to podcast. Okay, cool. This is like my favorite. Yeah. Yeah. We talk about all the time. Like
literally this is my favorite morning routine ever, like gym podcast. So, uh, yeah, we have a
great show today and um okay so I have personal life updates I mentioned last week on the show
that um my job my nine-to-five corporate job um basically shit's hitting the fan let's just say
that and I have some updates on that front um I just want to let you know that basically here's
the update um this week my boss got fired so I think like yeah they fired her boss and they
fired her and now there's just like two of us and the director so like no one's in our department
anymore it's so light and weird and yeah like just know that um I think the new era I'm entering
into is gonna be and I and I can't believe I'm saying this if you've started if you started from
day one or like from early on with me you know that this is like so not what I used to say but
like I the next era of my life is gonna be um I'm gonna be entering my sellout era okay I am going
to sell the buck out because, um, I don't think I'm going to be there very much longer.
And, uh, that's, that's just my gut gut feeling. And, um, yeah, so brand deals, uh, sponsorships,
a lot of Tik TOK, uh, Tik TOK, I'll be on Tik TOK shop doing QVC ads. No, I will not. I will
never get it. I think I will, I will never stoop that stoop that low. Like I don't need, I feel
like, yeah, anyways, um, yeah, I'm entering, I'm going to be selling out. So just know that those
paid partnership labels are going to be coming and you might hear ads on the show eventually in
the near future. Um, I should be doing it anyways, right? Like, come on, I've been, I almost have
400 episodes and I've been doing this for over three years. So it's like, it's time, but like
for real it's time because again I don't know how much longer uh it's gonna be until my head
gets chopped off at this company so um testing the water really testing the water publicly talking
about it um but I like to tap toe tip toe tip toe on the edge of danger a lot here anyways with my
um raw uncut bluntness and my harsh what not harsh but like I my opinions and the crazy
should I say so um okay so OJ died we're gonna talk about that because I literally had the okay
OJ Simpson died as you know and I was like wait I only know like two things about OJ Simpson
and so I ended up watching the Netflix Netflix documentary this week on him and now I know like
the full story so I'm going to talk about what happened the trial the whole thing and kind of
like give my thoughts on it because again like I literally so the two things I knew were like
um he obviously like murder all I literally all I knew is like he murdered someone I didn't know
there are two people and I didn't know like how he did it I just knew he was convicted of murder
and got off clean he was acquitted but that's all I knew and then I knew there was like a bronco
chase and then the other thing I knew and this was like I don't know here I'll play this like
I have this memory of OJ Simpson OJ Simpson it's like always in my head whenever he comes up and
it's this. So yeah, like I literally, I think I didn't really understand he was in prison or
anything. So like, I guess he popped on social media after he got out of prison for what was
it like eight years nine years he was in for nine years he served in Nevada from yeah for nine years
in 2008 after he was convicted of 12 counts of armed robbery and cannot being a boba so um yeah
like I have the Bronco chased him ahead he murdered someone he got off clean and he came back on
Twitter and everyone was like this is so odd like OJ Simpson's like hey Twitter world you know and
that's it and then the nelf podcast when they're like you know you know do you ever think they're
gonna find who killed nicole like who who's that guy that i always blank out his name it's like
they all have like where is his name like stingy or some shit like what's his name steezy i don't
know but like he asked that question which was like a very powerful moment and um like podcasting
lore or history so anyways we're gonna talk about OG's death um and I want to touch on like domestic
violence a little bit and just how I perceived that whole situation with him Nicole and yeah
and I have like personal experience where I want to like you know yeah again give my two cents to
kind of go into that a little bit oh we're gonna talk about Coachella because Coachella happened
and um like I said I'm entering my sellout era and I have like this whole I have this complete
or I have had since watching this most recent Coachella Jesus Christ okay hold on one sec
okay wait Coachella's like still going on is it this weekend too wait a minute we're like in the
middle of Coachella but like since so over the last week like seeing everyone post about Coachella
all these influencers like I have a complete completely new mindset about Coachella influencers
and like the whole thing and again this is so like not who I used to be so um yeah we're gonna
talk about Coachella a little bit um Dubai's underwater we don't need to talk about that
because it's like I don't know it's pretty straightforward it's underwater and allegedly
they did what is cloud uh fueling what do they call it like um seating where they like make
rain artificially anyway so yeah Dubai is underwater um and then okay we're not gonna
talk about that but it is happening oh my god uh finally oh wait the other thing god I'm such a
this is gonna be like so uncalled for to say but like um Caitlin Clark right she just got what a
75 000 contract with like the indiana oil where what is the name of the team it's like wait they
all have like stupid names um caitlyn clark i think nike's gonna give her like an eight-figure
deal though so she'll she'll be fine um contract yeah she
she's going to a team in the wma that's what i know and she got a like a 76 000 contract um but
like all i have to say is like stop trying to make women's basketball happen and i know that
sounds harsh but like this is gonna be a thing for another week and then it's just like it'll
die out and i honestly think like yeah more people want to go watch her play it'll be a thing i've
talked about women's basketball before and like I'm a former women's basketball player myself
that was my main sport in high school I didn't go to college and play like the thing is is like
I respect it I can respect her talent I've seen her play I've watched all the videos you know
like I'm I've nerded out to Caitlin Clark enough where I'm like okay she's good the numbers are
the numbers she's amazing but like at the end of the day it's just it's not fun to watch like it's
just not like it's like it's just not so um especially when you go from like watching an
NBA game to whatever I'm sounding so like again I have yeah I have a whole entire hater segment
um I guess this is included in it um I have two topics in my things I hate yeah I shouldn't call
it my hater segment I should call it my like strong opinion segment I don't know but yeah like
I think this is great for women's basketball like don't get me wrong but it's gonna literally
be a thing in a week um yeah so what did I tell Corey I was like and he's like he always fights
me or he doesn't fight me on this but like he thinks I'm being a little too you know
harsh about this whole Caitlin Clark thing and the WNBA and women's basketball but like
I'm like it's like watching what did I say I was like watching women's basketball is like
when you go from watching like NBA you know Golden State versus Denver and then you're watching that
and you're seeing how they play and you're like sitting there and then you go watch a WNBA game
it's like watching I had the best analogy it was like going from
damn it it was really good I don't know it was kind of also like uncalled for and I should get
off this topic because I already feel like I'm being mean so Caitlin Clark uh
she's awesome amazing I really have nothing bad to say but like literally just I don't know
it's never gonna be fun to watch for me personally like this is just me and again I'm saying this as
a former basketball player I remember and the reason I'm saying this is because literally I
remember like I'd be in a game like a really intense game you know I'm like a point guard or
whatever and I'm like dribbling the ball down the court and make a cool pass and then I like
you know someone passes it back to me and I shoot a three and then I go watch the film of that game
and I remember like cringing at my own film and being like oh my god we look so like slow and like
bad like this is just like oh my god like it always made me like cringe for myself even though
when I was out there I'm like yeah I'm going super fast I passed this ball great like it's
like it never translated on video and especially probably not for the spectators of people watching
so um I don't know that like women's sports are it's a vibe because it's like women have this
like ferociousness about them and like they're like they're more I feel like scrappy than men
especially like women's basketball players so there's like a fun part of watching women's
basketball because of that or like a that's like a unique thing to women's yeah sport but especially
basketball so I don't know anyways moving on to um yeah like okay should I I'll just do the job
update a little bit I kind of already did but like yeah they fired my boss I got a surprise
call that was like hey can I do a quick 15 minutes of chat and I was like oh shit oh shit I'm getting
and I thought I was gonna I'm just like assuming at any point I'm gonna get fired and they're like
yeah yesterday was her last day and I just want to let you know before you hear it from anyone else
and blah blah and you know I've only been at this company for like a year and change like eight
