Hi, happy Labor Day. Welcome back to the podcast. I want to shout out all the essential workers
right now this year that never got a quarantine. Happy Labor Day. I'm going to take a sip of
kombucha. Cheers to that. Actually, I can't. Oh my gosh, this is going to be a problem for
staying hydrated on the podcast. I now have a call center headset, so there's a microphone
in front of my mouth. So hold on, let me remove this. I really need a drink of my kombucha to
finish that cheers. Pretend we just tapped, uh, glasses. I've been thinking about all of you a
lot today. Anyone that's worked all year that never got a quarantine, like it must be so annoying to
see people talk about quarantine all the time on social media. And you're just like, dude,
I've never stopped, never stopped, uh, grinding. Okay. So I'm having way too much fun with this
microphone. I'm going to turn it down a little bit. Um, yeah, I decided, uh, on, it was like
30 bucks on Amazon, a call center headset. I like the look. It's light on the head, so it's not
weighing me down, and it's cute. I love having the little microphone in front of my face. It's kind
of like, I don't know, I'm like a pop star. I'm like a pilot. It's cool. So, okay, today I want to,
there's a lot on my mind, okay? So, I just want to start out and say that,
oh my gosh I have so much to say so where do I where do I start I have a whole note in my phone
to you know keep tabs on on this brain dump because this is what I've identified about
this podcast this podcast is not to teach you anything it's not to um I don't know like I'm
not trying to change the world with this podcast this is literally just a brain dump
and it's a it's a safe space because to me humor is a safe space nonsense bullshit shit talking
about like me drinking kombucha and having an issue with my microphone like complete nonsense
bullshit that you can just zone out to and go on a walk and listen to or whatever like that that's
what this podcast is okay so I've already identified that I'm not the type of person that's
like Jacqueline oh my gosh I know what you should do you should do a podcast about self-improvement
oh my gosh, you should do like a whole podcast series about like waking up and journaling. And
then you could, then you could have like, you could have a whole, you could get people's emails
and have an email list of people that subscribe to you. And then everyone talks about journaling
and then you create your own journal. And then you're all about self-improvement through
journaling. Like I could have gone to a very niche place with this podcast and done something
that's probably more helpful to society, but I'm just deciding that this is a brain dump,
this is a bunch of nonsense, I'm going to sound like an idiot a lot of the times, but I will say
this, meaning like I'm just talking in fucking circles a lot of the time, but I'll say this,
one of my goals is to become a better orator and a better speaker, and I think that this is the
perfect lane for me right now with a podcast and having a long-form conversation with myself
I said this yesterday I genuinely get so excited about the podcasting like I didn't realize this
was the passion I was always looking for and so yeah like it's it's just cool I'm having a lot
of fun that's the whole point and again this is a brain dump I'm I'm just testing this podcast thing
out um entertainment humor like I said is a safe space and that's what I want to provide for you
so yeah there's enough people teaching you shit like you don't need Jacqueline to start
you know telling you and preaching to you about fucking self-help or how to be an entrepreneur
or eat cleaner or whatever there's so many people out there in fact on my little notes here
I wrote a list of I don't know if I want to I could totally dive into this huge list but I
wrote a list of people that I turn to for specific things that I need help with and these are the
people I'd like to I'd like the world to elect as the only people that can ever talk about these
topics because it's too saturated there's too much information and I love these people and
like for example I mentioned Andy Frisella a couple days ago I think um wow I'm I'm deep into
this podcast I'm like forgetting what episode I talked to talk about stuff on because now this is
my it's my fourth or fifth episode holy shit uh Peter Krohn he's like a mind architect I love
the way he teaches people how to think and how you know how you can understand your mind but I
could go into this whole list. The reason why I even brought this up is because I don't want to
add to the pile of bullshit. I don't want to be one of these people and be like them. I just want
to recommend them and say, hey, I'm like your hub. It's like you listen to Jacqueline's podcast
and then she'll mention like, hey, are you struggling with your mind and your mental
health? Go look at Peter Krohn and only Peter Krohn. Go to Peter Krohn's Instagram. That's
your recommendation for today. I'm going to keep that short and sweet. I got a whole list here of
people I recommend. So maybe each podcast, I'll, I'll shout one out, but that's how I feel like
people should get information. Just like there's cause here's the thing. God damn it. I'm really
just going on tangents here, but everyone's regurgitating the same fucking information.
