What's up? It's episode 47. Welcome back to the show.
hey guys it's Jacqueline welcome back to the show happy Tuesday
day. Look, I don't know who your favorite influencer out there right now is, who your
favorite Instagram influencer, YouTube influencer, podcast influencer is, but you're about to trade
up. And I mean that from the bottom of my heart, you're about to trade up after today's episode.
I'm going to take that position in your heart. Okay. I'll become your favorite influencer. I'll
become your favorite podcast host. I just, I'm really, I'm really feeling that kind of,
that kind of energy today. Um, what am I saying? I'm just saying like, I so apologize for showing
up sick and complaining about life yesterday on Monday. Not a good way to start your guys's week.
So I apologize, but look, I got my meds. I picked them up this morning. I'm feeling a lot better.
Uh, it's always feel uncomfortable talking about that, but I seriously can,
I will never go five days or no six days without my meds. Um, my, my mom was messaging me. She's
like what happened honey like you can't do that you gotta like you can't have gaps in your person
like in your prescription or whatever so anyways I'm feeling a lot better today my life my shit's
together in my life together I worked out I got cute for you guys I'm on camera today for the
first time in a few days because look Jacqueline takes off the weekend on YouTube I don't post a
video on Saturday and Sunday and then also sick days so yesterday I considered a sick day and
honestly, it's, I'm, am I being a slacker? You know, I really came out strong saying I'm going
to do this seven days a week. And then I'm like, well, actually not on YouTube, but anyways. So
today's going to be a really robust episode. I have a lot to talk about. I'm going to go into
yesterday, obviously talk about what happened as I, honestly, it was just a big wash of the day
because I had a headache slash migraine for literally all day. It sucked. I couldn't move.
I felt like shit all day. So not much to talk about, but I'll get into it. I have some updates
regarding some things I told you guys yesterday. What did I, did I say I wanted to go on a cleanse
yesterday? Like, I don't even know why I said that. I'm like, dude, I'm going to order my burrito
tonight. I don't need to go on a cleanse tonight. What the fuck was that? So anyways, I read a book
last night though I was proud of myself I made a goal this week to read before bed and I did that
so anyways let's get into it um dude who am I kidding going on a cleanse when I have I have
burrito Tuesday today's Tuesday burrito Tuesday if you're new um I like to do everything different
than other people because I like to be better than other people and that makes me feel like
I'm cool when I do things that are the opposite or different special and quirky and unique and
most people celebrate taco Tuesday but I celebrate burrito Tuesday here on the podcast
so hi um I mean I also say things super sarcastically and yeah get used to it
hi um okay so let's get into yesterday um yeah I had a headache all day I'm really sorry for
being negative on the episode I was so like boring and negative um I listened to a little
bit after because I was kind of self-conscious of how I talked so I I listened like 15 minutes
of it I'm like oh shit I can't do that today I'm trying to like I'm trying to bring it I want to
be your new favorite podcast host I want to be your new favorite influencer today so I'm going
to try my best um let's see I was horizontal most of the day complaining about my headache
and here's what I noticed about not taking my meds is I get they definitely work because I
was spiraling I was so negative I couldn't stop thinking negative thoughts and uh that's on high
I have, I actually have depression, I have an issue with that, so medication is necessary this
time of my life, and I'm working with therapists, hopefully, it's just a little bridge, you know,
to get me the other side, hopefully in a year I won't need it, but who knows, anyway, so I was
being negative, laying around, and then I, just to fuel my negativity even more, just to really
stoke the fire of negativity, I watched the news for a while, you know, it was countdown yesterday,
it was 15 days before the election, I was like, you know what, I want to, I want to check in on
the news so um you know occasionally I like to play a little game I like to call spot the false
narrative spot the false narrative I love playing that game when I watch the news it's really fun
I invite you guys to try to play that game it's really easy it takes you I mean within I'd say
30 seconds of watching the news yesterday I spotted the false narrative and I was like oh
this I'm winning this game right now and I don't know you can it's like lay down on your couch sit
set in front of your tv and try to try to say sorry try to find as many false narratives as
possible and it's a great it's a great time so I did that all afternoon um it was great
um like what else did I do not much honestly I tried to oh I know I was doing yoga because I
you know my head hurt so I was trying to go light with what I was how I was moving my body and I
discovered um I discovered this device I have in my house that releases my psoas which is like your
hip flexor it's like one of your hip flexor muscles I think it's really deep it's hard to
access but I've been seeing all over Instagram I have a friend that he um has this thing it's I