months almost I'm going on two years but um yeah it's weird you're just like and my boss was there
for like 30 years and the guy that her boss was there for like I don't know 15 maybe 25 years I
can never remember in my head but um it's crazy how they can just cut you just like in an instant
and you're done and everything you knew for the last 30 years she's got to feel free though like
she's got to feel free I I'm that's how I would take it I know she'll go away thinking that
thinking of this as a positive and she's kind of it's the kind of person she is but um yeah it's a
weird time and um yeah I'm basically like mentally like this really affects I'm just again I've said
this many times as when I've talked about my job here I'm like and the whole like situation over
the last couple months I'm like what happens as as an employee you just kind of mentally start
checking out because you're like everything is so different now all of my tasks are different
my management's different everyone's like everything's changing and it's just like you're
you I think some people are like willing to be like okay yeah like let's rebuild this thing and
like you know I'll help with help the new hires and train them on what to do all because you know
my entire team is basically down with just me and one other person so but I just don't I'm just not
that kind of girl it's just not who I am so um you could probably predict the future and without
saying it um yeah just know that I'm gonna be I'm gonna have to enter my I'll be forced to be
uh to sell out here in the near future because of what I'm anticipating uh that's gonna happen
in my career so yeah I talked a lot about it last week and just like the
bullshit of the corporate world corporate world and the fakeness of it and um yeah I'm kind of
feeling like, yeah. Um, what else is happening? Okay. Yeah. So OJ died of prostate cancer. He
was cremated, um, died of prostate cancer after being diagnosed last year, died on April 10th
this year. So that was, that's crazy. Uh, Simpson died on April 10th after being diagnosed with
cancer for prostate cancer last year um his remains were cremated Wednesday morning at
approximately 10 a.m so I don't know it's just weird and again like I knew nothing so then I was
like curious and like okay so well the only literally the only reason I became curious is
because I turned on Netflix and like the number one documentary or the number one show this week
was like the OJ Simpson documentary and I guess that thing won a ton of awards and it was really
well done I love a good crime documentary good yeah so um it came out back in I think 2016 but
anyways I want to get into what I think went wrong with the trial and the whole situation
and I kind of want to get into a Nicole a little bit and I touched on this in the beginning and
domestic violence and my take on like what I'll take I'll explain my experience with observing
people that allow domestic violence to happen over and over and over again and like how because I
observed that how I'm going to how I have decided how I've made a conscious decision to have a
zero tolerance policy for that in my life when I uh what I'm engaged now and getting married and
in my dating career that was something from like day one in my 20s like early 20s that was like uh
yeah again like a zero tolerance policy non-negotiable because of what I witnessed and so
I just want to talk about yeah a little bit of Nicole and his relationship and something I think
the trial got wrong or like the prosecution got wrong with um talking about her so i don't know
if you're familiar with the oj simpson uh murder case and everything but it's obviously one of the
most iconic uh trials in history like it had everyone glued to the tv for months right like
everyone was on the edge of their seat about this OJ Simpson trial um there's a crazy statistic
by the way when he was getting chased in a bronco which was literally like a motorcade like I thought
the bronco chase because again I had like a couple little nuggets of I of information in my head
about this but like I didn't know it in detail but I thought the chase was like a high-speed chase
like they're fucking chasing him no they're fucking chasing him I'm trying to be better at
that sorry um literally it was like a motorcade for a politician like they were just following
him slowly on the freeway and I and I found out later it's because he had a gun to his head or
like he had a gun and they were just trying to like you know keep him from offing himself so
um yeah so iconic trial um this is back in the 90s I'm gonna get the dates wrong I believe it
was 94 ish 1994 ish when this all went down maybe 95 during I don't know but um early 90s early to
mid 90s and so the things that I okay the thing okay so he I guess I should describe what happened
he had a history with Nicole his wife and they I'm gonna get these details wrong but like they
had an often on and off relationship they had two kids they were married and then they like
divorced or separated and they got back together because he said he was going to change and or he
he's a changed man and blah blah but there is like a back and forth to their relationship and
a history of physical abuse where you know she had she called the cops on him on multiple occasions
and um you know on the one occasion it's interesting the the cop that they completely
plastered and destroyed during trial Furman um he actually showed up before to their house when
he came after her with a baseball bat so like he had witnessed this before where OJ had gotten
belligerent and full of rage and you know beat her up or was it a was uh what's it called
threatening to or whatever he had witnessed it and then you know years later however long it
was there he shows up in there she's you know beheaded basically uh he it was a gnarly uh
stabbing murder so um but yeah their relationship was not smooth and the way the documentary painted
their relationship was like he was obsessive about her but felt like he couldn't have her
and she was like unattainable and he was a super jealous guy like whenever she when they like broke
up and she would date other guys who's super jealous and get like really angry and like
follow them home and like watch them have sex through their through her windows and like yeah
so his whole vibe was like rage jealousy but then he had this charismatic oj like showman side where
in a you know switch of a switch of the lights when a flip of a dime in a hold on in a
split split second he could go back into you know mr hollywood you know and just turn it off
and here's the thing he's a football player for usc star football player he's he grew up in i
believe where did he grow up forget where he grew up but he grew up in the hood basically and his
dad was gay and i guess that i missed so i honestly i checked into this documentary i don't know how
many episodes inquiry was but like i missed this the the part about oj's childhood and like
his upbringing and his football i kind of i i started watching it during the um
when like building up to when the murder happened and his relationship with nicole so
um but yeah so these things that his childhood it wasn't perfect but like he became this star
football player and then celebrity guy um because of it did he play in the NFL I fuck see again I
only knew like two things before I watched his documentary so I'm just gonna speak from what I
remember um but let's speak let's fast forward to the murder so uh there was some sort of
recital for their kid I believe he he attended it with Nicole and maybe her mom again this is a
little fuzzy but basically they had gone to this recital thing and then OJ went home I believe and
then wasn't invited to dinner so they went to dinner at a restaurant after the recital with
like the mom Nicole and the daughter the son I don't know which one it was and then um long story
short they went home everyone like after dinner they all went home and they Nicole called the
restaurant I think and said like hey my mom left her glasses at the restaurant can you bring them
by the house which is a weird ask but I think later what we found out is that Ron the other
guy that was murdered with Nicole worked at the restaurant I don't know if he owned it or it
seemed like it was like his dream to have this restaurant basically he um on the night of the
murder had brought the glasses in an envelope to her house and dropped them off and when he had
done that that's when OJ was there and he was you know stabbing the shit out of her and then he got
out and you know you know that like they both obviously died and right then and there and um
so yeah it was this chain of events that was a little bit like he attended the recital with
Nicole and her mom and I'm assuming again fuzzy but we're gonna just kind of keep it basic here
and then yeah she went home called the restaurant to have him bring the glasses
to the house and then oj alleged i'm he did it fucking he did it like come on uh somebody came
to the house and slitter throw and stab the shit out of her and ron and i'm not trying to be morbid
and graphic and insensitive here but like they in the documentary and now i'm it's just like
goddamn videos of war that i see all over my social media now and like what's going on
know what's going on in Israel and Gaza but like now I have that permanently in my head what it
looks like for a throat to be completely slashed and like I just didn't I didn't realize how like
the skin would do that I guess but they showed it in this documentary and yeah it was gnarly and
so sad and so horrible. And as you know, like he was acquitted. So like
all of this just sucks overall, but here are the things that I believe went wrong in the OJ
Simpson trial. Number one, the glove, obviously when Chris, the prosecutor prosecution lawyer
