happy first day of summer uh this has been such a weird week

there this is a weekly podcast about my life and by me telling my story i my aim my goal my dream
my wish is to help help you with your life so let's uh you know let's all help each other out
here. And, um, through storytelling, I think that's how we accomplish that. So, um, that's
my why. And that's my call to action for the beginning of the episode. I'm currently drinking
a diet Coke. Let me just like really bring you in. It's 1142 AM. It's Thursday. I'm drinking a
diet Coke. I'm freshly showered. I am banned from the outdoors for the next, I'm banning myself
from the great outdoors for the next week or so because uh your girl is peeling okay I overdid it
in the sun over the last two days and it's really bad so I'm yeah happy first day of summer I started
this summer with a super bad sunburn and yeah I'm also banned from the outdoors because or like I
can't lay out because we have a team of people very hard-working men disassembling or dismember
decapitating uninstalling our fence and installing a new fence so they're gonna be
working on this project for the next few days anyway so this is good timing I got I got my
tanning in before this project started so that's kind of what's happening on the home front I have
great show for you today let me just kind of read off what we're looking at here so um I've got some
wedding updates I'm gonna talk about we're gonna I'm gonna recap the Luke Combs concert in my
weekend up in LA um I'm gonna talk about my dad um and Father's Day um we're gonna talk about
hot girl summer tips because as you know it's happy first day of summer it's already too late
if you're not already looking if you're not already hot right now like just like take the L
try again next year 2025 is your wait what's the year 20 did I just say that right 2025
next year is 2025 no wait hold on do you ever like say the year and you're like the fuck
it is 2024 yeah just take the loss no I do have some good tips that you could probably apply now
and it's not too late but like um I don't know like it's hot girl time is all year round it's
not just summer it's not what is this summer there's like a trend or like a they always like
come up with a little like it's hot girl summer this year is like the guys are like
sexy rat summer the girls are all are into these like I don't know I saw something never mind so
we're gonna talk about the hot girl summer tips and the elephant in the room I don't know if
you've been following my tiktok or my instagram or any of my social media lately um we're gonna
talk about why I went viral or like not why I know why but I literally went viral for the first
time on TikTok this week and it's a lot and it's a little bit wild and I'm gonna kind of deep dive
into what I posted we're gonna watch the video I posted and then debrief on yeah like the craziness
of my social media career and how there's such a huge discrepancy between the amount of hard work
and like soul I've poured into this podcast versus me posting a stupid like 30 second video
that has progressed my social media 10 times further than this podcast which is so like
I want to kind of talk about that because it's a it's kind of a trip like a it's a mind fuck and I
think at the end of the day and I'm not this isn't I don't want to get on get on a tangent
already about it but like the market is always right like the algorithm is always right or um
the cream always rises like the people want what the people want and sometimes you just have to
like instead of fighting the system you just have to like catch the when you're on the wave once you
caught it you got to stay on that wave and just embrace that this is now your this is now what
you're known for or like what people want to come and watch you for and we'll get into that because
it is so not what I expected that I'd blow up for and so like stupid and I'm just kind of embracing
it and I'm like yeah I'm riding this wave that so we're gonna get into that um currently in the
world uh I guess let me see what I have on the news front yeah Celtics won woohoo that honestly
i watched the entire finals serieses i watched like all the games or all like a lot of them
i followed the entire finals and i don't know why but like none of these teams i don't know
if this is because i'm getting older and these guys don't look as impressive now that i'm like
their age or even older than them but like these no one is impressive like in basketball like
like yeah they're impressive they're good at what they do but like i wasn't when i was watching the
celtics and the was it yeah the mavs i was like it just looks so average i almost felt like i was
watching a college basketball game i don't know how to explain it like anyways so celtics won
kim john and putin are slapping i don't know they're talking they're there was this picture
of them in a car Putin was driving and I'm like is this AI I don't know if anyone saw that but like
they what did they do they like made a pact that if one gets that they'll basically like back each
other up if they're ever threatened in a war type situation I guess which is like what weren't they
already doing that I don't know what the relationship is but yeah that's a little bit
strange to see um Hunter Biden yeah we could get into that I don't want to talk news today I'm just
kind of like going down what's been going on the world where Rory and his wife called off the
divorce which is crazy um I don't know the backstory on that someone's like oh she cheated
on him and then he filed for divorce and then now he went back what the fuck um could it be me
could not be me I am so quick to jump in that situation as you know I mean long story long
time ago on this podcast I talked about getting cheated on but like I have zero tolerance like
I will never crawl back like that is something that it's just not I could never so um yeah let
me just kind of get into I'm honestly just on my news app I love the apple news app um okay this
is boring this is boring stay with me stay with me okay let me just be honest right now I am so
groggy and in a fog today because I haven't mom skip ahead 10 seconds I haven't gotten high in
over a year I think it's been like I think the last time I actually like smoked a joint or like
gotten high at all was February of last year I specifically remember that because we just busted
through a jar it was just we weren't even smoky it was just like gummies and we like shared a
bottle of weed gummies for like a month and then it was done and it was like we had our friend gave
them gave them to us and then we we like took them every night and then it was like that was the end
of that and I haven't gotten high since and so long story short we made the wrong turn the other
day on the way to I think we were going to the grocery store or an antique store I don't remember
and then we pulled up to a weed shop and we're like oh my god let's get weed like it was just
such a random thing we decided to do we weren't like thinking about doing like we're just we're
not like regular smokers or like we know we don't really I feel like we go in phases with everything
so anyways we got high last night and it was so strong we were like paralyzed it was so bad it
was not good I haven't because I haven't smoked like I've had gummies you know but I haven't like
smoked weed in a long ass time and yeah we were both tossing and turning all night like I don't
know what happened it was a super strong indica and i was like oh yeah this will knock us out nope
um just we were consistently awake tossing and turning all night he got a headache like it was
bad and yeah it's so annoying how like it made me groggy and i'm like this is why i don't like
getting high it's like you can it's almost like you can't i don't know it's a good time while
you're while you're high obviously but like i don't know the next day i'm like hitting a wall
here um anyway so let me get into like the wedding updates so tomorrow tomorrow I get to pick up my
wedding dress so this has been a long time coming obviously you know that I I've talked about my
dress on here before not what it looks like at all or anything but I found my dress a few months
ago I think actually I think it was last November um so a long time ago and I had it custom ordered
and it's here I'm picking it up tomorrow and we're gonna kind of like see how it fits and if I want
to like tweak anything and to be honest like we're not gonna be this dress fit me like a glove so
the truth is like I'm gonna shit's gonna get real tomorrow like I'm gonna see myself in my
wedding dress I'm gonna have like I'm gonna take really good videos of myself in it really good
photos of myself in it from all the angles you know I want to see how everything's looking the
body you know and then shit's gonna get real because we've been dialing it in I think did I
have I talked about my like shred for the wed plan I think I just told you guys that now I'm doing
yoga and hot yoga and pilates like every other day or sometimes every day and on top of my my
like normal weightlifting and cardio routine. So it's like, I'm doing everything. And
I, I feel like it, I don't, I need to like have an actual goal goal. Like, I don't know if it's
a weight goal or a body fat percentage. I don't know. I want to have like, I want this pre-wedding
time to be like, okay, like let's get in the best shape of your life. Like let's, let's make this
funny of three months left. Like let's actually do it. And tomorrow shit's going to get real
because I'm going to try on that dress. And I just remember, I didn't love how my body looked
in it the first time I put it on or like even the second time I was just like, it looks so good.
The dress is so beautiful. It looks beautiful on me. I know that, but everyone has like a
thing. And for me, like there was just certain body parts where I was like, okay, if this was
just a little more, you know, dialed in, I would feel better. So that's kind of what we're looking
at the next three months. Um, just wedding dress alterations, probably not that many
cause it fits so great, but, um, that's going on tomorrow. Um, we, yeah, we're just kind of,
it's, I feel like I'm in a stress, a pressure cooker a little bit. I'm like, Oh my God,
time is flying. Like it's so close to the date. So, um, let's see. We went to Luke Holmes. Should
recap that yep let's do it so um we I think like a month ago we're like oh my god Luke
Holmes is gonna be in LA let's go watch his concert you know I love Luke Holmes big fan
of country music obviously like he's he's great so we got tickets with our friends and
we drove up and fun fact or not even a fun fact but well for me it's fun we took a little
pit stop in Newport for an appointment for a very exciting appointment for Jacqueline. I'm not going
to say anything, but like we went up to Newport on the way, the timing worked out well with like
when they could book me and get me into the appointment. And then, um, when the concert
wasn't everything. So, uh, I don't know if I'll, there's a little teaser there. Sure. Cool. I went
to Newport for an appointment before the concert. Um, and it's just one of those things that makes
me so like giddy and like excited. I don't know. Um, so Luke Combs. Okay, cool. How are you doing?
You know what I mean? Like how, what's, what's going on? It's almost like it's halfway through
the year. It's June. It's crazy. Um, it's so hot here too in California. It's like
perfect tanning weather. I mean, perfect burning weather. Clearly I got burnt. I got burned, but,
um, yeah, it's beautiful. It's summertime. I hope you're doing, doing well. And I don't know. Um,
so we stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Marina Del Rey and which was stunning. It was great. I was
like oh this is the Ritz-Carlton like oh I've never because I obviously know about the Ritz
I've never stayed there so it was kind of a nice treat to stay at a you know we were there for one
night because it was like we're gonna drive all the way up to LA we're gonna like party after like
we're not gonna drive back home so um yeah we stay at the Ritz I'm trying to remember if any
like random things happened on the way up we stopped at grocery store we come on Jacqueline
you can do it anyways we okay so we got to the hotel room and I my only planet plan that night
was to look as good as possible because it's like you're at a concert I don't know I just like to
dress up and take pics and whatnot so Corey went and ate some food he got some like late lunch with
his friend that was there with us and then I was in the hotel room just you know getting ready
doing my hair and makeup and getting my outfit all ready and then we met up got on a got in a
van a sprinter van and which was sweet because you just literally drive to the like you drive
into the stadium like so we so I was excited about this because I like I've seen SoFi you know I saw
the Superbowl. I saw, I've seen all these like football games at SoFi and concerts and whatnot.
