What's up, guys? It's episode 325. Welcome back to the show.
hey what's up it's Jacqueline welcome back to the show
hi. How are you doing? How's life? What's up? Oh my God. I really hope you're doing well. I hope
you're enjoying your November so far. I hope you're looking forward to the holidays as much
as I am and you're not dreading it. Like this year, I'm so excited and I'm totally in the
Christmas spirit already. It's not even Thanksgiving yet. But yeah, I really, I just
want to send you all the positive vibes right now I never say shit like this um okay enough about
that let me cut to the chase and kind of set the mood or set the excuse me set the scene for you
right now before I get into the whole like Pete Davidson's dating Emily Ratajkowski we're gonna
talk about we're gonna talk about my new personality trait we're gonna talk about this
um stupid $50 tumblr cup thing that's circling the internet right now that's like super trendy
and I want to shit on it and bash it and say how stupid it is because I'm just in the mood to like
rant about something that um honestly doesn't deserve any of my attention but I just I'm so
irked by it right now that I want to talk about it um we're going to talk about it's Jimmy's
birthday, my golden retriever, Jimmy, he's two today. I'll touch on, um, what we did for his
birthday. Um, what else I'm going to talk about a podcast that I listened to and some thoughts
about it. Um, it's actually, let me just tell you what it is. It's Emily Ratajkowski speaking of her
and Pete Davidson. It's Emily Ratajkowski's new podcast. I have some thoughts about her episode
Julia Fox. Um, what else? And just some like general life updates. So currently, um, I'm
recording here in my bedroom, my new bedroom, go listen to the last, the last episode. If you're
like, why are you in a new place? You'll understand if you listen to my last episode, sitting in my
new bedroom, once again, on the extra firm mattress. And I'm currently fighting a spider
bite, a combination of a spider bite on my inner right ankle and an itchy spray tan. So I got bit
by a spider like 30 minutes ago and I can't stop itching it, but I've been itching my spray tan
all day also. So it's like this whole shit show of like pain and irritation. I'm dealing with that
while I'm recording right now and I'm drinking a lime LaCroix um this is yeah that's kind of
what's happening um the beverage is a lime LaCroix the vibe is itchiness and pain from a spider bite
and a spray tan um what else oh I just rescheduled ow okay I need to I'm hyper fixating on it now I
need to like put my leg to the side I just scheduled a nail appointment this is not okay
so Emily and Pete are dating um my experience of those two people is this I came across Pete
Davidson when he started dating Kim like a year ago and before that I knew nothing about Pete
Davidson and then I realized pretty quickly oh I recognize you from SNL and then I like put it
together in my head I was like okay he's this like comedy guy on SNL dating Kim and then I was like
hearing and seeing all the all these stories about from like tabloids and shit about how
he's dated like every hot like A-list woman in Hollywood and he's like that's his thing
so that's all I really know about Pete Davidson to be honest um I saw a couple YouTube
like interviews with him here and there and that's about it so that's what I know about Pete and then
Emily, like I followed her since for like on Instagram forever. She's like the hottest woman
in the world in my eyes. Like, I think she's beautiful. I think she's cool. And, um, after,
honestly, after I listened to her last episode with Julia Fox, I was like, I want to be her best
friend. And she was so real and like, yeah, I don't really get her personality from her Instagram
posts, but her podcast is really helping that. And yeah. So Emily's like a, she's like a model
actress does she act I don't know um and she's got a new book out now a new podcast out and
they're dating so apparently they were just seen and I don't know why I'm doing pop culture news
like this isn't my wheelhouse but um like I just think it's funny like of course he's dating Emily
of course and she just she just what I know about her also what you might know about her is she um
uh was she married to him or is that her boyfriend Sebastian she divorced slash broke up
with that Sebastian guy because he cheated on her and she's been single for a while
um oh yeah it was a divorce this is from us weekly here Ratajkowski has been enjoying why
oh my god literally like get it together okay Ratajkowski has been enjoying dating amid her
divorce amid her divorce in quotes she says I can tell you that I have never been single before
um I feel all the emotions I feel anger sadness I feel excitement I feel joy I feel levity
every day is different the only good thing I know is that I'm feeling all of those things
which is nice because it makes me believe that I'll be okay it's a good quote um so yeah Emily's
single now apparently they were seen in Brooklyn um sources say that Pete makes Emily laugh and
he loves how intelligent she is an insider said that um so
like I don't know how to talk about this kind of stuff I just see like headlines and like
everyone's reposting I even reposted a like meme of it so that's what you need to know today Pete
and Emily are apparently dating and let's move on so there's um hold on should I do like a quick
life update do you want to know more about me and less about other people right now I know you're
tuning in it's like my show like I usually talk about myself I told you about my stupid spider
bite on my inside right ankle and the spray tan um I joined a new gym uh that's a life update I
just joined a new gym this morning it has like a cold plunge tub thing there has two of them
so I'm gonna start cold plunging in the morning I'm gonna be one of those people I'm so excited
because I love taking cold showers and I love jumping into cold water but there's nothing like
an actual like ice bath thing that's like made for it so um I'm gonna start doing that at the
new gym also it's getting like this salt room installed it has all these amazing amenities so
