
of our hope up and get us excited for summer 2021 and everyone's getting vaccinated and things are
gonna go back to normal boom now i'm hearing in two weeks then august we're gonna fucking
lock down again and i'm hearing about vaccine passports and i'm hearing you know shit about
the airlines and acquiring vaccinations and all this and companies doing the same thing to their
employees and i know there's so many people out there they're like fuck this i'm losing my job
No, I'm not getting the vaccine. And I don't like how people are, who can, like, I don't know, like critical thinking and people that are skeptical and are not sold on the science yet or they have their hesitations and reservations and their concern.
I don't like how those people are being labeled as like anti-vaxxers and like, like all their
Trump supporters and or whatever, like they're thrown into a box and it's just, it's not
the case.
Isn't that, won't, don't you think that's positive?
Like people that are a little bit more, they need more time or they want to think things
through more.
They're not, they don't feel comfortable.
Like not everyone's going to just be gung-ho to get the vaccine, something that's new.
And, again, we don't know the long-term side effects of.
If you look at vaccine research, like, this is, it's been, like, what, how many years has it been?
Like, I don't even know.
I'm talking out of my ass at this point.
But I did have an appointment to get vaccinated last week.
And I was going to do it.
I was going to do it.
actually made two appointments because I uh got in the car in the first to go the first one I had
a panic attack I was like all right I was just like fuck this I'm not why am I doing this like
I don't even want to I was just like uh what's the word I was kind of shamed into getting it
by people around me I was like made to like I just like
I don't know and then the second appointment I don't even know why I did that again and I got
I was like like an hour before the appointment I was like I'm not fucking doing it
I don't know the biggest thing like as a woman it kind of scares me like hearing about
the possibility about of becoming infertile like I'm not saying that
like I don't even know if that's going on I know there's like a whole there's like a Facebook group
out there with like thousands of women who have fucked up periods and they're like I've had my
period in 10 years and I just got it all of a sudden and I've already gone through menopause
like weird shit with their periods and like their menstruation cycles and I don't know
that doesn't sit right with me I'm a woman I want to have kids someday like
this stuff I think about everything
and again it's like a third it's not really like a vaccine I don't it's on it it doesn't
really well it doesn't seem like it's been working
god people don't like what Rogan said about the vaccine either um that whole bit he did
or that segment what what interview was it the uh Evan Hafer the uh CEO of Black Rifle Coffee
and him sat down and talked and he had a whole like 10 minute section of the joke and him talked
about like I guess like the vaccine passports and the vaccine itself and how it can create like
uh mutations I don't really get any of this shit guys I just know that
and I can't honestly I can't wait to look back at 20 like 20 20 20 21 in 10 years and find out
like I know there's going to be answers at some point like more clarity on all of this and that's
what I'm looking forward to and along the way I'm just going to sit here and probably bitch a lot
and complain and just be like what the fuck I'm so confused I don't know what to believe I don't
whatnot like i'm i'm this disoriented like citizen who doesn't really have
a clear idea what the fuck is going on in this country in this world but
um i have it's fun to talk about it's kind of fun to like listen to other people talk about and
um it's not so it's not so
i don't know people this is the thing i don't understand why how are people so easily convinced
that's what I don't get how are they when nothing over the last year has been consistent from the
government or the media or the CDC or the fucking Dr. Fauci nothing has been consistent everything
we literally every other month it's something new and it's the opposite of what you heard the month
before everything has been like tug of war so when people I don't want to understand I just
don't understand how people are so like convinced like yep this is what you do this is how it gets
solved yep i agree with this everything yep this makes it it's like how i wish i was one of those
people who just could be like i don't know let's maybe paranoid am i paranoid not really i feel
like i'm smart and some people would argue no you're fucking stupid you're not vaccinated so
when you get COVID you're gonna have worse symptoms and you're gonna you potentially like
and if you if you're not vaccinated you're gonna like god it's all about like being more concerned
for other people's health than your own like I'm putting my health first I'm not I'm more worried
about my long-term health and the long-term side effects that could happen to me over some random
person in the grocery store that I infect with COVID like I'm sorry like I'm not getting the
vaccine to protect like that's the argument everyone's like well it's it's for other people
you're getting the jab you're getting the vaccine to help protect other people I'm like
that fucking makes no sense if it was a hundred percent effective and it prevented you from
getting COVID absolutely 100% I'm taking it but that's just not the case and I don't like the
fact that they're talking about how we need boosters. Like what the fuck is that? I don't
know. So yeah. Um, it's gonna be an interesting rest of the year. If the winter, the colder
weather uh happens which what am i saying i feel like lockdowns are coming this winter everyone
like i don't know it seems like that i don't know is this just life now
here's the deal here's where i'm at let me end the episode because i'm just kind of bitching
the covid subject is so
it's it's been beaten to death and revived and beaten to death again and resurrected from the
dead and beaten to death again it's just like I'm so sick and tired of talking about I'm so sick