And like, it's so cool. Like I want to go and see this arena. So, um, yeah, we literally drove
into the parking garage. Like we didn't have to wait in any lines. It was just like, boom,
you literally like park and you're in the, you're in the building. And then someone takes you to
your seat. It's like super, you know, super slick like that. So, or I guess we took ourselves to
seats we were on the floor we were just we were on the we weren't in like the pit but we had really
good seats um and i'm trying to think i'm trying to think i'm trying oh my god um
there was this band called the avid brothers before luke combs i think i'm saying that right
avid brothers and honestly after the concert i opened my spotify and i was like because i
remember seeing their performance performance and I was like holy shit and then I went on my Spotify
and I play their songs and it's just like they're one of those bands where they're so impressive
live but it's just not my vibe it's not my kind of music to just like listen to if that makes
sense it doesn't like translate in my ears when I'm hanging out like it does when I'm in person
seeing them on the stage these guys were so talented they were like they had like this just
the vocals were so good the they had a piano guy uh I don't know what even you know what it
reminded me of I was like they kind of sounded like the sticks like I don't know what kind of
genre they are they're like rock but like alternative I don't know they were really
good so they're the Abbott brothers they opened or they were on before Luke and I think there
something like eight artists before him and he came on at like I don't even remember it was one
of those days where I didn't keep track of time like I just didn't even know I knew what time
we had to be in the car I always know because you know I'm getting ready and I have like a strict
timeline of how much time I have to do my hair and makeup my outfit you know what I mean so I
think it was like we have to leave by 5 30 so maybe he came on at like 7 by the time we got
there got her seats yeah um and it was crazy like he walked out on stage and I didn't know this but
Luke Holmes is like five nine so that was a mind fuck I was like wait it was so weird I was like
wait I thought he was this like tall ass dude no he's he's just he's pretty short so I mean
don't want to call him a man short but you know what I mean like he's not tall tall so
I mean hands down one of the best concerts I've been to like the energy in the stadium I feel
like everyone just loves him like everyone just adores Luke Holmes and just he just has such a
feel-good energy about him where I don't know how to explain it it was just so
like every song and he has so many hits like we were listening to songs on the way up and it's
like they just kept coming on the playlist it was just like damn this is another one another one and
the concert was no different and um uh yeah like it was just really and his vocals were so pure
and like so good and um he sang his some songs on his new album about dads um forget that album's
called but um that was kind of cool he sang uh fast car I was like holy shit I can't believe
like I'm getting to experience this right now in like live so um yeah it was so great I'm trying
to like think oh but he sweats a lot I was like goddamn like it's like song one he's already
pouring sweat and that's something I can relate to um as a chronic sweater myself not unless I'm
working out by the way I'm not just like sitting around in a chair at home sweating for no reason
it's only when I'm doing an activity kind of like Luke singing his I mean he uses his entire
body to sing like he I was so impressed and I always say this after concerts I'm just I'm always
so impressed how how many songs they can sing like back to back and how they just like give it their
all and it's like I'm like they have so much capacity and so much energy inside their body to
entertain a crowd and and carry their vocals that long and do and he doesn't miss like he doesn't
like you never hear a wrong note you never he never thought it's perfect the entire time so
um yeah such a great concert I'm trying to think we got what were we uh eating and drinking I had
you just had like a giant Modelo I love Modelo um I just had one tall beer I think I think that
that's what we got um no food what did we eat before oh my god we had a oh I got the best
burger at the Ritz in the lobby like restaurant oh my god like something about it was so good
I'm trying to remember I think it was a brioche bun it was very simple it was like a brioche bun
a really good patty and then maybe like Swiss I don't know the cheese was so good and I forgot
about like Swiss on a burger. So maybe you had mushrooms on it. I don't know, but that's what
we ate before. Um, I made sure I was eating so much that day. Like I was just like, cause I
didn't know how late the night was going to go. And I was like, I got to fill this stomach up.
And, um, that's just my, that's my life hack. Like if you don't want things to go sideways
when you drink, like just, you can be skinny all the way up until the day you're going to be
having fun and then you just on the day of the the partying and the fun just make sure you're
fueling your body full of food because that definitely helps keep you on two feet
speaking from experience uh that's why i'm saying this right now um what else is going on uh
next day we i thought we were gonna leave i was like oh we're checking out of the hotel
um I think we got three hours of sleep that night which is not great um and then someone decides to
order to meet order a michelada at the at the breakfast table which that breakfast was I was
pretty hungover it was pretty I mean we yeah we didn't just have that one but I definitely like
we had some more after but um I got I got like a big ass breakfast with Corey and then our friends
came and someone ordered a drink and I was like oh this is what we're doing so then I ordered a
michelada and then it was like okay let's go find a a bar and watch the U.S. Open on like the golf
let's go like and I thought we're driving home from LA like we're you know we have a long drive
and nope we just kept it going and it was fun and we went to this dive bar somewhere in Marina
Del Rey I don't even know which one it was but this lady was super super funny she's kind of
older you can tell she's been bartending for a long time and um yeah she was like they were
pressuring me and taking a shot and I was like you know I didn't want I didn't want it I was
like this is not this is not what I planned on here's the thing I'm all for having like a good
time and like you know if this is what we're all doing I'll come along with and I'll join in the
fun and you know but like there's a certain sometimes I just I'm so choosy with like when
and when when I want to feel like shit and when I don't want to feel like shit and for me it was
like that week was all about going to Luke Holmes on Friday that's gonna be my fun night and then
then the next day it's like back to normal but no it's like when it goes on and on the next day the
next day then it feels like I'm on vacation and I I'm just I'm not I don't like spontaneity
spontaneity with drinking I guess I like it because then because it throws me off I just
don't like it so we I think I just had like another michelada and that was it at the bar
and then that was that was like a couple drinks in that but then it's like day drinking and then
I'm so tired and then I'm passed out on and the car on the drive home like snoring while Corey's
driving and um sitting in traffic and so that's what I don't like yeah I don't like waking up and
drinking like morning I don't know it just if I'm on vacation it's a different thing if I'm on
vacation but um I think we got do we get in and out yeah we got in and out on the way home and
um the traffic was so bad there was an accident and it I think it was like three hours to get
home or three and a half it was so slow I had to switch over and drive at one point um
yeah so that was our concert uh weekend the next day was father's day yeah so we got home
I think we yeah we had like in and out at what was that like 3 p.m we had to go pick up the
dogs from his parents because they babysat him for a night and then Corey looks at me we get
home it's like a couple hours later after we had in and out he's like do you want to go get sushi
and I'm like fuck no I was still full and I'm just like that's like the the last thing I want
to do right now is eat I just want to like maybe have a sweet treat like sometimes at the end of
the day if it's like even if it's only 5 p.m and I'm like whatever I just sometimes I'll get a
fro-yo or something just because it's as dinner or like I just don't really feel like sitting down
and having the full-on thing so next day was father's day and let's just get into this part
Wait, hold on. Let me make sure I'm staying on my itinerary here. So itinerary. Yeah, I'll just stay. I'll just go in order. So we've got Father's Day. I'll recap that and calling my dad and then my viral TikTok situation. I'll get into that and then the hot girl summer tips and then we'll end it.
but so father's day, uh, was the next day and new segment. Uh, Oh shit. Uh, wait,
father's day, next segment incoming. Um, okay. So I'm like avoiding this. I'm like,
I'm like stalling because I'm like do I want to talk about it I think I do because it's you know
it's my life and I'm sure someone out there gets this so uh if you're like me Father's Day is not
not the greatest day of the year you know what I mean it's kind of a downer of a day and I don't
really enjoy going on my phone and seeing people's happy snappy Father's Day posts and
this that and the other because I have a complicated relationship with my dad
I won't even say it's complicated it's just kind of um not there like it used to be and
long story short I haven't talked to him in two years almost exactly two years it was June of
2022 and I have there's a reason for that um I don't I don't want to like get into the details
of our relationship. But what I can talk about is how emotionally confusing the last couple of
years have been as time has gone on. And I'd say in the last like six months, it's gotten a lot
worse where, um, essentially I've been like grieving and kind of, yeah, it's just been so
heavy, this relationship and navigating it in my head and trying to figure out like, how do I move
forward with my life because clearly, you know, I'm going through a lot of life transitions and,
you know, new beginnings, new chapters with, you know, I got engaged. My dad wasn't involved. I
didn't call him about that. You know, I'm getting married, you know, he's not invited to the
wedding. Um, we bought a house. He had no involvement with knowing about that or any
details of that. I haven't talked to him about it. Um, you know, I'm, you know, I got fired from my
job. I'm going full time with my podcast. He has no clue about that. I'm getting, or, uh, I'm
turning 30 next month. Like these are all big life things happening here. Um, or that have happened
like, or what am I saying? Yeah. A lot of things have happened in my life that he's not involved
in. And so, um, I think the grieving part and the emotional like tug of war in my head I've
been having is around feeling like I don't, like, I can't share it with him. You know what I mean?
