Welcome back to the show. how's it going uh happy june let's do a podcast so please first if you're new here make sure to hit that subscribe button i'm everywhere apple spotify youtube stitcher breaker google podcasts
Starting point is 00:00:43 wherever you listen to podcasts subscribe also head over to patreon.com slash tjms to become a patron and that will grant you access to my highly anticipated exclusive content yes i'm coming out everyone here you know here's the big drop okay i said this on the last episode i'm launching exclusive content for patreon only all right and by exclusive content I mean two bonus podcasts a month uh plus a vlog of behind the scenes content of my life and Corey my fiance I'm newly engaged if you're new my last episode was all about my engagement my fiance Corey and I I love saying that my fiance Corey and I will be vlogging and posting it on Patreon so if you want access to that very uh that highly requested exclusive
Starting point is 00:01:51 content that no one will shut the fuck up about kidding you know what I'm referring to uh patreon.com slash tjms go check it out uh it's June so this month you can expect two bonus episodes and a vlog cool so this is what i have for you today lots of little personal fun updates including some paranormal paranormal activity that went down in the household the other night um obviously i'm going to talk about pop culture news and news in general we've got like vanderpump rules reunion stuff we have taylor swift concert stuff um here's a fun one whales sinking boats and training their fellow whale friends how to sink boats so um that's kind of fun um what else oh something tiktok influenced me to buy um yeah let's just like bond i don't
Starting point is 00:02:55 know i feel like bonding with you i feel like i don't really you know what i was thinking about like I've been podcasting for three years and it's crazy how like I know if you're listening right now like you know so much I don't know you but you probably feel like you know me and that's just a weird thing to like walk around this world and think about like I feel like I've met new people recently who potentially listen to my podcast and know everything about me but I'm introducing myself like for the first time to them and it's just like this weird thing to think like they know everything about me but i don't know because they might like mention it after the fact after they meet me and it's kind of like i don't know it's like a cool dynamic i guess it's a
Starting point is 00:03:39 it's a new age very modern uh dynamic where you might know everything about a person now because of the internet and podcasting and social media before you actually meet them and then once you meet them it's like especially me because i say i tell you fucking everything on here so uh yeah why did i say that um oh just a thought i had so let's get into life updates okay first off this is the toothbrush holder go to youtube or spotify to watch this is the toothbrush holder i have been i talked about on the last episode um i don't know why i felt like doing show and tell um i have a new plan with my um toothbrush organization because i was sick of looking at charging cords and this is what i came up with and i'm it's going it's we're staying strong right now
Starting point is 00:04:37 with um me charging the toothbrushes during the day uh so that cory never has to charge his but there's like water at the bottom of this and i i feel like toothbrush holders always get nasty at the bottom so I don't know I probably need to air them out too what the fuck am I why are we talking about this so um life updates personal updates um we're still engaged okay like it's been what two weeks now still engaged um still in la la land like I feel like I'm twirling around like a fucking ballerina everywhere looking at my ring and yeah so um I guess I'll talk about this life update because it's kind of interesting um and I'm not sure what's wrong with me or I don't know if this is like a
Starting point is 00:05:32 psychotic like phase I'm in wouldn't be surprised if it is but I changed my laugh um kind of as a joke at first but then I realized like wait this is how I actually laugh or I actually should laugh so let me get into it I whenever I laugh so this is this is the hilarious part like Corey and I are in the car I don't know coming home from the gym getting coffee or something and he made me laugh like he always does but this time I actually let out noise like I actually let my belly you know fill up with air and like I you know what I mean like I was using my full body and my full vocal range to laugh because I've noticed whenever I laugh I like like I do that so when I actually laugh now when I or when I let sound come out it sounds more
Starting point is 00:06:36 like this like so fucking creepy I'm literally like acting like a circus circus clown I am an entertainer I am a storyteller that's what I'm doing right now that felt so psychotic for me to fucking do that but like so anyways we're driving we're getting coffee and I start laughing at him and I let the sound out and he looks at me like in shock he goes is that are you really laughing is that real and I had to like check in with myself and I go like and I kept doing it to kind of fuck with him because it was funny I kept like making the like noise like every time I laughed but I checked in with myself and I was like Corey I said I think this is actually how my laugh sounds when I don't hold it in does this make any sense because like I hear other people you know when you
Starting point is 00:07:28 hear someone's laugh and it their laugh makes you laugh I maybe do I really do I want one of those is that the whole point of this like I'm I just want to have like a unique laugh and I really want to explore my laugh like what the fuck but I was like I think this is what it actually sounds like when I let it out and I really release it you know because I've talked about how much I love laughing and joking around everything on the on this podcast but like it's it was crazy I'm like hi honey you just fucking proposed to me we're engaged you've known me for a year and now you're finding out how my laugh actually sounds so anyways it's kind of a it's a weird thing how I like let it out and I was like wait is this my actual laugh am I why do I because I feel like
Starting point is 00:08:11 I always hold it in it's like me holding in a sneeze like you don't feel so good to sneeze I feel like that's how it is now with my laugh like it feels good to just really belt it instead of doing the shit because he'll make me die laughing so and I'm like if I just breathed better if I just let it out I probably wouldn't it wouldn't hurt so bad to laugh does that make sense okay cool so that's my life update um I mean honestly I mentioned paranormal activity happening in the home but like it's not that dramatic so the other night when we got into bed I like fell asleep for maybe an hour or so and Corey was asleep and it was kind of hot in the room we turned the fan on I think we had the AC on and unfortunately I think the window is open I like the window to
Starting point is 00:09:12 be shut when we have the AC on obviously it just makes more sense that you keep all the cold air in anyways so we went to sleep we were like it's too hot in here let's turn on the fan let's turn the AC okay so we did that and then the dog so what we've been doing is Louie our bulldog Louie our bulldog used to sleep in the crate every night because it would he kind of gets restless before bed he doesn't really pass out fast enough so putting him in the crate makes him tired he like knows that's where he sleeps so now we've been putting them on the couch together and Jimmy our golden retriever and him sleep together on the couch anyways we shut the bedroom door we put them out in the living room they sleep on the couch and then we leave the what's it called the
Starting point is 00:09:58 closet door shut so they can have access to the bathroom where the water is it's a lot of details but this is the key crazy weird paranormal thing that happened and i don't know i can't explain it neither can cory we're still tripped out by it so we're like sleeping we turn the fan on the ac and everything and all of a sudden we hear the bathtub on like full fucking blast like the water in the bathtub just turned on and it was creepy because i didn't hear it at first cory's the one that noticed it and like it was so creepy because like my stomach dropped when he told me he's like because he we were sleeping he goes do you hear that and I'm like what what because I heard the fan you know I'm like listening the dogs aren't making noise they're not barking because do you
