Happy Wednesday, it's episode 48.
Welcome back to the show.
Hello everyone, it's Jacqueline.
Welcome back to the show. Happy Wednesday. How's your week going? How's it going out there? Guess
what? Today's gonna be a fun episode. I'm gonna talk about obviously what I did yesterday and
you know make this a little vlog like I always do. Talk about what I did today but I need to
let everyone know who can't see this on YouTube right now if you're just listening that I'm
sitting next to a campfire currently. I mean I built myself a little campfire for the set today.
I played around with new lighting. I have a you know a new lamp in the background. A new and I
set up a campfire. Just go over to YouTube to see what I'm talking about. Um, it's honestly
going to make me overheat because I'm wearing my Washington state university alumni sweatshirt,
which is like this thick sweatshirt. And then, yeah. Um, anyways, I like put it so much deodorant
on. Cause you guys, I, I have, I mean my, this studio slash my kitchen dining room, it's my,
my little like kitchen breakfast nook is my studio, but it's not that soundproof. So I have to
do what I can to like shut all my windows before I do this and like put soft cushy stuff around me
and anyways um unnecessary information go to YouTube and watch this and see what I'm talking
about anyways um okay sometimes I finish the episodes and I'm like I bored the shit out of
everyone so today I'm gonna be I'm gonna try my best for your Wednesday today to make this fun
and make this entertaining and I need to start things off by sharing a song I listened to at
the gym this morning and you all need to listen to this today. All right, here you go. Am I going
to get an ad? Here it is. Ready? There you go. Freak-a-leek. Petty Pablo.
all right there's a little snippet of it yeah so Freaky League by Petty Pablo is the song of the
day uh great song really takes me back to my high school dance days where you know you
like grinding at a school dance in front of all the teachers was such a thing like
I can't even believe like just anyways so here's a little throwback for you I'm putting together
a Spotify playlist of the TJMS song of the day. Uh, it's usually, I mean, I haven't made it a
segment that I do every episode, but, or I could do a song of the week, whatever. I'm putting
together a playlist and currently I have that on it. I also have this song. Another banger. There
you go. So yeah, anyways, I love music. I like, I like songs that, uh, I can crump to, you know
what I mean those weren't really crumping songs well the first one was but I don't know I just
like to I like to get thrown back to a time where I was in like middle school and high school those
are the best that like the 2000 I'd say like 6 to 2011 era of music said what a time all right
I got iTunes jumping jumping up and down wanting to I hate when icons do that at the bottom of
your screen it's like attention please quitting iTunes anyways okay let's make today fun um
no coffee fact I've completely neglected and stopped doing that on each episode I can't
believe I had it in my head that I'm gonna do a coffee fact seven days a week that is boring as
shit but I'll let everyone know if you're a new listener that I'm drinking my classic instant
coffee my instant Jacob's coffee and if you can't hear it in my voice just I gotta let you guys know
now that I'm recording this way too late in the day and I'm over caffeinated, underfed. I worked
out, got too excited to podcast and here we are. Anyways, I also have water next to me. Why am I
telling you this? Let's talk about yesterday. So, okay. Yesterday was a great day. Monday I was
sick. Tuesday, or I had a migraine all day. Tuesday, it was a great day. I did a lot of work.
I did a lot of like podcast learning on YouTube I mean shit like I don't really I mean
I know what the fuck I'm doing 48 episodes now it's like yo I'm a pro I'm a pro at this shit
not really but like I go to YouTube to learn about lighting and I don't know just any little
tips I can find this whole podcast is one giant learning experience right I've said that so many
times but yeah I did a little poke around on YouTube and I got some work done for the podcast
some behind the scenes shit like oh yeah you can go to patreon.com slash tjms if you want to watch
this excuse me that's youtube if you want to support the show and see my patreon exclusive
content that no one else can see also uh everyone gets a shout out at the end of the podcast if
you're a patron so that's cool um and of course yeah you can watch us on youtube so anyways i did
some work for the podcast did some i i don't know i like took myself to to school podcast school
yesterday and uh I've concluded that pretty much all you got to know is uh just have a personality
and a great great lighting and you're fine you're gonna do fine you're gonna flourish in this
business anyways um also I said this so early on I think like episode two it's like your set is
basically how you would decorate decorate how you would decorate your room if you're like 12 years
old I have like random stuffed animals and shit around me and like little like cupcake stuff and
anyways pumpkins and a campfire today so yeah if you look at grown men and their podcast studios
it's like a little kids room so there's your little podcast studio tip of the day I could
not show up on YouTube with a set that's like I'm a millennial I'm minimalistic I'm just gonna have
a chair and my laptop and a light like fuck that no I'm trying to give you guys as much shit to
look at while you watch this on YouTube as possible because I noticed I do that when I'm
watching a show on YouTube I like I check out the background you know what I mean so there's a lot
going on today anyways so yeah I did that chilled I released my hip again which felt great I think
that's gonna be my new thing since I'm doing a lot of running like doing a I talked about it I think
yeah yesterday I was like I found this thing in my apartment that is like a hip hook thing where I
can like get my psoas or like it digs into my psoas and I felt like after I did it I laid I was on my
phone watching YouTube videos while I was doing it learning of course you know educating myself