Like I, I have this inertia or this resistance about including him in my life. And, and again,
I'm not going to get into like why and what the backstory is because it's personal. And, um,
but I will say this when I woke up on father's day, I knew it was father's day and it's always
like, okay, it's father's day and fuck, you know? Um, and then Corey has been a really good
sounding board or I guess mentor or partner. He's just in all of this where
he's kind of helped me assess the um the outcome of having the relationship or not and what I can
expect to go through mentally with both situations and so I've kind of gotten to this point where
when I weigh things out I can't see myself going 10 years and not having conversation
my dad or seeing him so and that got really real for me um in the last couple months I'd say I've
really like addressed that with myself and I've clearly it's like the number one topic my therapist
did I talk about? So, um, I actually was in the grocery store getting a bunch of steaks and
food for father's day. Cause we had his parents over, um, we barbecued for them. And I'm like
in the grocery store, Corey went into Marshall's to look for like a father's day tchotchke for his
dad. And I was in the Starbucks line in Vons and I was waiting for my drink. It was taken forever
because the guy there was new he was clearly new he was getting trained on how to make our drinks
and anyways I'm standing there and I'm just like thinking you know I'm clearly I looked distraught
like I'm sure if anyone saw me they're like damn she's having a bad day it's like no shit it's
fucking father's day like leave me alone like hashtag daddy issues come on like don't look at
me right now but I just kind of I just something came over me and I something talked to me I don't
know I texted him I simply texted him you know happy father's day and hoped you know I wished
him well and um asked him if we could chat or I don't even know why I asked I planned on calling
him too or I still that was the thing I needed to do the text is it didn't feel as hard or heavy to
just send a text I was like okay you know that's over it's like I at least I made a point of
communication um and then day goes on I think we're out on the deck tanning I clean the house
got his house ready for his parents you know we're like prepping everything and I'm laying out I'm
tanning and I think we were just talking about oh I was like let me just because I had oh this is
what happened I didn't get a text back from him and it had been like four hours later and I was
like oh this is weird or not weird because like we don't talk it's been two years but then I was
like you know what let me just call my brother to see if he got a hold of him today just to like
make sure that you know I'm not being ghosted or like he I don't know I was just trying to like
put feelers out and like see what what's going on because like I'm still too scared to just pick up
the phone and talk to him I'm still like freaking out about that so um I call my brother and he's
like yeah we talked earlier like you should call him like this is what he's up to today and yeah
just give him a call. So I hung up with my brother and then I looked at Corey and I'm like,
well, he says, he talked to him and he's like, just call him. He's like, let's just do, just do
it. And we, we ended up talking for like two and a half hours. Um, we laughed, we cried, we got
into it, not even got into it a little bit, but I was probably the most honest I've been with my
dad in 10 years about all of my thoughts and my feelings. And, um, I just faced it head on
like a champ and Oh my God, Corey's calling me right now in the middle of this is good timing.
Hi honey, you're on the podcast. Oh, sorry. I'm literally like going into me. The last thing I
said was how I called Robert on father's day to see if he talked to dad. And then I, and then
after that I called him and we talked for two and a half hours. Oh yeah. Well I was seeing I was
just checking on the updates in the backyard. Did you see my pictures I sent you? Yeah they're real
quick I couldn't get a real good idea but um well no problem I needed to see if the other materials
came in too but. Okay well I'll um I'm gonna wrap this up soon and then. Okay. Yeah you called me
the most somber time I did can you cheer me up I'm cheering you up are you smiling I can feel
your smile yeah there it is what are you eating for lunch uh that I don't know yet oh no I don't
know um well but I have a meeting with Eugene at three o'clock beautiful so yep all righty all
good i have yoga at 4 30 okay love you see you when i get home we're done dinner dinner will be
ready sounds good you're on you're on the right track we're having crockpot chicken crockpot
chicken i'm kidding we're going viral okay okay i love you honey okay i love you bye okay bye
more on that in a bit the frozen or the crockpot chicken um
so yeah I talked to my dad and we laughed we cried and it was just like it was one of those things
where I I learned a lot about myself in the last I'd say okay yeah the last two years I haven't
talked to him right or in I haven't talked to him in two years but the lesson I learned about myself
in this whole process of trying to navigate my relationship with my dad is that and it showed
itself so much in the last few months where I'm like in heavy and wedding or deep in wedding
planning and like we just bought a house and and I'm like as my life kept unfolding and things
kept progressing and getting more like exciting and serious and settled down
it started what am I saying I I just got like progressively more distraught about my dad I
forget what I just said like I said something and then I was like wait how did it how does it
connect um oh I was going to talk about the lesson and and all of this and what I learned about
myself and just want to address something really quick about parents and children and relationships
with the two and um how to navigate that post-divorce and post whatever like with the
when the family breaks up um just I can only speak from my brain and or from my brain my
POV I guess that's my brain and I think given the circumstances and what happened
And I think best case scenario or in a perfect world when things are executed the healthiest, the parent initiates or the parent continues the relationship with the kid and they facilitate, they go out of their way to make sure that even though your mom and I are divorced now and the family's broken up, like I want us to be good.
I want to have a relationship with you I want to be involved in your college years your 20s you
know you're I want to know you through all that and support you and be there through for be there
next next to you throughout all of that and so because that never happened initially and I'm
talking 10 years ago so I feel I feel comfortable discussing this now on my podcast because I'm like
it's been literally a decade um it's been weird because it was never done that way there's been
this like weird energy of like who who reaches out to who what is this relationship you know
what's going on and I really don't want to be detailed here but like that's kind of the vibe
so there's a lot of avoidance okay and this is what I'm getting into I learned something about
myself and I think it's like screaming at me now how or it's so clear to me now that this is how
I manage things that are uncomfortable and like difficult to face and basically
the longer time went on the more I like put my hand out and like push it away and avoided it
and avoided it and looked the other way and it was like out of sight out of mind right because
the second so I'll just be really vulnerable right now because this is like fuck it you know
I'm already talking about this dad situation father's day thing but like I have friends coming
to my wedding that I need to call really bad and catch up with because it's like they're coming to
my wedding I need to like check in and like see how they're doing and like you know maybe we should
meet up this summer and like see each other before the wedding I don't know like that that's like a
normal thing to do right like a super natural like if you have friends apparently they're your
friends you've known them your whole life and yeah we're in our 20s now we've kind of grown apart
they're closer than I am but like you know um for the most part we've been close our whole lives and
so I don't know what it is but I like the act of picking up the phone sending a text is so
difficult for me sometimes and I I feel like I have there's a block and I don't know what that
is I don't know if it's like an underlying fear of rejection or like um I feel guilty because I
haven't done this sooner or like I I don't know what this is because I think I'm I'm so comfortable
with being comfortable like this is such a cliche but like literally the uncomfortable thing to do
is to send the text which is which is even it's not even fucking hard it's not even hard to send
a text it's not even f***ing hard listening I'm like oh you know right now this is like really
emo for me um like it's not and then when it comes down to just doing it I'm like it's weird
I don't know or calling or um it's a communication flaw in my psyche or I don't know um so
yeah I it's so weird I don't know like so with my dad it was kind of the same thing like
time was going on and I was just avoiding it, avoiding it, avoiding it. I just was like,
well, fuck it. It's easier to just not face than to face, but then not facing it was eating me
alive and causing me to lie in the fetal position on many occasions and bawl my eyes out about it.
And I was actually talking to my mom in the grocery store about this yesterday. And I said that
I don't think she understood why it was so emotional for me to talk to him. And I was like,
look I've I've been crying a lot about it recently and I've been a mess like I've been a fucking mess
and the thing that I cry so hard about isn't necessarily the fact that oh my dad doesn't
call me and I'm getting married and he's not invited to my wedding nothing about like present
day it's everything to do about me being a little girl with my daddy my dad I was a daddy's girl
You know, I was, I was always by his side and he taught me everything and he was wonderful. And I, I cry so hard about that, about how that's, I'm like grieving, grieving that that is over and it'll never come back. And is this the first time I cried on my podcast? I think this actually is the first time.
