What's up, guys? It's episode 331. Welcome back to the show.
hey what's up it's Jacqueline welcome back to the show
hi um i don't know i'm like vibing out with this fuck do i want to say i'm vibing out with this
coffee right now how i'm not even gonna stop recording right now oh my god okay i'm drinking
this extra strong cold brew stuff and um i've got all my tabs prepped full of random information
about the world going on right now. Like China's got this, uh, there's like this balloon in the
sky floating around that everyone's freaking out about like a surveillance balloon. There's this
KCM 137 radioactive capsule thing going on in Australia. Uh, Tom Brady retired. What else
we got fucking um I'm losing my eyesight that's not about the that's not a world event but it's
a personal event I want to talk about um a 40 foot whale washed up in New York
I have a throat bubble one sec
wait am I reading this right 48 makes up to 48 fluid ounces of cold brew
how many servings per container for I literally I think I'm drinking I'm I'm overdoing it here
but what's new I literally poured like three quarters of this in a cup of ice and
like buckle up I don't know what's gonna happen I'm so tired right now I don't know
the theme of the week has been I'm tired and like we're all friends here we're all cool here
I guess we're all like, if you're listening to the show, you're in the friend zone, um,
automatically, like it's just, it is what it is.
So I'm going to tell you all that kind of, I'm going to tell you all my personal business
and it's not going to be weird.
You're not allowed to make it.
It's not, don't be uncomfortable.
I'm on my period this week.
Okay.
The theme of the week is I'm tired and that's what's going on.
So, um, yeah, I'm just trying to wake the fuck up.
a couple things to announce right now it's a happy it's a it's national golden retriever day
today it's also two three wait two three two three two three two three wait february
third 2023 happy national golden retriever day happy michael jordan awareness day
happy happy Michael Jordan admiration day I don't know I saw it at the gym this morning
they were doing like a tribute to Michael Jordan because it's two three two three and uh yeah so
that's what's going on um it's Friday I'm fucking tired again what's new um yeah so speaking of the
gym. Am I even recording right now? Shit. Hold on. Bear with me. Um, speaking of the gym, I've had
a, I've had a, I've been dealing with a situation with a padded sports bra, a padded zip up sports
bra of mine for I'm gonna just say this is maybe the fifth time now this has happened and
I just haven't learned my lesson and it happened again today
and here's what's going on so I've been little miss cardio bunny all of a sudden like
for the most part I lift weights when I work out at the gym in the morning
like my routine is I wake up at five and then we leave to the gym we get there before six
sometimes we try to get there at 5 30 me and Corey but um usually doesn't happen we like
the routine is at five the alarm goes off Jimmy comes over to my side and whines I lift him up
Jimmy's my golden retriever I lift him up I like he puts his two paws on the bed he can jump up on
his own but he doesn't like he chooses not to because he's like a little he's just a little
wimp about everything so he puts his two paws up on the side of the bed and I lift under his um
like under his shoulders and I pull him up and he comes in between us we make a little
jimmy sandwich we cuddle him until like yeah 5 30 we're doing a little tiktok watching and
we're doing a little social media scrolling at this time and then like literally with five minutes
like it's always down to the wire we're trying to get there before six it's like
5 42 and we're like fuck we we gotta go so then we get up and get dressed and we go anyways what
am i saying so yeah for like the fifth time i've worn this bra at the gym a stupid sports bra i've
had the worst fucking bo to the point where it's permeating i just know everyone around me
is like, Oh my God, it smells like shit in here. Like someone has really bad VO. I'm that person.
Okay. Um, like it's okay. So that happened again this morning. I've been little miss cardio,
what am I saying? Um, lately I've been running like three times a week, three or four times a
week, which is like on the treadmill, like literally just like killing myself for an hour
on the treadmill running and I'm trying to honestly work up my endurance and my lung
like abilities because um if you've listened to the show or if you yeah like the last over the
last year I was vaping and I quit in like October and I honestly think I'm having lung issues like
because now that I'm doing cardio I'm noticing oh my god I can't deep breathe down to the bottom
of my lungs like I used to and I'm like okay is this because I just never do cardio or is this
because like my lungs have permanent damage from fucking vaping so I'm honestly like the reason I've
been doing so much cardio lately is I'm trying to like really like get my breathing back to a
good place and my vo2 max up and like I'm just really working hard on it so yeah I ran on the
treadmill in the stupid padded zip-up sports bra again today for the fifth time and I started that
I started smelling it on me and I was like, oh fuck. And, uh, Corey came in after his workout
came and started running on the treadmill next to me. And I was like, do you smell me? He's like,
yep. It's so bad. It's like, I wear, I wear old spice deodorant. Um, but it's clearly not working.
And I honestly think I keep, every time I wash this sports bra and fold it and put it back in
my drawer, I'm like, it has like a scent to it, like a permanent scent. And I think it's in the
pads I think I just need to replace the pads inside it's like permanent BO smell so anyways
um I literally after he's like yeah I smell you I was like at that point I was thank god I was
done with my run I think I ran like a little shy four miles today and um yeah as soon as he said
that I like I ran into the locker room I grabbed my gym bag I went into the the shower and I like
did a little my grandma calls it a bird bath it's when you take a washcloth and you like do a bath
like you wash your stinky parts with a washcloth instead of taking a full shower so I like
wetted my little sweat towel I used the shampoo in the shower they had and I like literally scrubbed
my entire upper body and I was like okay then I did that and then I dried it and then I reapplied
my old spice deodorant I use the pure sport one I don't know to be honest the reason why I think I'm
um stinky also
is because you know what pisses me off this is this is a side tangent when I was vegan I was
vegan for like three years I always like round up to three years if you add it all together I don't
think it was all at once it was like two years and a little break then I did it for like another
year anyways when I was vegan and I was eating a lot of fruit obviously no meat no animal products
I remembered I distinctively remember um that I didn't I did have BO during that time like I
didn't have any perspirations stinky scent coming out of me and I'm like maybe there's something to
that I don't really know the science I don't really understand um what's going on there with
body odor and and your diet but like I'm like do I need to start cutting back on hot sauce like do
I need to start okay do we I eat meat like every day like is it honestly the reason why I think I
smelled is number one the bra is permanently this is not I'm not talking about Tom Brady's
retirement I am not talking about his retirement I'm not talking about the radioactive capsule the
chinese surveillance balloon i know those are the hot topics of today but like i gotta get my
personal details out of the way first like this this is called the ifbo and i stink like a fucking
uh high school football player who just finished his uh local playoff game um
jesus christ
again everyone's in the friend zone if you're attracted to me if you're a girl and you know
you're you think I'm cute if you're a guy I don't know like if you're this is like the biggest
turnoff ever just like me just telling you hi I'm hi my name is Jacqueline I've like when I get in
the car Corey has to roll his window down and he's like holy it's like he's got like I'm gassing him
out that's how bad it is and I know I can smell it on myself that's what's so fucked up I smell
it on myself that's when you know it's bad so like I I put to you so the problem was this morning
which I finished the shower story I like did my bird bath reapply the old spice
and then I had thank god I had a backup sweatshirt in my duffel bag so I like put that on
and then when then I went and sat sat in the sauna again um but speaking of sauna the reason
why I think I had bad BO this morning is because I was freezing
San Diego's cold as fuck right now pisses me off I did not move to California I did not move to
California for these cold mornings like I don't mind a little chill but like it's like I'm in
another state it feels like I'm from Washington state it feels like yeah getting up in the morning
in Washington and going to the gym it's well that's a lot colder honestly but like still um
so I'm cold as fuck this morning. I go to the gym, do my little check-in with my little key fob
scanner thing. And I have my Alani energy drink. Oh my God. So like I drink Celsius energy drinks
before my workout, but the Alani energy drinks are on another level. So I'm drinking that.
And, um, this is like my gym routine right now when it's, when it's cold, I'm drinking that.
