What's up, guys? It's episode 297. Welcome back to the show.
hey what's up it's Jacqueline welcome back to the show
happy Sunday. Yeah. Um, Sunday's my day. Sunday is my recording day. So happy Sunday. I hope
you've had a great weekend. I hope, I hope your team's one. If you watch football, um,
yeah, I'm liking Sunday, you know, I work all week, so it makes sense that I sit down and reflect on
what went on in my life on Sunday night. It's currently 6 58 PM. My dog is eating kibble and
rice and a little bit of pumpkin, um, pureed pumpkin on the side. Cause I love him and we
just walked and yeah. So let's do a podcast. I've got my notes out on my phone for once.
I came prepared. I have notes of things to talk about six bullet points here. Um,
should I rip the band-aid off and just let you all know right off the bat that
I got the jab I'm vaccinated bitches okay it happened this week so I'm gonna talk about it
that's one of the topics um I went golfing for the first time my dog is back yeah so I just
mentioned Jimmy eating dinner he's been gone for two months he's been in Washington with my mom
staying at her house. And yeah, he's back in San Diego with me. So I'm going to talk about that.
Um, I found this new Instagram account, so I'm going to go and read some comments on it,
which I think are funny. So, uh, what, how should I start this vaccine dog home golfing?
Okay. Honestly, when I, I was, when I said happy Sunday in the beginning of the show,
something about Sunday is like it's like warm it's like I'm giving you a verbal hug right like
happy Sunday it's like the warm and fuzzy day of the week so I like so I'm just reflecting on my
show right now I like that it's a Sunday podcast anyways um so yeah I watch golf right I watch
golf on TV I like watching golf I followed it my whole life never I have never gone golfing
what am I saying I've watched like what I went to the farmer's open a couple years ago like I
watched golf in person for the first time two years ago but then Monday was my first so this
past Monday was my first time going out there and I also so I watched someone else golf the
whole time I sat in the golf cart but I actually went around 18 holes for the first time in my
life. And I love golf. I love watching it. Like I said, my parents. So the reason why I think it's
like part of, um, well, it's something that makes me happy is because growing up, my parents would
like put us three kids to sleep and like, basically like the golf channel rocked us to sleep when we
would take naps. So I associate golf with like just lounging around on a Sunday, probably Sunday
afternoon um and being just like all cuddly and happy so um I don't know what to say other than
I went to Torrey Pines Municipal Golf Course shout out Torrey Pines it's local I used to live by it
and fun fact during COVID um I hate when people say fun fact first of all that's the most annoying
when someone's just like offering up fun facts about themselves like volunteering that information
that no one's asking for it's so annoying it's just like it it's just i i i get i get put off
by it jimmy jimmy come on come on come on sit sit good boy um what was i gonna say
oh i snuck on the golf course during covid when all that shit was shut down and i walked on
whatever um the government robbed my fucking freedom and ability to walk into a grocery store
without social distancing what was what were all the restrictions last year I couldn't turn up in
the club last year so my fuck you to okay I don't want to say that that's I'm trying to keep it um
I'm trying to keep myself professional here I'm a professional person in society outside of the
show and I got to keep it together. Um, my little angsty inner angsty teenager self, um, rebuttaled
the gov by walking on a closed golf course. And I also did that at the beach, but that wasn't
really like a big deal. Cause I feel like everyone did that anyways. Um, it was a, it was a rainy
day a rainy afternoon we were golfing uh with three guys it was like David Derek and Dom
there's like three old dudes they they called themselves the triple d they golf there every
Monday evening so or afternoon so we were at the same um holes as them the whole time so
anyways that was fun I like I like being around you know I've always said this like something
about old people, I'm calling them what they are. They are old. They are retired. They're over 65.
They would consider myself a young person, so I'm considering them an old person. These old people,
these crumbly old geezers. Sorry. Just make me happy to be around old people in general, okay?
I don't know what it is. I think I grew up visiting my grandparents, great grandparents and like getting babysat by them and being around them all the time. I guess maybe not. Maybe not everyone has that experience, but I did. And I go to the retirement home. I go to the nursing home and I'd sit around and chit chat with old people when I was younger. So I like it. It's entertaining.
all three of them. Well, one of them had the funniest swing I've ever seen in my life and it
was great to watch. Basically, let's just talk about my golf experience. What did I do? Check
my Instagram. Okay. I was on a full on fucking photo shoot the whole time. Okay. I was in that
golf cart. I had the phone. I got to stop taking screenshots of videos. The quality, like when I
post a picture on Instagram, the quality just isn't like, it's just not like a portrait mode
photo so anyways I was like putting my phone in the corner of the golf cart and I was like
taking video of me like posing and shit and then I afterwards I like screenshotted and
um took stills from that video anyways so I was I was on that journey in the golf cart um my
boyfriend I'll just say I was with him he was golfing I think he did a really great job um
I think when you're that tall you have an advantage in golf he is six five so uh he was
he was hitting the ball really far it was very it was very nice to see I don't know what I'm
saying guys I don't okay when I podcast okay part of the part of my podcast is talking about
pod is talking about is me talking about reflecting on my own show as I'm doing it like I'm taking you
behind the scenes and I'm like debriefing about the show as I'm doing it if that makes sense I'm
like editing on I'm like in I'm basically sharing with you real time what I'm thinking as I'm doing
it right now I hate this episode that's fine I don't like any episode I usually don't I'm not
impressed by like anything. I just, I have that imposter thing. I have that cringe thing with
myself where I'm like, I just can't, I'm like annoyed already with this, with this particular
episode. Anyways. Um, something you should know about me is that I feel like I have to kind of
refresh y'all for a while until you guys tune in weekly, regularly, um, and become a lifelong
listener. Please hit that subscribe button if you haven't already on Apple or Spotify. I'm here
every week. But the point of me saying this is last year during COVID, I hate that word.
Last year, September 4th, 2020, I set out on a journey to podcast every single day for a year.
Okay. I made it to June. I recorded about 300 episodes and took the summer off, took July off
and came back in August doing it weekly. So the point of me saying this, this is like the part
where I'm, or this is refer, or this is why I was saying, I'm taking you through my head right now
as in podcasting is because I went from podcasting seven days a week to once a week. And I don't
like it. Like I'm being honest. Like I, I need to be on the radio nine hours, nine, nine hours a
day. Like I need to be on a microphone all day long. That is my comfort zone. That is my safe
place. I feel like I'm flying. This is like my, my, I found my passion. This feels like I'm the
most free I've ever been because I'm opening my mouth. I'm being unfiltered, unedited. I'm just
talking. I'm just sharing my life with people. I'm telling stories about my life and things that are
going on it's an audio vlog it's an audio diary it's all these amazing things that make me feel
so good and so at home with myself and I can't recommend talking to yourself enough I really
can't um with all that being said I doing it once a week makes me feel rusty if that makes sense so
I just started talking about taking selfies in a golf cart and as I was saying that I'm like
Jacqueline delete this episode so we're gonna go back to the golf story um how did the day end we
did 18 holes the sun set the sun's going down I don't know if anyone else is noticing it uh it's
going down quicker the days are getting shorter and it sets at 6 30 here in uh sunny San Diego
so anyway sunset and literally like it went down over the ocean and the ball went in the hole the
18th hole and we were done. And then we left and what did we eat for dinner? I don't remember.