I'm now so I'm gonna have two gym memberships I've never had two gym memberships in my life
now I'm gonna have two and the other gym I go to is a lot more like like polished and like bougie
and like fancy and this one's more like a down home like it's a gym and everyone there just seems
like cool I don't know or they're like cool they're like my kind of people um they're probably
like you like if you're listening you're probably my kind of people too like you're you're not the
other gyms like everyone there looks like an Instagram model or like they're trying they
really I don't know what I don't know what I'm saying honestly both gym everyone in I live in
San Diego San Diego everyone at a gym looks like an Instagram model they all look like a fitness
person. So whatever. Um, yeah. So joined a new gym. Um, I took Corey grocery shopping on Sunday
and I didn't know this. That was our first, we've been dating now for six months officially in two
days. And I didn't know he didn't like grocery shopping. So he was, we walked into Trader Joe's
and he was telling me, he's like, Jacqueline gas is entering the building. This place is going to
catch on fire like let's move it let's go and it was fun I think everything we do together is fun
and like I now love like now I want to take him grocery shopping every time because it was
entertainment like the entire way through and he kept throwing shit in the cart and I kept picking
up he got this like I'm a I'm a stickler about like canola oil okay like I know that's not good
to ingest and to like eat a lot so a lot of trader joe's spreads and like dips and sauces and things
has canola oil in it or like safflower oil like the bad oils if you want to know what i'm talking
about or if you want to like educate yourself right now go follow carnivore arulius arulius
on instagram uh he gave me a royal education like the stuffy post gave me a royal education on like
consuming those kinds of oils obviously I've known about this for a long time but Corey doesn't know
anything he doesn't really care like I do so he throws a garlic spread in the cart I read the
first ingredient it's canola oil and it was like this he was really trying to get it because he
likes that stuff and I was like it was a back and forth I was like no you can't eat this you can't
eat this next thing we know next thing I know next thing I know I'm throwing in the yellow
Thai curry sauce with canola oil in it that I've been eating for years. Like I'm a hypocrite. And
then the pirate's booty, the fucking corn chips with canola oil, the, what else did we get? Um,
what other, like, I just started noticing that other things that I commonly always buy there
has canola oil in it. So I made such a big deal about the fucking garlic spread for nothing and
I should have let them get it. And so now, now, next time when we go there, I'm just going to
say get the get it just get the garlic spread I don't it's like a garlic dip so um last night we
ate an entire block of brie cheese I got some brie at Trader Joe's we both love brie um we ate all of
it um this pirate's booty shit I hadn't I haven't had it before from Trader Joe's and it's like
sour cream and onion oh my god like you have to eat 20 of them like you can't just eat three or
like have a little who eats three pieces of anything you can't just have like a little bit
you have to eat like half the bag to feel satisfied and um they're so I mean the Trader
Joe's snacks are insane and um yeah so we went grocery shopping um I made what did I make for
him a few podcasts go I told him that I or I told you that I gave him that or for his birthday I
um bought him the biome test the gut microbiome um biome test where you literally take a shit
and send it in the mail to a lab and they tell you like what foods you should eat and what foods
you should avoid so we found out he got his results back we found out that rice is one of
his foods that he has to avoid like I when I did it rice was one of my super foods so I could eat
as much rice as I wanted and it wouldn't affect me and hurt my gut but for him it's like not it's
not working with him right now and your microbiome changes like every depending on like your
environment and if you move somewhere and I don't know how often it changes I don't really understand
it that well but um at this moment in time like the amount of sushi we've been consuming has not
been helping him it's been hurting him so now we're gonna have to like cut back on the rice
rolls and that's I mean anyways so what am I saying oh one of his superfoods this is so we've
he keeps fucking joking with me about it um he has to eat like sweet more sweet potato so sweet
potatoes I feel like a mom raising a child and I don't like to do this like mommy thing with my
boyfriend but like I'm like I catch myself so often I'm like Jacqueline he's not a kid but I
feel like I'm taking care of like a kid like with their food like a baby like they can only eat
fuck Jesus okay slow down I'm gonna take a drink of LaCroix before I get embarrassed about what I
just said I'm just gonna move on um like his superfoods are like salmon sweet potatoes uh
spinach brussel sprouts ghee like clarified butter and there's like a few other anchovies
I bought him anchovies um apples oranges yeah so anyways we went grocery shopping we bought all of
superfoods he's been eating his new superfoods all that like we've been having lots of sweet
potatoes and lots of salmon and that's been the latest with us um oh I was gonna talk about my
new personality trait I've I realized like yesterday I was like oh I'm a golf bitch now
like that's my new personality trait and all I ever post or care about or think about or like
my like aesthetic I guess now is a golf girl and I'm embracing it I'm like I'm
like, I don't, who cares? Like, I love, I love it. So I'm going to post about it, but
I realized that that's like, it's just my current phase of life and I'm sure it'll never change or
like, it won't go away. Cause, um, I'm fully addicted at this point. And I guess my golf
swing update, I didn't go to the range. When did I go? Wait, we went, we went this weekend.