Starting point is 00:10:49 hear that and I'm like what he's like he goes I think the water's running in the bathtub and I'm like wait I hear it and I got all freaked out I was like what the fuck and so he got up and he literally had to turn it all the way off so it's like the handle had and I was thinking about it because that night I made dinner I was pretty tired like I I don't even that was the night where I said fuck the shower I'm going to bed in my sweatsuit I literally that's why it was so hot I had my full Grinch green sweatsuit on and duh like I passed out in the bed like that I don't even think I got under the cover covers at first but I remember I was gonna shower but I decided to oh I had to do I did the dishes then I went to the bedroom and I folded a shit ton of laundry
Starting point is 00:11:33 and then I fell asleep I was like I'm done for the night this is it I don't even think I washed my face it was one of those one of those evenings so he goes maybe because he went and shut it off he goes did you want to take a shower and then like turn the water on and he forgot and I said know like I didn't even go in the bathroom and I remembered I was like I did the dishes then I walked into the bedroom I folded the clothes and I literally maybe I got a glass of water from the kitchen and then went straight to bed like it was just boom boom so I knew I didn't go in the bathroom and turn on and it was so creepy because yeah the water that's the paranormal shit that went down the other night it was so weird I'm like how I'm like wait maybe Jimmy
Starting point is 00:12:17 because we had the dishwasher running I was like maybe Jimmy got scared because he's scared of the dishwasher and I I hate when he has to sleep in the living in the living room when um it's on because I know how nervous he gets so I'm like maybe Jimmy was freaking out and ran into the bathtub and like bumped the water that's all I could think of so it was weird anyways cool fun story um I changed my laugh the bathtub turned on we got fucking uh the nuggets in Miami playing in the finals i think i'm rooting for miami i don't know like i don't really care about either these teams to be honest but we've been watching the playoffs we've been watching basketball recently and like last day i'm pretty sure denver won yeah i think it's gonna well i just think they're the
Starting point is 00:13:03 better team but yeah we're watching the finals um we're going to north carolina in a couple weeks in Hawaii in July um I'm still unable to work out like why am I doing all these boring life updates you guys probably want me want me to talk about um adult diapers I'll get into that there's a funny story about adult diapers that I saw so I'm still yeah okay so this is the situation fucking the injury situation now so I ruptured my hamstring okay like I tore it and then I kept working out made it worse and over the last like yeah three weeks I've basically just sauna'd and stretched well like not that I don't stretch my hamstring that's injured but like everything else I do like yoga stuff but I can't really work out right now because everything hurts my hamstring
Starting point is 00:13:59 I'm really trying to heal it so I started doing upper body workouts because like you know can't do my lower body I'll do my upper body then I tweaked my neck okay so then we have that and then yesterday i literally went to pet louie on the couch and my knee fucking gave out and on my right my right knee so i have my left hamstring my right knee my right shoulder my knee has a weird thing now it's like i've never in my entire life i've done crossfit i've done i started in crossfit in like fucking fifth grade my parents used to drag us there after school and we'd work out with them and like i started doing like hardcore olympic lifting and stuff from a very young age i am proud to admit and I love saying like you know people always talk about oh you know this will
Starting point is 00:14:39 hurt your back or hurt your knees or it's like no I never get injured ever never ever get injured I never pull muscles I never pop things so this is like a weird time because I love working out it's like my favorite thing to do in the morning and I can't really do it right now and yeah so it's just funny how Corey started recording me because he's I think I might post that on TikTok off he started recording me just like with all my injuries just it was funny yesterday like after I hurt my knee anyways um so yeah I might have like upper hamstring teninopathy or something I don't know I was like researching a bunch of um info on it but I I'm at the phase I don't think it's a super high grade tear I think I'm like a grade two because when I first did it like it
Starting point is 00:15:31 didn't even hurt I did it and then it just felt weird like it was like a pop sound and then I didn't have any excruciating pain rushing pain to the area or like bruising it just felt weird in the moment and then that's why I kept working out I was like oh I'm not in pain and I think I had a like a micro tear that just kept getting worse so um everyone what is this update I feel like I'm scooting through this do you feel like we're bonding right now I feel like okay is that what I said like let's bond today let's hang out I don't know um what am I drinking okay we've got my Stanley Stanley tumbler full of uh oh fuck life update we have a new water pitcher this is my Stanley cup with my clearly filtered filtered water
Starting point is 00:16:19 um so i'm drinking that because we were using a brita ever since i met cory i moved in with him in like january yeah we've been using a brita and i just know that there's it doesn't really do anything like in our water here in san diego is kind of trash and there's probably a lot of bad shit in it so we got this it's called clearly filtered go look it up on amazon or no they have Instagram go look up clearly filtered on Instagram not sponsored if they want to sponsor me I super impressed with the water so far I feel great I feel like it tastes like literally nothing because it takes out like 395 chemicals pesticides whatever is in water like it takes it out so um yeah so I'm drinking that why am I talking about this right now then I have two coffees
Starting point is 00:17:13 one is the they're black coffees one is plain one is vanilla we go to this coffee shop so often we literally walk in and they know us so well they just like make it they always put a v on cory's and he left his when he went to work this morning so i'm drinking it and honestly i hate the vanilla one because it's like vanilla it tastes like a candle like essenced coffee like flavored coffee just doesn't i don't like it that kind of tastes like a candle mine's better the thing we love about this coffee shop is every time we get black coffee it's perfectly like the temperature's perfectly drinkable or whatever like we were at starbucks i think when we were road tripping to where did we go we were just in the car together on a road trip
Starting point is 00:18:03 do you guys remember where we went did we go to it was at palm springs no i feel like we went somewhere else. Um, Oh, Catalina where we got engaged. We were driving to Catalina and we went to Starbucks on the way and the coffee took like 45 minutes to cool down. And yeah, so that's what I'm drinking. But, um, something I want to mention is how literally over the last, I don't know, like what's what's the month oh it's June okay yeah happy June um yeah like over the last few months I keep seeing people on my Instagram that I follow like get engaged get pregnant have a wedding etc etc and I've been saying this for so many months like I remember telling Corey that like three months ago I was like literally everyone I follow is all of a sudden engaged