Anyways, that was my, that was my Monday, Monday afternoon. Um, do you guys want to know about the
vaccine? Should we talk about me getting vaxxed? I still have a bruise on my arm. Um, oh, quick
little story. I don't know if you guys know this about this Emily girl on TikTok who everyone's
obsessed with like how she cooks her food and how she like in her videos because they're very
what's the word um aspirational or like aesthetically pleasing to watch because
she's everything about her so clean and perfect and like the little sound effects as she's
dumping her rice in her rice cooker just tingles your ears so nicely and and the way she like
makes, even the way she cooks and what she's cooking is interesting. So I made, um, the reason
I bring this up is I made her viral dish. Okay. I made that salmon. I made that rice. I made that
seaweed, avocado, soy sauce, mayo, and sriracha dish. Okay. I made it and it was off. It was,
it was crack it was I want to eat it I have rice in my fridge for Jimmy that I cook separately for
him and like I want to crack open a can of tuna after this episode for dinner and like I don't
have salmon to cook but I would I would do the same thing with tuna tonight like that's how good
it is I do have overripe avocados this might happen for dinner might be my Sunday night
dinner do you know guys talk about like bachelor meals like bachelor like I used to date this guy
and he would put out a fucking cutting board for himself and he called this his bachelor meal and
he'd have like little mozzarella balls and like smoked salmon and like broccoli what would he do
for uh what was like the main meat he'd always do i don't know just like little things on this
cutting board um he didn't eat bread or anything and he was like avoiding carbs constantly which
is annoying to live with um but yeah anyways he called them his bachelor meals he had like a what
was the meat i feel like there's always the same meat hot dogs oh my fucking got these grass-fed
of course organic grass-fed beef hot dogs from trader joe's that he would cook chop up and put
on this goddamn cutting board that's next to mozzarella balls and like pepperoncinis and
whatever else he had um oh and like marinated artichokes literally on a wooden cutting board
and he called it his bachelor meal so like do girl like girls like do we have bachelorette
meals or do we have like is there like a term or is there a thing we do when we're home alone like
single living in our apartments like what's the equivalent of that popcorn and wine watching
gossip girl or like pretty little liars I guess that's like what we do but um or we just don't
eat that's the thing we do but guys I feel like are that's kind of screwed up to say we sit we
sit down at night and eat a giant salad and cry um I'm I'm just talking about myself and the dark
times dark the dark times I had being a girl in my 20s so far um those days are gone I'm eating
I'm eating Emily's well maybe I actually want to make it with um salmon if I do it again but
I made it. I made it. Okay. I made it. If you're confused, go look up Emily salmon recipe and
TikTok on Google or on TikTok. Just like type in Emily. I'm sure she'll pop up. And the reason why
everyone's freaking out over it is because when she, so I'll just tell you the recipe. I'll just
share it with you right now what it is is white rice salmon um so you put on a low okay get a
plate I use bowls I don't like plates I don't know if I've told you guys that before I'm a I'm a bowl
person or I'm a bowl plate person where like the plate has a dip enough for like soup to sit in if
I don't eat, okay, I also, fun fact, oh my god, guys, come on, do you guys want to hear a fun
fact, I don't eat soup, or I hate soup, okay, I've ranted about it before, chili's okay, beef stew's
okay, clam chowder's okay, and those are my only three I like, but anything else, no, thin bisques
can fuck right off, and I'm not into this pumpkin bisque everyone's eating right now for fall,
I don't get it, I don't want it, I don't care if you're dunking bread into it, and that's how
you're eating it? No, I don't like thin soups, thin bisques, thin broths. No. Anyways, you take
a bowl, preferably if you're doing it my way, a bowl. I'll do it. I'll tell you Emily's recipe.
Take a plate, put white rice down, put salmon on top of the white rice, take a fork and mash
your beautiful salmon. I got yelled at for doing this. Like as I was making this, I was being told
you're ruining the nice salmon. How could you ruin the salmon? Like this is what Emily does.
I have to do it the way she does it. So yeah, you mash up the salmon into the rice and make it all
like cohesive and mixed. Okay. Oh, okay. Then you put an ice cube on top of that right in the middle
and then you put parchment paper over the ice cube over the salmon rice combination mixture thing
and you put it in the microwave and you cook it for like a minute or whatever just to heat it up
now the reason why everyone's freaking out when we get to it is because the ice cube somehow doesn't
melt when you put it in the microwave so that's why I think that I'm pretty sure like yeah that's
why it went viral because people couldn't figure out why the ice cube stayed whole so you take off
the parchment paper you remove the ice cube okay and now you're doing the sauces now you're doing
mayo she's a special mayo I'm not sure what it's called but you do mayo sriracha you're doing
zigzags little squigglies on top of this plate with the rice and salmon little back and forth
squiggly squiggly is like you're doing a it's like a it's like a uh what's the math a sine cosine
tan uh fuck what are those axis thing oh my god you're on a y-axis you're on an x-axis and a y-axis
you're making a sine wave you're making a you're making a fucking excuse me i don't want to i i
cut myself off in the beginning for swearing or i stopped myself i'm going to do it again here
you do a sine wave over that fucking rice salmon mixture with all the sauces and the soy sauce
and then uh you mix it okay it's like this little creamy salmon rice mayo sriracha soy sauce thing
I just repeated that how many times okay now you're slicing an avocado you're setting that
on the side then you're taking kimchi your kimchi's on a separate in a separate dish off to
the side um and then oh and then you're taking you're opening your seaweed packet guys want me
to do this real time I have a pack of seaweed for for the sound effect should I go grab it out of
my cupboard the sound effect of her doing it is so satisfying anyways then you're taking chopsticks
you're laying that seaweed over your rice mixture salmon rice mixture and you're squeezing it with
the two chopsticks and then you're putting the avocado inside of that and then you're eating it
so I made it it was great I love it and it was on my notes this week to talk about so now that's
checked off I'm actually going to use the checks on my notes app um two down one two three four
five to go or if like it's like 3.5 some of them are small topics by the way so I was in my car
excuse me I'm thirsty
sparkling lime water for the podcast tonight and my now jean full of lukewarm temperature
lukewarm temperature room temperature water okay um oh yeah i was in my car was it this
morning or yesterday, and I was like, something smells like shit, like, it smells like death in