think it's called the hip hook and there's also like Mike Chandler always plugs it uh he always
plugs his sew right basically it's a it's a it's a I don't know how to explain it like a self
massage tool that you lay on to help release your psoas anyways I found something in my house
that is basically what these companies sell to release your psoas and he's why am I telling
this story so intensely um so I was laying down I was doing yoga and then I found something I was
like, okay, I'm going to stick this under my hip. And then now I have a bruise there. Okay. And now
I have a, like a dark purple bruise on my hip. I went too hard. I, it felt good though. So I feel
like it was a good, um, it was a good thing. I did it. But anyways, I laid on my, you know what
it is? This is a weird, I can't even believe I'm like, I'm like, why spend, I don't know. Some of
these things are like over $200 to like it's basically a little wedge you stick in your hip
right so I'm like what do I have around the house that looks like that and I found my happy light
my little happy light which I bought back in college when I I lived up in the northwest I
lived out in eastern Washington going to school oh shit in Washington State University and I got
this light that emitted radiation on my body I don't know what is it called it had like special
it had basically you stick the light by your face while you work on your computer or whatever
at the time I was in school so I was like studying and whatnot and apparently it helps you
it like helps seasonal depression so I found this light in my house yesterday that's
it's like a it's hard to explain anyways I shoved that shit under my hip
and I laid on that while I watched the news and was looking for the
false narratives and that's how I spent my fucking Monday
all right anyways uh if also if you're new I mean I feel like it's episode what 47 today I feel like
I feel like there's so many new listeners no some people probably haven't been here since day one so
if you're new I do this is an audio vlog this is like instead of writing in my journal I'm
talking it out and that's this so I talk about what I did the day before and then what I did
today and whatnot. So anyways, and I drink coffee a lot and I over-caffeinate and I malfunction.
Okay. So that's a thing too. Anyways, let's talk about, um, today. So I went to the gym,
obviously. I can't tell by how snatched my face looks. I disclosed that before a long time ago.
I was like, look, half the reason I do cardio in the morning is to get my face snatched so I can
look sexy on the podcast. Get that, you know, that bloaty morning face out. That's why I like
working out in the morning because you look good all day because you look I don't know you look
healthy so yeah I went to the gym this morning I watched the morning toast podcast Claudia and
Jackie's podcast are you like caught up with that and uh I just want to congratulate then after that
I watched another podcast I just want to take the time right now to congratulate Dave Portnoy
um for for his new podcast with josh richards i can't talk with josh richards from tiktok
congratulations uh i watched the whole thing i think it's a great show i think there's a lot
of potential there um it's called bffs podcast i think yeah bffs it's interesting i kind of
i get why dave is you know i get i feel like i you know he's the barstool man
and um the barstool is this is this triggering for anyone by the way i feel like there's some
haters out there that are like jacqueline's trying to be like call her daddy she's trying to
um like she's trying to be a barstool bitch and i'm like look that's not true i mean i am my own
niche i am my own podcast company host i am my own network what am i saying
uh so i'm talking about dave i just i i'm doing this to congratulate him it was a great podcast
I'm looking forward to the next episodes and uh Josh Richards is a he's a he's a fine young young
man uh I'm not talking about how he looks necessarily just like his he's well spoken
he's got a good head on his shoulders um I'm curious to see what the next episodes will
hold all right anyways moving on I watched that um oh and by the way I was on a hike this morning
again with Kevin Hart on the treadmill there's a guy at my gym that's literally Kevin Hart like
I'm convinced this is a simulation Kevin Hart as a doppelganger that's basically his twin out there
that goes to my gym and anyways this guy was on the treadmill like two over for me because we're
social distancing right and I inclined walk walked and then I ran this morning but it always feels
like when we are on the we're on the treadmills doing our incline walk together I feel like I'm
on a hike with Kevin Hart and it really motivates me so yeah that happened again today um anyways
back to the whole like Dave and Josh Richards podcast thing I was thinking about it while I
was watching it I'm like look I think a lot of people you know they're like what the hell this
doesn't make sense Dave like you're a husband you're old or whatever and or you know what I
mean like why are you hanging out with tiktokers why but here's what I thought about I realized
that I don't care what people are doing for their careers their jobs who they're hanging out with
what like any of that because I I love especially in entertainment content creation I love collective
energy where you've got young kids the TikTok kids and their TikTok houses doing that shit
got Dave and Barstool and his people in his world and you have like all these different people