about podcasting and I was laying on for so long I was laying down there and I got up and I was
like I have new legs I have like a new hip what the fuck just happened so yeah super into that
I did that again um oh okay okay so I overheard because my windows were open outside or open
yesterday and I overheard these two guys like going first of all they like pulled up in front
of my white BMW pulled up in front of my apartment and I was like what the fuck okay there's that's
not a parking spot it's just like next to the road or on the side of the road I heard these
guys talking like podcast talk and like photo shoot talk like yeah so I'm gonna get you from
this angle and it's gonna show like there's there's not gonna it'll look like you're in the
sky because basically I live on the top of a hill and so where they took it was a podcast photo
shoot that's what I was trying to tell you I witnessed a podcast photo shoot yesterday and
I was like whoa what the fuck uh so these two guys were like setting up like their literal like
Joe Rogan type of well I guess every podcaster has it um mic thing with a little desk and a chair
on the side of the sidewalk just outside my apartment and they did a photo shoot there for
like 30 minutes and I was just so I got second hand second hand embarrassment a little bit but
I was like you know what I'm at the stage in life where I would do that shit too like I don't care
I'm not embarrassed like I used to be but it was kind of cheesy and corny how they were I don't
know doing it and he was I don't know what I should have you know what I didn't have pants
on so I was like like I want to go out there and like say hi and or whatever like oh hey I have a
podcast too whatever and anyways so I witnessed that and then they drove away I don't know what
the fuck was going on. I'm pretty sure it was a podcast photo shoot for his, I don't know, like
podcast anyways. And then I watched him yesterday was such a chill day. I mean, honestly, I like
lounged around a lot. I watched impulsive and, um, there's something I took away from the episode
that George said that was so like, damn, that makes sense. Or like, I get that. Um, he mentioned
how hold on I need a sip of coffee like no I don't but I want one he mentioned how when like
when you watch a show like Friends growing up or Seinfeld or something and you see the actor in
real life you know them as their character like that's how you've always seen them you see them
as their character on the show or the movie they're in or whatever so he made those george
said that when you're an influencer when you're a podcast host or when you're a youtuber people
when they come meet you in real life are meeting you as you they're not meeting you as a character
that you're in a movie that you play and so that's something that's kind of i guess nice about this
shit is that i'm sharing myself exactly how i am as if we are friends in real life you know what i
mean and it's not like I'm podcasting as a character a fictional character every day so I
don't know I he said that and it really hit me I was like whoa like if I met I don't know like Adam
Sandler or something I don't really know Adam Sandler but like like he yeah he's done interviews
and shit but like on a real life personal level of or like like if he was a YouTube vlogger I'd
probably know a lot more about him as a person but I only really know him as his like persona
his act you know the the characters he plays anyways so yeah watched impulsive took away
that little golden nugget and of course Logan said uh what did he say that I was like oh he
always says like cliche stuff but this one was good he's like it's nice to be important but it's
important to be nice. I don't know. He's, he's cool. I like that show a lot. Um, and then I
watched, let's see. Oh, I didn't carve a pumpkin. I said I was going to carve a pumpkin yesterday
and I didn't do that. Um, which is fine. It's all good. I watched, um, Oh, the 50 cent taxes post
that he made about Biden's tax plan. And then it was like California 62% or whatever blew the fuck
up. Right. But I, I watched, um, and I want everyone, if you're listening right now to go
over to Candace Owens Instagram and I don't care if you love her or hate her just go learn something
she posted the most just badass informative super like quick I think it was eight minutes
educational video about how taxes work if you've never really if you don't really understand if
you think you know how like taxing the rich works and all that just go watch it I reposted on my
Instagram story but yeah I saw that um what else oh yeah I watched The Bachelor I have some thoughts
um oh yeah and I ordered my burrito yesterday I forgot to take a picture for Instagram but yeah
it was burrito Tuesday yesterday and I ordered my burrito it was a great great little uh meal
while I watched The Bachelor that was I don't know what an episode let's get into it so I know this
is super unimportant information for you guys to know but um I am really stressed out about how
late I've been recording the episodes each day and I don't feel like I'm on point I feel like
mid midday is the worst time to record I'm better off doing this at like 7 a.m so I apologize which
I shouldn't do I should be unapologetic about this shit but I'm learning and I'm taking you
guys along with me while I learn but I just I cannot do midday recording this sucks but I want
to get into The Bachelor I actually watched um this was last night but this morning while I was
working on I watched The Morning Toast with Jackie and Claudia I always talk about them and I'm
obsessed uh with their podcast but um I agreed with some of the shit they said about Claire and
how she treated the guys last night on the show and um I don't know is anyone out there a bachelorette
watcher the only reason I'll be honest the only reason I'm like getting involved this season is
because I want to be a part of the conversation I want to be in the know there are so many shows
out there that everyone talks about that I have no I don't watch tv so I'm kind of annoyed that
this is maybe an OCD. Like I make a decision that I'm going to follow a show for the entire season.