Starting point is 00:18:57 or pregnant it's like crazy and now I'm engaged but it's all the people this is what I'm getting to it's like all the people that I followed for years like influencers like um let me just name drop um I don't know if anyone knows Julia and Hunter shout out Julia and Hunter they have they're a married couple now they have a baby they just had their baby boy Smoke is his name they named him smoke um julian hunter are like youtubers they do a lot of home interior design like vlogging lifestyle stuff over on youtube and anyway so she got pregnant and she just had her baby and then lauren gerardo is that how you say her last name she's pregnant and i remember when she got engaged and now she just had her wedding in columbia and then lauren elizabeth i'm sure
Starting point is 00:19:51 someone out there listening I don't know like I don't know it's like know your audience know your fucking target like I'm sure that rings a bell for someone but Lauren Elizabeth is pregnant I've been following her YouTube since like fucking high school um who the fuck else oh Jaclyn Hill just had her wedding um I'm blanking there's oh fuck who the fuck else it's like let me go on it's every time I pull up my little Instagram story bubbles like the people they're all like um oh Alex Cooper's engaged um yeah it's like when I scroll through it's just like engaged pregnant engaged pregnant it's like another major influencer isn't Stassi pregnant right now Stassi from yeah she's pregnant it's like the first story is like her showing her
Starting point is 00:20:43 bump today yeah so it's wild how like all of a sudden I've noticed this and now I'm part of the club like I'm now I'm engaged now I'm planning weddings so um not yet by the way I haven't I told you guys on the last episode I was like I'm already starting to feel like a bridezilla a bridezilla I was being all dramatic but like I'm still enjoying my engagement it's literally been two weeks and yeah so cool um do I feel does this feel hurried do you feel rushed as a listener do you feel um oh Sophia Sophia Sophia Richie Sophia Richie right yeah Grange she just got married and she's like the new hot thing um and old money aesthetic fashion choices are now fucking everywhere or whatever fashion what am I saying like it's crazy how she gets married
Starting point is 00:21:38 pops off on tiktok becomes the new like hayley bieber like it girl and your everyday bitch now is like dressing like old money because that's her vibe that's her aesthetic and now everyone's trying to be like sophia richie and do that thing and it's just funny how like that's gonna tarnish the actual old money thing because it's like if everyone's just dressing like they're fresh off a yacht in fucking where do you yacht when you're rich I don't know like the all mafia coast or something like with their little like what is so few like what's her style it's very simple very like classy classic modest it's I will you know I am supportive of that it's a very modest feminine classic style and I'm here for it I think yeah if more women if if that becomes like a trend
Starting point is 00:22:34 and more women dress like that I think that's good I think um you know classing it up a little bit would be nice instead of doing all the like fashion over cheap fashion shit or fast fashion shit like you know a little more flowy drapey you know classy silhouettes that with good fabric it's all about the fucking fabric if you look at what she wears it's fabric that's what makes it look nice like she might have like a t-shirt and jeans on but it's the fucking fabric okay cool so she's popping off oh and there's also this drama with um Kylie copying her style because I guess Kylie's in Paris right now and she's like wearing all these classy modest Chanel outfits and I'm like you know what that's just what you wear when you're in Paris okay I don't
Starting point is 00:23:22 think Kylie's trying to copy her or anything but um but Kylie does follow trends so maybe you know she's taking a page out of Sophia's book and and weren't they like best friends and now they're ex-best friends like I don't know okay this is what I'm realizing let's cut to the Vanderpump rules reunion and Vanderpump rules stuff because this is what I'm realizing like it would probably okay I don't keep up with like I think the pop culture like reality tv vanderpump rules type shows isn't really my thing but when I go on the internet and follow the people I follow everyone's talking about it everyone's podcasting about it everyone's doing interviews about it and like I'm sitting on sitting over here in the corner like who's Raquel like who's what
Starting point is 00:24:12 happened with Lala or Sheena like I know their names like I know kind of the gist of what happened and it's only because I listen to things and see things posted here and there and I'm like literally putting the puzzle together but I haven't watched the show I haven't so what I'm saying is I think it would serve me and be good for I don't know to like watch these shows and actually contribute to the conversation because it's interesting like it's you know I love it's like it's fucking juicy i think it'd be fun to talk about and but i don't even know what to say so my vanderpump rules reunion update uh or my thoughts on it is i don't i'm clueless i don't know what to say um was it tom like i'm probably getting this so wrong but wasn't it tom sandoval
Starting point is 00:24:59 sandoval and raquel getting behind who is the girlfriend or the wife or someone's back had an affair behind so who is he dating or I don't know I literally have no clue and then there was something like oh I would trust her in the bed with him and then there's like but I don't know who that girl is like literally I just hear things and I'm trying to figure it out um and then what was the other fact I or thought it's a it's a train wreck I in my head I don't even know what to say about it i just know that it's juicy everyone's on it um if you want to like listen to a good recap of all of this listen to juicy scoop that's one of my favorite podcasts recently i love heather mcdonald and i love when she talks to spencer pratt but um yeah i like getting my
Starting point is 00:25:54 updates my like pop culture news updates from juicy scoop and obviously the toast i'm a big toaster um yeah so like it's funny how i listen to podcasts and i follow people and i love their shit but like they would hate me because of like a certain thing i agree or disagree with for example i love the h3 podcast i love following all the the lore the drama the shit they talk about um you know and in terms of like you know internet beef with other creators they always like talk about that shit so I'm all I'm all about it but I'm a fan of uh Matt Walsh and I feel like just because of that they would hate me like they would think I'm you know because of they're like anti-Matt Walsh and everything he puts out also the toast okay I'm a big toaster I love Jackie
Starting point is 00:26:48 and claudia and and their sisters and everything and but i'm not a taylor swift fan and i don't like love taylor swift and i would come if i ever said that i'd be like oh what the fuck you know so i it's interesting like you can it's a good example of like you can really love someone and like people or a podcast or show or believe in a majority of what someone talks about but there might be something you're like you don't agree with and that's cool it's not like you have to be black and white like you can have differences of opinions or you can like people or dislike people and still be friends or still whatever what am I trying to fucking say um yeah which is good because I think some some people might listen to like the h3 podcast for example and hear one thing
Starting point is 00:27:38 and just get so turned off by it that they don't agree with like when they talk shit on Matt Walsh walsh when they talk shit on who else do they not like on there they have like enemies there's a lot of the enemies that ethan klein has and talks about on that show i like that person but i still listen i'm still because i think it's good to have mixed like opinions on in your ear and not always hear your perspective or your side so um that's why i listen to leftovers when they talk about politics from the left side and that you know the more liberal side of things you know i'm more moderate conservative in the middle there and i feel like they're helping me understand the other side and i love that's why i love listening to it um as crazy as some of the things they say