I'm drinking my big jug of water. Um, excuse me, not my jug, my Stanley tumbler.
my beautiful stone I think the color stone matte Stanley tumbler I'm drinking that I got my
headphones in and um my my phone so I go into the sauna with all this shit I'm warming up and I
start sweating pretty bad honestly because I'm in there for like 20 minutes just trying to get my
body warm before this run and I go oh fuck I forgot to put deodorant on so what I'm getting to here
this is how I like to spend my time like Jacqueline what's your passion like what's
your favorite thing to do it's like hi I like to podcast and talk about the minuscule like
random details of my life and how I go to the gym and I have BO and I smell like shit and like
it's so fun I don't know why this is like therapeutic it's fun it's like I guess
entertainment for you not I guess I know it is if you're still listening first of all if you're
still listening please hit that subscribe button if you haven't already um and review the show
it helped me out if you reviewed me on Spotify uh if you go to my the Jacqueline Monroe show
on Spotify you can click one through five stars there's like a little review button um
honestly this is like a this is like a lukewarm three and a half right now it's gonna spice up
once I start talking about um China and like their surveillance balloon I think this will
turn into a five-star episode but like right now I'm feeling like yeah lukewarm three and a half
but um yeah again please subscribe if you haven't already and uh review the show and if you want to
support my podcasting career again this is my passion this is what I'm doing forever um literally
I'll be like 87 doing this like I don't know what the future of podcasting looks like but like
I just want a career my like if I had to pick out a long-term career for myself it's this like
straight up so if you want to support my podcasting career head over to
head over to patreon.com slash tjms patreon.com slash tjms it's five dollars a month it's my
little subscription service uh your support means everything thank you very much all right um
so yeah I realized I was sweating after like 20 minutes in the sauna and um
I was like fuck I didn't put deodorant on so I think the that's why I stunk honestly too
like the bra plus sweating and then putting I remember putting the deodorant deodorant on
the old spice pure sport scent it's like not an antiperspirant just like I think it just smells
good smells fresh I just I remember putting it on and it's like mixing with the sweat and it was
just like sliding everywhere I'm like this isn't even getting on my skin like this isn't gonna
work and it didn't so um 20 minutes into the episode uh all we're doing is talking about bo
happy fucking friday happy jordan michael jordan day happy national golden retriever day
so
yeah i'm gonna get to the news and shit but another so my other personal
personal business update um because like this show is the Jacqueline Roche I'm talking about
my life there's always like there's always a moment where I'm talking about me and there's
always going to be moments where I'm talking about the world around me because like that's
the fun part for me is as a host like tuning into google.com or checking in with cnn.com
or all the new sites and seeing what's going on in the world like that's fun and I get to take
you along with me so there's like a lot going on in the world and we're gonna get to that but
I am going blind that's the next thing I need to talk about so
another day has passed where I
wind down for bed take my shower
um take my little shower do my little skincare routine brush my hair
Hold on. What are the dogs doing right now? Louie? Louie? Lou? I can't find Louie. Louie?
He's literally passed out in his crate. Like, bitch, shut the fuck up. I'm trying to sleep.
I thought he was like, I don't know. I thought he opened the door and walked outside. Like,
okay, obviously he's fine. So yeah, do my little skincare routine, brush my teeth,
get ready for bed shower whatever another day has passed where I um get into bed turn the tv on
and browse Netflix and you know how there's like a movie title and there's a little description
underneath it okay I'm working with a I'm gonna put it at I'm not really a technology nerd but
like I'm gonna put this TV at like 60 inches 65 inches that's what I'm working with and the font
is okay so like the font in the okay what am I saying there's a title for the Netflix movie and
then there's a little description another day has passed another day has passed where I look up at
that description and it's fuzzy and I can't read it I can read it but it takes me time I'm
I'm not even 30 okay what the fuck and I mentioned this on the last episode there's so many things
I am aware of that are bad for me like screen usage like staring at your phone in a dark room
like staring at a screen all day it's like ruining your eyes like staring at the sun for 10 minutes
a day i don't actually do it like i i'm aware of things that are bad for me but i do them do them
anyways for example this is a thing i caught myself doing um we're already on a new tangent
i'll go back to being blind but like i caught myself buying a body scrub it's called like tree
hut um you can get it at like cvs and shit it's just like a it's very it's not a brazilian bum
bum cream like what's like a fancy Laura Mercier bath cream it's not a
like a fancy Sephora brand body cream like this is like bottom of the bottom of the barrel
like Walmart CVS um body scrub and I caught myself while I was grocery shopping uh
in the little toiletry aisle and I uh picked up a tree hut vanilla bean
uh body scrub and first of all what I'm getting into is I scrub that shit all over my body
that night and I just as I'm doing it I'm like I know this is getting into my uh
blood this is like poisoning me this is like not good for my skin like I know this is like
like the chemicals in this are so bad the colors the dyes I know the little like gritty stuff in
it is like tearing up my skin it's actually like ruining my skin it's not actually softening it
it's like it's tearing up it's like micro tearing i because i know too much i know that i should be
using like salt or or just plain sugar and honey and like natural fucking exfoliators like i know
that right but here i am in my shower steaming hot shower scrubbing my body down with vanilla
bean tree hut fucking body scrub it's like i know better i do it anyways and just like the
screen usage staring at my screen I know that's not good for my eyes um I do it anyways you know
and here I am not even 30 uh needing needing glasses I guess or like I need to get my eyes
checked for real um it's just wild like we'll I'll watch like we've been watching basketball
football here on the tv in the living room and I'll be in the I'll be in the kitchen and as a
test I'll be like Corey I'll be like okay I'm gonna read the score right now or I'm gonna read
how many seconds are on the play clock or whatever and I literally can't I get it wrong every I can't
even fucking read it because it's so fuzzy so I need glasses I definitely need to like
get my shit together and make a doctor's appointment an optometrist appointment
um yeah so shit uh I smell like shit I BO and I'm going blind what else is new um I'm trying
to think of like other bodily issues I'm having um yeah that's kind of that's kind of about it
to be honest is it are you is anyone else out there going through that like I thought I'd be
40 when this happens but if you if I had to really think about it I'm like okay but
because I'm a millennial who's addicted to my phone and I work on a computer all day and because
I have no self-discipline around my screen usage and screen time admittedly like I just have it's
just like my I'm cross to bear like again no it's bad for me don't do anything about it I'm just
i'm rolling with it i'm like you know what i mean like i i was
was i listening to what episode was it i think it was a lex friedman joe rogan episode he was
talking about like people with a cell phone social media are like addicted and like feel
like your screen time it's like it's just a thing like we all are like i'm not gonna
try to pretend like i i'm good about like being off my phone i'm really not um it's weird like
I'm really disciplined with work and my phone like I do what is it called a pomodoro pomodoro
timer pomodoro break I do I tell my Alexa to do like 20 minute or 25 minute um I do a timer and
I work I go hard and then I do like my little five minute break I'll like foam roll I'll get
some water I'll go I'll go take a go to the bathroom go take a leak go take a shit um I'll
check my phone usually in that time and then I put it back on the charger in a separate room and
then I go back to work so like I'm really good at that but end of the day stuff like yesterday I was
I remember this is so bad Corey had a little like event thing yesterday and I
was he came home at like seven so I'm pretty sure from like five I walked Jimmy and then like
for like an hour and a half I was on I online shopped on pretty little thing then I was on
my Sephora app online shopping for makeup shit um because I need I have these gift cards I'm
trying to use and I'm so I can't pick shit out like I have these gift cards and I keep putting
stuff in my cart and on my wish list but like I can't press buy on any of it it's so so like
literally for the last since Christmas I've been working on my little like wish lists and like
stuff I want to buy and so like a few times a week I'll like go on my pretty little thing it's like
it's like a boohoo or a what's it called like a um fashion nova type website that's called pretty
little thing I'll go on those I'll go on those sites and I'll in Sephora and then I'll yeah I
won't buy anything but I'll just sit there and like stare at clothes and stare at makeup and like
anyways I was doing that last night and then I had then I was on Lightroom trying to like make my
new golf picture post look right and I was trying to get the colors because there was like a sunset
I was trying to like make the colors look nice just like staring at that for like I don't know
20 minutes. And then I was doing like this auto caption thing for one of the videos I posted with
that post. And then I was just like on my phone and then Corey came home. I was so like, I had my
face in my screen for so long. It felt like when he came home, I was like, he was talking to me
about someone he met something big that happened at this event. Like something I was just like
zoned out. I wasn't even focused. Cause my, my eyes were like, it's, you know what I mean? Do
you ever catch yourself like that with your your phone where you're you're so locked in and then
when someone starts talking to you you're like I just need to like go take a walk first and then
come back and like go back to go back to the real world then I can talk to you so um I have issues
hi my name is Jacqueline I have BO I'm going blind and I'm addicted I'm addicted to social
media and my cell phone. Um, so yeah, I need to get my eyes checked. I think we're off that topic.