had asked OJ to try on the glove, we all know that it didn't fit. And that was like a dumb
move on his part because the jurors said during this documentary they're like yeah we would have
assumed it would fit him because it was a big glove like we would have assumed that
so I believe they had defense attorneys were kind of fucking with them and basically alluding to
like they're gonna have him try it on or like if you don't we'll make him or something like that
they're kind of being they're taunting him about it or taunting the prosecutors about the glove
situation and so they made a game-time decision to have him um
i think actually the defense attorneys were anticipating they were going to have him try
on the glove and that's why he didn't take his arthritis medicine for two weeks which
swelled his fingers so but also with the glove so that what went wrong what went wrong was
having oj simpson and the glove you don't know anything about the glove it's the glove that was
found at nicole's house on at the murder scene and at oj's house like in on the side of the
house somewhere just in some rocks so glove at the murder scene matches the glove at his house like
you know what the fuck it's like clear as day like come on like how does that just like happen
and all of their blood was on it and yeah so everything about this is like i i cannot believe
he was acquitted and like i just now that i watched the documentary and saw the whole story i'm like
this is insane and I get why everyone says that so yeah it was a total mistake to have him try on
the glove and um the other thing that went wrong in the trial was Furman first of all this whole
thing they they pulled a race card out and said we're gonna make the defense attorneys were like
we're gonna create this narrative that this everything about this had to do with um race
and the fact that oj's a black man and you know they're making him out to be this murderer because
he's black and then this was during the era of rodney king and it was right after this that
happened so that was obviously in oj's favor but the thing about oj and the thing that i learned
during the documentary is that he didn't really associate with being black and being he just
he just didn't you know until after the fact literally it's like he literally was like i'm
to go hang out at uh roscoe's waffles or whatever it's called and like eat chicken and waffles with
black people now so i can like you know learn more about my culture i don't know it's so weird he was
like going to churches and where where it was just like a all black people church or all attendees
were black basically i mean it's not like white people can't go there like it's just that's just
who shows up all these black people and like he's putting on like african garb and hats and like
and it was just so odd but yeah up so that's why I was like this is so dumb because it's it's like
they made it a thing they made they pulled that race card in there they used it the entire trial
and it became about that and it the number one thing for me about this was
they didn't they they got into the story so much especially about racism racism from the cops
because like Furman right like he was saying the n-word left and right and there was all these
people that had um Furman was the cop that uh was when he was on what did they they basically
said that he planted the glove and the reason why they said he planted the glove and they
completely made that up out of thin air is because he had a past of saying the n-word
and there were like 10 interviews they did where people could say they witnessed him he's saying
that and then there are all these tapes of him saying that and being super racist so they basically
yeah framed him or what do you call it um yeah framed him like made him out to be this like
racist cop who planted the gloves so OJ would get convicted of murder and go to jail because
he hated black guys allegedly and you know they just but again they just made that up
so in my opinion i mean this is just everything felt like such a reach you know but that's what
the defense attorney they called them they called them the dream team like they were like the best
of the best you know um i believe bill bailey is it his name is helping diddy now is that his name
he's like a legend uh he is
i listened to him on the pbd podcast
benjamin brafman why do i keep saying bill bailey wait a minute
bill bailey is that some totally different guy
attorney
that's not who it is benjamin wait
benjamin brafman isn't that crazy how my brain does that benjamin the whole time like that's
Bill Bailey, the old guy there on the screen.
Benjamin.
Brafman, yeah.
Brafman.
Hmm.
It's not who I'm thinking of.
Was it?
OJU's attorneys.
Defense attorneys.
Sorry, intermission.
we're looking this up because i really want to know this for real what the dream team
oh my god i'm like i'm struggling right now wait we got uh fucking we know rob card or
yeah kardashian oh my god so many pop-ups asking me if i subscribe to this
news site I'm done okay literally okay let's get let's get back to it so
what was I covering I was covering the glove that went wrong
Furman the uh the fact that he testified they shouldn't have done that and the fact that he
pled the fifth when they asked him did you plant the glove it's like he pled the fifth he could
have said no I'm not a racist and no I didn't plant the glove like he had he should have had
some i don't know like just yeah that was just stupid um and then yeah the glove and here's the
thing here's the thing i'm all over the place i apologize um i don't apologize i need to stop
apologizing for thinking i'm not tired of work because i'm really not i'm just like you know
trying to remember things in my head but this is a nail in the coffin for me and this is what i
don't understand blood in his bronco blood in his bronco that there was blood in his bronco
that had all three of their dna in it or whatever it was all through their blood there's uh blood
on the scene with oj's blood was on at the crime scene in his bronco i believe on the glove
in what and so that's the whole thing for me it's like that's obvious if i was a juror i'd be like
oh that's that's it for me like there isn't a situation you could and i know i know it's like
innocent until proven guilty and you have to prove like you have to and that's the thing it's
that evidence though is such a yeah nail in a coffin in the coffin for me because it's like
and here's the thing here's the thing this is what they fucked up to this is what went wrong
in my opinion the prosecution I don't think they did a good job talking about Nicole and OJ and
their past they didn't really set up that part of the story very well because if I was a juror and
I heard yeah he had um you know beaten her and there's pictures of her face they're all fucked
up and that he had a past of yeah beating his wife and I was aware of that and then if they
went into Nicole and her life a little more it's like what was the motive like who who were Nicole's
enemies like why would someone come and do this out of the blue you know in the middle of the
night that part of it wasn't really talked about it was just like if you know what I mean so
they didn't do a good job I think talking about their relationship the domestic violence and
physical abuse and then the fucking cop heard him say forget his name that oh he told oj that he had
or oj told him that he had dreams of killing nicole and then they the fucking defense attorneys
are smart you know little smart asses are like well you're an alcoholic so basically anything
you say we're not gonna you know how could anyone trust you because you have a past being an
alcoholic and you were a womanizer and would allegedly said that if if OJ wasn't with Nicole
then you would have your shot with her or something so they just they were so good they
were so good you know what I mean like they were they were good at what they did at their job they
were so good and um the prosecution flopped and um yeah they shouldn't they shouldn't should not
have had him try on the glove and first of all he had a latex glove on underneath it and like
the slipperiness of it was all off because of the the latex resisting the I don't know it was all
stupid um I don't know if you guys again I don't know if you know anything about this trial and
what happened but like I'm learning about it for the first time this week and I'm just so like
floored and um I really knew nothing about OJ Simpson and the whole thing until literally like
a week ago so when he died so and honestly here's the other things that went wrong yeah okay the
blood like in what world are all three people in the same vicinity at all three places in the
bronco at her house and at his house exchanging blood and slitting I don't know like getting
bloody together spewing blood getting cutting themselves I don't know how that would happen
but in as a juror like how would that be possible unless someone murdered them and then here's the
fucked up part one of the jurors was like here's the fucked up part one of the jurors was like yeah
she basically was like yeah pretty much like 90 percent of us she used the term or the number 90
percent she goes yeah I would say 90 percent of us uh came up with uh or said he was not guilty
because of the whole Rodney King situation and what had been going on with cops and black people
and racism at the time and they said it was basically out of like retaliation um so what
the fuck you know what I mean like you're and then one of them was a black panther so like you're
it was gonna be I honestly think like even if they didn't have him try on the glove even if
Furman didn't testify like
I don't know and the evidence is so like obviously and that's the thing with these trials it's like