I'm talking fast I'm talking real fast um we went this weekend and
uh what am I saying golf swing update I need to get to the left side
and like no I need to stop throwing my hands so in the backswing
so in the at the top of the golf swing the backswing I throw my hands which means I
like if you think of like someone swinging a baseball bat that's not I should just
explain it like a golf like in terms of golf I like throw I like try to hit the ball with my
hands first instead of like opening up with my hips so my latest thing is getting to the left
side rotating my hips and then letting my hands just like follow follow through so um yeah golf
um so and I want to get to this Julia Fox episode with on Emily Radikowski's new podcast
when I get to that segment because I have some thoughts just like I literally like wrote one
I wrote like six paragraphs I wrote like a six paragraph essay on this notes app about it because
yeah anyways um so what else is happening okay there's this new cup now I follow I love my
following list like on Instagram who I follow I follow a little bit of everything and I always
make sure I'm following basic like not that it's bad thing but like your wealthy influencer
who lives in a beautiful home and has it all and has all the, they're on all the PR lists and they
get all the things and they talk about all the things. Like I've always followed those types
and shout out the Skinny Confidential, shout out Lauren Bostic. Like she's the OG. I love
following her stuff. I always find out new about new products and things from her. And like the
thing is about i was dming someone about this the other day it's like these people drive me nuts but
i can't stop watching i can't stop following i'm addicted to consumerism and products and little
things to buy to improve my life and like hacks and diys and all that stuff and tips and tricks
like i can't help myself but like it makes me i get like um sometimes when i watch it too often
i'm like oh my god i'm stressed out they have too much shit they're always getting new products
there's always new things like I can't keep up but anyways there's this new cup it's called the
Stanley the Stanley cup the Stanley it's like a tumbler cup with a straw I pulled up the website
let me get the the specs this is the the Quencher H2O flow state tumbler the 40 ounce one wait no
I think it's the other one everyone's buying because it's $50 wait um yeah it's the it's the
soft matte okay you have to get the soft matte that's the one everyone has the soft matte nude
stanley tumbler and i saw a girl in the sauna with one of these and then i saw it on instagram
someone one of like well lauren bostic posted it and like this other influencer i follow posted
and i saw it on tiktok a few times like what the fuck everyone's buying a 50 tumbler right now
from stanley and i'm like what the fuck is stanley apparently it's his company it was a it's it was
um it was uh it came out it launched it had a debut in 1913 by inventor william stanley jr
um so it's like a outdoorsy camp cookware company and i don't know who bought it first i don't know
how this picked up storm are they i think they're sending these cups or gifting them to influencers
because it's having a moment right now i can't like this thing is everywhere on my instagram
all the time on my tiktok all the time like what is it about this cup the flow state
quencher what is it the h2o
flow state tumblr the soft matte in the color dune excuse me not nude what is it about this
Let me read the description. Let me drink some water first. Cause holy shit. This is a
fast paced episode. This is a, I'm talking fast. I'm thinking fast.
Just bear with me. Um, I love podcasting. This is making me so happy right now. I'm glad I'm
back in this groove. Um, okay. So treat yourself to trend setting. There it is.
this is a trend setting tumbler right off the bat in the description they tell you you're
going to be a trendsetter when you use this thing and that's exactly what everyone's been doing
that has one so wow um okay treat yourself to trend setting all day hydration with our
quencher h2o and soft matte the grippable silicone finish offers a stylish sophisticated look and a
warm velvety feel yet it's dishware safe with all the durability you count on from stanley
beneath the unique soft matte finish is recycled stainless steel construction
and double wall vacuumed insulation at the top is an advanced flow state lid featuring a rotating
cover with three positions, a straw opening designed to resist splashes with a seal that
holds the reusable straw in place, a drink opening, and a full cover top for added leak resistance.
We've also included an ergonomic comfort grip handle so you can easily carry your ice-cold
water to work, book club meetings, the gym, or on weekend getaways. The narrow base is made to fit
nearly any car cup holder. Holy fucking shit. I mean, there it is. The Stanley tumbler.
It's got a lifetime warranty. Um, customer reviews. Wow. People actually go on their
website to review this shit. It looks like, here's the thing. It looks like every tumbler
you go into, you know, I love TJ Maxx. You go into the water bottle section of TJ Maxx. It
looks like every single one of those it's just a it's not cute like I it's got a handle on it
it looks like my grandpa's camp mug that he would take camping or like it's always in his car
like this isn't and you know what this whole like western is it because of the yellow yellowstone
by the way new season came out not watching it never seen an episode but I feel like there's this
country western theme throughout all of the
content right now that's happening in like the in the influencer space everything's got like this
rustic vibe to it and I feel like this cup really fits that aesthetic well it's like this is a
camping cup but it's hot this is like you'll look like this is a sexy camping cup does that make
sense like does that is anyone else like getting that or do they have that kind of um impression
I think picking up that vibe from social media lately like it's a little and I was just in
Montana right and I can't really put my finger on it but it's like this bougie country western
modern, classy, uh, trend happening right now. And it hasn't always been there. It hasn't always
been there. Um, yeah. So here's the thing about trends in 2022, everything's a trend all the time.
Always that you can't, it's like, you just pick a, pick a lane and I, you know, just pick a lane
there. It's so hard to keep up, especially with fashion. Like everything's trending all at once.