Let's talk about Tom Brady's retirement. Um, or so here's what I have. I have chat GBT
verify you are human. I have this pulled up right now. Chat.openai.com. I feel like the website
doesn't work because everyone's trying to use it i haven't used it yet and i really want to try it
on this episode but i don't think it's gonna work honestly so we'll move on um let's talk about tom
brady of tom brady chow gbt the chinese surveillance balloon the missing radioactive
capsule in australia australia that was found um i have a spiral thing in the sky that was over
hawaii like a spiral comet looking thing ufo looking thing i don't know and then the wash
up whale in new york so i thought it'd be interesting to talk about tom brady's um
um, retirement. Are my, let me look at my analytics right now on my, on my podcast.
Cause like I'm trying to be for the girls now and not so much for, I'm trying to
recruit or, uh, I'm trying to gain more female listeners, female. I'm trying to gain more,
um, chick, chick listeners. I'm trying to gain more women, girl. What am I saying?
what do you want to be called if you're a if you're a woman out there what do you want to
be called i'm trying to gain a i feel like when you say female audience that makes sense women
audience girl audience i want more i want to be for the girls not the guys okay because i think
my ratio is like at one point it was like 80 20 80 men and i think that's because of instagram
and i'd promote my show there and then obviously like that was my my ratio on instagram and then
carried over to my podcast um audience oh shit 63% of people listen on Spotify 30% on Apple
um it's cool to see the countries shout out to my Czech Republic listeners
shout out to my Nigeria listeners my Bulgaria Turkey Mexico Sweden Thailand South Africa
denmark yemen singapore philippines um u.s and canada are my top those are my top two countries
montenegro uk germany it's crazy to see all these um gender oh fuck oh fuck wait wait no
i don't get your shit wait hold on is this for every episode right now what just happened
female 94.2 percent male 5.8 I haven't checked this in like
maybe like a few months that's like bad as a podcast podcast so I should know my numbers but
like I don't know it's it's probably been like a few months 94 percent female 5.8 percent male
let's go okay so hi I feel like I have a lot of new listeners out there
is that accurate wait holy shit biggest person so 28 to 34
87 these uh graphs look a lot different than what i'm used to is this for oh the last 30 days
okay let me do all time let me do all time so 94 of women uh uh women to men
five percent men ninety four percent women all time though let's look at all time
um
fuck 69.4 percent male 29.9 percent female
shit so that's getting better it used to be like 80 20 um
and then Spotify it's only 35% all-time 52% Apple cool um how did I get here I'm trying to okay
so like oh I was gonna talk about Tom Brady and I'm like oh this is for the guys or like
this isn't for the girls but I don't know I know a lot of girls that like football
um I do I don't know why I said that um
why do I have to make everything why do I have to overanalyze the fuck out of everything I talk
about like why you know what I mean like Jacqueline just talk and just like who cares okay
I'm just trying to like
okay Tom Brady fuck I'm yelling um
tom brady ranks first all time okay that's not how i wanted to read it here tom
oh my god it's you know what it's the cold brew i apologize it's the cold brew
um okay so tom brady ranks first all-time in wins 251 wins pro bowls 15
super bowl super bowl mvp awards five uh completions 7753 attempts 12,050
passing yards, 89,214 passing touchdowns, 649. Fuck. So, um, Tom Brady greatest of all time.
There's his first place rankings. Um, yeah. So anyways, if you're not familiar or like,
I'm sure you've seen it. He like posted a video on the beach. He's like, hi, I'm done for good
or whatever so he's retiring for good he started getting all teary at the end um that was this week
so um he's Brady's a seven-time Super Bowl winner who ends his career as the NFL's all-time
leader in passing yards touchdown passes yeah we just read that in the postseason he leads in
appearances do we care about this game started wins Super Bowl appearances Super Bowl wins
completions passing yards he just he's the best at everything pretty much here well
I don't know I honestly have no clue there's like
like what about um
wasn't Donovan McNabb a good quarterback too is he at the top in any I'm just kidding
now that the Eagles are going to the Super Bowl and like the only thing I know about the Eagles
is one time my brother had a donovan donovan mcnab jersey when he was in like third grade or
some shit and he really liked the eagles because of donovan donovan donovan mcnab and i think it's
because he played like um not nba live 2005 what the fuck was the nf madden he played madden and
like that was always the team you used or picked i don't know so yeah um go kansas city um always
I will always root against the Eagles um let's see so yeah Tom Brady retired that's what that's
all you that's all you need to know for good he's done for good and he's the grace of all time and
those were the top those were his rankings or first place rankings 251 wins is completions
like when he throws a pass and it gets caught I feel like that's what that means um okay so
this is some crazy shit there's this balloon over China or not over China
I think it's over Kansas right now um there's this they're calling it a Chinese spy balloon
it was seen a suspected chinese spy balloon hovering over the u.s
passed over northeast kansas on friday afternoon according to senator roger marshall
as defense officials remain tight-lipped about where they believe the balloon might travel next
numerous photos posted on social media suggested the balloon moved through the kansas city area
friday afternoon while the crew of a private jet flying over the city reported a sighting of a
derelict balloon derelict's my favorite word derelict what's the actual definition of derelict
derelict uh in a in a very poor condition as a result of disuse or neglect that's a
that's a word my i don't know my sister whenever i think you see the word derelict derelict i think
of my sister Julia she's always I don't know she always uses that word um shout out um if you're
listening um she calls me Clancy that's like another random fact um my sister calls me Clancy
Clancy is my nickname um yeah so
so anyways there's this like Chinese spy balloon it's now over Kansas I think it was originally
spotted over montana yeah the balloon was spotted over montana on wednesday after moving over
alaska's aleutian islands and then passing through canada according to the pentagon
defense officials have not said whether they believe the balloons movements are being controlled
or whether it is drifting with the winds but for now its path across u.s appears consistent with
atmospheric flow what to watch for this is from forbes.com if the balloon is drifting on its own
it should have it should move near St. Louis on Friday night before pushing eastward into
North Carolina on Saturday according to a Washington Post analysis of steering currents
I love fucking technology like the fact they can just like pinpoint where this thing's drifting
because of like the wind patterns like that's pretty cool you know what I mean it's 60,000 feet
high uh that's it's but the balloon's altitude so like my question is what's it spying on and
you know what I mean it's like drift it's moving pretty fast is there a camera in it or something
like it's survey it's surveillancing surveillance I'm thinking of cameras it's got some sort of
thing in there that's tracking or watching or sort of spying it's a spy balloon like um
officials have said that they are certain the balloon was sent for surveillance
but they have chosen not to shoot it down oh shit um
yeah like i need a why like why you know like it looks like
let me type in chinese surveillance balloon
how's your how was your week i hope you i hope you had a great week
um it's friday like some people get paid on fridays um is it your payday i don't know
i hope your bank account's fat right now um maybe maybe not maybe it's not but like i'm
I I'm manifesting or I'm praying what am I doing right I'm I want to wish you a fat bank account
for 2023 that's my that's my dream that's my wish for you listening right now um fat ass fat bank
account fat um I don't know what else would be fat that I'd want fat brain full of knowledge I
like read some books what am I saying Jacqueline get off the fucking caffeine chill out like
it's kind of bad right now I have heart I honestly think
this happened yesterday too like I started getting like a a weird palpitation or like
it wasn't like my heart it was like the muscles around my chest were twitching
and I don't know if that's because I did push-ups for the first time in a long time or because of
caffeine but like I this is going away I just want the best for you that's what I'm saying I want
I want you to flourish flourish this year you got one life okay if you're struggling figure
the fuck out that's my only advice figure the fuck out it's on you it's your fault um
take accountability you just have to get really like I don't know how to talk about
live in a good life if you're down and out without being a hard ass and being straight up like
there isn't I don't there's no way to sugarcoat or like I'm not gonna sugarcoat it like
in my experience like how I lived or how I have learned to live a kick-ass life is like going
through the trenches with yourself getting really like straight up and squaring up in the mirror and
getting really honest about where you're slipping where you're being um lazy like blah blah blah and
I yeah figured it the fuck out and I took accountability for my actions because it's
literally at the end of the day if you're down and out it's on you um so just like
it feels good to own up and like get real with yourself and instead of like wallowing in your
shit and feeling like a victim and feeling sad about yourself like it's empowering to just be
like i suck at this i'm lazy i don't work out i work out once a month like i don't eat healthy
i've been eating cheetos for the last seven days in a row like i have a problem or like i
whatever it is like just fucking say it out loud and do something about it it feels great
um because you're not hiding from it you're not like pretending like it's not there you're just
being like you address it and you do something about it so um yeah uh how do you how i don't