they get into the weeds so much it because it became like the Furman trial and this cop and
his him being a racist it had that has nothing to do with the fact that Nicole's throat was slit
and like what happened that night and what's the evidence around that night and like at the scene
and at oj's house and in his car it's like but you know he was the thing is is he i believe he had
murdered murdered them and obviously uh had a limo uh driver already arranged to pick him up and
bring him to the airport to fly to chicago so technically he like he was out but there was
like a time frame where they came home from the restaurant he went there did what he did and then
got out of there that was all pre-planned he had cut on his finger and then the cop the one cop
that was you know allegedly a drunk ass and he heard OJ say that OJ had dreams about killing
Nicole he heard three different stories about in like the same night I forget the context of the
situation but he basically OJ basically came up with like three stories about why he had cut on
finger and like oh I cut it opening my car door I was I don't know fiddling around with something
and I cut it and then he said another thing it's like all in the same and I think the cop I forget
his name but when OJ told him that he just had this like pit like you know so but yeah I honestly
don't think they explained Nicole's life and why someone would do that because there's it's like I
always think of yeah motive like what would cause someone to go and do that what would be their
the reasoning behind that and they just really I feel like they didn't explore that during trial
enough and um anyways honestly and the other thing that's so blatantly obvious is his reaction it was
so off like never said anything about his poor kids you know growing up without their mother now
and he didn't shed a single tear it was all about himself he made the whole thing the fucking
bronco chase was all about himself oh i'm gonna kill myself it was just so like gross and obvious
that you know like who does that you don't it's just you know so yeah that his reaction was so
off the bronco chase is so off um just the trial itself like what other things happened during the
trial that went wrong like they were just out out class out school the prosecution was they were
just the the dream team those guys were too good and again they just like make shit up but that
works in a trial like this like that's what you have to do it's either you make a bunch of shit
up and you convince the jury that he's not guilty or he goes to prison for the rest of his life so
you know you're incentivized to fabricate shit and bullshit stuff and say like oh just because
this cop had all these like this passive saying the n-word and being a you know racist openly
racist or in his personal life or whatever it was i forget exactly but that you think he put a glove
in a plastic bag and like went into oj's house and like dropped it off and planted the evidence so
the cops do do that they do that with guns you know they plant guns a lot and try to get people
in trouble that way and I don't know a lot but um now let's talk about domestic violence here
because and I'll keep this kind of brief but Nicole was a battered woman she was
beaten up by oj time and time again there was a lot of audio you know when she'd call
911 there's audio of her or audio of oj just screaming at the top of his lungs
and without getting into too much detail about my life my life experience around
men being belligerent and violent and full of rage
um watching this documentary and witnessing this kind of brought back home to me this idea
that I've had and it's been with me now for a good 10 years of my of my life my entire 20s
it's been with me about like self-worth like I know this is going to be like one of those
things now but because i can't compare myself to what nicole experienced with oj i'm not doing
that i'm basically saying okay she was clearly clearly in a domestically violent situation
a physically abusive situation with oj and she had two kids and something i know about marriage
and kids is that kids make everything more complicated right everyone knows that and
that's a huge reason why women stay in domestically abusive relationships for a long time way past
you know they way way too long it's because of the kids and they want their two parents together
and they're willing to sacrifice their physical health their mental health their every the even
the kids health they're subjecting the kids to that environment I don't think women realize that
in the situation until like maybe after the fact but they're willing to do that so that the family
unit can stay together right and so in Nicole and OJ's situation with their two kids like clearly
that's what complicated complicated it for her because she crawled back and
I just have almost a robotic approach to domestic violence and love and being in love
because when I weigh out the pros and cons there's no pros of domestic violence but when I
see the costs on a person's health and their quality of life and their mind
when they're when they stay in a domestically violent situation I just I don't think it's
worth it no matter how in love you are with a person no matter how much you're you want your
kids to have a dad you know for me and this is the part that's like very uh
like something I value a lot or something that's like really um
like one of my core value yeah core values about relationship is that and again this
might sound super robotic and like emotionless in a way but
and I feel grateful that I I I the reason I have this mindset is because of what I experienced
growing up without again without getting into all the weeds and the details like
I experienced domestic violence growing up and I witnessed a parent stay in it way too long
basically so um I was a kid in that environment I observed what happened and so now because of
that experience on the other side I have I think a really
just like clear mindset on what a woman should tolerate in a marriage and um
and for herself and her life. So
I am fortunate enough to, I'm, I'm in, I've been, okay, hold on.
Basically, I entered, I basically, I entered my dating years after shit hit the fan with my
parents so I just witnessed this shit storm of divorce and you know all the things that went
sideways and I basically made a pact with myself or like a yeah I basically went into my dating
years with the mindset that I will not tolerate abuse physical emotional
any any form of abuse at all like it's an absolute non-negotiable non-negotiable for me
and I have a zero tolerance policy that means and this is the part that might sound like cold
and like extreme but that means if it happens once I'm out so and and that I'm also applying
to or I've also thought of okay those are those are you know that's my mindset for my dating years
when I'm you know just me and a guy but I also early in my 20s thought okay someday when I get
married and I have kids even in that situation it will be a non-negotiable because I don't have a
zero tolerance policy for it so if it happens once I'm out and so with Nicole and OJ and a lot of
women across the world when they're in that situation unless you've experienced it before
and you've witnessed a family member a friend friend of the family and aunt and whatever if
you've witnessed it if you haven't had that experience what happens to a lot of women is
they're just in it and they don't think this way they don't have these standards for themselves and
these like non-negotiables for men and abuse because it's kind of all they know especially
women that have had that it's all they know because that's what they witnessed their dad
do to their mom and now they are dating someone and then marry someone who's also doing it to
them so it's it's almost like normal for them and it's almost like you know what I mean so
that's why I feel grateful and fortunate that I have um that experience under my belt with
domestic violence and I'm super this is the whole thing with my podcast it's like I've had all this
I faced all this adversity I've had this crazy past this crazy childhood and now I can I feel
like my calling and something that I can help people with is sharing my story and sharing the
nuggets of wisdom that um I've learned along the way you know like it's like a strength at this
point it's it's something that I can help people with so basically at all costs or or I have a zero
tolerance policy for any form of abuse any meaning that if it happens once I'm out and I've said this
I've made this a I've made this pact myself since I started dating in my early 20s like seriously
dating guys and getting into like serious relationships so I believe underneath all of
that what I just said as hard as it is I think having that mindset is like the highest form of
self-worth a woman can have because as women we're vulnerable obviously with men overpowering us
being stronger than us being especially if they're like the provider and we're relying on
them for their money or their our lifestyle and whatever like there's this power dynamic and so
women just by default and most in a lot of situations i can't say every situation obviously
they're yeah they're vulnerable and they're weaker obviously physically and so um that's
that's a component of self-worth as a woman that if you don't really think about that
then you're going to be beaten up battered fucking abused and
you're and then you just you become a shell of who you are that's what abuse does to women
now i haven't i haven't i haven't had physical i've never experienced physical abuse
I've definitely experienced emotional psychological stuff manipulation by a narcissist and that shit
is almost it's as bad as I mean it's not none of it's great being beat up and like fucking getting