here, not death, it smelled like shit, like, okay, you guys all know what shit smells like,
um, sorry for swearing again, it smells like fecal matter, I can't do this show, dude, I can't do it
tonight, I can't, it stunk, okay, and then today, today, I was putting together a salad for lunch,
and I'm like where's my kimchi where's my kimchi I just went to Costco with my mom this week
we got kimchi and it wasn't in my fridge and then I thought about it and I'm like that's what's in
my car it's permeating or it's the scent is busting through what's a better phrase for
busting through permeating penetrating uh it uh fuck it's coming out of the sealed
never been open before kimchi jar in my car it is perfuming my car somehow
honestly they need to work on those jars if that's the case like you should not ever have
that smell coming out of a kimchi jar it should be glass it's plastic okay i don't understand
what's going on with this kimchi company. It's actually from, should I look this up? No, this
is like too much of a tangent. Anyways, I discovered today that my kimchi is still in my car
and I have to throw it away because it's obviously going bad. Um, actually I should message Brad
Leone from, uh, Bon Appetit. He's always fermenting stuff and he'd probably recommend, or he'd probably
say, oh, that'll be fine for like five years at room temperature. It just ferments. It keeps
getting better, it ages like wine, you can just leave it out, like, he'd say some shit like that,
um, where's my podcast at, oh, I just want to make sure I'm still recording,
I'm still on GarageBand, what do all the pros use, I don't even know, like, I,
maybe, now that I'm doing this again every week, maybe I should,
I think I'm going to ask Santa for the good microphone for Christmas, the Shure
cm17 some i don't know what it's called the sure microphone sh sure sure sure show or i i don't
know the name of it i know it's an sh word and it's four hundred dollars it's same price all
the time it's the best one it's what every professional podcast host uses i'm thinking
about asking santa for that um for christmas anyways oh god jimmy i know bud you're back to
the podcast, um, studio. What are you, what are you're back to the podcast witness
where I can't give you attention. Okay. Um, okay. Jimmy's home. Let's just talk about this really
quick. So I went in the month of September, I went home for Labor Day weekend. That's when it
all started. Basically from September all the way through September, I was traveling or doing
something, um, for the whole month. And my mom, I'm repeating myself cause I know, I know I
mentioned this last week. Um, my mom offered to babysit him for the whole time. So I don't have
to board him because I was going to go. So I went to my mom's house in Washington. I did this
three day camping, hiking trip around, um, the Washington coast and like up through Rainier
back up to my mom's house. We did like a big circle. And then the week after that, or the two
weeks after that, I flew to South Carolina, excuse me. And then I had like two days to get ready for
my five day, 50 mile hike. Go listen to last week's episode. It's called, it's called, what
did I title it? I hiked 50 miles. Yeah. I had like a two day turnaround before I hiked 50 miles for
five days. And then I flew back to San, or I came back to San Diego and now I'm back, um, until
Christmas, I think. Yeah. I might be going to Florida in December. What's the date today?
I forget. Yeah. I might be going to Florida next month. I don't know yet, but pretty much right
now I'm home. Jimmy's home. She flew him back this week. Um, shout out to my mom. She's literally
an angel for offering to do that. And cause here's the thing. My sister got a new puppy
during this. So my mom had a German shepherd puppy and then Jimmy to babysit. And it's like,
she's got her own life. She works, she's busy. And she was like totally willing and able and
just, or just totally of like, she wasn't put out by it. She like offered to do it and almost
like wanted to do it so I can't thank her enough I was able to see the east east coast I was able
to see South Carolina for the first time I was able to hike 50 miles for the first time and go
to Yosemite for the first time and I had all these amazing experiences and it wouldn't would not have
been possible it would not have been possible if it wasn't for my lovely mother and yeah her home
because she lives out in farmland and it's just so easy to easy to babysit a dog you just like
she Jimmy honestly she would like leave and let him just sit in the yard as a guard dog or just
as a farm dog and he he didn't leave the property he was a good boy he got lost one time though
apparently when it was really foggy and someone called the they got the name tag on his collar and
called because they had him which is only like a few blocks away but I was kind of I was kind
of scary to find out. Made me really sad. But anyways, so she flew home this week or flew.
Excuse me, Jimmy. Get off. Get off, bud. I'll do this fast. Jimmy, 20 more minutes. She flew him
here and dropped him off. She was here for a few days. I'm trying to think. Oh, and she's the one
that was like, you're getting vaccinated. Like I basically didn't have a choice. She like booked
it for me and like pretty much forced me to do it if I'm being completely honest and like real
about it it wasn't like I told her like we had a little we had a little debrief meeting after I
was vaccinated I'm like understand that I was like mom you have to understand like what I just I
didn't like want to go do that that wasn't something I was planning on doing or wanting to
do at all. Like my choice was to not get vaccinated and I have all of my reasons for it. Like any
other Walmart shopping, Trump supporting anti-vax, uh, QAnon, uh, person out there. I have all my,
what, what other characteristics do people that don't want to get vaccinated have?
uneducated, unintelligent, paranoid, scared. Oh my God, that video of the guy talking about how
all these people that aren't getting vaccinated are so scared. There's just a bunch of scaredy
cats. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. So I'm just like anyone else out there, any other crazy ass
American who doesn't want to get vaccinated. I'm one of those people. No, it's not like that,
but I wasn't going to get it. So, um, I currently have Pfizer in my body, bitches. I'm, I'm
Pfizer'd up. I'm Pfizer injected. I have a bruise to show for it. I have a video of the
injection happening because I wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to bleed out. I kept,
I keep listening to all these goddamn, I can't swear. Jacqueline, stop swearing. I keep listening
you know, all these, uh, Rogan episodes where he's talking about the vaccine and COVID still,
it's just like constant here and there. I'll listen to them. And I keep hearing them talk
about how they got to aspirate. You got to ask when, when you get injected, when they put the
shot in the needle and it's got to aspirate where they like pull the syringe back a little bit
before they squeeze it in. And apparently the reason for that is to make sure you don't hit
a vein or an artery. Um, because, uh, apparently, I don't know what the studies are right now,
or I don't know what kind of, um, data is out there to show for this, but apparently
people that are having adverse reactions to the vaccine potentially got it injected wrong.