coming together and there's this collective energy because everyone just wants to have a
fun life and do dope shit and make content and entertain people and have a good time and
I don't really care who it is or what their background in or if it makes sense or if they're
old or young like I just get so inspired by it and I'm like look I I'm down for that shit I love
that shit and I I recognize that in um in the you know influencer space as much as I bitch about it
I get it like people are just trying to have a good time have a fun life you know do their thing
and I'm here for it anyways okay so yeah anyways that was a thought um oh I have a note here I was
gonna complain about my neighbor talking to herself next door but um then I realized I can't
say that let me drink let me drink some water look my neighbor i haven't i haven't mentioned
this neighbor i've i've upstairs neighbors loud chairs binging around neighbors upstairs and i
have door slam neighbor then i have man bun neighbor my hot neighbor from across the street
i haven't told you guys about my oh man if she listens to this i feel like fuck
former school teacher neighbor who is such a sweet lady but whenever she's in her bathroom
because i know the layout the like the blueprint of the building right um i actually built this
build no um whenever she's in her bathroom she talks to herself and it's like it's it's strange
like the phrases she says are like she goes oh i can't believe she did that and like she'll say
that out loud she's not on the phone she'll just be like i can't believe she did that or
oh like or she talks to her little dog she has a little chihuahua that's like 23 years old
I'm pretty sure it's 23 years old anyways so I got annoyed by that this morning because I'm like
every time I try to go pee I have to like if she's there at the same time because it's literally
bathrooms next to each other my walls are so thin I swear to god like the
or the bathroom walls are everything else is pretty good except for the bathroom anyways
so every time i go pee you have to hear like ah shit i should do this i should have put this in
the cupboard or what the like most random random phrases but here i am seven days a week talking
to myself in my apartment so i'm i can't say anything i can't complain i'm i support her
all right maybe she's i don't know um okay oh i have a note here moving on so that's what
happened yesterday and today now we can go into the segment where i'm going to talk about conducting
conducting an investigation on long john silvers okay so first of all i feel really bad because
this was a tiktok i saw about long john so long john silvers and i can't find the tiktok to give
this girl credit but she said she's so funny she's like we need to conduct an investigation
on long john silvers i've never seen one i don't know anyone that goes to them like where
what is this restaurant so i thought i would google it because i have never actually
i've heard long john silvers but i've never seen it i swear my brain just doesn't know what it
looks like so i was gonna google um what it what it looks like to see if it's even a thing or what
if this is a conspiracy we need to dive into i don't know let's look it up long john silvers
wait is this a like a seafood place okay wait maybe i do know about this
sorry i'll turn on the nfl music that's me trying to be funny which it's not funny actually it's
annoying at this point long john silvers i need to go into maps i need to go look
like if there's one in san diego
directions crazy so yeah I wait what 55 minutes away wait
oh if that's if I take a few I have to take three buses to get there in 55 minutes or I
can drive in 12 minutes what the fuck excuse me um potty mouth potty mouth um
so yeah it's a thing I just thought that was funny because I realized
um I'm so full of saliva it's disgusting um yeah I realized I never thought of it or seen one or
I've never eaten there but I'm looking on google google images and it's it's definitely here and
it's around it's five minutes or it's 12 minutes away from me and uh shout out long john silvers
all right moving on um oh so in the past episodes I've been vocal about football I've been talking
about football I've been mentioning the NFL I've been mentioning the games and a piece of me has
been a little bit self-conscious of that and like I don't know I feel like I'm trying to be I'm
trying to cater to my audience a little too hard like Jacqueline just talk about whatever you want
to talk about don't need to talk about things just because you have an you have 85 or 90 percent
males watching that watch football you know what I mean like you should talk about whatever you
want and who cares but then I realized you know what I actually like watching football I I choose
to watch the games I watched like five games on Sunday or however I watched every single one of
them well parts of parts of all of them if you know what I mean I can't watch all of them at
the same time okay um not that cool but I realized like sports are a fabric of my life they're part
of my life and I I should just embrace that and mention it and talk about it and be one of the
boys and it's all good. And I love football and go Seahawks. Anyways, I want to get that off my
chest. And I, uh, had that thought and then I was like, what other, what are the other fabrics of
my life? So without further ado, I thought I'd list off things that are like important. Yeah.