I'm fucked. I have to watch it every single time it comes out. That's it. And so this is the,
this is where I'm, um, where I'm at with the bachelorette. Like I have to see this whole
season. I have to pay attention. I have to talk about it. And to be honest, it was all I could
do to get through the episode last night. Like what a boring piece of shit of an episode. Like
here's all I want to say about Claire. Okay. I'm not here to make friends. I'm not here to
like like I don't know make everyone happy but here's what I say here's what I want to say about
Claire um she's not chill she's not chill all right she's not I don't know how else to say it
she's I need to see her off camera at the end of a 10-hour workday like exhausted I need to see her
like in that state because the cameras and the sets and everything is making her so
like that what did claudia say she's like she's um so matter of fact and like militaristic about
how she talks to the guys and it's like it's a bit it's it's kind of annoying and it's like
she even said claudia said she's like a school teacher looking for inconsistencies
like all the guys have to do everything like correct like last night they didn't immediately
approach her when it was time to someone could like steal her away to go talk to her they didn't
act quickly enough and then she called him out on that and got all like upset which was so over
like way too dramatic and um anyways what else did i write about this yeah like i don't know i
don't know that episode it was just again like phony and cheesy how they did the love languages
thing where if you don't watch the episode they had this like king arthur fucking castle set up
where the guys had to come up and like profess their love to her like talk speak from the heart
and they did this thing with blindfolds where they came and like touched her and she had to like
I don't know like guess who the guys were or whatever which is just odd um I don't know I
just get uncomfortable watching the show because I'm like this isn't natural this isn't like nothing
about it I don't know you know me I'm so chill I'm so like I just want to like throw on a sweatshirt
and not try hard I don't know that this is a weird example but like when I watched episode I'm like
these are like the dodgeball scene where all the guys got naked because that was like really
strange I felt like that was so like and then she hugged them it was very odd um I don't know
I was thinking about it too she she sent a guy home that she was I didn't like how she spoke
to him like she's so put off that and he was on camera he's probably nervous and he basically said
that when he found out that she was going to be the bachelorette he immediately signed up because
he thought she was so beautiful and everything and he wasn't really speaking I don't know he
couldn't get his words out it seemed like and so she was basically holding it against him that he
didn't do his research and know everything about her and watch the previous seasons where she's
been on the show and like all that stuff like he would she sent him home because she was under the
impression he was only there for her looks and like because he thought she was beautiful which
I was thinking about it and like yo yo when I first meet a guy or like see him on the internet
or whatever it's pretty surface level like that I mean I can do a deep stalk and find shit out but
you know as much as you show on the internet but for the most part when I meet someone and I start
dating them you peel back the onion you like learn you learn about them each time you hang out and
talk and and date each other and is that a car crash outside Jesus I heard I heard a car horn
I live on a dangerous intersection like area by a hill if you don't see the person coming up the
hill you know what I mean t-bone situation anyways but yeah for the most part you meet
you meet someone and then every time you talk you discover more and more and so I was like
this is natural this is actually how it's normally how dating normally occurs with most people so I
didn't like how she just was like put off by that and sent him home but she knows what she wants
she knows what she's looking for so he wasn't it and honestly I was putting myself in her shoes a
little bit I'm like look I think if I had a room of 30 guys I don't know I've never done this before
but like I think you just kind of know like who I could probably weed out 95 like pretty much
I could narrow it down to like two people pretty quickly I bet and so I'm sure that's what happens
because if I don't know I just don't like some of the ways the guys talk and like their mannerisms
and stuff it's weird I'm you just know that's not for you and so it's probably that guy was
probably like that for her and she's like I just gotta send you home so anyways um okay so that
was last night and then oh my gosh this is like whoa have I even talked about today um yeah it
was just boring as fuck I didn't even watch so I actually I watched it oh guy from San Diego got a
kiss and like talked to her last night so that was cool Jason I like like he hasn't really had a lot
of talking time or like screen time on the episode on the show yet literally this is episode two
so I was like yay you know he finally like talked to her and like got a little one-on-one time so
that's good but I literally stopped the episode right before the rose ceremony and the ending
because I didn't even care it was like whatever um and then it was Blake Moynes is that his name
yeah like what he did was kind of like I don't know he like like like like um I don't I don't
care I don't want to talk about it um is this is this a fun episode what did I say in the beginning
I was like we're gonna have fun today whatever again recording this midday is I can't do that
and I have a note here, like, sort of about that, because I've, my work, you know, I, well, I don't
talk about it much, but I do this podcast, but I'm also working, and next week, I know it's gonna,
the load is gonna be a lot heavier than it is right now, and so I'm mentally preparing for
my daily routine starting next, like, Monday, because I need to get my shit together,
but anyways, I slept eight hours last night, that was good, I had a night, I went, oh, guys,
I had the worst nightmare like I think all year last night and it was really vivid and
like realistic I know it's boring to listen to someone talk about their dreams
but and I don't even know if I should say this because it sounds like you could like you could
like figure out who I'm talking about or like try to piece this shit together if you know me
personally but basically like it was the gist of it was like it's so weird but I was like cleaning