And so who knows? So I was paranoid about that. I was like, Oh God, I want a video just to make
sure so if I know if something bad happened I would like at least get to see how it was done
so yeah um I'm Pfizer'd up but I want to talk about so real quick I don't want to get into
details and it's a bro it's just like beating a dead horse at this point I'm so sick and tired
of COVID talking about the vaccine I'm just like mentally broken down about it like I just can't
anymore I'm so I'm sure a lot of people out there can relate to that it's like I'm trying to be
optimistic here like I I'm trying to be positive I'm trying to you know and it's just like it's
not ending it's just getting worse it's just like when is this shit gonna fucking get back to quote
unquote normal and like can we just I don't think it will I think we're just gonna have a lot of new
ways of living just like when they hooked up TSA after 9-11 and we had to take our shoes off like
it's probably just gonna be one of those things we're all gonna adjust to and get
eventually comfortable with unfortunately because I don't know
when it comes to like stripping our freedoms that's where I have the biggest
beef and like issue um anyways and like just how people are getting fired right now over not
choosing to get the vaccine I have a really hard time with that stuff and what I was telling my
mom I was like I think that's been getting in my way or getting in the way of me getting vaccinated
because it was almost like I wasn't getting vaccinated as a is like a way of as like a
protest because I disagree with how these companies are treating their employees and
how, you know what I mean?
So anyways, what I wanted to say, so what I want to start off talking about when it
comes to the vaccine and my experience is I did not have an easy time with it when it
came to discussions with other people I really like I really felt like shit every single time
I ended a conversation talking about the vaccine and I decided I made a conscious choice when this
all started happening and when the vaccine rolled out that if someone wants to get vaccinated or if
they don't I'm gonna live and let live and they they it's their life they're an adult they can
make their own decisions I'm not gonna I'm not gonna like try to convince them that they should
or shouldn't do what they decided to do like I'm not gonna sit there and have a full-blown
conversation and pick them apart and make them feel terrible about their decision like I decided
I'm like, it's a medical thing. It's a vaccine. It's new. Some people are going to not care and
be gung-ho about it. Some people are going to care and they're going to be a little more hesitant.
And so when I decided like, okay, when I have conversations with people about this,
I don't want to come across like an asshole and a jerk and inflict my opinions, my fears,
and project my hopes and fears all over them about what I think and what I think the best
decision is because it's already chaotic to begin with. This pandemic is already chaotic. It's
already confusing. And then to pile on a bunch of, um, uh, just opinions all over people about
the vaccine was just, it's just not, I just, I don't want to do that. Okay. I just, and here's
the thing I would expect. This is why I'm talking about it. I expected that same thing in return
or I just assume like oh that's how people will treat this but no it became it became
like you're a horrible member of society if you're not vaccinated
and that's how I was treated and that's how when people talked to me about it that
um were they had gotten vaccinated and they you know wanted me to that's how they honestly
treated me and that's how it kind of felt or like that's how I and here's the deal they mean
well they mean well right but here I'll say this like in conversation I was told like
what if I love all the what ifs because it's just like you could it's that's just so what ifs are
the most especially around COVID are the most annoying things because it's like you're gonna
drive yourself it like it doesn't get you anywhere it uh what's the word like
what if is so you can't base decisions all your decisions off of what if we could do that back
and forth people on both sides of the argument could do that back and forth and it just it
doesn't get you anywhere what if what if what if so I was getting told all the time like well what
if you had COVID and you gave it to you know your elderly grandparents and they died wouldn't you
feel guilty and wouldn't you feel and have that guilt on you for the rest of your life
and and oh what if oh you have a family member who had cancer and went through chemo and you're
close with them and what if you had COVID and you gave it to them and killed them and you'd have to
have that guilt for the rest of your life so I was being told that and which I get from their
point of view like why that makes sense and why they think that and then it was like oh and then
of got kind of extreme like okay if you were to give someone COVID and you weren't vaccinated that
can be traced as if I would go to jail or something and that would be a lawsuit if I was if I was the
person that gave someone else COVID and I got and I could like get sued over it like I'm not aware
of that I don't know what's going I don't I don't think that's the case or I don't so I was getting
told like oh you'll be a criminal you'll be like a murderer basically um and I got told like oh
you're an overthinker. Don't you overthink everything? Um, this is probably something
you shouldn't overthink. Um, you're getting in your own way with your over-analytical brain and
you, your overly curious brain and you're over, like you should, or like you're paranoid or,
um, what was the other stuff I was told? Like, it just wasn't like, Hey, this is all I wanted.
let me just cut to the chase because I got other stuff to talk about and I got a dog that needs
attention because he's a baby and he's like he's turning one actually next month let me just cut it
cut to the chase here all I wanted from the people around me that were talking to me about the
vaccine was respect I wanted to be like I wanted to be I I just I guess I is this selfish oh yeah
I was also told this is the number one thing.
Oh, it's selfish.
You're selfish.
All you're thinking about is yourself.
And, you know, you're not thinking about other people around you and what you could potentially do.
And anything I said about how this whole vaccine seems like a fucking crapshoot
because of all of these breakthrough cases happening and how people are having adverse reactions
and how like, it's not a one and done thing. You have to get multiple vaccinations and boosters and
it wears off and blah, blah, blah, blah. Like anything you say or anything, it doesn't,
I was just never like seen and heard about it. It was just like, oh, that's a bunch of BS. You
need to get vaccinated, go get the jab, blah, blah, blah. But all I wanted, let me again,
cut to the chase, was, hey, Jacqueline, I disagree with your decision, or I wouldn't make that
decision if I were you, something like that, but it's your life, it's your body, it's, you know,
whatever, and I respect that, or I can still respect you, and we can move forward, and blah,
blah. Like, you know what I mean? Oh no, another thing I just thought of, but okay. So doesn't
that make sense? Like, that's all I wanted. I just wanted to be treated like with more respect
and more like understanding because yeah, I might be one of those crazy ass people that overthinks.