Fabrics of my life, the things that make me, me, the things I'm curious about, interested in are
always kind of a part of my life experience. My little, you know, humble abode here. All right.
Um, obviously sports. I'm a big, I'm a big football watchers of college football, NFL,
um, baseball. I love watching that. Um, weirdly, I don't know. I like, I, and basketball, like I'm
a basic bitch with my sports. I like to watch. Um, I love watching a bull riding, tennis, uh,
golf. Okay. I know people say like, it's people that like to watch golf on TV or psychopaths,
but listen, it's my favorite fucking thing to do. And I'm not afraid of saying that or admitting
that. Listen, when I was a little girl, a little wee one, when I was a little kid, I remember
my favorite thing was like laying around on a Sunday, watching football or excuse me, golf
and taking naps. Like hearing the announcers voice in the background is so therapeutic and
and calming and so i just love like lazy sundays watching golf it's slow it's just zen as fuck i
love it and also i got this weird i need to talk to my psychiatrist about this or something but
um i had this weird ocd like thing where ever since i got into running on a treadmill in college
like it was what i it's just what i did constantly running i mean what's new i'm still doing it
I ran, what, seven miles the other day? Who runs seven miles on a treadmill for fun? I, I like,
I, if you're new, I prefer being propelled by a treadmill belt over the ground, the ground,
over running in the great outdoors. Okay, anyways, but when I was on the treadmill in college,
I always watched golf. I always watched golf when I ran, and I couldn't, I couldn't watch
anything else. I put on the golf channel and I ran to golf. That makes no sense. And again,
I'm going to talk to my psychiatrist. Like I get, is that OCD or is that, you know what it was?
I feel like the, like as I'm running hard, you know, I'm watching something slow and calming
and it was like the opposite of what I was doing. And it like cooled me down. I like calmed me
while I ran so there's some new information I've never told anyone on the podcast so hi
okay another fabric of my life podcasts listen podcasts forever I just started I remember I
think I've told the story back in seventh grade Bratz and Bretta Bratz and Bretta they're video
podcasts which was the thing video there were video podcasts back in the day like there are
now on youtube but it was different it was through itunes you'd like watch the it was very weird um
but i started watching podcasts a long time ago listening them and then stopped in high school
and picked back up in college and yeah like there's no it's not weird i'm doing a podcast
i'm obsessed with podcasts i watch them on youtube like i watch i don't watch netflix i
watch podcasters which actually i didn't tell you guys last night i watched um your mom's house
again which was great anyways um another fabric fabric fabric of my life uh farming farms country
music farm life I was never on a I was raised around big farms like dairy farms potato farms
like all these farms I lived in a we never we weren't farmers ourselves we had we had a shit
ton of animals all the time like always horses always sheep goats bunny rabbits chickens we
always had a chicken coop tons of cats and dogs and shit like I always had a ton of animals lived
on a little funny farm but we live next to dairy farms my whole life and so I feel like I haven't
told farm stories in a while but that's a fabric of my life um anyways oh fishing like that kind
of stuff you know what I realized this is okay wait I'll get into that in a second oh another
fabric of my life being a hot girl I actually wrote that in my notebook and that's kind of
embarrassing but yo like it's part of my life being a girl I mean hot girl that's subjective
right um only I the beholder but if I had to behold myself I would say like I'm a lukewarm
like six I don't know I think my personality punches it up a little bit like a seven
whatever anyways being a girl doing girly things beauty skincare makeup fashion all that shit
that's part of my life all right why am I doing this list today I wrote coffee obviously fitness
obviously oh my gosh how could I forget social media huge fabric of my life my life my life
it's weird I don't want to get too in my head about this I don't want you to get too in your
head about it but like yo we're on our fucking phones so much every day it's like our lifestyle
is your phone is just holding it like a little infant on the youtube podcast you can watch
and that's kind of cute imagine me with a baby like this what it would look like
our phones are like our little children and it's weird how it's like one day I'm in high school
and or like one night one day I'm t9 word texting do you guys remember t9 word
on a flip phone and then the next thing I know I have an Instagram I have all these apps and
Snapchat and I'm in college and now I'm posting it's just like a whole new world and then Instagram
stories I feel like took it to another level now you're checking up on other people's lives all
day and then that's what we're still doing 2020 so anyways social media fabric of my life
and then this is a segue into the next topic but I feel like entrepreneurship
has always been a fabric of my life or like I don't want to I'm not like the classic entrepreneur
person in 2020 that you know I'm not a I don't know like a Gary V type of chick like wait that's