Starting point is 00:28:26 are and as much as i don't agree with it i like to hear the other opinion so i think that's healthy why am i saying this i was what was i talking about oh vanderpump rules yeah do you guys want me talk about speaking of taylor swift yeah like i it's it's hard like you can think someone's amazingly talented great greatest songwriter of all time of our generation can fucking shut down a goddamn stadium tour and you know literally cause adult women to wear um this is the update this is the news I can recognize that Taylor Swift is so good at what she does she's got women wearing adult diapers to her concert so they don't piss themselves or so they don't have to take a pee break and miss a single second of her show I can go wow that is fucking incredible
Starting point is 00:29:21 what a fucking feat of a human being to be that godly to people out there right but I don't like Taylor Swift I don't never have I think her songwriting is great I some of her songs I do think are catchy and I and I like the whole like die hard like fangirling like worshiping like you know freaking out and passing out at concerts that kind of level of of um excitement around Taylor Swift I personally just don't have it I don't understand it sometimes i'm like i don't get the appeal or like the yeah and now there's this thing coming out where like girls are um they're posting how like they don't they have a concert amnesia like they don't remember the taylor swift concert there's actually science behind that i think let me pull up this
Starting point is 00:30:19 article i saw on um is this bbc news yeah the headline is taylor swift fans report amnesia following eras tour by the way if i went to this i would if i went to her show i'd be like holy fuck she's incredible she's amazing she's so talented i would love it i would fucking eat it up love it i'm just saying like it's kind of here nor there to me i'm not do you know what i mean now if it was like oh rihanna's in town i'd fucking be there you know like certain artists i'd be like all over going to their show but taylor is kind of like i don't get it i don't know and i feel like weird even saying that because i feel like people they just like fucking love her like like i've never followed her storyline or her dating history or like i
Starting point is 00:31:11 don't know any details and like the secret stuff she does she does all these like clues and like i don't know any of that i just know she had like a cat or she might i think she still has the same cat and she put a 13 on her hand and i don't know why but yeah so many taylor swift fans say they've been left with a blank space i think that's one of her songs right when they try and remember parts of her heirs to her from out-of-body experiences to entering a dreamlike state swifties have taken to social media in recent days to reveal their guilt at not being able to remember key moments from the three hour long show it sounds worrying and amnesia can be a serious condition but it may not be as scary as it sounds um it's simply that they encode some aspects of
Starting point is 00:32:02 the event in memory and not others said dr michelle phillips a senior lecturer in music psychology from the royal northern college of music according to dr phillips when fans are excited and so immersed in a moment they can feel as though time has suddenly passed and they haven't been able to properly process everything that they've just seen heard and felt yeah I feel like that's happened to me at concerts like it's so intense and there's so much energy you're so in the moment well that's the thing I was thinking about I was like maybe it's because everyone's filming it the whole time they're not really in the moment paying attention I don't know um yeah you don't like remember everything yeah I thought that was but it's like a big
Starting point is 00:32:41 headline coming out right now I'm like what are the comments on that um bro imagine the music being so boring you don't even remember what they played in the concert that's mean when you're at an event with a hundred thousand people and half a recording on their phone maybe their brains are like nah can we please stop talking about taylor swift and her fans this is on bbc so these are common people that follow the bbc instagram luckily all the fans record the entire show on their phone this this is not journalism i know it looks like journalism and they even interviewed a professional about something but don't be fooled this is actually horseshit i'm very close to unfollowing bbc i love when people comment like such intense
Starting point is 00:33:22 like rage about this is not journalism this store stop posting about this or stop talking about this happy pride month this is the funniest headline i've ever seen why is this news yeah that's one of the comments everyone comments um but uh see this is this is the twist this is what i also saw on tiktok about the concert amnesia this this girl goes see y'all think it's just music some of these entertainers are doing rituals and stuff on y'all while all at these concerts concerts this is proof so there's like conspiracy shit on TikTok right now about how Taylor Swift is casting spells on her audience and like that's why no one can remember anything and like there's all this imagery like they can
Starting point is 00:34:11 these conspiracy there's people or they do these deep dives will show like the concerts of other other people's concerts and how satanic it looks now it looks like it's a ritual happening and um and there's a weird thing I did see on one of those videos like Taylor Swift's piano just started playing like but maybe that was like planned or maybe that was actually a glitch like I don't know but people are connecting that with like fucking her being possessed or the show being fucking satanic or something but I don't know it's called having too much time on your hands um but I get it the whole concert amnesia thing I feel like it happened it like you're having so much fun you're screaming you're singing and then after you leave you're like oh
Starting point is 00:34:58 fuck what just happened you know it's like wow that was that was so amazing but I like don't even know why it was so amazing um until you look at your phone then you remember like the certain parts but um I just got a text from my let me say it again fiance I'm so annoyed he made his plans for fourth of July. I'm so lucky guys. I'm just so fucking lucky. We're going to a country club. We're going to watch fireworks. How amazing. Um, cool. So what's next? I guess I'll show you the snail gel shit that I've been putting on my face recently. So this is the segment called what TikTok influenced me to buy so I'm on skincare TikTok I'm always on skincare TikTok or my I always want my algorithm to show me skincare products skincare tips I love
Starting point is 00:35:57 skincare so I saw this person I forget who it was this lady put this on her face and it's literally so this is made in Korea it's um called advanced sail snail snail the word snail like the snail I don't know if that's coming across if I'm saying that right snail 96 mucin power essence by corsic cost sir cost rx it says being 96 snail secretion snail mucin this essence helps the skin to lose less moisture while keeping the skin smooth and healthy so what's fucking crazy about this stuff and this is what influence this is why i bought it because it's like an essence slash it reminds me of a hyaluronic acid serum so i don't know if i'm gonna be able to do this on camera but go to youtube if you want to see this demonstration um and subscribe to my youtube
Starting point is 00:36:59 channel while we're there i'm also posting shorts okay i'm on youtube shorts i'm on my youtube channel has like 65 videos really proud of that um go subscribe but the crazy thing about i don't know why i just wasted two pumps you don't you don't really need a lot you need like one pump but it is so creepy how like it's it's slimy and I don't know if you can see this it like like it when you pull it away when you take a put a blob on your hand and like pull it away with your other hand it like sticks there's like it's like slime yeah so this goes on your face um it doesn't really have a scent it's like a very light scent um and obviously it's been filtered but I'm like how do they farm this like are there little snails like sliming around