It's not even crazy. It's just like I had all my reservations cause I, yeah, I was a little bit
scared and scared about it. Um, I don't know if you guys know this. I scheduled two appointments
back in like June May June and had full-blown and I don't have panic attacks but I had full-blown
anxiety uh what is it called like um anxiety attack anxiety episodes or I was like too worked
up to even get into the pharmacy to get it done so I canceled both of them so yeah that was me I
I was that person. And anyways, my favorite thing was this logic or this way of this. Yeah. So I was
told, um, and I'm just talking, I'm just telling you guys my experience because maybe someone out
there listening right now, right now can relate to this. Maybe someone out there right now is just
like rolling their eyes. I don't know what it is, but I'm just, I think it's important for me. It's
just like a release I'm getting this out there COVID is a once in a lifetime event for us most
you know it's our first maybe of many but it's it's I'm documenting my experience I'm bringing
you along with me and this is what's going on when it came to the back when it came down to
the vaccine this is what was going on in my life and what I was um going through so yeah like I was
told hey my friend um like what if my friend is really uncomfortable with you coming into the
house when yeah yeah yeah they were speaking on behalf of their friend who didn't communicate
with me or say anything about me not being vaccinated but they were doing like a hypothetical
like what if yeah you don't like you know what what if my friend uh is really uncomfortable
with you coming in the house and and because you're not vaccinated and what if you gave it to
them and how bad would you feel about that I'm like listen this is what I said I remember really
well I said if it was that big of a deal to that person and that terrifying and scary that a
unvaccinated person walked into their house and was around them then they would approach or they
would have a sign on the door they would approach me have a conversation six feet away masked up
whatever in a bubble and say hey these are the house rules these are the ground rules I can't
allow anyone in here without and they would put that if it was that big of a deal to them
and so I said you're speaking on behalf of your friend that's not you're assuming that about them
maybe and again if it was if that's how they're walking around in this world in society and that's
how they're thinking and feeling about unvaccinated people it's their responsibility to communicate
that and to keep themselves safe and allow or and inform other people around them about that
okay so it's such a stupid habit that I'm just like what okay and here's my favorite thing it's
like when I was told you will probably not see your grandparents or not be able to I'm really
just airing out shit I don't care uh we all have family stuff and this this was a strain in my
family with me and and relatives I was told like basically like you probably won't see your
grandparents and you're gonna live a lonely life in a lonely existence okay and I'm like holy shit
like or no no it was like okay should I just say it was my mom my mom was kind of telling me about
this she's like you know I don't think I can come visit you anymore if you're not vaccinated
Jacqueline I don't think I can come down to San Diego and I'm like holy shit I'm like you just
went in a plane in an airport around other people you've been in grocery stores you've been in malls
you've been in public you've been living like we all have you've been around that and you don't
know what you've probably been exposed to people that are around other unvaccinated people so
why am I so do you know what I mean I'm like oh god it's just it was just annoying for me and
I guess I just assumed yeah I would get a little more grace about my decision and a little more
understanding and like it was like everyone was terrified to be around me and like freaked out
that I wasn't vaccinated and it was like like so it just seemed it didn't it doesn't make like
I'm just sitting here going it doesn't make like it didn't make sense in my brain I'm like
I don't know and my my take on this whole pandemic is um my neighbors are texting me
what's going on in the block um okay nothing my take on this whole thing is that
on both sides of the argument or the way people see the vaccine and the possibilities with it
and the capabilities and and and effectiveness and all that the way they talk about the way
they see this pandemic and how it should be handled totally fucking makes sense in a lot of
ways and on the other hand the people that don't agree and like and believe in that vaccine and
its effectiveness and all the like their reasons for it also make sense so it's just a perfect
storm of two sides like holding there they have strong constitutions what's the phrase they have
like strong um it's so fucking emotional and tribal this whole thing and i i just that's all
it is it's so like primitive this is like the most like it's bringing out people's inner
so easy a caveman can do it it's like caveman times but in 2021 just like the way people are
acting the the reactions the emotions the drama the theatrics around the virus and the vaccine
all this stuff it's just so if you break it all down that's all it is because all we want to do
is survive that's like our goal every day is people survive don't die and so pandemic rolls
through and it's a new one and it's killing people, people are freaking out. And yeah,
it's put a lot of, it's put a lot of, um, it's put a strain in a lot of my relationships.
And you guys might be wanting, you might be wondering, Hey, how do you feel? How did,
how, how are you mentally doing now that you're vaccinated and you didn't want to do it? Um,
to be honest I'm fine like I'm not I think I over yeah overanalyzed it over
overthought or over feared the vaccine but I feel fine um I was definitely tired for
the first couple days like a noticeably lethargic but
I guess I'm just kind of like relieved and now it's not going to be a hot topic with
family and friends and you know it's just gonna keep the i just did that honestly to keep the
peace am i push over am i sell out jesus christ am i a pfizer sell out is that what it's called
or a pfizer dude they got me pfizer got me they got me i actually put a quarter up to my arm
remember when people got vaccinated at first they were putting quarters where is my quarter
on their arm to see if it would like stay and like magnetize to their shoulder I don't know
should try that whatever Jacqueline you've gotten vaccines your whole life why is this scary
I don't know so I don't want to die I don't know what's gonna happen
you know I told my mom this too and this is important to talk about I was like
everything I'm talking, by the way, Hey, if you're listening to my show, everything I say
is important to listen to. And for me to talk about that's, that's the show. Nothing. There
is not a single thing I am going to edit out or like, if I over talk about a certain, or if I
over, um, if I go long on a, on a certain segment or topic, I don't care. It's just,
that's just, like, what happens, and it's perfect, it's, it's my show, and it's one take, and that's,
that's what it is, um, and I lost my train of thought, I was going to talk about,
Christ, I don't know, um,
back to my notes, oh, we went to dinner, this is, like, a quick one, we went to dinner at Top of
the market so there's the fish market it's a restaurant in San Diego here her and they have
a restaurant above the restaurant called top of the market top of the fish market and we went out
to dinner there Friday night it was great we had what did I eat do you guys like want to talk about
food I know I just talked about that Emily salmon dish I don't know I got an Australian Wagyu
uh cut of meat what am I saying guys I don't know how to be like I'm like wait can I just talk like
more why am I so like why do I have to get like that why can't I be like so we went to the top
of the market I got a steak it was so guys I'm obsessed the steak was so good oh my god like
I just don't naturally talk like that whatever um we got what was like the other stuff I got
a Caesar salad I learned that Caesar isn't from uh Caesar it's from Mexico
I guess Marilyn Monroe was in Mexico and she needed to eat and so the hotel she was staying
at or whatever the servants she had um made her a Caesar salad and that's where it came from
something like that. Uh, but yeah, I don't know what else we ate. It was great. We had
steak and vegetables and bread and butter and, uh, burrata and tomatoes. And we had like,
we ordered every single dessert. I had pistachio gelato and a coffee with like
liquor in it, liquor, liquor, um, anyways, okay, that happened, I'm just trying to check off
stuff, oh, I'm going skiing for Thanksgiving, so I grew up skiing, right, and this is what I love
about my boyfriend, like, he's, he does all of the things I used to do growing up, and those are his
main hobbies now. So like, I feel like he's reviving my, um, childhood or like my past.
Cause I, I don't, I don't get out on the slopes every season like he does, but I used to, you
know what I mean? Or I used to go hiking all the time and now I don't, but now I'm back doing that
or hiking, skiing. Um, what's his other thing? Oh, golf. He's introduced me to golf and I've
always wanted to golf and that's amazing. Um, biking. Oh, we both cycle road bike. I haven't
road biked in years. Um, he rode bikes all the time. So boom, I'm going to start doing that again.