a weird example but you know what I mean I'm not I don't have a business but when I think about my
childhood I thought I could I could segue this into childhood entrepreneurship stories
my young my young hustler days when I sold sticks to people I'll get into that I have a whole list
I wrote there's like 17 different things I wrote that I used to sell um oh and then I mentioned
yesterday how like what the fuck was a magazine sales in elementary school and like selling
chocolate in school you get the most rinky-dink prizes you'd work so hard and then you'd end up
with a i remember i ended up with a the big prize was a bubble gum stick it was like a tube full of
bubble gum what the fuck noises i don't know why i make so many noises on this podcast everything
about what i do it makes me so insecure about myself and i'm just embracing it i'm like look
you chose to do this honey accept yourself at some point you're gonna have to get over it but
sorry for the noises I make it's kind of gross honestly I don't know if I've I don't listen to
other podcasters that sit there and make slurpy noises and then I feel I feel like I go like
all the time it's my little nervous noise I can't help it oh I didn't update you guys on um
yesterday so I mentioned I got hit up on tinder by someone that I was like
I liked a lot and then I were like I've met him a couple times like I don't I don't know we never
he like moved away and so anyways I messaged him back yesterday and then nothing no response um
why am I saying this oh but I was realizing like okay so you know how you can see who sees your
story like you know how it shows like the little like three circles if you go like I don't give a
fuck I don't really like check but I saw he watched my story he doesn't follow me um and I was like
what the fuck he like just stalked me right so I'm sure he saw my tinder message so I'm like
then I got then I was like shit all the content I've been posting recently is a bit much and I
felt nervous I was like oh this is probably like not cute and you know he did a little stalk he
decided she's not for me and he moved on and that was probably how that's gonna end I should see if
message me back probably not um I don't know this is not that who cares like why why why am I telling
you guys but I tell you everything um yeah nothing but I saw you watch my story so I'm like
he did a little stalk he decided Jacqueline's not for me and that's okay former Jacqueline would be
so like pissed or I'm just assuming things by the way I'm assuming things you know what I mean
it all adds up though I send him the message back then he stalks my Instagram and then I'm like okay
like no response oh you know maybe he saw my recent I like posted one of my episodes on my
IGTV and it's literally me in a bathroom looking like shit and sounding crazy and so I get it I
totally understand um but former me would be so in my head like Jacqueline like just tone it down
just delete all the shit on Instagram that would scare the boys away don't act like that
act like that on your podcast but don't let any boys know you have one like literally i would
probably downplay this fuck it you know what i mean i'm over it then i'm then i'm as whitney
cummings would say shape-shifting for men and i don't do that anymore i i i show up exactly how
i am as if we're dating and that's how that's it that's it that's all that what you see is what
you get end of story i'm not trying to curate and make myself look better than i am or any of that
shit anymore okay so let's talk about my entrepreneurship life my young entrepreneurship
like five-year-old selling sticks life um it kind of goes a little something like this
i told you guys i lived out in the farm farmland
now when you live out in a farm it's kind of counterproductive to show up
to have a lemonade stand and stuff because there's like one house per well i mean it's not out in the
uh regions in the world or like like I feel like middle of America type of towns no I lived in a
it was it was I lived in a populated place no um it was Jesus I'm why am I struggling to say this
there weren't a lot of houses I wasn't in the suburbs you know what I mean but anyways I would
do like a lemonade stand all the time with my neighbors we would we balled out so hard one time
and we we had our okay I don't know what story to tell first there's so many um one two three
four five six I'll do the lemonade stand thing first because I feel like that's a good start
basically we convinced my friend's parents they were our next door neighbors they got us a Costco
refrigerator box out of the dumpster at Costco and then we painted that thing pink and we set
sat it out in front of their house and that's where we would that was our little like business
or a little building and they cut out a window and we had a little thing so cars could drive up
right anyways we sold so much shit out of that we sold so lemonade was like the thing right so we
did lemonade oh and we're so uh such good people all of the all of the proceeds went to the animal
shelter we would go give give all the money away just saying that's my contribution to society
right there like 50 the humane society when I was a kid anyways so we did that and then we would
sell like we take sand and fill balloons up with sand and call them like stress balls and then
people would like show drive by and buy these and these were like farm workers these were people
around the farms like there weren't like kids our age around really buying the shit from us