everything is cool all at once it's i i don't even know like that's what stresses me out about
like walking into an urban outfitters now or like any just women's clothing store i'm like
like i remember last year or the year before is it 20 i think it was 2020 or 20 was it 2021
yeah i walked into urban outfitters and i'm like what are all these little house on the prairie
dresses like what the fuck it was the entire store was little house on the prairie themed and i'm
like why is this a trend why is this and then you walk into another store you go into like express
and it's like typical like sleek like form-fitting nice silhouette clean outfits that you can like
wear to work and stuff I don't know it confuses me fashion right now really confuses me um
what do what have I been wearing lately lately like I got some knockoff Uggs on uh Amazon
they're called fuzzy foams and um yeah I was like what the hell this price is crazy for what they
are they're actual like sheepskin and everything that the Uggs made out of but they were only like
$50 I don't really know what's going on but yeah I got these I'm wearing like those right now I'm
wearing joggers, um, a lot of like crew neck sweatshirts. Um, that's kind of my casual look
right now. Um, and jeans, I'm wearing a lot of jeans. I balled out and got like eight new pairs
of jeans recently. And I've been wearing, like, I pick a new pair every day to wear. And then I
wear like a sweater or something. Cause it's kind of cold here. Um, then like really embracing the
comfy clothes um and then like workout clothes obviously because it's kind of like what I live
in I mean I'd say 90% of the time I'm in like yoga pants and a sports bra but um yeah fashion
I used to really care about like style and like having a sense of like having a really cool style
and now it's like I just look good in everything so it's like I really don't have to try that hard
that's the truth like I can literally wear anything I want and I'll look great so um I
realized that I was over um like overextending myself trying to cultivate a personal style in
the past when I didn't need to I'm kidding um that's one moment this episode that I'm gonna
uh what's it called hype myself up I'll stop um but just tell yourself you look great and
everything and it's all about confidence like you can wear that that's the thing you can wear
anything but if you're confident while you're wearing it you'll look good you know some of the
ugliest motherfuckers like they're not ugly just like weird looking people out there go follow
watching new york on instagram that's a great account these most of these people aren't cute
but because of what they're wearing and the fact you know that they love what they're wearing
and they're confident when they're walking down the street in that cool outfit they put together
they just look good they look hot because of that so um it's all about your aura it's all
about your energy it's all about your vibe when you walk you know just chin up shoulders down and
back um yeah tell yourself what am I saying hype yourself up okay so the Stanley Cup I'm not gonna
buy it but it's just so obnoxious how I get I just cringe when I see it when I see it I'm like
oh of course you have it when it's like an influencer I follow that's like super like
and then everything they own is a neutral it's a neutral everything's a neutral I just learned that
so pine is trending I couldn't figure out like whenever I think it started with Kim Kardashian's
house I was just in a furniture store like a couple weeks ago yeah I think it started with
Kim Kardashian's like house tour or something I'm like everything in here is light like the wood is
very light and I was like now everywhere every house I've seen I'm like you know these home
tours on architectural digest like everyone's got this like light wood uh everything and I was at
the furniture store a couple weeks ago I think it was a living spaces and Corey and I were looking
at this coffee table and I asked the guy that was helping us there um I was like what's the
material and he's like it's pine solid pine and it had that like light wood look to it like all these
people are it's like whatever you know what does anyone else notice that about
homes lately like it's light wood it's real light real light pine pine trees are
pine trees are trending the stanley cup's trending neutrals are trending everything's
light and airy and breezy and zen and fucking country and classy and bougie and sophisticated
and like wear your cowboy boots and your diamonds like it's honestly dolly parton and
it's like Dolly Parton meets Dolly Parton meets I don't know like Cindy Crawford
that made sense in my head I don't know if that made sense to you okay so what else is happening
um we have a real sexy golden retriever walking down our street that's making um Jimmy look like
okay so Gunther let me talk about Gunther okay
here at my new apartment I'm living in go listen last episode if you're like
you moved what what's going on in your life um there's a lot of dogs that walk back and forth
because the beach is down the street and people take their dogs to the beach and
there's there's a golden retriever named gunther and he's beautiful he's a show dog i mean he's
not actually a show dog but he was bred to be a show dog and he is so handsome he's got he's the
type of golden retriever you see on like the dog shows on like the akc national championship dog
shows like he's got the big block head the real fluffy fur that like hangs to the ground the giant
paws he's stocky he looks like a tank um his faces they all kind of have like those faces are like
they're not jim i think jimmy my golden retriever is cuter in the face he's got a more charming cute
look these dogs are like they almost look i know that they're like inbred a million times to get
like that I'm pretty sure I was told that before or I read that one once about show goldens but um
yeah their face is like Gunther just like knows he's hot when he walks down the street it's hard
to explain like he has like an arrogant face and so like yesterday we were walking down the street
we see Gunther they said and um he's 19 months old the owner let me know he's 19 months old
and I told him that Jimmy's birthday is tomorrow and he told him happy birthday and
um yeah Gunther's 19 months old but it's just like when you put it it's embarrassing like Jimmy
was so nappy his neck was so nappy his he needed a grooming really bad like yesterday he wasn't
looking that good and this dog walks by it was like it was like embarrassing I'm like Jimmy like
holy we gotta step it up this is your potential like you could be I mean he will never look like
Gunther but the grooming this guy does to his dog or like has done is like insane and he just
makes jimmy look like like mutt from like t1 or something it's like really sad so um what did
cory say he's like gunther pulls bitches jimmy jimmy well jimmy wins him over with her personality
like pete davidson but gunther he doesn't even have to try he's getting the ladies just because
when he walks in the door he's getting ladies just because of his he's a model golden retriever
and honestly not that well mannered not that well mannered I kind of expect that just because of the
way he looks like oh that's a show dog coming towards me I expect him to be like perfect um
behavior no he's like jumpy crazy um but yeah Gunther what a name for that's a that's such a
name for a golden retriever so yeah um let me just update you on Jimmy's birthday so I had
nothing planned. I didn't get him anything. Um, I took him to the beach. He ran on the beach
and I gave him a nice bath. Um, they shut the water off here today and out of the blue,
like I wasn't notified that the water was going to be off. So, um, I took a risk. I took Jimmy
to the beach knowing I was going to try to wash him when I came back. And when I came back,
ran into the plumbers in the hallway and I said hey is the water back on they're like yeah it's
back on it's like great so I go wash Jimmy in the shower and it's fucking brown um the water
coming out look like sewer water and hashtag blessed hashtag roof over my head warm bed
hashtag uh clean like mostly clean water most times hashtag um like healthy I have my health
happiness I have everything's great I'm blessed as fuck I shouldn't be complaining about dirty
water but like it was nasty and um so yeah we went to the beach I gave him a bath the water
was brown but and I blow dried him really well and now he's sleeping on the bed next to me
like an angel and okay so Gunther that was something I want to tell you about the dog
um so
should i talk about the julia fox emily ratajkowski podcast now or should i go on instagram
and scroll around dude russia bomb or okay this is like breaking news i just saw this before i
start recording but uh russia like launched missiles of poland and two people died and
that's a thing right now so i'm fucking uneasy as shit about why that happened and what's gonna
happen next um don't know anything about it i hope it was an accident i hope that wasn't like
like, obviously they're at war with Ukraine, not Poland. So why did they hit Poland? What's going
on? Um, yeah, it's really scary. So that's like in sad news and scary news in world news, Russia
launched missiles of Poland. Okay. Also there is a, oh, tragically there's a, there's a tragic
shooting yesterday. Do I want to go down this rabbit hole of death and destruction right now?