and tired of hearing about it in fact earlier this year I even said like once a vaccine rolled
out and things are starting to like cool off and cool down about COVID and the election was kind
of over things were looking up right and I was saying I remember this I said even listening to
a podcast or seeing COVID on the news or any of that, it, it honestly, like it made me sick to
my stomach and it made me just feel kind of nauseous. And I'm still talking about it. I'm
still hearing about it. I'm still, and I'm just like getting even more, just like burn out of it
all. I'm just like, I'm so sick of it. And I don't know what episode I was listening to. I think it
was again jesus christ i listen to joe rogan i'm fucking so cool what's the episode i was listening
to um ari shafir had said he did a little ceremony a little burning ceremony of his masks and he's
like i'm done with covid i'm done thinking about talking about it i'm just like i i put that to bed
he had a little ceremony and it's over for him and i feel like i'm kind of at that place too
where I just want to, the only reason, literally the only reason I'm having this conversation
and talking about it is because of this New York City vaccine passport thing, and it's
just, like, the whole violation of our privacy and our rights, and because that's what I'm
worried about like I don't it's not so much about the vaccine for me and it's it's about
the principle like holding that over people's heads and taking away your freedom to like again
like eat in a restaurant get groceries go to the gym go to a concert like
how is this even happening like i just
and how does it go away that's the thing like how does this how does this reverse back to where
that's not a thing and you don't have a fucking app on your phone that says you're vaccinated
are there going to be like and are there going to be that like special store places like out
middle of nowhere designated for people without a vaccine they're far away from society like
are there going to be like designated like what the fuck like what is the future of this I don't
know if you can't get an airplane without a vaccine I'm going to start the war I'm going
to fucking how do you I don't know how to start a war but I'm going to do it I'll be the first
person how do you guys how do you start a war how does this how does it happen because if I can't
get on a back if I can't if I can't fly home to my family without having a fucking vaccine in my
body like that's where shit blows up in my head that's where things go real south and I feel like
that's coming I feel like that's it's something like that is it starts with New York City and
then it trickles I don't even know I guess I was hopeful and I'm kind of upset that I thought
things were just gonna kind of go back and you know the vaccine would actually work like what
the fuck i mean shout out all this shout out all the scientists out there working their asses off
i mean we fucking owe it to y'all but get it right get it fucking right figure it out
would it be better if people just got COVID
versus having all these people get vaccinated and then the virus mutating and new variants
emerging because of
people's like immunity or I don't even know how vaccines work is that is that what's gonna happen
does it get like does the vaccine does the vaccine does the virus like
adapt and get stronger and then like the vaccine won't even fucking work at all like i don't
understand any of this again i don't but like if no one was vaccinated and people just got sick
i guess it would still mutate that's just how viruses work but i don't know
I think vaccines make things kind of weirder and like it can be more like
I don't know guys what time is it holy fuck what else is on here I think that's it
Jennifer Aniston says she's she eats one chip a single chip when she's stressed
Jesus Christ that's something I wrote
that pisses me off that's what that's the thing that pisses me off this week
Jennifer Aniston eats one chip when she's stressed go fuck yourself like
if I'm having a breakdown if I'm stressed I actually said this as a not even as a joke
but there's a bag at Trader Joe's I discovered a bag of chips I discovered at Trader Joe's
without everything but the bagel seasoning on it it's like kettle chips with everything but
the bagel seasoning on it and my sister and my mom visited me like last month and we went to the
beach and I literally ate the entire bag or like 90% of it to myself and drank white claws and I
wasn't even stressed I was loving life but like I know if I'm having a breakdown I'm eating that
entire I'm going to Trader Joe's I'm buying the entire bag and I'm eating all of it
fuck you one chip what the hell like
i don't know
why even say that like what the like you're so you're so mentally
tough or like so self-disciplined to just eat one chip in your stress jennifer aniston like wow
i'm jealous of you honestly but um
Um, ah, juggling any episode. What am I on? Episode 293. I'm kind of sad. Like I'm not
busting through the 300s right now. Like if I continued my seven days a week, um, pattern,
I'd be well over 300 right now, but it's kind of cute. Like one episode a week where I talk out
a lot of different topics that have happened over the last seven days. It's kind of cute. Like
I feel like it's it fits my lifestyle but it fits into my lifestyle better
um especially like work and I don't know it's kind of it became super redundant
at the end of it there back in June it was like I'm saying the same thing every day I'm just
forcing I'm forcing myself to do this it's not actually it wasn't as fun as it used to be
because I felt like I was podcasting seven days a week for the sake of podcasting seven days a
week. It wasn't like there wasn't really a purpose or a theme to each show or really anything. I was
just like, hi, what's up? Life update. This is what happened over the last 24 hours. And the
same thing in my life, like the same thing happens every single day. And it's basically like, yep,
I woke up, I drank coffee, I walked my dog, I worked, I went and worked out. I went to the
beach. Like, I don't know. Okay. That's it. Um, hope you have a great week. Thanks for tuning in.