And there's some people that are really good at it. And that I believe in my own, in my eight
ears that I identified yesterday of my social media and information overload exposure. I've
identified the people that I believe are the best at it and in each category. And those are the
people that I'm going to recommend to you. So anyways, moving, moving on. Um, okay. Another
thing about the podcast is I realized that it's a brain dump. It's a bunch of nonsense. I'm just
talking about my life and maybe it's funny, maybe it's entertaining, whatever. But I realized that
I want I've already noticed I've been a little bit of an overshare I've been telling you guys
a lot of like deep inside information about myself and I think I'm naturally kind of nosy
and I know what it's like to I don't know like really get to know someone because you know like
for an example oh my god am I exposing myself I'm exposing myself and and this is a this is a good
thing this is part of the brain dump this is part of the nonsense you're going to get today
so here's like a too much information story uh to kind of kick off the podcast because here's
the thing I do have a heavier top heavy hitting topic that I'm gonna have to read my notes and
talk about in a little bit because I really feel inclined to talk about it today but I want to get
this BS, like, disgusting personal thing off my chest and tell you guys what I've been looking
at lately on social media right before bed, and it's so disgusting, but, like, okay, wow, you have
no clue what I'm talking about. So, I have pylor cysts on my head. I have two. They've been there
for years, probably since high school. They're really small. They're, like, the size, if you
think of a frozen pea. I have two little frozen peas on my scalp, and I always get self-conscious,
like, if a guy's ever playing with my hair, I'm like, please do not touch the spot where the
little ball is, because it's not, like, it's, it's awkward. It's, like, this little bump.
Anyways, I have pyelosis, and I don't know why, but lately, now that I'm getting back into my,
I'm, like, going to the doctor and getting all my doctor's appointments lined up this year,
i'm like oh this is like something i could get taken out and take care of so
the tmi thing i'm going to tell you right now is that i've been looking at
videos i searched the hashtag pyler cyst on instagram there's only like 100 posts
it's a very very small community of people that have videos of this but because i looked at like
if i was to get this removed what even is it and then it's like one of those like you can't look
away things, and then I'm, like, obsessed with watching these cysts get removed from people's
scalps, because it only grows, like, apparently these cysts are growing, they grow in the hair
follicle, and it's so common, like, I remember, I think my dad had these when I grew up, like, he
would, when I was a little girl, like, I remember being so little, like, maybe, like, five years old,
maybe younger than that, and he would, I would poke the little bump on his head, and then he
would like completely shut off and like turn off like a robot then I poke it again he'd turn back
on and be like alive and it was it was always like a fun little game I played with him so yeah these
are common it's kind of gross but that's what I've been that's a nosy little piece of information I
just shared like my late night social media scrolling is yeah it's a lot of tiktok yeah
it's a lot of like bullshit on twitter and then it's pylar cyst videos so I don't know we all do
weird shit. I'm a picker though. Like I will say I'm getting better and not touching my face. But
if someone has a zit, they're like not attending to on their back. It is all I can do to not go
and get it. And that's it. That's it. Okay. I'll say this, put this in your dating profile. If
you're a guy, cause I feel like my whole audience is like, I think my percentage is it's like 60,
40 men to women. No, it's more than it's like, I don't know. It's mostly guys, but I'll say this,
put this in your dating profile. If you have back knee, that's a bonus. That's a bonus points for,
for me. If, if you got back knee, I, um, big, huge plus. Um, because as someone who needs to get her
nervous energy out and pick shit, like if you're my boyfriend, if we're dating and you have a bunch
of back knee, Oh my God, I'm the happiest woman, uh, alive. That is so again, exposing myself,
disturbing information, but we all have our things. I'm not, like, like, I'm not in, I'm a basic, this
is another note I wrote. I wrote, I'm a simple woman. I literally wrote in my note, I'm a simple
woman. Like, I like pretty basic shit, and, like, I'm talking about things I'm into. You can read
between the lines. Like, I'm not, I'm not a crazy, like, I don't want to go into that topic, because
I know family's listening, and that's awkward. I could talk about my sex life, but it's weird,
okay? I don't want to go into it. So, but I'm simple, and actually, I just don't want to keep
going on this, but I'm saying, like, the weird thing, like, back knee, like, that's, like, a weird
thing that I, like, in my partner to have. Like, it's kind of fun. It gives me something to do.