I really you guys this isn't the podcast for that I could talk about the shooting yesterday
there was a shooting uh was it in Virginia or somewhere on the east coast it's like three
football players died I should I should um I should really like actually know before I talk
about it but I like I kind of get the gist of what happened I know there was a shooting um
it's not like a top headline on this website right now seeing it that's weird um okay
moving on let me let me talk about this julia fox
on high low high lows emily ratajkowski's new podcast i've been listening to it she interviewed
alex cooper from call her daddy and now she interviewed um and the latest one was julia
fox so i listened to it and like i said earlier i fucking love julia fox i want to be your best
like she okay go go watch her tiktoks like she is just she's so real and so cool and so like
honest and raw like the stuff she posts is like I never would expect someone like her I've seen
from like a distance on like I've seen like pictures with her and Madonna and Kanye and
like I don't really know much about her but like but but but her TikTok is like oh this is like my
fucking aunt or something like she's just so I guess the word is normal for who she is or who
she seems to be like if you see oh Kanye's dating Julia Fox you don't really know much about her and
you see a few pictures, you see a few posts, you're like, oh, she was in Uncut Gems, and she's
an actress, and like, I don't know, you think, I thought she'd be like, I didn't know if she was
like a real person, and what am I saying, but anyways, yeah, I've been following her TikToks,
I really think she's doing it right, she's really smart, she does a lot of, she talks a lot about
the patriarchy of men, and things she's gone through, and raising her son, and Emily Ratajkowski
interviewed her on earliest podcast and let me just brush up on what I wrote because I told you
I wrote a six paragraph essay I wrote I love the realness when they talked about motherhood and
raising sons so basically what I wanted to touch on is like I wrote okay how do I I want to like
say this off the cuff I don't want to read word for word because it's just like it's a little
clunky so they're both single and they're both raising boys like young boys and
Emily's recently recently single I don't know how long um Julia Fox has been single but I know
she's a single mom raising son and she's like done with men she's like desensitized by sex
she doesn't even enjoy it she said she's like I don't I'm not interested in men they offer me
nothing like I don't care I'm not interested like she has no like falling in love again and like
being with a man and like doing that isn't like interesting to her she was saying like I'd rather
like go do ayahuasca and like like learn about the universe or whatever so she's like that's her
journey right now and Emily's like single dating having fun also raising her um her boy and she
I really like when Emily was talking about how she like co-parents and like when she talked she
talked about like when she has her kid and then when um her ex has her kid it was just like so
real I'm like this is like what most celebrities you don't really hear about this kind of juicy
stuff so or like regular stuff that most parents go through so I really like that part of the
episode but so they're both in their new eras as they say or as I said on the episode of like
single and like doing their own thing and just like really being their own
coming into their own or whatever as women and
I I wrote that like okay I said I know they're sharing their life experience
their life experience with men and like dating men and being married to men and
everything I said I don't think it's cool to promote their
I don't think it's like cool and I don't think it should be trendy to promote their single woman
not looking for a man new lifestyle like that should be a thing that young girls listening
think they should want for themselves too does that make sense so I realize like they're basically
like influencers and Emily has a pop and tiktok Julia has a pop and tiktok girls everywhere like
regular girls like you and me if you're listening to your girl and you're just like I'm a regular
bitch and I'm I'm not I'm not a celebrity I'm not in Hollywood I'm not like a that type of person so
just like your everyday millennial or gen z chicks are following these two women and and they're
you know keeping up their content it's like i don't think this whole yeah
their lifestyles work for them right and they're living what what did i say i said i don't think
that should be like promoted like that's what girls should want for themselves too because
what did i write here i should just stick with the script bitch okay
i wrote julia and emirata are in the industry their whole life okay they were sex objects
their whole lives or they were seen as sexual objects their whole lives and so no wonder they
find themselves viewing men how they do now for most women like you and me if you're a regular
bitch i don't want to put my i'm not saying i'm regular but you don't like i don't mean it in a
negative way i'm just not on that on their level of like i'm in the news all the time i'm on a
magazine i'm dating kanye i'm fucking in a movie like i'm not like i'm a girl from a
i i went to okay i'm gonna just see if this do you does this resonate are you a girl out there
or a guy this doesn't sort of applies to guys too it could um i grew up i went to school i went to
school I went to high school I went to college I graduated college and I started working and I
went to work and I haven't stopped working since I'm in my 20s I work corporate jobs I work regular
jobs and I do my podcast on the side like that's my life um and yeah so for most of us like
finding a nice man is possible like falling in love finding a nice a good man that will treat
you right is possible men aren't trash men don't suck men aren't like the way they talk about men
like I understand from their perspective because of their lives they've lived and their the industry
they were in I totally understand why they feel that way they're fully like that makes sense and
I have a lot of empathy for that like that's that kind of sucks I honestly feel kind of bad for them
like now they're at this point where they're they have they're raising a son both of them are raising