a mansion and I don't I've not like I've this isn't like my actual house or anywhere I've ever
lived so it was like this didn't this wasn't it was like a fantasy world I was cleaning my mansion
for my man my boyfriend and he came home so and I was like stress cleaning because I'm like he
this has to be clean before it gets home I don't I don't want it to be messy I don't know why this
was my dream and I was like organizing the fuck out of everything in fear which was odd and then
he came home with another woman so he's my boyfriend and like he came home with another woman
and she was they got married I don't know it was weird really weird and then he kicked me out
and then I don't know then I like woke up it was very weird but I just remember being like
just so heartbroken just like torn about it and anyway so yeah that was my dream last night
and then I worked out this morning obviously like told you that already watch the morning toast
um ah funnest podcast ever episode 48 should I quit podcasting yet is this boring um what else
do i have oh i keep seeing so i i've mentioned before my my gym is like a it's like a hub of
football players like former football players or current i don't know there's like a football team
around somewhere and it's so motivating when i was working out this morning like shit you know
they really motivate that they work out as if they're preparing for fucking war like it's 300
that movie and like they're going off to fucking battle like they work out so hard and i was so
motivated by it so yeah i like just wanted to comment on that today so many hot guys all right
and then um oh yeah of course i was power power walking to country music and then i started
running i started out with country music then i started running and i ran and watched the morning
toast on YouTube so um what else is here oh then when I left the gym what when I left the gym there
was I had my headphones and I could like I couldn't hear anything but all of a sudden this guy on a
bike is behind me really close and I'm like what the fuck he's like and I felt like I got it pretty
quickly he was homeless he's like do you have any quarters do you have any cash do you have anything
and I literally had just my cards like I had no cash on me maybe a couple pennies in my glove
department in my fucking car but I felt really bad and I was like shit he just needs a quarter
like I couldn't even come up with a quarter then I was like trying to think of I was trying to be
resourceful like what do I have in my car like what could I give this guy I don't know and then
I'm like well he's is this scary not really like what's he's just he was super nice he said god
bless have a good day you know what I mean just got really depressed after that I sat in my car
and kind of got teary-eyed I was like I have it so good like fuck it got me really sad um
see how that happened I've mentioned homeless people in the past on the podcast like I know
this podcast isn't going to change the world I can't really like save humanity with my voice
like this I mean realistically like what am I fucking gonna do with a podcast right but I was
I was saying I was like if I could not completely get rid of homelessness but like improve it
dramatically somehow that's like a life goal and I think it has to do with my upbringing I
volunteered at the homeless shelter a lot I was always like my mom is she's like mother Teresa
every time she sees a homeless person she like gives them money or she like helps them and
we've taken people in before and I don't know it's it's just important it's like close to my
heart so anyways I saw this homeless guy and I got really sad and I just hate seeing people
suffer like if you're the thing about it is that it's in front of your face like when I'm you know
walking around the city in San Diego here and I see it's like right there and so it bothers me
and yeah so anyways enough about that um oh and then when I drove home changing the subject let's
have a fun time now let's stop being depressed about homeless people uh when I came home this
morning so I mentioned last week there was a couple that broke up I like watched I witnessed
a breakup it's really sad but I saw them back together this morning they were on a morning
walk holding hands so I don't know what I witnessed but they're back together and life
looks good for them. So excited for them about that. Um, that's the latest, that's the latest
news on the neighborhood. I don't know. Drama. Shit. Um, okay. Then I was thinking about it.
I was like, what could I talk about today? I was like, I don't know, just getting in my head,
thinking thoughts. And I realized that a lot of the stuff I used to be obsessed with and super
into, it's left the chat. It's gone. It's out of my brain, out of sight, out of mind. Like I don't
care anymore. And I don't spend a lot of energy thinking about these things. And it's, it's weird
because I used to be obsessed with like fashion and, and makeup and, uh, like jewelry and girly
stuff like or even like health and fitness and like learning about like certain types of diets
and like how like paleo works and how like I used to be like into it you know what I mean or types
of working out um what other shows I obsessed with but now I'm at this place and I think this
is cool this is like a cool realization about I don't know I'm in my mid-20s so I'm starting to
like realize things and really get set in my ways this is like early stages of stages stages of
becoming a boomer no I realized that at this time or at this point in my life I only do things I
want to do and I don't get inspired like I used to by shit that's like it doesn't mean anything
to me anymore like it used to I used to I used to have like I used to look at fashion week and
I would collect Vogue magazines. I mean, I used to work, want to work at the place or whatever,
but I used to watch like bloggers and look at Pinterest and watch YouTube videos about like
clothing hauls. And, and I understand as people's love, it's their passions or hobby, just like
mine's podcasting right now. So you know what I mean? It's like, I love microphones. Okay. I like
microphones. I like podcasting. That's my shit. But I realized like, it, it's weird how I'm now
in my mid twenties and like my priorities have shifted and I've established the fact that I know
what looks good on me, like clothing wise and fashion wise, clearly big sweatshirts. Like
that's my shit right now. Not showing off my body and wearing big clothes. Hi. Um, I realized like,
I like, like I have my makeup by me. I use the same makeup palette. I'm showing the camera. I'm
such an influencer right now. I'm like, literally this looks like a beauty influencer, how I'm