we even painted rocks you know like pet rocks that was a thing bake sales I don't know so that's like
where it all kind of started and then from there when i went to kindergarten i went to private
catholic school kindergarten times um playing with my new rings sorry that's when i started
selling sticks it was more like a trade it was more like a trade like a i feel like i remember
learning about in history the pelt trades or like the seal pelt trades in the what was that in the
Hudson Bay I don't know so like I went so I started out like really young this is probably
all the same time I just have a bad timeline and memory but when I was in kindergarten we started
like exchanging sticks like little sticks on the playground at recess we would all collect them
okay I need to like collect my thoughts before I tell the story okay I took a little break I'm
sorry I want to apologize right now I feel like today's been all over the place because I'm on
camera and I'm I don't know it's like make me I've been off camera for three days and I don't know
how to act or talk so hi okay let's do the stick story yeah I was selling selling lemonade and all
that stuff with my neighbors and at school it all started where we would or the selling shit
at recess stuff started where we would we would go around the playground and collect wood chips
and sticks from the trees and all this like timber we were long we're basically like loggers
lumber I don't know woodworkers and it was like me and my friends and then we would exchange them
with the boys or the older kids or whatever and we'd have our little station I don't know our
recess I lived so excuse me I went to school where we didn't get the playground upgrade like most of
the schools had the playground upgrade by that by then but we still had the old wooden like you're
gonna get a sliver to go down the slide you know what I mean like the thing was old and shitty so
I remember we would like be on the playground or like the jungle what is it called the swing no
it was like this giant structure it was like a wooden castle with a slide and all that fun stuff
we would set up shop there and trade sticks and then I don't know all of a sudden it turned into
rocks then we were then we were collecting rocks and I was such a little nerd when I was a kid I
loved I feel like my biggest curiosity so I loved astronomy when I was little but I also liked rocks
and geology and I would like take the rocks I got from we go to Pike Place Market in Seattle and I
would go to this little shop where you could buy like polished nice rocks and like quartz crystals
and all these cute little things and I would like take those and try to impress people with them
and sell them anyways yeah so that was the thing and then at home so that was at recess
okay first of all I don't know if this is interesting to anyone out there but
everyone likes or I've gotten a lot of messages about me reminiscing about life and so this is
kind of that segment and then I'm gonna wrap this up um and then at home so my neighbors
with our pink refrigerator box from Costco doing that shit then I had me at recess selling sticks
and rocks it was more like an exchange a trade and you know what the sticks ended up being the
currency for the rocks which was weird so we would like trade sticks and then we would like you would
buy rocks with those sticks kind of cool when I think about it um but at home oh my gosh then at
home I started popping off as a young entrepreneur this is when my family probably was just like
my parents especially were like we have that we have a situation on our hands I started taking
the mail out of the mailbox and so I had a post office I had a let me read the list here at a
post office a grocery store a movie store I was a tutor I was a maid car wash like so many like
little businesses around the house but I remember vividly the the post office business I opened
or I would wait for the mailman to go to the mail to drop off my parents bills and their mail
because you know it wasn't it wasn't paperless back then you know what I mean and
and get the I would take it out of the mailbox in the morning like the newspaper and everything
and I'd bring it to my little post office and I would charge them for their mail I'd be like
it's 25 cents you want to read the newspaper give me a quarter you know what I mean and they
I feel like they played along and had fun with me and did that um but sometimes it was like where
the fuck is my bill like where are my bills like what's going on you know it got it got chaotic
and they had I remember my favorite thing when I was a little girl was going to my mom's office
and I loved adult shit so I've mentioned in the past that I really I couldn't really get into
playing with Barbies and playing make-believe and stuff I I never felt natural and like I always
felt like I was like oh I'm supposed to be having like or I'm supposed to be making voices for the
Barbies and I didn't feel I don't know I couldn't do it so all the stuff I enjoyed was around real
life adult mature stuff that's why I loved having little businesses and little stores and whatnot so
my favorite thing that was going to my mom's office and I would like collect her office
supply shit that was like old she was getting rid of or whatever or she'd like have extra and I
remember getting this giant filing system with different slots where I could put my parents mail
and like but they're I could label their name and whatever and it was I think I was like six I have