Starting point is 00:37:54 like hundreds of thousands of little snails and they're like collecting this um the like mucus stuff they're like a snail trail like the stuff in your panties ladies if you're listening oh my god that is such a gross like part of being a woman like why do we have to fucking have I mean I'm literally on my period right now boys this is not your section this is not for you but like just secretion secreting losing fluids like why you know just it's just such a yeah now I feel like I have to explain to you that I don't have like heavy discharge like it's called discharge like I feel like some girls get on their podcast and talk about it as if like every time they go take a piss and look at their underwear it's like a fucking blob of
Starting point is 00:38:48 fucking something coming out every time like I think that's that's like a rare occasion that's like there's certain times of the month I think where that is more intense than other times of month. Oh my God. Again, being a woman is fucking crazy. Um, cool. So I bought snail mucin and I highly, I would say my review of this, I've used it for a couple of weeks is it's good. I don't really know what it does. Uh, like at a cellular cellular level, I'm not really sure what it does, but I kind of want to Google, how do they snail mucin? Um, how do they make snail mucin? snail oh how is snail mucin collected for costs rx product snails are placed over a mesh net in a quiet dark room as not oh this is cool because i was really curious like when i saw
Starting point is 00:39:46 this i'm like how do they do this it says as nocturnal creatures the snail prefers this environment for about 30 minutes the snails are left alone to freely roam the net leaving mucin on their trails oh that's cute so there it's a i feel like it's humane right there's like facials where they put snails over you to slide around that's disgusting i would never um i remember at summer camp i had a like a banana slug once and that and it like shriveled up um i was like dared to do it i've never talked about summer camp but i went to like a classic like what you see in the movie summer camp um it was called CYO camp back in like sixth grade fifth or sixth grade and um I still think about it to this day as like one of the
Starting point is 00:40:36 best childhood um things my parents signed me up for um cool so yeah let me read the Taylor Swift adult diapers thing now where did I see this adult diapers Taylor Swift fans say they'll wear adult diapers to your concert I mean that's the headline so they don't miss a single song that's like yeah um yeah how far would you go to not miss a single song at Taylor Swift heirs tour um oh something I saw today this is in Amazon Prime News um exciting phone plan news phone plan Amazon News saving money here we go so this is from insider tech amazon is currently in talks with wireless carriers t-mobile verizon and dish about potentially offering a prime wireless plan that could range from zero dollars to ten dollars per
Starting point is 00:41:51 month for amazon prime members bloomberg reported the idea could take months to launch and could still fail to pan out but even a ten dollars a month plan would represent a real savings for most people the average american pays 144 per month for their phone bill um jd power told cmbc so that's kind of cool you could get like a then prime would be like 200 that's what people are saying this person's from germany they pay seven dollars and 99 cents a month um yeah so maybe there's gonna be a in inflation or in like economy and and financial distress um hope news you might be able to get a $10 phone plan with the with amazon of course like you're gonna fucking take over everything um eventually it's like what else could they do what what else
Starting point is 00:42:56 could they save us money with um what oh i know what i was gonna show you because i'm getting married so sorry for yawning maybe i should drink i should probably drink water dude california has so many goddamn good-looking people like especially where i live like this couple just walked down the streets i it's like brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie like literally just beautiful stunning gorgeous so well dressed perfect hair perfect just everything it's kind of nice to see you know I talked about on my last podcast I always talk about how my environment affects me and how I prioritize my lifestyle my whole life that was my goal is to build a create a lifestyle um and then kind of build a
Starting point is 00:43:53 career around wherever I live and where you know the environment so something that I didn't really realize until I got here is how being around like healthy fit good-looking people all the time makes me feel good about and like it just yeah it's like a nice thing to see all that instead of like unhealthy unfit depressed strung out drug addicts or like you know where I could have lived it's more of that where here it's like everyone cares about health it's like concentrated like san diego is like concentrated health wealth success you know like people wanting to live you know big bold beautiful fucking lives like because it's you know there's a it's affluent where it's very affluent where i live like affluent affluent is that the right word um
Starting point is 00:44:46 yeah people just like i don't know maybe they're all what do you call nepo babies saying maybe they're all maybe they inherited all their wealth and i'm you know no one's actually working hard which kind of seems like that's the case sometimes i'm like do you does anyone work like where do these people get their money like how are they living like this how do they afford this like you just never know but um it's all fucking here like southern california is it's so out of this world different than where I grew up like there's pockets of that where I grew up but like the fact that it's all fucking here is I'm just so just it's kind of sad like I I remember growing up if I saw you know a Rolls Royce or something I'd be like holy fucking shit where now
Starting point is 00:45:35 they're driving down the street where I live every other you know like twice a day and it's like nothing you know like i just see them like i see lamborghinis i see who god he's bentley's all that there's a fucking dealership close to me for yeah rolls mclaren uh lamborghini um so yeah it's just crazy how fucking wealthy and like good looking it is around here um it's not like does that make me superficial for admitting that that I like to I think that makes sense though like you like looking at that is more uplifting and inspiring and makes me feel better than like looking at people that are you know the opposite of that so okay cool um
Starting point is 00:46:29 whales are sinking boats oh no i was gonna talk about this i said i'm getting married um and these are the uh price changes and wedding items from 2019 to 2022 so if you're hiring a dj it went up 25 percent since 2019 makeup artist 20% flowers 20% so like everything's gone up um the groom's attire it's like minus three percent like um photographer is that percentage this is from Sagar um i follow his instagram he always posts like um is it saga and jetty
Starting point is 00:47:27 what's the show with crystal it's um is didn't it change the name it's not called breaking points anymore it's called like oh it is breaking points duh yeah but he he always posts like uh infographics and like just interesting information on the economy and what's going on the world so i like following his account but everything's going up um so let's get into whales sinking boats because it's fucking crazy um i saw this on tiktok oh yeah they're orcas specifically my favorite one of my favorite animals i like if you know i'll rapid fire my favorite favorite animals for you right now
Starting point is 00:48:18 because i just like i don't know maybe it's interesting we've got literally like everything i grew up with in the pacific pacific northwest uh we've got i grew up in washington state if also rapid fire fact if you're new i'm from washington i live in san diego cool I got, okay, bald eagles, grizzly bears, orca whales, wolves, and what am I missing? Eagles, grizzlies, orcas, bald eagles. Yeah. All predators, right? Eagles, bears, wolves.