and it's just like this really visceral cry where you're like you love your dad so much and you're
like so sad about how you had him for 20 years and in the last 10 you haven't had him at all
or not even close to the same way you used to have and even when you did have him it wasn't the best
so and that's the thing like your brain if you're if you've ever if you can relate to this doesn't
have to be a parent it could be a friend it could be a sibling where you think of them so fondly
you have such a vivid beautiful version of them in your head and at the same time such a horrible
version and so because of the things that they've done and the trauma they've you know so you're
split and anyways I think that that's where the deep emotions have been stemming from it's like
grieving me being a little girl with my dad and how that's so gone now and it's kind of like a
death it's like a it's weird you know and then I think also I would imagine if he wasn't in my
life if I didn't call him and I cut him off and it was like over over you know and now I'm 30 now
I'm 40 I'm 50 he's turning 70 80 90 and it's like then what he dies and I don't ever know him
anymore like I would also cry about that so I think the the lesson in all of this or like the
beauty in all of this is something that I know very well because it's literally what I do here
I communicate I talk to you and I share my life stories and I um I don't bottle it up I talk it
out right so I think the beauty in all of this is that at the end of the day connection love
leading with connection leading with love is everything and so for me not to say that I was
like oh being the bigger person but for me to swallow my fear or my resistance of calling my
dad and just simply sending him a text and then picking up the phone by me simply doing that like
and leading with that like loving spirit and that like positive spirit now we are on our way to
maybe something it's I don't know how great it will ever be I don't think it'll ever compare to
when I was a kid but like you know my dad will be part of my life now you know maybe he'll be on
this podcast someday one thing about my dad is he's a great he's a it's it's funny because on
the phone call I was just gassing him up the entire time complimenting him I'm like I can't
tell you how many times in my life I'm like oh my god I'm just like my dad oh my god I'm just like
my dad like there's so many qualities that I have um definitely my my intellect and my brain and my
like humor and my you know I have a lot of traits that are similar to him and um
you know he's a conversationalist he's he's so anyways like I just yeah I did that and I'm
proud of that and then two days later i go viral on tiktok this is where cory comes in he's like
dude he goes he never calls me dude because that's like so friend zone if your man calls
you dude sometimes he does it as like it just comes out but it's like i don't take it that hard
you know um damn i like really cried there hi emotions hi i'm a double cancer cancer sun cancer
moon hi I'm a I'm the mother of the zodiac I'm a very emotional are we in cancer season yet it's
June 20th is it cancer I feel like it's cancer season I'm not looking at the calendar because
my birthday is so soon and I literally have no plans and I'm like I'm avoiding it I'm avoiding
it right like what one thing about me is why am I avoiding it I don't know because like there's a
reason for that but I feel like in relationships like my romantic relationships I'm not that way
what's the opposite of avoidant like possessive for like uh
you're just like a leech I'm always like I'm like the what's the energy I'm like the
um like I when they pull away I push closer or yeah I have nothing like that with Corey because
it's like there is no drama there is no like push and pull bullshit but like in the past like
I always felt like the guys needed space. And then I was just like annoyingly trying to
communicate with them. And they're just like, fuck off. And they didn't even like, you know,
they didn't, it wasn't a good match, you know, whatever. But, um, no, but this is where Corey
comes in. He's like, he goes, see how the universe works. He's like, you called your dad. It's been
two years. That was beautiful. And now you've went viral on TikTok. And I monetize like that's
so sick. I'm like literally like, Oh, tick tocks, my new paycheck. Cool. Didn't plan on that. That
wasn't, that wasn't on my 2024 bingo card or it, you know, if I had to think about it, it probably
would have happened because I quit my job or actually I say I quit my, do I say that all the
time? I mean, I got hired. Um, it was kind of a mutual, it was like a, they, they fired me,
but like I basically made them fire me. So like, what do you call that? I don't know. Um,
hold on the dogs are barking sorry the guys are carrying buckets of debris from the yard i feel
labor oh my god just like they're removing a fence and we have a really steep backyard or
we have like a steep hill and then it goes into like our yard yard and the steps that go up that
are at like a 30 to 30 degree angle like so anyways um yeah what did I say oh like oh yeah
TikTok monetization now I guess we could get into that I think I pretty much summed up my father's
day and like calling my dad and how like big of a deal that was for me. And I think every kid just
wants normalcy with their parents and their family. And I'm definitely that way where you're
just like, why does it have to be a thing? You know, it's just like, it's another, it's just
another pocket of bullshit in my brain I have to deal with. It's like, fuck on top of all of the
other shit. You know what I mean? Like, that's why I think I'm cut out for storytelling and
being a podcast host and doing what I do here because like, I know I've mentioned a million
times, I faced a lot of adversity in my life. I faced a lot of dark, horrible things personally
and in my family and my career and my relationships. And I've kind of been around the block or I have
been around the block. So it's, um, yeah, it's, it's a blessing. I think people are like, Oh,
well, it sounds like you transformed your, uh, what do they say? You transformed your
pain into positivity or you're like finding a way to use it to help people now and blah,
blah, blah. And I'm like, yeah, kinda, I guess I'm one of those people that was like,
that was kind of handed that in their life. Like, okay, you're going to have to go through
all these things to, so you can help other people so that they can avoid that. Or, or they can get
through, even if they went through it, you can probably, it's probably therapeutic for them to
listen to you because they relate to it and they feel less alone and um that's what's great about
the internet and that's one of the biggest pros of social media is feeling like you're not crazy
and like you other people are like literally like the tiktok comment section I know everyone says
this it's like we're literally all the same people like we're all the same like your experience is
not unique like it's just amazing and again it's why I love this internet playground I exist on
and um it is a lot though I will say maybe we can transition into
my TikTok situation with like the video and I'll play it but did I end up did I end the
dad segment I think I did like what was the outcome of our call like what what's the next
move um another phone call and I hope that we can I hope to see him you know I haven't seen him in
person in six years and I haven't talked to him it was two years on Sunday so that'll be a trip
and I remember the last time I saw him I was like oh shit my dad got shorter it was weird um it's
one of those things where it's like damn it it doesn't have to be this way if we were just all
because I think what it is is and I and I kind of I don't know if I was projecting this on him
where I said I feel like we are similar in this way I think I was speaking for him but
it's really amazing how I think we're two souls that have so much love to give
our capacity for connection is 10 out of 10 and that's truly our
like at our core who we are and what we're capable of but we're wounded and we have
this pain that blocks us from connecting with people because of whatever i don't know what
the psychology is between or i i'm actually like this is something i'm exploring with my therapist
i really actually this will probably be our next conversation like what is it about like
reaching your hand out and connecting that is so why is there so much resistance with that with
that when you know that once you do that you feel better and you're actually happier every time you
do that every time you call a friend or call your dad or see your dad or hang out with your friend
or whatever you connect you always feel better so it's kind of like I know how good the gym makes
me feel I go there every day so I just keep going back and I go back because I know it's almost like
I haven't worked the muscle enough and I need to have more I need to get more reps in of like
ripping that band-aid band-aid off and connecting and just being like fuck my mental bullshit about
like oh this is like scary or this is uncomfortable to make this call or send this text and just like
I kind of think that's what anyone would tell me like sometimes when I talk to my therapist I like
solve my own problems while I'm talking to her and I'm like well this is what I pay you the big
bucks for right to listen to me solve my own problems but um anyways I think that's pretty
common or I'm sure I don't know it's just it's like dumb shit in my head that's like for what
you know it's like a pattern I a lot of I think uh human behavior is just like bad habits it's like
or just habits and it's hard to break those especially for if you've done them for years
and years and years so um let's let's get into the the TikTok that went viral I'll play it for
you right now so the other night I was in my kitchen and I decided to post this and
this is we're sitting at 520,000 views this is a discussion for people that don't have their
food handlers permit can we talk about how this is the appropriate amount of chicken
for the crock pot it's like if it doesn't look like an iceberg shooting out at the top
like that it's not enough chicken like you would be surprised what your crock pot is capable of
this is your psa to overfill it overstuff it and just gently set the lid
like that while you're cooking and it'll just slowly go down and down and down it's kind of
a fun thing to do like if you prep this before dinner like we're gonna sit here and eat dinner
and watch this go down I'm gonna shoot in some chili powder paprika cumin oregano salt pepper
garlic powder a bunch of other spices to make it like a taco vibe I'm just gonna like shoot them
in right there while this is going but like again this is your sign overfill your crock pot this is
okay so um yeah i have never i've never gotten so many hold on let me get off the video um
yeah the engagement i've gotten is crazy i'm up like i have my analytics here
it's like my engagement is up like a thousand percent um my likes went up 742.4 i don't know
i'm just really into these analytics analytics it's crazy because um i think it it was unintentionally
rage bait like i thought it was kind of clever i'm like wait a minute when you have solid frozen
chicken breasts in your crock pot they don't usually fit correctly like they're they're all
like janky sometimes they're stuck together and so I literally dumped the bag of chicken
the frozen chicken in there and it was like shooting out all weird and I was like you know
what this could actually work because as it cooks it's gonna like go down and down and the lid will
eventually shut over it and I was like oh let me make a tiktok oh no I knew what to say in the
beginning because I'm I'm a smart I'm a smart cookie in that regard where I'm like you know
if someone had their food handlers permit they probably wouldn't be into the into this uh into
this video or this is this is probably going to trigger them so did I make it rage bait in a way
kind of I guess but um yeah it's bad I mean everyone was giving me an education in the
comment section about the danger zone temperatures of chicken and if it sits between 41 degrees and
140 degrees for X amount of time, bacteria will grow and that bacteria will poop itself and shit
itself. And even, even if the temperature of the chicken goes to the appropriate 165 degrees
Fahrenheit, the shit, the bacteria's shit will live on and will now get into your body. And now
you will be eating the bacteria shit and then you'll get food poisoning and salmonella. Like
it's so the comments are just so like extreme and crazy and like my
like I get it you know but it's usually people that can't cook that make comments like that
and they're just scaredy cats because they're like oh my god germs bacteria I'm like bitch we
we're sacks of bacteria or we're fleshy blobs of bacteria like our whole body is back it's like
all we are so I'm not scared of a little bacteria and I was like wait a minute you're telling me
that the shit from the bacteria after it poops itself during the danger zone temperatures
isn't going to get boiled off once that chicken gets to 165 the boiling temperatures won't kill
bacteria I guess they don't so like people are still commenting and teaching me stuff and I'm
going to do some research and probably make some clap back videos I think I rolled out like 10
videos after that one to just keep the combo going. And there's still so, so many people,
they're calling it crock pot gate. Um, so if you want to like, if you want to like join up
into my, um, onto my team over here, it were team frozen chicken, hashtag team frozen chicken. So,
um, let me know, do you cook? First of all, crock pots are so like,
I feel like the instapot took over you know I don't know if I feel like crockpots are kind of
old-timey or like I'm telling it's like a kitchen aid mixer it's like every kitchen
needs a crockpot I'm I love a crockpot it's so convenient the food the food always tastes great
you're going to a you're going to a a fucking you're going to a potluck put some meatballs in
there, put that shit on low, get some barbecue sauce, like get some toothpicks, have a little
like Costco sample situation with some barbecue meatballs at the potluck, get some little
cupcake liners, drop the meatball in with a toothpick and you're off to the races and
everyone's gonna love your your potluck dish and oh it's in a crock pot the danger is oh fuck off
like literally so here's my clap back of the century I was like wait a minute reverse time
out I need to do some research here because literally I've been putting frozen meat in my
crock pot since birth or like my mom I'm pretty sure did that and then I remember I started making
this specific chicken recipe in college and I've always cooked from frozen so I took a gander
on the crock pot brand's website and according to their instructions cooking from frozen is
perfectly fine as long as the chicken is at 165 degrees or higher when it's done cooking so
um if they say it's safe then you know like aren't okay I swear on like the back of a frozen
chicken bag too like it tells you how to cook it from frozen like something I've done a lot
instead of using the crock pot and like if I'm in a pinch is I take frozen chicken breasts or
like the what are the tenderloins or even I'll do this with thighs 400 degrees
I put those on a cookie sheet I season on top of the icy like situation on the outside of the
chicken like I'll just dump spices like you kind of have to use a lot because it's gonna like get
everywhere when it melts down and anyways I like season it throw it in the oven for like sometimes
it takes like I swear it's like 400 for like 30 to 40 minutes you really have to check it and make
sure it's cooked through. And it's so good. It's like decent or it's not like so good. I don't
know. Like chicken in itself isn't, I like it in a taco. Like I liked a chicken, uh, taquito. I like
a chicken burger from chicks. I like it breaded, you know, it's not the best chicken isn't the
oh my god chicken piccata you know what I'm saying chicken marsala chicken part chicken
parm come on chicken you know chicken's great it's great plain chicken though isn't that's why
you have to do stuff to it that's why I use the crock pot when I make this recipe now for the
most part it's myself eating it so like people were in the comments were like oh my god I'm sure
you've given so many people food poisoning and you've probably made so many people sick and blah
blah blah oh my god prayers out for your stomach or blah blah blah and I'm like I've literally
never gotten sick from this and anytime anyone else has eaten it they're just they're so in awe
they're like oh my god this is so good because it is it's literally slow cooking for for like 10
hours and when you're all done with it it's like shredded taco-y moist flavorful chicken
it's so good and we had it last night and did we have it last night no the night before because
he went and got dinner with his friend what did I eat for dinner oh grocery store sushi yeah that
was at 9 p.m and a little ice cream bar um it was good then we got stoned and then I just like
couldn't move and I felt sick I was like I think I'm gonna throw up and my throat hurt because I
hate that's why I don't like smoking weed because it's like your throat hurts so bad um so anyways
I yeah I'm I'm on that algorithm wave I'm on that TikTok the algorithm finally likes me and it's
because of my stupid frozen chicken in my crock pot and I could not be happier like this is 30
like I'm literally like this is what I this is my little like you're turning 30 and this is what you
go viral for and now you're the crock pot bitch and it's like okay sure and the what I wanted to
say about this whole like experience with going viral and um and having my podcast and whatnot is
how I kind of said this in the beginning how I have poured my blood sweat and tears into this
podcast for three years now I have almost 400 episodes like we're on what for 375 cool
hours hours hours hard work hard work hard work the growth is so fucking slow like that's just
not all podcasts obviously you see podcasts blow up every other day but I'm in it for the long
game as you know and like this is a slow burn it's a slow it's a it takes a long time to build
an audience with a pop on a podcast so I get the game like I understand that's what I'm in it for
And then it's like, you post a stupid video on Tik TOK and then boom, it's like, Oh, now you're
monetized. Oh, now people are following you. And now they're asking questions about your crock pot.