sons and they're saying things like I would rather just raise this with my best friend
or my gay best friend I would rather not have a man involved raising my son and it's just like
what's like why is this even it's sad I'm like I haven't experienced what they've experienced but
I and I only can talk about myself and my experience with men and I've experienced I've
had all the like you know I've gotten attention from men because of my sexuality and just like
my appearance and like the way I carry myself like I understand that's like making them think
of me in a certain way in a like they're I know that I've been objectified I'm not stupid I'm not
like saying that's I can't relate to them on that level like of course but um yeah I just feel like
that podcast kind of like puts an idea or it could put an idea in women's minds that they
like strut around and not do anything to attract a man and like be ugly on purpose like it's a
personality trait like clearly Julia Fox's personality trait right now is like I'm ugly
and she she fully said this on the podcast I'm ugly I don't want to attract men at all I don't
want to look attractive to men and I just feel like if if that's gonna be a new wave if women
are gonna do that and like as like a trend as like a personality trait we're fucked like what's
why what's going on you know what I mean like that's pushing pretty hard uh in the wrong
direction if in my opinion um like I feel bad for them that it's gotten to that point
and I'm all about like do you live your life do whatever the fuck you want like they can
I'm not it's not like a judgment thing it's just that like a damn a lot of young women are
listening to that and because everything's a trend now because everything's like an aesthetic
because everyone's trying to like not when I say everyone I'm like generalizing and I don't want to
do too much of that but there's like the people that follow them it's like I can just I can know
I notice this from like the comments on their posts and stuff it's like they're gonna think
this is cool and this is the new wave and this is a new way to be and they're gonna start like
getting all dirty and nasty with their appearances so they don't attract men and then they're not
going to attract a man and then they're going to be sad because they're regular that what I'm saying
is regular ass chicks like myself who aren't Emily Ratajkowski and Julia Fox and don't and
don't live that kind of a lifestyle might take some notes from that episode and go oh yeah like
they have a point that yeah you know yeah true true true I don't want to be
objectified by men I'm sick and tired of it I've had enough I'm tired I'm tired
I'm tired they're gonna like start they're gonna like let it let it all
hang out and not do their hair whatever and just like go to shit because that's
like an aesthetic now like looking like letting like listen to what like Julia
Fox she can like it like makes sense for her and I get it but like I hope that
other women listening are not gonna be like oh yeah I should do that that's
cool like I should be like Julia and say fuck it and just like be dirty and nasty because you know
what's gonna happen you're gonna do that you're not you're you're gonna stay single because men
aren't gonna be attracted to you when you're like that you're gonna be putting off the wrong
negative energy out there and you might think you're happy and that's and you might be telling
yourself that because but deep down like eventually you might have a fucking coming to Jesus moment
with yourself like shit I'm single and I do want a man and I do want to fall in love and I do want
to have the fairy tale that's been sold to me my whole life that I've been fighting against lately
and like I actually kind of want that and a lot of that is innate and I think people it is for me
And, like, I get all the patriarchy stuff, I understand, like, how horrible it is for society and how it's not, it's not helping any of us, it's just, it's like hurting us in a lot of ways.
but you gotta like there's a balance to all this and if I learn anything from that episode it's
like okay Emily and Julie are cool as fuck I want to be their friend I love their personalities okay
cool but I I feel again what I said I feel bad for them because it's like they've been objectified
and looked at looked at as sex objects their whole lives and now they've kind of had it and now they
like kind of hate men and they're like oh yeah there's good men out there like julie's like yeah
there's good men i'm sure there's really good men this doesn't yeah there's like good men but i
haven't met one yet i'm like that's sad that's really sad you know they're now now they have
boys now they're raising sons and they're like over they're over men and it's just like
fuck you know that's not ideal like I in my opinion it's like
men need fathers men need strong fathers they need a male figure in their in their life that
I'm not saying that they they have dads these kids obviously have dads and they're being raised by
their dads too but like shit you know if I was a mom with in a single mom with a son like that'd
be so hard and I can see that when I when I watch Julia Fox's con like TikTok stuff she's really raw
and real about how hard it is to be a single mom and all and how like tiring it is and how
you know and I just feel like I don't really know what happened with her and and her guy
in that whole story but
I'm kind of spiraling this was a spot was this a spiral did this make any sense
sometimes I have to say thing I diarrhea through the mouth and say all these I go on all these
tangents about a topic and then I pull back the reins and then I recap and then I summarize and
I try to feed you at the end of the segment something that you can actually clearly understand
like here are the bullet points from the from the the last 15 minutes of me blabbing yeah so
Julia's not she's not interested in men at this point she's desensitized with sex she doesn't
even like sex I don't want to say that sad like that's she's her like that's that's a case by
case thing that's not like some people that's that happens some women like um but again my
The whole point of me, the whole purpose of me going off on this was to say that I just really, like, I don't know why I care so much.