it's like uh okay I need to stop talking about this this is uh wow again oversharing
too much information um again I could I could make this podcast serious and I can make this
like you're gonna walk away and you're gonna be so inspired and so like wow I'm gonna go
change the world because I listen to Jackson's podcast but honestly this is this is just a
it's just an outlet for me to get everything in my brain out because I really feel like this is
the thing I've been deprived this year of talking because I've been isolated with myself most of the
year um I'm a little bit ashamed of that and like embarrassed a little bit like oh like that's sad
you have like nobody but that's my reality that's my experience and uh I will say this though this
has been a good year for my aging in my face because the less mouth movements I make and
facial expressions, having conversations with people in real life and everything, like the
better. My face has been pretty frozen and stuck in just a calm, relaxed position for the majority
of the year. This is probably the most my face has not moved my entire life. And I'm ramping
things up now that I'm podcasting and, uh, we're going into, we're going into some new territory
here. My face is, it might get sore. I feel like, Jacqueline, why are you trying to be fucking funny
right now? I should get to the heavy topic. This is me trying to be, oh my God, like I got to
entertain you guys. I got to keep you guys interested. But I really feel like my face could
get, um, get sore after a while podcasting in this first like two week period. Um, I'm almost
expecting it at this point, like, I know my cheeks are going to be screaming at me after, after a
couple weeks, because, like I said, I haven't been moving my face much this year, like I said in a
couple podcasts ago, I'm down for, I'm down for looking my age, I'm cool with wrinkles, it's
whatever, like, I think it's character, it's good, but I am, you know, I'd be lying to say that, you know,
preserving your wrinkles for a year is, or for most of the year by not talking to people is, it's
pretty cool. Just a thought. I don't know if anyone else has thought about that, but, okay, so, wow, I
just literally, okay, this is bad. First of all, I'm not editing this podcast. I do it in one take, but
here I am picking a piece of skin on my arm that doesn't need to be picked. There's nothing going
on. It's just, like, a little teeny piece of skin, so I need to sit on my hands. Not only am I going
to get a seat belt for my chair to restrain myself to make myself less like crazy when I talk
because yesterday I felt so cracked out on that coffee and again that that's not going to happen
today actually because of my kombucha and what was I going to say I was going to say something
about my hands like having like something that restrains my hands too so I don't pick up my skin
and get distracted um so seat belt sit on my hands this is like a torture chamber me sitting
in like my podcast studio I can't wait to I can't wait to film this I'm gonna have like it's gonna
look like the saw movies I'm gonna have like some like restrictive chair that that will be my thing
you'll like tune into the podcast and she's in one position the entire time with her fucking call
center mic on. Oh shit, what was I gonna say? Yeah, okay, so I do this in one take. I drank too much
coffee yesterday. I don't know where I was going with that, but that's what this podcast is gonna
be. One take, because I'm lazy, I'll be honest. I don't, I don't want to edit myself. The whole
point of this podcast is to get you guys inside my brain, get you guys, like, some entertainment,
how I think and it's a stream of consciousness this is like it's the way it is so
I don't know like do other people I feel like a lot of people podcast in one take
ever like most everyone does that's the whole point I'm just saying like I don't want to um
forget what I'm going to say and then feel anxiety about oh my gosh I got to keep
that I got to keep up the the chit chat or else it's I don't want any dead air like if
10 seconds of silence go by, then, in fact, let's have a, well, I'm saying if 10 seconds of silence
go by, I'm going to feel anxiety. Like, I just don't know if I can handle that. But you know
what? We're going to have a moment of silence right now. Let's have, in honor of Labor Day,
let's have a moment of silence right now for all the essential workers, all the laborers out there
that are kicking ass this year, and in the past, all your grandparents, all your relatives,
all your friends that have been laborers their whole lives, because you know what?
Those are some good-ass Americans or good-ass people. I don't know if everyone listening is
from America, but why am I saying this? We're gonna have a moment of silence right now. Okay.
Okay, that's too much time. I can't handle that. I'm looking at my little recording thing,
and it's a straight line. Like, it literally looked like my heartbeat just stopped.
you know how the audio does the up and down thing and yeah straight line for I think that was about
two and a half seconds and that's all I could handle um I do need to lubricate my mouth right
now so I'm going to drink some more kombucha there's even more silence okay I'm a little bit
okay this is going to be a learning experience this next topic um I want to tread lightly here
because I don't necessarily think white people should be involved
and speak heavily on the Black Lives Matter issues.
But like I said, I'm going to use this opportunity right now to learn
and see if I can speak this out and dive into this topic
because I see a message in it.
I see the light in this message.
And again, I'm going to tread lightly.
I want to keep this sort of brief like I'm I'm a fucking idiot like I I've realized if anything
that this year has taught me a lot of things about myself but I don't necessarily go out and
extensively research things top to bottom and I feel like I'm a I'm shy right now to even say
anything because I know that I am I'm not fully deeply thoroughly educated about Black Lives Matter
and current events and like politics and stuff. I don't even want to make my, this is the thing
too. I'm like, I don't want to talk about politics right now. I don't want to talk about,
you know, because again, this is a brain dump. This is supposed to be fun, but maybe I will
keep this brief. I got inspired. I'll just say this. I got inspired yesterday by,
oh my gosh, is it Candace Nelson or Candace Owens? Why can't I remember her fucking name?
excuse me I don't want to say fucking in her name in the same sentence that's really rude
um Candace Nelson is the CEO of Sprinkles Cupcakes of course I would know that
I just I'm on Instagram right now it's Candace Owens of course it is I just got exposed to her
um through the debate she had or the the Twitter beef she had with Cardi B yesterday
and I remember from like a while ago like I knew about her but I didn't really follow her pay
attention too closely. Excuse me. But I just love her. I love the way she thinks. So the takeaway
I want to say today, I have so many notes here. I said this earlier that this podcast will be
probably a lot of me reading my notes and expanding on it because I do have a hard time
when I don't know something very well, forming cohesive thoughts and sentences on it where you
guys will be like, oh shit, this stopped. Okay, my microphone just stopped. But I have an issue
like forming good trains of thought on things I don't really fully understand. So that's why I'm
didn't read my notes here. I'm going to say this. This is just my opinion and my observation about
2020, is that this is the good thing about 2020, is that all of the issues, everything everyone's
upset about, goes back to the fact that people don't like to see other people suffer. And that's
a good thing. That's a good thing. And that's cool to see. I just think the way that it's all being
handled and the way it's playing out is absolutely insane. Um, but when you, I like to look at
things, my brain likes to boil things down to root cause, big picture and solution. So when I look at
2020, I'm like, we have, you know, there's issues here. Why do we have issues and what's the
solution? So basically, okay, let me go to my notes. Cause I said, I was going to read my notes.