your head stomped in is like the pain of that I don't think is comparable to psychological pain
like it's a completely different type of pain but it's all bad and again if you're a woman and you
have that high form of self-worth and self-love and respect for yourself and those standards of
like I will not tolerate this at all cost meaning if it happens once I'm out then it you're gonna
flourish in your life and you're gonna get away from that even if you have kids even if you have
all this baggage like you're gonna be so much better off if you just get out of it and it's a
hard thing but it's something that if you go in to relationships with that kind of mindset and that
kind of like yeah non-negotiable you're gonna be set up so much better than if you're a woman who
doesn't really think about it and then and then finds herself in it and then has got all these
emotions and the I love him and I've got these kids and I have this life and you're not thinking
clearly and so that's like my rudder you know what I mean like you have to have a rudder in a
relationship like when things start staring off too far and you're like I don't like who I am
you are and i feel i i'm getting beat up every day and he's mean to me and you gotta get back
on the straight path and get back to who you are what you will tolerate and what you stand for and
what you know and get back to your self-worth because but i because i i just mentioned i had
i had gone through um psychological abuse manipulation by a narcissist all that narcissist
all that stuff it's crazy because that girl that younger version of me in my early 20s
didn't know what she didn't know I didn't know what I didn't know and I was just in it right
and so it's like you almost and it sucks because you have to like go through that experience to
figure all this out so that's why I'm here today I'm like I want to tell I want to give you this
kind of plant this seed in your mind and share this mindset because it might be that this is
going to sound extreme it might save your life someday it might save your life someday and in
nicole and oj's case by her staying around him and and being in his life
and going back to him and because of the kids and because she loved him because of whatever
the case was you know I'm not justifying this obviously is not like oh well she deserved it's
not like oh she deserved it no it's it cost her her life so that's just how like honestly that
was like the biggest takeaway from the documentary the OJ Simpson documentary for me because
I go to I go to like the root cause and the core of things and what you're looking at here and I
didn't even talk about Ron and him getting murdered but what you're looking at here is
a woman who was murdered right obviously Ron was too but I'm talking about Nicole
she was murdered and that's horrible but I go into like the root cause of that like why is a
woman like that murdered what was it that not that she played or it's not that she was she
didn't she didn't do anything wrong necessarily it's just like the people you get into relationships
with like it's like you cannot let them abuse you in any form and if they do at one time you
gotta leave that's my and it's something and so I'm so passionate about this again because of my
own personal life experience what I witnessed as a kid growing up like so yeah that's kind of the
that's kind of the end of the OJ segment here because I mean
god it's like it's heavy and I get it gets me like not emotional I just get like really
passionate about it because I see I see so clearly how
like having how like your mindset as a woman in relationship or like your you have to sit
with yourself and be super present and like get clear about what you will tolerate and what you
won't and you have to think about it like I think about it and the only reason I think about it and
I've done all this work is because I fucking experienced it before and I'm like I don't want
that for myself at all costs same with an alcoholic like it can never if I get a tinge like I remember
early dating like if I got a single tinge of like this guy's got an alcohol problem
I don't even I don't go to the date too I don't entertain it
so and and here's the thing here's the lesson this is the deep the deep underneath all this
stuff it comes down to self-worth in my opinion it's all about like loving yourself enough to
walk away loving yourself enough to only allow for positive people positive relationships positive
jobs positive everything like suffering you do not have to suffer in this life you don't and it's up
to you and it's it's about what you tolerate and um that's really what it comes down to
but you gotta you you have to think about it and again you don't know what you don't know so like
unfortunately life's full a lot of lessons right and um it's easy it's like I think a lot of times
you gotta you have to uh go through the pain to experience the joy
you know what i mean so uh you gotta fuck it's tough
but hopefully that pain isn't you getting murdered you know like nicole like literally
you so anyways that's again that's the oj segment the domestic violence segment i
Yeah, I definitely, I kind of tiptoe around my childhood and abuse because, I don't know, it's not like, I think I have a lot to share or I have a lot I can help people with in regards to that topic, you know, I have a lot of insights on it.
And then this is probably one of, I think this is my biggest insight on abuse and domestic violence.
for women like having that super intense core like deep to your soul non-negotiable or zero
tolerance policy excuse me for abuse like it should never exist like this is the thing
there's no reason and this is why like I'm currently engaged and I'm with my best friend
and everything's like peachy and loving and amazing and like we both don't we both believe
there's no reason for us to scream and yell at each other and rip each other's heads off and
get personal like one of the things we do not do is we don't do personal attacks we do not do
name calling we don't make jokes that are mean about each other we don't nothing's personal
it's it's just it never there's no need for it like we're so healthy and so on the same page
and so we communicate so well and we love each other so much that it's like
and because I've experienced this I know it's possible like I think I'm and this is what I
think healthy relationships teach you is that it's possible it's like it's out there it can it does
exist it's a I don't like to say it's rare I don't think it's I think I think it's actually
really common I want to say like like healthy positive relationships are common don't think
they're rare and don't stain something because you think this is the best you're gonna get
don't settle for a fucking abuser and an asshole and someone who makes you feel like shit
so god damn it this is how I know he's the love of my life do you want to go to the Padres game
and sit in box seats
with our friend
I won't say their names
but
please
god yes
thank you
hopefully I don't black out
this year
like I don't want to see
this is how quickly
I can change the topic
get a text about
going to a baseball game
and sitting in really nice seats
and
getting
free drinks
the whole time
last year
I went to the Padres game
I forget
if it was opening day
I don't remember what day it was
or what game
but
we had
cut water cut water margaritas flowing the whole time and like there it was it was one of those
times I'm not super proud of this and this only happens like this happens like never maybe like
once every five to six years but it was one of those nights where the next day I looked at my
camera roll and I was like I don't fucking remember any of this I had pictures of me and
Corey pictures of me you know like nice like instagrammable like hey I'm at the baseball
game pictures selfies in the bathroom videos of me and Corey videos of other people talking
pictures of me with other people like it was wild so I love a baseball game I love um you know a
nice box seat situation with really good food and drinks going um so I guess we're gonna go to the
Padres game all right let's talk about let's get off of this dark murder shit and domestic
violence shit let's talk about Coachella okay let's talk about Coachella because
I've had a total mindset shift about influencers and um do I think I'm telling myself what I want
here because I'm desperate or I I'm not desperate I'm um gonna be forced pretty soon here to enter
my sellout era because I'm probably not gonna have a job anymore and I need brand deals yes
absolutely it's in the back of my mind and I think this is influencing why my mindset is shifting and
why I'm like you know what I think I have to think this way now I think I'm gonna be forced to think
this way now because of my careers change my career possible in the near future career change
and jobless situation but with that being said uh I have a new thought and a new mindset about
influencers and Coachella and brand deals and tagging the brand and you know posting a paid
partnership tiktok or whatever like here's where i'm at it is what it is at this point it is what
it is i used to fight it so hard i used to mock influencers i used to shit on them and say you
know they're fake they're phony they're a bunch of sellouts like they don't have any morals and
they're just a lot of like sleazy people out there being influencers and just frolicking around
really doing nothing just posting hot pictures and you know plugging products all day and
living in their la mansions with 15 other hot people and just living this crazy ass lifestyle
while they're driving fucking lamborghinis and shit so like my mindset about influencers has
always kind of been negative like the quintessential like la influencer let's just
put it in that box obviously there's an array of archetypes influencer archetypes but it's 2024