And it's like, Oh. And I think, like I said, in the beginning, you just got to flow with it.
More is more. I'm a it's it's social media. Like if you're not, you have to be an attention whore,
like in a, you have to be thirsty. You have to want it. You have to go with it. You can't
fight the system you can't be like actually like I know this video blew up and I'm getting all this
engagement but really I want people to listen to my podcast so like I don't really care like this
video can have all these views and whatnot but like I'm not going to capitalize on this moment
I'm just going to like go back to my little podcast my little audience over here no bitch
make that money on TikTok and fucking blow that shit up so like I had Corey taking a bite doing
a taste test. I've like, Oh my God, I've grossed out so many people. I'm like showing them the
aftermath of the chicken, like in the pot. And it looks so gross. Like it tastes great, but like
nothing about what's inside a crock pot is beautiful. Like it's not aesthetically it's,
it's like mush, you know? So I've been doing that. Um, I made a video this morning for
Paige DeSorbo um a stitch for a clip with her and Hannah talking about they have the giggly
giggly squad oh my god they have the giggly giggly squad try to say giggly and burp at the same time
it's like comes out it's like I can't do it because I already burped but um the giggly
squad podcast they're the hosts of Hannah Burner and Paige DeSorbo and Paige it was great timing
she's like yeah it finally happened to me I can't eat chicken anymore because it tastes like chicken
and she's like I've heard this happens to other people before and it finally happened to me and
so I was like oh great timing like I made a stitch or a video for her um and I was like you need a
crock pot and this is the recipe you need to make and oh yeah and I was like what did I say I was
like love your work it's like how do you tie in your podcast to your viral chicken content without
being thirsty and like pushy you know so um it's fun like I want to keep the momentum obviously
like once you get it it's like hard to lose it or like you it sucks when you lose it so
I get how when people get on TikTok and their videos start popping how I I get the and and
you're getting like the creator fund Instagram is trash first of all like they rolled out some sort
of like um creator fund type thing for their reels a couple years ago and I was making money
off of that and it was great and then they just took it away and I'm like TikTok just to me it's
like the it's a they do they treat their creators well like it makes it fun to like post content
Cause you're like, oh, well I might get a little kickback from this. And, um, and then it just
incentivizes you, honestly, if you're a content creator to like work hard and to, to put an effort
and to make good content and to not like fuck around and just post whatever it's like, no, well
now you can treat it more like a job because they're actually paying you for it. And so,
um, next thing you know, I'm going to be on like, I'm going to be selling crockpots on TikTok shop.
um I don't know if that price point is right though because like when I'm on TikTok and I
see a video from like a TikTok shop video like everyone is trying to sell me this damn
ninja creamy right now this like ice cream maker from ninja they make the ninja makes like blenders
and shit and it's like $170 and I'm like whenever I'm on if I see a TikTok shop and it's like this
zip up jacket is $3 and 20 cents. I'm like instantly buy it. Like there's, how do you not
buy shit that it's, there's so many things that are that cheap. I honestly have never bought
something. I've never bought something off TikTok shop, but my site, the psychology, when I see
that, I was like, Oh yeah. Like if I really wanted this, it's so cheap, like just buy it. But $170.
The crock pots are like that. They're like, anyways. So that's the latest on my
my TikTok um it's hard to keep up with these comments um something I noticed though is like
I've been posting podcast clips of me sitting here with a microphone talking to the talking
to the camera about whatever you know like just the best parts of my podcast I clip out
and I post and it's like I usually look pretty decent you know like I'm my hair is done my
makeup's done I'm like sitting there in a nice outfit like I've got the whole setup is like
official and like oh she has a podcast and those flop and like the algorithm just hasn't and I
think it's because I haven't really like figured out I made a new account but like whatever and
then the videos where I'm like I literally look like shit I'm literally like in a hoodie my like
fresh from the gym like not even trying and I guess that's what people say like sometimes those
undone like raw just like you're right there with me kind of videos are the most
engaged with or the most popular because it's it doesn't feel like you're being talked at or like
you're so anyways that's a content creator segment um hot girl summer tips there's only
three things you need to worry about when it comes to being hot next segment
said this before and i'll say it again hair tan nails hair tan nails oh wait no oh shit
hair tan nails that's it make sure your toes are done you're gonna be wearing a lot of sandals
a lot of open-toed shoes this summer keep your toes nice number one toes and nails
on your hands get those cuticles moistened okay don't have crusty because like that sun will burn
your toes pretty bad and it'll start crusting away like get a pedicure do it yourself I don't
know what you have to do but like toes or nails and toes done tan be tan figure that out it's
either going to be a spray tan or going to be naturally tan natural tan is hard to uh keep up
with, especially if you're not in a hot climate. Now I'm fortunate enough to live in Southern
California. I live in San Diego. It's been hot recently. I can tan easily. Well, I can burn.