um yeah i wanted to shout out candace for basically calling cardi b illiterate and
uneducated which i agree with i think there's a lot of celebrities that are mouthpieces for
the different political parties and they're um they're not even educated they're illiterate on
these topics and they look stupid and the thing is is they have so much influence and so much pull
they can tweet something out and then people the herd you know everyone goes oh so and so
thinks this I think it too and that's really the issue and I admire Candice for um I'd love to be
as well spoken as her someday too like damn her Instagram live or Instagram story she posted
about Cardi B yesterday was like I like I'm like standing ovation this is the best speech I've ever
heard from a woman in a while um not a speech but just the way she oh she's such a good speaker
and she's so thoughtful
and the thing is like
I think people should study how
she's a good example
I think people should study how Candice
thinks
because in general
I think
that
my observation and my
opinion about everything going on
is it boils down to people are uneducated
social media
is dumbing us all down
I'm reading my notes here
and um it's like the internet has fucking IBS we're all there's diarrhea right now we need to
get a solid we need this is so disgusting why do I why does my brain go to this
people keep feeding themselves like bullshit diets from social media and we need to produce
a solid shit we've had diarrhea on the internet so here's my observation social media has been
around for a decade now let's say longer than that I mean fuck okay my space the whole but
it's been around I'd say for the last eight years where it's in everyone's pockets everyone's on the
apps all day and we've been we've been fed information like never before in our lives
I don't think the human brain was designed to um digest all this information obviously we have a
fucking problem, we have diarrhea right now, people are uneducated, people are so dumbed down, because
here's the thing, now I'm riffing, I'm not really reading my notes, I was talking about Candace, I
was talking about, I don't want to talk about Black Lives Matter, this isn't really about that, this
comes down to my observation of the problem, because I talked about, I want to boil things
down to the problem is how people think. And people don't, like, how do I put this? People
don't hold themselves to a higher standard or high standard. And, or how do I say this? People
need to hold themselves to a higher standard and stop getting their education from pop culture and
the propaganda machine, so the issue I see is that people are influenced by words they see on social
media, and people that they're inspired by, like celebrities, that have no business in politics, or
no, unless they know something through and through, like they're really well educated on it, they have
no business talking about politics, in my opinion, and I don't know if my opinions are controversial,
like I don't care like I'm just talking like how I see it and people are so influenced emotionally
by what they see on social media the words they give so much power people are literally giving
their they're emotionally reacting from a tweet or words or an opinion of someone else like that is
that is what's happening and that is that's the diary I'm talking about because it's because
that's it everything you see online preys on your emotions that's how if you know anything like when
I was in sales people don't buy something because it's like cheap people buy it because and people
buy it because of how they feel when they have it everything is about emotions and what I'm saying
is that I think the I'm like oh my gosh if you saw me in my kitchen right now I'm like I'm like
using my hands to talk I'm like I'm so theatrical right now but I'm I don't even know why I'm
getting into this deep conversation right now I'm just saying that what people need to what
society needs to improve I'm talking about every little individual in America the herd of people
that we're nobodies we're just fucking regular people that sit and watch the news we have
instagram accounts we have social like twitter whatever we need to become self-aware of the fact
that we are dumb we don't know really deeply thoroughly anything about how the political
system works what they how the you know i don't want to talk about black lives matter but all the
issues like we don't know those things through through and through we have a we have a knee-jerk
quick easy opinion from what we saw on social media about those topics and those things
and it's shallow like no one has a not no one I don't want to generalize but or put everyone in
one category what am I saying I can't see this is where I said earlier I feel like a dumbass when I
talk because I can't put my thoughts into a string people need to be self-aware the fact
that they're not that educated about these topics and do the work put in the work like straight up
decide that whenever they see a tweet whenever they see someone a celebrity come out with an
opinion about politics or a cultural issue that they're going to be unfazed like we need more
people to be unfazed because everyone when everyone gets phased and emotionally reacts to
the to everything they see online that's when we have diarrhea the more people that can be unfazed
when they see something and do the work educate themselves on both sides of the coin and
understand the opposing opinions and opposing viewpoints on everything and then then form an
opinion the more people that can go through that little mental machine the better that is that is
the to me that is the solution to the problem because it all comes down to people are little
they're like little kids and they see something and they emotionally react and all of a sudden
we've got fucking riots and we've got people that are pissed off and and all these tribes of people
that agree and we're it all boils down the same thing what i said earlier earlier we just want
we don't like to see people suffer. We want things to be right in the world. And
I don't know, like to me, I just see the solution is people need to think different and people need
to be more rational and unfazed. And like, it's at the point now with the media where
if you take that as, or even, okay, I'll say this, I'll even go a step further,
not just the media, but celebrities, if you take in information from those two sources
and your opinion agrees with theirs, I'm just going to put this out there. Like,
you need to do what I just said. Like, you need to take a seat. You need to assess.