know what was i saying why is there a balloon over the u.s why is there i don't think i can
continue this episode i don't think i can do it oh fuck i'll do some life advice at the end i feel
like I always talk about like how to figure your life out and be a kick-ass human being I always
talk about that shit at the end oh my god eyelash in my eye I don't know if this is a compliment but
like in the early days of podcasting started this in 2020 I got a lot of like you have crackhead
energy comments and that made me feel like I'm annoying to listen to so I apologize I know what
just happened there and we're gonna like pull the reins back and chill out um
yeah just I want you to be coachable when I do the like life advice segment at the end I want
you to be really coachable and take like what I'm saying to heart because um
yeah just like sometimes people need to like
get in your face and tell you like it is and i'll be that person for you just stay tuned to the end
um it's not abusive it's it's actually full it's out of love like um what's it called
uh constructive criticism right like that's that's good shit you need that sometimes you
need hard knocks straight talk uh yeah what's it like what's the phrase you can't bullshit a
bullshit no what am i saying oh my god jacqueline talk about the chinese surveillance balloon
so like why is this balloon over the u.s that's what i don't get
what does people ask here on google
what does a chinese spy balloon do
it is a civilian airship used for research mainly meteorol
meteorological purpose purposes
so it's for like weather it's a weather balloon
what is the spy balloon doing
um
i don't know i'm trying to get a good why here not really coming up with anything
pentagon tracking suspected chinese spy balloon over u.s
what is a spy but i'm just gonna google that what
is this sorry if i'm being annoying
actually i'm not going to apologize just
it's a it's a piece of spying equipment for example a camera suspended beneath a balloon
that floats above a given area carried by wind currents what's it looking at that's what i don't
get what's the purpose oh here we go cnn.com what is a suspected chinese spy balloon doing above the
U.S. But what's less clear is why Chinese spies would want to use a balloon rather than
a satellite to gather information. This is not the first time a Chinese balloon has been
spotted over the U.S., but this seems to be acting differently to its previous ones. It
is appearing to hang out for a longer period of time this time around and it's more persistent
than previous instances
i don't know it's looking for something it's like i just never this is the thing it's like
jocelyn do the research then talk about the topic it's like no i'm just gonna like move on to the
a radioactive capsule in Australia because like it's it's a spy balloon it's it's China spying
on the U.S. like are we surprised no you know what I mean I'm not surprised I don't know what
like what's it gonna find like cornfield it sounds like it's in Kansas right now like
what's it gonna find in Kansas what's it looking for you know is it it's it sounds like it drifts
through the wind it's got a camera on it it drifts through the wind and it's not like they're
steering it around it's not like they're controlling it it sounds like it's yeah
blowing through the blowing with the wind and it's gonna be in St. Louis or some shit or North
Carolina soon it's like this is one of those headlines it's like here today gone tomorrow
you know what I mean it's just it's just some shit to talk about I think someone got it on video
so like it was a social media thing i think the person in montana that saw it like
there was like a video of it anyways okay so there's this
do we want to talk about
the spiral in the sky because that's fucking crazy
i kind of want to talk about this and then the radioactive capsule
i just changed my mind we're gonna talk about the radioactive capsule so um
yeah i saw this i don't know if like bloomberg posted i always i always see bloomberg
instagram posts like news headlines and shit so there's this radioactive capsule this like
small little did they say how big it was it looks like a thimble
like um a thimble is that what it's called you put on your thumb when you're sewing
like it looks it's like a little cylindrical capsule the size of
like a chapstick maybe like half the size of a chapstick um I don't see the specs on this
how big it is it's like finding it so basically there's this this week there was a radioactive
capsule missing in australia that fell off a truck that was coming from like a mine
it was transporting stuff from a mine and um
let me just read this
authorities scanning a remote australian highway is it annoying here's my question for you listening
um i do a lot of like article reading on here where i'm just going word for word on these
websites and trying to think do i listen to podcasts where they read out loud like that and
is it kind of annoying like i'm not i'm not i'm not like paraphrasing any of this i'm just like
I feel like I'm pretty good at reading though um I'm just trying to catch up with what's going on
right that's why I'm doing these topics today so I kind of need to read this out loud to really
understand it basically this little fucking capsule radioactive capsule I'm trying my
question again so why was he why was think before you speak think before you speak slow it down
take a breath check your pulse take a deep breath um i blame vaping for my behavior today because i
i can't deep breathe and that's accelerating my heart rate and causing me to uh be scatterbrained
and actually it's the caffeine that's constricting my blood vessels right it's that too fuck me okay
so like there's i'm like why is there the why is the balloon over the u.s why is the spy balloon
over the u.s and also like what happened my other question is like what happens if this radioactive
capsule wasn't found would radioactive matter leak out and then cause destruction like what
would happen is that like people that what was that place in Washington Hanford and they made
the bomb the Hanford the atomic bomb like their radioactive shit was like causing cancer and like
if you get that on your body I don't know it's like gonna cause problems right so
i'm guessing that's why they were so worried about this um so here we go brisbane brisbane
australia authorities scanning a remote australian highway for a tiny missing radioactive capsule
have found it by the roadside after a challenge challenging search likened to trying to find a
needle in a haystack state emergency state emergency authorities announced the discovery
on wednesday afternoon six days after the capsule containing highly radioactive caseum 137 was
discovered missing from a package sent hundreds of kilometers from rio tinto from a rio tinto
mining site in northern western australia to the capital perth perth locating this object was a
monument monumental challenge the search groups have a have quite literally found a needle in
the haystack um the capsule's disappearance sparked a massive search of the highway with
specialized radiation detection units and and prompted warnings to the public not to approach
the capsule which could cause serious burns on contact with skin yeah that's what i think of
when i think of like radioactive matter like it's just gonna burn your like a little drop will go on
your hand and then your entire body will like burn apart like it'll just spread and just like i don't
know like um oh here here's the here here's the specs authorities believe the capsule about eight
millimeters high and six millimeters round somehow fell off the back of a truck it was being
transported on okay yeah so anyways there's a small little radioactive capsule that fell off
a truck in australia coming from a mine and going to the capital perth and it was found so moving
on um i literally like like what do we want to know about um caseum 137
do we want an educational segment on that right now um because like what is it you know what is
caseum 137 caseum 137 or radiocaseum is a radioactive isotope of caseum that is formed
as one of the more common fission products by the nuclear fission or of you of uranium of uranium
235 and other fissionable isotopes and nuclear reactors and nuclear weapons trace
quantities also i'm not a scientist i'm gonna fuck shout out to the people i'm in charge of all this
like um it overwhelms me how much there is to know like the amount of information
like just look around you right now like there's so many little things and so many like
like I'm looking at my makeup I'm looking at my cold brew I'm looking at my computer I'm looking
at my books like my cameras and I'm like there's just so many little pieces and someone had to know
how to make those little pieces and study those chemicals that go into that makeup and create
those formulas and that like they had to like learn all this in the camera they had to know
how to make the little microchip for the little or the little um sd card thing like they had to
study that and just like think of all the brain power it took to make the things around you like
that's crazy I don't know it overwhelms me because I'm like what lane do you pick what
lane do you pick like someone decided I'm gonna work with radioactive material and I'm gonna study
that and put casein 137 into little capsules like what the fuck you know I mean the lane I picked I
I mean I got my degree in PR I'm working in PR right now um it's pretty like honestly a monkey
you can do it it's like not that complicated like it's communication it's it's talking back
and forth with people it's pretty much what I'm doing here right like just conversations over
the computer and in-person meetings like pretty simple stuff um honestly like when I really think
about my job I'm like like there's a little there's like you gotta have some there's
I guess it's like there's like you gotta have a little finesse about the way you do it
to like get the job done properly but for the most part it's pretty basic um like when I think
about it do I need a did I need a college degree to get my to like to do my job because honestly
taking communication courses in college to get my bachelor's degree like it's literally like
sitting in I just remember it was all the classes were like so vague it was just like obvious
information that was like between all the types of communication classes I took it was like obvious
information I already knew that was like eloquently spelled out and put into different lesson plans
from the professors and like I was tested on it it was like obvious information I already knew that