no clue I have like I said I have weird memory or like a weird time like bad timeline or you know
what I mean so yeah I would like anyways that was in my bedroom by the way just like set up in the
corner welcome to the post office and then I feel like let's see another one um the grocery store
my siblings and I would get on we would all kind of do this together we would take all of our pantry
items not the stuff out the fridge obviously we take all of our pantry items and then like I had
these labels for my mini cash register that's what I want like I'm a kid I'm like I want a cash
register not only did I buy myself a safe with my allowance which is another story I don't think
I've told I might tell that today I bought my parents got me a little mini cash register but
this thing had barcodes it could actually scan so for our grocery store for my little grocery
store business my siblings and I would all like gather up our cans and all their pasta boxes and
all that stuff we would set up a little grocery store and then like for dinner time my mom would
come in and shop you know what I mean and we'd check her out and I'd have my little scanner
so we did that um library was probably the longest business I had open because my room was basically
the library you know what I mean I take all the books that we all had and I would you know do the
barcode thing with those and it was so I just feel like when I was a little girl playing store
having my little businesses selling shit to my parents my siblings and stuff it was so like
it was like this whole world this whole like vibe I can't describe it it's it was I I love the
process of selling shit and making money and that's that's stuck with me forever I feel like
it's a little it's like part of me it's a I'm saying this because it's a fabric of my life
why did I do that segment who knows this is a lot of fun to talk about and reminisce so I hope
you're having as much fun as I am um oh okay and then I do like the same thing the library thing
um and the movie thing were pretty much the same concept basically like movie store take all the
movies you get the idea um a couple other things so then I started tutoring my brother I don't
think I did I charge him I think I did of course I did this was never nothing I didn't do anything
for free I was like look if I'm gonna tutor you you're paying up so I would help him with his
homework I love like playing teacher and doing that and then that's another one and then I would
clean my siblings room for them I swear I was only charging like a dollar or like 50 cents like not
that much um I would clean their rooms what else did I have anything else on here car wash yeah
I don't know I don't feel like I could I shouldn't drag this segment on too long
um because it makes me sound like I'm stuck in the past I'm like I'm I miss being a little girl
being a little young entrepreneur it's not the case necessarily it's just like I don't know
it's part of my life oh I was going to tell a story about my my safe I bought so
it does it sound like I'm tooting my own horn right now by the way is it like
Jacqueline just told us how she was a young businesswoman and like did all this stuff that
everyone does when they're a kid like having a little post office and library in their house
and selling stuff on the playground like that's so normal everyone does that I don't think it's
unique or special or cool it's just me telling my life story okay get over it anyways this story
though is kind of like me I guess so I've expressed many times that I like hate spending money like
I like I don't know I somebody hate it I think you have to live your life and spend your money
but I get, I just get nervous about it. Like I don't like to. And anyways, um, it's probably
why I like, I still haven't bought a new car or like, just like, I don't like, I don't, I don't
know. I feel like a bad adult. Like there's some shit you should just buy and take care of. And
I'm like, um, but when I was a little girl, we occasionally would get like for different periods
of time, we would get an allowance, like depending on what my parents were, I don't know, like how
they were doing I don't know that's weird but uh at one point we're getting like I think 10 bucks
a week got a lot for a little kid I don't know it was like five dollars a week ten dollars a week
um anyways but every Friday so for this time I think I was in like fourth grade third or fourth
grade and we would get our allowance every Friday after school my dad would like open his wallet and
you know give us i have a younger brother and older sister pick us up from school hand us our
ten dollars and then he would take us to walmart and he was we called him the good time man because
he was like a good time you know we always did fun shit with him and uh he was a cool dad you
know what i mean gave us our allowance and like go spend it kids and i never spent it i remember i
go to walmart with my brother and sister and my brother always bought like hot wheels and gi joe
stuff. And my sister would buy Barbies and Barbie clothes and all that. And I never, I like never
spent it ever. And one day I, cause you know what I like to do? This is like, I don't know,
is this OCD? I like to stack the bills, like just on top of each other. And I would iron them with
cornstarch. My grandma taught me that by the way, so random, but my grandma taught me how to make a
dollar bill more crispy and like how to make it new. So you take cornstarch and you iron it out.