Starting point is 00:49:04 Jesus Christ. Okay, I don't know. I like all those kind of animals um so there's video of this cat um okay this is the headline I saw it says orcas have sunk three boats in Europe and appear to be teaching others to do the same but why scientists think a traumatized orca initiated the assault on boats after a critical moment of agony and that the behavior is spreading among the population through social learning this is crazy they've sunk groups of orc whales have taken boats down in europe and i guess they have a lot of similarities to humans orcas do and one
Starting point is 00:49:48 of the similarities is revenge like they have the revenge thing and so i think this whale was like done dirty and then it was like hey friends we're gonna go sink this boat and then all those friends taught their other friends how to do it and then it's just like a whole thing now so orcas have attacked and sunk a third boat off the Iberian coast of Europe and experts now believe the behavior is being copied by the rest of the population um three killer whales struck the yacht on the night of May 4th in the Strait of Gibraltar Gibraltar Gibraltar Gibraltar Gibraltar off the coast of spain and pierced a rudder there were two smaller and one larger orca skipper i love the word skipper skipper warner schoffelberger told the german publication
Starting point is 00:50:41 um the publication is called yacht the little one shook the rudder at the back while the big one repeatedly backed up and rammed the ship with full force from the side that's how they take down like gray whales so if you ever watch whales attack other whales they're fucking ruthless they'll do it for like six hours straight they literally like ram into the gray whales just side attacks just like full force like body them body them body them until the whales like i guess die like i forget like i was watching an attack video it's like do they kill the gray whales are they just like fucking with them and hurting them do they eat that they don't eat i don't know they eat seals they're just orcas are so fucking ruthless in the ocean like in like they're killer where
Starting point is 00:51:35 killer whales for a reason and yet other than sea world because that's a obviously a toxic environment for a whale to be contained in because they kill they kill people there out in the wild if you're swimming in the ocean a whale orcas don't kill humans and i think i've heard like if they accidentally mistake you as a seal they'll spit you out because you're like not meaty enough and they don't they don't like us like that so they're so like gentle with humans in the ocean but like uh every everything else seals you know like everything else is fucked so um he said he saw the smaller orcas imitate the larger one the two little orcas observed the bigger one's technique and with a slight run-up they they too slammed into the boat spanish coast guards
Starting point is 00:52:26 rescued the crew and towed the boat to barbate but it sank at the port entrance two days earlier a pod of six orcas assailed another sailboat navigating the strait greg blackburn who was broad aboard fuck abroad aboard the vessel looked on as a mother orca appeared to teach her calf how to charge into the rudder so they're smart they're going for the rudder you got you take that rudder out that boat's it's not going anywhere um the reports of interactions have been continuous since 2020 in places where orcas are found either in galicia or the straight or in the straight so the co-author um most encounters have been harmless more than five more interactions been okay so there have been 500 orca interactions with boats i believe since 2020 which is kind
Starting point is 00:53:26 of that's a lot a lot of encounters um but only three ships sunken so far but this has been like a recent thing they've been doing this like more frequently or more close together so the spike in aggression towards boats is a recent phenomenon lopez fernandez said researchers think that a traumatic event may have triggered a change in the behavior of one orca which the rest of the populations learn to imitate the orcas are doing this on purpose of course we don't know the origin of the motivation but defensive behavior based on trauma as the origin of all this gains more strength for us every day yeah um orcas are social creatures that can easily learn and reproduce behaviors performed by others um i fucking love orc whales like i watched free
Starting point is 00:54:15 free willie as a kid and like that movie just like makes my heart happy i don't know like it just makes me want to cry too but like i just love yeah i think where i grew up i grew up in the pacific northwest and northwest washington like that's where you can like i'll never forget the first time i saw whales like out in the wild when we were camping it's crazy to see their fins and like I was a little kid and like I've heard about it you know I've seen it in the movies but to see it in real life was like holy shit um but yeah I thought that was kind of a funny story to tell today um so did I maybe save a couple of tiktoks um orcas are sinking boats for revenge and teaching others to do the same
Starting point is 00:55:09 orcas also known as killer whales have attacked and sunk at least three basically what i just said i saved a tiktok about it um there's this other shit i saw on tiktok um let me just go to my saved right now where there's this demodics demodics mites okay what am i saying holy shit let me drink some water so basically i watched a video of a dermatologist coming on tiktok with a piece of scotch tape to his forehead he ripped it off put under a microscope and he's like everybody not just some people everybody has these little mites on their skin
Starting point is 00:55:52 and it is so nasty so creepy like i don't even know what to say about it it's just like let me play the video today as promised i'm going to try to catch the little mites that inside the pores of our skin for those of you new here these are what are called demodex mites they live inside the pores of our face and eat our oil they're normal and very common but cannot find them on my skin let's get to it and i'm going to warn you i was not fully prepared for what i found so the night before i took scotch packing tape and put a strip on my nose and then my forehead and then went to sleep and in the morning i took those strips off and taped into a fresh piece of tape so they weren't sticky and then brought them to the office and this is what they look like you