I was studying and just like regurgitated in a bunch of different ways like persuasion
interpersonal communication foundations of public relations and like how the media works with
brands and companies and like that dance between the two and like how to pitch the media and like
how to I don't know it was kind of like it wasn't that hard to learn I guess so when I think about
my job now I'm like did I really need college to do what I'm doing now probably not just being
honest it got me the job the thing is like if I didn't have my degree I probably couldn't I don't
think I would have been hired right it's a lot I feel like that's a case for a lot of um companies
like that's a prerequisite that whether you like it or not you got to have to even get into the
door for the interview um so Corey just texted me I want to say what I want to talk about what
he's texting me but I I'm I'm gonna not talk about it publicly I'm gonna be disciplined right now
I'm not talking about it publicly um it'd be fun to talk about right now but I'm not going to
I really want to should I fuck um okay so the capsule is found the balloon is drifting in the
wind and the spiral over Hawaii is strange and I want to read about it because it's like okay
I don't know if you saw this but there was a video coming out of Hawaii
they're calling it a mysterious whirlpool spiral flying over the hawaiian sky and
it's like out of this world like i don't like okay what was this found in a telescope
um the subaru tell the official twitter account of the subaru telescope
an optical infrared telescope operated by the national astronomical
observatory of japan guess what the source of the phenomenon might be
oh shit why did i think this was something cooler than it or like
more out of this world an alien than it actually is i never saw it okay so they're saying um
so they guess what this phenomenon might be and they're saying the spiral seems to be related
to the spacex company's launch of the new of a new satellite fucking a it's always fucking
it's always SpaceX making shit look weird in the sky I got so hyped when I saw this this
looked like something I've never seen like I've never seen something like this um it's like a
shooting star that turned into a spiral um the Elon Musk own company live streamed the Falcon 9
rocket launch of the global positioning satellite three space vehicle of six mission earlier that
day on the next day SpaceX launched more than 50 Starlink satellites to orbit from California
video show the bluish spiral passing oh fucking it's just like that one time
remember when everyone was freaking out when they launched her they launched a
a rocket or a satellite over la and it was like it looks so crazy this is just another one of those
huh it's cool if you go go look up the video like type in like spiral
over Hawaii um I saw a shooting star two nights ago and you know it's kind of
I have this thing with shooting stars um it's crazy like it's it's so great like
like I know you're on that jersey right now like just bear with me um
I'm like frustrated with myself and my energy today I'm like oh my god just spit the words
out get it right this is my struggle I'm taking you through my struggle as a podcast host like
I get so scatterbrained and just like jacked up on caffeine obviously and just like my thoughts
are going 100 miles an hour and I try to speak things I try to say things eloquently and then
sometimes it's just like a verbal diarrhea and I just like don't want to be like this all the time
or for the not really I mean at least for like 90% of the episode I want to keep it together but
anyways I was trying to say like oh it's so I this thing with shooting stars it's so crazy
like get on the edge of your seat or like what is that phrase fucking I don't know so I live
um here in San Diego and um the night sky is very vivid where I moved to um I used to live
in the city this like closer to downtown and if you looked up at night like because of all the
lights in the city and like smog I don't even think we have that much smoke here I don't know
like you could barely see the stars but where I live now it is unreal how well you can see the
stars and I have this thing where the other night I was taking Jimmy out to shit um I actually made
a TikTok of that I did I just remembered I he does this little thing with his teeth when he
needs to shit he like chomps them up and down and yeah I remember that night I took him out to shit
and um I always so sometimes I'll go outside I'm like I'm gonna see a shooting star in my head I
have that thought I always see one when I think that I see one I could say the last since I've
moved here I don't know like every couple weeks or so I'll go out and I'll look up and it's like
the stars are really bright and I'll just have that thought like I'm gonna see a shooting star
and I don't know if it's because I'm like actually looking up trying to find one
or what but like literally literally I don't know is that just um a coincidence like I try I try I
think I don't know there's something special with like the night sky and me and like looking
up the stars I feel like I have this connection to it and if you ever need a reality check just
go outside at night and look up it's fucking sobering and I'll never get over it like
it almost it gets me like so emotional sometimes too where I'm like what the fuck are we doing here
what is this life like what you know and we don't look up enough like we're so zoned in on our
phones like we're that's the new thing like your vision obviously mine's going to shit but like
we need to look at the horizon more we need to look at the sky more we need to like move
or recalibrate your eyes like a few times a day because isn't our peripheral vision going to shit
or like what are they saying are something's like going to shit because of staring at being
zoned in on a phone close to you yeah like i i um i try to look out um if i go to the beach here
i'm so blessed where i live i mean when i think about it i'm like fucking a i just like
if my younger self knew what i was doing now that she'd be so stoked like
i wanted this and now i got it you know what i mean like that is so sick fucking sick um
yeah so I like to look out if I go to the beach I like to look at where this the ocean and the sky
meet and I like to like stare at that for a long time because I think that's it's like I heard once
that probably on like a Ben Greenfield human optimization podcast or some shit I heard that
that was like good for you um but also looking up the the stars in the sky is uh cool too or
it just feels good um
nature feels so good and um i i always like whenever i'm out in nature i'm like i need to
do this more often and then i don't and then i'm like fuck you know it's just
i'm in a little i'm i get outside a lot but like for the most part we're
I'm working in my my home you know and um what am I saying there's a whale that washed up in New York
um moving on the spiral that was so anticlimactic climact anticlimactic climat
climax climactic anticlimactic climax climactic um the spiral spiral is a stupid fucking SpaceX thing
Um, so, like, this is the 10th mammal that's washed up in recent months.
Humpback whale washes up dead on New York Beach, 10th in recent months.
Um, this is making Monday's tragic discovery the 10th loss of the large water mammals in the past two months.
oh is this there's been 10 humpbacks washed up fuck um this thing was officials were out
on long island after a male humpback whale was spotted on lido beach lido lido i don't know
lido beach before 7 a.m he was dead by the time he was found fuck crowds gather and catch
the whale throughout the day prompted hemp hempstead town crews to run okay um researchers
estimate the whale is 40 feet long weighs 32 tons and is believed to be an adult about five years
old um the animals showed no obvious signs of trauma how do they wash up like what is you know
what i mean like how does that happen like what i'm such a ditz why do whales wash up or why do
like is it because they kind of like die out there and they're floating and they get carried
by the waves to the shore like their lifeless body just like drifts to the you know what i mean
i think that's why um why do i'm literally googling up on the shore it's not like they swim there
it's usually a result of sickness or injury bad weather old age navigation errors
and hunting too close to the shore
in argentina killer whales are known to hunt on the shore by intentionally beaching themselves
and then lunging at nearby seals so they go yeah because I mean mammals I mean they can survive
out of the water do you remember that in Free Willy didn't they like hoist the the killer whale
up on a they like hoisted hoisted him up on a truck and they were like dumping water on him
to keep him alive or some shit that's my favorite movie growing up Free Willy let me just do my list
right now of of like therapeutic nostalgic childhood movies that you might have forgotten
about Free Willy Free Willy 2 I think there's two of them Free Willy Fly Away Home
Swiss Family Robinson who's crying um
honestly these are pretty I feel like you I haven't I've never talked to someone that's
watch these movies the greatest the great escape was steve mcqueen towering inferno was steve
mcqueen and what's up doc i think that had barbara streisand in it what's up doc um yeah towering
inferno and the great escape i grew up watching that i don't know why we would watch those all
the time like we would just repeat like um what other like random movies yeah but swiss family
Robinson Free Willy um what was the other one I said I forget what about like Beethoven
all the movies with the animals that talked um I don't know I loved watching movies growing up
there's something so like perfect about it like going to the VHS store we didn't I we didn't
really go to blockbuster we went to like there was this place called like hollywood movie or
hollywood dvd or no hollywood video or video depot we'd go there as a family on like a friday night
or someday like a weekend night and we'd each get to pick out a vhs and then we'd all have to agree
on which one we were gonna watch when we went home and then we get like a pop and murphy's pizza or
like a yeah it's always pop and murphy's and we go home and eat pizza and watch and then we go and
we go to safeway and we get those um we get ice cream like those boxed ice cream
do you remember that when they came in a box yeah we get that pizza watch movies put like
sleeping bags on the living room floor and like curl up maybe we'd have popcorn too i don't it
It was always like a Friday night, movie night party thing at my house.