see I'm like literally like collecting my dollar bill my ten dollar bills and just like stacking
them anyways one day after school my dad picks us up gives us our allowance and then you know
we go off to Walmart so fun right and I'm like down the safe aisle and I'm like oh I want to
buy a safe I don't know I was like I want to put my money in a safe so then literally I buy a little
black safe with a key and then I kept stacking my money in it you know what I mean and that's just
what I did and I I don't know I loved I just got it I got I understood an early early age that
money was freedom money is energy it's freedom it literally is that it when you have it you can do
stuff you can be free you can buy whatever you want you can travel wherever you want and when
you don't have it you know it's life sucks and so I think I realized that young and so I started
saving young and I don't know um anyway so I just that's another kind of related to my
young entrepreneurship story but yeah I I uh I don't know this podcast what the fuck
I was gonna tell you guys this is like a segue because we're dating uh oh it smells so good
I haven't mentioned like my outfit of the day recently or my perfume I'm wearing or anything
about like I don't know my yeah like what I my appearance but I'm wearing I decided since I
you know feel good today got my meds back on deck on board I just want to you know be nice to myself
today because yesterday I was in my head so much I'm like I have a headache I was negative today
I'm like I'm gonna wear my Chanel because you see this is usually my everyday perfume when I'm
actually around people and like you know what I mean but I'm saving it I've been saving it all
because I'm like why I should I should wear it for myself but you know whatever so I'm wearing
Chanel chance today if you want to know what I smell like go to your local Nordstrom spritz a
little Chanel chance on a thing and now that's now you can imagine what I smell like I don't know
is that weird I used to do that with um oh my god I'm gonna expose myself right now I had a crush
I'm not gonna say on who or at what time in my life but let's just say I had a crush on a celebrity
a boy I mean I was young okay and I remember my friends and I would go we would go to the
like cosmetics perfume section of Nordstrom or Macy's or wherever we'd like spray it and be like
oh my gosh this is what he smells like ah oh my gosh I even okay when I was younger I broke up
with someone once and I like sprayed the shit I like put took I think I had like their t-shirt
still and I like sprayed their perfume all over it and I was really sad I always get my heart
broken like that I don't know why I would torture myself and do that but I was like I don't want to
miss I don't want to I want to smell this I don't want to stop smelling the smell fuck okay anyways
who's depressed I don't know if I like recording I record this way too late today by the way so
I don't know I'm like feeling a little rusty today because I'm on YouTube
it's literally 2 p.m i never record this late um yeah i feel a little rusty i feel like a little
motor mouth like i don't enunciate any of my shit because i'm just like um
but i didn't i need okay this is maybe i'll end it today maybe i'll make a decision i'll
take a stance i'll take it make a change and i'll say jacqueline stop calling attention to your
your voice and how you talk because nobody gives a fuck and only you do so shut the fuck up you
know what I mean like you don't hear Joe Rogan going I really don't like how he said that last
sentence you know what I mean like he doesn't do that he's a he's a g he's a boss at what he does
he's been doing it forever like I'm still on month what I'm on month two now dude episode 47 47 days
in a row gotta work this muscle I gotta work I gotta I gotta do it every day to get good at it
and so yeah I'll be insecure and I'll mention how I talk
and that's annoying but whatever
go to the big leagues
you know what I mean
at some point
I'll stop saying that too
alright happy
Tuesday I feel better