It's great. So anyways, we're going skiing for Thanksgiving and I got to get part of me just
wants to say F it and buy myself some gear and just go all out. But I'm going to probably rent
and you know dip my toes in it again and see how I do and then kind of go from there but
just I'm such an Amazon slave oh god I shouldn't say that I'm such an Amazon like a slave to Amazon
come on wi-fi guys my wi-fi is literally yeehaw y for ease ha
I think the password is also yeehaw I can't it's not loading I was gonna look at Amazon to see if
they have like winter gear like Burton shit I don't know what's like the brands that that's
like snowboarders right um but yeah this uh coast is getting beaten right now with a storm
ski pants let's just see what pops up
yeah we got options here oh pink cute okay so I'm going skiing for Thanksgiving
god he looks me on the couch we're on the couch watching Saturday Night Live last night and he
goes he's like asking me about cooking a turkey
I don't know what that was I don't know what that was it just made me laugh so hard and
I'm just thinking about he's like how how long do you cook your turkey and I in my head I'm like
is this a riddle is this a joke is he trying to like quiz me right now and in my head I was going
when that little thing pops out that's when it's done the little y'all you guys have probably
cooked turkey with your mom before it's that little peg that you jab in it and then when it's
done it pops up what is it like four hours three hours turkey's so good dude those butterball
turkeys are the ones um but I think what we're gonna do is just get a we're gonna like we're
staying in an Airbnb and probably I don't know get like a turkey like a small turkey or a turkey
breast just like do like the little butterball it comes in a net it comes in this like the whole
things like not a net what is yeah like a net like a little uh it's like twine all around it
but it's good for two people is why I'm saying it it's like not the whole turkey
I think Jimmy's also coming along so Jimmy's first snow is happening um other notes
oh I was gonna go on Instagram and look at this account and read comments
i think at the time when i was first on it it was like funnier than it actually is but let's go to
it um it's called justin la boy it's just a bunch of like memes that are really stupid and immature
about like relationships and dating and like toxic traits and cheating and
blabbity blabbity so but the so the comments are like hilarious though on some of them
um like what was the worst or what was the craziest thing you did in a relationship and
I read the comments I think that's the one I saw and I started laughing really hard um
I didn't have this queued up so I'm scrolling here
your childhood wasn't lit if you ain't drown at least once like drowning as a child that's
just horrible but some just the way it's phrased is funny um if she's important some of them are
cheesy. If she's important to you, show her. I want to read comments. Put melatonin in
his blunts all winter. I said, let's cuddle, ho. Sometimes I'm into stupid, cheesy stuff.
I'm trying to find the one about like craziest thing you did in a relationship. I can't find
it. Okay, guys, give me, this is your seventh inning stretch. Everybody get up, bend over,
touch your toes, reach to the sky, twist back and forth. Seventh inning stretch. This is
like me trying to find a meme. Do you guys have Snapchat? Like there's a lot of memes on here
about Snapchat and that's such a, like a red flag. I feel like if anyone is using Snapchat,
stop it. That's for the kids. And it's like, even for the, I can't find anything here.
Here's something about a butterfly tattoo. What are the comments?
lies lmao this isn't a good one this is a this is a bomb a bust this is a bust
I'll admit it this is a bust um guys follow me on instagram at jacqueline monroe if you haven't
already um subscribe to the podcast I'm here every Sunday what else uh like all like every
single one of my pictures if you do that I will follow you back how cheesy guys remember like
like for a follow or follow for follow or like for like it's so weird
I'm so addicted to my phone like it's so bad we all are like if you're listening right now
you're probably addicted to your phone too I keep talking about I have these
I have these dreams and these visions for myself about like being super
disciplined and like, okay, 6 30 PM.
I'm going to stop, drop, turn off my technology,
cook a dinner in silence with no podcast.
Maybe I'll play like jazz music on my Alexa and like cook dinner and twirl
around my kitchen and then go for a walk with my dog and then sit down on my couch and read a book
and take a bath and meditate and actually I've x'd out meditating like it's I decided I'm not
that I can't I just don't do it it's not for me if anything meditating for me is working out and
like running like I've been running a lot lately but it just seems like such a way I know people
that love meditating would disagree with this but like the just like waking up and sitting on my bed
for 20 minutes and just thinking and meditating I can't I'm just like too anxious and too I probably
it'd probably be good for me right yeah Jacqueline do all of the healthy regimens for yourself or do
all the self-improvement regimens Jacqueline meditate uh drink more water what else um
cold showers, which I do. I do those. Um, whatever. My point of saying this is that
I have all these big ideas or every now and then I get really inspired and like, I'm,
I'm going to do it this week. Oh my God. And like, I just don't.
I like, I'm trying to get into reading. I've been reading more. I'll give myself that. I've
been reading more books. I'm proud of that. But like the phone don't stop. The phone is just part
of me now. It's so, it's, I like it here though. I don't hate it. I think it's probably winding my
brain up a little too tight. I'm a little too scatterbrained. Sometimes like I feel like I'm
going crazy but here's the deal I used my phone for my job so like it's hard to not be on it when
you're trying to like if that's your job you're trying to get paid if you're trying to like make
a living and you need your you need to be on social media it's like you can't there's no way
around that other than getting a different job where it doesn't require you to be on Instagram
all day so um anyways do you do you ever get like that like it's Sunday night so like let's talk
right now let's chit chat about my goals like I've noticed that when I was younger I did a lot
of trial and error with myself where I get a I get a I'd get a surge of energy like maybe I saw
something maybe I watched a documentary maybe I saw a new person on Instagram that made me excited
and something they did influenced me to want to do it too so I get this surge of energy and
inspiration in my body and then you know I'd like write out a plan and I would get so excited about
it and then I would like stick to it for like two days and fail and I would just like not it wasn't
I wasn't following through that was always my I've always had that problem with myself or I
in the past I did, where I would, I would, I was so, for whatever reason, I couldn't
stay consistent with something, and, and keep the, and, and, and never break the chain, and, like,
finish the goal, accomplish the goal, I would get, I would start and stop constantly, I get excited
about one thing one day, and two days later, get excited about something new, and it's, it was
always just like in a washing machine of new ideas and new ways of like doing my skincare and new
ways of exercising and new ways of like journaling and new ways of whatever. And what I decided,
my big epiphany in 2020 was Jacqueline, follow yourself, follow yourself. Wait, time out. You've
had all of this outside information blast in your face for like a decade with social media
and it's you're you've maxed out you you've hit information overload and you're basically
do you're you're trying to live a life the way other people are living their lives and you're
not even thinking about what, what works for me. What do I like to do? Well, you know, like I wasn't
doing that at all. I was just getting inspired and influenced by other people. And I was basically
like living other people's lives. And so I had this big epiphany. I was like, holy shit. I do.