And then a lot of the times we would do a swimming night.
It was like, we go swimming as a family and then we go get our movie and we go home and
watch the movie and eat pizza.
It was like the best thing ever.
So, uh, um, what's my last story here?
Um, Chinese spy balloon.
Whale washed up.

regenerate your response is this because this is this is illegal or like not illegal but like
too extreme cancel um just like write me an essay about whales let's just try that something simple
write me a sad essay about whales dying
it's like not working regenerate response oh my god this is like so
like
cancel okay so this was a total fail um I've heard this is going on though like
some people are having troubles I'm definitely having troubles
a new chat let me just use one of their prompts and see if it works
yeah still singing Eric Kurtz so um
it's so crazy how good it is like i don't really my brain hasn't fully wrapped around like
what the future um looks like now that we have chat gbt but um
i just thought honestly so before i was recording i was like
like if robots can just do shit for us like it's gonna like why would we ever work or do anything
or use like try like like you know what I mean like why would we like what's the point of thinking
or what's the point of writing an email and thinking about it and taking that time to do it
a robot can just do it for you you know um like what's this gonna do to human behavior and like
our habits and our it's I feel like the so everything now is like super like convenience
is in like Amazon everything's like buy now just have it sent to my door postmates like
everything's super convenient now and I think this just this just promotes like
laziness and it's gonna dumb us down if we don't have to think and research and write
and come up with shit on our own right like it's gonna
but it's like so amazing at the same time like how could we not use it
um I don't know I know like if I was in high school I'd be using the shit out of this for
essays like my personal so like I were I remember pulling all-nighters I would procrastinate so much
in high school and college on writing papers where I'd pull all-nighters getting that shit
done I would literally stay up until like yeah like 6 a.m finishing an essay trying to like
the thing is i would always like i never plagiarized but like i was really good at
um using other other people's i would like find some articles and like i'd cite my sources right
i do everything the right way i would rewrite it in my own words and come up with my own ideas but
um i was really good at like hunting and pecking the internet for exactly what i wanted to say and
I would use phrases like I would blend phrases together from like the same paper like so it's
my it looks like it's oh my god I'm such a fraud like I literally I don't know
I would like instead of just like sitting down and like thinking on my own I would always like
use other people's i would get ideas on like sentence structure and shit from the articles
i was reading and using in my papers does that make sense i think it was like influencing me
so much where i was i was like not even thinking of like how would i say this um does that make
sense i even do that now like i'll i'll google i'll literally google like how to write an email
about x y and z subject like I'll just get ideas from a template because sometimes I'm like I don't
fucking know how to phrase this even for work like we're even oh my god I don't well let's just say
chat gbt is now um getting talked about me at work and like it's we kind of we kind of on it
we got like the we got the green light like use this try this out and use it for to write emails
or to like come up with like new ways of saying this thing in your email or whatever so that's
pretty cool um yeah I wonder what other companies are doing if they're like I wonder if they're
like squashing it like don't I don't know it depends on where you work but yeah we've like
totally got the green light to try it out and like use it so um it's pretty sweet okay am I
like come what time is it like should we do some life advice um i got through all my topics
i'm kind of hungry but i feel like i i kind of bullshit uh i ate like a jackass today
like um
I don't know what's crazy is let me talk about my eating habits
I'm gonna do a face spray one sec
oh shit got in my mouth um yeah it's weird like I work out really hard in the morning
and then I usually like shower get ready for the day start working I do my emails with like coffee
I usually drink black like we'll go grab a black coffee after our workout or we'll like I I have
it here now I have this cold brew I've got this other coffee here so I'll make it at home I'll
send you my emails and then because I worked out really hard and I don't know I like in theory I
feel like I should eat something after my workout but then I'm always scared if I eat in the morning
I'll get tired so then what I do about that is okay if I eat anything before noon it's going
to just be it's going to be protein only because that won't make me tired usually doesn't um
but it's kind of like no matter what I do I get tired midday and I I don't I'm like again theme
of the week is I'm tired I have to take a nap every single day a 20 minute power nap without
fail I do that and it gets to the point where I'll be working and it's time to take my little
midday break and I'm like out physically like I can't even I think this is a problem like I think
it's a caffeine problem I think I'm overdoing the caffeine before my workout I'm drinking like 250
i don't know how many milligrams are in those alani drinks i'm over caffeinating then i'm like
spiking my i'm like doing hard cardio i'm doing a hard lift coming home i'm drinking more coffee
not eating and then if i do eat it's like a little some like eggs or like whatever like
protein it's like a protein shake something like that barely anything no no carbs nothing
and then i'm like crashing like why am i so tired it's probably because yeah caffeine
over caffeinating under eating I just can't here's what I'm saying I can't figure it out I'm like
I feel like I need to hire a nutritionist like I know so much about nutrition I know what
I should be doing but like or I think I know what I should be doing but it's like not working
so is this adrenal fatigue wait what's adrenal fatigue adrenal fatigue
i'm just like always tired midday adrenal fatigue isn't an accepted medical diagnosis okay great
it is a late term applied to collection of non-specific symptoms such as body aches fatigue
nervousness and sleep disturbances like i don't have problems sleeping i sleep like a rock i have
this amazing extra firm mattress i've talked about it before um shout out what's the brand
Sealy I don't know um I sleep great I don't have any like uh digestive issues like sleep's great I
am for the most part energized throughout the day if I take a nap like I have to it's like my
midday nap I need it to get through the second half of my day it's like my it's like my day's
broken into two pieces my morning and my afternoon and if I don't nap in between I cannot
the thought this is what's sad the thought of is this because I'm like getting older
um like I feel like I'm so healthy right and then it's
I'm tired you know um it's again I think it's caffeine I have a problem
I always say that and I don't do anything about it just like the fucking exfoliator
in the shower with all the chemicals just like the screen staring at the screens like I just
I know better and I don't do better um it's it's not hard it's just like being aware of it and
it's like taking action on your bad habits right um but the thought of
doing my morning workout working taking my little lunch break maybe I go to like a deli and get a
little sandwich or something and walk the dogs for an hour on my little lunch break then coming
back to my office here it's my work from home office and working until the end of the day
without taking a nap like the thought of that is and I'm like how would I fucking make it
and I don't know if it's because I work from home and this environment makes me tired like
Corey he's always telling me that he's like I think it's because you work from home like
I'm moving a lot like I walk the dogs every I mean I take Louie out if I'm babysitting him
every couple hours like is this first of all I feel like I'm boring you with like
like this is so like not a big deal but I'm like trying to analyze it right now um
it's almost like no matter what I do I'm like if I eat I'm gonna get tired if I don't eat I'm
gonna get tired and then if I eat like carbs I'm like oh I ate too many carbs and then I get all
like nervous I'm gonna get tired and then yeah when I say ate like a jackass like literally this
is what I ate today and this is why I'm like did I just mention I'm hungry I think I did and then
I got on this tangent Jesus Christ I need to end the episode um do life advice on the episode
I literally ate so I worked out ran my four miles came home
uh drink drink coffee black coffee and then like at 10 30 i had some leftover ground turkey
in the fridge i was like because i just wanted to like eat and work i didn't want to like make
something so i just heated that up with some sriracha ate that and then
at like so I was at like what 10 30 then at like 1 30 I kind of got hungry again and I had like
greek yogurt banana um greek yogurt banana and like a little almond butter on top of cinnamon
and is that I don't feel like that's enough food or like that's like
I'm not doing it right like I should have had like should I have had more protein like someone
I'm it's like I I just don't know what to fucking do um I think it's because I have a history of
eating disorders and just like having obsessive food thoughts all the time um I always think I'm
eating too much and like the reality is I'm probably not eating enough I think anyone I
think a lot of people would say that like um I don't know so what I'm gonna do is finish this
episode I'm gonna give you some life advice I'm gonna make what should I eat I don't want to be
the thing is is I in the afternoons I'm like I don't want to be I want to have an appetite for
dinner it's Friday night I'm probably gonna go eat a goddamn platter of sushi somewhere or some
I don't know where we're gonna go I know we're gonna go out to eat I'm like I asked him I asked
Corey I'm like do you want to whip something up and cook tonight I'm just I mean he kind of wasn't
like an exciting response so I think we're gonna eat out but I want to have an app so like should
I eat I should have something with protein right should I make like I feel like a can of tuna
always holds me over and I'm not too full it doesn't make me tired it's straight protein
and I feel like I'm like it's it's it's I feel good after yeah maybe I should eat tuna
it's like albacore it's the Kirkland brand it's the Costco one it's good shit I always get that
one. I have like two boxes in the fridge. Oh my God. I'm a mess. Um, like sometimes I watch
videos of what, what I eat in a day. People will do like, what do I, what I eat in a day? And
they'll wake up. It's like before the gym, it'll be like a gym check. And I consider myself a gym
check. Like I'm for the most part, like I'm in the gym five, honestly, five to seven days a week.