showing it I like the makeup I like I don't need to go to Sephora and discover like a new brand and
all that shit like I don't know um and then with like health and fitness I work out a certain way
that works for me and I eat a certain way that works for me and it's like I don't need to get
inspo for the next 20 years about fashion and lifestyle stuff like I just do what works for me
and I like what I like and that's cool that's my little epiphany today so because it feels I think
you know what I've realized that I think it feels better to live life every day making decisions
because that's it represents exactly what you want and you're in the driver's seat and you're
not like oh I scrolled Instagram this morning and I saw something so now I'm gonna go make lemon
water I haven't made fucking lemon water in like since probably February like it's an extra step
of my day I'm like how much of is this really changing my ph or whatever they say it does
like people make it they get I mean I get it it works for some people they like their they like
their little routines but I think I'm living more life now or enjoying my days more because
I'm not spending extra mental like I'm not wasting mental space or shit I'm not overthinking the
steps I take in a day and I'm not like I gotta I don't want to say this influencer's name okay
because I don't like to be negative and and again it's people's hobby it works for them a lot of
people it's their profession like sharing their lifestyle tips on their stories all day but I'm
like if you tell me you take a five minute walk in the morning again like this particular person
documents her day the same thing every single day down to a science that is so
robotic and annoying I I just don't under I used to see that though the reason I'm saying this is
I've had a little epiphany because I would see that in the past and get inspired I'd be like
oh like I want to have like a perfect little day like that and now I'm like fucking
none of I don't want any of that none of that no I wake up I do my morning routine it's mine
me it's not to share with the world and confuse other people and inspire their people fuck that
and I work out and I podcast and I chill and then I do some work and then I chill again and then I
sleep like that's it so that's my little epiphany of life figure out what you like like I spent the
early half the first part of my 20s getting inspo and you know I was influenced by influencers
you know I read everything learned about everything human optimization fashion like
minimalistic shit I don't know like mental health and I'm applying it now I'm just like okay I've
discovered what I like from that and I'm doing it and I'm just yeah I hate chaos I hate being
pulled in 10 directions by 10 different influencers trying to tell you how to do shit
anyways that's why I'm a big believer in muting people like I only watch like I don't know like
five people's stories like I'd say 10 actually like 10 people um because there's too much
information okay anyways we're over um let's talk about Joe Rogan and Kanye West I was
uh yesterday on impulsive I saw the the guys were talking about it and
they were trying to like unpack it because apparently apparently allegedly uh young jamie
has coronavirus and i'd like to believe he does but they brought up a couple points that are like
this is i'm curious about this they are saying that like maybe you know joe has it he actually
has it and just doesn't he wants to like you know lay low and not have to like tell everyone he has
or whatever and then someone was saying that I think like Mike was like uh before the election
you know Kanye's on the ballots and shit and it's probably not good to have you know do a podcast
with him pre-election I don't know I think Jamie has corona I'm gonna go with that I'm gonna go
I'm gonna go with what Joe told everyone and believe that but it's interesting I'm like
because I'm really excited about the Kanye West episode obviously uh and on that note
i really gotta work on my sound effects and shit like when i listen to other podcasters they have
it so down like they'll say something and it's like can't tell me nothing or like whatever like
an actual like song like a good section of it will play anyways um dude episode 48 slowly but
surely gonna get better at this it's gonna take me 10 years but I'm here for it what's happening
um oh and then I saw on TikTok uh this morning what the fuck is this podcast what the fuck
Wednesday you know what I mean that was wait two weeks ago was that off the rails episode
I just don't know what to talk about honestly but I saw on TikTok this morning uh this fucking
Joe Biden Ukraine audio thing and I'm like I don't even know what the fuck is going on
it's like there's so what's going on in the ukraine with joe biden what's happening i'm
so out of the loop i saw that and the guy before the video played he's like he's like so intense
like please share this please screen record this it's gonna get taken down in 20 minutes and then
it's like audio of joe biden like speaking the fastest i've ever heard him talk so clear and so
concise and he something about the ukraine i don't know what the there's something about
is like Hunter Biden is I hear like buzzwords about shit in the news and politics and I don't
dig deeper I'm just like whatever shit's happening we're gonna elect a president in 14 days
fucking happy 2020 I don't know it's a weird time there's so much to know about and so much
to learn about and I'm not well versed on any one topic and that sucks sometimes you know when I was
watching candace owens speak so eloquently about taxes and that 50 cent post i was like god damn
it i need to read more more books i need to be self-disciplined and stop getting you stop going
on tiktok and learning i learned shit so quickly from tiktok it doesn't it doesn't it it's it's
like it rolls off my head what's the word see here i am struggling to even fucking say this
social media addiction is real it's screwing up my brain I can't even speak this out
um I don't absorb anything and actually understand it fully you know what I mean and that sucks so
I don't know what should I get good at learning about what should I get more knowledgeable about
should I stop this podcast Jesus Christ I mean what's my thing I like you know what I'm better
at. Maybe this is why I shouldn't do a podcast and I should just stick to what I'm good at. I'm
better at writing shit out than speaking it out. That's why I take a lot of notes. I work so hard
for you guys. Like this notebook is so full right now. I write a lot and I think speaking is a
struggle sometimes, but that's why I'm doing a podcast. I'm trying to get better at it.