But, like, what they promote, I just hope that doesn't become, like, a trend.
because it's an another trend that makes it's about men suck and I'm gonna live my life and
do my thing however the fuck I want as a woman and not care about men and honestly like I'm
gonna start looking ugly and not I'm gonna stop looking attractive because I don't like men that
much like I don't think that's good for anyone because yeah so okay how do I move on to something
new I'm kind of over this topic but I think when you when you listen to podcasts like that and you
follow influencers and celebrities like that you have to remind yourself like who the fuck you are
and you're not them and like it might be enticing and I find myself doing this a lot I already feel
like this I already feel myself doing this from watching so many of Julia Fox's TikToks it's like
enticing to like want to start acting like the people you follow and look up to and think are
cool and it's like enticing to like want to adopt their personality traits in the way they carry
themselves because it's like that's what we're all doing everyone's like copying each other already
right because of social media it's like hard not to but you have to remind yourself who the fuck
you are and stay you have to like stay true to who you are remember where you came from and you're
not them and like you shouldn't like change your ideas and what you want for yourself especially
about relationships and men because two super famous women on the internet out there had a bad
experience with men I'm gonna move on I feel like I'm rambling and I beat a dead horse there but
um I can't help myself I definitely have obvious like I obviously have these
traditional values if you can't tell I'm a very traditional like chick and the way I see the world
is that well I see or I value the traditional dynamics of um men and women and how they work
synchronistically and how they should work like I think I believe they should work that way and I
don't think they should be opposing each other all the time and butting heads all the time like
I'm in a situation with my relationship right now and and my boyfriend where it's a synergistic
flow where there's masculine energy and female energy energy working in the right way and we
treat each other well and everything's good I met a good man Julia Fox that episode was like I've
never I'm sure there's good men out there but I've never met one I'm like I've met many and
I'm dating one so I believe that yeah they should work together we shouldn't be hating on men and
I mean I get it though like I've had some rough experiences it's hard like that's what's so
enticing about this content these podcasts and these TikToks like shit girl I've been there like
I've been disgusted by men, like, one time, I'll, I don't know if I should disclose this,
whatever, I was doing, I was recording a meeting, I was taking, recording, like, a meeting,
because I was going to do meeting notes, and I left the room, and there's three men in the room,
I left the room to get, go to the bathroom, and I didn't stop the recorder, and then when I listened
to it back, I, I think this, this is still on my old iPhone, I listened to it back, and literally,
it was like oh she's got a great ass doesn't she and like it was comments like that as I'm out of
the room and it's like I heard that back and I was like ew like I'm so disgusted like fuck them
blah blah like I can't believe they just said that you know and then I'm like now looking back
I'm like I get it they're just like I don't hate men because they did that to me back in 20 whatever
or 17, like, I just get it, like, it doesn't, like, make me, yeah, but I've been treated horribly by
men, you know, I've, I've had a really traumatic, a couple years got a really traumatic relationship
that stripped me, stripped my soul, that's the way I would talk about it, is, oh, I feel like my soul
was stripped I don't know who I am anymore because of this man that's really dark and really rough
to go through and again like I've had bad experiences I don't hate men I think there's
good men out there I've met one I hope that we can look as women and as a society look on the
bright side more often and not make it trendy to or cool or like a personality trait to bitch about
men all the time it's just a just a bitch fest right now out there um yeah so I do think men
need to hold each other more accountable though for their actions and that's a whole other thing
I think that would improve things a lot if they did that because I don't think men are very good
that with each other um that's another generalization but there's it's there's a lot
of nuances there's a lot to it there's a lot to unpack I think there's literal podcasts you can
probably listen to where all they talk about is the patriarchy and men and female male dynamics
and all that stuff. And, um, yeah, so that's kind of it for the episode. Um, we talked about
Pete dating Emily Ratajkowski, the Stanley cup, Gunther, my golf swing update. I went grocery
shopping. It's Jimmy's birthday. We talked about Julia Fox and Emily Ratajkowski and their episode
together um shit you know I just I'm let me just do a little takeaway here about myself because
I like to reflect and look within like
it's hard for me to get influenced about anything or like really get behind any movement and
like I'm it's hard I'm a hard nut to crack I'm a I'm a always I'm always asking what's the word I
mean I'm skeptical and I question everything and I don't take everything as like the way the truth
like I hear a really compelling argument about how men are shit and trash and suck I don't like
hear that and go oh yeah yeah yeah oh yeah one time I had a bad experience they commented on
my ass when I left the room and I heard that back and I was disgusted yeah I hate men too
or like one time my boyfriend uh cheated on me with another girl and
uh behind my back and I hate men and men suck and fuck men like
I don't it's hard it's like really hard for me to like completely get behind and like
like, want to, like, shout and cry out about stuff that is, you know, does that make any
sense? It could be anything. Like, this Stanley Cup, I'm not fucking influenced. You know
why I won't buy it. Is that just kind of how, what is that? Why am I, like, everything that's
cool I'm like I don't like it it's like cool to follow Emily and Julia and like what they like
and think like they think about men and act like it's just like it's cool but I don't think it's
cool I'm gonna stick to my guns and what I believe I'm not gonna sway in my thinking because
I think they're cool chicks and I love their personality because I do
and I think that's maybe what this world needs more of is more
less followers and more leaders and more people that stay true to themselves no matter what
and I always try to speak from my own life experience and I
try to relay that into things I see online and things I comment, comment online, comment about
from the online world. Holy shit. And the episode.