I love working out like I'm at the gym I'm a gym bitch like I don't know how to say I lift
I do the booty workouts I do the fucking like big girl lifts you know I'm I rep like if you're
curious on my strength I'm proud of this I I saw someone I look up to I saw them post like their PR
of 225 their deadlift like this really jacked girl I follow her PR deadlift was 225
and I'm like wait what the fuck I'm repping that shit 12 times in a row as a set 225 times 12
I'll do that times three times four sometimes and I recently just worked back up to that I
kind of stopped dead lifting and then I got back I like I got these new straps and so my hands
stick on the bar but like hold on to the bar better and I I don't know what my I should like
I should try to max anyways what I'm saying is I'm I'm I'm a strong ox I'm a gym bitch what
what am I getting into so yeah I watched um
so that was like a mind fuck for me anyways I was like oh my god she
rep that one time and that was like hard for her and I'm doing this
it's like never it's like it's like stupid to compare yourself to people online
in the gym because we're all like we all have different genetics and like different
body types and I'm just it's like our my family my genetics like we're just we're like
well I've said this before I'm like I should work for UPS I should like lift and haul boxes
all day and drop them off at people's houses like I'm just stacked like that naturally like
they're like pictures of me when I'm a kid like my my thighs and my calves and my everything I
was like jacked anyways I don't know why I'm getting so excited about my fucking body type
and my strength right now um like humble brag and right is that what that was whatever um it's my
show um speaking of like lifting I'm kind of this always happens I'm on a cardio kick right now
obviously because my lungs I'm trying to like get my endurance up because of vaping and like I'm
trying to like really see what my body is capable of like breathing wise so I'm mixing it up but
like I don't love feeling jacked and like like I I can build muscle really quickly and
like I don't really like the feeling in my clothes when I'm super buff
so like and I remember I go in phases like I'll do like half the year I'll lift all the time and
then half the year I'll do like Pilates and fucking running um so I think I'm kind of I'm
tapering the lifting off a little bit I'm still gonna do it I think I'll have like two big leg
days a week and the rest I'll do like cardio and body weight shit because I just like how I feel
my clothes when I it's such a weird thing to explain but like when I'm sitting down in a pair
of jeans and I've done a and I've worked on my legs and my ass like four times that week and I'm
really sore and I feel puffy like sitting down in a pair of jeans isn't fun but like if I did a run
that morning I'm like oh my god when I cross them it like feels nice like I feel dainty and
shit like is that so fucking stupid but it matters to me because like I like to feel comfortable in
my skin and my clothes like running cardio makes me feel more snatched so I think I'm gonna um
oh my god this isn't and I'm this is an insane episode like an actually um
Um, I watched, I, I know why I got here. That's the thing about me. I always know where I came
from. That's why I, that's why I have a career in the shit. I I'm good at keeping, I can go off
on tangents, but I always go back to, I always drive the ship home. Okay. I watched a fit chick
do her what, what I eat in a day. And remember, remember when I mentioned that and I went on a
tangent, we're back. Okay. I always, so I'll watch these, what I eat in a days. And they're like,
okay before the gym it's like you know six in the morning they're like drinking their pre-workout
have like a banana and a protein bar and they're like shredded right and then
they go do their workout and then afterwards they have like I don't know some like eggs
maybe like egg whites eggs whatever turkey bacon a little bit of fruit and then like a piece of
toast or some shit something like really balanced like for breakfast after the workout and then
midday they have like lunchtime they have like their salad with chicken like something really
like you know simple like that and then afternoon snack will be like I'm having my apple
and then a couple little chocolate things as my little like 3 p.m snack and then dinner's like
strip steak with fucking potatoes and broccoli okay and then like after that their late night
dessert is like protein ice cream they like whip up a protein powder in the blender with some ice
or like they'll have a little oatmeal protein post dinner dessert I'm like that is so much
fucking food and they're like again shredded their bodies are super lean and like they look super fit
and I'm like I cannot like that's so much food and I'm like I don't get that hungry in the morning
before workout I never eat and I'm like I don't know I'm just it confuses me when I see other
people and I see their what I eat in days I'm like I think I need to like try it try to eat
more maybe maybe eat a banana before my workout and see how I feel and like just my thing it's
always my thing like I'm afraid of getting like it's always like the fear of getting fat the fear
of gaining weight like bitch you work out seven days a week like you're not and I I love my body
i love where i'm at i think i i'm doing okay but sometimes i'm like
i think i need to eat more because i'm always fucking tired okay eat more caffeinate less
i feel like i feel like a french bitch it's it's like i don't i don't vape anymore but like
honestly when i was vaping i was that that shit makes you not hungry and i would drink coffee
and vape and i wouldn't snack and i don't know um it's kind of like a lifestyle skinny being a
skinny bitch is like it's like a what's that fucking kate moss quote nothing feels as good
as skinny being skinny feels or nothing tastes as good as being skinny feels there's truth to that
um skinny is like a that's subjective like i don't know i just don't like to feel uh i like
to feel healthy I like to feel oh this is so fucking focused on me right now how self-indulgent
and narcissistic and like I'm just like like diarrhea I'm just like shooting out bullshit
about my fucking body in my diary right now like a typical basic fucking I'm just like I'm just
your I'm just just like any other bitch on the internet you know talking on her podcast about
herself and her fucking I don't know I'm trying to rope you into my life it's fun like you know
it's fun um I just like to feel healthy fit I like to be able to be in running shape like I'm
getting in running shape now like if I if I had to like get away from something I could
hold my own for 30 seconds from like a saber-toothed tiger um do they make those anymore
dude they're bringing woolly mammoth mammoths
they're they're bringing the woolly mammoth back um i saw i saw that they're like impregnating a
siberian buffalo no wait what's the closest thing to a woolly mammoth an elephant yeah it's crazy
as fuck so yeah after this i'm gonna eat i'm gonna make like a i'm gonna eat like a can of
tuna or some shit maybe i should try a carb maybe i should eat um i don't know
this isn't good for me guys this uh this is getting dire this um
um okay sorry I'm reading something right now okay my life advice for today before I end the
episode is I'm just gonna repeat myself here I'm probably going to honestly every time I talk about
like getting your shit together like living a badass
fun free fabulous fucking life like I always say the same thing but like
I think the number one advice I'd give to you is somehow if this doesn't exist in your life right
now somehow cultivate a really close relationship with yourself where you're good to yourself
mentally like does that make sense like somehow mentally become your own best friend your biggest
hype man hype woman hype whatever you identify somehow get that done and
because I'm just speaking I can only speak from my experience in my life experience I my
life story is I used to literally just hate myself like hate everything about myself hate
my personality hate the sound of my voice hate my body hate like every like just every little
thing about myself I nitpicked I was so critical and so down on myself about not achieving the
things I wanted to achieve at the certain point in my life I was at or just constantly being
disappointed where I was um like I wasn't yeah the reason when I think about it the reason I
wasn't achieving the goals I had for myself and like accomplishing the things I wanted
was because I was stuck in the negative thoughts and the negative spiraling and I was getting in
my way of getting anything done because I'd have the initial like excitement about the new thing
the new endeavor the new goal and then I get going on it and then I'd fail I wouldn't keep
up the habit or the whatever why am I going on about this right now this isn't where I want I
want I just turned down the wrong alley yeah I think that you gotta have you gotta love yourself
right first that's like cliche but it's so true and um you know in my case I I started talking
to myself out loud on my podcast and that was my personal therapy it still is it's how I've
gotten to know myself for real out of any other things I've tried out of the journaling