Okay, take in their opinion. Then go look for another one. Go look for one that disagrees
with that then do some research about the history of the topic they they're talking about or whatever
like do the work because that's the issue is everyone will go like for example with cardi b
it's like people see something she tweets out about trump or whatever and um or biden like on
both sides like disagree agree whatever and they agree with her just because she's cardi b and it's
like you have to understand celebrities nobody this is the thing hollywood has no place in
politics in my opinion because literally it's built on people like a bunch of narcissists they
only really care about themselves and then they see the opportunity in talking about politics and
you know when people feel like a celebrity cares about them it makes them look better and it's like
or you know the celebrity looks better and it's all about like making themselves look good they
don't really give a shit about you they they're great actors I mean it's Hollywood they're great
actors they're great um like speakers and orators and they're confident people they'll say it like
it is and so unfortunately there's and it's like I forget who said this it's like they're all out
of work right now so everyone's trying to be a they're trying to be like a advocate of something
like what are you advocating for now what are you like with politics or whatever it's just insane
um let me go to my notes here i don't want to pause for too long um yeah like i said just
we gotta hold ourselves to higher standards and stop getting our information from pop culture
they're not our teachers hollywood is not your teacher celebrities are not your teacher
i know you follow them on social media but like they gotta stop too it starts with them like they
gotta stop telling us, like, the reason, it's, okay, I know people, because here I am doing it
myself, like, I'm trying to throw out my opinion about this, and who am I to say anything, but
people's intentions are good, their hearts are pure, they're trying to, like, it's, like I said
earlier, it's about, you know, no, see, people don't want to see people suffer, other people
suffer and like the intentions are there but I think again with everything else is like too much
information like let the people the pros like let the them talk about it go to go listen to Candice
don't go listen to um she's a well thorough she is so thoroughly educated and that's that's a super
cool and those are the people you should listen to like people like her and I mentioned her earlier
so I'm bringing her up again, but, um, there's just a lot of jackass celebrities out there
trying to tell you, like, their opinion is BS, like, just, there's a very few amount of them
that are, like, I, I would go, oh, yeah, okay, they're not, they're, they're seeing things from
both sides, they're, like, they're well-rounded on this topic, and, yeah, now I'm, like, judging
myself why did I even go on to that fucking rant about like that was sort of like a political thing
but it was also more it was more about thinking differently and thinking in a just like taking
an information in a new way that if society stopped reacting the way it's been reacting
for the last eight years or whatever just stuff they see on social media we'd be in a better place
like it's yeah I just think it's it comes down to the brain like we're not thinking
we're not thinking right um let me get on my notes here um yeah I did write that
no I don't I don't know if I should start saying this I don't want to talk about politics we're
not going to talk about politics um but I will say this I really admire Candice for basically
calling Cardi B uneducated and illiterate just like no bullshit just that is it and that is
exactly like it you you I'm sorry like you'd be stupid to not see that yourself like what she
tweets out and how she like she has she's clueless about politics and everything and
I just I admire because I think more people need to call celebrities out for being
just mouthpieces and saying things that are yeah common sense of course people would agree
with them because of what they're saying like they're in support of good causes and good things
so of course but anyways I Jesus I did not I did not want to go down a rabbit hole did I just yeah
um I even wrote here I don't want to talk about politics in my notes
um that is what I just did I didn't well sort of this podcast sucks does it suck I don't know I
need to drink again I need to drink more kombucha I don't even know like
oh that's so beautiful I love the gingerade kombucha the best um I don't even know how
the sound quality is going to be I look at the I probably can edit this but I'm looking at the
sound waves, and they're really high, like, I'm screaming, um, I'll say this, though, okay, now I
want to keep it light and fun, damn it, now I want to edit that whole chunk out, and just talk about
fun shit, I got, like, I just keep getting butterflies about podcasting, like, I literally
came in the door, I haven't eaten, I still haven't, I worked out, I didn't even eat, and I was, like,
immediately on my laptop setting up my microphone so that's a good sign um I just can't stop
blushing and like getting excited about podcasting um it's just cool like
I know I'm leaning back now I'm getting really comfortable I feel like
this this has legs for me like I know it will because
I thoroughly have fun and I enjoy it and I look forward to it but a piece of me like
this is like a deep thing to admit but
I don't want I I want to be understood like fully top to bottom through and through
and because I don't really have a lot of like friends and I don't really have a lot going on
right now I just want like people to hear what I'm thinking and that's kind of sad but
um I just think that I do I want to be understood I don't I this happens sometimes like I get in
arguments with my family because I'm like you just I just don't feel understood and um I've
worked we I have such I keep calling my family and telling them all like I have a good relationship
with this person this person this person like everyone in the family I'm solid on like we have
no beef at all, like, ever, but there's times where I'm just, like, I just want to be understood.