okay we've been doing this long enough now where I think I finally literally as a month ago as of a
month ago uh I think like everyone's on everyone's in on the gig now that's what it is like you see
an influencer post a product acting all like you know like i love liquid death it's my favorite
sparkling water oh my god like let me take a sip like they're kind of acting like ditzy or whatever
but it's kind of like everyone's like in on the gig it's almost like i'm not even bothered by that
tone of voice anymore or that way of being when they're plugging a product i'm just like
that's how the that's just how it is that's just how it's done now you know like i'm not gonna be
like oh that person's fake or oh they're so a lot no it's like they're just that's their career
that's their profession it's literally not a profession like a doctor or lawyer
so yeah like personally because I have this new mindset shift about influencers and like
because I just I'm saying this because of Coachella literally all these hot people are
there with a brand tagging the brand the whole time going to these like parties with brands and
you know like the poosh lounge whatever poosh bus what was it poosh can't poosh
or you know there was courtney kardashian's brand and then there's the revolve like
was dj khaled there who the was it t-pain rapping at the revolve stage or something i don't know
like and um hold on i'm gonna because i just mentioned liquid death i'm gonna give it a
a swig because I'm I'm an influencer now and I gotta I'm I don't know I'm actually very
wait hold on
I'll get back to the influencer topic topic in two seconds
wait a minute like actually wait a minute
okay this sucks
they're not gonna work for me now you want my honest review
I should have gotten a plain liquid death like it's not bad
but I have bubbly lime sparkling waters and like LaCroix limes the bubbly ones are better
in my fridge right now and like I would prefer that over this this tastes like
it's reminding me of my childhood it's like a popsicle like a almost like a
sour apple popsicle did they make lime otter pops it's an it's a it's like a lime otter pop
it's actually good it's just like it doesn't do the sparkly thing like bubbly sparkly water does
so anyways uh I need to try the I need to try the regular one
like it's drinkable it's good I'm not like it's not like oh it's gross but it's just not as good
as my other sparkling water honest review cheers liquid up okay so everyone's at Coachella the
brand everyone's posting with the brand blah blah like I saw it this year for the first time
with a positive mindset I was like yeah that tracks like yeah you're influencer you're going
to Coachella you're you know there with a beauty brand or a lifestyle brand or whatever and I'm
like that's just how it is now like cool great I don't care if you're there for free I don't care
if they're paying you a bunch of money like that's just your career and there's hot people are always
going to be in demand and because brands use hot people to promote their brand and sell their
products like it's this perfect storm and Coachella is such a great place for all of them to like hang
out once a year like it looks they look great like it's everything's popping and pretty and
like the backdrops and the setups and the tents with the yoga setup where you're going to do your
yoga in the morning and then you're going to go have this beautiful brunch and then you're going
to go and take your pictures at the pool here and you're going to go to the concert like it's great
so because I have this new mindset shift that's positive about influencers I finally as an as an
influencer slash I'm like I'm like on the fence right like I feel like I've always been on the
fence I'm fully ready now to sell out and like join them like put me in coach give me a product
liquid death is probably never gonna want to work for me now but literally like let's go like let's
go like I am so cut out for this job it's like not even funny and so like that's why I think I'm
going through and I think this is because we're at an Aries season we just had the eclipse and I
guess like a lot of life changes happen in April and I feel that I feel that so hard for myself
because like yeah like April like every year I feel like something like shifts for me so like
yeah I'm I'm like ready to take this leap of faith and like go and do it because I'm so cut
out for it I love obviously podcasting and entertaining and like put a product in my hand
like literally I'm ready put me in coach like we're doing it oh shit
so that's where i'm at with coachella influencers like um
yeah i used to be so judgy but like now i'm not even mad about it i'm like
i just yeah i don't know why i feel like but then you know what here's the deal too and this is why
you just got to find your tribe find your people like hold on this is the same this is the part of
podcast where i ask if i'm recording and we are currently recording cool um this is the thing
i do hear a lot of chatter about everyone's over influencers everyone's like over it they're over
it they're over it but here's what i know about human behavior in 2024 like we are literally all
on our phones like i i have i have not and it's like proving around like i my grandma has a higher
screen time than I probably do like everyone's on their phones everyone's like even if you can't
see them even if you're cringed out and annoyed oh my god all they do is plug products all day
and shop and they're overly they're over consuming products and they're being annoying and fake and
I hate the sound their voice when they talk whatever you're watching them and everyone's
addicted to watching other people's lives and keeping up their life and getting inspo from
their life and like that's just the rhythm of society right now so in my opinion I'm like great
if that's where the attention's flowing I want to be on the other side of that shit I want to be on
your phone right so hi subscribe to my podcast follow me on Instagram and talk when you're out
like oh we got to talk about my Instagram actually I do want to touch on a call I had a business call
about my social media something I learned like a tip about Instagram and the algorithm yesterday
so anyways putting it just mentally checking that off but yeah I'm like I just want to I feel like
I've already carved this space out on the internet with this podcast like where I have people's
people's attention there like I just want to be obnoxious no I'm kidding so yeah moving on let's
go into things I am like annoyed by or like something I'm just hating on right now or
something I have these are things I have a strong opinion about things that piss me off this this
thing which should be called like things that piss me off all right so thank you thank you um
all right people that use the sauna as their hot yoga studio need to find god no i'm like literally
it is one of my biggest pet peeves right now because there are two people at my gym
that i love sitting in the sauna right i just have this
like am i easily annoyed by other people's presence okay the thing is it's like i'm just
chilling in there and when i see my peripheral and first of all they're wearing like bikinis
they're all sweaty in their little bikini and they're badass like when i see my peripheral
a downward dog happening in the sauna on the bench I'm just like irked like I love hot yoga
myself like don't get me wrong I I'll sit and I'll do a little like maybe I'll stretch my
my hammy in the sauna when like not a lot of people are in there or like no one because I'm
like by myself but when it's a full sauna and you're sitting there doing your vinyasa flow
and your little tiny bikini with your fucking puss hanging out it's like off-putting to everyone
else and so yeah currently one of the things that is pissing me off at my gym are people that use
their sauna the free sauna that comes with their membership as their hot yoga studio on a regular
basis like I don't know it's just just go to core power like just go like I don't know so do it when
no one's there find a time of the day like where no one's in there and just have your fun like
fine but don't do it when like everyone's in there it just bothers me next topic things that
piss me off right now uh what kind of uh
positive try i'm kidding like what kind of positive sound effect can i do right now for
this things that piss me off right now so here's what i gotta say something else that's pissing me
off right now is is a brand that seems like everybody loves it's a brand that
the kardashians like to plug all the hot people like to plug i think jimmy butler plugged it once
or had you know a campaign with them a lot of like athletes celebrities a-listers everyone
seems to love love this brand except me okay and here's what I have to say about aloe yoga they
need to fucking relax okay and get the get the stick out of their ass because uh it is shoved
so far up there I was uh recently browsing their apparel section of their their women's apparel
section on their website uh and I was searching for loungewear because I work from home I'm at
home a lot. I want cute outfits that are comfy, that are like matching sets that aren't just like
my Adam Sandler outfits where I have like a random big sweatshirt and leggings on. You know
what I mean? I want something that is matchy matchy, that's like good quality and cute, you
know, like a camel colored lounge set, you know, something kind of warm and fuzzy, that kind of
I was on their loungewear section and I came across a pair of a pair of cashmere
pants lounge pants for four hundred dollars
like what the fuck and then I was curious I was like what's the most expensive product they have
on this website I'm just curious because like after I saw those pants like their their leggings