out of talking to friends and family out of talking to a therapist the number one the thing
that's helped me the most is talking to myself talking out loud getting it out of my head and
into words um you know it sounds I always I feel like I should do more about this or or talk about
it more but I see a lot of self-help people out there promoting yeah obviously meditation's great
journaling's great talking to a therapist it's all great but like I don't I don't hear I don't
yeah I don't hear anyone talking about
sitting just like literally talking out loud I know there's positive affirmation
affirmations in the mirror that's not what I'm talking about I'm talking about having a
full-on conversation with yourself just start just start with like what's the problem what
are you mentally like struggling with what's going on in your life that sucks like
like today I'm feeling like this because this happened and I can't stand it and I'm feeling
like shit and I want to just cry and you just literally say that out loud and then you're like
okay I got this this is what I'm gonna do I'm gonna go home I'm gonna make my bed I'm gonna
it's like fucking Jordan Peterson right now clean my room and then you like say the problem you stay
then you say like how you're gonna get through it like how you're gonna get over it and just talk
out loud and I was talking so what's crazy is Corey bring him and I'm bringing him into this
right now he was telling me he does that too he's like I talk to myself all the time I'm like I
don't know if you're listening right now let me know I actually want to know please dm me like
let's talk about this in my in my messages like do you talk to yourself out loud when you're going
through it like do you ever do that I think for me the only time before I started podcasting the
only time I would talk to myself out loud is when it got that bad when it was like really bad when
it was really dark for me when I was at my rock of rock bottoms it got to the point where I was
like I have nothing left nothing's working I need to just say it out loud I need to get it out and
release it that way and hear it like I always say it's like listening to your soul speak because
if you're like me and your brain's super it's like I have a hype my brain works fast I have
a lot going on up there all the time um it's like a it's like a dump a release and I'm honestly I'm
just I'm not a journaler I think journaling is great but um it's so different when you hear it
out loud because you feel like you're you hear your own voice and that's beautiful I'd rather
hear my own voice than see my own my my ugly handwriting on a piece of paper like I think
it's more beautiful or just more substantial and more impactful to say something out loud
that you're struggling with and writing it down um and just like keep keep talking to yourself
just keep doing it in the car in the shower um and this is again when I was going through it
like really bad so my advice is yeah develop a close relationship with yourself somehow where
you're where you love yourself or you're cheering yourself on and um my tip on how to do that is to
talk to yourself that's kind of all I got to be honest like what other how how else can you
because I just have it in my head out the head right now that someone out there listening you
maybe listening right now isn't very you're not very impressed with yourself you're not proud of
yourself you're not like getting where you want to go in life and you're feeling yeah a little bit
like don't in the dumps about life or you're like you're just not where you want to be yet and I and
I swear to god like the that was me and I and when I really get granular about it the reason I got to
this point where I am today because I was like I'm just gonna be so pro Jacqueline all the time
and I'm just gonna be nice to myself all the time and say nice things out loud and
focus on the positives all the time and like and when I say all the time like saying it out
lot all the time to the point where I'm like the failure negativity lacking of x y and z thing
not meeting the goal it doesn't exist if that makes sense so
yeah that was the number one thing getting that was the number yeah the number one yeah yeah
out. Shit. Jesus Christ. That was what was, that was my problem. And I overcame it again
by sitting on my little show here, talking about my little life, my little, you know,
just talking it out. So, um, again, therapy, journaling, meditation, talking to a friend
love one like that's all great too can't recommend that enough but try it out um it feels weird at
first but you know that's something I just had a thought within a thought within a thought what's
new it's like we're born into this life we're in this body and we talk I'm just thinking about
I'm just thinking about communication and talking right now and we learn to talk and we talk to our
mom and dad and our siblings and our grandparents we're talking to them we're talking to our
friends or teachers in school our bosses our our professors are the people in the stores like we're
always talking to other people right but talk why does talking to yourself seem so strange and so
foreign and when you do it you feel uncomfortable that's what
seems that's like a missing thing in life for me that I'm like
or not a missing thing in life I think that's a
it's not addressed it's not talked about like I like I want to talk about that because in my
experience frequently sitting alone and talking to myself out loud
has healed so much for me and has helps helped helped me so much where I'm like
I just want other people to do it and I know that's so so weird to say I don't know if that's
like my mission or my why or like my big thing like to is that my new course to sell to people
like how to talk to yourself but like for real why is it so because I remember the first time
I started doing it it was in the car I would like drive to the gym in the morning when I was super
fucking depressed during COVID. I was like, just so down and out. And I remember talking in the car
on the way to the gym and I was like, I was like, hi, how are, it's just so weird. Like to hear
yourself. Um, but shouldn't be, it shouldn't be. So yeah. Um, that's my tip. If you're going through
it, talk to yourself. I don't know what else to say. Like, obviously there's the cliches that I
always it's not cliche um or it shouldn't be what am I saying
I mean there's the whole like take accountability for your action
shit like keep your promises to yourself like be real with yourself about what you suck at
and what your bad habits are and then take action and do something about it like I go on and on and
on about those things and like don't repeat if like the same problem is coming up in a relationship
whether that's a friendship a family relationship or romantic relationship if the same conversations
if the same problems are happening like if there's a pattern there and there's problems there
my advice my other advice today and I and I haven't mentioned this in a while in a while is
like break the cycle, like get real with yourself about what role you play in that relationship
and how you're contributing to the problem and change your behavior and like active and admit
it, admit it to yourself and the people around you, you're, you're, you're having the problem
with that. You're in the wrong. It feels so good to say that I fucked up. I'm wrong. I was mean.
I did this I I you know it's it feels so good to just be like just fully just let go and do that
and just it's so hard for people people are so stubborn like I I come from a family where like
all I wanted ever was to just have a certain person in my family just be like I'm the problem
i saw like i'm i fucked up and i have this problem and i need to work on this behavior and this thing
i have you know i just wish they would have done that and they never did they never will
and it's like those are the worst kinds of people my so just in relationships the quicker you are
to take accountability and just admit your fuck ups and tell the other person you're sorry and
like tell them you're trying to work on it and this is what you're going to do to work on it
the better like it makes life so much easier so that's my other advice I need to end this episode
I just don't have time for bullshit and when people around me are stubborn and
they're like they clearly did something wrong and they're pretending like nothing and they're
pointing the finger obviously they always point the finger and they pretend like it's not their
you know it's not their fault and which is so immature and annoying so um yeah accountability
is everything um it's so it feels so good it feels so fucking good you just be honest and and
because no one's perfect obviously no one's perfect so
yeah don't let your ego and your big head get in the way of
of you because i feel like that holds people back for a lot like literally their whole life
some people are stubborn and and super egotistical their whole life and it ruins your relationships
it straight up ruins like i've seen it so many times where i'm like ah fuck if they only knew
that just admitting fault and just being like and saying sorry and and telling the people around you
that you're gonna work on it and show and show them like actually make the change like
it's like the greatest thing you'll ever do so all right love you thank you for hanging out with