I have this, I have this desire to, like I said earlier, dump my brain, and just,
like, I just, I don't know, it's my thing, it's my thing right now, and it's fun, and
I'm leaning back, I'm playing with my belly button ring, and this is me getting sidetracked, wow.
um I just there's there's another thing too like
maybe I should have said this in the beginning I feel like I should have gotten this out of the
way in the beginning but literally all the people I want to be friends with all the people I want
to hang out with are our podcasters all of them everyone I'd be like hey like I want to hang out
with you I want to be lifelong friends I want to go to your barbecue for labor day like those are
all those people are podcasters, so, so I know how it is to listen to someone for, like, long
periods of time, like, years, and go, like, wow, they're just, I'm fucking in love with them, I want
to be their friend, I want to hang out with them, and I'm, like, now I'm realizing that if I do this
as often as I plan, plan as often as I set out to do, like, a daily podcast, I think a lot of you
guys are gonna feel the same way, and then I'll, then I'll make, like, that's how I'm gonna make
more friends, is because they're gonna be, like, whoa, I want to get to know her, I listen to her
podcast, I know her so well, I don't know if anyone else's brain works that way, but that's where I'm
at, I just, it took me so long to put together the fact that I have absorbed, like, years of
podcasts, like, I don't even know if I combined all the hours I've listened to, oh my gosh, like,
it's been I I love listening to podcasts I started might as well like throw this back so
I think in middle school on iTunes I used to watch there's like visual podcasts like video
I used to watch these two guys that did sketches called Bratz and Bretta Bratz and Bretta I think
yeah they were based out of I think Spokane Washington they went to like oh yeah they were
I think they were students at um Gonzaga Gonzaga University and they did sketch sketch comedy
podcasts and I think they're on YouTube like sometimes I'll remember and I'll go back and
watch them but that's when I started like that's when I knew what a podcast was and then I think
throughout like high school and stuff like it there it wasn't a thing that's when everyone
was getting an iPhone and I don't know like it wasn't like I don't know podcasts were always
around but like it wasn't a thing and then in college college is really where I became like
obsessed with listening to them it was all day every day I mean I like I told you guys a couple
days ago I had my own apartment so I'd find myself like cleaning my apartment and listening
to a podcast or I have a hard time this is the thing like I go in phases of listening to a lot
of music where I'll do stuff with just music on, but I prefer, I'd say 90% of the time I'm listening
to a podcast, and that's what you're doing right now, and how cool is that, and wow, life is really
crazy, and I kind of have a headache right now, not gonna lie, probably because I haven't eaten.
I slept really good last night. My whoop strap said I got 40% recovery. I think it was 40%.
Yeah, 40%, which isn't the greatest, because I had, like, a string of, like, 99% days last week,
but I keep going to bed late, but I kind of have a headache, and I think it's because I drank
coffee this morning before the gym, and I didn't eat or anything, and then now I'm sitting here
podcasting. It's 11 45. I got up at like seven or six and I haven't eaten yet, but this is the
thing. This is when I know I'm passionate about some shit. Like I don't skip meals. Like Jacqueline
does not skip meals. And so the fact that I'm like sitting here podcasting with a headache and
no food in me is it's a good sign. We're, we're okay with it. Um, my family, I think I said this
before. I keep saying that. I keep saying shit before, but my family, my mom and my sister want
to be on the podcast, which is probably going to happen. I can't wait to have guests. My sister
also messaged the group chat last night and said I should apply to be on Big Brother, which is a
show I've never watched. I'm aware of it. I know what it is, but I haven't ever watched it. She
also thinks I should apply to be on The Bachelor. Definitely not going to do that. Yeah, okay, let
me talk about my surroundings because at some point every podcast I kind of like discuss that
because this has been a journey so I'm sorry if you tapped out which you wouldn't be listening
right now if you did if you tapped out when I started talking about politics and how people
think and I don't even know what I was saying but um wow gross if you tapped out like I get it this
podcast has been a weird journey but um I'm doing it every day I'm gonna work it out this is the
like I said earlier, I want to get, okay, let me stop, I do repeat myself a lot, I want to become
a better orator and better speaker, and I know that it's going to take a long time for me to
come into my own, find my voice, and that's the whole point of this, so it's going to be rough
at the start, I'll look back in five years and be like, wow, episode four was a fucking shit show,
um nice try trying to educate people and tell them that they should think different whatever I said
um nice try Jacqueline but uh nobody fucking cares oh man if I put it out there first like
if I say that what I said was a bunch of BS and and nobody cares then I then I already said it
I already put it out on the table so nobody can make fun of me for it and that is a defense
mechanism I use from all the bullying I've experienced. But yeah, anyways, I want to talk
about my surroundings. I'm sitting in my kitchen again. I'm leaning back. I was playing with my
belly button ring. I'm wearing, let's see, XXL Maverick clothing t-shirt. That's Logan Paul's
clothing company, which, yeah, I got this at, I don't even know. Oh yeah, I got this at a, I got
this a buffalo exchange weirdly like there were 10 of these like so many of these t-shirts were
hanging in one spot I'm like someone just bought a bunch of these when it launched and then gave