It works for me. Like, I remember, for example, matcha popped off in like 2019, right? Something
like that, matcha, food combining, and, like, all this stuff, it's, like, a new thing, and I was, like,
I, did I, I never, no, I never got on the matcha train, because here's what I said, I was, like, I
like coffee, I don't like matcha, I'm not gonna pretend I like matcha, because it's trendy right
now, I'm not gonna try to, like, but see, that's an example of something where a lot of people, I
noticed, jumped on the matcha train, good for them, maybe they love it, but I'm just saying, like, I
noticed with myself whenever I would do that whenever I would I would adjust and adopt the
new trend or do the new thing it I just felt I wasn't I never felt grounded in myself I just
felt like I was spinning around like a top and I wasn't getting anywhere so
uh I follow myself now I do it works for me I drink coffee I don't drink
matcha what's like another example I don't overthink the self-improvement self
uh, help stuff where I'm like hard on myself about, you know, cold plunge or cold plunge
meditation, uh, fasting, read 25 pages of a self-help book a day, journal, do morning
pages, uh, sleep eight hours, uh, phone off at six 30 or whatever lights out, use red
light bulbs in your room do not use regular ones because red's better for sleep oh you gotta do
red light therapy you gotta do cryotherapy god like I'm not hard on myself about trying to achieve
any of that anymore because it's just all from Instagram it's just all from other people telling
you that this is a healthy thing to do and like a good thing for yourself but too much of that is
too much of that and it's not realistic and it's like my goal I don't know how this turned into
this conversation and I don't care. It's important. Everything I talk about on this
show is important. Like I said earlier, everything I say is fine and I need to say it.
Um, my goal with myself is to think about
the littlest amount, littlest amount of things possibly necessary and possible every day. So
because i want brain space for
like i only want to have things come to mind every day that are
essential and necessary for me to do my job efficiently and well
uh go through my day mentally well where i'm you know i work and everything but
like what am I doing when I'm just by myself doing other stuff going through my day well
um does this make sense but the bare minimum just what's necessary it's like it's just like
what's his name Greg McCowan his book's called essentialism he's got another book um it's called
um or there's a there's a a new idea in it that I really liked when I heard about the book
the path of least resistance or like choose the path of no it's not this
anyways so in conclusion let me finish this essay i'm so thirsty jimmy's asleep
all this other stuff cluttered my brain for so long and i've picked and choosed i've picked and
chosen I've chosen I have now chosen what works for me and I stick to that and I don't allow myself
to get influenced and I don't I I'm pretty I have boundaries now with social media and the people I
follow and the things I see where I don't feel so inclined now to jump that jump over to that
ship and do that new thing and I'm more like I just felt like I don't want to run around like
a chicken with my head cut off trying all this new I just don't so yeah I don't know if that
was a necessary tangent but hey do what works for you follow yourself listen to your own intuition
look within you have everything you need my mom my mom always tells me that she's like Jacqueline
you have everything you need inside of you you don't need stop listening there you have you know
like first of all you know what you need to do like if you have a goal out there you want to
accomplish if you have a dream whatever you know what you need to do you might need help you will
need help I don't think anyone's completely self-made where they get to the other side and
accomplish their billion dollar business without putting their heads together with other people
are getting mentorship and advice and having advisors and all that good stuff but I think at
the end of the day it's like you know what you need to do so just pay attention to that and do
that and I think a lot of the times we distract ourselves with other people because we want to
hear we want them to confirm what we already know was that is that insightful was that deep I don't
know am I fucking that dude but like honestly if you're gonna follow and listen to anyone follow
David Goggins and that's it that's all you if you're if you're gonna listen to one person listen
to him because he pretty much sums it up in like a one minute video of him yelling as he's working
out and I think you're gonna you can apply his advice to like everything you want to do with
your life um anyways I feel like I need to wrap this up but this is a long show it's 8 p.m
my notes are done let's recap what we talked about today I went golfing for the first time
um, Jimmy's home from Washington. Um, I got vaccinated and had a complicated time with it
in conversation. As I said earlier, I made that Emily salmon thing. That's my note made Emily
salmon thing from Tik TOK. Um, I went to dinner with my family at top of the market here in San
Diego I'm going skiing for Thanksgiving I told you guys about a Instagram that's just not just
I cut it wasn't a good segment but and then I talked about I reflected on oh my setting goals
and like self-improvement stuff oh it's Sunday night I was like oh I'm gonna set my set my goals
for this week what I want to do this week I honestly want to wake up at like 5 a.m. again
as much as I can um because I experimented with waking up and go like just getting my day going
that early and it felt so good it'd be like 8 a.m and I'm like wait I'm done like I'm wait I just
did everything and it's like only eight oh my god it felt really good and I was like I get why people
wake up at 5 a.m and now before so the only other time I've done that in my life regularly was for
well I guess you could say high school for swim practice like I was on swim team for a period of
time but in college I would do it where I'd wake up at five and I'd work out um at 5 30 but then
I'd go to class or whatever so I'd like come home get ready you know it's like a whole ordeal walk
to class where now it's like okay I'm waking up at 5 a.m I work from home I just like run through
my neighborhood if I'm gonna do a morning sweat and yeah I don't know it's like more efficient or
like feels better that I'm I love working from home I feel so blessed first of all I love my
job I love my company I love what I do I'm it's like weird how when I trace things back to how
it all unfolded it started with a connection it started with someone I knew and so that goes to
show you like you never know like when you meet someone like down the road like what that is what
could come of that and what kind of opportunities could open up for you and it's just like it's
totally like who you know you know that phrase it's all about who you know your net worth is
your network is that the business quote everyone all these entrepreneurs on instagram post that
quote constantly your net worth is your network it's like a Grant Cardone phrase I think shout
out Grant Cardone shout out real estate being the way the truth the light for a fat pocket of money
your fat bank account dude it's all about real estate invest investing in real estate to get
ahead in this country especially now those are some great options if you do it right and I yeah
last year was my like yes last year i really got my feet wet with investing and now i'm just kind
of like what the why did i wait so long so get going uh can't recommend bitcoin enough
can't recommend cryptocurrency enough i'm kidding
shit we all should have bought tesla why didn't we guys why didn't we do it when it was
why don't we do it what what was it like 2019 right but November 2019 was like when it popped
I forget whatever um that's it I hope you have a great week I hope you're happy I hope you're