are pretty like average price. You know, they have, I think $150 leggings tops. I don't know
if anything's like $200 leggings wise, but they have like coats for $1,200. Like they, who does,
who the fuck do they think they are? Okay. Aloe yoga gives off pretentious, pretentious stuck up
vibes so hard and I'm so annoyed by it I'm so annoyed by everything aloe yoga again it's like
for no reason like who hurt you right it's like where is this coming from is this some sort of
like childhood trauma response happening like are you jealous of people that wear aloe yoga because
it's like you know super like sexy and like cool and you don't feel good enough because you don't
wear any I don't you can make all this kind of shit up in your head all I know is that they have
stick up their ass they think they're cooler than they are and they need to stop and they need to
stop like they need to like know their audience like who are you trying to fucking reach out here
and like people oh my god this is it for me I have okay I have like this is this is not going
to sound nice and I don't that's just like kind of what I do here sometimes
people that work out in the aloe yoga pilates studio
are look like they're trying so hard to be cool it's like something about that dark black
wall the lighting it seems like it's in like a basement somewhere like I don't know where this
Pilates studio is but it's just like it's got that like sexy workout modern vibe that like
everyone's like obsessed with right now it's like super aesthetically pleasing to like look at but
you just look like you tried so hard to get in there to post your stupid Pilates video in there
with all the aloe shit everywhere and just like aloe aloe aloe it's like tacky now and it looks
like so corny and stupid like like I don't know why I'm so like negative about this right now but
like it gives it just pisses me off and like honestly when Kylie Jenner because she does a
lot of ads with aloe yoga okay Kylie Jenner has I mean her sex appeal is like insane like she just
has it she just she's got it she exudes that you know goddess energy sex appeal that whatever
that's just kylie okay she's like kim in that way you know i mean they just have that aura about
them when she puts on an aloe yoga set and does a does a partnership with them and post a picture
in her set all of her sex appeal goes away and like literally people that wear aloe yoga it's
like you look like you look insecure and you look super try hard and you look like you have zero
sex this is like so specific but like it's so weird how my brain registers and does that it's
like you know what it is it's because a lot of their models and a lot of people that wear their
clothes and plug their clothes and do deals brand deals with them and everything they're the
quintessential like overly overly lean pilates bod la influencer super tan life is perfect
everything's blah blah you know you just look stiff and like you don't know how to fucking
suck it you look like you don't know
you don't know look you don't know you look like you don't know how to
i gotta stop this isn't
it just
like you would look okay I just have all these opinions about workout clothes and leggings too
like I should get into that but in addition men that wear aloe yoga hats the aloe when it says
aloe I think it's just the name aloe that pisses me off it's like aloe aloe it's like so like
la it's like aloe la ah it's like you just breathe it out
men do a vinyas and wear oh
men that wear these hats look like rabbit fuckers it looks like they're they're just
they're just they're they look and they're these are the kind of guys that wear those aloe hats
and they're not pulling them down all the way they're those kinds of guys they're like too
pretty they're super like and again i live in southern california like i'm around this a lot
and i see this at the gyms like that's why i have this opinions because i see it all the time that's
why i feel i guess feel so strongly about this like you just look like you're bad in bed if you
were an aloe yoga app you just look like you're bad in bed if you were matching aloe yoga site
you look just look like you're yeah i i don't it makes sense in my brain i don't know if it makes
sense in your brain um i heard once on social media from like a video i saw that was like if
you think it I mean there's like 50,000 other people that probably think it too so uh where am
I where are my bitches at okay like let's uh but I guess like the CEO of Nike or like someone in
their marketing department had said that aloe yoga is trying way too hard to be cool and I'm
time a brand does that they like fall off and they like lose people because
people in LA the cool people I
okay I don't know why I'm here like cool cool cool cool it
like it's not like a yoga clothing brand or a clothing brand an athleisure brand needs to have
a lot of sex appeal and be all about that but like why does it just like go why does it make
people look so stiff and like boring and like you have zero personality or like ability to
Kylie Jenner should do a Nike ad like a legit Nike ad I think that would be so cool
like I know she's not some like she's not I don't know how much of an athlete she is but like
I feel like Nike's all about, like, everyone's an athlete.
Like, anybody can be an athlete.
Everyone who has a body is an athlete.
So, yeah, anyways, that's my thought on aloe yoga.
They need to fucking relax.
And I just, one of the things, and I think this is what it is.
I'm not from Southern California.
I'm from Washington State.
I grew up in a small town in the farmland of Skagit Valley, Washington.
And it's very, like, wholesome there.
It's just, like, down to earth and humble.
And, like, it's not flashy.
Like, I never saw a Range Rover growing up in my life.
like maybe one person passed by and then 20 years i lived there in a range of like some that's much
of a small town but like that it just it doesn't have a vibe of southern california so i think
something that's like deeply ingrained in me is that kind of lifestyle right like where i came
from and so now that i live here something that is so off-putting to me is pretentiousness people
with who people that think their shit doesn't smell people that are overly perfected and like
like fake sounding and looking and just like stiff I don't like people to look stiff I like
realness I like rawness I like nuance I like fucking let's talk about I don't know um
like yeah um so yeah like Lululemon and Viore don't act like this if that makes sense like
think of so aloe yoga lululemon and viore are all kind of similar in their quality of fabric
and their viore is probably the best one in my opinion lulu's a goat lulu's a goat forever like
come on she started it she's out of it she's the og of women's yoga leggings okay uh aloes got a
long pass i think they popped off in like 2007 i believe but um anyways now they're getting a
little too full of shit so uh take those cashmere pants off your website no one's buying them if
they are like what the fuck i guess you need here's the thing i guess like hot la like pilates
bod hot boy like surfer dude i don't know they need hot shit to wear and expensive shit oh they're
also like rich as fuck so like they can afford it anyway so like they need brands like this i guess
that's their audience and they're actually like targeting them and it's actually all working out
not just being a judgmental little like peasant over here so who wears a amazon arula scrunch
butt leggings which you know what here's what i have to say about aloe yoga yoga brands in general
leggings women's leggings right in 2024 there is currently a marketplace
where you can purchase leggings that make your ass look
incredible because of the way they like scrunch around your butt right so
why wouldn't you buy those right and so and it's like I'm cursed now forever because the second
I bought a pair of leggings like that and pulled that fabric up my butt crack as far as I possibly
could. I couldn't buy the other leggings. I can't wear the other leggings now. Like I don't care
how fat your ass is. Nobody looks good in yoga pants with those normal seams going on that the
leggings back in the day used to have. They still have them, but now you can buy shit that scrunches
up your ass and it makes it look 10 times better. You know what I mean? So like just buy those,
but those scrunch butt leggings are a double-edged sword for a couple of reasons. Number one,
I've had a lot of traumatic experiences uh you know pulling them up and ripping the asshole out
where I'm at the gym with a hole in my pants so it can you know you can be a little too aggressive
with those and you can be you can end up with a hole in your uh pants situation which is kind of
funny um it's crazy like I'd say like once a month I'll be at the gym and I see the same girls all
the time and I'll like it's hard not to see people's butts when they're working out and
they're like bending over and doing their you know rdls and shit like once a month I'll be like oh
she's got about a week left in the house because I'll see like a little rip starting or a little
like it's giving away and I've seen like full-on holes back there before and these scrunch butt
leggings like full-on so the other part of the double-edged sword thing with scrunch butt leggings
is that if you hike them up in the back you kind of have to hike them up in the front too
and it kind of gives you a fupa if you're not careful and especially if you're packing a lot
down there so you just got to like pay attention to that and I personally um I do a thing where I
like instead of scrunching them straight up in the back I wedgie them from the side and so that
flattens the front where the crotch is and so it doesn't look like a fupa camel toe they don't have