it to the thrift store so yeah I picked up one of these it's my sleep shirt so I'm wearing that
I'm wearing urban outfitter ribbed gray underwear it's a t-shirt and underwear that's usually my
vibe in my um my apartment oversized tee no pants I do what I want love it it's cool um
wearing my whoop strap my hair's wet I showered I thought I'm gonna curl my hair after this and
take a nice like a glam shot with my call center headset for for Instagram but I'm feeling like
the headache hurts me and I'm hungry and I don't want to do that and get ready and I don't want to
put on makeup, so that probably won't happen, but you know that, now you know that if that, if, if
that picture comes out in the next 24 hours, you know that was a lot of, that was, I had to put in
a lot of effort to, to do that, so yeah, my hair's wet, got my kombucha, I have a cup of water with
a cup that I got from a bar I walked home with, it's like one of those plastic, you get like a
double like think about getting like a double vodka cranberry gin and tonic some bullshit I
would order at like 2 a.m or like right before they closed and walked out with so I got that
full of water um I got my iPhone 8 plus still such a sexy phone hasn't gone gone bad on me yet
uh I love it I think has the best camera honestly like the new cameras are too nice
the 8 plus is perfect so I've got that um oh yeah I was gonna mention so the drunk guy a couple days
go sit on the curb with the brown paper bag. The bag is still there, except now it's moved to the
center of the road I'm seeing, and cars are just driving over it. So I wouldn't be surprised to see
a bunch of hot Cheeto dust everywhere at some point today. That'll be how I find out what's in
it, because I have yet to go. I said I was going to go look and see what's in it, but yeah, I wonder
where that guy went. I wonder if I'll see him next Friday or this Friday. Um, so that was my people
watching entertainment the other, other day. And yeah, what else? Um, I'm looking at, see, here's
a part of the podcast where I'm like, I'm just going to drag it on and you can pretty much
guarantee, I'll say this for each episode that the last, like, I don't know, 10 to 15 minutes
are a bunch of nonsense, a bunch of bullshit. And you can probably zone out and not even listen to
it, but I'm not, my brain isn't fully empty yet, so why, this is the thing, why is, why is this even
a thing? I'm making a podcast, this is actual entertainment for people, and I just, I, I feel
like you could be using your time more wisely right now. Um, was I going to get up and walk
around? I can't do, well, you know what? I'm going to do a test drive. I'm taking a risk right now.
I'm picking up my laptop because the whole point of me getting the call center headset
was to be mobile. So this is weird. I'm walking around with my laptop in my living room out of
the kitchen. This is, I feel like I'm really entering dangerous waters right now. I'm walking
around my ottoman. Now I'm going to walk on top of my ottoman to see if I can podcast on top.
See, we're going to have to figure out the laptop situation because if I could record
with a call center headset on my phone, because it's a USB connector, so I need to figure out
how I could connect it to my phone or something, like I need something lighter to podcast with
instead of my laptop. Anyways, so I'm walking around my apartment. Oh my gosh, it's so like
foggy out and so like I can't tell if it's the marine layer because I live by the ocean. Like
I don't know if it's the marine layer or the smoke from the forest fire. There's a fire east of San
Diego called the Valley Fire. I'm still walking around by the way. I'm feeling comfortable with
I'm feeling more more comfortable just testing the water but yeah there's a valley fire about
I don't know like 50 not even 50 miles it's just east of San Diego and the the smoke I can see
outside is it was it was thick yesterday because the sun looks so crazy like when the the smoke is
in the sky and the sun is behind it it looks like a giant fireball like and it's like it shows every
little detail of the sun it's kind of creepy um came in my hallway I need to end this podcast
um oh my Vaseline showed up for my face so I'm gonna do uh I'm gonna start slugging my face
which is a term people in the um skincare community do or practice whatever where they
put Vaseline all over their face so cool that got delivered by Amazon cool um my gym bags on the
floor see this is the thing I said earlier people want to know like you're nosy or like what I'm
trying to find something I could tell you right now that's like oh my gosh like that's like ooh
like that's a cool detail about her life um shit I'm trying to be creative right now creative with
my voice than creative with my brain. Um, yeah, I talked about my Amazon package. I'm still walking
around. Um, I really hope the sound is okay today because of my new headset. Oh, this is a weird,
okay, here's like an inside information piece of fact. While that is not a sentence, here's a
cool fact about my apartment and what I'm looking at. I have about a five pound bag of flour
up against my wall. When you walk in my kitchen, um, it's kind of exploded everywhere. There's
flour on the floor because when I used to do grocery, grocery delivery at the beginning of
the pandemic, uh, there was a woman who ordered it and she didn't want it. So I'd stayed in the
back of my car for like the last six months. And then recently I took it out and I put it in my
kitchen cause I was going to put it in a new like container to bake with. And so I opened it and
then I never put it in the in the container and um I don't know does flower go stale because it's
it's open and it's exposed to air and it's been sitting there for like six days um I'm a very
clean person but there's always that token like random thing that I won't attend to and for me
right now in my apartment it's the the it's the do you say the or the the I think it depends on
the sentence, the. It's the bag of flour. That's the item. That is the mess in my apartment. I will
refuse to clean until I can't stop looking at it anymore. I feel like this podcast was really long.