healthy I hope you're fulfilled in whatever you're doing with your job with your hobbies
I hope you're really fulfilled by it and, um, you feel good when you do it, when you're around all
the people you work with or you're sitting there with your paintbrush painting something, if that's
your hobby, that's all life's about. Like, uh, you know, I haven't listened to Gary Vee in a while,
but I think I'm, I think I can recall him saying something along the lines of like
how fulfillment being fulfilled the outcome of that so the outcome of being
fulfilled and what you're doing is happiness like you can't just
yeah because if you're just if you're hating what you're doing you're not going to be happy
if you're just like empty all the time and just like going along to get along with work
you're not gonna be happy but if it like lights you up if you're passionate about if you're happy
if you're fulfilled if you feel like you're act you know what and you don't actually have to like
love it but i think if you've met if you like mentally know that this is a good career i'm in
this is a good job i have um it's not necessarily like my passion like i'm not a dj in vegas yet
but like it's a quality um job for you like that can fulfill you in itself just knowing that it
doesn't have to necessarily mean like fulfillment doesn't have to mean like you're living your
passions a hundred percent right now it's all it's ever flowing it always changes I'll say this
there's nothing like having a hobby that you love and a passion mine's podcasting alongside of a
professional career like it's just this I mean this is my fucking like let's be honest I'm here
to stay. This is my career. This is my 30 year plan. Like this is my career. I'm a podcast host,
but like, you know what I mean? Um, and I didn't really have that before. I didn't really have
hobbies. I didn't really have something that lit me up like podcasting does. So I really hope
everyone can find that for themselves. Um, it's not for, it's the thing is, is not everyone needs
a hobby not everyone needs a passion project and a side hustle like if you like going home
getting home from work and putting your feet up and watching Netflix and calling it a day great
that's fine there's nothing wrong with that I'm just saying that if you're creative if you're
in a professional job if you're in if you're in an industry where you're kind of starved of creativity
um I think those are the types of people that can benefit from
a side thing that's you know create allows them to be creative and express themselves so
ah Jacqueline in the episode I don't know how to button things up I hope you're happy I hope
you're fulfilled I hope you're healthy I hope your family's healthy I hope you're thriving I
hope you're eating your vegetables I hope you're um avoiding sugar and just downing caffeine like
me. Um, is the season bitches. It's fucking pumpkin spice season. I made a pumpkin roll.
Actually. I don't think I talked about that. I've been eating sugar. I've been eating pumpkin
products at pumpkin spice products. It's hard. You know, the holidays are a tough time to
cut the sugar, but you know, eat an apple,
mix in some fruit with the pastries okay this holiday season mix in some fruit with the pastries
fuck um I'm gonna I'm gonna open an ice cream shop I'm convinced that's coming that's that's
a topic for another time but like I'm done I'm just like yo that's my that's my that's gonna be
a business of mine someday. Like a Ben and Jerry's on steroids. Does anyone out there want to make
that happen with me? Send me a DM at Jacqueline or on Instagram. My phone number is three.
All right. Anyways, I don't know how to end the show. I don't know how to end the show. I never do
hit that subscribe button and leave a review. Oh yeah. If you want, you can leave a review on the
apple podcast app I think I have like 20 right now which is cool it'd be great to get 20 more
by the end of the year that's a dream um wow 40 reviews wow um yeah it helps me out it helps the
show out like it helps other people find out about the show and read about it and probably
tells the algorithm to uh feature me on the top charts if I have good reviews or something
what am I 4.7 damn I got one star someone gave me a one star
come forward actually I want to sit down I want it that'll be my first interview
when I interviewed Gus the person that gave me a one-star review I don't know guys I don't
have it on the show I got so much dog hair on my leggings I'm back to this lifestyle now
like I was going two months without dog hair all over me and now it's just back and it's so
it's like an adjustment mentally. Like I have to just, you get to a point when you have a long
hair dog where you ignore it, like you just, or you're desensitized by the hair and I'm just not
there yet. Um, he's a fluffy, he's a fluffy dog. Oh, I didn't talk about my morning. I didn't
update about my day at all, but we walked down to the, like the boardwalk or waterfront here in San
Diego and there's the rock and roll marathon going on and everybody loves Jimmy. I mean,
he's so cute. Right. But like, I forget how cute he is until I go in public where
everyone is like turning their heads and like freaking out when they see him because he's so
cute. And everyone's like, he said, Jacqueline, wait, I was just going to say bye and end the
show, but I'm not, I'm talking about my dog now, but everyone's like, he's such a beauty. Oh my
God. He's the most beautiful golden retriever I've ever seen. Like so beautiful. They use the
word beautiful with him. I think everyone talks about dogs that way though. Like I would compliment
another person's dog by saying it's a beautiful dog. But I don't know. Maybe I'm overthinking
it. I don't know how to end the show. Do I just say bye and then stop recording? Um,
how does Joe Rogan end his show? Good night, everybody. Good night, everybody.
um final words oh my mom bought me a bottle of tequila at Costco I'm looking at right now
should I talk about what I got at Costco like never in my life would I think my mom because
she buys me groceries she opened my fridge when did she come Wednesday she opened my front this
what she does every time she walks to my apartment opens my fridge and goes oh god
Jacqueline come on Jacqueline what do you eat Jacqueline oh honey okay we're going to Costco
or we're going to the grocery store so anyways she got me groceries I got a bunch of chicken
in my freezer right now and like a lot of snacks and crack I got these new crackers but yeah never
in my life would I would I have thought oh I'm just gonna like browse the Costco alcohol section
with my mom and she's gonna be like get whatever you want so I got some dulce vita is that what
it's called organic tequila blanco I'm stoked um shout out Kendall Jenner Jenner for influencing
me to drink tequila because of her new tequila company like I didn't ever think about like I
don't I always have to preface and say I don't drink that often or I'm like not like a big drinker
i feel like people have a drinking problem say that or they they try to like downplay it by
saying that i'm being honest like i don't for like the longest time like my average would be
like oh i'd bought i'd buy like a bottle of wine for myself for like dinner maybe like once every
two months months so that was kind of my thing and i started buying like i got whiskey i tried
that last year, I tried White Claw for the first time last year, wait, no, but then, then lately,
I'm like, oh, wait, you can, like, sip on good tequila, like, you can just sip it, and it's good,
and so, yeah, um, I'm staring at it right now, what else, what could, what else could I talk
to you guys about in my apartment, I don't know, I gotta get, I gotta get to bed, I gotta wake up
at 5 a.m., I got a big day tomorrow, I got, uh, yeah, so, ah, bye, I don't know, wait, three, two, one, bye,
should I do that, okay, wait, no, you hang up first, no, you hang up first, no, you hang up first,
okay, um, have a great day, night, whenever you're listening to this,
and I will talk to you next weekend, okay, I can't do it, bye!
Bye.