Starting point is 00:56:27 can see all that oil and debris there very similar to a pore strip but let's see if i could actually find anything once i put it under that microscope it's so hard to film on a microscope but i eventually got a good shot so let's zoom in and see that can you see that little guy there that my friends is a demodex mite and i'm kind of freaked out that i actually have them let's zoom in uh do you see that it's waving its legs at me it's still alive i was not expecting that isn't he cute but what should we name him and then i found something even cooler demodex mite okay so disgusting right um they're like these little long they look like a little caterpillar type thing with little legs and they have a face they have a fucking face that's what that's what
Starting point is 00:57:13 i didn't like about this when i saw it i was like i just the fact that there's like little creatures i guess i think i knew that we had them in our eyelashes and stuff but um some of the top comment is how do I unlearn this I could have gone my entire life without knowing this um yeah and like when you see like rosacea or like rashes and stuff I guess that's the mites like going to work doing bad things on your skin so speaking of skin I don't know what's going on you can't see it obviously I'm not going to take my top off but um patreon.com slash djms for exclusive content coming this month patreon patreon.com slash tjms um uh for the for exclusive content coming this month cool um if you want to know specifically what the content is rewind back
Starting point is 00:58:11 to the beginning of the episode maybe you have amnesia maybe you feel like you're at a you know concert right now you have amnesia what am i saying and you forgot what i said in the beginning but um there will be exclusive content on Patreon uh go to the beginning of the episode if you forgot what I said um Jesus Christ but anyway speaking of skin I have these like I'm like I looked in the mirror after my shower today and I was like do I have chicken pox again like I just have these random little red speckles like they're not like zits or anything they're just like red spots like under my armpit around my it's like in between like on my stomach a little bit and I'm like okay this has been I've noticed this for a couple days and I'm like shit what is
Starting point is 00:59:02 this so who knows but by the way oh my god life update I'm so proud of myself I literally it's in front of me I'm looking at right now I made two doctor's appointments yesterday I have a list of like 15 appointments I need to make like pre-summer like getting everything together for the summer and also just general appointments and I'm so proud of myself because I've been looking at this goddamn list for so long I think I've talked about on the podcast like how I keep putting off booking appointments and how I hate making them and it's so frustrating and I literally just like picked up the phone and did it yesterday and I was like this was so easy duh just call them just make the appointment then just all you do is call make the appointment put
Starting point is 00:59:43 on your calendar and then show up at the appointment it's not that hard but i always feel this resistance and like inertia when it comes to the appointment making stuff because i feel like i don't know it's dumb i just i think i'm yes i'm a lazy millennial and i wish i could just go online and like fill in when i'm you know when i can go and then press enter and then i can book it that way but um anyways so I'm uh I need to make a dermatologist appointment because maybe I don't know some sort of rash situation happening okay this next TikTok is gonna be so hard not to comment on and like I'm purposely like holding my I'm gonna hold myself back here but the let's just call this segment and this clip like um instead of me how do i say
Starting point is 01:00:43 this instead of me saying something after i play it i'm just gonna be like yeah what she said basically i want to say every single thing she said in this tiktok um like i don't have my i have the same thoughts but she put it in perfect in words perfectly and i just don't want to keep commenting after it because i know that i'm going to fucking spiral out and i'm going to exhaust you as a listener and you probably you're probably going to get annoyed by me because i keep beating this goddamn horse to death um and in my past episodes so i'm going to play this tiktok and i'm going to go okay yes i everything she said like slay on point yes queen whatever and i'm going to move on okay here we go by the way i want to give that doctor credit that um skin
Starting point is 01:01:28 doctor that dermatologist dr scott walter md on tiktok so he's the guy that made that video now this next clip is from um whatever.com what's whatever.com oh whatever dot whatever pod is a dating talk podcast live sunday okay so this is a dating podcast I I've seen a lot of clips from it where they talk dating relationship stuff and people are like you know debating and asking each other questions and there's a lot of like differences of opinions and like ways of looking at the world and dating and men and women so um you've probably seen some of these clips I feel like I every time I open TikTok I see them but I like what um this girl said thank you for having me on her name's jamie um jamie chandler franklin
Starting point is 01:02:33 on tiktok she's a mom she okay well her fucking instagram like this just doesn't help you like your fucking instagram profile pic is a goddamn american flag like it's just like i like what she said that like the oh she's she's in front of a fox news i'm setting you up to like get the gist of this she's in front of is she a news anchor um i don't know she's a mom she's uh christian i believe and she says that in this um very conservative obviously this is the fucking tiktok let me just play it um I'm a huge believer that, like, feminism has completely destroyed our dating culture and has, like, really, I think, negatively impacted women. Marriage is the best possible thing for women.
Starting point is 01:03:29 It is. It truly is. Women do better financially. Men do better financially as well when they're married. There's been, like, you said about this. Married conservative Christian women are the happiest people in society. Amen. I believe that sex is supposed to be between two people who love each other and are committed to each other.
Starting point is 01:03:47 Yeah. And so I think we live in a culture now that has completely degraded that and has made sex transactional. And I think that largely hurts women more than men. And I want to preface this by saying, I believe in, we have the same rights under the eyes of God in America, and I will always fight for that. But I don't think men and women are equal. I don't think you can compare men and women.