I hope you enjoyed this episode. Um, shoot me a DM about your, I don't know, just about anything
I talked about today. I like when you guys DM me. I want to hear some, I want to hear from someone
that is super supportive of mayor bill de blasio's decision to put the key to new york city thing in
place and those vaccine passports like i really want to like i need to hear i hear a lot of people
complaining about it i want to hear someone that's like this is why that's a great decision and why
it makes sense and why every other city across the united states needs to do it too like you
know i i need i don't know i know i can stay in my own bubble a lot on social media with the people
i follow and the podcast i listen to i listen to a lot of like i do i listen to a lot of people that
a lot of like-minded people um to myself people that think like me i don't know
um but here's the thing this is the thing this is the thing let me be honest when i hear people
When I hear the opposite perspective, and this is what is kind of fucked up to admit and sad to admit.
Like, when I hear someone's opinion about it, it's just an opinion.
Like, it's, I'm not, I shouldn't think, I don't really think less of them as a person.
But literally when I hear the opposite perspective on the whole thing, especially with the vaccines, I'm just like – or not especially the vaccines, just like the way COVID has been handled and the lockdowns and the masking and the politics of it all and just like support for Dr. Fauci, like all this shit.
I'm like, are you, I'm, I'm like, are you, I almost want to take their shoulders and shake
them, I'm like, how the fuck are you, how do you, how are you, what the, are you okay,
are you thinking clearly, like, it literally, it literally does not add up to me,
I think a lot of it is people believe what they see
from the media and they take it as truth and they believe the stories they've been told from it they
don't question it they just accept it and I think because of that they that's how they come across
and that becomes their opinion too and you know it's kind of what it is now where I'm the type
of person I'm still podcasting I haven't ended the episode Jesus Christ can be three hours
because of what's been going on over the last year and the inconsistencies and the lies and
everything. Every time I see something on the news, I go, I question that. I question it.
Or I'm not even fucking watching it at this point because it's useless. It doesn't serve me at all.
It doesn't help me at all. It just confuses me. So, but yeah, if anything, if I'm seeing it,
I'm questioning it. I'm digging deeper. I'm like, I'm not just going, yeah, I believe everything
they're saying is yeah. Yeah. It's just like, yeah. Okay. Jacqueline in the episode. Okay. I
hope you liked hanging out with me today. This is, that's what this podcast is. You know what,
what's my why? God, everyone who starts a business needs to know what their why is. Everyone who
starts a podcast. Jacqueline, what's your why? Here's my why. Why do I podcast? First of all,
It's my passion. I love podcasting. Second of all, I have, I've had bad days. I've had dark
times, dark phases, and nothing in those times made me happier and made me feel more comforted
and close or like connected or like, what's the word? This is sad. It's like Jacqueline,
just what the hell what am I saying I turned to podcasts when I felt alone and felt kind of down
and stuff and I'd like go on walks at night and I'd put on like a comedy podcast or a self-help
podcast or whatever and I always turned to them and I always enjoyed listening to them so
I'm so my why is like I want to be that for other people and if you're listening to me I feel like
you probably relate to me in some way you probably related to something I said today
And I want to find more of you out there and I want to connect with more of you out there and virtually befriend you.
This is so fucking like kind of cringy.
Like I want to virtually connect.
But yeah, I just want to be like a friend in your ear on a regular basis online.
And I know I don't know like most of you personally are in real life, but that doesn't really matter because I feel close to people that I've never met before on the Internet.
And that's the way it is now.
So hi.
Let's be friends.
Guys, I need to stop this episode.
That's what it was before, though, when I did it seven days a week.
I was like, I'm literally talking to you every single day like a friend,
and that's what I want to be.
I just want to be like a friend in your ear, hanging out with you,
talking about my life, talking about things going on in the world.
to entertain you and to like give you a little it's like it's just like a little escape a little
something a little entertainment while you're doing your dishes or working out or going for
a walk when you're depressed or driving on a road trip or whatever you're doing right now like
it's not that serious that's just what I want to do so here we are I just disconnected a cord and
it stopped recording but anyways I'm gonna end the episode thanks for hanging out again I keep
saying that thank you for being here today thank you for taking the time to listen to me
and uh i appreciate you i hope you're doing well i hope you're enjoying your summer
i hope your family's doing well hope you're staying healthy hope you're mentally well
um if you're not go for a run dude just go for a long run until you fucking feel amazing because
that's i don't know that's an option there's so many ways to work on your mental health but
I know breaking a sweat is like the best way for me and podcasting I love podcasting it dude