Clearly I burned. It's like a burn tan, if that makes sense. Like, it's not like,
it's not like I used to be where I would be like a hot pink pig and I couldn't sleep. And I was
like, no, no, no, not that kind of burn. I've burned that bad before, but this is like a kind
of a hybrid but yeah be tan have your nails and toes done and your hair needs to look nice okay
there are some bonus things you can do but if you don't have those three things dialed in
this is by the way this these are hot girl summer tips these are hot girl all year all year long
tips actually let's just broaden this I'm making this summer because it's the first day of summer
but like I can't help you if those three things aren't dialed in I can't help you
okay those are a number those are the that is like your baseline hair nails tan have you ever
seen a hot girl that's pale I personally haven't now you could see a girl on a beautiful girl on
a beach with a pale body it's just not the same like I don't care who you are what country you're
from I don't care what you're into hot girls are tan period end of story their nails are done
their nails are nice um now it's like if you're a hippie hot girl maybe you don't have maybe you're
natural maybe you're natural no polish going on but you're probably tan your hair probably looks
nice but yeah now hair is interesting because I don't think I have perfect hair like by any means
and I think it's because I fully bleached it in 20 what was that 2020 and kind of ever since then
it's been hard to get that health back that like virgin hair health back because I've died over it
and it's like I'm I just continue to dye it and I balayaged it a lot recently and so I'm still
working on like the hair health but it needs to be done like you need to have a blowout going on
you need to do rollers you need to do like prioritize your hair over your makeup okay
we'll get into skin and makeup in a sec because those are like bonus things but
if you look at someone their hair is so much of the visual experience it's like so much going on
with the head and the hair from the back from the front like there's a lot of hair happening so
just make sure it's nice and the blowout is undefeated so figure out a way to blow out your
hair i have a dyson air wrap um but honestly i have a 10 minute hair curling routine i do with
my, I just have like a curling wand. I just put some waves in it really quick, 10 minutes of your
day. Right. And it looks great. Um, something that's been really hard lately though, is doing
hot yoga. Cause I'll do my morning lift and then I'll go back at like four 30, 5 30 PM and do
hot yoga. And so I'm like, okay, my hair is fully drenched after yoga. And then I go home and shower
and then I wash my hair because it's so gross and then I wake up and then I go work out again
and then it gets sweaty again and then it's like where do I have the nice hair you know like
it's just a lot so I think slick slick back hair is out I think it's getting a little bit exhausted
um it's so like no effort and I and I love that about it but um figure out a quick blowout
routine I don't know what that looks like for you get that Revlon air dryer blow dryer curler
thing because honestly I have the Dyson air wrap and sometimes I miss that thing I threw it out
and I kind of miss it had its own flair to it it's not as nice as the Dyson but like it it had a way
about itself that was very like quick and efficient and it made my hair look nice and I will say
though with that Revlon blowout tool thing what is it called the the Revlon whatever you kind of
have to replace it every few months because those bristles get really um hot and they break and
it doesn't work the same so nails tan hair said it before and I swear like this is something I
preach um I'm telling myself this too by the way now is life all about looking hot absolutely
it's a core tenant or core value on this podcast it's like it's not all about looking hot but
woman to woman like kind of is like everyone's got their own version for themselves of like when
they look their best and and just I think the goal is to instead of obsessing over it or whatever
like just figure out how you okay if you know how you look your best figure out a way a way to
maintain that is like all the time and I think the more you do it the more you keep up with it
the more you work on it like that then it just becomes like who you are and there isn't this
thing of like oh I have to get hot it's like no you're just like always on point that's the that's
the goal, right? Like you, it's hard, like it's easy to slip. It's easy to fall into like, you
know, feeling like you're in a funk. But I think those three things though, will also make you
feel better. Like you all, I always feel better when I'm tan. Now I can only speak from being a
white girl. Like this is like, that's just what it is. But as a white girl, like nothing makes
me feel better than like being super tan. And then it's like, think about it. Anytime you're
in Europe oh my god everyone's going to Europe right now it's like Euro summer 2024 um I'm just
jealous that's why I'm making fun of it like that um literally anytime I've been to Europe or
anytime I see Europeans like on social media it's like they're so tan and it's so like
disgustingly they're they're so disgustingly naturally good looking too and I'm just like
yes bitch like just oh my god you know who's also like bringing being hot and tan back is Tate
McRae Tate McRae tan look at that hair hair tan her nails are always snatched that is that's all
her makeup looks good sure her skin looks great her body look I mean great but like those three
things are what is making it look as good as it is and she's just beautiful and like you know
she's got confidence and that the confidence is probably like 90% of being a hot girl like
literally it's just how you carry yourself but like those other things help um bonus things you
can do let's talk about skin and hair or no excuse me let's talk about skin and makeup
it's summertime it's hot um I think we've all kind of collectively decided to wear less and less
makeup over the last few years obviously during COVID it was all about like the clean girl
aesthetic and less is more makeup and no makeup makeup and model off-duty makeup and blah blah
like how Hailey Bieber wears it um and so that's great because like I don't I cake my so when I was
at the Luke Combs concert I caked my face like the reason I do that and I did it at that wedding I
went to the other weekend I do it for photos because I just look I can wear a lot of makeup
and so and because of that my face can handle a lot of it I pump it up and especially if I'm
taking photos and I'm gonna be outlaid and it's like dark anyways and so that's the only time I
really take it on but like day to day I like how it's all about like a skin tint a little like
glowy cream blush a little lip gloss a little mascara and a little you know brow love it looks
great yeah the hot girl tip is like prioritize skin over makeup if your skin looks great you
won't need as much makeup and like taking good care of your skin is like so key to this like
it'll you'll feel more confident if you're if you're not sitting there with a lot of like acne
like stuff you know I personally I'm team picker over here I'm team pick my face for no reason
over here I'm team I'm on FaceTime or not even FaceTime because I would I would never I'm team
I'm on the phone and I'm zoning out to my zoning out to the conversation uh with my magnifying
mirror just going to town on a pour that sort of looks clogged that I decided needed to come
so yeah taking good care of your skin is this these are all things you already know like I'm
not telling you anything new um I guess this goes for guys too for guys it's like tan hair
what do you guys need
I feel like guys have to work on what is their thing stature
everyone has to work on their body but like what is the guy's like good hair I think that's all
they have right they only really have their hair and their style facial hair helps um teeth I don't
know like it's kind of the same for guys as it is girls just being well kept it's like I don't know
um yeah we're doing like a simple makeup routine I do like a five minute thing where I do the same
thing every day and it's just like mascara brows a little lip concealer I think that's it a little
eyeshadow I always I have the kind of eyelids where I need a little shadow just to add some
depth because they're kind of veiny you know so um cool what are bonus things oh jewelry
it's summertime we're tan we're wearing gold jewelry look at any hot girl they're wearing
gold jewelry and they're wearing a lot of it we're stocking our necklaces we're stocking
our rings we're stocking our bracelets more is more with jewelry it just you could be wearing
a hoodie you could be like that's the thing like you could be wearing this most simple like
athleisure outfit but if you have like nice jewelry on it's just gonna take you to that
next level. And you're just going to look so much more put together and like elevated and hot. Like
you're going to be like jingling around your bangles when you're like ordering your coffee
and you're like going to hold your Starbucks. You're going to walk around, walk around the
mall. I don't know. Where are you going to walk around the, you're going to walk around
Trader Joe's with your Starbucks and it's going to be like so cute. And it's going to be like,
oh my god um yeah jewelry um I actually got a bunch of jewelry last night at Marshall's so
they have good quality stuff there and yeah I was just like I want some stuff for summer
get some like colorful stuff get some like baby blues some lavenders some pinks like on the wrist
you know a little color pop um trying to think for like you can't go wrong with like a sunburst
or a moon pendant you know on your neck um I don't know some like bullhorns or what are those
like necklaces that look like horns wishbones I don't know just figure it out um like details
matter and like this is what I'm saying details like having your nails nails done that aren't
like shitty like they're they look good that's a detail being tan is like you wouldn't if you
don't think about it you won't do it and so like you won't look as good or like as hot and so it's
like that's a detail you got to like keep up with then it's like hair that's a little more effort
you got to like think about it also like getting the right hair color for your skin tone dialing
that in with your hairdresser like that's another detail that's like it makes a difference the
little jewelry details you know those things now I could go into outfits and clothes and all I'm
not the expert on fashion over here like I still think I have post-pandemic like uh blindness
fashion blindness like I don't even know and I'm turning 30 I'm like I still wear crop tops I still
wear bodycon dresses and like stuff I wore in college and it is what it is like I'm not trying
to overthink oh I'm older and I need to like I don't know I really don't like my biggest ick
right or not ick my biggest pet peeve is when like early to mid-20s girls are dressing like
they're 45 because it's like coastal grandmother or like I mean it's the fucking honestly I love
it in a way because it's like this is refreshing the whole like I swear it's like Sophia Richie
got married everyone became obsessed with her like tiktok videos and her style and then it's
like now we're all dressing what she like basically started the old money the old money uh trend old
money why does that sound weird when i'm saying it old money old money and that you just can't
cosplay that you can't actually you can't like i guess you can dress more conservatively and buy
pieces that are higher quality and like less like you know fast fashion looking okay fine but
I just like see outfits sometimes and I'm like it's just not serve it's you're young like be
just be hot like it's one of my core literally one of my episodes be a whore be a whore that
is one of my episode titles I'm pretty sure is it I think I did wh apostrophe re as
yeah like just like lean into it a little bit if you're not comfortable being that way I guess
don't do it but I don't know I think it helps like just the whole it helps everything
be have class but like pump things up a little bit you know what I mean push the envelope
envelope a little bit. Wear a little lace. Put on that crop top if you're 32. Say no to aging or
say no to ageism, ageism, ageism, ageist. Am I being ageist? You know what? Here's the truth.
Do whatever the fuck you want. Fuck you want. I don't know why I decided to make this a segment
today, but I was like, you know, first day of summer, like what are all the hot girls doing?
And I'm telling you, you can't DM me a picture of a hot girl that is doesn't have her hair done, doesn't have nice nails and isn't tan.
You just can't. So that's why I make that such a big point in the beginning.
It's like, though, that's the holy trinity of being a hot girl. Hair and nails tan. Boom.
Now, again, we could talk about the body and we could talk about like, you know, how that is literally 90 percent of it sometimes, too, is like, oh, well, your body's just great.
so like of course you're gonna look hot but I believe that hot can be at every size I think
that everyone can like it's possible it just depends because I'm not a dummy I know everything's
like in the eye of the beholder and you know maybe like a pale goth girl maybe that's what
you're super attracted to and so like great this isn't for you but um yeah happy summer just
I don't know I just had a thought though about like being a woman and how much
like god should I just go on right now about this this is like
I'm like is this dark do I want to say this right now it's kind of along the lines of like my hot
hot girl summer tips but just how like when you live with a man and by the way I have zero
complaints like the thing I've embraced about being a woman is like this is just what it is
and it's not basically I think if I resisted all these things I do and if I was like against all
I don't think I would like I don't know where the fuck I'd be in this world right now I might
be in the Netherlands with a goat in a shack like doing mushrooms every day with braided armpit hair
and a lesbian girlfriend or a girlfriend were lesbians that's what I was trying to say like
there I feel like when you resist it and when you're like oh fuck the patriarchy and fuck all
this shit women have to do to maintain their beauty and their appearance it's like I don't
know. Sometimes it's, I get it. I get like, this is where I'm going. So one of the themes this year
has been like so much to do so little time, like planning a wedding. I'm, you know, we just bought
a house. I have this podcast I'm doing while I was working a full-time job, which I now don't
have anymore, but now I'm doing like full-time content creation. And it's like so much to do
so little time. And I I've realized something, my girl stuff, like the hours I, I spend so much time
in the bathroom, like in appointments, like maintaining my, like at the gym, let's just
say that too. Like I work out really hard. I don't, I mean, so much of my life is about
maintaining my appearance and it's kind of crazy because when you live with a man you're just like
and this isn't my first rodeo by the way like I've lived I've lived with a man before but
and if you date a guy and you're not living together you still witness this
and it's so like old news like we all know this but you see how guys are and it's like damn they
really can just like take a shower put on an outfit judge their judge their hair a little bit
put on some cologne and dip and it's like fucking my I you know and they have it we all have our
they have it hard in certain ways just like women do and what I think that I'm the thing that scares
me the thing that scares me I think is I'm not I think because my identity is wrapped up in my
appearance or what what is okay did I say that correctly my because I value it or it's a it's a
a main pillar of like who I am is like being well put together and looking good and this that and
the other and and knowing behind all that there's a lot it's it's not effortless nothing is fucking
effortless. Like no one is, no one is just naturally like effortlessly beautiful. Like
there is maintenance going on behind the scenes. Even someone that is like, Oh, they're so natural.