Anyways, what's happening? Um,
patreon.com slash tjms if you want to support the show segue promo um and also go watch us
on youtube the campfire is it's getting really hot yeah it's too hot right now so go go to youtube
to watch the the uh campfire do its thing i'm like gonna i'm gonna get pit stains from how hot
I am right now. How should I continue this podcast? Um, pretty much knocked off yesterday
and today. Uh, bachelorette bitched about that. Yeah. I'm just like, when are we going
to get a chill bachelor? I don't know. I don't want you to show that much, but she's like
a Disney princess. She, you know, when I was thinking about it and like, let's get in my,
let's, let's overthink and get two in my head right now. Let's do it. Hi guys. Let's get
into my brain I was thinking about it and I know that a lot of like because I've been told this by
guys before so I'm just speaking out what I've learned or what they say I realized that bubbly
like like happy bubbly personality is very calm calming and guys like that kind of energy around
them so I understand like why these men are super attracted to Claire like I get it
but something about it, it doesn't feel like real to me. And I think it's the cameras and
it's honestly just the whole show. So I just want to see, I just want to hang out with her one-on-one
like this to really get a, get her vibe. Cause I think the cameras are kind of,
they're exasperating the phoniness and the Disney princess cheesiness. Um, I don't know.
Wish her luck. Who knows what's going to happen on the season, but I'm, I'm locked in. I have to
watch it, I have to know what's going on, then, okay, let's get back in my head, so that's what
I was gonna, I was gonna elaborate more on this, sometimes I'm, like, self-conscious of how I don't
give a fuck I am, like, how, like, weird, I don't know, like, it's, is it pretentious to say this,
or, like, whatever, I'm not, like, sweet, like, a sweet little, dainty little, hi, hi, you know
what I mean I'm I'm so sweet but I'm not sweet I'm I'm all I'm all the things I think I'm kind of
um I don't know like people just label me as you're so yeah what was that noise you're so
chill and you're so like whatever I'm a great I'm fun time and the thing is when I'm around
when I flirt and stuff and I mentioned this so many times I I'm super like I get I get cute
like that, I get, I don't know, what did I just say, like, around guys that I like, and then,
I don't know, we're, I'm talking to you guys as if we've been married for 14 years, you know what
I mean, I'm not, I'm not trying to be cute and impress, I'm just shooting the shit, oh, fuck,
I got a voice message from Felix, wait, it's not his name, his name is Jay, this is the guy that
he made the he's from the the nappy and jay podcast they made a podcast about me called
podcast beef uh because he came at me with an audio message about tacos versus burritos anyways
let's listen to what he fucking said oh i fuck with people sometimes so the message
he sent me a response to a story and then i replied typing dot dot dot because and i do this
to fuck with people this is your little tip of the day your little dming tip of the day
um it messes with people a little bit because if you go if you write typing dot dot dot in your
as you dm someone what they see in their inbox is typing like you're typing right
and so I sent him that so this is what he said back let's listen
he's gonna again get self-conscious of his voice he's gonna go on his podcast next week and be
like she played my voice message voice message again and he's gonna get all insecure about it
but I don't give a fuck he sent it to me it's my show here you go damn you say I fucking type
paragraphs you've been typing for fucking six days what's good um because again I wrote typing and
he said I've been typing for six days so that worked um gotcha I don't know what I don't know
what to say about that I was just being a little shithead like I don't want to reply to him about
what he said to me like I don't want to make a conversation if I'm being honest like I don't
like I don't know not into it look I'm kind of not to be a bitch because here I am like I am
self-conscious about I'm not a sweet girl sometimes I get really like this I'm a bitch sort of bitchy
but like I'm at this point where I get it we all meet each other on the internet now and everything
through apps and social media and DMing and then you meet them and all that stuff. I'm kind of at
the point now where it's like, yo, I want to be my local Home Depot, buying some glue, some wood
glue for a wood project I'm working on or some shit. I want to be at my local, you know, Vons
and I want to meet someone in person. I want to be out at a bar. I want to be in person when I
meet someone because I'm I've decided I've completely abandoned and given up on trying
to impress people through the internet and like hoping that how I portray myself online is going
to attract someone because I don't give a fuck I'm like until you cross my threshold and walk
in my door not no that's not our first date until I go out to a restaurant with you and like talk to
you and go on multiple dates with you and like get to know you in person I don't give a fuck
about the internet and DMing you and getting to know you that way and I know that's a really
maybe a I don't know small-minded boomer kind of position to take about online or about dating in
2020 but again I like what I like and I established that like ask me out on a date come I think this
guy's in northern California I don't know where he lives but make a trek out here get on your
Lewis and Clark shit get in a covered wagon whatever you fucking gotta do get on a horse and
why do I think you don't have a car that's so obviously just drive down and meet me you know
if it's that if it's that for you if Jacqueline's your woman you want to come and meet me you want
to date me show up you know what I mean show the fuck up make the trek make the road trip fly out
I don't fly out to guys anymore I mean I can't say it anymore who knows but I can't believe I met
told this story many times I literally flew alone to London and then got on a train to Manchester
to meet a guy for the first like that's how I met someone one time for the first like we did
the online thing and then we met that's probably all you got to know about me is this bitch crazy
she has this podcast is she trying to be called her daddy is she this like what who is she who
does she think she is having a self-titled jacqueline monroe show podcast like who doing
it seven days a week who the fuck is she uh oh oh wait she met someone for the first time and like
crossed the world to meet them bitch is crazy that's all you need to know there you go guys
actually that might be that might be kind of sexy to some people because like
I'm adventurous I'm spontaneous whatever so yeah anyways I played the audio message the guy
said that and made me think like I don't give a fuck unless I know like I just don't if you
like I'm nice to everyone online as a like as an online relationship I don't see people on the