their camel toe free pants now because they don't have the seam like the aloe yoga and
those type leggings do they just don't have a seam there so when you pull it towards the butt
crack it this is so like the way I used to be on my podcast by the way I feel like I've touched
on this subject a long time ago I think it was like episode like 32 um go back to the episode
titled I'm Cam Newton I specific it's literally titled I'm Cam Newton I specifically remember on
that episode talking about Gymshark leggings and how they give you a fuba and I think I'm
repeating this conversation with you now like uh three years later so um but yeah anyways I like
pull them a certain way so like the front looks flattering and you know anyways um yeah literally
like those normal leggings give you pancake ass so just buy the ones that scrunch up a little bit
it just looks so much better that's my pro tip of the day um all right what did we cover
is this it like is this literally the show three six nine damn damn fine okay we started there
um I kind of updated you about my job what's happening with my career and the changes that
i've been navigating professionally oj's death the trial my thoughts on everything
spiel about domestic violence talk about coachella and me entering my sellout era
having a mindset shift and basically saying i'm with you influencers i'm one of you now and i'm
ready to join up so let's start collabing
uh dubai is underwater caitlyn clark is getting uh potentially an eight figure deal with nike
god bless their soul because she got 75 000 from whatever indiana what's the name of the team it's
like the inkers it's like the inkers right like that's the team she got uh recruited by or what
do they call it like signed with I talked about aloe yoga just isn't it funny how like my brain
it's not funny it's actually like again I said this last week I'm like what personality
personality disorder is this like please don't diagnose me in the comments but
it's funny how like my brain just like associates like
a pair of leggings with someone who's bad and bad
what makes someone look like they're good at like
fucking you know like what what is like a trait what's a quality that just you know instantly
like this person I don't like what is it maybe I have this thing where it's like
the leaner you are the less I don't know like you need some like fat on your body I don't know
it's so dumb I think what it is too is if you're so consumed with like your health and your body
to the point where it's like you're just so perfected which is like shout out good for you
like you know I do that too but I have like this super balanced approach to everything I feel like
a lot of people that are like that's their entire lifestyle their their entire personality is based
on how hot and lean and pilates bodied out they look like they're that's their whole personality
don't that's they're just all about like that stuff it just looks like you're you're not fun
like you're not like I don't know like you're just so tight like wound tight and so obsessed
like I gotta eat this salad and I gotta go to Pilates and I gotta get my 10,000 steps do my
hot girl walk and I gotta fucking do me I gotta run write my journal and fucking read a meditation
book at the beach or whatever the fuck and then I gotta go get a matcha and then literally all
these types of people the only color they allow into their life is their matcha latte
like at 8 a.m like that's it the color and the color starts and ends there everything else is
bitch it's like yeah the girls are gonna get it like you know what I'm talking about
I'm probably to them the type of girl that's like tacky brash like unpolished messy chaotic
you know annoying hateful mean they're probably like I'll pray for her she seems like she's
hurting a lot deep down I just the thing is for me and I'll say it to the end of time like I just
care about society I want people to be like real and not full of shit and I cannot read I just
everything reads now a lot of stuff I see online just reads is so fucking phony and like stupid
and I just like that's why I do what I do so call me a hater I don't care it's just like it is what
it is someone's got to talk about it right no one's gonna get you can't get away with anything
you cannot you cannot get away on the jasmine neuro show you cannot get away with wearing
aloe yoga leggings without me talking shit about you that is a brand deal that will now never
happen this is my favorite thing to do i love podcasting like straight up i'm having a great
time i think the video really like pours i poured on thick for the camera like this is this side of
really comes out. So, Oh, I didn't mention, Ooh, this is fun. If you're going to stay
with me to the end here, you're in for a treat. So we're here in for a treat. I had a call
yesterday. I was someone about my podcast and my social media and someone who's going
to potentially help me blow this up because there are everyone who I talk to and have
meetings with about this they're just like dumbfounded they're like 400 podcasts she hasn't
made a single dollar from this like what's going on like what the fuck they're just looking at me
like dude you are not you should be doing like so much more or like you should be making like so
much more money so long story short i learned something about the algorithm on tiktok and
Instagram on this call so you know what if you're new if you just listen to the show you might not
know because I talked about on my Instagram before you might not know about my fake follower story
like it's a story right like it's I'm making this such a big deal but basically I used to work for
this company and one of the services we offered was account boosting so people would pay us like
twenty thousand dollars for us to you know boost their account excuse me every month for a year
this means they're getting like ten thousand followers a month or whatever consistently and
these are like fake followers but they're like real accounts with like real pictures and I don't
know it was weird they pay us to have to boost their account with followers likes on all their
posts and comments so that was something we offered and like that's a thing out there you
can buy like literally and here's the deal like a lot of people do this obviously because optically
it's like okay if someone comes by my account they'll see oh you know fifty thousand dollars
this person like it helps with like your business and just like what people's perception or first
impression it's mostly about first impressions but having fake followers bites you in the ass
and here's my story so I think I had like under 10k I don't even know I forget where I started
I don't think I've ever been over maybe I had like 12,000 why do I feel like I had 12,000
followers on Instagram when I started before I got boosted yeah I'm working for this company
and I think I held out like six months but at the time I had started this podcast and
you know my boss was like hey this would like help your podcast people would see you've got
all these followers and likes and comments and everything they might go oh like something's
going on here you know like she's this is a legit person the legit podcast and she's super popular
you know he gave me that speech for like the 10th time I was like fuck it let's just do it let's do
it so I consistently got fake followers for like probably another six months then I ended up
changing jobs um at a certain point but I'm still getting my account boosted I got up to like 130,000
followers and long story short and I had all the likes and the views and stuff going but long story
short what I learned on this call yesterday was that when you have fake followers the algorithm
when you whenever you post like a TikTok or a real or no this is for Instagram okay I'm talking
Instagram whenever you post a real or a photo carousel or a picture whatever the algorithm's
like okay she has 108,000 I think about now followers but only like 200 people are seeing
this post or like liking it so then it just throws it in the trash it doesn't matter how well I
captioned it it doesn't matter how well I hashtagged it or promoted it whatever the algorithm
isn't gonna like like it or boost it or whatever because it's noticing this huge discrepancy
between the amount of followers I have and the people that are actually engaging with the post
post so when you have when you're someone like me in a position now where I'm like I want to grow
my social media I want to blow up my accounts and like monetize my social media and blah blah blah
like everyone else in the world a lot of people that I have heard want to do this too number one
career path that kids want to you know go down now so you have to like repair it and a lot of
people start new accounts and start from scratch which is something I don't think I'm going to do
what I think I'm going to do is plug my podcast through my podcast Instagram account because that
one doesn't have that one's like legit you know so I don't know I it's kind of intuitive like
obviously like that makes sense um like if you're thinking from the algorithm's perspective
what even is an algorithm like I just I like get it but I don't
so yeah that's why like all my shit's like 25 likes like 400 views and it's like a hundred
thousand followers it's like what's happening here so um that's what sucks like every time I
get like a call and like someone's like they want they want to talk business with me
their first impression like oh she's got a hundred thousand followers and 400 podcasts
oh my god she's really popping off right now and I have to be like by the way I need help fixing
this algorithm fake follower situation because this isn't really the full story so yeah i know
i'm not alone in that that's why i wanted to share that little tip but i think that's it i think