It's like, no, that is so rare. And sure. They're the 1% of the 1%, but like truly a lot of the
times there's like so much effort and maintenance stuff going on behind the scenes. And so what I'm
saying is like, as I get older and like when we have kids and all that, I'm like, Oh my God,
like where's that time gonna be that time I'm not gonna have the I won't be able to I'm gonna
have to get so good at and so efficient at it I don't know what I'm gonna do but I guess as a
woman you're like I never want to lose it and so I think a priority and oh my god I'm gonna go here
I'm gonna go here fuck it Corey and I went out to a live music thing in our new neighborhood
episode um a few weeks ago and okay this is fucked up I don't care you know what this is
the truth and this is the truth I don't care I'll admit it so again being looking good as this now
this is now the uh I talked to my dad we rekindled our bond I went to Luke Holmes and it was fun and
now we're talking about being hot and everything about being a woman and your appearance that's
the episode. So cool. We're just going to double down. We're going to do it. Oh, also I went viral
on Tik TOK for having, for putting chicken in my crock pot when it was frozen. Cool.
Also happy first day of summer. Um, Jesus.
So we're at this live music thing and it's a very family friendly area we live in. So there's a lot
of young families here which is great because like that'll be us soon and um I hope uh I hope
everything it's such a wild thing to think about like the next few years like whoa just like mini
me's running around like what the fuck um it will never having kids will never not be crazy to me
just mentally to like when I because I overanalyze it or I deep think about it and it's so wild I'm
like oh my god such a big deal like I don't understand how people are just like yeah we'll
have a couple kids it'll be like a thing no I'm like that is such a huge thing to do and it's like
wild it's like anyways so we're sitting I think this was on our you know what this was on our
two-year anniversary so this was May 17th or our two-year anniversary we go mini golfing and
there's like live music after and there's a bunch of families there with there with their kids doing
mini golf and everyone's kind of like sitting around and eating drinking and watching the music
and Corey and I are sitting in these picnic or picnic picnic chairs like these wood picnicky
chairs and I noticed pretty much in the first like 30 seconds of sitting down what was sitting
across from us and it was so and then I was looking around and I was noticing it everywhere
now and then Corey I pointed it out to him and he said he was thinking the same thing the whole time
and it was just like oh my god you know and I don't care like one thing about me is I'm gonna
say I'm gonna be honest on here I'm gonna say what I really think and at the end of the day like
this matters to me it might not matter to you this might be offensive to you to me it's just like
an observation and something that is kind of crazy to me I'm sitting across from a very good
looking man and his wife and their kids I think they only had one kid with them in a stroller
it's like a pretty it was like a toddler age kid wasn't like a baby and I'm looking at this
very good looking man I mean I'm talking like tall dark handsome chiseled jawline built he's like
really good looking and I obviously know I'm a human being I notice other people like I'm
oh what about cory are you checking other guys out while you're with him it's not like that i'm
just what i was observing as i'm sitting looking across from this at this 10 of a 10 man physically
like anyone who would see him would be like damn that's a hot guy or whatever like
cool and his wife i'm sorry this is where i get like this is where people will probably like go
oh this is so fucked up you know you're so mean or like I'm telling you she was
borderline a three and so like you could tell she was cute at one point but she like fully
let herself go I mean probably 100 pounds overweight dressed like shit horrible yeah
just like I feel like everyone there was wearing just horrible like baggy ass jeans ugly shirts
frumpy shoes like they just and so what I'm saying is I point this out to Corey he's like yeah like
holy shit and I was like look around all the guys there were very good looking now I live in I live
in San Diego and like a lot of I feel like a lot of the dudes around here into working out like
crossfit and like being in shape and whatnot i feel like women are obviously men and women
around tr but it's like all the moms and this is what i don't want for myself and this is the whole
like round top like this is me rounding out this topic is it's like all of the guys stayed super
hot and super attractive and well kept and like they're doing great physically and all the women
just look like shit and i mean this out of like kind of loving away because it it will it's like
why do you care? Why is this important? It's because like, I see this discrepancy where I'm
like, damn, I just, I feel like as a woman, when you have kids and you're just dealing with,
you know, your body changing, first of all, cause like, that's a huge factor. Of course,
I give them that grace because they just had babies and their, you know, their bodies changed
so, so much. I'm not disregarding that. So I totally acknowledge that. I understand how hard
that can be to like lose the baby weight and, you know, get back to how you were before. But
it's like, I feel like you have to fight so hard to keep your, and it's also probably genetically
people are genetically blessed in different ways. And maybe this is a huge factor too,
which I'm sure it is. You have to fight so hard to like keep your, that essence of like
attractiveness and hotness while you're a mom, a new mom. And like, and it's also like,
there's a lot of pressure on you obviously and like judgmental people sitting around you at a
picnic on a picnic chair like me like being like what the fuck you're you're you have a hot husband
like what are you doing you know I just go like fuck it was such a stark difference and that's
what I'm that's the reason why I pointed it out I was like something doesn't look right here like
all of these guys are killing it and then the wives just look horrible it's always like the
jean jackets too it was the the jeans the baggy jeans and there's jean jackets and there's like
bob cuts and like birkenstocks and just like backpacks on and I don't know like how do you
I see it all the time on social media like hot moms doing their thing and you just gotta fight
for that you gotta like keep it up you gotta like I don't know what it's so like we I feel like women
are so like it's grueling it's fucking grueling sometimes and exhausting I that's the thing like
I understand how people are like fuck it I'm just gonna be me and not necessarily let myself go but
not care so much anymore I understand how that probably comes with age and like I don't want
that I just like I care too much I'm like honestly and this is for I think if that is how you're
really if you want to be attracted to your partner you don't want that to go away and I and I think
of that I consider that it's like a reason why I even have that fear of like oh I'm gonna be
this frumpy ass mom you know with my hot husbands and no um it just was crazy honest honestly I was
like I don't know what everyone just looked like this is so mean everyone just looked like they
were it's just like plain Jane kindergarten teacher vibes like I don't know how to explain
it you guys know what I'm talking it's just it's and I'm like your husband's so hot though like
what are you like how could you I don't know maybe they're I don't know it's just my own
judgmental eyeballs coming up with these conclusions in my head, but, um, it must be
hard. Like, honestly, I see, I think I see it enough where I'm like, damn. And like, I follow
the, I follow this mom on Tik TOK and she's great. I love it. I literally like every video she posts
and it's giving like I don't know I think it's the moms this is what happens I think it's the
this is why am I even I'm not even first of all qualified to have the talk about this because
like I personally don't know what it's like to have kids so I acknowledge that like I'm
completely judging right now I'm saying what's on my mind I'm having no filter and and I'm being
kind of I get it I know how this could come across but I feel like what I witnessed it's it's the moms
who didn't really have an identity before so like for me it's like my identity is like I said
wrapped up in my parents it's intertwined it's it's a huge port it's a big piece of the puzzle
of my life and I'll admit it I'll be like fuck yeah it's part of showbiz okay you gotta work on
the moneymaker you got to work on the it's part of the game like it's part of my life and it's a
it's it's just who I am at this point so I'm whatever and so that's part of my identity what
I'm saying is I feel like a lot of these moms that I'm judging and talking shit on about their
frumpy outfits is um it's always the ones that like their whole identity after kids becomes that
they're a mom and they have kids it's not about like oh I'm a hot wife anymore I'm a wife and
this is me my hot husband I'm you know they like it just all everything becomes about
being a mom and kids and and so when I follow this mom on TikTok it's like
it's almost like I know nothing about her I just know everything about
her kids and being a parent and and I know that's what her lane is on
I know that's her niche but it's hard to explain it's like
yeah it seems kind of like that's what goes down and then you don't realize it's happening and then
now yeah your husband's looking like a 10 year old like three standing next to him when maybe
he used to keep it together like he did but see men it's like they it's just different it's just
different sometimes I get like mad about it I'm like damn it's like so so much of a sacrifice not
I think having kids is the most like rewarding most fulfilling thing human beings can do
I truly believe in that and I think that is kind of the Everest for me like that chapter of my life
will be like holy shit I have arrived like people say I didn't my life didn't start until I had kids
and I don't believe that for myself I think I've lived many lives honestly but I can only see how
beneficial and how great my life will become once we have kids like that's a there's no doubt in my
mind about that I just think that yeah Jacqueline it's not all about like being a hot girl and you
can be a frumpy mom, frumpy mom, summer, 2024. You guys know what I'm talking about? I swear
there's at least one person listening that gets it. So what are we going to do to, to, uh,
dude, but doesn't that just make you feel like a fucking object? You're like, Oh my God. Now I
have to so not only am I birthing children and you know like ruining my body multiple times over
well my husband doesn't have to go through any physical physical changes not only am I doing
that after I do that I gotta stay hot and I gotta get as hot as I was before and then like your
whole life is about like being attractive for like so your man is attracted to you it's like
damn dude they have to do it too I think it's a two-way street I think I'm I'm big on that too
but they age like a fine fucking wine fuck honestly fuck the patriarchy fuck men end of
the episode we're oh my god isn't that crazy how you can spiral though and I'm so it's like I'm
grateful for men and I think that they're great and all like and then sometimes I spiral like
this about like the life of a woman compared to a man and I feel like for them it's just all about
like status and like um their career and how much money they make and how much power they have and
how much they can yeah provide for their family but that's their cross to bear and for women it's
like how long and how well can they maintain their beauty and their hotness
what did what's the thing for for men uh their value is their value is what's the phrase
currency is currency for men and beauty is currency for women is you know currency is
currency is currency for men or value for currency is currency beauty is currency for women yeah
but that's just the society we live in right so like I'm speaking for me I'm literally so
programmed I'm literally so it's like social media uh Instagram girl brain rot over here
talking about aesthetics and looking hot like literally I'll admit that like I don't deny that
at all totally brainwashed but I look around and it's like this has been going on for centuries
so kind of like what I said last episode about trad wives like this isn't new so don't feel bad
about it and that's the thing I'm like really learning about myself is how I am such a little
like mushy sponge in my brain sometimes where I can get manipulated by what I see online and then
I changed my opinion really quick and then I don't really know what my actual opinion is
and lately I'm like pulling the reins back and I'm remembering I'm remembering like who I am
and what I actually stand for and like I'm not appalled I'm not trying to be wishy-washy about
it like I'm not trying to be like like as far as being politically politically correct and saying
the nicest thing like I just yeah I think there's certain like kind of like basic rules for life
for men and women that in that has historically worked patterns have historically worked and I
think that, I mean, I'm a, I'm a walking, talking example of how I, how like boss babying or
whatever. Uh, I boss babe too hard, or I'm basically a walking, talking and talking example
of how, of why women shouldn't work or like why it's horrible for women to not shouldn't work,
But, like, how it literally, like, it was, like, killing my, it was not killing me, but, like, it's just, like, not meant, I'm, like, this is going against me in this corporate environment is, like, so unnatural to, like, who I am as a woman.