internet and go like like let's I want to make this work I'll do this long distance thing I want
meet you like we're never gonna probably we might meet I might be a guest on his podcast who fucking
knows you gotta find your local the local singles near you or whatever the fuck is it tinder that
says that find local singles in your area dude what's up with tinder verifying people I was on
it the other day um I hadn't been on it for so long and I saw there's there there's little blue
check marks next to people's names and I'm like if you have a verified tinder I just I'm it's
that's a red flag like if you I don't know what the process is to do that but I don't know I just
again can't I can't take anything seriously it's just my brand it's a super on brand for me to
question that but I don't know oh I wanted to do an update so again like I just said
I'm not down for like online long distance dating stuff or whatever but
honestly okay how do I say this um I don't know I don't know how to actually phrase this because
I'm a walking contradiction okay we all are so I'm going to speak this out I realized that
sometimes if I find someone online like I I met this guy through tinder one time this is this is
the guy that I told you he messaged me out of nowhere and I was like what the fuck and I thought
about that I was like wait I don't think I've only like seen you in part like real life twice
so whatever um but he hit me up like after a year in the he messaged so I'm like wait that's kind
of flattering if someone's thinking about you messages you that's all I need to know like I
don't really you know we haven't that conversation isn't flowing it's not happening like I don't
I don't know what's happening and I don't know what that was but I was thinking about it's like
kind of nice to know oh someone was thinking about you all these months later or whatever the fuck
um but no I wanted to say the reason I kind of like tinder or like online dating apps this is
why I'm going to sound like a contradiction is because like low-key low-key no when I go out
in San Diego or like I I don't think I the guys around here my kind of guys like my type if that
makes sense or just not I kind of like oh this is weird I don't know is this offensive I like
kind of hickey dudes like not hicks but like more country like they I like guys okay I'm just gonna
say it I'm just gonna say I'm not here to make friends or I don't give a fuck I like guys that
go hunting they fish they like that's it
that's so fucking like boring
like I like lumberjack men like guys that are fucking they sit around they drink beer they
listen to country music and they hunt and fish and that kind of stuff like and sometimes it's
heart honestly like it's because of their vibe I think because I'm around in San Diego it's a lot
of you know entrepreneurs a lot of you know which is fine I don't think there's anything wrong with
that or a lot of like they're more city and more like clean cut and like I don't know they surf
and they're tan it's a whole different thing they talk like broey here just it's it's hot I don't
think it's but when I meet a guy that's more country more he leans more that it's it's so
hard to find around here because yo I grew up in farmland I've mentioned this so many times I grew
up out in you know in Washington I've lived next to a dairy farm my whole life you know I was
playing in dirt and like fucking going on a four-wheel four-wheeler wheeler through the
fields and like I mean swimming in the rivers and like that kind of shit and so it's it feels
comfy when I'm around someone that's also that partakes in that lifestyle so this particular
person I again I've literally met him twice like I don't know much about him but like that was the
appeal that I saw through tinder or like when I saw his pictures I was like oh this is different
this isn't this isn't this is refreshing so yeah hit me up if you can hunt and fish and you want
to take me out let's throw take me honestly I really want to go fishing I think I'm gonna go
fishing I don't know if I can fish probably can't everything's everything's like it's not the season
but when I go home for the holidays I just want to go fishing like river fishing not not like
ocean San Diego fishing it's all honestly that's fun too I've done it you know I've been on the
boat during spearfishing missions and I'm a great bird watcher it's a good time um am I coming down
is this the come down section of the podcast look I've been I don't know if I'm still bringing it
like I used to when I was really fired up to do a podcast like episode 1 through 20 and I'm kind
of in my head about that and I feel like it's the time of day I need to cut this I need to do this
at 7 a.m. when I'm in my prime I need to do a 5 a.m. workout do a 7 a.m. podcast because I
I'm hitting a wall it's currently 1 p.m. I haven't eaten anything I've over caffeinated
I've worked out I worked out for an hour and a half again this is not the health and fitness
podcast but god damn I I'm in it right now I'm so in my workout groove again which feels good
wow okay let me just go back to the dms I don't want to leave them on scene
fuck I'm just gonna say lol like I don't really
um i just said lol now you guys we did that together dm someone replied to my story always
love the way candace expresses her views she's so well spoken that's my goal honestly with this
podcast is to cut out every like i say and erase every fucked up sentence i create
i just want to get really well spoken so you know what
that's what i'm doing let's watch some stories
whitney cummings obsessed i'm just in love with her she's like i want i honestly want to be her
friend or like i want her to be my like mentor female like mentor i don't know she's just so
I just love her energy god damn how about that Lex Friedman podcast I'm not I'm not over it yet
I could not stop shutting up about that her podcast with Lex I was like shit
she's inspired me you know I've been inspired by a couple people this year I've been inspired by
the impulsive podcast I don't know why but they've inspired me this year I've watched every
every episode throughout quarantine. I just like it. It's, you know, I, I tweeted this. I think I
said, um, watching YouTube podcast makes me feel like I have a social life. Cause I'm like hanging
out, just hanging out with the impulsive boys and like their guests and everything. Um, that's
actually really depressing, but you're kind of, it's nice. Cause they're having a normal
conversation. You're just watching it, but they've inspired me. Emma Chamberlain has totally inspired
me she's kind of I guess watching her vlogs this year it's kind of the catalyst to this and me
going like fuck it just like she does like she doesn't show up to the internet every day to
impress people and try to like make her she's like she says I look like shit she's got acne
she's got her hair all crazy she has eye bags she doesn't care and that's that's so real and
it's so like refreshing to see. So when I was watching her vlogs, first of all, my sister's
like, you remind me of Emma Chamberlain, which is so flattering because I'm obsessed with her now.