And it's like a reference. It's like a point of reference. Like what's my life experience?
and then I'll talk about whatever subject or whatever thing I saw and then I'll compare and
contrast the two and yeah because that kind of that keeps me grounded that really keeps me grounded
and um I said this on the last episode I was like they have this individualism complex and need to
what did I write it's like on my old note episode 324
yeah I have an individualism complex
yeah I don't know I don't like to be like everyone else but it's hard not to be in this day and age
like like what I said earlier we're all copying each other you can just like see something online
and then do it too and follow suit like in an instant so yeah it's a it's the creative side
of me or like the yeah I'm creative and I want to be my own thing I don't want to
because that's it's like it's all you got is who you are right and why be like any what is this
quote I fucking saw was, like, in a world where everyone is trying to be, like, everyone else be
you, or, like, in a world where everyone's trying to change you, be, I don't know, something like
that, all the, it's a cliche, but, um, do you see yourself, like, listening right now, just curious,
like, do you see yourself as an individual, and, like, I'm my own thing, like, I'm my own vibe,
I'm my own like do you see yourself that way or do you just feel like you're just like everyone else or like do you feel like you're in a group of like there's other people around you they're just like you all the time I guess that's what friend groups are and I don't really have one and that's a conversation for another episode I wasn't influenced by a lot of girlfriends in my 20s if you can't tell that's a whole thing like I've I wrote about this before I have this whole document where
on a, I have a doc, like a Google doc where I compiled like everything I've ever written
from like high school through college and beyond. And there's a, there's a thing in there about how
I realized the reason why I am the way I am is because like, I never had roommates in college.
I was in a sorority. I didn't run with the pack girls, my twenties. I didn't have a lot of like
people, like, girlfriends around, I'm thinking of girls, because, like,
because that, I feel like, if you look at a group of girls, they're all, like, they're all kind of
like each other, all very similar, I never had that, and so I just be, I'm, like, I'm on my own
goddamn island, and, yeah, I didn't have anything to, like, compare myself to, like, that, or, like,
judge me or warp me or influence me close by like
speaking of girlfriends um I'm repairing her I'm that's a part of my life that I'm trying to
fill up um my therapist I don't know if he's a psychiatrist I don't know the difference
there's psychiatrist psychologist therapist psychiatric psychiatrist I think he's a
psychiatrist he the last time we talked he's like that's the question I'm supposed to ask myself
for like the next month is why do you think you don't have a lot of girlfriends
what about you like what is it about you why do you like holy shit oh my god and it's like I'm
just like oh I do my own I'm thinking about out loud right now I'm like oh I've been doing my
own thing I work remote it's like I'm not I mean I moved to a new city all by myself
um I didn't know anyone here when I moved here like the circumstances were not
like oh I was in a sorority in college and then I made a bunch of friends and then
you know I kept up with them after college and we do things together throughout the year
and trips or whatever and or I moved to San Diego and I had roommates and I made friends
or through roommates or whatever like it it's just kind of like oh I've been kind of doing my
own thing living by myself for the most part um not to say I don't have any friends but nothing
like I see in the movies or Instagram and there's girls trips and parties that everyone's like
dressing up for and going out to and like I really don't have that and so yeah I guess what was I
talking about oh individualism staying true to myself staying grounded yeah um
it's all good though like I obviously think it's better to have friends and a pop-in group of
girlfriends than not having it I'm I don't think I'm like above people because I'm sitting here
saying that I, I stay true to who I am and I'm an individual because I don't have friends. Like,
no, obviously not. It's just kind of my journey. And it's kind of, it's just what happened to me,
um, for me, life's happening for you, not to you. Great quote. Um, and it is what it is.
I don't judge myself for it. I don't get too deep about it or like worry about it.
Um, but I'm looking for bridesmaids if you're out there. Um, I'm going to need some bridesmaids
in a few years. So that's stressing me out currently and I got to get to it. So
Corey's going away this weekend. Um, I don't know what for, I think it's like a 40th birthday
party or something. And I'm like, shit, this is the weekend I go off with the girls, you know,
like I do things with the girls and I don't have the girls. So what the fuck, you know?
Um, that's just life though. Like a lot of, I'd say everything in my life other than the
girlfriends thing is fabulous. So I'm doing pretty well. You know, I've got it all. I've
got a maid other than that. And I think I've made a bigger deal about it, especially in the past
than it needs to be because shout out Call Her Daddy I forget what episode it was I think it was
um Alex Cooper had her best friend Lauren on one of the episodes and she was talking about
how we should like normalize going through periods of life without having a lot of friends or any
friends and not make that like a negative thing so I think I heard that like six months ago on
the episode I was like oh I'm gonna be gentler with myself and just be kinder to myself and
Jimmy he's so cute I can't believe he's two he changed my he changed my life
changed my life I was going through a dark time in 20 what was it 2021
it's kind of coming out of a dark time in 2021 when I got him got him in like January and
it's like
it makes me excited to have a baby
because like the way I feel about
Jimmy is like it's like a kid
like the love I feel
towards him is like my own son
I can't imagine what
my actual own son will feel
like oh my god
life's all about love
love and being love
and showing love