I have no I had never I never once in any of my corporate jobs ever gave up literally I was like
I'm here to work I'm doing my job I'm not invested like into I don't care like literally and I think
that's what the issue is in the disconnect it's like I think men love to build things they love
to like like find success and build empires or whatever and so for them to like like the way
i the when i witnessed cory leave for work it's like this man is going on a fucking like mission
to mars right now and sometimes he zones out like 30 seconds before leaving the door and i can just
tell he's already in work mode like he's already thinking and like i know he's excited like he
loves it like he lives and not like he lives he it's just how his brain works I see this around
all the time like with guys that just how they talk to each other and what they're into and I
couldn't give two fucks me oh my god all I'm doing is that when I have my corporate job and I open up
my computer it's just like I'm rolling my eyes the entire fucking time literally like I'm just
like get me out of here I hate I literally hated it so it helps to be passionate about what you're
doing clearly. Okay. Even if you do work a corporate job, you're into like, that's obviously
better than hating it. So passion is passion. I don't care what you're doing. I'm not totally
shitting on the corporate world. I think it's, it works. It does its thing. But if you're a woman
out there, who's like, dude, my brain is fried. I feel like it's like, I think my heart, I need
to get my hormones checked I'm not my acne's out of control and I'm really bloated all the time
it's probably your corporate job like straight up like we should not be staring at spreadsheets as
women we should be baking bread and tending to our garden and nursing our babies period that's
what we've been doing for the long I'm now like oh my god is this like Jacqueline just this is my
new brand like I am fully leaning in now that I blew up on TikTok for putting food in my crock pot
um I am now fully in my trad wife era and I'm gonna preach to the sun and the moon about
women being just women and how we should be and not I don't know but yet here I am like trying
to build my empire with my podcast and my um TikTok but it's like creative and fun and more
girly and it's more in alignment with like how my brain works so like sure that's probably what it
is great you know what I mean am I and I think about this sometimes I'm like am I just like
super lazy and like I don't want to do anything and then I'm like no bitch you're so fucking
exhausted from all your all of your hot girl girl routines all day like literally you need a nap
after 10 a.m because it's like I'm kidding but do you ever think about that like oh my god this is
why I don't think like if you're like oh my god this is getting I'm so I'm out of line and I'm
spiraling and I don't give I literally this is why I love podcasting because this is what happens
is I start am I still high from yeah I'm like from like over 12 hours ago it's now I started
this at 11 what was that 11 42 it's 133 so cool um no like if you're a man and you're like
okay and you have a hot wife or like a hot girl and you're like oh my god she's so hot
you know and then you also know that she works out for two hours a day you know keeps up with
all of her like maintenance girly maintenance appointments like hair nails tan lashes
botox lips whatever she fucking does to look that hot and if you're like aware of all of that
and then you know that like that takes up a lot of her time like a lot of her fucking time because
it's like oh on top of that she's also like dialed in with a diet eating super healthy like
whatever she's also probably if you live together like keeping things cleaned and organized and
stocked and she's just like naturally falling into that routine of being a housewife this is
like if it's your wife and then you expect her to go to work from nine to five on top of all that
shit I'm sorry like that's where I go like damn if you're like hot hot like you should only be
with a man that can afford you afford you literally like you should not have to deal with
all of that work bullshit on top of all of that maintenance and an aesthetic bullshit I'm sorry
and if you I'm not even sorry like it's just a category of human you are like woman you are and
and there's just embrace it and be like yeah that's you gotta have you gotta like pay to play
like do you know what I mean and then it's like you're gonna have kids and then you're gonna be
like now on top of that you got it so now you expect her to birth your children now you gotta
go to work you're gonna have maternity leave for fucking three weeks in america and then you're
gonna now you're gonna be fat you're gonna have kids you're gonna be you're not gonna be hot
you're gonna have these babies and then he still got it now you gotta stay hot so you gotta keep
with all your appointments and shit and all this extra time spent on how you look and then also
it's like bitch go to work from nine to five and and commute two hours and like like if you're with
if that is your situation and that is and your man is requiring that of you I'm sorry I'm not
sorry it's just I feel like it's the whole like pick two like you have to like you can't have it
all and so I think when you put your priorities out there if you like lay everything out and
you're honest about like what you prioritize and what's important to you. And Hey, like I,
like I'm admitting here, I'm saying like, I'm fully admitting I care about looking good and
feeling good. And I, that's a huge pillar of my life. Like I'm admitting that that's a priority.
Like maybe for you, it's not. So like, that's off the, those aren't, that's not part of your
pick too, you know? And then it's like career stuff is over here. And then it's like, you know,
You have all your priorities and then you just make your decisions based off of that and what's the most important and call it superficial, call it shallow, call it whatever you want to call it.
all the research says, all the research says that people judge you based off of how you look
and people that are considered attractive, like get more out of life and are treated better than
people that aren't just like, you don't have to be super like there's a spectrum obviously, but
that's just like a scientific fact and a social hierarchy kind of fact where it gets you far
like I feel like if I didn't give a shit like I said I'd be in the Netherlands with a goat with
braided armpit hair I'd be a lesbian uh eating snorting what do they do over there I don't
Netherlands why am I thinking that is this Amsterdam I don't know taking tabs ass I don't
know with my goat and drinking goat milk and probably be I'd probably be like I don't know
so yeah you just got to pick and choose what you want out of life and
own it I'm all I'm I'm I'm all about you just just love it own it be it want it do it I got
to end this episode this is like a long ass tangent about like I said it's so superficial
and like but I look around and this is a thing because I'm very observant this is what I do here
I'm very I'm naturally very curious about human behavior say human psychology why people do what
they do think what they think say what they say and um it's really amazing how like or not even
amazing it's kind of like what even is it because I'm like oh it's a negative thing it's so
superficial. It's so dumb because it's not really, that's not what life's all about. But I look
around and like I said, the market is always right. The algorithm is always right. Like the people
want what the people want. And what do all the fucking people want since social media rolled out
and like Instagram and even fucking Facebook. Like it's hot people, good looking people,
attractive people. Those are the faces everyone wants. Those are the accounts everyone wants to
follow. That's what everyone turns to. Look at us obsessing over the Kardashians and their looks and
it's just it's a never-ending thing you know and it's so like it clearly is a human behavior thing
it's clearly what so what I'm saying is I get how dumb it's I'm being realistic that's one thing
about me is I'm not delusional I'm not like oh this shit doesn't matter and it's about what's
on the inside well yes that is true yes that is true two things can be true at once okay
but I don't I think when you see someone who clearly has their shit together it's you're more
likely to trust them befriend them listen to them work with them than someone who's a mess
and who let themselves go and is sloppy and you know morbidly obese or like whatever I don't know
like so again that's why I'm gonna stop feeling bad about being honest even if it sounds really
mean and judgmental because it's sometimes it's true and sometimes if I have to be the one to be
honest and truthful then sure I'll do it um yeah that's really like the MO here it's like
yeah I just you have nothing to I have nothing to lose I have everything to gain with
popping off because what does that even mean um it's my it's my favorite kind of content to
listen to where i'm where i'm like damn they really said that i'm like yep i really said that
probably it's literally not even that bad that's the thing i'm like it's not even that bad i'm
feeling now i'm backpedaling because i'm like someone out there is probably like what the fuck
I love the phrase the girls that get it get it because the girls that get it get it
and it's really funny I will say this is this tea is a shade is this
indirect is this like what do you what did they used to call in the early twitter days like an
indirect or a sub tweet or a yeah like sub tweeting when you'd like repost something that
was directed at a person that follows you, but you didn't want to obviously tag them. So you
just like reposted a tweet that had everything to do with, you know what I mean? So what's really
crazy is how I'm having this full circle moment right now where I feel like some people that used
to not fly with how I am as far as like caring about how I look and like making it a priority
and like talking about it and it's like I feel like I'm being there it's like now they listen
and now they're like that worked for her so I'm gonna basically copy and follow suit because
do you know what I mean and it's really interesting because I've always said or I
haven't said this I think a lot of the pros out there always say success leaves clues
so I'm not I'm no I'm no dummy like I'm not doing anything special over here I'm basically just
copying other I'm copying I'm following a formula that works there's a type of woman I want to
emulate a type of woman I want to be and so therefore I act and do the things that that
type of woman would do and that's just who I am now and that goes for anything like any kind of
hobby you want to get into or any profession or anything it's like copy that race car driver that
has the most trophies copy what he does what does he eat in the morning and how many hours of sleep
does he get and how many cars does he crash like like follow suit like do what the other the people
that have been successful in what you want to do follow what they do kylie got a bbl so i got a bbl
that's why I went to Newport I'm getting you guys breaking news I'm getting a BBL
goodbye no can you imagine like