Starting point is 01:04:08 I think they're intrinsically different. And so that's my problem with feminism. while they degrade men they also are trying to make women more like men we need more masculinity in the u.s i think men have been degraded in this country and i think they've been torn down and i think they're told that masculinity is toxic masculinity is not toxic masculinity is the most important thing to make a country but there is toxic masculinity traits there's bad traits that men have that are not good but i think women enable that when we have a culture where you sleep around with guys you enable toxic masculinity you enable guys to take advantage
Starting point is 01:04:42 of your body and use you as like a credit card for sex rather than making that man work for you so i think it's like what i find funny is that feminism brings out that so-called toxic masculinity and we allow like the quote-unquote i hate using this word but like really the patriarchy to take advantage of us and use our bodies and instead of work for us build a family with us and treat us with respect and dignity and i'll say this the whole hookup culture allows women to become victims of sexual violence and abuse it's not safe for a woman to meet a man at a bar and go home with him someone she doesn't know someone her friends don't know you put yourself in a very very risky situation doing that but instead feminism instead of talking about that
Starting point is 01:05:27 how that is a huge cause of sexual violence they're encouraging women to do that they're saying go be like a man go have sex with a random guy and women just biologically we have more implications when we have sex with a guy we could become pregnant where we put ourself at risk for sexual abuse and violence and like we talked about earlier women become more attached to men so i think it actually leads a lot of women to depression when they're engaging in this meaningless hookup culture how is it empowering to have sex with a guy that uses your body and then discards you like you're nothing i'm very pro-life because i believe it's such a horrible thing for a woman to kill her own child i think it's against nature i think it's against every
Starting point is 01:06:05 single thing inside of a woman yeah and so that's why it's so important that sex is sacred because there are those implications that men do not have and as women we should be holding men to a higher standard instead of lowering ourselves to theirs yeah i think another aspect of feminism that really bothers me is this obsessive culture of making women go into work and encouraging women to work which i'm a huge fan of like i i love a you know i think we're all americans and we should pursue our dreams in our career but not at the expense of your family and so they're leading women into this corporate life that's so unfulfilling. And it's just like honestly buying into this whole capitalist system where you're just sitting at your desk all day and you leave behind no
Starting point is 01:06:46 legacy and you have no family and there's no fulfillment. And as someone who works and also has a daughter, I will tell you every day of the week, every second of the day, being a mom is way more fulfilling and important to me than whatever career is happening. And that doesn't say that you can't be passionate about your career, but I think there is no focus on that with women and said it's going to the corporate machine work all day freeze your eggs we'll pay for your abortion and I think that's so toxic and detrimental to women okay my wife I kept going in and out so I don't know if I cut that together nicely for you but you get the gist I mean obviously I agree with something she said not everything I don't know where they're getting
Starting point is 01:07:24 you know Christian married Christian mothers I think that's what she said are the most happy and fulfilled people in society like that's what she is and she feels happy but I don't know how you would measure who's happiest in society I've heard also the opposite of that that single mid 30s women or upper 30s or early 40s women with no families are the happiest and they're doing better than anyone else in society so I've heard that like I don't know how you it's like different strokes for different folks right like she's obviously pro-life that's something I'm pro-choice like i don't agree with her on that but some of the basic things she said about like um you know feminism masculinating women and how we need uh more masculinity in society like men need
Starting point is 01:08:14 to be masculine that's good for society and anyways i agree with like that side of things why am i remember how i said i'm not gonna comment on this after i fucking play it i'm just trying to clear up the fact that there's some things i'm like fuck yeah about like she said that perfectly and some things where i'm like you know not exactly on the same page with but um super sharp gal there i mean what's her name again it's um jamie jamie franklin jamie chandler franklin um what are the comments on that again why am i go by my deep diving I wish there were more women with this mindset I feel like we are few and far between the career one hit me leaving my baby to work makes me want to quit daily
Starting point is 01:09:10 we should be holding men to a higher standard rather than lowering ourselves to theirs that's so true like god I've always said that like we don't women just like let men treat us like shit we don't hold them accountable and then they just repeat the behavior because we enable it we enable it and then it's like we we call it toxic masculinity if it's like we're not we're allowing them to just literally treat us like she said like a credit card just use our bodies and yeah um yeah but 100 they're important for both men and women
Starting point is 01:09:55 yeah so anyways just something along the lines of what i've talked about in the past said perfectly by someone else that's something i admire in other people like when they're so on point when they have all of their talking points like lined up and they just spew it out perfectly I'm like that's you know how I'm trying to be I have a little more of a jumble mumble mumbo jumbo mind when I talk and especially when I'm talking about things like that I have to like spew it out on my podcast however it comes out is how you get at the end you know I try my best but I don't claim that I'm a I'm a storyteller yes I'm a entertainer I podcast this is my thing but I'm always learning I'm always growing I'm always trying to improve my
Starting point is 01:10:52 I guess what's the word speech articulation my eloquent being more eloquent when I speak I need to end the podcast I'm getting it's like clammy in here cool all right I hope you enjoyed this episode um thanks for hanging out with me today thanks for taking the time to uh yeah get into my world for a bit because we're in this bitch like three years in i don't know what you don't know like what what else could i talk about like i do think there is something i want to be raw and real about maybe for the next episode um maybe i'll just i'll just say this there's a new leaf behind me on my bird of paradise tree here in my studio um here it's my
Starting point is 01:11:48 I don't know if you can see on camera and this morning let me just say this like I said I'm on my period okay it's that time of the month every time I'm on my period I swear to god I don't know why it's like clockwork I cry sometimes I have a meltdown and I had a meltdown last night in front of Corey and about something that I don't know if I'm like maybe some things need to be talked about publicly some things don't it's not like bad or anything it's just something where I'm like um maybe we'll check in on this after I go talk to someone about it okay um like I'm super aware of this and I'm like trying to like figure it all out in my head which is stupid like i need to go talk to someone anyway so maybe
Starting point is 01:12:34 we'll talk about it at a later date um it kind of has to do with like life chapters and new beginnings and new ends and like my identity and growing and changing and learning and becoming you know i i really i don't this is the deal like i said i'm on my period sometimes i have a fucking breakdown i spiral i overthink but it's literally like a blimp it's like a moment in time and then the next day i'm fine like this is the joke so this morning i fucking wake up like all bright-eyed and cheery cheery bright-eyed and bushy-tailed right it's like a new day i'm up we're going to the gym and i go over to my little tree and i'm like cory i'm like cory look i said i have a new leaf there's a new leaf on my tree oh my god this makes me so happy oh my god i was
Starting point is 01:13:19 just like so happy he's like jokingly he's like jackal he's like honey just keep looking at it okay keep looking at just look at the leaf honey look at the leaf whatever it takes honey for you to have a for you to not have a goddamn breakdown because he went we kind of went through it last night not like fighting or anything I just was like emotional and yeah but um it's crazy how like literally every fucking time I get my period I like have something come up like not I'd say not every time because that's dramatic that suck every single month but it's always something it's just always something like why am I because 99% of the time I'm just going through life on the surface I'm not overthinking deep thinking I'm not trying to
Starting point is 01:14:03 fucking diagnose myself and freak out about who I am like I basically did that last time I was like something is not something's off and it's yeah but I told them today I said you know I think the difference between me now and me in the past or like the way I approach spirals and breakdown mental breakdowns going is that I can separate it out as like uh I don't identify with the thoughts I don't think the thoughts are who I am it's not me I just see them as like thoughts that come in they come and go so I'm really good at that so I told them I'm like me in the past would have taken those thoughts to heart would have grabbed onto them and ran with them and really you know it would which makes it makes your life fucking hell like if you do that so I was like
Starting point is 01:15:00 okay I know it's a new day I had a new leaf sprout and I know I'm not my thoughts I know those are just stupid thoughts and I know I was going through it last night for no fucking reason it just like comes out of nowhere sometimes.