But she's like, when we're just hanging out like this, this is how I am. You know what I mean?
She's like, go do that. So hi, that's why I'm doing a podcast now. Emma Chamberlain inspired
me. She's such a, she's such a badass. And then obviously Whitney Cummings, her podcast and just
how just her everything about her so I'm trying to be her when I grow up and she's not even that
much older than me but like I just get it I get it I get it the less the people out there that
don't I don't know that go to the beat of their own drum or they just really inspire me um I don't
know. I should wrap this. Happy fucking Wednesday. This episode was so fun. Never recording this
late again. I can't wait to eat. I'm so hungry. That burrito didn't hold me over like I thought
it would. Shout out Lucha Libre tacos shop in San Diego. Best burritos in the land. I
I think I'm going to start preparing my own burritos on Tuesdays because it was, uh, it's
a hefty bill, a hefty Postmates bill.
Sorry, mom, you don't want to hear this, but you know, normally it would only cost me like
probably like 10 bucks to get a burrito and, uh, Postmates jacks it up times three, you
know, but I'm supporting, you know, my local Postmates.
So it's the least I can do in this time, in this pandemic, in this time, Postmates support
your local Postmates.
they have a hard job and you know well it's it's it's crazy um have i squeezed everything out
have i squeezed everything out let's find out let's go to cnn.com
let's uh let's spot some false narratives let's do this it's one of my favorite games to play
i talked about yesterday music is over the top all right um song of the day freaky leak
pd pablo oxycontin maker will plead guilty and close down what
purdue pharma agrees to plead guilty to federal criminal charges and pay more than
eight billion dollars for its role in the u.s opioid crisis why does this seem like a big
fucking day big headline cnn.com um this is great if that's
the money will go to opioid treatment and abandonment abatement programs
the privately held company has agreed to pay 3.5 billion a fine of 3.5 billion dollars whoa
as well as forfeit an additional 2 billion in past profits in addition to the
god damn it stupid ads uh wow that's crazy whoa that's crazy dog i'm just reading the cnn.com
headlines now for no fucking reason it's wednesday what the fuck wednesday hi
something going on the opioid crisis something positive um the real reason trump walked out of
that 60 minutes interview let's see what cnn has to say
on tuesday president donald trump abruptly ended an interview with leslie stall of 60 minutes
lovely woman and refused to return for a second interview alongside vice president mike pence
another ad i'm just i should probably end the podcast does anyone actually listen to it
this long is this the part where you tune out i don't care um just having fun having fun on a
Wednesday my neighbors are so fucking annoying I get like my so negative my energy my body just
like I always say my toes curl under when I hear them making noise upstairs
so I'm just like shut the fuck up I get angry about it I get real angry about it
I want to I think I said this a while ago I was like I want to get those little pads you put under
or like chairs that make it like like so when it slides on the floor it doesn't go
like that that's what i hear
something about trump walking out of 60 minutes i don't give a fuck let's go to a different headline
hi you like it danny
um i really hope jamie's okay if he has uh young jamie if he has corona
I really hope that's the case, because, I don't know, this Kanye interview better fucking happen,
though, I don't care if it has to happen after the election, I just really want it to happen,
I need to know, I need to know, I need to see that.
Um, I saw a thing, this is kind of crazy, uh, the stats on the pre, on pre-voting,
apparently something like 22 million people have done they've already they pre-voted compared to
2016 where only like six million people at this time had voted pre-voted so that's crazy
it's gonna be so interesting this election um again i just want to get to the other side i
wanted to get i want to get over with there's a lot of uncertainty in the market you know what
i mean right now and shit's happening with like stimulus bills and all this motherfucking like
craziness with that so once the dust settles the election is over we figure out what the
stimulus shit is gonna be we're gonna have more like i don't know certainty the market
because you know i'm uh oh no oh no you didn't you didn't hear that
I've been getting into the stock market this year
in fact, let me check shit out right now
don't look at the reflection of my eyeballs
on YouTube to see what my
investment portfolio
looks like right now, okay
interesting
you gotta just, you know what I've learned
in the stock market
you can't be emo about it, you know what I mean
just keep your head on straight. Don't get emotionally charged when things are going down
and, uh, ride the waves. You know what I mean? You can learn a lot of, it's a life,
a lot of like life. Jacqueline in the podcast was going to say something profound about the
stock market and life. Um, the meaning of life, life skills. There's a lot of ups and downs,
just like the stock market. All right. On that note, happy Wednesday. Jacqueline's to eat
breakfast. This is a formerly what I would always do is intermittent fast like this. And I don't
know how I did that because I'm starving. So I'm going to eat post this, post this, then eat work
before play work before I, that's what happens is I work so hard. I forget to eat. I never
understood that until I did a podcast seven days a week. I get my shit done before I do anything
else so I'll be doing that and then I will um yeah anyways what the fuck am I saying happy