It's 1155. I don't know when I started. I hope you have an amazing Monday. I hope you have an
amazing Labor Day. I'm jealous if you attended. I don't think parades happened this year. Oh my
God, that's like the best part about, see, I'm pissed. I'm pissed. I feel like parades should
still be around in 2020 with everything going on with the pandy, the pandemic. Oh my gosh,
pandy, pandy. I love when, I think it's Andrew Santino, when I listen to his podcast, he says
the pandy, the pandemic, but I feel like parades got canceled this year, which sucks because that's
my favorite part about Labor Day, like, I love parades, and having barbecues with the family,
perfect barbecue meal for me, here's, I'll tell you what it is, because I'm hungry, so I'm going
to talk about food, and then I'm going to end this, perfect barbecue plate is a giant-ass piece
of watermelon, but, like, you eat, like, 15 of them before you, like, while everything's cooking,
like, while you're getting the food ready, eat a bunch of watermelon, but you still put one on
your plate, and then you have potato salad, particularly the one with the red lid at the
grocery store, I don't know the brand, or if it's homemade, I only like, now I'm sad, like my uncle
that passed away had the best potato salad recipe, and I need to hit up my aunt Heidi for the recipe,
I think she might have it, or my mom, but that's, so potato salad, watermelon, barbecue chips,
Lay's basic bitch barbecue chips I mean you can get like the kettle cooked ones or like you can
get the fancier ones but I just like the basic like fucking like Lay's chips um so potato salad
barbecue chips watermelon and then like I'm a cheeseburger I'm a cheeseburger cheeseburger
bitch at a barbecue um yeah like when there's always the point in the barbecue where the dad
will be like or whoever's making the burgers and hot dogs like who wants cheese that's probably a
meme out there I don't know if it is but there's always a point like who wants cheese and then
they put the cheese on cheese on the burger so I get the cheese burger burger I fucking hate my
voice today shit I can't I can't edit this I can't edit this but I'm getting dry mouth and I'm trying
to tell you guys what I get on my barbecue plate before I end this a hamburger uh fuck I don't want
to tell you what I put on my cheeseburger, but, like, you know, basic shit, uh, lettuce, tomato,
I do like tomato, onions, I like everything, like, whatever the options are, I like everything,
pickles, mayo, I love, mayo, I'm, I fucking love mayo, I love it, I only really eat it on a
hamburger, or, yeah, like, I don't think I've bought mayo for myself as an adult ever, but if
I was attending a barbecue, I'd put it on my burger, um, what else is on this plate, potato salad,
burger cheeseburger excuse me uh potato salad watermelon barbecue chips I think that's it
that's like the side it's like the potato salad oh you know you could add in macaroni salad but
I'm more of like a potato salad person um what else goes in there I feel like I'm missing something
burger macaroni and potato okay fuck I'm talking like a dumbass right now
but I really want to remember like another item on a on a barbecue plate
what do you guys put on your I keep saying like dm me what you put on your
put on your barbecue what do you eat at a barbecue dm me um and then you know what I'll do is I'll
eat that and then like if there's a leftover hot dog I'll also eat the hot dog and yeah that's
probably what I eat and then strawberry shortcake or something that my grandma would make
um wow i'm really i'm really reminiscing about labor day and barbecues and holidays and i've
been away from my family for the last year i haven't seen them since thanksgiving um so yeah
i'm kind of getting like sappy and sentimental about shit but i do i do love proud to be a
fucking american i'll say that i love this country i wish people had a little more respect for it
and i love i love the holidays we all celebrate i love the basic like you know cliche parades we do
and the barbecues like sweet um okay on that note i just got sort of fired up there uh i don't know
it's not sexy like i'm a millennial i don't i don't hear a lot of millennials talking about
liking the country they live in it's a lot of shit talking a lot of hate and a lot of like
what I was talking about earlier, just diarrhea, diarrhea that needs to form into a solid shit
with a lot of respect and a lot of education. And I'm going to end on that note. Oh my gosh,
it's noon. Yay. Okay. I ended this right at noon. I can't wait to upload it. This is where I get
really excited and giddy. Like it's fucking Christmas morning. I can't wait to see my
podcast on Spotify. Holy shit. This is like the funnest, funnest thing ever. I could do this every
single day for the rest of my life, and okay, have an amazing Labor Day. I hope you're with your
family and friends, unlike me, and I hope that you're happy, and you're fulfilled, and I will
talk to you guys tomorrow. All right, bye-bye.
